The following podcast is a deer media production. Welcome to RealPod. It's your host Victoria Garrick Brown and this is the podcast where we hold nothing back. Oh, so we're getting deep, huh? I really cried for 12 days straight. Why do I want to be perfect? There's nothing in my life that is perfect. Every week I'll bring you honest, unfiltered and eye-opening conversations to help uncover the real in all of us. I crave the type of content that you're talking about. I actually felt insecure. Oh, my God, I'm like going to cry. Let me just unload everything. New episodes every Wednesday leave those filters at the door because it's time to get real. Welcome back or welcome to RealPod. Welcome to RealPod, everyone. We're overtaking the studio. This is your host, Aubrey and Natalie. Let's get around. You know what I was thinking about before we started recording today. I was thinking about how in the prior years I've had to like stare you guys down to like toss it to me to ask me what my goals are. So I actually, wait, I was cracking up about that earlier today. So I actually love it. We're just so funny. The initiative that you're taking right now to lead is really giving me comfort. Wait, I was literally making like a little charcuterie board so I can eat while Aubrey's telling us her goals and I was reminiscing on past years when you'd be like, awesome. Thanks for asking. So for mine, I'm looking ahead at the New Year. I know literally. I had Max on for a Christmas spectacular. Don't ask. A week ago. I go, so what were your holiday traditions growing up thinking it's going to be like a light hard episode? He's like, well, you know, at like eight o'clock, we'd wake up. And then my mom and I was like, okay, no one cares, babe. It's like real quick. And then throw it back to me. I didn't ask for all this trauma. All right. Let's just throw it back to me. Speaking of trauma, wait, first of all, let me intro the episode for everyone listening. Hi, guys. Welcome to the bod. Oh, is this like we're, we're included. Yeah. I was like, Oh, yeah. This is just, this is playful. I would like to include this for those tuning in. The regulars know this is the annual New Year's Bestie recap with OBS Natalie. We're like four years running. I think where we will give our work and personal goals for the coming year and we will reflect on the work and personal goals we set in the year past for those who are returners. This is a, this is a fan favorite episode. I hear about it all year long. People love it. So thank you, OBS and not for joining me to do this. And now circling back to the trauma. I looked at the goals I set last year and was like, I don't know her totally forgot about those. Well, I'm excited for us to kind of go through or your goals. Should we do like a goals through the years kind of postmortem like Aubrey and I started on this podcast as plebians. We started as just like fans of Vic and now we've grown our own followings. We've sold our, we've sold our souls. Wait, so true. I think the first one you guys both worked normal jobs. Yes, we did. I had to like run this through my HR department and see if it was okay to be on real pod. I think my goal was to like, I don't know, lease more office space. You did have something like that at one point. Guys, that's kind of crazy. Though those TikToks blew up about the fact that the three of us are best friends and creators. It is crazy. I always say there's something in the water at our high school. Like how does that happen? Yes. Something in the water at our high school. And Aubrey, as you know, we will be raising our kids and sending them to the same high school and competing against my will. Aubrey's always told me she's not going to live in our hometown growing up. And if she does, like, I'm literally, I'm going to have so much foam out. My mom looks like we're literally dudes who never left their hometown. We're going to be like back at posh bagel just like, my guy, what is up? Like no, no growth whatsoever for a little context of our hometown. The third time I took wood there, he was like, hey, can we maybe try a different restaurant? I was like, oh, this is it, but, you know, this is all we have. You're actually like, we're from like the boonies of Ohio, like we live in Silicon Valley. I know, but there's literally three restaurants on Santa Cruz. That's true. That's also Aubrey. My bit about Aubrey is that she doesn't like to explore like if it ain't broke, don't fix it. She'll find a place that has a good quesadilla and just go there for the rest of eternity. Unless it's freaking Dory and try new places and we have to just convince her that that restaurant's terrible and we simply can never go back until the restaurant actually closes down mysteriously. And finally Aubrey stops dragging us to that restaurant. Aubrey's always first in last out at the restaurant. And by that restaurant, it was super first in last out. It was they're they're they're literally wrecking balling the front door. You're still like standing your ground, like holding a hotel. It was only good when we went at night and got like the happy hour, a little drenchy snacks and drinks, but we let's be real. It was never good. It was never good. There were drinks with Flintstone, like gummies and it was all strange. Um, well, who wants to go first? I mean, I don't want to start on too much of a high because I hit all my goals, but I guess I'm happy to go. I just I don't want to make it about me. My work goals and shout out to Jenna for sending these. Wait, Natalie. First, I want to give you last year's we're going to reflect Natalie's 2025 work goals were to hit 200,000 pay on LinkedIn. Did we hit that? Done and dusted. We're looking at a LinkedIn top voice, you're looking at a girl who any life event happens. I'm posting. Here's what it taught me about B2B sales. The content's getting a little stale for me personally, but I it's still working. So smash that subscribe button on LinkedIn folks and you will get some okay content. It won't move your career in a certain direction, but it will maybe bring you a smile. It's not getting stale. I think it's getting a little spicy. I'm liking the more playfulness we're bringing to corporate Natalie. I know. Ron she Natalie. We need to sunset her. She's a little bit too confident. And I got a ring on my finger. I'm all the sudden thinking I'm invincible. It's like, let's stop using the F word and make some actual jokes. So speaking of the ring, a personal goal was to get engaged. So bang bang on both categories. Another personal goal was moving together and build a home life with fiancee. Check check. Yes. Check check. We have a beautiful little life here. We're down the street from Aubrey actually, I could see her from here. And I love our little life. We have been traveling pretty much the entire year, but we set up some Christmas decor, which made me feel just like a good, I don't know, home maker. And I was really proud of that. So there's like a hundred nutcracker. We just went all nutcracker. There's nothing else. It's a little spooky, but it's something that I'm happy. I love that. Yeah. So engaged home life. And then this third one, I was excited to hear your reaction to this third one, continue. And I quote, continue becoming calmer and more grounded, carry forward the personal growth. She started this year. Wow. Yeah. I think that might have had a little touch of Chatchee. I don't, I would say calmer and grounded aren't the words that, you know, someone would use to describe me when they first meet me or when they know me. And immediately as my bridesmaids on this call, do what do you guys think about that? I'm curious. I think you've gotten calmer. I think you do a lot, but I think your overall aura has calmed down a little. Really? That feels so good coming from a wit. Thank you, Aubrey. I would agree with that. Like, you're so busy and you're so, I don't know how you are actually calm and relatively grounded with everything you have going on. Like, it doesn't make sense to me. I think I'm always, I'll always like fill my plate. I have these conversations with my mom, my fiancee. It's like even if life were to be easy, I would make it hard somehow. Like why just live a fun life when I could be miserable and stressed and wake up in two glass every morning, you know, seem like you do it with ease though. So I don't know what that says about you, but thank you, thank you. I'm dying inside, but that means a lot. And then yeah, the other, I mean, I guess on the work goals, launch a work where a clothing line did that at the beginning of this year. That was huge. It's exciting because I didn't know what to expect out of that. It became this moment in my career that people still reference as like that's so cool that you launch that clothing line. Or I still wear that, you know, blazer that you release, I literally just did a closet clean out and was like not getting rid of the CN 12th tribe, white turtleneck short sleeve top because it's so chic. So good. Thank you. It's a capsule wardrobe. So I appreciate that. That went well. And then we kind of the biggest thing was just like expand our team. We brought on a content specialist. So we now actually have three full time employees establish a clear company culture. Maybe still working on that. It's so hard when the whole company revolves at least right now around my face on the corporate Natalie side. But I think I want to continue to grow the team. And it's not fair to the broader team to be like, my values can't just be your personal values. It needs to be like ingrained in the company. So always an ongoing thing we're working on. And that is awesome. Yes. Like that is literally so badass like major. I mean, you wanted to expand with one person. You hired two more people. I mean, you are like literally crushing. You literally have your own well oiled small business. It's insane. It's a small business. Like in terms of personnel, but it's a mega business in terms of like what did I call it? I was going to say it's like feels wrong to call it a small business like the people say like San Francisco, they're like open AI corporate Natalie LLC kind of the big hitters. No, but thank you. It's fun. It's it's crazy. I've learned so much. I brought on Annie, my first employee and she's now. So much more than that, my brand manager, friend, everything in between and we were working out of my like tiny first apartment that I had in San Francisco, like together in my bedroom. There was no office. I remember begging you to get a new apartment because that I couldn't even imagine how you were doing everything in that room. Your desk was in your bed, essentially. It was on my bed. Yeah. I just sort of like put my legs through the post. Yeah. So we've grown. Well, what a 2025 for Natalie accomplished all of her goals major. Thank you. Of course she did, though. Of course she did. Thank you. I actually, yeah, I had Jenna rewrite them to make sure I had all done, but we might need a fact check. Okay, here's the thing about being a gift giver. When you find something truly perfect for everyone on your list, you almost don't want to give it away. That's what happened with my Quinn's order. Everything is so soft and well made that I'm like tempted to keep it all for myself, but that just means I know that my fan who I'm giving these gifts to is going to love it. I have so many things from Quinn's now. I have Quinn's cashmere sweaters. I have Quinn's sunglasses. I have Quinn's shoes. We just actually ordered some Quinn's decorative bedding. I'm really excited. So that's still on its way to me, and I ordered a few colors because I'm not sure what's going to match the best with our bedroom. Then I'll return whatever doesn't work, but I'm so excited because the Quinn's decorative throws and pillows just look so gorgeous and I really want to mix it up on my bed for the new year. Also, the best thing about Quinn's is that they work directly with trusted factories that maintain high standards for both craftmanship and ethical practice. And by cutting out the middle men, they cut out the markups. So Quinn's is able to pass those savings straight to you, and you can get things like Mongolian cashmere sweaters for just $50 when you'd normally pay $200 or more. So fine gifts, so good. You will want to keep them with Quinn's. Go to Quinn's.com/realpod for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too, that's Quinn's QUINCE.com/realpod to get free shipping and 365 day returns. Quinn's.com/realpod. Realpod is brought to you by Crunch Master. They have been a trusted gluten-free brand for over 20 years. And you probably already know they're a legendary multi-seed original crackers. These are so yummy, so crunchy, so satisfying. They don't compromise on taste, texture, or nutrition. And they are made with wholesome non-GMO ingredients like rice, sesame seeds, quinoa, and flax for a naturally gluten-free crunchy bite. So look for Crunch Master at a store near you and keep your eyes extra peeled for the rosemary and olive oil flavor because that's your girl's favorite. So find Crunch Master at a store near you and happy snacking. I'll go to Obs. Obs, I have yours for you. I feel like I missed the prompt last year and I kind of just did one. My work last year was kind of really confusing for me. It was stay true to yourself while also leaving room to grow. I think I did that. Okay. Tell us how. Let's see. Or go or personal goal. She combined. This was just like, this was my overarching goal. Like I think I've just been with one thing to focus on because last year it was so hard for me three months into doing this full time to like even know what direction. This was going in slash if I could actually do it. So I feel like having a year under my belt feels really good. I think we stayed super authentic to ourselves. There's a lot of couples accounts where they do, I don't know what to call it, like fake prank videos and you just see those accounts just skyrocket and there's like always this. I wouldn't even call it a temptation, but you know, you see a pact of success and you're like, we could do that, but it just doesn't feel good. So yeah, I'm proud of us for keeping our brand very authentic and true to who we are. And we've learned a ton, like it's just been so fun to like kind of come into this with no idea what we're doing and work together. I think wouldn't I have grown as a couple a lot? I don't think a lot of people can say they work well with their fiance slash husband and we plan to wedding and we did well this year. So I'm just proud of us. I'm proud of you guys too. And something that you did, I think that was almost like a left turn for me because I wouldn't have approached it this way, but I think that you approached it the better way, which is you are couples account, but you have found this way to make these really funny like skits and bits and not need to bring the camera into like the actually like intimate and special moments between you and would like, I don't think when you guys are having a cute moment on the couch, you're like, Oh, I need to film this. And so it's like really awesome that you've created like such a clear boundary with like what sacred to your relationship and you've been able to be massively successful. Like I think the way you know the guy did that was amazing. And I think I couldn't as a couple account. And that's why like that's where my brain went. So you guys did a beautiful job at that. And then a few other things you had ob similar was like trusting your gut. You said tuning outside noise and making decisions based on what feels aligned to you. You wanted to apply that mindset both to content creation and wedding planning. Wow. I feel like those goals are kind of big and I feel like I left myself enough room to accomplish them all, but yeah, wedding planning. I think that's a big one that like Natalie, you're probably going through this right now. There's like so much outside noise between like family members and internet. People just hear you're planning a wedding and offer their opinion without you asking. And like for me, I'm kind of a sponge like I love people's opinions and I want to just do what everyone else wants me to do. And I feel like we did our wedding exactly how we wanted to. Like it didn't feel over the top or like I, you know, we stood budget on something that I didn't feel like I needed to. It was three months into you being full time when we recorded this last year. I feel like you had a ton of imposter syndrome. You were like, I shouldn't be doing this. This is so weird. Like I feel like this is wrong. Yes. Do you feel like you've overcome that in the last year? I feel like, yes, I feel like a year of, you know, consistency and like figuring it out together has given me some leeway and like some, some gentleness with myself to be like, okay, I am a content creator. I'm not faking this. This wasn't an accident like repeated. We've rinsed and repeated a lot like, whereas before it was like, okay, we had a happy accident. And like, I don't know, like if this is what it's supposed to be doing. But it's been great. I wouldn't you have the most viral wedding of 2025, like I think things are going well. The speech has gone mega mega viral. Like everything's kind of falling into place here. It feels right now, which I can't say last year I did. You do such a good job of even like your wedding, like pulling that off with honestly not much help or like leadership from anyone else, but yourself. And you don't freak out in the way that I feel like I do in those situations. And so I feel like when there's something that comes up like that, the fact that you're able to do it so beautifully and so like authentically and so aligned and like say, so centered is just like so impressive. I feel like that's like an underrated thing, maybe that you underrate about yourself, maybe, but it's insane what you and would have accomplished in the past year. Thank you. That's so nice of you. I mean, it's been mostly fun, but I mean, you guys know it comes with its challenges, like waking up and being creative every day, like a whole year of that for me. I've never been a creative person. So like I have learned so much. And by the way, I'm the wedding front, you know, mine will not be grounded, calm, chill, cool, aligned, like I'll maintain no semblance of myself. I'm like watching myself getting married, wondering like who that person is. So don't expect the same kind of authenticity from your good friend, C.N. over here, but Aubrey, thank you for leading the way and showing us what that could look like. Not how much of your wedding will you put online? I haven't decided. I think it's so different for Aubrey and I, because there are couples account and like wood and Aubrey are equally as familiar with the camera, whereas my fiance as we've discussed is very offline. And so how do I balance wanting to share this exciting moment? We've had conversations of, well, I wish I had like a personal page where I could just share to the people I love in this world and I don't have that. I gave that up years ago because it was too tiring to maintain two accounts. And it's like every girl wants to post their wedding. So it just is hard to think about when it's going to a million people. That's like a definitely a different audience than your homegirls from college. So I don't think we'll do real time posting, but I think we'll just like let it, we'll you're out of a content strategy. I have some images on my photography shot list that are like kind of back of his head full my face. So it might be just kind of this mysterious. Like she got married. Who is it? Is this a girl who doesn't want any ways hanging in your hallway? - Yeah. - It's all about me. - Seriously, every bride looks at the photo and looks at themselves first anyways. So it's like, you're just, that's what everyone does. - At least he won't be blinking, you know? - No. And it will definitely be doing some trends in the bridal suite. I think that brings me a lot of joy. Like everyone will be exhausted. It'll be like power for. We're like, we're doing the Taylor Swift trend everyone. - I'm ready to work. - So tell me everything is not dang it, Vic. Faster. It's gonna be. That was actually real piece like I got a Aubrey's wedding. I didn't move fast enough in the TikTok. It was just embarrassing as one of the three TikTokers. - Do you want to have a play? - Yeah, crazy. - Vic, tell us your 2025 year in review. - Gosh, well you both had dominated your goals. And I obviously did some great things this year. But I'm looking at some of my goals. And like my, so my work goal was, first one was develop a long term business venture around mental health or body image that expands my career beyond brand deals that I can grow with. And I do think I have that coming with my secret project at the start of the year. So I am actually really proud that I think that I have created that. And it's gonna be coming out in the top of January. And we'll see how the world receives it. But that could be the start of something new. So everyone, Vic, when does it release? Can you, can you announce it now? But I've been mega teasing it. But January one, you will be getting basically what it is and the first teaser post. So everyone stay tuned. - Oh my gosh. I remember about to get our hands on this by the way. Should I not, am I allowed to say it's physical? - Sure, but you can't say more than that. - I can not freaking wait. I've been texting Vic literally for what six months being like, I need it now. - Need it. - Need it, need, need, need. - That makes me so happy. Yes, I'm really excited about that. So I think that one I definitely as accomplished. And that was a major undertaking for both me and Jenna shout out again. So really proud of us to be where we are here. And then it said to step fully into a leadership role, give direct, timely feedback, communicate with clarity, trust my authority as a business leader. And I definitely think I have learned a lot. But if I do look on paper of the fact that I have had two hires this year that are no longer on my team in various ways, I don't know. I think one could look at that as maybe a failure. But I also do think I learned so much. And I'm grateful for that. But I'm definitely in a place right now where, and I talked about this on my solo episode recently. And so if you guys listen to that, the chaotic life update you heard this, I do feel like I'm a little bit burnt out from work. So I don't think I maybe picture perfect. Did these goals? Although I did work on them and I learned a lot. So I think that's what I'll say there. I feel like that's a goal accomplished for sure. Like, I feel like two vows friends on a pod. No, like you did it though. You didn't know anything. It's also so hard. It's way easier to hire people. It's way harder to let people go. And that takes true business leadership and authority to get to that place, make that decision, follow through with it, make sure they're okay. Have the empathy through the entire process. And you did it. And I think it's tough. We both know that. It's tough, but I learned so much. And I'm really excited for the confidence I have going forward. And I think I'm night and day a different type of leader, a leader that I really like at the end of the year than from the beginning. And then my personal goals were to mind less what people think of me, not fear being disliked, be bolder in my expression. And I will say I think I've gotten better at this. I had a clip about GLP ones from RealPod go like kind of viral in like a negative way, but it was taken out of context by me and my own team because you know, it was the video was going to hit taking in that context. But I did a good job of like when I saw that, like my heart went into fight or flight. And then I was like, no, take a deep breath. Like if people really care about what you're saying here, they can listen to the full episode. They'll hear like what question you're answering and like it's fine. And so I've definitely grown a lot in that way. But I literally had a therapy session this morning about tolerating dislike, tolerating people not liking me in various ways. And then I also have here be bolder in my self expression. And I think that that's still something I, I haven't really like looked under the hood. I feel like I forgot about all these things I said and I didn't work on them. I'm like, what, can you redefine being bolder in your expression? Are we going to get the pink care back? Because what does this mean? Are we so funny because I literally asked for that two weeks ago? We already I did too. I was glad to know about it and she wasn't laughing. She wasn't laughing. No, I am laughing the last time I kind of had a quick. You dyed your hair fuchsia pink. Like are we allowed to laugh about this? That was funny. What's laugh about it? That was funny. I think it's funny. I don't care at all. I'll bring up throwback pictures. Last time I had a crisis, I dyed my hair pink. So that's why Aubrey Natalie are like pink, pink, pink, pink, pink. What did you mean when you said this though? I don't know. This might have been something I threw into a sentence, but it wasn't my high level goal. I think was this the sexy journey? Perhaps. No, I think it might have meant like reducing, here it says reducing attachment to external approval and like protecting my energies. Maybe it meant more of like not giving a fuck what people think that kind of vibe. Yeah. And honestly, maybe I'm clouded right now, but I don't feel like that was top of mind for me this year. I think it always has been in little ways, but I think in terms of like personal growth in 2025, I think my overarching lesson I learned is that I'm a work in progress and I'm an imperfect person. And that's actually been really powerful for me. And I've been repeating to myself, I'm a work in progress. And like anytime I do something that's, I'll be your face, gonna make me cry. I'm being. I'm so proud of you. Yeah. I just think like I need, that's like been something I've been trying to think about as I'm a work in progress. So when I make mistakes or I fuck up things or I don't accomplish things, I'm like, I'm a work in progress. So I think that's been the biggest thing I've learned in 2025, although it wasn't the goal I set. I think that's great. I think that's better than any goal you set, I think. You're so good at like applying the therapy you do into your everyday life and your relationships. Like, you think I'm gonna look in the mirror and say, I'm a work in progress. I'd rather die than admit that I need to grow in any small way. Like that is so impressive, but you just take the time to do that and I don't know, you make Aubrey and I better. I'll speak for both of us. I really do. I'm trying. I'm like, oh my God. Mine just brought the whole episode down. Why do I do this every time? Okay. So now we're crying. Okay. Why do I feel like no, literally, it's just real positive that he's well, I cried on real positive when I was in that chair. You did get a little teary eyed, which was crazy. I haven't cried in years. And I haven't cried since that day. Great. Now it's real pot again. Maybe I'll have my annual cry. Okay. Right after this break, we'll be back with our goals for 2026. Real pot is brought to you by element. I love elements so much. It is an electrolyte drink mix and a sparkling electrolyte water, born from the growing body of research, revealing that optimal health outcomes occur at sodium levels two to three times government recommendations, isn't that wild? So many people say, like, just have water, water, water to stay hydrated, but we need to replenish electrolytes, especially the ones that we're losing. An element is formulated for anyone on a mission to restore health through hydration. And each stick pack of element delivers a meaningful dose of electrolytes. And I feel it instantly. Like the second that I sit my element, I just am being honestly revived. I will not go on any sort of strenuous trip or work out without it. Max and I love drinking our elements together. We both have our Stanley cups. And so I will put in the watermelon flavor for him, he'll put in the raspberry flavor for me. We like to add some ice. I love a nice cold element. It's so simple. You just pour in the stick pack and you mix it up. And they have so many amazing flavors, like citrus, lemonade. The lemonade was a new one and it's so good, chocolate, and they have their sparkling electrolyte water. So if you love a sparkling water, you should try element sparkling. Do you have your 2026 work and personal goal? Yes, I do. They're very short in my notes so I can expand on them. But my work goal, something very exciting is that I am launching a B to B agency for brands looking to launch influencer activations with B to B creators from micro to macro. And I brought on a COO to make this happen. This is kind of transformed from my virtual assistant company that I founded with my roommate in 2022. It's grown since then into this now agency offering. And I have just been so reinvigorated and excited by launching this new business venture. And I think it's like the perfect thing. We spent six months toying around like, what's the next business move? launching a course. Are we making a new channel for content like podcast? What are we going to do? And we landed on this kind of agency service offering and I couldn't be more excited. Yay. I'm so happy for you. But it's going to be insane. Like you literally taught yourself and how to manage yourself and have managed yourself and have become one of the most top earning successful creators. So no doubt you're going to be able to do that for other people. Dude, I'm so happy for you. That's insane. Oh my god. Thank you. We'll have to check back in next year or see how it went. But very excited. I think it's like I'm ready to reinvest in myself and take the risk and it's funny. We're working at a wee work like three days a week. And my fiance is also in the same wee work obviously because I had to stock him and go to the exact same moment he's in. So we just joke like that there's a whole kind of severance relationship between our floors. Like I'm on floor seven. He's on floor nine. He's like a lot of go down to seven. They're filming TikToks down there. Like I'm I'm building a B2B service offering here. No, it's just so funny. So anyway, we we crack up. We have fun. My dad also works in the adjacent building. So like race kind of a whole party. Yeah, NSF. So yeah, that's my work. Okay, personal goal. And I think this is from seeing and witnessing Aubrey do it and just so many friends this year at weddings, but Aubrey did this phenomenally is just to be so present at my wedding. I think it's so easy to get caught up in all of these details and silly things that really don't matter, but I just pray I can wake up on Sunday and be like, that was the best weekend ever. And I had so much fun with my now husband and my friends and just like being present would be my goal for the entire year, honestly. Oh, I love that. I'm so excited for you. We will we can help keep you on that. You know, I think you anything you set your mind to you keep top of mind, but we can help with that. And I'm so excited for your bachelorette, your shower. It's all going to be so fun. Bachelorette. We should do a bachelorette. So present in everything you do like without even realizing it. Like I've never once felt like you were distracted by like no matter what. I feel like you're so present with all the shit you juggle. Like it's insane. Oh my gosh. I'm honored. That's just because I said on your floor and I just like look at you and wood and just I'm like a little baby like just ready for you guys to give me attention, but you're so sweet. Yeah, I'm excited. Okay. That's 2026. I got excited. When we do this again, you'll be buried. Well, I'll be buried. You guys are going to have freaking kids. They might even be at my wedding. Who knows? I know me too. My personal goal. Get pregnant. Get pregnant. Okay. Okay. Who's the best? Okay. We'll start with work. Me and me and my wonderful husband sat down and wrote these goals out. I have three. I have three. They're built community expand and get organized for build community. I think what you mentioned at the start of it was like, you know, we took our content. We moved it away from our lives because I think the internet's a terrifying place and letting people into our relationship. It was like a really scary thing off the bat. But like that's how we started and I feel like we've moved so far away from that that I think letting people a little bit more into our lives would be okay for this year. And it's something I want to work towards. And it's definitely a fear I have. So I think overcoming that and like Vic said, like not being scared of what people think, like just letting me just like that can manifest in multiple ways, I guess that could be. Are you thinking like get ready with me? Like, I don't know. Like vlogs, like coming with us to do things or like we haven't really figured it out. And I think it'll be kind of a work in process. But I agree with what you said at the beginning of the episode. I never ever want to be having a moment that I think is sweet with you and be like, wait, let me set up the tripod. Nothing is worth that to me. So like, I don't know, taking being intentional with filming our lives, I think. God, Aubrey's so good at setting goals because like you'll definitely achieve that, right? Like, yeah, well, you keep it so vague. I'm like, oh, what does build community mean in a more tactical way? I like to keep it vague because I'm like, I'd rather have a general idea than like going with like, you know, gain a hundred thousand dollars, like me 200k. I'm like, I know she's so typey. She's like, be happy. Be okay. I'm married. True to myself. Yeah. We're literally. No, we're going to love them. Okay. I like when you say build community, tell me more. I'm going to do a broadcast channel. What do you mean? Meetups. When I think you have broadcast channel, I felt like when we first started because we were sharing our actual lives and like, you know, our relationship, people felt more connected to us. I just feel like we, I feel like they deserve more. And like, I want to give that to them without it encroaching on me and wood peddling on the couch being sweet with each other. You know what I mean? Expand is I want to do long form. I want to explore on YouTube. You guys both have had your YouTube stand. I don't know what that looks like yet. We're going to keep it vague. I'm going to post something on YouTube this year. Good luck. Good luck. We might have retired there. So we'll pass the purchase on YouTube. I'm taking a indefinite hit this. Yeah. You gave it such a good go though. Like, you had me there. I was like, I was like, she's going to do this. No, I'm like, smash that subscribe button. And then I just, I woke up and I had no more energy left. It really takes years of consistency. It's insane. Yeah. Good luck, Aubrey. Have fun with your one YouTube vlog. No, I mean, it just people love couples on YouTube. You guys can do it. That can you explain, sorry, at some point, I don't know when the right point is, but the metaphor you use to describe Aubrey and Wood driving through life versus you and Matt. Yeah. I just was talking Natalie and I was like, because I've told you this, Aubrey, that you and Wood and your approach to being a content creator has inspired me because I think I have so much on my plate and I don't need to have that much on my plate. And I was like, I feel like Aubrey and Wood are just like in their car together, like like one hand on the wheel, one foot up, like just stopped at the gas station, like roof is down. And meanwhile, Max and I are in our car, shoulders up, wheels being gripped. Like it's like, and we're just like, turn left turn, you gotta go straight, foot on the gas. We're gripping life so tightly and work so tightly. And I feel like you guys hold work loosely. And that like, I want more of that. We, but that's something I learned over this last year, because it was so scary for us to start doing this full time and I was gripping like and it was making everything we put out worse because no one wants a video of someone stressed. Like that's just not what they want to see. So I was like, are we supposed to laugh together if I'm stressed that we're not like, you know, doing the right thing all the time? And I think for everybody listening, like whatever it is in your life that you want to happen, can we hold it loosely? And can we hold it gently? Because it's like, I think everything is like trying to catch a butterfly. And how do you catch a butterfly? You sit down and you don't do anything and it lands on you. If you go try to catch it, you never will. So I think this is just something everyone can take into the new year. It's like, well, would it be like if I held everything loosely? I love that. I love that. And also, I got trap Botox with which helped with that. It was kind of alleviating some of the tension. I'm holding in my neck. So, right. Aubrey, continue. Get organized. Natalie, this one is inspired from you. Natalie is so good at building systems. And like, batching content, I just admire your organization. And I think I need a little bit more of that. Perhaps I've been holding too loosely. So, do you want to bring on anyone for the team? No, I don't want to take, I don't want to bring on anyone else. We don't have enough to juggle to meet anyone else. Like, we manage everything fine. And I don't know why I feel so weird about like bringing a third into our relationship. No, really, it's like a thruple. No, it's our thing that we've done together. And it's like, helped our relationships so much in our communication. And like, no, I'm like, I'd rather figure it out just the two of us get a look behind the curtain. No, no, Natalie's seen it. No one needs to see all that personal, prioritized mental health. The way I'm actively doing this already is not only with me this weekend, I'm really re-evaluating my drinking habits. I feel like with all the flexibility in our schedule, being like, Hey, let's go to the bar and get two drinks on a Thursday has become too accessible. And like, I just need a full reset for the next few months, which does lead into my next goal of starting to think about family planning. And I will not say getting pregnant next year, because we all know that, you know, you can't plan too well for that sort of thing. So it's a butterfly to me. We're gonna start family planning. I love that as a butterfly. I love that. And you're not pregnant now. I'm not pregnant now. Natalie called me today. I was like, have you heard this sober bullshit from Aubrey? She's pregnant. And I was like, she's not pregnant. She would have told me. I'll read for one night. It's like, oh, I'll take the NA, you know, Cosmo. I'm like, NA Cosmo. She's like, she's having baby. She's having, there's a bot in the oven, guys, get her, get her. No, I swear on my life, I'm not pregnant. These are two separate things that happen to go inside. But I love that you're holding that loosely. That segues into my personal goal, which literally the number one ball points as get pregnant. Is it bad that I wanted that bad? I wanted that bad too, but life's too unpredictable. But it's like manifestation, like speaking what you want to happen, you know, yeah. I know it's couples. It's hard because it is so hard to get pregnant these days. And there's also pressure for you with Max's schedule of like, yeah, we kind of got to get it done in this window. We're gonna wait until a certain window. But once that first window passes, we wouldn't like stop and hold off again. And Max has said to me, he's like, you need to like cool it because you're telling everyone this and then they're gonna check in and be way up in your business. But I'm like, I just don't know how else to live. Like, what am I supposed to tell people like, oh, we'd like to. I'm just like, yeah, you know, we want to get pregnant. Yeah, I think that's healthy. Like, we want to. It's just like, I don't know. I think it scares me more if I'm like, I'm going to get pregnant. Then I'm like, hold, again, holding the wheel so tightly that like, it doesn't happen. And I'm making it worse because I'm all stressed. Yeah. I definitely think, obviously, the like stress affects it. And then I've heard when they're told they can't have kids and they have to adopt, they do get pregnant because all the stress goes away. So I definitely believe in all that. And I don't feel like I'm in that place of panic. But I'm definitely like, I would love to be pregnant. That's a personal goal. I hope when we're recording this next year, oh my god, you're breastfeeding. Either they'll be latched on second to milk from mommy or they'll be in the oven ready to pop. Whatever it is, anti Natalie will be here with a cosmos continuing to kind of drink and have fun and enjoy life and not not bring that in yet. I don't think I don't think my other in next year for Natalie. Natalie doesn't know. Natalie's been having some some freak outs about that. But that's a separate topic. I just need you guys to kind of do it first. And then we'll see how it goes. Gladly. My next personal goal is to evolve spiritually. I would like to truly shed the skin of what I've coined the presenting version of me. And it's not that I think that I'm not being myself. But I do think that my being has learned the best way to navigate the world and relationships and everything. And I would just be curious like if I let go of some of that, like what I would be like act like dress like what I would do what my schedule would be like. And that parlays into my third personal goal, which is adventuring more. So more spontaneity. And so I feel like I would love to do some sort of road trip with Max where we go to an Airbnb and we don't know when we're leaving and we don't know where we're going next. And I would just love to have some of that. And I think that they'll go hand in hand. And I'd also like to do something like a psychedelic journey or something of that sort to help facilitate the shedding. So I'm very much intrigued. God. I love you guys. I love you guys. I freaking love Natalie. Hey, Natalie. Like what's happening here? I don't even know you too. Oh my god. Let's see. Let's unpack those goals. So get pregnant. I love the adventuring. I often say with my fiancee like can I need to touch grass. I feel like everything is so planned in my life. And like we're going to this hotel and we're going to lay and we're not going to do anything because I don't want to be stressed and I'm always stressed in the weekend. I just want to lay on the shades lounge. And then I see like Aubrey's safari honeymoon go go go. I'm like, wow, maybe I could you know do something. Look at an animal. See wildlife. Yeah. Touch grass. So I love that adventure. I stumbled across this girl's TikTok the other day and she literally took herself on a solo trip to Hawaii and was hiking and doing all this stuff and she's skydiving. And I'm just like I feel like my calendar. I never don't have at least something three or four months in advance on my calendar. And it's like I would just love I just want to breathe. I told Max and this sounds dark. But I was like I just kind of feel like I want to run away. Like I'm just at this place where I feel really claustrophobic with just like my schedule and my routine. And I want to do it, right? Because I'm like, I don't want to be here in a year from now and be like, we never did it or we did one little trip. And no, like I want to just be rogue. Like even if we start small and we get in the car and we're like, let's just drive to the bay and let's visit Aubrey and Adelaide this weekend, like unplanned. And like if they can't, we'll get a hotel. Whatever. Like I just want to be more spontaneous. I love that. I love that. Thank you. So cool. Lastly, my work goals. This was hard for me to honestly think clearly about right now because I just do feel like I'm on E with work in my tank that I can't like think clearly. But to the best of my abilities, I know that my guiding points are going to be number one to have fewer priorities. I want to be focused on less, but like be really intentional about it. So I'm looking at everything on my plate and realizing what I can delegate and what I really just have to get out of the weeds of and what I want to have my hands in directly. So I'm excited to hopefully just streamline the business even further so that I don't feel so spread then. And then my second work goal is I want to hopefully sell out my secret New Year's project. Whether it's quickly, whether it takes all year, I just want that hopefully to go well and I want to keep building off of that. And then third, I would like to start and get significant progress on building out some sort of intuitive eating project. It's a passion of mine to be able to bring that to the world in a relatable, digestible daily way. I don't know if that means writing a book. I don't know if that means creating an app. I don't know if that means a course. I don't know if that means a live sessions with lots of people. I'm not sure. But I would like to sit here a year from now and be like, I'm 50% in on one of those. I love that. I love that. I mean, I have no doubt that your second goal is going to manifest like zeroed out my mind. So I think it's crossed. God, I can't believe like I'm just thinking through, like, when am I doing the IOS trip? When are we skydiving? Like, what are we going to do in this van that we're all suddenly living in? You're, you're going to surprise attack. Visit us. Like I have to have the guest make me like, I just I showed up in a huge RV and we just said get in. I would do it. Obviously, you met me. I'm going to need, I'm going to need a two business days to decide on that ships and things around. But I love it. Imagining you guys get in. You're like, you have like weird little hats on. You're just so ready to go. We need to figure something out or you guys can just come join Max and I wherever we wander, sweet max. He's like, yes, when I said, will you do this with me? Do you want to wander with me? But I think before kids is the time for us to do something wild like this. So that's why I would like to do it. And I don't think it needs to be that long. I think it'll get out of my system in like three, four weeks. We'll see. You guys don't invite me on your Hawaii trip. All of a sudden you're doing Iowa. You're getting lost in minivan together. You're moving there. I'm like, wow, okay, like I didn't realize this is such a big kind of monumental thing and are your friendship in our lives? Like what have been nice to get the invite? But that's okay. Not do you want to do a psychedelic journey and look yourself in the mirror? Fick. Absolutely not. That's why you were an included. I want to make bits about it. So just let me be a part of it. I'll hold the barf bucket or something. I don't know. But when the time comes that you want to, we'll be there for you. Guys, thank you so much. I will say though it is cool how we're all for sure different fonts. I do think though we all are pretty different, but then we have some really like core through lines. And so I think it's really special like our friendship with all of our different interest desires and like personality types. I love us. We really love us. I do love us. I love you, girlies. Thank you so much for doing this. This was so fun and special. I love you so much. I'm so excited to see what this year has in store for us.
