Bloating, Rosacea, Eczema & Food Sensitivities: What’s Actually Causing It?

Elizabeth A. Lure’s journey began in childhood with eczema, asthma, and gut issues, later compounded by OCD and rapid weight gain at age 13. Desperate for solutions, she adopted extreme diets, including vegetarianism and the 80/10/10 fruitarian diet, which initially helped but eventually led to severe bloating, chronic constipation, and loss of her menstrual cycle. Testing revealed severe H. pylori, SIBO, mast cell activation, and 15 types of parasites, but aggressive killing protocols and cleanses only worsened her condition, costing her thousands of dollars and leading to hospital visits. After years of suffering, she designed her own 90-day protocol focused on restoring bowel function and expanding her diet, which successfully healed her gut and improved her physical performance. Later, moving to Miami triggered a relapse from chronic mold toxicity, causing thyroid dysfunction, hormone imbalances, anxiety, and joint pain. This led her to FDN training, where she learned to use comprehensive testing to uncover root causes. Her healing approach prioritizes nervous system support, drainage, and gentle restoration over aggressive treatments, a philosophy she now applies in her practice. She helps women in their 30s to 50s through functional testing and her 90-day program, emphasizing that true healing requires addressing the whole body, not just symptoms or pathogens.

She specializes in using functional lab testing to uncover root causes behind gut dysfunction, hormone imbalances, and metabolic slowdown, helping women who feel like their bodies are no longer responding. Elizabeth has worked with high-level athletes, performers and thousands of women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s to restore energy, rebuild metabolism, and achieve sustainable results. Her work is rooted in her own health journey where she overcame complex gut and metabolic challenges and developed the approach she now uses with her clients. She now leads women through her 90-day whole body transformation program focused on long-term root cause healing. Elizabeth, thank you so much for joining me today. Thank you so much for having me today. I'm so grateful. Yeah. Well, let's start with a little bit of your story. You know, I dove into it a little bit in the bio, but I know it's a lot more complex, and I'm really excited to hear about it. Absolutely. I'm going to do my best to make it short and sweet, but basically I struggled with health issues since I was a little girl. When I was born, I had ex-memorization all over my face and body. I was put on singular for bad asthma. I had my nebulizer all the time, but gut health, none of that was a thing. And when I was 13 years old, I actually bumped into a girl at school, and she had lice all of the time. When I bumped into her, that triggered something that really just impacted my life forever. I got chronic OCD. I wouldn't go back to school. I was put on anti-depressants. I was homeschooled, and I gained over 50 pounds in one year. I was doing cognitive behavior therapy. I was sitting there eating my feelings away. I just, I didn't know what to do because the OCD was something that I have never dealt with before. Over a little bit of time, I ended up getting off the medication, and I got myself back to school, a different school, and I started working on my health. I was really overweight. My friend was vegetarian. So I'm like, why not? She looks great. Let's go vegetarian. So I did. I did not do it the right way. Special case cereal, subway salads, not the right way. But I did. Went to my first workout class. I was very out of shape. This was before I went vegetarian, and I couldn't even make it through five minutes. I was in the bathroom. I was about to throw up. I was so out of shape. So that's when I went and focused it on the nutrition, and with the vegetarian, and with dance dance revolution, I lost my first 25 pounds. And that was like, I started feeling good. My skin started clearing up because of course, like the dairy was coming away, which is a sensitivity of mine. And that was really kind of the start of my health and fitness journey. Because I think of my OCD, I have that dogmatic approach. So I'm like, if I went vegetarian, why not go vegan and then go raw vegan? So I ended up over the next few years. I got myself, you know, I was at a good weight. I felt confident again. I was back in school. But I was still having these ongoing gut issues like chronic constipation. I would, my cycle was very regular. I'll smelling gas like you name it. So I found the 80s and 10 diet. And if you don't know what that is, it is basically like a fruitarian diet. It's 80% carbs, 10% fat, 10% protein. So an example would be breakfast, 10 to 15 bananas lunch, like five mangoes in size of my head, dinner, large salad. I mean, you think of a serving of a salad for a big party. That would be one serving, like two pounds of spinach, you name it. And for the first year, and I was 16 years old, for the first year, I was feeling, yeah, I was only 16. But I was like, my parents were very supportive. We'll just say that. But basically, for sure, started feeling better. My digestion felt lighter. I did the high fat roll with all the nuts and seeds before. And that wasn't working for me. But I was feeling good. I was spending so much time meal prepping and all of that. But one year into this, I went into college and one year, and I woke up and I looked six months pregnant. And I mean, this was before I was even drinking a cup of water. And I went to every GI doctor that made me feel crazy. I was dismissed. I now lost my cycle. So that was another thing. Chronic constipation. The bloating never went it away. Even jogging pants would hurt me. So I spent, I would say a good close to $30,000 over the next few years on top of going to master herbalists, working with all the people in the raw food industry, doing every type of gut cleanse. You name it. I found one guy who did stool testing. He found out that I had severe HPI lory at SIBO, mass cell activation on top of that. My HPI lory was a 12. Like a 12. And you guys know like 1.4 I think is like, you know, good. I was a 12. No matter what I did, I got worse. I had 15 types of parasites. I did not know the herbal way. So they did all of the medications. They killed protocols. They did the triple therapy for the HPI lory. I was going to school for my degree in physiology, making every protocol I could sitting in my car crying, looking six months pregnant, having severe reactions. And after going through all the die off, all the parasites would rehatch. And I would be back to square one and chronic pain. So I'm over here doing my college years, gallbladder cleanses. You name it. Like every lexate, every protocol making myself like, I was in my own experience, experiment when it came to it. I even went to monofruit islands. So two months, I lived off of 50 bananas a day because it was supposed to be cleansing and healing for your gut because it's one ingredient. So my health just got worse and worse and worse. And I went to this one last place after having over 150 colonics with black coming out of me. I went to this one last place and it was supposed to clean out your small intestine. You drink this, this liquid cleanse, they let you want to be changed to and you're supposed to release all the mucoyed plaque, okay? I couldn't release nothing. They thought I had an intestinal blockage. I was in a hotel room in Georgia with my dog. My mom flew down. They sent me to the hospital and I had a scan done to see if I had a blockage and I sat there in my car and I said, Mom, I am done. I have spent the last years killing everything, cleansing everything. It shouldn't be this hard. I said, I'm done killing. I am going to make my 90 day protocol because it takes 90 days to not only kill parasites but kill the eggs and so that they wouldn't come back. And I made my bulletproof plan to get my bowels working, to get myself back onto a normal food off the raw vegan because I could not digest that either. And in 90 days, I went from chronic floating constipation, pain, you name it, to having the best bow movements full diet expansion. My marathon went from a 505 trying to run it with all these issues to a 335. Wow. And I was like, wow, I can heal myself. I can heal people. I can heal anybody now. And after that, I graduated college. I went to LA. I became a trainer at Equinox and you know, I was doing my marathon, doing all of that and I decided we'll just kind of push forward. I'm like, I always wanted to build my body. So I'm going to stop the marathon running and I became a bodybuilder. I spent a good five years bulking up to, let's say, 6,000 calories a day. I was lifting, swatting over 300 pounds. I bulked up to 180 pounds. I fell in love with myself because I was overcoming my eating disorder too. I cut, I lost 50 pounds sustainably and that's when I launched my business on social media with more macro based nutrition. And I was helping people with their diet and supplements and transform their body. And when COVID hit, everything shifted overnight, I lost my business because no one had a gym. And I started doing these lives and talking about my health and healing journey. And I started getting clients with all these complex cases, all these chronic gut issues, spending thousands of dollars going everywhere, not knowing what to eat. And I said, you know what? I am going to change everything and I'm going to focus on healing women, but specifically women going through period menopause, post menopause because I lost my hormones. I got everything back naturally. I went through it. And that's when I shifted my business. But I was always missing one link. And that's where I've been came in because a couple years later after doing this, I moved back home to Miami and my health went from amazing, like thriving. And I used to live off of one ingredient guys and I was swelling up too. I was sitting in my apartment and two years into living in Miami. I was having my nose running everywhere. I was having my eyes watering. I got such crippling anxiety and depression where they put me on Xanax. I didn't know what was happening. I started losing weight, even on 4,000 calories. I had was having nervous meltdowns and breakdowns as a happy person. And I did my own thyroid testing. I found out and I went back to school. I went back to school with FDN and I said, I'm going to run all my tests, but there's one test I always wanted to do because of all the eggs among everything. And it was testing for mole toxicity. And I was living in chronic mole toxicity in Miami. My thyroid made reverse T3 up into 90. They put me on T4 medication and that made me lose 20 pounds in a matter of a week because it all went to the metabolite. I found that out. I had Zena, a mole that was mimicking estrogen throwing off all my hormones. Everything was causing the histamine issues. I had clubceola on top of that. MTHFR gene mutation. And I through learning how to test, I revamped my Dutch. I figured out the mole toxicity and I learned every protocol to heal my body. But also now I get even more complex cases. And I know we're gonna go into that. But it's just I'm so grateful for it because it really allowed me to see that. I think I had mole toxicity from a little girl. And I think everything was just stacking on top of it. Because even when I would get better, it's like stress or something would come up and it was moving into that Miami location that really just triggered everything and getting myself back into that environment. And that's a long story short. Sorry if that was a long. Holy that that is a lot. And I know a lot of that is you knowing that in hindsight, right after you are healed and you're looking back at your journey or you're putting the pieces of the puzzle together. As soon as you said Miami, because I didn't know you were in Miami and then move to LA, I was like, oh, I was like, this is going to mold for sure with that human here. Right. I imagine a lot of homes in Miami have mold just because of just because of the humidity. Right. Like how do you even prevent that? Wow. So let's go back to when you're a child. First, I have so many questions. Yes. So you're dealing with eczema, you're dealing with these gut issues. So it's 16. Your parents were like, cool, eat 15 bananas for breakfast. No. So they knew I was an extremist from a little girl, but they're like, if you're doing this, we're going to do it right. So that's when they're like, okay, who's the top people in the industry? I worked with Dr. Douglas Grams, who made the 80s and 10 diet. So they're like, if you are going to do this, we're going to do it the right way. So they made sure that I had mentorship for it. I also went to Hypochery's Health Institute. I did there full three week whole transformation. And they were the ones taking me to all of the farmers market, making sure I got all organic fresh produce. I was eating 3000 calories a day with all this top healthy produce. Okay. They always, yeah, they were making sure I did it right. Did they want me to do it? No, but they knew that I was a little bit of a hard-headed kid that I was going to do it no matter what. Okay. Okay. So there's a little bit more context there. I'm like, first of all, 15 bananas. That's a lot like in volume. How does your stomach even handle that in terms of volume? But ultimately, it sounded like, you know, maybe those things eating that fresh produce wasn't actually that bad. You just needed to get out of the mold to allow your body to be filled. Potentially. Right. So it's funny because when I was going through the FDN course, and that one number of years ago, you know, and mold would come up and mold is quite trendy right now. It's kind of a buzzword in our industry. And people saying mold is the root cause. I don't actually believe mold is a root cause. I still am like, why is the body not able to you know, handle this naturally occurring thing and detoxify it. And it sounds like when you move to L and you got out your body actually handled it until it was exposed again. And then it was just layer after layer. And your body was like the cup was overflowing again. Exactly. Wow. And it was bad. It was like, it felt like I had rheumatoid arthritis throughout my entire body. And I moved from Miami when I was in FDN and I moved to Texas for a little bit. And none of those issues went away. Texas is another place. A lot of my Texan clients have it. But then when I moved and I got out of that environment and I came to Colorado, it was like everything started going in a positive direction with my health. Wow. So there's the change in the dry weather. Yeah. I noticed like all my aches, my pains and I couldn't even bend over and get my dog his dog food because that's how like it was crippling my joints. Wow. Okay. So let's how old were you at this point? So now you've moved to Colorado. How old are you at this point? I'm 33 now. Okay. And you're in Colorado currently? Yes. Amazing. And so how long have you become? How long have you been in FDN? And what on those tests like really shocked you outside of the mold? Yeah. It's been close to two years because I've run so many tests and like back in the day, I knew that I had a H. Pylori in the past. But my H. Pylori like levels and everything were better. I knew I was going through chronic stress. I think some big things for me is like when I ran the Dutch test, I was able to see that my body was in a place where see where my hormones were at because we look at blood work and blood work does not show everything. You could be like for me, my body wasn't. It was producing a lot of cortisol, but it wasn't removing it from the body. Same thing, my estrogen was fine, but I did not. I wasn't able to remove the excess estrogen from my body. So it kind of the hormone aspect kind of built back in. But when the gut is so messed up, it's like you got to get the gut first to get the hormones. We have to look at the whole system together. And that's what I loved about being able to test. I think the mold piece though was the biggest puzzle piece because even like with my family, I've been able to find it in my family that is being sent to doctor and doctor with all these chronic health issues with underlying black mold in their body causing all of this. Yeah. Yeah. Oh my goodness. I am with you. I also have had mold illness and it is a feat to try to beat for sure. But one of the biggest clues for me was tanked hormones at like 33 years old, like postmenopausal hormones. Yes. Right. And gut dysfunction that literally would not go away. Like every protocol that you could throw at it, every supplement, every diet, and maybe not quite as extreme as as the 80, 10, 10. But I got more extreme than that, babe. I lived off of white rice and chicken for over a decade because that was like my body, the club, Ciella and everything, my body. I couldn't even eat fiber or carbs. I'd even done carnivore diet too. And I've done the gaps protocol as well where I'm in my kitchen fermenting. So I did every diet to try to heal. I was desperate until I had answers. And it's like the testing gave me the answers that I was looking for. But you can't just treat the paper because my body was in a place where it couldn't sweat, it couldn't detox, I couldn't go to the bathroom. So if you just threw me on a bunch of herbs, my body would react it and would get a lot worse. Well, I mean, it's proven, I mean, you tried, you tried that whatever tincture to get that muco- the muqued plant. And you ended up in the hospital. I think that that's actually really important. We should really point that out to the listeners of this episode is that like if you're not detoxing, if you're not able to use the bathroom. So whether you're a self-healer or you're already a graduate or you're somebody in between, you can't just throw a protocol at somebody and be like, well, you got to try. Lori, let me kill it off. You know what I mean? If drainage isn't open, and if you're not actually able to eliminate anything. Yeah. That's really. Yeah. And I think a big thing that I learned too because I would take that whole bottle of bioside and be on the floor. Yeah. Because you think harder is better, but I healed my clients. I have clients come to me on 80 plus supplements and I get rid of their age by Lori and heal their body and see different everything, not by killing harder, but by healing their body and restoring their body. And we're so, you know, you can go to random people you find on the internet that say their practitioners and they get your tests and they just say, okay, what is the strongest thing I could put you on to kill all of this? They don't look at your nervous system. They don't look at restoring. And then you could end up like, I went to the wrong person, my club's yellow multiplied five times. I'd blood coming out of me. And then I never had Candida. And now I have Candida after going through his protocol because it was too strong and my body couldn't support it. Quick break. If you've mastered the foundational labs and you're ready to go deeper, join us for clinical summit week May 11th, 15th, 2026. We'll show you exactly when to run a Dutch HTA, neuro focus, total talks and more links will be in the show notes. That's something that I love about FDN as well. Just taking in literally every system, you know, that and how they all play a role in the immune system. Clearly, if you had, how many parasites did you say you found? Was it like nine? 15 types of parasites with the H by Lori of 12. Yeah, like clearly, you know, now I've got my FDN hat on thinking like if your terrain is allowing you to overgrow that many pathogens, your immune system is not resilient. It is not robust because those wouldn't have been a good one. be there if it was and you cannot put somebody on a protocol that's just kill, kill, kill, kill, kill that strong, that fast and expect the body to respond, you know, in a, in a positive way. And you're killing everything that's left in your body to where all the bad guys are going to take over even more. Yeah. Wow. So, okay, you're, you're in the FDN course and you're, you've got all this data, which we love, right? What was your healing protocol? What did it actually look like at that point? Yeah. So it was a mix of so many things and I want to start off with probably the most important thing is the nervous system because when you're going through so much, it's like you're stressed about the food, you're stressed about what you're eating, you're stressed about if you're doing your right protocol and for me, I cannot meditate, I cannot sit there and do that. My mind just goes, goes, goes. So one big part of my nervous system that I started doing was acupuncture. Acupuncture was very powerful for me. I was going one to two times a week and they were, I mean, I was having emotional releases. It really helped and I went back and I became TEM certified. So I started doing the TEM meditation 20 minutes, twice a day in front of my red light. That was like nervous system is a must and one last thing I did for my nervous system is I would write out my three daily wins, which I have all my clients do because when you're going through the heck of it, it feels hard and it feels like me, I'm never going to get better and if you have that mindset, you don't heal. But by writing out your three daily wins, it could be so small as I freaking went to the bathroom today. I mean, that's a big one for me and my clients with poop emojis, but it's like that is like a big thing when you're so reactive and dealing with so many things and you just, you feel alone on your journey. The second big thing was I really addressed the environment. I got myself out of the mold environment. I got air purification. I started working on my lymphatic system because I still do. I didn't sweat. Ever? Even though it's a little, I ran marathons and I would not sweat. People like, did you run the marathon? Yeah. So working on my detox pathways, lymphatic drainage, air purifiers, getting myself out of the environment. I think it was in my car too. My car got totalled. So luckily, that kind of took care of that aspect for me. But that was another part is making sure you're not living in it because if you are, you can keep recolonizing. And then a big thing was focusing on not just supplements in a specific way, but first focusing on the food and the nutrition because I was so reactive, I couldn't do a lot of supplements. If I took glutathione and these binders and all these things, I would start getting massive histamine reactions, headaches, migraines, eczema, all over my scalp, rashes, you name it. So I started with the nutrition and from there I brought in the supplementation. With all my clients, I always spend that first month rebuilding our body, getting herself eliminating, helping support the liver, correcting the insufficiencies and the gut, leading the bad guys to take over. Then we go into strategically, you know, what was going on in the gut. And as you know, with mold, typically I've always run a GI map stool test when I do do a mold test. And sometimes I run an oats test to kind of connect the dots and see if the person not only is living in mold, but it's colonized by mold. Yeah. I was colonized by mold. I had yeast and all things going on. And when you attack those in the stool test, then you are getting with the mold. And sometimes you uncover more layers in your mold, they look worse before better. Yeah. But I did single herbs for me. I had to go very slowly with binders because that was the thing that could back me up more. And then also working on that external component too, or not probably external, is my thyroid because it made the reverse T3. I couldn't do T4 medication. I had to find the right person to compound it. I had to regulate my own medication and keep retesting because your thyroid and your gut motility go together. Yes. So I brought in the whole trifecta of all of that until I was able to heal and get myself better. And it's different. The key thing is that it's so different for everybody. One person can tolerate a probiotic and make some go to the bathroom and fibres amazing. The next person that's going to send them in crippling pain and back 20,000 steps. So you never take something. I think I have parasites. Let's do this cleanse. I think I have mold. Let's kill this because you could be changing your gut terrain and microbiome in the wrong direction when you don't need to or making things worse. So it's like the testing allows you to see this is what's going on. What do I need to do? And then finding the right practitioner that doesn't just go, I'm going to kill everything and cut everything out of your diet and eliminate. Let's restore you and work on nervous and bring the full part together so that when you get rid of it, you don't get it back. You stay healed and you continue on with that. Yes. And you become more in tune with your own body as you go a little bit slower so that if there is something that comes up in your life over the next decade, however long, you can go, hang on a second. I'm going to put these foundations back in place for a second and see, oh, what does my body really need before you've launched, you know, down that path again of completely unhealed because life does come at you. And since you're a marathon runner or in a past life marathon runner, the healing journey is like a marathon. You know, I've been on my healing journey now probably about a decade, taking it pretty seriously. And, you know, life throws you things that it's unexpected. You're not sleeping. Things feel stressful. Maybe you forget your meditations for six months and it's just, it doesn't feel practical or you can't do it. And then all of a sudden you're feeling a bit bloated, right? Yeah. That's when you're, if you take it low and slow, right? That is when you can say, I'm understanding what my body's reacting to. You're not going to just dive down that hole of being, you know, completely dysregulated. This is like the warning sign. This is like the check engine light. Like, hey, your car hasn't blown up yet. You know, like, but you should check this out. You should start thinking about this. And I think that's even more important than the initial healing is to learn how to stay on that path for the rest of your life because it can happen. And you will. You'll stay on that great, easy, smooth path. Yeah. I say it's like putting the tools in the toolbox, because I have so many little women that I work with, their busy moms or CEOs or go, go, go. And they don't even sit down to eat their foods. So it's about finding ways where we can create small habits and tweak little things to improve that work with their lifestyle. And when you just do those things, it's like the food becomes less reactive. The balsamic become better. The libido comes back. The energy crashes and cravings go away. And those you start to notice and those are the big wins and weight loss comes with it because the body's regulating. Yes. I actually really love writing down three wins. I might steal that for my own practice. Do it, girl. You know what? I had a conversation with a woman the other day. And so in the beginning of a healing journey, there can be a little bit of restriction and specifically around food and potentially lifestyle, depending on, you know, where somebody's lifestyle is starting, going to bed earlier is not easy for somebody who goes to bed at midnight every night. Getting up early and exercising if that's the only pot, if that's the only place they can insert it into their life. That's not easy. Taking out a glass of wine every night, those things are not necessarily easy to do, but they're pretty simple in the big scheme of things. And when somebody is already coming to you overwhelmed and then they have to take out the things they love or take out the time after their kids go to bed that's only me time, that's hard. It's mentally draining. There might be a bit more of that. So focusing on the positives is huge. I remember it's a really high healing journey, like crying to my husband, like, this is so hard. Because it is, it's challenging, it is a commitment. And I don't want to make any false claims that you're going to just like jump in and, you know, snap your fingers and things are going to be amazing. But I think that focusing on those positives is really the key to get through it. I think that's an amazing. And it's and it's something you can do anywhere. You can do it while you're driving home in your car, whatever my three wins and say them in your head for the day. It's simple. Yeah. I love that. Do you have your clients text them to you ever? Oh my god. I have every check-in. They have to put their three wins, every check-in. And it like sometimes you'll like, I get one in a blue moon that will be like, I had no wins and we get on the phone because we do our like all our zooms and then we start talking. I'm like, so like you were vomiting with acid reflux. How's that? It's completely, like, oh my god. I didn't even know this. And like so we always start our phone calls where what were those wins because it's so easy to forget it. And then once you start feeling better, then you forget how bad you felt. You know what? You're right. I remember Elizabeth Gaines. You know Elizabeth Gaines, right? Our education director at FDN. She once talked about our, what is our checklist called? It's called the, I think it's the metabolic chaos checklist. Yeah. See? Yeah. Right. It's where the tool FDN's used to quantify somebody's symptoms and she She was talking about coming in with chronic back pain. And you know, three months in, the back pain was less, but it was still like a little bit there. So she didn't think she was actually healing until she looked at that metabolic chaos checklist. And was like, three months ago, it was a five. Now it's a two. So like it does, your body adapts pretty quickly to whatever you're feeling now. And it's kind of hard sometimes to remember how bad you felt when you've got a million things going on in your day. Like you said, you're working with CEOs and busy moms and people who are just moving through their day. So that is incredible. That tool, I use that tool in my own practice, but I do really like this win because it's very easy to forget how great things have become. It is. And it's important. Absolutely. I have a question for you about your nutrition now. Where do you stand sort of in terms of raw vegan and carnivore? So I am no longer dogmatic about my diet. That's like a big thing. I do not. I always say it's not about a diet. It's about looking at the individual because every person is different from their lifestyle to their gut to their hormones. One person may have blood sugar issues and need more meals throughout the day. Well, another person, you know, they have low stomach acid. And we got to build that back up and slowly get the meat back in so they're able to break down their food. So I focus on a very anti-inflammatory diet. I do not eat processed food. I just, I don't. And I do bring aspects though of my gaps diet. So, you know, I do fermented foods. I make my own meat stock, not bone broth, because it's low histamine. I make my own tallow and render all of that. I cook all my vegetables so I don't really do a lot of raw food, but I make sure that I'm getting a diversity of fruits and vegetables throughout my week. But that took me a really long time to build back up after going through what I did. I felt like I was a baby again. I had to, you know, I couldn't tolerate anything. I had to purer a food to where I was purerying carrots and putting them in ice cube mold so that I could slowly titrate it back into my diet. And it just, it felt so hard, but it has allowed me to have the extreme cases with clients coming to me on carnivore, living off of cottage cheese and expand their diet so much in just 12 weeks, because I know exactly what fiber and what fermentable and what to do and what to ask for to be able to get everything in the optimal environment to expand that diet. That just feels like body freedom to me. Like, you know, when you get to a place where you trust your body to not react to every little thing or you trust your body to have a full and complete bowel movement every morning, you don't even think about it. You know, it really takes up so much of your mental capacity when you are struggling with the way you're feeling and when you don't have to feel that way anymore, that's how I describe it. I describe it as body freedom. It's just like, yeah, so much lighter. Is that the place you are in your life now? Yeah, I kind of, I think of it as a bad relationship when you break up with the person that's like you're cutting a tie. It's like, well, that felt good. Yeah, absolutely. Oh, my goodness. It's so powerful that you're able to now turn around and help women feel that feeling as well, because to your point, you've been dismissed. How many practitioners and doctors did you see that either didn't believe you or put you down some rabbit hole of a protocol that they didn't even ask the right questions? And they didn't look at the whole picture. That's why it's like, it's so important not to just treat the test or just look at hormones. It's a hormone issue or thyroid, it's a thyroid issue. And unfortunately with our medical system, it's, we're pushed to one doctor and then they take care of one thing and put you to somebody else and then you have a whole team of people and no one is on the same page. No one's looking at your stress, your diet, any of that. I take care of all that for my clients, but I'm like, I want to be your one-stop shop. So you don't have to think and you could have a piece of mine. And when you're in that piece of mine, that's when you heal. Yes. Absolutely. I mean, like Reed says, his whole point was he wants his FDN practitioners to be the last person people need to see when it comes to their health. So you are doing it. I love that. And we love that you are out here representing FDN. You have incredible energy. Is there anything else that you want to tell us about your story? I mean, I think the biggest thing is like if you are on your healing journey, don't give up on yourself and don't believe you're broken. The big thing is you need to shift your mindset and you need to find someone that could relate to you and help you. It's one thing working with somebody who has all of these credentials. It's another thing working with somebody that's been in your place because they're going to be the person that's able to relate to you, understand you, and that's what you need. You need a system so I want to not make you feel like you can't talk about your poop, not make you feel like you're crazy for thinking, you know, you're something swelling because you're reacting to water. Someone to guide you and help you become your own health advocate. I think that's the biggest thing is believing in yourself, not giving up on yourself, but also finding that person that could be your guide and be your light to get you there because when you have such bad health issues, sometimes you can't take this on yourself anymore because it's more of a stress and it makes things worse. You need to not have to second guess it and you need someone to be able to say, I've been through this. I know what to do to get you there. We have trust and communication in each other. Now let's map this out and get you there period. Yes, that is so powerful Elizabeth. I'm really grateful for this conversation on a scale of one to 10. FDN, how much has it helped your own health transformation in comparison to anything else that you've done? I'm going to say a 10, not just for me, but for my clients because I have really bad complex cases with some fear in the metriosis, muscle activation and being able now to say, okay, I'm on a call with a person. I know exactly what's going on. I know exactly what to test and then I'm going to have the exact, this is what's in our body and know how to interpret it and bring in everything that I learned with my own health to make you the last protocol that you need. So I say no doubt about it, a 10 because it allowed me to find my missing link that I probably had since I was a little girl. Wow, that's really powerful. And no one would have tested that. You're not wrong, not at that age they wouldn't have tested it. No. You know what, we're all kind of thankful for our own hailing journeys. I'll speak on behalf of all FDNs because just like you, I am grateful for mine. It has put me in the position that I am in today being able to help women all over North America and around the world, which is, you know, there's nothing better than that. That's a truth. Tell everybody where they can find you Elizabeth. Absolutely. So I am all over the internet. It's like Elizabeth Taylor without the T big areas Instagram and YouTube. So I have tons, thousands of videos on gut health and hormones at Elizabeth Taylor fitness on my YouTube and then same thing on my Instagram. And then of course, if you're old school, I'm on Facebook, I'm on TikTok. I got like two million followers, but everything is for my women. 40 plus up into your 80s all on healing. And I use abs to optimize gut health. You'll see that on my Instagram. Amazing. Well, thank you so much.
