Speaker 1Praise God. Are you ready for God's Word? Thank you, Jesus. Are you ready? All right, shall we pray? We are grateful to you, Abba Father, for what you've done for us in Christ. Thank you for having chosen us in you before the foundations of the world. And in your love, you predestinated us. Thank you for all the riches of your glory and all that you are to us. Tonight, we receive your Word. The pure Jews, the spiced pomegranate, the riches of your Word, the finest of wheat, the fat of kidneys. We receive that engrafted Word of God which is able to save our souls. Blessed Holy Spirit, you are moving, you are brooding. We receive impartation, the spirit of wisdom and revelation. And we know we are transformed to the praise of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. - Amen. - Hallelujah. - Hallelujah. - So turn with me to Genesis 3:10. I'm speaking to you on a subject, how to be free from fear. You can call it antidote to fear.
Speaker 2Hallelujah. Praise God. - Praise God. and he said, I heard thy voice in the garden,
Speaker 1and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself. So when Adam sinned, when man fell as a result of sin in Eden, the first words that ever came out of the mouth of the fallen man was, I was afraid. Can you imagine? God walked in the cool of the day. When Adam sinned, God walked, and he said, Adam, where are you? When he answered, he said, I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself. So when man fell, the very first sentence that came out of his mouth, or the mouth of the fallen man was, I was afraid. Very important. You know why? It means that fear is part of the earliest fruitage of man's fall, the earliest manifestation of the fruit of the fall, fear. Because the first thing he said was, I was afraid. What it means is that the fallen man was going to live in fear. Fear was going to become man's default mode. Default mode. Because fear is the earliest manifestation of the fall. The fall brought fear. He said, I was afraid because I was naked. So the natural man is full of fear. Anxious fears of many sorts. Fear of God. The natural man is afraid of God. He's also afraid of Satan. He's also afraid of man. He's afraid of life. He's afraid of death. He's afraid of rejection. He's afraid of loneliness. He's afraid of being single. That he's afraid of marriage. He's afraid of sicknesses. Afraid of failure. Afraid of diseases. Afraid of height. Afraid of accident. Afraid of fear. So fear characterized man's life. Fear. Fear. That is why the Bible says that, for as much day, and as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death and deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2, 14, 15. The Bible says that because of fear, mankind had their lifetime subject to bondage. So when you live in fear, actually you are, in enslavement, you are enslaved. So one of the reasons Jesus died was to actually set us away, free us from fear. He said all their lifetime was subject to fear. And the fear of death is a matter of all fears. Someone says I fear height. Actually it's not the fear of height, it's the fear of death. Yeah, it's a matter of all fears.
Speaker 2Fear. Now fear is a very dangerous disease.
Speaker 1When you live in fear, you are actually enslaved. So the Bible says, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power of love and of sound mind. Then also in Romans 8, 15, the Bible says, for we have not received the spirit of bondage, the spirit of slavery again to fear. So fear is actually slavery. If you live in fear, you are actually enslaved. We have not received the spirit of, bondage or the spirit of slavery again to fear. So fear is a spirit of bondage. Are you with me? Yeah, that's fear. Remember the Bible says that fear has torment. In 1 John 4, verse 18, fear has torment. So if fear has torment, then the tormentors, those who torment, the tormentors behind the tormenting are actually demons. They torment. Fear, torment. The Bible also says fear is an oppression. In Isaiah 54, verse 14, thou shalt be far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear. The reason we shall be far from oppression is because we will not fear. Now fear is a source of oppression. Fear is a source of bondage. Fear is a source of all diverse torment. When you are in fear, you are actually enslaved. Now there are two, two laws that governs life according to the scriptures. In Romans 8, verse 2, the Bible says that for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Now in life, either ways, either you are governed by the law of life or by the law of death. The Bible calls it the law of the spirit of life. Or you are governed by the law of sin and death. There are two laws. When the Bible says law, it's like a, it is something that is regulative, dynamic and spontaneous, like gravity. Gravity is a law because it is constant and universal. Constant means it's always working. Universal means it operates everywhere. If I throw this hanky down, up, it will come down in Ghana. If you go to Asia and you throw your hanky and it doesn't come down, then it, a law is not working. It is a phenomenon, not a law. But if it is a law, it must be universal and it must be constant. So gravity has to work everywhere, whether in Ghana or in Singapore. It is constant, it is universal. Now, these two laws are also operative like that. The law of life or the law of the spirit of life is always working. It's constant and universal. And the law of death, you see, the sin and death is always working. It's constant, universal. Are you here? Now, what activates the law of life is faith. And what
Speaker 2activates the law of death is fear. Now, when the law of life
Speaker 1is activated, life becomes sweeter. You are full of joy. You are full of health. You are full of peace. You are full of prosperity. You are full of love. Sound mind. You know, you come alive. When the law of death is also activated, things doesn't work well. You are full of worries and sicknesses and hatred and all of that.
Speaker 2The moment fear
Speaker 1is allowed in your life, you open the door for the law of death to operate. And fear doesn't only, fear and faith, they are the keys. They activate this. loss, actually. I remember a story by John G. Lake. Many years ago he was a missionary in South Africa. That was when there was a plague of the bubonic disease, just like Ebola. There was an outbreak of this plague in South Africa. And many died. Even the missionaries who were sent to South Africa, a lot of them died. But Lake was alive and he was actually burying the dead. In fact, if you touch the dead, you'd be infested. I mean, it was contagious. I mean, like coronavirus. You can't just touch the one who is infected. But Lake was burying the dead with his two friends. And nothing was happening to him. So when they interviewed him, you know his answer. He said that, this was his answer, he said, fear attracts viruses, but faith dispels them. That was his answer. Faith dispels them, but fear attracts viruses. Yeah. The truth is that faith activates God. Fear activates Satan. The moment you step in the stream of faith, God is manifesting. I mean, you bring God to the scene, into manifestation, actually. That is how fear is. The moment you step into fear, fear also activates demons. Freely, because fear gives them legal grounds to operate. After today, you'll never fear again. The moment, when you start living in fear, actually, you start sinking in life. You start sinking in life. You know, when Peter gave in to fear, the Bible says he saw the waves of the sea, he began to sink. The Bible says he saw it and was afraid, and he began to sink. Actually, what causes you to sink in life is fear. The storm doesn't cause the sinking. It's your fear that causes the sinking.
Speaker 2It's not the circumstances, it's your fear. You know, fear is so deadly that
Speaker 1when you live in fear, fear acts like a magnet, magnetic attraction. Now, when you live in fear, fear will attract the thing which you dread
Speaker 2the most and bring it to pass. Fear will crystallize the thing you worry about the
Speaker 1most and bring it to pass. So whatever you dread the most, fear acts as a magnetic force to bring it to manifestation. That is why there shouldn't be any fear.
Speaker 2Now, it happens.
Speaker 1to Job, you know, in Job 3.25, he says, the thing which I greatly feared has come upon me. The thing which I greatly, so what he dreaded the most, the thing which I greatly feared has come upon me. Yeah? And that which I was afraid has come unto me. So Job lived in so much fear that he was sacrificing daily because he was afraid maybe his children would have sinned and all his sacrifices was out of fear. Sacrificing. Now you can be praying, but all your prayers are born of fear. It wouldn't do you any good. It's not your plan to praying. Yeah, it's prayer of faith. Praying out of fear wouldn't solve the issue. So he was sacrificing daily, but it was the foundation of fear. So much that, you know, the reason Satan got access to Job's life is actually, he studied carefully because of his fear. He lived in fear so much that God's protection around him was lifted. And the hedge was broken and Satan came in. It was because of his fear. Satan wouldn't have had any access. His fear opened the door for Satan to come in. So fear is like a magnet. For instance, if you fear of a robber coming to steal you, steal from your house. Every day, hey, robbers are coming. Robbers, robbers. Wherever you go, you are full of fear. Robbers. You know what you are doing. Now you have activated the law. And now, those demons responsible for robbery now become, will attract you like a magnetic attraction. They will just draw close to you. And then the robbery will actually come to pass. Ask your neighbor, what are you afraid of?
Speaker 2What are you afraid of? Maybe you are afraid that, for you, you
Speaker 1will never have a good marriage. Because your mother didn't have a good marriage. Your grandmother didn't have a good marriage. And your great-grandmother never had a good marriage. And your siblings didn't have a good marriage. So, it's a testimony all around you. So, you are developing that kind of fear. If you live in that fear, it will actually come to pass. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. yeah so what are you afraid
Speaker 2of I refer to afraid of
Speaker 1dying or you're afraid of living I will free the bank account is going to run dry and I will hold dreams your dream and your life is going to be shattered yeah so what you are afraid of can easily come to pass so we have to deal with our fears what are you afraid of sicknesses diseases rejection loneliness fear of man sometimes fear of
Speaker 2God negative fear of God the first antidote to fear is in first John
Speaker 1chapter 4 verse 18 first John chapter 4 verse 18 there is no fear in love but perfect love cast out fear perfect love expels fear perfect love dispels fear perfect love repels fear perfect now when the bible speaks of perfect love he's talking about not your love but god's love now our love is not perfect you understand our love is not perfect it's not about your love it's about god's love you embracing how much god loves you accepting how much god loves you god's love towards you is perfect say god's love for me is perfect yeah yeah so god loves all of us but not everyone is living in a consciousness of that reality is the most powerful thing on earth to know that god loves you and to experience it and to practice it that's the master key to everything that's the master key to know how much we are loved the bible says that perfect love knowing how god loves you perfectly will cast out every kind of fear every kind of fear fear of fear of your marriage not working fear of not giving birth fear of giving birth fear of this fear of this every kind of fear fear in relationships every kind of fear will be dispelled when you are conscious of how much the lord loves you do you know that according to john 17 23 if you read from the god's word version how much does god love you god loves you the same way he loves jesus it's simple to say but this revelation must enter deeply into your soul god loves you the same way he loves the son jesus the god's word version yeah i in them and you are in me so they are completely completely united in this way the world knows that you have sent me and that you have loved them in the same way you have loved me so god has loved you the same way he loves jesus think about it you never know how much god loves you until you know you know how much god loves jesus you know why because he gave his son for you his son was your price tag what you paid for is the value you give it if you pay for something that's the value you give it yeah he gave you his son for your payment that means he loves you that much so god loves you as much as he loves his son this revelation if it turns on your heart everything changes praise god everything will change let's go to ephesians chapter
Speaker 23 from verse 17 that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith that ye
Speaker 1being rooted and grounded in love let's go on may be able to comprehend with all sins what is a breadth and length and depth and height and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God now this is one of the most powerful prayers Paul prayed which we must also pray and he prayed that we will come to know the love of Christ that passeth knowledge what kind of English is that to know the love of Christ that passes knowledge it's like saying knowing something that is beyond knowing is because of the English the Greek is not like that but knowing something that is beyond knowing to know the love of Christ that is beyond knowing now the first no is genosko which means to know by experience and the second word knowledge is the word for human knowledge gnosis so he's talking about experiencing the love not the love for Christ but the love of Christ how much Christ has loved you not the love for but the love of how much he has loved you so the word no genosko is knowing by experience experiencing how much Jesus has loved you and that experiential knowledge of his love is more than human knowledge it transcends human knowledge and to know genosko is when the knower relates to what is known experience experience in his love
Speaker 2praise God now this is the greatest quest to know how much he loves
Speaker 1you how much does he love you he loves you is a solution to anything it destroys fears it's
Speaker 2approved fear you see we don't measure how much God loves us by our circumstances
Speaker 1we measure how much he loves us by the cross now if you the moment you measure how much he loves you by your circumstances the devil will hit you now when I tell you that God loves you like the same way as he loves his son you go like then why am I not feeling well then why am I broke now why did my beloved break my heart I can't even pay my rent I can't even pay my rent you are saying Jesus loves me the same way as he loves his son so circumstantially it doesn't tell you at all so you don't measure how much God loves you based on your circumstances you measure it based on the cross I'm telling you you measure it the cross listen Jesus didn't die for himself he died for you whatever happened on the cross is put into your account I'm telling you you measure it the cross listen Jesus didn't die for himself he died for you whatever happened on the cross is put into your account as though you did it God sped not his own son but delivered him and for us all how shall he not with him freely give us
Speaker 2all things so Jesus was given to you
Speaker 1when I said in the faith when I began I used to measure my love God's love by circumstances because I read in the Bible that he shall keep his angels charge upon me is I'll not even touch my foot against the stone so whenever I'm walking and my my leg hit a stone I said Lord why what have I done and what have you done because I'm wondering you said in your weather my foot not that's against us though by my leg keep hitting stones so there are people who are always disappointed because circumstances are not aligning well so they think God doesn't love them no you don't measure your love based on circumstances you measure your love based on the cross because circumstances may change it may change it may change and we are still growing and there are many things we don't know and we are
Speaker 2still growing in faith even Apostle Paul said who shall separate us from the love
Speaker 1of God shall tribulation or distress or famine or nakedness or peril or sword as it is written for thy sake we are killed all day long we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter me in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us say I am persuaded that neither death nor life hey no angels nor principalities nor things present nor things to come nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus he's saying that look whatever we may go through can never take God's love from us so you don't measure your love by the things are going through you measure how much he loves you based on the cross it is unchanging that's what you must see other than that you you keep asking so many questions and you keep doubting God's love for you during the days of Hitler Second World War Corrie ten Boom very powerful man of God God used her to save so many Jews actually in her house to save so many rescue so many of them because they were killing them there was remember the Holocaust and later on they were I mean someone reported what she was doing and they were arrested and they were taken to the German concentration camp they were in prison so Corrie Corrie had a sister by name Betsy in prison they were preaching the love of God now Betty was dying out of suffering out of seven the gospel and the imprisonment when she was dying she told her sister Corrie I wanted to write this and let the whole world know it that there is no deep pit where the love of Christ is not the pastel there is no deep pit where the love of Christ or the love of God is not the pastel so this part whatever you are going through in life I'm telling you that his love for you has never changed his love for you is deeper so don't measure hallelujah and to know the love of Christ that passed knowledge if you know how much he loves you the result is that the Bible says that he may be filled with all the fullness of God that he may be filled with all the fullness of God efficient back to efficiency that's he now if I ask you how can you be filled with the fullness of God you may say a lot of things or how can you be filled with the fullness of God you may suggest that pray and fasten how can you be filled with a furnace of God I'm sure the first thing that will ever come to your mind is prayer and fasten of course when you pray and fast, you can be filled with the Holy Ghost. But in this context, Paul showed us the way to be filled with the fullness of God. You know how to be filled with the maximum load of God? To be filled with God means you are filled with health. To be filled with God means you are filled with peace. To be filled with God means you are filled with joy. To be filled with God, you are filled with the elements of God. You are filled with peace. You are filled with love. You are filled with meekness. You are filled with long-suffering. You are filled with anything called God. Filled with prosperity, with health, with goodness, with generosity, gentleness, goodness. You are filled. How can you be filled with God, knowing how much he has loved you? So he is saying that the consciousness, knowing the love of Christ, knowing how much he has loved you, how much he has loved you, if you live in this consciousness, if you can meditate, set your heart upon it, experience it, how much he loves you, he says you will be filled with God. Are you here with me?
Speaker 2That is the key to be filled with God. It's a shock. If I were you,
Speaker 1I would spend my time finding out how much he loves me. To change your smile, you begin to have perfect peace. Fear of accident to be gone. When you sit in the car, you have perfect peace. I am telling you, fear of your boss will be gone. Fear of your future will be gone.
Speaker 2Anxiety will be gone. And look at the next verse.
Speaker 1Now unto us, for him that is able, to do exceeding, abundantly above. Now these words are powerful. words. Now in the Greek, the reference, this is what we call superlatives of superlatives in force. What it means is that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above the greatest abundance. Over, beyond, and above. Now he's saying that your God, he's able to do beyond beyond. Okay. Far above all that you ask or even think. Look at the good things you want. Some of the good things. Some of the good things you think about. Not just praying, but think. He's able to do far above all that we ask or think. But it goes on to say, according to the power that's wicked in us. Now what is the power that's wicked in us? In context, you interpret the Bible by context. You'll agree with me that Paul has been talking about love. And his prayer for them was love. You see, the power that's wicked in us is the power of his love. Being conscious of his love. Knowing how much he loves you. Knowing you are loved. The Father loves me. That is the power of his love. Do you know that if you live life knowing I'm loved, the Father loves me. Even your very thoughts, God begins to answer them. There are some things you don't even need to pray about. You see the usefulness manifested. It becomes like a magnetic attraction. The way fear can attract. This one is positive attraction. Just see how much he loves you. Good things will be happening to you. Not beyond the things you ask, but what you are even thinking. That is the power. In context, he's still addressing the same thing. Love. So he said in the previous verse, you can be filled with the fullness of God. That alone is amazing. Then he says, even what you start thinking and asking, beyond will be granted. Now, a few years ago, some years ago, there was a week I was meditating on how Jesus loves me. I was just happy. I was just happy. I remember. I was just happy. Just thinking of his love. Then I thought of, I need a new laptop. I have not come. I need a new laptop. That day someone brought me a new laptop. I didn't connect. Yes. Then the next day I said, apart from laptop, I need a very good tablet. Yes. Then the next day someone brought me a tablet. I didn't ask anyone. Then I said, I need some new phones. Then the next day someone brought me, without telling anyone, I was just thinking about it, not even saying it. Because at that moment, I was just, his love. It works, his love. His love. He loves me. It will give you such peace. That is the easiest way to laugh at this. Just focus on it. Even your smile will change. You become calm at rest. No agitation, no anxiety, no worries. Listen, sometimes we don't know how to be in faith. We mistakenly want to, how do I know I'm in faith? Am I in faith? Am I in faith? Faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith. You know, you're actually in doubt. Because you are focusing, faith doesn't focus on itself. It has an object it focuses. Let me show you the simplest way to be in faith. Now the simplest way to be in faith is to be in his love. Do you know that the moment you are conscious of how he loves me, I'm loved of God. He's faithful to me. He will not fail me. He loves me. That realm you are in is the realm of faith. You know why? In Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision availed anything but faith that worketh by love. Galatians 5 verse 6. Then remember that in 1 Corinthians 13 verse 7, the Bible says that love believeth all things. Love. Heareth all things, believeth all things, hupeth all things, and heareth all things. The moment you are in love, your faith is automatic. When you are in love, there's nothing you cannot believe. Because love believeth all things. Now I know why you are laughing. It's true, when you are in love, whatever your sweetheart tells you, you believe it. They say love is blind. You receive all the promises. Yeah. When you are conscious of his love, faith is not difficult. It's a natural, spontaneous response. This thing is true. Now, some years ago, during the Second World War, the Nazis attacked London, the city of London. They attacked London. And they released Air Raid. They released it. So, warning came from authorities that the citizens should evacuate their homes and their businesses. Because they provided underground shelters for the citizens. So they all evacuated because of the Air Raid and the bombing and all of that. So they were in underground shelters. But there was this woman who went to one of the shelters. The moment she got there, she didn't like the place. She felt the place smells too bad. So she went back to her home. Now, after a few days, when there was a kind of some calmness, those in the shelter realized that one person was missing. So they found this woman and they asked her, where were you? Because we didn't know. We didn't see you amongst us. Where were you? Where did you go? The woman said, this place was smelling, so I decided to go back to my home. She said, that's dangerous. Why? Why did you do that? And she said, I read, I found in the Bible that God neither sleeps nor slumbers. So I said, okay, if he neither sleeps nor slumbers, there's no use the two of us waking up. He says, he neither sleeps nor slumbers. So why would you want to be awake to look for? And this was her response. She said, then I simply said, Lord, I thank you. I praise you. I put myself in your love. Thank you for loving me. Thank you that I'm protected. That's all. And she was in her home. Now, a few days afterward, the Nazis came back and destroyed the house. The house was destroyed. God is the one who loves you. THANKS FOR JOINING US. home my daddy is a pilot and i know he's going to take me home that's all my daddy is a pilot and i know she's going to take me home what an assurance what an assurance can you become calm in the midst of turbulence knowing you are just resting you in the father's arms
Speaker 2what a blessing
Speaker 1now there's this man of god who told his story now when he was a little younger um his son was diagnosed with cancer and he was offended he went on his knees saying god why god why god why at least god okay okay you know what take the cancer from my son and put it on me i love my son and i hate my i hate to see my son suffering if you can do anything god take the cancer from him and put it on me he said while he was on his knees making all that kind of prayer he just had a voice from within the voice said i am not like that now god spoke to him and said i am not like that now that moved him so strongly and he became all of a sudden he became conscious of god's love then he realized that god is not what he has been thinking all along he received instant revelation of the father's love now he became absorbed about love so god is loving god is loving his son was healed supernaturally supernaturally because of exercising himself in love when you are in love you are in faith hallelujah when you are in love you are in faith so the first antidote to fear is love because the bible says that perfect love cast out fear it is one thing to say it another thing to experience it now this kind of reality comes through meditation praying it knowing it i'm loved i'm loved despite what circumstances i'm loved and go out and conquer the world i'm loved to change your smile to give you confidence when fear goes can you imagine life without fear you sleep soundly without any fear there are people who can't even sleep at night they are afraid of everything including their dreams their dreams terrified people are afraid of dreams people are afraid of prophecy people are afraid of prophet they are afraid of everything they don't want to hear anything fear fear praise god now fear has seats the seat or the seed of fear is actually in the thoughts thoughts are the seeds of fear thoughts are actually seeds of fear now before fear can take root in you it begins with thoughts thoughts when a thought comes into your head and it is not dealt with it can take roots can germinate and can spread wide you need to understand that you can't prevent wrong thoughts from flashing through your head I read a story of Reverend Kenny Higgins. A certain woman went to Kenny Higgins and said, Man of God, can you pray for me? And Reverend Higgins said, What for? She said, That I will be delivered from every evil thought. Kenny Higgins said, If I can pray that for you, I would have prayed that for myself already. Yeah, I would have prayed it for myself already. And Higgins told him that you can't prevent a bird from flying over your head. Can you prevent it? But you can prevent the bird from making a nest in your hair. Or building a nest in your hair. You can prevent that. The thought can come flash through, but you don't have to nurture it. Now, fear actually begins at seed. Thought. Now, a thought can drop in your head. You are going to die. It's a thought. You will not make it in life. One day you will sleep and you will not wake up. Your wife doesn't love you enough. Your husband doesn't love you enough. You will fail your exam. You will not get a visa. When you go abroad, you will suffer. You can't make it. All sorts of thoughts can flash through your head. These are seeds. Seeds. I will fail in ministry. Look at how things are going. My church will not be big. All sorts of thoughts. Okay, what do you do about them?
Speaker 2What do you do? Now, Jesus said, take no thoughts.
Speaker 1I love how Jesus said it. He said, take no thoughts. Take no thoughts for your life. Take no thoughts. Look at how Jesus said it. This is what our Lord said. Take no thoughts. That means that thoughts, all of these thoughts cannot force themselves on you. If he said, take no thoughts, it means you have power to reject it and power to accept it. Because he said, take no thoughts. So, it means it becomes a choice. It becomes a choice. So, there are some thoughts you can accept. There are some thoughts you can reject. Because Jesus said, take no thoughts. Now, how can you take a thought? Matthew 6, 31. Take no thoughts. 31. Therefore, take no thought saying. You know how to take a thought? By saying it. That is how to accept that thought that is troubling your life. So, when a thought comes, you can either reject it or accept it. But the way to accept it is to accept it. The way to take the thought is by saying it. Hmm. I don't think this will happen. I'm sure I'm going to die. What the doctor has said is true. You have taken the thought. You've taken it. And the moment you take the thought. In fact, in 2 Corinthians 13 verse 1. The Bible says that by every word. Yeah, this is the third time I'm coming to you. In the mouth of two authors. Three witnesses shall every word be established. You see. This is how spiritual things operate. Whether towards God or towards Satan. Now, if God says something. For instance, the word of God says by his stripes. You are healed. Is that not so? God has said it. But that doesn't mean you'll be healed. God has spoken. But that word is not established in your life. You have to become an established witness. At least, there need to be two witnesses. God is one witness. And you have to be the second witness. When you say what has been said. You know what has happened? You establish it as a second witness. So you become an established witness to what has been said. Because every word can only be established by at least two witnesses. So God says, by my stripes you are healed. Okay. You accept it. And you also go like, by his stripes. By his stripes I'm healed. So, you are a witness to the second word. By saying it, you have become an established witness. The word is established. So when you take the thought and you say it. That wrong thought. And you say it. You have established it. The devil whispered. You took the thought. You said it. It's established. It's established. It's established. Anytime. If he. Is growing in your life. Now, you will see it as a manifest as wrong feeling. You begin to feel it. Now. All wrong feeling comes from wrong thinking. If you're feeling is wrong, then you're thinking is wrong. Anytime you are feeling something that is not right. It means actually check your thinking. What you have been thinking is not right. Because you're thinking is what produces your feeling. You're thinking. Your thought controls your emotions. So, if your emotions are wrong. Your thinking is wrong. So, if you start living in fear. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Then your thoughts. the fear is a sign the feeling is a sign that fear is coming but the initial feeling doesn't mean you are defeated praise God in Proverbs 3 verse 25 says that be not afraid of sudden fear or the dissolution of the wicked when it comes he says don't be afraid of sudden fear the initial feeling of fear does not mean fear has overcome you in fact in the Greek the word fear is when you dwell on that feeling and you allow that feeling to immobilize you to take the right steps then you are in fear so when you have that feeling check your thinking when you have that feeling and begin to speak God's word praise God anytime wrong thought comes to you all these wrong thoughts you are going to fail it's a no work listen maybe you are going home from here thought can come to your head something will happen to you someone is going to attack you and beat you someone is going to rape you different kinds of thoughts when those thoughts start dropping you fight thoughts with words challenge those thoughts with words scriptures I refuse it I will not fear God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of sound mind when fear is coming the Bible says fear thou not for I am with thee be not dismayed for I am thy God I will help you I will strengthen you he says I will uphold you with my right arm of righteousness the word of God will dispel fear hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah I will never fear I will never fear every kind of fear now when that thought comes now that ever comes to steal, kill and destroy so any wherever he wants to enter in your life any place he wants to have access he will use thoughts he will want to introduce fear but it begins with introducing seeds of thoughts if you nurture it and let it grow and fear comes in then he has access he will never fear so kill it before it germinates keep talking the word keep talking the word reverse it with the scriptures yeah if you feel like it is dumping it's too dampening it is too much because of what you are dealing with spend time speaking in tongues and keep speaking the word keeps speaking the word keeps quoting scriptures reading scriptures of his love how much God loves you hallelujah pray unto the reality of God's love dominate you hallelujah praise God turn with me to the book of Mark chapter 4 verse 35 I just finished my introduction I just finished my introduction I just finished my introduction that means we are sleeping over anyways that's a joke but it will not be a joke and the same day when even was come he said unto unto them that's his disciples let us pass over onto the other side let us pass over onto the other side I want to tell you a story from the scriptures alright the Bible says now Mark is telling us a story Luke also tells us the same story Matthew tells us the same story of what happened on the sea of Galilee the Bible Mark began by saying the same day now why the same day he just want to tell us how tight Jesus was because this was even in time but why did he say the same day because Jesus had been doing so many things the same day now it was the same day that he encountered the scribes and they accused him that he cast out devils by blasphemy and he spent time speaking the word of God from that scene Jesus went Jesus had to preach again in another place as he was preaching his mother and his brethren came and someone interrupted the preaching and said oh your mother and your brothers are looking for you he said who is my mother how many of you remember that story yeah he continued preaching after the preaching he went to the shore of the sea of Galilee and he preached again and Jesus preached many times the same day that is when he preached all the parables all the parables of you know the word of God the soul went forth to the soul he preached then in the midst of it he left the shore and went to the house and continued teaching his disciples he taught them in the house and returned back to the shore to continue the ministry so when he returned back he went into the boat and the Bible says the same evening the same day it was evening so Jesus was retired this is Mark's account how about Luke's Matthew's account also so the same day when evening was come he said to his disciples let us pass over to the other side that's what he said what was the other side the other side of the lake of Galilee it was a very big lake actually it was so big that it was called sea but it was a lake thirty miles long very long it was eight miles wide now the lake of Galilee is called the lowest freshwater lake in the world because it's a seven hundred feet below sea level seven hundred feet below sea level it's like a basin praise God so they had to now they were on the eastern side they had to go to the western side he said let's go to the other side the other side they just had to go to the west side he said let's go to the other side the other side they just had to go to the east side he said let's go to the other side the other side they just had to go to the west side Let's go to the other side. The Gentiles were more prominent in the other side. The Jews were prominent where Jesus was. So he said, let's cross over to the other side. Hallelujah. Let us pass. Say, pass over. He said, let us what? Pass over. The next verse. And when he had sent, they had sent away the disciples, the multitude. They took him, even as he was in a ship. And they were also with him, other little ships. So that's what they did. That's what they did. So the Bible says that they took him. I like the word, they took. They took. They took him. Jesus was so exhausted. Now, the Greek word for took him is the same word that is used in Matthew 2. When the angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, take the mother and her child and flee to Egypt. The word take has to do with, take them under your care. So the Bible says that the disciples took Jesus. So I can just picture it. Jesus was in a boat. He was so exhausted that they took him and put him somewhere. At the end of the path, so Jesus could rest. Because that's his humanity. He was so tired. So they took him. Praise God. They took him. All right. The next verse. Are you following? And there arose a great storm. My. There arose a great storm of wind. I mean, this was mega. The word great is actually the word mega. But in the Greek, it's the word for hurricane. The same word for hurricane. So you could just imagine how great the storm was. They arose a great storm of wind. My. Now, I believe that there was some demonic entities behind the storm. You know why I believe that? Because later on, when Jesus spoke to the waves and said, be still. The word be still is the same Greek word he used when he was casting out demons. And told the demons to shut up. And he said, be still. So actually, the Greek word speaks of. The word means to muzzle a hostile animal. Muzzling a hostile animal. So there were powerful forces behind the waves. And the storm, the raging storms, like hurricane. And the waves beat into the ship so that it was full. So you can just imagine. Just picture it. So now, the ship. The ship there was actually a large boat. Not like the ships we have today. A large boat. So the waves beat it in such a way that the Bible says the boat was what? Full. The next verse. And he was in the hinder part of the ship Asleep on a pillow I don't understand In the hinder part of the ship Asleep on a pillow Now how can you sleep Under this condition It is difficult to sleep Under this condition You know why Number one The sound of the waves alone Beating the ship Should wake you up The sound of the waves Was enough To wake you up Secondly By this time The ship or the boat You could just imagine it Was reeling to and fro Tossed up and down Like this The Bible says it's a great storm Mega storm So the boat is dancing And the disciples were screaming And shouting And the thing is dancing And they were screaming Yet Jesus was still Asleep Yeah He was still asleep And what amazes me Is that thirdly He was at the hinder part The boat was filled with water I'm telling you Jesus was soaked in water And it was biting cold It was biting cold Yet he was asleep You see What amazes me is that The Bible says he was asleep And they awoke him Now The word awake
Speaker 2Now the Greek word
Speaker 1Actually means To arouse thoroughly Is the Greek word for
Speaker 2To arouse thoroughly
Speaker 1Shaking You see The Greek word actually Actually denotes that They shook him severely Yeah To arouse thoroughly They had to shake him And shake him And shake him And shake him To get him aroused To wake him up
Speaker 2That's the Greek word The Bible says
Speaker 1And they awoke him The word awake Is in the present Indicative Active tense Now When we say present tense In the Greek It means An action in the present time In a continual fashion So present indicative active means They kept waking You can just imagine
Speaker 2They kept doing it They kept doing it And the Greek word Actually means They were shaking him
Speaker 1And they kept doing it Before he woke up Now what kind of sleep is this? You may think he's even dead That is why they were offended And they said Don't you care That we are perishing Don't you care So how can he Perish I'm amazed At Jesus's peace You know why? He's the Prince of Peace He is our peace Who has made both one He is our peace He is the Prince of Peace You can just I don't know what kind of storms Is beating you presently Financial storms Marital storms Relational storms Academic storms You see Storms in the area of your health I don't know which raging storms Is moving you to and fro But Jesus can give you stability and peace Total peace And this kind of
Speaker 2peace amazes me
Speaker 1I mean He was asleep Gone Nothing woke him up He was fine Comfortable And this kind of peace When I read in my Bible That Jesus said Peace I give you And he said My peace Peace I leave you He says My peace Give I unto you Let not your heart be troubled Neither let it be afraid My peace My peace Give I unto you My peace So it doesn't matter The storms that are beating you Presently Jesus Christ His peace can work in your life My peace Give I unto you My peace Wow And Peter You know Peter The word Now this is in John chapter 14 Verses 27 You see Peace I leave you The word The word leave in the Greek Literally means To be quit as an inheritance To be quit as an inheritance So He actually be quit His peace to you He has willed his peace His peace for you So his peace is your inheritance Jesus' peace is mine Now it works You know how it works I read Peter Now Herod killed James Apostle James Then he wanted to kill Peter also So they put him in a prison And they were going to kill Peter The next morning But the church As the church was praying And the angel was dispatched Perhaps his angel Or something like that The angel entered into the prison And Peter was asleep The angel had to Wake him up And then when Peter was following him Peter thought he was still dreaming Now you are going to be killed The next morning Can you sleep? So if you can't sleep You can't even sleep When I'm going to write your exam You are so troubled and worried About your examination You can't even sleep How much more execution You are going to be killed He was asleep He was asleep What kind of peace is this? Wow Because Jesus had already told him The kind of death he would die He would die as an old man Jesus prophesied it So he knew what they were doing It was just a joke But he was asleep And he believed in God's word More than what man can do He was delivered from the fear of man That will be your portion Now Jesus You know before He prayed what is called His high priestly prayers In John 17 Just before he was arrested In John 18 The last prayer he ever prayed for us John 17 26 Now he prayed for us But his last prayer He says I have declared unto them Your name The name Father And will declare it That the love wherewith thou hast loved me May be in them Give me the net
Speaker 2or God's word N-E-T or God's word I have made your name known unto them
Speaker 1And I will make it known So that the love you have for me Will be in them Jesus just wants us to know that The way the Father loves him To be conscious of the same love That the Father loves us the same way Jesus was asleep because he knows Like the girl The story I gave in the tabloids The girl was secure Because he knew his father was in charge So in the midst of the storms Jesus wants you to just be like him As he is so are we in this world The love the Father has for him The Father has the same love for you You know He has the same love for you If you have that love You have his peace Hallelujah Now the next verse Let's go back to our
Speaker 2Mark They awake him And say unto him Master Don't you care
Speaker 1That we are perishing Carest not thou that we perish Now they were just blaming Jesus They blamed him For what he has not done They woke him up And the first thing was that they blamed him He is asleep They just blamed him I realize that
Speaker 2Those who love the Lord They are not
Speaker 1There is a kind of temptation You are apt to face Now Martha loved Jesus But Jesus went to Martha's house And Martha blamed Jesus You know how The same way like the disciples blamed Jesus Martha said Don't you care that my sister has left me alone To do all the serving So if your sister has left you Why are you blaming the Lord He said don't you care That my sister has left me all alone Why are you blaming the Lord To do the seven so He blamed Jesus for not caring enough. Now the disciples here also blamed Jesus for not caring enough. Why? They blamed Jesus because of his silence. When the Lord is silent, we think he doesn't care. When the Lord is silent, what we interpret is that, our interpretation is that, don't you care? Look at all that I'm going through. You interpret his silence as not caring. He is the one who cares and loves you more than you love yourself. And who said, I know the thoughts I think towards you of good and not of evil to bring you to an expected end. So when you experience his silence, that doesn't mean he doesn't care. Praise God. Yeah. He's working behind the scenes. You just have to trust him. I'm telling you, this is a temptation for those who love the Lord. They are expecting something from the Lord and they've not seen it. So they go like, don't you care? Don't you care? Don't you care? The disciples said it. They've been with Jesus. Martha said it. Don't you care? Lord, why? The Lord cares. Because we don't see as he sees. Don't misinterpret his silence. Hallelujah. All right. To continue the story, I just want us to continue with Matthew's account. So Matthew, let's go to Matthew 8 verse 25. Matthew 8 verse 25. And the disciples, they came to him and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us. We perish. Okay. The next verse. And he said unto them, why are ye fearful? O ye of little faith. Why are you fearful? Now the statement, O ye of little faith, is mentioned five times in the Bible. Now Jesus mentioned it five times. Yeah. The first one, when he said, O ye of little faith, he was addressing worry and anxiety. The second time, he rebuked the disciples and said, O ye of little faith. He was addressing fear. Fear. And that's what we see in the story. So the Bible says, and he said unto them, why are ye fearful? Why are you afraid? Now when you are in fear, you are preaching in little faith or no faith. Why are ye fearful? Ask your neighbor, why are you fearful? Why are you fearful?
Speaker 2Why? Another person, why? Why are you fearful? Why? Why are you fearful? Now Jesus woke up from his sleep.
Speaker 1And Jesus did not rebuke them for disturbing his sleep. He rebuked them
Speaker 2for disturbing themselves with fear. Because he knows fear has a devastating effect.
Speaker 1So he rebuked them not because they had disturbed his sleep. But he rebuked them because they were disturbing themselves with fear. Because fear is dangerous. Anytime fear comes in, Jesus is quick to respond in the Bible. For instance, when Jesus was on the way to pray for the daughter of the ruler of the synagogue, now Jesus was going to, pray for her. Then Jesus was intercepted by the woman with the issue of blood. After that scenario, the servants of the ruler of the synagogue came and said, listen, don't trouble the master. Your daughter is dead already. The master doesn't need to come to your house. The Bible says as soon as Jesus heard that statement, he said unto the ruler of the synagogue, don't be afraid. Only believe. As soon as he heard it. As soon as he heard it, he said, fear not. Don't be afraid. Only believe. Why? Because the moment you allow fear, you activate Satan. The moment you allow fear, you can activate the law of death. Praise God. So as soon as Jesus heard it, he says, don't be afraid. Only believe. You see, these disciples, you see, you see, their fear actually validated the storms the more. Their fear sanctioned and gave Satan the legality to torment them the more on the sea. So when Jesus woke up, the first thing he addressed was their fear. Yeah. Peter was sinking not because he saw the waves. He was sinking because he was afraid. What? It's troubling your life. It's not the adversities you are going through. It is allowing fear to come in. So fear is what you must address. Hallelujah. It's a said, why are you fearful? I like the question. Why are you fearful? Now, if Jesus reproves, you or rebukes you about something, then it means that that thing is not beyond your control. It becomes a choice. If the Lord reproves you about something, if the Lord reproved them, why are you fearful? The reproof actually intimates that it was not beyond their control. Now, let me give an example. If I come here and I say that I call you, and I say, why haven't you swept this place, this auditorium? What does it mean? It means you have the ability to sweep the whole auditorium. Is that not so? Yeah. The question actually validates the fact that the responsibility is not beyond your control. So when I say, why? Why haven't you swept here? It means that you can do it. It becomes a choice. You didn't do it because you chose not to. But you can do it. It becomes a choice. But if I call a little boy, let's say a four-year-old boy, and I ask him, why haven't you swept the whole house, the whole auditorium? That will intimate that I am either overbearing or wicked. Because I'm demanding something, he cannot do it. So for Jesus to say, why are you fearful? Why are you fearful? That means it wasn't beyond your control. If Jesus asked them that question, it means it was within their power. It was a matter of choice. If Jesus demanded the disciples not fearing, why they could do nothing about it, then Jesus was overbearing or he was wicked, knowing they could do nothing about it. By this time, they could do something about it.
Speaker 2Please, are you following? Yeah. Never say, I can do nothing about my fear.
Speaker 1Fear is actually a choice. That is why every time there's an angelic appearance, the first statement is fear not. If he says fear not, then you can fear not. If Jesus says, let not your heart be troubled, he's the maker of the heart. He's the architect of the heart. He's the one who fashioned and made the heart. So he's saying, let not your heart be troubled. You can't say, Lord, you don't know what I'm going through. If I can do something about it, I would have done something about it. Some people are waiting for some extreme force from heaven, some anointing or something to hit them, to deliver them from their fear. No, while you are waiting on God for deliverance, he's also waiting on you to make a solid decision never to fear.
Speaker 2Because it's within your power, your choice. Why are you fearful?
Speaker 1Now, I'm asking you a question. Why are you fearful? Why? You know why? The disciples, they became subject to the laws that governs the natural world. Now, you know the laws that governs the natural world. The laws that governs the natural world operate by seeing, hearing, and understanding. The laws that govern the natural world operate by seeing, hearing, and understanding. Hearing and feeling. What we see, what we hear, and what we feel. Now, these are the laws that govern the natural world. If you live by them, you will die. The Bible says if you live by the senses, you will die. Because if you operate by, the doctor tells you, you have three weeks to die. You heard it. The moment you heard it, now fear comes. So what you see and what you feel, you can feel you are dying. You can feel things are not right. You can feel there is failure. You can feel disappointment. What have you heard? Now, these are the gates. You know, seeing, the eye gate, hearing, and all of that. That is why when you are in faith, you are not moved by what you see. You are not moved by what you hear. You are not moved by circumstances. You are only moved by the word of God. Because one word, it could even be news.
Speaker 2Okay, from God. tv3 metro tv cnn about how
Speaker 1the economic downtime you could just be passing by and you hear it and all of a sudden if you start coming your heart i'm going to get broke how am i going to survive it could be from your workplace that you have listed certain number of people you know these people must be aha they can't continue with the fame again and you are sure your name will be there so you know your life has come to an end so the things you hear the things you feel all of these things can bring fear and i'm sure the disciples that is what fuel their fear because jesus asked them a question why are you fearful because these were experienced fishermen you now according to tradition these guys were experienced on the lake of galilee because they were from galilee so and they were fishermen in that day you know the lake of galilee was a very dangerous lake it was known to have swallowed whole ships yeah but they call the sea of galilee the entrance to abyss because historically in those days it has had killed so many people now traditionally in those days it was said that it was said that leviathan leviathan actually lived in the lake of galilee you know leviathan in the book of job is just a poetic description of satan they believed that he lived in the lake of galilee and the waves could mount up to 20 feet high so many died on that lake so pay what was happening this fisherman knew all of these stories so i'm sure these stories were playing in your mind aid is coming death is coming we know it it is happening again we've had it
Speaker 2so the things you've heard you are hearing can bring doubt now
Speaker 1the reason for the cousin or the twin of fear is doubt the reason for fear is actually doubt so the things you hear what the doctor said now if the doctor says you are going to die what is it to the one who conquered death now now now if the doctor says you are going to die in a man's time what is that to the one who has the keys of death and hades the one who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to life through the gospel what is that to him if only we can believe doubt so the things you've heard and you've seen and you felt and circumstances now it brings in doubt it brings in doubt sometimes you are waiting on the lord you've waited our patience but but the things you are hearing and seeing are you sure it will come to pass will the lord do it will i marry him will i marry will it work well a lot of doubts now you remember when that comes then fear is coming now how did how did satan tempt adam and eve by introducing doubt see he said has god said and he said oh okay god knows us that if you eat this tree it is going to make you wise so he said the cast in shadows and trying to tell them that god has had hidden motive something to hide from them so the serpent was subtle he was just casting doubt into their minds and he embraced it and the result was the result was i was afraid that's what adam said because that had already come now when peter was walking on the sea jesus told peter come and he was walking on the reality of the word come so peter walked on the sea wonderfully the bible says he saw yeah and peter answered and said lord if it be thou bid me come unto thee on the water let's go on and he said come and when peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water to go to jesus the next verse but when he saw the wind boisterous he was afraid he was afraid and beginning to sing peter walked on the water to go to jesus the next verse but when he saw the wind boisterous he was afraid he was afraid he was afraid and beginning to sing peter walked on the water to go to jesus the next verse but when he saw the wind boisterous he was afraid he was afraid he was afraid he was afraid and beginning to sing he was mad he cried lord save me whenever you are sinking remember to cry like peter remember now look at jesus's explanation and immediately jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and caught him and said unto him oh thou of little faith wherefore dost thou doubt the bible says he was afraid but jesus said why did you doubt so when there is doubt doubt is what brings in fear that's a senior cousin that goes ahead to bring in fear
Speaker 2so he'll cause you to doubt so why why are you fearful he'll cause you to doubt to doubt his word
Speaker 1now to doubt god's word is an insult against god now what has god said to you why are you doubting his word do you know what it means to doubt his word to doubt god means that you have found him to be unfaithful to his promise that's what it means you have found him to be unfaithful
Speaker 2to his promise that's what it means to doubt to doubt god means that you have found him to be unfaithful to his promise to doubt means god is a liar god is a liar
Speaker 1god is not faithful to keep his word to doubt but god is not a man that he should lie whatever he said concerning your life will come to pass the devil always brings in doubt doubt you are afraid you are going to die you are afraid you have an accident everything you introduce little little doubt you know when he tempted Jesus the devil quoted scripture he quoted from Psalm 91 verse 11 he said he shall give his angels charge over thee they shall bear thee he took one phrase out of it he took something from it compare Matthew 4 and Psalm 91 to keep thee in all your ways he didn't quote that Satan quoted Psalm 91 and took the statement to keep you in all your ways so he'll give his angels charge over you but he took it from the middle so Satan didn't add to keep you in all your ways so that you know that okay the angels are with me but as to whether they'll keep me in all my ways you know to cast certain doubt would they keep and protect me all is all the word all is past that means all with no exemption the angels are going to keep you but he can't stop having doubt would they do it
Speaker 2you see doubt and unbelief and fear can make angels inactive but God never feel his word in his word
Speaker 1I read Psalm 91 and I realized how much we are protected he says that he shall cover thee with his fetters that is above you and under his wings will you trust under you his truth will be your shield and your buckler that means we are covered all around above beneath above truth buckler and shield left and right so you are covered above his fetters his wings beneath then on the left and on the right shield and buckler we are covered all around we are protected hallelujah this is Psalm 91 from verse 4 to verse 6 and he says thou shalt not be afraid now let's go on alright verse 5 thou shalt not be afraid for the terror that for the terror by night say night now the arrow that flyeth by day say day the next verse now the pestilence that worketh in darkness say darkness and the destruction that wasteth at noonday so we have night we have day we have noonday we have darkness that means all seasons you are protected all seasons all seasons are protected day or night noon night every time you are protected never doubt his word he is faithful to his word so he says why are you fearful why are you fearful how is it that you have no faith that's another book but this one he says why are you fearful oh ye of little faith oh ye of little faith now Jesus said he rebuked them tender rebuke for little faith why did he call it little faith why did he call it little faith why are you fearful oh ye of little faith you know why because before they crossed the lake Jesus says let us pass over to the other side listen Jesus says let us pass Jesus didn't say let us go halfway and drown Jesus didn't say let us go under he said let us pass over to the other side understand this that they knew Jesus as the Messiah but they did not fully understand his authority they didn't know that he had authority even over the physical element the truth is that before they went on the sea according to Matthew's account they had met there the centurion okay and Jesus had taught them lessons on faith the centurion said speak the word only for I am a man under authority and Jesus commended his faith oh yeah I've never seen such a great faith in Israel Jesus taught them through the centurion that faith comes by the word and after that Jesus taught them the mysteries of the kingdom through the parables of how to operate in the word so they had theoretically they had been loaded with a lot of information but now it has to do with practical faith lessons practical faith lessons so he had given them a lot of resources enough information to be able to handle the storms of life praise God so Jesus says let us pass over the word that he spoke they didn't know his authority the word he spoke let us pass over to the other side was enough but they didn't know it that word was enough let us pass over now who is Jesus who is Jesus Jesus the parables is who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person and upholding all things by the word of his power Hebrews 1.3 you know what it means he upholds all things by the word of his power he calls it the word of his power that means his word is his power his word is his power the word of his power means his word is his power he upholds all things he the earth is hanging you know that what is sustaining the earth the sun is hanging you know that the stars are all hanging what is sustaining the earth and the stars and the moon the word upholds means he is maintaining he is sustaining he is holding all things by the word he just spoke the word he just his word is actually his power he just spoke it and the earth for all these years his word is the force behind the earth imaginary axis the centrifugal forces centrifugal forces every single force in the earth everything the bible says he is before all things and by him all things consist the greek says by him all things are held together you know what it means he is a principle of cohesion in the universe all the laws in the government of the universe reside in him the laws by which the universe work by which the plants work all the laws of the universe they are all residing in him he is a principle of adhesion and cohesion in the universe they are all in jesus he spoke and he came to be the same word the same word he spoke and said let us pass over the same word it carries the same authority that holds the earth they did not believe his authority god has spoken to you but you don't believe what he has said because you don't believe his authority so you are giving in to unnecessary fears you are doubting and questioning
Speaker 2what he has said you are doubting and questioning
Speaker 1you know jesus it's all about knowing jesus and his integrity the man asleep he just spoke the word and went to sleep because the word will accomplish everything if the word says let us pass over come hold me the heaven may crash the earth may remove the sea may remove the planets the stars may fall they will cross over because the word that holds the universe is the word that he spoke that's the word
Speaker 2the one lying down is the creator of the universe that is the creator
Speaker 1he is the one who made the seas he is the one who made the winds he is the one who made the waves the one lying down the bible says he came to his own and his own received him not have you read that before now let me explain what it means he came to his own the first own in the greek is written in the neuter in the greek is in the neuter gender but the second own is in the masculine gender so the first own neuter gender is addressed to creation to plants to trees to rocks to sea created things that's neuter gender we use neuter gender to what is created but masculine gender we use for human beings praise god so the first own is addressing creation the second own is addressing the Jews so he came to his own he came to his own creation but his own people masculine gender didn't receive him but creation received him that is why he spoke to the fig tree and it obeyed that is why he spoke to the fish and it obeyed he spoke to the cock cruel by his word creation obeyed him he walked on the sea and gravity had to salute creation actually saluted and obeyed him because he is the maker of them all things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made the Greek actually says by him all things has come to being and without him has not come to being anything that has come to being so that's Jesus hallelujah that's Jesus he is the one in Psalm 89 verse 1 verse 9 he says thou rulest over the raging storms and when the waves when the waves thereof arise thou stillest them this is about Jesus and he was asleep they didn't know who he was if they knew who he was his words would have been okay so because Jesus says let us pass over to the other side they couldn't believe his word that he spoke so he said why are you fearful why are you fearful I've already spoken a word it's an old year of little faith now Jesus has told you some things that will happen in your life but it's like what is happening presently is just opposite to what he said will happen in your life old year of little faith why are you still doubting if he said it he would do it all the promises of God
Speaker 3in him are yea and amen he will never fail he will never change God is not a man that he should lie neither the son of man that he should repent has a son of man has he said it will he not do it has he spoken shall he not make it good God has spoken once ye twice have I heard that power belongeth unto God whatever he has said will surely come to pass God never feels the Bible says concerning God it says I have sworn in my holiness I will not lie
Speaker 1unto David God cannot lie God cannot lie my covenant will I not break nor alter the thing which has gone out of my lips and when God made promise to Abraham because he could swear by no greater he swore by himself saying in blessing I will bless thee and in multiplying I will multiply thee and so when he had patiently endured he obtained the promise the Bible says that he a man swore by an oath and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife wherein God willing the more abundantly to show to the heirs of promise day unchangeability immutability he doesn't change his mind about his promises the immutability of his promises of his counsel he confirmed it by swearing by an oath that by two immutable things in which it is impossible for God to lie it is impossible you can have a strong consolation who have fled for a refuge by two immutable things in which it is impossible for God to lie based on the scriptures God had to swear by himself that means if what he has said doesn't come to pass he will stop being God the truth of scripture is confirmed by an oath it is interposed by an oath the oath of God is behind it he says if I don't perform it I'll stop being God God swore by his Godhead whatever he has said can never be denied denied his word is sure his word is true forever oh God that word is settled in the heavens why are you fearful why are you afraid if he said it it will come to pass let's hold on to his word he is steadfast he has never failed anybody he can never fail he can never fail he is faithful God promised he is the true
Speaker 3and the faithful witness the beginning of the creation of God he is the amen he is the amen the true and the faithful witness the true and the faithful he is faithful to keep that
Speaker 1which we commit unto him he is faithful to the end he is faithful faithful. He is faithful. He is faithful.
Speaker 3Why are ye fearful? He said, fear thou not for I am with thee. Be not dismayed. You know what it means to be dismayed? You are moving up and down. Pissing up and down. Where is help coming from? Hey, I'm doomed. I'm dying. Who will help me? He says, don't be dismayed. Don't be dismayed for I am with you. He says, I will help you. I will strengthen you. I will applaud you with my right hand of righteousness. Fear is gone forever.
Speaker 1God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of sound mind. You will not fear to sleep. You will not fear by night. You will not fear in the heights. Fear is gone. You will live in peace. You will sleep and your sleep will be sound. You will never be afraid. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 2Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, you have little faith.
Speaker 1Sometimes you are calling on God but it's not in faith. Master, don't you care that we are perishing? Little faith cries on God. Peter also cried. They all cried to him. Did you know that actually, if they had faith, they would have handled the situation and allowed the Lord to sleep. Jesus had given them enough resources to handle the situation but they disturbed his sleep. That was not the time to wake him up, actually. Once upon a time, Moses was before the Red Sea. The Egyptians were coming in their chariots, almost like they were hemmed in. Moses' heart was crying unto God. God says, Moses, Moses, why are you crying unto me? Moses, why are you crying unto me? He says, lift up the rod and you divide it. God didn't expect Moses to even call upon him. So why are you crying on me, calling on me? Why are you crying unto me? Jesus says, why are you so fearful? Why are you disturbing my sleep? Because you know what? He has already given us what he takes. He knows it. He says, if you have faith, you will say to this mountain, be thou removed and be cast into yonder place. See, we have faith to move mountains but instead of speaking to the mountains, we are complaining about those mountains to God. We complain about the mountains to God but he said, speak to those mountains. That is what faith does. Speak to the mountains. God is faithful. See yourself in his love. You will enjoy life. That is why Jesus died. He died for you. He died to give you peace. He came to guide our feet in the way of peace, in the way of shalom. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because his trust is in you. Malo kore masanga taka ika vasaka Great peace hath thee which love thy Lord. Nothing shall offend them. Just marry the word. Just meditate on the word. Every fear cannot hold you. Rabba kamba la zumba rakaka. The devil can have no stronghold on you. Iba shaka ika vaka stu shiva'a kabaramba sote Every fear is gone. Mamama. Mamama. You know what they said? They said, what manner of man is this? Jesus commanded the winds and the waves. They were shocked and said, what manner of man is this that even the winds and the waves are obeying him? You know what it means? What manner? The word manner putapen literally means from what origin is this? This man that the Greeks is from which far country? Which specie? Which breed? Which far country is this man? He doesn't belong to us. Humanity is bound in fear. Where is his origin? From which country? That's a Greek. From which country? Which specie? Which breed? Brethren, the good news is that you belong to the same order. As he is. Not even as he was. So are we in this world. We are born again. We are born of the incorruptible seed. We are after his order. We can have his peace. As he is, so are we. We have put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness. It is created according to who God is. We are created essentially according to who God is. And now listen. Adam. You know what Adam said? I was afraid because I was naked. What is the cause of fear? Nakedness. You know nakedness in the bible? Shame and guilt. So shame and guilt. It is called condemnation. Condemnation is what brings fear. Shame and guilt. I was naked. Now what is the difference between shame and guilt? Shame says I am wrong. Guilt says I did wrong. Condemnation means condemnation. Condemnation is the root of fear. You know why people are afraid? They feel condemned. Why do they feel condemned? Because they didn't do what God said they should do. So out of condemnation has come fear. What was God's solution? You know what God did? God is the first person to perform a sacrifice. He took an animal and killed it. And the blood came out. God preached to Adam in a non-verbal form that a guilty sinner cannot clothe himself. He can stand before me by a bleeding sacrifice. And God took the skin of the animal to clothe man's nakedness. You know what it means to take the skin to clothe man's nakedness. That animal is a type of Christ. Our righteousness. Today he has given us the robe of righteousness as our covering for every nakedness. Righteousness is the antidote to every kind of fear. So in Isaiah 54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established and thou shalt be far not close to oppression. Far. See I'm far from oppression. He didn't say you'll be close to oppression. You'll be far from oppression. What is the reason? For thou shalt not fear. When you are established in righteousness, you will not fear. You know why? God is treating you like his son. Because righteousness means you are in the son's place. His acceptance is your acceptance. Your sins and iniquities will I remember them again no more. There is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Righteousness. Whenever fear is coming, say I am the righteousness of God in him. I have the standing of Jesus. I am his righteousness. Therefore being justified by faith we have peace. Righteousness should give you peace. It is called the peaceable fruit of righteousness. The work of righteousness shall be peace and the effect of righteousness shall be quietness and confidence and assurance forever. Righteousness. You will not fear darkness. You will not fear poverty. You will not fear success. The fear of God. The fear of man. The fear of Satan. Fear of rejection. Fear of height. Fear of accident. Fear of being in the plane. Fear. Of being afraid. Fear. Of marriage. Fear of not giving birth. Fear of getting pregnant. Fear of giving birth. Every kind of fear. Fear in your dreams. Fear. Fear. Fear. Fear. Tonight we dismiss fear. Tonight we are in faith. See yourself in God's love. You are cradled in his bosom. Fill with his love. Fill with his love. Perfect love. Cast out fear. Perfect love. Cast out fear. Perfect love. Now fear is a spirit. And I see the spirit of fear living you. Fear comes from outside. It doesn't come from within. We don't have fear inside. It comes externally. And that force is gone. You are free. Come on. Prophesy
