Adham - Part II

The speaker, a man who has predominantly dated white American women, now prioritizes dating Arab or Muslim women who can speak Arabic, as language and cultural connection are essential. He values a partner with a similar sense of dark humor and a positive, uplifting personality—someone who is a "fountain" rather than a "drain." His dealbreakers include dishonesty, lack of empathy, and a failure to push each other toward self-improvement. He uses rock climbing as a first date to observe how a woman handles stress, while cooking a meal together (like fattoush) is saved for later dates to demonstrate effort and passion. He contrasts the fast-paced dating scene in New York with the more traditional, committed courtship in Dubai, where men invest heavily in dates to prove sincerity. The speaker also emphasizes lifestyle alignment, such as a love for healthy cooking and shared experiences in the kitchen. He believes that a strong relationship requires both partners to add value to each other's lives, avoiding those who drain energy. Overall, he seeks a deep, growth-oriented partnership rooted in cultural and personal compatibility.

You said you've predominantly dated American women. Yep. White. And but you are looking for. Ideally, yeah. Ideally. So I mean, even the, I've gone out with someone in the past who is Pakistani Muslim. Okay. Which is beautiful that they're Muslim, but I realize at the end of the day, what's important to me is to be able to have fun and Arabic with them. They're hardcore though. They pray. This one's so much more. Okay. Yeah, no, this one. I'm so impressed by Pakistanis. Yeah, they really, they, oh, yeah, they, they follow the religion. They are so hardcore. Yeah, they make, sorry, I, they do, they make it seem like we're all bad, but like the Arabs, like, but they're so good. I respect them so much. Absolutely. The, the language thing. Yeah, it's huge. I couldn't imagine not like being able to like, shoot the shit in Arabic. Absolutely. Yeah. No, I don't really have to. Yeah. That's about the deal breaker. Oh, no. So what are your deal breakers? That was a good segue. And so unplanned. Smooth. What are the deal breakers? Oh, come on. No sense of humor. Okay, no sense of humor. If there's no sense of humor, like we have to have a very similar sense of humor. I have a very weird feeling. Like, meaning she laughs at your jokes or she's like for her. Yeah, she herself is funny. Okay. I would, it's not a much. We'll just be careful. Not, I'm very unique and really funny. We're not going to find a lot of you. You are unique. We'll say that. No. But fun. Yeah. And again, the same sense of like dark humor. Like dark humor. It's essential. Yeah. And again, I think like lifestyle alignment is as well. Again, very important. And yeah, it's just very hard to find that in even in New York City, which is honestly like the reason why I moved here was to find or like find it Arabs. Okay. And I've been able to find groups. So that's great, but not been able to find my exact match. But hard deal breakers. I mean, there's just have to be a good person, right? Not to like pick you. The bar's low, but no. Yeah. True. Yeah. Well, being a good person being picky is a little bit different. Right. But like, you just, a good human being. Yeah. Absolutely. Someone's empathetic. Someone who's going to take care of me when I'm not take care of me. Someone who's going to push me to be a better at him. I think is something that I'm really looking for. That's great. Yeah, absolutely. Not someone who's just satisfied with who I am today. I want it to be a relationship. Yeah, exactly. I want it to be a relationship where we are both pushing each other to progress in ways that we wouldn't have been capable of without one another is something that is really, really important to me. No, that's great. So how long, let's say like you're like dating someone and I'm assuming obviously this hasn't, obviously hasn't worked out in the past because you're still single, but sorry, that sounded really bad. But you know what I mean. I just mean, it's obviously been difficult for you to find that. But obviously it is out there. Sure. It probably is in New York. I don't think you have to go to Dubai, but I get it. Maybe. I mean, who knows? My sisters are going to make fun of me for saying Dubai, not Dubai. The way? The way we're going to trash us when they listen to us. No, but I get it. I know those are good dealbreakers. What are your dealbreakers? Same as you, like don't be a shitty human being. Honest. Honesty, you can usually tell if someone's lying. Yeah. It's about it. Okay. Amongst the other like preferences. Sure. Also say there's an idea that I spoke to my friend about a couple of years ago and it always rings true to my head where people are either fountains or their drains. Oh. And so I want to be. Yeah, I want to be with someone who's a fountain. And obviously you can't always be a fountain. Yeah. But as long as they're a fountain, I'm going to enjoy you at the time. If they're bringing that good energy, I think that also ties into the making each other better. Mm-hmm. Someone who's a fountain is going to be able to provide that environment that allows you to be a better person. Whereas if they're a drain, they're going to be sucking that energy away. That doesn't allow you to be a better person. Right. That's what's amazing. No, that's, I literally in my mind, I just categorize everyone in my life who is a fountain or a drain. No, it's really good. Someone just like that adds value. Being around draining people in a romantic setting or not is. Yeah, it's something that, yeah, exactly. It goes beyond romantic. It goes to friendships. I don't know. I don't know. It worked. There's a lot of drains. I just have to not work with them. I mean, fine. I'm going to get around them. Yeah, I'll get it. Get around the pessimists. So would you say though you surround yourself, like you are the company you keep. So obviously surround yourself with good people. And I totally get to being, you know, you said that a lot of your friends of kind of are in that serious relationship state be similar to, like I would say not most of my friends, but I think most of my American friends are like, you know, like, you know, like, you know, like in serious, it's just the Middle Eastern that we're not even just Middle Eastern, just like Muslim friends, having a little bit of taking some time. It was going to say a little bit of trouble, but I'm being more optimistic. I'm just taking a little bit of time. New York is very difficult, but we'll see. So what is, and like I said, did I own the city? I'm sure it's going to hit. It's going to cross board at some point, but from your, what your sister tells you, what is it like in Dubai? Yeah, that's a really good question. So how do I phrase this? Also from a woman's perspective too, I'm sure it's different. Yeah. So she's been telling me how she has been going out with someone recently, and he's been taking her on like wonderful dates. And I'm like, Nadine, like you better not be kissing him. And she's like, no, I haven't kissed him yet. And she's like, it's very normal for the guy to court the woman for an extended period of time. Whereas here, I feel like it's not very long before things might happen, right? And I feel like, again, it's that waiting game of like, I'm waiting to get this job. I'm waiting because this person is of so much value that I think they do a very good job of that sort of culture. That's great. It's great. Yeah, it's great. No, that's amazing. It's great that she is forcing guys to really show that they're serious about it versus going for a couple of dates and then they should show their true colors. Right. No, that's really great. And you have that time to figure out then, is this guy a good match or is he faking? Right. If he's going to put in this much effort, he's going to be spending, he would, she would take her out on these dates that were like worth, you know, three or four hundred dollars. For real, and this guy's not doing that great, right? And I'm like, wow, that's incredible. Like, I think that's crazy. No, that's incredible. Right. Yeah. Yeah. And there's a couple of girls that I would that did do that in the past before and they were people that were taking very seriously. No, it's great. So I think that could as well be like a good filter. But you, again, you don't want to be that materialistic person to be like, you have to take me out on a date when we're spending, you know, 150 per person, right? Right. Right. But at the same time, we need to figure out a way to show that true commitment, right? And that's one medium that we can show that commitment. And again, it can be perceived as fake, right? I totally get that. But it's just one way of doing that. Agreed. And there's other ways too. Like, what do people don't need? Like a Michelin star dinner? They just want quality time. They just want to have a nice dinner. Long walk, get to know each other. Absolutely. And maybe even me, like, cooking a very serious meal for that person, right? That shows you that. Listen, I put my time and my effort into this to create this beautiful thing from you that took a lot of effort from me, right? So how many dates in would you cook a meal for a woman? If we're making it to date three, probably all of them. Wow. Yeah. Absolutely. Come on. Usually the first date you would cook her a meal? No, no, no. Like, third date, I would cook them a meal. The date one is always raw climbing. Oh, that's right. We talked to you. Always raw climbing. I love that. Because it shows a level of, are you willing to get out of your comfort zone? Right? And I want to see you out of your comfort zone. I want to see how you handle yourself in-- But why were raw climbing other other-- There could be other forms of, like, exercise, but I just want to see the person uncomfortable. Right. Because that's how you see their true colors is when someone in-- No, like, agree. No, like, agree. Right. Versus like we're going to go out to dinner. It's not hard to act. Well, the possibility you're not dinner with. Right. Right. It's not hard to be fake, for sure. Yeah. But if you lose self-control while you're raw climbing, that shows me that you can't take stressful situations. And if we're going to live with the rest of our lives together, there's going to be a lot of stressful situations. And I need to know that you can calm down, take a breath, right, and assess the situation. And then, are you going to just back out? Or are you going to try again and climb that-- climb that's been giving you some trouble? I find that very attractive. So first date's raw climbing. Yep. What's second date? My place on a movie, no, I'm just kidding. Date number two is-- probably got to dinner or lunch. Mm. Oh, day date. Day date. Yeah. Why not? Right. Yeah, absolutely. It's usually like, fifth date territory. Yeah. Like you've passed the first phase. No, no, no. You're no longer on the week of like, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Mm. Actually went to QZ Spa once for the second date. That was kind of crazy. But again, that was someone that was taking various days. Have you-- are you familiar? The one on Governor's Island? Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Funny. Yeah. No, that's like a whole thing. You got to take the ferry. Yeah. - It was like a whole day. - It was a whole day. It was a great time though. It was incredible. - Oh, it was great. - Yeah. Interesting. And then yeah, their date, I'll cut them a meal. What's up? What are you waiting for? - No, no, no, no, I'll tell you later. (laughing) - Was that a first date for you? - No, no, no, no, no. Interesting. Okay, then third date, you're gonna cook them. What are you gonna cook them? - I like to make fatsoody. - Fatsoody. - The musty. - Yeah, I know that fatsoody. - The musty is so hard. - Fatsoody, I can make it look good. - I literally can't believe you just said that. - I make it in like an hour. Fatsoody is gonna take me like two, three hours. - Wow, that's effort. Can you make those a lot more? - No, but I'm sure I could. - Wow, you are a little bit-- - Too confident? - Yeah, I was gonna say some else. - I made sure that that's the first time. - Oh, that's really good. - Yeah, yeah, and it was great. - I tried, did you, I'm just turning into a cooking show. - Yeah. - Did you get the little like-- - I put it in the blender? - I put it in like a big blender. - But I actually did buy the mini blender. - Yeah, it makes it easier. I attempted to make it too, turned Ramadan and failed. - Really? - And then I made so much because it's like, I'm sure you were trying to like get the ingredients right. - They don't give you portions for one person, and so you ended up making so much. And then if it fails, it's like you have all this tub of work, like this shitty soup. - Yeah, no, my mom was like, "Put one cup of this, one cup of that, "I'll sprinkle this, "and like mom, what is this sprinkle?" - No. - Yeah. - But it ended up working out. - So. - Now, so how do you, so do the woman that you envision for yourself, do you want her to be a good cook? - I would like for that. I would like for us to share that experience in the kitchen and to be able to share that passion that I have. - 'Cause recently I, you know, during Ramadan, our moms, I'm sure your mom makes cat, right? - Of course. - Um, dipshin cookies. And I was like showing someone like, "Oh, look, look," and I was like showing the whole production. Obviously, you know, my mom's sister amazing. I didn't have to do much. I'm usually the person that just puts the jelly. - Nice, support. - But I was showing someone that and they kind of made fun. I'm like, "Oh, like that's like a little girl's task." So what do you think about that? - I think that's a trashy, I think it's crap. - You know what's crazy of all the stories that could have said, I literally said the most specific ones in the person probably knows exactly who I'm talking about. But no, I just, I thought that was interesting. It's like, "Why don't you just give me props for participating." - That sounds like a drain. - Mm, interesting. - That absolutely sounds like a drain. - No, no, after this, I'm gonna go and categorize everyone in my life. - Yeah. - Just cut some people out. - Yeah. - So maybe you need to do that. And sometimes you need to promote others and bring them back in. It's gonna be like, wow, you were someone that made me better and I wanna make sure that we maintain this relationship. And as well, making sure that you're also a drain, or sorry, a fountain to them. - Okay. - Right, making sure that you're adding value back into their life. And I think this also goes to, yeah, you should be looking for someone who's a drain, but making sure that as well, that you're a, or sorry, a fountain, making sure that you are as well a fountain to that person as well. Right, and so that's something that I often try to do very early on, even when the first or second date is how can I show them things that will make their lives better. So even the cooking, if they wanna come and help out, I think that's great. And very often they don't know about the dish and I get to show them that, right? And they get to add it to the repertoire and get to show. - No, that's great. - Sure. - That's the Tzuidi. So random. Can you make a mashy? - Girl. - I don't know. - No. - I'm just trying to like, assess your-- - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, assess the skillset. - Yeah, I'm actually so sure I'm trying to-- - No, no, no, but I'm very confident that I could. I have, I feel like I have a very good sense in the kitchen. - You've all been reading some of the traps. Oh, yeah, you could probably do anything. - I'm gonna make it tomorrow. - Yeah, yeah, no, bread is, well, even bread, I feel like it's not that. - I don't know, I find it super intimidating. - Really? - Yeah, well, it depends on what it is. - Yeah, I don't know. I mean, baking, of course, is another beast. - Yeah. - Right, but I feel like cooking, you can taste it throughout the process. Obviously, mashy, you can't taste until it's done, but-- - So what is in your fridge right now? - Ooh, God, this is gonna be, there's so many things. I have-- - Sans alcohol. Just kidding. - No, no, no, there's no, I mean, a little bit, but not too much. - No, he's not, he's kidding, guys. He's getting, he's getting, he's lying. - Trying to make you look good, don't worry about it. - Of course, there's some raw chicken, there's banana, there's beetroot. - Wait, the raw chicken, I'm assuming you're gonna make it soon. - Of course. - Of course, of course, of course. - You said there's beets? - Beets, yeah, like mashed beets. - Yeah, I earn-- - Absolutely. Tumeric root, ginger root, onions, both yellow and purple. I make a veggie smoothie every day. - Oh, wow. - Yeah, so that has like a ton in there. - No, that's amazing. - Maybe like five or six different types of hot sauces, spicy mayo, bunch of pickles. - Oh my God, I don't like this. - Coconut water. - I hear it's so good for you. I thought, did you drink a lot of it? - Coconut water? - I didn't realize it was so high today. - Yeah, it's amazing. - And it tastes so good. - It's incredible. - I just tasted it for the first time a few weeks ago. - Are you serious? - I'm dead serious. - No, it's the best. - My friends let me taste someone who's like, wow, I just think it's because it came out during the almond time, and I didn't like almond. - Okay, got it. No, no, no, I'm absolutely obsessed with coconut water. - That was so good. - Yeah, I mixed it in with all my protein shakes. - And I did it while I didn't have a color to it. - Yeah, it's like a little yellow tinted. - Yellow tinted. - Yeah. - No, it's amazing. - The lush. - What else? - What else? Do you have milk? - Yes, but I don't really drink it. So it's probably time to throw out. I'm just really just trying to confirm, validate this healthy lifestyle, and you won. - Yeah. - So what's in your pantry? - Oh, also freezer, a bunch of frozen spinach and kale, because it's this maybe. Pantry, potatoes, rice, peanut butter. - I love peanut butter. - Peanut price is delicious. - I could eat peanut butter for the rest of my life. - Yeah, a little nookie. Nookie, the Italian. - Nookie? - Yeah. - Oh, sorry. - You know what I was thinking of? Mochi for some reason. - Also love that as well. - Nookie is so good. - Yeah, yeah. - I actually did a nookie class in the outside. I learned how to make it. I'm kind of a chef. - I feel like that's a great place. So that's actually some place I was thinking of meeting people is like doing chef classes. - Oh, you should totally do that. I don't know if my friends, it's such an intimate group. You're like there with like 10 people. It's so much fun. And then you're making this like amazing dish. - You know what you should do? We should do like an Arab night where we make like Arab dishes. - That sounds like so much fun. I can make it was mom when I'm so-- - Yeah. - Sorry, I made it one time. My friends are never gonna stop hearing about it, but it was so good. - It was rent out of kitchen. Do you have BB in the kitchen? - Heavy being the kitchen. - Yeah. - I'll do my kitchen and I get to keep it left overs for the next couple weeks. No, that would be a lot of fun. Actually was thinking of like, I don't wanna tell all my secrets, but like really taking heavy being the city further and doing more like event stuff like wellness focused. - Sure. - Something I think about. Don't steal my idea. - I won't, I won't. I know where you live. - I'm about to help you create these events. - No, for sure. - Even if we think about heavy being the kitchen, I think that you would attract the right type of guys to that setting. I do wanna learn how to cook versus the guys who are gonna be like no women in the kitchen. That's not the end of it. - We could do a heavy being the laundry room too. So they can learn how to do laundry. - How about that? - Yeah, but in short. - No, no, let's do it for doing 50/50. By the way, before this ends, one of us needs to make that handle heavy being the kitchen or someone is gonna take it off. - So many. - No, the second I even thought about heavy being the city. Not that I cared to monetize this in any way. It's purely just fun for me. And I just created it. 'Cause I was like, this is so good. But then I realized after I created it, it had actually already existed before. - Really? - One of these groups in New York had it, but they ended up scrapping it and going with a different name. So it didn't currently exist, but yeah, you know what I mean. So do you find yourself wanting to impress, impress the girls you got with? Not that it's like, you know what I mean. - Of course. - Okay, of course. - Impress them. - Like pretend we're on a date. How would you try and impress me right now? - I can cook any dish. - Outside of the cooking. (laughing) - I think again, it ties to the idea. Okay, so two things. One, I'll impress, I'll try to impress you with how worldly I am and how important my overall commitment to health is. And how serious I am by all my work and all that. Sure, great. He can take me out to a nice restaurant, great. Again, I think it goes back to the other main thing is the idea of being a fountain in showing the other person how much you can help them. So if I can show you in the first date of things that I'm helping you out with within your life, what's gonna happen with the lifetime with me? - Right, how much better am I gonna make you as a person if we spend the rest of our lives together? I think that's really the key thing that I'm looking to do to impress the person, right? 'Cause I feel like anyone can again, go to a nice restaurant, say have a good job, do do do do do do to impress the person, right? 'Cause I feel like anyone can again, go to a nice restaurant, say, have a good job, do do do do do do do to impress the person, right? - Yeah. - Because I feel like anyone can, again, go to a nice restaurant, say, have a good job, do do do do do do to impress the person, right? - Yeah. - Because I feel like anyone can, again, go to a nice restaurant, like one thing I find impressive is the way people talk about their family. - Okay. Nice, I went on that mark. - Yeah, so when you said your mom and your sister were your besties, I was like, this guy reading my mind, but no, I think it's a very, obviously you want them to be close, just like in our culture too, it's like me. - Yeah. - You know, that's fascinating though. Are you going out like, are there guys that are not close to their family? Like what is the-- - It's not about being close, it's kind of like, how they speak about them and if it naturally comes up, and think our families are super important to us. - Yeah. - So I think it's really attractive when someone kind of has a good head on their shoulders, talks about their family and kind of obviously not too much, but just someone that like speaks well of their mom. Also, it's interesting talking to men that have sisters. I feel like you guys is approached to dating is much different than maybe men that don't have sisters. - Tell me more, yeah. - Not in like a bad way. I think you best could just understand and you're the more empathetic to the emotional aspect, which is super important. I don't think people realize. But yeah, I think you could tell right away. That's usually one of the first questions I ask is to get sisters. - Is it the answer? Yeah, 'cause I'm always putting my sister in the other person's shoes. Right, and thinking about would my sister like this or dislike this? - And it's not to say every guy that has a sister is like the amazing. - It's gonna be that way of course, but it's a good variable to determine. - Agreed, agreed. - It's usually get indicator of things to come. - Sure. - Are you the older boy? So you have a younger sister. Are you definitely give older sibling energy? - Really? - Yeah. What kind of energy do you think I'd break? - Type A for sure. - No, I mean like from a sibling. - Yeah. - Where do you think I land? - In the okay, how many siblings do you have again? - Three. - They were at the show. Tell me their names. - Really? No, I don't even know that. - Oh yeah, they were like helped me put it on. - Okay. - All in the family. - I was in middle. - Yeah. Yeah, I'm definitely middle child. I'm constantly craving attention, which is crazy like me and my other middle sister, middle child sister. It's not like it was a great childhood, but like no, we definitely give seeking attention. - Mm-hmm. - Maybe that's, I think I just figured it out. - That was a furious, but maybe, yeah. It felt right. It felt right in my mind. - You know what I mean though, like if you're someone that's like. - Yeah, a male child. - Yeah, it's really sad actually. - It's sad. It's beautiful. - No, not in that way, but it is interesting. - Yeah, to observe. - I find that more reliable than the astrology stuff. - So that's a red flag. Oh stop, are you really? - No, I just mean like I'm a living breathing Leo and I think anyone, oh you don't, you're not into it? - No. - When is your birthday? - November, Scorpio. - Oh, we've talked about this. - Yeah, does it make any sense? - No, you're definitely giving Scorpio. - Oh my God. - No, no, some of it doesn't make sense because not everyone is the same. But most people are. - I feel like Scorpios are terrible. - No, I, I, - Do I seem like a terrible person? - No, you don't. That's what I'm saying. - Well, not yet. I mean, this is the second time I've seen you. - True. - Relax. - No, I'm just kidding. You wouldn't be here if I thought you were a terrible person. - Thank you. - No, it is kind of, it's also how to actually not supposed to - Yeah, exactly. - Oh, okay, so I'm a bad. - You're going to hell, that's for sure. - Okay, if I'm going to hell. - I'm going below. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, I'll be there with you. - No, no. No, so you're not into it at all. So if a girl asks you that. - That's a red flag. - You should have said that. - The dates, that's a huge red flag. - I wanted you to say. - You wanted me to say that? Okay, I'm saying it now. - No, I wanted to say that was when I read flags. But like, you give a little bit of grace. Like it is a thing. It's like one of those, I would say it's, if you're thinking of like top 10 questions, whatever to ask, 'cause keep it light and fun and flirty. You definitely ask what they're signs. - They're some flirty. - What's your sign? - It's not like, - Like, not Valley girl. - What's your, but Yani, what I mean is like, kind of get to know them a little bit more. So if I say, - But it doesn't tell you anything about that. - If you were in Aries, essentially would stay away. - Scorpio, you're cool with. - No, I have no, I don't know. - Okay. - You just go based on history, but Aries, I would be like, oh, bye. - Okay. - I spent from Alexandria, you know? - Wow. - You're not from Alexandria. - Yeah, I am. - Are you serious? - Yeah. - Okay, well, I did that. Wait, are you kidding me at them? - No, I swear to God. - But have we talked about this? - I don't think so, no. - Do you know my theory, right? - No, go ahead, please. - No, this is actually so funny. - What? - No, no, no, no, I don't wanna talk about it all. - I do. - Because it's, no, my sisters are afraid. - It's a tough shit. - It's a tough shit. - The rhythm kind of like, just get attacked. Like, by all these men. - They're gonna come to prove you wrong. - No, no, I just have had very bad experiences. - Without Xandere and Men. - It's, yeah. - I mean, obviously I'm not like Egyptian Egyptian. Like, obviously I'm super American. So like, you can't trace that level of like, I'm so distant from that. - True, true. - I'm going back there every summer. - Yeah, and when I go back as well, I'm typically going back to Cairo. - Right. - So that's where like, the family lives now. - Yeah, I don't think it's in the blood. I think it's in the water. - No, but I'm telling you. No, no, no, ask anyone. Ask any of my friends. I'm Owen V. - Really on Alexanderans, wow. - Oh, it's just, it's a terrible experience. - Okay. - But I need to find a way to qualify this. So I'm actually not attacked. - Were they born in Alexandria or were they born? Okay. - I really do need to find a way to qualify. Maybe at some point you and I can think of something. - Yeah. - So we can add it because I don't want them. - I hear you. - I'm so scared of what's gonna happen. - Oh, whatever. - I mean, here's the thing. - They're not gonna be watching this anyways. - Exactly. When I say like marrying someone from back there as well, I, when I lived in Egypt for those, for that three month period, I met a lot of people who were in a similar situation that were trying to figure out who they were. - Right. - And try to get in touch with those roots. So I think that I don't, I would want to be with one of those people, right? Someone that understands both sides of the coin. In the sense that they understand the Western world and the Eastern world. - No, agree. - Right. Definitely would not want to marry someone that's all that they've ever known. - Oh, for sure. It has to be a mix. That's why it's kind of risky. If you get into situation with someone who's, - Fully from there. - Fully from there. But also someone who's super Americanized and you were just like, is there anything? - Left, yeah. - Is there anything left? And that's also a reflection of how your kids are gonna be brought up. - Absolutely. - To a certain extent. - Sure. A lot of things can change. A lot of. - You could always go back there with that person before you have a child and try to. - Exactly. - Bring that culture back out. - All right. - Maybe tell me, as you close this out, what is something that is misunderstood about men? - The so tough. - Oh, thank God. - Can you give me maybe an example for women? How do you feel like women are misunderstood and maybe that'll conjure something up in my head? - How do I feel women are misunderstood? - And dating, yeah. - I think we shouldn't, I think bypassing, I think, the early vetting of the red flags and not giving people a chance, I think is, I think is definitely, I've experienced it. So my friends have, I think we need to give people some grace. And not be so judgmental, but that's just me. I find it, Arab men can be very judgmental. - Interesting. So we just think, yeah. - Give people a chance. - It sucks so much. - It's nuts. - I feel like you guys have so much tougher. - Oh, 1,000%. - Yeah, you guys have something. - It must be nice. I would love to be a man. - It's fun. - It's a great time. - I should just get in line. - Yeah, I don't, I honestly think we have it pretty easy. I think, like I don't see it as being like very, super tough. I would say that I think in today's society, guys are very scared to approach women. And so therefore you need to have a good friend group that will show you these people, right? - Man, I feel like I could have done an entire episode with you on how women should approach men and vice versa. - Yeah, I would love to hear. I would love to hear as well, yeah. - Because that's such a big thing. Especially if you're just like disregarding the apps and you're trying to do it in the wilds. - And think about all the settings. All the settings that you have that experience, right? And can they come over and do it in a swav manner and a respectful manner? - Right, right. And then there's some versus, you know, 'cause some guys will come in and like make fun of you because they don't know how to flirt, right? And then they're very-- - That's good to know. - Yeah, I mean-- - That has happened, yeah. - Yeah, I'm sure it's happened, right? And then there are some that come onto aggressive. And you're just like, this is too much, there must be something wrong with him because he's come out so aggressive or he's doing it to every other girl. - So interesting. - Right, so again, like there's a little game that's being played there in that interaction and it's hard to perfect. But yeah, I. It's tough. - No, it's a great, it's just very tough. Well, honestly, this has been so great, so happy you were able to-- - Thank you. - Or just pay in the heavy in the city. - So fun. - It's so great to get to know you. So just real quick, what is your World Cup prediction just for the-- to close this out? - I don't really watch sports. - Are you kidding? Okay, we'll just say Egypt so that I could feel it. - Egypt. - Okay, Egypt. - Egypt, for sure. Who do you think's gonna win? - Egypt. - Oh, so surprised. - That's right. - Okay. All right. - Thank you. - All right, thank you. - The slow module, thank you for having me. - You're welcome. - Thanks.
