I was some of my friends in high school. And I got there first, and who do I run into? Lauren and Michael Bostic. - The Bostic. - And it was so nice seeing my boss out in the wild. - Of course. - And it was like a little unfortunate. My friends were like shout out on our Rachel. One thing we can count on, they're gonna be late. And our tables were like right on top of each other. So I was like basically at their family lunch 'cause they were with their kids and like her sister and it's fiancee. So like I was just like literally at the Bostic Family lunch. And I was catching up with Lauren and she was like, she grabbed me by the shoulders. I was like, I have to tell you, like that performance. I had been able to stop thinking about it. - And I was like, that performance. - Which one? - So I was like, the mass singer. She was like, no. - Dear me. - And I was like, oh, not me thinking you were talking about my singing performance. She was seriously so nice. By the way, she was, I forgot to tell you this. She was like, singer crazy. She's like, I've never seen two people perform like that in my whole life. - Oh my gosh. - She's like, you guys had talent, but it was insane. Like she was being so complimentary. Like I actually felt like uncomfortable being complimented so much. - That's so nice. Yes, if I do reflect back to your media, like our partners and our bosses, like we're very happy with our performance. - Happy with our performance. - And I guess like we've done live shows before, but like not in the context of your media. So they've never seen them. So they don't know like what we do live. - We do put on a hell of a live show. - We put on a hell of a show. And I guess if you didn't know that about us. - She was still talking about it. - It's impressive because like podcasting live, like podcasting is conversation. It's hard to like make it. - Bring it to life. - And people find different clever ways. And they never saw our take on it. - It kind of reminds me of the solo performance I gave at the senior play. I've talked about that many times. And how the faculty at the school like still talks about it. Like anytime I've gone back. Like when Margaret was a few years away. So whenever I went back to like, you know, go to a volleyball game of hers or whatever. If I've ever been in the area. When I tell you like the faculty still talk about my performance. - Yeah. You guys know, I played Cassie. 13th musical. - And you guys know like my tragic senior play stories. - We do. - Jackie finally got a role in the solo performance. - I got a role in the senior play. I worked. I like really tried out so hard. And I was like so excited. Because I know I don't have a great voice. - But you have the passion. - Yeah. And I think like I could act a little bit. - Acting is not hard. - Yeah. And I got a decent role to play Violet. - Beauregard. - In the chocolate factory. - That's a huge role by the way. - Because she goes out early. She's not very root girl. Like it's a huge role. - A huge role. So I got a role. - Literally it's a huge role. - I got a role in my play. And then they canceled the play. - Due to lack of hustle like. - I don't know. It just like wasn't really taking. - Like a fun. - But that's like, that's actually so me. - Yeah. - Like I'm just so glad to have gotten the part. I actually don't really want to get that fun. - No, you know, it's kind of a best case scenario. Because you got the part. Like you prove to everyone that you could do it. You prove to yourself. - But I didn't actually have to deal with it. - Go through with it. - I love that. - Yeah. - That's very me. - So I was about to say I ran into the ball successfully. - That's so fun. - Yeah, it was really fun. I went out to lunch. Just like a midday brunch, you know. - Yeah, yeah. - I also had pasta. I can't lie. But I had brunch, you know, too. We like got a brunch at a table. - Oh, yeah, mo. - Yeah, I love brunch at a table. - And then we also had soul for dinner. - It's so much fish last night. Ben cooked. - I didn't even say soul anymore. - And that's what you took from us since here. Okay? We can't even say soul. Because we had the soul for dinner. Dover soul. No, no. Lemon soul. Ben went to like Ciderella was on his eye and the shit. We forgot to defrost meat. So like we had to have fish for dinner. And it was pretty good. It was actually, it was very good. - It was really good. But now I just think of soul. - I know. - And where is soul? Everyone else is sort of like making content. - Be popping around. - Getting together, doing brand deals. - She had that sort of like destructive Instagram live. - Yeah. - And that was for me at least the last I ever saw of her. - And I've seen rumors that like she's not going in the ring. And but like she has to. Oh, we forgot that we like have that coming. I forgot that there was like a part of the summer. Now that we're like very much in swirly summer. Almost like kind of latter half. I forgot that there was a part of the summer where we were being held hostage by Love Island. - Yeah. - And nothing hurts anymore. I feel kind of free. Like I forgot. Because I've just been taking advantage of my freedom. - So I watched a little bit more House of Stocks. I didn't get through a lap. But I've started to see like the Taylor's conversation. And you know, her staying back for the birth. And I haven't like watched the completion. So I don't know like the wind up. - Somebody Mario Ash was also watching it. And she comes in and she was like. There's no way Taylor's tracker was like actually going to miss the birth. And like my thing is that she wasn't ever going to. But she definitely wanted to have the conversation about like. If can I? - This is what it seems to be. Teddy is 34 weeks pregnant. - Mm-hmm. She has to go home. - Typically you give birth at 40 weeks. I believe Taylor's tracker always intended to be there at week 40. But if Teddy goes home without her and gives birth early, Taylor would have missed the birth. If there was like an early birth. - Or if there was like an emergency something she could get back in time. - Yes. - But I think that by say like week 38, there's only a couple more weeks of filming. Taylor would have been home and she would have been there for the birth. If the birth goes according to plan. But she's not giving herself any leeway. - But also who's birth goes according to plan? - If Teddy went early or something. So while Taylor's tracker is wrong. - Of course. - Is wrong for like prioritizing work over her. - Family. - Family and the birth of her baby. And just like not getting like the list of. - The seriousness. - How the priorities have to be. So she is wrong for that. However, I can give grace to someone who just like does it before they have a baby. Like doesn't understand the ways in which just having a baby will immediately change you. Like things, everything just shifts. And I feel like in the lead up to the show, I'd be curious like hear from her now. But like in the show, in the lead up to the baby, she talks a lot about like being worried about you know, Teddy bonding with the baby and like her not. And I just, I imagine that all of those things have had what I've just. - They have. - Absolutely. She talked even before Teddy was pregnant. She talked for years about her reservations. Because like the baby planning was like very much tailored on a huge domain. And like she sort of was the one to bring it up and move the topic along. And you know, Taylor had all these reservations like about money and you know, bonding with the baby. Yeah. And like she's like, I'm just scared that like the baby will be born and I'll feel nothing. And like she hasn't felt that way since the second like while the baby was still in the canal. Like it was, it's very much giving like first time parent. - Yes. - So I can like, I can just understand how someone could be coming at it from like, not really getting like how your priorities about to shift whether or not you want them to. - Yeah. - Even though like of course you should be there for your partner or birth of your baby over. And I understand what she's saying because she's making a really good argument for why. - She's like a good argue or two. - No, no, no, but like she's been hustling. She's been in this industry for 20 years. - This is it. - These next, these eight weeks total however long they were filming. Say it was eight weeks like are the biggest moment of her career that she has been working for for 20 years. Like the birth is kind of becoming beyond. - And she like doesn't want to miss out on everything she's working for. And I understand what she's saying. - And while I vehemently in my, in my core disagree with her. Yes, this is me getting like a Taylor Stacker apologies. You do sort of like have to applaud her candor like just being very, like saying things that people probably would never say out loud. - And I just, while I disagree with her. - Of course, of course. - I can have understanding for her having felt that way like before she had a baby. - Yeah, I don't think now. - Because I think people start to say that sort of stuff like after they have a baby. That's when I'm like. - Yikes. - Go home. - Agreed. - But I can understand my before like it just hadn't like. - We could chalk it up to her baby. - She's just like we can have a baby and we can do this. And then I think just like everything changes. - Yeah. - When you have the baby. So that I can give a grace. - Of course. - And you think about me, I'm gonna give grace to Taylor Stacker. - Yeah, but also, but this is why it's not about trusting your faves. It's about like knowing your faves because it's like maybe if I heard someone else say that that I didn't know to be like a wonderful person. - A person. - I'd be like, oh. - Yeah, right. - But because I know it's a wonderful person saying it. - It makes it easier to give them the benefit of the doubt. - Of course. - Of course. - So that's like my perspective. - I'd never tell my queen for a second. - So that's my perspective. - She is still the voice of reason. People were like, how can you say that? Like when it comes to the group drama and even like mediating Stassie and Bo. - Yeah, which is a hard thing to do. - She is middleing very well. And I think like giving voice to what we all think. And the thing was Stassie and Bo. I still haven't seen the culmination. But I'm really of two minds. I'm like on the situation. - On their situation. - And like Bo going back to work. It's on the one hand. It's like, I just like your husband go work. Like she has the nanny. So it's not about the lack of childcare. But she started to make the case better. She says like, Bo is the heart of our home. Like and if he's not home then like this massive thing will be like taken away for our children. Like this feeling of home that like Bo provides. - Yes. And also I a lot of times it's like childcare is about coverage. But like if you're in a position of privilege where you could like choose. It's not ideal to have your kids exclusively be with the nanny. Like if there is a parent available. That's a I think for a mom. Like you're worried about what's going on at home. I would be so much more relieved if my husband is there. - Yes. - So yes, she could outsource some of these things that he does. Like making lunches, making dinner, doing the doctor's appointments. Like she could hire like a house manager, cooks or something. But it's family. - But what she's trying to say is like it's. It's very grounding for the children to have him there and so I understand why she wants him there But I also think like okay your husband's like really all it seems like if he just gets to work He'll be better problems ourselves. Yeah, so just sort of like let him go But I kind of agree with her like on the principle of it. It's ridiculous of course because you're needed at home We're made like five years out there. You know like for a very long time like women We're stuck at home with the blues and nobody gave a fuck. It's so fucking true Really nobody cared. However, but then on my other shoulder men and women are different men and women have a different like thing Like approaches to paranoid and needs and just different Psychies so like I just keep arguing with myself and I don't know what's right But Stasi's not completely wrong to say like Financially it makes no sense for you to go back to work. You're more valuable in the home than you are in the workplace I don't think people are really finding fault with what Stasi feels I think her friends are just it's her it's her messaging. I'm sorry. It's her delivery I'm so I don't like that. I know but it is a little derogatory to be like, I'll pay you or I'll buy you this It's like okay. No, but she finally like makes her case like playing you know about her Up to me disagree with her upbringing and how she wants that like like for her kids to have this stable family life And he is this stability. Yeah Yeah, I don't so and he already like took the interview so he can't like quit now It's like kind of awkward. You couldn't say this two days ago. Yeah, but even her friends are like just let go back to work and like Yeah, maybe in the short run that just like simplifies your problems with him But like I understand where she's coming from and it's like why can't be like an automatic guess. Yeah, and and just and she said She's like it's not like Bo has no time for himself like they haven't any the kids her friends in school So like from when he drops her off to when he picks up like his time is his own if he could find a way to like work in that time Right not from nine to six because like you know the afternoon is important to be with the kids and stuff and he could still make lunches But so she was like he saw movie in the middle of the day last week. It's not like he has no free time Sure, and he stuck at home with the kids all that he's not yeah, so like it's a little unfair and like a little bit like Get over it man agreed, but if it's really like the quick fix and the only thing that's stopping him from happiness It's like we'll go and do yeah, I actually can't adjudicate on the matter because I really see both sides and I think they're both right in a sense so I don't know what's right for them But I think like this narrative that like they're and I haven't seen the big block fight But like that they're on the brink and like I don't think so and that what she's like said or done to me is like so cruel I haven't seen that yet Well, you know you wrap up House of sausage. You can actually told me there's a new show We need to watch that's like new off campus vibes. It's like summer beach read like it's called Sterling point. I don't know if it's it gives a vibe that it's based off of a book But I never heard of a book also yesterday when I was on hulu. I saw like a A banner a banner for another show about like some teens in the water. What was it called? It was like the straps or something? The straps I never heard of it. Was it called we were liars or something? No, I know that Okay, I watched that teens in the water show and honestly I couldn't get through it Also, I do want to dress a little bit of the hate I was receiving yesterday apparently like my hater hat was on it Like a little too strong it. Terrace is a city. Oh, serial killer Oh, I have to say something about Lindsey Clancy. I feel that I spoke on it earlier There is like a narrative going on on social media And I think I maybe got like caught up in it because I was sitting over here being like she was postpartum I take it back she killed her kids I'm not on her side and there is like this cohort of women online who were like theorizing so crazily about this case It's the husband now. He was definitely a bad husband and it's like weird that he got remarried so quickly But like she killed them kids like what are you even talking about like I just feel that The community of people commenting on this case have genuinely lost the plot and I feel like I kind of got swept up in it So I just want to say like I stand with Not her I'm not adjudicating on the matter because I'm not following it closely enough and it seems like a mess. It's so upsetting I see it like a crazy theory this morning that actually No, but let me tell you these theories that you did it. Yeah, that's what everyone thinks that he did it and he dragged her into like Not remembering and just like her and she believes that she was like experience some sort of postpartum psychosis but like it was him And I think the leading piece of evidence about why people think it might be the husband and it's kind of weird Is that and you know what I learned from watching the Idaho documentary of the Idaho murder documentaries And you really can't judge people for their decisions in a time of shock and crisis because those kids Did not call the police. They were like in the house for eight hours After Brian Cobrager left they were like a state of shock the two the the girls who were there during it and survived We're downstairs like hiding hiding hiding in in one of the bedrooms And that was at 4 a.m. And then the police were called at noon So I was like I was like thinking more into it and the police in the documentary where like people just do really like Like not a rational a logical thinking so you could but when he called the police Patrick He said she killed the fucking kids Not she fucking killed the kids she killed the fucking kids. It's not a weird way to say it But again, you really can't get grace for them not You know, I'm giving grace the order of fucking it. Oh, yeah, no, you're right. Even though Robert Pattinson is my king, like, I don't watch his movies, you know. Yeah. Like, it's true. I mean, I do. I watch his early work. But I didn't watch the Batman. I haven't watched the Odyssey. The drama. You know, all this stuff. So I just saw this trailer and it really kept I didn't know this was happening. I didn't know we were making a movie. But I mean, the opening scenes of the trailer are like really crazy because it's like some cookies and like what's clearly a predator. Yeah. And then Robert Pattinson comes out looking like a game show host. So I was like, what am I watching? Yeah. It turns out he's starring as Chris Hansen in like a made for tea. It's like a biopic of how they got that show on the air and like how it was it was before our time. But of course, like, I know it was a show that like would literally trap pedophiles. It would like higher actors to pretend to be minors, talk to them online, meet them at these like abandoned houses. And then when the pedophile got to the house for what he thought was like a rendezvous, there would be a SWAT team. And it did like sort of walk a legal line of entrapment, but like nobody cared because we were just like getting these pedophiles out of the street. I know that the show eventually came to there were like a couple of scandals. I don't know what arc the movie covers, but hey, they did end up catching like a high profile senator. Oh, did they? Yeah. And there was like a live, not live, but like as they were approaching a house, one of the predators killed himself. Yes. Yes. And then that made it like difficult to continue. Following that in an investigation on a lawsuit filed by that predator sister. Right. The show came off the air. So it was on the air from like two thousand border to bring it back. To bring it back. I mean, I get that there, I guess, like some ethical and legal issues. I know. I know. I know. You know what? Like, I'll cover the legal bills because that's a fight worth having. And I don't know if the movie is aiming to like make Chris Hansen into a villain of sorts, because in the in the trailer, he's being like obsessed in a stir. It's like what part is he obsessed with? Is he obsessed with catching predators? Because he was his self has like to see a predator. So he's obsessed with making television being a star. Yeah, obsessed with, you know, having a moment. I'm not really interested in like the Chris Hansen take down story, because whatever he did, like I supported, like he was catching pedophiles, there's not a job more noble. Yeah, it actually like they should do that more often. One thousand per I mean, do you know that viral tick tock tick tock? Oh, no, I'm going to lose my job. It's actually not funny. It's like this like CNN UK special where they catch a predator and they like meet him up in the yard. And he's like, so we are looking. And I would love for them to bring it back because you know, I'd be sat every night. I didn't realize that it wasn't on the air anymore. Like I confused this. It was a segment on date line that like went back in the day like very viral because they said it was just like one of the many segments that occur on date line. And I think that it, I guess we'll find out in the documentary, but I think it became so popular that they turned it into a TV show. And the ratings were like insane. People America was obsessed with this show. Yeah. Bring it back. Like I seriously don't care about the ethical issues. It's a cause. And like, you need it now more than ever.
