The breakfast radio show opens with hosts discussing severe weather, including a potential cyclone and heavy rainfall in regions like Bumbry and the CBD, expressing concern for listener safety and possible impacts on events like football games. They transition to promoting several giveaways, such as double passes to an upcoming Fremantle vs. Richmond match and a six-month Rev.O Fitness membership, tied to interactive segments like a "Who Am I" quiz and a "Who's on a Roll" prediction contest. Football analysis forms a core part of the conversation, with reviews of recent matches, including Adelaide vs. Geelong, highlighting player performances, injuries, and tactical discussions, such as Adelaide's need for another A-grade midfielder. The hosts also engage in casual, humorous banter, sharing personal stories about umpiring injuries, fashion trends like headbands, and quirky topics like the unique colors of bruises and bed-shopping habits, all while encouraging listener interaction via phone and text.
[Music] Now on SEMWA, it's Bally and Goss for Breakfast. [Music] Hello everyone, 23.3 degrees, heading to the top of 26. On a day that many people believe it could be the final day that we're all here. We could be blown away. How can I pick you again? Well that's what they're saying. Yeah, when you're going to hit the city. I don't know, what do you have? I've kept looking at. [Music] In all seriousness, I hope everyone's safe. Yes, I've seen a lot of social media, a lot of rain up in that sort of canavern, Calbury Way, but I'm looking outside down and it's calm as it's been. Because that wind that came yesterday wasn't to do with the cyclone. Right. Apparently that was coming from the east, coming over the scar. It's all very confusing. Well, I hope everyone is obviously self-interest is very much my forte. And I'm thinking when the show finishes around 9, I am worried about the walk to the car, which as you know, there's not a lot of cover from studio to car park. We are an umbrella. We are an umbrella family. Well, I'm thinking if I just nestled sort of under your armpit as you're putting up the umbrella, it would be some real Arnold Schwarzenegger Danny DeVito vibes. Twins on the way over to the car park. Both my homes award winning design built to be loved for everyone. It was great to have Alio Galante as our special guest yesterday. What a show we have. And we are in giveaway city so much so for those who are looking forward to hearing from Trent Cotchen about the Trent Cotchen career spin and then Richmond and that. Have we parked Cotchen? We know he just dumped him. I haven't parked him. No, no, he just said no room. Yeah, well, I'm sure he's going to be. I'm sure Cotchen will be back next time once he hears this award. Exactly right. So we have got tickets to give away to the footy tomorrow. Okay, so basically we've got half a dozen doubles to give away. Are they undercover? Well, it's funny because one of our text is texted in. What happens if the game's called off? We don't go to the footy. What do you want us to do? I use. Is there any danger of that? Only if it's thunder lightning. If it's serious storm. Rain, rain and winds don't go down. Like what we saw up in GWS. Yeah, they'd want to delayed it. I saw the vision last night of Manly versus the roosters. The thunder and lightning there, they lost, they got Brook Valley Manly, Manly got completely wiped out. So you got wiped out, I didn't even know. Did the game go ahead? I don't even know. To reach them. So the majority of the rain in the metropolitan areas forecast for today is that. Apparently today and early tomorrow. And race is what it's absolutely hosing down in Bumbry right now. Yeah, okay. Wherever you are. Wherever you are, let us know. 0487-7367-736. What's happening? Our lineup today is Brennan Cox and a joyous back in the free manor lineup. Better with him in that. It's a bet. Yeah, well, he's a very good player. And last year, particularly Jade Rawlings and JL, Jade Rawlings is the defensive coach. He trusted Brennan with some of the big matchups, allowing Alex to sort of roll off and intercept a little bit more. So he's been the number one key. Jason Richardson's going to join us. He's going to cover off a couple of two chrome dames today. Richo and Coxie. I wonder if Coxie's played in the wet before with the lean dome. Yeah, good point. Yes, he's gone the new look. Indiana wine, who does have hair. She's going to join us because Smooth Chino set for the quaker. Trialed in Albany, yes, though. It was very impressive, big going on there. She's a trainer on the up. Yeah, yeah. Doing a great job down there. Yeah, no. Friday, footy free for all back on the win of last night of Jolong, narrowly over Adelaide. What we take out of that will have a few statements. We've got who's on a roll and the game is. Which game? Well, you know what? You get to pick the result. We'll do the home game then. Free mental enrichment, although wet weather game might. It's all right. Yeah, that's good. Make your wet weather thinking caps on. Could be a tackling. Yeah, yeah. Could be a record. Well, I reckon an easy one, Sarong on the bounce back. You know, he has tholster backpacking everywhere last week. And then the wet weather, I could see Sarong having a really big numbers day tomorrow. Does the wet weather, it purely helps rich men. Yeah, that's a void, a massive blowout. Because it would be a blowout at all. Yeah, it would. If it was a fine day, I'd be worried for Richmond, but the weather neutralises some of Freemannel's advantage. And one thing that Use and Richmond before Use under Hardwick, they've always been that territory. Hardwick's on the record of saying, I don't really, you know, kicking, kicking's good, kicking skills, but the way Richmond players, the territory and Ford Hamble and get it into the front half. So they're still remnants of that in their style. So the wet weather will probably help them tomorrow, if I'm being honest. Harlem just started to rain in the CBD. Well, we're looking out out. It's pretty dark outside the moment. It doesn't, it's got darker stays darker later. How does that very quickly? That's what happens in autumn and then winter. Yeah, but it's happened quickly. It's like a bad week ago. I can see out there. My owning belly and gauze happy Friday. Just a little bit windy down in the Albany way. Yeah, we appreciate that. So we've got rain in Bumbry, nothing in Albany and rain in the CBD to this point. Let us know 0487-7367-36. As I said, Jason Richardson, tickets to the footy to give away. Brennan Cox is going to join us. Friday's footy, free, free, we're belly, die six, and gives us his tip. Who's on a roll, of course? Indiana Wine, it just gives us a smooth keynote update. And Gloucester Park, if it goes ahead and waging. So, no, Mattie Young is on the buttons. Chris Palfoon is also pressing the buttons in charge. Hey, I've got a quiz, the Rev. O Fitness Quiz. It's a who am I? And I love a good who am I? Yes, I do. So do I. It'll be, I'll be doing everything within my power. I'm not ruined, the who am I by charming in with answers. Bring my responses at you. Got about 7 or 8 hints. And I am, I don't have much more than that. When are we doing this? That's going to be out just, probably about, just after 7, about 7. And that's for the Rev. O membership. Six month Rev. O Fitness membership. 9.69 per week. 24/7 access. Callum says, "I can tell you, as a folically challenged man, rain and sweat is a real problem." Well, maybe Cochie's got to go the headband. Yeah, headband. Oh, I think we've sent it over. We saw two headbands last week. We did. Josh Sinkin. And the big white headbands. Yeah, yeah. Some players pull it off. Some don't. Barley Smith pulls it off. He's a great headband. Where I think the font. A record, Barley Smith, he could pull off most things. Yeah. Fashion-wise, a record. What do you do last night? It was good last night, wasn't he? Yeah, it just, it was a real accumulation, wasn't it? Forty odd. Rachelle was unbelievable in the losing side. And there was a bit to take out for the crows. Max Holmes was pretty good. Tom Stewart was pretty good. If you get a chance to get on socials, have a look at Josh Rachelle's eye. The shot's completely closed over. Bruises fascinate me. Because just there are colours in there that I think only belong in a bruise. And no, you will not see them replicated anywhere else. It's a phenomenon. Give me a callus game. Oh, no, I can't. I'm not a big colour-wheel type of guy. But don't you reckon bruises? There are shades in colours here, bruises. But you won't see anywhere replicated in the environment and the, you know, the man-made world. It's just bruises. Deep purples and crimsons and. Are you a bruiser? Am I a bruiser? Ah, yes. Yes. Yeah. A bruise easily. All right. The worst part I ever had was when I was doing a footy feature and I was, I umpire a cults game between these person and Westbound. I trained for eight weeks to do it. And I pulled a hammy. It was absolutely freezing cold and teeming down at June 11. I wore glasses and I couldn't see when it rained. And I didn't know. I went and bought something. Into the headbed. I bought it. I needed a hat. I needed to be. Who's the umpire? We used to wear a hat. McBurney? That's good. Gee, you're good. I see McBurney. And I did a hammy. Literally five minutes into the game. What a picture. What a picture you're painting for us. Exactly. And then Greg Scroop, who was the boss of the umpire, and came out that day. And he came out at a corner time. He said, "Hammie?" I said, "Yeah, you turn around." And it was black. It was black and then straightaway. And he said, "You want to turn it up?" I said, "I cannot." Imagine me trying to do a TV feature, talking about umpiring a cults game of 40 East Coast West Coast. And interesting enough, you know who played in that game? Who? I'm going to tell you. Dean Brownlee played in that game. Who's Dean Brownlee? Dean Brownlee? Sorry, Dean. No, if Dean was Captain or West Perth, but he was number four for West Perth, I think. What's Dean Brownlee on for? I test cricket for New Zealand. Oh, okay. What's he doing playing cults for? Well, he was cults for, he had dual passports. Okay. He's, I think, mum or dad was Kiwi. And I got a feeling that the Brownlee's, mum or dad still leaves up in Judlupway. And he's back in New Zealand or was playing test cricket. Just getting back to the bruising. What about if you grew up in a big family and one of your siblings had a bruise? You'd be automatically. Does this hurt? Does this hurt? And the rest are right under the. Or are you growing up? Anyone who's been in the boarding house type setup? Does this hurt? Does this hurt? And it squeeze the bruise and lots of wounds. All righty. 0487736736. Oh, yes. Todd wants to know his Henry back for the quiz today. From. Now. Oh, boy. He was a good Henry. So we got mail that Henry's injury was a broken leg. Henry's injury now. This is sort of. I was in undata with people who knew Henry. So we've given him a week from how? Really? He's causing it himself. Yeah. And if you're thinking of sending a kid to Trinity. Oh, I'm not meant to say that. Oh, sorry. Oops. In Melbourne.
Oh dear. Nothing in bus so yet. Morning boys, where I am in Bumbry, it's yet to rain. Yep. And also. So the 40 tickets include a ferry to and fly out. No, I swear by you. Bailey Smith could pass the Bret Michaels of Poison and Joshua Sally had a shine of Rocky Bell Bowl would have been proud of that. Yeah, there are all right, Bret Michaels. Every rose has its thorn back in the day with a long, blonde locks. Cam doesn't have a midnight torch. Bored with a sweat band. Yeah, yeah, you're right. It's a very small genre, isn't it? Ball with the sweat band. 0487-736-736. Let's touch just quickly on what you saw last night. Adelaide versus Jolong. What did you make of it? Well, saw two pretty good teams. Jolong just found a way, but I thought Adelaide, they'd take a lot out of the game. Gosh, no Jordan Dawson. Mark Keen's been outkirt and we've mentioned it there out. And I think they just ground away and were in the game and could easily have won it. Once they got in front, then they just didn't get the ball. Yeah, and then the big talking point out of the game was the last touch, which clearly was an Adelaide ball. And that put the margin out to Martin Keen's third. The margins out to eight points from memory thinking back. It's a bad mistake. It's a bad mistake. It's short from my past. Everyone's short. Everyone's short. The band-reun point was standing there. What are they doing in the arc? Arc field-unpoint. The band-reun point. So they get some mist and the arc needs to intervene. Straight away, it's it-hold. Atkins was smart. Got on the play. So they can't call her back once he's gone to the point. Even with the naked eye watching on TV, you knew it at a camera, Atkins. There was nowhere near you as off the Adelaide player. The naked eye as opposed to. As opposed to the eye. The eye. Curtis Taylor was the player, I think, for Adelaide. He should have protested far greater. Oh, exact Taylor. Sorry, exact Taylor. He should have run at the field-unpoint. I said, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You need to go up stairs." And even copper, $1500, $500, $1,000, a take one for the team. Because it was a turning point. It was a turning point. Absolutely. Absolutely was a turning point. And it's a bad miss, because it's impacted the result. Getting back to Adelaide, the question that I have for them, because I think they're very honest. Very honest. And they're playing for Nixie and the minor premieres last year and then the straight sets out, is just can they bring in another A-grader, particularly in that midfield area to help out Dawson? I think that's a point of difference. That allows them more flexibility with Rankin and Rachelle, who is unbelievable. You can ski there more forward if the game demands it, or you can bring them up into the midfield. The one that they have high hopes for is young Sid Draper, but he's got the, I think it's the osteoarthors or the groans and whatever else. So he's going to be a while off. Can they bring in another A-grade midfielder? And I think that could be the finishing touch to that squad. So with all the talk about Zach Bailey being offered, X, Y, Zed, I think Adelaide are in the mix. Well, he went to boarding school there. But is he what they need? Is he not a full-time midfielder? No, he's another one of those midfords. You take what you can get, particularly players of his quality. You don't get nine shots in a grand final, or they're having a really high level. And it's easy to say harder to go and secure, but the tall, quick midfielder, that's probably the thing that Adelaide are looking for, but they are quite unicorn-like at those types of players. So they'll keep scouring what's available, but some help for Dawson would be the thing that could really boost Adelaide. Craig is in Dawson. It's as dry as a candy flip flop in Dawson, only overcast. Joyce Simkin is championing his Daniel LaRusso with Claco, as he's Mr Miyagi, Paul from Pelley, due to some clever listeners. And the Crow should be more worried about you. Do you know you're not a movie guy? I know who did. He's Daniel LaRusso. He's, um, he's Grasshopper. Yeah, Grasshopper. He's paint the floor with the-- The karate kids. The karate kids. That's right. Yeah, yeah, um. That's the one-- What? Oh, wax on, wax on, paint the Daniel LaRusso. The karate kid, Mr Miyagi. [SCREAMS] Paint the fence. What's it called? Look at all you experts here. Telling me what I should be-- Well, it's an iconic movie. Right, movie. One of the last oversaw. Now, the Crow should be more worried about Richelline Rankin. You're getting stuck on the bench for ten minutes. She's ranking out an awful lot. Mm. I know he's-- I know he's-- And what about the chippet? Oh, heavens above, man. Well, you've been in the golf square. Well, I made push back into the player. Bad, it bad. Bad. Yeah. Selfish. And I felt like everyone was very kind. I-- Did he really-- did he really know where he was? Did he have an idea? You've got to go for it if you don't know where you were. We're talking about the guy who's probably got some of the best. I'll use the term space-yotemporal awareness in the NFL. So-- So you don't know what I'm-- I'm just space. He knows where he is. Of course he does. On the fence. On the fence in the golf. Some of the things he does of freakish, I think he knew that was a bad-- That's an easy thing to do. It was just block the ball through. And push into-- push into the bike coming the other way. Couldn't believe it was a bad-- It was bad. Yeah. Bad. 0-4-877-367-366. And we're here for Bowman Homes. And don't forget MSWA. The Mega Lottery home is on sale. Now, the MSWA Lottery, fantastic. But I noticed a couple of radio stations on the FM dial who are in ratings decline on the back of our surge on Breakfast Radio, the number one Breakfast Podcast and Vacuum Perth Radio podcast. Boy, am I impressed. Thank you on the Australian Podcast rankings. They've got-- they're doing breakfast from the bed, and they're lying on the lounge, and they're in the kitchen. I don't want you. You're a dirty stinker, and right now, FM, jocks in my house. If I'm going to buy a ticket, when-- Yeah, I'm with you. What's your position on when you are bed shopping, though, as to what-- Are you doing shoes off? I'll see people jumping on those display beds and-- They just shoes off at least if you're going to-- 100%-- Is he going to bounce up and down on the bed and-- Shoes off? Yeah. To be honest with you, Peter, I have never tried a bed in my life. I've never gone in. Because when I'm naked, and I'm on Saturday morning, I'm bed shopping, and I'm-- It doesn't really matter. It doesn't matter. I'll get to sleep on a bed enough. So I just go, is it big enough? Is it long enough? Do you have a length bed issue? Well, I don't really need one. But do you like the king size or the queen size? The queen size is fine for me. I'm-- But yeah, you're going to wife. Yeah, well, we're not exactly giants that the par of us were not in your territory. So the queen size is absolutely fine. People often say to me, oh, belly, you must love flying up the front of the plane and who doesn't. But in reality, I say every seat on an airplane is a business class seat for me. I just sit there with my little legs swinging off the bottom of the chair, and I'm hit in the ground. You tend to first need a front. You can lay right back. You can recline a sideback. Go for it. Not yourself out. Zero for us. Seven, three, six, seven, three, six. If you want to register for anything we're doing today, our ticket giveaway, $13.25. OK? $13.25, park it there, $13.25. And who's on a roll is also going to be about free man and enrichment. Can you tell us how who's on a roll works and what they can win? Well, all you have to do is you have to nominate either a free mantle or a Richmond player. And you've got to give an accurate prediction about what they're going to accomplish in the match. And we're going to work out who was closest to the pin. You can't just pick something really obvious. So there'll be some waiting applied to how outrageous or how difficult the task you're guesstimating for a particular player. So you might say, for example, we use this one. Who's on a roll? Tomorrow Caleb Sarong is going to have 30, 10 clearances and 10 tackles as an example for who's on a roll. Pretty simple, really. $13.25, so that is the number. So these are your, you can ring for the ticket giveaway register. $13.25, all you got to do is register with Chris and Youngy out there. You can also register for who's on a roll. And the places just go complex right after. John, are you going to lifetime membership to answer it back in the day? I've got one at Laurie Potter's. John's asked if I still use the booster seat at the. That's not cool. That's not. Well, it's not kind on the people behind me. That boosts me up too far. And, Luke, love karate kid. Tim, you have a great sense of humour. Thank you, Dirk. We appreciate your love. 22 past six. Plenty more to come. This is Belly and Doc. Are you texting under the. Belly and Doc. Go as David, David Kultart wins the British Grand Prix by just 1.4 seconds. 2000 British Grand Prix. Are you a Formula 1 man? You like it? I'm starting to watch that show. What is a drive to survive? Because everyone's told me that's the way to get hooked on Formula 1. So not at this point. Quentin Tarantino was born on his day 63 years ago. What's your favourite Quentin Tarantino movie? Pulp Fiction. Yeah. Yeah. Just revitalised or revolutionised that style. You love violence? Not really, but I love the storytelling in that one. Kill Bill and a whole lot of others. On this day, the first international rugby game was played between Scotland and England in 1871. Scotland won 1.0. Good game for their highlights. Unlettered. 1.0. It was different school on I think. I think he crossed the track. I was like, right. I don't know. 1.0. That's what I've done. I was there, but I looked the way at the time. 1971. Unlettered. Petra went on sale for the first time in 1885. Don't raise the petrol thing at the moment. It's tough for the other days. Have you a top or upperer? Yes. I've got into the habit of doing that off-late as I'm getting older. I'm becoming more of a Tardar. It's Tuesday. And I'll get up early, right? So there's no cues or anything else. I'll just go and top up here. I did that on Tuesday. Yeah. And what I did, a winning because my petrol thing said 517 K's left. And it's normally 7. That's not me 7.20. So I thought, oh, there's 200 K's. I'm here getting a coffee. I'm ours. We'll just go screw it in. Get 30 bucks worth. $6. The idea of $6. $6. Topped up for $6. Yes. I was so embarrassed. I haven't got to those sort of levels. If you had a told me during my 20s that I was going to be a regular Tardar's Tuesday fuel top or upperer, I would have slapped myself in the face. But here I am now. On this day, James Sutherland, CEO of Cricket Australia, did this. The key finding is the ball tampering incident. It was limited to three players. Captain Steve Smith, vice captain, Dave Warner and Cameron Van Croft. That was 28th. I was 18th. James Sutherland sending them home. And on this day, the ballers had the same awareness that Isaac Rankin had in the golf square. And the ballers totally unaware. And they put out a press release. And they wrote a press release. And on this day, Hollywood high school's finest. There's been some great people come out of Hollywood high school. Andrew Faris was one of a born in Kotoslow 67 years ago. And he was in the band Inks. I was in XS. Baron and I, don't miss out on the little moans because the little things are everything. Happy birthday, everybody. Hopefully we can get to a game three, three, three, mental and Richmond. Of course tomorrow here at Optus Stadium. Hopefully it doesn't get blown away. The game is on at the moment, but three mental are encouraging fans to get down early. Guam. Guam. Guam. Again. And the Philippines. We're going to come here. We'll the reverse. One second. So is it in that instance. You've just got an individual grab the ball. We're just checking this. No one's playing on here. And it can be done really quickly. I'm a sense. Sound a lock whoever's in the arc may have been getting a cup of tea. Just a wrong moment. So just go and get a couple of scotch figures at a cup of tea. And you love me. Hold your mister moment. And he was just checking his mouth. He was just checking his mouth. Looks like nothing's happening in the moment. Sure, I can get away with this. Does that can get two kicks? Doesn't get two kicks. One the kick out of bounds. And then the yeah, the possessions. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, how good is that? It's a thing. It's like an ad myth. So yeah, it wasn't great. Adelaide fans. It wasn't great to be a little upset with that. But yeah, listening on our film nation yesterday with Simo Gerrond Dwayne. Boy, it was good. Really good. If you don't, then sink it up. Because that's what I was doing. Yeah. And it is genuinely so good. Especially on Thursday night. Man, it's good. And on up to the home games. That's when you want to really sink it up. That's when it's the real thing. You think it up? Take a pick. Take a pick. Lindsay, Marik, Champion, Brock and Sean Burger in four of the West Coast Eagles in that game. Oh, dear. Let's take a break and come back. Belly, I've got to give you a task. I want to give you lots of time. Oh, no. Well, you had that many segments. Right. Oh, so off the top of your head, you've got this ad break. Three and a half minutes of this ad break. All right. You need to give me the five most impactful players defining. Well, yeah, I go. Short and sharp. Whether they're not necessarily weight of possession, as an example, just players that in a short space of time change games. Not with one kick. A body of work. Those barometer type players. If they're up and going and just having, you know, a touch of the ball here, a goal there, they're going to shape the fortune of their team. Regularly. Zero, four, eight, seven, seven, three, six, seven, three, six. Okay, you've got to work on that. I'm going to tell people and I've just noticed this is how this is how focused I have been on today's show. Yeah. It is pelking down outside. It is belching. Look at the weather. I just see no one go passing an arc. We had noticed it to this point. We have been so engrossed in, you know, Kimber the White Lion and Big Ticket items like that. We've missed, we've buried the lead, which is the weather's only right. We're waiting for the weather to arrive. We missed the moment. Seriously, this is Belly and Goss, 13, 12, 55. So just repeating entry points, 13, 12, 55. The Revvo Fitness Six-Month membership. It is a who am I and it is someone who plays still in WA, right, and has AFL connections, of course, 13, 12, 55. Enter for the quiz and that's coming up. Who's on a roll? The game is free man enrichment. Okay, so and a $37,000 jet ski, everything up for grabs at the end of the year if you get it right this week and tickets to the 40, free man enrichment. You want to nominate any of those? 13, 12, 55 and do it now because we are so close to launching 13, 12, 55. Chris Clifuna's is waiting by the telephone phones. On SCNWA, it's Belly and Goss for breakfast. Just spoken to Jason Richardson, he's actually going to come up a little bit later in the show. He was just recording something or on his way to record something. So chat to him in the comments. Has he bumped us out of solidarity with Kotch? Yeah, I think so. We bumped Kotch. They're pretty tight, those two. They certainly are. Hey, don't forget, we've got plenty more to come. Just a reminder thanks to MSWA, the mega home lock trees on now, $3.8 million grand prize package. It's down the Shenton quarter. I think it's sad That could line us where the house is. you could win an apartment as well. Do you want to read that as part of it? Yeah. Hold on, you can go into a whole range of stuff. So get down there, but can you win both? You can win everything, but I tell you why you can also, while you've got, if you get the money, if you get any money, you can buy yourself a bow more than home. That's the one I want. Are you award winning design, built to be loved forever? So I gave you a test. You've given me a task. I got a task and was. So it wasn't thrilled with? Impact players. It's the, it's not just one tick, it's what they can do. Yeah, game with limited time around 40 or possession. Change the course of a game. That's how, just through, you don't have to have 30 or necessarily, but you're just that type of player that can change the pattern. Have you got him in an order? I did do an order. So can you start with five up to one place? I've got an honorable mention. OK, I'll give me the honorable mention. It was dishonorable last night. Is that Rankin? Yeah. He's so honorable. And I framed up more with Rankin around what he does as a, as a forward. Because he can come up with the best of him and have 30. No problems. I've seen, you saw that game he did here against Wetscoast, where he was just prolific as a midfielder. But I'm talking more about that small forward rope. So honorable mention for Isaac. Yep. In number five, and this is more through a body of work as an impact player over time. Yep. I think if you think back to Jordan DeGoey and what he's been able to do in big moments in big games, I think impact player. If he kicks a couple, he can do a couple in a cordial, change the course of a match for Collard. I reckon he's done that many, many times. So Jordan DeGoey had five, four, and with a bullet rising fast, the wizard, Nick Watson. I don't think he needs a whole lot of footy to change the course of a game. And he lifts his teammates when he's bursting through a stoppage or getting out the back, he just lifts the horse. Has he gone past, Ginnettvin? Oh, yeah. Yep. Look, there's a couple of what I'll call the soldiers who also do similar roles in the better than soldiers. More and McDonald are very, very good. But Watson's the wizard for a reason. He just lifts with his speed and the way it's contested. Yeah, more McDonald's sort of give their team that scissor lift when they need it. Yeah, yeah. Three and another hawk. And this is a controversial one as an impact player, scissorly. And I like him for the, he's better than that. But he's impact to be able to go forward. On the, he's the flexible one. The utility, if it's not working for Sam, they need someone to mark the ball of whatever reason, Gunston's having an off day, which doesn't happen too often. I remember scissorly going forward against free now and then causing them some problems recently. I think it was down in the longs after the motobank last year. He's just, he can impact in a few different ways. So I've popped scissorly in there. Two, Cam Reiner. Yep, big in half a cent. Yeah, doesn't, doesn't need to have 20. In fact, I've sent him in finals have very little in a half and then change a game just through a few touches, a big mark, a goal at the right time. He's got swagger. He gets in your face. I know where you're going with number one. Number one, impact player. You're thinking on the batten boys already. Number one, ready? You gave me all the four minutes to come up with this list of misty. Just revenue. Isaac Heaney. What? What do you mean what? Who'd you think are you going? Ha! Now, Isaac Heaney. Heaney, heaney, heaney. We just changed that. There we go. We've done it. Yeah, well, Harley, Harley could have been in there as well. Heaney, I agree. 100% number one. I'll probably have Harley in there if he was playing the mid-ford role because a lot of those, a lot of those players have just mentioned. And I'll pick that. Yeah, that's the impact player that you're looking for is that mid-ford role. Okay. Heaney, number one. Heaney, and I've even done some to watch. I'm actually going on here. And they're like, Laura? I think he can be done like that. Yes. Young Sam, Laura, Richmond. Yes. This is a different one. So, no, I'll do the mid-ford. Horn, Francis. Yes, J.I. Jeff. Humphrey. Yes, the non-sweak, right? Not there. Just Bailey. Yes. George Wardlaw could be a mid-fueler with impact. I just don't think we're going to say the best of George. Yeah, that's the highest range. No, no, no. Heaney needs, he probably needs between 15 and 18 as a mid-fueler, and you're going to get some real value out of him. So, hopefully, get some run out of it. Hey, that's a good list. So he's here well I'm favoring port adelaide to win the game out based on home home The 930 start worries me a little bit. I should have yeah as a football from an who played and has been in Administration. Yeah, is it a concern inside the football Team and club to that Preparation mental preparation I think for inexperienced teams look and I know that you train that time But there's a big difference between getting yourself up at the right arousal level. Yeah for a training session as opposed to actually taking on An opposition at Icel so let's just talk about such a midday start in adelaide. Yeah So breakfast time going for a walk time having a coffee time well There's two different ways you can do it and this is the thing But this is what you're working through as a young player. I want most any energy on him. I don't think so and I don't think so That kind of stuff comes at the pointy end I reckon big games You know finals contention sort of games you're competing if you if you're a contender is coming up against another contender But I evenly match that's when you start playing the psychology games are that being said will the free oath faithful who will turn up and we'll get 35,000 hopefully and that to be good number considering what the weather is being faced with yep Will the free oath faithful Given all mighty raw for Patrick Voss in a show of support when they go through the team announced strongly agree strongly agree and yeah, that's that's an obvious one. They'll want to get behind their player and that's that's fair enough Um, there'll be a few there would prefer that Vossy um just picked his moment a bit better But I think that generally speaking yeah the free oath faithful get right behind big Vossy Got any questions? Okay. I feel like the kangaroo Part two yeah Do you believe that a coaching change could happen within days in Melbourne strongly disagree? Okay, so the the heat will come I think it's going to come on Brad Scott But I don't think there's going to be any coaching change In the I'd say there's still at least another month before that if things deteriorated massively from an already low point I still think there's a bit of time there 04877367366 is the number and Sean from Freo says agree. I feel free. I've definitely struggled over the years with the early start games I know yeah, um, I've got one for you But I don't really know how to frame it there was some news during the week that Bailey Williams Is a restricted free agent Which means that he is in the top 25% earners at West Coast right now. So that's how the restricted free agency Uh How shocked This this is this is an enormous shock Goss that you think that Bailey Williams is in the top 25 you're so strongly agree Yeah, I didn't frame that the best strong near nine. I was just my way into having this conversation Now it's a grouse where you shocked totally shocked because that contract was done in 2024 So sometimes you can manipulate the contract. Well, you're not rocks. Yeah, you can manipulate it so that you create a restricted free agent by You know backending a contract and it does and was their noise from interstate close to having yeah, so Yeah, the top 25 And you're out of the team at the moment. So that'll be an interesting watch. That's a great. Yeah, Greer or disagree stiff to be dropped agree Yeah, he was but Long Newer's got a lot of confidence and faith in J grow mirror so if someone's got a museum inside of origin He was in the best 23 was just trying to be well And he was pretty good in that game as well And so that that happens with good teams doesn't it players are unlucky to be dropped and that's uh Drizzy this time around agree or disagree strongly agree strongly disagree is it crazy? We're talking about James Who possibly coaching again? Agree I think it I think it's crazy and he has Poured a lot of cold water on the idea, but there's something nagging away at me that makes me think that in what do you reckon it is in certain circumstances? The texting group the 45 textures the former players who have who are banking on it loyalty. So is it impossible? Where are you now? - In Marble Bar, at the moment. - Wow, and how are you listening to us on the app? - Yeah, I listen to you on the app every morning, so yeah, that's good. My little, my little build. Good things I can do up here. - Yeah, good. - Lot and joy to listen to you. - That was good. - Thank you. - And you, Dave, from Duns, bro? - I want Dave to win. - Yep. - I'm sensing that, too. (laughing) (laughing) - I was down in the dark with, matey Greg Clark. - Not Greg Clark, but because you've given me a name, I will say this to you. It's in the teens, God's has been kind. - I'm gonna say four. - No, no, no, no, no, no. - No, it's in the teens. - The answer is in the teens. - I don't know what's going on. - Henry, go do, but if it's not a good advertisement for the school, do not mention the school, Henry. - Have another crack mate. It's in the teens. - It's in the teens, Henry. - Jesse Hogan. - No, no, it's a number. Are you doing, is he doing this on purpose? It's a number in the teens. It's not a person. So just give me a number in the teens, please. Or we're moving along. - A number in the teens. - Yes, just, just play sign number. - Sign number in the teens. - Four. - Okay, all right. - All right. - Wow, is it gonna work to be done there? - That's a real. - Say, Larry, Henry, and thank you. - Was that not clear? - It was a fine being clear. - Okay. - So his last game for one of these clubs was as an unused sub. - Unused.

Who would they play? Yeah, so Italy beat Northern Ireland to an ill and European semi-finals as well and then I know that the Republic of Ireland are playing Chetja and Wales were playing an opponent that was better than them on the day And in the AFL of course we'll go through the teams and all the team news a little bit later on I was looking forward to that but Lindsey Marik champion Brock Schoenberg win the squad for the West Coast Eagles for free Mattle incomes Jey Grimiro and Brennan Cox who joins us after the break and Mini announced Schoenberg as getting his opportunity to day boo for West Coast yesterday Okay boys, so there's a couple of changes this week obviously the big general is going to miss a little bit of footie Buddha is going to miss a little bit of footies while with his hammy and fridgy boy. So one in one out Coxie Yeah, yeah, me most both do the calf and now and our port is joined so Yeah, it'll be contagious and I'm in all the keybacks are getting calves Hopefully, hopefully port is the last one. Have you been watching You know obviously down in Jalong which was frustrating and you would have been watching that from afar and then being at the game Last week where they did a fantastic job, but it's just in regards to being a spectator. How do you deal with that? I am pretty good During the status quarters it was pretty easy to watch Be start off really well and that John game was as the as the long started site closing. You know got a bit nervous, but Um, yeah, no, I go pretty well watching um, especially when we start like we did Pretty obvious question Coxie, but when you're watching are you watching particularly the defensive matchup? So you're watching Porter oscar mcdonald and also piercing Uh, you know when channell was getting on top or you don't watch it that intently when you're not you're participating in the game Uh sort of um, but I Normally just watch the whole game so I thought I watched it like a fan um and try and cheer the boys on Wouldn't really watch it that intently, but uh, obviously do take a bit more notice of the backline And make take a sense of the conversation with you and twigrawlings um for a while there AP was sort of uh, you know, it would take the number one forward and still does sometimes but last year We saw your game evolve where generally most weeks you were playing playing on the number one key forward Take us through how that evolved and what the conversations look like and I guess in some ways the challenge that might have been put down to By twig to be that guy Um, yeah, I think it first started just with um You know sort of preference and uh and match up to wise um versus more probably The plane for play in front of his defender um is a opponent. Sorry um I've sort of read the play and then I like to play sort of back shoulder and Uh, baby will physically and force them up um, so I think it just started as You know personal preference and um and sort of the match up to wise and then Sort of started on you know good jobs on on the on the key forward and sort of sort of stuck with it towards the end of the year and um, you know I really enjoyed you know going up against the best the best for the comp um sort of found it as a challenge and um Just trying to play that role for the team and um, yeah, I really enjoyed it to be honest and no tom lynch this week Who's out with the hamstring, but Richmond do have some talented young key fords even though it's going to be Not going to be key forward conditions, but you know arm strong and and johnty fall and um my kilty lefowl has shown that he's a more than capable player So you're you're expecting you know one or a combination of those players Yeah, yeah, I got sent a vision for uh for all three of them. So I think it'll be a bit more miss um mix and match not really Super set of opponents, but um Yeah, maybe moosen and I think luke as well. We'll be able to Hand over and sort of take um, you know most dangerous and and work together there Interesting would luke got the late call up to come into that lineup last week and really fitted in hand in glove again I mean he's you he's your Right hand man. It's good to see him back there. There was some concern about you know He's either he's wellness because he had covered and whether he was fit or not or whatever that may be But he just fit it straight back in last week at no surprise because he's a star player, but it's good to have you both back in the lineup Yeah, it's good. Yeah, I had co he had covered uh Uh, around two uh around one round one um Wait, round two or one. It's okay, mate. It's pretty good. We're all confused by the season one Because he didn't play in the waffle that weekend. He didn't get picked, but he didn't play other because he had covered Yeah, yeah opening around screw me up a bit Um, he tried to play me for that uh again sick um, well yeah, it's good to have him back back in there um, obviously a really good player and I read the game play well um, so having him in the team and obviously The leadership as well down there Was good and the atmosphere to get back in and play with him Hey, which one lose a lot of experience broad goes out injured linch goes out injured and curveus goes out injured And as we talked about they brought in these uh, very inexperienced group To be honest you should be winning this game comfortably, but the weather might change things Is that the messaging from from jester and the coaching staff just just be wary of not just having a bad day because You're the best of free. I should should handle this inexperienced Richmond team on the road Uh We we look to going to game and you know anyone on their given day can beat anyone um, no matter who it is, you know Richmond or young young side um, obviously just going to the draft. So I've got a lot of talent and it's like the form and and we don't Yeah, anyone can knock off anyone. So um, it will be windy, but and and wet. So um just playing the conditions and um For just them to To know what what the day allows um, but yeah, we're we're um expecting their best and and anyone can beat anyone on any given day Yeah, coxie a lot of our listeners are concerned with the uh, folically challenged and you've gone for the zero You've got you've gone the whole lot. It's all gone Have you have you trained or played in wet with you know, you're worried about the wet weather and the Yeah, the dome and causing some vision problem or that sort of stuff So are we going with some sort of band on head, you know, the sort of the Camden Macintosh role? Are we going with that?
I think I'm just going to the water bounce off the dome, I think. I think I'm just going to run around and, yeah, I haven't played in the wet with no air. So it might get a bit cold up top, but, um, that it's won't have the long wispy hair to worry about getting wet now. What was the, what was the moment that you said it's got to go? It's just got to go. Or was it the bride who said it's got to go? Was there, you know, did you just go? I'm just losing, I'm losing, I'm losing battle. I think it looks good. I've got good skin on my head. What's the story? Uh, I was sort of finding a losing battle. I've just, I've got a high, a high haired line. So, and the top of me air was pretty, pretty thin. So I just, he, he partner was doing me haircuts and she did it bad one my day. I went, you know what? I'm just getting rid of it. So, um, yeah. So that was sort of the deciding factor. I've never heard the high haired line before, but I love it. Uh, coxie and, uh, look, uh, God's wouldn't know this, but you're actually a mad sweater as well. So it's not like you haven't had any experience with a lot of moisture up top, uh, so the iron in the headband could be a go. Hey, what about your good mate, uh, Swaggy, Sean, Sean Darcy, um, you know, he's under a bit of a pressure with, with Mason putting together some good performances. Um, how is he handling that and could you see him having a, uh, a day out against a, uh, relatively inexperienced rock winning gray at Richmond? Uh, yeah, he's handling it. He's handling it really well. Um, yeah, I got to remember that he didn't really. You know, everyone was his first game back from injury. So, um, you know, it's sort of still a minute and getting, um, getting his feet again. But, um, you know, when he's up and going, he is at what like the best rockman in the comp. So, um, yeah, he'll keep building, um, and yeah, finding his feet and, you know, expecting him to pick things on the weekend. And just for free, oh fans, mostly just the progress on a couple of the other young defenders who, um, you know, they're, they're trying to get their position in the team. But how's Q Davies going, Oli Murphy, Josh Draper? How are they tracking? Yeah, I was tracking really well. Um, old, yeah, um, improving down in the waffle and, um, you know, learning new things off twig and, um, yeah, over, yeah. I think they're coming on really nicely and, um, hopefully they can break into the side soon. And, um, yeah, they just don't go really well down there. So when you look at the conditions tomorrow, do you prepare differently visualising? You know, it's going to be a dirty game as a key defender. The ball's probably going to come in a lot, but there's going to be a lot of ground balls. That sort of thing, how do you approach the conditions from your own preparation point of view? Uh, I think it's just the way you, uh, sort of the way you play. Um, I'm just going to be a lot more straight. I think you know, you might be able to switch the ball. So you're sort of positioning and things like that and just getting ahead around that and preparing. So, you know, a different style of game and, um, just the way you set up the ground and things like that. So not a whole lot preparation wise around, you know, what I do. But, um, just going into the game with a clear understanding of, you know, the differences between, uh, you know, dry footy and wet footy. Cox, you've played a lot of football with Luke Ryan. Has anyone caught and don't know the fact is that he kicks the ball to you standing on the 45 with a, uh, on the 50 meter art, we're standing right. Has anyone over the 130, 160 games that you played in the hundred and whatever he's played worked out that that's his outkick. And that's his kick to the goes and you just stand there and you seem to get it three or four times a game. What is wrong with your position? They haven't worked this out yet. I think they started to pick up on it last year. We've got a good couple of years out of it, but I think they started to pick up on it now and, and, and man it up. The till Ford normally through this now. So, um, we had a good run with it. Uh, sort of a set play called the junction, but, um, yeah, I think I think they picked up on it now. Well, what was it called the junction? Cause I went out to the jungle. Nice work by you. I don't think Harry Armstrong, Jasper, Elgar and Johnny Ford, no disrespect to him, but they, they, they're young fellas. They might not caught none. You might be able to release again tomorrow. Hey, mate. Thanks for coming on. We love chatting with you. Go well. Good to have you back in the lineup tomorrow. And, uh, let's hope for our fans get there in their numbers tomorrow at one 15 for the bounce against Richmond. Thanks to bankwester. We spending more time at the footy. Coxie, appreciate it. Thank you. Thanks for going. Good one. Just for calling. Don't forget you can go to the game. If you want to go to the game, give Chris Cliftonus a call now, 13 12 55. We've got double pass to give away. Spend more time doing things. As we go to the break with the news just around the corner, plenty more to come. Here's Justin Longweer on the weather. Go talk about it. We spoke about weather with the players. Um, yeah, we thought we were, we were good in the wet last year. So we revisited a couple of those things that we, we did in the wet last year, which held us in. Yeah, well, which made us really competitive in those games. So, um, yeah, sometimes you, you, you, you wonder how early to go with that messaging, because it can be the unpredictable forecast, but yeah, it looks like we're going to get a fair dose of rein. So, um, yeah, we've gone a bit earlier this year. After eight o'clock, Friday's putty free for all. Who's on a roll? 13 12 55. You put yourself in the running for, when the $37,000 jet ski, thanks to rocking and boating. Indiana wine is going to join us too. Smooth Chino being set for the quokka in about three weeks, just over. I think all three weeks. And the horse trialled impressively at Albany yesterday. And Matt Young and Gemma Hameon will give us some winners. Gloucester Park. We'll just pretend they're going ahead tonight. So, we can do Tim. That's exactly right. Wagen, of course, as well. And the Bumbry Harners Racing Cup tomorrow night down there with a superstar mag storm, magnificent storm. Raining where you are? Drive safely on them roads. 20 degrees currently. 26. It's going to rain over the weekend. This is Bellion Goss. We preview the games next. Next at MSWWA. The Mega Lottery is on sale now. That's $3.8 million grand prize package and the whole lot more get onto the MSWA website and have a look and see what you can win. And we're alive from the dry, secure, safe and classy Bumbry Homes studios at World Winning Design built to be loved forever. Friday, 43 for all with Bellion, the Masters of Canstile Blues, Customers Satisfaction Award winners. Let's just gloss over last night. It was along by 8.914, 68 to 960. Adelaide hit the front, but after that they just could not find the footies. No, they couldn't and Jolong were able to lock it in their front 50. They were massive amount of inside 50s and pressure that Jolong put on. Adelaide struggled to get it out of defensive half, but they hung in there and in the end, the big talking points out of the game with the miss by the arc when it should have been. Adelaide's last see should have been Zack Taylor's not Tom Akkins. Paul goes forward. Jack Martin kicks his third margin goes from 2 to 8. That's pivotal and shouldn't happen. Shouldn't happen. And like just, just unpile grab the ball. We're going to review that. It's in the middle of the last quarter. Games in the balance. We're prepared to torch a minute working out whether it's a point or out of bounds, you know, to get the scores right. So with the game in the balance, we can take a little bit of time to just make the right decision in the end. Adelaide should have been 30 metres off in their own. So that was poor. We talked a little bit earlier about Isaac Rankins' brain fade when he could have just shepherded it a ball through and instead inexplicably tried to market. That's been kind. I can explain to you. He was just being selfish. So that was poor. And we talked a little bit earlier around Adelaide, you know, not having Jordan Dorsen there, but that's the missing piece. Can they get young draper going or do they need to go and find another midfielder to assist Jordan Dorsen? That's what they need. Friday night footy and he's stein in for his debu, how and more, the experience come back but still a concern and they have dropped a Buller, Alan and Parker and GWS. They lose Buckley to Big Out, Harry Rousen goes out as well and James Leagan Oliver and Anifady. Yeah, a couple of West Australians there with Buller and Alan. That's not ideal for either of them at Alan's in a contract here and got talent, but he'd be really disappointed that he's let his grip on his spot on the team go and Jack Buller, anytime you're brought into as a team, as a recruit and you're out by round free, that's not positive either. But McCrae has been talking a lot about that lack of mid-forward connection and not getting enough out of Buller memory and also McStay. So they've gone for something different. Steens are young, Ruckman and more and how obviously it celebrated and their experience will be important and you nailed it. Like it's been hard enough for GWS, GWS to win one-on-ones defensively without Sam Taylor. Jack Buckley being out is going to make it even more difficult. Conor Iten's a really, really good player but GWS will also be looking to look after the Buller a bit more in their defensive half, looking for a better start. Colin would offer by, I'll be going their way on this one. We're all going for Colin Woods, Scotty and myself as well. So we're all going for it. St Kilda take on, Brisbane, big game this one. The brunch. St. Springback experience in Butler and Dougal Howard. Box will drop, Caminadie's injured. And back for Brisbane, Darcy Gardner, Logan Morrison, Zach Bale, Zach Assert, Steltsy, West Australian goes outside to James Tundstall and Annabelle is out for four months. He needs shoulder surgery. He has had shoulder surgery. And there's been all the, I'm going to say it's more serious than banter. They've been genuinely, genuinely chipping each other, St Kilda and Brisbane and look, do we hear from Chris Fagan doubling down on contracts just quickly? Let's do it. Contracts seem to be getting longer and longer and longer, you know. And then suddenly, along comes St Kilda and they want to pay those payers the amount of money that they did. And it's like, I'm thinking to myself for the good of the game, is that what we were doing?
do we want this sort of marketplace where offers to players become ridiculous. You know, I'm wondering whether for the sake of the game, whether, you know, maybe we should have, let's say we've got three players at our clubs at our max contracts, but to be in that bracket, you have need to have ticked off certain boxes. Yeah, so there are each other. I think this has all the hallmarks of a really good game of footy. I think we all think this is what there is. There is so they'll both be decently trying to not just the four points, but the bragging and what's being able to be proven proven correct, I suppose, in some respects. Some big outstill for the Lions and McCleggage and Harris Andrews, but I'm going to go their way, even though it's that marvel, a bit of time to lick their wounds, get a few quality players back in particular. Morris Gardner is important for them, Bailey, in the big contract year. And a bit in Chris Fagin's messaging, Oregon, he's just talking directly to Zach Bailey and paraphrasing here, "Mate, you're going to need to sacrifice some money, lots of me, if your teammates have done, so we can have more premiership success." Yeah, we're going to find that out. I'm going for some kilter hool to win. Yeah, I'm going for the sake of just being at home, and I'm still, as you say, big names out, still remain for Brisbane. Let's turn our attention to the big one. You'll hear all the action from 1230 and 115 Bouts, free of versus Richmond. Thanks to Gage Roads, Gage Roads, Huey, all natural lower carb lager. And we have got the line up. What is button? J. Gromira, Brennan Cox, in, Noether, No Driscoll, is, admitted, Oscar McDonald goes out. Train up for Alga and Gray in for Richmond. The outs are huge, and then purpose, Lynch Broad and Trasys has been dropped. It's a lot of experience and pivotal players, particularly, Nank. Well, all of them, Nank Hervers, Lynch and Broad. Broad's super important, so they bring in kids. Fools are playing with talent, as a young key forward, grays the inexperienced Rucklin, trainers that sort of tall defender. Aljas are mid-size forward, so inexperienced kids. The weather will even things up a little bit if Richmond bring the heat and bring the right attitude. If this were fine, I think that it would have been a massive margin, three-mountalls way. I think it might be a six or seven-goal margin in the. If the conditions are dirty and a bit gritty on the. Yeah, and you can do any conditions that's also very important. And I could see also, you know, Sean Darcy having put the bib on against more inexperienced opposition and winning a lot of heat outs and hopefully for Sean's perspective, solidifying his bottom. So he may see less of Luke Jackson rucking? Yeah, maybe. Maybe that's an opportunity to. Because it's a long season, and he can just play as a mid or a little bit more forward. Sean gets some more minutes in doing some confidence up. You never take anything for granted against anybody, but they're probably some of the conversations. Because, you know, a long season. For the same reads, we talk about Max Gorn and just how much workload he's expected to do. You want to look after your Ruckman a little bit as well. So is this an opportunity for Luke to play a different role? Jack Darlings lost his spot for North Melbourne. He's gone. Griffin Loeg injured in the first couple of minutes of the game here last week. Cassandie also gone. I bring Jack Khor, Coleman Jones and Ward Law returns. Essendon, Daywix, Hilarie, Farrow, the West Aussie from West Perth. Congratulations. And Jade and Risham. Yeah, absolutely. A con Giannis Redmond goes out injured, you and L Aqta. Okay, so look at this game from an Essendon perspective. And Brad Scott's talked about, you know, selfishness. He's talked about what was the word, demoralized inability to fend or not wanting to defend. And so the selection statement is out. Go all the kids, new and con Giannis L Aqta. Not the older players. So to me, that looks like I'm going to back in the experience that I do have. But the patience would be where all I notice. It's on your on notice. So he's made no selection statement there. And this is okay. I'm not criticizing. He's just backing in his experience players. He will put it on him hard, both what we heard last week, but during the week as well. And it's pretty simple. You can strip it all back. Now, the their inability to defend is an issue. I heard some players talking about, oh, we're not sure if we're supposed to be assertive in coming forward or we're back shoulder. So there's a disconnect there. Something's happened. So just pick one. A simplified and make the game, goss, about contest and pressure. That's it. And that'll keep you in the game, I reckon. I'm going north way, but we're all expecting some kind of response from Essendon. And just from a pride point of view. And so if not, big fallout for the for the loser. It is going to be more so if it's an Essendon loss and a bad one. Both going for North Melbourne. We'll look at the Sunday games, including Port Adelaide early against West Coast, Carlton and Melbourne. And don't forget when you come into the foot of the Obtostate, you grab a scooey of Huey gauge roads. All natural lower carb, Lager. This is bellion goss and we're doing this for auto masters. They are Canstale Blues, customer satisfaction award winners. Not too late to register now for who's on a roll, 13, 12, 55. Who's going to be on a roll, free amount of Richmond tomorrow? $37,000 jet ski up for grabs. Okay, 13, 12, 55. 13, 12, 55 is now time to call for Rockingham Boating. WA is once on Boating Shop. Up for grabs, Belly, $37,000 worth of jet ski. Thanks to Yamaha jetfish and Rockingham Boating. John Papas trailer, the JPT90. You love a good JPT90 trailer. Yeah, one of the best trailers, the best probably, the JPT90. And also getting the 12 month red Joe for both jet ski and trailer. Who's on a roll? Just give your tip for who's on a roll for free, mental and Richmond. And you're winning 27 chance of winning $37,000 worth of jet ski. But you got to call 13, 12, 55. All righty, let's get our attention to Port Adelaide West Coast. And yeah, well remember this practice match a couple of weeks ago before the season was underway. And I think that's a great battle. Adelaide absolutely smacked West Coast. And they did that by owning Corridor. I think it was a soft kill against Destiny who were going atrociously, really. And we've spoken about that. But I reckon they're vulnerable if West Coast dropped for this. Listen to me, lie Zato, the boy from W.A. Lockheed Jones, Oli Wines, will Brody back. I think it's 1,065 days he's played. Remarkable career. Incredible. And the male is that Oli Wines ain't going to make the final cut. injured. Huge outs. And massive. West Coast get back here. Well, I've named Shamanberg to debu. Lindsay, he may come back in Cole, Malachi champion Sandy Brock. Harry Wood's injured at Milan Mirackels. You're all over it last week as to assessing who the exact ins were going to be. So who are you predicting are going to be the ins for? Let's go down to that. Into change. Okay, so those on the interchange right now are Lindsay, Reed, Cole, champion Robinson, Brock and Newton and Shamanberg. So Shamanberg won. I think they'll go Newton too. Yeah. Robinson, more retaining spot. Archery, Reed will keep you spot. So Reed, yeah. And I reckon Josh Lindsay might be the other one. All right. So a getable game, absolutely for West Coast. They've got a negotiate the early start, which we spoke about earlier. It's not a favorite of mine for the West Australian teams, particularly inexperienced ones. Just bring your contest and energy. And we saw that in the second half. That's where they got North Melbourne. Their contested contest work. The exuberance of youth. Can you replicate it in hostile territory? And I think this is a really close contest. I'm going to go to home side, Goss, but I think this is worth this. Yes. Yep. You know, and much will rely on their remaining stars. And those three are right up there for Port Adelaide, the outskier mentioned. But you know, butters, Georgia, Ardies and Horn, Francis. They'll be spending a lot of time West Coast trying to reduce that star power. Because if you can do that, then there's a game for the taking. Would you like to see some Harley Reed? I know we all talk about gay. Oh, yeah. That's box office. Yeah. That's on tuning into the, I mean, I watch the West Australian teams. But I'm also tuning in just to see those two at each other. And Oregon, they respect each other. And there's a lot of similarities with how they play and their story arc, if you like. And that's probably the number one reason to tune into this game. All right. At least it's one game and we talk of Carlton and Melbourne. Of course. Yes. Yes. We saw Melbourne here last week. I'm just not sold on Melbourne, to be honest. Okay. So let's go to Carlton. They bring back in acres, Francis Evans, Boyd and Taylor Byrne for his debu. Kupelord goes out with illness and Melbourne. McDonald in for his 250th. But he lorry in patty cross in Max Heath, the back up rugby and turn goes out injured. Yeah, I'm a bit of an interest around Heath and what his role is to support Max McCorn. Is Max up for his milestone as well? 250. Yeah, 250. So the Melbourne players will be up and about. I'm actually going to go. I think it's the upset. I think Carlton off the break. And I'm just worried about the young Melbourne team, you know, coming back from a hot day in Perth and then the travel back. Notwithstanding, they'll want to be up for Maxie, who's the absolute favourite son. I feel like, you know, Carlton will be plotting and preparing really well. And I agree with you. I think Melbourne with what they're trying to do, they'll be really up and down this year. They'll have their days as they did against in Kielder. And then the week after they'll have the opposite love, they were against free manlers as they just, Stephen King explores the way he wants to play. And it's always going to be high energy ball in motion kinds of stuff. And sometimes that works and other times you get handed to you. I have a sneaking suspicion that the trail picket will be out. You think omitted? Yeah. He had no impact against free manel after a pretty bright debut the week before. Yeah. It's going to happen. Of course, of course. And you're a bi-product of what's happening further up the field in that sort of role. A bit of talk also around, you know, not he's been on the SMS around the sponsor situation. Yeah, this is not. Can I just read that? No, I know I'm going to keep banging on about it. But why is the media not talking about the Angus Brasio not getting a part from Zurich? They are. Tell your Tom Morris has been all across this story all week. And he was across it again this morning.
here on the app if you want to go to the SEM, these may just sponsor. We have three or five days of dancing, burning, wrapping a blokes head, but nothing on the injustice of a club's major sponsor holding on a payment of an ex-premise. So the question would be asked just really quickly on this, on this topic, and you have touched on a belly. If Zurich and players not going to get covered for concussion, the Melbourne football club should go, hang on, hang on. You're our major sponsor, and one of our major concerns in our game is concussion. Yeah, well, I can't profess to be an insurance expert until you read the fine print than you don't know, but it's getting ugly now, and it's a strange situation where a club sponsor are going through whatever process they have to do, and there's talk that there's been private investigators throwing angus around, and he can't play. Not a spoke about there's. Yeah, so it's getting ugly, and I would have thought for the PR that it wouldn't have reached this point. And a bit of scuttle butt doing the rounds of the players who love angus and want to support angus, they're potentially not happy about having to wear the sponsor at the moment. So talk about maybe there'll be some sort of action there. That's just room, you can see how that would happen. Correct. Melbourne has a pretty club might turn around and go, you know what, thanks for your sponsorship. We're not really happy with this. We're going to take a stand, have some sort of financial arrangement or settlement, and then go and get someone else, because I'm sure someone will come into sponsor. Yeah, and from a footy perspective, Jack still needs more support. Yep, so Windsor needs to stand up. Young Langford needs to help out Tholster will go around and probably, you know, maybe he's on Paddy Cripps or Jacka Smith even, give the young fella a taste of a hard tag and see how you cope with it, but I'm going to go the upset here and pick Hilton. I've changed. I've got for Cym. You've convinced me to go for Cym. I've got a fairly compelling argument. It was very good by you, and we've done that. We've done that for auto masters, auto cam video reporting is one reason auto masters, one that can't stop Blue Customers Satisfaction Award. Time for this. I'll talk about jet speeds, $37,000 worth of Yamaha jetfish. Thanks to our wonderful friends at Rockingham Boating. They are WA's one-stop boating shop. The Papas trailer is thrown in, plus the jetfish, of course, 12 months red Joe on the jet ski and the trailer, and we're going to have an outside broadcast. And OB, as I like to call it in radio terms, and you'll be one of 27 finalists. If you are nearest to the pin on who's on a roll, thanks to Rockingham Boating. So let's get stuck right into it. Sean, in free-o, good morning. Yeah, Morning, Valet, hang off. How much rain down there, first of all? Give us an update. I'm working down in Lakeland today and it hasn't hit us yet. All right. I can see it coming. All right. Who's on a roll tomorrow? Sean? I've got a front string. I've got duds for five goals. Duds for five tackles and clad for five marks. Nice. That's how we roll. Yeah, exactly the spirit of it. Sean, he well done, Legion. Yeah, going out on a limb there. I like it. Duds has been in good form, but that's taking it to the next level with five in the wet. Gary and Maylands. Good day. Gary. Good morning, good morning, gentlemen. Who's on a roll? Gary. I tomorrow. Yeah. Oh, Luke Jackson. Yeah, what's going to do? Best on ground. Luke Jackson. Yeah, best on ground. Five. Yeah, five. Yeah, five goals. Five tackles and five. Five and five. Yeah, whatever. The same as Dudley. Willie. Willie. Yes. The high scoring game. Willie get five, three votes in the Goss medal. If he gets five goals, five tackles and whatever. Whatever. Whatever the last one wants for Duds, he's absolutely going to be. Thanks, Gary. My votes as well. Nice work, bye. Nathan in Bumbry, good day. Good. Hello. Well, who's on a roll? Are you going to G going dockers? First of all, three, eight, three, eight, eight. Yep. And let's have the wrong for 28 and a goal. Please. Please. Please. Yeah. All right. Well, I'm thinking he's going to bounce right back as well. It'll be hungry. Yeah. After being held by Tholstrip, although worked out well for three men. Also like that one. Good on your naith. Let's head soldier pointway. Get a Michael. Great guy. Say, Gary. Yeah. Good. You're a you're a you've got a jet ski. First of all, you're looking to upgrade. I don't do not. Okay. Well, I could see you zipping around. I could see you zipping around. Salter point in the in the jet ski. Thanks to rocking hand boating. So who's on a roll? Eric and boss and Bolton combined for six goals. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. What do you make of big Vossie last week? Too far or a bit of a pork chop. A bit of a pork chop. Okay. Not needed. Breats. Oh, in Port Hadlin. Get a breath. Hey, Joan. Yeah. Good. You better give us a weather update up in Port Hadlin. What's what's the latest? I may stop running. Yeah. Okay. And thanks for that. Tomorrow. Who's on a roll? Want to stick three and the winning goal with five tackles. Duds. Duds. Winning goal. Winning goal, five tackles and three total. All right. Stay safe up there. I'm not going to read it. Absolutely. To all our friends in the Pilbara. Absolutely. Dave in Bumbry. Morning, boys. Just to speculate, Harley Reed also gave their cry baby last year to, um, born friends. We've been doing one. Yeah. Yeah. We are. We are. Returned about this week, which we're all looking forward to. Yeah, we'll, but I might need a jet ski for transport, way to belly, as you can see, that process. That's what I'm going to say Bolton for 21 touches, five tackles and to kick one goal for one for. You're too. He's forced straight for the year, but you're a good, the old, uh, the inaccuracy returns. Okay. Against his old team. Good on your day. Camming carbon up. Morning, fellas. I'm thinking Murphy Reed again. I had him for the last three. I won. Murphy Reed for 16 plus possessions. Three goals and two score, assist or involvement. Two score involvements. Yeah. Well, I reckon he'll do that one on it to you, but like the goals and the, the possession count there. Cam, so, uh, you're in Darryl in Kingsley. Good morning. I'd like to go for Jordan, Clark, have 27 positions, 88% efficiency and also two goals. Two goals. Yep. On the halfback. Okay. He gets two goals. You could you, we might bring the jet ski to you already. Nice work by you. Thanks, Dale. Let's go to Todd of Mandarin. Todd, good morning. Morning boys. Okay. Racial and to wrong for 60 plus disposals and two goals. Yeah. That's good. Solid work. That's well done, Todd. Nice work by you. Well done. Let's go to Mark of Carlisle. Mark before we go to the news. Hello, your boys. Get a duck's breath at the moment. Oh, nice. Nice for you, Mark of Carlisle. All righty. What do you got for us in regards to who's on a roll for rocking hand boating? Carlisle wrong with 25 possessions and five tackles. Okay. Solid. Yeah. Solid. Yeah. Nice. Uh, some, yeah, a lot of work there for me actually. Yeah. To analyze and review. Uh, but love it. Thanks everyone for playing along. Yeah. That rocking hand boating is WAs one stop boating shop for sour service accessories and everything you need on the water. Now I can tell you the Richmond boys were seen at Kotoslow Beach this morning and Linda from the Kotoslow Morning report. Who used to own the Kotoslow General's store. Oh, yeah. Who now interviews randoms down there has interviewed about eight Richmond players randomly. Where is the media when you need them? She's down there with the exclusive. Just just soaking up the best that Western Australia can offer. We'll live in the boys, including a very cheeky Tom Brown, according to her report. We'll find out what they said after the news. Good morning for the Kotoslow Morning report. How are you boys this morning? Yeah. Thank you. Good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good weather today. Not really. No, nothing beats Port Malmbees. Sorry. Sorry. That's Tom Brown. Tom Brown. There's about eight Richmond boys all down there standing just basically in their undies down at the beach and Linda, of course, who does a great job. And the Kotoslow Morning reports. She just interviews randoms all down there. Formerly the owner of the Kotoslow General's store and they just decided to throw in that they thought Port Melbourne. Port Melbourne Bay. Yeah, you've been there. It's like a lake. Yeah, it's a bay. Yeah. So it's like a lake and there's no waves or anything. Is it? Not really. Is it sand? There's a ripple. Yeah, sand. It's that dirty Melbourne sort of sand. That's where it like our beautiful usually pristine beaches here in WA. Exactly. It's best this morning. Don't forget if you're looking for music, Bunnings tradeo is the SEM app, especially it's a work site playlist for traders. You hear artists like Pearl Jam, Post Malone, Teddy Swims, Tom Petty, the killers, the weekend, Inks, IonX, S, Imagine Dragons, The Boss, Spencer and Burn, Royal Otis, Barnsy, The Black Eyepiece, Have a listen, download the Bunnings tradeo. Let's get some tips. No, Jim, I hate him because when it's wet and you're trying to get horses ready and get them to track, you've got a constant trade. So Jim, Johnny, yeah. Kripper's not joining us. He said the meeting might go ahead of that Scott's hoe he's not wasting his time. As we said, so it all is on Youngy morning, Youngy. Good morning, Belly. Hello, Gus. How are you?
Matthew, what do you got for us? Well, what are you reckon about tonight? Go ahead. Um, I'm skeptical. Okay. Yeah, at the moment, it's not too bad and. It's not right! (LAUGHS) Yes, that's one of the better ones. Yeah, look, it's a little bit concerning, but at the same time, the weatherman has been wrong from time to time in the past, so hopefully it's not as bad as expected. So in this situation, then, are you reluctant to give up your tips in the event that the meeting is called off, and then you've shown your hand? No, not really. Thank you. I can't believe I longed in. (LAUGHS) Let me go for a spin. Look, a wage in, I've got two that I like. Yeah, we'll go two wage. Was that where I thought I was tipping initially? So, um, yeah, race five, number five, Magic Bar, I think, will lead and win, and it's around about $1.90, and then I think you couple that up with checker in the last race, seven, number nine, who's around about $1.95. So, I think that's your double there. Couple them up. Yep. And then at Gloucester Park, looking at the meeting today, there's one that I really liked in race number five in just Call Me Mickey. Is it $3.30 for Team Bond? This horse was really good first up. The race was not run to suit the horse, powered home strongly. I think there's going to be plenty happening in the early stages, and that's really going to play in the hands of just Call Me Mickey, who is a very versatile type, placed in the Golden Nugget, and also what race in the Nullabore. So, I loved what I saw first up. $3.30, I think is a really good price. So, that would probably be my one and done for Gloucester Park as well. I know you're shooting me a bit of a look there, but. What's the value, man? I know you would. Give me something. Something. I don't care. We're win, why, or how? I can't be. I love the winners at any price. Short price winners have been on the long price loser, but you are the value man. This is your one word. It's all you. That's for you walking to Gloucester Park and we'll ping-jee-round, people go, "Here comes Mr. Value." Don't be in Florence, you stick to your guns. Race seven. Oh, you got it, Goss. Race seven at Gloucester Park, there's. I want to play two in the race, because I think it could be something happening early. My copy will. I think we'll try and lead. We'll roll the dice. Arithas is a nice horse, but he's first up for Gemma Hayman. And off the back row, I'm happy to play both Blue Blazer at 20-1, and also Bazaar Package. He was a standing last Saturday at their dingalos. I knew. I knew you would come up with the goods. Their mothers were a mother. Alrighty, Blue Blazer. Bazaar Package. So he's looking for value, race seven, number 10 and 11. Youngie, nice work on these tools out there today. Thank you. Well, though, seven-one. Kevin did say other button pushes a sleep, misplenive opportunity. I just sheer volume, of course. Yeah, right. There's a bit going up in your pocket. You pissed up yourself. Well said. Good on your exit. We're going to take a break. Come back. Richa is going to enjoy Jason Richardson. Huge day for William Pike at Australian Cup, obviously. Exactly. Flemington. Exactly right. And the Mori Plant Athletics meeting as well. Huge day for Nina Kennedy tomorrow, of course, in her major red tooth. Abbott, but here's a pulleer. A pulleer on the outside claims them. Racist of the lead. The wizard. He draws the shallalee. And away goes a pulleer. A pulleer's going to win and win it easily for the Hayes boys. They claim their first Perth Cup of Pollyah Beat filthy habits. Third forever boy. Then rocking society. Right behind them. So that was Julia and William Pike winning the Perth Cup. And the boys will be united tomorrow. Well, they'll be united. A pulleer and of course, William Pike as Pike is heading across to Melbourne for the group one. Australian Cup at Flemington. Ten races on the program. And who better to speak to than the man. Of course, who heads up the seven broadcast of racing. And that is Jason Richardson. Richo, appreciate your time. Good morning. Oh, brilliant to be with you both. Gosh, you must have a lot of money. If you can afford Peter Bell on your program as a car. I was you. He does not get out of bed this early, unless you are giving him a lot of sheep. We had a lot left over after A Simpson left. Let me tell you you want to talk about. One bloke who loves his money more than anyone. That's A Simpson. I just. I'm not hard to believe. Belly, bloody beautiful to speak to you. Yes, us kangaroo bikes. We stick together and Simo departed. And he suggested I get in contact with the station. Oh, it's fantastic, mate. Looking forward to the races tomorrow. We've had this. The horrible weather that you're receiving in WA. We had a storm hit Melbourne last night. Where Flemington's gone from a good four track to a soft track. Soft bordering on heavy now. That'll drain out. It's the best racing surface in Australia. So if we don't get a lot more rain over the next 24 hours, it'll be okay. But with a big wind around, it's going to make it tough for a horse like, say, pride of Jenny in a Australian cup. Because she's going to be punching into that breeze on her own, which is going to make it pretty tough. But yet another element that's just going to test us mighty pumpers. It's a cracking race. Is it a top kittens learn how to win? Which is fantastic. Birdman looks like it's the star of the future. So bars was enormous last start. As you talked about when pride of Jenny is in a race, it's all about who's got the ball, so to speak, to track up and truck up behind them and drag the rest of the group up. And do you make your run to Will have heard Mark Zara speak? How difficult it is to ride in a race with pride of Jenny. There's so many elements to this. Yeah, totally agree with you there. What pride of Jenny does, as you've touched on there, it really tests the other jockeys. Because Declan Bates knows her so well. So he knows how fast she can go. But what it does to the other jockeys is how much head start can I give her? Can I stay in touch? Can I ride my horse out of its comfort zone to be in touch in striking distance with her? And if I do that, will I drag the entire field up and they end up getting a sit on me? And then we see a scenario like the Queen Elizabeth a couple of years ago where they all looked at each other. And then looked up and she's 30 lengths in front. Now I wanted to do the chasing. And then the end she wins by five or six lengths. So that's the extra element. She, the reality is, I think as she's got older, you look at her last three runs over 2000 meters. She's been beaten in excess of 10 lengths. Every one of them. She, for mine, she's a mileer now. I don't think she wins over 2000 meters. Because this horse, Birdman, has gone a whole different level. He is actually now a proper horse. And I think he'll show that on Saturday. Rich, what about Likolusi talking about, myle in the All Star mile making ground in the future, the making ground, how do conditions and pattern of the race suit like a Lucy? Yeah, well, she's a New Zealand oaks winner. So the cut in the track would suit her. So she's riding the race. And that's why she's under double figures. If you're looking for a $10 plus play, it might be the Perth Cup winner in a poolier who is going so well. So that was a terrific win in the Perth Cup. We know it's not a group one anymore. And it's back to 2400 meters. That's a discussion for another time. But he was impressive there. And he was a slight query over the trip. We used to think he was a mileer early on in his career. But he went to a whole different level. And he's come back and run really well at weight for age. So I think he will run a slashing race, a poolier. I think from a double figures price, maybe over like Lucy's been well supported into single figures. I think a poolier, the Perth Cup winner might be the one. We've touched on William Piker who's riding a poolier and he's riding for Ben Will and J.D. Of course. And he's got a heap of rides for them tomorrow at Flemington. You know, like, look, it is a big race. And the fact is that they are seeking his services. And I know he had that link with the poolier over here. The Perth Cup he was impressive. Honour, he loves the horse. They seem to gel together as a training group and William Pike. Interesting about Pikey's decision where he goes from here now. I mean, to be riding against the best of the best on a big race day like it is. And for a stable, it's in Red Hot Form, the Hay stable. That's another feather in William Pike's Cup. You'd be surprised or not surprised if he was to ride over there more permanently. Well, you don't need to convince anyone on the eastern states how good Pikey is. Because remember, a couple of years ago that he spent a lot of time in Melbourne, he won Group 1s and he's ride on a mask crusader when a William Reeb was breathtaking at Mooney Valley. He's got 18 Group 1s on his CV because not just because of Perth because of what he's done on the eastern states as well. So there'd be a huge appetite for William Pike here. But as we know, he's a country boy that loves to live on the farm and doesn't want to do that. So every time there is an opportunity to come over, I reckon it's great that he grabs that opportunity and every time that he does, he'll have a full book of rides because everyone respects him so much here. And then I think originally he was coming over just to test out his old mate Ray Magnereo, he'll ride in the quacker. So he came over to spin around on Ray and then reconnected. Of course, with the poolier, the Hayes boys say, "Well mate, if you're going to be here, Pikey, we're going to use you." Because keep him in mind also, we have that dilution at the moment because we have the Carnival in Sydney, the Carnival in Melbourne. So normally, if it's say just Melbourne Cup Week or it's the championships week in Sydney, that the best jockeys are all in the one place. Well, now we've got Group 1 racing in Sydney, Group 1 racing in Melbourne. So there is a bit of a dilution of the best jockeys. So if W Pikey is available, he will be snapped up. Richa Abbasade's Australian Cup big, big day obviously.
out there at Flemington or a couple other races or horses in particular that you can't wait to see. Yeah, I think that the Victoria's, the VRC Sprint Classics are beauty. It's a half a million dollar race. My gladiola is a short price favourite. Now, I was keen that she was going to run really well in the new market, but she overraced horribly early on in the race and then the race shape was poor. So you can see why she's favourite because Jamie Mott jumps back on. That's no knock on Craig Williams. So Jamie Mott jumping on. So I think my gladiola is going to take an absolute power of beating there. We've got the two big group ones in Sydney, which will be covering on Channel 7 as well with the Tancred, the return of Dubai honour. It's had a little, you know, a few little warm-ups over on synthetic tracks over in England getting ready to have another crack at a Tancred. The T1 last year, he defeated Voban. It was about a length and a half between them last time. There might be a length and a half between them again. Voban's going really well, but then you're adding Alliana for Chris Waller and James McDonald who also rides a Hopi wins in the Vineries. So you would argue, there's a huge chance that Jamie and Chris Waller just had another two group ones to their CV on Saturday. And then Waller trains Birdman as well in Melbourne. So CJ Waller, who arrived 20 years ago and slept in the back of his car with two horses, he's pretty good now, he's getting close to 200 group ones. A hundred percent, but interesting enough, and I had this conversation with someone the other day, like C Waller, he will train a horse that will go around at 25 to 1 in Brisbane or cans or not cans. But some of those lesser tracks, they go around at 25 to 1. C Waller, he's not prone to, doesn't have to have an odds on favourite to be winning a race, doesn't matter where in the country, he's freaky. He is freaky, but sometimes he has got, sometimes he has five in the race, so you don't know which one to back. That's the body problem. After 20 years, but you know what I mean, Vichot? A lot of the time it is the outsider. God love it, it's a great game, isn't it? God is fun. Not if you're tipped into the even money, C Waller, and you get beaten by the 25 to 1 statement mate. Can you be in two places at once? We've got the Mori plant meat, of course, and I know it's huge, we know Mori plant, of course, a legend through athletics for many, many years through his exploits as a coach and also a commentator and the knowledge base that he has. It's prime time, it's on 7 mate, live, of course, Saturday and 7 plus sport. Where are you? Or racing or the race or the running? Look, B MacCovaney said, I'm not doing the racing, I need to concentrate on the preparing to call the athletics, but because I'm such a, I'm a little minnow, I'm doing the horse racing and then dropping the mic at about 515 and I'll do a few track side interviews at the athletics. Should be a beauty, a gap gap versus lucky Kennedy over 200 metres will be a bit of a rematch of their clash last year in the Mori plant meat and they're racing into Peter Norman Memorial which is such a great race and we remember an incredible Australian in Peter Norman. What a humanitarian he was. The late Peter Norman's on are there with Gout versus lucky, that should be a beauty. George Hunter Bell, the world indoor 1500 metre champion arrives over from England and she'll be having a crack against Cloudy Hollingsworth, this incredibly talented 20 year old Abbey Caudwell, Commonwealth Games, bronze medalist and then all eyes on WA's very own in the mighty Nina, Nina Kennedy is the Olympic gold medalist in the pole vault. So she had her first competition in in Perth, she won there at the Perth track classic but she did it off about five steps, well, even a lot. She's extended her run up to about three quarters, of course she's on her way back from many injuries so she's such a brilliant athlete. So Nina will be front and centre, Nicola Rolishlagas in the high jump is always very entertaining. Big Matty Denny's throwing the heavy plate, the discus, that'll be good and there's also the men's 15-odd metres where Cam Myers, this unbelievably talented junior or just out of junior ranks, fastest 18 year old ever, even faster than Inga Britson over 500 metres. He's up against the German who has, I have a lot of Aussies but up against the German who's made Olympic finals and World Championship finals, his first name's Robert and his surname is FARKEN. Now I'm looking forward to Bruce calling that action when my mother's FARKEN, start the stride, get the stride, we'll be interesting viewing. Can we get the multi? Can you get 30 seconds to get a multi yet? Can we get Gat Gat into Nina, into the winner of the big race at Flemington? Into Robert. Into Robert. Well, I'm looking at my, Myers will beat Robert so we'll have Myers into Gat Gat into all. I'm not going to take Nina, she's up against some quality Americans so I'll leave Nina out into Birdman, into our Hopi wins in the winery. Nice work by you. You're a star, mate. You're a star. Off to do some TV this morning. Appreciate it mate. Always great to chat. Thanks for joining us. Anytime. I'll see you at Quoketown. Yeah, I'll cut. Wait, yeah, absolutely. We cannot wait for the day. Good day. Good day. Good day. Good day, good day. Good day, everybody. There he is. Jason Richardson, you can see his work. You don't think there's anyone with more rounded knowledge on everything. No, you could just tell that. It's Freak. It's Freak. Excited about the Murray Planton. I'm excited about how the great Bruce McAvani is going to approach Robert. Well, remember the Mark War had a bit of trouble with F*ck Azaman. Too big a pardon? Yeah, yeah, F*ck Azaman. I'm pretty sure that's how you said. Anyway, that's Billy and Gus and thanks to Jason Richardson. That's it, Billy. That's it for a Friday show. I think the highlight was Dave from Dunsborough. The Stefan Jaro from nowhere was an unbelievable call and totally redeemed my faith in quizzes after last week's the back of the course. Hey, stay safe on the road. Catch you with food tomorrow.
