I had a couple of different accounts, because I did a Dapper Cigar. I did Dapper Smoke. Yeah, Dapper Smoke, yeah. I had like. Dapperly Gents. I think I had Dapper Gents to do like. I had this. Remember when we were doing. I was doing. We were thinking about doing Cigars, Fashion. Yeah, multiple pages. Lifestyle, right? Because you had all these, you saw all these pages that were doing these, like, networking pages. And they would have, you know, gentleman's fashion, gentleman's car, gentleman's luxury, gentleman's style, gentleman's watch, gentleman. All these gentleman pages, right? And you could go in and say, "Hey, I'd like to promote one of these pages." And they would say, "Oh, well, if you want one page, just give me this amount. If you want all 10 pages, is this one?" Said all these different pages. So I was like, "I wanted to do one myself." And, you know, nothing came of it, but. Yeah, so we made these. Burner Instagram accounts that me and Justin would go live, just ourselves. And we would screen record the live. And then that would be an episode. So if you go back to our early episodes when COVID first happened, that's how we did it, dude. Yeah, and then we would do it as. Then we. No, that was actually not, originally when we first did it, interviews before COVID. I got first interview with Leo from Nova Sagar. You know what we did? We facetimed on my computer, and then we screen-recorded it. And then that's how. Boing! And then that's you also? Yeah, and then that's how we made an episode. So then we figured out by COVID times that that doesn't really work, and we can't do that. So, anyway, speaking of technology, we wanted to talk about. I just feel like in this last month, or month and a half, this new AI company, Samba, or Sora, came out. I don't, dude, I don't know any of the companies. I just see like the results. I see the same. The same. Watermark. I think it's called Samba. Samba, or Sora, Sora? Yeah, Sora official, yeah. The one on these guys, S-O-R-A. Every wild AI video, they're behind it, with real people. It's like, it'll be like a baby playing on the floor, and there's a dog right next to the baby, and then there's like a bookshelf, and the bookshelf will like fall down, and the dog like saves the baby, and the guy comes in, "Oh my God, you saved him!" "You saved him!" Bro, yes. And I'm looking like. I just saw that video. It was like a German Shepherd. Yeah. And I was like, "Holy shit, that's so crazy!" And I look at the comments, and it's like, "AI, AI, AI." And that's what I was gonna. I was telling you before we hit record is. It's gotten. Salud. Cheers. It's gotten so bad. So good. So good that it's bad. It's good to be bad. Yeah. That's how to put your head. It's gotten. The AI technology has gotten so good that I've had people send me stuff that says like, "What, dude, this is awesome." I've had somebody send me a video. It was a real. I said this on the show. No, I'll send you. I had sent somebody sent me something that said, "Hey, you sent to me and a bunch of other guys in this little chat." And he goes, "Hey, we gotta. We gotta go here next year for Fall Golf." And it was a video of like a golf course and all the different holes in the mountains with the trees and everything. And it looked beautiful. And I'm like, "Where is this?" So I go to the comments. And it says, like, "Red Hook Golf Club in Virginia." So I go to Google and I type in Red Hook Golf Club Virginia. There is no Red Hook Golf Club in Virginia. Or Vermont, it was Vermont. I think there is no Red Hook. That's a. So I go back to the thing. I said, "Red Hook, I'm like. I just show the video of it." I go back to the thing. It's totally AI. It was not a real place. But it's gotten so good that people are thinking this stuff is real. I've had parents that. Look at this one. This is Bob Barker. Look, Bob Barker with. Yeah, I know. You sent me that one, yeah. Right? Well, feast your eyes on this. A brand new dinner scare. Yeah, it's gotten. No, but it's scary because. Like, when my buddy had sent me the one with the Golf Course. I thought that was real places. That's a beautiful course. I'd love to play there. Red Hook, let me look it up. But that's a small thing. Yeah. It's okay if you mistake that. Like, it's a golf course. I thought the golf course was real. It's not a. But. But now, think about when it's not okay. Somebody sends you a video of Trump saying something or if this person's saying something or this person's saying something, they go, "Can you believe what he said, Bob Barker?" And they just spam it out to everybody. Yeah, I know. And they think it's real. It's like, that's not real. That's. Well, I mean, with the Golf Course, if they really want to go that far, they could have just set up a website, set up a bank account, and they could have just said, "Hey, we're taking reservations." And you could have just booked. Yeah, that's scammed. But that's what I'm saying. And it's gotten so believable because I've had parents that send me stuff. That said, "Wow, this is so cool. Can you believe this?" And I look at the video. And I instantly know I'm like, "That's not real. That's a fake video." Because we've. We're a little bit of a younger generation compared to our parents. So we can pick up on some of the digital things. Like, you can tell what. Some of the stuff you can tell is, "Hey, I always look at like the face or like the skin to see it like, sometimes like, I don't know why, but like the skin or the face, like moves for some reason. Or you can look at like. Look at when they walk or when they turn or something, like the hand does. Yeah, they do some weird shit. Yeah, so I saw when they sent me, they go, "This is so cool. You guys should do this." And I go, "That's not real." Well, I saw a bunch of things with like Jake Paul. Jake Paul. Like, they were doing a bunch of videos with Jake Paul. And being racist. And saying all this wild shit. And he was like, "That's not real. I don't know if he was for real." But he made a video like, "I'm losing business. I'm losing opportunities." Because all you guys keep putting these weight, like, these videos in me. And people think they're real. And unless they have the watermark, like where it says, where it says Sora, you don't. How are you gonna know? I'm gonna show it to you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Here it is, right here. Is that you or me? That's you. Oh shit, that was you. That's you. What the fuck? There's nothing playing. Like, if you're a car looking at it, but like, if I'm just sitting here looking at it, I can just tell from the sand, from the grass, and just like the texture of the picture, I can see it's AI generated. I don't know how to explain it, but. But it's wild though. Like, he just said that to me. He's like, yo, we gotta go here. At first glance, I'm like, yo, that's awesome. And then, so I tapped the caption to see, like, all right, where is this? Is this a real thing? And it had an ad, it said, red something. Hey, what did I say? It said, uh. Go to the caption. Vermont, USA. What does it say? Red. Tag your full golf force and red wagon golf club Vermont, USA. Yeah, red wagon. So it actually put a place in there. It's not a real place. 'Cause that's what happened. Is it sent to me? And I said, oh, where is this place? And I was going to go into the caption, and it's going to be like, you know, not a real AI. This is whatever. But it had a place, like red wagon. Okay, bro. How do you create a place? I mean, but. I think, obviously, there's, like, if you have to get to a technical last point, like a technical aspect of it, where it's actually being used in guy court, like, you know, say someone like, right, like prison break. Have you ever seen prison break? Yeah, like, you have a video. It's like, hey, I got a video of him right here saying, you know, it's guy killing the president of the United States. The video right here, it's just got to be till Charlie Kirk. It's a video of his face, him saying, I did it. Yeah. I shot the clerk. Yeah, I shot the clerk. I shot the clerk. But, wow. But I would assume there was, like, a layer of, like, I'm assuming, like, in the technical aspect, you can determine whether it's a real video and, like, an AI generation. You mean, like, in the code? Like, in the source code? Yeah, exactly. I'm sure there's got to be a code. I don't know, man. I would assume so. But, even take the court aspect of it. Say someone who's not okay, right? Say someone's watching these crazy videos of someone they don't like or something they don't like, and it's constantly coming up as AI, but they don't know the difference and all of a sudden they base their decision or actions on that video. That's wild. It gets, it's gotten so good that it's almost indistinguishable. I also will say this, though. It's also made people extremely lazy. And I'll talk about the cigar industry in general. What, what, bro? The hell was that? The hell was that? Hopefully you didn't catch it on a microphone, on your freaking flat, on Sally, farting in the freaking studio. Excuse me. The one that sounds like an email. Well, I want to question Mark. Is there more? Or it's a car dime. But, what was I saying? Oh, so like, I noticed, right? In the cigar industry, not cigar industry, but cigar, cigar on social media. There's so many images of just AI-generated photos. And I'm like, this is so wack and it's so lazy. It's trying to use it every once in a while, all right? But to use it as your base way of making content. Like, if you want to get for a flyer or like an advertisement art, sure. Or like a caption that, hey, can you give me, you know, here's my picture. Can you give me five different captions? I mean, you wouldn't actually know if AI made that caption. But it's just easy stuff because it makes the caption an add 50 hash, because I don't want to put all the hashtags in. So if you do a chat, you be T, and you say, or grok on Twitter. Well, it's called grok, I think, yeah, on X. You say, hey, can you just make me a caption and add 10 hashtags? And then pose a question. And it does it, and I can just copy and paste it. Save me 30 seconds. I'm in it, bro. But generating a full image? No, no, no, no. I love AI 100% for emails. I love writing up an email, because I tend to like use a lot of words when I don't need to. And I'd be like, hey, why use 10 words when five will do. Yeah. Yeah. I said, make this shorter. Keep the same content. Make it professional. And whatever other instructions. And nine times out of 10, I always use the, although sometimes like, sometimes you, you feel like you don't want to be professional. Like, like, I get to professional, but sometimes I don't want it to be nice. I want it to come off as like, you're an ass. Oh, no, that's my, my, my, I might be an issue of myself. I'm like, you're going to like, I want it to come off as like, no. If I, I, I only send it if it makes it sound like me. Like, I don't like, do you have to double check it? No, definitely. Yeah, if it's too robotic and it's too like, I have to make it, I always make sure it sounds like me. Like, is this something that I would say? Because sometimes I do put in words or phrases that it's like, like, that's like way too, like, no, I've used it for emails too. Like, when you're, what I, I find that it's great for, you have a lot of things that you want to say, but you're not sure, like, how to order them or what. You're like, I got all this stuff and I got to get into an email. But yeah, so you go and went to like, hey, write me an email, make it concise, make it professional, direct, direct. And these are the three things that I want to say in the email. Yeah. This, this, and this. And then it generates an email for you and it's good. And then you can tweak it and blah, blah, blah. What I like AI for, and I, I say AI, but I'm referring to Chatgapetique, because that's the only AI that I use. I don't use anything else. That's all. I'm Chatgapetique. You know, I, you know, I have it on my computer. It's Microsoft, you know, I only use Chatgapetique on the phone. I don't really use it. No, I have it. It's actually installed on my computer. I get an app so like, I can't install anything on this. Like, I just, yeah, you got to, well, no, it's a work, it's a work computer. But they don't, they don't allow it on there. They don't, I haven't tried it, but I couldn't even download my golf simulator on here. My, my, was I paid software, like paid for big, big company. And they're like, we can't, you can't do that. I think it's called co-pilot, is that what? Anyway, but I use Chatgapetique for, it's great. For visualizing, like, design. So, for instance, what do you mean by that? We're looking at a place of state, okay? And you have a house, right? There's a house that we're, this is, we're trying to build. I said, okay, the house that they, they show me on, like, is only just the house. It doesn't have like a basement or anything. It's just a house on a concrete slab. But we're building, we're thinking about putting it in a basement, right? Because of the contours, it's better to have a walkout basement, just makes more sense. So, I recently just did, I said, hey, take this house. Show me what it would look like if it has a walkout basement. And I put it into Chatgapetique. And I said, you know, it has this, like, little porch on the front. And the house, and I was like, now, take that, put a, a basement in it, and make this porch like a balcony and show me what it would look like. And in a minute, it popped it out. And it looked great. I go, that's freaking awesome because now I have sometimes, yeah. And like, or if you look at a piece of property, you could take a picture of the property and then take the house and be like, put this house on that property. Let me see what it looks like. Or you can take a picture of your room, you can take a picture of your bedroom. And then you say, here's my bedroom. But I want you to put this bed frame in it, this TV in it, this plant in it, and this dresser in it. Replace the stuff I have with that. And it'll do it and you can see it and they go, that's really cool because now you can be like, oh, maybe I don't, maybe I want this color wall, not that color. So that's where I think it's really, really helpful. Well, but creating an entire image of yourself saying, hey, making me an image of me smoking a cigar on Mount Everest. And then you post it like, that's stupid. It's just, well, your, your, your apparel right now is AI generated, essentially. It is. I, we, we took an image, a different, a different label like that. Shout out to Patriot cigars, my boy Alan Jacobi. He gave us years ago one of his Patriot cigar hoodies. And his hoodie had his cigar label just like that. Mm-hmm. I, I think I've talked to some of the podcasts before. But I always, I always liked the way that looked. So what I did was, I went to Chad GBT. I took a picture of Alan's hoodie. I said, hey, make me a label, the layout of the label just like this. Include BD cigar company in the middle, the blueprint and the diligent and the year on each side. And it's pitted out. I had to do a couple of revisions and a couple of additions, but it was all through AI. But see, but that's the thing is where, and now it's on our swear, and it's on our logo. You, but here's the thing, you could do that without AI. You could, but it makes it much more efficient to say, because you could take a cigar label. I did it in 30 minutes. I know, you could take a cigar label and I could put the lettering on here and the lettering here. And I could have done it in paint for all we, for all purpose sake. But Chad GBT can spit it out very quickly and I can just do some touch-ups. But it's not saying that, you know, you're not using it to create some video that's going to be used as slant, I'm using it for, like, for a logo. Like I could have made that logo. I saw, I forgot what I saw on Instagram and I was like, like, that's lazy. I'm like, that looks so, and but I wouldn't even say it's, maybe it is lazy, but like, you just know it's AI and it's not, it doesn't, you can see, like, yeah, some of the video, like I imagine, imagine we had AI with all the pictures that we used to take. Oh, I know, dude, we probably could come up with a wild ideas with all the pictures right now. Do one right now. You could probably take, let's say, let's go and Chad GBT take a picture. Yeah, let's each do one. Let's see, let's take a picture. I'm going to say, let's add photos, photo library. You probably, I don't know if I have any. I'll take a photo of, I don't know, here you go. So here, here, I have one like this, ready? I'm going to take this photo. It's a picture of me, it's a photo of me holding a cigar like this as a fountain in the background. I'm going to say, um, well, here, like, take this picture. This is an AI generated picture that I made from one of our photo shoots and I said, make it look like it's 1960s and it made me look extremely old. But I wouldn't have, but I would never post this. I just can't wait to see it now. So take this picture. That's kind of cool. Um, and make it look like, um, on, on, make it look like, uh, make it look as if I'm on, as if I'm on the top of Mount Everest. Um, leave the cigar, the hand with the cigar, but replace the, replace the background, I was just like, um, also, um, I put, I put the fountain on top of, you know what I said, mount Everest to picture me sitting on my deck upstate holding the blueprint. And I said, take this picture and make it look like I'm watching gladiators in the background during the Roman Empire. As you said, I said, take this picture and make it look as if I'm on top of Mount Everest. Leave the hand with the cigar, but replace the background. Also, um, put the fountain on top of Mount Everest too. See what it says? Let's see what happens. I just, why not? See my, my biggest thing, right? And then, but then the people were going to post it and be like, me on top of Mount Everest, focus your, and it's like, what? But where I think AI is going to be really dangerous and it probably already is, but it's like, with like phone calls, like, you get a fake number that looks like a legit number. Don't get me started robots dude. The robots have been taken over phone calls. It took over secretaries jobs a long time ago and it drives me up a wall. You know what happened today? Your pet peeve, I had a, I had a, uh, business phone call today. It was a three way and it was with, uh, a client. In Isaiah 12. Sometimes you gotta pay extra for that. Yeah, definitely pay. It was a client of art or mine. And we had a, and I had a three way call and they access a really important question. And as we're speaking, it dropped my phone. I was the one who created the phone call. It dropped. Tell me you throw your phone out the whole field. So they're like, hello. I said, sorry about that. 2025 and we're still dealing with drop phone calls and they all laugh. Yeah. Yeah. But, but I'm like, how does that, and it still goes back to your day? Dude, you got to, because you have how many satellites? They still drop a phone call. But these robo calls, I wouldn't even come consider robo calls, because you could back in the day. You could see when it was a robo call. Now I'm sure there's going to be these, these voice, uh, like, enhanced. Hi. Is this so, I would like to talk to you. They can pull my voice from social media. They could take out my podcast. And now they can, for me, I didn't call my mom. It's like, mom, I'm really in a bad spot. I need $10,000. Please help me. And they're going to, and they can get my number and just copy it. And someone they call, it looks like my number. And, yeah. How does, here's, here's the thing. How it happens? The people that are listening, right now. How do they know that this is an AI generated? True. You can make AI generated podcasts. You can have, you can go to AI and say, hey, listen. Here's our podcast. We have so much data. There's 300 plus episodes. Create us an episode. How do they know? It could be AI right now. How will they know? How would they know? How would they know? You know what I'm saying? No, this is not AI. Okay, this is legit now. But, but you can. People, you can create an entire podcast. An entire show. Because podcast has no face. It's all listening. You can create an entire one through AI. You don't even have to say a single word. I'll even go one further. Teaching, education, right? Not from the student aspect, from the teacher aspect. I was working at our, I was working at a tax office last year during tax season. So I would. We got 15 minutes by the way. We have a very important business role. Here, look, here, look. And, uh, so I would interview people coming in to do the taxes and I would know what their jobs are. And I would obviously talk and get to know him. And one was a chemistry teacher. And one was like a math teacher. They retired, collected pension. And then I went back to another school district. But they said now all their lessons plans for chemistry and methodology, AI generated. They pay for the chat, GBT premium. And they just have chat GBT. Do all their lesson plans. Everything that they're going to teach them. I'm like, what? What? Yeah. Just getting lazy, I know. I get it. I get it. It's super efficient. And why wouldn't you do it? I'm just saying for them, I don't mind it. Because they're already, they're already basically retired. They're kind of just doing it to make more money. So they're like, why am I going to work hard as a 50, 60 year old, as a teacher when I can just use chat GBT? But reverse it. New teachers. I know it's, it's, do you think about this? Same, bro. I always thought about like consulting or the consulting industry or the coaching industry, like trainers and life coaches. How many guys you see or gals on Instagram that are physically fit, right? They have a channel or whatever, a fitness channel. And you see them jack to doing all their stuff. And they say, oh, for online coaching available, you click the link. And they say, I can, I can, I can create you a diet plan just like mine to achieve the body, just like mine. Yeah. People like, oh, he's got a great body. She's got a great body. Click it. And you say, oh, it's only, it's only going to be 10 bucks. And I'll create you. Tell me what your goal is and tell me how much time you have and blah, blah, blah. And I'll generate a meal plan. So you click the button, paid at 10 bucks or whatever, and you give them all of the information. I am this old, I weigh this much. I'm this tall, my lifestyle is like this. I don't have a lot of free time. I can only work out X amount of days a week, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, all this stuff. Who was to say that that coach doesn't just copy everything that you said and paste it into chat, you'd be T and say, create me a diet plan for this. And then they go, and they copy and send it back. Or why you even approached the fitness coach when you can just do it yourself. No, I'm not a job. I know that's what I'm saying. But on the flip side is people see the body and like I want that. He must know what he's talking about. Click, let me pay for that. People are naive. And they do it. And then he's like, watch this spit it back out. Why not? Why not? 100%. And they could probably even order me. And listen, this is not saying I'm anti-chatchyBT or AI. I use AI all the time for questions and figuring out shit. One of the, one of the couple, one of the people said, oh yeah, I think I would totally get in there. This is my initial thought. If it's local, like if it's local streets, maybe, if I'm going on highways to the, and I gotta want the airport and it's an hour drive, not, not likely, not likely, that's my initial thought. If I come going, if I'm going like, now you have some time to think about it, what's your second thought? No, that's, that's my thought. If I'm going to like a restaurant, that's two miles away. Did you hear the story about the woman who missed her meeting because she was stuck in a self-driving car? I didn't hear that story, but I did see a store, a video where a guy was on his way to the airport and the car was malfunctioning. He was just going in a circle. That's the video. It was a guy though. Let's go. I heard it as a girl. It doesn't matter. There was somebody in the car. He's on the phone with them. He's like, the car will not leave the parking lot. It's going in circles. It glitched and it thought it like, it dropped them up but couldn't drop them off. So it just kept going in a circle and he was stuck in the thing for like two hours. I go, that's got to be a lawsuit. That's got to be. But I don't know. I'm not getting it. Because here's the thing. I've seen how many movies have we had where it is, like, you know, because there's another one of my buddies works for Tesla and we're talking about the robots, the Tesla robots. They're trying to put a Tesla robot in everybody's home. Elon's ultimately trying to put Tesla robots as house helpers. I go, uh, what movie did we have? Was it in the last how many years? Oh, that's right. I robot when I had robots in everybody's house and these things malfunctioned and wound up taking over this and not a good idea, man. You know, you know, doing household chores builds. It builds character for yourself. Yeah. And I wouldn't even have it. I wouldn't even have it. She has a robot in mind because I'm just people listen to me, you know, so yeah, let alone a robot. So, but yeah, so I'm, we're going to have self driving cars and we're going to have robots. There's the fact that the thing about it's three o'clock in the morning, you're sleeping and you have a robot docked ready to work the next day and all of a sudden, malfunctions and now in your family houses, a robot will all of a sudden, boom, now it's walking around like no robots chopping vegetables and it's like, oh, hold on. Yeah. No, not up in here. Not up in here. Yeah. Last thing you see, you wake up in the middle of the night. There's a big red glowing light coming from your robot's chest. They're just, hello. What would you like for breakfast today? You need to stay indoors. You're a danger to your son. Get out of here. No, not doing it. Not doing it, man. No, I'm family. Listen to me with that. That happens. I'm going up into the mountains. You can come with peace. I speak out of the mountains. My house upstairs looking sick. I got, yeah, I'll show you ours. What ours is going to look like. But I want to see it. All right. We're going to turn this off. Five more minutes for our very, very important business meeting. And that business meeting is that we need to order more cigars.
