Subscribe to your girls channel from YouTube, watching the video podcast, on my other social platforms, following me, supporting me, retweeting, reposting, all at a, thank you. You guys, I want to go ahead and move into this topic because I don't know if there's going to be a long topic or it might be a short topic, but it's going to be a topic. I have my cards. If you're watching me from YouTube, y'all already see these cards. I know how it gets down in the field. You guys, today's episode, we're going to jump right into adding value. Adding value can be in many different forms. It can be in real relationships, your work, and your personal development. So you can add value to anything in your life. You can just add more value to your life is just a thing. And part of that being a thing, I want to get into these things. All right, why is adding value so important? This is a long answer in itself. So one of the things that I want to talk about is personal fulfillment. When you add value to your life, it will help boost your self-esteem, okay? When you feel valuable within yourself, it'll boost your self-esteem, your happiness overall. Another important reason is stronger relationships. Like when it comes to relationships, you're able to add value to those as well. When people feel like they value this friendship or you value them or their friendship or their love or their support by reciprocating their energy, it would enhance the quality of your connections, your relationships. So that's another reason. You want to be able to be around people that add value to your life, and you're also adding value to theirs. Another reason is career success. So this is one that I love to talk about because you're going to love talk about it. A reason why adding value to your career is so important is because it will bring you promotions, raises, and overall job fulfillment. It will just make you be more of a team member and employee. It will just give you like a make you feel like a valuable team member or a valuable employee or whatever it is. Now all of us do not work for people. So imagine being your own boss. You hire other people because you see the value in what it can bring to your brain. You're not going to constantly keep someone there that's not adding to your brain. Someone's just helping you lose money not helping you make money. So you're going to get rid of that person. They're going to be fired, gone, got out of there. And you want to have people on your team that are adding value to your brand or your business or your dish to overall your life, development, your brand, develop me, whatever it is. For example, you work for someone and they hire you. They hire a whole bunch of other people and everybody don't last. Everybody don't last. Some people got to go. They doing layoffs. They're not going to lay off the person that's running in the numbers that they see that is valuable to the company. They're not going to lay off the person that's always on time or always adding value to or taking their job serious and taking with their company value serious. They're not going to get rid of no one who's adding value to their brand versus a person that's not really making the numbers, they're not bringing them no money and they're not making any sales. If you are like one of these people, you're kind of just there. You're not really adding any value to it versus if you are a person that's making the numbers, you make it known that you're in the room every time because you add value to whatever the discussion is, whatever the topic is, whatever the issue is, you're trying to solve it, you're trying to make them numbers hit every time. So if you're one of those people that know in a seat of value EU, they're not going to just be willing to just open this get rid of you, that's quick. It got to be really something for them to want to really get rid of you because it's kind of hard to get rid of somebody who's bringing in the numbers, like who's bringing in the numbers who's adding value to the brand, the business, the company, whatever it is, they add value to just your overall thing that you stand for when it comes to your job, your business. So it's kind of hard for them to get rid of you and if they do choose to get rid of you, they're not going to be able to find that in nobody else and they know the value of keeping you within their brand and their business. It's kind of like the same thing when it comes to relationships. That's another thing that we're going to talk about on another episode is knowing your worth because a lot of us don't be knowing our worth right away or it takes us to know and learn and go through certain experiences to see our worth and know what we're worth and yeah we're going to get into that on another one but I want to stick on the subject. So adding value, like when it comes to relationships, it's kind of hard to get rid of a person. Now they got to be real out of their dang mind, they got to do some real crazy stuff for you to just want to get rid of them, like being so serious. They got to just being in burnt bridge, after bridge, after bridge, for you to just want to get rid of them. You're not going to just get rid of somebody who's really adding value to you, your life. They're showing up for you, they loving you and they care about you, they're not going to just get rid of somebody that easy, it's kind of hard to get rid of somebody that's adding value to your life. So yeah, that's one thing and it goes hand in hand like with the career and the relationship. So another thing, professional growth. When you add value to things, when people see the value and the things that you're doing, like prime example, if you are a content creator influencer, you do any of these things, any of the sort on the business, selling a product, whatever. I know I like to get down on vets. If you do any of these things and people see the value and you, they're going to be constantly like, oh my gosh, I'm so proud of you, oh my gosh, you're doing your thing, they're going to constantly give you recognition, they're going to constantly show up for you when it's time to do something because they see the value and you, they see the value that you bring, they know the value and they know the quality, baby. They know the value and they know the quality and they know what you bring to the table. They know how you come in, period. They know how you come in. When they come to that, they know how you come in. It can help you with more networking opportunities, career, advancement. It can help with so much by adding value. Adding value can add to your happiness. Another example, it's kind of like when you are like the life of the party, you the person, the everybody waiting on to be there or everybody looking for it to see and they've been or whatever it could be, like you could be that person and that's because these people see your value or whoever or this thing, like they see your value because you're adding value so they see the value and they see that you adding to. Adding value is just simply adding to like, what are you adding? What can you add and we finish getting to that because what are you adding to any of these things that I listed so far? Are you adding anything to these? Could you easily be replaced in a relationship and a friendship? Can they go find this as somebody else? And I know everybody is not like everybody but when you know that you've got a good set, when it comes to friends and you have a good set of friends and all your friends represent the same thing. They all give you the same thing they all add into your life in some way. All friends are different and they're not going to like come to you in the same thing. They're not going to be the same type of friend. You have different friends for different things and a lot of times in relationships, you might not be adding the value that you think you're adding which is why you are replaced or which is why they're going to go search for something else. And it has a lot to do with them. It has a lot to do with them because you know the whole thing with relationships, yeah. But if they want to go look for something else but they want to break up and they want to go look for something else then you just wasn't for them and they didn't see the value in having you around or keeping you around. And that's just what it is. Also with careers, like I talked about, are you easily replacing your career? Are you easily, could they easily get rid of you and hire another person with more credentials and the person is going to come in full force and get it done and they know that they can always count on this person to get it done and get it done and they weigh and get it done effectively to the business and helping the business. Are you that person or could they just go and get somebody else to be that person? So adaptation, so we live in a world where the world is always changing is always evolving. We always coming out with different things and we having to adjust. Are you a person that can adapt to these changes and in value in this category means that you are able to adapt to the changes. You can learn a new skill and move around that and add it to what you already know and you're able to adapt to the changes of the world that we go through on a day-to-day basis. And it's very important to know how to do these things, especially in a world that's changing because because it helps you to grow professionally and not only professionally personally because personal things happen and it's not always just about being professional or business. You have personal life too and you gotta know how to adapt to changes on your personal side and on the business or career aspect. So yeah, this is a few and we're gonna dive deeper into these subjects right now. And so, example, I feel like when I do be friends with people, I feel like I do add value to my friendships. I don't call everybody my friend and it's like if I'm constantly being around you or whatever like that, I'm adding some type of value to you or if I'm constantly, this is in the rule number one. If I'm having you around me, my family, and people that's really close to me already and I bring you around in things I know for sure that you're adding value to my life. If I feel like you're adding a good thing to my life because I'm not a person that's really open to a lot of people. So if I bring you around and I have you around me and I'm showing you this and that, telling you this and that, you know, I feel like you are that person to be around me then this is what it is because I'm not a person that brings a lot of people around me. And I'm just not really an open person when it comes to being open to everybody. For me, the number one for me to even bring you around me, you're adding some type of value and some type of way to my life that I feel like at the moment. Now, once you start doing a bit much, doing a little too much, then that's when we got to get things separated. You know what I'm saying? We already talked about that in another episode. Like, once I feel like it's not adding no value to my life, it's not keeping you around is declining my value, declining, this relationship is declining. This relationship, this environment, whatever is not adding value to my life is not even valuable here anymore. Then it's time to go. It's just time to go. It's time to go. Yeah. So when it comes to relationships in general, don't have to be friends. You got to be a person that's willing to listen and give advice and add value today. You don't want to be a friend or a family member around this person all the time and you're just sitting there not adding no type of value to their life. Not adding any type of value to this person's life, not trying to help this person grow or development anyway because I feel like anybody that you're constantly around, if you're growing, they should be growing with you. Like, you don't have to be doing the same thing to grow or anything like that. It's just, if you're growing, they should be growing as well because y'all should be helping each other and y'all should be uplifting each other because that's the type of relationship you should have. You don't want to be having people that's not helping or not adding any value in no type of way and it doesn't have to be money wise, growing money wise, it can be growing spiritually. It could be whatever type of relationship y'all have, whatever type of relationship y'all have, y'all should be growing in that way. So if y'all have a relationship where y'all are spiritually connected and y'all talk about these things, then y'all should be growing together spiritually, growing together mentally, growing together physically if y'all are working out and everything like it's so much stuff that you can add value when it comes to your life and when it comes to these relationships with people that is feel like if you're going to be having people around you, they need to be adding some type of something to your life. They need to be adding some type of value, playing some type of role that's fulfilling to your life, it helping you add more value to your life. They need to be playing some type of role with it and index you need them, need them, need them. It's just the fact that if they're going to be around you, it needs to be clear that I'm important to you. You're going to be important to me, period, it needs to be a set thing. We're going to each other. You're going to me. I'm important to you. So when it comes to adding value in your relationship, you have to be a listener like you have to be someone that's not, it's ripping all the time or formulating the response in your mind. Like, you have to be someone that's sitting there to listen and yeah, not just always trying to hear them just to hear you up and respond. And that's something that I'm working on and that's something that I'm personally working on as well because I'm like, I'm so used to this giving advice all the time. So it's like, well, you are already telling me something. I probably already didn't hear it, so I'm already trying to give you any advice. I'm already trying to solve the problem. I'm just like, this so used to being a person that give advice and being a problem solver, so I'm just quick with the response. So there's been learning more to like listen more and just be able to just, you know, listen it, hear it out and yeah, because I want somebody to listen to me and hear me out. So, and that's another thing, what you give to somebody else, you will want back. So if you want somebody to interrupt you all the time, they keep interrupting them. They're going to give you right that back, right? If you're going to get to somebody that's going to be interrupting you all the time. When it comes to adding value to your relationships, you want to be understanding as well, you want to show some empathy, you don't always want to be like, whatever, like you want to show some type of empathy to the person or whoever it is, if they've been to you, if they're talking to you, if they need you, whatever it is, you want to show some type of understanding to them. You want to be able to see things from their perspective, whether you went through it or not. You want to be able to see things through other people's perspective as well and not just your own. You want to be able to understand their emotions and validate their feelings. You don't want them to feel like they that you don't care because we have a lot of people baby that don't care, okay? And they will definitely show you that, they'll give you that, they'll show you that and that that's be what it is and you don't always have to necessarily agree with them. It's just more so just hearing them out, letting them be understanding them, that's adding value to that relationship because they have someone that they feel they can come and talk to that they can possibly confide in trust and everything like that with certain things. So yeah, you want to be able to add that kind of stuff to relationships, friendships. You want to be able to add supports. You want to be able to add support and encouragements, send them some encouraged positivity to them. And when y'all watching this podcast, baby, that's exactly what you're girls trying to do. I'm trying to encourage the girls, encourage the guys who have us watching, encouraging the listener and the viewer. That's what I'm doing here, baby. Yeah, I heard an intro, yeah, no, we overdoing it. All right, because what I'm putting out I want back and I want somebody to be doing the exact same thing. I listen to people that encourage me. I like to talk to people that encourage me. I like to give support. I like to show support. I like to be understanding and be understood. I also like to be a listener. I like to listen. I also like to let you know what you need to know. I'm not one of them people, friends in the relationship, whoever you come across. I'm not one of them people that is going to tell you what you need to hear or let's say this. I'm not one of them people, friends, whatever that you come across that's going to tell you what you want to hear. If you want to hear what you want to hear, then you can go look that up on YouTube or you can go find you somebody that's going to be fake with you. But me, I'm a person that's going to be 100 with you and that's keep it true and keep it true. Okay. I'm not one of them people, but also I'm aware of my deliverance. So I'm aware of who I'm talking to at the moment and how I need that message to be perceived to that individual. So I'm very precise when it comes to that and you know, hey, you only necessarily have to agree with the things that I say, but I make sure I know the person that I'm talking to. I catch the vibe, I read the energy and I see who I'm talking to when we're talking and if I feel like you're going to perceive it, I'm going to always tell you what it is, but if I feel like you're going to perceive it in a good way or the way it comes out, the way it comes out, because I'm always thinking before I say things. So if I feel like you're going to perceive it, the way that I'm brought to bring it out to you, then I'm going to say it has to be perceived. But if I feel like you're like a person that's, you know, not going to take your will, that's going to act crazy, going to go off the rock or whatever the case may be, I'm going to kind of filter it a little bit, but the message is still going to be the same. Now, you know, but this, this, this what it is, baby, that's what it is when it comes to like relationships, friendships, people, ships, if that's a word and all of that. Also quality time, y'all have to spend quality time in relationships, friendships, y'all got to be out getting out and doing some things, okay? If you've got a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, if you've got a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, friends that you this hang out with, you single, whatever, you're not single, you want to just go out with some friends and I be, you know, give your man some space, give your woman some space and you want to hang out with your girls today, your guys today, whatever the case may be. You have to spend quality time, get out there and do some things together, relationship building, because that's going to help build the relationship up, okay? That's going to help people see the value in having you around them, keeping you around them, because not everybody you encounter with sees your value, know your word. everybody is going to see your worth. Understand? that and understand that clearly like you gotta know your worth rightly in there because a lot of people will not know your worth and they yeah and then you have something that will know your worth some will know your worth more than you know your worth like you not thinking you know what I'm saying because like like I said you let the folks tell you let the people tell you let them folks tell you ain't got to tell yourself you know you stay humble you remain humble so when it comes to stuff that you might do that you might say people see the value in the people see the value in you more than sometimes you see it in yourself and I feel like you need some people like that around you but then you don't want them to be like users so you don't want nobody that's around you that's usually because they see your value or where you hit it or where you're going yeah that ain't even that but yeah you gotta know your worth you gotta know your value you gotta know what you bring to the table baby because sometimes you bringing in you that table and then they gave the ones bringing it in none of that and you pouring all this into them and your stuff drow over here your cup empty so you gotta know your worth you gotta know your value you gotta know what you bring to the table and you gotta stand in that and you gotta stand on that another thing when it comes to relationships and adding value you want to be able to respect them boundaries baby respect their personal boundaries okay because everybody go on for the stuff that you go on for but that's because you doing it don't mean anything to do that that's because you got that going on don't mean everybody else like yeah everybody ain't perceiving everything that you perceiving in a way that you're perceiving it so you gotta be able to respect people boundaries their physical space their emotional space their personal time their personal space everything you gotta be able to respect boundaries and that's another thing people don't like to respect boundaries we gotta come down the way new episode on the way we already got a little bit on communication when it comes to adding value to relationships you want to be able to communicate effectively you want to be able to communicate effectively not a lot of people believe it or not not a lot of people know how to communicate communicate effectively okay because there's literally the key communication say relations y'all know what kids you see like y'all know kids little more say it like communication say relations any does okay a lot of stuff can be saved or avoided by communicating be open be transparent be honest in your conversations address concerns problems conflicts in a constructive manner because some people get crazy when you are addressing an issue about some that might abide to something like it's not what you're seeing is how you're seeing it and you gotta understand the deliveries on the message and I already talked to y'all a little bit about that also apologize when necessary that's another thing we don't like to apologize we don't like to apologize I'm one of them you know you might have heard somebody or someone's telling you that you hurt them when you say this a deed that apologize but also an apology is changed behavior so if they hurt that person you care about that person you want that person to be in your life that person adds value to your life you know your life would be totally different if that person was no longer in any wood ever the case may be apologize for the things that you did apologize for the things you see you know understand like it that shows maturity and a commitment like that you want this commitment you want this relationship the work you value this relationship yeah and that you this overall care about this person's will be in because of believe it or not when you do things to people it makes them feel away it can torment their mental their heart like you can break a person heart from doing certain stuff saying certain stuff they mind a heart all of that it can affect a lot of things in their life their will be and so that's apologize for things that you did you're showing them that you value this relationship you want this relationship and that you care overall about their will being when it comes to relationships and adding value you do want to show gratitude you want to let them know that you appreciate them that you thank them that you that you love having them there or like having them in your space in your life they helped you in so many ways yada yada like it goes on and on and on you want to let them know these things because it's so important to you and also it's important for them to know as well because if you're not letting them know nothing and actions not really showing it either they're not going to know if you really care about them or value their relationship like some people they like reassurance and i feel like in a relationship or friendship whatever it is you do want to show gratitude and it's just like a little bit of reassuring them that they matter to you by your actions the things you tell them the things you say how you talk to them so always that's another way that you can add value relationships offer help if you see them struggling with something need help with something or you have something that you can do or say or whatever motivate them to do this or do that whatever the case might be that you can add to them or to help them when they are going through help them period you see them doing something that you know a lot about help them that show friend you care about this friendship help them also i know when it comes to like friendships or relationships some people want different type of friends like you might want friends they do the same thing as you or you might not want friends they do the same thing as you like y'all you want to you and your friends they do different things like whatever whatever the case might be but y'all want to find something that y'all can enjoy together in their shared common interests that y'all might be interested as a whole that y'all might enjoy together to do and it's so much stuff that y'all can actually get into is just whatever y'all want to get into so find some things that y'all would like to do together and get them things done and they spend quality time with each other and just create memories and strengthen your bond um this is another thing respect their choices respect their choices everybody has their own path we are going on our own route we all have our own time expiration date whatever you want to call it respect their choices you can give them advice if they come to you for advice but if they don't you know then they go and do what they want to go do because it's their life respect their choices they are not obligated to do everything that you want them to do okay respect their choices even if they're different from yours respect it respect their choices with respect on their choices when i'm gonna say this depending on what it might be that they're making a decision or a choice about i feel like you should at the end of the day if they matter to you you still need to offer support rather you wanted them to make their decision or not it depends on the circumstances though because okay it's stuff that i'm very anti this week and anti that week this is an example i can encourage someone to do some things that i feel like is in my life that i add value to that add value to me we're pouring into we're pouring into each of this cup all of that kind of stuff so i can have my own opinion in my own beliefs in sook and day but at the end of the day i feel like we should have a common ground to where our paths align however when it comes to respect your choices and understanding that we might not make all the same type of choices something that i'm anti this about that i don't believe in or i would never do you might want to do that's your decision that's your life and me depending on what it is i will offer my support in the reason why i say the hidden on what it is because when it comes to things that are like spiritual and i feel like it's not it's it goes against my spiritual beliefs i just don't entertain it and it's like if i'm supporting it and it's like totally going against what guy wants me to do then yeah it's not it's out you won't get my support this is by the line you won't begin my support when it comes to something that's spiritual to me and you're trying to do it and it's not a lot you just want to begin my support that however i will still love you still like you still be cool with you you depending on what it is so yeah and it's just like that and it's this boundaries like boundaries with certain stuff so and that's why you have different people around different relationships that you build yeah the people know who to come with when to come to certain stuff because yeah like i told you i'm not that friend i'm not that person that's this gonna tell you what you want to hear okay go jump out the clip everybody say it was cool girl yeah yeah yeah no it ain't happening i would support the people in my life that add value to my life that i have around me a thousand per se but when it comes to certain things that i do not believe in spiritually i'm not going for it so yeah that's that on that but you know the viewer that's viewing this listen to this you do as you will but there's this me also okay you want to forgive and you want to let go you don't want to be holding on to grudges it resent me it's just holding on to all this and then that's another thing you hold on to all of this but yet you got the person still around you so you feeling two ways you got the right now when it comes to family you can't you really you could cut family off hang on hold you you could cut family off but we we got to still love our family we got to I still love our family. What I've said, cut the people right off, but still love them is that you can still love them, but you don't have to deal with them. You don't have to deal with you can still pray for them. Hopefully they get it together. Hopefully they get it right. That's the whole no grudges. Forgive them, let it go. When it comes to this, I would never understand to keep a person around me that I still have a grudge that I'm not over about something that they might have did to see it to me, and I still have them around. And I'm still playing give back about something that might have happened 50 years ago. It all makes sense to me. Adress your issues, forgive them, let it go. Say I continue to move on and gain your relationship, and I had started somewhere. I had, I don't know if I read this or heard this or what, but it made it total sense to me. Every relationship does not mean to end. Some relationships end, and then when they come back together, it's a very strong relationship, because I laid all of that on the table, or you laid all your boundaries out on the table. And I feel like that's something, when it comes to relationships that some you have to do, especially if you didn't stop messing with this person for a while, and y'all this little bit was going to be doing that, come back. I feel like y'all should have a talk, like let it out, whatever the issue might have been, if the person don't know the issue or how you might have felt about something like this, let it be what is going to be let it out, and if y'all can work out differences and become a better person and gain your relationship back, then do that. But if it's going to be you that sitting in there knowing that I might have made you mad, and now you trying to get back on some stuff, that's the whole nuts of Shabbain, baby. And that kind of stuff, we don't play them games over here. Your butt will get cut off. You will be cut to the max, the biggest sizzles. The chop block. Literally the chop block. Also, another way that you can value your relationships is celebrating milestone. Celebrating things in their life, like their birthday, their achievements, their success. You don't always have to be a vouchee, baby. You can do things the same way you would want other people to do for you, you can do for them. Celebrate their wins, too. Little wins, big wins, medium wins, always. You showing them that they care. You showing them that what they did is a big thing. Really, if it was just too small, you showing them that still made you. Yeah, we wanna see that kind of stuff more. That kind of stuff is very much valued in a relationship. A person always showing up for you, clapping for your wins, in the background, on the front line, on the side line, they clapping. They happy like they do ones that didn't have something happy. They just as happy for you as they would be for themselves. You have to show that you're invested in their happiness and your success as well. And that kind of stuff don't really be shown up a lot. Like I see some people do it, it'd be just for whatever you need just for. But you have some people that have real relationships where they friend celebrate all their wins. I have a few people in my life that celebrate all my wins as well. Like you don't be that major to me. I don't really post about it or I don't really talk about it. But they address it to me and congratulate me on it. So yeah, it just shows me that they tapped in. They care, and they really, they really care for your girl. They value what I'm doing. They respect it. And it shouldn't just be one side. It should be reciprocated. So, and then on top of that, make sure it's reciprocated because it's going to come a time where you have an a birthday. And this person that did all this for your birthday, you didn't do it all this for this person birthday. Or this person that did all this for your birthday. Now it's your birthday. And you respect and it's saying thing back. But then it's also, you can't expect what you put out to other people. But then don't get nobody to be around. You didn't going to give you what you want back. Because they ain't giving you that because they don't see the value in it. And I don't want nobody around me who don't see me turning the whole another year value. I don't want nobody around. I don't want nobody around who ain't taking me turning older. It's not a value or who don't see my ways is valuable. So, or what I'm doing is valuable. You don't even need to be around me, baby. So, yeah. This is it on that. You want to be reliable. You want to be somebody that they can count on, somebody that can. Hey, can you come help me do this? Can you come do this a little lie? Even if it's not even that, like, you need to come and do something for them. Even if it's just a phone call. I mean, they're still doing something. But you know, you're just picking up the phone for them, hearing them out, letting them vent. You're reliable for them to do that. But also, know your limits with it. But then, if you're friends or your people you have around you, respect your boundaries, then they'll know it's a limit. Like, they'll know, hey, I need my personal space. I don't want to overwhelm her with all my things that I have going on. So, it'll be understood. So, you want to be feeling like you're this overgiving or, yeah. You know, you need to be a limit on things. That's when it comes to like a boundary. Like, it's a wild look. It's a limit on. You let. I'm gonna let you live. But you ain't gonna do too much dump all the energy out of her or you ain't gonna be doing this and doing that. You know, it's a limit to it. So, if they respect your boundaries and they really aren't your value, they don't respect your boundaries. And they can come and vent to you and you can be reliable for them to come vent to you and then they'll come ask you to do this and that for them. But, at the same time, they gotta know that everything is limited. Like, I'm still myself. You're still you. We gotta figure it out on our own. But at the same time, you can't ask for help. You can't ask for help and I will be reliable or you will be reliable. However you go, I'll see. It may fit. However, I see this storyline that I'm talking about, these examples, my feet apply. You want to be a positive influence as well. You want to be someone that's always speaking the good and everything for them, telling them the good, showing them the good. You all can come and vent. You all can come and talk about what you all need to talk about, but at the same time, or you all can come and do what you all need to do, but at the same time, you all are speaking and pouring the positive into each other. Yeah. If you are a person that's negative, negative, negative pouring all this negative, drrrr, in a nothing coming positive out of the whole situation, and, yeah, you get now what you need to say, but then you ain't got no positive solution today. Or it's no positive incursion, worse, or doings behind it. Yeah. You're not being a positive influence, and then it shows them that you really don't value that relationship, or you don't value the way they want to be perceived. That's whatever. Prime example, I don't like people coming to tell me the tea. Like, I let you come and vent. You let me know what it is, but I don't want that to always be the conversation. Like, baby, don't see me as the tea maker. Don't see me as the ball and pot, okay, because it's ain't what that is. Like, I let you vent. We come talking about, but at the end of the day, let's give back to a positive note. And then it's just like, when you come today, it just make me not even want to talk to people or be around people, because, yeah, if I were going to talk about this, yo, drama, or you that's going to give me on a negative streak of talking about some bull crap or doing some bull crap, or we're doing some bull crap or talking about some bull crap or whatever it is. No matter, there's not helping me in no positive way. You know, because I know we all have to vent. We all talk about what we talk about, but after so long, you ain't talked to this person in months, they coming back the same conversations about this, that is landed all out, that ain't nothing positive coming out the mail, ain't no positive doings behind it. I don't want to talk about it. Don't be the person to talk to me about it, because it ain't, ain't what I'm on and I ain't trying to do that. And we talked about that in the first episode. If y'all watched the first episode, listen to the first episode. If you did, I appreciate you, if you didn't, gone back a few spaces. Now, yeah, you want to be a positive influence. You want to be somebody that they know they can get some encouragement words. And I feel like when I have a conversation with people, I'm always giving encouragement words. We talk about what we talk about what we do, what we do, but I'm always leaving it on a positive note, because it's just me and it's just like, yeah, I don't, I don't know, it's that negative energy, baby. I don't want to feel, I don't want that around me. I want a negative influences around me, no negative energy, no negative vibes, rubbing off, none of that, like none of that, yeah, I want people around me that's talking about my goals, my dreams, what they, their goals, their dreams, what we trying to do here. How can we get there? That's the kind of influences I want around me, that's the conversations I want to talk about. But it ain't always about the goals and the dreams. I know that we go through some real life stuff and we can talk about it, but we don't need to there's dwell on it if they make sense. So yeah, we can talk about what we can do, but we don't need to dwell on it. If it's not positive, if it's not fiendless in a positive way, I don't want to dwell on it, you know, I don't want that to be there. Or that adding value is an ongoing process, like it's not something that you do on time and like, oh, I did this and I did this and yeah, and think that you just did the world, this gave them the world, the moon, the stars, and all the planets, baby. This is an ongoing process. It requires effort, so make sure you show them that it's care in genuine interests. Like, you don't want nobody to be spilling like they're doing some just to give some out of it. I don't want it to be genuine and be reciprocated like we've you doing something. For me, I wanted to be coming out the kinds of your heart. Not because you're senior is trying to get some out of the deal. No, ma'am. Because it's the end of the day. If I'm your friend, if I'm on your team, I'm always adding value. I'm always trying to see you grow. I'm always trying to help you grow. So it ain't going to never be like, you're, I'm the user here. It ain't going to, like, it's never going to give that first and foremost, never giving that. But you know, you don't want it to give user vibes and you don't want to feel like you that's being used. Like this person is doing this or seeing this or hanging around you or coming around you just to use you for what you know, your knowledge, your information, yada yada yada. And it's a lot of people out here like that, but they're not adding into anything that you're doing. That's like a little rundown, you know, a little quick rundown, probably one quick. That's a quick little rundown when it comes to adding value to relationships. Now we're going to move on to adding value in the workspace because that's important as well. Baby, you need the, you need the success. You need the coins, baby. I feel like this, I heard Erica by do say she feels like people should find the thing that comes easiest to them and master that. And that's absolutely right. I will say this master your role, master your role, and it can go for relationships to master the role you playing in it to, but we're on work career and work finances, whatever master your role, whatever position it is your plan, rather you the boss of the company, rather you the worker coming in the boss is still a worker, okay, you that's the top worker, okay. Master your role, whatever you might do, master that, ensure that you are delivering high quality work. You need deadlines, expectations, you exceed expectations at that in whatever task or assignment that you might have to do because if not, you are replaceable. If you become predictable, you are replaceable. If them people see that you are not doing something, you come in the next day, not doing anything, they're going to expect you to not do it the next day or not do it in the following future and this company, this brand, whatever it might be, whatever type of field, financially you work in, they're going to get rid of that, okay, you're going to be gone. Stay updated in the industry, if you're the boss, you want to make sure you're updated in the industry anyway because you want to see what's going on in the field, you want to see what's new, the coming, what's coming, what's happening in the field right now in the market right now, who's the top sellers, the low sellers, what they doing wrong, you want to stay up to date, you want to always be a student, you talked about that in the last episode, you want to always be a student, you want to always continue to enhance the values of your brand, your business, your organization and the position that you're playing, the role that you're playing, or the role that you have, you want to always make sure that you're adding some type of value in there because if you are replaceable, you just want to add enough value, they didn't see enough value in you, but some cases you have some people that didn't see your value right lead, but then they want you back because they see you moving up somewhere else, so now they want to work with you, now they're seeing, I know a little baby, so I can't say they don't hurt, but yeah, now they see you poppin, now they want you back, now they see you doing your big one, now they see the value of what you're doing and that's the whole another type of another day, people, don't, people being seeing your value too late, when it's too late, you are already down, you know what I'm saying, you're already gone, an example, working with brands as a content creator or influencer, so you might reach out to them, you might not have been as popping at the time or not had enough exposure because you know, your thing is about being exposed and being broadcast, so you might not have had a lot of leverage or exposure or a lot of connections at the time, you went really doing a lot of networking, y'all got the other, so you reached out to the person at the position that you were, you reached out to them with the full confidence of capacity, you know, the most confidence ever, brand proposal is to the T, you know, it's probably more to the T, then the biggest influence of biggest content creators, biggest whatever out here that's doing it for the social media, you might have reached out to them at the position that you were, where you were then, and they declined you, declined the whole offer, declined everything, now, not today, whatever blew you off, didn't probably respond, whatever the case might have been, then you learn the fear because they make you, you know, they bring out their beast, you get tired of being turned down, so now you're getting heard to where you're just getting in beast mode, you're showing up, showing out, you're still, you're still showing up, you're still showing out, you're just getting a beast mode, you investing in yourself more, you networking more, you're just doing everything more, yeah, then they, the people, the brands, the businesses, the job that didn't see your work didn't see your value, sees you now, now you, now you popping up everywhere, now what they didn't want to offer you, didn't want to pay you, didn't see your worth in, now they see your worth, now they want to work with you, now they see the value, now they see what you bring to the table, now they see you the whole table, and it's funny how you don't even want to work with no more, listen to this, that's tea, all right, we're going to move on, but that was just a little example when it comes to work, okay, because some people don't see your value at the time, like you see your value, you know what you can bring, you know what you're doing, baby, you the whole table, and dance on, but they don't see you at that time, they don't see you as that, they feel like you need to get more in the field first, some of us we do need to get up in the field first more, we do need to get up in the field first, some people you know, I ain't knocking your shot, I ain't telling you you can't, it's just like you need more practice, you need more work, you need more connections, it does take that, it does take that, you need more recommendations, you need more people vouch for you, vouch for your brand, vouch for whatever it is you're standing for about, you need more of that, you need more experience, so in some cases that's what it is, but then you have some people, they see you rocking with them, especially in this content created influence word, they see you rocking with them hard, you've been rocking with them for a few years, and they wait till you're five when you're blowing up and stuff and they see you popping everywhere, now all of a sudden, you know, or they see, or they see a competition trying to work with you, I've worked with you, now they want to reach out with another offer, that's how they do, you know what I'm saying, that's how they like to play, you know what I'm saying, they like to play like that, but yeah, y'all, they see you, it can't get discouraging, but you have to keep going, you got to see what it is, you can do some contribute and add value to this, because if they don't think that you can add no value to what they're doing, and then this is another thing guys, if they don't think that you can add no value, they're not going to bring you on, you're not going to be able to collaborate and work with them, because they don't see no type of value in what it is you're bringing, they don't see anything, you're not going to be able to work with them, they're not going to want to bring you on, because they don't see no reason to bring you on, and then that's another thing, what you're doing or what you're promoting or what you're whatever the experiences you have on your job resume, it might not align with what you're applying for then, but then some of your skills might align with them, so they might just take a chance on you, but some of the times it don't align, so that's why they don't work with you, it's kind of like when another artist want to get with another artist, and then the artist don't want to work with them, because they don't see that they can add anything to that, they feel like you already got your whole thing signed up, aligned up, and what I'm doing don't make no sense for me to come over here and do these, like it got to make sense to the brand, the business, it all has to make sense in the line, your values has to align as well in the workspace, and their values, the company, the brand's values that they are and who they are, their company values a certain thing, and if you are not that thing then that's it, and they do take chances on people, but in the influence of content, creative, business, world, job, role, whatever, it has to align with the company values, the brand values, your values, like in prime example, if you're an influencer and you do skincare out of time, you're always posting about skincare, through, through, through, skincare, this, skincare, that, your whole page, your whole agenda, your whole brand formation, it's about skincare, so why would I go to work with you, and collaborate with you, about shoes, it don't work out like that, it's not how you go, shoes, skincare, candles, pencils, it don't, it don't go, Okay, so you got to make sure that what you're bringing out and what you're putting out financially and business wise, it all align because if you don't align, it's not gonna work. Yeah, guys. So that's about the work. I didn't really want to touch too much on it because that's all another thing for all another thing when it comes to doing that thing. All right. Now, we're going to move on to the last episode as you can see. I'm going to wrap this up because I don't want this episode to be too freaking long. Yeah, but I know y'all love me and I love you. So I know y'all got to go ahead and watch them so forth because y'all love me and I love you. However, the last episode that we're getting into when it comes to adding value is adding value in personal development and self-improve for me. Set goals, set personal, clear goals, make them goals very clear, set them goals very clear. Anything is achievable, okay? Anything is achievable, literally. Failure is achievable, success is achievable. So with setting clear goals, you want to be specific. You want to be specific on what it is you're trying to do, what you're trying to gain. It needs to be achievable goals. Like, don't be talking about I want to go, you know, take a rocket to Mars and I'll do that. Like, it needs to be some very achievable goals. And the thing about it is you can have this very big goal that has to be achievable within five to ten years or whatever that's fine. But starting where you are now, what is it that you can do right now this week, next week, this month, next month, all the way up to a year, three years in pass, till you get to that five to ten year mark. What is it that you can do each and every day or each and every week or each and every month to get to that full long-term goal? Like you need to have a clear objectives on what it is you need to accomplish or what it is you need to put in play or what it is you need to do. And that's what I talked about in our being intentional podcast episode. Like y'all have to be intentional on what it is. We have to be intentional as a whole on what it is we're trying to do and we need to get it done. Because it's really achievable, anything that we want out of life, we can get. Anything that you put your mind to and you can do, you can achieve, you can get it done. I just feel like you need to get you a little note pad and use your little notes and use your little notes in your phone, your phone notes, whatever and write them notes down. Give very clear on what it is you want and what it is you need to do to get to this. How can I do this? If you want to open up a brick and mortar building, selling ice cream or selling tennis shoes, what can you do right now to get to that position? Can you sell the shoes online right now and just ship the orders out until you make enough money to go and get that building or could you go and apply for a loan and go and get the building? You got to make your plays around what it is you know that you can do that's achievable for you. You also have to push yourself. A little bit is still is better than no stuff. So you always want to make sure that you are doing some type of stuff to what it is you're trying to do or whatever it is you're trying to achieve. When it comes to self-development, you want to learn more than what it is you already know because it's a lot of stuff that you think you know but you just don't know for real. Like you need to go know some of it. Go be mentored a little bit more, go watch a few podcast episodes on it, go watch a few YouTube videos on it, go read a few books, it's some stuff that you might have missed that you don't know. So you want to make sure you are continuing to learn. You want to make sure that you are making it a habit of a lifelong learning. So also when it comes to goals you want to set out goals and I always have to be about jobs, finances. You know I always have to be about that. You can set a personal goal that you want to achieve. Maybe you want to be in a different mindset, a different space or whatever it might be. You want to be in a different mindset, different body size, weight, losing weight, gaining weight, whatever it might be, personal goals for yourself. You want to make sure you set out a good outline of them goals and also the steps that you have to do to achieve them goals as well. And it comes to adding values to your personal development and self-improvement. You want to also make sure that you are self-reflected. It's important that you look back on the past. You don't have to dwell on the past but you need to learn from the past. So they don't want to repeat itself in the present or in the future. You do want to remember where you came from and it ain't this talk about a show, birth place. It's talk about here. You want to remember where you was mentally and how far you've came. You just want to reflect on your values, your beliefs, your weaknesses, your strengths. And the areas that need improve me. Self-awareness is a big key when it comes to personal development. And I can't say so myself because I do reflect on my weaknesses and my strengths and the areas that need work. I do self-reflect on all of that because I want to be able to grow in all of that. Making sure I know myself that I'm aware of who I am and that I'm aware of my values and the things that I need to work on. My weaknesses and the things that I believe in and just overall that's learning and unlearning unhealthy things and applying it to where I am now and yeah, that's working. Working on me. I saw a thing that we don't like to do a lot but it's very helpful in seek feedback. Like you should seek feedback from like if you have a coach or a mentor or even a peer, like a friend, whatever. Like constructive criticism can like help you identify your blind spots and the things that you didn't even know that was there that might be, you know, very viewable to the viewer. What a person, how they perceive you or how you're perceived to the people in the world, that kind of thing. So, constructive criticism can't help you and it can't help you improve. Constructive criticism can bring awareness to the areas you might need improvement in and just overall is good to take constructive criticism because you never know how you might be perceived to the world. We all are trying to protect our brain, protect our image, protect our name, protect our reputation, woo, woo, whatever it might be, but you might not know how it is you're being perceived to others. So you might be this nice sweet person, woo, woo, woo, woo, and everybody else, thank you today. Okay, everybody else don't see you that way. But you don't want to be a person this of the world is will. You don't want to be of this world. You want to be who it is, God created you to be first and foremost. But then you also want to make sure that you're not a person that's, you know, well, then out reputation matters and just be aware of the blind spots that you might not have known or might not have even noticed like you might have thought about it, but it might not have been that big to you, but it's very noticeable to everybody else. So that whole thing also when it comes to your self-improvement and adding value to that in your personal development, time management matters. Where are you spending your time? What are you giving all your time to? How much of your time are you giving to distractions and things that are not aligned in with your personal goals, financial goals, whatever it might be, goals, health goals, fitness goals, whatever it might be, you got to make sure you have some type of time management. Another thing is embracing challenges like when we feel we want to give up, but it's important that we embrace our challenges. We embrace the things that we might have felt from, like you might have felt 500 times. I tell my daughters this all the time, like you can feel 500 times, but you can't give up. When you give up, that's the real failure. Like we look at like all I made allows for all I lost out on some money or all I did isn't that all the life I wasn't successful, this too hard, the challenges, this too challenging, whatever. But the real failure or the real challenge, the challenge is for you not to give up and the real failure is when you give up. But also you have to know when it is you need to depart for something. Something might not be working out because it's not supposed to work out, but that all comes with having to sign me and having a relationship with the Lord because he's going to be able to let you know and let you know what you need to do. And when you just don't know what to do, you know, you'll be still, you pray. He'll always be there to, yeah, he's going to do his thing. It can just help you with better opportunities in this more opportunities for growth and more opportunities to learn. Okay. Another way that you can add value to your self-development and personal development and your self-improvement is by being kind to yourself, telling yourself good affirmations. And I have five affirmations that I always tell my kids and we say these like every single day and I will share it with you all. One is we say, I am beautiful. I am enough. I am the head and not the tail. I am an asset and not a liability. I am intelligent. Okay. So I say those every morning with my daughters, but we have our own that we say by ourselves, but those are the sum that we say as a whole every morning to, it's just a recital thing. And then when we're doing certain stuff, I say, if we're beautiful, we got to get up here and take care of ourselves like we're beautiful, like we love ourself. they're beautiful, they love themselves, they take care of themselves, they, you know what I'm saying? They represent beauty. If we are very intelligent then we think when we think before we speak, we think before we do things. So we just get up and we just do those five affirmations and it's very important that you tell yourself these things and you don't have to use the ones that I use you use whichever ones you want to use for yourself that might align with you. You want to be kind, you want to watch what it is, you're telling yourself watch what it is, you're feeding yourself, watch what it is, you're eating. All of this stuff plays a big part with personal development and self-improvement. The things that you're eating, it can make you feel like crap that day and now you're feeling like crap. The things that you're watching, the things that you're listening to, like I am a person that loves hip-hop music and R&B music but I have stopped on it. I just listen to jazz and stuff. You don't have no lyrics. They ain't telling me how to feel. None of this. So like you want to be mindful of the things like I said that you're eating, that you're telling yourself. You want to be mindful of the energy? Yeah, you want to be mindful of that. Also once again, celebrate your achievements, celebrate the things that you love. Everybody don't have to know what it is, you're doing or whatever. It don't matter how small it is and it don't matter who is there clapping for you or whatever. It might fail away at the time but it really doesn't matter because it's the end of the day. It's all up to you what you're doing and are you clapping for yourself or are you the one putting in the work for yourself? You the one getting this recognition or you the one who achieved this. So you the one that should be making sure you the one front and center for yourself. You got to show up for yourself all the time regardless of who is there and who is not. All right.
