I survived nine months in captivity, and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart, and these are the survivor files. Every week, I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable, abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced. These are stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with the Elizabeth Smart on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. If you're a bookshelf and you're a four-year page or equally important to your personality, welcome home. Pro Society is a weekly podcast that's part book club, part group chat for anyone who thinks pride and prejudice and love island deserve the same level of discourse. Each week, we're connecting the dots between books, the internet, and pop culture. With your favorite writers, book talk creators, and plenty of overthought opinions. Listen to Pro Society on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, this is Hayes Davenport and Sean Clements. We host the podcast, Hollywood Handbook. Each week, we talk to someone in show business and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us. Everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, Adam Scott, Danny McBride, Ben Stillert, and a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us. Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose option B. I'm Julie Pinero and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility. Listen to Solita on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Our hometown is not a test tube. 90 miles northeast of Nashville, a battle for the future of America plays out in one small town. Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land. We need cities on a shining hill. This is our town, a podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment and fights back. I guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies and I'll do you. Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey guys, welcome back to Better Have. We have been waiting to film this episode. We wanted to be in the most perfect mood, the most perfect vibe because today it's body to body. This is our grab a cocktail, have a fun time with us. We are listening to your R-rated questions and we are going to give you our advice, our reactions and we don't really know what's going to happen. Everyone who's listened to these questions before us has freaked out a little, so we're ready to sip our vodka soda. I personally, I'm scared a little bit because you know, my family listens to this, so I don't know. I'm drinking to see if I will open up a little bit. What did I make you today? What's in your cup? So today we have a vodka soda. Classic. Modeled cucumber. Modeled cucumber and lemon and lemon and we brought back our old, old friend, Sunny vodka. She's still breathing and kicking. Sunny! Woo! We brought her, we brought her back. She had spider webs. When I was moving, I found cases of Sunny, so we are stocked up in this house. We had to dust her off a little bit, but she tastes fresh. Let me tell you. And that will be another episode's discussion. Yes. Okay. First color. Ladies, I'm literally obsessed with both of you. My name is Ellie. I live in San Diego and I honestly was just wondering what your drink of choice is when you go out. Genuinely, I need something new. I used to take a lot of pineapple when I was back in college, but like, can't do the calories now. Obviously. I sometimes will do like a ranch water, but like I'm kind of sick of it. So I just need to know what both of you love. I'm obsessed with both of you. You're both beautiful and literally like, I look forward to you guys posting every single time. So I also have a podcast with my older sister and we're trying to get it up and going. It's been so long since we posted, so I just also need a little bit of motivation about that. So I'm also drunk right now because it's single to my own. So sorry about that, but literally obsessed with both of you and if you have any advice, I would love it. Thank you. Ellie, why didn't you leave your podcast name so that we could have listened to it and told the viewers about your podcast comment down below so we can know what your podcast name is. I want to just say before we answer any questions, I have never heard a sexier voice. Ellie, her voice was sexy, wasn't it? It was good. Like, you know, I can tell like that voice was sexy, honey. So yes, we need the podcast because I need to listen to it a little bit more. Oh shit. Give her a few sips of a cocktail. Let's be honest. Oh my god. What's going on? Okay. I would say my drink of choice is this what we're drinking today. We drink, we are very, we get very, we get extreme hangover as these days in our life. So we keep it so clean, so no sugars, no fun. Like the funnest we get in our bod casotas is muddling some cucumber in it to add another flavor. That's it. But same bod casot element always, Carter loves to do the tequila version version of it. So he loves to do the cucumber muddled, but he'll admit sometimes I think that's good with tequila since you said you were a tequila drinker. I just can't drink tequila anymore. Like, when I lived in Trinidad, they called me Mrs. Cuervo. Because I would drink tequila like no other. But now it's so triggering and I just can't do it and the smell takes me back to the times where I was. The times. A blackout mess. So I don't drink any more. Did we know Mom? We told them the story about when you broke your nose right at my birthday when we finished. Yes. That was tequila night. When we finished 47 bottles of 1942, between like 50 people. Sick. Everyone had a bottle basically. It was like insane. We've done what tequila and we're done. Maybe like in 20 years from now we can resurface it, but for now we're about to grow. You know what I do like that you should tap into a whisky sour, a whisky coke. I love whisky. It's like a different type of drunk. But you like it with the egg white now. I don't care. Yeah. And why you name it, put it in front of me and go drink it. And go be drinking. I'ma drink it. I love a wine. Wine makes me like, I had her at C's days. And then I get flushed. But about your podcast, get back in the recording studio girl, it's like, it takes a lot of energy to sit down and record. And sometimes we'll be like, we're like not in the mood fully. But the second you get in there and you do it with your sister so I'm sure you guys have a fun dynamic. A fun dynamic. Exactly. Once we sit down and we start filming, we have the best time ever, like it's so much fun. Get goals of being consistent, like once every two weeks, you don't have to start once a week. You can do once a month, you know, and then keep going, you can add it. Keep it up. We're like, save up a bunch. And then you can like, yes. Yes. Some as you please. Yes. Some more. Yeah. Love you. Love you. Hi, Stas and Vic. My name's Alex. I'm from Miami, Florida. And I have a quick question. What's something toxic that you secretly love in a relationship? I am currently in a relationship going on two years now. Because my boyfriend's very, very calm, extremely calm and I'm way more feisty and very spicy. I am Cuban, fully and, you know, I'm just, I'm just a girl, but I definitely have my moments. And you know, whenever he's quiet, I kind of want to fight back, you know, it's like give me something, give me some energy. So yeah, I love you girls so much. I know it's a weird question, but I just want to know. So love you girls. Oh, my God. I love you. And wow. Does that not sound so fucking familiar? Come in. Oh, my God. It's like I'm listening to the mirror. Like I have never heard something more. Me. Yeah. Victoria. Yeah. I mean, I agree. I'm gonna smell and feisty and I want the fight. And I'm drunk. I'm like, get jealous. Like, yes. And I told her, why are you not jealous? Get jealous. Like, and I told her sometimes I'm like, I'm flirting with the guy right next to you. Like, and, you know, I'm joking. But I get it. Sometimes we're like that. We like, we need the passion today. They used to call me, "Dogsika." They used to call me that "Dogsika." Like a few years ago. I don't really do years ago. They used to back in the day, called me "Dogsika." Donnie, I was lucky.
like I just like I don't know I just love the toxicity but in the health is very possible yeah like not like real like it's just like for the bit it's just funny and you know I just I need the entertainment you know I get it so how do you get the entertainment now well like today don't it's like why are you picking a fight I just it was our because he left on a trip today like he was at the gym for so long and I'm like at the gym like when I say the gym it's like our garage wait there's like three weights okay and I'm like it shouldn't take you this long I know he only works out for five minutes he'll be like done okay so I'm like he's been there for an hour he lives through the airport and I want to spend quality time and I'm like what like why are you still the gym like at the gym why are you still the gym like you should come inside and then he's like babe and he's looking at his phone I was there for 25 minutes and I was like it's very like it felt a lot longer but I don't know I just think it's fun sometimes to like think a little fight with your boyfriend over nothing if you end up making it you know good at the end yeah I don't mind I'll be the best advice because I love a little toxic moment yeah because my boyfriend's very calm too because he's not toxic at all I think if he was toxic it would it it would be not and that's what she's saying that yeah my friends also because your because your boyfriend's also probably super calm we can be toxic it's girls because we're girls and we're cute and we're cute and we're just joking we just want your attention a toxic boy no no no you can now say that so it's a basket we don't want to open whatever the same basket it's a wicked kind of worst yeah well yeah we love you I hope you stay fighting okay stay toxic stay toxic stay toxic hi hi from New York this is Amanda so I think the last time I watched or listened to one of your podcasts you were like oh next time let's see like a fun do like a tipsy oh my gosh I was like oh I got a record now this is the perfect time it's single a mile I just got back to my apartment and I'm tipsy I'm like perfect time okay I'm gonna make this real quick I guess my question is how to deal with insecure men because I actually just ended something with this guy who I found out was even more insecure than I thought invited him basically real quick invited him to like a bar like after a baseball game he showed up saw guys around me and my friend and lingered for an hour saw me there and then left and then I was like well it was up with that because like well I just don't want to bother you with all those men around you okay insecure how do you deal with insecure men or like spotting the insecure men versus the other ones I can feel your eyes I can feel your eyes the stage is yours mister how do I want to word this mm-hmm how do you deal with an insecure man you don't sorry you leave them because no one like an insecure man all they're gonna try and do is dim your light so they shine brighter because they're so insecure that they that they don't want you to be brighter than them that makes sense so you just don't and you can't there's nothing you can do you can't make someone feel secure in themselves you can do everything in your power and believe me I have tried to make someone feel secure in themselves by how much I believe in them mm-hmm but you can't like that's something that they've got to do internally and that's okay and they're gonna be on their own journey and you're gonna be on your own journey and just know that when you're with the right person they make you shine and they make you feel good and you never have to dim your light yes absolutely I just think obviously we have my my example is this super-secure boyfriend Donnie is so secure that man don't get jealous because why so that's why she gets invited exactly he's he's like I feel I'm so secure in a relationship and how I feel and and he's like he always says I am so secure in the guy that I am like I know what I who I am and vice versa so he's like he's never jealous and I think I was thinking like if I was at the bar and if he walks into a bar and there's guys around me you walk right next to me yeah right I'm not here yes be funny and you know how big I mean yeah you're hot what can I say yeah like I would be like fuck yeah all these guys want to talk to you but you're mine and you want me kiss me mm-hmm and then like you know but you gotta you gotta I can't we can handle it's honestly so unattractive I think the older you get you will I don't know how old you are respectfully but the older you get the old like the more you realize how you don't want that whatsoever right like whatsoever you know a calm non-toxic secure loving sweet humble man man man man a puppy you want your own puppy daddy daddy helped out works leave him leave his ass hi stossin thick so my question is about dirty talk during sex so my boyfriend is foreign he's from Italy right and English is not his first language but he really knows that I love dirty talk during sex it's like my favorite thing but because of the language barrier sometimes the direct translation can be a little bit off and sometimes like while we're fucking I'm like laughing in my head like oh my god that sounds so stupid when you say it like that no I mean so sometimes the translation is like a little walkie and I don't know how to tell him that without hurting his feelings so I need a bad to help me out help me girls okay I love you why why are you pointing at me it's probably you I actually don't I actually don't and I also speak great English he clearly has a thick Italian accent like I'm just laughing at her being like I'm like I'm like I'm like I'm like she's laughing at him she's probably like they're like trying to be into it what it is like I like this again oh what like what you need to be like I don't know what you could do there I have no idea I was just I would hope that he's a secure man and you could be like hey babe like I don't like that word I don't like when you say that phrase yeah this phrase like doesn't translate like the way that you're thinking maybe say it to me in Italian because that's not yes yes do the dirty talk in town yes and then you can make up whatever you want him to be saying yes you know it doesn't matter yeah yeah then you can use your imagination girl go wild I think I'll speak to you in Italian yeah that's a really good advice honestly he should just speak in Italian stay with your last advice ever I think we can wrap this episode I need to kind of know what he's saying yeah throwing you like I really need to know I would yeah that's the place I need to know DM the better half I won't be able to sleep without knowing and tell us like how it translates and what he's trying to say that was really funny thank you for calling hey this is Dave and Port and Sean Clements we host the podcast Hollywood handbook on the big money players network our show is extremely accessible to first-time listeners each week we talk to someone in show business aka the biz and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show we've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman not that great I actually can you help me can can you help me shape this yeah how about we flip it on his head how about we flip this around okay how what is the surprise one man who actually you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird Adam Scott love this entire time you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show I would never let go of that I have you would never set expectations for something like that it sounds like if the universe allows for something like that to happen I am open to I'm always going to accept you know Danny McBride fine yeah solve this fragile masculinity exuding I could smell it walking on the hallway to be honest with you as I know that I was exactly no it's fragile masculinity yeah Ben stiller no because a lot of times in out of context people don't get it or even know what a circle is you know what I mean like you're like oh it's so stupid around everyone's so dumb and fake right fake and and also not interested or just like oh I've got my life I don't care about your life and a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us oh and by the way Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show and he wants to be a guest on every episode but he's just so busy listen to Hollywood Handbook on the iHeartRadio app Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcasts on the new podcast solita we share the messy reality of traveling alone
as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus, or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose Option B. I'm Julie Piñero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people, and they were like, "You smiled at us, not a lot of people smile around here." It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is, and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to solita on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If you're a bookshelf and you're for you page are equally important to your personality, welcome home. This is Pro's Society, the weekly podcast that's Part Book Club, Part Group Chat for Thought Daughters, Pop Culture Obsessives, and anyone who thinks pride and prejudice and love island deserve the same level of discourse. I'm Eli Rallo, and every week we're connecting the dots between books, the internet, and the conversations everyone can't stop having. I'm gonna have to look up this story. I'm obsessed. I'm obsessed. From bestselling authors and your favorite book talk creators to the latest pop culture moments, nothing is off the table. It's like if you can hide some real messages inside compelling characters and that is a Trojan horse. Whether you're looking for literary deep dives, smart pop culture conversations, or a community of readers who love to think a little too much, you're in the right place. Listen to Pro's Society on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. See you between the pages. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived, and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. You just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying, "Shut up, don't say anything." Every week, I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up, without a doubt he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed, and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced, but these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right-wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and epilepsy. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. "God need that to rule! Great!" and decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. I guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, baddies! My name is Ashley and I just got out of a five-year relationship maybe about like two months ago and I've never been one to like hook up. Like random hookups just scare, you know, the shit out of me. But I'm looking to have some fun in this single era, but I don't, first off, I don't think any man is worthy, you know, to get it. But I kind of feel like I should have fun. You know what I mean? But there's scary men out there. Also, how are we meeting these cute men who, you know, I would kind of trust, you know, go back to their house? Obviously, after a few dates. But like, how does one do this? I'm such a relationship girly and I'm just scared and nervous, but I kind of just want to like have some fun. I don't know. What are your suggestions? I love you guys so much. And do you every single week? Okay, bye! You know what? I don't have any advice for this question because god damn, it's really hard out here. It's hard out here. We were just talking about it. We also have that weird thing where she's like, it's like a little bit of ego where it's like, I don't want to have sex with you because I don't want you to be able to say that you've had sex with me. Exactly. Unless you, I know you deserve it. Because like she said, men are just not worthy. They're not worthy. Most of them, there's like a point in zero, zero, zero, zero, one. I'd rather be doing myself, purchase. If I was single today, I don't even know what I would do. I would force my friends to go out with me to like places where you can meet people. Oh, you would. I always say we should go to bars, especially when Donnie's one of us tonight. Donnie's at a town. My extensions are not cut yet. I will give you a nice blowout when we leave this room. I would go to like a cute little bar restaurant lounge where, wherever you live, wherever you live. I don't, I don't really know. Were you grocery stores? Sometimes people have many other grocery store aisles. I don't know. It's tough. It's really dating apps are scary. I think it's a bunch of scammers. I think the best chance you have is through a mutual friend being set up. Yeah. Like being set up in some sort of way. Right? Yeah. I told you we have no window. We're not going to have good advice on this. If anyone else has better advice, comment down below. Please let us know. Please because because we don't know everything. Because we haven't been actively dating in so long. Personally, like we both are relationship girls also. So yeah, I feel like I find a boyfriend and I kind of stay with him. Stas, let's be looking for him. She wants one. We don't, we don't, we're not, we don't know. We're not for the streets. No more. It's been years. It's been years. I wish that could be for the streets, but we can't, but like where, where do you go? If we leave to New York, we would be with a gay man. Oh, they hate. Oh, they put out in New York and we fell in love with all the gay men. The hottest man I have ever seen live in New York City. Let's go. We love you. Let's go. Jack. Jack. Jack. Anyways, yeah, go to New York City and find the gays. Yeah. And you will fall in love and they won't break your heart. No. You have a love under marriage. It's in these days. Hi, Stas and Vic. My name is Isabella and my question is what are we doing about birth control? Because I swear to other trying to kill us. Every form of birth control has some sort of downside. They're all bad for you. And if you don't use anything, then you get pregnant. And I'm too young for that right now. So what are we doing about that, ladies? What are we doing? We love birth control, Vic. I've never taken birth control. So like, I think I took in high school, but you know, when you forget to take the damn pill and now we just be like, oh shit, it's Thursday and it's been since last Sunday. So I kind of stopped because I was just so bad at taking it. I've never been good at taking it. So I have never taken birth control consistently, like for more than like, maybe like a week. But right now, like if I get pregnant, I will keep it. So I don't care. She plays the risky game. So I don't really care right now. But if I was young, what will you do, Stas? Well, well, you have something. Yeah. Yeah. Well, you have us. I'm thinking. Tell me, I have an IUD. I'm actually on my fifth year of having it and I need to get it taken out and get anyone in and I'm so, so scared to do it. I had endometriosis and I had to have endometriosis surgery and they put my IUD in for me at my surgery and I was asleep. So you're scared of what the pain? I'm scared of the pain, but I have to do it soon. I have a book for when I get back. You will survive. She has the strongest, the highest, high tolerance. So I think if you have the laughing gas, yeah, yeah, you should be okay. But I like having an IUD for different types because I would forget to take the pill. And I don't have to think about it. And for me, my IUD, like, I don't know if this is like necessarily a good thing, but like I don't really get my period. She doesn't. She hasn't got her period in five years. Okay, I spot like once a year or something. Okay. I like that. I don't have to think about it. And it can just. But there's different lines in there. There's one that's there. I have the Kailena one. And when I change. Kailena. When I change it. That's like Kailena's name. She was from like somewhere, but it's where I like, oh, here's Kailena. That's like what Ariel could call her, you know. Sorry. Kailena. There's Kailena. I have the Kailena one, but I'm considering getting the copper one. So the copper one is nor no hormones. So if that's something
that like, let me say, it's not giving you hormones, it's not giving you hormones, you're it's kind of, it's kind of like, kind of, kind of, yeah, I don't know anything about birth control. Yeah, I don't really know much. I just know that I have the IUD and it, you do what your guy knows and it's your advice. So go to your guy, you know, ask for advice, ask whatever, yeah, ask all the questions and it, it's based on whatever works for you. I know there's like ones you can like put in your arm, that one scares me, like there's all these different types and I think depending on what works for you and what you're until and do that. Yeah. But consult with your kind of color. Yeah. I've never taken risk. Taking risks. Hey, Stassenvik, keeping this one anonymous because I don't want to out anybody, but I have a crazy story to share about my ex on her one year anniversary trip. We were staying in a hotel up north and he ran out of the room to go and get some snacks from like the little shop downstairs and I had had an inkling that this man was cheating on me. Like it was just intuition. Like I just knew. So I decided to go through his phone because he left it behind. I ended up finding grinder on his phone, found out that our entire relationship, he had been meeting up with men talking to over 50 men on dating apps like Grindr and he also had Tinder on his phone and he had been just living this double life. Um, I don't really know like why I'm sharing this, just really needed to vent. Wow. Wow babe. Wow. That's a tough one. It's okay if he wasn't ready to be out as by and like not wants to share that side, but that's one thing and there's another thing with being in a relationship with someone and completely being like being unfaithful and cheating on them and living a double life, that's what's not okay. It's fuck. Whether it was with a man, whether it was with a woman, it doesn't matter, the cheating, the lying to you, the being unfaithful, that's just not fair to you. And he left his phone on purpose so that she saw it, so she finally saw it and the secret without him having to do the revealing. Hey, girls, I recorded this before, but I don't know if it went through or not. I think it was just my wife by bugging, but recently I've been dating this guy for a couple of months now and we did backdoor stuff, you know what I mean, but now he's kind of just mentioning wanting to do more backdoor stuff when we do, you know, the deed and it's going to make me uncomfortable. I don't know. That comment, I feel like he likes it more than the front door and I don't know what to think of that. Ugh, I don't know. Why obviously? Because they're like a tighter hole. Man, like a little tight little hole. We're also like not backdoor girls. We're not backdoor girls at all, never have been, never will be for other reasons. I will explain later. Maybe if I feel comfortable with my audience. But I think what I've heard about men talking about the back door, it's like they like to feel this is gross, but they were like, it's like we own you, like the last dominating thing. It's like, oh, you are mine. Oh, the only thing going up bigs asks are fucking hemorrhoids to relieve from the pain of a hemorrhoid. Nothing else. Prepeach, I'm down for a deal. Give her a fucking commercial. Come on, Prepeach. Sweetie wants that door is open. You open that door. You open that door. You open that door. That door. And now, of course he wants more. A man. And if he's a man. A man is a dog. You can have a conversation with him and tell him that you're not into it and that it's you can do it on his birthday. Yeah. Or you're wedding anniversary, you're going to have to just tell him like, hey, that was fun, but like this cannot be a, this is not an everyday occurrence. It's, it's, it's horrible, and it's painful for me. It's not fun. And you know what? Good luck to you. I wish you the best of luck, because I, for me, the ass is a no go. No go for the ass. No landing strip here. So, please, no, close. Blue it shut. I'm not even pooping for that. Hey, this is Ace Davenport and Sean Clements. We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook on the big money players network. Our show is extremely accessible to first time listeners. Each week we talk to someone in show business, aka the biz and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us. So a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, not that great. I actually, can you help me, can you, can you help me shape this? Yeah. How about we flip it on his head? No. How about we flip this around? Okay. How, what is the surprise one then? Well, actually, you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird. Adam Scott. Love. This entire time you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show. I, I would never let go of that. I have. Yeah. I would never set expectations for something like that. If the universe allows for something like that to happen, I am open to it. I'm always going to accept, you know, Danny McBride. Fine. Yeah. It's all this fragile masculinity, exuding. I could smell it walking on the hallway to be honest with you. I was like, I was like, is that what you need? Nope. It's fragile masculinity. Yeah. Ben Stiller, no. I think there's a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is. Like, you're like, oh, it's so stupid. Everyone's so dumb. And fake. Right. Fake and, and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life, I don't care about your life. And a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us. Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show and he wants to be a guest on every episode, but he's just so busy. Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the I Heart Radio app Apple podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. I just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up, don't say anything. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people, and they were like, you smiled at us, not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. So whether you're a solo travel veteran, or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Our town is small taters by most standards, right, but to the people who grew up here, it's everything. Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple etchum, but they weren't just planning houses. Stop right there. Is that normal? a podcast about what happens when a
a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. - God need men to rule, great! - And decides to fight back. - Do not use my hard work to sell your bull (beep). - They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. - Our hometown is not a test tube. - They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. - Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? - Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. - So you're with your men for seven years. You have a great relationship. And he has a daughter who's 18 from his previous relationship. - And you are cool with the ex-wife with a girl's mom. - But you go to the 18th birthday party of his daughters and accidentally get you drunk and end up cooking up with the ex-wife/mother of the girl. - Wait, wait, wait, wait. - What would you do in that scenario? Because when you first told your man he was cool with it that night, but then the next morning was actually livid because you had definitely the ex-wife and big mom. - Big mess. - So that's crazy. So how would you get through that? - And would you get through that? - Right. - That. (laughing) - Whoa. - Uh. (laughing) - It's like stredo, stredo party. (laughing) - She's like in the club with the ex-wife, like, mm-hmm. - Yeah. - What she said. - Tell them, yep, yep. (laughing) - I mean, does that crazy? - I mean, does the plot twist? - Does the husband and the ex-wife like each other? And were you into the ex-wife as more than just a hook-up? Because like, there's plug-me. - Right. - Right. - What if you guys all raise the 18-year-olds together? - Okay. - Wait, hold on. - Or kick her out of the house. She's 18 now. - Hold on, so you guys all move together. - Wait, hold on. So she's been dating a guy for seven years. - She's been dating him for seven years. - And he has a daughter? - He has a daughter and an ex-wife. - And she hooked up with the ex-wife. - But did she break up with the, no, they're together. - So she cheated on the husband? - She cheated on the husband with the ex-wife. - Oh, sweetie. - He's going through denial right now. - This thing, what's it called, this thing? - He's like, what? - The stages of grace. - Yeah, he's like, he's going through them, right? He's like, what happened? - He was like, first, he was like, it was hot. He was like, damn, yeah. And then he's like, wait, hold on. - Wait, what is that? - Yeah. Ooh, I don't know. I mean, that's so, that's so crazy. - That is something we have no experience in. - Yes. - But I wish you all the best. - And if you guys all love each other, then we'll try it out. - Yeah. If you, I don't know, can you get through that? - Let us know, let us know. - Let us know. - Just keep out, keep working through it and then. - You want a couple's therapy? - Yes. There's a new show, there's a show in Amazon Prime. People like, couples therapy. There's also the one with Oscar Isaac. - This is an actual therapist with actual couples. - Really? - Going through shit and she sits down and they talk through problems. Oh my God, I would love to watch. - Hi, Stauce. Hi, back. Holy obsessed with you guys. I have kind of a little crazy story that I had my son. The other day, I was, you know, giving some guacluck, 3,000 to my boyfriend. And fully sober mind you, I fully threw up on this man. Like not like a little bit, like I mean full, blown puke. And I was literally so embarrassed, they did not know what to do. And I'm still absolutely mortified. I have not had sex with him since. And like, what do I do? Like, I mean, he said it was fine and like tried to laugh it off, but it was like literally the most mortifying thing ever. And I'm still so embarrassed and it's been like a week. So how do I recover from this? I love you guys, hi. - Maddie, you need no recovering from that, by the way. Let me tell you. - What can you do? - Nothing, I think he's the one who was putting something down the back of your throat. Like what did he expect? - I think he, like if it was, like I just would be like, it would be like a laughing thing for a second. And then that's Ed, it's over. - Don't not think twice about it. - No, no, no, no, no. And back to regular programming. Nothing's happened, oops. - I threw up cause I had a (beep) down my throat. - And I was full. Like, okay, and I was full of it. Something came up. - To me, like, sorry. - Fine, I won't give you, I won't do it anymore. - Okay, sure. - Go ahead girl, not boy. - Do you want to make me feel bad? - I hope he's not making you feel bad. - Hopefully, I think it's just her being traumatized on like the moment cause she's embarrassed, but like it's no big deal at all. Some people poop their pants. - One thing, you're fine, you're fine. It's nothing but like a little accident. - Yeah. - I wouldn't be embarrassed. - I would just keep it moving. - Be confident in it, be like, yeah. - Okay, so what, okay. You're gonna be a pussy about it and laugh and make fun of me, okay, pussy. I'll go find another dick. (laughing) - Just kill them with kindness and with like, - Continuous. - Continuous and confidence. - Hey, it's Dustin Vic. I want to see your advice on what you would think about one of your girlfriend's constantly texting and being in a private text conversation with your boyfriend. For context, I met this friend of mine only last year, but we immediately hit it off and became really great friends really quickly. And then maybe a month ago, I introduced her to my boyfriend so they've only met in person like two times, but they're constantly texting back and forth and they have a lot of banter. And sometimes she sends like screenshots of things he said in their chat into our bigger group chat. And I don't know if I'm like looking to deeply into it or not, sorry, let me know. - First of all, let me tell you. - I am so close with Donnie, Victoria's boyfriend. I think me and Donnie have shared maybe like 10 texts back and forth between us about me asking him to send me clothes later, mainly about clothes. - And me and Victoria and Donnie have a group chat - That goes off. - Where we go off in the group chat. But I text Donnie when I'm texting Victoria and we'll laugh, we have banter, we have funny conversations, but it's the three of us together. - I would absolutely run away from it. (laughing) It's literally giving like-- - It's giving Laura and-- - That's the name? Sierra from Summer House. - Sierra and Wes from Summer House. No, no, no, no, no. And Amanda, don't do it. I don't like-- - I don't have any of that. - And even like Donnie right now, he went to Hawaii for a bachelor like extravaganza weekend. And I'm not kidding. Like three of his friends would text me with Donnie in it. - Yeah. - Donnie's son burned. Can you get him some sunscreen? They would always just text me random things, but always taking a group chat. It's like the respectful thing you do when it's a friend's boyfriend, like I just never, it's weird. Unless you on the boyfriend have even best friends since like you grew up together and you've been friends with way before. - But they said, 'cause she said they don't even, they've been friends since twice. - Nope, nope, nope. Like they have a more text relationship than a person relationship. - That's very weird. I would say, peace out. - That's weird, yeah. - Nope, you're not, I don't think you're over on a license and I think it's really weird. - I would definitely say something. - Yeah, I would say something to your friend and say something to your boyfriend. - But first your friend, what the fuck is she doing? - Yeah. - Look the fuck up. - The screenshots in the group chat. - That's so weird. - Like within all the other friends knowing that she's texting, like I would be like. - I would be like, I would call her out immediately. - Yeah. - Like what the fuck are you doing? - But is no one else calling her out in the group chat? - Right. I have more questions. - We, yeah. I think we have some problems. - I think they're both weird. That's really, really weird. Red flags. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. - Oh, all around. - So no, no for us. - My name is Ashley. So my crazy, like outrageous question is, do you think it's weird if you like have a girl tonight, oh, and then at the end of the night, you just eat your friends, (beep) or is that just insane? Like, I don't know how close you guys are, like, have you ever, like, maybe like, don't, if you're one of your friends, do you think it gets weird after, or do you think, like, you know, we're young, let's just have fun. - Do you wanna take this one? I mean, we have never had an experience like that. All we've done is make out what we've made out with all our friends. - Yeah. - I love making out with our friends. - I personally, like, I just don't, I would have, I don't know how to go down there and like, do the thing. - Never. - It didn't happen. It's never happened. And I don't know, but I don't think it would have changed things if I think. (laughing) She's saying, like, would have changed the dynamic. I don't know. - I don't know. - Because I feel like a lot of our friends that all the girls who we're friends with, I don't think that's ever happened. - No. - That we know of. - That we know of. - That we never know. - Yeah. - Right, we're born doing behind closed doors. - Yeah. - Can't be. - Nothing, no, you never know. - None of our friends go down on each other. - No. (laughing) - But if you did it, - No, that's what I love. - That's what you like, girl. - Yeah, if you're into it and you're open to the experience. - We're young, whatever, who cares. - Then who cares, yeah. - We're older. - We're pro-experiences. - But we're just very straight women. - Yeah. - So. - Yeah. - That's for us right now. - Yeah. - At least we're not in 2026. We're straight. (laughing) - Okay, podcast, 30 years. - I am a bi-sexy. - I am. (laughing) - I am so happy right now. How about one?
I will husband and a wife. Like, that husband and the wife. Oh yeah, look at me. I'm good. I'm polygamous. Hey, Stolson Vic. So I have been going through and been in a situation ship with this guy, really, like since December. So it's like almost six months. And it was definitely kind of inconsistent in the beginning. But it's getting a bit more consistent now. He slept over my place a few nights ago. He's coming over again. And I got out of a long-term relationship back in July. He got out of-- a mind was a six-year relationship. He got out of a three-year relationship in October. So we met on a dating app, and he said he wasn't looking for anything serious, like in his profile on there. But we're kind of like playing pretend boyfriend, girlfriend, and I don't know where things are going. I don't really know what I want. I'm scared to get into a relationship again. I don't know what he wants. I'm scared to bring up a conversation about it and ruin things, because we're just casually doing things right now. And I don't know, but I also am catching feelings for him. So I don't know what to do. Help. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I'm girl. I mean, the catching feelings is valid. Yeah. And I think I wouldn't put so much pressure. I was just kind of like-- I saw this-- It's become more consistent, but maybe not-- I don't know. I saw this video, though, and it was the guy-- I forgot his name, Penn, from-- From Gossip Girl. It was like this tick-- It was a podcast he did. And he was saying, is it ever casual? You're so intimate with someone. And you think, oh, it's just this fun, flirty thing, and whatever. And it's like, is it ever really casual? The most intimate thing you can do with someone else. How is this so casual? And I just think it's bound to happen to where you catch feelings with the person, because you are being so intimate with one another. And I think that there's a way for you to go about it in a way where you might say, this is fun, but you're also a human that has emotions. And if you're comfortable enough to be so intimate with someone, you should be comfortable enough to have a conversation with them and be like, hey, I don't really know what I want. But this is the feelings that I'm starting to have. And just tell him, I don't want to ruin where we're at, because I genuinely don't know. But obviously, this is something that brings up other emotions. And I would just be super honest with him. And if you can't be honest with him, then maybe he's not the right person that you should be intimate with. Yeah, you changed my mind with a reference. That was a good reference, because that video is true. I see the video with the background some play. It's never casual, though. It's true, I mean, just be honest, tell him how you feel. And you don't have to know how you feel. But she said it's just now starting to get consistent, right? So see how it keeps-- See how it goes. See if it remains consistent. And then I'm sure he probably feels the same way towards you if it's consistent, because-- Yeah. I feel like a guy's consistent if he's like-- Because he also could be thinking the same thing. Like, he could be thinking, like, in his brain, like, oh, she just got out of a relationship and she wants to keep it casual. But like, I'm consistently doing this with her. And I like her and I'm scared to say something, because I don't want to fuck something up. Right. You never know unless you have a conversation. And honestly, being honest, never-- Backfires. Never, right? I feel like being honest is best. Well, because if you're honest with how you feel and the person doesn't reciprocate your feelings, then you're done and it's over. And you don't have to go through any more time, go through pain, wastey chat, like, it's just-- Yeah, if you're honest and he doesn't feel the same, then you're not wasting time, but you know what it is. And then you could decide how you want to move forward. Exactly. If you continue or not. All right, guys. That is all we got for today's episode. If you made it this far, you fuck with us, happy. Now, honestly, this was one of my favorite episodes to film. We've had so much fun. I am drunk and I am laughing so much. I never laughed at it. My face hurts. I'm so sore from laughing so much. I wish we could do two baddies a week. If you guys want more baddies, let us know. They're so fun. You guys are favorite. Yeah, and please continue to submit and call. Even at parties, the call in the middle of the club. At the club or in the bathroom at the club. Oh my god. Yes. Honestly, this gave us years of life. Of life. So, yeah, don't forget to call. Don't forget to subscribe. Don't forget to like, comment, all of it. If you have better advice to some of the questions, please comment. Because the ones that we couldn't answer, we need some help. We would like to know the answer, too. Yeah, we want to hear your baddie advice in the comments. Yeah. We didn't even look at the cards once. Yeah. We didn't even say minute. Let's fuck the cards. Lens is like great. I printed those for the day. Oh my work. I did. OK, we love you guys. We love you. We'll see you next week. Yeah. Love you, leave me. Love you, leave me. I choose option B. I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first.
