Surviving Barstool premieres Sunday, August 9th at 5 p.m. on Rumble Premium, and everywhere else at 8 p.m. What's up, everyone? It's Chicks in the Office with Rhea and Fran, giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday. Happy Wednesday, everybody. How are we feeling? Middle of the week. We're home from Palm Springs. What's going on? Just adjusting a bit to the time. It's like we were just in, I feel like we were just on the West Coast. Long enough to start to adjust to that time, and then you come right back, and you gotta get back. Coming back to the East Coast is always harder, because it's like, when you go to the West Coast, it's like, oh, you're going to bed earlier, you're waking up earlier, got more of the day, light time. When you come back to the East Coast, it's like, oh, you want to sleep till noon, and then you're up till 3 a.m. Like, it's a disaster. Oh, totally. I got smacked in the face with one of the worst migraines I've ever felt in my entire life. Getting off our road. It was like a red-eye flight, and my God, has it dwindled into day two, but it's finally wearing off, and my back is killing me. It's one of those moments you're like, damn, I'm 29, huh? I slept wrong on the plane, and I don't know what happened next. And you know what? Like, not to immediately bring up the California, the heat, but it really was, it's such a dry heat that, like, you, you, I felt like my skin was, was crackling by the time it came inside. Like, you were like, you thought you were outside, you come back inside, and then you would touch your skin as like, it was like sandpaper. Mm-hmm. I genuinely think I got such a bad migraine from going, like, to the extreme heat to coming home, and it was raining in New York, and just feeling like absolute dog. Like, I just feel like dog shit. But you're right. I texted you yesterday. I said, do you feel like your skin? Is turning into leather? Yeah. Because I looked in the mirror. I said, oh, my God, I look like I aged fucking 50 years in Palm Springs. Now, you know, moisturizing, water, rejuvenated, getting out of that, that real dry desert heat, feeling, you know, coming back to life just a tad bit. But, yeah, we're back. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed our Dancing with the Stars con panel. It seems as though you did. We had so much fun, and just ready for the rest. The rest of the week. Yesterday, I was able to talk and announce the Outer Banks official podcast coming to Netflix, which I am so excited about. And I just want to give a little bit of a backstory for newer listeners who maybe don't know the lore, because I know that if you listened back then, then you get the lore. So this is a little background story. But when Outer Banks first came out in spring of 2020, we were all locked down. It was quarantine, and the show came out on Netflix. And I was obsessed. Obsessed. Like, from the moment I hit play on this show, I was utterly obsessed. I told everybody to watch it, and I actually found the old tweets where it was like, on, I watched Outer Banks, I came on the show, and I was like, I would die for John B. And I was like, you guys need to fucking watch this show. And you guys watch, and then Fran was like, you know what? I would also die for John B. Holy fuck. And then Robbie Fox, I didn't even realize how much, you know, Robbie's a good friend, good friend of ours. And I went back, and I was like, oh my God. Oh my God, Robbie was so involved in it, too, watching from us. Like, oh my God, I'm obsessed with this show. It just, it started taking off, obviously not just from us, but the entire world became obsessed with it. And we were like, we got to get these people on the show. So Chase Stokes and Madeline Klein came on to Chicks in the Office, and then Rudy and JD did as well. And I took, I would die for John B., and I was like, merch. Merch has got to happen. So we made some merch, and so many people bought this merch. Like, celebrities were buying it. The cast itself wanted it to be sent to them. So much so that during quarantine at this time, it was during COVID, Dave had texted being like, guys, like, this merch has sold, like, over a million dollars worth of merch, and is genuinely helping us during this time, because the whole world had shut down. Yeah. And that Outer Banks— Yeah, it was like a genuine thank you. Yeah, it was like, thank you, because, you know, we have to make money at this company, and this merch is genuinely helping us, which was so cool. And at that time, to be able to, you know, make money for the company, it was incredible, especially during that time. So then from there, I practically was begging every day to be a part of the show. Like, I knew the second season was going to start filming soon. Yes. And I was like, oh, my God, please get me on the show. Please get me on the show. Hashtag Get Rihanna Outer Banks was trending on Twitter, because I was begging people to tweet about it. I made a terrible, like, a phony parody audition tape, which I will maybe post, because it was so insane. It's obviously not a real audition tape, but I was like, anything for these people to get to see how badly I want to be on this show. And then going into season two, now we fast forward, like, a year later to 2021, season two comes out, and there is a role in season two where we were watching, and I remember Fran being like, I feel like you could have done that role. And I was like, I also feel that way. What the fuck? Then Chase Stokes goes on a radio station and tells the hosts of the radio station that that role was supposed to be mine. I didn't get the call. I didn't know that. I was like, who knew that role? It was supposed to be mine, not me. And they had said, Chase and Madeline came back on a little before that and said, oh, you know, we wish we could have got you on the show, but with COVID rules and all that. And I'm like, how'd this other girl get on? So it just became like a funny back and forth. Then you fast forward to, I want to say it was 2024 or 2025. I forget exactly what year it was. But Chase Stokes goes on Penn Badgley's podcast. And Penn Badgley says to Chase, like, this is your first podcast. And Chase goes. Yes, it is. I was utterly shocked and disappointed. Came onto our show and said, are you kidding me, Chase? Yeah. You don't remember that the first ever show you guys did was Chicks in the Office? So that was like a real slash fake beef. Yeah. Like it was. And that was, he had only been on our show on Zoom. On Zoom. We had never met Chase in person. Yeah. So it was only. Only on Zoom like multiple times, but never in person. So he said, you know, I think it meant like first podcast in person. So it was like this fake beef, whatever. And obviously we have talked about him a bunch and, you know, his extracurricular activities as well. So then it became like a thing like, oh, okay. I put my life on the line for this guy. What the fuck? You know, really laid my heart out. Yep. So then. Fast forward to now where my agents call and tell me that Netflix called them and asked for me to do this. And my reaction was absolutely. But are you sure they're okay with this? Like I genuinely was like, is the cat? Does the cast know that it's me? Yeah. Right. And they were like, yes, they're excited. Da da da da da. And I, it was, it's just an insane opportunity. I was so honored that they asked me and trusted me with this. I think people are going to love the interviews. They really, I sat down with each of, with each of them individually. And then the last one is like a group one separated with the guys and the girls. And I really think that people, I don't want to give much away, but I really think people are going to thoroughly enjoy these interviews and really see how they felt about growing up on this show. Them as people. People in real life. Some stories people have never heard. All of that. It was, I honestly left being touched by multiple of these interviews. And I will say Chase and I, because I had a lot of people in my DMs asking, obviously I was extremely nervous to meet Chase in person after the back and forth. Because there also has been a little bit of, like there's been a little bit of a couple of moments where we've tried to have him back on. And he like has, from what we were told, like said, no. So we were like, Ooh, like this, we've actually struck a chord here. Like this is now very awkward. Yes. Which is why I was like, are you sure they're okay with it? With it being like with this. Um, and he could not have been nicer, funnier, amazing about the whole situation. As soon as we saw each other, he walked on and was like, I'm ready for, for my first podcast and that broke the ice immediately. And we caught up and we talked and it was great. And I have more things to share the week of August 20th that I think people will love. But I walked away being like, he was amazing. Genuinely, like he was great. Just a great person. They all were, obviously. Which makes me so happy. It made me ecstatic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. A lot of people were asking. I think a lot got lost in between people. In the middlemen, you know. We just needed to have, we needed to see him face to face. You needed to have that combo and I'm glad you did. Yes, we did. And also he was so nice about just like us talking about things in general. Like he was like, you know, like it was very funny. And I think people are really going to love what he said and what everybody else said about their time on the show. And yeah, I feel so honored that I was asked to do it. I know that we've joked around about like show podcasts before, which is so funny. Not every show needs a podcast, but if you know me, then you know I firmly believe Outer Banks does. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because especially this cast doesn't do a lot of interviews. They really haven't. And especially in this way, in this format, and kind of like diving deeper. So I couldn't have been more honored and excited and ecstatic. And I am. I am so happy with the way it went. And obviously I have not seen the final product. So yeah, yeah, yeah. You know. Well, the teaser looks stunning. You looked amazing. Thank you. It looked so cool. I'm so excited to watch it. You know, not every show may need a podcast, but if they ask you to host, they definitely need it. They definitely. That's the thing. If they ask us to host, then. Then available. Yeah, yeah. So I was like, yeah. Yes. Yeah. Um, obviously a huge opportunity. And I feel like the timing makes sense though. It's not like a season, like a season one podcast kind of thing. This is like the show is ending. So it makes the most sense to do it. It's like, oh, the show is ending. This is a one-off special podcast to, to commemorate the whole show and get to talk to him and deep dive and everything. It's not just like a podcast that is part of a show. Every single episode of a show that has a podcast, you know what I'm saying? Like it's like, it's, it's a culmination and it's so different. Exactly. And I think it's, it's extremely meaningful, especially like you said, the last season. And also it's not a recap podcast. Yeah. It is genuinely like sit down interviews with each cast member, which I think makes it incredibly special. And I couldn't believe like getting this call because I genuinely was like, there's nothing. There's no way she still wants me to do this, but they did. And that was awesome. And I will say when I first saw like the Outer Banks, like headline in the email for my agents, when it first came through, I was like, they throw on me in my, my finally get this finally the email, like, are they editing? They have a spot for me. We need to slice in a little Ria in the final season. Uh, no, it was not a role, but I may argue that this was even better than being thrown into a role onto the show and more fitting and yes. And more fitting as this is my job and I am a wannabe actress who has no credits. Uh, so yes. And they, sorry, I'm just thinking of the Steven Baldwin quote. You said that. Oh yes. It's just like, it's just like partially like Ria. It could put this quote out about herself. I literally sent it to the group with a Photoshop picture of me because Steven Baldwin said, oh, so fucking funny. He said, I probably could have pointed myself in the direction of becoming a big star, but that wasn't me. I didn't want to be Tom Cruise and have to make a hundred million dollars at the box office. I'd rather be a schmuck from Massapequa. Couldn't be, couldn't be more me. Really is you. So, so funny, but I am so excited. And Netflix was amazing and they really let me kind of take control of like coming up with the questions and feeling where, cause that's what we do best. Yeah. And, um, you know, we're, we don't like, I don't know how other shows work, but like we kind of just like go with the flow with our interviews and that's the feel that they wanted. And I think that's what people like. People are going to get is kind of just like seeing where the conversation, the conversation goes. And, um, I think it went into some really interesting places. And obviously, like I said, I don't have final cut or say of what's being in or out. So, um, but I know that it's going to be great and I can't wait for everyone to watch. And I'm so, so, so, so excited. I, I'm really just, I, I was like jumping up and down yesterday because I think, especially this show. And this is going to sound really cheesy and actually after I filmed it, I like wrote a whole thing in my notes app, basically all my feelings about being able to do this. And I said that like this show came at a time for me when I needed comfort the most. And I think that's to be said for a lot of people because we were locked down in quarantine. Yeah. But I also like was having some personal things. Going on. And it was in a time where like, I wasn't my best or doing my best and I was depressed and whatnot. And I, this show as cheesy as it was, like brought so much happiness to me and, uh, so much comfort and being able to like also do things at work with it, like just made it all so cool. So it was like, for me, a professional milestone, but also a personal one, because I, I, I, I keep repeating that it was cheesy, but like I, it, this show really did come at a time where I felt like I needed connection. And I think that they did a great job at making people feel that way, especially the fan base they have is very diehard and very passionate. So I can't wait for people to watch comes out August 20th, uh, the whole season, the final season of Outer Banks comes out August 20th and the podcast will play right in right after. And, uh, you know, I think watch. Oh, I love that. It's going to go right into the podcast episodes. I believe it goes right into it. Now I might be saying something I shouldn't, but I think, uh, I don't, I don't know. I don't, I don't know like certain, this is why I've been so nervous to say anything because I don't know certain rules of what I kind of can't say. I mean, regardless, it'll be easy to find. It's like Netflix, you know, all the podcasts are right there now. Yes. But I think it will roll kind of right into that, I think. Um, and I was going to say something else. I was going to say something else about it and now I'm blanking, but yeah, very excited. I, oh, what I was going to say was if you don't watch Outer Banks, then you could just watch the podcast and support me and I'll love that. Uh, but I would watch the entire season of Outer Banks before, if you are an Outer Banks watcher, watch that entire season of Outer Banks before watching the podcast because there's obviously spoilers in it because it's the end of the show and we talk about it a lot and we talk about everything. Yeah. So yeah. Yay. I'm so excited. I can't wait to watch. Thanks for all the support from you guys and all of our listeners who seemingly shared the same excitement that I had about it because they knew the lore ran deep in it. Even if you didn't know the lore. No, it's a good, perfect full, full, full circle moment. You're like, yep, this makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. So that's why I was, I was really excited. Yeah. Well, congratulations. We were all B1s. Thank you for watching and we are very excited to tune in and watch the last season. I'm jealous because I'm sure you, you know, there's not an issue with saying this. You obviously had to watch it so that you could talk about it. So you've seen it. My lips are sealed. Which, um, which I'm jealous about because I'm not like the trailer looked so good. I'm so excited to see how it all ends. And it's so funny because like you haven't even tried to tell me anything, but I'm like, no spoilers. And you're like, I haven't said one thing to you. Like, I'm like, ah, I'm not listening. I haven't said a thing. I haven't said a thing or hinted to a single thing. Um, so that's also an added aspect. Can't wait to watch that too. I feel like a perfect way to kind of like fit wrap up summer a little bit. Yeah. And it's so crazy because thinking about how this show came up, came out in 2020, now it's 2026, almost going into 2027. Like it's been like, it's been seven years. Yeah. And I just feel like we've grown up so much in this time. And that was kind of the theme of talking to them as well. Like they have grown up on this show, uh, which is so crazy. It's crazy to think about. So, yeah, I can't wait for people to watch and, you know, break, break out that old merch, that old, you could, you could wear it again. You could wear it again. I was, I was going to say, should we, do we need to put the sign back up in the studio? We probably have to bring the sign back out in the studio. I think we, it's here. So it's in here somewhere under that pile. But yeah, we were, we were so mad at it. Yeah. Look at a certain point in it, in like a fit of like, uh, stopping our feet. We're like, oh my God. like, we're taking the sign down. Oh my God. It's too funny. But I love that there are people out there like Chase or whoever that can laugh at those things, um, makes it a whole lot better and also a whole lot better to be ourselves, you know, because I think this is a testament in being able to like be yourself, speak your mind, but then they'll, they'll still call because they remember when you were really such a big fan. Yeah. And that was still M and there was no, like there was never any ill intent. No, no. That's why we were upset because we were huge fans and still are. Never any ill intent. It was so funny. Like on the set, I was just talking about like, cause they obviously knew I was a huge fan, which is why they asked. But then I started like diving a little bit deeper being like, yeah, we like, you know, Dave, like I was like, thank you for all the merch and COVID. They were like, what? I was like, oh shit. Maybe I, have I shared too much? Did I share too? Are we going to get sued? Yeah. I was like, oh fuck. Like, you know, it's, it's coming to an end. So they probably don't care about the merch now. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, the shirts aren't on sale anymore. So we don't sell them anymore. Don't worry. But yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh shit. From colorful tees to cozy sweats and trusted underwear, Fruit of the Loom has earned its reputation through consistency, comfort, and every day. I have to say Fruit of the Loom has been making packing so easy because I got my basics. I got two pairs of Fruit of the Loom sweatpants that I love. They're wide leg. I got white and pink are so comfortable. I also got just basic t-shirts and sports bras that have been so convenient to travel with also for just having like a laid back recording day. I love my Fruit of the Loom basics and people make tens of thousands of decisions every single day. Even small everyday choices can add stress without even realizing it. And that's why simple decisions are so important. I love simple decisions. Especially when it comes to these everyday essentials. And with Fruit of the Loom, that simplicity matters. And that comes into play. The women's underwear is one of those rare things that can make life easier instead of more complicated because of how comfortable they are. Oh my God. New pack of thongs I got. So breathable, so comfy. Can wear them all day long. It makes all the decisions very simple with their consistency, their comfortability, and it's easy to trust. Simple decisions just hit different. And this one's easy. Fruit of the Loom has you covered with a variety of comfortable styles from underwear to sweatshirts to sleepwear and more. So go ahead, shop now, and enjoy one less thing to think about. We are going to Hilary Duff concert on Thursday, which I'm very excited about. So excited. I'm so excited to see it in a bigger setting because I had seen her at the beginning of the year in Brooklyn, which was a very small theater. Um, the theater is awesome. So like now she's taking it to MSG, which is so cool. Uh, which I'm pumped about. It's going to be a lot of fun. Yeah. I haven't seen it yet. So I'm so excited. I did order a bunch of stuff on Amazon. I was cracking up because like my family were on the same Amazon and Gia texted me and was like, uh, what are you dressing up as Lizzie McGuire for? And I was like, um, I'm going to the Hilary Duff concert. So yeah. Wait, do I need to wear, what do I need to wear? Well, I'm just going like early 2000s. Like I got like a Lizzie McGuire t-shirt, maybe some butterfly clips, some little, like some little hair barrette. Like you could do, you could wear like a very cute outfit and do like fun stuff with your hair. You know, I feel like I wanted to do like a little early 2000s. I was looking up on TikTok what people have been wearing. Some people are so fucking funny, like full costume, like either from the Lizzie McGuire movie. Should we go? I saw someone. Lizzie and Isabel? It's too late. It's like, what, what it's, you know, I wish if we knew. Rush costume. We need to rush. Yeah. If we knew we were doing this weeks ago, we would have had the time, um, to really put it together because I never want to half-ass that, that, that look. But I saw people even dressed up as like Jennifer Coolidge's character in a Cinderella story. Like that was like so funny with the towel and the, the got like the suntan, the goggles and shit was cracking me up, but lots of good idea. Yeah. Lots of, lots of good inspo, but I just got excited. I was like, Ooh, I want to be like, you know, maybe some like just early little or early 2000s. Moment. You're inspiring me. Well, I can't wait because you've been before I haven't been. Yeah. And you've, you talk so highly about the concert. So it's just music that you, you know, you hear a song, you're like, Oh, love this song. I can't wait. Your hair looks fabulous. You got your hair done yesterday. It's really not that noticeable. I didn't do too much to it. Um, a little bit more, a little red. Yeah. But it's like, it's that first, uh, I haven't washed it yet. And it's actually like not, it's funny. Cause I've gone back and forth where I would redo it and it would be like really red. And I'd be like, Oh, this is like really red. But now I went and it's like not as red. And I like, wish it was, I wish it was. So I've really gone back and forth, but I don't know doing the roots. Sometimes I go and it's like, when, when the, the woman who does my hair is the owner of the salon. And sometimes she's working on a couple of people at one time. And when I was in the, getting my shampoo and the toner and everything, I was like, someone else was doing it. And I was like, I got a bad feeling. She just didn't leave it on as normally, as long as I normally do. So I felt like I had my roots were sort of way more red than the rest of my hair, but that's okay. It'll all blend in. And if I wash it, once I wash it a couple of times, it all basically like becomes brown anyway. Thank you. I have, I have been liking keeping my hair long, which is funny because when I had my hair short, I was like, I'm never having long hair again. Like it's so much easier to have short hair. And then I wanted to grow it out for wedding stuff. I mean, now this was years ago, but since then I was like, Ooh, I don't think I want to cut it short again. And I look back at it short and I'm like, I don't really like that. So, so keeping it this long, but really the key, like I love getting my hair cut. I know some people really, and, and it's different, have different feelings about it. I have some friends that like haven't cut their hair in years, but I like every normally when I go on color, I do get a little trim just because I just, I love them when it feels healthy. You know, I feel like that's such a, you got to have haircuts to keep it healthy. Absolutely. I think you could pull off both the short and long hair, but I love the way it is right now. Yeah. You know, cause everyone, when they cut their hair really short, they're like, how the fuck did I do that? Like a month or two later. And you know what I also think maybe would maybe be different is because when I was finally actually trying to, uh, take care of myself a little bit more, be healthier, be in the gym. Like, and that was all, a lot of it was pre wedding stuff. And I was also in the process of growing out my hair. So I'm like, Oh, I think I've associated it all together. And I look back at when I had short hair and I was like, man, I could have been doing more. So I don't know, maybe if I cut it again, maybe that'd be different. I also, my hair was really light when I had it short. So I don't know what it would look like darker and shorter. Cause I think that when you first, I had real, I had like blonde highlights with really short hair. Then I had kind of had like orange hair with short hair when you, but when you first dyed your hair this color, you had it a little bit shorter with layers. And that was super cute. I remember the video you put out, it was kind of around this length. Honestly, you think so? I feel like it was a lot shorter. It was like that Connie baby video. I might bring it up right now. No, you know, you're right. But I still think I love your hair right now. And I don't think you should change a thing, but would support you if you wanted to cut it because you could pull it off. I do always kind of have an itch too. And not that my hairstylist is like, not that she's trying to get me to change it up or anything. But when I sit in this hair, she's like, we doing the, you're something different. And like, every time she says something different, I'm like, damn, should I do something different? And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't get crazy. Don't get crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I also think if you're going to do something different, it has to be at the beginning of summer. For sure. Like going into the beginning of any season. Right. It's like beginning of summer, you know, you're going to get a nice golden tan. You're going to do all these and you're going to have fresh hair. Or you're going into like a fall reset. And it's like, yep, I just cut my hair for chic fall. Like there's a, it's a different hairstyle for each season. For sure. It means a different thing. For sure. So, you know. But it's just that feminine itch to like change your hair that you get, you get every once in a while. Everybody, everybody relates. Everybody feels it where you look at it and you just look at yourself or you're sitting in the, in the hair salon chair and you're like, am I about to do something really fucking drastic just to feel something? Like, just to, just to be different and feel something because I haven't done it in a while. And I was like, nah, just, just the usual. I said, maybe next time. Maybe next time. Yeah. Yeah. Don't change anything up right now. Maybe for the fall. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, I gotta think. It can't be a spur of the moment decision. Like I can't be in the chair. A mid-August change? No, a mid-August change. It would have been like, are you okay? There's something else going on and is, do you need to talk about it? A mid-August change is never good. Yeah. Like is summer not going well? It's, it's like June and September are good. Yeah. Mid-August. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. yeah i think and i think every every girl has it too where you're walking to the or however you're getting to your hair appointment and you think current banks should i do the current banks and i'm like no no just you're pushing it you're pushing it i don't need to you don't need to change it up too much so yeah yeah yeah but well it looks gorgeous thanks there is so much drama at the barstool offices going on i have to say like i don't even know how to sum it up for our listeners we don't know what's going on there's no way to sum it up quite literally no way there is so much drama happening yeah yeah and i know and even if you like wanted to figure it out i couldn't even point you in the right direction of where to do it and the biggest problem is i think like everybody knows things but doesn't want to be the one to blow up somebody else's spot yeah um i have found myself in that mindset multiple times where i'm like oh my god if i was an asshole yeah i would just say everything and and i think a lot of people feel that way yeah nobody wants to be the one to be like yeah because times have changed a bit too right and it's wasn't that way before no and it's also just just like i think a lot of people are like why involve myself in something that i'm not involved in just because i know a juicy piece of information yeah yeah you know it's like yeah but you also never know in this place hearsay gossip rumors what's what's accurate what's just a rumor that's been trickled down for how many years that we're like is that even true yeah you know yeah i think that's a lot of that's what's going on right now yeah we did find it was eventually found but the the like tldr of this all is just there's a lot of people hooking up in the chicago office it's been like that for a while uh but you know perhaps some relationships or hookups were coming to light recently and how it was maybe affecting other people's jobs or work or all these things so like a lot of drama over there we were in the new york office we have been sitting and listening to them talk about it on the act all day long this would have been tuesday's episode the act because they've been bringing people in and out trying to like get more details but no one really wants to say anything but everybody totally knows what's going on but no one wants to be the one to be like it's this person and this person so everybody's dancing around it and then um we went and we went and found the email that erica our old ceo had sent in like 2017 that was like this whole long email and then the last paragraph was like you guys are living in you guys are living in new york city there's x million amount of people here like go date outside of the office which by the way is is so funny because that was at a time where i don't think any like nobody knows we know but nobody knows who that email was about no no no publicly yeah because we were not it was not discussed at all during the time that wasn't like a public yeah no it wasn't because it was also like it was all behind the scenes people right and so i think like that's also a funny thing is like people probably saw that email and probably like publicly now saw that email and didn't know it was from 2017 and probably thought it was about me um and that that was not then that was no this was 2017 it was about totally different group of people and it was from about like not content people it's just like literally everybody in the office was hooking up with each other it was just like i don't know it was just one it's so it's crazy and it's like it's not that far off i think for a lot of workplaces it is something that happens and there's always like workplace office romance drama but when it comes to office romance office romance yeah yeah yeah when it comes to the barstool stuff at least recently um it feels that there's been a real tangled web with some of these people and then there's there's just way more people involved you know it's not just like ah two people are hooking up no it's like these two people are hooking up but it's affecting this person this person this person they were hooking up with that person before this person before it's it's just like a way more tangled web to try and follow and i'm just sitting at my desk listening to everybody talk and and i feel like you know gaz is tweeting that he's that he's old he's out of the mix and not knowing what's going on and i'm like me too my jaw's on the floor i'm listening to the young the young girls that we got around us i you know not that much older than them but i'm listening i'm like my god there's so much going on that i don't even know about i know it it really is crazy and i sit back i'm like god i don't remember the days when seriously i don't think i don't think these people in chicago even know no they don't even get they don't even get like with me like they don't get like i'm like or you know not just me but it was multiple people involved but i'm like they don't even you know i don't even know what's going on i don't even know what's going on i don't even know tom brady was in this tom brady was tweeting i'm like yet they're all scrambling over there because they're being called onto the yak i'm like yeah remember the days of the day portnoy show yeah come on yep no but i mean to be fair like i obviously understand what it's like when your personal relationships um everybody's talking about them yeah and you know so um my best advice would be uh you know if you really love somebody you really love somebody and that's really that's really it but i don't know if that's i don't know if that's what's happening no it certainly doesn't seem so uh because the two people that we thought were dating just like got on and were like we're not dating so right so i don't even think i don't even think they're dating yeah and even if they are like texting on the side being like hey like let's not admit to date it's all so confusing really really and it's funny because this involves austin who was dave's you know right hand man so dave is in the mix of it all too and he's trying to figure out what's going on because dave's like i'm lost like this is all happening he had no idea um and that is another added wrinkle into this because when austin is involved everyone else kind of assumes that it could affect them or or if austin feels some type of way about you it could have felt it could affect them at work because dave and austin are so close and dave does ask austin for you know what's going on what does this mean what's that and that could have some sort of effect you know you never know um and so it's all it's all pretty crazy but yeah austin was just on out and about with uh kelly and pat and he just like fully said he had a girlfriend yeah he said he had a girlfriend so now to say that they're not dating well which is why it's crazy because i said to outside i go so does he have like another girlfriend like is that like is the friend another woman like i don't know i texted kelly yesterday and i was like so because kelly knows kelly knows everything kelly knows everything yep and i texted kelly and i was like so was austin caught with hannah but he has another girlfriend because he said on out and about that he has a girlfriend and she goes no i think the girlfriend is hannah and i was like wait what like right i am now they're both saying like they're not dating i think that they just haven't put a label on it but he was probably like technically i have a girlfriend but they haven't put a label on it i don't freaking know somebody's got to stand up there for true love though you know what i mean well that's the thing if you look back you realize you guys did and then it all worked out but we stood up for true love you did and and it worked out and you know i'm gonna put myself uh really take a risk here and say i don't think that this is true love i don't know if this one's true love but we can i don't know if this one's true love maybe they really do i don't know you know but man they're yeah it's i can't judge i can't judge anybody for hooking up with anybody at the office obviously yeah i would never judge that that is not what i'm judging at all no and that's not where it come it is coming from anybody because i think everybody acknowledges people hook up right and that's yeah like i said perfectly fine in my book because you know but like kelly said on the yak and and i stand with this i don't think you could be throwing stones from a glass house and i think often um people do that yeah and i remember at the time when everything came out about me kelly got online and defended me and was like all these people with skeletons in their closet better shut the fuck up yeah and you know yeah i i didn't we didn't say anything about anybody because there's no reason to drag other people into it but oftentimes people will open their mouth when they shouldn't yeah because let's not forget that everybody knows everything yeah and that's just a nice reminder and that's what kelly's trying to get across there that you know if you're gonna open your mouth sometimes you gotta be reminded that we know some shit absolutely yeah you know just a little summer drama spice things up a bit why not you know over there in chicago you know what's it is funny it's like it's been passed on to chicago yeah yeah you know like they gotta deal with that that's not really happening in new york no anymore. Um, but it's also because there's a lot of younger people walk, uh, working in that office now. And, um, it's easy to, when you're in a city where like, I'm sure a lot of them move to, or maybe they're, they hang out with the people in the office. Cause it's obviously it's a workplace, but a lot of it is fun and you create personal friendships and relationships. Yeah. You know, absolutely. So absolutely. Just speaking from, you know, my experience, like not like going, starting to work at Barstool at 19, it was basically like my college, like I wasn't at college with, you know, a bunch of friends and, and whatnot. And then it becomes like, Oh, making a lot of friends here, which I have made some of my best friendships at work too. So yeah, it's not, it's not your normal workplace. No, no, definitely not. No, definitely not. Um, all right. Let's get into today's show. We got some topics and we got the pop corner. We're going to be talking about Bradley Cooper and Gigi Deed potentially married. Seems like they're sporting some rings on their finger. Ariana Grande addresses the story that she's taking a step back from visibility at her Chicago show. Pete Davidson's seen with a Nader sister, Sarah J. Nader. Jax Taylor, fake ad. He got duped. We must discuss it. And Barbie's sequel was in the works, but it seems like it's not taken off due to salaries not being paid and we have the pop corner. So let's get into it. Gosh, I just couldn't get enough of the outshine fruit bars this past weekend at Palm Springs. It was hot, hot, hot. We're talking 120 degrees at certain points, but what did I do? I turned to our freezer that was stocked with outshine fruit bars. We had pineapple and watermelon, two different flavors. And Oh my God, I enjoyed them so much. After every time coming back from being outside, I was like, I need to have an outshine fruit bar. I was like, I need to have an outshine fruit bar. I need to have an outshine fruit bar. They were there waiting for me. It's the number one fruit, frozen fruit bar brand in America. They have fruit bars and mini fruit pops, and they're made with real fruit or juice and simple ingredients that you can pronounce. Every bite tastes like biting into a piece of ripe fruits, juicy, refreshing. It's bursting with flavor and it's a bright and vibrant experience that brings a moment of joy in every bar. And I have to say, I was smiling ear to ear, just out loud being like, this is so amazing. Every time I had an outshine fruit bar. I was smiling ear to ear, just out loud being like, this is so amazing. It's a good source of vitamin C. There's no GMO ingredients, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial colors or flavors. And the flavor lineup is stacked. I already talked about the pineapple and watermelon, but there's strawberry, mango, coconut, cherry, you name it. There's something for whatever you're craving. There's also fruit blends that swirl multiple flavors together. So you're getting the best of both worlds. And outshine makes it easy to experience the joy of fruit. Right now, if you're not having them, you're missing out because we're eating them all summer long. Find out out, find out shine fruit bars at outshine fruit bar.com. At retailers nationwide. So these pictures came out of Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid, and they're both sporting nice little, what seems like wedding bands on their ring finger. And to me, it could only mean one thing. These two got hitched. They got married because I feel like sometimes you'll see a woman wearing a ring on that finger or multiple fingers, and it could just be that she's wearing a ring. Yeah. But Bradley Cooper, who does not wear rings on any other finger, rocking a gold band on his ring finger. I'm like, that man is taken. He is married. They locked it up. And, and they're like doing pap walks being like, we're married. That's the, that's the vibe I'm getting from these pictures. You know, what's just like, so weird to me though, with this is like, if you're going to do the whole pap walk with the rings and have people speculate, you know what you're doing. Just have your publicist be like, we got married in an intimate backyard. Setting and, and it was a beautiful moment. And that's that, you don't, you know, like, it's like this whole, I just think it's kind of funny when, if you really wanted to keep it a secret and didn't want people to know you wouldn't wear the ring. I know that that's part of being mad. It's like, oh, we're married. They want to wear the rings out if they're married, but everyone's going to be like, you're married. So, so just be like, we're married. It's just, it's just, it's such a seamless. Solve instead of keeping it so vague. It would be hilarious if these were like promise rings. Yes, that would be hilarious at, at that grown age. I mean, I guess I'm not going to judge because I think people do that. And that's very nice if you don't want to actually get married and you make that commitment to each other. But I feel as if maybe they did this to cause speculation. And then the article can come out where it's like, okay, we see the pictures. Of them walking with their bands. Let's cause speculation. Then our publicist can then put out an article and be like, confirm Bradley Cooper and GD did get married in an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family. Or they went to the fucking courthouse or whatever they did. Right. Page six wrote because they were photographed in Paris spotting shiny new jewelry. Page six wrote while Gigi and Bradley's reps haven't confirmed or they haven't commented on the rumors that they're officially hitched. Page six styles exclusive exclusively learned that Cooper and Indeed's new. rings are Boucheron wedding bands. Gorgeous. It says the supermodel 31 is wearing the French Jewelers Quatre Radiant Edition wedding band. A $6,450 yellow gold gross grain ring accented by a delicate line of diamonds. Per the website, it's worn as a style. It's worn as a declaration of love, but also of style. And then it says that Bradley opted for the the Godren pink gold wedding band, a distinctive double band design like Gigi's ring. It's available both yellow and pink gold as well as a platinum. The website's rights express expressing eternity through its rounded shape. The Godren wedding band motif evokes the strength of love that binds two people together, describing it as a sparkling wedding band, an internal symbol of the union between husband and wife. I mean, that's just what a wedding band is. That's just what it's just the definition of a wedding band. However, they are just saying that they're just saying that these are the exact rings that they are wearing. Right. So therefore, you would think that they are married. I'm going to go on record and say that I believe that they are because I don't think those two are walking around with these rings on their fingers if they're not married. It seems like they have a nice relationship. And if that's the case, I am happy for them. And maybe we'll find out more. But I think that that was their way of telling the world. I think they were. Like, we're going to do a little pap walk. People are going to capture us. We're going to be smiling ear to ear. We got our gold wedding bands on. And there you go. Yeah. So to me, it's just like, what's more annoying? And I know I kind of felt that felt this way with the Tom and Zendaya stuff, too. It's just like, I understand the privacy and all those things. But if you're going to be out and about with the rings, everyone's going to be speculating. And I think it would be it would solve. But it would be just so quick to be like, we got married. Yeah. But I think Gigi and Bradley are so less in the press than Tom and Zendaya that they would be. Like, this kind of makes sense to me that they're doing a little pap walk. People speculate. And then there will be an article that says, hey, we got married. Whereas Tom and Zendaya were just on every red carpet and every interview promoting all these movies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now Tom is always referring to Zendaya as his wife and confirming that they did get married. But I think very different situations. Right. Bradley and Gigi aren't doing a lot of press. I think that just has to do with timing, though. You know, like, I don't think. Yeah. Like, Tom and Zendaya. Wouldn't have been doing that if they weren't promoting all these movies. Like, Gigi. Right, but at the same time. If Bradley Cooper had a movie that came out tomorrow, he would also be getting these questions. Yeah, but you were defending Tom and Zendaya. But now with Gigi and Brad, you're like, they got to say it. With Tom and Zendaya, you were like, it's OK. They don't want to talk about it. But now with Gigi and Brad, you're like, they need to say it. I do remember saying that. And now I feel like the way that Tom and Zendaya have now just started talking about it, it's like you probably could have saved a lot of this by just being like, we got married. Yeah, now they're so like, Tom's like, my wife, which I love. I love it. He's like so proud that she's his wife, which is so cute. Yeah. But yeah, I could see probably like an article being coming out, being like, yeah, confirmed. Right, right. They're married. Because it's or they're setting it on their own time because they know as soon as they step out being photographed in the rings, people are going to ask about it. So. And smiling ear to ear. They look happy as can be. Yeah, yeah. I'll be honest. I at the beginning of this relationship, I did not think marriage. Like, I did not think that that was the end game for these two. Mm hmm. I don't know. I mean, yeah, because I think the age. Yeah. Difference. But now I feel like they're like, it's been going on for so long and I feel like they both have kids. And no, it's been it's been three years. He was. Did he ever marry Arena? Or they were they were just together? I don't think they were married, right? I don't believe that they were. She's with Devin Booker now, right? Yeah, she's been. Yeah, they have been. I don't think that they were. Doesn't look like it. No, no, no. They were just dating. Started dating in 2015. Daughter was born in 2017. And they split in 2019. Yes. Yes. She was with Ronaldo. I didn't know that. Oh, yeah. I think she's dated. Some of the most famous. They were together for five years before Bradley. That damn. Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper, mix-up. Yeah. Oh, she got engaged to Ronaldo. Flew to New York on Valentine's Day and he proposed to her. Oh. Big romantic gesture. Wow. Yeah. Yeah, she has been seen out with Devin Booker quite a few times lately, so that's probably a new relationship that's happening, but that doesn't surprise me. Yeah. Basketball player. As well. What is the age gap on that one? Arena and Devin Booker? Yeah. Devin is 29. She's a bit older. She's 40. 40. She's 40 and he's 29? Yeah. Nothing. That's basically nothing compared to what we're usually talking about. Yeah, seriously. 11 is a big gap for anyone. I mean, compared to 20, 25. But people always talk about, like, oh, Beyonce and Jay-Z, they have, like, a 12-year, I think, and that's a sizable gap. Well, I think. Not crazy. I think it also depends. It just also depends. It also depends on when you start dating. It also depends the age of when they started dating. Like, Jay-Z started dating Beyonce when she was, what, 19 years old? Yeah, she was, like, really young. And Arena and Devin dating when she's 40 and he's 29. Those are two consenting adults. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It is very close. Beyonce is consenting. Not to say Beyonce wasn't consenting, but she was young. She was young, yes. Yeah. Nick and Priyanka are 10 years, I think? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I think so. There's no Sarah Paulson. I am always absolutely disgusted when I see people on jet skis in the Hudson River. I mean, my God, these people are practically swimming in the water right now. They're stalled. They're stalled in the Hudson. It's hitch. But they're literally in the Hudson, like, not moving. Like, basically swimming in the water. It's grotesque. Have you seen people on the Beast, the boat? Yes. It's disgusting. My friends were saying that they wanted to do it, and I was like, I saw a TikTok of some girl, some girls on it, and, like, while, yes, it looked fun, they're just getting drenched in the Hudson River water. And at one point, the girl's mouth was wide open. Water was going into her mouth. I'm going, ugh. That is disgusting. I can't believe this group that I'm watching right now get off their jet skis and get into the water and back out of their jet skis. If they saw the video that I saw from, like, I think it was maybe last month, there was some sort of leak. There was a situation from, like, a trash facility at the more north on the Hudson River, and it was just dropping toxic waste into the Hudson River. It was disgusting. Oh, God. They got poop mouth. All of them got poop mouth. No, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible. Anyways, anyways, moving on. So Ariana Grande has been on tour right now, and she released a new album and new music video, for Petal. And now this music video came out, and people watched it, including us, and were like, she does not look well. Like, there's no other way around it. And we hate talking about other people's bodies. Hate it. We've talked about it with ourselves, obviously. There's never a right way to go about it, ever. But when it comes to this specific case, I think. I think there's just a lot of worry. Yeah. Like, it's not in a way that's, like, talking, like, it's not like everyone's like, Ariana Grande looks bad or whatever. It's like, there is genuine concern. Yeah. And I think that is very valid. Yeah. Seeing what we're seeing. Definitely. And I know that, you know, her team put out a statement, and the word scrutiny has been used. And. And I. Well, yes, I don't see every corner of the internet and people, you know, everyone's commentary is. It can be crazy, and the commentary on people's bodies can become out of control. And yes, like you said, we certainly never want to be adding to that narrative or doing anything like that because on the other side of it, when it happens to us, it's the worst. You hate it. But because. There's just, like, a situation where because she is such a talent and such a icon and such a role model to so many people and to so many young girls and women that it feels crazy to not acknowledge that something feels not right. Yeah. And that seems to be the case from. From what we are seeing. And I know that there's. There's so many people that have chimed into this conversation and their TikTok, and it's been going on for a while. And we've kind of stayed away from bringing it up on the show because these conversations have been going on for a couple months now, if not longer, probably, you know, longer, realistically. But it's gotten to the point where her team put out this statement and she's taking a break from the public opinion. And she's taking a break from the public opinion. And the statement is a little bit of a different tune than what she has. what she said herself on stage at her show in Chicago. But the statement, it said, Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour. She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless ongoing public scrutiny. This tour has been a beautiful, beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and is loved every minute of this tour. A source close to Grande tells People of the Singer, she performs a very physical show and there's a lot of athleticism involved. She performs healthily and successfully at a very high level night after night. And she will not be appearing in Sunday in the park with George that she was going to be doing next summer with Jonathan Bailey. She will be stepping away from that from that project. And I am a little surprised by the wording of this statement. I'm not going to lie. I think that when you see this happen, you think like, well, who in her orbit is helping? Is anyone helping? Is there enabling behavior going on? What is happening? And I think the statement of like really trying to hit home that she's performing every night healthily, just it's hard to believe because at the same time you're like, oh, she's taking a step step back. But she's had this she's had this play announced for a while that she was going to do this, you know, so then Ariana went on stage and she kind of said that like two things can be true and she was always planning on stepping away after this time. Which I do remember her saying like during Wicked Press that like she was going to do this tour and then afterwards she needed a break. Like I remember her kind of saying that. But at the same time, I don't know if that if she would have signed on to do that project if this was like always the full plan of taking this long of a break and whatever. I feel like we're just sort of getting half-truths here and there and not really like the full explanation what is going on. I am hoping that whatever is happening behind the scenes for her during this break is her, you know, taking care of herself and hopefully getting whatever help she needs in doing that. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, the whole conversation is extremely sad and there are so many people out there, men and women, who deal with eating disorders and I think that right now, you know, you can't 100% say this is what's happening with her. Yeah. But that is the speculation. Then there are, which is so sad and it's a very, very serious thing. But there's also people being like, what if she is sick? What if she's dealing with something that we don't know about? And these are all things that are being brought to the surface and lots of concern. And I think that's something that's why people kind of want answers because they're like, we're seeing her get on stage every night and her fans and people who love her and everybody else are just genuinely concerned. Like, everybody just wants the best for her. It is sad, you know, seeing, going back to, I've seen a lot of her, you know, diehards talk about this, that there was a period of time where she was being called fat and fat, and they were making up nicknames for her. And obviously absurd. And we've talked about this a bunch. And how much that can affect somebody who's getting on stage in front of a crowd every single night. You still hear it in her lyrics still. And like the whole point of the music video she just put out, like there's a moment in the pedal music video that it's like the notes and it's like, you know, notes written down and part of it says like, you know, needs to lose, could lose some pounds or something. Yeah, could afford to lose some pounds. Yeah. Which is so terrible. And it was an inside look into probably everything she's dealt with behind the scenes. But at the same time, having that note with the visual of what she looks like. Yeah, it's jarring. I think people are like, it sends a message to like, you know, I see this conversation of people who are very healthy being like, do I need to lose? Like, is that what I should be looking like? So there's just so much conversation about it. And it's a very serious thing. And it's very sad. And there's obviously, you know, I even saw KJ Apa talk about this recently. That he was dealing with a lot of this on the set of Riverdale. And it is a problem amongst men and women, you know, everywhere. And it's very sad and very serious. And so I just feel. Great concern, honestly. And I feel very sad. And scrutiny is a different way to put it. And I'm sure there are people who are being fucked up and mean about this. Yeah. Rather than being concerned. Because people just go to being mean instead of being like, I just feel bad. And that part of it is just very, very upsetting as well. So I really just hope the best for her. And I hope. That if there is something going on, which it seems like there is, that the necessary steps are taken. Yeah, because. Because this. I can't. I refuse to believe. And this may sound messed up. That this is healthy. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, that does not add up to me. It doesn't add up to me. And I won't. I will not believe that. Yeah. Yeah, I think that's super fair. It also seems like perhaps they're not all on the same page behind the scenes. Right? Because I think if Ariana's team is putting out a statement like that. In the afternoon. That's like from her rep to all major media outlets. And then she gets on stage a mere hour. You know, mere hours later. And is like. Or what it was. Maybe it was the day after. So a day later. Saying that the announcement that was made yesterday was not a reactive or impulsive thing. It's something that I had decided to plan quietly a long time ago. It's very different from what it felt like the message from the rep was. That was like, because of all this discourse right now, she is stepping away. Like, that's how that came across. And I don't know. I don't know if that was deliberate from her team's point to try and put blame on the people speaking about her. You know? Yeah. Like, this is your fault that she's doing this. It did kind of feel that way. Instead of like how Ariana's trying to say it to an arena of her fans. Of like, I've been planning this already. This is not a reactive, impulsive thing. Like, I have loved being in these rooms with you and doing these shows and all these things. Which I think is fair. And. She said, No matter what noises exist out there, nothing will be able to distort my reality or be more real to me or not as real to me as this love that we share. Like, I imagine there is such a battle for her right now of what's going on behind the scenes. And like, truly enjoying doing these shows and seeing her fans and putting out new music. And enjoying those things. But at the same time, clearly. Clearly, there are other issues at play. So. She's such an incredibly talented, once-in-a-lifetime, generational talent. And I. I think everybody just wants the best for her. And how could you not? I mean, she's also been through so much. And I'm just hoping. I'm just really hoping, you know, for the best for her. And I hope whatever is going on behind the scenes. Yeah. Is her taking care of herself going forward and after this tour. Yeah. This podcast is brought to you by No Bull. Just a quick little tidbit. Here, Pete Davidson. The man can't be stopped. He was seen with Sarah Jane Nader. Yes. She is the youngest of the Nader sisters. They were out in Brooklyn. Now, someone. TMZ did write that they are just friends. Someone from Pete's side and someone. I'm sure. I'm sure they are. Someone from Pete's side and someone from Sarah Jane's side. Margot Robbie also said that. Both said. Just said that they are just friends. It was. Let me see if I can find it. Real. Like. Well, a married guy can't have friends? He's. It's a quote. It's a Wolf of Wall Street quote. Oh, I get what you're saying. Okay, yeah. So TMZ had originally ran with headline, Major First Date Energy. Cozy Private Dinner for Two. A source familiar with the situation tells TMZ that Pete took Sarah to dinner Monday night at Campania in Brooklyn. They were told the pair quietly slipped inside through the kitchen. Pete picked up the bill. And the two spent a couple of hours dining in a private room away from the other customers. We're told Pete and Sarah were all over each other throughout the meal and appeared extremely comfortable together. Our sources say the outing gave off major first date energy and the two looked happy and seemed to hit it off. Now, however. The 10 a.m. update that came today was. A source with direct knowledge tells us the two are just friends. So it's like funny. It's like that whole article is written but like the update is at the top. It just says a source with direct knowledge tells us the two are just friends. Well, they could be friends that are going to dinner and banging. You know what I mean? Certainly could. It doesn't have to mean that they are automatically dating now. Yeah, certainly could. I don't know. I mean, if you're going to dinner in a private room. Yeah. I don't know if friends do that very often. No, I'm with you on that. With you on that. And I think that this is just the first of many we'll see date one of the Nader sisters, you know? It's just line them up because everybody is good. At this point, like those girls could date whoever they wanted, truly. They're all so stunning and funny. Yeah, they're the best. So, I mean, we're also. It's not like a big shocking thing that hot girl is out with Pete Davidson at this point in time. Right, exactly. And it's kind of just like par for the course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, okay. Apparently him and his baby mama Elsie reached a cell phone. They had a settlement about them co-parenting. That's good. So maybe he went to a celebratory dinner with Sarah Jane to celebrate the couple's agreement on co-parenting. Yes, yes, definitely. He said, I don't got the baby tonight. Let's go to dinner. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, moving on. Jax Taylor. This is just a hilarious, hysterical story. This is hysterical. Jax Taylor received a fake invitation to promote sex. Smartwater, in which he went through all the final steps to make a video with Smartwater, put it on his Instagram, do hashtag ad, add Smartwater, the whole shebang, just to find out this was not a real ad. This was not a real promotional invite from Smartwater. And they were like, we did not do this. This is an unreal story. And really, I feel like the lengths that people go to at this point are pretty much the same. It's pretty insane. Like, it kind of felt like Jax was implying that Britney set him up for this. I couldn't quite get a full read on the whole thing, but he posted a whole statement on Instagram. And it said, a few weeks ago, I accepted what I believed was a legitimate campaign opportunity through a third-party influencer platform like many creators use. I received the offer, emails, creative brief, and deliverables. I trusted a platform that turns out not to be legitimate. He continued, as soon as I was notified that the campaign was unauthorized, I removed the content immediately. I've never and would never intentionally misrepresent a partnership um what's been most upsetting is seeing an honest mistake become pure entertainment in an attempt to humiliate me because i guess britney had spoke about it on on the podcast regardless of where we stand personally we're still the parents of a young child and there should be a certain level of respect let me just say that i don't think britney came up with this no but if she did that is a level of genius that needs to be applauded setting up your ex with a fake ad to humiliate him does she have a steak in smart water no no i don't think britney came up with this but if she did i have to applaud her because this is that is some prank to pull on your ex i mean wow it also appears that the platform that he was sent was either called video force.ai or he like rendered something himself but if you're getting a campaign invitation and you have to click on a link that's video force.ai i'm i might be questioning the the legitimacy of that platform and then i have to ask myself what kind of pr person is laurie that he's dating that let him do this right right didn't snip this one out person are you that didn't realize that this was a fake ad and on that video somebody asked him if he could be the next bachelor and he said he was taken so i i this isn't really good credibility for your pr business either yeah if you're letting this one fall through the cracks this is this was so so classic jack steller oh and like i don't know you've been trying to good some good old-fashioned fun and even like naming britney in his whole statement feels like fairly unnecessary because it's like because people online were talking about it because then he deleted the ad because brit smartwater dm britney was like we didn't do this yeah smartwater was like we need to make sure our name is not attached to zendaya and jack some of these comments are it goes so jacks taylor thought we were all going to believe that smartwater whose current brand ambassador is zendaya would hire him to do an ad it's so perfectly jacks taylor i drake meme where or the drake and josh meme where it's like megan but it's just britney britney too freaking good while we're on the topic of these people i did start i did start watching house of stassi and i'm pretty deep into it and man do i have a lot of thoughts i don't know at what cost you go on to be like this is just who i am without changing some of it like yes you should absolutely own who you are and be honest and upfront but then on the other side of that like there are things that we need to change as human beings when they're not good you know like it's almost like when someone's like i'm just brutally honest it's like well can you be nicely honest do you have to be yeah do you have to be a dick like there it's it's just i understand where stassi is coming from with wanting to make a great tv show my problem with it is i like the breaking of the fourth wall i don't like the breaking of the fourth wall for every single scene because it feels like a reality show about making a reality show like it's just about the making of a reality show while making a reality show yeah it's almost too much to me where i like the breaking of the fourth wall but i feel like we could have done a little bit less yeah of that because i don't know how sustainable it is season after season to be like we're making a reality show right let's talk about making a reality show the entire time i think you should absolutely let the viewer in on some things and i think that's a great aspect of it i think letting the viewer in on inside discussion is great but i like to kind of see things play out also and it just felt like so much yeah of it was that and then on the other side of that like the mention of chris jenner in every episode didn't need to happen we like i we get it i that was really frustrating to me you want to be chris jenner that's great i don't think that we need it every single episode to be said multiple times i'm like we this is this is just repetitive and then also love when somebody owns who they are that's an amazing thing but but then at what cost of like when you're being extremely rude do you go i should probably maybe change this a lit like in some situations i may be wrong and i maybe need to be like a little bit less like that you know it's some of it i'm just like that's just plain old root and like you should be who you are but we're also human beings that should be able to like change you know like i'm i'm grappling with that a bit yeah that's that's fair i i will say i actually think like i think i like it because you can't really half-ass break the fourth wall in a way that isn't going to make you questioning every scene moving forward like i don't think that they like i don't think stassi could be joking being like ah we need katie back you know like to make a good show and then not acknowledge like perhaps they are stirring the pot with katie for those reasons or they're looking to make good tv all these things it is weird it's weird to watch because we never watched it before but i think it is continually brought up because if it wasn't us as viewers we're not going to be able to watch it because we're not going to be able to watch it all be watching being like they're all they're faking this shit anyway you know like it's like like we'd be like oh they're just trying to cause shit for drama when in reality they are trying to cause shit for drama and and like saying they're trying to cause shit for trauma yes absolutely i just felt like it could have been a little bit like we got the i felt like we understood the point yeah yeah and and then it didn't need to be explained in every single scene right it just from what i've been watching it just felt like it was brought up in every scene and i'm like i don't think we need to address it in every single scene of the show yeah i like it but i think less was my point of view also i'm like they're so i thought katie brought up some valid points about them being like mad that she's on the show but then they're on the show and i'm like what you're all on it for this reason yeah i don't know i i'm still trying to decide how i i'm obviously watching all of it so clearly they got me in and i'm and i'm talking about it and that's exactly what the purpose of it is i just don't know at what cost of like your relationship that you want to be in forever as well that you acknowledge but then you also i think both both of them have things that they are need to acknowledge that they're doing and that's why i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i think it was christina kelly who was like you don't get you don't kiss him in the morning like it takes two seconds and she's like no and i'm like what like she's like i have to write it in my notes to do that i'm like that is insane that's an insane thing that you have to remind yourself to kiss your husband like that's not good that's that's bad yeah um and i don't know like i just i'm i'm going back and forth and like loving people who own who they are but on the other side of that it's okay to you don't have to change the core of who you are but you can change certain you know maybe i need to do this or do that i don't know their their family her sister was frustrating me as well and i'm like i i you know on that side of it i'm like yeah stassi's taking care of you and you seem pretty ungrateful yeah i'd be pretty frustrated too i think yeah yeah from so from stassi's end right so it's i'm not saying that i disagree with every single thing stassi did or said on this show that's not yeah what is being said it's more just like some of it i'm like i feel like we could hit like heal it back a little bit like uh you know some of it just is you know i explained it enough yeah that's how i feel about it super fair i would like to say though i do love to see how hard of a worker she is and how much she is trying to get stuff off the ground and like putting her all into that i think it's amazing to see i love seeing women fulfill their dreams and like really go for it and be like i'm saying yes to everything and i'm taking on every opportunity and i'm crushing it here here here everywhere um i i love that aspect of it i think it's more like a lot of the personal stuff i'm just like i can't wrap my head around someone no definitely but i think there is realness into showing like when you are so dedicated that it is something maybe lacking like there there it's very hard to be 100 in everything so like and she and she knows that which is which i do appreciate her acknowledging it's like i am like so gung-ho on my job right now that like there is aspects of being a wife of being a mother that i could be be better at and i know that um right i remember an interview recently that i saw and i forget who it was but she was like a marriage specialist or something just talking about like how we love or maybe it was there i've seen it a couple times from a marriage a marriage like expert expert i put in quotes and maybe it was like emmy rossum who was she was recently on call her daddy and i want to say talking about it too where it's just like the idea of wanting and wanting to have it all and like being the perfect mother wife professional like all these things it's just it's very hard to do at one time and like that is not talked about as much as like encouraging and everyone should because you should be able to do it all but it is very very hard to be amazing amazing in all aspects yeah it is incredibly hard and i think that she does show that and i do like that aspect of it i think it's maybe just her attitude towards some things i'm just like that's i i'm like i don't love that no and i mean look her offering to pay beau the amount of money that he would make if he went back to his job is like extremely insulting right it's like i i just think like i think this is a crazy thing to say to your spouse who clearly just wants like to do something for himself yeah exactly there's just some little things where i'm just like and then the the like i said the breaking of the fourth wall too much but um all right moving on last topic barbie sequel was in the works but it doesn't seem like it's moving forward because they do not want to pay margot robbie and ryan gosling which is insane because this movie did so extremely well it was a box office hit they won awards for it or i mean ryan gosling won awards which is so like ironic considering the message of the movie and then ryan gosling's the one who ends up winning the award for it but moving on they don't want to pay them yeah warner brothers has until december to reach a deal with the stars of the film as well as greta gerwig before the rights revert back to mattel the studio has been negotiating with the principal town for months offering them as chair of the profits if the film reaches certain box office milestones the outlet also claims that warner brothers discovery ceo david zaslov declined to approve the proposed deal because he believed it was quote too generous um the times want to report that a warner brothers spokesperson disputed that characterization saying talent represent representative representatives decline an offer made in may and have not yet submitted a counter offer so it's really gone back and forth we don't really know uh like they have just have not been able to reach an agreement on that number barbie grossed 1.5 billion dollars worldwide which you know is a is a massive massive number and the rumors are that i guess maybe some of the talent wants like in the tens of millions i mean the rumor is that ryan gosling wants 20 million dollars to play ken again considering how much money that movie made yeah i can see their argument of like we deserve more money right when you start throwing numbers out about how much these actors make though you go oh my god but you know putting that conversation to a side right just focus like if i'm a executive sitting in a room right now like or if i'm ryan gosling or margot robbie sitting in a room right now i'd be like well this movie made x amount so i deserve this much amount for the next one if you're going to be making this much money off of it right you know you're making that much money off me i deserve more money yeah 20 20 million dollars is the reported rumor for ryan and we're unsure about margot and gretta but it was probably up there too and honestly sorry like if ryan gosling's making 20 to play ken like margot robbie deserves the same if not more so that's like well no she she deserves more she's barbie the name of the movie is barbie um so this article says if a deal is reached the new york times reports that it will take years for barbie to hit theaters though apparently greta gerwig uh and noah bombach have made it clear in negotiations that they have a story they want to tell and are ready to begin writing that said they reportedly won't tell the studio what the idea is or begin writing until after contracts are signed which fair you know why would you start writing if the contracts aren't signed or tell them what your is before the contracts are signed but clocks ticking so sounds like if they don't figure it out in a couple months then it's it maybe just doesn't happen which like maybe isn't the worst thing in the world either because you know barbie is great i barbie was a great movie is it one where i'm like holy shit that movie needs a sequel probably not no i think it could be a great standalone movie i think it was awesome and yeah amazing and sometimes we don't need a sequel yeah and but i would take one right and they all want like the studio obviously is gonna want one because it's gonna make a shit ton again and i think gret is fantastic so she like i think whatever idea they have would be good and make sense and be cohesive it's just like it's so crazy that that if we're dealing with a movie that had originally made one and a half billion dollars that were and i know these you know they're big they're big asks for these big stars but like i don't really know where what why you wouldn't sign sign on that but these these studio execs i guess they got to draw the line somewhere yeah it doesn't it doesn't make sense though when you find out how much they're making so yeah yeah yeah so we'll see good but the clock is ticking and it doesn't feel super promising slots fans the wait is over lightning link is into it hi rufin and noah this is adrian from westchester county i just left another voicemail but i broke character and started laughing anyway my hot take isn't pop culture and it is that listening to an audiobook does not count as reading me and my boyfriend always kind of get into this debate because we thought about doing our own personal book club but he listens to audiobooks and i actually read books i don't think it's the same thing let me know if you agree or not and go birds fran go birds i love that she said i actually read them um i i do like understand the aspect of this of like if you are listening to something you are not reading you know but like you are still consuming the book so when it comes to like doing a book club you still got you still retained all the information to to talk about the book like so i think like you can consume the book however you choose audiobook or not like that shouldn't be like a requirement for a book club it's like you can you can consume the book however you want but you you are not reading you could be doing other stuff you could be cleaning like you're not fully like yes right when you are reading a book physically you're not doing anything else you are literally just reading the book yes i think though on the point of a book club you can absolutely listen to it for sure on audio and still have the discussion i think you should let him do the book club with you because i think he's still consuming the book and we should just be grateful for that as a whole yeah what i mean like the fact that he's even listening to the book yeah um i think is great on that note i did resign from the book club yeah yeah yeah just to throw it out there ria's out of book club i resigned it just wasn't for me we got a good we got it look we got a good couple months out of her that's all you just have to be honest with yourself and be like is this me yeah and it wasn't it it wasn't i couldn't keep up i couldn't keep up and everybody should go follow and listen to same page book club because you guys crush it and genuinely love having discussion yes about these books yes um and some of us read and read them and some of us listen to them that is true that is very true it is totally a big listener kelly is a big listener um because i feel like kelly like needs to be doing multiple things at one time often uh and really you can consume it any way you want i i i get it if you're if you if you have someone who's trying to say to you like i'm a big reader and you're like oh are you and then and then they say like they're just doing audiobooks i'd be like well if you listen to audiobooks how do you how do you speak on like if someone said talking about a book and you go oh i read that you wouldn't say oh i read that you would say i listened to it yeah yeah okay yeah as long as you're not saying like no i do think sometimes people do that like sometimes they're like oh i read that one yeah like and they're like they they did like they were listening to it but if you're open if you're honest about it you're like oh i listened to it then yeah that's totally fine the stories are so great you want them to be consumed like however you want to consume them but you can't be out here saying you're you're reading when you're if you're just like an if you're an audiobook person because you're listening yeah that's fair very fair but all can participate in a book yes yes let him participate absolutely all right moving on hi ria fran noah and olive first of all i just want to tell you guys i love you so much i've been listening since almost the beginning and you guys are the best i feel like we're best friends um anyways i'm gonna say anonymous because this is quite a hot take and i'm so sorry if this encompasses you guys because i know you got married recently um but my hot take is that destination weddings are a huge like major inconvenience for everyone attending um and i just like i've heard the different reasons why couples choose to have a destination wedding and it still just feels like it's such a major inconvenience um i have not gone to a few friends weddings because one was in mexico i live in new england one was in mexico one is on the in the west and mind you all of them live like the friends that i'm having that have these destination weddings weddings live near me like all in the same like one to two states um so it's just and their reasoning seems to be that only the people that are really close with them will end up going but i don't think that's fair because who has the you know the money to go to all these different destination weddings and also the time out of work uh instead of it just taking like a weekend now it's going to be like a whole week um event and yeah it's just it's just super inconvenient and i want to know your thoughts love you guys bye love you too here's the thing i think that if you are a couple who's choosing to have a destination wedding you need to be aware of these feelings because yes it is an inconvenience if you call it straight how it is it is an inconvenience to some people who maybe can't have the time off from work maybe don't have the money for the travel they have to go out of their way to plan to get to a destination it can be a major inconvenience it can also be for some guests a time where they're like this is a great time to maybe parlay this into a vacation this is a great time to get away i'm excited to go celebrate this couple there's there's multiple sides and i think everybody is valid in their own feeling about it and i think if you are the couple who's choosing to have a destination wedding you need to be okay with people feeling a certain way about it you want to choose to do it that's your absolute right to get married in the way you want to do it if you want to have a destination wedding fucking go for it that's your right but you also have to be okay with people feeling a certain way about it that's my take on it yeah i mean i had a destination wedding so it's like it's it's it's a i know you're looking at me like i didn't have a destination wedding i did have a destination i don't think of your that as a i guess it is but like it is because everybody had to travel there so that's not like to me like a destiny yeah but it's a destination for everybody else like it's everybody has to travel because like you have to take a boat yeah i mean yeah playing i mean you have to fly no one's close yeah but i also think it's less of a it is destination wedding but it is not in the way that you're making people fly to like italy or mexico or those kinds of destination weddings which are which takes so much more time i'm sure you know like went to your wedding who live in new england yeah so like it's not crazy no it wasn't it wasn't a crazy destination but still someone who's like you know like you know like you know like you know like you know like somewhere that requires travel it's not in the neighborhood where we live or most of our or most of our family lives right but people could get there the day before you know what i mean like whereas if you're going to italy or whatever that's taken up a whole week of time for sure you're you're planning that into something else it it really is up it really is up to the couple getting married and like you said i i think most people who do plan a destination wedding or like a wedding abroad let's say are very much know that there are some people that are going to complain about it or not want to do it and and that's okay like right but i don't think i don't think you should knock the couple for choosing a destination wedding you know you know like there's like it's hey i might i don't think i'd be able to go but you guys have an amazing time like i'm so happy for you that's like their choice i'm so happy for you that's like their choice i'm so happy for you that's like their choice because i think sometimes then the the couple maybe gets shamed for the choice and like that's not really fair because that's you know that's what they want to do but i guess if you're like a bridesmaid or groomsman you have to go basically like you you can't just be like oh sorry i can't make it like if you're one of her good friends like you have to go yeah yeah yeah but then that goes into the conversation of like if you can't if you genuinely can't afford it or whatever then you have to be honest with your friend and be like hey i i i you know happens yeah and if you're in the wedding party i think you are close enough with that person that you have some idea that that's what they're planning or they want to do that like and i think like like you said it's not a these assholes are getting married here yeah yeah it's like no unfortunately it's going to be an inconvenience for me and i can't make it but have the best time because at the end of the day it's absolutely up to what the couple wants yeah and the couple is just gonna have to be like this is what we want to do either you can make it and that's great and if you can't i'm so sorry and thank you for even considering and i'm pro for people you know making their making their choice if they want to travel go right ahead just from my own personal experiences i've had some amazing trips around my friends weddings and places that i i wouldn't have been or gotten to go to that have been like so much fun and it's been such a great trip totally understand for other reasons if you can't if you can't make that happen um but i like wouldn't say oh my oh my god like we haven't wanted we have so many to go to it's there's so the all these things because at the end of the day like i feel a lot of people end up having a great time there are of course so many other factors that that come into play but sometimes you gotta you gotta switch it up for for the wedding even just thinking if we went polar opposite and it's like oh everybody that you knew kept their wedding local you'd be going to the same wedding over and over and over and over again um which like isn't isn't a bad thing either but they i just think it's fun like i think it's fun to have i don't know different places to go to and seeing like different choices people make um and mixing it up but no matter what like most weddings would be considered somewhat of an inconvenience for some people like no matter where they are it takes up your whole weekend unless it's like unless it's in your city but even then you know it's your that is your whole weekend well no i don't think if it's in your city you're not in the party it's like a day if i have a if i have a wedding in new york and i'm it's a wedding on a saturday night in new york i'm not like oh this is a major inconvenience for me no no no no no it's like that would be no but now with the way weddings are it's like it's most weddings a lot of times weddings are a three-day of a three-day affair yeah but like for ria's wedding it was like if you if they weren't like doing the pre-wedding festivities or the day after stuff like that is just like the night saturday night for them yeah for the most part yeah yeah yeah it's not like everybody does like you know the whole thing it's just it really comes down to what you can and can't do and being able to do what you can and can't do and being able to do what you can and being able to acknowledge that some people are going to be able to do some things that you can't and vice versa you know so all right just like not a personal like it just i don't think it should be a personal attack to to anybody no no planet fitness is a judge free environment where you're free to get strong your way on your time. Hi, this is Taylor from San Diego, and I am shocked that we have not yet seen anything about Taylor Swift's wedding. I'm actually scared that we never will. What do you think? Do you think that it's going to be like a. I don't know. Is she ever going to say it? Is she going to collab it with a new album or what? I have no idea, but I am shocked that we haven't yet seen anything, and I'm scared that we won't ever. Also, 100% want you to do a Chicks in the Office and the Basement Yard collab. I love both of you guys so much. I would love to see you guys both come together. Okay, thanks. Love you. Bye. By the way, they didn't follow back. Not that we were expecting them to, but they didn't. Fair. And no Hey Jonas mentioned yet. No. No Jonas Moses mentioned yet. No knowledge of the 1,000th episode. Maybe they pre-taped their episodes. Right, right. So true. I think we will see stuff. I just, I don't know when, but I think there'll be something. If anything down the line, like a new album comes out and maybe there's like bits and pieces included. Album cover. Album cover. Yeah, maybe not album, maybe not album cover, but like. That'd be kind of sick though. I could see her, I could see her like making a new music video and it's like in a house and there's like a framed photo in the back of the music video that people have to like pause and zoom in and be like, oh my God, is that Taylor and Travis at their wedding? I could so see that. Or let's put up three vinyls on taylorswiftmerch.com and you got to buy the vinyls to find and to see the. Yeah, exclusively at Target. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Also very possible. I do think that we'll see them one day. I think that they are so in love and love sharing it with the world. And that's a beautiful thing. And I think that they had no problem doing that for their engagement and they waited a little bit to share that. So they're probably just still, you know, soaking in that honeymoon bliss. I know that I think Travis is back at camp, training camp for the season, and maybe they're just want to soak it in and have it to themselves and not have it. Not have, because they know people are going to commentate on what they feel about the wedding pictures. And sometimes you're just not in the mood to deal with that. And you're like, I want to soak it in and be happy about our, our wedding and our pictures. And I don't want the outside noise. And I respect that, that decision, if that's the way they're going to go with it. And it's only been about a month. Maybe she's got that standard wedding photographer situation where she hasn't, you know, she hasn't gotten all of her pictures back yet. I would bet my life that's not the case. No, it's. It's not the case at all. She had those pictures the day after. I'm joking, obviously, that, but yes, you know, any other normie out there, you know, you got to wait to get your pictures back. She's saying, this is bullshit. I better get a discount. I want my money back. Where did this confetti come from? Do you remember? What is that from? Honestly, it's from the 1000 episode, but I have been seeing things fall on you and I'm like, where is it? Like, how is it landing on me? Is it like on the light or something? Maybe on the, on the. Yeah, I've been seeing things. It's fallen friend. And I thought I was just imagining that in my head. I just look all this. It's like a lot of confetti was just all in my shirt. I thought I was seeing things because I did see things like falling on me. Yeah. So much of it. Wow. I'm sorry. I'm trying to figure out what I was just quoting while you guys talk about that. Is that for wedding crashers? He doesn't say I want my money back, but he says, I want my back. He wants, I, he like, I want my something back. And he like a wedding photographer. No, are you just saying? Mean girls. I want my pink shirt. Oh, I want my pink shirt back. It's mean girls. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm going, yeah. I thought, I don't know what I was quoting. Yeah. Yeah. I want my pink shirt back. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's what it was. Damn. All right. That wraps up the pop corner. Keep calling in with your hot takes, your voicemails, your opinions. We love hearing them. Call us at the pop corner. All right. That wraps up today's episode of chicks in the office. Thank you so much for watching and listening. We love you guys so very much. And we'll talk to you on Friday. This is a long time listener. First time caller. Look at the charts. Who does it the best? Two chicks getting paid in reality checks. You can find them at the gym. It's not even a flex. Last minute red carpet flew them out on the jet. Yeah. They're who you want to be. They're always on your screen. Two queens and they might be spilling royalty. A lot of topics that are popping here to get into. I know a show that you probably want to listen to. Turn the beat up. Record the pod, made a bag, put their feet up. The ones that leave no crumbs when they clean up. Who's the pod that they all want to meet up? Who turned the heat up? Turn the beat up. Who's the pod that they all want to meet up?
