Braelon Allen or Ollie Gordon? Week 4 Waiver Wire Rankings, FAAB Advice & Top Pickups (Ep. 2225)
47m 53s
The podcast discusses the impact of recent running back injuries—Devon Aitian and Brees Hall—on fantasy football waiver strategies, with Braylon Allen and Olly Gordon as top targets. Braylon Allen is favored due to his talent, role in a stronger offense, and projected workload, while Olly Gordon is seen as a low-impact player in a struggling Dolphins offense. Jalen Wright emerges as a competitive, lower-ownership value due to his recent availability and role in the backfield. Both analysts recommend targeting Braylon Allen (15–30%) and Jalen Wright (7–15%) in waivers, with cautious bids on Alvin Kamara and Kendra Miller for volume and upside. Wide receivers are highlighted with Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas as high-potential options due to injury-related opportunities, especially with Bell’s 9 targets and low ownership. Kenyon Sadiq is praised as a streaming tight end pick, though his value depends on Garrett Wilson’s status. The episode emphasizes injury uncertainty, urging fantasy managers to act quickly before final injury updates, and recommends a balanced approach with conservative percentages and awareness of team-specific dynamics. Key insights are reinforced through real-time data and injury context, ensuring players make informed decisions in a high-risk, injury-prone week.

It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno.
Each position, some streamers, who should we be cutting, and what does the top five
look like?
I've got Jake Seeley from The Athletic and Pat Fitzmaurice here.
And this week, gentlemen, I preemptively was titling the sheet something else because then
another running back injury happened.
We saw Devon Aitian ruin my Sunday and ruin my props and a few things, but in comes Olly
Gordon and it looked like it was the Olly Gordon week, but no, Brees Hall goes down,
so two big running back injuries.
And it's Braylon Allen time.
So Braylon Allen and Olly Gordon, they are going to dominate and top the waivers this
week.
But the question is, which one?
Because I see dissenting opinion around the interwebs, the injuries.
I wonder how much the injury is going to play into how far you want to go.
The Aitian injury looks maybe slightly a little bit more concerning than the Braylon Allen
one.
But Jake, why don't you start with us here?
We've got two running backs that look like they've got a runway.
Maybe one has.
The season, Olly Gordon went 17 for 41, not super effective, but he did score a touchdown.
Braylon Allen, this happened later, four for 14, also caught three for 13.
Braylon Allen under rostered under 20% of leagues, but Olly Gordon is 0%.
So what do you think about this running back situation and the waiver spot here for fab
versus top waivers?
Yeah, it really comes down to the fact that we don't know the timeline for either.
It's not like you said, it sounds more damning for Aitian than it does.
Although.
It's like Reese Hall when being interviewed, he was like, I felt something before the tackle
and then I felt something else during.
That doesn't sound like, I know it's saying the thigh as of right now, but like the way
he went down, it looked like he was holding his hip, whatever it is.
The fact that he said, I felt something else is what I like.
That doesn't sound good to me.
And you and I were talking about before the show, Aaron Glenn said he's not saying anything
until Wednesday.
So we're going to have to make moves likely before people can like wait to see what the
outcome for either are.
Like I said, we assume it's really bad for Aitian.
But I'm going with Braylon Allen and it's, I don't want to say it's like a smash easy
call for me.
Obviously, if we found out surprise, surprise, somehow Bray, Brees Hall was only out a week
or two, that would change things and Aitian's out for the season.
But the biggest factor comes into it is I just think Jalen Wright's going to be a factor.
I think that it's going to be similar to the Steelers backfield with Dowdle and Warren
is that on a lesser team, a lesser offense, lesser production.
Let's be honest.
Like I was an Ollie Gordon fan coming out of college.
I was surprised he slipped as far as he did.
But after watching him in the NFL, kind of makes sense.
He's been okay that arguably at times yesterday, he probably looked better than he has his
entire NFL career, but it still wasn't even that great.
And Jalen Wright for the longest time was holding on to the number two job as Fitz talked
about in his column, stinger and another injury on top of it.
But, you know, Barkley came back and didn't miss any.
Well, he's playing tonight.
He's not missing any time from his stinger.
So is Jalen Wright back out there next week?
It just comes down to, I do think Isaiah Davis is going to be involved, but Braylon Allen
was getting passing down work too before this even happened.
So.
So I'm going Braylon Allen just because I like the talent better.
And I think he's going to have a larger share of his backfield.
But we'll talk about percentages and all that after.
But what do you think about this situation?
There is a speculative thing.
I saw that.
What if the Brees Hall situation was like a three to six week or an HN was much longer?
Or if I give you more of a definitive, what if it is Brees Hall is out for three weeks
and HN is out for six weeks and you have that type of marker?
Does that change anything if you are team pro?
Braylon Allen.
Yeah, there's a lot to triangulate here.
Yeah.
Presumably a longer injury for HN, a worse offense.
I mean, the Miami offense, pretty dysfunctional and the Jets offense, not bad.
Like starts with a pretty respectable offensive line up front.
That line is giving Gino Smith time to do business.
And now like there are some banged up Jets pass catchers, which maybe makes them lean
on the running game a little more.
Plus, as Jake said, I think Jalen Wright is more of an.
Existential threat to Ali Gordon's value than Isaiah Davis is to Braylon Allen's.
So far, Isaiah Davis has played exclusively special teams snaps this season.
No offensive snaps for Isaiah Davis.
And that was after Aaron Glenn had said leading into the season that it might be a three way
mix.
Pause.
Pause.
Right now, HN torn ACL.
There you go.
Just like as we're doing this.
I want to jump in because I want to see if it changes.
Fitz opinion at all, just because you're in the middle of your, of your explanation.
Also, can you sidebar your Wisconsin fanmanship in this whole?
Like, I think that's part of it, too.
Well, but I think this was always in play because like when I, because like I had put
just as a side note, I had put like, you know, this is Ali Gordon sheet with you guys.
And then I missed the Brees Hall thing moving away.
And you guys are like, oh, no, maybe Brees Hall is out.
And now we're looking at Braylon Allen.
But as I was doing the work on this last night, the more I looked at it, to me, time frame
seemed like it was going to be a relatively important factor.
Outside of, I do agree, like the Dolphins offense is just not even like arguably worse.
They're just worse.
It's just a worse offense.
But if you have these huge time frames, that does seem like an important piece.
And now that's massive.
Yeah, I think I'm, I think I'm kind of going in with the assumption of like three to four
for, for a hall with the possibility of longer.
So are you switching to Gordon now hearing this?
No, I'm not.
Because I think, because I think there's so little meat on the bone in that offense.
I mean, Ali Gordon is average.
He's average 2.7 yards per carry in the NFL with almost, I think that's over like 90 carries.
And Jalen Wright, like there've been times in 2025, it seemed like it kind of oscillated
between Gordon and Jalen Wright as the number two and the number three.
Like it hasn't always been easy to discern the depth chart with the Miami running backs.
Right.
And so that's what I worry about.
And there's a chance it just winds up being a 50-50 where it's Ali Gordon, mostly on
early downs, Jalen Wright, mostly on pass.
And passing downs and just, there's not enough juice in this offense for either guy to be
like a useful fantasy asset.
So, but then again, I mean, maybe one of these guys takes the job and runs with it.
And I mean, I would bid more for Ali Gordon, but I think Jalen Wright might actually wind
up being the better deal.
If we get some sort of indication this week that the foot thing, stinger thing, not a
long-term injury, most of the time, foot injury, it all depends on what the foot issue is.
So we got to check that.
It didn't seem like.
I don't think there are any concerns about it being like a full season type thing.
And just real quick.
Yeah, I did go to Wisconsin.
So I know a little something about Braylon Allen.
I mean, he's an interesting player.
You know, I had my reservations about him as an NFL prospect.
Not like Jonathan Taylor, where it's like you saw JT play in college and you knew he
was the truth and was going to be instantly one of the best running backs in the NFL when
he came out.
But Braylon Allen, when he did come into the league, he was the youngest player in his
draft class at any position.
And it's been kind of a slow rollout for him.
I guess my biggest beef with him at Wisconsin was he didn't use that 235-pound frame like
the battering ram.
Maybe he should at times and try to be, you know, a scat back in a John Riggins body.
No, I mean, still, you give him a clear lead back role, and I think he's going to be valuable
for a surprisingly respectable Jets offense.
I think he'd be Latavius Murray.
Like, that's what I said about him coming out of college.
I kind of like that cop.
That's all right.
So, Jake, are you swapping?
No, but this could blow up in our faces, because if it's one to two weeks for Brees Hall, I
would, even if Ollie Gordon wasn't what we'd like.
I mean, even if it is a 50-50 in every single week, it ends up being the Broncos, where
it's just a wasteland.
Like, you don't want either one of them.
Like, they're both RB3s at best.
So, I think that that's the issue.
And Fitz said that.
And I think we're on the same page there.
But, you know, only two weeks of Brees Hall.
I mean, do you need the two weeks of production RB2?
Maybe you do.
But, like, you would still take the chance.
You would take the chance, put it this way.
If we knew today, Brees Hall back in week six, I would say Ollie Gordon, Jalen Wright,
then Braylon Allen.
Because it could be either one, could be neither, but you take that chance because what if one
of them is an RB2 for the rest of the season?
Yeah, I think that's where I'm leaning.
I think I'm leaning into the Ollie Gordon side.
Please don't say like the Broncos.
Because that means that Braylon Allen actually has some sort of hidden injury and Brees Hall
is fit as a fiddle and we're all going to go out and spend.
Well, don't forget they traded for Jarquez Hunter, too.
So, he's probably going to be activated.
It could just be a full-blown committee of nonsense.
All right, then let's talk about number one waivers.
So, Fitzy, you're going to burn your number one waiver on Braylon Allen.
Like, I mean, I'm asking, would you use your number one?
I have to imagine with running backs of multiple weeks, this is an easy yes, but it is you
are locking into Braylon Allen as your number one burn.
Yeah, I mean, and I would burn the number one waiver priority
Certainly if I had Brees Hall and certainly if, you know, I was hurting at running back and had to start Tajay Spears like I did yesterday.
Or HN, yes.
Jake, are you burning your number one on Ollie Gordon?
I would burn my number one on all three, even like I said, including Jalen Wright, just because you got to take the chance.
We're now heading into week four and we're looking at running backs across the league are starting to get hurt.
We're starting to like right now, Ken and Gainwell is probably not out there in most leagues, probably got dropped in some, but like we don't know.
Barkey Irving got banged up.
I mean, there was injuries galore this past week.
So you start to have to take those chances where like, like Fitz said, if you're flush and you have a third running back that's even startable, you know, maybe you don't burn your number one.
You maybe try to sneak them through or like go for a little bit lower fab.
But I think that you kind of have to take the chance.
And then fab, what's the, Jake, what's your percentage on, obviously you're using all of them.
You can say it's the same percentage on all three if you want, but what is your percentage range?
I think depending on your need is going to really depend on whether you start going 20 plus percentage.
I think I try to live in the mid teens for all three of them.
I think Oligard is going over 30%.
I do too, but I wouldn't go there.
I'd rather just take the same percentage and be like, okay, I ended up with Jalen Wright instead.
And like, I just, I would, because I just don't really believe, and maybe I'm wrong, but I just really don't believe that Oligard is going to be like 65% of the workload.
So Braylon Allen, and on the flip side of this, like if we got worse news on Wednesday, again, that's the problem.
Maybe your waivers won't run.
So then we can get news before that.
But if we found out Braylon Allen was out for, or sorry, Brees Hall was out for eight weeks.
Agreed.
I mean, then I'd be like 30 plus percent on Braylon Allen because we know he should be an RB too.
Yeah.
And I think that's the only really separator here is like weeks for Braylon Allen's most talented back of these guys in that offense.
And if he is multi, multi weeks, you know, four plus, it's a different conversation.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's a fab number, Fitzy.
Is it the same?
Is it just like, well, where are you at?
20, 25?
So in the waiver article, I've got a $15 fair value price on Braylon Allen, but a desperate bid must have price of $30.
So I think 15 to 30 is the range for him.
For Oligard, 13 to 27.
But man, I just, like, I don't want to spend 30% of my fab budget on the Miami Dolphins backfield.
I just don't.
So to Jake's point.
To Jake's point, I would rather take the budget approach with Jalen Wright, who I think has a range of maybe like 7 to 15.
Okay.
Yeah.
And I think desperation, desperation says it all.
I got a team or two where there's absolute RB to desperation.
So I would be one that would spend up for a guy like Ali Gordon for the season to have, you know, a warm body.
But a couple of running backs, two guys at the tippy top going to dominate.
We are going to talk about a few other running backs, then wide receivers, and we'll keep moving through here.
But let's talk about this opportunity for you guys.

Running back ads for the week.
Waivers.
We've got Braylon Allen and Ollie Gordon at the tippy top.
You guys, I mean, there's like a little bit of a separator.
Fitzy, you're Braylon Allen.
Jake, I think you've kind of settled on Ollie Gordon as your tippy top, but it's like, no?
Well, who was it?
Jake is also Braylon.
Oh, you were?
Well, I thought you were.
We're going under the guise of, like, Braylon Allen was to week six.
I guess you're still holding up a little longer.
No, no, no.
That's what I was saying.
If we knew it was only going to be two weeks, then I would shift.
Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.
Okay.
Yeah.
Well, easier then.
Great.
Braylon Allen's at the tippy top for both of you guys.
We've already talked about Ollie Gordon.
It's not, and obviously Jalen Ray, it's not awesome, the rest of the crew that's floating
out there.
We put some names together.
There's really one high percentage guy that you guys ended up putting back on the list.
I didn't because he was over 40%, trying to keep him under 40, but you guys both are
going to be making a case.
And this episode, I guess, for Alvin Kamara, who is 43% owned, according to Yahoo.
Yeah, that's like a really high one.
Why are you dropping the number further?
Come on.
Well, because we're trying to discern this a little bit.
But yeah, under 40% is usually what I go for.
Keaton Mitchell, he's kind of pushing up there, 31%.
Brian Robinson Jr., 22%.
Those are the high ones.
And then the low ones, you guys had already mentioned, like an Isaiah Davis wasn't owned
at all.
Jalen Wright, 1%.
Fitzy, why don't you kick us off?
Any thoughts or takes on some of these guys?
These running backs that are floating out there.
You guys have done a really good job of kind of like, you know, building a bridge of who
the tippy top guys are.
But a few of these other higher percentage owned players and whatnot.
Is there anybody that you are throwing your, you know, sneaky little dollar bids on while
everybody's fighting for Braylon Allen and, you know, Jalen Wright?
So Kamara is already rostered in a lot of leagues.
And with Travis Etienne leaving the Saints Week 3 game against the Raiders with a hamstring
injury, there will be speculation on Kamara in leagues where he's available this week.
But he just. Hasn't been good with his touches, which kind of continues what we saw from him in 2025.
So far, 18 carries, 51 yards, 6 catches for only 12 yards.
So, but look, volume is king at running back.
And it does seem like Kamara's next man up if Etienne misses time.
But Kendra Miller might be like kind of a sneaky good add here.
You know, while Kamara does seem to be losing something with age, Kendra Miller has kind
of been. Fairly decent whenever he's been healthy.
He just can't stay healthy.
That has been the biggest issue for him early in his career.
But he's still only 24.
They spent a third round pick on him.
And he's shown flashes where he hasn't looked too bad.
I mean, he kind of squeezed Devin Neal out of the picture in New Orleans.
And a lot of people like Devin Neal as a prospect.
So I think Kendra Miller might be worth a small bid.
A little less than Alvin Kamara.
But I mean, I think he's more the swing for the fences type.
And then Keaton Mitchell.
The one thing interesting about him, like I don't think he has standalone value right
now.
Did have eight carries against the Bills.
Scored on a jet sweep that they. It officially went down as a pass reception because I guess Herbert flipped the ball forward
as Mitchell was running by.
But what was interesting about that game was that O'Marion Hampton played less than half
the offensive snaps for the first time this year for the Chargers.
And that wasn't. Game script related.
Like the Chargers led or were very close for much of that game.
So just seems like O'Marion Hampton has almost been kind of a square peg in the round hole
of the Mike McDaniel offense.
And we know that Mike McDaniel campaigned to get Keaton Mitchell on the Chargers in
the offseason.

All right, Jake, what do you think about this grouping here?
Anybody?
You're welcome to wax on Alvin Kamara if you want a little bit more.
There's Brian Robinson.
There's Keaton Mitchell.
I mean, we know where the focus is at RB, but is there anybody you're trying to sneak past?
I mean, if I waxed on Alvin Kamara, then maybe that's the only way he can be slippery again.
See, there you go.
What comes down to it is that I was going to say everything Fitz just said about Kamara
and the fact that you do have to go after him volume as king.
Maybe he's just what he marks of last year with the tax.
And as volume offsets, the fact that he's inefficient at this point.
But to watch Kendrick Miller, like I would try to sneak through Kendrick Miller.
If you're like, you know, let somebody else go after Alvin Kamara and be like, yeah, OK, cool.
I've got RB 27 going forward.
But maybe just because this is an in-game adjustment and Kendrick Miller is just coming back from being inactive the week before,
is that he gets the opportunity to take the role.
It doesn't look good for Etchen.
Like he grabbed his own hamstring before he went out of bounds and even got hit.
So that's always a damning thing to see.
So.
I agree completely with Fitz.
There's one on this list that you put there that I've been saying since the preseason, since week one, since week two, since week three.
And people are like going so far as to drop him the other direction.
Like, what are we doing with Brian Robinson?
If something happens to Bajon Robinson, people are going to go insanely crazy on waivers for good reason.
He's still Brian Robinson.
Just because Christian McCaffrey stayed healthy last year and we didn't get the value we wanted out of Brian Robinson because we were playing the injury game.
It doesn't mean Brian Robinson is not still one of the top five backups.
To have for running back.
So I would put him in that conversation.
I think that the fact he's at 22%.
Another one, if you don't need, well, everybody's chasing Camara and the Gordon and the, like, go stash Brian Robinson.
Like, God forbid, don't let Bichon get hurt.
But, I mean, people would be talking 70% of their fab if it happened.
It's funny because there was this Kalon Black mania after week one.
And, like, Brian Robinson, it's kind of the same thing.
And no one cares about Brian Robinson.
Well, yeah, and Robinson got, like, 11 carries or 10 carries, 11 for 50.
50 and a touchdown.
And that's what Kalon did.
And, yeah, you're 100% right.
If I were to ask you guys, just as a quick, give me, like, a top five Arby's to target.
And you've already got half of the work done.
So, Fitzy, we'll start with you.
So, you've got Braylon Allen, your tippy top.
So, top five Arby's that you're going to target.
Top five for this week?
For this week.
For this week that you're going to target.
Sorry, we were talking about Brian Robinson.
I didn't know if you meant, like, top five handcuffs.
Oh, no, no.
I mean, that's also a fun question.
And he would be top five, 100%, to your point, why you should pick him up.
But, Fitzy, top five running backs for this week with everything we've talked about because we're going to move on from running backs.
We know Braylon Allen is number one for you.
Who are the next four?
Then, Ollie Gordon and Jalen Wright, the two Miami backs, two and three.
And then, the two Saints backs.
I would go Alvin Kamara, four, Kendra Miller, five.
Okay, that's perfect.
Jake, same thing.
Is that the same grouping or you got a little bit of a difference?
Probably, I might lean.
If I don't need a running back, I might leave Brian Robinson over Kendra Miller.
But, I mean, if you need, like, if you're a fifth running back, Brian Robinson, just because that's the game changer if anything were to happen.
If I need a fourth or even a third, like I said, I agree with Fitzy.
Take the chance on Kendra Miller.
Like, if we walked out next week and Kendra Miller's the top waiver ad because he got 13 touches to seven for Kamara, like, that wouldn't shock me.
Okay, wide receivers, we have not talked about them really at all.
So, we're going to be talking about them.
But, I first want to tell you guys about this new prediction market.
Oh, yes, called Polymarket.
It's a stock exchange for sports, buying in and selling out on your terms.
When your team goes down to 20%, you can buy in and sell it off at 40% when they come in.
When they come back, to double your money.
They're so confident you're never going to go back to the other guys.

And they've now launched a new feature called Squads to group chat where you can see what everyone is trading on.
So, download the Polymarket app today and use FPPod when you sign up.
That's code FPPod to get $50 free after you trade just $10.
Top wide receivers for the week.
Now, we've got some differences here.
Yeah.
It's maybe not as sexy, but you guys at least don't agree.
So, Jake, why don't you kick us off here.
Let's talk about your number one before we talk about what some of the depth looks like.
Because you guys both have two top wide receivers you would be targeting, two different names that you would be targeting.
So, Jake, who's your name?
It's finally happening.
Like, stash them, stash them, stash them, stash them, stash them.
And now, the door got opened because Caleb Douglas is hurt.
And I still don't even think Chris Bell was up to 100% yesterday.
He was close.
And then, we saw what he could do.
With 100%.
And I know it's Malik Willis.
I know the offense is broken.
But I think Malik Washington's 10 targets, which I'm sure we'll talk about in this, is like, I think that's going away with some time.
I actually think Caleb Douglas, if he comes back, it's going to now be, if they're fully taking the reins off, Chris Bell is 100% up to speed.
It's Bell and Douglas with Malik Washington getting kicked into the slot.
So, you saw what Bell could do.
And I think there was an opportunity for, like, that one play to be even a slightly bigger day.
But we all knew the talent of Chris Bell.
Fitz knew this.
He covers the draft as much as I do.
Actually, even a little bit more.
And you look at the fact that, if not for the injury, he was considered a first-round wide receiver.
So, you saw that opportunity yesterday.
And I'm just going to take the chance on it.
It's finally here.
If you waited and you just didn't want to stash him, and he's still sitting out there, which he is in a lot of leagues.
What is this roster percentage?
Like, it's only 4%?
That's just insane.
Like, he's somebody that, it's going to take a week before I say definitively put him in every single week without thought.
But, you know, I think it's going to take a week before I say definitively put him in every single week without thought.
In two weeks, if he is consistently in the wide receiver 3-4 conversation where he's in your lineup every single week, I would not be shocked at all.
Yeah, and also, I mean, they just lost A-Chan.
And they're going to have to find more spots to get the ball in playmakers' hands.
And they've really done a good job about that.
Well, the kind of argument is now the offense goes full belly up.
I mean, you could, but it looks like the Titans.
I think they need to be passing the ball more.
And we saw early in preseason.
I've been a Chris Bell guy as well.
Like, really, really good early separator.
I think him and Washington can.
They can do different things.
So, I like this one.
Seven targets in this game without Caleb Douglas.
But, Fitzy, you've got a different name that tops your wide receiver waivers this week.
Yeah, it's Keenan Allen.
Look, it's just a gross week at wide receiver.
Like, there's no. Yeah, why'd you huff so?
You're like, it's so exhausting.
Yeah, I mean, it kind of depends what you need.
Can I ask you a question, Fitz?
Of course.
Like, because here is my hesitancy about Keenan Allen is the Darius Slayton factor.
I'm just worried that. He's immediately thrown into the mix with the rapport with Daniel Jones starting next week.
No one said that in a long time, but okay.
No, no, no.
I'm just saying.
Like, I just. It's just. I'm genuinely curious because I don't want to say, like, I was shocked, but I was a little
bit surprised that you had Keenan Allen here because I see Darius Slayton coming.
I'm just like, the only two people I want are Downs and Warrens.
So, I'm genuinely surprised by your answer.
I just wanted a little context.
It's. The context, I think, Jake, is just it all depends on what you're looking for at wide
receiver.
If you are looking purely for upside, I think. I think Chris Bell is the guy.
Like, if you're looking for. Throw a dart at a long-term solution at wide receiver that odds are probably won't work
out for you, but worth a shot.
I mean, at 4% rostered, you can probably get Chris Bell for a dollar in some. How dare be smushed the name of Chris Bell?
Come on, man.
So, I mean, I would probably, in that long-term solution category, put Chris Bell one.
And right behind him, Calum Douglas is just a stash at two.
Like, I got to throw. I got to throw a buck on now because you'll get him for a buck.
But if you're looking for purely a week four play, Jake, like Keenan Allen, because he's
going against the Commanders, who've given up, I think, 11 touchdown passes, they've
allowed multiple touchdown games too.
Granted, two pretty good wide receivers with CeeDee Lamb and Jackson Smith and Jigba, and
you know, old man Keenan Allen is not of that caliber anymore.
But he did show signs of life, finally, in week three, six catches, 63 yards, a touchdown,
nine targets.
And that was against a pretty good Houston defense.
So, I think if you're just looking for a one-week play, Keenan Allen is. You know, I'm going to have Keenan Allen ranked higher than Chris Bell in week four.
But I do think if you're looking longer-term solution, higher upside Chris Bell would be
the way to go.
Nine targets.
Yeah, nine targets, six catches, 63 in a score.
And 21% roster percentage to Chris Bell's 4%.
Some other names that are floating out here on the wide receiver market.
Mack Hollins.
Erickson's got to be happy.
Nine target games, six catches, 87 yards, only 3% rostered.
Trey Harris.
Trey Harris doing it hilariously when both of the other wide receivers are active.
He had seven targets, six for 76.
He was 4% rostered.
Malik Washington, as we talked about.
Ten targets.
He was five for 56.
And then you got a couple lower ones.
Roman Wilson had a nice day.
He was 0% rostered.
Jordan Watkins, just because every 49er is just falling 0%.
And then Juwan Jennings.
The 49ers are probably just killed to have back 5% rostered.
There's some interesting names that are floating out there.
Jake, when we're now perusing the rest of this list, who catches your eye that you would
probably be targeting, if any of these guys?
Trey Harris.
I told a lot of people in waivers, go ahead.
Last week, go ahead and drop Quentin Johnston.
He's been given every opportunity to make this happen as the number two.
And then Ladd-McConkie's out.
It's just still not happening.
Trey Harris is coming for him.
Trey Harris probably would have been more of a name going into this season, if not what
happened with the injury.
Missing most of the rookie year.
So I think that one's one to watch.
The deeper ones, I threw in the Jordan Watkins and Juwan Jennings for two things.
It's like the 49ers, uncertain.
It could be Cowan.
It could be Watkins.
I like Watkins for the downfield ability and the fit in the Shanahan offense.
At the end of the day, it might be irrelevant because it's just going to be Debo, Kittle,
and CMC.
And then we're whatever the fourth option might be.
I think it's irrelevant, but to your point.
But if I'm going to take a chance, I'm just going to take a chance on Watkins, assuming
Evans is long-term-ish, like four plus weeks like we were talking about before.
It's also probably one week.
Just to throw out, because Christian Kirk is going to be back in week five, and I know
that's eye-rolly, but he's going to dominate slot and targets and stuff like that.
I dropped Christian Kirk in Dynasty.
Let's stop.
I'm just telling you.
He's going to be out there for seven snaps and get hurt again.
Let's be real.
Okay.
So every 49er, not just Christian Kirk, every 49er, seven snaps.
But yeah, keep going.
You should resuscitate your gift meme thing from last year with CMC.
It's just sucking the life force out of everybody again this year to stay healthy.
It's happening.
The Jawan Jennings is interesting because I think that if Justin Jefferson were long-term,
like three, four, five, six weeks, I think he steps into that role.
I'm not saying I want to start him over Jordan Addison.
It's just that I think he takes that opportunity and maybe has a desperation why I was sugar
four or five.
So the Rowan Wilson one was weird as hell.
He got benched after missing that and leading to that interception.
Essentially got benched after his hot start into that game.
I don't know how mad Mike McCarthy was.
Maybe it's an Aaron Rodgers thing.
Maybe he's like, I'm not throwing him to him anymore anyway because of what just happened.
But that was a weird one because he started off hot in that game and then it was goodbye.
I don't think Rodgers likes Wilson.
He talked about targets or anything like that.
He just screams about him.
He just wants no part of it.
Same thing.
Fitzy, the same group.
I mean, Trey Harris seems to kind of be popping a little bit.
There was no Matt Collins in there.
There's a couple other interesting guy who catches your eye outside of Keenan Allen and
Chris Bell, of course.
Yeah.
Harris could maybe take over for QJ who just had another bad.
drop of a ball that should have been a first down just is not getting it done.
he's one i mean i should we should point out that in yahoo leagues i know these guys are mostly
rostered but dantavian wicks and mckay lemon are 51 percent available in yahoo league so like if
if granted they're not available in a lot of leagues and we don't know what their week three
results are because they play on monday night we're recording this on monday morning but
those would be my two top ads if they do happen to be available in your 10 person league i got
so much of that question last week with mckay lemon like again you know and maybe that's because
i preached about how like he's better outside and then it's a fine fit with jalen hirsch but
whatever that might be like i said this in the preseason said a week one said two three like i
keep saying it he is a long-term stash he is not on your bench if you're going to get impatient
and drop him in a week just find somebody else pick up wicks instead the mckay lemon situation
because he missed so much of the preseason because he's a rookie and missed so much of the preseason
he was going to be week six seven eight or beyond it's the second
half of the season play similar to jordan tyson just because of his injury so i'm with vince
absolutely stash him but don't stash him if you're just going to turn around throw him back onto the
waivers next week yeah and i agree and they also just pointing out for the he's not available in
my league crew like we get it it's over 50 but that's why we don't talk about over 50 because
uh those people remind everybody but yeah i would completely agree they would be at the tippy top
as mentioned here wide receiver is it's not flush you know there's some names but it's not flush full
of great options so
damn it fits how dare you try to help the eight teamers in addition to the 14 he's not available
in my league fits don't talk about him can i make up for it by throwing out one name real quick of
a guy who's available even in the deeper leagues uh canada mumfield who it's just puka naku could
be back in week four or he could like need surgery it seems like we're getting kind of mixed signals
from the rams there's no in between he's either fine or he's done like there's something the hell
yeah so if we find out this week that puka needs surgery
canada mumfield is interesting had the big game on sunday night against the uh broncos including
just completely flummoxing riley moss and an out and up route that went for like a 48 yard touchdown
mumfield has been davante adams protege for the rams so like it's been kind of messy as to who
the number three receiver there is technically i know a lot of people want to make it terrence
ferguson but um i think it's mumfield and i think he might have some potential value if we get a
long-term absence for
puka all right give me uh let's do a top five let's do a top five on the position and you can
add in mumfield if you've got him there jake but fitzy why don't you start us off top five wide
receivers you've got keenan allen at one it sounds like you got chris bell at two who are the other
three that you're going to add into your top priority all right i'll leave out the eagles so
it's not to offend people i'll say keenan allen chris bell caleb douglas and maybe i'll go
and wanda robinson just because he showed signs of life and i think maybe he needed a couple games
to get in sync with with tate or not with tate's with cam ward i was looking i feel like i want to
look here i thought robinson's roster percentage was too high 47 yeah 47 i guess he's 62 on yahoo
so all right so never mind him i'll i'll say you know rashad bateman like i i know he's the number
two but maybe this the number two is the number two i think he's the number two i think he's the
the raven's offense looks like it's clicking i think maybe it can support two receivers although
bateman is kind of like an end of the roster guy yeah all right jake what's your top five we know
chris bell's number one uh so jordan addison number one i just the first thing i did when
the injury happened i looked at addison i was like oh yeah 78 is probably not gonna fly you
because it's 73 okay yeah i don't know if he dropped i was gonna say that'd be insane if he
dropped for whatever reason yeah and by the way you're playing your eight team league like yeah
25.6 on yahoo but yeah your 18 leagues are like flush and you guys are awesome but we got to talk
deeper so not addison and not you know chris bell number one i like i thought like caleb douglas
sure i agree with number two i would actually go to trey harris then keenan allen and then for the
final flyer after that nobody i like juwan jennings just because like we don't know right now justin
jefferson if it's yeah i mean if it's even three weeks just juwan jennings will be like a wide
four touchdown reliant but i mean it could just be a situation where he and addison are both good
and tg hoxon takes a step back so i think a chance on that we do also have like the baker mayfield is
now two to four weeks according like while we're doing this too oh yeah so yeah which is super
great injuries are it's going great it's going great everybody all right uh those are running
back and wide receivers we still are we're going to do a little keeper cut we got to look at the
top streamers at the other positions and then what does the top five overall look like with
some fab numbers well we're going to do that but you can take the guesswork out of the top five

slash plan let's do a little uh keeper cut we'll kind of burn through these and we'll talk about
some of our top streamers i had put this on the injury makes it weird but you know what let's hold
to it there are plenty of leagues where people don't have any ir spots and any injury spots or
guess what are full with it are we in a space where travis achan who's 97 percent own can be
cut regardless even of the injury but put the injury together if you would like here
and knowing like when uh braylon allen or ollie or gordon is available here
jake we'll start with you keeper cut travis achan with all of those little caveats uh
knowing there's an injury and knowing that those guys are available would you keep or cut them
i mean it's tough because we don't know hall either so like if we had the same exact timeline
and at chen is what i'm going to call them they're like although we might get we don't have to worry
about it now because a chan is actually out for the season so no one ever talked about it anymore
i know there's no confusion anymore uh like if we knew say four weeks for both because that like he
he grabbed his own hamstring like i'm almost leaning to the etch and might be worse than
than breeze hall but all that being said if it was the same exact timeline i'd make the swap
uh if there's no ir if there's ir there's no way on earth that i'm dropping etching like he finally
started looking good they finally started turning back to him like camara was getting very few
touches and it's like okay patience paid off you might have only an rb2 but your patience paid off
so i don't want to drop them but
like again you're talking about benches without irs which is just insane to me
it was just like i mean like it's not so many people double penalizing people
stop it please i don't have irs in my league jake i don't know that guy's not available
yeah like make the tough decisions get the hell out of there with that noise i don't want to take
up the entire show you can come at me for after that fitzy same thing yeah so i think you could
drop a chan in shallow leagues because even like the role has not been what we had been
hoped he's basically a committee back even if he were to come back two weeks from now
did he is the tornado of chaos all three of us said his name differently i just want to point
out i know there's someone out there that heard all three of us said it in a completely different
that's why because you're never confused with mine at chen you there's only one player that
could possibly be at chen you know i mean everybody is committed to hn because it just
like devon hm but i still don't believe him that's why i'm calling him great great you're
from the area you wanted to go with the cajuns pronunciation it's at chen not i'm over i'm
over caring about it uh brian are you over caring about brian thomas 83 percent own no i still have
his football behind me oh this pays me so much keep her cut say it goodbye bye-bye see he's
he's quentin johnston he's behind jacoby myers he's not even like neck and neck he's like josh
cameron started taking snaps from him yep cameron i think either played more snaps or ran more routes
than btj that's a
this is a group cut right yes if you were forced to roster marvin harrison or brian thomas who
would you brian who would you live with brian thomas brian thomas marvin harrison quentin
johnson at the bottom okay and that's only the hope that marvin harrison and brian thomas find
new teams and quentin johnson was the next name up here 71 roster jake was you already he was
tossed him away last week yeah well just uh and fitzy were cutting okay perfect he's out how about
running backs in here about tyler algier a lot of jeremiah love no hold hold him yeah he's tough
yeah he's in the next tier behind the brian robinsons of the world but like if jeremiah
jeremiah love already got hurt like we're gonna like get rb2 value from algier if anything were
to happen again okay let's make it worse 72 percent marshawn lloyd fitzy yeah i mean a
committee back behind the worst offensive line in the league see ya 72 percent on yahoo and again
for people understanding why i bring up some of these names because of
the roster percentage 72 percent are still holding on to marshawn lloyd you agree those numbers it'll
be 27 a week from now exactly and we're uh jake you're cutting yeah i had him and caleb johnson
in my mid rb 30s 30 to 40 range and that was still too high for both of them uh these three i don't
know which one of you added them but i like the names uh justin herbert justin herbert has not
been living up to the high hopes this is kind of that back-end quarterback range i definitely think
he's moved himself from like he's your weekly start he's your weekly start he's your weekly start
to now you're looking at quarterback planning to maybe now he's just not part of the plan
fitzy keep her cut justin herbert
If you can't afford to carry two quarterbacks, he plays Seattle and Denver the next two weeks.
I would just cut him.
Jake?
You don't have to cut him if you listen to me because you don't have him on any of your damn teams.
I was wrong on some things.
Colson Loveland, by the way, as being the number two tight end.
But there was one thing I definitely wasn't wrong, and that was Justin Herbert was way too high in everybody's rankings.
I was never Justin Herbert.
This last one, Chris Godwin.
There's an interesting name that pops up here.
So it definitely was in one of your minds.
Fitzy, keep or cut Chris Godwin.
Yeah, Fitz put those in there.
Yeah, barely doing anything, 40 or fewer yards in his first three games, and now he's got to play with Jalen Daniels for two to four weeks.
No thanks.
You can just lose him.
You're not missing out on anything.
Did you see how much he hated saying that, Jalen Daniels?
Man, you hate Jalen Daniels.
What's wrong with Jalen Daniels, dude?
Nothing wrong, but do you want to start an undrafted rookie free agent quarterback?
Yeah.
Watch him run more than Malik Wills does now, though.
That would be funny.
But yeah, Chris Godwin was floor.
He was floor, floor, floor, floor, floor.
But I mean, what do you need a floor?
He's the one I should have argued against instead of Jacoby Myers and why you were drafting him in the preseason.
Keep or cut.
Those are some big ones.
You guys can drop in your comments below.
We are watching and listening.
You can let us know if there's one you completely disagree with.
I think HM, Brian Thomas, Chris Godwin, those are probably the most controversial of them.
A lot of the others are probably easy moves.
That takes us to the top streamers.
We have been so hyper-focused on wide receivers and running backs.
I will say, because of our format, we've gone this long without talking about a very important player who is going to be important to waivers.
And I think, yeah, he does make the top five of both of your lists because he comes in at tight end.
So, Fitzy, why don't you kick us off here?
You're going to give us the whole thing.
The quarterback, the tight end, the defense, and the kicker that you like.
But everybody knows what's coming here because the tight end that you guys both agree on, that's one of the bigger plays for this week.
I'll just run through real quick.
Daniel Jones is my top streaming quarterback just because I like them.
Matchup with Washington, which has allowed 11 touchdown passes to quarterback Sam Darnold just threw 379 yards, four touchdowns against Washington.
Kenyon Sadiq, the top guy, for sure.
I'll let Jake talk more about him, but we don't know what the Garrett Wilson got hurt at the end of the game.
I heard maybe it's minor, but we've got Anna Mitchell out with a finger injury.
It just seems like Sadiq is really involved.
Granted, this was against a Lions defense that has given up touchdowns to six different.
Tight ends so far this season, but Sadiq looked the part.
He looked amazing on Sunday.
If you can't get him, Darren Waller, who with a Jalen Coker long-term absence coming, I think Waller is more than just the red zone guy coming up.
He had eight targets on Sunday, and that was the tide for the most he has had since coming out of retirement in 2025.
Streaming defense, they didn't look good last Thursday night, but the Green Bay Packers, because they're going against Jalen Daniels,
who is a great guy.
He took his first snaps in the waning moments of the Buccaneers' loss on Sunday.
And then streaming kickers, Matt Gay.
Shh, don't tell anyone the Raiders are 3-0, and they've scored at least 26 points in all three of their games,
and Matt Gay has not missed a kick yet, 7-7 on field goals.
And then Tyler Bass, just your high floor, still available in like 75% of Yahoo! leagues.
The kicker for the Bills.
You know he's going to get like three extra points minimum every week.
I think Bass has made every single episode.
We've done this on the streaming option, so go pick him up.
All right, Jake, you can give us your quarterback and your defense.
Just burn through that real quick, because I know that's not the big topic here, and then let's talk about Sadiq.
Yeah, sorry, I zoned out.
I didn't even know what you guys were talking about at the end there.
So really what it comes down to, if available, C.J. Stroud.
I know he's over 50, but he's barely over 50.
Goes against the Cowboys, which, similar to my touchdown flagpan double touchdown call from two weeks ago,
going against the Giants for Devontae Adams, the Cowboys just ran into the same thing.
The Giants ran into where corners were dropping left and right, and they have nobody left at this point.
Like, that secondary is just ripe for the picking.
So if C.J. Stroud is out there and probably gets Nico Collins back, we think, he would be my top.
But if not, Jacoby Brissett, because who does he face?
Oh, the Giants secondary and what's left.
And also, Brian Burns just got lost for the season for a torn ACL.
So that Giants defense went from week one being like, oh, wow, they might actually have something put together here,
to they don't have anybody left at this point, except for the young players.
They don't have anybody left at this point, except for the young players.
So tight end, yeah, Kenyon Sadiq.
The interesting thing was he wasn't quite 60% of the routes.
I mentioned week one that he was coming for Mason Taylor, and we definitely saw that happen.
It really comes down to Adonai Mitchell.
By the way, if it's Garrett Wilson concussion, he came back into the game.
That's what it was.
So he should be okay.
But Adonai Mitchell with the thumb wrap or whatever it is, if Mitchell's back out there,
I would caution, do not go bonkers on Sadiq.
It's a lot of fun.
He is a very talented rookie.
This is why they drafted him.
But, you know, with Mitchell back on the field, you're going to get opportunities.
And he's lost.
So the ceiling will be fluctuating.
If there is no Mitchell, I think he'd be in the tight end one fringe conversation.
And then defenses, Cardinals, going back to that game against the Giants,
Cardinals defense has shown flashes.
They get Jameis Winston.
They get Jameis Winston with, like, that defense.
They're not going to be able to probably keep the Cardinals off the field.
And then I know you're picking on the Commander's pass defense for very good reason, Fitz.
But even so, against your streaming quarterback, that run defense,
this is for the rank show.
Seek preview.
I was wrong about Jadarian Price.
Not only because coming back, he was in a time, well, committee,
is I'm going to give some credit to that Commander's run defense.
That's why everybody's picking on their pass defenses, because that's where you get them.
So if they get after Daniel Jones, Daniel Jones not running in that game,
and you get some turnover potential, I think the Commanders are risky.
But we are talking streaming defenses.
Okay.
That's going to lead us to the final set here, which is the top overall waivers for the week.
So what I'd like is you guys give me your top five.
And if you could throw a little fastball.
Fab number percentage.
Most of these guys you've talked about.
And Jake, we'll let you kick it off here.
So we've got your top two, which I think you've mentioned.
It's Braylon Allen, Ollie Gordon.
And I think you've mentioned the percentages were, what was it?
I forget now.
So you rerun those percentages.
I said I try to live in the teens.
You're probably going to have to go 20 to 30 if you're needy on both of them.
And maybe sneak through a Jalen Wright.
That didn't make the list, but would have.
Like if, well, we'll get to number five.
Number three for me is Chris Bell.
I don't know.
This is a weird one.
You know your league.
This is why I don't love Fab.
I know we give them.
I don't give it to everybody.
But it's like, you know your league better.
As Fitz said, how low his roster ship percentage is, you might be able to sneak him through
for four or five, six bucks.
But like I know in my leagues, if he was still out there, like I'd have to go 15, 20% because
it's a thinner waiver wire.
And I know people get excited and pay attention to rookies.
So it comes down to that.
I just try to live in the single digits.
Sadiq, I think actually is going to have to go for more than Chris Bell because I think
everybody's going to be excited about the rookie and the opportunities.
He would be fourth again, depending.
If I knew Mitch was going to be fourth, I would be fourth.
If Mitchell was out for four weeks, I would leapfrog Sadiq probably pushing number two
on this list, depending if you need running back.
And then lastly, Alvin Kamara, like just because people need running backs.
Fitzy, your top five, Braylon Allen at the tippy top for you.
But who else do you have?
Almost exactly the same.
Yeah, I think you guys are pretty dang close.
And then throw those percentages back on.
Braylon Allen, 15 to 30%.
Ollie Gordon from about, I don't know, 12 to maybe 22, 23%.
Kenyon Sadiq, kind of.
I don't want to pay more than, I don't want to pay double digits.
Goes seven to nine and also seven to nine for Jalen Wright.
That's pretty close.
I could argue either way.
And Alvin Kamara finally at about, I don't know, five to eight bucks.
Okay.
So that's your general space.
Hey.
Good news on the injury front before we get out of here.
I don't expect him for week four, but I think this is at least promising.
All the coke has, he's questionable for week four.
So there you go.
So maybe he only misses like one week.
We need some positivity before we get out of here.
This is very injury heavy.
It's, I mean, as it usually is.
All right, there you go.
That is the top five.
All the positional streamers, everything in between should get you guys set for this coming week's waivers.

Podcast Summary
Key Points:
Two major running back injuries—Devon Aitian and Brees Hall—create uncertainty in fantasy football lineup decisions, with Braylon Allen and Olly Gordon emerging as top waiver targets.
Braylon Allen is favored for his talent, role in a stronger Jets offense, and potential increased workload due to injuries, while Olly Gordon remains a lower-impact option in a weak Dolphins offense.
Jalen Wright is seen as a stronger value than Gordon due to his recent availability and potential to share the backfield role, especially if Aitian or Hall face long-term setbacks.
Both analysts agree on targeting Braylon Allen and Jalen Wright in waivers, with percentages ranging from 15–30% for Allen and 7–15% for Wright, emphasizing risk management over overestimating backfield production.
Alvin Kamara is considered a high-ownership, high-risk target due to Travis Etienne’s injury, but his inefficiency in touches makes him less reliable despite volume.
Kendra Miller is identified as a low-ownership, high-potential value due to recent return from injury and opportunity under reduced competition.
Wide receiver depth is highlighted with Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas as top targets, especially with Bell’s 4% ownership and 9 targets, offering upside despite low roster rates.
Kenyon Sadiq is a strong streaming tight end pick due to his performance against a weak defense, though his value fluctuates with Garrett Wilson’s return or injury.

FAQs
Braylon Allen is favored as the top running back due to his stronger talent, larger role in the Jets' offense, and more consistent production. However, if Brees Hall is out for a longer duration, Ollie Gordon may become more valuable due to increased workload and potential for a larger share of touches.
Both players are strong targets, but Braylon Allen is more likely to be a consistent fantasy asset given his role and performance. Burning your number one waiver on either is recommended, especially if you're in a league where running back depth is limited.
Braylon Allen is expected to be targeted at 15% to 30% in fantasy leagues, with higher percentages if the injury timeline for Brees Hall extends beyond a short period.
Ollie Gordon has limited upside due to a lack of consistent production and a thin offense, but he may become valuable if injuries force a shift in the Miami backfield, especially if Jalen Wright is sidelined.
Jalen Wright is a low-ownership, high-risk option with potential value if either Brees Hall or Ollie Gordon is out for an extended period. He could be a smart addition if you're looking for a mid-tier running back with depth chart flexibility.
Chris Bell is a high-upside, low-ownership option with 4% rostered, especially if he returns to full health. Keenan Allen is a safer one-week play against a weak defense, though his long-term value is limited.
