Like, the pressure is on you, because I reckon this is the first year. I didn't get bad feedback. It was like, oh, I can't believe I'm rolling that bad boy out. But anyway, it is the Amy Community Series. What are we looking for? What are the key things that we're looking at over these nine games, when they threw it a Sunday? We see the teams play. well, proper football now. It's not match-sim stuff. They're not stopping at the end of the game and going, all right. Let's have a scenario where we're down. We'll talk about points or anything like that. This is. well, Fair Dinkham, some things are still different. Of course. Of course, you've got extended squads. You're going to have players that will play half a game and things like that. But. What are we trying to watch? The next game is a real deal. So it's going to be. We're going to get a fair idea from most clubs. Okay. So we're looking at, like, role is probably the biggest thing, like, who's making up midfield mix. What rucks are actually going to start? I don't think we've ever had so many question marks about what rucks are going to. Start in the middle or stay in the middle, all those types of things. What ruckis are going to put their hand up to the point where they say, "You don't have a choice." Like you have to lock me in. And are they accumulating in that role? Yeah. We've got to remember, though, what Dane Swan says. Right? There is that. Yes. Yes. Good players don't try. Even in this one, he didn't pump 100 in these games. No. So we're going to go over a little 50, 60 and you shouldn't be too alarmed when you see the. No, it's not about the premiums. However, we want to see the premiums playing their roles. Yeah. Especially if there are question marks over some roles and what they might do because we're talking about some splits for some players. We probably want to see it more on the positive side of what we're expecting as well. That's the thing. Yeah. So, going back to what you said there about Swanee, we would still see him go and line up in the middle. If this wouldn't try in there. So we just need to see players of that caliber. Is there role? Yeah. What we expect it to be. And pecking orders the other thing. I think this gives us a better idea of where we've got players in the pecking order or clubs do, especially for these kids. Yes. That's probably what it's all about. Anyway, we're going to look at every game that we've got coming up and we're just going to give a point each. Yeah. Now, we've had our six clubs each to deal with over these abs. To deal with over these six pre-season. Yeah. We've started back in December boys with our club previews and all that sort of stuff. So we're going to look at our clubs that we've got in your question or what you're looking for or the thing that is most important for the game that they're playing. We'll go through in the games in order. So we're starting with the Wednesday night game, which is Carlton and Jelong. All right. I think you've got both of these teams right now. What do you have for it? What are the things that you are keeping your eye out for? We're starting on a high M. Which is all down here from there. Okay. So Sam Walsh is in the middle. Like, we know Sam Walsh is a midfielder but Carlton over the last few years, they're happy to push him to wings and flanks and things like that. He's had an uninterrupted pre-season. Sam Walsh with an uninterrupted pre-season and bulk CBAs is 110. And a headband? And a head. Yeah. 112. Yes. And Sam Walsh, and basically if he's in for bulk, he's in our teams. Okay. I also want to see when humans are if he's named, if he plays. Because I had him not playing opening round because I thought he was coming from a bit too far back. I'd be interested in that as well. Playing that way. That is where Phil Prackie is. Yes. So yeah. So it's about that underpriced pre-season. It is pretty much. Yes. While you're looking at it. What do you got for the cats then? Well, the cats, they're pretty irrelevant at the moment, to be honest, especially. From where I'm coming from, with my team makeup. But I am always interested in Sean Manard. Now he showed last year through a significant patch that he can score elite numbers. So I saw Miser's out injured at the moment. So in draft, if you want to quick start, Manard might even get a little boost. He could. He's one that honestly, if he comes out with a great role and then pumps out a good one opening round. He's one you would automatically start to consider. I think so. And Tana Bruins, and he's a very famous start other game with the illness. So hopefully we get to see what he could look like, because he would be, well, a nice cheap option. This morning. Sydney Swans and GWS play at 410 on Thursday afternoon. Sydney Cow, you are the Swans man. Expert. Sydney expert is what I'm labelled as now. Yep. Obviously Gordon's got the early boy. But we've all got him. Do you have him Roy? He's come in. Yeah, he has to. He just looks too good. He does. So he had 110 odd, half points. He's in the, in the max sim. So he's flying. Yeah. And you want that. So if you're taking on the early boy with a guy like him, you want him humming. Yeah. So I think he's proven that the other one I have a keep an eye on from the GWS is Harry Roaster and Harry. He's either one. He's either real deal for him. So he scored 90 odd in the max sim. And he's priced at about 52. So does he get a bump with all the outs that they've got? He could be that mid-priced player that he could be looking at. Like his price and average from last year is down because of all the. Well, this. So. And now they've got, we've already had a cheat code on him haven't we? Is a part of this worry though that like when Finn Callahan is back as well? Well, yes. Because we're not going to see him. It's got to be a slight concern, but I think Harry can do enough in that game. It's eyes on for sure. He could. he's my boy right. - You're still playing with this one. I'm out. - Now I'm out as well. - I'm out. - I'm out as well because it kicks four goals in the match him. Sitting deep forward. - It's amazing. I know I thought I'd bring him over to the list. In the match, see him, he took eight months. - Yes, right. - That looks great. - He's great. - He's good. - He looks great. But we need him back. We can't have him forward. So hopefully, whatever that was doing on that match. - Was that just a bit of running? - Yeah. - He likes to do that. - Yeah, I think it's, that's a worry. - There's a lot of mouse to feed in the back half. - He's only priced at 50 and he's playing for the Globe Trotters. - I know. So Zik Yuleen, probably the key there. We're just seeing if he's going to be an on field player. - That's it. - You know, because we're going to have him out. - Not a ranked number one on the rookie rankings in defense. But yeah, he's not necessarily a lock lock. - No. - And Petracker. What do we need to see? - Yeah, so that's another one. I hopefully will see the full list. - Yeah. - And we need to see, nice to be 50% plus. Now Matt Rouse out for a bit to start with. So I think he becomes behind Naur Anderson. That's where the mid clocks there. They've got that easy run to start the season. So you've got to remember that after Goulker, after sorry, Jolong in the first opening round game, they do go the Eagles, then the Tigers. - So Gwack. - It's just a, it's making that peak now. So I was watching thinking role first, and I liked what I saw in match scene. But then I was like watching these passages of play, like Link Up Chains, and I could see him there, and I'm like, what are you doing there? Like. - Which is completely opposite of the intro club game. - Yeah, exactly right. So which one is he? Is he an overreacting ideas of where he's at? Is he maximum impact or is he able to accumulate any impact? - Yeah. - I just want to see him in the middle again, except getting involved. Just rack up a few chapies. If he does, he'd be in for me, I reckon. - Okay. - Now, Laura, is the other one that I'm watching because at the moment I've got him locked into my forward line, and I've got high hopes because I've seen that number four on the bat that gets me excited. But I also, like he's style of play, the fact that he's got runs on the board as a kid. He's built to dominate. Now, is he going to be unleashed in the midfield? What are he splits like? Obviously, we didn't see much from him in match scene, but that was nothing to worry about. But now I will start to worry if I seem sitting in the goal square or not getting busy in the middle. - Yeah. - They're going to be interesting because there's actually some bodies there. You're throwing hot in as well. And then, he's the other part of these guys, just all those kids, how many can fit? - Yeah. - How many will be there for opening round one? Sorry for those guys. - Like I mean, surely, he bumps all of them. - Yes. - Oh, 100%. - If they want him in there, - Yeah, definitely. - The stage of his development, though. - And there's even guys like coming and gruel. Can we play those guys on field? So I'll be watching all of them, but Lawler, because he's more of an investment, he's the one that I'm watching the closest. - Yeah, I like that. - All right, Western Bulldogs play against Hawthorne. We know of all on the Friday night. Bulldogs, they've been my team. They're looking at them a lot. Enjoyed watching them the other day. Lucky Jacks, just 'cause he's come up, and Jacks, maybe if you wanted to get your friend Sean to California. - Oh, wee wee. - Hey, in the back line. We just want to see if that's real, and if he can have a spot there, because there are some spots open. - There is. - Off the back of things, but him, and I want to throw Buddha Rikki in there, is that sort of thing as well. Like, is that cheap before that some people have gone for? I don't think I'm going to play in those areas at the moment, but it's almost a bit of a combo with those two to see what's going on. Conjacks, get that game. Do we see Dale after hurting his knee last week? What that looks like? But Bulldogs are an opening round team, so there's a bit going to be learnt from that first game, so of the season. So yeah, that's going to be my Bulldogs watch. Otherwise, you sort of kind of know what's going on with those guys. - I think so. - They're pretty pretty. - We're looking at Frazier coming up. So if you've got your drafts and where that might put him on, you're rankings for the forwards, because I think he's going to get mid-clock, and I think he could actually be a little bit of a sleeper as such, just someone that's moving up your draft. - Yeah, good point. - Who looked at Hawthorne? - Me. - That was destroyed. - C-Mac, so obviously was a buzz name through all of pre-season, even from what December when spots kept opening up week by week in the Hawthorne midfield, and he was someone that we know has been able to do it in the past and everyone's been speculating that he'd do it to start the season. In the match, he was in there enough. He actually played quite well in that. And thing I like about him as well, he does accumulate marks around the ground. So he did both of those to be the top scorer in that match. Now, if he's playing more than 50% in the midfield, and you know, do anything with that five plus marks, rack 'n' up 20 plus touches, he's got to be well and truly in the mix. That gets near close to a lock, I reckon, I need 50%. - Yep. - Because he's not going to be in the top three. - Midfielders for them. - Yeah, okay. Who is? - Oh, well, you'd have to be going nuke. - Yes. - Ward, I reckon. - Yeah, Ward's there. - And then it's going to be like your Nash type, I think he actually becomes that third guy. - Man, that's a weak midfield, isn't it? - Oh yeah, they know that Zach Merritt. - I do. - I don't want to go there. - So he's not a 50% guy. - I think he can still be. I think even as the fourth banana, he can be. - Yeah. - The fourth. - Is he more on the ball? - On the ball realistic. 40. - Yeah, is that what he did in that other game? - It was about a ball. - It would have been a ball in the hand. - Yeah. - And still scored a time. - Yeah. - Yeah. - And he's got only shots of doing. - And he certainly won't be watching that. - Are you guys concerned that we've gone halfway through these games and nearly all the players were looking at the mid process? - Well, that's what this is about. - I know, but we're not looking at it. - You know what I'm saying? - This is why we end up with bad status. - I'm just saying, we're all looking at these mid-price guys that well, very rarely actually pay off. - We know what we're gonna get from the top guys. - Yeah. - The rookies obviously, a little bit out of our hands, but we're watching there. - He really wants to get in the look at Cal. - He really wants to get to see the error good or not. All right, some Kielder. There's a fair bit there because they're gonna be one of the more relevant teams. I think most of us have got three, four, very much on the radar in our squads. We've got our lock there in Flanders and that doesn't change. I don't think, actually, I don't think anything that happens in that game changes. - No. - If he plays in the midfield deck, he'll be then flows back tick. But he's made in the midfield, it's the poo. I reckon he, he unlocks a fair bit in our four ones, if you can whack him in there. So he did tick boxes as a midfielder in the match team. So scored well. Let's hope that he gets that and gets through as well. 'Cause he's probably being part of an issue with that. So that's there. And then, yeah, I think we're just, we're picking him if he is getting some midfield clock and that's part of his role. - Great. - It's a unlocking gift at the moment. It is really back to the drawing board if we lose someone like him that we're so confident. - Yes, big time. - Another one that unlocks things is where I reckon in the midfield is Carol as one of those mature age as such. Cash cows that we can be looking at that we talked about in that last episode. But how that looks, we've seen Claire, what that looks like. Easy gonna be there for opening round. But probably more importantly round one. 'Cause he could be there for opening round and suck and then be dropped for that next game. So yeah, we'll be watching that one fairly closely and then flicking to the bombers. It's gonna be, I guess the rookie watch. 'Cause they've got some that we wanna have. Think Farrow, Sharp, they're the ones that are probably the borderline guys. And can they play in this game to give themselves a chance to be there for round one against Hawthorne? And then it's just Blackistan just to go, yep, we're doing that. DeGoey was the sort of permanent number one banana midfielder. Obviously Nick comes in after his origin, Tom offers that last game, but DeGoey is one that I keep picking up late in mock drafts, but also in real drafts, because I think he's one of those guys. - That's a good one. - This should be pretty right with that midfielder time, and you know, does that mean angry Anderson? - Oh, that's a bad for glory. - Yes, yes. - Anyway, all right, let's go into the last game, which is West Coast and Port Adelaide.
