Dan Bongino delivers a passionate, fact-driven critique of current fears around artificial intelligence, dismissing alarmist narratives as reminiscent of past technological panics like Y2K. He contrasts the pragmatic, decisive leadership of President Trump with what he describes as Kamala Harris’s superficial and illogical approach to AI—illuminating her confusion about cloud computing and AI's basic definition. Bongino emphasizes tangible successes under the Trump administration, including a sharp decline in violent crime, a near-closure of the border, and record-breaking economic indicators like low unemployment and rising median incomes. He argues that these achievements prove a robust, results-oriented government is in place, while criticizing Democrats for emotional, ineffective policy responses—such as the infamous "angel moms" hearing where empathy replaces substance. Bongino also highlights the FBI’s meaningful success in capturing top fugitives and notes the irony of AI fears rising during a time of real, measurable progress. Ultimately, he calls on listeners to stay engaged in the upcoming midterms, framing the choice between leadership and chaos as critical to national well-being. The show blends humor, anecdote, and data to present a coherent argument: the U.S. is in a golden era of stability and progress, and voters must make a deliberate, informed choice to support effective governance.
All America, all the time, on the side of freedom and liberty, your voice of hope and
truth is here. The Bongino Report, PM, with Dan Bongino. Holy Moses, I come back from the weekend.
We're back on radio, and it's like all hell broke loose about AI, tech. I come back,
it's like Reverend Cain. Remember Reverend Cain from Poltergeist? We're all gonna die.
I was like, what? What did I. What did I miss? I'm gonna die!
Jim, did I miss. Did I miss something?
In case you don't know where the show is gonna go today, we are gonna do something revolutionary.
And if you don't sense or hear the dripping sarcasm in my voice, I'm sorry, I may have done
that wrong. We are going to rationally and reasonably process some information that came
in last week about AI, and we're gonna help. Help form a reasonable opinion or output without doing Reverend Cain or without doing the other
thing either. Like, hey, this is all great. We should just ignore guardrails and damn the
torpedoes, full steam ahead. But I come back. You know, I like to chat with producer Jim before the
show. He's my friend and all. I noticed on his ex-account this weekend, an ex-account, he was
doing what he always does, putting up photos of smoked meats, which he thinks is an art form.
I am not a smoker of fine. Fine meats. So I don't know. If you'd like to see what meat Jim was smoking, then you
can check him out on X at JJ Verde. But I come back today, and I'm like, dude, you know
what this reminds me of? The hell breaking loose this weekend? I'm a young buck, secret
service. That was buck with a B, so don't worry about FCC rules. I'm a young buck, although
I couldn't, you know, it'd be interesting. And yeah, I don't think we're allowed to say
that on a podcast. Yeah, but radio. So I go down to St. Simons Island. I had some experience in doing secret service motorcades,
you know, vehicles and cars and stuff. So I don't know what's happening like that. Was it the G8 in
St. Simons Island? I don't really remember. But they said, Dan, can you go train or help train
the locals in motorcade security? You know, we're going to need some help. I said, yeah, sure,
whatever, man. So I go down there, and it's like a three, four day exercise. And there was this
one local police officer who was a wonderful guy. He was not a knock. He was actually hilarious.
And every time we did an AOP, an assault on principle exercise, where, you know, you fake
an attack and they respond, you get the point, you know, practice, right? We would debrief
afterwards, and we would ask this guy, like, well, what do you think happened? He'd be
like, we were driving down the road, and we turned the corner, and then all hell broke
loose. And he would say it about every scenario. And this is what happened.
This weekend, I come back, and I'm like, I can't believe I was off the air. I should have done a
Saturday, Sunday show. Everyone's freaking out about AI. There are now camps set up.
I mean, opposing forces. I'm just going to tell you this part up front.
And I think we can all agree on this, especially in this audience. Thank the Lord. And I am not
my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, name in vain at all. I'm not kidding. Thank the Lord and the
voters that President Trump is in the White House and not Kamala Harris. While this debate about AI,
one camp of doomers, it's going to kill us all. The other camp, like, oh, we don't need any guard
rails. There's a, I promise there's a middle ground. Thank the Lord Kamala Harris is not in
charge right now. I was talking to, Teresa texted me, Jim, before the show. Teresa from Westwood,
you know, we make everybody part of the show. That's just what I do. Teresa works at Westwood
One. She texts me before the show. She's like, I'm not going to do this. I'm going to do this. I'm
like, you know what this reminds me of? Jim, this'll kick you in the gonads. This reminds me
of Y2K. Remember Y2K? When the year 2000 came up and they were like, the clocks can't handle it.
And everybody was going to die. Again, Reverend Cain. And none of that happened. We put up some
guard rails. We fixed the two to the four instead of, oh, oh, it became 2000. And almost nothing
happened at all because we're humans. And we
fixed the two to the four instead of, oh, oh, it became 2000. And almost nothing happened at all
because we fixed the two to the four instead of, oh, oh, it became 2000. And almost nothing happened
And we fixed the two to the four instead of, oh, oh, it became 2000. And almost nothing happened
stuff. And we've got a guy in the White House right now. And I'll play some cuts of President
Trump later on this. Who's a reasonable business guy. Who's like, are we all going to die? Well,
if we don't do anything, we could all die, but we are doing stuff. On the other side is AI. Great.
AI is absolutely fantastic. Potential to cure cancer, to cure HIV, to cure,
to get toe fungus, that stupid digger commercial on TV. I get under it every time.
I see it. I'm going to throw up. This is all like on the horizon, man. A digger guy. There'll be no
need for digger anymore. But there's a middle ground. Think about this. Think about this.
This person could be in charge right now. Kamala Harris. Jim was kind enough to pull some
absolute bangers. And I believe me, this is dripping.
Sarcasm, like blood from vampire's teeth. I, that sarcasm is thick with this one.
Here is, here is a, you know, what would have been president Kamala Harris.
Thank the Lord almighty. That's not the case. They made her the AI czar.
The AI czar. Here she is commenting on AI. And you want to talk about a absolutely brilliant,
tactical, political mind. Here's the great Kamala Harris dripping.
Sarcasm. It's explaining what AI is. You know, it's two letters. Artificial. Wow. Thank you for
that axiomatic, tautological, deep insight. And it stands for artificial. So it's intelligence
that's artificial. This is reminds me of like Ibram Kendi. Racist is a racist, the racist thing.
Here's Kamala Harris on AI. Imagine if she was in charge. Check this out.
And I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fan.
C thing. It's first of all, it's two letters. It means artificial intelligence, but ultimately
what it is, is it's about machine learning. And so the machine is taught. And part of the issue
here is what information is going into the machine that will then determine. And we can
predict then if we think about what machine, what information is going in, what then will be produced
in terms of decisions and opinions, um, that may be made through that process.
What, what just happened? What just happened? You ever see a lot of these
giffies on X? Like what just, what is going on here? Artificial intelligence is intelligence.
It's artificial. You know, like the machines, like the bus goes wheels and around,
and around and the machines learn stuff. Whoa. Thank you so much for those deep insights that
this to me is up there with the great, this is up there with, you know, I was hanging out. I didn't
do a weekend update, but maybe we'll get to it later. I got to hang out with family this weekend
and my nephew, I haven't seen in a long time. Nephew by marriage, but I love the kid. I've
known him since he's like two years old, you know, and it was my niece and we're watching football,
gym, you know, Texas big game, whatever. And my niece is there and my niece brings up Descartes
and she's like, I think therefore I am how it came up. I don't even know. Like this is up there with
Descartes and the great works of philosophy. I think therefore I am the machines. They learn
stuff and the intelligence that's artificial. You realize this lunatic could have been the
president right now while we've got people out there doing the Reverend Kane and we're all gonna
die. And you got the lady, the school bus, right?
Look at that. The clouds in the sky. What is going? Sorry. The mucus in the nose. Someone
call it nuts. This is like, I can't with this lady. I can't. This is an open for a Monday for
all time. You want this lady in charge Democrats instead of president Trump. Wait till I play the
clips of president Trump later, who you all left.
You lunatics think is crazy. He seems to be the only rational actor out there.
Watch what he says later. When I play his cuts compared to Kamala. That's cool, boss.
He's like, yeah, I mean, you know, this is a great technology. We need some safety guard rails.
We don't want China to beat us. You're like, wow. Sounds pretty rational to me.
Jim pulled this other gem president Kamala Harris. God forbid. Can you imagine?
Here she is after she told you that DRAI is stands. It's two letters folks. In case you didn't know that
it's not a comedy show, brother. I'm not trying to be funny. I'm not Eddie Murphy. We're all
funniest thing I've ever seen. I'm not, I just can't get over this. Like, can you imagine the
country we live in? So first she explained to you that AI is intelligence. It's artificial.
And it's two letters. Now, Jim pulled this one. This is Kamala Harris explaining to you how cloud
computing, you know, it's in like the cloud, like what in the cumulonimbus cloud, like are we
seeding the clouds or something? Like, do you mean like physical clouds? Here's genius Kamala
Harris. Imagine she's in charge with all this going on right now. Check this out.
So you're now no longer, are you necessarily keeping those private files in some file
cabinet that's locked in the basement of the house? It's on your laptop. And it's then therefore
up here in this cloud that exists above us, right?
It's no longer in a physical place.
No president Harris, God forbid. It actually is in a physical place. It's not in the ether.
Even the phantom zone in Superman one and two in the physical piece of like glass,
they sent out into the universe from who is it? Like,
Jarrell or Kyle, who's Kyle Superman. That was actually a physical, but on a piece of movie
strip at the time, like it is a physical place, like a data center. This lady doesn't know
anything. This is why, why am I bringing up president Kamala Harris? God forbid,
because there's an election coming up and I'm going to tie this into the end of the show.
Ladies and gentlemen, I've never said to you, Republicans are going to solve all your problems
ever, ever, ever. I have said to you over and over. However,
Republicans may not be the solution to all of your problems, but the cause of all your problems
are definitely Democrats. You have a choice coming up. You have a choice, which I will harp on today
throughout the show. And there is a cost to apathy to not showing up in these midterms.
You're going to have people like these people, Kamala Harris in charge,
Lindsay Clancy supporters. I'll play that at the end. Crazy videos coming up with Lindsay Clancy
supporters. I am white, but I don't participate in white. What do we do? What does that even mean?
I don't, aren't you obligated to provide a definition of what non-participating whiteness
means? What do you, why do you keep inventing stuff? We have an election coming up. You've
got choices to make. All right, back to serious time. This show is always an emotional roller
coaster. Believe me for me too. I've had physical jobs, grave digger, painter, all this,
I'm sitting there on a ladder, painting this lady's clothesline, like, you know, 30 feet tall
one day on this little, like mini ladder painted in the hots. I almost fell and died. Like whatever,
man, I'm just telling you, like I've been there out there, but this job is mentally exhausting
dealing with a lot of the stupidity on the left because serious time. Now this is, as I titled my
podcast today, you can always check it out on rumble at rumble.com slash Bongino. If you're
interested, you can check it out on rumble.com slash Bongino. And I will harp on that throughout
the radio show today. Folks, we have developed advanced technologies before we have nuclear
fission. We're working on nuclear fusion. Now there are different processes. One involves
fusing an atom. One involves splitting an atom, fission versus fusion, nuclear fission bombs.
We invented nuclear and
look, they use them to build bombs. Yeah. They also use it for nuclear medicine. They also use
it to power our society with nuclear power plants with any advanced technology. There's always going
to be a potential benefit and a potential downside. Some of those downsides are very
serious and this requires very serious people, unlike Kamala Harris and others. And thankfully
president Trump to evaluate ups and downs and come to a conclusion that benefits us all without
wiping out humanity.
Electricity. Almost magic at the time. No, when you've lived with electricity so long,
you take it for granted. Most of human history, there was no such thing as electricity as we know
it now. Flight. There were physicists early on, human beings will never fly. The physics don't
work. It looks to me like they pretty much worked, but you could crash, but you could crash.
This is the most important show we've done in a long time. AI, artificial intelligence. Thank you,
Kamala for pointing out. It's two letters is the most powerful technology. I'd argue in human
history, you're creating a super intelligence that we don't fully understand. So the only questions
are, what do we do with it? And how do we handle it?
Because we must get it right. We'll be right back.
Thankfully, thank the Lord. And I don't use his name in vain that president Trump and this
leadership team is in charge right now with all of this going on, whether it was AI,
the border explosion under president Biden, Russia, Ukraine, China, Taiwan,
the development of quantum computing as well. And I want that to get sidelined. Thankfully,
we've got a leadership team in there now through president Trump at the top that is willing to be
decisive and speak clearly, succinctly, and, and with ideas to the American people.
Now contrast that with yesterday's radio show. I hope you caught it where we opened up with,
you know, Kamala Harris. Imagine her in charge right now. Even saying it sounds like heresy.
Sounds like I want to like singe my tongue.
President Kamala Harris would be devastating. Devastating. You heard some of the audio I played
yesterday. Artificial intelligence. It's two, uh, two letters, two words. Yeah. Yeah. We can
count to two. We get it. We get it. And it's in the cloud and that's how it works. It's like
above your head. It's not above your head. Like the freaking sword of Damocles. It is not.
Cloud computing right now, maybe in space one day, but it's largely on the ground terrestrially,
and it's not going to fall on your head because it's in the cloud.
President Trump is decisive. And with all of this going on, I'm glad we've got a president
right now willing to make tough calls. Going to be a theme throughout today's show.
You give me a tough topic where there are, and I want you to hear this understandably,
very passionate opinions about Iran, flock cameras, FISA warrants, whatever it is,
president Trump, you ask him a question, producer Jim, am I wrong? He gives you an answer. You may
not like the answer, but you don't have to hear a flock camera. That's two words. The letters are FC
and it's like the school bus round and round. She's like throws words into, into like,
a salad, like, or like a cereal bowl, like, like mueslicks or something. And let's throw some
raspberries at the mueslicks. What? Didn't she do that with Ukraine too? She said, Ukraine is a
country and it's next to Russia. She's like, Ukraine, it's a country. And it begins with you.
Hence the U in crane, you know, like a crane, like it builds stuff like with the bus that brings the
people to build stuff. The workers come in the bus and they get on the crane in the U and it's like
a place, a country. And it's, it's over somewhere. I think you have to cross some water, but it's not
a puddle, like big ocean thing. And you're like, is this lady for real? She was a border zone. Have
you ever been to the border? I have not been to the border, she said, but I've never been to Europe,
oh, that's interesting. Are you the Europe czar too? I am not. So why would you make a dumb analogy?
Jim, you got to stop. You're making me laugh at the beginning. This is like serious stuff. I can't,
it's hard for me to ever get through this show because these people are so stupid.
They just make it so easy. They just give you ground balls. Ukraine's a country.
My point is president Trump, unlike the prior team under president Biden and
the under president Obama too, where you had Alejandro Mayorkas, you had Javier Baccaria,
some of you will get that. You had Susan Rice. These people are just not.
Secretary of health and education. I nominated Javier Baccaria.
That's real. That's a, he didn't even know his own secretary of health and human services.
That's not his name. It's Becerra. This was their leadership team. Their leadership team was,
was a pathetic group.
Of numbskulls. You've got people in charge. Now, the reason I bring it up is you have FBI directors.
Kash Patel. And listen, I'm not going to pretend to be totally objective on this. You know, I worked
with the director. We led the FBI team President Trump put in charge. But he was up on the hill
today, folks. And unlike prior administrations that were all talk, Obama had a pen and a phone,
all this stupid stuff. And everything they did was the inverse of what they said they were going to
do. Obamacare, pass Obamacare. We're going to lower costs. If you like your plan, you could
keep it. Everyone's plan got canceled and costs are through the roof. Everything the Democrats
tell you, they do the opposite. We're going to secure the border. That means 25 million people
plus are going to come in. Everything they tell you is like, remember Bizarro Superman from the
comics? We used this reference all the time in the 12 to 3 show. How Bizarro Superman, like
everything's backwards. That's the Democrats. That's not the case with President Trump. He will
give you an answer on anything because he's a leader. You may not like his decisions. That's
your, it's a Republican.
You're free to air your opinion, but I just don't accept that. I gave a speech last night. I'll go
into later and South of me in Florida in front of a really packed house. And it really warmed my
heart. When I got home, I hadn't felt better in months because I said at the end too, I don't
accept the tax on the man's character. I worked with him and he doesn't do the easy thing. He
does the right thing. He doesn't give stupid air and ask him about flock cameras. People are really
concerned about it. Understand me.
I don't know. I have to impanel so much, but he don't do, he don't do any of that.
So I just learned this this morning. I'm doing my podcast. You can check it out at 10 AM Eastern
or rumble rumble.com slash Bongino. If you'd like up to you, watch it on demand whenever you'd like.
However, I'm doing the podcast and director Patel earliest morning at about 9 30 AM had begun some
testimony up on Capitol Hill. Now I am, you know, full disclosure,
obviously friends with director Patel. I was colleague, we were colleagues together at the
FBI, but we don't talk every day. I mean, we just don't, he's got things going on. He's working,
you know, I don't want to bother him. I got my own thing going on. We'll talk occasionally.
And I found out something this morning, pretty fascinating to me that I want to, I want to give
him in the Trump administration credit for ladies and gentlemen, they have this thing at the FBI.
You've heard of, there've been movies made about it. They have a most wanted list. Now I asked
the, to the audience, you know, it's always better to ask a question to make an assertion sometimes.
Why do you think they have a most wanted list? How do you get on the most wanted list?
Well, I'll answer it for you because there are some liberals listening. You don't want to give
the Trump administration credit for anything. You have to do really bad stuff or don't commit
federal crimes. They're all bad. But if you ripped the mattress tag off and sold it for
Bitcoin, you shouldn't have gotten, and maybe made $5,000. Don't commit a crime. However,
you're probably not Jim fair enough. You think, yeah, I mean, you weren't, did you, did you ever
serve as an FBI agent, Jim? Or are you an attorney? You did not. Okay. But you're reasonably confident
because you're super intelligent guy. The mattress tag plus the 5,000 Bitcoin is probably
not going to get you on a list. Cool. You know, cash, right? You know them well. Okay. Okay. So
you got to do really bad stuff. Folks, they're usually the 10 most wanted because we, people
just like round numbers and we have, you know, 10 figures, 10 toes, right? I found this out this
morning at the hearing. I found this out this
morning that apparently, uh, director Patel and the FBI have bagged all 10, which I'm reasonably
confident has never been done before, like ever. So I heard this this morning. You should hear it
too. Check this out. In fact, Mr. Chairman, I'm proud to announce today. And I hate to correct
you. We haven't captured nine of the top 10, most individuals on our list. We've captured 10
just this past weekend. We captured a thug down in Venezuela who is on our most wanted list and
on the run for years. He has been captured, apprehended, and arrested. And he's been
apprehended and is on his way back to the United States of America. That's 10 of 10. Nobody in the
FBI history has done that. This year is just another example of how this FBI is capturing
literally the worst of the worst all around the world. On top of that, we've captured six of the
most wanted fraudsters around the world. This is how crazy this is. And by crazy, I mean, crazy
good. I mean, like really crazy good. Okay.
Because they bagged all 10 on the most wanted list, they created another most wanted list for
fraudsters and then got six of those. Folks, the Trump administration, the Trump administration,
I can make the case to you, and I will in this show today, has been so successful so fast on not
just the crime numbers, the lowest violent crime rate in 90 years, 90 years. I'm only 51. That's 49
years prior to the year I was born in 1974. That he's done so much so fast, closing the border,
crushing violent crime, bringing back manufacturing, codifying your tax cuts in the big,
beautiful bill, dumping voluminous amounts of government red tape that I really think they've
almost been victims of their own success. That's why you see some of this apathy set in like,
well, well, this stuff then, okay, well,
not everything's going to happen in two years. Some stuff requires process that elongates the
process, but it doesn't mean it isn't happening. I've said this over and over, but the record this
president has to run on for the party, he not running again, but other Republicans are. Folks,
this could be an eight year record, not a two year record. You say, well, Dan,
he's been in there six. Well, yeah, but the four years in between president Biden and the
tyrannical Democrats undid most of the stuff in the first four years. So I'm just saying it's two.
Here was another component of the hearing. It was going on while I was on the show. So you're
hearing it on the radio show, which airs later. Of course, here was cash Patel on one of our
initiatives. Again, through president Trump's leadership, we got in there and we're like,
Mr. President, we're going to crush violent crime. He's like, do it. Respect the constitution.
Whatever tool you have, you have my full support. Whatever you need to do, go do it. Bring me
criminals, bring them, put them in.
I don't care if they're state arrests, local arrests, tribal arrests. I don't care. Get me
bad guys. And one of the test projects early on, you're going to hear director Patel. He testified
earlier this morning about this was operation Viper. They love cool names. They don't name it
like a operation strawberry shortcake. They always name it like some cool name. Get people
operation Viper here in Memphis. This is what happened is how it started. Check this out.
You recall, um, I was educated by you and your colleagues in Tennessee during the confirmation
process that Memphis had the highest per capita homicide rate in the country. And I said, if we
were, if I was confirmed, we would do something about that. And the president stood up his task
force, both in Washington, DC and Memphis, but the FBI led the efforts, uh, prior to that. And
during the task force through operation Viper and what we did and operation Viper, by the way,
is deployed across at least 25 major cities across the country. It is our violent crime
initiative task force that goes into these urban environments. And we're going to do a lot of
and seeks out ground-level intelligence to work up Title III's and search warrants
to not just go in and do visible surveillance and visible operations,
but we build a systematic campaign to collect intelligence
and drive out the actual root causes of the crime of gang warfare,
which was the problem plaguing Memphis and the problem plaguing localized cities across America.
We were able to apprehend not just the gangbangers and their firearms.
We were able, like we did in Pennsylvania and Philadelphia in the Weymouth Street Gang,
we literally uprooted an entire city block and eliminated that entire street gang.
We used that same concept in Memphis, and we're going to continue to do that
to move guns at rapid rates, to find children that were missing for years,
and also, most importantly, to reduce the homicide rate
and return Memphis to the great city that it was.
Folks, I am immensely, immensely thankful to this president
for giving me the opportunity, allowing me the opportunity to participate in that.
And I am immensely grateful for his leadership in letting us do our jobs.
That drug market Director Patel just described in the Philadelphia AOR,
Area of Responsibility Field Office, that had plagued that neighborhood for years,
and nobody did squat about it.
It'd be a rest here and there.
We said, shut it down, the whole thing down.
And we went in there.
And in conjunction with the excellent Philly PD, we shut that down.
And I was damn proud to be part of it.
And you can thank this Trump administration for its leadership
and its willingness to do the right thing and not the easy thing.
More coming up next.
We'll be right back.
I also want to address, at some point in today's show,
what they're framing as a hearing yesterday up on Capitol Hill
or hearings with Treasury Secretary Besson, FBI Director,
Director Patel.
These are not hearings, folks.
They are social media filming sessions for hapless, helpless, ridiculous politicians
with the IQ of a speckled toad, a sloth.
But what is the point to these things anymore?
You had the FBI Director and the Treasury Secretary up on the Hill yesterday
in what, you know, doomers and gloomers are painting as it is.
It's an AI crisis.
There's all these things going on.
And instead of asking him questions, the Treasury Secretary. about, is the economy resilient? Uh, you know, you get the Dr. Evil approach. Is it true? You
forgot to tie your shoelace. The FBI director, you know, this encounter terrorism, public safety,
no, no. The questions were about like, uh, how do you feel about the hockey team? It was just
like the dumbest thing I've ever seen. And the worst part about this whole thing is when you
have a hearing about a really serious issue, like the illegal immigration crisis, and you have
angel moms up on Capitol Hill who believe me, don't want that designation. They're called the
angel moms because they're mothers to children that are no longer here
that were killed in incidents involving illegal aliens in this country. Not undocumented,
not undocumented.
Not undocumented. There's a way to get documents. Jim, do you know what it is? You could go through
the immigration process. They're not undocumented. We're not doing that.
Okay. They are here illegally and they were aliens to this country. Therefore they are
illegal aliens. I'm sorry if the English, English language offends you, but we speak plainly on the
show. So there's a hearing with angel moms up on Capitol Hill who,
you would just think if you had an ounce of sympathy or empathy, reason or common sense in your body,
you may be a little sympathetic to. They've lost their children. What else could you possibly want
to hear? No, not the, not the Democrats. I want you to listen to this exchange up on the hill
between a representative, Mary Gay Scanlon, a Democrat,
within the angel moms in front of her. And you would just think again, if you had in your DNA,
a shred of decency that you would say, Hey, listen, there are differences of opinion on
how to handle border policy. I understand. However, this is an unquestionable tragedy
and abomination that should never happen. No, no, no, no. Mary Gay Scanlon's a Mary,
Gay Scanlon's like, Hey, uh, guys, listen, I've got a, uh, Facebook live session. I need to do in
a couple of minutes with, uh, we're going to be discussing the state of patent infringement with
a, she's just too, she's like, what the hell are we even doing here? This is your, this is the
Democrat party. The lady's a Democrat and there's no like objections. Like there's a, this was the,
almost every Democrat shared this view yesterday. We don't need to hear,
from these angel moms. What could they possibly have to offer? What for real? Oh yeah. For real.
Jim play that cut. You know, my Republican colleagues are running this hearing for a
record fifth time, not because they have new evidence or research or legislation to discuss
about sanctuary cities. Um, but because they have nothing else to say for themselves. Uh,
they keep returning to the tactics that brought them into office by campaigning,
on fear and making phony pledges to detain and deport the worst of the worst. But
we now have almost two years of proof that that's not what they're doing.
Did that exchange just, is that real? Like I said, you are a politician trying to garner
public support, Mary Gay Scanlon. And your approach is to say, Hey man, you guys are
campaigning on fear in front of a group of mothers who lost their kids. Now I know Jim's a father and
I am many of you in the listening audience are, I'm just going to throw this out there.
If you had to rank your fears, I can pretty much speak for everyone where fear numbers
are. But if you had to rank your fears, I can pretty much speak for everyone where fear numbers are.
Number one is please God, don't let my kids die before me. No less killed or murdered or taken
by an incident involving someone who shouldn't even be here. But Mary Gay Scanlon's like,
fear, smear, you crazy, silly Republicans. Why? No, I got to be here the fifth time
to deal with this. I know it's crazy that you're a member of the house of rep,
where you're asked to actually represent America. I know this is crazy. And they're actually asking
you to fix a problem. Like people shouldn't be here killing, killing people like killing them
because they're dead. Why do we have to go a fifth time? Why? Gee, I don't know. Maybe because
people keep dying. I'm just, I don't know. I'm just throwing that out there. Now, of course,
stupid comments like that and others from the Democrats, folks, this is who they are.
They are who they tell you they are because they tell you all the time. This isn't my words.
We're just playing for you. Audio clips of Mary Gay Scanlon's own words.
One of the participants in yesterday's hearing, oh, it was Elizabeth Carter, had a
powerful and appropriate response to, I'm not going to say the idiocy. I'm an idiocy.
I'm going to say the evil of the Democrats up on the Hill yesterday,
condemning a hearing where we could hopefully try to solve a problem of illegal aliens who
should not be here being involved in the death of an innocent American citizens, kind of a problem.
Check this out. Here's the voice of reason. Listen to this. And I'm sorry if you're suffering. I'm
sorry on behalf of the government, we are working to try to fix it. Unfortunately for the country,
the Democrats remain as committed,
as they have ever been to open borders. Thank you for being here.
I feel like I have to say as a lifelong Democrat, I am ashamed of what my party is doing.
Ma'am, we're ashamed too. It's not my party. And I'm sorry, it's yours.
I would hope someday you would reconsider that, but you have been through enough and I'm not here
to make political arguments to you. I'm just, I'm not here to make political arguments to you. I'm
just here to tell you, I am so deeply sorry for your loss and cannot possibly imagine your pain
and to be candid, I don't ever want to know that pain. Unfortunately, this is who these people are.
They'll make all kinds of silly, ridiculous,
obscene arguments about a solvable problem. Oh, it's not solvable. People been trying to fix the
border for years. Yeah. President Trump got in there. And I think in a week or two, the border
was effectively closed. Like we went from 25 million illegals entering the country under the
Biden administration to zero illegal migrants admitted into the country. 25 million, zero,
25 million. There's a big difference. You know what the difference is? It's 25 million, 25 million.
You can't go less than zero. It's not a Robert Downey Jr. movie. Some of you get that.
It's you can't go. It's a zero. That's,
very rarely or for any problems in government ever solved. They're just mitigated because we're
human beings. There's always going to be problems, scarcity, resource scarcity. President Trump
actually solved the problem. Hey man, 25 million illegals. That's a lot of people.
Can we get it to zero? Yes, sir. It's at zero problem solved,
but they'll tell you these ridiculous, absurd and obscene arguments like, well,
illegal aliens commit crimes.
That a lower rate, but then I'll throw out some random than, um, white Irish males between the
age of 18 and 19 and a half who live on the West end of Manhattan Island. They'll throw out any
number to get past the fact that the crime they committed is being in the country illegally. And
listen, folks, if you're going to send us a nasty Graham, cause you're a liberal listening to this
show. Hey, that's sympathetic. My wife is an immigrant to the United States. She wouldn't
want to do this thing. Jim, have you heard of it called the immigration process? This is a process.
So please spare me the nonsense. I'm not interested in your stupidity. I've been through it. Not you.
So if you're some like, you know, 35 year old green haired Karen out there screaming into the
radio, you don't know squat, take it. And Jim says, we're not allowed to tell you where to put things,
but you can put it there. You'll guess.
They don't belong here at all. That's the problem. So before I play this cut, that kind of some,
you know what, play it. And I want to give you an analogy and maybe it'll make sense here
as to how stupid this argument is about, well, but they broke the law. So we should allow it
because after they break the law, maybe they won't break the law again. Like that's not a
thing. You ever see Molly's game, that movie, you would, it goes just, well, I'm hosting this
gambling game. Am I breaking the law? He goes, but don't break the law. I'm not breaking the law.
Don't break the law while you're breaking the law. She goes, am I breaking the law?
Oh, I don't think so. But don't break the law. You just said I wasn't breaking.
a law. Don't run a stop sign if God forbid you're
dumb enough to drive home drunk. Don't break the law while you're breaking the law, but don't break
the law at all. Check this out. People keep mentioning that we're not deporting the worst
of the worst, that we're deporting people who don't have criminal records. Mr. Kumar did not
have a criminal record before Billy and Jenny were killed. He was supposed to keep a log book.
He was supposed to have another driver in the cab with him. The first time he got caught not
doing those things was the night he killed my son and daughter-in-law. We are rolling the dice
with our children rather than say, follow the federal law.
And apply to immigrate into the U.S. from your country of origin.
Why do they have to apply inside our borders, putting our children at risk?
Ma'am, sounds like common sense to me. Again, my family's been through it.
Imagine taking this approach anywhere else. Imagine you're the owner of a building with
some proprietary property. You're the owner of a building with some proprietary property.
You're the owner of a
commercial secret, whatever. You're a cybersecurity firm. And you have an access system. You know,
Jim, like the passes, you probably have one in the studio there. That's how you get it,
or a key, whatever. It doesn't matter. And you get a guy who sneaks in behind someone and gets
into your building. And you find out, you're like, hey, man, who's that guy with the weird
looking hat on? I haven't seen that guy. And he's typing away at your cybersecurity computer.
And someone comes over with pink hair or whatever, Becky or Karen or whatever. Listen,
my name's Dan, so you can make fun of my name. I'm just throwing it out there.
And says, no, no, no, Jim, don't worry. Don't worry. This subject here may have trespassed,
but we have no evidence that they've actually done any additional crimes. So we're just going
to let this pass. How does it? Jim's shaking his head. Yeah, that kind of makes sense. Yeah,
it kind of does. You know why? Because stupid is a choice and we choose not to be stupid.
That's why. We'll be right back.
Sometimes strange things happen. And sometimes they're, they're just explainable, strange things
like a technical gremlin. And you're like, Dan, we can't hear it's rare, but technical things
happen. Sometimes people text me in the, you know, during the live show and they'll, you know,
fact check some liberal for us on the air. And you're like, this is great. When, and, and alive
to difference with a live chat for those who are, you know, digital natives. And, you know,
not that long ago too, until I learned about live streaming is a live stream is nothing more than
basically a show on the internet where people can participate in this thing called the chat room.
So it's like having like on radio, we would do callers. It's like having, in this case,
we had 35,000 people at 35,000 callers at the same time, not only talking to you,
but talking to each other. So I'm doing the show this morning and it's, it's about 10 Oh five
Eastern time. So I'd been going for about five minutes.
And I keep my phone at the desk, you know, God forbid there's a family emergency or something
like that. And I see a Jim, did you witness this live? Did you catch this whole thing?
I did. I see my phone ring and I look over and the audience sees me looking it's it's on X. If
you want to see the video of it, I'm at D Bon Gino on X. You can see the actual video. It was a
president Trump. I'm not flexing. Who cares? I don't know. I'm not, it's not a flex. I'm just
telling you.
What happened? Because I've, I don't, Jim, you and I known each other over five years now.
I don't recall another time where I've left the live radio show, right? You were with me or a live
podcast ever. But I said to the audience, Hey, I'm the president. I'm not going to send him the
voicemail. Yeah, Mr. President, I'll get, but you know, he's kind of busy. Like if he takes five
minutes to call you, it's kind of a BS.
Like Joe Biden said a big freaking deal. He may really want something right. Exactly. Jim was like
on the dump button there. No, no, no. We're allowed to. It's okay. It's okay. I'm not going
to use the, uh, Joe Biden thing. So I, I, I leave the show and take the call. And amazingly the 35,000
people who I love to death hung around. I, cause I didn't tell him who it was right away. So I come
back and I'm like, Hey, I had to take that call. It was the president. And he wanted me to tell you.
And he said, I'm not going to use the Joe Biden thing. I'm not going to use the Joe Biden thing.
He was serious as a heart attack. He's like, tell your audience how much I really appreciate them
and love them. And I said, of course, Mr. President, it was just an amazing moment, man.
I just, um, that's why I just have such profound, you know, respect for, for the man. He just,
he doesn't, what does he have to call me for? I'm not, you know, I I'm not, I'm not the FBI
deputy anymore, but he doesn't have to call me for anything, but he just does because he's just a
good guy. And it was ironic.
It was ironic because that's going to be the theme of today's show. Please don't go anywhere.
It was ironic because we were talking right before the interruption,
the welcome interruption. It sounds negative. I don't mean it that way.
We were talking about news. That's kind of a big deal.
And I said to you the other day in the radio show and the podcast that I think, and I don't say this
to be silly about it. I really think the Trump administration has almost become political.
Speaking victims of their own success. They did so much good stuff so fast that I think people
just forgot about. I folks, I'm not messing around. I say that because the stuff that came
out just yesterday alone, the poverty numbers, median household income in the United States,
the jobless claims numbers, the retail sales numbers, the Atlanta fed GDP predictions were
so amazing.
For the economy folks, their, their numbers, their facts is what does Shapiro say? They don't care
about your feelings. They're facts that if it were a Democrat president, this would be called
the golden era for the U S economy. Hands down jobless numbers, all time lows, poverty rate,
all time lows, median household income, people making money all time high. I'm not telling you
there's not issues. We still were trying to get a lid on inflation. Interest rates went up a little
bit. I'm just telling you like the numbers that came out yesterday were staggering.
I'm telling you like the numbers that came out yesterday were staggering. GDP growth predictions from the Atlanta fed 5.1, 5.1. We haven't seen those numbers. You got to wipe out
the whole COVID thing, but you haven't seen those numbers outside of COVID since Reagan, since the,
you know, morning in America, as we're Reagan 149 States, we haven't seen those numbers.
They're not deniable. They're actual numbers. So we're going to be talking about this during
today's show today, because that's ironically the time he called. And I told him, I am Mr.
President. I'm going to be talking about this during today's show today, because that's ironically the time he called.
President. I was just going over how some Republicans running for office around the
country and this radio shows on all around the country. Some Republic, not all, but some of them
are whining out. They're like, well, you don't have a met. What do you mean? You don't have a
message. What are you talking about? What are you talking? I don't understand what you're talking
about. You don't have a message to run on. I ran for office, bring it up again later,
but it didn't work out for me. I wish I could have run on this stuff.
Crime rates, the lowest they've been in U.S. history. Murder rates, lowest they've been in
U.S. history. Border effectively closed. Jobless claims. We want, we don't want people to be
jobless. Sounds like kind of a big deal. Can you hear that over and over in today's show?
Now, contrast that with who would have been in charge and what
the economy and the border and street crime would have looked like.
If Kamala Harris would have been in charge, the wheels on the bus go round and round.
It's up in the cloud, like over above your head. The cloud, no, no, no, it's not.
I've never been to the border, but I've never been to Europe. You never been to Europe? You
should check that out. But last time I checked, you weren't the Europe czar, you were the border
czar. Maybe you should go to the border. Just an idea. I've been to the border. I'm not the border
czar. Just an idea. Just an idea. Just go check it out. I flew out to the Phoenix, Arizona office with the FBI.
Why did I do that? Because sometimes you want to see conditions and hear from people on the ground
how it looks. Jim, probably a good idea, correct? You know, people work for you as subordinates and
report to you their direct or indirect reports. Probably a good idea to hear from them what's
actually going on. I'm just throwing that out there, correct? You know, Jim doesn't work for
me. He works with me, but we work together. Kamala Harris's policy is blocking Jim's number on the
phone. I talk to Jim. Well, he's a producer of your show. Eh, I never been to my show. Well,
you should be. You're the show czar. You got a choice, man. You've got a choice in the midterms,
just like you had a choice nearly two years ago, and you made the right pick in President Donald
Trump. Thank you. Or we would not be in this economic condition. This is the golden era of
economics. Well, the left-wing media told me otherwise. They're lying to you.
Just look up the numbers. Folks, rarely does a radio host tell you,
don't believe me.
fact check i'm not telling you i'm lying i'm certainly not i'm telling you the truth but i
don't expect you to do trust me bro don't trust me and go look it up yourself you're gonna see
i'm telling you the truth i'll give you the links as the show goes on today for the just stunning
numbers that came out yesterday or you could have had these people in charge now jim you know
jim's always on the computer and it's in a dark way i don't know what he's doing over there i'm
not suggesting it's anything illegal or weird he just finds stuff no one else seems to find
i don't know where he's getting it from i have no idea some of you who listen to our old 12 to 3
show some of you are nodding your heads like i remember that i do too there's a new movie coming
out jim found a trailer about and the movie's about this you want to talk about an incredible
new product right jim an explosive technology it it's going to revolutionize the ai industry
you
i'm sorry don't laugh at your own jokes it's your joke jim so i can laugh but it's a movie
and it's about this product that's up there with like nuclear fission it's going to be really
powerful it's not an open ai product but the namesay it's called um chat djt it's a crazy
bro i mean this thing's going to be amazing so jim found a trailer there's actually a movie about it
that's how transformative this technology is going to be so hat tip producer jim for another
great job finding this um and by the way this is
not producer jim or sean farish this is definitely donald trump and a movie trailer guy winky winky
check this out coming to theaters this halloween joe biden put one person in charge of an emerging
technology javier baccaria uh no no he found someone with an even lower iq breaking barriers
involves breaking things and when you break something you get cut
he put kamala harris in charge of the scariest tech yet ai is kind of a fancy thing it's first
of all it's two letters it means artificial intelligence but the tech titans raised the
alarm then to wake up one day and and discover that someone used our our model to kill a bunch
of people and realizing their fears kamala did lose track of it and it's then therefore up here
in this cloud that exists above us she had unleashed chat djt you know there's this whole
i talked with somebody once who said you know if you just look at where the the the stars are in
the sky don't look them as just random things if you just look at them as points look at the
constellation what does it show you what does it show you what a stupid question but we've talked
a lot of stupid questions you do this a lot you know you're in the presence of the greatest ai in
the history of the world chat djt artificial intelligence the most intelligence but you are
a genuine lack of intelligence a very stupid person chat djt nightmare on lib street quiet
piggy rated mas a make america smart again that was definitely definitely not producer jim and
the great sean farish you know from bongino report pm it definitely was not that was that was president
trump and uh movie trailer guy who does those winky winky nod nod that's dude that's great i can i can
laugh because it's not my joke as you guys are really i have to ask jim's like i had to ask him
because this happened one time on the show farish does such a good imitation of donald trump's voice
i had to ask because you know the president's pretty good with us was he like part of this
that was sean because the time what was it our second year on the air or my birthday or something
jim got a bunch of anniversary so i'm like laughing so much about this thing it was our first
anniversary and jim got president trump to call in and i thought it was sean farish because the
voices sound so much alike folks again you know we have some you know some fun lighthearted moments
on the show but the point i made is this year and i mean it from you know the bottom of my
sometimes broken and torn apart politics is a lot of vicissitudes in life ups and downs and hills
and valleys but i'm telling you based on objective facts as a guy who doesn't get into pollyanna
utopia stuff but doesn't get into doomerism either on net on net you are living right now
in the golden age of republican politics the jobs numbers the poverty numbers the
crime numbers going down the border under control i you know i covered this earlier in the podcast
come up again later hitachi just moved something like 500 million dollars in manufacturing back to
the united states we're building stuff again you know the kind of jobs we're talking about
you've got electricians in loudoun county virginia working on compute in data centers
they're making 250 000 a year this is a good thing i'm telling you this is an amazing thing
i haven't played that one in a while yeah you're getting down the list of old elements
and again i'm not forcing any of these things down anyone so if your community is good for you it's
good for you if it's not it's not it's your call man you live in your own neighborhoods i can only
speak for mine but when you objectively look at where we are now and don't miss this show today
because we're gonna lay this stuff out and i'm by the way a lot of the stuff i'm gonna put up
is reporting from like reuters which is not a
maga outlet it's if anything left-leaning reporting on numbers u.s poverty rate dips
to lowest on record the reports from two days ago it's not from the joe biden era
it sounds like a big deal because it is there is a lot there is a christmas stocking full of good
things to run on in these midterms no apathy get out vote bring 10 people with you we'll be right
back
Bungino.
Podcast Summary
Key Points:
Dan Bongino critiques the exaggerated fear surrounding AI, comparing it to the Y2K panic and arguing that guardrails and reasonable policies are essential.
He contrasts President Trump’s pragmatic, decisive leadership with Kamala Harris’s perceived lack of technical understanding and absurd analogies, such as AI being "in the cloud" or "in the sky."
Bongino highlights dramatic improvements under the Trump administration, including a drop in violent crime, a closed border, and strong economic indicators like low unemployment and rising incomes.
He emphasizes that AI, while powerful, is not a threat to humanity when properly governed and that the real danger lies in unregulated or poorly understood technology.
Bongino mocks the Democratic approach to border and immigration policy, citing a hearing with "angel moms" where emotional appeal replaces factual discussion.
He credits the FBI under Director Kash Patel with arresting 10 of the top 10 most wanted individuals globally, showcasing a significant law enforcement success.
The show frames a choice for voters in the upcoming midterms, arguing that supporting Democrats risks policy chaos and continued harm to national security and economy.
Bongino concludes with a lighthearted but pointed reference to a fictional "Chat DJT" movie trailer, symbolizing a humorous yet serious point about the transformative potential of AI under responsible leadership.
Summary:
S. is in a golden era of stability and progress, and voters must make a deliberate, informed choice to support effective governance.
FAQs
Dan Bongino argues that AI is a powerful technology with both benefits and risks, and that we need reasonable guardrails to ensure safety without overreaching. He believes that President Trump's leadership provides a balanced, rational approach to AI regulation compared to what he sees as the absurd or hysterical views of Democrats.
He draws a parallel between the AI fear and the Y2K panic, stating that both were overblown. In Y2K, people feared the world would end, but it was resolved with simple technical fixes. Similarly, he argues that fears about AI are exaggerated and that we’ve already made progress in managing risks through sensible policies.
He criticizes Kamala Harris for her simplistic and inaccurate explanations of AI, such as saying it's 'in the cloud' or that it's just 'two letters.' He finds these statements naive and misleading, suggesting they reflect a lack of technical understanding and depth.
He asserts that President Trump has taken decisive, practical actions to address national security issues like AI, border control, and crime, contrasting this with what he sees as the inaction and confusion of previous administrations.
He claims that under President Trump, the U.S. economy is in a 'golden era' with record-low unemployment, poverty, and crime, and that these improvements are measurable and factual, contrasting them with the perceived decline under previous leadership.
He references a case where a man without a criminal record killed two family members, arguing that it's illogical to deport non-criminals while the real danger remains unaddressed — a point he uses to criticize Democrats’ approach to border policy.
