AI, Radical Transparency, and a New Vision for Democracy

Hello everyone and welcome to EdFatFocus, where we discuss anything related to Ed, our webbing and our personal development. Okay, so today I'm privileged to be jammed by Mohamed Nabi, Anato and Tinkaku, explores the possession of artificial intelligence, public discourse, education, governance and transparency in the creator of AIDOP, which means artificial intelligence, debates of wants, publications and the concept of electing for populism, encouraging critical thinking, open dialogue and informed decision-making. Mohamed, welcome to the show. Thank you for having me. Thank you for the warm introduction. Okay, the first question is, could you tell us about your background and what inspired you? Well, I have a bachelor's degree in mass communication and I worked as a freelance consultant for some time. Now I'm an author and an independent philosopher with the three main pillars. As you mentioned, I created the AIDOP which stands for AI debates on wants, publications. I codified enlightened populism as a behavioural pattern of communication and alternative to blind elitism and ignorant populism. And I'm advocating for the establishment of a unified global government to be ruled by hyperlocal citizen assemblies. Okay, what is AIDOP? How does it work? AIDOP, which stands for AI debates on wants, publications, is a content creation framework. It involves a content creator prompting an AI tool to size their own content and publishing the entire another transcript of back and forth argumentation within 24 hours of the exchange. So you started by creating piece of content whether it's a book or an essay or a video or anything and then you feed the thing to an AI tool and ask the tool to take a position opposed to yours. You engage in back and forth argumentation with the tool, you copy paste the whole conversation without anything and then you publish the content within 24 hours of that exchange. Okay, what impact do you expect from the application of AIDOP? Well, I think it may have a revolutionary impact within publishing education policymaking, humanities and social sciences. As for publishing, it changes the dynamics of authorship and the relationship between the author of the readers instead of asking readers to blindly accept conclusions or reject them. They can follow the reasoning behind these conclusions and they can formulate their own opinions occurring within education. There is a panic within the educational systems all over the world around AI and the user AI. Instead of banning all alarms, we can benefit from them by integrating them ethically within educational systems. Students can be assigned to submit AIDOP sessions at the end of each assignment and they can run debates with their colleagues afterwards. Policymaking, instead of simply voting or starting a debate on a policy or a bill, you can start the debate after reading a set of arguments and counter arguments provided by the person who proposed the bill and an AI tool. Within humanities and social sciences, these require intensive analysis and they tend to be opinionated so they may get revolutionized with this tool with AIDOP as a content creation framework. What is the difference between blind, elitism, ignorant, populism and elitism? While blind elitism entails blind the following and expert to run elite on certain issues, ignorant populism also involves the absence of an investigation while relying on feelings or trends, while enlightened populism is a behavioural pattern of communication that involves listening to multiple experts, trying to understand how they reach certain conclusions and investigating the information to discover the truth. So enlightened populism is the healthier alternative to blind elitism and ignorant populism. Okay, we decide whether a person is alighting or pleased. It's a self-assessment mechanism because it's a behavioural pattern of communication, so you know whether you are investigating for them to find the truth or not, you are the person to judge yourself. However, I can provide examples of how people interact with information with with embarrassed issues. Let's take climate changes as an example. Many people around the routes celebrated Paris agreement after it was done and because the few experts told us that this agreement was awesome and it was a huge breakthrough without investigating the information they celebrated accordingly. And lots of people followed feelings or trends, they followed feelings or trends and believed that climate change was a hoax and it wasn't real and stuff like that. Enlightened populism entails listening to multiple experts, trying to understand how they reach certain conclusions and investigating the information to discover the truth. In case of climate change, you can simply realize that the agreement is almost useless by reading the actual text of the agreement. The agreement mentions that climate change is a real threat, a technologist that we need to do something about it but does nothing about it. It relies on individual fragmented nations to determine their own contributions, which is useless. If you need to achieve a certain objective, you need to reverse engineer that objective, walk it through milestones and see and say these milestones accordingly. Please provide the brief description of the books if I've written a brief description of the books I've written. The bachelor's of Egypt was my first book in 2013-2011-2012, which has considered a brief era of enlightenment in Egyptian society, so I tried to capture this very to them the book. The second book was titled Enlightened populism Reflections on the New Cycle of Appendama. Enlightened populism is, as I mentioned previously, presented as a healthier alternative to the predominant behaviour of patterns of communication today's world, blind elitism and ignorant populism. My third book is My Interviews Share GPT. I prompt the Share GPT to ask me questions about my old writings. I answered the questions, then I passed back some of the questions to ask me, so readers can compare our answers to the same such questions, and then the open justice is an open, it involves a global movement on the same name, aiming to an idolade under a single government, and then I published philosophical debates with AI. This is the beginning of AI/DUP. The epoch is in January. I got into debates with various AI tools around my previous books, and then my sixth book is titled Ideas that Survive the AI/DUP. It involves assays grouped together. Why do you think a single global government is a necessity? Yeah, I'm talking politics. So, the sixth book, why do you think it is a survival AI/DUP? It's composed of a series of articles paired together, an original article, and then an article which involves an AI/DUP session on the original article, and then I published Satminds Free. Satminds Free is about enabling enlightened populism, disabling indoctrination, and achieving global unity. It also ends with an AI/DUP session. Then my eighth book is Humanities Money. It involves arguments and counter-arguments for the utter use, what I call the utter use of the billionaire class, and why we need to get rid of them. And lastly, truth is sexy. Truth is sexy answers two important questions. What's sexy about uncovering truth, and how can we make truth seeking appealing for future generations? Why do we leave indoctrination? Because I believe that representatives of democracies around the world are corrupt. They are robot by billionaires around the world, and they have failed us so far. So, we need direct democracy, we need to vote on issues ourselves, instead of voting for some people to vote on our behalf. While social media relies on personalization, showing each person, based on their historical interactions within the platform, this ultimately creates a situation which a person's use of social media is an endless state of bias confirmation, even if the person doesn't suffer from confirmation bias. So, let's rely more on a pull strategy instead of a push strategy. Let's find the balance between the two. A pull strategy would involve search engines and alarm lamps. Even search engines and alarm lamps, concerning to echo chambers, they're not used wisely as they both rely on historical data of interactions, using private incognito mode occasionally while submitting queries through multiple search engines and digging deep for multiple sources advisable. Same goes for alarm lamps with the additional feature of intention, getting into a debate with the alarm by prompting it to take a position opposing to yours. What do you believe AI should play in educational and research? While I believe AI should play a role in education, as I mentioned earlier, an advocate role should play an advocate role in education, such as the one I suggested earlier. Students can be asked to submit the AI DOP sessions at the end of each assignment and then have debates with their own colleagues. I can hope to debate in both learning and decision-making. AI can improve learning and decision-making. It depends on how you use it. If you use AI to treat or generate ideas on your behalf, for stuff like that. So you're missing out on everything, you're making your mind numb over time, and you're losing your ability to generate ideas on your own. However, if you use it like a you, if you use it to sharpen your own critical thinking, over time, you can become better at many things, including critical thinking and policy-making, or decision-making. - What is bad, your ideas, about citizen, who's in this mentioned direction? - I've almost wondered about the mechanisms of the current democratic systems, and how they are corrupt, and how they all lead similar conclusions at the end of the day. People around the world have little say, very little say in what's happening around the world, and that's due to the corruption happening in the current system under the representative democracies, where these democratic representatives are both by members of the Ologarchy. And then we see results that you see nowadays extreme wealth and extreme wealth concentration, and extreme wealth inequality around the world. You have hundreds of millions of people living below poverty line, while a few people, maybe not a few people, but a few thousand people own billions of dollars, and they collectively own trillions of dollars, they collectively own most of the resources of the planet. - How do you respond to people to disagree with your process or about covenants, or what is your solution? - Well, people can agree with me however they want, but they need to provide the substance. They need to tell me why it's not a good idea, whether it's a good idea or not, why they think it's not a good idea, and then we can have a debate or discussion, according. Like I have debates with AI tools, I have debates with human beings, and the goals of these debates, the goal of these debates isn't to win or lose. The main objectives include just testing ideas, effectively making dumbshorting, refining one's own thoughts, simply accepting that systems valid or agreeing to those agree in certain points, and that's why do you believe transparency is adventure and publishing and education? - Well, I believe if you're providing something for the public, critical transparency is required. If you're your own private life, you can keep everything secret if you'd like to, but if you're providing something for the public and critical transparency is required, critical transparency in everything, how the funding goes if the content is funded by someone, if the content is sponsored by someone, you need to be transparent about it, and what the content entails, and how did you come up with these ideas, and what's the reasoning behind your own conclusion? But these, effectively, these elements collectively help people formulate better opinions after getting exposed to a content. - Well, the ethical questions we need to ask ourselves is that how are we allowing the systems to be established? How are we allowing Charles Labour and Congo, or Charles Labour and other places around the world to happen when there are a few people or a few thousand people who have collectively most of the resources on the planet? How are we allowing people to be homeless, or lack food and water, or lack healthcare, lack education? How are we allowing these people to live without a dignified standard of living? So the global government, the thumb proposing, shall introduce basic human rights such as shelter, access to clean water and food, education, healthcare, freedom of expression, freedom of movement, and stable speed internet connections. And these, I believe collectively, are a solution for the current ethical questions regarding our current state of humanity. - So, find the cause of this conversation. You've shared your ideas about governments, about AI, educational research, okay? Which of your ideas do you think would have the greatest positive impact if widely adopted? - While I believe the core idea around which my overall philosophy is standing, this is enlightened populism. So AI/DUP at its heart encourages enlightened populism. And the idea of having a world government is an extension of enlightened populism as a behavior pattern of communication. This is what I've reached through practicing enlightened populism. So the main idea is enlightened populism, which is a behavior pattern of communication that involves listening to multiple experts, trying to understand how to reach certain conclusions, and investigating the information to discover the truth. - What advice will you give to young people who want to take independently and evaluate information carefully? - While it starts with time, energy, and awareness. So you mentioned they are already willing to do so. So the first thing to do is tackle how we tackle, how we consume information through the internet. And like I mentioned previously, you can rely less on social media and try to rely more on social engines and alarm. And even while using social engines and alarm, you can use private or you need to move occasionally, submit previous through multiple social engines and dig deep for multiple sources. And additionally, for alarm, you can ask to get into a debate with you by prompting it to take a position opposed to yours.
