Bears Break Eagles, Power Ranking Fantasy Buy-Low (and Sell-Low) Targets, and the End of '80s Month
93m 27s
The episode of The Ring of Fantasy Football Show centers on the Bears' dominant 27-7 victory over the Eagles, highlighting the exceptional performance of veteran quarterback Case Kingdom. Ben Johnson’s innovative and creative play-calling—such as unique guard movements and receiver routes—was called a masterclass in offensive flexibility, earning praise for its strategic depth and nostalgia. However, the game was marred by several critical errors, including a fumble by Colston Loveland, a poorly executed goal-line sequence, and a disastrous interception due to a miscommunication during a play. The Eagles, led by a struggling offense and questionable coaching decisions, were outclassed, especially in the second half. The discussion shifts to fantasy football strategy, where the hosts advocate for "buy low" tactics, identifying players like Malik Neighbors, Jalen Waddle, and Jadari Price as underappreciated or inconsistent due to injury, poor performance, or coaching issues. The team emphasizes that fantasy success often hinges on evaluating team dynamics, player health, and offensive volatility rather than relying on hype. Ultimately, the episode blends real-game analysis with fantasy trading insights, promoting caution and long-term thinking in player acquisition. The segment also features a humorous commentary on coaching and quarterback preparation, noting how unprepared rookies often struggle in the NFL while veteran players bring strategic depth. Verbal exchanges about player value, such as the appeal of Tucker Kraft or the potential of Travis Henderson, underscore the dynamic nature of fantasy football decision-making. The show concludes with an endorsement of simplicity in service plans, tying in a promotional message from Verizon, while reinforcing the theme that sometimes the best moves are the most straightforward.
On today's episode of The Ring of Fantasy Football Show, the Bears beat the Eagles by 20 points with K-Skinham at quarterback. We have Bilo players and Cello players who will say if you're panicking, they're to take advantage of it or not, and someone in fantasy court tries to steal Chris Olave from a 10-year-old child, all that and more after the game. Welcome to The Ring of Fantasy Football Show. My name is Danny Hyves. I'm joined by Danny Kelley and Craig Horlbeck and today it is power hour, where every Wednesday we power rank something. And this week we are power ranking Bilo's or Cell Lo's. I don't know the name yet. Bilo or cut bait, Bilo or Panic. I don't know. Cell the dip or Panic. I don't know. Working on the name. But it's basically players who sucked in, we're going to debate whether in effect they are or not Bilo's. But first, Monday at football. The Bears beat Eagles on Monday at football. Bears 27. Eagles 7. Decade, do you find this an inspiration to old people everywhere? How old is Case Kingdom? 60. He got it. He does have like an air about him that feels older than I think he actually is. I mean, they were talking about him like he was legitimately 50 years old and I get because he hasn't played it. He's 38. And I get he hasn't played in a while. So that old. Yeah. Older than many play quality. Office of coordinators in the NFL. Yes. I saw last night on Twitter and all the socials that like the ESPN or whoever was interviewing him. The freeze frame, like for the start of the video was him just like blowing air out of his mouth like exhaling, like, you know, the super stress like, you know, just, he just looked like he was overwhelmed a little bit, but yeah, they're in a past since 2023 in the game. So it has been a while. Like, he's the same age as Matt Stafford, but yeah, dude, Ben Johnson. I love when a coach can like flex different muscles with different skill sets on players. You know, like, I swear, there are times and coaches like having backups because it allows them to like flex and do something different. And him having case kingdom is like an older slower version of Jared Goff and Detroit where Ben Johnson was. And so I feel like he was like, I got this. I can make this work. Kingdom was moving in the pocket a little bit. Kingdom was super accurate. This is a fucking sick flex by Ben Johnson. So right with the coaching thing, you know, the the Joker, it's a fucked up line, but the Joker is like, I actually don't like killing people with guns. I like killing them with knives because you get all the little emotions come out. It's like that's Ben Johnson. I'd rather be with Chris Kingdom by 20 points than Kayla Williams. Right? Kingdom, it was an amazing. I mean, the amount of things Ben Johnson did in this game that touched down at the end where they did the two guards pulling and running in other directions, which I guess he pulled from the Rand Super Bowl 25 years ago was, I mean, that is an all time, like, I'm, you know, like, honestly, it's like sun zoo. It's like some one of those, like, if it doesn't work, you look like an idiot. I'm going to have both guards run as far away from the quarterback as quickly as possible. And it will be unblocked. And the case. Kingdom just gets it at the end zone. But there were so many examples like that. You have receivers moving and running between the guard and the tackle. And it's creative enough to have one receiver. There was a play he had two different receivers run through the offensive line to release on their routes. All these little things to just create an angle here or a second here. And sometimes it doesn't work like when you have Cole Komet trying to block Jalen Carter and then it doesn't work and they have the terrible goal and sequence. But overall, yeah, this was like an all time Ben Johnson game. He's like, you know what it reminds me of is, you know how like there's these mashups online where it's like a DJ will use one one song and like inner mix, little tiny little, you know, references or samples from other songs and you're like, Oh, this guy is cooking. How did he, how did he decide to match that with that? That's like sometimes how I feel watching Ben Johnson because, and this was like going back even 20 was with the Lions. It's like he would pull things out of his ass and like, Oh my God, we haven't seen this play since the 1987 Falcons Rams game, you know, it's like, and people are referencing these random ass things. He's like sampling as he's doing his so it's like calling Craig, you know the big booty remixes, right? By two friends. Yeah. And they have all these ones and my favorite one, there's like, it's like a VG. It's like wake me up by VG into like kid cutie day at night into the space like the Michael Jordan, the Bulls walk out song. And then they have like dreams at nightmares by meekmill over can't stop by the chili peppers and that is decay. That's exactly how I feel watching the Bears off it. It's just so cool. And also, by the way, it's funny Craig to your point where it's like coaches like having the backups come in sometimes. I think especially when it's a backup like he and was been around forever and you know, he's he knows the playbook or the whatever the play calls and everything. And he's just like really in tune with the offense. And high fives. You've been saying it all week. He's basically like a coach, right? He's a coach on this team. Well, they were calling him a player coach. And then I think he was like, he's actually he described himself more as a coach player. Like he's. So, but that was on my mind the whole game. And I think one of the big things about him and sort of like the most noticeable thing about this offense is he was playing on time. It's like, you know, I'm not no one's going to say that he should take over her Caleb Williams. But like, he's a very different style than Caleb Williams who does not play on time nearly as much. He has like a longer time to throw than any other quarterback. He's kind of a, you know, he's a jazz musician versus a guy who's there to like play rhythm. Keenam was playing rhythm. He was just hitting, getting, hitting his back foot, getting the ball out like the ball was moving. He was finding Luther Burton. He was finding Raymond, you know, they finally got Loveland involved. Roman Dunezay. Don't get me started on that fricking brick off his hands in the end zone. But that was like one of the worst misses I've ever seen in my life. He's kind of like a fantasy blue ball Hall of Fame game for anyone who had meaningful players heading into this game. I mean, you can talk about Roman Dunezay fumbling the ball in the end zone, not getting the touchdown. Colston Loveland pulling the ball backwards as he's falling toward the goal line. I could not believe that down to one inch line. So he doesn't score. I mean, even like. Yeah, that's true. It looks like sac one was going to have 250 yards in this game. Basically, after half time, he was irrelevant and wasn't a part of the game. Yeah, how about the two goal and see the bears fall up that horrible goal and sequence with those plays you guys mentioned and then they go for an hour and call and really kiss getting sure to throw on a pick six to Quinn, you know, Mitchell, Eagles get the ball, go down their goal line. And then Jalen hurts comes out of the game for the concussion check and then sac want stuff, sac want stuff. So then third and goal hurts and sac want are not even on the field and don't throws a pick. I can't. Which was insane. Yeah. So yeah, the Colson leveling play play real quick because Nikhil is probably somewhere just itchy and wanting to get this get this on the record. Like apparently Ben Johnson at practices will like throw people out for trying to reach over the goal line because you know, it's like the rule is if you fumble into the end zone to turn over. I understand all that. But he quite literally all he had to do was not move his arms. He didn't have to reach out. He just had to not pull the ball in doing what he's told because like dude, come on. Sometimes you need to just like fucking reach over the goal line. Score. Goddamn touchdown. He literally pulled the ball closer to his body as he was going over the head and I was like Jesus man. You've already been frustrated enough. Just score the frigate touchdown and let's move on with our lives and then the fact that they went and turned it over on that was just just an all-timer. Craig, how did it feel watching Luther Burton score the opening touchdown in this game? Like the stars were aligning like things were starting to make sense in this world. I look I knew it. I never gave up. He looks great. I don't know what to tell you guys. Yeah. He does move different and maybe Case Kingdom is the key here because Ben Johnson can actually scheme up stuff like in rhythm in system to get Luther Burton the ball rather than Caleb just running around and like playing jazz like the case said. But it kind of did feel like Case Kingdom made it easier for Luther Burton to be part of the offense. I think also they designed a lot of plays to get burned in the ball when get yards after the catch because that was the only way to do it. Exactly. I think because you had to kind of the yeah, I'm not Case Kingdom again. This won't continue like he's they couldn't play like this all season. And then also, you know, I don't think keynems better than Caleb Williams by any means. But I do think it's interesting when whenever something like this happens with some old washed quarterback. I mean, we see Joe Flacco. Even last year Joe Flacco went to the Bengals and four days notice he was traded from the Browns to the Bengals and then beat the Steelers on Thursday and football on four days notice last year. Whenever a quarterback comes in that can just do I got a magic trick play on time. It does throw in such stark relief how unprepared quarterbacks are coming from college football to the NFL and the whole Tom Brady old man yelling a cloud thing about you used to learn a program and now you learn a playbook. And now none of these guys even know I mean, a lot of them aren't huddling or just running up to the offense basically playing seven on seven and like, you feel like, oh, yeah, old man out of touch. And you're like, you watch a game like this and like, oh, yeah, wow. It's kind of unnerving how unprepared a lot of these quarterbacks are are when they're thrown into this into the NFL early. I mean, it's funny to watch case game and do that also like flip side. This was definitely a better win for the Bears because they beat the Eagles with case kingdom. But dude, the Eagles scored seven points against the Bears. It's a bad game. I mean, Nick Serionis lost the Eagles and Jay.
tail and hurts lost to the third string quarterback. They didn't just lose. They got their ass kick. They got it. Everyone was outplayed and out coach. Nick Siriani finally said it out loud, said, I need to coach better, which is called a pussy in the middle of the game. By the way, he was like, there's a video that caught him like yelling, you're a pussy. Oh, I think that was that the guy who hit Jalen hurts out of bounds, which was a, that deserved to be a penalty. I will say that hurts, hurts really did have the tail and two halves in this game. Cause hurts, I thought I thought played pretty well in the first half. Yeah. I mean, the Eagles look good at first half. They were running the ball. They did. They looked fine. Eagles probably should have had 21 points in the first half. I do think the Eagles were touched down. If hurts doesn't have to come out there for the compression check, I don't know why seriana doesn't call time out to try to buy some time there. But then the second, they're hurt. They're hurt. You've got Andy Dalton and tank biggs beyond the field. Yeah, it's a call time out. What are you doing? And then seriana screwed up a bunch of stuff. They didn't go for a tish push on fourth and one and a half. They're like, well, it's a long yard. I'm like, they, they punt, like you're the tish push team. And then what happens? They end up having to go for a fourth and five and then a fourth and 22 because they didn't want to go for a fourth and one and a half down to touchdowns. But hurts, they come out of half time. They go three and out, three drives in a row. And then hurts throws this interception right to TJ Edwards, who's the linebacker used to be in the Eagles, who's like either listening to the play call. No, that video of him just like this. Oh, God, the meme of the month, like everyone's just listening it. He's just right in the huddle. That's the context throughout that. The way it's edited is really funny. Where he just put his ear in the huddle. And then it cuts. It just came. It's I always, you know, the George Bush, when he's like, we do not negotiate with Paris. And then it just cuts to him. Like, now watch this drive. And he just, yeah, it's kind of that level of like Edwards listening in. It's like I'm intercepting the ball. It's great. That was so funny. The way he's like looking to it. Just to look on his face. He's like, just hello. Can you say that a little louder one more time? I want to know exactly where I'm going. It's funny too because I feel like he was trolling and expected to get shoved out of the huddle. And then he just didn't. Dude, quarterback must be really fucking hard because it's because like the fact that guys who are as good as Jalen Hertz can make a throw like that where you're watching it. And you're like, dude, you were, this man is just standing right in front of your face. And you just threw it to him. It's like the t-rex. If you don't move, they can't see you. They're just must be so much going on where you're like, you just expect things to be there. And you just have to trust your instincts rather. Trust like what is supposed to happen rather than actually seeing and reading because like I was talking to this the other day. He was saying I see the field. And like, he's pretty sick. I don't see anything 40 percent at the time. Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah. I mean, I mean, it hurts almost through that to TGA. Words too. I mean, it's, yeah, I mean, a lot of what defenses become is using a quarterback's training against them in a lot of ways because they're under prepared to begin with. But no, Hertz, it really was a great summary of the Jalen Hertz situation because that was a terrible pick. They couldn't move the ball in the second half. There's still kind of a three-on-out machine. But also the offensive lines, not the same. They don't have the same faith in the Tush push. The offensive line had a lot of bad penalties. Did the Eagles have 10 penalties in this game? But also Jalen Hertz is the only reason this game was even close because he got that Tush push sequence in at the end of the first half, which was one of the best plays he's had in a long time. Like, that was entirely a very impressive screen to Devante Smith, which I didn't love that play call. That takes a lot of time. There's a lot of factors out of your control in that screen. They nearly fucked it up because they barely got that playoff. Because Devante was kind of held up in a pile there for a few seconds. That's just, I don't know. That's not the play. It worked out. But that play, I mean, yeah, I was like, you should get to the one spike it. But Hertz calling the spike off and just giving the Tush push. That's a smart. Yeah. Yeah. So it wasn't even the Tush push by though. It was just a sneak. It was, it was a very, very savvy play. And like, and Cereani said at halftime, it's like, we run, we run that, we practice that all the time. Yeah, sure. Like, it was the operation of that was high, high level. I love Cereani. I love that. That was like fully a Hertz call. I don't know why it felt like Cereani just like showed up. To credit. Yeah, we, we practiced that, that, that play, exactly that situation. That's all they do that. Yeah. I planned that. I'm like, Hertz made that call. That was great. He reminds me so much of Aaron Boone. I, the, the, the Eagles are so, if the Eagles are behind, they're one of the worst teams in the league. Like they, they were running both super well. Say one look great. He only had 15 carries in this game. Say one has not had more than 15 carries in a game this year, which is a problem. But the Eagles, when it's within like seven points, and they can like have a balanced offense, they look really good. I thought the offensive line got a lot of push for sake one and he was running great. He had space. Yeah. He did. Once they get that 10, 14 points and you know, they have to throw like they're neutered. Couldn't agree more. And again, Devonti Smith has a few catches a game where you're like, is he like a top five receiver in the NFL with Devonti Smith has some sideline catches where you're like, you know, he's kind of every, like I, I wonder if there's an alternate reality where we're Devonti Smith's on with Buffalo or Kansas City. And I'm like, you see Jackson Smith and Jigba. And another like 1500 yards of season. Yeah. Yeah. Like he seems like Jay, Devonti Smith could have 1800 yards in his season. But the only play that they run for him are the screen that got to that one. And like that, those like, which Jalen hurts this amazing at, which is just the hardest route. We're like, yeah, we'll just like throw a goal ball and like catch it on your back shoulder along the sideline, which is just, it's just screens and the highest degree of difficulty possible. The only passes they really seem to give Devonti. But he's amazing. And sake one looks great. And the offensive line's not the same. Like that's the reality. Like they do just feel like a shell of their former selves. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. So it's kind of a bummer. With that said, I think there's actually a good transition here right to, right to buy lows here because we're going to do power hour. And again, for those who don't know, we're going to go through, we're going to put, do I want to put two or three minutes on the clock, when it's all too late. Whoa. Ah, sure. Whatever you want. Hi, if it's two, you call it two of us. We got a lot of names here. Let's see what happens. We'll go two minutes on the clock. Yeah. And we're, we're still auditioning different sounds for power hour. So we're going to every two minutes you're going to hear this sound. It's great. I actually liked it better because of the, ow. I was, because I'm like, oh, this is just like random royalty free tunes. But then the lady kind of going, oh, it's pretty funny. There's something to it. So we're auditioning. We were going to have, we were auditioning sounds. So please, if you have, if you want to make something for us, if you have something that's like funny, your sound effects, anything, let us know. I want to swap out the first name on this list. Can I do that? Well, yeah, I was going to say, we're going to go through by, and again, these are players that were either buying lower cutting bait. These are people that are either really disappointing and being incredibly frustrating. And we're going to go through and we're going to try to figure out what to do with them, whether you should acquire it. Basically, the way I think of it is if you had two teams and one of them you had the guy and one you didn't, would you rather like sell low or would you rather acquire? Would you rather have the player twice or zero sell low or by low? Exactly. But I feel like we got to start the Bears. You want to start with someone else great. Well, I want to start in this game. We were going to have Luther bird. We were prepared to have Luther burden. I mean, I obviously knew that, that he would play great. But I, Luther burden is off the list. I think the window is closed. So I would like to replace him with say one Barclay, who we had as a potential option on this list. We have him dead last. I think it should be first. Say one Barclay has not put up double digit points once this season. He has eight than two than eight. Um, he has two games with basically 80 yards rushing. And then the other game he got hurt. He's not catching any passes. He has three catches this season for six yards. And yeah, I think he looks good. I don't think he looks washed. I think he looks spry. And when the Eagles are trying to run the ball, I, I actually think they've been somewhat effective. It's just that the team kind of falls behind. Do you guys think say one is the best running back you could ever get at a buy line? It's hard to trade for running backs. Yeah. Say one has been legitimately bad. Um, do you think the Eagles schedule, it's not terrible. If they play the Rams and they play the Jags, the, the Panthers, the Cowboys, the commanders, the Giants, like, do we feel like this could get back on track and you should try to attack say one now while you can. Yeah. I, I, I do. I, this is how I explained it last week. And it's like, you're not necessarily buying the vibes. And Philly. In fact, if you want to send the picture of Jalen Hertz and, uh, Devanta Smith just staring at each other on the, on the bench from last night that was getting shared. The vibes are low, um, which is, I guess, kind of the, the norm in Philly. But yeah, you're buying the volume. You know, he had 15 carries in this game. The game got away from him in the second half. I don't know why. I think they will recommit to running the football and getting him the football. He does look great, as Craig said. Early on, he was looking like he was going to have a massive game. Yeah. Um, and then for whatever reason, it just kind of got away from him. Um, but I do think he remains in that elite tier of talent. And I think the volume is going to be there. So to me, he's just an obvious, by the numbers only, he is a by low. And say one, obviously, like, you know, we always use the term home run hitter. And it's like a couple of years ago, you know, when you actually are the offensive lines moving everyone a yard off the ball and you're getting to the linebackers and safeties, you make one guy miss. It's like the home run. Last night, I felt like a lot of balls at the warning track. Like a lot of balls were like, like, you're, wow, I felt like four different times. I think one's going to go 60 yards here. Yeah. The bear is not the best defense. Oh, they're sitting there. There's something to that sound. It's, it's, it's quite loud. It is loud. Like in literal volume. I, the, it's on the, on the note, though, I want to stay in this game too, which is, I want to double down. And we talked about this person last week. I want to double that. I think Colston Lovelin's also a bite-loathe and tied in for the
Bears and maybe it's cheating because someone will be like well you should have scored But I think people are just dumb with this guy and again so much of fantasy football trading comes down to you scroll to the standings who's 0 and 3 and those people of coastal leveling are dumb with them And I think a lot of people are upset you've brought there's a lot of good tight ends this year I think last Sunday really high. There's like 20 touchdowns from tight ends this week. There's a ton of tight ends Like just I mean going like 10 of the top 14 tight ends people were probably pretty happy with Joanne Johnson people have added players that are fine whoever has coastal level is probably already benching him And I don't know if they're going to play him going forward and I think coastal leveling's extremely acquirable and between kingdom and then you know whether it's Tyson Beijing or then with Caleb Williams comes back I think coastal level is going to be really good and will probably be at least like a symbol of Porta going forward I don't think he'll be as good as he was at the end of last season But he's going to be better than whatever people want now and I think Someone it's probably benching leveling for someone better right now And I think you go to coastal leveling and I would do it I'm gonna start a Twitter account called did Bill Simmons trade me Colston Loveland this week and I'm gonna try every week to trade for Colston Loveland because I tried last week and it was a no because he's like I still have faith I'm gonna try again. I'm gonna keep trying. He's a symbol of Porto. He doesn't need Colston Loveland No I'm on defense on him. I think he the underlying numbers are good like he's running a lot of routes Which is ultimately one of the most important things for a tight end. It's just are you on the field a lot? Are you running a lot of routes? I do I mean obviously at this point I feel like the dream is dead that he is the de facto number one receiver on this team Which I think was kind of part of the math Of why he was such a highly drafted player if you obviously that's Glee Freeman if you yeah I mean He quite literally is the number one guy on the team so far and but sure only by all stats and I test But that being said, yes, I think you're you're point where if he had scored a touchdown It would have been a very different narrative right now. Everyone's really disappointed Um, and I think he's absolutely acquirable this offense is going to continue to feature him So yeah That was a better volume. Thank you. Thank you. I agree. I think leveling hold steady go get him That's that that's what we're doing this for you know what I mean You got to be you got to be strong when everyone else is scared Who's the worst player you could send in a tradeoffer for for leveling right now? I just tried travi on Henderson. I just sent it to build now. So we'll see. I feel like that was a pretty good. It's pretty fair a pretty fair trade offer Maybe now Tika who's your who's your top by-loved or week three entering look for I'm sticking strong on lad mcconkey I think look I think mcconkey is a by-law. I know that we're just take it out of the charger It's like in chargers. You're embarrassing yourself live on that flex Okay, Jesus This is a patented Craig ambush No, no, no, no, this is smart. This is actually smart You're embarrassing yourself. Okay, so through we through three of us. You're embarrassing yourself. No, it's actually smart No, no, no, it's good. It's good. Good. I mean when do I not embarrass myself really uh this is mcconkey to me is a by Opportunity of a very clearly talented player and a very good player who I think is the clear cut number one on the team You know we came into the year not really knowing the difference between mcconkey and quint johnson is is quint johnson get a mob mcconkey I think we have the answer to that after three weeks. It's very clearly no like quint johnson is who he is I'm sorry. He's just not very good. He's caught six of his 17 targets this year last year. I think it was more of an aberration Um, and I think mcconkey on the other hand has looked fantastic and basically the thing holding him back is he's been hurt He got a rib injury in week one. He didn't play a full game in that game He didn't play full game in week two this last week. He was back to playing pretty full snaps He played 87% of snaps on this last week. He looked good for four catches for 66 yards I think he's going to continue to heal up from this rib thing and he is their number one receiver He's by far their best receiver and I think he's going to continue to produce when he's back on the field So yeah, I understand like the concerns about the chargers, but I just think glamokonkey is a really good player I grew that everything you're saying my I just I hate players with rib injuries Because it's unquantifiable. You never get real updates. You never know how much pain they're in rib injuries Don't heal during an interval season. I'm going to say like you break a rib you're you're you're living with that the whole season All you so the drugs are constant pain Can't breathe It's like you know what the torridol is far imagine it's so Imagine if you broke a rib and went to the doctor and they're like all right, take it easy Like I'm just going to get I don't know. I'm just going to have like a 360 pound guy run like 20 miles an hour into just like Can we have can we have what's his face not throw him any hospital balls over the middle of the field just Herbert Just protect your your receiver a little bit decay. Would you trade Jalen Warren away for lad mokonkey Yes I think I would because Rico's going to be back I don't really think the offense that we saw from the Steelers last week is going to be the offense we saw a year I think Warren is a good sell high even though I think he's a great player I just don't trust that offense is my is the lesson doing this show every year not to do what bills then sells friend did that one year and just take nine running backs in a row And then like wait two weeks and then just like you're probably That's the tattoo. That's the tattoo. I need to remember if you just take nine running backs You could and just add a quarterback just take one quarterback one tight end to receipt to the minimum And then you could probably just make whatever trade you want everyone right now is like I have one and a half good running backs. I need another no one's literally. It's like hey I'll give you a receiver for a running back and everyone's like, but then what am I going to do it right? It's so true Craig. It's like I've got that I got my RV one. Yeah, fuck my RV two spots I'm starting David Montgomery this week RJ Harvey George Mason's her Travian you're just like dealing with that. It's the worst. Yeah, and someone text you's like can I have your best running back and you're like What the fuck are you talking about? This is all I have in my life right now. It's the only thing I have going on Yeah Okay, I have a guy this is where it gets into is it. I don't know if it's panic cell or bilo territory But I I'm looking at Malik neighbors the receiver for the giants. Okay And this is not because I'm incredibly optimistic But because I think the people who have Malik neighbors are panicking and I think I wonder if it's just terrifying because I honestly Situation's really bad if you took Malik neighbors you either didn't really know about the injury You thought you were smart and you're like oh he'll be fine if he was healthy and there's no questionable He'd be going in the first round and then it turns out that his knee was an issue in week one and John Harbaugh had to basically shame Malik neighbors to play and then a week two Malik neighbors hurt his shoulder and then Jackson dark got hurt And so he neighbors had one catch for one yard and then a week three it turns out Jackson starts out for the season and James Winston gets Malik neighbors 26 yards and now darts out for the year and James Winston's there and now it seems like the giants Traded for Jay to McCarthy and you're like I'm gonna be watching neighbors play with Jay to McCarthy So ever has neighbors I it is really really really bad You could trade you could trade neighbors just on his name alone I feel like people feel like they're getting a great player Hyphids you've watched the giants closer than Craig and I Does he look like Malik neighbors to you not three games not quite yet But I would say I would agree I would say he hasn't really looked like himself This is why we have him lower and it's like because I don't think there was an expectation that he would be a hundred percent back To himself just the name forget everything else until like week four or five at the earliest and so Again, he had the clean-ups procedure in May, but here's the thing I don't think you could get it done for him right now I think people are looking at the Jay Jim Carthie news neighbors and they're like is he gonna throw to him no And like I so the thing I'm wondering is is there a world where you look back and you're like wow that was a perfect chance to buy and here's why Week one coming back from the knee week two dark gets hurt and then week three was literally in an or Easter But that James Winston is still here and that if you have James Winston return to anything resembling what James Winston's been the last five years seven really There's a world where James Winston this week just absolutely Pappers Malik neighbors with like Jerry Judy a top five receiver. That's kind of what I'm going I agree. This is smart. I think I think it's underrated how much weather has played an impact on the beginning of the season more than you I feel like September is usually obviously fine. There's been a ton of rain and heat Yeah, going on for the first three weeks So smart and I and I think the shoulder it basically people it's just buying the dip and again I would not give up a great player for really neighbors like I wouldn't even someone like even Matthew Golden for the Packers I don't I wouldn't give up someone is really performing But I guess what I'm saying I think whoever has neighbors is not playing him wants to offload him for anything It's always hard to throw a specific person, but like I don't know um Are you trading like a because you know, is it going to be a receiver for receiver type trade? Are you trading a running back for him running back? It's always depends on the teams if you have receiver for receivers hard though because you're basically just telling the other person I think I'd rather have the guy you have than the guy I have Exactly. So it's like well, why would I do that that you know? Yeah What do I not know? Yeah, and that's the thing so they I guess neighbors I look at it's an incredibly boom bus player going forward sure It could be McCarthy and neighbors could get re-injured and McCarthy could play and it could be like just a Jefferson last year But I'm like you only there's a chance that neighbors gets 15 targets this week And it's just like back stock is right back up sure So I am curious if I would check it on that person see if they're panicking The ringer fantasy football show is brought to you by fandal welcome to your most rewarding season ever only on fandal How rewarding are we talking more rewarding than an 18 point comeback? So, I want to discuss Jalen Waddle, who, you know, I searched his name on Twitter and I was going through and I saw a tweet from myself. And this is the tweet. Another impressive half for Jalen Waddle, really made his zero targets felt out there. Despite multiple reports that he was kidnapped and held hostage since week one, he is in fact in the game. That was November 3rd, 2024. Time is a flat circle, Craig. In that game, he had negative two yards and a touchdown. Jesus. Remember that game when he had negative yards and a touchdown? To be honest with you, Eileen Sello. Eileen Selle Jalen Waddle. He over three games has had one catch for two yards, eight catches for 138 yards and then two catches for 10 yards. And to be honest, I just don't know if I ever see him being a consistent 1A in the office. I don't see him as like a Garrett Wilson type or like somebody where the offense flows through this person. It can happen game by game like we saw in week two. But I think it is a coin flip every week. And I don't know. I think I think he has. There are people sharps out there who are like still into Jalen Waddle. I think I'd give them to those people. It's so funny because it really is the blurb test is the realest thing where if you want no one's ever made a trade in fantasy, they'll click on the person's name. And so let's say you want to trade like Craig's offering me Jalen Waddle and I click on it. What does it say here on Yahoo? Jalen Waddle disappears again in week three with a game opening. Fantasy managers likely going to have to write out the struggles of this Denver offense. He's like a flex player. This was the fear. This was the fear all off season. He's like Jamie. We talked about it a million. I hope he has a big play. That's it. I hate him. I hate us. And I'm upset that we literally were like this is DK's least favorite coach. It's Craig and I's least favorite player after Cal Pits. And I don't know why we didn't just we should have ranked them outside the top 100. Like I. Yeah. Like if you told me right now, like who would I like, God, like Jalen Warren, I think about it. I have Jalen Waddle on the ringer league. Yeah. Because I'm an idiot. So Craig, you have, I'm not taking him. I mean, you don't want him? No. Sure. I'm not taking you. He just told you to sell him. What do you want? You're like Travian Henderson? No. Uh, I'm trying to look at. Oh, God, you have Michael Pittman, Jesus. What's wrong with that? He's like Jalen Coker? No. No. Hell no. Coker. Uh, no, I know. Yeah. Yeah. Your team would drink me. Done. Where do I side? I actually, I actually do think Drake makes a by-loat. Where do you rather have Drake, Mayor Jalen? Let's do it right now. You think Drake, Drake, Drake, May, make the case. Drake, May, Ramon Trey Stevenson, Travian Henderson, all those guys are by-laws. And again, this is like the league neighbors where I'm not saying they're definitely going to bounce back. I'm saying the, they will be better than four points per game. Yeah. The eye of Sauron. Like if you Google these people, all you're going to, like again, someone's like, "Do you want to give me these players?" And then you Google the players. And then all the news in the world is, I think these guys suck. And it's like, it nothing's as bad as it seems or as good as it feels. And I just think we see the roller coaster all the time in the NFL. Sometimes at a week-to-week basis, we're in a world where the Falcons went from the Cooper Rush Jack Strand experience to kind of rocking the Packers on a Thursday night game. Things change quickly. And I, and both kind of a little concerned for Drake, May's entire career arc. And I also think that he was the second best quarterback in fantasy last year or last year. And whoever has him would, would give it to you for like, slightly two notches above free. And the whole Patriots offense will probably improve. You have to prepare your best. Carson Wentz, we are doing, we're doing the groundwork for you guys on this. I'm just, I'm just, people are paying, again, you need to just, buy low starts with I'm like, you have to, the player has to, people have to regret taking this person. Yeah. People are like, the only way you could get him is if like, if you do like a package trade, like a two for two. And it's like, you're trading for Drake, May and Colston, Loveland. And you're giving away. Geno Smith and T Higgins, like maybe somebody would do that because they're like, fuck it. Geno Smith is the same as Drake, May now. And then you give away a good player and you're begging. I have geno Smith, wringer league. If I offered you Geno and Drake, May, what would you give me? You offered me Geno and Drake, May, what do you mean? You're giving me Drake, May, I don't give you Geno straight up. I would, nope, no, but is there anything else? Yeah, well, you throw in, you throw in Jalen Waddle. Let's do that. What are you talking about? It's, it's bears repeating about the Patriot schedule, Drake, May, schedule merchant last year. And this year it started difficult, right? On the road versus Seattle, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville. The next six games, Bill's Raiders, Jets, Bears, Dolphins, Packers, Lions, things get easier. It's Drake, May. And that's why I think Travian Henderson too, like, Ramonjo Stevenson Travian too. I don't think people are even playing those guys necessarily. And I just think it's, if anyone is your league, again, you watch TV, whatever, whatever podcast TV YouTube, whatever medium you're digesting for football, people think the Patriot suck. And I think the air of negativity will just convince someone to bail on this fucking team. And I think you'll probably make a profit. No, no quarterback has looked worse. Yeah. So I'll say that. Okay. That is, that is a helpful for you if you want to go try and buy Drake. Greg, I have Bryce Young. What would you give me the Drake May for Bryce Young? Who has more points in week one than double, twice the only points in week one statement, total. I need to add things to sweeten the deal to acquire Bryce Young. Yeah, of course. Can you? If I, if I sent Bryce Young for Drake May right now in the ringer league, and I just left the offer there, what would you do? I'm not doing it out of pride or because of, like, sheer pride, emotional or it's just raw pride. I'm not doing it. I can't go down like that. I can't, go down with my tail between my legs. I have to ride fucking through the storm, you know. Go down with the ship. I'm just saying. I'm like, do you think the pages will buy those? Okay. Yeah. DK, who should next by low or something here? I'm here and I'm back to not embarrass myself on on television. Omarian Hampton is a cell. Oh my god, you're pissing down your leg again. No. I'm saying. I'm still the prequel. Sell low. Great. Jesus. I'm making up for the first one. All right. We're going back to the chargers. This one I don't do not feel good about. Get off. I sell. I think. Yeah. It's a bubble. It's a bubble. It's a bubble. It's a bubble. It's on the dollar. Sell. We're yelling at it like November of 2008. It's a bubble. And charges. I just think number one, this, the big difference between him and Makonky is I'm very convinced. Makonky is a good player. I don't know for sure yet on Hampton. I mean, there's times where he looks good, but mostly it's running when he's really fast straight downhill. That's when he looks good to me when the whole is so big that he can't possibly miss it. He looks good. I've been very unimpressed. Yeah. But like digging in past the I test too, it's a three-head monster in L.A. right now in this run game like McDaniel is under fire. There's a lot of people that are really pissed off about how he's doing things. But yeah, Kamani Vidal and Keaton Mitchell are pretty involved in this offense. It's a three-way running back by committee and worst off. And most importantly, probably Hampton is not involved in the passing game whatsoever. He has a three percent target rate right now. He has two catches in three games. And so basically there is a very narrow path towards him paying off what you drafted him for or even being a super useful player. And that is scoring a lot of touchdowns. And I don't know if that's going to happen in this offense. I don't know game in and game out if he's even going to be in near the red zone. And you know, obviously last this last week, Keaton Mitchell got in and scored a touchdown in his first touch. And basically, you need something to change dramatically for Hampton to pay off what you were expecting from him. Maybe there's someone that's still really believes in him or believes in the talent. Maybe the name factor is still a thing. He's a first round running back. Maybe someone's just still believing in this whole thing. But I think you should try and capitalize on that. I just think it's going to be I think he's going to be a really frustrating weekend in week out running back. You know, the beginning of the song. I didn't realize there's also another moan at the very beginning of the song. Did you guys catch that? I didn't catch that. That's like a look-end moan. Oh, okay. I'm not listening again. Double moan. Yeah. Should we play it again right now? No, it'll come back. Don't worry. Okay. Well, so what do you think of this? Do you agree? Do you disagree? If you can get anything resembling what you paid for me in Hampton, I do think like any get no one's going to give you like a first round cost for him. But if you people are paying like he's just starting running back, I kind of agree. I think Hampton's a terrible fit for the charge's offense. I think the charges are probably by-laws because again, they're in the book of like the I don't think the public like we nine. Chargers are by-laws, I think. Chargers are by-laws. But no, I agree that if you can sell even if you can get anything for Hampton, this is starting running back because I don't know if in eight weeks of hearing Hampton, this is starting running back. Yeah. Even if everyone's healthy. Craig, go to your next by-law, sell low. Play your ear to hate. I think you should sell low on DK Metcalf. Craig, the DK.
- KMECF experience has not been captured. - Fantasy or the Pittsburgh Steelers? - Both. I would say, (laughs) DKMECF is like getting a lot of targets, she has a lot of expected fantasy points, ariards, it's a lot of stuff that sounds good in theory, but he can't catch the ball and he keeps committing penalties. - Just one problem happy. - I'm just not sure, like DKMECF seems like a great by-law and it's why he's on this list. But like, I just don't think he's, I just think he's the weirdest fit with Aaron Rodgers and Michael Pittman came back last week and I just think there's a lot of mouths to feed and even though the Steelers schedule is super gettable, I don't think DK, I don't think there's, you should be going after MECF. I would let him do it. - This is, in a weird way, it's like the same way we're in Hampton, it's just a bad fit with Mike McDaniels. I think that DKMECF's a bad fit with Aaron Rodgers, has been the whole time. The irony of the MECF thing is the Steelers, they could have voided the guarantees in his contract when he got into that altercation with the fan in Detroit last year and the Steelers didn't do it because for a variety of reasons, I think they felt it would have been really controversial to kind of avoid his guaranteed money. And now I'll look at it at the Steelers deal and with the MECF and I think fans are really pissed that the Steelers didn't do it because he's just been horrible, honestly. - My dad texted me the other day and was like, did I get a capitulation on this DKMECF thing? And I was like, yeah. - 'Cause it's not like DKMECF's like 32 and he's like, well, he's 28 years old. Like he's theoretically in the middle of his fucking prime. - Right. - And he's just not good and he's not the right fit. If Drew Aller came in and was just ripping passes to him, maybe he would work out, but with Rodgers, it's not the right fit. - Also does not play big, which is one of the most annoying traits for a player like DKMECF. - Right. - He does not play or-- - He plays big after the whistle. - After the whistle he plays big. - That's it. - Where would he be? - Where would he be a good fit right now, do you think? - Not with Aaron Rodgers, would you hear it? Did you hear that, right at the beginning? I missed it. - Damn it. - You gotta look out for it. - Oh listen again. Yeah, I agree. He's just a terrible fit. I will say in my defense, obviously I regret passionately defending DKMECF at this point, but I said from the very beginning, it feels like a very strange fit with the Steelers and it has not played out well. - Almost like Aaron Rodgers taking months and months to tell the Steelers what he would do every year is how to negative impact on the Steelers. - Has it, they're the same every year. - Very well, you know what, maybe the Steelers might not have the top of the Steelers. - Craig is having a great time right now. - Once, they're two and one and they're gonna win eight or nine games. It has, it's had no effect, to be honest. - I'm saying, my Tom and handle Levian Bell in Tony O'Bart Brown, Ben Rothisberger, one year there in Rodgers that motherfucker dipped in starting a Minecraft YouTube channel. - That was 10 years ago when the Steelers were relevant, so you're happy Tom and's gone. - Sure. - Yeah, I thought it was time. - All right, next, next Bilo Sello panic and next player, DK. - I think I'm too close to this, so I want you guys to tell me your take on this. Jadari in price for the Seahawks running back. I think logically, he's a Bilo. Based on his draft capital, he's a first round pick for the Seahawks, the Seahawks other running backs haven't really looked particularly impressive. - Analytically, he's a Bilo. - He is, I think if you take emotion out of it, he's a Bilo because of all the things I just said, and I think they're gonna continue, they want to make him a future part of their offense. He has looked good when he's carrying the football and not fumbling it. The problem is he's fumbled twice. He was in the doghouse in this last game. And the Seahawks running game overall has been really bad. So I know, I think I said it was a shirt on our Sunday show that was maybe just reacting to this fact the Seahawks lost to the commanders back up quarterback. Where do you guys land on Jadari in price? Do you think he is a sell low based on maybe people thinking he's a Bilo? I don't know. Where do you land on Jadari in price? What would you do with him if you had him on your team? - I think he's very easy to go get. And I think for rookies, I would much rather bet on them to get better long-term than focus on a couple bad games. I know fumbling is an issue. He passes the blurb test where it's like, Jadari in price may be falling into a committee blah, blah, blah. There's still just like no other talent in the running room on this team. And so I've been a coming back from ACL. I'm like, when's that gonna happen? I would honestly like, Jadari in price had 0.7 points last week. And anybody who started him is livid. You could probably get him for nothing. It's hard to be able to get a running back for nothing. You probably could with him. So I think I would buy him. I think that's where I agree with Crick. It's just hard to get a running back. And you beggars can't be choosers if you need one. I think the most likely outcome here is that he's fine for the next few weeks. And then at some point Zach Sharban it comes back somewhere between Halloween and Thanksgiving and Sharban and some taking a lot of these gold wine touches that is totally possible. And that it's all frustrating for everyone. But I think the flip side is the explosiveness with price is he probably will get better as the season goes. The issue is-- - It's a parent. I would say he, from the I test, he looks like by far the best part. (upbeat music) It is, I see now the moan on both sides. - I talked over the moan again. - The beginning moan. The issue with Jardarian price is, the fumbling was an issue from in college. Again, he fumbled the first Miami and that kind of was the reason that Notre Dame didn't make the college football play off. He fumbled four times in 20s, final 24 games, three times inside the five yard line. That was at Notre Dame. And I think that is the problem. Three fumbles in 24 games inside the five. And then now he's got a basically Washington beat Seattle in short, because he fumbled a kickoff. So I think Mike McDonald's not gonna be quite like other defensive coaches where you fumbled you dead to me. But there is a limit. And so the problem is the next time Jardarian for his fumbles and gets bent, you're like, now what do you do? And now he's like, yeah, it's a risk, but I think that's why he's available. - Yeah, it reminds me so much of Travian Henderson from last year. I wanna say, at this time last year, we were like, Travian Henderson probably a buy low at this point just because the explosiveness will pay off. They're going to want to get him involved in the offense because of that speed and burst that he has. I could see a committee approach with the Siocs. I don't think the price is going to be a high volume player, but I think he's good enough to make the most of his carries and create big plays and be involved in the passing game and end up being a useful player, maybe not a star player, but a useful player in fantasy. - It was a bad, like the truth is it was a bad pick if the Siocs have a guy who's incredible on early downs and kick returning, but they struggled to play in there 'cause he's fumbling both. And you're like, this was your first run pick and they kind of admitted they didn't even want him in the first round. They just had a really bad run of split picks before them and they couldn't trade back 'cause everyone traded back ahead of them. So it's a weird situation. But again, if the person who has him hates him, you could probably make him acquirable. Craig, who's your next buy low player? - Tucker Kraft for the Packers. I think as a legit buy low, the vibes are terrible. He just shit on his fans and everyone's mad at him, but he did, what did he do? I didn't hear that. - That's a good fan base, the Packers fans booed and I don't think the Packers get booed. He was like, why are you guys booing me? - He was like, he was like, the booing was annoying. It's not gonna help us play better. Like, you think we like hearing that? Like, what's that gonna do? Everyone's like, hey, why don't you play better? It's your job, you're getting paid millions of dollars to play better. - He's also from South Dakota and he probably grew up and they probably have like 30 people in the stands and everybody knew each other. And so he's probably just never been booed. - He literally said, he was like, I consider myself a Wisconsinite green base, the largest city I've ever lived in, which then maybe go down a rabbit hole and I was like, where's he from? He's from Timber Lake, South Dakota. - Yeah, yeah. - What do you think the population is of Timber Lake? - Oh, he's from $2,500. - $2,500. - 300. - 500 people live in Timber Lake. - 500? - I knew that 'cause him and like late in Vandarest, some of these guys, there are certain parts of South Dakota in Montana that the towns are so small they can't play 11 person football in high school. - Oh right. - It's just like nine on nine. And I think Tucker Graff was one of those guys. - But Graff has been terrible this year. He's averaged 30 yards a game. He's a relevant for fantasy purposes. He didn't play a lot week one. And he tore his ACL week nine last year. So he's still kind of ahead of schedule on like recovery. It's impressive that he's even playing. But his everything is trending in the right direction in terms of like how much he's playing, how many routes he's running. I super believe in him as a talent. And even though Green Bay's been terrible, they're throwing the ball a ton. I would totally feel comfortable going after Tucker Graff. He was like, he was like George Kiddles. Like he was like many George Kiddles last year in terms of yards after the catch. And that's the biggest thing that's gone away. He was averaging like 11 yards out to the catch. Last year per catch and now it's like five. But I think things are gonna get better. I think people would be totally okay giving up on him. If you wanted to swap like, I'll give you Jake Ferguson and a blank for Tucker Graff. I think people would do it. - I think that's a great call. And I totally agree with this. - I think I can see that too, yeah. (upbeat music) - Yeah, he heard it. - Did you hear that right? - Right, I just started. - I did, yeah. - These, these like royalty free socks are so great. You know what this needs? This is like Ben Johnson cooking up something in the lab. Just a little amount of-- - That just needs like some woman came in, probably got paid 500 bucks that are probably last. And she just had to go. Oh! (laughing) Don't more. Give me more. - This is, this last one's a little random. This is not as sexy as the other ones, but I'm just like, sometimes all these trades we're talking about, sometimes it's hard. And I just wanted to give at least one player where I'm like, this is acquirable. You can do this. And it's Cortan Sutton for the Broncos. Who's been fine. And it's not sexy. The Broncos are an infuriating team to watch. Cortan Sutton's an enjoying player to have. But sometimes you just have a bunch of injuries and you just actually need someone in your god-dave lineup. And I wanna go and give you Cortan Sutton, who basically, if you just look at it,
expected fantasy point should have twice as many points as he has this season. I don't think anyone, he's at five points a game. But if you watch the Broncos, he's still got it. He made one of the best catches of the entire year in the preseason this year. He's still playing great and Bonyx is still looking to him on the first down, on third downs, Bonyx is still looking to court in the red zone and he's a player that I just feel like is going to have a massive, huge play every other week and is incredibly unsexy. He's was born old veterans that we just look past. He's like a visible to us. And I think whoever has him is like, I don't give a shit. But if you need a receiver, I think you could get him. And it's not going to change your life, but it'll let you sleep a little easier each week. To have his point here, Cortland Sutton, there's a chance like we'll be cut this week by many people. Yes. He might just be able to add him. He is the definition of like a, you're making a trade about other players and you're just like, can you just throw in Cortland Sutton and the person's like, sure. You could probably like send the Texans defense or the CX defense for Cortland Sutton. Yeah. Easily. And it'll all be the Broncos. Man, their schedule is tough. They played the chiefs, Jags and Rams. Now they have the 49ers and chargers and Seahawks and then things lighten up for them. So if you're looking at just the underlying numbers, Cortland Sutton plays 90% of the team's dropbacks. So he's out there the most by far, which again, it's a very important thing in this Sean Peyton offense, this Sean Peyton team, I know he's not calling plays, but the guy who's playing the most is going to have the most opportunities. And we're running into this problem with Jaylen Waddle. He's only playing 77% of snaps. Pat Brian's playing 70% of snaps. They want to rotate guys. They want to get other guys in. You know, they're making Evan Ingram a thing again. It's just like, it's really hard to predict what's going to happen. The one thing you can rely on was Sutton. You guys know that Jaylen Waddle has one red zone target this season and Nate Adkins has three. That's fun. See their fullback? Who's Nate? He's a titan. He's a titan. He's a titan. He's a titan. So it's just a wonderful experience. Okay. I want to just go through it. First, a list of players who I don't think are by-laws, but they've underperformed. I don't want to pretend like they'll just be like magically, really cheap. The players who I think will play a lot better going forward that I would check in with whoever has them, which is Chase Brown running back for the Bengals, who it's really hard to trade for someone's top running back or second best running back. But I just think Chase Brown is not scored yet and will be excellent going forward. He's scored a week one, but like he hasn't been, he had sigiled his points each and less to it. He's just getting like 60, 70 yards a game. That's it. And I just think that I believe in him a lot and I would like someone he's probably going to blow up. He's behind Bucky Irving right now. Can't just text the person like he's the 19th best running back. Give me him like that. That is always annoying. But if for whatever reason that person has a lot of running backs, the other one I'd say is Ted Oro and McMillan for the Panthers. It's always easier to get a receiver. I just feel like he's not been bad. I feel like receivers are easier to get. I think Jalen Coker kind of keeps getting banged up and Coker has been mocking McMillan. But I just think McMillan's going to start scoring in bunches. He's kind of a dominant player. I just believe in the player a lot. And I just think that he's going, this will be the cheapest he ends up being all season. George Pickens who we talked about on the last episode was better should have had the game running touchdown for Dallas. I think George Pickens is probably the last week that he'll be like as cheap as he is. Obviously, a lot of the players who talked about last week, some of the by-laws episode last week, some like Drake London's probably too late. Travis H and I do think played better, but then he got hurt with the hamstring. The other player want to just mention that I actually think it's worth discussing. It's Aston Gentie. Sorry, Aston Gentie for the Raiders. Who on one hand, I feel like is a by-law because he has like seven goal uncarries and it's been hit behind the line of scrimmage six times and he doesn't have a rushing touchdown yet. And like he should have like three. And so on that hand, I wonder if he's a by-law. My hesitation is I kind of worry that he's just a bad fit in the Kubiak running scheme. I think he has this ankle injury has been worsened in week two. And he also, I don't think has the like Mike, like there's sometimes some, this happens in this Shanahan Kubiak run system, or sometimes guys that aren't decisive enough, just are never going to succeed. And I do worry about Gentie's vision in this thing, but I also feel like he's not as healthy. So I feel like I don't know, I'm not sure what to make a Gentie so far. I'm more worried about the ankle than the fit, to be honest, because I agree. He's not like I'd get up the field James Cook slash or style where he like sees the hole in hits and he's more of like a feel things out, levee on bell, stutter step situation. But I don't know, we've already seen him explode. They work him into the passing game a lot. I would still buy on that, but I don't disagree with you about, he might have tweaked his ankle, and that's slightly worrisome. I wish they had like a buy, if they had an early buy week where he could get healthy, I'd feel a lot better, but they don't. The other second he's tied for second in the NFL and catches that running back. Yes, that's the thing. Given the ball a ton, he touches about 20 plus times a game. I will be probably going after him. Part of me thinks he just tweaked his ankle in a week, too, and he'll just get better, or he just will be hurt all year. But I don't know. I feel like one way or the other, something's going to happen, gente. I want to just also just mention the bargain bin. These are players that I think are like borderline free. The only thing attaching the person who has them is just how high they took them and just like a sunk cost versus like the emotions of dumping on a player. I want to just go through of all these receivers. I want to know who you think has the best chance of actually being a productive receiver later in the season. Brian Thomas Jr. for the Jaguars, Marvin Harrison Jr. for the Cardinals, Cardinal Tate for the Titans, Roman, what am I doing today for the Bears? Odds are one of those four players will get a lot better throughout the season. I want to know which one you would actually take. I think I would say a doonsay, even though he did, he, he, he, he bobbles the past like Mark. I mean, man, it was, that was a Nick for sure. But no, I still think he would be the guy that I choose out of that. Not one because he plays way more than these other guys. Number two, I trust the offense. I trust Ben Johnson. I trust the quarterback. Cardinal Tate would probably be my other answer. Brian Thomas and Marvin Harrison Jr. I'm just like out on. I'm like, I don't believe that they're going to get better at this point and not in my heart at least. They may get better. But right now, just like, I'm out. Um, Cardinal Tate. Here's the new team. Period. Cardinal Tate. I'm like, I don't think the Titans offense is good at all. I don't really know if K Mord is good at all. And I just don't trust it. So I would say Roman Dune say to me stands out because he's in a good offense. They're going to score a lot of points. And he's in it with a good quarterback. I agree. Yeah, although that that volleyball set in the end zone was was something I'll probably never forget. It's interesting. The rocket. It can be so easy. You make a mistake. Yeah. Yeah, it's like, you know, it's that catch you're not reacting. You're thinking. And that's when it reminded me of, I think I've said this on the show before, but that there's this good Rafael Nadal doc in Netflix. And they were taught. And it's really good. And his uncle who trained him was talking about, obviously, Nadal was really good on clay courts. And wanted to be a federate Wimbledon. And on match point, he has federate match point in his set. And he hits him a slow serve on the first serve and usually hit your fastest serve possible on the first serve. And he hit him the slowest serve possible. Because he wanted with that all that stuff on the line, Wimbledon championship, he wanted a federate to think like that was the strategy is like, I actually want federate to think, oh my God, he hit it to me. My backhand for five hours. And this is the first one in five hours since my forehand. And I want federate to know that's happening. Because if you can react, it's almost easier. And that I do think that was the room. It's one is, oh my God, touch down, touch down, touch down, it was like, but he waited too long for it. Yeah. Sometimes like when you're playing baseball or softball or something and somebody like lobs you up a meatball, like they underhand toss you the baseball. And it's almost like just as hard to hit because you're thinking about it. It's there. They're thinking in the way. Total tree. Aikman was talking about Keenham with that. Again, one of the best place Keenham had was that like the sneak they did where the two guards pulled. And so they did like, you know, the trick place quarterback sneak basically. It also snapped at it zero seconds on the play clock. And Treyekman was talking about that in that situation. The nuances of quarterbacking that aren't rocket science, but you never think about it. He was like, you don't want to get in the huddle too early when you're wasting clock. Because maybe in Madden, you can just call a play and wait there. He's like, but if you're the players, you don't want your lineman or everyone just sitting in the stance like, you know, horses in the Kentucky Derby, everyone just sitting there for like 30 seconds. Yeah. Ready to go. Like it throws everyone off to be there too long. Yeah. And it was like a really good point. Never thought about timing the play call if you want to wait, waste clock because you can't have everyone just sit in there all the time. Yeah. Aikman's great. Aikman's gotten so much better when stuff looking caring, whatever one thinks of them like the players. Yeah. Okay. Sorry, the only person who I mentioned is Colonel Tate because this happens every year where there's a rookie receiver that sucks in the beginning and everyone's mad at and then is better in the second half. And I think that'll be Colonel Tate this year. I don't know if I want to play him for the next four weeks, but I do think eventually Colonel Tate will either be acquired for nothing or cut. And then from Thanksgiving on, he's probably going to be incredible. And I just, I would start inquiring about Colonel Tate, but I wouldn't play him yet. Okay. Ring her fantasy football league update. Everyone is two and one or one and two. Okay. I lost a Chris this week. You did. He had a, he played a, he played a good game, good, clean game. Sam Darnold was his quarterback in that was what beat me because Sam Darnold had a big game. irony. It's kind of hard to swallow that, but yeah, is that the worst one to combo for you? Where Darnold throws two exceptions to the CX lose, but plays well enough in fantasy that you lose to him and fantasy. Yeah. It's pretty tough. I am still in first place, though, to be clear. And I'm in second. If it's the only, yeah, if it's lost to shot, both of you guys lost and I won this week. So we're all three of us. You're two and one now. Bank of Craig is making a comment.
big cock Craig is kind of grinding out wins like the Browns like I'm a two and one but an ugly two and one doesn't matter. Devon Kay Adams has literally hand delivered me two wins and back-to-back week. So I'm in love with that man. I would do anything for him. And yeah, really gritty win for Bangkok Greg. I just saw that Bill added for Nando Mendoza. Why did Bill add for Nando Mendoza? You know, just getting ahead of it. The BS Express. They got to win this week. He's out of the cellar right now. It's David Changan in last. Yeah, Changan's in last. It's almost like taking Kim Little in the eighth round. It was not a good idea. Wait, let me see how Kim Little's been. 12 points, 8 points, 5 points. It's almost like it's random. But he had the most points. Solid. Loki. Salas in second to last. We got to turn Salas Team around. I know he's out of this. And I'm playing Bill this week. He lost 8chan. That's tough. Yeah. Oh, Salas kind of fucked. Yeah. Wow. Damn, Sal. All right. Well, I'm out of the slide. It sounds DMs. Okay. Fantasy Court? Yeah. I think Fantasy Court's in session. Definitely don't tell anyone about this thing that you're doing. I don't really want to be handcuffed. The definition of an object is a material thing that can be seen and touched. We went back to the classic. We could not. We can't not have Craig saying it's a definition of an object. But Craig, tonight is still when it's dark, right? Yeah. Somebody tweeted me. I don't want to read this actually, because this is really funny. This is from Nick on Twitter. And he tagged me and said, I saw an opportunity to define night in my family group chat and I took it. And it's a family group chat. It says, when are your plans not until 730? So what if we did like four works for me? And then this guy Nick said evening. And it's legitimately my bedtime. And somebody said, dude, that 730 is late. And then Nick said night. Somebody said, when does it officially become night time, not evening? And Nick said night to me is when it's dark. In the wild. In the light. About the lie. Oh, that's great. Okay. So this fan is the court. This is from Noah. Noah. This is, I think this is family court. Oh, especially the subsection of fantasy court. So Noah, breakfast, Facaccia toast with pasta, tomato, fried egg. That sounds great. Okay, fancy. Wow. Facaccia toast to have more pasta, tomato, fried egg. That's a man. All right. So Noah writes, I've emailed about this league before. But the too long don't read is it's a family league with my wife's family, including nieces and nephews, who vary in age from 10 to like 19 years old. Okay. And we've perpetually had issues with some of the younger children in the league, dropping good players and tilting the balance of the league. So much so this generation. I know, fucking Gen Z alpha screw things up. So Noah says so much so that there was a discussion in the offices about kicking the kids out of the league. There should be a kid's table. Yes. Yes. But instead we landed on the parents would help the kids manage the teams. Okay. So the conversation was facilitated by my brother-in-law. Who is the commissioner and clearly wanted to kick the kids out of the league. So the commissioner's stance is fuck them kids. And so fast forward to this year after week one. And the youngest member of the league who I believe is 10 years old, drops Chris O'laven. Okay. And the commissioner saw this happen on Saturday morning. And the commissioner sends a message that basically asks if he should return Chris O'laven to the to the kids team. Problem is the commissioner sent this message in the ESPN app on that little message that nobody's ever checked. No one's reading that. No one's ever checked this message. Yeah. So after nobody responded to this message system that nobody checks in the ESPN fantasy app, the commissioner picks up Chris O'laven. And it's been playing him on his team ever since. No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. He sent some message on the ESPN app. So we have a group chat that the commissioner could have messaged. But he chose not to put it there. And Noah writes, I think that instead the, no, no, writes in Noah's opinion, the commissioner chose to ask the question in the ESPN app. So nobody would see it. But then if anyone accused him of this, he would have cover and say he did in fact communicate it to the league. Shady. So Noah writes, we need a ruling. Who gets Chris O'laven? The commissioner, the child, or nobody? Give it back to the kid. This is the easy answer. This guy wanted to kick the 10 year old out of the league and the 10 year old drops a player he can get. And he's like, ah, it's actually fine. He's taking his lunch money. It's thinking Chris O'laven from a baby. No, that's like taking a candy from a baby. No, I think, I think commission's got to, got to own up to this one. This is, this is hilarious that he used the ESPN app to like message. It's like, oh, you remember what I told you there was, sorry, the 10 year old's not reading the ESPN message board. Do you remember I told you that Jackie's old work leaked from a few years ago? One of the people in the league slid in her DMs, but it was the ESPN fantasy app DM. Oh, yeah. They slid in the DMs in the ESPN fantasy app. I remember that. She's little. Do you know my husband does know how to use this app? Hey, I really, I just want to say, I really like your team. Good looking team. You got there. Your RVs are deep impressive. Sorry, your man's told you to draft Colson. Loveland. Yeah, I'm glad you guys agree. I couldn't, I couldn't, I kind of can't believe this commissioner just took Chris O'laven from the 10 year old guy. How did the, I will say though in the commissioner's defense, how did no one else add Chris O'laven? I think because the kid caught him on like a Saturday night. And I think he cleared waivers in like one day. I think is what happened. I mean, that is kind of on the rest of the league to, uh, but it's not, it doesn't matter who got Chris O'laven. I mean, it's it's worse that the commissioner did it, but it's like, you either got to kick the kids out or not allow the kids to drop their best players as you can't, you can't have neither. He sends, he sends a message in a bottle to the league. Guys for it. Should, should we do something about this? Otherwise, I'm going to add this player. That's hilarious. That's the most technicality bullshit. Legally, technically, it was true. I, I faxed it to you all. Did you not get my fax? Is your fax not connected? So to carry your pigeon, sent a raven. Oh my god. All right. You guys want one more? Sure. Yeah. That was an easy ruling. I didn't even swear. Yeah, I was, we got, yeah, we got energy left here. Uh, this one is, oh, we can stick in family core or we have, we have another one about punishments. Let's go with Kristen. Kristen. K-bone or C. No, K-bone probably. K-bone. Yeah. Kristen, one of the seven. Seven. All hail. Kristen, current breakfast, oatmeal with dice apples and cinnamon. Let that cook together. Top with vanilla, creek yogurt, chopwall and nuts. Mix it all together. You got fall in your mouth. Damn. Say that again. I gotta write that down. Cooking oatmeal. Apples down as a classy move. Dice apples, cinnamon, cooking that together with oatmeal. Top with vanilla, creek yogurt, chopwall nuts. Mixed all together. Oh, that sounds really good. That's like a dessert right there. That's like, that's a bed and breakfast in New Hampshire. Kind of. Kind of want to get that tomorrow. You got the red, like leaves, the orange leaves, all the colors. And then she also has something called a shot in the dark, which I guess is a black off. We've two shots of espresso in it, which is fucking Dan Campbell level shot in the dark. She make that up. That's a cool thing. I don't. It's pretty great. This person isn't advertising. Kristen, it's working. It's working on me. Yeah. Uh, Kristen says, I need your help with a very serious fantasy football commissioner dilemma. Okay. Kristen says, I'm the commissioner of a fantasy football league, made up of friends who all met in a kickball league. As one is want to do. Yeah. Our fantasy leagues been going 10 years. And for the last five years or so, it's been all the same people for five years. Enter Vince, AKA calendar guy. Oh, Vince. Oh God. You were. Kristen writes, Vince lost our league two years ago. And his punishment was to do a 12 month calendar photo shoot. And when I tell you, we committed to this calendar, every league member picked a month and came up with a theme for Vince. We bought him outfits. We bought props. We bought literally everything. We brought it to the kickball field for his upcoming photo shoot. And yet still have no calendar. Now Vince has plenty of excuses along the way. Like, I had a kid. I'm so busy. I'm renovating my entire house. Blah, blah, blah, blah. And listen, Kristen writes, having a kid legitimate excuse for being busy. But also it has been two years. And at this point, the calendars are running joke in a friend group. Someone else had a baby recently, captions it, not sure how old my child is because I don't have a calendar. And it brings us to last season's loser, which was to wear a pooh, the punishment was to wear a pukonech shell necklace for an entire year. And now that burns a such a long time.
- That's honestly, that catches you a little-- - A chest hairs. (laughing) - I feel like Pukashell necklace was terrible when I was, that's like cruel and unusual punishment right there. - When I was a kid and I was going to Hawaii with my family for the summer, I was like the 11 year old that would wear the Pukas necklace. - I have pictures of me in high school where Pukas necklace is. - But it would catch your hair sometimes, like oh, it's so painful and I'm like, I don't want that now. - I don't know what kind of 11 year old you were, but I didn't have any pictures of that back then. (laughing) - Well, damn, a year, okay. So as this person who lost last year, we're still wearing the Pukas necklace? - They're not wearing it at all, glad you asked. They won't wear the Pukas necklace. - There's a break down and discipline. - Because the Vince hasn't done the shoot for the calendar. So, at the beginning of the season, Kristen, the commissioner, tells Vince that, well sorry, no, Vince tells Kristen that he doesn't feel right playing the league again 'cause he hadn't done the punishment. So Kristen agrees and says, yeah, do the punishment you're in. Vince says, all right, I'll do it. So he let him in. And then September 23rd, he hasn't done the punishment. Vince came to an in-person draft at Kristen's house, that hosted him in her home. Fantasy season begins. Still, no, calendar. And because of this ordeal, there's a future rule that now from now on, if you don't do the punishment by August 1st, you're just out of the league. Period. - Yeah. - Now that will be the rule moving forward. But Kristen writes, what do I do with calendar guy? And most importantly, how do I get my goddamn calendar? - You got to give him like a two week notice or something like that and lock his roster once that two weeks is over. And he won't start anyone, he's just going to lose again. - But that everyone loses, 'cause then if you played and lost him in a week two, and then someone gets to play him in week five and his roster's unupdated, then that person's got fucked. - I think unfortunately you let him play out the season, he's just not in it next year. - Yeah. - Maybe if he wins the league, he only, you don't give him the money. - He has to make two calendars if he wants to stay in the league as a sign of goodwill. He needs to make two calendars for every year. And then, but I agree that if he doesn't get the two calendars in, he's out of the league next year. And this is the rule going forward. - Yeah, I think that's right. - So you have to like hire a photographer to do the printing himself, like how does that work? - I think they'll take the pictures for him. - They will. - Okay. - It's hard to get people to do these punishments, man. - It really is. It's like the one of the hardest parts of fantasy football. It's like, people are just like, I'm not doing it. I'm just not doing it. - And it sounded funny at the time, I'm not doing that. - And then you're like, well, I'm not gonna kick my friend out of this league, like he's my friend and we're friends. And so you kind of end up just having to eat it. - You can't kick a fellow kickball player out. - And then order breaks down and everyone pulls apart because you wouldn't do the thing. The fabric of this league is unraveling you guys because you won't do this calendar shoot. - I think you have to do like little in season or like kind of punishments where it's like, if you don't do the punishment, you're automatically last pick in the draft. Or it's like, you get less fab than everybody else. Like you make their lives worse slowly by attrition, so that they're eventually just like, all right, screw it. I'll do the punishment. - Yeah. - I don't know, you know? - Agreed. - You're right. - Start docking fab every week. Or start docking points every week. And they escalate. So you lose 10 points this week if you don't do it. You lose 20 points next week if you don't do it. 30 the next week. - Send like a big scary Italian man to his house and be like, hey. - Break his knees. - You like your thumbs? - Yeah. - Like in the chair company. - That's right. - Tire iron. - I can't wait till that comes back. I love that. - Okay, other emails here. Thank you for fantasy court. Emails fantasy court's ringer fantasy football gmail.com will resolve your group chat disputes. And emails trivia questions as well about whatever the hell's going on in the show. Okay, a couple of things. A lot of emails about law firms and billboards and all these things, but I do just wanna say one. There was someone Nick sent in an email. - Nick. - Subject line was just best law firm name and it was just a picture of a law firm. And the law firm's name and it looked like the strip ball and like, you know, better call Saul, like Breaking Bad. Like that level one. And it just the curky law firm's name was Wolf Hooker. - Wolf Hooker. - Wolf and Hooker. - Two words or one. - Not Wolf and Hooker. - His name's Wolf Hooker. - Wolf Hooker. - Oh, his first name is Wolf and his last name is Hooker. Or those are two last names. - I don't know. - It's just Wolf Hooker. - It really gets you thinking though. - Sure. Wolf Hooker sounds like one of those names, like those fake TV shows from 30 Rock. It's like bitch hunter. - Coming up after Wolf Hooker. - Ouch, talk about dixicle. - Wolf Hooker, baby. - That's good. - It's got a two last names, right? - Well, I'm looking. - Wolf Hooker. - Well, now I'm seeing it. - It could be a first name, I feel like. - Wolf Blitzer. Is Wolf Blitzer's name Wolf? - I don't know about what is Wolf's name. - Wolf Blitzer is his name. - Well, his name is Wolf Blitzer. Wolf Isaac Blitzer. - Is he German? - What is that? - He's born in Germany. - Okay, that's so awesome. - Wow. Wolf Blitzer's kind of an all-time name. - It really is. - Wolf Blitzer. - Wolf Blitzer. - Wolf Blitzer. - And he's a fucking news anchor. - Kind of like first round pick for this names. - Good evening, I'm Wolf Blitzer and here's tonight's news. (laughing) - Pretty wild. - Hurt enough, you're hired. - This is just incredible. He's also just looked the same for 20 years, but not in the way other people do. - Right. - He was already old, but in any state of the way. - Yeah, like he's 78. I feel like he's been 65 for 40 years. - We call that the Gene Hackman. (laughing) - All right, Wolf, we'll take other great names. All right, the rest of these emails here. So this is our final episode of '80s month. This is the last episode coming out in September. - Damn, really? So I know. - It went by so fast. - I know. - First of all, I have to read an email here from Chris. - Chris, see-bone. - See-bone writes in from Boise, Idaho, but formerly of Bellingham, shout out to Pell Menys. I don't know what to do. - Oh, hell yeah, I had Pell Menys on Sunday. What's that? - It's Russian dumplings, it's delicious. It's like the, it is the number one, at least it was for a long time. I don't know if it is currently, but the number one place to go after hours after the bars close. Go eat the Pell Menys. You know, everyone's in there, you play records, they play music, it's great vibes. It's awesome. - It's been around, it's been around for literally, I don't know, 30 years, it's crazy. - Nice. - So Chris writes breakfast today, leftover eggs that my toddler did not finish in a double shot of espresso. - Nice. - So Chris writes, in 2017, my dad suffered a stroke. Thankfully fully recovered. - Excellent. - However, for a few days following my dad's stroke, my dad thought every song that came on the radio was by Wang Chung. - Wang Motherfucking Chung. - The brain works in mysterious ways, I tell you. - I wish everyone's song was Wang Chung. - That's the funniest side effect I've ever heard of. - Caution. - Makes everything sound like Wang Chung. - This medicine may make every song sound like Wang Chung. - He thought every song was by Wang Chung or he thought every song was the Wang Chung song that we were singing. - Every song that came on the radio, he thought, "Oh, this is by Wang Chung." He's like, "This is a Wang Chung song." And Nick writes this song. - I can't believe that this is in real life. - The pathways in his brain were, they all led directly to Wang Chung. - Everything leads back to Wang Chung. Chris writes, "It didn't matter if it was AC/DC or hauling oats or train." Didn't matter what, my dad's always like, "This is Wang Motherfucking Chung." - Oh my God. - It's the brain. - I didn't know what was happening. The doctors didn't know what would happen. And the doctors would come on each day and check on his, "How is the Chung condition progressing?" - So wait, now he can tell the difference between Wang Chung and other stuff though, right? - Yes. This was dinosaurs. - I like, I like, I like, I like, they're playing him like Mozart, chapel-roan, "Sweeney Dawn," and he's like, "Ping Chung" and he's like, "Ping Chung" and he's like, "Wang Motherfucking Chung!" - He played in the club by 50 Cent. He's like, "Wang Chung?" - Dude, that is crazy. - Dude, this was three full days. - That's wild. The brain is fascinating, I'll tell ya. I love that the doctors are just as confused by this as we are too. They're like, "Yeah, it's weird." - They're like, they did a study on this. He's like in a journal now because of the Wang Chung condition. Yeah, so I just, that would, that would be amazing. - It's like, you've heard of face blindness, where you can't recognize people's faces anymore. It's like, this is like music. It's so great, music blindness. Everything's Wang Chung. - Talk, he has a case of Wang Chung syndrome. - No. - No. (laughing) - No. - Oh, that's so funny. I'm glad your dad's doing better by the way. - What does he have? - I can find the video of Bill saying Wang motherfucking. - Although it would be pretty funny if that was a permanent side effect. I'll be honest. - Yeah, it's just like everything about him is completely fine. - He's totally fine, except for every song is by Wang Chung. - He's like, "Tvivio." They're like, "What is this song by?" - You gotta count your blessings in that case 'cause that's not that bad. - No, you know, there are worse things. - Wang motherfucking. Chung. - Yeah. (laughing) - Let's listen to the song. - Get you going more than this, fan. (laughing) - Chung, yeah. - What else in the space? - Is that even get you going more than this, fan? - Come on.
- Oh, that's right. - Wang, Motherfucking John. (laughing) - To live and die in L.A. Good movie. - Everybody, Wang Chung tonight. - All right, the same meal here is from Luke. - Luke. - Elbone. - Breakfast with sausage, egg and cheese, croissant, hash brown, creotine cocktail. - What the fuck? - Go off. - What is a creotine cocktail? - Water, Baja Bat Blast-flavored creotine, and then Diet Mountain Dew. Oh my God. - Jesus Christ, how old are you? - I swear, with creotine and protein flavors, they just like don't care. It's like cake batter and caramel swirl. And you're like, right, yes, that's how I'll start my day. - T and T diet, T and T diet re-explosion. - He's, he's watering down Diet Mountain Dew to get his creotine. Let's get this guy's 18 years old. - This guy's absolutely attacking leg day. (laughing) - Luke has a suggestion. He says now that 80s month is over. He says, "What about Lady Banger's Month?" I've been listening to kids by Meredith Brooks on repeat lately, Rips. And we love to hear you pull. - I'm a bitch. - I'm a lover. - How did that go? - I'm a bitch. Yeah. I'm a mother. I can't remember the words, but that's good. - So I wanna hear Craig dropping some Joan Jett, Pat Benatar. I want DK pulling from the 90s scene, no doubt, et cetera. - No, yeah. - Something more modern, maybe, you know, whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Off with head. - Yeah. - I think this idea germinated from Robin and dancing on my own, I'm not sure. What do you guys think? - Oh, that's a good song. - I don't see emails. - E-mail us at ringer fantasy football gym in La Conde. We want suggestions for-- - If we can call it Lady Banger's Month, that's great. - E-mail us more ideas, suggestions for October Music Month. But with that said, thank you, DK, thank you, Craig. Summary:
FAQs
Case Kingdom provided effective time management, made accurate throws, and executed creative plays like the two-guards pulling away from the quarterback. His style contrasts with Caleb Williams, offering a more deliberate and scheme-based offense that led to key plays and touchdowns.
Loveland has shown consistent route-running and is a key part of the Bears' offense, even though he missed scoring opportunities. His volume and involvement make him acquirable, especially as his role is likely to grow in future games.
Malik Neighbors is currently struggling due to multiple injuries and inactivity, with limited targets and poor performance. Most analysts view him as a risky, panic-worthy pick that may not recover in the short term.
Waddle has had inconsistent performances, with negative yardage and low target volume. However, he remains a flex player with potential for a breakout game, making him a low-risk pick for fantasy managers looking to capitalize on volatility.
Jadari Price has shown promise in carries and explosiveness, though he has fumbled multiple times. His limited targets and poor performance in key situations make him a risky but potentially valuable trade option for teams with running back needs.
Drake May is seen as a high-upside quarterback with potential in a strong offense, despite current struggles. His long-term value is supported by his performance in previous seasons and the team's improving schedule, making him a strategic buy low pick.
