The campaign for Real Actives, a skincare line targeting acne-prone skin, is built around the central idea of maintaining inner calm amidst life’s chaos. The brand uses a storytelling approach rooted in personal experience—showing how the creator remains composed through emotional ups and downs—to build authenticity and emotional resonance. The campaign features a cheeky, non-commercial tone that avoids clichés like overused New York references, focusing instead on relatable, human moments. A unique interactive element includes a hidden note in the first 2,000 product kits, inviting fans to engage and create community buzz. The product line includes a deep-cleansing acid serum and a calming amp that address redness, texture, and clarity. The narrative blends humor, vulnerability, and self-awareness, such as the creator’s reflections on being calm during stress or unexpected events. Behind the scenes, the creator shares candid moments—like food reactions or wild shoots—to reinforce authenticity. The campaign is strategically timed with a reality show launch to maximize visibility during public interest. Ultimately, the campaign positions Real Actives not just as a skincare brand, but as a movement of self-care and emotional resilience, delivered through meaningful, memorable content.
- People always ask me, "How is this so cool?" - Hey vlog! - How did I get to this point? It's crazy. - When did I prove that? (laughs) (upbeat music) - You should be able to get like a vibe or a feeling from the name that like you would want to put your skin. (audience applauds) (upbeat music) - Don't let that decide for me. - So anytime she's out there, I just want to watch her. - Yep, good girl. - Make sure she's hot. - Eating lizard? - Eating the wild blood. - Showing her back. - Like, she can go. (laughing) - That was crazy. - Did she just, - I've never seen her do that before. - Did she just go sideways? - She just like, lifted up and like, dead dropped. - She's like, and that was hilarious. (laughs) - She's originally from here, right? - Uh-huh. - She's a Miami girl. - So I think having a benefit in the name or like an ingredient for it in the name seems to work. - I like having a calm in it. - Yeah. - You should be able to get like a vibe or a feeling from the name that like you would want for your skin. - Go deep, go calm. - Yeah, like how do you start? - That could be like our serum treatment. - Yeah, go deep, go calm. - What if the first 2,000 orders of the real essentials kit, starting a certain date, accidentally has this like crumpled up piece of paper in it and it looks like it's a mistake. And then it just says like, call me 914 with this number. We could go to maybe the warehouse or something or the facility and like, take a video and I'm like, I'm putting something in these boxes. And then like, then I think that would immediately get like the engaged community. - Yeah, if they work very well with like, go to them, you know what I mean? - You know, it'd be so funny. - 'Cause we're shooting those things. - If it's like not like your schedule to be at the warehouse, if it's like you broke into the warehouse. (upbeat music) - If you don't want to go to Lane Caster class because it's really up and far. - No, I wanna go. - Okay, do you like the vibe? - I like the motion. I don't want it to look too like cheesy New York, you know? - Yeah, they really leaned on taxi cabs. I don't know if they kept the taxi cab whole thing in here. But my reaction to that is it feels too overt and too kind of like brandy. So we can push them in the right direction. So not too cheesy New York. Like does it feel too on the nose? - Yeah, so that's what I feel about the taxi cab stuff that if they kept it in, you'll feel good. So maybe let's click through and then see everything and then come back. - So this again would be more like, not like a scripted video. - Right, like a vibe, be one. - I think like a creative cheeky video is always, I just think it'll do better. - Okay. - And it doesn't need to feel super commercial-esque, but it will be more remembered than like a vibe aesthetic video. And I think that's what people are used to seeing me as well, like talking and talking to them, not just like being in a vibe world. What tone would you want for this campaign? Like how much humor versus sexy versus. I think when there's too much humor, then sometimes it's like cheesy. But like is a funny time to like lean into like drama or things, not like too much. But like at that point, everyone's gonna have something to say about whatever else is going on. It's gonna be like a chaotic time, yup. And the headlines and like, so maybe what if it's more of a sentiment? Like people ask me how I stay so calm. And maybe it's more of like a metaphor than like actuality. That way we can like make it pretty imagery as well. Or like I'm walking into different scenarios. Everything's falling apart, but like I'm very put together. (upbeat music) - Alex, who'd you like to come on track? - Do things pull up from time to time? - Sure. - I think that this is a good scene. - We still want me to. - Country vibe. - Yeah. - Within our chaos. - People ask me how I stay so calm. - Yeah. - Like I'm like walking through different scenarios and I'm like, but like, that's all I got. (laughs) - People always ask me, how I stay so calm. - And if you would have got for you agent. - Okay. - What would it be if I didn't have a broken back? - That's just massaging you. - It's like heat and vibration. - It would go good. - Getting old. - 25 hit and I need a walker. (laughs) - That's so sick. (beep) - Hey vlog, we're on set. They wanted to go calm campaign. - I always have like very like red pinky undertones in my skin and I wanted something that was gonna be like anti-redness. When we were going through the different ingredients and what would also be good for like my skin type and clarity and we came up with a as a like acid serum, but it also has really great ingredients in it, like not thoroughly and that are very calming and basically like redness, texture, clarity, calming, all in one. So go deep as our PM serum and then go calm as our amp. I honestly feel like too. Just the overall complexion of my skin has been looking so great and I've been saying online. I've been like, I've been using an as a like acid but I haven't obviously specified too much but I was hate when I feel like I'm gay keeping 'cause I'm like, yes, I'm using the four products from real but I also have another one that's really great now too. So I'm excited for it to be out there and the shoot is gonna be so fun. They've been building this for like 24 hours. See it out there? There's real grass. Yeah, they were mowing it earlier. The overall concept with this campaign is like, there is chaos and things going on around me but like I'm remaining very calm. This all started with me thinking of like the timing of this campaign coming out and that it's gonna be like around the launch of our reality show and probably will just be like chaos and the chatter at the time anyway. So I wanted something that was gonna be able to like play into it and like a funny cheeky way. I'm really excited to capture the chaos but I'm calm 'cause I'm my serum. First look up the day. Very cute. And I love these like big clock heels that we have. Let's go see. This setup is so much peach fuzz on my face and I forget because we don't retouch the skin and all the shoots that we do for this. It's like always the layer of peach fuzz. I really need to smooch. Getting that off. I need to remind myself before we do our next shoot. I thought there was like smarts going off. I was like, I don't know, like something got over it. You can see like the bite. Yeah. It looks like a bite, not a scale. It looks good. You're having no problem. No food poisoning and I can't. Nothing. And then it's like bite. We have a bite. Yeah. Do you think I'm allergic? I think. Oh, you're reacting. Yeah. I want to keep the high on it. Just to make sure that you're not actually having like a reaction to it. Okay. So I'll go and try to make sure it stays. It has a great warmth. Okay. Perfect. Yeah. Yeah. Are we reacting? I'll try to. Yeah, we? Yeah, that's great. [MUSIC PLAYING] [BEEPING] That was so cute. We-- oh, my God. I feel like we definitely got something. Good. That's what Alex is doing good. OK. Oh, it's hearing everything. Is that OK? Yeah. Yeah. Has to be. Oh, that. OK. Second best start to age. Second best? Second best. Oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh. Are you kidding me? OK, we'll see now. This is why we couldn't have Asia. I know. That's what got to be sad. Asia can't do that. Wow. I mean, plug your gear. That's better than any show that I've got in all the time. We're going to show you the app. What is it? Thank you so much for doing a lot of work. We'll see you tomorrow. I'm a pretty girl. All right, we want to go to bed. This is the first time that we've had Alex, no fever, no food poisoning, just like Alex Earl, all in her full self. [MUSIC PLAYING] Try if you were you're holding the product out. Like it's so bright and you're blocking the sun. When you wear sunglasses, does it change how you look at the photo? Are you still looking at the same spots? I'm still looking at the same spots, but it helps when it covers your face. Because sometimes it's like my eyes are like-- Love. Love them? OK, good. So good. Is it time to get wet or-- You excited? I'm so excited. I'm never going to be more excited for anything in my life. Ever in your shoe, it's how can we drench my legs? But this is going to be so good. At least it's not freezing out. Smells like that hot over here. This is real grass. She's definitely going to get wet. [MUSIC PLAYING] Yeah. Never not cold. Never not cold. Seriously. That's OK, because we got hammers. My feet are like raisins. [MUSIC PLAYING] Every single kid can do that. And then likely like this. [BEEP] So little jelly. Are you set a beauty as pink? No, Tyler. [LAUGHTER] Oh, cold. So wet, cold, real summer. Oh, my god. I'll take that from you. Let's get Alex. [CHEERING] Hand warmers, everyone. [MUSIC PLAYING] Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you, free. Happy birthday.

All right, good. Outside. Done. Perfect. How do you approve ranch on pizza? Of course. Of course. So, of course. Do you approve ranch on Chao Mai? It's good. Don't knock it till you try it. I would put ranch on pretty much anything. Oh. Say for you. Try it. Do you hate it? Yeah. So, you're saying you would try like a tuna roll dipped in a ranch? Honestly. What about ranch with some soy sauce too? I feel like that sounds good. Okay. It's not basically what they give you those or mayonnaise sauces. Same thing. It's not the same thing. What's the orange sauce they give you? Spicy mayo. Yeah. So, your ranch is the new spicy mayo. Listen. You never know. Have you ever seen Ember's new group? Yeah. Your legs and your hands, when you took the gloves off, reminded me of the girl. What was her name? For some reason, that's one of those things where it's like, I don't remember watching it, but like, why is it like. It's in green. It's ingrained in my head.
