Okay, so real talk, most businesses fail, but I'm going to show you how to be the outlier and it starts with identifying 10 common mistakes that business owners make. There are success killers, as I call them. So number one, you're spending too much time on social media. After being in this challenge, this is no surprise to you, but just as a quick reminder, making money from your business does not involve wasting your life on a platform you don't own. So instead, focus your energy on creating assets you control like your email list and website where real connection and where real connections and conversions happen. Number two, you're focused on quantity over quality. More doesn't mean better, so spitting out a gazillion posts won't get you the gold star in business. Instead, concentrate on delivering higher impact quality content that actually resonates with your audience. Authentic connection is better than vanity metrics like followers, likes, comments, page views all day, every day. Number three, you're not optimized for SEO. If you're not harnessing the power of Google and using keywords properly, optimizing your site for performance, for backlinks, for eat, which is something that we've talked about in another episode that's experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness, you'll never get the organic traffic you need to succeed, no matter how great your content and offers are. So stop shouting into the void. SEO is your ticket to drive organic high quality traffic straight to your doorstep without ads or social media. Number four, you treat your business like a hobby. Oh my gosh, if I had a nickel for how many people I saw doing this, it would be very wealthy, so not making time for it and putting everything and everyone else first because maybe you're not making money yet. Well, that's a vicious cycle and it's a self fulfilling prophecy. If you want to get paid like a business, treat your business like a business. You want to get paid like a hobby, AKA not get paid, keep treating your business like a hobby. Okay. Number five, you're not utilizing your email list. So do you have a welcome nurture series in place? Do you have valuable lead magnets on your blog and your website? Do you have a weekly newsletter that goes beyond your RSS feed? Do you have evergreen sales funnels working for you on autopilot? If not, you're leaving a whole lot of money on the table. Number six, you're trying to do too many things, so I know you're already working so hard, but the solution to finally making money equals working less, not more. The key is knowing exactly what to focus on. Number seven, you're neglecting self care. So boundaries are your business besties. Burnout is not a badge of honor, nor is busy. Go to nourish to flourish. So when you say no to what doesn't serve you, watch how it clears the path for what does. Number eight, you don't have passive income streams. So without a clear affiliate marketing strategy and evergreen funnel system in place, you will always be trading your time for dollars and constantly be chasing more followers and traffic. Number nine, you're all talk and no action. So ideas are cheap. Execution is gold. So stop just thinking about doing things and start actually doing them. So now that we've unmasked these 10 success killers lurking in your entrepreneurial journey, let's jump to the antidote. Drumroll please, introducing the freedom formula.
