Absolutely Crushing w/ Michael Blaustein!

The conversation is a lively, self-reflective journey through personal memories and cultural observations. The speaker shares humorous anecdotes about childhood book collecting, free pizza from reading books, and their early drug use, particularly with meth and cocaine. He challenges common stereotypes about American obesity by highlighting the physical size of people in Hawaii’s Simoan region, attributing it to evolutionary and metabolic factors. The discussion turns to humor and pop culture, with admiration for Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan, and deep engagement with the animated series *Family Guy*, especially the character Stewie. A major theme is the overwhelming nature of group chats, which he finds chaotic and emotionally draining, leading him to avoid them entirely. He recounts a personal experience of being hacked in a group chat, where he had to manually approve content, resulting in a disturbing influx of inappropriate posts. This leads to a broader reflection on digital privacy and online safety. The speaker also explores his past drug experiences and now expresses interest in microdosing psilocybin mushrooms, citing a desire for mental clarity and a more vivid perception of reality, though he acknowledges the intense and sometimes terrifying psychedelic experiences. Throughout, the tone balances humor, self-deprecation, and genuine curiosity about human behavior, identity, and modern digital culture. The episode ends with a light-hearted sponsorship mention of Puffco, a vaping brand.

*Sings "Oh You Can"* I have like 20 minutes, and Google says the spelling and pronunciation of his name is different from when you answered the phone. Because we were like, "Is it Steen or Stein?" And you answered him like, "Now I'm lost!" So sorry, what can you guess? Michael Blowstein. Oh, girl! Let's go! You did it, dude. Every host ever has been like, "Can you say it again?" I'm like, Stein, like Frank, it sounded like, "Yo, no doubt I got it." I know, or else sounds good. Dude, boo spums. Oh, he made it. I went to the book fair when I was like, fucking 11, stole. I would steal boo spums books. Still to this day, at my mom's place. Still got it? Dude, I have 50 of them. All lined up. Here's the thing, though. Haven't read even when you stole them. Buddy, not one. I mean, never even opened it. I just liked collecting shit. Yeah, dude. I just liked to be like, "I got it." It was like Pokemon before Pokemon. I was like, "I got them all." I thought, "So good. I don't have them all." But I felt really good. It looked so cool. Then I cracked them. It was crazy. I would only read those. I could get a free pizza for pizza hut. 'Cause they always give you the. You read three books, so give you a pizza. That's the fattest thing I ever heard. Yeah. You're gonna blame pizza hut? You're gonna blame Oral Stein and Pizza hut. No, I blame my non-present parents. That's why I blame. Good. I was already fucking fat. I know what happened. Yeah, they're like. Read those. I mean, listen, no hate to the dumb and overweight people, but at least you got one. America, we're talking to you. Yeah. After I went to Europe, I. It took me two days. It took me two fucking days to find a guy fatter than me. Two days. Two days. You weren't in the right city. I was in Paris. That's not the right city. Oh, it's not. And I was in an instrument. I'm sick of this slander that like Americans. Americans, we are fat for sure. For sure. But it's like you. But other countries act like we're the only fat country. No, there's some fat people. You ever seen some moans? Yeah. Well, some moans are jacked in my head. Not all of them. Well, yeah, for sure. Hold on. For sure. Yeah. Let me ask the most dumb American questions. Simoans are a cookie. But Simoans are. No. For Simoans. Fuck, dude. Who? Simoans are cookies. Simoans are like the female cookie. Simoans are from Hawaii. We just talked about this the other day. They're from right below Hawaii. Moa? Yeah, it's a place called Simoa. Bro, everyone's lying in this whole thing. Hawaii light. That's what it is. Okay. Is it? All right. This is like, "Yo, you live on an island, you're gonna be fucking huge." Yeah, but what? That's what I'm saying. Yes. How big is the island? I mean, if you guys already did this, I'm sorry. No, we just talked about that as a group. Okay, great. Yes, movie. But for real, we need to do some research why Simoans generally are massive. And I need to. I have a lot of questions for you. I need to get those fingers typing. Why are they so jacked? And what is the average size height wise? I tell you now. You can't. My wife's best friend. You don't have a wife? Yeah, she's married. She's married to a Simoan. Your wife's best friend, God, okay. And his whole family, I grew up with them too. But what of that family though? His brother, Gino's like six, eight. And he wears like 16s, dude. Yeah, fuck. Big fuck. And then his brother, Jeff, I went to school with my whole life. It's like Segot from Street Fighter. Yep, yep, yep, yep. Just like that tall, six-four. And then the runt of the family is like 12-ring size. And he's the smallest guy. We got some average is average male height, five foot nine. Dude, I get that. Those are female height. And the shorter, I'm still an athlete, like Islanders. Known for their large powerful physique due to a combination of evolutionary genetics. How efficient, metabolizable. We bred them. It's all in here. How do we say we? Who's we? The earth. The earth. Okay. All of you. Is it? Well, all of us. Yeah. Yeah. All of you guys. That's a funny word. That's not me. Never really thought about it. Let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's, let's dive in here. Talk about sucking come. That picture's nice. Nice picture. Thanks, bro. You know, do you feel when you take pictures, we look cool. Dude, I feel weird as fuck. Yeah. Because that picture doesn't represent who I am as a human being. You actually sound sometimes. Sometimes, sometimes I feel like that picture. Yeah. Sometimes. Oh, I get that. I like to live as like a cartoon character. Most of my life. Who would you be if you had to be a cartoon character forever in that universe? Bugs Bunny. Fucking running. Yeah. Cause he is the president of cartoons. He's a president of cartoons. He's also so funny. He's hilarious. You can play basketball. He does get that. Oops. He's an orchestra conductor. He does, he dude. He's multifaceted. I just realized this right now. The Bugs Bunny does a hundred shit. He's the best, you're not wrong. Yeah. And he says racist jokes before if things were like, you can't say that. Right. Yeah, he messes your semi-sant and Ilmer Fudd. Right. The whites. He got shot more than 50 cents. He's more than 50 cents. He did get shot a lot. What else? Michael Jordan. Right. And he hooped well. He did. He did. Did he have your date? What's that lady from Space Jam? That. Low money. Thank you. Did they ever date? You've been banging her for a long time. Do we know that for sure? I'm sure there's a porn out there where they drew it. Yeah, let's not do a Rule 34 or the fuck it's called. Let's not do that. Huh? What's that mean? You guys never done? Is it 43? No, it's 34. Oh, I got some shit. What is this? This has been a bane of my existence. So, Rule 34 is essentially like you can just look up. Like, what you were just pitching, they probably have it on Rule 34. So it's effective. Like, oh man, fucking. Like, like the Hulk fucking like Stewie from Family Guy. Like that type of shit. That's a child. Hey, you know what I'm talking about. No, no, no, no, fuck. Oh, is that one the dude? Which equally is that? Which is equally is that? He's also five. Fuck. He's also five. Is he really five? We're even dog years. I mean, it's people years probably. Do we know for sure that he's five? No, he's probably 25. It's just a good offer. Oh, he, yeah. I'm surprised the dog's not dead yet. He should be. He should be. Is this show still going? It is. I watched it last night. Wow, it's so good. Gotta be honest, the last step season's funny. It's the last like four. We're like, oh. Okay. New season's fucking. Stewie takes an edible and so does Lois. And they can hear each other. She can finally understand that he's talking. I blew my mind, dude. I'm not sure. It wasn't great, but it blew my mind. So is it not good because whatever his name is, it's not part of the show anymore? Because didn't he let it go? I have no idea. Is that the following? Thank you. I don't know. I think Seth. McFarlane let the show go. He might still be EP. I don't think he's like part of the creative process. I might be told it wrong, but that's the last. I was here. That's the last thing that I remember. I don't remember. I don't remember. And maybe that's why the show is falling on. Because I haven't seen it in a long, long time. But the episodes that I have seen are so good, man. Like, just laugh out loud. And I don't laugh. Like, I mean, I laugh. But when I'm watching content that's supposed to be funny. You don't laugh. No, because it's like, I mean, it's a comic. Like, you know, like, the math of it. Oh, where it's coming. Yeah, so it's like, it's kind of, it's sort of like Russian work. Russian work. Right, right. Well, yeah, that's why you can't ever look at like a standard comics like group chat. It's like horrendous. A group chat? Yeah, like, like, if you're in a group chat, like a bunch of comics. Oh, yeah. It's, it's mayhem. And it has to be mayhem because it's like, you can't be regular funny. You have to say like, really bad stuff. Oh, man. No. No. You guys don't really leave me out. But yeah, it was not full. I knew like eight motherfuckers. And I saw weed air and was like, I don't care enough. I don't want your number. Happy summer to you. I'll see you next year. Fuck yeah. So you don't have any friends now? I have some friends. I just don't do group chat. I can't do the bunch of people thing. Well, can I say this? Oh, so much. No, no, can I say this? Yeah. I am on board. Every time I'm in a group chat, I do not respond. Unless, here's like, I think of group chats the same way I think of dinner. If you bring me to a dinner that's like 10 people, I'm not saying one thing. But if you bring me to a dinner with three people, we'll talk. No, I'll be very involved. But 10 is just too overwhelming. People are talking over each other. People are tagging up jokes that were three sentences ago and this new person starting a new thing I don't know what the fuck's happening and then you wake up then you wake up dog and you wake up This to seventy three and you're like what is this and there's a bunch of comics riffing or like your family chat This coin. You're like I don't even know what we are right now. Oh, I'm sorry to fail my thing I have muted every single chat every single time and I leave them on Instagram. I'm sorry DMed personally dude for someone to put you in a group chat on on Instagram. Oh, you should be it should be illegal And if you do you should be arrested. It's a hundred it's crazy and they're so racist Oh my god, give me out. You know it should be illegal. Honestly, you shouldn't be able to tag me and stuff like contests But dude know just anything like the tag the tag function on Instagram should be illegal Dude, have you ever clicked on your tag shit? It's oh The back end and put approved manually and that's how I've had it there for four years Yeah, you put am I dumb. I'll show you how to do it. It's the best thing ever because somebody will spam it 66 I know like this is on my page. Dude, this looks stupid I recently went there and it's just like bullshit. It's bullshit. It's bullshit. It's like bangled as she man Go on whatever and then it take and and that seems racist, but you guys don't want to mean. Oh, no. Yeah, we yeah I was about to do an accent, but I shouldn't do it and the other thing is Dude, I'm like I'm duty on a pod. I had a lot with a V My hair is gonna start. I don't know And the other thing I found was just a like a bunch of like women Like like moving breasts around and trying to promote their OF move and I'm like around. I like that. Thank you And move and you know and and trying to promote their OF and I'm like, how is this okay for you to Use my shit for your shit. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. That's what you feature off. You need a show I got you manually approve the best thing I ever did. Yeah, mainly because if you if it's like a mean grief photo I'm great with that because it's it's helping it's helping us both out and you're stoked That I let it be up there. Correct. Let's run it. Yeah, it's just fans. I mean. Yes It's usually what it is or something if like a artist did something cool, but I'll stay on But I'll check it like every couple months. Mm-hmm. I started proving it took me like eight hours to un-manually Untag me from like we got hacked my No, and the guy DMs my rating page Let me know how much you want for your page to get back and then I hacked somebody to hack it back And I have all his pictures. Yes Or, dude, I would leave out. I wouldn't take the presidency job for a Katrina. Do you know how I would dress you would yeah, you know what I do. I go hey Delegate delegate talk to me once a month Dude, you know, you know you know the comic Ryan Regan. Of course. Thank God. Okay. He is Mason Yeah, this dude is so he's so funny if you guys don't know him just he's super clean dude But he's so funny. He's absolutely thrilled But he had this joke that I I think about like once a month He could I can never be the president man because you you get woken up like this problems There's more problems like every day Every day there's it's never like yo man sick day ahead. It's horrible every day You think reading the news is bad. Imagine being the dude that the news is about It's horrible and has other thing that I'm working on on stage where I'm like Well, I'm like, this is how we should pick the president. We had be I had get a room and put everyone in the room that once we president You go all right raise your hand. He's gonna be president and whoever raises their hand you kill them Kill them Nobody that wants to be president should be president Oh my god, and not to get dude. I don't but where's my camera? All right If I was the president, I would definitely run it. I would definitely run it into the ground Yeah, I'll be horrible. Yeah, well the other thing what we talked about it like mention me the president like hey guys don't listen in I'm gonna bang my wife in this room, but you're all standing outside Can I let you in on some stuff right now? They're always listening to all of us all the time so legit Right now everything when you're jerking off when you're having sex with your wife all of it Everyone's watching it all time so the idea of like oh no, they're what they're listening Good Can you go down the hallway? I cannot actually have to stand right actually unlike do I have to say next Oh, you're right. Yeah, human's just kicking it. That would be a problem Yeah, it's like your country will visit every like dude, right? I can see your shadow under the door Yeah, yeah, I get peace shy. Thank you so much I mean the crowds would Depart like it was Moses depart. I mean apart. Yeah, what's this spread apart spread apart not a part not a deep part part Yes, it was part. Thanks man. You're a great co-host. This is my plot now A part time. Nope. No Now part time's not great. Does that mean Indian? Indian gang Do you love Indian gang Indian gang? No, it's kidding. I just said Indian gang because honestly, they you are a gang Can I say this run and taking our wheel? What's up? We didn't we didn't give back this We thought some all that are generally big. They're five nine But five eight this way, too Okay, remember like a I don't take Abbott. He was only five nine or six He's a big white man. I take it back. Yeah, I mean, I think you know in football I mean unless you're like quarterback on line me don't have to be super tall, but I mean in my head Simone's are like six three like they all look like a lot of big dudes. Yes, they're all big But if the average is five nine, I mean, I think the American average is probably taller than five nine, isn't it? I don't know why it's got height I would say they're about six one, but Simone's a five nine two twenty five. Good to you. You like squirt up jack. Yeah, and quick Yeah, I'm making it up. I have no idea. They're so fast. Are they we're talking about like a breed of animal and shit I'm sorry, Simone's you guys are fast and strong my bad so - It's awesome. - It's awesome. - It's awesome. - You guys get scholarships to anywhere you want, fucking jerks. - Where do they normally go? I mean, they're more in a rate, right? Where do they normally go for school? - Yeah. - My town's sort of paying for college departments for like six of the biggest students I've ever seen. - Yeah, where did you go to school? - From Reset, California, by Fresno. - Where? - For Fresno, thank you. - Resets, you see Reset. They have a UC now? - Oh, yeah. - That little town. Oh, you don't? - No, I just wanted to be on board. I have no idea where you come from. - Okay, I don't like saying no to it. I thought we were riffing, you know? So I just like, yeah, no exactly. It's just fucking awesome. - Oh, it's keeping my faith. - You were passed by on the '99 of California. - Of course. - And you smell cow shit and meth. - Yes. - Merced. - Merced. - That's Fresno. - Great. - And that stretch of like, ugh. - Before Sacramento. - Okay. - That's us. How was it growing up there, man? - City. - School. - All right. - Well, if they were part, dude. - Leaving. - Leaving. - Yeah. I would say leaving, coming back, going, they built something. - How long, how old were you left, 18? - No, I left like 10 years ago, man. - Oh, yeah. - All right. - I left like 10 years ago. I'm just talking shit, it's fine. - Yeah. - But yeah, I grew up in such California. It's been, it was full of drugs. What about you? - Did you consume them? - Yeah, of course. - Yeah, of course. - Good. - Of course. - Of course. - If it's all around you, it's like, what? It's like growing up in a farm and not eating an apple. - Unless you're in a core field. - Correct. - And then you'd be like, "Where the fuck do you get an apple?" - Are you ready? - No, core, where do you stand? - Good. - You're in here. - I get it. - Here or more, here or more. - Get it too, here or more. - Come on, dude, back flip. - Yo, if I could, how have we talked about it? I just wanted to lose weight and get in shape so I could do a back flip. - Is this what it is? - It's really what it is. - Okay. - And do drugs. - I want to be able to do hard drugs again. - Why can't you do hard drugs? - There's no sugar in hard drugs. You see, Christopher. - I mean, everyone laughed. - You can't be fat. - You can't be fat. And do drugs. - Other bad, double back flip. (laughing) - Oh, no. - This guy's not a double back flip. No, but why, but why, why? - Because the fact guys can't do drugs is like, 'cause if I die from drugs and I'm like, "Full, you're fat. "You shouldn't have been doing drugs." - Is it? - And Chris, probably I loved and like, I shouldn't do drugs. I love that guy. - So it doesn't, and all funny for like, it has nothing to do with each other? - What, being fat and doing drugs? - Being fat and doing hard drugs. - Yeah, 'cause I feel like you're fat or you might die from those hard drugs. - Is that real? - Yeah. - Oh, it is real. - Oh, yeah. - I love to fucking do cocaine all the time. - Whoa. - And then I don't do any more. - Well, can I say something? - Yeah. - Maybe it's, first of all, maybe it was convection sugar. Maybe it wasn't cocaine. (laughing) - I'm, I'm crushing. No, no. (laughing) - That's not my work as a fat. (laughing) - No, no, no, no. Just do it. - First of all, you're not, you're not fat. But the second, the second thing is, you should have seduced me. - No, no, no, no, no, no. Let me suck your tits. (laughing) (laughing) - You can do it. - Yeah, I might've been sugar. - No, no, no, no. - I'm just re-entering the whole time. - I'm not re-entering the whole time. Dude, so funny for you to come to Jesus. Ah, fucking my lunch. - I'm sure I get it. - No, but, but what I'm saying is like, but maybe it was a good thing though, - Of course I could get it. - for you to get off coke. - Yeah, I could get it, right? - Yeah. - Because I feel like, and maybe I'm wrong, people might be being, well, yeah, but maybe being slightly overweight is more healthy than being on coke. Am I right or wrong? - Let's fun. - I'm gonna agree with you on that. - I say, let's fun. - Let's fun. - No, I'm sweaty. - I think I'm sweaty right now, though. - You work. (laughing) - Okay. - Yeah, no, just heart drugs. In fact, I shouldn't mix. It's like, you're fat on your heart. So I'm doing drugs that fuck your heart up. I'm not really gonna do drugs again. I just want the fact that, like, if I want to, I could because I won't die, because I'm finally healthy. And backflip, we always talk about it. I want to be able to do a backflip while we're talking about it. You want to do it? - Yeah. - Yeah. - Why not? - Yeah. - No, no, I don't. - Exactly. - I mean, it would be incredible. - Oh, did you ever, when you were a kid, run around on the sidewalk and you were on skateboard hitting the curbs? - Yes! - Imagine doing a backflip out of that. - Oh! - Oh! - Oh my god, like a fake Ollie and just a backflip. Tony Hawk, dude. - I would be Tony Hawk. - So when did you, how long did you cook for? - From, like, 5th, 14th, 15th. - Yeah, that's early. - How should I have a place, do you have to live, to be, like, Nintendo or cook? - What was that? - Chris. - Chris still met that. - I understand what Chris is. - What? - Yeah, like, essentially, about his full of drugs. - Yeah. - Okay. - So from, like, 14, I stopped when I was 22. 'Cause I remember, I got a sack with my friend when I was 22. I was doing rails and I got sleepy. - What? - I'm like, why do I feel like I'm gonna pass it out? - I always met Latone in, bro. - No, I don't know what happened, but I had, I got a science infection, the only one I've ever had. But I got it to where it started, like, my equilibrium got thrown off. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - So I could stand, I was getting, like, that's when I drank all that lean by accident from my dad, told me he was medicine. It's fucking pro-methizing. I chugged it through a black. 'Cause I drank the whole bottle, I didn't know. I thought it was medicine. - You drank pro-methizing. - The whole fucking bottle to throw it up. And while I was throwing it, my nose started bleeding 'cause the pressure started to remember, I'm like, I'm puttune on my knees. - What did he think it was? He was giving you, 'cause he just got stomach surgery. He's like, this helped my stomach. And you don't feel good, you're dizzy. You just drink it, like, all right, dad. And I drank it all 'cause I was so sick. And I just started throwing it black. - Yeah, he should. I was dying on my porch. Blood and black, and then just me, oh, let's see if I was skinny. Be easier. - I don't know, dude, I think that's the exact same thing that happened. - That's a joke, dude. - At least I wouldn't have to do this. - Oh! - I mean, there would have been a truck out of the wall. - I wouldn't have thrown up. - There would have been less throw up, but that would have been, yeah. Yeah, there would have been dungeon-ish crabbing your throw up. - It was bad, it's dumb, it was weird. I think it was, like, my stomach lining probably, yeah. - Oh, dude. - It fucking smelled. And that was the last time you had ever to cook? - Yeah. - Well, no, no. - I knew there was a bunch under my tongue, but I haven't started cooking, like, fucking 15 years right now. - Okay, okay, and then I've never done it. - Good. - What's wrong with it? - Because I'm scared that I'll really like it. - You should never do it ever. - No, dude, I won't, I won't ever, but I'm very scared that what makes me like, uppers is like, like, I know this is like, baby shit, compared to cooking, but, like, coffee, like, caffeine is like, it's like, I fucking, I fucking love it, dude. Like, I love it. So, that feeling of being like, amped in fucking, that's what, this is my own caffeine. So, I can't even imagine probably how much I'd like cook. It's not okay. - Never. - Well, never. - Yeah, yeah, I can't. - Never. - 'Cause, like, I smoke a lot with this, so I do, I do, I do, we shit. Well, I talked about it when I decided first time I go, oh, I, I keep it. Now I understand, fuck drugs, this is fun. - Yeah. - And then when I first did a cook and went, fuck weed, who cares about weed in school? - Right. - Did you see my story at school this year? - Yeah, it was so fun. And then I stopped doing a cook and I'm like, that shit will kill you, and I just love weed. And then I just don't think I'll ever do hard drugs again until we get to the certain age, 'cause I want to do heroin so bad. - Do you really? - I really do want to smoke. - Like, really, really? - Like, opium, I want to smoke opium so bad. But what I'm all this fuck. - I know, I hear that. - I've, I've, I've pitched this a lot. - What? - Like, I understand like, being, you know, 91 and being like, I'm going, 80, it's okay. 88, and just going to an opium. I don't even know if those exist anymore. - Yes, that's exactly. - Just fucking going like Taiwan and just, yeah. I mean, when we're 88, let me tell you something, Taiwan's not gonna exist anymore. But. - It'll be a hybrid of some other country. - Something, hybrid. - Yeah. - Like a base get ball. - Base get ball. - Base get ball. - Yeah, yeah. - Hybrid teams. - Yeah, yeah. - I hear you. - Yeah. - I hear you. But it doesn't, it doesn't appeal to you now, like, right? - Of course it does. I just don't want to do anything right. They go, "He had a lot going on." - I just don't want that to happen. - But yeah, do you see someone on her, like they don't look, they have that moment of being like, it's cool and then they don't look great. - No, but they probably feel. - Remember as a kid, you were open up. - You know what, some heroin and ended great. - Unless, isn't there some dude, some professors like Microdose and Harlan or something? - He's a badass, you mean? I don't know. - A super hero you mean? - There's some professor that I saw a clip, whatever. He's literally Microdose. He's like a professor like Brown or Princeton or Harvard, something like that. - I sort of got, and he, he Microdose is Harlan, I think it is Harlan. But he doesn't in a way where he like, you know, it's. - Imagine he's so smart. - I'm an addict. I need to figure out how to do this every day. - Yeah, word. - I'm just gonna do a little bit. - Yeah. - I'm gonna do a thesis on it. - Right, right, right, right, right, right. But, I mean. - It's a study. - But he does have like the right mentality, where it's just like caffeine at some point, I have to have so much to feel what I, to chase the dragon ish, you know? So, but if I Microdose, if I woke up and only had, you know, 10 grams, grams, what are the fuck mill elite, whatever the fuck of caffeine instead of doing 200, that I could just-- - How is your coffee? - It depends on what coffee I have. - Like that coffee. How much is that? How much caffeine? - It's probably 70 or 67. - So, I don't drink any caffeine or do I? - I love drinking, actually, in him. - He's my, he, he lives right next to you, so he knows what I could eat. Any of the drinks I eat drink don't, yeah, I don't know how I drink caffeine. - So, let me, so you, are you like a, like a wake and bake dude? - Not anymore. I'm so much shit to do, I don't really, I don't smoke as much as I used to. - So, you wake up. - And immediately go to panic motorbike. I have 80 emails. - Oh, cool, of course, cool, cool, cool. But I can't, when I wake up and get into that panic mode, I need a coffee to do-- - Oh, I never tried it. - Dude, maybe, you sound like an addict, maybe you shouldn't. But like-- - I just don't like the smell of the taste. - It turns the lights on. It brings-- - Hey, thank you. - I don't drink coffee. You guys know I just smoke weed all day. I don't take anything. - But when you're not knowing-- - I'm tired! - The coffee balance is out the weed perfect. - I wish. - I've heard this. Dude, there's a weed shop on my house. It's not fucking blank and wrong. It doesn't matter. The point is, is they have, like, they have like, it's like a really nice coffee shop which I've been to a hundred times, and they have the weed shop right next to it. - Oh, this is-- - Oh, this is-- - Comes together. - Oh, it's the woods? Does that-- - Oh, yeah. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - You reach to the thing there. - Who? - Who? - Who? - Who? - What do you hear also known as that spot? - Oh, work. - Oh, woods. I mean, eat it, bro. - You're just hiding last time, that's all. - I mean, eat it. - No, but I see all people, like, - Yeah, the coffee, whatever, and they get a coffee, I'm like, oh, this must be-- - I mean, that's what he fueled on that. - That's the recipe. - That's exactly-- I drink coffee, I smoke barbers at 4 a.m., and I'm up. - What's up, guys? Take a moment from this episode of Talk About Our Sponsor, and thank you to Puffco. - Every time we do a Puffco, there's always something sicker. It just looks sick, and on top of that, it just looks heady. It looks sick, and it comes this way. It comes with a bunch of different accessories, but something I really like is the new updated hot knife, and it matches, here's the color way. Super sick. And before you know Puffco, I don't be here in an October, so go ahead and get your tickets, get ready, get your plane tickets, get everything you need. Puffco is coming. Just really wanted to introduce you guys to this. This is insanely cool. It's badass. Thank you so much to Puffco for sponsoring this episode, and thank you guys for supporting the brands that actually support us. We appreciate you. Let's get back into this episode. - What's your relationship with Weed Lake? - Um, to be of use, no, not in grade, dude. I can't function. Like I can't, and here's the thing. Like I, I romanticized the idea of people who can smoke Weed and function, because it does seem like it, like one to me, and correct me if I'm wrong, I guess everyone's different, right? - Yeah. - It's like, I feel like it can tamp down like anxiety a little bit, and sort of like brighten your days up, and maybe even make you like a little happier than what you would be. - Maybe. - Just a little bit to mount a Weed. - Little bits. - Yeah, I noticed like, I'll, I spoke a lot. Like, I used to smoke like an ounce of, a day all the time. - Yeah. - But I was selling, you know, smoking was making videos, I was sitting there all day, coming up with video ideas for YouTube. That's what I did. Well, I had noticed if I smoked like a half a gram of a joint, like a small joint, I would get like, a little like high school highlight when you, - Yeah, yeah. High school highs, like the best, bro. - No one's gonna know. That's that feeling I get like a, like in my head, I feel like high school highs. - Yeah, yeah. - Past that, I'm like, I'm just normal, just burnt. But that's what I'm smoking a lot though. - Like how do you, I'm like, I can't, I just, I just, I don't, yeah, I guess. - Imagine like the old lawyers, like you just drank a whole shot before you're meeting. - Nothing. - I need something. - Yeah, I need something to get through it. - And it's not even like, I need like, I want caffeine. It's for me, it's just a habit, man. Like I want to, I need to get high. I don't even get high off Weed that much anymore. I just like the action of like, oh, that shit's fire looking. - Really good. - So there's no, you don't feel, - I still feel Weed, I still feel it, but I smoke a lot of hash every day. - I don't know what hashes. - I've heard of a, um, beer, hashes liquor. - Yeah, that's incredible. - Okay. - Much liquor, I'm drinking beer. Like that guy's an alcoholic. - Yeah, I already heard it. - There. - A little hash in that little machine, like a little bone, that drink. He just take dab hits of hash. So hashes is like, you get the Weed, you freeze it, or you get the Weed and you squeeze it. - Yeah. - And it juices out, and that's wax, and hash. - Yeah. - So the wax is hash, is that what that is? - Yeah. - It's a different name for it, because some wax is made with a butane. You extract it chemically, and some stuff, you just do ice and water, and all the tricons, the sticky shit will fall off, and then you squeeze that, and that's hash. Or you can just smoke that. It's like a cold press juicing. Exactly what it is. You can eat the orange, of course, which is Weed. Or you can squeeze it, just drink the juice. - Okay. - Or you can squeeze it, and then strain it, and then drink the juice like, "Damn, that's a little much." - Yeah. - That's like an expensive shit. - So what is, now it's just turned into a Weed class? What's dabs? That's, dabbing is just an act of saying, "Let's smoke." A dab is wax, hash, crumble. She had all that falls under the categories of hash. - Well, I'm saying, but like, I went to, I-- - People didn't make any dabs. - Dabs is a nickname. - It's new, okay. - Oh, I thought it was like a specific like, if I hit a dab. - No, a dab is like saying, "Let me smoke a bowl." - Really? I thought a dab was a fucking thing. - It is, but it's like saying a bowl. I think it's a quick dab. A dab is just saying, "I think a bowl." - Really? But I did this Weed show, not recently, but like a year ago, and everyone was smoking dabs, and it was like, it-- - Dabs is that, just me saying. - The way that I was digesting it was like, it was a different type of weed. If you're smoking dabs, it's like a worm. - That's like the category, Blakey category name. - Oh, okay. - It's like, "Let's smoke a bowl, let's smoke a bowl, "let's smoke a dooby." - Got it. - It's same shit. - Body and learning. - Nice, you might've got slter-- - heroin, you wouldn't even know. - Oh no! - It's a devilish. - Secretly, yeah. - Never gonna see it. - Oh, back to where you're saying it. - Yes. - heroin, man. - Yeah. - I've never fallen asleep as a child and woke it up and someone's carrying you into the room. - Yeah. - Imagine, I feel like heroin would be that, but no one's holding me, and I could just keep flying away. - So the idea-- - It's what I thought. - I feel like it would be like that. - The idea of that doesn't do anything for me. - Oh, you never see Peter Pan? - No, Peter Pan's great. - Well, it's fly away like that, but it's my favorite. - Peter Pan's great, but like that just seems so disconnected from this reality. - Yeah. - No, but I think we have different brains. That's why, like, that's why the idea of like, a like, Adderold or like fucking super-uppers or fucking Coke or Kaffee. Like, then I'm like locked into reality. I'm not going nowhere. - Yeah, but when I was doing a lot of Coke, it was always watching myself from here. - Hmm. - I'm functioning, but I'm like, only they had changed from me with drugs. I might smoke more or talk a little more. - Okay. - Like, you don't know, like, that guy's on drugs, like, is he? Like, yeah, he's just a fucking eight line. It's like, oh wow, he's just sitting there. Nothing really changes, like, when a drug is just my smoke more. So I think for me, it's like, I just want to see what it's like. - Okay. - Yeah. - I had that same feeling with ayahuasca. - Me too. - I just want so bad. - I can feel, here's the thing, I want to talk to God is what I want to do, and I've done mushrooms I have full of times and-- - I know Aesus. - It was up? - I know what Aesus. - You do know Aesus. - Six more crosses. - You're right. - They're in joint, they're in joint. - Yeah. - But yeah, you must, like, Silasabin, I fucking love it. - Oh, you love mushrooms. - I love them. - Let's go. - Dude, that's the one, that's the one where I haven't, but I really want to microdose. I want to take a day, here's the problem with probably both of our schedules, maybe 100% both of our schedules. I don't have like, oh, I'm off today. - Never in life. - So, but that's, that I'm looking for that. - I'm looking for a full day where I can wake up and she's like, let me see how I am microdosing. Because I don't know. - I like it. I've tried microdosing like four times. - Great. - It's cool. - It's cool. - Microdosing is like, you're walking with converse. I mean, not on drugs, you're walking with converse. Microdosing is like those bouncy shoes you see when we were kids that we couldn't afford. - Ooh, I like these metaphors, yeah. Just like, oh, everything's a little fucking sicker up here. That's really microdosing. You're like, oh, it's a little brighter. I think I hear the birds more. So let me ask you this, cool. I don't like anything that like takes my like, my focus. Oh, like you can still like have a conversation and talk and think. - Yeah, yes. - But yeah. - But I have a conversation, but I'm also looking at myself over here. - You are while I'm talking. - And microdosing, what does that mean for you? How many grams is it? - Oh no, microdosing could be like a gram. - Just one gram, see I think. For me, I'm a super lightweight. I'm a super lightweight. Yeah, I'm thinking like literally like 0.3. - Try it. - And let's see where I'm at. - Dude, I think a lot of mushrooms, so. - You do. I mean, I pick big amounts when I do mushrooms. - When you do do mushroom. - How many grams? - Um, like sometimes like five or six. - Yeah, that's a better size. - I've done it 3.5, three, and I was. - But in a great way. - Yeah, the best way. - In the best way possible. I was gone like, oh, I'm on sales. But I don't want to live my life. I can't have a day like that. - Not the whole day. - No. - Coming back, trying to get out. I hate getting out of the trip. I'm like, yeah, I'm a shit I didn't do, my room's dirty. I got all this stuff to do, fuck. - Yeah, it's like taking a vacation when you're like, full, you're supposed to be at work? - I know. - Dude, yes. - Yeah, I get it. - Yeah, I think I'm like, oh. - Dude, I had this awful experience on mushrooms. I was with my girlfriend. We went to, we were in like a big bear. And we did, we've done mushrooms together, like three or four times, just incredible time. It's awesome. - Is this pretty fun? - This, this your experience about to say? - Yeah, maybe like a year ago. - Oh, fuck, okay. - Yeah, yeah, it's still fun. - So, yeah, very fresh. - So, take 3.5, fucking, you know, it's night, which I've never taken a night before, but I'm like, let's try it, whatever. So, when I'm, we're waiting for it to kick in, we're both hungry, right? So, we went to the grocery store before. So, I'm outside on, and we're in this nice Airbnb, I'm outside on this gas grill and I'm cooking. [BLANK_AUDIO] All of a sudden starts to fucking hit me, bro. And I'm outside in the complete darkness, in the forest, and I don't know this house. I've been in this house for an hour, and I'm out on someone else's porch, cooking on someone else's grill. And then I'm looking at the chicken, and I'm like, what chicken did this used to be? And I started, dude, and then I started looking to the darkness, I feel like I'm getting chased a bit. And then I, then I started thinking like, my girlfriend and my, I have just like a 11 pound chihuahua right inside the hill. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a mix, it's a mix, it's a mix. - Dude, and I'm not chihuahua, I'll be crazy. (laughing) - I'm a beast of a nation. - That's the first time someone asked me, like, called me out on that. Yeah, I always say 11 pound chihuahua, I don't know what's in anything. But, yeah, it's a mix, it's like a terrier in Chihuahua. So it's like, it makes sense, yeah, yeah. Anyways, so, but my family is inside. - Well, that's just YouTube? - That, I'm sorry? - No, no, no, no, no, I'm saying like, like, as I'm on psilocybin, I'm looking at them through the glass slider, and I'm like, my family's in there, and I'm providing for them. I'm cooking, I'm hunting, I'm cooking, then all this pavement shade, so I'm coming back. And then I'm like, and then I'm like, trying to provide such a heightened moment for my family, my hungry family, and I'm trying to flip this chicken, and then dude, you know how like with mushrooms, I can't keep track of the time, dude, and then she'll burn everything. But no, no, no, no, like, but I'm cooked, and I'm like, oh my god, like, and I had this over sensation, that if I don't get this right, then I failed my family, and that my girlfriend will be like, oh, he's gonna be a bad husband, and I am flipping out, dude. I'm fighting that there's wolves in the fucking, in the goddamn forest, okay? Then I can't see, it's pitch black. Cooking on another man's, in my head, I was like, this is another man's grill. What does that mean? You know, I'm flipping chicken that I have no fucking idea how long I've been cooking for. Then I think of an under-cooked that I'm gonna poison her, then she's gonna die, and then it was awful. It was fucking awful, and it was freezing, and I didn't bring my jacket, but I felt like I couldn't go inside, 'cause I was a failure if I didn't re-enter with food. It was awful. You got a caveman experience. Dude, caveman experience. It was a real shit though, yeah. It's how it goes. Dude, dude, dude, yeah, yeah. I just think it's really funny, because all those things are technically true. But the way you're sitting, it's like, I'm a master of the custodial arts. It's like, yeah, you really put a spin on that shit. Oh, you made it scary that it needs to be eaten. Dude, I know, but dude, if I wasn't so large, then it's like, how the fuck I'm just cooking chicken outside, and I'm fucking-- How did it come out? How was that? It came a good, I went a little more than I should because I was like, I don't want sickness. But also, I couldn't cut, I couldn't see, 'cause it wasn't ever-- Oh, I was going against me, dude. It was not in, and I learned in that moment that I cannot take them at night. I do not, I want to see-- That's the thing in the day. Dude, you're really missing out on this. Well, once here, with Josh, with Josh Wolf, I'm gonna be honest to eat a lot of mushrooms. He loves it. And I had a bad trip. We did three mushroom episodes. I had a bad trip once, and it was in the day. And I had to be driven home. Sucked. Dude, I, me, in my coast, in my podcast, stiff socks every Wednesday. Hey, now, Trevor Wallace, my home until I die, we went to Amsterdam and did a mushroom pod. And it was so goddamn fun. Do we did it in the-- In the park? Yes. Did they hit right? Did they-- They hit good. It was the same, huh? Not the same, but it was still good. We did the spores with a little-- Yes, yeah, yeah. I bought some too, but I was like, I'll take you. He's fucking-- Yeah, it was like, how do I say this? It felt like a synthetic. But it was good. It was good. But it was in a park. And local park-- who is a shit? It was in a fucking park. And there was tons of people around. And people were like cooking and all that stuff. And I had someone fun. And I told my producer, who wasn't on mushrooms. I was like, yo, you got to keep me focused. Because when I'm on mushrooms, all I want to do is roam. All I want to do is get up and start talking to motherfuckers and just looking at trees and talking to birds. I'm a wonder when I'm on mushrooms. You got to keep me focused. And every four minutes, buddy, we were sitting on the ground, our backs are on the tree. And we're talking about whatever. And every four minutes, I go, yo, yo, yo, yeah. Get him, get him, get his hips, get him, go. Get him, get him, yeah, I got him, yeah, I got him. He goes, so he goes, blow, blow, sit down, man. He was talking to me, like, I was four years old. But I just-- I needed to know-- I needed to know two things. There was a couple, and they were talking. And I needed to know what they were talking about. For some reason, for some reason. And there was two women on-- There's a lot of cooking in these fucking stories. But two women cooking on like a public grill, whatever. And I couldn't see what they were cooking. He didn't know. And talk, I needed to. And like, the most silly kid-like way. I was dying laughing, so I gave, gave, gave. Further, what did they cook, bro? Can you look for me? I needed to know in a kid way. But yeah, so I don't even know what the fuck I'm saying. Oh, they were sending a podcast. I've only done a podcast with one time on Still Sobbinger. It was very, very fun. But it was outside. I want to see outside on the mushroom. You're crazy for not only doing that. I don't know what places you shouldn't do. Like, go outside, but a night. No. Dude, you can-- Like, it's like the first time-- Very before, I never know. No, it's not, dude. The first, it's the only place to do mushrooms is outside. You can literally-- I know it. It sounds like I'm joking, but I'm day serious. Like, you can literally talk to trees. Oh, yeah. I watch the stomachers grow. Dog in the most energetic way. Like, I'm like, this sounds like I'm a fucking shaman. But like, I'm literally, we're transferring energy. I'm talking to it. Like, it's real. So, to the tree, you have an accent. What's up? To the tree, you have an accent. Black dude, I don't know why. Oh, yeah. Yeah, from Buffalo. I don't know. Fuck. Marry's from Buffalo. You sell like Buffalo, and I'm marty. It's not like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. There's a hole. The tree from Pope the Hanna's, the lady. I did a show one time, and all the ladies look like the tree from Pope the Hanna's. They're all 90 years old. I don't like that at all. Yeah, I'm meeting either. They're like me either. Why can't I see-- Why can't I remember the tree from-- From tree to dark. It's all creepy and speaks to Pope God's side. Can you bring it up? Just old face. What about Stearnut yourself in the mirror, Walter? Amazing. Can't do it. My favorite thing. Can't do it. I love it. I know what I look like at 90. Yeah, yeah. Fucking bad. Dude, no. I look sick as fuck. I look like Mara Lopez, but not as pretty. It's pretty cool. There. Everyone look at that on the tree. Oh, yes. Oh, I'm young. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah, yeah. Wow. Wow. OK, I didn't-- I couldn't get a vision. I couldn't get a vision on it. Yeah, I couldn't get a vision on it. But yeah, dude, just do me a favor next time you do. I'll jump the dead. Just-- I have so much. I was going to say noon o'clock. Am I drunk? No one's in there. Dude, don't do this. Dude, if you put, like, H in here, I would literally purchase. If you imagine it, I would. Dude, oh, yeah, I get it now, I get it now. My mom's carrying me. Oh, it was never my mom's a dick. I just remember somebody picking me up and going, wow. This is cool. Oh, fuck, wow. We tend to be asleep more, so I don't have to walk. But I will say, dude, the worst ever as a kid, we would, like, drive-- we would, like, vacation at the beach, like, local beach in Maryland. And we would drive it all night, whatever. It's, like, probably wasn't that late, but I was, like, 10. So it was, like, 11 p.m. probably. In that moment, we have to get woken up after that card snooze as a kid. Into the car. No, just get out of the car. I'm, like, that feeling of, like, all right, Michael, wake up. I'm, like, the idea of, like, opening a car door as an 11-year-old after that snooze is crazy. It's funny, because I know exactly what you're talking about, too. Yeah, of course. It was the worst. It was the worst. It was the worst. But the reason I bring it up is, my mom would carry me in. I was like, 11. Don't play-- I mean, it's crazy. Michael, get your fucking life together. You're about to drive. [LAUGHTER] Yeah, you have your learners for me, you bitch. So we grew up in Maryland. Here's our good kid in school or no? We're getting trouble of ton. I wouldn't know. Well, I mean, it's, like, it's the bounce, right? It's just, like, I think a lot of people would go, I was getting in trouble a lot. That means you got bad grades. I got a slightly above average grades, but get in trouble a lot. Are you talking about, like, I'm funny getting in trouble? Or, like, I might still drugs getting in trouble? Both. OK. Both. I got in trouble toned for just being an idiot. And that was, like, just huge class tons. Anything to make anybody laugh, like I would do it, and I, you know, get in trouble. And I went to a private school, so I get in trouble, like, a motherfucker. Even worse. Even worse. Yeah. But I was, like, a athlete getting in trouble that way. And then when I was a senior, I started out of nowhere. It's also straight edge. Like, I played basketball, whole life, never smoked, never drank, whatever, because it, you know, I had to go to practice or whatever. But when I was a senior, I was such a businessman. I was like, I'm selling weed, like, I need money. Like, not for like, oh, I want it so we need to do it. I'm like, this is not, like, some Pablo Escobarcer. It's like, I want to do this because I understand, I understand market value of weed. So, like, I met this dude, like, a piece of shop that he told me he could get me weed. If I was interested, I was like, yeah, fuck it. Let's do it. And I started selling weed in high school, which is like, it would be like, think about like a Mormon just being like, hey, man, you want weed, you like, you sell weed, bro? But yeah, I just started. So I was a combo, like, getting in trouble, like, funny wise, class clown wise, but also, So I never got in trouble for sound the weed. - It's your kid at it. - I was pretty good. I got held up twice, so I wasn't that good. - My cops? - No. - Oh, you got robbed, you're too trusting that you were good at it. - So here's the funny thing, very long story short. The dude that robbed me, actually this is just fucking story sound stage, but the guy who robbed me, I'm pretty sure he was like a novice in robbing because he put the gun to my, I can still feel it, but he put the gun to my ribs. It was like, give me all this shit. And I was like, I literally, I don't know why I was this calm, which is maybe I'm a psycho, but I was like, man, I don't have it. Like, you think I left it all on my trunk 'cause he saw it earlier than I did. I go, you think I left it on my trunk? You're crazy, bro. Like, you can look if you want, but it's not there. And he goes, and I was like, move it a little bit. He goes, Joe, you're gonna grab, he thought I was gonna get a gun. I was like, bro, I play golf. Like, I don't have a fuck, I literally, I play golf, I don't have a gun. And go, you're crazy. I, the drugs on here, I don't have a gun. Like, you can look if you want, I don't have it. And I, he, he was in panic and just fucking bounced. All the drugs were in the trunk. - For sure they were. - All of them. - All of them. - All of them. Four pounds in a trunk coulda robbed me, didn't look. - 'Cause you're convincing, dude. Yeah, you're like, are you fucking stupid? Do you think I have that? - Yeah. - Oh, man. - The whole, like, you couldn't look if you want. I think that was a thing. - Yeah. - I'm like, why don't I, like, go look. What do you think you just have four pounds on your lap? - You think I'm gonna leave it in my trunk. It's been five hours since I saw you. He coulda got it. - I honestly do. I only saw weed to people I knew or people I knew that I could be like, hey, if something happens, I'm gonna fucking, it's your fault. - Well, this is part of the story. I picked up from my connect in DC. I'm from Maryland, DC area. I was living in South Carolina and going to college at the time. I drove all the way down to Maryland to pick it up. And I picked it up, or DC. I picked it up, and you see, and my buddy from high school hit me up, like maybe an hour after I had it, he goes, yo, can I get whatever? And I go, I go, yeah, it's not slid up and weighed out yet, but I can meet you there. So I can eat it 'cause I knew him. I met him at his place, and his cousin was with him. So when I opened the trunk, the cousin saw everything. And then four or five hours later, my buddy from high school hit me up. I was like, yo, my cousin wants to buy an ounce or whatever. And I was like, okay, cool. Met his cousin in a fucking park, like an idiot at like 1112. And that's what happened. So he saw that I had all of it. So I was down to someone I know, but it was like, - Yeah, it was a chase. - But it was never happened. - It should have never done. - It should never have. - No. - Your only nose is because it's a piece of shit. - Yeah, oh, and I call my buddy non-stop for like four hours after that, he finally picked up. And I was like, dude, what the fuck you doing? His cousin got on the phone and goes, yo, I know where you live. And I go, all right, and I literally hung up the phone 'cause he did know where I lived. And he knew where my, like now where I lived in the, he knew where my mom's house was. And I was like, I'm not gonna get my mom implicated in this shit. - It's only four pounds. I'm not a cartel. - Oh, all right. I didn't know. Yeah, I think you just said. - Yeah, no, I totally get it. But it's like not worth to like, oh, yeah, it's not even worth it. - But oh, he didn't even, he didn't even rob me. The, the, the bit is his truth. He was trying to buy an ounce, he gave me like 50 extra dollars whatever, and I was counting his change. - And then he tried to rob you? - And then he gave me the money. - Buddy, buddy, buddy. No, no, he tried, hold on, he gave me the money, he gave me too much money, I was counting his change. He, then he takes out a gun, the whole story after that. And then he gets so spooked, he left. He took the drugs, but left the money. I made money. - I'm sad. - You sold him a zip, I got a gun pulled on you. - Yeah. - But no, but I-- - Incredible. - I made money, 'cause he left the change. - Did he get a change? (laughs) - He must've been so mad at me. - That was so pissed, bro. - No, I think he got, he got taxed. - He got, he got, yeah, he got, but if he had a gun and he like, I robbed him. - Yeah. - It's incredible. - It's wild. - Yeah. - Like, you know, how good I am at talking? - I want. - Yeah. - Incredible. - Incredible. - Yeah, no, we talked about the recent, the only time I ever almost got around was much gags, but not as fun as that. - Once again, it's scary. - Yeah, but that's way more fun. The fact that you made money on it is way more fun. - It is crazy. - So sick. - I mean, what? But, see, I feel for that guy. 'Cause he was probably freak the fuck out. And he was like, oh shit, I did all this for no reason, let me get the fuck out here. - Well, it was a sense of weed I've ever bought. - I mean, dude. - Right? - Yeah. - Did you say it was two times, you got robbed? - Um, I got robbed that time and I got shot at in no time. - Oh, I got robbed once. - For what the fuck? - Oh, that's, that's, that's, that's, over weed. - Over weed. - All over weed. - All over a couple of pounds, that's it. - Yeah. - I got, well, the first time, well here's how dumb I am. I got shot at and I kept going. - Like to the next job? - No, no, no, no, I'm saying I kept selling. - For sure. - And then that didn't make me, the, the rob didn't make me quit. What happened is I went back whatever months later, back to DC to pick up again. And my connect was being so weird on the phone. And he's like, yo, when are you coming, man? - Is he a college kid? - No, no, no, no, no, no, he was an older guy. And he's like, yo, when are you coming? And I'm like, oh man, I'll be there in a second. And he goes, like when, like when are you coming? Like so weird? That like, all my whole gut, I was like, nope. And I just didn't show up. He just kept, he was just being super weird. And I'm like, oh, I'm, he's either gonna rob me or there's cops or something. And so I drove this six hours from South Cunt and didn't pick it up. And as I'm dropping back, I'm like, bro, what the fuck am I doing? What am I doing? Like get a job, look a normal person. I'm gonna fuck my whole life up for like, you know, a little, it's not a little bit, but like, it's not like life changing money. - It's always fluctuating to 3,000 down, 3,000 down. I made a couple of pounds, money on this pounds. And I sold a bunch of ounces. I made a couple of racks. It's nothing like, I can't go buy a car off these. - No, no, no, it's like, it's, yeah. - It's not enough to be scared of all time. - Right, that's what I was saying. It's like, it's enough to like, oh, it's cool 'cause you get to go to the bar and buy everyone's shots or whatever, but like, you're not, like I'm not saving for a home. Like, what am I doing? - Yeah. - Yeah. And so that was the last time when I was like, I could have went to jail. He was being so weird, dude. I remember him. - Yeah, no, no, no. I told him, only reason I started selling the weeks, I was like, this shit's not worth it anymore. It's California prices, everything just went to shit. And I was like, I'm done, dude. Like, make $3,000 on like, $40,000, $50,000 a week is the dumbest. Stupid. - I've ever done. - Stupid, now you smoke weed on camera. It's much better. - Oh my god, I remember like, I had so much weed in the trunk in a rental, a red rental without a state plates. - Bob! - The Chaco Pass in Santa Cruz, the drug fucking area. And I'm like, this is it, and if this is it, this is my fucking fault. And I'm driving and I'm like, I'm just gonna let it join anyway. Fuck it if I'm done, I'm done. And I'm like, this is the, and that's what I realized. Like, this is not, I made nothing. - Yeah. I can't do this anymore. - Yeah. It's just, I love some of these though. I love going to, where do you need it, Alex? - Eh, eh, I love it, dude. I don't know what, like. - No, no, no, do it, do it, do it in the math. - Bro, bro, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it, do it. - The, the business acumen of it is so fun. It like hits all my ADHD, it's like. - Yeah. - Organized stack. - Organized stack, like vacuum seal, make sure everything's thing, you have it all, backpack, whatever. My favorite thing was just have it. Now we're all gonna go jail. But my favorite thing was having it pre-sold. I felt like a fucking geez. - Oh, yeah. - I would have, I would have all of it pre-sold. And then when I drove, I'm like, yo, everyone meet me at the blah, blah, blah. And literally just here, here, here, here. And it would be gone. - The best thing. - I would make the one, two, three, tan, whatever it was. And then about, and then I have nothing on me. It was like the best thing. - It was like, and your money's organized. You're the fucking man. 'Cause there are people would be like, yo, here's a $3,000 in 20s and 5s. - Yeah, and there's like, where is it? - Where is it? - Where is it at least? - Yeah, like dudes, they're crumbled, it's crumbled? - Yeah, the crumbled. - People are like, yo, here. It's all facing the same way. I'm like, thank you, 'cause I was gonna do that anyway. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - You know what I love, honestly, when they would put it in like a freezer bag. They put it in a freezer bag. - A stack. - A stack. - I would love that, man. - The best thing I ever do is why we from Asian dudes, every 1,000, they put 100 the opposite. So stacks, stacks, stacks, thousand hundred opposites. That's that hundred opposites. So they, oh, one, two, three, four, five, that's five stacks. Oh, man. It was a great. - Dude, the Asian world is just great. Boom, back over the old way. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I get it. Oh, I get it. I never received money like that, but I get it. That's awesome. - First time I did, I went. You guys made explosives, you guys are smart. You guys made up your gunpowder, dude. That's why, like, there's no other way. - Gunpowder and opium, dude. - They're the coolest. - You love the Asian world. - I'm supposed to be. I watch, well, I love rush hour. - Love rush hour, rush hour, rush hour. So what do y'all kick me? - What happened when they shot you though? - Speaking of gunpowder, like. - What's up? - Speaking of gunpowder. - What happened when they shot you? - They were trying to rob you? - Nothing that shot at me. Like trying to rob you or just trying to get out of here. - No, dude. I picked it up from a different, excuse me, a different connect. I was in my buddy's black Jeep Cherokee. I remember this succinctly. I picked up and I was just fucking, it didn't seem, no one was like pissed or whatever, but as I am leaving, there was some skirmish. Maybe I just missed the thing, but they started to shoot at me and they skimmed the side mirror or whatever the fuck and I had to explain to my buddy what happened and I had to pay for a fucking mirror. But it didn't break the mirror, but it skimmed like the top. You can see like a little bullet. Through the time that sucks. Yeah, I mean that's why I stopped using his connect But I probably should have kept using them because the other one's trying to get me fucking clip to whatever the hell of the term is Man, man, the wire man. Yeah, the wire yeah, I was probably five six and white the wire Yeah, what's up Chubby Chase Maryland most affluent fucking place. Hey, that's okay Why you go say yeah, you ever see the wire? Yeah, so if you look my pizza jar God damn big one bringing me back No, I get my bags on me and then I would just smash around town get to my drop drop the pizza off and then get over there Faster to sell weed and come back and I would just smoke weed the whole time I made so much money on my routes more than I ever made it work It was so full. Yo, I have this and I have that and people would like damn me No, my sister's a fan that's fucking blank like, but it's like but now the card market's kind of fucked If I if I I should have sold high me too, that's all good We talked about it recently. I was shit faced during the pandemic with my friends I have a car collection and I'm like yes, I don't like cards. Let me show you some show I had unopened X-Men packs from like 1994 fuck. We busted them open I hit the fucking one and eight thousand pack gold Wolverine Got it. It is back to shit three He's part Tony on the right three when you're when you're hitting the the airplane level You're a big Tony Hawke Just video games in Tony Hawk. He's awesome. We had him here one time. We got him really fucked up But he didn't get high. He was just in the room and I can say it. Oh, dude if you if y'all started smoke I would get high dude. I did whatever a year ago. What are the fuck? I got so Sorry Going back did a weed show and just Just being in the room the ambers or what the fuck word I'm looking for? I was like I was on stage and I'm like oh fuck you know I could tell like a little high this is weird like my my legs Start feeling tickly. Yeah, okay. Thank you for knowing what I'm talking about When I was when I was first started smoking I would know that I'd be so I'd be I'd be like, guys, guys, my legs are tickling, bro. And then I would go in this really high-pitched voice and everybody would be like, yo, do your high voice. And I'd be like, shuddy, shuddy, shuddy. (laughing) My shit would go like, fuck, that's close to it, dude. It would go up, non-actives. What was my point? Oh, but I was doing stand-up and I was like, fuck, my legs started tinging. I was like, oh, no, bro. I got a ghetto. I can't do stand-up, like I can't walk high. Like I need, I can't. It's so funny, dude, I can't smoke a pound, right? I just got high one time before I said, I will never do it again. It's awful, dude. It's, I went out there with, ah! Yeah, what am I, what am I supposed to say? What was my say? You know, I had a dreaded energy water and went, thank God, I put notes on my phone. And it was open, thank God. I'm gonna do it again. Here's the problem, I've never done it. I've never done, like, hi, hi. Dude, if I smoked before, I just wouldn't go. I just wouldn't go. I just, I would cancel the fucking show. But the idea, I can imagine myself on stage, hi, and the idea of, like, having this thought of me, like, wow, this is a lot of people that I'm responsible for. - Well, you went back into the most groups, I'm providing and for chicken. - Not even providing, but just, like, oh, I could, like, if I fuck up a word, like, this is a problem. And that is, like, that is turned completely off, and we stand up for so long. I don't even think about that anymore. You know, people, you know, there's a lot of people, like, I don't even, who fuck it? I don't think about that. I just, you do your set and whatever. But I think of how high I would really, get really micro-focus on that. Dude, I did, I did stand up one time when I was on Hatterall. It was the worst thing that's ever happened to me. - I wouldn't say Hatterall wants to do much to me. - It floors me. - What's supposed to do? - It, it, it just makes you hyper-focus. - Oh, you didn't like that. - No, because stand up for me, I'm not thinking. I'm like, I'm just in the zone. I'm riffing. Like, the best way to describe it is, like, Hatterall, like, goes like this and makes you super-focused on like, if you're like editing, or you're like painting, or whatever the fuck you're doing. But stand up for me, like, I need blinders off. I need to just be able to riff. And there's like, I can't, like, whatever. But it, it, I'll, it shuts that part of my brain off. So it was awful. Like, this set was fine because I just stuck to the fucking script and I wasn't fucking around. But it was, it was, it was awful for me because I just was too locked in. And that's the opposite I wanna be your stand up. I'm such a lightweight dude that like, before I will, it happens very rarely, but maybe like, one tip, like, fucking six months, I have one at a roll at my house. And it's a time-released one. So what I will do, 'cause I don't really like parties, but sometimes you have to go, right? What I do is I literally put like two or three, four beads, you know what the fucking, you know what I mean? The time really says it's a little tiny beads in me too, don't I'm talking about? - No, but keep going. - Okay, there's like, just, yeah, just imagine like, tiny little beads in it in a pin. - Oh, like in the coxies. - I don't know what an oxy is, but you are in the Bakers field. So you probably know. - Yeah, exactly. - No, no, I've watched it many times that you got to rub off the time release. And he had a little piece of wet nap, 'cause I saw it hits you right away. - Oh, okay. - There's a drug addict. - Okay. - It's just, whatever, it's just like a tiny, like a thousand like tiny balls in the time list, right? So what I do, you're supposed to take the whole thing and it's supposed to time release in your body. - You win little bead. - Okay, I'm literally keeping my three or four beads. This is how much this fucks me up. I'm thinking three or four beads, licking my finger and taking three or four beads and going like this before the party and it's perfect. It's perfect because I'm not locked in, but I'm enjoying conversations with people that I would normally hate. - Oh, that makes sense. - That's me, anywhere. I would love that. - Oh, yeah. - Do you get all this? - No, you, fuck. I don't know. - I don't mean anywhere that's not my house. - Yeah. - Where the bunch of people I've never met 'cause I always assume everybody's gonna be rude and I'm like, do we have to fight now? - Yeah. - I don't want, I shouldn't have been here. - The rude thing made me, for me, it's just like everyone's boring to me. So I'm just like, I'm stuck in a fucking M like dude. I don't want to do this, man. - I thought it was me. - You're from Vermont? Who gives a fuck? - I feel like four years from Vermont. You say that? It's so funny. - Yeah, but I'm just-- - I'm like four guys from Vermont. What's there? - Yeah. - But what when I'm on three or four beads? - Oh, you're from Vermont? - Oh, walk me through that. Like, what the hell is that? Like because that's kind of a small place. Do you feel, do you feel like a bigger person or do you feel like a small, like how's your personality? Do you think you're, do you think your state resembles your pro, like I'm locked in. - You're a bigger. - I got your stuff in a swamp. (laughing) - I did that, I don't know, dude. That's so fun. - Yeah, yeah. But it's fun, it's fun. - Well, I always felt like a piece of shit going, yeah, everyone's broke, I'm bored. I thought I was just an asshole. Like, Malcolm in the middle, and he's always bored. I'm like, I'm not smart like that. Why am I bored? A deep, I didn't get it. - Yeah, I just-- - I still wanna be at any party going. Where are you from? - Well, that's the problem. But like, but I find like one, and I hate it, bro. But once I like work, like most people are chill. You just have to get through that first 10 minutes of conversation, all talk bullshit. - But when I am, when I'm just regular in life, it's so fucking hard for me to do that. I don't wanna do that, man. - At the store, I wanna do that. - I wanna talk to funny people like this. I wanna fuck around. But it's like, it's really hard for me, just to be like, whoa! - Don't you feel like that? - H, you're a block! - I feel like such a dick, dude. I feel like such an asshole. When I think about it, I don't want to talk right now. - Do you have kids? - I don't. - Wait till you have kids, it's the, I mean that's your life. - I'm at eight days! - I'm at eight days! - I'm at eight days! - I'm at eight days. - I'm at eight days! - I'm at eight days! for themselves. - I mean, they probably kid Uber it or whatever, right? - It's so sad. - Yeah, you're looking at them. - Imagine. - Yeah. - What do you mean? - What do you mean? He said, "Takes Kiss." - Yeah, they don't. - Three different schools. - Yeah, for some reason, we don't have school buses, so you gotta like, you gotta drop. - Just school buses, the rich part of LA, or rich part of Southern California. - Every day. - They have every parent. - They don't have public school buses. - Flood the neighborhood. Manually, pick up these kids one by one. - We have no dual income basically, 'cause one parent can't work. You have to pick up your fucking kids every day. - They can't drop them off. - It's wild. - I mean, I want to private so that makes sense. - What does that look like? - How many kids in your class? - I mean, in elementary school, there's probably maybe like 35, 40. - Of the whole grade? - Of my whole grade. In elementary, in like, first to eighth grade. But that's like pretty normal for a lifetime. - You catch a nickname, it doesn't go away like that. - No. - Fuck, man, the same 35 kids. - Everyone would always be like, "Yo, big dick, my." - Yeah. - Yeah. - It was, might always run with aggit, it was like, "Hey, I'm like, "I'm pretend I didn't hear the beginning." - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - But they say in Spanish, I'm like, "What?" - Come on soon, DJ! - Tell my grandma, I don't know what you say. - But growing up in a private school must have been kind of cool. I was mentioned as Bernie Mac. It's only private school knowledge I have. - It was. - Jordan at Bernie Mac. - I think my private school was different, 'cause when it was co-head, a lot of the private schools around the neighborhood, not co-head, so it was co-head. And we always would say like, it's as close you can get to a public school, but it was private. So it wasn't like, you know, there was wealthy people there, fucking cool people, it was like a, you know, smorgasbord of people. So it was, you know, we had to wear uniforms and whatever, but it was like, "Oh, shit, like a dick." - Yeah, I know, yeah. - I was wondering what that would be like. I always feel like I'd be like the fucking president of a tech company or something. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a lot of those. - Yeah, yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah, I mean, I mean, we're from Maryland, right? So there's like tons of like politicians, obviously that live in Maryland to New Zealand, you see. So, so, a lot of those private schools, like we would go to parties and stuff and fucking, you know, I can't even think of a fucking positive. But like, the congressman's kid would be there and there'd be like a weird sick conservatory agency. - All the drugs would do. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Rich kids, when the parents are not there, when parents aren't there with nursing kids, you get a gangster, you get a politician that's not there, you get a fucking drug addict. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Hey, at least I'll sell the drugs to him eventually. - Dude, that was a big part of my high school market. - Yo, you had such a motherfucking cool life on the other side of the country, Mario, imagine that and like, yeah, go to private school. He challenges common stereotypes about American obesity by highlighting the physical size of people in Hawaii’s Simoan region, attributing it to evolutionary and metabolic factors.
