Victoria Garrick Brown unveils her deeply personal, mental health-focused daily planner, "Booked and Balanced," designed to help users achieve harmony between productivity and self-care. After years of burnout and emotional neglect, she created the planner to address gaps in existing tools, emphasizing daily emotional tracking, gratitude, and mindfulness. Each day’s spread begins with 3D breaths, includes a must-do/can-do task system, and features a "three good things" exercise to train optimism. Special pages cover mental health tools, intentions, routines, and emotional needs, while the planner’s design—soothing linens, custom stickers, and visual cues—promotes calm and personalization. The planner is a full-creation project, not a co-brand, developed over a year with her team. A limited restock is available starting January 6th, with only a small quantity due to high demand and long production times; the next drop is expected in March or April. Victoria shares her journey of self-discovery, emotional awareness, and the transformative power of daily reflection, inviting listeners to adopt the planner to cultivate balance, joy, and resilience in their lives.
The following podcast is a deer media production. Welcome to RealPod. It's your host Victoria Garrick Brown and this is the podcast where we hold nothing back. Oh, so we're getting deep, huh? I really cried for 12 days straight. Why do I want to be perfect? There's nothing in my life that is perfect. Every week I'll bring you honest, unfiltered and eye-opening conversations to help uncover the real in all of us. I crave the type of content that you're talking about. I actually felt insecure. Oh, my God, am I going to cry? Let me just unload everything. New episodes every Wednesday leave those filters at the door because it's time to get real. Before we get into today's episode, I have an important announcement about my planner restock. So today you're going to hear all about the creation of my new mental, all-the-forward planner booked and balanced, but I wanted to let you know that our first drop happened on January 4th this past Sunday and it sold out in four hours. It was insane, surreal, amazing. I am so overjoyed. I can't even explain it and we're doing our best to respond to the demand, but these planners take a while to make since there's so much detail and care. Thank you to all of your incredible support. We were able to pull a few strings and offer a small restock sooner than planned. It'll be today or tonight, I guess January 6th at 6 o'clock PM Pacific 9 o'clock PM Eastern and you can pre-order your booked and balanced planner at thetrayagrackbrown.com/shop with order shipping between January 14th and January 21st. So this restock will have less quantity than our initial drop so there are not very many. So if you want one, be sure to order right at 6 o'clock PM Pacific 9 o'clock PM Eastern at thetrayagrackbrown.com/shop. We are working as fast as we possibly can on a larger restock. Trust me. I want everyone to get a B and B planner who wants one, but the next window to order will not be until like March or maybe even April. So if you've been hoping to start 2026 with your booked and balanced planner by your side, this is the last chance and then the next drop will be hopefully in March maybe April. So once again, that's tonight January 6th at 6 o'clock PM Pacific 9 o'clock PM Eastern for the last limited drop of the booked and balanced planner at thetrayagrackbrown.com/shop. All right, enjoy the episode. Hello everybody and welcome back to RealPod. I'm so excited because today I'm telling you all about my new mental health forward daily planner booked and balanced. If you are following my Instagram, you have seen the promo. Hopefully you've ordered one and your very own booked and balanced planner is honestly to you. I really wanted to do a RealPod episode that was all about why I created this planner and truly think it's so important and has been a life changing tool for me and also tell you about all the behind the scenes of creating this from scratch. Literally it didn't exist. It is not a co-brand. This is something that my team and I shout out Jenna worked super hard on for the past year to bring to life from the figment of our imagination and today I'm going to tell you all about it. I feel like you've heard me many times on recent RealPod episodes teasing this and being like stay tuned, stay tuned or I have the secret project I'm working on. Well, this is a cat's out of the bag introducing booked and balanced. I honestly can't believe that I'm holding it in my hands right now and so many already shipped it on their way to you guys and the promo is out and everything. It has been such a labor of love and I just can't wait to hear all of your reactions and learn how booked and balanced hopefully changes your life to for the better. So I'm just so excited. All right. I'll start by saying as someone who has always been driven and goal oriented, I have learned the hard way that if I do not prioritize my mental health burnout is inevitable. You guys have witnessed my end of year burnout this past December where I just felt like so overwhelmed and strung out and like I hadn't been aware or keeping track of my mood and my emotions. I've been neglecting the things that I know are good for me and keep me in a routine. I was slacking on my habits and I had so much living in my brain that at some point you just start to like short circuit and you can't function as your best self. And after years of cycling through like get shit done phases only to end up feeling so spread thin and overwhelmed I realized that I needed to create a solution because I could not find one out there. Yes, I've always loved a planner. I've had many throughout my life. But the thing about all the planners I've ever had is none of them prioritize your mental health and self care on a daily basis. So that's why booked and balanced was born. I needed to create a better way to manage everything. I wanted to design something that would provide simple yet transformative tools to help us all organize our tasks prioritize self care track our daily emotions and celebrate our wins both big and small. So this planner was created for the people who want to accomplish big goals but not sacrifice their well being during the process. I have always loved a planner. I love writing in something pen to paper using some cute pen some cute highlighters. Truly nothing better. I have pictures of me years ago with blank bullet journals because I needed to create something that worked for my brain. So honestly it's so surreal like looking back at those photos of when I would create the inside of my dream planner and now I've done that it's wild. So that brings me to creating the actual contents of the planner like what is inside this was such a fun process because I literally was looking at a blank piece of paper. And I was like what would I want on this paper every day that would provide the perfect formula and guardrails for me to be set up for success and also in tune with myself. And so every single daily spread starts with 3D breaths. It was so clear to me that I wanted the first thing I saw on the paper to say 3 deep breaths. Before we do anything we should always take 3D breaths and then I wanted that to actually be something that we could accomplish. So there's 3 little circles right next to that. And so every morning when I wake up and I'm ready, right, I'm tight. I got my pen. I'm ready to attack the world. I see 3D breaths immediately. I drop my shoulders and I take my breaths and then when I'm done with those check, check, check, we're rocking and rolling and you already have accomplished something today. It's dateless so that you can miss a day and feel no shame. You can start it whenever you want, you can come back to pages because I feel like I've had planners before that have dates and then I start to freak out that I've got six blank pages because I forgot my planner or I got sidetracked and I didn't fill them out. So that's why your book to balance planner is dateless. And then I also thought what do I want at the top of the page to really make me feel centered and aligned and in tune with myself before I get going. I love gratitude moment. There's so much science about the way gratitude is tied to happiness and joy. I think it's so important to take a second to think about one thing you're grateful for and so we have that at the top. And then underneath it is something I'm really proud of because I haven't seen this. And it's the feeling section. So it says today I'm feeling and then it gives you a skill of one to 10 and it gives you a line to journal as well. This was born out of my therapy sessions actually because my therapist always asks me to rate myself on a one to 10 and then provide the emotion that I'm feeling that day. I think it's just such a good check in because sometimes we don't realize that we've been functioning at a three or a four for a month straight. And so with this emotion tracking, you can literally see day after day how you're feeling. You can notice patterns and trends and then you can make adjustments if needed. When I first started doing this, I felt like I was always at a six. And so that was helpful information for me to say, hmm, how can I get closer to a seven? How can I just go up one step on this scale to feel better every single day? And also something else I love to do with this section is you can do it multiple times a day. So you could circle the number that you're feeling in the morning and then you could write like seven a.m. And then you can come back to it at like five o'clock when your day is over and maybe it's gone up, maybe it's gone down, but that's all helpful information. And then a lot of people love to journal. I love to journal. So not only is there just the numbers, but there's also some space for you to write why you're feeling this number or any thoughts you have about it. And that's just the top of the day. Okay. I'm sorry. I love it so much. I like it's the perfect way to start planning anything. Next instead of a normal to do list, booked and balanced has a must do can do aka we've taken the to do list and we've split it up into two different sections. Your must do's are your priorities that must get done that day. Your can do's are things that if you're feeling great and you're feeling super ambitious, you can jump into that section as well. I like to actually use the how I'm feeling section as a place where I can dictate how ambitious I'm feeling. So five circle that I'm at like a four or five today, I might just stick to my must do's. But if I'm circling an eight or a nine, let's drop into the can do's. And what I love most about splitting your to do list into must do's and can do's is you find that you actually have very few must do's, right? Our brain is telling us I got to do all these things today. But do they really all have to get done today? Can any of them get done tomorrow or just before the weekend or just before next week? So when you really look at that and you say must to do, you get super clear on your priorities. And then you can start your day by accomplishing those must use. This is something that I have been doing since
2019, 2020. If you've been following me for that many years, you will remember when I posted about the must-do-can-do from my bullet journal. So honestly, just super surreal that now that has been brought to life like in the bones of this planner. Also in the daily spread, there's a habit tracker. I think it's so important to know what are your self-care priorities and am I doing those every day? There's a little notes to sell for you can write down anything you want. I wanted to make sure that there were ways that you could customize this and make it work for you. I also was super particular about making sure there wasn't junk and like stuff on the pages that no one would use. Like I genuinely believe every single part of your daily spread a person would want to use and is beneficial to them. I hate when I get something and I'm like oh I love it but I hate that half the page is this section of something that I will never use and I don't need and now it's just wasting space. Booked in balance doesn't do that. Another thing that was super important to me was making sure that if you use this planner every day you will actually be getting closer to a happier more positive optimistic and joyful life and that is proven through the three good things exercise that's on every single page. The three good things exercise was developed by Dr. Martin Seligman and each day you write down three good things you observe in the world. So it's kind of like being a researcher of good and I will find myself being out and about looking for the good around me seeing that someone held the door open for someone else seeing friends laughing together in the park having a great time seeing a guy holding flowers and knowing he's bringing those to someone. There's so much good and positivity all around us but we oftentimes will just look for the negative. One of my favorite quotes is be careful what you look for you just might find it. Let that sink in and so every single day needing to write down three good things that you saw witnessed or were a part of in your day will help train your brain for optimism and positivity. So that's just one of the many ways that your book didn't balance planner is going to help take care and prioritize your mental health. There's also a little section at the bottom that says today's win because it's so important to pat ourselves on the back tell ourselves we're proud of ourselves to be nice to ourselves. You've known that that's been a struggle of mine. I often want to like celebrate everyone else and not do the same for myself. I've talked about that on the show and so I love having this little section for today's win. It could be something physical like I got an A on this paper or my boss sent me a kind email or it can be something intangible and personal. Like I'm really proud of the way I held it together on that tough call or I love the way that I took a moment before reacting to this difficult situation and then every single day you're getting used to stopping and celebrating something that you did and that all right there is your daily spread. I'm sorry like I'm biased I created the planner but who wouldn't want to do that every single day it will just make your day better. I also want to tell you about the special pages that are in booked and balanced but before we do I want to focus on the exterior and the vibe of booked and balanced. When I think about tranquility and peace and feeling grounded I want things that are soothing natural and calm and that's why I decided to go with this beautiful cream linen and then this beautiful espresso linen so that the planner itself just felt grounding. It's purposely designed to be a blank canvas that you can bring your personality to and that you can make your own. So when I'm writing in my planner I like to use colored pens and highlighters. I use pastel colors because I think it looks really pretty but I also love a sparkly gel pen adding stickers. It's really up to you and speaking of stickers every booked and balanced journal comes with a custom sticker sheet that you can use. Creating these stickers was super fun. I actually got to work with one of my VIPs shout out Will when I needed a designer to create these stickers. I messaged my broadcast channel on Instagram and I said, "Is anyone here a designer or artistically talented because I need someone's help?" That's how I found Will. He was amazing and helped bring my vision to life. All of these stickers are super on-brand, if you will. I think just further illustrate what booked and balanced is all about. There's a candle. There's a robe. There's a sticker that says #boundries. There's some sambas. There's a strawberry, a matcha, a full battery and an empty battery. Then so many fun quotes and words like cup filler, me time, self-care moment, deep breaths. I love my therapist. A few nods to my favorite singer, Wing-Wink. Overall, they're just so cute and I love using them. Overall, I'm just so happy with the way that this planner came together. There were so many different linen choices. Think about when you go get your nails done and you have to choose the type of neutral that you want. Now times that by like 10 because you're choosing the exterior for your planner and I remember sitting on the floor with Jenna and we just had like so many different options and I feel so great about where we landed. Both of these colors and these linens are just so beautiful and it's seriously so hard for me to pick my favorite. I can't. They're like both my children and I will never decide who I love more. So I host a little dinner party with my family for the holiday season and my sister-in-law is gluten-free and what do you think I put with our delicious bell peppers and hummus on my appetizer plate? Yep, you guessed it, crunch master. I used their legendary multi-seed original crackers. They are a trusted gluten-free brand for over 20 years and they are so delicious. So delicious that I didn't need to put another option. You know when you do a gluten-free option it's just for the gluten-free people and you have to have other stuff. I didn't have to do that because that's how delicious the crunch master crackers are. They're non-GMO made with olive oil and you get to satisfy your crunch without compromising on taste or texture. Crunch master snacks are made with wholesome non-GMO ingredients like rice, sesame seeds, quinoa and flax for a naturally gluten-free crunchy bite. They're baked, plant-based and free from artificial flavors which is perfect for simple snacking. They have so many great flavors as well. I mean you really can't go wrong. I have never met a crunch master flavor. I didn't like. My favorite is definitely either the original or the cheese. That was just like the cheesy one is so good and powdery. Oh, I love it. And you can find crunch master at a store near you. I was just in the grocery store the other day getting some items and what did I see? Crunch master grabbed it, put it in my cart. So find crunch master at a store near you today. You will love it as a little pick me up snack during the day as an addition to your favorite meal or as the perfect gluten-free cracker to put out for your gluten-free guests. So find crunch master at a store near you. This episode is brought to you by Premiere Protein and I love Premiere Protein so much. I feel like I don't go a day anymore without having a protein drink because it is just so hard to ensure that we're getting enough protein and the amount that we need every single day. And sometimes I'm super busy. I just like can't think about that in every single meal. And I don't like to hyperfixate on it, right? So that's where Premiere Protein is the solution. It's easy and delicious and a protein-packed way to power your day. There's so many incredible flavors. I like to keep mine in the fridge because I always like my protein drinks cold. They have so many delicious flavors. I love the chocolate and the coffee flavor and the coffee flavor even has caffeine. So if you want your yummy coffee latte that's going to give you that boost. It's also giving you 20 to 30 grams of protein, which is incredible. There's also flavors like strawberry, cinnamon roll, peaches and green caramel or cookie dough. So they have a flavor for every vibe. I also love the caramel one. And of course the classic chocolate, but there's so many amazing flavors like strawberry, vanilla, et cetera. So find your favorite flavor at Premiere Protein.com. That's Premiere P-R-E-M-I-E-R protein.com or at Amazon, Walmart, and other major retailers. It's so yummy, Max. I love Premiere Protein. We've got like honestly 40 bottles of Premiere Protein in our fridge and pandery downstairs. So you can find your favorite flavor at Premiere Protein.com. That's P-R-E-M-I-E-R protein, Premiere Protein.com or at Amazon, Walmart, or any other major retailers. And keep your eyes out for the cafe latte flavor. That is my favorite. Now as far as the specialty pages, it was important to me that this planner didn't just give you daily spreads, but it also gave you other tools that could really help you get clear about what living a balanced life means to you. One of my favorite quotes is balance isn't something to be found. It's something you create. And I really kept that top of mind when designing this planner. All of them come with a mental health toolkit where you can outline your cup fillers, so things that make you feel good, keep you happy, and keep your cup full. Your mindset strategies, things you may have learned that help you stay your best self, and then your superpowers, who you know your best self to be, so that you can come back and remember this when times get tough. We also have this beautiful page here where you can split up what it means to be your best self, and then what are the things that don't serve you. And so the whole idea with this page was that you can fill this out when you are feeling in your flow, right? You're in your power. And then if you ever feel yourself slipping, right? And you see today I'm feeling four, five, three, three, four. Okay, let's jump to our mental health toolkit and have we done any of these things. Oh my gosh, turns out I haven't done anything that fills my cup. Right? No wonder I'm feeling like a four or three. So I love that this page is something we personalize and then can come back to. Right after that page is this opportunity to design your balanced life one step at a time. This is something that was so important to me going into 2026. I was really candid about feeling like I had some systems and processes in 2025 that just weren't serving me anymore. And so this was the perfect page. It categorizes
work, relationships, mental health, spirituality, physical health, food and body finances. And then there's a blank section for whatever you want. And I literally asked myself, what does balance look like to me in each of these areas? What's the kind of life I want to live? And then how can I get it there? Right? And so I just think this is such a beautiful page to help facilitate you doing that inner work. And then after that, there's an ideal morning and evening routine page. And the way that this came to me was I was in Washington, visiting Maxis family. And I remember I was off of work and it was just a calm time. And I woke up in the morning and I was like, I wish I had a piece of paper that had my like ideal morning routine. I wish I didn't have to think right now and I could just look at this and be like, I have two hours this morning with nothing to do. What are the things that I want to do that are proven that helps set me up for my best day? And so that's what I thought, oh my gosh, I want to make sure the planner has this space where you can just write your ideal morning and evening routine and then come back to it on those days or weeks where you really do have the time. Or you push yourself to say, how can I get this every morning? How can I get this every night? So I love this page because it just keeps that super organized. And then there's a cry tracker because I just think it's helpful to know like, how often am I crying? Is this connected to my period? Right? That's been something that's been helpful for me. I'll put a little blood drop next to the cry moments that are during my luteal phase. So this overall just also in addition to the daily emotion tracking has been super helpful for me to see where my mental health has been at a high level. So you can put the date, your reasons and feelings and then your needs, right? The whole planner is really about helping you become your best self. And so I think it's great that we are going to cry and we're going to express our emotions. We're going to let them surface. Now, after that, what do we need? What was that telling us? And so that's what this needs section is for. Sometimes I will literally just write, just need to cry or a hug or to be listened to to be heard. Other times it will be to delegate, take stuff off my plate, a trip to cut off that friendship, right? So the need section is there to help you now think of which way do I want to turn from here? And then I can't say that this is my favorite spread in the planner because I love every page, but I'm just really proud of this one. And there's like nothing on it. It's the quotes that made me feel something spread. And the reason is I feel like as a creative person, I need space to be creative and to have inspiration, strike and have a place for that to go. And I don't even want lines. So the quotes that made me feel something spread. I just think it's first of all so cute that it says quotes that made me feel something because I feel like most self-care people and self-care girlies are inspirational quote people and they're mirror message people. I'm such a mirror message girl. I mean, my whole locker in college had like all these quotes. I had printed and cut out. So this is the place that you turn when you hear something on a podcast and you're like, oh my god, I got to write that down or you're talking to someone and they say something that really inspires you. There's no lines. There's no instructions. It really is just up to you when you can get creative here. Speaking of that in the very back of the planner, it's hidden. So don't miss it. There's a little page that says, I love doodling. I find myself on every flight, drawing on my napkin, drawing on that paper bag that they put in the seat pocket in front of you. And so this was actually one of the last things I added to the planner, but it came to me and I was like, we need it. We need a place where you can just draw and color when you need to express yourself or fidget with your fingers or feel creative. So that's our little I love doodling page. Okay, after quotes that made me feel something, we get into the month at a glance. I need to look at a calendar at a bird's eye view. I simply just need an overarching glance of each month. January, February, I want to see it from a bird's eye view. And so each month, you can use your corresponding sticker and put that on the top line. And then you set an intention. What do you want this month to be about for you? I think booked in balance is all about having high level goals and intentions and then also daily practices that we're working on. So each month, you can set an intention and then also you can say what you're prioritizing for that month and what you're manifesting. I thought this was really cute because first of all, we need to know at a high level, like what are my top three priorities for this month because that will help us stay focused. When in week two or three of the month, you feel like you're overwhelmed and you're wavering from your goals. So I love this prioritization box, right? If you have an intention of being aligned in January, that's my intention that I put in my planner. It says alignment. Okay, then what am I prioritizing? And one of the first things I wrote was my gut instinct. I need to prioritize that. Another thing I wrote was if it's not a hell, yes, it's a no, right? Because I want to stay aligned with what really lights me up. So I think it's cool that you can tie your prioritizing section back to your intention. And then the manifesting is just so fun because I love having things that we want to put out into universe, things that we want to make happen. It can be a big goal. It can be a small goal. It can be something in your control, not in your control. But I just thought that that was a really fun section to tie in this sort of connection to our surroundings, nature, the universe, and put out what we want to come back to us. And then you get into the daily spread, which we already talked about. And each week starts with a quote from one of our very own real podcasts, which is just so special and exciting, like that we have had so many incredible people on the show who've dropped so many knowledge bombs and words of wisdom that I got to pull a lot of my favorites, pretty much all my favorites into this planner. So that each new week, you get a seat of inspiration. Like when I'm telling you, you could flip to the start of any week and find quotes that stop you in your tracks. I mean it. Like I said, I'm a quote person. So I wanted the book in balance planner to be giving you inspiration every single week. And then lastly, but certainly not least because gosh, I think this is my other favorite spread. I think this is my favorite spread because I can't say it's the quote that made me feel something when there's nothing on the page. This is probably my favorite is the intention. No, but I love the daily spread too. It's a hard to choose favorite. The intentional pause that comes at the end of each week has been such a game changer for me. It's incredible. At the end of every week, there is an intentional pause. I literally remember I was sitting in my kitchen with Jenna when I said intentional pause. Like I want that to come at the end of the week. And I don't know what it's going to be, but we need a moment to pause, reflect on the week that we just had and get in touch with where we're at. And then reset our compass for the week to come. And that's how the intentional pause page was born. I thought it would be really fun to start with emojis like, you know, when you're a kid and they say, how do you feel? And you point at the happy face or the sad face. Sometimes we need that. It's good for our inner child. And so at the top of your intentional pause page is these smileys. And you can look at them and say, this is the one that speaks to me. Maybe there's a few. My favorite smiley hands down is this one in the very middle. He's four in from the left. And he's just like the motionless. I feel like I was really specific that we needed one that didn't like have feelings because I feel like that comes up with me a lot with my mental health is I'm like, I'm not sad, but I'm not happy today. Okay, boom. There's the middle guy for you. And then there's one with a little heart. There's a happy one. There's a cool one. There's a frustrated one, a sleepy one. I just, I love all these little smileys. And then it says, tell me more. So after you have chosen the emoji, if you will, that best suits how your week was. You have this place to journal. You have these three open lines where you can write what the week was like, how you're feeling and just really get that on paper. And then it guides you to say what you're proud of. So what are you proud of in your past week that you overcame that you got through that you pushed through that you learned? And then it says, what do you want to release? I love that one so much. It's a real moment to ask yourself, what do I not want to carry into this next week? What is not serving me that I need to release so that I can be my best self tomorrow morning. And then underneath that, you have your bullet points for coming up next and then your goals for the week. And then you finish with some words of affirmation. I'm a bad bitch. I'm a work in progress. I always get through it. I always end up okay. My people love me. I love me. I have loved this words of affirmation section so much because you just need to sometimes finish off something like this with that encouragement for yourself. And I'm sorry, like as I say it again, is that not the most perfect page for you finishing your week and starting a new one? Like it's honestly, I'm so proud of it. I really am. So much thought and care went into the creation of this planner. And I literally was like, if I don't want to do it myself, and if I don't think it's going to make my life better, I'm not putting it in there. And so this to me is truly it's simple enough that it's digestible and it's not intimidating to do, but it's intentional and detailed. So it's really helping you squeeze the best out of yourself while keeping your mental health, your utmost priority. And then next to that is just a free page that says declutter your mind. You guys know I've been in my decluttering era. I love decluttering. And the most important thing to declutter is our mind. So every week you have one blank lined page that you can use for whatever you need. I have found myself writing so many different things on this declutter your mind page. You can use it to keep journaling. You can use it for personal things. You can use it for note taking. I just met with a mentor earlier today. I brought my book to balance planner and I opened up my weekly declutter your mind page. And that's where I took all my notes. It's just the best. And you have those every single week. And then in the very back, you have more lined pages, but they say notes for therapy. That was really important to me because when I have something I want to bring up in therapy, I always bring out my phone and I write it my phone. And then if I learn something and
therapy that I want to forget, I also bring on my phone. But the phone can be so distracting. And if I need to go back to reference that, or I go to write something in there, I'm looking at the blue light, I'm getting a notification. And it's just like not the space I want that to exist. And so that's why in the back of your booked and balanced planner, there is a notes for therapy section. It's hidden all the way in the back because it's private. It says notes for therapy. And then you just have space to keep track of anything that's important to you. Honestly, as I sit here having said all of that, I am just like truly so proud. And I just believe in booked and balanced so much. It just is like truly, I think the missing piece to help you find balance and clarity throughout even your busiest days. And I'm so so excited for you to get your hands on it, make it your own. And then let me know how it is making your life and mental health better. I'm so grateful that real pot is brought to you by Quinn's because I love Quinn's so much. It's my favorite. I've had so many friends recently be like, I got this at Quinn's I love Quinn's. So now I'm going to speak to some of the behind the scenes and the marketing and the like business side of it. The booked and balanced planner is the first official product, if you will, that I have created. And it wasn't a co brand and it wasn't something I did with another company. But from scratch, me and my brand director, Jenna, shout out Jenna, none of this would have been possible without her. We created this. And I think that's what's been so surreal about it is like I'm holding something that I believe is making my life better and will hopefully make your life better. And it did not exist until we ideated it and then brought it to life. There were so many bumps in the road tears frustrations as well creating something like this was not easy. It sounds so amazing now because we've truly perfected it and poured so much heart and soul into it. But the process of getting here, like I just remember the early days when we had pulled up like a canva and we just were playing around like, okay, well, where should the must you can do beyond the page, right? Oh, let's add three good things. But I want to make sure there's enough space for people to actually write a good thing. I want them to check in with their mood. But where do we put that? How does it look? Like we really went back and forth on so many ideas. And then as you're building it, you come up with new ones. And then you're working with people who help create it. And you want to make sure that what you're seeing is what you envision in your head. And then once we finally got the booked and balanced planner perfected and to be what you see now, it was time to do the marketing, which I had so much fun. I feel so grateful that I got to really just like run a full creative campaign for the product that I created. I do think in another life, I would be running creative marketing campaigns for other companies. I've obviously been doing it with just my own personal branding and then the real pod branding. And also the opponent, like when they hit an opponent to the ultra boost to data shoe, like those videos and those pictures and that whole marketing push was like stuff that I got to think about and then bring to life with these amazing videographers and editors. So it was super fun for booked and balanced to like be getting random ideas of cute things that we wanted to do in the shoot, right? And so much about helping communicate a product to the community that you wanted to serve is in the visuals and is in the storytelling. And so Jenna and I really got to create like vision boards and Pinterest boards and say, what do we like about this? What do we want this to be? I remember getting the idea for the twin images late one night by myself. I think I was either on FaceTime with Michelle, or we had just hung up. And I don't know how it just came to me. I was like, Oh my God, there's going to be two versions of me, one who's booked, one who's balanced, and they're going to come together. And then I thought, I'm going to be an identical twin. It's going to be me and my identical twin. And it's like, that sounds crazy, but it was so fun to like have that idea. Tell Jenna, her be like, Okay, I'm down because she's like always going to support, but like I get in need to see how this looks, right? And then bring it to life with like an amazing team on the day of it was just surreal. The whole photo shoot was just like super cool. The video shoot, everyone there just played such an important role in bringing to life, the vision of what booked in balance really was supposed to emulate something else that's very important to the planner is the name. How did I come up with the name booked in balanced? That's a great question. I honestly just thought to myself, booked in balance, that's what I want to be. That's what I want to help people be. I feel like the names of everything I've created are so simple, like it's just this is what I want it to be. I mean, I want to have a podcast where people get real, real pod, the hidden opponent that actually might be one of my more like unique names, but real post. So anyways, when it came to the planner, it was just so obvious that it would be booked in balanced. And now that I'm talking about that and looking at the logo, the logo process was, oh my gosh, that was a lot because I'm a perfectionist. And so I hyper fixate on things like that and make them in my head so big because I'm like, it's so important. It's the vision, it's got to be exactly right. It's got to be the right thickness. It's got to be the right style. And I'm so grateful for one of my good friends and very talented graphic designers, page castener, because I've gone to her with every important logo. And she just did such a beautiful job. We had so many iterations of the logo. And I really love that this one has a line through it, separating the booked in balanced, almost like they're being divided by each other and tying them together. I knew I always wanted the book to be straight and stiff. And then the balance to be italicized and feel a little bit lighter. And then also where we were going to put in this cute little enzyme and make it feel like it had a home. And so she put it just right above the D. Like I know that maybe looking at it now, you're like, oh yeah, no, that looks perfect. Like I would have thought of that. But that's because the logo is so good that it makes you think that when we did not have a logo and you're looking at every single font that exists, that was a process. But I'm so happy with where we landed. It's literally perfect. I could not love it more. So shout out page. Thank you, my girl. I truly love this planner so much. And I feel like it has already made such a huge difference in my life. And I cannot wait to hear about the ways that it has become something that you use every day that you're like, how did I live without this?
