Welcome.
This is a meditation that I'm calling,
two kinds of certain.
Because anxiety and intuition can feel almost identical in the body sometimes.
Both arriving as a kind of certainty and asking to be trusted.
This meditation helps you tell them apart by feeling where each one actually lives.
Whether a tight, urgent grip,
low in the belly that scans for danger,
or quiet, unhurried knowing
that maybe rests higher near your crown.
Every body is different and awareness and discernment are key.
But rather than explaining the difference,
the practice guides you through places in your own body so you can build a map.
Breathing between the two centers until they stop competing for the same voice.
This is for anyone who's learned to move fast on fear and second-guess the quieter signal.
And who's ready to trust their own intuition again.
So let's settle in.
I'm going to go ahead and look at some of the questions that have been asked.
I'm going to go ahead and write down some of the questions that have been asked in the chat box.
I'm going to look at some of the questions that have been asked in the chat box.
And I'm going to look at some of the questions that have been asked in the chat box.
Feel the support beneath you.
And as you begin to connect to your breath, allow yourself to receive, sinking a little
deeper into the surface beneath you.
Close your eyes if that feels comfortable, or let your gaze soften and become unfocused.
Know that your face can stop working so hard and that nothing here needs an expression.
Take a slow breath in through the nose and let it go gently.
Let's do that again, inhaling and letting go, allowing a sigh if the body wants to.
Allow your breath to settle in naturally, knowing that its intelligence is always there
without you doing anything.
eyebrows. Further still, all the way up to the crown of your head. Take your time getting there.
As you breathe, notice if there's any difference here.
Often this place can hold still and unhurried and be quiet in a way
that the other anxious feeling, lower down in the body, never learned to be.
If anything true lives here, it tends to arrive quietly, sometimes almost mystically,
because you've spent
so long.
This arrival can be almost too quiet to trust at first,
because you've spent so long associating loudness with importance.
But loud has never been the same as true.
See if you can find
a single, simple knowing up there.
Something that's already present.
The way a room is already lit before you notice the lamp.
It might be a feeling about a person, or a next step you should take.
A sacred yes or no.
That doesn't come with a case built for it.
Whatever it is, let it stay small and unhurried.
It doesn't need convincing to be real.
Perhaps this place has been quiet for a while,
because the noise below it,
was louder and closer, and demanded to be handled first.
It never actually stopped speaking.
A nervous system prioritizes threat over insight, every time.
Staying safe, always outranked, staying wise.
Which is simply how
your deep knowing, your intuition, always ended up waiting it's turn.
Feel the difference in texture between the two places.
The first and the second are the same, but the two places are different.
The first tight, fast, and certain, and the way a slammed door is certain.
The second, your intuition, open, slower, certain,
The first and the second are the same, but the two places are different.
The second and the second are the same, but the two places are different. Move with patience and presence.
Location won't settle every question, but you've learned to begin to map the body, and
you can trust it a little more each time you check in.
Over time this gets easier.
The gripping place stays part of being human and never fully disappears, although you'll
recognize its voice faster and stop mistaking its urgency for wisdom as time goes on.
You'll be able to give the quiet place more room.
To finish its sentence before the loud one interrupts, and the more often you're able
to do that, the more the people around you get to meet the parts of you that only show
up once you trust yourself enough to let them speak.
Thank you so much for being here today and mapping your intuition with me.
