Boy Story IX | Son of a Boy Dad #414

The podcast blends product promotion with deep, personal storytelling. It highlights the Chevrolet Equinox as a practical and stylish vehicle suitable for daily commutes and weekend adventures, emphasizing its cargo space and tech features. A key segment introduces a new sweet tea drink made with real tea and vodka, which supports dog rescues through a $1 million donation goal by 2026. The conversation then shifts to personal narratives, including the hosts’ plans to move to Chicago, childhood traumas such as being nearly kidnapped and a home bomb, and vivid memories of a fall leaf-collecting trip with their mother. The discussion explores emotional themes of aging, identity, and generational disconnect, touching on substance use, the decline of traditional rap culture, and the rise of internet-driven, drug-affected speech patterns. The hosts also reflect on the changing landscape of music, noting a shift from authentic, energetic rap to more performative, opioid-influenced styles. Amid these themes, there’s humor in observations about modern social behavior, such as Gen Z’s nonchalant speech and generational judgment. The episode concludes with lighthearted commentary on fashion trends and the nostalgic admiration for older men’s style, underscoring a broader exploration of memory, identity, and the passage of time.

Today's episode is presented by our partners at Chase Sapphire Preferred. One thing Ron and I can agree on is that a lot of our spending tends to revolve around food and travel. Whether we're trying out a new restaurant, ordering groceries or booking a trip, those purchases add up. That's one reason the Chase Sapphire Preferred card stands out. Card members can earn up to three x points on online groceries, dining, gas stations and EV charging. Plus, five x points on travel through Chase Travel. Basically, it rewards a lot of the things that I'm already spending money on anyway. To learn more about the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, go to chase.com/safire-preferred. Well, today it's June 16th and we are here live from Chicago with KB Nick and Rudy. Thanks. How are we doing, fellas? Really good. Really good. Thank you for having us. Of course, glad as we always start when we have these crossover episodes, KB tells us a story. KB, you had a story. Was there a story coming? Is there a story? You said you were going to make it into a story. What did I say? I forget. I forget as well. I'm usually pretty good at remembering and I also forget. Well, while you're thinking about that story, I think this would be the right time to tell the world that we have decided we're all moving to Chicago. Yeah. That's huge. Yeah. I don't know about that. It's too awesome. How about that? This is big. I thought that they'd be more excited. Honestly, Francis. I don't know. I knew this was coming. I thought people would be super jacked up about this. Chicago is nice, but I don't know if I'm going to move. Oh, so it's just me and Ron that I think it's just going to be you guys and that will be the end of boy dad. I'll be remote. You tend to my kids. Will you tend to my seat? Yeah. Yeah, definitely. I can stop by when needed. You're going to be there all the time. You can't leave out milk for them to leave out a bowl of milk for them to tap up. They don't have rough tongues. There's probably one person that believed that announcement. Now there's live. Yeah. I wonder. Crest fallen. We are going to the Cubs game tonight. The cubes. We are. Oh my god. Chicago cubes. Nice. Can't wait. Who they playing? Rockies. I love the Rockies, man. Yes. They're watching all of you. They're asking tonight. Yeah. Watching all of you. Big fan. But yeah. Aren't they like the worst team that's ever existed? The Rockies. Cubs are bad right now too. I think the Red Sox are really bad. Red Sox are bad too. I did. The year that they were actually good though, I did get to go to a World Series game. That was pretty sick. It was like the mad holiday year when he slid into first against San Diego for a while. I've never been to a meaningful game. They got their shit pumped by the Red Sox. Yeah. For what baseball or just in general, in general, I don't think there's a new board game facility that opened actually very close to your apartment. It's called third space from the sun. Nice. And I think that you'd I think that you'd like it to have a play board games there. It's a board game bar. It's like a nut. It's not a bar at all. It's just board games. I like that. It's pure. I think that you'd fucking love it. That board gaming's gone down a ton since I've moved here. That's what the city will do to you. I know. Strip all your joy. Right. Man, I'm just a fucking husk. It would be the best drug to do with board games. Probably heroin. Yeah. I mean, that's the that's the answer for any question. What's the best drug to do blind heroin? The one that I'm bored is a pillow. Yeah. Yeah. I'll take the drug that makes it feel like you're orgasmic constantly under a warm blanket. It makes. Yeah. That'll improve anything. The one that makes being homeless tolerable. Yeah. Volunteer. Yeah. It's just a choice. House with no heroin or streets with heroin. It's unanimous. Yeah. I mean, freedom is basically the same thing. Yeah. You're not ripping the grader. Are you off it? No. Because it did not work for me. And I reasoned that some people have an opioid brain. Yeah. Yeah. Because I've tried oxys too in the past and I was like, oh, this sucks. Yeah. But something and then like the people I was with loved it. Really? And they're like, they're like the, they're like, I like this a little too much. Really? The creative? Yeah. The Pittsburgh boys. Yeah. It's, I think it is. This is the best thing. I don't know what it is, or if it's the diet or something, something, yeah. They love it. In the air. Yeah. It's the hills too. I think it's so crazy that they just sell that shit just everywhere. Cradle? Oh, they're selling like new shit at gas stations. Yeah. Like, I want to like get a lawsuit. There's some, what is there? There's some new drug that they're selling at gas stations. What's it called? It's like 7-0. Yeah. Yeah. It's just like Cradle mixed with something else. Cova? Cova? It's like a new stronger. Yeah. But it's, yeah. Finally, it's really bad. Did you guys watch The Lamar Odom untold? Yeah. It was great. And how, when he, when he, when they found him unconscious at the bunny ranch in outside of Vegas, they, like, tested his blood and he had taken like 14 times the recommended dose of gas station bone oil. Yeah. It was all serenotid. Yeah. But he had like six horn attacks, isn't it? Like 14 times like the size of a regular human. True. Maybe that was his logic. That's a lot of dick to keep. But dude, like. It's true. Those ladies at the bunny ranch are so lucky that he died for a second, because he would have fucked them. So. Oh, my God. They're probably thrilled. Yeah. Oh, Lamar's dad. Oh, he's back. Oh. Oh. Thank God. We're going to bring out the paddles and they're like, no, no, no, no, please wait. Think about what you're doing. The documentary is pretty nuts. I didn't realize all of like the Kardashian stuff as well. Like, I didn't know any of that. It makes Courtney look good. It makes her look very good. I mean, I was like name 19, like, fully just taking care of this grown man. I know who's cheating on her relentlessly and she's like monitoring who can actually come in and out of the hospital room to, yeah, sort of for publicity sick. Yeah. She had to like go to the hotel rooms and like clean up. Yeah. Covering his gigantic track. Massive. He was like free basing fucking coke or whatever. Like she said, she would come in there be like tin foil everywhere. He was like a real drug addict. Oh, yeah. Big time. If I see the guys who like, they're like, they preach like a sober lifestyle, but they talk about how they're a reformed coke addict. And all of their stories make their coke experience sound awesome as hell. Yeah, yeah. Dude, I was fucking all of my secretaries. Yeah. I would wake up 99 apples, three lines of coke, go to work, fuck three of my co-workers. Do more coke in the bathroom, drink more liquor in the bathroom, go home, fuck a super model. It's like, no, you didn't, you're just a loser and you're still on drugs. The way that you're telling these stories, my life was a constant party. That is how they describe it. It's never like they hit a devastating low. It's just like the highs were too high. No, the rock bottom is tired of pussy. Yeah. Yeah. And there's my head and you coke around the clock and just so I can get my dick hard and fuck. 22 year old co-workers non-stop, and he's like tweaking while he's telling the story. It's one specific guy I'm thinking of. There's a couple guys that I've seen like that. Cause there's the one guy who I think is in, maybe he's tweaking or maybe he's in withdrawal. Like he is like, was maybe an alcoholic or something, but he tells the stories and the story seems so fucking out. It's all wolf of washers shit. Oh, I thought you're gonna talk about the dude that does the videos where he's like Reenacting his alcohol love that guy's he like himself the shit Yeah, it's like him sneaking it into like his eggs. It was like yeah It's like an orange peel. Yeah Yeah, he's a sink and it will be like do like like the smug point at the caption's like guess where I snuck the booze They showed his plate and he like lifts an egg and it's like a fucking shooter under the fucking sun It wasn't it was in the sink It was like he would the night before he would pour alcohol into cups Yeah, in the sink so when he would go to the sink in the morning and like just drink something out of the cup There would be like pre-planted booze in there to get rid of the shakes. That's bud. I was gonna say it was genius Yeah, really smart. Oh, I think he got a good. Yeah, they're 10 years in him Yes, dude, you could tell with his brain. He was very sander. He was still sharp You still have so many good ideas Don't waste it. What are you gonna do with all these hiding spots? It's gonna go to waste being that addicted to booze that where you only see things as hiding spots for booze Yeah, that's gotta be tough Just amputating a leg being like I could fit so much booze in here. I think of all the shots that could fit in there Kyle, what's your sobriety like right now? What's your spirit I just went to a roof is to soul concert and and did a MDMA for the first time in several years and experienced what I would call an ego ascension I was I can't live I was in the crowd completely consumed by my own identity I was like envying my perceivers. I was like I was like turning around to face like the back of the audience I legitimately thought people were snapping photos of me. I felt like a vulture headline Our 33 spotted with his fiance moving unnaturally Dude, I felt like the fucking man. I felt like all eyes were on me And I was like taking it all in. I legitimately thought fans were like it was black I was like posing for dudes who just do soul plays background music at Kyle Bauer I was like I wish I could see myself Instead of these dudes instead of Tyrone Lundquist Fucking John you were jealous of everybody. I was yeah, I envied my perceivers Holy shit. This is good I paid the man disastrous disastrous inverse of a come down. Oh What's it called the the the post day Molly like what is that called? There's a name for that Come down. I don't know. I thought there was like a the day after like the hangover from doing Molly or whatever Well, I had that. Yeah, I was like panicking. I got to do my chores I started booking flights a serotonin dead that's a serotonin syndrome is like this rare thing that people try to warn you about but like No one really gets you have to really abuse it My roommate in college told me he took he took Molly every day for three months. Oh Do you always hear stories? It's not addictive, but You take it for the first time. It's so good that you want to keep doing it. I'm I'm of the fact if something feels that good It's probably addictive. It's worse than a dick could you have taken the hair of the dog of Molly and had like a little taste of it But the next day to like a bait that feeling or like what do they mean is delaying the debt that you got? So you'll pay that you're paying the debt one way or another tremendously sad That's how I was booking is it like what I've never done it So is it like when you wake up the next morning like are you still like wow last night was fun as fuck or you more so just no It's I was like an absence in your brain like you can feel the physical void like which is ironic. Yeah those book and flights and I forgot to set the the birth year Correctly to 1993. Oh, yeah, so I left it at 2026 and I got a notification from United It was like passenger Kyle Bauer is under two years old Would you like to select the infant and seat option infant and lap option for it I mean, I got tremendously sad picturing two-year-old me or like baby me in my own lap And I visual so vivid like I could see my baby self in my own lap And I was like almost like I wanted it to start crying so I could comfort it But it it was just like emotionally paralyzed like Casey Affleck and Manchester by the sea. Yeah, and it just looked at me with like the saddest eyes I can't it was like I can't beat it I know and you'll never be able to raise me to be anything more than just a slightly different version of yourself Dude that sounds like a pretty rough morning. This is a crazy 48 hours. I mean, that's like the ultimate high and low of all time Yeah, so strange double outer body sort of experiences It's the way it said passenger Kyle Bauer is under two years old freak me out It's a wake up call passenger passenger is a deep word. Yeah, that would be a but it didn't happen like that was just all in your head, right? But what didn't you be able to like this? Were you not able to fall? Thanks movie where he gets like transformed like some fans. Wait, it's Kyle you were joking, right? You'd be able to be like well, I'm not - I'm not under - I wasn't completely consumed by that got it. It was more of a thought like I never really pictured myself as a baby I don't like looking at baby pictures of me. It's like feels like someone else Yeah, really I feel like I'm just like that's me as a child There's a there's a specific memory from my childhood that if I allow myself to like access it It brings me to deep sadness and it's a happy memory. Well, I'd like to hear that I get those two. Yeah. I find myself chasing those a little bit really why yeah, I've been talking to my mom more of asking about just stories and it makes me sad every time but I keep doing it We were talking about yesterday. We had we had big cat on the podcast and he was talking about leash kids. Oh, yeah, it was The worst that was that was one of the worst days of my life was the leash because you got lost or was it after you got lost? There's a loss. He was kidnapped. No, I was attempted to be kidnapped Somebody tried to pull me out of a shopping cart when I was a kid and that fucked up my mom And then somebody bombed our house when I was a kid bombed. Yeah, my dad was a city manager and fired somebody and he Fucking bombed our he built a bomb and like blew up our garage door and it was right above my room So my mom was always a helicopter mom after that, but my leash was when I was in seventh grade, which I didn't like Yeah, I don't think I told you like this serious leash. It was really like a leash for like a doberman. It was wrist arrest It was like it was like it was like it was like pastel blue and it was probably about four feet Not terrible I had like pubes Yeah, you were teen But you were also almost taken and blown up. So I do understand. Yeah, my mom has the right to be Yeah, you were like Harry Potter as a child a lot of very very yes. I mean we're coming for you. You ain't gonna stop a bomb No, yeah, that's true. You get two for one then. Yeah, you're right. It's a perfect person to bomb You were late on this story telling it. I know extremely traumatic Game bombed no one gets bombed. Where are you from Lebanon? Yeah, right. Yeah No, it was like I was like a homemade kind of thing this guy did Fucked up our garage door. I remember. Was it a good bomber? It sounds like kind of a trash bomb. It was slowed Just loud a flashbang. Mm-hmm loud ass, but I mean I'd imagine and that guy took a step back I said he came back and he's put a bunch of eggs in RAC, which is like such a step back from the bomb He's probably was like I'm not prepared for Yeah, he went back he went back he went back to what he knows about I got all fuck I must kill that baby Let's wait for her house Bomb might have been a little mom This is in me He probably saw the bomb barely get through the garage door and was like yeah, I don't I don't know what I'm doing Yeah, I tried my hardest on that and I asked maybe I am a failure Maybe I should have been fired What was your super happy memory Francis that brings you to tears? I'd like to cry. Oh yeah Well, there was an assignment that we had I remember in school which was to bring in Four leaves from four different species of tree and it was in the fall and Obviously in New England we have really beautiful foliage and I remember walking up to this field with my mom and we had these baskets and we were collecting Different leaves and I can smell it. I can see it. I can feel the temperature. I can feel my mom helping me And when I think about that memory, it makes me feel very old and that the passage of time is happening far too quickly. Yeah, that's been the speed of time has been really fucking the first thing I think about every morning for like the past year is me dying. Oh, hate it. Yeah. Yeah, I get it before bed. I tried to create them. I need I need some great. I need some great. I bring some life back into you. Mm hmm. Make up in the morning. Don't think about a thing. Mm hmm. Just where's the great amount? I don't think about me dying. I think about my parents dying. Yeah. That's far that's far sadder. Yeah. What about you dying? No, no, change topics. Dude, I'm so glad this is your episode. There needs to be like a social media page that gives updates of like aging notable people who are doing very well health wise. Mm hmm. Yeah, because all you hear about is like the 76 year old celebrity who died. Yeah, like Rob Riggle, it is once again cancer free. Yeah, Rob Riggle is that his gene hack man's corpse found riddled with fucking rotting dog food. Yeah, dogs were passing away. Yeah, feeding them. Right, that whole story was like the most. Yeah, I know this. Just the actor. Yeah. Uh, he his, he and his, I think his wife were found passed away, but like well after they had passed away, was their dogs had their dogs had also died because nobody fed them. Yeah. I remember hearing about that. It's crazy. Yeah. And he was, uh, he had dementia and like had no idea what was going, you know, yeah, it's pretty brutal. That stuff going on there, not a good situation. Fuck. But yeah, we need more positive headlines like Ron has begun stretching. That's nice. Ron's been stretching. Yeah. But I don't know what what it's doing, necessarily, but it's pretty my back feel better where you appreciate you going through it. You were, you had a few years of just in pain. A terrible back. I was going to, I was going to go to oxy cotton. Whoa. Mm-hmm. The hell's wrong with you. It feels so good. Yeah. Ron's a big opioid guy. I'd like bold client. I'd like to be, but I just know I don't have an addictive personality. So is that why you smoked weed every day for a decade. Damn. Sass from the pedestal. Cali. Oh, my God. Do you guys like each other? Yeah. Of course. There's riffing. I'm just breaking my balls and razz on oxy. I can't razz about oxy addiction. My balls up a little bit. Yeah, that was unnecessary. No, it's okay. It's like to keep my boys honest. You have to. You have to. And I fucking I love it. And you're and that's coming from an addict. Oh, come on now. That's why you had the quit drinking because you found yourself. Did you consider yourself an alcoholic, Sass? No, like I don't think I didn't consider myself as like, you know, like fucking I can't put down the bottle or anything like that. But I just knew like I can't drink and not get fucking hammered. But you go out and have like six cores lights. No, I'll go out and have like I feel like the majority of you're talking about was like, you just couldn't handle the pooping anymore. We all the pooping definitely was a factor. That's kind of a factor. Everything. Have you been to a gastro? No. Yeah. But I had been eating a lot more fiber and it's been helping a lot. So that's good. Oh, I have some husk upstairs in the studio. If you want to get some of that. Oh, my God. Yeah. It's helping. Dude, you wouldn't even touch the veg that we got last night. You barely had any of the things because there was like a fucking ball of green mud on the bottom of it. No, it's a sauce sauce. Yeah. It was a bite delicious. Was it pesto? It's still beautiful. I hate everything. Everything I to be honest, most of the stuff that we ate was delicious was really good. But it wasn't the most visually appealing, you know, like you'd be like, I'm not really sure what this is. Harry Harry wouldn't have. And either of the desserts, we had a beautiful slice of cheesecake and this sort of strawberry rhubarb meringue situation. He's like, yeah, I'm good. Then he went home and ate the gummy bears from the mini bar. What's wrong with that? I said, I literally said I was going to do that while we were there. I was like, yeah, I'm going to have the gum. I'm going to have the candy. But you said you're going to have candy. I said, yes. But why are you skipping? Why are you skipping the gourmet dessert? Yeah, I don't really live. That stuff doesn't really do it for me. So I'm the same way. Yeah, I would rather have nerds gummy clusters in a piece of pie. Yeah, I would rather them bring out a tray of candy. So Harry's credit, he was a little bit more adventurous with his eating last night. In fact, Ron and I both ordered cocktails and Harry tried a little sip of both of them. And then like he had one sip and we had to like, they hold it away from him. Yeah, the whole they were, I was, she was like the exorcist. I was levitating above the booth. How did it taste good? Ah, they were both very tasty. Yeah, but you didn't like you liked you didn't like yours mine. I like rounds more. Yeah, but you said you didn't like a mess cow and he yeah, and he said it was tequila. And we had him horse it in there for you. But I mean, I had them. We're talking micro sip. What's a micro sip? Isn't this sip of my touch in the tongue in microchoke? Not what you boys are drinking. You wet his lips and then licked them. Exactly. Yeah. You had a bigger sip of mine. You trusted mine more. I saw the white number. I don't think so now. I think it's pretty equals this. I think you did trust mine. No. I think so. I think I trusted them both. I didn't think you had drugged them. I saw the movement of your Adam's apple of mine. Hey, son of a boy ad listeners. We'll be right back. But first, a quick message from one of our partners. Did you go, did you get a workout in this morning? No. I will later. Yeah. We got to later on before the Cubs game. Yeah. I hit it hard yesterday. I can, and I can tell. You guys all look like like that you've evolved into dudes like I wouldn't step to. No, no chance. Like in the past. All of us. You were never like bitch made presenting, but I don't, that's the way you look, dress in like carry yourself. I'm like, these guys in the past. I would have been like, oh, I might go chill with those guys. See what they're about now. It's like, I wouldn't step to you. Genuinely intimidated by you three. Come on. No. So that's included now. That's crazy. Francis, do you know, like before I text you, I like write it out pen and paper. I can't fuck this up. Long hand. I cannot fuck it up. You had such a nice text exchange left a few days ago. It was nice. And guess what? There's like crumpled paper in my garbage, where you could reread them. Oh my god. That's the silliest dude. I use like a dip pen. I changed nibs for you, Francis. Well, step two like brawl. Are you talking about brawling? No, just like a coach like, yeah. Cause you said chill with that first, but then step, I think of step two being like, fuck no, not not like if there was an open seat at the bar and you guys were there. I would stand. Yeah. I wouldn't want to encroach on your session. No way. We definitely overlapped at dinner last night though. And people were, there it is. People were looking at us. People were, we're siding. I really don't like that. Cause they, yes, you didn't even notice. No, I was paying 10. I mean, everyone in there was a thousand years old. No wonder they were siding. We was like, Francis was like, where pants? It's a nice place. It was the nicest place. I bet I wore this exact outfit. It was the nicest place I've ever been ever. We were the only ones in there without suits on. You guys live in New York City? I didn't know we were going to the fucking, I don't know, even know what it was to be. I can't describe it. I can't describe it. I didn't know how nice it was until I got there. Yeah, because I, I just thought it was like a state house. Mook was going to come and he would have removed him. No, it was so good that Mook didn't come. He would have moved by machinery. Like a claw machine. Pretty advanced tech. We go out to dinner with Mook and he just, it's disgusting. The average price of an outfit, think of it, his, his, his, his is free every time. That's negative. I think they pay him. He's in low catch mode. His clothing is. He pulls up to the vats and like, yeah, we went to the vats. I buy him clothes, too. I bought him a really. - Yeah, he has it. - He brings it out. He wears it out. - No, he wears it. - No, he wears it in an even hoodie. - Yeah. (laughing) - Yeah. - What was his excuse that he couldn't, why couldn't he come? - Well he called me and he was still at the office and he was doing shit and then I was like, and then he said he didn't have pants. - He said, "I don't have pants at the office." - Yeah, I mean look, I walked in and I was like, we're just gonna be three now, not four, because one of our four didn't have the right clothes. And they were like, "Oh, we don't have a dress code." And I was like, "Trust me, if you'd seen this guy, you would have not let him in." Like, he would have needed an adult high chair. - He has, he has silky basket ball shorts that are somehow stiff from cum. (laughing) - Silky stiff. - Sure dude, some of his fits like, I would like be afraid to be seen at the gas station. (laughing) - I'm gonna be seeing a loan at home. - Dude, somebody rings my doorbell and change it. (laughing) - It was great though, the waiter was, he was just like a bit, he like gave us the perfect amount of information and we were charmed by it, but it was such a small restaurant that like, I think he heard us being charmed by his first interaction with us, and then he couldn't stop giving us charming interactions and it became uncharming, he uncharmed himself. Like, you asked at one point, there was like a big, there was a full-char truce menu. - Yeah, they had the back page of their drinks menu with just all this vintage char truce. - I've never even heard of that. - Yeah, the monks asked you were right. - The monks made it. (laughing) - Yeah, we were like, we were like, we were like, what is char truce exactly? What's the story? - And we asked, we asked this other guy, and he's like, you know, I don't really know. And then our waiter came over, he was like, if I may. - He popped up from behind. - He told the other guy, he's like, get the fuck out. - Yeah, he did. - Yeah. - He literally said that. - And what the other guy say, he said something funny. - At our memory. - He was like, I think I'll go figure something else out. (laughing) And then he gave us the whole like, shfeele on the-- - So he was a pro here. - Did you get the char truce? - No. - No. - He wasn't, oh, just a pro, he was first team all pro. - Yeah, there's steak houses that have guys, like career. - Career waiter. - Yeah, for sure. - This guy was. - Yeah, I mean, once I went to that place where we had that one guy that MOOC got his number. - What? - Whoa. - Gibson's. - Gibson's. - He was a life firm. - Yeah, he was like talking about like, - Oh, he had a MOOC. - Did get his number. - And then-- - I don't like going to restaurants where they show you the cuts before they cook that. - Oh, that's exactly what they did. - I don't like it. - I don't know what to do. - It's a lot. - And just show us the cut. They, there was one thing that was like, this is a, there's a farm in Japan where you can buy a single animal from the farm. And we like bought one of the animals from the farm in Japan at auction. And it was just this like, it wasn't just marbling, it was just a hunk of fat. It was just a pure hunk of fat day wagyu. - Yeah, it was, and you know, God knows how expensive we, but we issued that fortunately. But he was like, yeah, we were very lucky as a restaurant to get one of the 31 animals. - Oh, that will work. That will work on me. - Yeah. - Yeah, we, like a, like just a club of wagyu fat. It was a glob. - I would have to be so good. - It was a glob. - I think they said it was-- - They both were like, we can't, we don't do wagyu because it's so, it's so fatty. - I mean, I, we had barrel, I was so hungry. I was like, I've wagged wagyu right now. It's gonna kill me. - I, that's all I eat for dinner. - I love, yeah. I mean, obviously fat, yeah, meat fat. - Meat fat's great. - It's so good. - I find wagyu to be too rich for my tastes. - I think wagyu's good, but I think it's the best in, like small doses, like what we did that, when we went to that Korean barbecue place. - That was kind of fun, yeah. - 'Cause it's just small pieces. - Yeah, small tiny bites maybe. But, no, the whole experience was pretty good. Harry did take his hat off, which I thought was really well-mannered. (laughing) - I mean, it was like, if I, if I were to wear that hat, people were gonna be looking at me the entire time. Dude, I'm the same way I wear hat. I feel hideous without a hat. - Oh, I felt red-tarded without your hat. - I went to the bathroom and I saw myself in the mirror and I was like, "Oh, my God." - I thought you look cute. - Having showered, hair's greased back. - Dude, I load up on any sort of accessory on body. - Oh, like I'm always incognito. - The beard's in accessories. - Sure is. - Beard glasses, like what percentage of my face are you really seeing? (laughing) - You're under 10. - Yeah. - The day your shave was shocking. - Oh, yeah, that was horrible. It's always funny when someone shaved, who's had like a beard forever. - Yeah. - When your dad shaved. - Hate it, that I would cry, I would weep. - I love watching the videos of little girls watching their dad shaved. - Yeah. (laughing) - Because they're fucking horrifying. - I remember when the first time my dad shaved was in being like, "Oh, fuck." I remember being like shocked. - Did he have a beard? - Yeah, he had like a big, he had like a full beard. - Really? - Yeah, not like long, but he should bring that shit back. - Yeah, yeah. I've never had eyes on your dad. I just got eyes on him within the last week. - Really? - What are we thinking? - The last week. - Within the last week. - Did you meet him? - No, no, just got eyes on him. - Yeah, it's gonna say when, we went to this happen. - I got eyes on him, the family picture. - Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. You keep the fam under lock and key. (laughing) - Bro, it's so funny. So we, okay, so we met, we talked about this, but we met Harry's mom and sister at the airport leaving Florida from Fish Week 2. And they were the lovelies people ever. And we had such a nice sort of encounter with them in the terminal, briefly. And then yesterday, Ron was saying to Harry at the dinner, he was like, you know, I kind of, because we landed in Milwaukee. And Harry has said that his dad does work in Milwaukee. And Ron was like, I bet you guys thought you might see, what did you say? - I thought, I mean, yeah, I thought you guys were gonna run into like his dad or something. - Yeah, and Harry was like, that's ridiculous. We would never have. And then sure enough though, when we landed in Milwaukee, we got out to where the ubers were gonna pick us up on the curb. And Harry looked around and he goes, I wonder if my dad's. (laughing) And I'm like, what is he scheduled to be? He's like, no, he's just here all the time. - He finally went out there. - Ron made the exact same comment later. Harry was like, that's ridiculous. - No, Ron said he lived in Wisconsin. - I don't think I did. - That was what the entire argument was. - I see. - I see. - And I went back and said he actually did at one point. And then we went down this train, we're just gonna meet Harry's entire family at different airports around the country. - That's the only place. But do you communicate with him enough to like, hey, are you in Milwaukee? I mean, my dad travels, I have it pretty much every week. So like, I usually know, but I don't think he's not in Milwaukee right now. - Okay. - And then he said something very sad, which was like, my dad'll come to New York and I won't even see him. - Well, I mean, that's 'cause we see each other a lot. - Yeah, I guess so. Being your dad and all, but like, do your parents have any desire to like, tour through the office or like? - No, I don't think so. But they come, they come to New York and visit. - They're so sweet and nice. - They're nice to people. - Yeah, they're so nice. - Yeah. - I know, yeah, they're not big in the. - Well, my dad, the New York, I like straight up hung out with him as a friend. - Yeah. - He had me as a young boy. - Yeah, he was at the same age as Ryan. - Yeah, he does a good hang. - He's all right. - He is. - He's a great hang. Harry's dad is literally him with gray hair. - Pretty much, yeah. - He looks exactly like you. - Pretty much. - I look like my dad, but not like exactly like my dad. Your dad looks exactly like you. - Yeah, I know. - It's weird. (laughing) - He's jacking my style. - Is he more assertive than you or he's kind of like. - He likes black thought. - Yeah, with a black thought. - With a black thought. - With a rapper, with a root? - Yeah, yeah. - Yeah. - He's really, he claims to you. - I don't know if he actually does. - I think he's telling. - I feel like that's very telling him about you. - That's cool. - Yeah. - At first I thought that was like a force. - How did that come up? - 'Cause one time I said my, like I thought the best rapper's black thought in like Harry's skull. He's like, that's like someone like my dad likes. - That says my way more about your dad, yeah. - Yeah, your dad's cool. - I mean, I still think it's a crazy answer. - Black thought is technically like an incredible, like perfect rapper. - That's a cool voice. - Technically. - I think that baby is one of the best rappers. - I think he's the coolest dude. - I know. - He is. - It's probably, every time I see him, I like sink into him. - And he has like his body. - And he's just like, he understands standard ground loss so well. I think that he's killed multiple people on live stream. - Yeah. - He always gets away with it. - He like killed a guy in a wall. - Every loophole. And I don't think he was ever even like arrested for it. He'll do like premeditated self-defense. (laughing) He also like cooks for his entire tour. - His entire tour on the road. - I watched the video. It was like a seven minute video. He like makes a full meal like catered almost. - Yeah. - And he's like chef in the vegetables and like a big walk. Like he's cooking. - He's like, I got 30 minutes like I got to be on stage and he's like dominating this kitchen. He's like a magnetically. - Yeah. - Oh my god. - A real alpha girl. - The rap community, they'll be like the baby's ass, the baby's trash. And then I'll see him with his shirt off and a chain free styling and it's pure magic. (laughing) - Does he have a good body? - Incino, no, insane. And he's a knockout artist too. Like he had, he's like, he could fight. He'll kill you with the gun. But he also can fight live. - I'm gonna look him up. - He has like, I think his penis has been leaked too. - I think his penis is massive. - Oh yeah. Yes. You have that. No, I think it is. Yeah, it is. It is. It is 18 inches long. Yeah. He has 18 inches long. He's a massive penis. He could cook. He could fight. He can kill. He can wrap his like like cadence, but people get mad because his rap all sounds the same. They say, so fucking what? Yeah. I agree. I agree. I've never seen a video of him being bad at anything. How tall is the baby? He's pretty small. That's pretty strong. Well, that just makes the penis look bigger. I don't think his penis needs to look any bigger. He's all set. I think you get the idea when you look at it. He's awesome. But if you saw the penis without the body, how tall would you say the baby was? Seven feet tall. He's five eight. Five eight with the absolute you never seen that video of him with the guy filming him through the window of his car. And he's like, "Yo, I loved you on the box." Love you. That's what I'm thinking about. I saw a video of him. Someone made like a portrait of his daughters or something like that and came to one of his concerts. And the guy filmed himself trying to give the guy to try to give the baby to portrait. And the baby just like walked past him and didn't even look at him. And the guy tried to make it like really sad and like make himself a victim on the internet. And the whole internet's like, you're a fucking weirdo for bringing pictures of the baby's daughters. Yeah. That is live to the baby. That's a weird, weird move. That's so crazy. That's a Darren Revelle move. Yeah. That's crazy. It's so crazy that people do that. And then they're like, "Oh, I'm going to post this online now because I still think that I'm not the weird one." I'm in the right. It might not even been a picture. It might have been like one of those people that makes like custom bathmatch or something like that. Yeah. It might have been a rug of your charm. Yeah. I made custom bath mats of the baby's babies took me three years to make. What the fuck? Proposterous. But I mean the baby is that I can't believe you're into the baby that makes you so glad. Yeah. I don't know. I saw I saw one of his freestyle recently and I was met. As you said, mesmerized by it. It's a very different flow. And he is like, I am a pentameter. I was like, that that that that that that that that that that is I love. He's his voice sounds like so like silky and like manly. It's so nice. It truly is. It's really like an E-Bass voice. You kind of have the same like build as the baby. Do I have the same build as him? You're like fully maxed out. I have a look. Yeah, I could see I could see me and the baby having some. When you meet him, if you ever meet him, you should say we have the same bodies. He'd love that. You would love that. Yeah. Yeah, you'd be receptive. But that more so the rug. He'd pull out penis. Hi, Doc. Uh, you don't know how to call you, Doc, but, uh, be my friend. Please, my father. Hey, son of a boy, dad listeners. We'll be right back. It's Fran from Chicks in the office. The weather is getting cooler and Abercrombie's fall job has everything I need for the season. The best selling A and F Sloan Taylor pant is a closet staple for me. I'm always wearing it to work events. Happy hour. Anytime I want to be a bit more dressed up and the viral Dylan dress is easy, one and done perfection. But my fall uniform will always be denim pair with a Henley sweater, a bra free top. It's comfortable, effortless. It just never fails. Find your fall capsule at Abercrombie shop in the app online and in stores. All right. Baby, baby. Baby, it makes me feel. He just got that. Did he fully get canceled because of the home? He was like, well, is he homophobic? He's like shout out if you don't got eight. Yeah, it was like really odd. And then it was like a whole thing. It was at like, what was it? There's some festival. Yeah. And the only thing I saw was it was it was like background noise on like a tailgate video or something. Like so much film and stuff. Oh, I don't even know. I don't think I ever even saw the video. I just remember Elton John tweeted about it, which is probably not good. Yeah, no, do you follow El John? No, that's why that's why that's why he had like multiple paragraphs. Why is Elton John like inheriting other people's beef? Like he doesn't have AIDS. Oh, he's gay. Yeah, but he doesn't speak for the AIDS community. I think he probably speaks more for the AIDS community than DeBaby does. And DeBaby is weirdly taking an anti-Aid stance and like, are you pro AIDS? No, but he's like he's taking like I'm glad he's anti-Aid. Well, anti-Aids, of course, we all are, but he's more anti-Aids havers. Yeah, which is a weird stance to have this time of it. It was also like remarkably unprovoked. Yeah, that's why me and it's like 2025 and he's like, fuck anyone who has AIDS. That's like the crowd that hates barstool, but love PMC. I hate AIDS, but I love what people get. Yeah, yeah. There's probably like no one even in the crowd that has AIDS. Which why it should be like a good thing is like being in Philly being like, fuck the cowboys. Yeah, yeah, yeah, all the fans are all on the same. Yeah. Maybe there's like one dude that has AIDS and he's like, I guess this is it for me. Just really didn't see this coming today. I use this as an escape. I got to say life is pretty tough. I use this concert as an escape. I need to distract myself. He's on his make a wish foundation trip. Yo, if you got AIDS, go fuck yourself. Fuck you out of my show. One guy's leaving. Do you just suck to have like a personal emergency right when he said fuck AIDS because everybody would think you had it or leave. No, not me, not me. I just gotta go. No problem. The crowd's the crowd's clearing the path for you. Oh, I get so easy. The Moses of AIDS. The Red Sea. The Moses of AIDS. We're being the AIDS guy leaving and they're like you want us to stamp you to get back in. Almost. I'm actually all good. The AIDS tank. You're gonna pick me up. I'm in the AIDS tank of the baby show. All right, you get one call. They took my camel back. I've hospitalized 1.08. I'm getting ticketed. Not right. Not right what the baby did. Little babies a whole other story. I confuse my baby. I love little baby. You do? Yeah. How could you not? All right. You don't like little baby? Not much crazy about him. I'm more of a dove baby guy. I don't even feel like that's completely different sides of the rap world. You know? How so? I miss that. Little baby is part of what's it called? Why so? Yeah. I miss the generation cut off or younger people are obsessed with him and NBA young boy. Oh, yeah. I'm not. I'm not like super. I like little baby. I know a couple of his songs, but they're people out there that think that young thug is the greatest artist ever. That was my life. I'm one of those people. Yeah. And then everyone, all those people love the other wise people. NBA young boy is discreetly like one of the biggest rappers in the world. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely releases an album like every two weeks and they all sell out of this world. Are you familiar with NBA young boy? No. He's, he's an interesting dude. He's a bizarre guy. I think that he went to, I think Gilean Wallow maybe went to his, he's like on house arrest in Utah. He's like writing horses and smoking cigarettes and recording two billion songs. Yeah. And like he doesn't like, you can't understand half the city says and he's pretty terrifying. But also in interviews, he like whispers, lean on someone's shoes intentionally and like made them like the lead made like Gilean Wallow like delete the interview or something. Oh, I don't know about that. I'm not even sure. Yeah. But he's got, I wasn't a few of his songs are good, but do the top rappers still have the motion that they used to? No, I don't think so. Now that like famed tears are more ambiguous, like who are the top dogs? I was with some rappers. Before we went onto this Kaisa not stream, I was with all the battle rappers in like a fucking theater in the basement of Kaisa not's house. And they were theorizing they're like rappers are going to be extinct within like 20 years. Like rappers are are not. It's like Japanese. Yeah. The birth of like replacement rate of rappers isn't at like the right, it's not at 2.2. The same motivation when you can stream right and do so many other avenues of entertainment that don't require like extensive this guy's work, like songwriting, rap and getting in the studio or releasing albums. Yeah. Well, Kennedy was like, he had like he was very well thought out like he, but he was like, yeah, like rappers are not like it might be something that people do, but it's not going to be a thing that's something that streamers will do for one video. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Ever since the rise of female rappers, they're just not having kids as much. The Celia really set, you know, a new standard where women are like, I can rap. I don't need to. I don't. There are lots of tough women rappers these days. Yeah. Yeah. Good. I feel like there's also just a lot more rappers these days that are just like full on junkies. That's like the aesthetic. I feel like it's not like what it used to be of like gangster rap. It's like dudes that are like can't stand up. That started like like eight years ago where like you had to be extremely incapacitated on opioids. Yeah. Like the like the learning lean. Like did you see that video of chief keyf and all of his guys getting out of the plane? It's insane. They can't walk. Yeah. And they're all like, they're all bad as fuck, but you can tell it's like rock hard. Like it's all like just like constipated. And then now there's like young men. Janu, I'm so serious. Like the video is like the guy's guts. Like he was the cell. Like it's opioid constipation. You saw the video you were like, he has so much shit in it. Through the cam, he can't walk. It's not chief keyf. It's like chief keeps friends, but she keeps there. Yeah, but there's there's young dudes who aren't even on drugs that are like now emulated in the like speech patterns of the dude rappers on drugs who are sober. Like people, the Eagles first round draft pick, McCoy lemon, people are like criticizing him for how he talks, but then there's other people being like, he's talking like the rappers he knows because they're like drug-addled. Like their brains are fried. Is he the guy that was like a snake? Yes, exactly. It's like these slithers from Orange County. It's a great call, but like people are yeah. Yeah, it's more of like a display. It's a display. And it's I mean, it's it's a weird thing to emulate, I guess. Yeah, I just feel like you're streaming now. Like I watched like Wiz Khalifa and Kid Cutty started streaming. Yeah. And they were like making songs live and Wiz Khalifa. I don't think I've ever seen someone look cooler. Like he's at the point now. We're like he's kind of having a like an aura resurgence. Yeah, but he's at the point now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's the opposite. I think it is. Do it with MGK. He's kind of like I heard a story where he was like my kid goes to school and I saw all the teachers say he smells like weed every day. Yeah. That's not aura. That's not really lame. Yeah, that's not exactly. But he's at the point now. We're like he was so famous and like kind of beat the story mode. And now he's like in these streams and all he's doing is like wearing like elegant cloths, smoking joints, and then just does versus. Yeah, he's in a postgame, but like Polo Jesus streamer now. Yeah, do T Grizz. Wait, is Polo G the one that is streaming and he's getting like no viewers? Yeah. And he's like starting from the bottom. You know who the slim Jimmy from Ray Shremmard is like streaming him rapping to like a dozen people. Yeah. Yeah. It's crazy. T Grizzly made his own GTA R piece. Yeah. He's making so much money off. Yeah. Yeah. I actually would bet that's probably where most of his money is coming from. Yeah. Which Khalifa's body is pretty interesting. Have you seen what's the latest? I'll be honest with you. It's been a long time since I had any purchase on this conversation. Francis, I've been like sneakily googling. So I can. What about Polo G? Over here. You're in the right. He's got the camera to us is collecting dust. I cannot believe I'm even trying to participate. It's like you're throwing out names that feel like you're punking me. You know, T Grizzlies the best. T Grizzlies GTA server. Yeah. That's how I want you to be like, yeah, I do love that guy. Then you can all be like, Brian doesn't exist. Oh, you feel like somebody laughing to be like that with just the exhale would hurt so bad. Oh, you feel right now. Francis is how I feel when they talk about literally any. I pray. Nick, I've heard people call that the millennial weaves. Really? That's yeah, we did it. I do that. You do the millennial. Are you you're not a let? Are you a millennial? No, I'm Gen Z. Oh, yeah, bitch. I heard Jen Alpha's 16 now. Really? They're on your ass because the person who directed that movie is like, they're going to catch up. They're going to be Z. What obsession? Yeah, what was he 20? Yeah, I think back rooms is 20, right? Back rooms, maybe he's 20 and then there, but then everybody's like, well, yeah, like people are giving Gen Z all this credit for it. But like, Jen Alpha is four years away from being in the exact same shoes. And you guys are about to be washed. You're about to be Jen Alpha C corny. Oh, gosh. Jen Alpha is going to be real bad. Why? Their brains don't work. This is what every generation has said. No, this one's going to pass. This one is really bad. Walk past the interns and just like, oh, boy, yeah, this one's like, oh, they're Gen Z. What are you talking about? They're not Gen Alpha. They're younger Gen Z. I think Gen Alpha is like going to be like, they're like reset after ages 16 to 19 currently retarded. Nothing going on. That's Gen Z. And what you're saying isn't even conscious. 16 to 19. Are we brilliant? No, we were smarter than these people. Yeah, everyone looks like they just came off of a brain freeze. Yeah. And they're like staring at you with glassy eyes. It's because the rise of nonchalants. I don't think it's either glassy eyes. I think it's like I think it's the right aspirational nonchalants. And they speak like that's my vibe like in Mexican abonics. Yeah. The queer white dudes. Yeah. Talking like hood Mexicans. It's very describing the coolest person on earth. It does sound like it like it sounds awesome. Yeah. I have no exposure to 16 to 19 years at all. I don't know if I've ever met one. We're not detectives. No, I know. I'm just trying to think like that age now is out of my world. Are you curious? Not really. That's for the best. That's like I don't know. I don't I don't I'm never going to work with those people. That's I'm too far removed. I'm never going to have an issue with them. Right. They'll see me as so old that I won't even be like a target for them. I'm really obsessed. I, you know, like I don't think I'll be relevant to them. I don't think that I would be someone they would even make far trying to impress or make laugh. They in in a way where if you passed a flock of them on the street and someone younger than me, I think they might be like, look at this fucking loser. With me, they'll just see me as like an elder. That's a good place to be. I don't mind. Yeah. It's peaceful. Maybe I'm dead wrong about that. No, I think I think you're a little off. I think you got a couple more years of them calling you a loser. Yeah. Don't you don't be too hard against that. But I'm not trying to access there. I'm not I'm not trying to have anything in common with them. No, no. I tried to had I tried to have stuff in common with your generation. I tried to stay young enough to like, you know, have commonality with with you guys. Yeah, and then you made fun of me for that you guys did, which is fine. I get that. You got me in my me and my crew. Well, Sass, do you feel like even you have a disconnect with people your own age because you started I did. I did. I definitely did when I was younger. Like when I was like when all my friends were in college. But like you had a job when they were in college, you're like piss that you were only making 60 grand. They were like, that's more money than I could ever think of. Yeah, yeah. Then I definitely felt like I had a disconnect now. I don't because all my friends have jobs. But I've been sad at first. It was more just like weird like when your friends are going out like five nights a week and I'm like working and doing bullshit. Especially I was touring a lot. So it was like a lot of just work. Yeah. But now I'm chilling. That is nice. Whenever I get like that pang of being the older guy and I'm like, these kids probably think I'm a fucking loser. Then I just think about my case. And I'm like, yeah, but my kids are going to think they're fucking losers. Yeah, that's true. It's so nice. So nice to have reset and think that you're the man. My kids for a while for a little. But even that I'm not even like like being like reframing it. So I'm the man. I'm just reframing it. So the guy who thinks he's the man now is like just a future loser. To just the different group of people. That's a nice thing. Yeah. It's never going to stop. Yeah. Yeah. It is really just a never any cycle. I wonder if there will be a generation that looks upon our generation Rome. And I guess you guys too. With any admiration. I don't think we've done anything of note. Are there but are there any generations that anybody? I'll say specific to like fashion. There's been this sort of up up up welling of like people love the way old men dress like right now. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I can men's wear. It's like always some fucking photo of a guy in New York sitting on the the websites. Yeah. Going to what's that? The websites. The websites that I shop at. The models are very old. Old men. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. There's like this. I don't know. Vintage Americana kind of that the coolest guy that you've ever seen dressed as the guy coming back from the bodega with grocery bags. No, it's a lot of like Kennedy shit. Yeah. There's that too. Yeah. But I'm talking even more like guys who are like 75 years old. They're being vaunted as as like the best dress. What is it? Because they're wearing like nice like they were like a suit when they go out or no. It's all I don't know. I'll try to find something to show you. But like they're wearing like a chore jacket with like baggy pants and like sped drills or something. And somehow that's like. But people are being influenced by something with the substance of just a still image. Not actually the behavior. Yeah. You're like that guy's dressed well, but there's a 75 year old a block away who looks like shit. Oh, disgusting. Of course. Yeah. There's like all the still old people in like nursing homes and moos and like shit themselves. Yeah. Yeah. But I wonder if that will be iconic when when we're doing it. When we're in hospital gowns, shooting ourselves. - I agree, I don't know that there will be an admiration for, 'cause we didn't fight in any wars. We didn't really do anything. - I feel like it's just a cycle of the younger generation, or people in the younger generations think that people in the older generation sparked them over somehow, and then they like think, - I just think that they all hate each other. - Not actually hate each other, but like it's just like a general. There's an animosity. - Yeah, yeah. - Yeah, I ran into, I was walking my dog the other day, and there was a bunch of probably like 17 year olds going to a concert. - Oh, no. - And that was like holy shit. And it was like a weird glimpse into my past, for like, it was a crew of like guys and girls, they were all like clearly like had like fucking water bottles, and like. - I'm envious when I see that. - Yeah, and I was like, man, they're having so much fun, but the funny thing is like they're fashion, now that I'm thinking about it, was identical. It was just dudes that like wearing like a fucking Maverick's jersey to like a music festival. - Yeah, and then they were like the guys where we had like drawstring backpacks, and like just were taking their shirts off. You know what I mean? Like, it was the same weird stupid horse shit you wear. - Yeah. - Like we wore. - I used to love a drawstring. - Yeah, you know what I mean? - I would hate when the straps would get like uneven. - Oh yeah. - And they were like impossible to fix. - No, it was three ingredients, but they would, if it one broke, it was impossible to fix. - Yeah. - Were you a drawstring bag and high school kid? - Not like, so all those kids had like, I hated thoroughly pregnant. - Yeah, no, no, no. - I wouldn't bring one to school. I had a regular backpack. - Okay. - I'll be okay. - Kids that had the Nike jawstring also with the shop. - Put it in the book too. - And track the jawstring is tough. - Yeah. - I definitely had a Nike jawstring though. - Two. - You were a Wyatt. (laughs) - Oh yeah, you were. - Yeah, at least forget about that. - I guess back then, yeah. (laughs) - But imagine going to a concert now, Frances, and you're wearing a Toronto Raptors jersey. (laughs) - Yeah. - There's a point that like, it seems like when you're like 16, 17, you go to a concert and you're like, I need to show my arms. - Yeah. - You know what I mean? - I suppose so. - No, me, obviously. - No, me, I was like, - I wanna wear a black hoodie. - It's 90, 90 today, and I'm like, yeah. - Yeah. - I could probably get away with pants. (laughs) - I think that, you know, more importantly, and Harry and I both agree that going to a concert period is out of the question for me. - Yeah, it's not really my thing. - What are you talking about, bro? - I get very anxious at a concert. - I just don't know what to do. - Really? - I have a fear that I won't be able to escape if something bad happens, and it's really crippling. - Oh shit. - And it happens in large, like standing room. - I bet you're living in New York City, Helms. - Well, I don't know. I avoid crowds in New York City, too. - You need to start listening to less popular bands. - True. - Yeah, you need to go see some trash. - Yeah, that's true. Like, I love like a fucking little small tiny concert kind of show or whatever. - You love it, what about your live music? - Do you feel that way to sporting events? - Somehow sporting events don't bother me as much. - 'Cause you're seated. - Probably. - There is a bit of an anarchy to a lot of shows. - What about like going to a big concert at like Madison Square Garden where you have a seat? - I wouldn't do it. I would not be, I wouldn't do it. - Really? - You can go sway to Casey Musgraves. - Dude, I haven't been to a concert in probably 15 years now. - What? - And maybe I'm just like fueling my own fear by, - Probably. - By saying that sounds like it. - Yeah. - Yeah, you'd hate a music festival because there's so many people. And then like, you looked to your right and then there's like a 15 year old getting stretchered off. - Oh yeah. - I think this is exactly it. Like, since the last time I went to a concert, there was the Travis Scott situation. There was documentaries about Woodstock 99 that came out. - The Ariana Grande. - The Ariana Grande. It's just been like a litany of horror at concerts that I have said those are not safe places and I will not venture near them. - You stick to like Mumford and Sons. - You'll be chill. - But Mumford and Sons, like one of my friends was asking if we could get tickets to Mumford and Sons in New York. And it's like, even that, like they got like the pit. He was like, we gotta go in the pit. - The pit for Mumford and Sons? - See, the well was like, I just want to, I don't, yeah. I just saw, there was no chance you got a truck in Sons. - I guess at MSG, there's gonna be like standing area on the ground. But yeah, that's like an immediate, no. - I'm a crowd hater but I do need to be in the pit. - Really? - I can't be confined to like a stadium seat. - That's the thing too is I don't think the stadium seat would be fun. - Not enough. - I want to be able to like, sway, move around, walk to the beer tent. - Are you dancing, or are you? - I'm, yeah. - Yeah. - Like when you took the MDMA where you like-- - Like moving. - Yeah, yeah. Like any like, full on like, he's, oh, he's going very like incredibly graceful. I like that, I like that. - In my head. (laughing) - Whatever he says. - No, I don't dance. - I took MDA at like probably, I was probably like 22 and I took it at like a, like a jingle ball type of event. (laughing) - The corporate one at T-Mobile Arena. - Yeah, it's like an indoor arena where like, they just shuffled on an artist and I like, I think I was, I think I'm pop locked. (laughing) - I was rolling at the I Heart radio. - I was like, making a trainer and I was like, "Fuck if I'm pop locked." (laughing) - I could have believed it. It was good fun. You guys have a heart out. - Yeah, we are just. - Yeah. - Okay. - Well, this was very fun. - Yeah. - Thank you for having us. - I appreciate it. - Yes, appreciate ya. - Yeah, it was fun. - All right, that's son of a boy dad. We'll see you soon. - Goodbye. (upbeat music)
