Find your fall capsule at Abercrombie, shop in the app online, and in stores. What's up everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Re and Fran giving you that Friday energy on a Friday. Happy Friday everybody. Happy Friday. Happy Friday, happy middle of August. The dog days. Since we're a weather podcast, I would like to say, I think August is the worst weather month. Years ago, I would have been all for August because it's summer, summer is shiny, it's sparkly. August has the worst humidity. Yeah, it's bad. It's a terrible weather month in my opinion. I just saw it sweet that with someone ranking the months in Manhattan, based on weather, like all 12 months in the year. And August was worst. I think August was last year. August is up there for sure, is bad. In New York City, it is just a terrible month to be in New York City in August, yeah. But it would be your top five. Worst or best? Worst, best. Best. Okay, I want to say October, number one. I think October is just a gem in the city. My birthday. October, April, April. Yeah, April starts to get like a little bit. That's probably low on my list. Maybe not two, but it's in my top five. I want to say October, I need to like visualize this, like I need to like write it down, look at the months. No, not even that, I just need to like write, yeah, I need to look like write down my favorite months and then. I like, I think October is one, honestly, October, November, December, like high, yeah, I thought maybe go October, June, November, December, April. That's my top five, October, June, November, December, April, no September. I think I would go. I have to leave room for October and November. I think this would be my top five and in order, September, October, May, June, December, December. December sneaks in there because of Christmas. All the holidays, I can leave up to the holidays. So that's a little less weather and more, just like crimes, right, for that and that makes it in, but I would go, yeah, I would go September, like the shoulder months really. December, October, the May, June, June or no, I think I go May, June and then December. Yeah, it's tough because if you're only going, if you were just going in general, right, but we're not doing, we're not doing, we're doing, we're doing, this is our top five New York City, like to be in New York City, New York City, yeah. So yeah, I don't even maybe go October, September, October is my number one, October, September, I like just because you do kind of get like half. Summer weather still a little bit, but you lose, yeah, but you lose a lot of the August humidity and like those first few weeks of September, we can only pray. Yeah, let me tell you, I was getting dressed this morning, I put on three cute outfits before I landed on wearing my Cheetah Girls T-shirt and Biker shorts. Yeah, a three cute outfits on. I said, oh my god, these are so cute. Why am I wasting them in this horrible humidity? I'm not wasting them. And then he's actually going down right now. Thank God, but then we got an email that the air conditioner in the office isn't working. So I was like, fuck this Cheetah Girls it is and by the way, while I have you guys, yeah. Cheetah Girls came out in 2003. So I was absolutely watching this live when it came out and we were just talking about 2003, I was sick. Yeah, I was watching these things live. Yeah, because I remember watching Cheetah Girls live. So we were discussing like the premiere. Yes, the premiere of the Cheetah Girls. It wasn't just like a Friday night that it was on TV. I watched the Cheetah Girls come out. And so I'm thinking we don't have the correct visual or we're just not thinking correctly on like when kids are watching certain things. Because when you're six, you are starting to watch other things besides it just depends on where you are in your family. But yeah, because I'm the youngest. So it's like, yes, for you, it makes sense. For me, I was not watching Disney Channel at six years old. So it's just like, right, right. I think it just that. But Cheetah Girls is my number two favorite Disney Channel movie. Yeah. And I remember watching it when it came out. That's pretty impressive just in general in terms of memory. I don't remember anything from six years old. I don't remember. I remember as far back as pre-K. I don't remember. I have memories that I question like, are they real? You know, because I'm like, are they real or is this just like a picture? I just, I don't remember. Like I don't, I don't think most people remember like kinder. You remember like moments like flashes. Yeah, I don't remember every day, but I remember specific memories from dating back to pre-K. But I can't say pre pre-K. I remember pre-K. I remember my first day of pre-K. I talked about this, I wore a tie-dye outfit, I beat my pants, my parents had to pick me up. Yeah. I do remember. But then it's also like, it's just the conundrum of like, do I really remember or is it just a story that has been told to me every year? And so therefore it is a memory of kindergarten. Like we always talk about how I walked into kindergarten. I didn't know anybody. But then I saw Claire, Claire and I went to pre-K camp together, the summer of four. So it was like, we talk about, see each other that first day of kindergarten. But I don't know if it's just because every year we talk about how we, right, found each other kindergarten or if I actually remember walking it and seeing her, which I don't see. Can you see it in your brain? No, not at all. Then you just, then yeah, that's a difference because I think you have to think like that's a story. Like if you bring up a story from pre-K kindergarten that you are bringing up, like that p-my pants is a story I bring up. And I remind my family that that happened, right? Like they're not like, Maria, you paid your pants the first, I'm like, no, no, I remember this happening. Yeah. And I see it with my eyes. Yeah. You're, you just have like, we met, but you can't visualize it. No, no, I could like make it up, you know? Yeah, that's like, it's not it. I remember what my kindergarten classroom looked like. Okay, yeah, then so you remember that? That was about it. And I remember being on like the bus, I remember being on the bus to my preschool to the camp that I went to before kindergarten. I actually ended up being a camp at the high school that I ended up going to with Claire and one other girl that I ended up becoming friends with later in life too. But that, the blimps of that. So you remembering it? Yeah. I remember cutting my own hair. Like I remember more traumatic things like times where I was getting yelled at. That makes sense. One time I cut, sometimes you ever just have like, this was really what an intrusive thought just took over. I was sitting in the back seat of our minivan. I don't, I'm not unsure what age I was at. Had to been somewhere between like, seven and nine. Like, old enough to know that I should not be doing this. I'm sure where the scissors came from, but there were scissors. And I just thought to myself, what if I just cut my seatbelt? And then I did, and then you did, and then how much trouble did you get? So much trouble. My dad was fucking furious. Right. And then the seatbelt just held on for dear life for a long time. Like, because I didn't, I didn't go clean cut. I did like halfway before someone realized what I was doing. And then it was like, what the fuck are you doing? Yeah. I feel like so many people have those moments, intrusive thoughts when you're a kid. And you're like, and you just do, you just do it. I did the kindergarten. I did the same thing. I drew on the car seat in the back. Yeah. And then I was the same night. It was a Friday. It was the same night as father-daughter dance. I didn't get to go. Yeah. They're like, you're in trouble. You're saying, "No father-daughter dance." Yeah. Oh, that's sad. It kind of felt like, maybe they were just trying to get out of going to the dance. Right. Right, right, right. I'd excuse to not go to the dance. Take me with that memory. No, I will, like, sometimes the intrusive thoughts really do take over. I bless you. Bless you. The intrusive thoughts are bad for me. Anytime I'm going over a bridge, just like, in a car over a bridge, like that bridge had scared me. Because I'm just like, what if we hit this out of the bridge? What would happen? Right. Or I could just turn my car off the bridge right now. Yes. And my intrusive thoughts always go like five steps too far. Like, it's not like, what if we. It's not like, what if I hit the wall of the bridge? And then the thought's over. It's like, what if I hit the wall of the bridge? The car flips over. then I'm stuck. Then I got to wait for the windows. How do I get the windows open because apparently you can't
and open the car door in the water. You got to wait for the car to fill up, and then you could hope like all that. And then I'll shake myself and be like, I've walked way too many steps down this line, 'cause then it's like, what if I don't make it? And then I think about my funeral who would show up. - Right. - Then you're going all the way down. - Right, then it's like, this is getting darker and darker. - Well, what happened at work? Yeah, exactly. - Yeah, it's just like, there's so much. - There's so much. - That's what happens every time I smoke. - Whether it's a love island, all of our bravo shows or another guilty pleasure, there's nothing better than curling up under your Lola blanket while catching up on your latest TV obsession. Like, just naturally. - I'm absolutely with her. Like I am, I am in agreement of that where it's, well, because sometimes it just happens so suddenly or it's something where you're like, this was so unnecessary to the plot. It was just added sadness to make people feel bad. - Yeah, that's true. Sometimes it is just, most of the time, it's pretty unnecessary. - Did you guys see that video of that dog? It was like a gold retriever that suffered from seizures and he has a duck best friend? - No. - Oh my God. - It has a couple across my desk. - Oh my God. - You gotta see this video. It was so cute. It was like, it's literally on the news, but the way that the camera pans. It's like a dog rolling around the grass being cute. And then the camera like pans quick to this bush, this side of the house. And there's just like a white duck. And it's like me. And they're besties. And they play and they hang out together and they do all. I actually cried. I'm really on animal TikTok. So I actually, my last tier I shed was yesterday because there was a really cute video of a dog and a cow. And when they were both babies, they were best friends. Then there was continued videos of them as they got older. Still playing together in the field. It was very sweet. - Oh, I did see this. - Yeah, look. - I did. - Oh, I did see this, yeah, yeah. - And the duck's just like me? - That's funny. - They're so, and they had her one who's a little bit. Look at them. Oh. - That's cute. It's a sweet story. I believe they have an Instagram account together. - That is sweet. - And I'm sure they have a lot of followers now. - Yeah. - Yeah. - They're probably blowing up all viral and stuff. - What a sweet tale. - They would have been on Ellen together if she was going around 100%, 100%. And now bring out the duck and dog combo. - To be scared by Justin Bieber. (laughing) - They made that joke on. They made that joke an unsettling point because one of the kids was like a child prodigy piano player and she was talking to him about it. And he was like, she was like, you were on Ellen? (laughing) It's always, you know, she was the nice person. - Yeah. - Have you ever seen the perks of being a wallflower? - Yeah, but when it first came out. - It's one of the best movies ever. - It's a good movie. I have not seen it. What year did that come out? 2000. - I just, I mean, I just watched it two nights ago. And I looked up the. - Look that up. - No, no, no, no. It came out in the 10s. - 10s? - 2012. - Yeah, it came out in 2012. We watched it the other night because Matt hadn't seen it. - Yeah. - And I saw it one time in 2020. And I watched it at a time where I was like, down in the dumps. - Yeah. - And, you know, there's themes of that in the movie. And at the time, I remember watching it being like, incredibly moved by the movie. And then we watched it again the other night. Matt, full-blown tears. - Full-blown tears. I couldn't even like, I also was, but that's not surprising at all. But he was like, why did you do this to me? Like, first of all, he was like, this is an incredible movie. - Yeah. - But holy shit, I was not expecting this. And I don't have to say if anybody's never seen it. Watch it. - The only unfortunate thing about this is that Ezra Miller. - No good. - Yeah, right. - Ezra Miller is in it and plays a fantastic Patrick. - Yeah. - But since then, it has gone well, well. - No. - Yeah. He was playing a superhero for a while too. - Yeah, but up to no good. - No, no, no. - Up to no good. But it really is such an amazing movie in my eyes. And then we were kind of like on a coming of age kick. - Yeah. - Watched at just 17 for the first time last night. - That is Hayley Steinfeld, who Hayley Richardson and Woody Harrelson. - Yes, that's a great one. - I had no idea. - Do I see that? - No. - Oh my gosh. - I had no idea, I know. Am I the way? - I hated him at the beginning of the movie. I was like, oh my God, this is, I hate him. - Yeah, fair. - But you know, characters. - You need girls. - You need girls. - You do. - For sure, you need girls. - Not to be rude, but I had no idea Hayley Richardson was in anything before the White Lotus. - I think a lot of people have that as such. - I was like, she's main character. - Yeah, yeah. - That "Cose for Us" movie she did was before the White Lotus. - Really? - Yeah. - Interesting. Well, that was a great one too. Not as good as Perks of Being a Wallflower. - Yeah. - But still very good. - Yeah. Speaking of coming of age, you have to get back into Sterling Point. - Sure it is. - It is really good. - I gotta pick it back up. - And it is, it's so sweet. We're on four episodes in. I am loving it. I think it is really, I just have an appreciation for like, an original, well-written television show. Because it's, you know, it's not based off of a book. It's a unique story and it's funny, it's smart. I really, really like it. And here was the real tell. I put it on, and I watched the first episode, Joe was home. And I was like, I'm putting on this show and you cannot complain about it because I want to watch. And I have too much TV to catch up on. And I'm watching this. He was like, okay. And he was going to meet some friends, some friends that were visiting from out of town, in an hour. So I was like, I was like, I'm putting this on, whatever. We watched the first episode. And then he goes to leave. He was like, can you not watch? (laughing) - Don't click on that. - He's like, I kind of like it. I was like, are you being serious or are you just like, you really want to watch this? He was like, yeah, I was like, fuck, okay. Anyway, I watched one episode. I watched episode two. And I was like, I'll watch one more episode because in my mind, I was like, if he jumps back in in episode three, he'll be fine. - Right. He'll make some little bit of the back of the story. - He can still get the gist of it for sure. - But it'll be okay. - Absolutely. - So I watched episode two and then he comes home. He was like, did you watch without me? I did, I watched one episode, I'm sorry. And then we watched episode three. And then I was like, okay, I'm going to bed. I get into bed. He then watches episode four. - He's more proceeded to watch episode two that he missed. - Oh, he went bad. - By himself. - Well, I was, wow. Okay, so he's locked in. - So he's locked in. - He's locked in. - You've really held in. - He was like, this is a great show. - Wow. - Okay. - Okay, I got this weekend. - Yeah, I got no plans this weekend again. - Yeah. - So I'll probably be watching, watching that. - That, I was like, yes, I can get him to watch that. - I get to the theater. - Walter Boyz can't get him to watch that. - I can't even watch the Walker Boyz. I'm going to. not watch that show. Why don't we hit the theater? We talked about maybe hitting the theater, we also talked about maybe going mini golfing. Big news. I'm an a-lister as of last night. Wow. You made that you took the punch. Yeah. And I didn't realize until I was like about to hit the button that like you have to commit to the the first three months when you do it. Oh. But I think I'm you're committed. By the way one i-max movie makes it worth it. Yeah. And then I almost went last night. I was doing my fire man. I know. So it's just like a game to me. I'm like it's almost 10 p.m. Let me check if I can get an Odyssey ticket. And I got one like middle of the row, middle of the theater of i-max 70 millimeter. And I was just sitting for a good three minute staring on my phone like in the checkout being like I got it's like a dog who catches a car. You know it's like I'm like I don't actually really want to go now to the theater. I don't really want. So I released the ticket. I waited five minutes went back and then got it again. And then just released it again. Wow. Wow. I just played a little bit of character. So little might as you know when fishing with an Odyssey ticket. I do actually think I'm planning to go tonight to see the end of Oak Street. That looks interesting. That's another Annapolis movie. Yes. Okay. Yes. That's the one that she was just at the premiere for. Yeah. That looks good. So. God. She made a lot of movies this year. It's crazy. It's so crazy. She'll probably be taking off for a little bit now. Yeah. Yeah. I would. I hope she's having a baby. Yeah. I know. I was just and I guess some of these movies were like filmed wave multiple years ago. You know who else is having a baby? Our guy John Ham. Yeah. He is. And it's actually getting some negative feedback because I think that's pretty fair. She's you know the woman he's having a child. His wife. Well, this is his new. Are they married? They're married. This is new. This is his new woman. It's his new wife. He was married for a long time. She met her on the set of Mad Men in the finale episode of Mad Men. Like her character. Like at the very end. Yeah. Isn't that kind of crazy? poetic. Yeah. Not for his former wife. Now when they were a great couple. Yeah. She was also an actress. Well, great couple that you can't remember. Yeah, but I have her face. I have her face in my head. She's in a ton of stuff. Jennifer Jennifer Westfeld. Her. Oh, tons of stuff. They weren't married for a long time. Interesting. Interesting. When you look him up, it doesn't say that he was married before this. The woman he's married to right now. Oh, really? Oh, I guess they were ever never married. Never, ever married. They were never ever married. They were never married. Uh, Jennifer was in a long-term relationship with actor John Ham. From 1997 to 2015. Holy shit. They were together for that long. And there he is. And there he is. And has a married. The younger woman and had her babies. Guys, I tried to tell you. No, you know, you are joking. But this is like classic. This is Don Traper. Yeah, this is like classic Hollywood. This is like John Malini kind of, you know, where he's like openly been like, I don't want a kid. I'm not. And then just has one when he finds a new wife. Like immediately. Yeah. So the 2050. Yeah. Well, sometimes they got married and big people don't want to have kids because they're not with the right person. And they meet the person that they want to have kids with. So, you know, there is the other side of that as well. And she's 38 years old. His wife now 17 year difference. No, yes, it's up there. But it's it's like, at least she's not 25. It's not the worst we've seen. It's not. I guess it could be the worst. I mean, you really, you really got it. She's basic hilarious rationalization. Yeah. So, but she so he met her when then how old is she? She's she's 38. So like she's probably yeah, yeah. Hey, I'm happy for him. Yeah. Anyways, don't have no one likes you. As Don Draper. Yeah. You're capable about anything else. debatable. And not a fan as a whole. Not like he does. But not to bring anything up. Speaking of being a fan of somebody, I think I was tagged a hundred times in this video of Benson Boone doing Spider-Man. He's got Spider-Man mascot. He's sharp. He's doing a flip. And my god, he does it flawlessly. I think I realized it was the definition of wow, this video's wise this video 20 minutes long. You know, I just playing it on repeat over and over. Just in terms of just doing that stunt. Yeah. Pretty flawless. I mean, this is what he's known for. No, I know, but there's one thing to flip. There's one thing to be able to just like do a backflip. The backflip into the like straight to being like on your knees. How he did that is very hard. And he did it flawlessly. I did send it into the family group chat that I have with my siblings. And it's, it's the three of us. I like him better than the mask on. Yeah. And you get that paper bag in your head. And Joe and Joe and TJ. It's our really, we just like send Benson Boone things and then other things. But this our chat is called bad to the boon. How sick would it have been if Tom Fallon popped up? That's flawless. Right. But like people really ripped people who do backflips can do that. No, no, I would actually argue not everyone that can do a backflip. No, not everybody. But like the how often he does backflips, I expected. Well, that was pretty cool. Yeah, in there. Why did I just play a superhero? He's auditioning. It's that like that. I'm telling. It's just that I know is that they're, so we had one mutual. We have one friend that would like he had a backflip. I'm telling you, way hotter without spider band mask on. I know a lot of the comments were like every one feels way hotter because I'm just pretending it's Tom Holland underneath the best. Who's more attractive Tom Holland or Benson Boone? Tom Holland. I had Tom Holland. I might. Yeah. Yeah. I think, I mean, look, I do love me some Benson. I feel like I'm being made. We make a friend to put the Benson, anytime she talks, she has to put the shirt on. I feel like I'm being mean about Benson Boone. He's not ugly at all. Like I'm not sitting here calling him ugly. No, and he's personally, he just doesn't do it for me. Has he ever messed up? But I have to be honest, neither just Tom Holland. Like I am also not like, I love Tom Holland as a person. I think he seems like a lovely guy. Yeah. But I'm not like, whoa, Tom Holland. You know, like that's not how I feel about him either. Sorry, I'm playing it over and over again on my own phone now because the TikTok I have. Oh, no, no, put the mask back on him. The TikTok I have is a, is a better angle. It's a little bit closer. So you can really, you know, you really get up close to personal. I'm just trying to see if he's ever not landed a flip at a concert. I just love like, Benson Boone fall comfy. I just really love the commentary when it comes to Benson Boone. Like these comments just scroll out, dang it. I got Boone. Like Benson Boone. They really can never make me form a solid opinion on you. Do you think when Benson Boone like has sex with a girl, they call it like getting booned? I got I would like somebody text their friends. I got booned last night. Yeah. Or he says, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm actually only calling getting fucked getting booned down. Yeah, you getting the boon last night. Yeah. Why am I whistling? Why was my left turn into a whistle? You get that boonani? What's that? That's really viral right now. What? He want to lick my boon to got tata tata tata tata. That's not how I want it. Got him going crazy for this pun. No. Do you know that? Nobody knows. No. No. Sorry. I guess our our food pages and as dirty as you are, you dirty, dirty. That it is not dirty. Wow. It's dirty. No. It's a it's a viral. It's a viral sound. All right. Give me a second. What the hell is that? But I was just looking at young Benson Boone on American Idol. He was on American Idol. Yes. He left self eliminated. That's Benson Boone. That was Benson Boone. Uh-huh. This can't be even that long. No, no, no, no, no. This one is 2000. That's a guy named Brad 2021. That is not Benson Boone. Literally Jackie Jackie from work posted. Not proud of it. Man enough to say I love this song. I won't ever skip a video with this audio. Yeah. So I'm not. No, I am some people. I'm just look clearly it's being used. Got him going crazy for it. It's Boone. No, no, no, I'm going to start saying that. It's a little dirty. It is, but it's not really, it's not like people doing sexual things of the song. No, no, no, I'm just saying lyric lyric. Oh, lyrics. She's talking about a lyric. Yeah, I'm talking. I'm not talking the videos. I'm just talking straight. Oh, what the word she's saying. The words she was saying is very dirty. Yeah. We're pulling it on and on. Yes. I'm going crazy for it is. Yes. That was what I was saying. Oh, that's 20. 20. 21. I just said he was on American. He is very young. By the way, Benson Boone is how old? 23. Yeah. We found the other. We talked about it. I don't know. He's 32 years old. He's younger than Alex Earl. 24. Well,
Remember when we were talking about Benson and out so yeah, so I feel like we went through this Just turn 24 is birthday was in June. He was born in 2002 2000 and fucking to this Benson James Boone BJ we just call him BJ Boone BJ B.J. Boone BJ. Boone BJ Boone He couldn't be a BJ and wonder if it was ever thrown that you know that always sucks for my brother because he's JB And it was oh it would always be heard oh JP JD just like no JB. He knows after a peanut himself. Yeah, and sometimes you've gone on these shows in New York He's playing a couple shows and if you were a real fan you'd be there. Well, I don't even know these He's playing the title. I don't know what those are. There's are maybe different things. He actually was already here I was away while he was playing his New York City shows. I I looked I Cannot believe me. I looked Yeah Asking AI is the first question is Benson Boone still in a relationship. Benson Boone appears to be single He's only 24 that's crazy And that's that's why you can still do all those flips like that right that young needs. I genuinely thought he was in his 30s No, he's got you in his 30s. I thought he was in his 30. Oh my god Well, well you even worry about the drones and they're in their 30s trying to do this. They're gonna be trying to do backflips are young to me They are but like they are but to be doing backflips like that. No, it is definitely hard Like Kevin Jonas. Yeah, like Well Kevin Jonas was ever the backflipper, but Joe and Nick what back in the day. Well now they're during the burning up tour and people are expecting flips They would like flip during their shows. Yeah, that's Nick would do like a full like What's it called Nick doesn't like a pass? Like a gymnast pass, you know, yeah down the catwalk like a car a car wheel into like two flips Okay, pull that up. Sorry. I'm gonna need to see Nick Jones flipping out on my he could be a gymnast. You never watched the the Jones brothers 3d movie I think I did but like it's in that This is this is that. I mean this is them go to youtube.com. Yeah, and type in Nick Jonas flipping down the runway Yeah, okay, that's like that's Genuinely like just throwing your body around. Yeah, that is what they did But there was one when he would when he would flip down the catwalk Does flip on catwalk. Okay, here we go It's a terrible video. Oh you miss it. Oh you basically miss it. We got a different angle This is terrible Yeah, it is well people are watching watch along. It's a watch along with us This is the Jones brothers good night and goodbye and he would do it. So here anyway, the one I'm trying to say is that people are expecting Them to do this exact Corio again on stage at MSG next week. We don't need the Jones brothers throwing their backs out next week Well, that's what cuz I'm worried about, but they said they're they're starting to practice if the Jonas brothers Okay, Nick is way better than Joe Well, Joe wasn't really the one doing flips Joe's just assisting and then he did yeah, there we go back. Handsbury Once you like you off from Ben some of that you're like that's terrible. I need to say like Joe is your classic hyper kid Who's just running around putting his arms wherever throwing his feet in the air and he was like totally throwing his body around I'm gonna do actual flips. Yeah, here's a thing We do not need the Jones brothers throwing their back out because how else are they gonna extend the burning up tour? Like we all know that they're gonna do you know anything like yeah, they are obviously gonna be like We are just kidding. We got more tornadoes if they and they cannot pull their back if they do these flips If they do these slips at MSG, they're gonna be expected if they do extend, you know, right you can't like they might be setting a bad precedent Or maybe they just joke and say they can't do them if they if they do it more But I know people are expecting flips. So they they they there's lots of love up Well, I just want to tell people to look lower your expectations and don't make them do flip like I'll be boots on the ground Okay, but that's like don't you talk about that's greedy here's the thing. I don't they are greedy if they're gonna sell me If they're gonna not then I fucking talk about If they're gonna sell me On the burning up tour all over again. I want to see the burning up tour all over again and that's what they did every night You know like you're selling it as I think it's fair to be like well I won't give me the burning up to our all over again Unless they're like we physically cannot do this Because I I bet you they could they could do like it's not like they're like out of shape At least the one where Joe just like grabs Nick's leg and flips him around he could totally do that But for now because like I don't want you I don't want you risking I don't know if he could be doing the backhand spring down The catwalk like he used to but I'm sorry that the the Joe flip where he's just like holding his leg and then he If he could do Nick Jonas you a backhand spring next week. I'm gonna be upset. I don't I wouldn't even enjoy that I would just be like your Kevin will do his guitar spin a father stop doing backhand springs down the runway The burning up to where he's when Kevin did his guitar spin will do you know, you know, I'm actually gonna flip it You know how like assholes will be like that woman is a mother and she needs to stop doing that He's a father like I'm actually just gonna flip it onto men and be like Nick Jonas is a father Yeah, he should not be up there doing backhand springs. Okay, you know be awesome if They were like performing and then like maybe some smoke pops up and you lose sight of them for a second And then you see like these crazy flips going and then he turns around it's Benson Or it's just like they just bring out stunt doubles. They just bring out three Fake Kevin Joe and Nick that would be funny like dress the same as them and then they just do all these It's I bet they're sitting in a room right now thinking of this and Joe definitely thought of that was like how funny would be No, but then Nick is sitting probably they're fucking listening to our podcast every week and then Nick is sitting in the room being like No guys it really needs to be us. We really need to get out there if we're gonna do it. We're gonna do it right. Right. This isn't a joke guys They're they're in Dallas right now practicing yeah, they're in Dallas to get in something about her Sandwich's son to them and having Ariana Maddox on their podcast. Yeah. Yeah, so talking about love Island How many episodes in a row are they gonna talk about love Island like seriously try to be a small, but it is funny because they also none of them really watch And it's funny because it's like they know it's big and they're like our wives watch right, but they're just copying us It's like seriously getting getting a new format, bro Brothers Hey Jonas how many episodes are you to see your Googling? Have you ever watched they just signed a deal with Disney plus and Hulu the podcast is going to Camp rock three comes out tomorrow Did you see the horrific clip that they've been putting out of the auditions? Yeah, I'm not sure why they chose for that to be like the clip that they put out to promote The movie I like to apologize. I'm giving major hate or energy. No, but but it was it was Like it's the here's the thing it was supposed to be bad Because it was like on an audition montage where you're it's like if they were to show the um You know the the high school musical audition montage of all the people that are auditioning they stink That's kind of what they were trying to do, but it's it's When you do it to a song that everybody knows and loves so much like play my music And you have no context on what the fuck is happening and then like the sound started to go viral without seeing the clip Like I heard the sound first and I was like oh, no What is this? But then when I saw the clip was like oh, it's multiple people it's an audition montage That's not the version we'll be hearing I will be watching I'm excited. It's already been lead all the cameos have already been lead to which sucks I didn't watch it though. I saw a clip come up on my Twitter and it was like blah blah blah cameo and I said no I'm not playing the audio. I was just I kind of like giving you a visual It reminds you of the podcast on YouTube that do do this like they always talking looking at a screen and it's fun And it's like we got nothing else to talk about you sure would help us you know When we when we try and find shit on our phone on our own here's the thing like today There's just no topics going on it is the dog days of summer people are out of office like send an email There's no headlines to be had besides Brooks nators titties with her dad like yeah, it's just one. It's just that time of the year and we're kind of like Scrapping at anything to talk about but we also have a lot to say at the same time, you know like we popped on today And we were like what are you talking about but we've been talking for what 30 minutes now about Benson Boone and he's Jonas Brothers. I can talk about Bring up the Jonas Brothers so much to say and Benson and then and forget it We got three hours walk down. We don't even need to add anything else. They're getting inducted into dizzy legends as well this week Yeah, I honestly like I really and I it's just uh, dizzy legends like just kind of started In my list on it. Oh yeah, I was gonna say like who is who's still left to be in it a lot of people I think Here's the thing. I'm just like holding a garage against them about a thousand thousand of things like I'm it's Glenn Powell the busiest man Was able to send a video you know we should do you know we should do Tell me is Not to tease too much, but we may or may not be seeing Glenn sometimes soon. Yes When that happens, we should say text Text the Jonas Brothers right now put us all on a group chat You have all of our phone numbers. Yes, or we film a video
video with him. - Yes. - And we be like, you know what? It was, Glenn, it was so nice of you to send us a video for our 1000 episodes. You know what it should be? It should be like Glenn accidentally filming and it's kind of blurry and it's just like see the corner of us and we're talking shit about them. We're like, thank you so much for saying. I can't believe those fucking Jonas Brothers couldn't find the time to send us one for our talk. - Did you host your own talk? - Yeah, and then Glenn goes, oh my God, I thought your girl's supposed to show this talk. - Actually, how funny would it be unsolicited? Not with us in it at all. - No, no, no. No video, no nothing. If Glenn just sent a serious text to Nick and Joe and wrote, you guys couldn't send a fucking video for the Chicks in the Office. We have to ask him to do that. - Wait, okay. So we're gonna come up with a whole podcast. - We have to come up with a whole thing. - I think we're gonna take the classic. Okay, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna take the classic that they do now on hey, Jonas, that every podcast do. Throw questions in a bowl and it's like send a text but every single piece of paper says send a text to the church. (laughing) - They're all the same, they all say send a text to the church. - And then everyone says, you have to ask this person why they did not send a video for our 1000 episode and every single one says the Jonas Brothers. And we only make him do it one time. (laughing) - Oh, the game's over. - That's it, game's over. - Oh shit, that's it, that's it. - Oh my God. - Your mother's the same, we have to wrap up. - That's all the time we have. - He's like, let me pull one more and it's just the same thing. - Like, oh my God, Sarah, you misprinted, they all say the Jonas Brothers. - Come on, man. - We get Steve's on and involved. (laughing) He's like, what the fuck is going on? (laughing) - Some good banter. - Anyways. - I try, yeah. - Anyways, Jim Chad Power is coming soon. - Yes, yeah, so excited, second season. - Yeah, the trailer did drop, it looks good. I'm excited to watch it. - Yeah, I can't wait. - But yeah, no, and I will be seeing everybody. I've got some questions. I will be at the Burning App Tarl over again on Thursday night, so see you guys there. - Yep. - Yep. - Wait, this next week? - August 20th, yeah. - Not tonight. - No, no, no, it's not tonight. It is next week. I was really trying to get to Olivia Dean too, but impossible. - We will be expecting her to show up to the club after the Jonas Brothers concert. - Oh yeah. - I didn't tell her that I was throwing a celebratory thing at the club and she said, "I can't." The Jonas Brothers friend town. - Jonas Brothers are in town. - And I said, "The Jonas Brothers are always in town." - It was a funny, it was a funny frame of text because she was like, "I know you're probably going "to the cauldron." I was like, "I am, I am." - But they take us for an even on sale yet. I was like, "They're always back in town." But we will be expecting you to show up. - And you know what, bringing them, bringing them along. - Right, yeah, and you know what? Tell them to come. Guys, I'm gonna have 80 different iterations of this sign that I'm bringing. I got to make a sign. - Come to the club after. - Come to the club. (laughing) - Come to the club. - And this is why they won't come on the show. This is exactly why they won't come on the podcast. So, yeah, yeah, it is what it is. - Oh yeah, you know. - It's fine. - From colorful teas to cozy sweats and trusted underwear, Fruit of the loom has earned its reputation through consistency, comfort, and everyday ease. How long are they? They range 25 minutes, 35 minutes, depending on which one you do, but we started it and I didn't think he was gonna do every day with me. It was kinda just like, he was home when I started doing it. - Yeah. - And he was like, I'll do it. And now I can't, he won't let me do it without him. And it's kinda like messing with my schedule a little bit where I'm like, you know, I was gonna maybe do it this morning before work, but he wants to do it after and then so I was gonna do it both, but then I'm like, - This is, here's the thing. - Now you're locked, now you're locked in. - And you can't, we can't, you can't bail on day 12 now. - And here's the thing, that's frustrating and it's like, it's what's so nice when our husbands do get involved in something that we wanna do and that we like. Same thing was certainly the point. It's like, oh my God, I'm so happy that they like it and wanna do it with us. But at the same time, now I'm on two people's schedule. I wanna use to do just one person. - And I can just like do this whenever I want. - You should just be my own. Now I gotta be worried about your schedule. - Yeah. - But when can you do Pilates by Izzy Matt? - Yeah, we've gotten so into it now. We can't, we have to finish the challenge. - Do you prefer, prefer work or after work? - I, it really depends on the day. I'm not gonna lie. We started this six days ago, so. - Six days ago, so it was the weekend. - Yeah, so it didn't matter. - Right. - And then I came in Monday, we did it Monday afternoon and then Tuesday did it when Mac got home from work because I recorded from home. And then yesterday, we until he got home from work 'cause I went to go get my hair done. And now today, we're probably gonna do it. We have to do what we got home from work. So now it's becoming an after work thing. So I don't know, it's gonna, well, I'll find out on day 25, which one I prefer, but we have to stick to it now. 'Cause now you're, once we got to the sixth day, we're like, all right, now we have to. - And it's something that you can, like if you're traveling, can you bring this stuff with you? - Yeah, it's on YouTube and- - No, I know, but what do you just need a man? - Pilates man, like some handway, like some handway to stuff that we got. So we have everything. So, but we can't give up now. It's where we're left is this will start, this will go into hand to the time. - It will, and that'll be what, around the end of it? - Yeah, it will be around the end. But let me tell you, you curse out, is it easy? It's such a sweet lady. But you can't help a curse her out in the middle of it. You're like, you fucking bitch, and that's graphic. - Yeah. - But you won't, you know, when you- - It's not, you just have to let it out. - Sometimes you have to let it out when you're working out in the comfort of your own home, watching a YouTube video. And you can just scream out profanities when you're in pain. And that's actually the beauty of it. - That is nice. - You know, that's the beauty of it. 'Cause when you go to a school class, you can't be doing fucking bitch. - It's rude. - That'll get you kicked down and banned from the class. - Exactly. - And you'll never be going to school. - I don't mean it. - No. - I love Izzy. That's why I'm doing her classes. I don't mean that she's bitch. It's just in that moment, you motherfucker, Izzy. It burns like hell. Izzy really knows how to burn 'em. - Yeah. - So yeah, now we can't give up. We're in deep. - Becca Tilly posted a story that made me laugh. That was like this, where it was like, it's really humbling going to a group class after doing at-home workouts and realizing like, how many breaks you take when you're at home. - First when you're in the class and you're like, you feel like you're in good shape. I'm working at home. - Yeah, no. - Then you go into a class where they're not giving you maybe those few minute breaks that you're taking. What are you doing? - And also, it's bullshit because the instructors are always like, 'cause they're due, 'cause she's doing it in the video. And she's like, oh, my shoulders are really burning right now. I'm pushing through. My shoulders are burning. Your shoulders are not burning. Izzy, you look completely fine. Stop lying. Stop lying. They're not burning. - Yeah. - But minor burning right now. You look completely fine doing this. It's a breeze to you. It's a flip of the hair, all right? So I'm excited to see though, you know, what happens on day 25? - Yeah. - I mean, I don't, I don't expect
grand, you know, reveal, but I'm not going to lie. I was nice to just keep like to do something every day. It's nice to just like change it up because you know, it's like fun to just throw throw it in the mix and be like, all right, I, you know, wait left hand, but I throw this back in, do a little bit of this, do a little bit of that, whatever, but I will say I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. And I said, are those abs by is he coming in? No, I said, but it could be just, um, placebo. I don't know if that sounds pretty good. It could be placebo, but that's what the people on TikTok were talking about, like all these, like, you have to do Pilates by Isis, you have to do Pilates by Isis. I said, I'll give, I'll give Isis a shot. How many, how many millions of views she's got on these bubbles? Well, you know, it's really funny. It's like so classic. The first one had like nine billion views. Yeah. And then the second one had like three million views. Right. And then the third day had like one million views. You know what I mean? Like as the days go on, yeah, it's less views. And maybe some people do the same one like over and over. I didn't see people talking about how they sometimes just do the first three days over and over again because it just gets harder and harder. Like it does not get easier, which I might find myself doing at some point. She's got a lot of workouts on here. She does. She's got season one. She's got season two. She's got Pilates and strength. That's the one we're doing. Or there's just Pilates. So I don't know. Just for fun. I saw it take talk last night that maybe a lot of girl walking out of a Pilates class. And she's like, just came out of Pilates. I never know what she means by engage your core. And it's just like end of the video. Which is so true. I think that all the time. I think engage your core is like prepare yourself. If you were to get punched in the stomach, like I'm like squeeze squeeze. And like if you're if you think someone's about to punch you in the stomach right now, how would you tie up your core? That's why I imagine. And my mind is like, you know, it's like, oh, squeeze your core. Why don't you see squeeze? Yeah, engage it. Right. Engage your core is like, okay, right. Also something that I'm terrible at breathing. Yeah, I am so bad at remembering to breathe. Remembering to breathe. And then also inhaling and exhaling at the right times. I always flip them. Like when they say, inhale, when you do this, I'm always exhaling and then inhaling on the opposite one. I'm like, I feels makes more sense to be the other way, but I don't know whatever man. So we'll see. We'll see if we have breaking news. Breaking news. What is it? We were just sent to Clayton Eckerd, Cameo. What should we play it live? Well, you know, see, this is what I was worried about when we posted a video that we were going to get something like this. But hey, this is it wasn't going to be organic. And to be honest, I wanted to pay him. I wanted to get you. I wanted to. Yeah. All right, let's see it though. I'm on the edge of my seat. Oh shit. Oh, oh, wow. Okay, everyone, get it up. Grangerloins, everyone. Uh-oh. What's up? Checks. I can't find it real. What's up, right here? Whoa, I'm here. Show me a little early birthday, but also to say thanks for giving me a little hot voice solver, because a lot is attached right now. Let me show you. If you guys want to get a video out, the people are calling me said, hey, Clayton Chamios are in stock. I'm the man. Thank you for that. Okay, so I will shoot and know that you guys were awesome. Bye. Thank you so much. This is the instrumental. What's up? I want to shout out first off, friend. Friend of banana. What's up? You got early birthday, September, it's once the end. It's a happy birthday to you. That's it. Oh, that's good. You have birthdays on the annual occasion as well. So happy early birthday to you. Remember that is, okay? Okay, I thank you so much. I always look at you awesome stuff. Come out of your mouth and talk about it. Hey, was there anything you can get? I don't want to know about it. All right, and hey, keep doing your thing, all right? I love to tell people. Okay, I said, I said, I swear to you. I said, hey, bird might be the word, but the better pick is six. I always say that. I swear I say that. All right, friend of ria, you're a great day when you see this. Yeah, it's so much upper lip sweat. So much upper lips, upper lip sweat. Oh, my god. Oh, my god. All right, honestly, do we have anything else to say? How can we possibly go on? I want to dissect this video. Yeah. Why is he so sweaty? Why is he doing this? We don't know what number came. I was watching cops. We don't know what number cameo this was out of his day. He could be on like number 150 and and be sweating his ass off making these all day, you know? I think every single one I've seen. He's drenched in sweat. I think maybe that maybe he just, or maybe he's putting in the work, takes a shot like drenched in himself. That's like part of it, you know? He's like, he's just like horse water over a little bit. Looks like he has a nice house. I think this is where you, I wonder if this is one of his Airbnb's, you know, he was doing that for a while as well, where you could rent bachelorette trips, could rent his Airbnb right there. Go back. Go back to that. Whatever is happening right here. We, but let me finish my thought. You get rents his Airbnb in Scottsdale and he, for an extra fee, he would come and do a full row ceremony. What? For the Bachelorette trip. Yeah. So it's like if you want, so like you could take, you could take you and all your friends to the clay, I can go home. I can go home. Bachelorette house and pay extra for him to show up like full as the bachelor and do a full row ceremony with you and all your friends. Well, thank you, Clayton for giving us. Give us that Friday. I think Clayton, Clayton and Cameo clearly were very closely. Yeah, they clearly do. They had like a board meeting because they turned that around. That was fast and because let's also remember we're recording this on Thursday, right? And that clip came out on Wednesday. That was a fast turnaround. He's very dressed and ready. He does. I really do. Those she depends are. I want to know how much he's bringing in monthly. He is talked about how much he makes and it's a shit ton. You know what? You know that video where they like they shake the kid up like in the middle of the night. Like, can you scare it? And they're like, that's like cameo. They like knock his door down. Clayton, another cameo just came in. Yeah, double door with it. Keep drinking. You must keep. Honestly, those drinking. It would have been cool if you could have requested what song he wanted. You know, maybe like a friend did for a birthday. It would have been like a jealous brother song. Yeah, maybe. You never know. There's still time. I want to say that maybe he did like a Jason Tartig podcast or something and said, you know what we should do, though? We should just put in a normal request and say my friend. We won't say you're chick's the opposite. We can get an organic. No. Yeah. Yeah. One that's different. Okay. He did. I don't know if it was an interview or something, but there's an us weekly post about he was asked about his dancing on cameo by us weekly. I think. And he had said that last year he earned over $97,000. Wow. From cameo. Wow. I saw that video. He said at that point, he was charging 75. And he was charging 75. The price is up now. So that's insane. He said, like, we have 13 hundred. Holy shit. 13 hundred videos. Wow. I mean, good for him. Like, like he said, that's, that's, that's real legit money. Yeah. Yeah. He said he brought in upwards of $97,000, which he noted paid better than his standard full-time job. 1300. That's about three and a half cameos a day. He's pumping them out. Yeah. That's why he was breaking his sweat. Right. Obviously, he's getting sweaty. He says like, he's in the cameo sweat. Exactly. He can't stop. All right. Well, thank you, Clayton. Wow. And honestly, what a way to go into the weekend. That's a great way to go to weekend. There's really not much else to talk about. So we're just going on that note. Yeah. We're definitely in the world. We're definitely in that realm where we sit down and we're discussing headlines and things and we're like, we can't even try and act like we have an opinion about this. Everyone's on a yacht in Italy right now. So we'll love to enjoy that. Yeah. Everybody's on the yacht. They're having a good time. It's like, yeah, exactly. Exactly. And then once the TV shows and everything start back up, they'll be good things going on. Exactly. Sure. Being an expert at celebrity trivia is pretty impressive, but you know what's even more impressive? Being smart about saving money for your dream home or a sweet new ride.
