Folks, Son of a Boy Dad is brought to you by our friends at High Noon. High Noon is the best. It is my drink of any season, whether it's the tequila or the vodka. You will thoroughly enjoy the High Noon because there's a flavor for everyone. We said it was the perfect drink for that end of summer, but guess what? It's also the perfect drink for fall, whether you're tailgating or watching football and having people over or pretending like you're going apple picking and whatever, trying to. Yeah, pretending you're going to go to a pumpkin patch or something like that. Have a High Noon. Yeah, it works with everything. It works in every scenario. If it's the tequila, if it's the vodka, you just know that you're going to get real juice, just some seltzer water, some real flavoring. And it's not going to have any of the malt. No malt. Only 100. No added sugar. Only 100 calories. Gluten-free. It's excellent. We all know this product. We all love it. As you can see, I've been drinking it since the 1700s. This is an insane addition. The vodka, seltzer, peach, too. They know my flavor. They know my flavor, which now comes in full eight packs of single flavors. I can buy an entire box of peach. So I don't have to wade through the flavors I'm not as big of a fan of. If only this guy could have had that same experience. It would have been great for all of posterity. Maybe he would have lived past 28. Also, if you want some High Noons, or if you want to find out where they are, visit highnoonspirits.com to find the High Noons closest to you. And let's begin the show. All right. Shall we? Yeah. I'll take my sunglasses off. You got some set of fucking balls on you. I got to get out of here. Oh, you do? Yeah, I do. Then why are you recording at three? That's because you guys wanted to. I've been here all day. We said one or three. And then you said three. Because know what? You don't respond. If you have a time, you want to do it. I'm fine with either. But if I leave here at five, then I'm going to be on the subway for six hours, and I'm not going to be able to breathe on it. That's why you have to get out of here, because you have to make the subway home. Yeah. Why don't we go play pool for an hour so you can let traffic cool? Please play pool with me, because I have time to kill. I can't today, but I would later this week. It's the end of the week. It's literally Wednesday. Going to Vegas tomorrow. I can't do anything about that. You know the weekend's here on Wednesday. Not for me. What do you mean? What do you mean, what do I mean? I have shit all week. I said the weekend's here on Wednesday. Oh. Well, maybe for some of us. Yeah, for you. That's exactly what I'm talking about. I have three jobs, and they don't all end on Wednesday. Three jobs. All right, ready? You're an electrician. All righty. Welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast. Today, it is Wednesday, September 16th. It's 3. 30 p.m. Or 3. 15 p.m. Apologies. And we're here live from HQ3. Woo. Hot start, man. Another episode. I biked in today. All the way from home? Yeah, I'm never doing that again. I'm done with the bike. How long does that take? 40 minutes. Really? Yeah, I'm done. That's a long way. It's literally, I've never felt more at risk in my entire life than on that bike ride. I'm just, the whole time, I'm like, I'm going to get. I'm going to get. I'm about to get smoked from every angle. When you go over the bridge and you start going south to Manhattan, what avenue do you go down? Usually 5th. This time, I went on 7th. Like, I crossed the whole way to 7th. Oh, you went through Times Square? Yeah, but I kind of got towards the tail end of it, like towards 42nd before I went to 7th. So, like, I went down a little bit and then went to 7th, but I mean, dude, it's like. There's no easy way to do it from where you live. I think that's crazy. I mean, I admire you for doing it. What was the most dangerous part? What felt the most dangerous? I just get so, well, a lot of it is like, I just get mad. Like, I'm just furious the entire 40 minutes because the, I mean, I've told, we've talked about it a hundred times, but like the delivery people are actually like bad people. Like, bro, the way that they bike is like, they don't care if, if, if they were to like get through a crease between a truck and the car. The curb a millisecond quicker. And then that truck flipped over as a result and crushed a hundred people. And then it exploded. And a 2000 more people died. It still wouldn't be a million dollars of insurance, but they would literally, but they would literally just continue biking. Like nothing happened. Like they don't give the slightest fuck about, about just human life as it is. But you have to consider that these people made it through the Darien gap. It doesn't. It doesn't matter. These people made it through. Like they probably took like a floatia through like the Gulf of Mexico. So you think they would be a little bit more careful? No, they've had to like get through way more dangerous conditions to get here. What you consider to be life threatening. They're like, Oh, this is a paved road. Yeah. But it's like, we're not in India. Like we're not, we're not somewhere where there's fucking 7,000 cars going different directions on the same lane. There's lanes for a reason, but it doesn't even help because the cars don't follow the rules either. You're, you're biking and then there's just a car parked in the bike lane. So it's like, what are you supposed to do? I'm completely aligned with you on this. Like there's nowhere to go without being like, I might die right here. New York city is a city where the pecking order goes. Pedestrians. Yes. Cars. Yes. Bikers who have motorcycle full base helmets and hands and hockey oven mitts. Yeah. And then. And then city biker commuters. Yes. Yes. We have no, it's the lowest of the low. There's no one there's we, we have no, and I consider myself when I broke it, biked in today. Yeah. Did you bike in? I'm still unable to get to 120. I don't have, I'm at 119 degrees. They said 120 is biking. I would just, honestly, I just hang it up. It's not worth it. You think so? It's not worth it anymore. Just because you had a terrible day navigating the immigrants doesn't mean you have to fucking shit on me. But I've done it. I've done. I've done it. I've done that ride many times. And the last two times I've been like, last time I did, it was probably like a month ago. Cause I was like, I'm not, I'm done. And then this morning I was like, I'll do it. We're not recording until three. Why not? And then I, soon as I got on the road, I remembered why not. Yeah. Today going through Chinatown, just off Manhattan bridge, that stretch of straight where the soccer fields on the right. Christie street. Yeah. That part that people cheat out into the bike lane. And I'm ringing my bell and they turn their head and look at me as if I like their cows. Like I'm a car driving past them and they're just cows that don't, they're not, I don't, it's not for me to move. Yeah. I stand here. Yeah. This is my field. Yes. Deer and headlights. It's like, they don't know what a bike is. So I have to, I go like this. I go, I just say, heads up, heads up, heads up. I'm going to start just screaming. Just turning to them, just going, ah, no brakes, no brakes. Just put your feet up. Yeah. Cause I had the same thing today. I was biking and I'm on seventh going down through Times Square and there's just a dude waiting to cross the street in the center of the road. And it's like, what are you doing? What are you doing right now? Yeah. That's not where you're supposed to be waiting. I get, I get cheating it out and poking out a little bit. This guy's in the middle of the road. Trust me. Trust me. Trust me. preaching to the choir brother like i should have just ran straight through him well i just kept going like everyone else that's i guess what you can just do that can we teach these people a lesson how many cautionary tales do they need to experience before we actually start getting some rights i don't know because it's not even like the the are we if we were to mow someone down who's standing in the bike lane are we fucked no no it doesn't first of all but you'll fall off your bike what you need to not i've been lifting a lot no you need to carry a lance you need to do it like a jouster and just and just smoke people with a lance lance armstrong yeah exactly why do you think he's called that yeah just smoke people so you can stay steady on the bike but still strong arm now you really should have like i'll have a lance or one of those need to get lances balls and chain a mace full renaissance fair on people i think that that would get people in line and just teach a little bit more you'd have to do it at the intersection you'd have to be like that guy that was punching people punching girls you'd have to hit every burrow shibuki yeah you'd have to hit every burrow with a mace or whatever and then people would start getting the oh this guy's going strictly you'd have to do it to enough people so that people recognize the gang of macers you need to have a bunch of people doing it you need to make a mace movement it's not a bad idea i mean but it's just like it's not even i would say the pecking order for me in terms of frustration goes i'll go least the most least i would say is the people the people bother me like the pedestrians but not it's not even in the same like so people cars that are in the bike lane and then number one is just it's the drivers it's the delivered drivers you're forgetting about the pull up have you guys ever had i'm gay i know you guys have had this have you ever you know when you pull up at a stoplight and you stop and you're the first guy there and they they they in they sir they inhale you and you're you're all of a sudden you're in the center of a circle surrounded by nine fucking delivery guys on motorcycles and then they just all burn you out when the light turns green and then they don't even move like that all of a sudden they all so they all have to get it they have to get in front of you and then they get in front of you and then they're two legs on one side just not pedaling just barely moving so it's like now i gotta pass you what are we doing yeah it doesn't make any sense they get a flying v around you yes it's like hell's angels yes they might as well be like swinging a chain yes and like smashing you with oh road road rash that game the motorcycle game was a good game remember that game did you guys play that game i don't think i don't think so what context road rash was an awesome game road rage that was a classic never played that i'd love to play a road rage game though where you have like a awesome you had to win races to make money and then if you bought money you could buy a super bike that had nitrous the super bike had a massive uber eats bag on the back of it crazy taxi with like an uber eats driver would be funny i bet there is a game where you can be an uber eats driver and like dodge to the city if not someone should make one i don't know all i know is that that's it for me i'm done you know what i'm tapping before i get smoked because i know it's coming like i could feel it today like i could i was just waiting to get harry smokes smoke that any point you know what's uh very sneakily uh annoying is the amazon trucks that they created to be slim enough for the bike lane and they're just convincing everybody that they're fucking bikes when they're trucks they're literally what is zoron doing where is zoron like isn't this supposed to be the shit that he's fixing he just tweeted about it today but he's like he's tweeting about fucking 9-11 and all this no one gives it that happened it's already over this is the new why is amazon allowed to have these fucking i don't even know what they are what would you even they're trucks yeah they're literally trucks trucks and it's the guy doesn't even have an electric bike he has a manual bike up front with this blocking everyone from getting around him and it's like if you were to get hit by that thing you die immediately look at those bro they're fucking trucks it's so fucking insane that's bad i got another one though to add to our list i hate when you're in the bike lane and there's a like a fedex truck or a food truck delivery whatever that is parked in you know on the just to the right of the bike lane oh yeah and let's say you're coming up sixth avenue with bike lanes on the left right um and those guys get out of their car and cross the bike lane oh they don't get arms full without looking yeah they don't even look yeah you need to they need to be smoked oh those guys are carrying or just that's why you need a lance you just poke the stuff out of their hand to teach and it's not like you actually want to destroy them and decapitate them poke check on seventh avenue the fucking trash trucks drive into the bike lane a trash truck cut me off and i was like who's in the wrong here i said it to the trash guy like who's in the wrong here am i in the wrong or are you in the wrong i'm collecting trash i'm like i'm just asking who's in the wrong right now am i in the wrong or are you in the wrong i mean because i just i just slam on the brake he's in of a highway it's a bike lane it's not like there should be a barrier between the street and the bike lane because it's not an area to just pull over but let's let's call it as it is we bikers take lots and lots of advantages as well we cut corners we go through red lights we cross when when pedestrians have the light we go through them i've seen francis do the jump off the back of a tow truck just like to ride the ramp right up and fucking go through the entire intersection i'll grind handrails using the pegs on my e-bike my point being you know not adhering to any sort of the actual rules it all just descends everything falls apart the pedestrians jaywalk the amazon truck drivers drive in the fucking bike lane people go the opposite way of traffic down the bike lane and you want that you have to move to scandinavia or japan i'm working on it yeah yeah japan is has the best rule of law and i wonder if someone got lanced there where like they don't they no one steps off the curb so like they must have had it's ingrained in their brains yeah that you know they they they're trained pavlovian like it's like you're not stepping off the curb and there has to be a reason why respect there's i mean you guys are right there's no rule it's a lawless city um there's no dark night to defend us against people we do we really do i mean we need if you're if you're on a vehicle in the bike lane where if you were to be hit head on or if you were to even fall off if you're go if you have a vehicle that if you were fought if you were to fall off of it at max speed and you were to and you die instantly that's too fast to be in the bike lane and wouldn't it be nice to see batman roping up guys oh yeah you were like that and then being like what's the difference between me and you yeah and he's literally has to be like i'm not wearing hockey pants yeah exactly it's literally that yeah it's so insane but i have seen people i've seen i think we've gotten to the point where there are there's like a liberal sect that is farther left than zoron i just started to see it because somebody got arrested on the on the train for jumping for like uh evading a fair and they spent a night in jail i saw that too and did you see everybody's like this is mom donnie's new york he's locking too many people up i saw they were like this is worse than adams adams wouldn't even do this and i was like oh wow he's a centrist dude fair evasion is nuts when i go on the subway and i fucking swipe my or put my phone on the thing to take my whatever three bucks and now and i simultaneously watch some guy to my left just duck under and i'm like i'm sponsoring you you just verified i did for the first time and i had no choice i had no choice i remember thinking i was like i feel horrible about this yeah and i'm stuck yeah yeah but i i have to get home there's no other way what you need to do to make it up to the system is go to when you're not even taking the subway one day pay and then walk away you're not wrong i will go do that right now yeah that's a good idea as soon as we get out yeah i'm gonna go do that i can't live with that someone else will take it though yeah and then the fair won't be no no you can't let anyone take it i'll i'll push the turnstile yeah yeah yeah without me yeah you have to do a phantom i'll do a phantom push yeah one for me that's a great i mean i think that honestly that makes it up completely yeah i might start doing that every time it's a little get back we should do that to like help the fair evaders uh to balance it out for the fair evaders every time pay for two and just push an extra one through just to make sure that the taxes are being paid the pod piper is taken care of i don't think that what i did i don't even think i'd call it fair evasion it was by definition fair evasion no i think it was survival i'm gonna call that for survival it's like when bruce wayne he goes the first time i stole i did it so i wouldn't starve bruce wayne says this yeah he's in uh he's he's left gotham and he's eating an apple and he lets the kid next to him take a bite batman begins oh yeah yeah that's the one i'm not i'm not i'm not too familiar with that one razzle gold and everything yeah yeah yeah i've only seen the end of it what yeah buddy of begins you've seen the end of begins body yeah and obviously the beginning of the dark night you need to watch that tonight yeah i mean i'll definitely watch it tonight who's batman in it christian bale oh he is it's the fucking first of the trilogy yeah but everyone kind of a lot of people start with the dark night no they don't man they do we all loved the dark night because begins was so good i mean i i can't disagree with you because i don't know because i've never seen begins front to back bro batman begins it's it's it's uh but i've dark nights phenomenal it is it's it's better but but no one would argue that batman begins is not good i don't know i didn't if not excellent it's excellent okay all right i'm convinced there's an argument to be made who plays the sandman what's his name the scarecrow the scarecrow who plays the scarecrow that's the guy murphy yeah yeah yeah cillian murphy killian or cillian i think it's killian killian killian it is killian he does look a little cillian i guess i'll make him a little darker that's a scary villain yeah are you too scared to say does that that's what that's what it's been the whole time a bit frightened for this film too scared i think that there's is there another villain in it oh uh uh i'd kill any black bastard that's just fucking liam neeson liam neeson oh wow liam neeson's in it too yeah yeah with the fu manchu goofy ass neeson do they both play the scarecrow you haven't beaten me you've sacrificed your footing for a clean strike is that from that come on harry what's it from you're driving me crazy of course it is i need you to watch this fucking movie i don't know movie i will the way that i was introduced to the dark knight was everyone was like you don't need to see batman begins that's horseshit dog i mean i will say i i don't i'm not saying i'm not gonna watch it and i do i bet it is good i bet i will enjoy it but i think that is true you don't need to maybe you maybe you're right in that you're like okay here's batman a character from the zeitgeist with which i am very familiar but begins is his origin story and his training and his mission and why he became who he is also a different actress plays rachel katie holmes katie holmes and i thought she was better than the girl margot robbie no no i wouldn't have had any issue with her maggie gyllenhaal maggie gyllenhaal who's good but katie holmes was stunning yeah maggie gyllenhaal get kind of gets out acted by uh the joker yeah didn't he have to he had to actually try to kill her to make her feel a little bit yeah he actually threw her off the roof that's where people say that she was out acted in the scene where like where he comes in you know what i'm talking about yeah in the in the party tonight's entertainment and that's but no he really did grab her face with and it was unexpected yeah i saw that i saw that on instagram reels too where else would i see anything where else literally where else would i get the news let her go it's a great great reels reference this is a great reel that's a good one an incredible reel guys i'm wearing all black today john wick john wick because why because you're about to go to vegas no someone passed who i'm not sure but someone someone out there definitely passed away someone definitely passed i watched the documentary 102 minutes that changed america last night have you guys seen it 9 11 no no but i started watching the turn point oh yeah i've seen that one what uh what did you guys pick up 102 minutes is really interesting i mean it's all there's no like confessionals or anything like it's all filmed it's all just made with footage that people took that day what day was it so no one confesses the entire time no so you leave them the movie not knowing who did it no idea it's great it's a real like you know edge of the seed i feel like all the info all the the videos are out i feel like everything is out now there's i i feel like you got a new one like every week yeah like every week you're like i've never seen that what's the turning point one that you saw turning point usa one i i just started it it's it's generation 9 11 so harry wouldn't understand it but well i am generation 9 11 uh no it's it's i think you know how young people in particular were uh their lives were transformed as a result please please please how we were all affected the most i think that uh people treat covet like it was 9 11 who you guys like you when guys like you all the time guys in your in your young people generation i don't even remember last time i thought about covet it was like it fucked us up we couldn't go to prom you always say shit like that didn't happen to me i went to prom twice there was no my covet you got held back at you're like what's worse you know a plane crashing into a tower or this vaccine crashing into my arm that's a good point that is a good point twice two doses no i only got one oh you did yeah johnson and johnson yeah and forever seven it decomposed your immune system yeah what do you guys think about tower seven what happened what happened there doesn't make much sense to me that's for sure do you know are you familiar no you're a tower seven denier you don't think it was there in the first place tower seven and three quarters yeah tower seven that's what harry potter went through tower seven was a smaller tower next to the twin towers that then crap that that then just came down well i think it was i don't know if it was the same day or the next day but no one really knows why it it uh exploded someone does we don't right holy shit hmm long burning uncontrolled fires severely weakened its internal steel frame after falling debris from teller can we find a video of tower seven collapsing please because i think that would really do a better job of you would have thrived in 2005 100 when this when this conspiracy theory first bubbled up no i wouldn't have been in on it then i can't believe you're just getting this is just getting across your desk no i mean it's not just obviously i've been known about tower seven i just it still is just one of those ones where you're like what because it just like randomly falls down like the towers have been fallen down yeah and then tower seven so what do you think what's your hypothesis i don't have one that's why i was asking you guys what you guys thought i know but like what's it what could it be oh control demolition bye don't make me say i want to make you say don't make me say it i want to make you say it yeah i don't know i'm but i'm sure that you've figured out something that the greatest minds in science can't well the greatest minds in science haven't figured it out either they haven't no i think it was just explained right there it was this is an instagram reel with a thousand likes exactly this is a school project are you sure it's our greatest minds in science right i think it's our like fourth best minds i probably not even top fifth greatest are doing like greatest are doing boob jobs yeah our best minds are doing boob jobs second best minds are finding ways to get like new flavors on doritos yeah third best minds probably ranchers yeah probably not even doing science and then the fourth best minds are making the instagram reels yeah bless you chopping up 9 11 footage for vertical can we pinch this in should we use cap cut for this you know what i uh rewatched is uh zero dark 30 oh yeah that oh you've been on a kick great rewatch yeah it's a that's a great one sometimes i'll now just i'll just queue it up right to the seal raid that's the best before i go to a workout yeah that's the best part easily and the pull-up bar is my bin lawn when she goes and she meets up with uh chris pratt in like the hangar yeah he was a little too tell me you don't you don't you didn't you didn't like brad he's just a little too light-hearted he's like making jokes he's he's still like chris pratt in that movie yeah but that's kind of how every military movie like the dialogue is very like hockey room banter i i just wonder if these guys going into that raid would have been cracking jokes maybe they were maybe they were but like they also knew what they were doing yeah they were still locked in and chris pratt's like being star lord from guardians of the galaxy i don't know if he did that you know that is but that's how it is in every military thing like every military movie let's put it this way they're in the trenches and they're like yeah chris pratt has played a soldier a lot and he's gotten more serious and i think that was still like parks and rec chris pratt cast as a navy seal in the bin laden raid i would rather see i would watch zero dark 30 with starfox actually playing yeah that would be sick playing uh rob what's the guy's name rob rob thomas no that's the guy from matchbox 20 yeah rob zombie do they ever Specify who's who out of the Navy SEALs. well they they there's a guy who shoots bin laden in the head when he like pokes his head out oh yeah and then his boys are going you just killed bin laden yeah they're like luring him out yeah as if they're one of his sons yeah that but didn't uh like so when you go to the gym do you kill the pull-up bar son first or uh you just kill you just go right to the pull-up bar yeah when i get in there i i and i see all the female personal trainers i usher them into a side room and make them sit down and shut up and then i get into my workout yeah they didn't kill any of the huzz they killed a couple for sure they killed one who was like human shield lying with their mouth yeah a lot of them because i think they tried to human shield a lot of them right some of them did yeah at least in the movie i haven't i didn't read that guy's book yeah i don't really know i read no easy day well aren't there some like maybe that was some people think that the guy the guy who wrote no easy day was the guy who wrote no easy day yeah i don't really know i read no easy can you look up the who who wrote no no easy day was a a seal book maybe that was the one i read that one a seal book matt bissonette did nasty holy shit can we see if and who killed bin laden what was the name of the book he wrote it's rob something rob o'neill rob o'neill that sounds right rob o'neill rob o'neill or something rob o'neill the operator you ain't read the operator there's a lot of controversy about that yeah because they say that he lied a bunch right or made stuff up yeah uh so mark bessonette wrote another account uh no easy day and official government reports generally do not name specific operations involved in the lethal actions of the raid well so what are we saying this is propaganda america wait a minute this is propaganda america this is propaganda there's like controversy between these guys yeah who actually killed him yeah i've seen that on reels yeah i've seen reels of that too rob o'neill is taking the credit yeah well one of the guys in the nfl when you get a sack you have to like go and report the sack to like the guy on the team that logs the stats after the games to make it an official stat and i've heard stories of guys and the eagles of two people being like that was my sack and the other one just like that was my sack and they have to like argue it out in the locker room don't they get a half sack i don't think you can get a half sack but i've heard of like fletcher cox trying to take like chris long sack or some shit like that who was the one where who was the guy that went up was it brett do you go so does he go to brett farve and he's like mark gaston yeah yeah he's like you ruined my life with that and brett farve's like that's funny it's like no you destroyed me because this guy had mark gastineau had the sack record yeah i remember this michael strahan strahan they gave it to him he laid down on the ground and that was the difference and then mark gastineau fucking screams at brett yeah yeah that video is really uncomfortable it's a great reel i mean whatever that'll probably be on your algo tonight brett farve is a bad guy well bad guy well he stopped you know bad guy definitely a bad guy did you watch the untold no on him what do you do he's a bad dude like what fraud he he uh like redirected like 76 million of the mississippi taxpayer daughters to like his daughter's volleyball team really they're pulling up to volleyball and fucking lambo part of a hustler gold-plated knee pads farve doesn't know what to say well gastineau was like the one way you could make it up to me is embezzling 76 million and that's why i did it he felt bad farve is actually the good guy in this scenario he is he definitely is he did something with like old people's homes yeah i feel like i do remember hearing about that last thing tyler could you just quickly look up what it what did why is brett farve a bad guy or like yeah what did he give us the answer what are all the brett farve things the dick pic stuff um was that far that did the dick pics yes he was the original dick pic bandit why did i think that was uh big bandit who big ben yeah no no he was a therapist oh okay interesting but but farve had the he was sending redirect millions of dollars in federal welfare money five million the volleyball facility other projects he also allegedly sought and received funding for an indoor football practice facility and invested in a biotech startup using the diverted money wait scroll down he was involved in tower seven holy shit yeah jen sturger she was the original smoke patrol they sent out the smoke patrol for sturger i also read something about or i saw something on reels i guess about um about there were people that shorted the airlines that were that were the planes that hit the towers before it happened in the u.s it was kushner jared kushner that's how his brother bought the uh the clippers it's probably kushner teal and rogan if i had to guess the big three yeah definitely was and mark andreason and uh who's the other one teal weinstein brett weinstein teal that teal guy seems like he's a troublemaker yeah he's up to he's up to no good none he's uh he i mean there's a lot you could say about him i personally yeah i mean probably but i personally there's one thing he did that i'm a fan of oh that's not good we'll cut that it there's one thing he did i'm a fan of it was his it was his lunches with epstein after epstein was arrested i just respected that no what what did you like i liked i liked the fact that uh he was outed by gawker for being gay and he is gay but he's gay i didn't know that what really yeah oh my god but he's like he lived privately with that it wasn't he wasn't i don't think he was in the closet he just publicly wasn't out yeah and he sat on his anger and revenge for a long time until gawker published hulk hogan's sex tape oh yeah and then i'm pretty sure that peter teal funded his entire legal uh team yeah and sued gawker for tens of millions of dollars they won and gawker declared bankruptcy damn and then peter teal danced on their graves and i think anyone who has the restraint to wait years for their revenge uh is that's impressive i'm not i'm not built that way yeah it's probably a good thing i respond quickly and uh i i lose yeah he's a pretty bad guy he's a pretty he's a pretty universal why because he's gay like well that's super homophobic honestly i didn't even know that until now and that yeah he's worse now he's a really bad guy i have about 60 percent of that story correct no i think you hit the nail squarely we don't we're just a quick disclaimer we don't try to get things right on the show if we say something right we're sorry also i feel like we're i'm more trying to get things right for you guys i like i don't really i forget about the audience sometimes i'm more just trying to convince my points in the room i forget that people listen yeah me too but uh that clip or that that reel that i saw of uh of teal on rogan you know what i'm talking about where he's sweating bullets he's like sweating his hair dye out like he's rudy giuliani he's talking or have you uh you probably haven't seen this france but he's talking to rogan about epstein and he's like talking about how he like hung out with epstein or like went and got like lunches with epstein and he and rogan rogan goes he goes uh he's like well i mean like how could you have known like he hadn't even been arrested and he's like this was actually post-arrest rogan just goes oh oh he was like this is after there had been but he was he was like still rationalizing he was like well the sentence wasn't that like heavy and i figured it wasn't probably that bad yeah that's what he says he goes like i just assumed like it wasn't it wasn't that big of a deal and the charges are like human trafficking and what is palantir doing it's like making like missiles out of like missiles they're making ai missiles out of seedless watermelons or something like that yeah they're like making bombs out of gmo lettuce or some shit like that i mean that's literally what what he does he he builds uh ai like fighter jets and stuff well he's he's the biggest vc guy oh yeah he funds everything vince carter loves vince carter he's a big toronto raptors guy he's literally involved in everything like if you look up anything peter like anything he was the original funder of facebook yeah yeah he went and go they go meet with him in the movie yeah and uh clavicular oh yeah he funds clavicular he funds clav yeah does he really yeah yes he's clav's like biggest supporter i but i think that they that he funds all of that stuff to make people more dumb you think he's machiavellian you're like that that has to be what it is right why else would he be funding someone like clavicular you just said he's gay why would he fund like a young hot dude he have a why like why would he actually fund him you think that he's using clavicular to make the world dumb yes i mean that's i mean it's not like he's using clavicular to make the world dumb he's not making anyone smarter that's for sure i don't even think yeah i don't know i watched the Curvicular when he came to the office and raided the guys here? Yeah, I didn't know he came to the office. That's insane. And he was clearly being kind of nice. It seemed like he didn't want to actually go all out and hurt their feelings. Didn't he say that most of them needed very invasive facial surgery? Well, no, he says Tommy needs that. And me. It is very funny. The clip is very funny. They were like short face syndrome. Yeah. He says Tommy needs like a full reconstruction surgery. And then he goes to Greer. He's like, Greer's next. And he's like, yeah, you could probably like lose a little weight. He's like body compositions. Yeah. Should be fun. And then he goes next. And then Tommy's like, wait, so he needs to lose weight and I need a full facial reconstruction. Yeah, that guy's bad news, too, though. I mean, we're in a bad place right now as a country. Things are not good. I think he was on Out and About talking about. How he ties his dick to his leg and like has it like a weighted down to try to joke. Yeah. He's using like advanced jelking techniques. Yeah, he's a real jelker. He uses a pump and he has like the weighted tie to his thigh. I mean, honestly, dude, like Peter Thiel might be funding our like this podcast is just contributing to the to the problem. It's definitely making people dumber. We're making people way stupid. Just dumb as rocks with this show. Because people can like reference jelking. There's like. Yeah, at least at least clavicular is using four syllable words and shit like that. He's like hypertrophy. Yeah, that's true. He's also prescribing doses of medicine. Oh, yeah. You need to be on five milligrams of minoxidil. It's like, whoa, dude, are you allowed to say that? He's a pharmacist. He also isn't ever like, yeah, just like work out or like get some sunlight or like ever. He's like, yeah, this is the invasive procedure or the injectable that you can. Yeah. So I think that. If Peter Thiel is like if there's a reason that he's throwing money into him, it's probably like the pharmaceutical normalization of it instead of making people dumber. That could be it. I do think it has to do with like, I think they're just trying to make people dumb as dumb as they possibly can. I don't think that he's the wing that's trying to make people dumb. I think if it's not him, then who is trying to make people vain? He's the guy, but he's controlling the world. Who else is doing it? Yeah, there are a lot of people who don't know. Who he is. He's just so he's the guy. He's in our exact orbit. He is literally the dude and he is getting huge, but you'd have to be in our realm. I don't think so. People are pretty aware of Peter Thiel and what I thought. Excuse me. I thought you were talking about clavicular. Oh, no, no. Yeah, no, that's true. I don't think there's that many people who know who Clavicular is. I do think there are a lot of people that know who he is. But Peter Thiel. Peter Thiel. Everyone knows Peter Thiel. Yeah, yeah. Because I don't think I'm not a sheep. Because you know how to fish. Yeah. You can live off the fat of the land. Yeah, exactly. If push comes to shove, you can go upstate and camp. Oh, exactly. That's what you guys do all summer just to prepare. Yeah, that's what I was thinking about when I was watching that 102 Minutes documentary because everyone's walking out of the city. They're all walking to the bridges. I would have been gone. Grab a rod. Grab my rod and I'm gone. Rod in the tent. I've got everything ready to go. I've got a go bag. Is it by the door? Oh, yeah. You can just grab it and run? It's in the closet. I got butane. I got a little grill in there. Jet boil. Some MREs. Yeah, I'm good for a while. All right. I'm coming with you. Then just collect me and Francis when you go. Hell no. Why? You're not coming with me. That's out of my way. What? I'm going up. Well, what if I meet up with you at Checkpoint? At Checkpoint Harry? You can meet me up, but I'm not waiting. Don't even pretend that you want us. I'm not waiting. We both know you don't want us with you. I'm not waiting for Francis to get lost on the train again. I'm going. I'm going right up. We both know we would be like, we're on our way, and you'd be like, oh, I already left. This is a scenario, though, where we have no phone. You got to remember, there's no phones. No one's got service. Well, Francis has. He could be upstate. Ask yourself this. How about that's the base? Honest question. That'll be the base. Honest question for you. Honest question. Who do you think has a better chance of survival in a post-electrical apocalypse world? You or me? Me, easily. You think? You just don't have the tools. You don't have the resources. I think if you were equipped with my gear, you'd probably win. What do you? I have fishing gear. It's up in my place. Exactly. So, like, oh, God forbid I have to get two hours north. And you have a Tesla. You're fucked. You could bike two hours north. You are fucked. I could walk. Your Tesla's going to fucking drive itself out of the garage straight into the Hudson. How many miles north is your spot? 80. That's a good two days walk. Yeah, you're done. Two hard days. You're done. No, it's like four days, probably. You could make it in two. I think you could make it in two. Are you going to run? A little half jog. I got to get my fishing rod. Otherwise, I'll starve. I think three miles an hour is an acceptable walking pace. All I'm saying is I got two portable radios, cranks. I got a crank radio with a solar panel on it. So, I'm going to be getting all the news. They're going to be telling me exactly where to go. Yeah, but you understand China's going to triangulate you through your crank radio. No, no. They can't track the crank radio. They will, though. No, they cannot. You don't think they can, but they will. They can't. I guarantee they can. I got my Garmin Mini, so I'm going to be- Oh, so you're just rife with electronics. How are you even going to plug in your Garmin Mini? Fully charged all the time. Yeah, from what? Keep that thing on green. Yeah, but if it runs out of charge in a day and a half- No, the battery lasts for weeks. Roan, who do you think- Ideally, until I would get to a safer space. I know it's not me. I know I have soft hands and no resources and I'm bad at fishing. So, you're not even going to try? I'm the same between the two of you guys. I will put myself to the lowest. Who do you think between me and Harry? I'll put my case forward. I grew up in the woods. He grew up in Deluxbury. I mean, he grew up in the woods. My house in Maine is literally in the woods. That's where I grew up. You lived at the end of a cul-de-sac? No, I lived at the end of a driveway. A dirt driveway. A cul-de-sac that had a tree in the middle? Sure didn't. Sure didn't. We had to declare our driveway a road for 911 purposes because we were not listed with local emergency services. Oh, you were really off the grid. So, we had to name it a street and we named it Pirate Cove. That's fine. Really? I came up with it. I like it. My sister hated it. Well, give us the rest of your case other than you grew up in the woods. Grew up in the woods. You grew up literally on a cul-de-sac, so I don't know why you're throwing cul-de-sac shade at me. That's fucking Jesus. I didn't grow up on a cul-de-sac. Just a heads up. Moved to one. Later. You know, I think I'm better at starting fires than you are. I'm sure. I know that for facts. Literally not even close. I know that for a fact. Not even remotely close. I am a fire starter. Guys, get the flint and steel. I don't need it. Get the flint and steel right now. I don't even need it. I think generally I'm probably, well, I just spend time outdoors, whereas you don't. Well, you spend time outdoors at a golf course. This isn't going to be a golf course. No, I go hiking. This ain't a golf course. I'm going outside. I'm hiking. I'm doing healthy things. I get sunlight. You are quite reclusive. How many steps you had today? What are your steps looking like today? Certainly better than yours. Certainly not. I worked out. What do you got for steps? I don't wear your Fitbit shit. You got a phone. Does that tell you? It does. Sure does. Did you call him reclusive? I did. Aren't you reclusive? No, I didn't call him reclusive. Oh, he called you reclusive. I recalled him reclusive. I don't know why Harry's all of a sudden pretending that he's reclusive. He's active, he's not. What do you go to for this? health just click on i mean i'm at 11 000 steps is that from your bike in now it's for my exercise before my bike in health okay if that's true well you've got me on steps today how do you know it doesn't include your bike well it probably did include my bike but i can't imagine i got that many steps on a bike so far i'm only at 4 000 steps that's not great oh well did you have your phone on you go to your we'll go to your average for the last you're just waking up did you did you have your phone on you while you were working out i have of course he did you see this round you see how my hair there is black yeah you know what that's from your garment that's from kettlebells sass what am i looking at sass go to your average steps for the last month 8 000 okay what are yours you're getting more steps than i am i wonder why that's well it says over the last seven days i worked 8 925 steps it's a one-way street to cardiac arrest right there too much it's too many i'm gonna need you hitting 10 000 minimum well i'll work on that i do think i'm just physically a little bit tougher than you are like when things don't go my well way necessarily i don't start melting down and go back inside well i don't think i do that i don't think i do that either but in in this scenario anyways first half of this whole podcast was you being unhappy about the conditions of biking 40 minutes a day and then you're like oh my god i'm not gonna do that and then it's in here of course and i did not melt but regardless of whatever that was and continue to make your point on why you would survive better than me you don't know how to catch a fish let alone fillet one i know how to catch a fish no you don't i would be able to you don't even know how to tie the knot tom hanks can figure out how to catch fish with no guides i'm pretty sure that i can figure out how to catch a fish in the documentary incredible uh gear that i've got shout out to patrone rods um i've got all the gear i need i think that um you got a blade yeah i've got some good knives are they are they mobile knives or are they steak knives they're kitchen knives they're they're chef's knives yeah see that's not really going to be very ideal for quick transportation don't worry i'm going to japan i'm going to bring back a ton of knives i have a whole suitcase just for now that's awesome yeah bring back a whole bunch of knives off so that the you know the customs can be like are these were these used i was like yeah i don't travel without them no yeah i bring you gotta scratch the serial number you brought 14 knives to japan yeah it's actually a good idea you should bring a bunch of fake knives that could just go on amazon get a bunch of shitty knives and then to fly over there with rusty and then swap them out with the new ones on the way home you gotta mix them in yeah you gotta have the mixed pile yeah because they're gonna be looking and they're gonna say these have never been used knife laundering yeah yeah you gotta do some knife laundering yeah it's a good idea i like that you should um but i mean off you know i mean i don't know why we're even having well i'd like to know your case well i mean for starters he doesn't even have a tent you don't have a tent so i don't know that i don't have to talk about yourself no you don't that's my number one point i have a tent i have a rod i have blades i have my garment i've got a radio i've got i've got so your whole argument is gear gear is literally the most important thing here i'll solve that today well you should i am going to rei on the way home well it closed i'm going to spend way more money than the one in soho went out of business well good luck find them oh boy are there can't possibly be another outdoor camping type store no there really isn't that was actually a paragon sport sells all that shit you can go to paragon that's gonna cost you an arm and a leg on 16 god forbid this is survival we're talking about you think i'm not gonna bet on my future i do agree you shouldn't be sparing any expense but you're gonna be getting fucked in the ass by paragon they're gonna they're gonna bend you over and they're gonna fuck you i missed the train on rei so now we are where we are and i have to you've made it clear that i have to buy these things and we're getting a leather tent bare skin tent patchwork lv pattern tent it's a rolex clock mounted on the side of it where'd you get that knife oh it was a supreme i waited in line for 14 hours i slept in this chair that i bought from prada roan what's your case i'm not i i wouldn't do i wouldn't thrive or survive so you can't have that mindset realistically neither of us would make it we'd both die probably trying to get out of new york my case i don't agree my best case is that i get frustrated less easily than either of you i wouldn't get frustrated you guys might by myself i'm good yeah you would you would try to quit survival you would rage quit survival no you can't what you would you would find a way i would i my plan would be strategically get out of the city as fast as possible for me that would probably mean going upstate i would probably try to find my way to francis's house yeah well talking about all this and then what do we have up there i have a home and then i would destroy francis's house to make sure he doesn't win the competition start a fire in the living room yeah no the first thing i have to do is make sure i beat francis to his house when you call him and you're like francis bad news your house has exploded someone came in and someone already exploded your house do not even bother like tower seven all over again someone came in and filled it with sand what a signature move from somebody i wonder who filled it with sand i do think i could start a better fire than you much quicker though so i do think that should be a flint and steel for sure well i don't know if we need flint and steel but i was gonna say that that was literally well you can't use a fucking lighter to start the fire but we would have to do it somewhere where it's not like how are we gonna do it where we have just raw materials we'd have to get to the woods we're gonna go to the woods yeah and you and i are gonna have a competition about who can start and build a fire no matches no matches no we have to do it the native american so flint and steel is that our only source deal and the fire has okay wait hold on now i'm lost so how are we igniting you're gonna have to figure out your own way i know how i'm doing it oh that feels like friction more of a hassle i'm gonna use friction so this could take out i mean this could take hours it could take a while if you don't know what you're doing i do and by the way honor system you can't look up how to figure this out what are you obviously i'm gonna look up how to do it and you're then you're behind that's gonna be a five minute penalty no that's crazy then i get to piss on your fire before you start that doesn't make any sense soak your materials you can't then then then you're being unreasonable i'm not being unreasonable that would be like if i said we can do flint and steel but you don't get flint or steel what do you mean i don't know how to do it start a fire with flint and steel everybody knows how to start a fire with flint and steel i've watched enough survivor i know that you need to have the very light uh tiny string and that's where you chunk it into and then you have the bigger sticks on top of that and then the real big sticks on top of that and you need to we we're gonna put strings over yours too where you you need to make a nice enough configuration that you can burn through the string yeah yeah is it flint and steel or is it flint and tinder no it's flint and steel you don't even know about fatwood do you of course i know about fatwood no fatwood is off limits i was really hoping you didn't know about fatwood you can't bring you can't but we used to have a little you can find you could find fatwood uh i mean maybe not talking about kindling you literally can find fatwood i know flatwood to be like those uh little sort of uh tight sticks we used to have a ton of them there'd be like a hundred of them that would come and they burned the easiest and you'd put that in almost as like a fire starter yeah no you can find those naturally in the woods but i always thought they burned so well because they were like soaked in something there's like a whatever it's i don't know what it is but like if you smell fatwood it like has like a smell like it's chemically or some shit tyler can we look up uh does fatwood occur naturally it does we found it in why because we found it in wyoming and that's what we used to start our fires that's a point for you unless bow like just like lied and found it and just like had it that would occur entirely naturally as biological environmental process and pine trees yeah okay interesting it's the sticky resin yeah i knew it was the sticky resin it's the inside and you shave it down you shave it down into some flakes very easily flammable i smoked some really good fatwood the other night really pack my bong with some sticky resin fatwood no you probably die quick i'll tell you i coughed up a lung yeah sure did smoking fatwood yeah may as well just smoke a fucking starter log i always thought it was like uh kind of made you know i didn't know it was found yeah i my my uh parents had a lot of money and they were like i just had a bucket of this we had a bucket we had a bucket exactly you can buy it yeah i'm sure that's what it is but i didn't know how i don't know if it was like a dura log i've never thought about the fatwood before they're a flame they're a flame log would be fine i think what he said was fine no we all got it you would have gotten it wrong on jeopardy that's for sure you get a little bit of like outdoors talk and you act like you're fucking bear grills it's also truly weird because you don't go outside well i mean you're telling me you're just gonna start a fire fast to me I mean, you don't even know what fat wood is. What are we talking about? We're going to find out. We'll find out. If I beat you for the 19th time in a row. And you can't use AI. That was what I said. No, you can research beforehand. We'll give you the. Drawing the line at AI. I am. We'll give you the F section of the encyclopedia hardcover. And you can look up fire, fatwood, flamers. I don't know how to do no flint and steel or anything like that. So I'm going to have to figure that out. You're going to have to look that up. We're going to do this and we are. We're going to do it the old-fashioned way. So what do you do? Do you do like the piece of wood? So basically the way I remember it, because we. I remember. I don't even know how I'm arguing with you right now. I just don't know why this has gotten under my skin. Because I know for a fact. You know I'm an Eagle Scout. In school. In school, I distinctly remember. They had these. I think they were. Wabanaki camps that were. It was like this Wabanaki tribal land. It was a tribe that used to come. Live in Maine. And they had built huts in the fashion of the Wabanaki tribe. And there was some like historical society that was like preserving. Whatever. All their shit. And then the guides who were just white dudes. But like were very well learned about this tribe. Would give demonstrations to us. We would go on field trips to these. But we went like a lot. And on one of them, the guide started a fire for us using only sticks. And he had a log, like a flat log that had a. It had a trench in the middle. And then he had another stick. And he just slid it for a long time to create friction, right? At the end of it was a little piece of hay or like a sort of dried grass. Very, very flammable. And he was just creating like heat towards that. Until finally at the end. I don't know exactly how it like combusts or whatever. I think you're describing masturbation. There was enough heat and enough friction that that guide came. And. I just feel like this is like. Without the fire with it. Yeah. Like we might both end up without any fire. No. One of us is making. I'm so confident I can do this. Have you done it before? No. Okay. But I don't. I don't go into things unless I'm sure I won't fail. All right. Especially with regard to you. We'll see about that. This is also native to being a human being. Like creation of fire. Of course. We have to know this. It's in us all. You know what the sad part of this all is, Harry? Is that based on everything we've talked about, if you and I were actually to come together and pair our skills, we would be better off. You've got the gear. I've got the house. I don't need that. I know how to start the fires. I can. To be honest, I don't even really need the fire. I can socialize with rival tribe, with rival bands and create a barter system for things we might need, whereas you won't talk to them. I mean. Realistically, I think that in that scenario, I would wind up as like a warlord riding on the front of a dumpster or something like that. Being like, you two, eat those two. In the hills. I think that's how I would really shake out. My precious. Yeah, it would be like the road. I mean, we're going to have to find somewhere to do this and we're going to have to do it before it gets, you know. I think the colder it is, the better. Really? Yeah, we're building a fucking fire. I think we go fall. Maybe November. Fine. Upstate? Done. A couple episodes upstate? We don't even really need to go upstate. Fire week. You just go somewhere and just start a couple fires. Fire week is good. Fire week would be nice. Fire week has a nice ring to it. Because, like, what else is there? Other than fire. Right. That's all we got left. Peter Thiel can't take that away from us. He can't take away the flame. He's finding out a way. Yeah. He's going to extinguish them. Didn't he shut down Gawker because he was a flame? Ever since. They have a clearing, a place where you can camp up at my place upstate. So we could theoretically. We could go there to do the fire challenge. And just go home, right? Yeah. And then immediately. Just leave the fires roaring. Climate control. All right. Well, that's one. We're all done. Who's taking my mic? Oh, I forgot my mic. I forgot to take off my mic. Yeah, we should probably bring, like, a fire extinguisher out. Because I got a feeling mine's going to be ripping. Could well be. Ripping? No chance. It's going to be like a bonfire? No chance. Are you throwing dead trees into mine? Funeral pyre. What else? What else we got? There was one other thing I wanted to say about my dinner date with Rico that I forgot. Because it was the funniest thing. He wanted to come on here and, like, talk about that. Really? Yeah. He was. It's all he's been able to talk about. I'm surprised that he. Yeah, that was so funny. That was so funny. What? The bad guy? Say hello to the bad guy. Yeah? But no, no. But you're the. We got it. No, no. I'm the bad guy. I'm the bad guy. Right? I'll never get over it. Every chance you get, I'm the bad guy. Killed me. There was one other thing. His wife was hysterical. Hysterical. Where, you know, she was busting his balls a lot. And at one point, we were talking about work or whatever. And, you know, I was like, you know, you get it. You get it a lot. You get hit. You get. You get punched around a lot. Like, we all go get it at some point, but you get it a lot. And she's like, yeah, but, you know what I mean? He brings it on himself. And I'm like, yeah, maybe a little. I don't know. And she's like, you know, you know, she's like, she's like, you know, we got two kids and you're throwing high noon cans in a contract year renewal. I mean, I'm just saying we got two kids, you know, you can't be throwing high noon cans when your contract's up. But like, whatever. Still love you. I love you. I've got a mother of your kids, but you can't be throwing high noon cans when you got a contract coming up. As if it was the first time they've talked about it. It was so funny. It's hilarious. I brought that up, Francis. I love you. I'm mother of your children. You're throwing high noon cans when your contract isn't done. I'm just saying. You can't. I mean, she's not wrong. You can't be throwing high noon cans during a contract year. Dude, did David and Derek Carr talk about the Bush? Oh, yeah. They're big. They're big supporters. The two quarterbacks who were number one. Overall picks and brothers are both just fans of the Bush. They've been fans. They were fans all last year. I feel like Jerry kept on telling us about it. He kept on saying, like, the Carr brothers are always in his Twitch. And he was thinking of Click and Clack, the Tappet brothers from NPR, Car Talk. It's a very niche one. No, that shout out was crazy. Right at the end of PMT, Big Cat texted me about it last night. Hey, go Bush. Go Bush. Oh, are you guys Bush fans? We're rooting for you guys. We're rooting for you. Unchained? That's amazing. Yeah. I love that. Are you guys gamers? No, big time. 2K is our game right now. We're playing 2K. Yeah. Fuck yeah. All right. So we got to get you. We got to get a Bush-Carr brother collab. That'd be fun. We would thoroughly enjoy that. Were you fired up or what? Of course. You had to look up who they were? No. Come on now. With your non-ball-known ass? Derek Carr. I'm very familiar. Wait, didn't you say Noah Gray was going to score a touchdown? And he had one catch for five yards? I was wrong. And you're like, wait, mark my fucking words. People were trying to hit me up being like, fucking awful pick. And it was like, the episode came out the day after. You didn't even know about the pick. Don't be acting mad like I was telling everyone to take the pick. That's fair. I told us. That's fair. And I promised that none of you guys took it. Neither of you guys took my pick. We didn't take it at all. Did you see that I got like a notification that the NBA, MLS, MLB, NHL, NFL, they're all coming to me. They're all coming together to crack down on civilians bullying athletes about gambling stuff. Really? It's like, what the fuck can they do about that? They can't do shit about that. Like, we're going to crack down on heckling. Nah, that's your right as an American and as a fan of sports. That's how you balance the ledger. Also, before gambling, people were still shitting on the athletes. Yes, exactly. At least they have a reason now when their bet doesn't hurt. Would you rather just get shit on for playing bad? For your race? Yeah. Yeah. Like, no one's going to do that. No one's mad at Jackie Robinson if gambling's legal. Or at least not for that. Yeah. But it's like, I would much rather people be mad at me because I didn't fucking, you know, maybe my over didn't hit rather than them just being mad because they think I suck at the game. Yeah. I think that I just don't know what they can do. I just don't know what like the MLB is going to be like restricting people's DM access or you're going to make it illegal to DM someone. Yeah. Because then how are the baseball players going to get the hood? That's probably what the flock cameras are for. So we can't shit on athletes publicly anymore. We'll see who's sending what DMs. Yeah. We heard what you said about Cam Scadaboo and his CTE. Just, yeah, some FBI agent showing up at your door. Why do you think Cam Scadaboo's only got two healthy seasons in him, Max? What makes you say that? Because that really hurt him. Yeah. That's more hurtful than getting a concussion or. Yeah. It's a dark time. I mean, yeah. We live in a, it's a full surveillance state now. I mean, there's more, there's more surveilled. countries than us yeah obviously but that's kind of the whole who's more free than us do you think what country is more free than the united states i have no idea that's a good question it ain't england it ain't china in england definitely ain't russia definitely ain't russia so who else who who's more free than us a lot of people complain i mean i i don't know i don't have an answer if i had the actual answer i would say it but i don't want to be wrong and then people be like this is exactly yeah francis what do you think it's not australia money oh new zealand's pretty free new zealand are they yeah new zealand's pretty i thought australia and new zealand has pretty uh tight government on on certain things like didn't during lock during com promo code boy dad that's neutrophil.com promo code boy dad um what do you guys think about um would you would either of you ever have a bird as a pet never no never in a million years why would you ever want that no why would you not want it i just want to know why would i not want that because there's zero i'm not gonna have any connection with a bird why it's more just like something that you have like first of all you're like you're really restricting that bird's life for your like amusement of just looking at it i guess unlike a cat talking to it what about a cat you like play with a cat and you feed a cat no you don't pet a cat you guys don't know cats i have four you don't have any none of your gelatin cats count they're delicious though a bird is literally in a cage yeah but you can let birds out and then they can land on your finger or like on a broomstick like remember marty's bird that was really funny that he had that bird that just landed on a broomstick at his house yeah i don't know about that i don't know if i'm gonna be like getting home and i'm gonna be like getting home and i'm gonna be like getting home from work and being like oh i'm gonna let my bird out to fly around my apartment you don't have to walk it my uncle had birds and apparently it was like if you don't let them out they die yeah i think they need to like fly around the house maybe i mean yeah that would make sense some species yeah need to actually do laps i mean that would be like if you lived inside of like one of those like sensory like deprivation tanks yeah and that was it that was just your life forever that's the equivalent of a bird being in a cage which you don't seem to understand well it's not you're not deprived of all your senses just the sense of the beautiful flight which is their only thing that's all they've got it's flying i my friend ryan uh he house sat and and uh probably like we were 20 and we went over to the house and they had this this beautiful bird this gray bird with like this fucking beautiful hair beautiful feathers and he was like oh my god i'm gonna let it go i'm gonna let it go i'm gonna let it go i'm gonna let it go i'm gonna let it go i'm gonna let it go a pure bread and then uh we went over partied there he showed off the bird then like went over for a party like probably three days later and he was like showing off the bird to another group of people when we went in to check on the bird it was just dead on the bottom oh yeah it was dead on the bottom of the cage i wonder if he had just not let it out enough this is a fresh memory for me i mean it could be a lot of things i'm gonna throw out one other thing that i think is right but i can't remember exactly it's possible that the birds if you don't if you're not there with them they die of loneliness yeah birds might be lonely tyler can we just look up that i mean that would make sense death from loneliness you don't very often see just solo birds i saw a gold i saw a bald eagle yesterday i think my uncle couldn't in the park the birds alone long because they would die of loneliness birds can die from severe loneliness and grief there's some animals that like well actually i guess almost all animals i would say people just shouldn't have like rabbits rabbits die constantly they have heart attacks like immediately no need no need to have a rabbit we had a rabbit growing up so did we we had an angora rabbit yeah oh that's a fine rabbit well wasn't they grow hair so fast that if you don't comb it out every day they suffocate on the ground and they die of loneliness under their own fur and die yeah this is exactly what i'm talking about it should not be in someone's house no well we didn't keep it inside kept it outside and then it died yeah it suffocated and i don't know if it died i don't remember what we did with that i'm gonna go ahead and say it's dead all of our guinea pigs died yeah famously they carried off by ospreys they all die everything dies you get a goldfish my favorite thing i've ever seen it was like nine just the violence of nature oh yeah i love it carried an osprey carried off we created a pen i've told this story many times if you created a little pen with no roof on it we would my sister and i would run them we got two guinea pigs at the fucking county fair they said that they were both like neutered or whatever sure enough they weren't they made it had a hundred children they're probably brother and sister and we it was i don't know 12 fucking guinea pigs all of a sudden we had juniper and hiawatha were their names and then they had all their kids and we would take them out into the grass in the backyard created a pen no roof my sister and i biked one day to the store to get ice cream came back and just in time ran around to the back of the house to see the last guinea pig being carried off in the towns oh yeah of an osprey and i was like that's the coolest thing i've ever seen that's crazy they were all gone solved problems probably so geeked to see these fucking sitting ducks guinea pigs in a fucking pen yeah that's on that's on i mean that's like if you were just walking through the woods and you just came across like a 7-eleven ribeye 7-eleven oh my god no attendant everything's free what the hot dogs are rolling big bites the guinea pigs probably like tell or the the osprey is probably like telling generations of osprey about this fortuitous you'll never believe the best we ever had keep your eyes out sometimes humans leave pens of pigs the day of 12 guinea pigs that must have been so nice i only asked because my wife keeps on talking about wanting to get eventually like she's like i hope we can get a bird someday for the kids real and i was like the only way i want to do it is i just thought it'd be a cute bird name to name a bird poultry i just think it's like a very cute bird that's a good name i like that a little cruel why a little cruel now poultry that's a little on the beak yeah yeah come on poultry i think is nice why don't you guys just get like a photo of a bird okay or like maybe you get like you could get like an aura frame and you could put a video of a bird in it show it to the kids you could put put it on the tv show yeah rather than having an actual bird in the house like you're not gonna want that you're not gonna want that bird at three in the morning when it's fucking yeah yeah time to let it out pieces of eight gotta gotta put your heart gotta put the harness on the bird yeah yeah but pirates i mean they have birds on their shoulder walking your bird on a string like it's a balloon hilarious yeah i don't think i could do it but it has been on my mind just the the idea of having a bird inside of a house a caged bird it's fucked not all birds are meant to be caged brother and watch the caged bird sing with my angelo Just because you can talk Frost doesn't mean I can't talk Angelo. That wasn't even Frost. That was Shawshank Redemption. What? Not all birds are meant to be caged. Two Roads That Verge and Yellowwood was Frost. Oh, yes, of course. It's referential. Yeah. It's called a callback, Harry. A callback. I read that in the book I read about the stand-up comedy. Yeah, yeah. I got to catch up on that. I'm not too familiar. Caged birds sing. I just want to make sure it's Angelo. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I saw a bald eagle in Astoria Park yesterday. You mentioned that. That's cool. Yeah, it was pretty sick. Yeah, so what was it doing? Well, I was walking. It was in Queens? It was in Queens. So it just escaped? I don't know where it came from, but I was walking, and then there was a bunch of people standing around looking at something. I didn't know what it was, so I kept walking past them. And then I saw the bald eagle, and I was like, fuck it, I'm swinging back. Did another lap around the park, come back, take a quick photo of it. Very nonchalant. Didn't want to be one of those, because I've seen a bald eagle. No, you're a birder. You want to let people know, like, this isn't my first bald eagle. I'm not going to stay. I'm not going to look at it first. But you still snapped pic, though. Quick, though. Very discreet. No, it doesn't matter. Just like one just done. That's it. You took a photo of a bald eagle the way the guys at Union Square take upskirt photos. Oh, it was very similar. Very similar. That's why in Japan, now they need the. The click sound on the shutters so people can't sneak bald eagle photos. I took it with my volume button. Like I was on a phone call. But yeah. Surreptitious bald spotting. My mom just texted me she saw a bald eagle in Delaware today. Oh, no, that's a zoom in, and you got close as fuck, bro. No, well, yeah, no, that is a zoom in. I mean, it was super high up. But I walked. I walked right under it. And then as I was walking under it, someone goes, look out, man. And I was like, what? I'm not going to run into. It's a bird of prey. He meant don't get closer to the bird? Yeah, I was like, it's a hundred feet in the air. And there's a thousand people surrounding it. You think I'm going to be the guy to set it off? Yeah, you have to act nonchalant around the bald eagle. If anything, he's going to dip because everybody's gawking at it. I mean, this guy didn't. I mean, he clearly didn't know chalant from nonchalant because he was being extremely chalant. That's making a comeback. That's one of those weird things. What? The whole chalant, nonchalant run, respectfully. Is there any chance that you could stop the. I don't know why. The whole couch has been shaking as if we're snoozing through an alarm. Is your clan getting raided? I don't know how to make it even quieter than it is. It's on. You got that shit on. You got that. You're like a fucking. One of those people at the movie theater with the fucking flashlight. It's just buzzing. The flashlight notification. You ever seen that shit? No. That shit is insane. The chalant, nonchalant thing was a sort of meme-y type thing. Yeah. And then it went away and now it's bubbled back up. Oh, yeah. It's back in full force. It's really interesting. Yeah. Usually those don't come back around. Lingo. Lingo will stick. It always will stick. Was chalant ever a thing before nonchalant? Or did it only. It only exists as nonchalant. Like. I know. Which one came first? The chalant or the non? Like, irregardless. You know? One of those non-word words. Yeah. I've never heard chalant. No, I haven't either until, obviously, I saw it on Reels. It's where I get most of my information these days. Yeah. That's a fucking fact. What are you about to do in Vegas, brother? Get the tables out. Yep. We'll be doing all that and betting. Remember that buddy I told you about? Who had a really bad health situation? Yeah, yeah. In Chicago? Actually, I think you've met him. My buddy. Yeah. He was in Chicago, right? Yep. Chicago. Yeah. So he came through that. Awesome. Which was crazy. And I think he'd be okay with me saying this. He had a child. Like, when he was diagnosed, his wife was pregnant. Yeah. So he went through all of that. And she was unbelievable. Helping him in the hospital. All that brain surgery. While he was. While she was pregnant. And then, when he was out, he had to do radiation treatments to shrink the tumor in his brain. And. Because they didn't get it all or something. And then, he had to do that right before his wife gave birth. Which meant that, like, his radiation levels were so high that he could not meet his daughter. Damn. Because it would have been dangerous to her. So, his wife. His wife came home from the hospital with their baby. And he had to stay behind his door. Like, bedroom door. That's crazy. For, like, a week. A full week before his levels went down enough that he could emerge to meet his daughter for the first time. That's insane. Isn't that crazy? Yeah. That's nuts. So, anyway. He came through all that. All signs are good. Prognosis is good. Tumor is shrunk to a stable level. And. And it's a benign tumor. But it was, you know, in a bad spot. Yeah. Yeah. And so, I think, as a way of celebrating all of that, we're all going to Vegas. Hell yeah. And he and I are rooming together. Oh, wow. Because we're the only two who don't make enough money to get around here. But we. Are you guys staying somewhere pretty nice? I think we're staying at the Wynn. Yeah. You gotta be at the Wynn. I'm on now. Old Vegas? New Vegas? What are we talking here? It's the Wynn, bro. It's New Vegas. I don't know where it is. I've been to Vegas twice. You just stink of brokenness, bro. And one of them was for a video game tournament. Um, yeah, no, it'll be, it'll be fun. I'm not a Vegas guy. You'll have a good time. I'm just not. I don't think, first of all, I don't think, like, I think there's a very few amount of people who are actually like Vegas people. There are people who love it. Yeah, there are. But I think most of the people that are going are like, I'm not, like, it's not their ideal. But you have fun. Like, you'll have fun. I'm excited, you know, for the dinner. Um, and people have told me, too, things that I can do when I don't want to just be playing blackjack for 14 hours a day. They said that the spa is really nice. Oh, yeah, I'm sure. I looked into playing some golf, but I don't really want to do that. When are you leaving? Tomorrow night? No, when do you leave Vegas? Sunday morning. I was going to take the red eye home on Saturday, but I didn't want to miss the Saturday dinner. Or I would have made the dinner, but like, I don't know. The red eye would have just been stupid. Ball on Sunday in Vegas is very fun. So that's. But you'll have college. You'll watch some college ball. I would like to. It sucks that I won't be able to be there, at least for the midday game. Oh, wait, you're leaving tomorrow? No, I'm leaving. What? For Vegas? Yeah. Leaving tomorrow. Coming back Sunday morning. You'll get Bill's Lions. Well, we'll be in the air for it. Oh, really? Mm-hmm. That sucks. I don't know. One of the times I went to Vegas, I stayed for Sunday, and we watched a bunch of football. It was super fun. And that was fun? Did you watch it at a sports book? Yeah, it was fun as fuck. That's cool. And having, like, the paper bet slips is so fun. I do want to be part of that. That sounds awesome. I don't think it's fun enough to stay an extra day in Vegas, though. Unless everyone's doing it. I could see you thriving at that outdoor pool, where they have all of the. You can watch the games on the huge wall of TVs. Yeah, that's cool. But you could also have your shirt off. Oh, yeah. Pop the top, get some rays. They say that the. Health of the American economy, one indicator that's bad is that a lot of those outdoor pool bar areas have reintroduced 3-2 blackjack. Oh. Where you get the 3-2 payouts. Yeah. Because normally, it's 6-5 for those. You can only find 6-5 tables, which, you know, is bad. Yeah. I mean, I don't know if it's still happening, but I know, like, at least a couple of years ago. Or recently, they were saying that, like, the Vegas, like, tourists had gone down, like, significantly. Doesn't surprise me. Because everyone's just getting boned. Well, I think you can also just gamble at home. That is true. That is also true. You don't have to go to Atlantic City and Las Vegas as your gambling destinations anymore. Yeah. It is fun, though. It's fun going. To Vegas? To Vegas. I'm too old to enjoy the clubs. Not going to want to do that. Yeah, no. I don't really know what else there is. I mean. Gambling. There's good golf out there. I'm not going to go to, like, Cirque du Soleil. Are you going to golf? No. There's good courses out there. He said it. I think he distinctly said, I'm not going to golf. I don't want to do that. Why? You were in La La Land. I must have been. Because. I think because my friends aren't going to want to do it, and for me to just disappear for five hours on this, like, boys trip to go do something like that feels. How many bros are going? Like something you would do. No, I wouldn't do that. Unless it was at night, then I would. Unless it was in his hotel room. Yeah. Unless there were nine holes in there. There's like 12 of us. 12 bros? Holy shit. And where are your dinners? One night we're going to Casa Cipriani. Oh my god. Or to Cipriani, maybe. Oh my god. Is that what it's called? God. What? Love that place. You like Harry Cipriani. No, no. That is a place, Harry Cipriani, I think. Casa Shrimp Cocktail. And then another night I. I can't remember. I can't remember. I can't remember. text the boys I will I'll find out I need to know where he's eating i want that for itinerary i need the entire list ronan i got into it a little bit earlier today um he tried to scam me in like a really weird abusive way you said i want to trade saquon barkley and then he texts me on the side he so then he immediately takes it to a side text because he knows if he said if you know if you offered that trade in the group chat people would have been like sass don't do this like this is insane ron's trying to fleece you i offered etienne and downs for barkley now you did not
