Welcome back you fucking slur. Thank you for joining us. My name is Rudy Raymour. And I'm Aja Wilson and this is the read. Summer isn't over yet. Zara Larson. Yes, here we are, still in mum Donnie's July, wrapping it up here and every clip, every clip that I got from big Donnie, I'm just like, how much more can I love him? Yeah, he's pretty great. He's pretty fucking great and again got the girlies. Shuck, socialists are crawling out from every crevice and saying, what if people had things? Yeah. And not just in New York. Right. Exactly. If y'all really wanted to, yeah, you're in conservative piss everywhere. Welcome back. Let's get things started with our usual judge. We're going to do some black excellence really quickly. This week black excellence goes to an amazing young boy in Florida. You guys know, I love, you know, I love when good stories come out of that place. He has many as miracles, this week your goes to an 11 year old named Nehemiah, Nehemiah Turner, quick pause, love the name immediately, love it, great name, biblical name, classic name, yeah, love the name Nehemiah, yeah, starting off strong. He's been able to rack up 100 hours of reading to animals at the Jacksonville Humane Society, out Duval County. Okay. So the JHS has something they call the positive reading program. And I think it's a relatively new program, but Nehemiah has been there reading to pets for the past two years. He is a straight A student and I kind of had to shake off a bit of energy here. I'm reading to some people.com and they have these two photos right under that line of him reading and it's just this little black boy on the ground, dog behind glass. And they just looking like, because you know what pets at a shelter, one company, they just want to hang out. If not an actual adoption, right. So here he is reading these books and there's even one dog in this picture, that's like looking at the book like, and that one girl, what? Goodness, like the dog is, so I was like, okay, let me scroll real quickly because feelings. There's things I love, it's happy, safe, black children and dogs. Okay. Nice. So I thought this was an amazing story. He was interviewed by local news outlets and they asked him how it felt. He said soothing, feels good, calm, comforted animals. It's not like a whole bunch of barkings happening. So Nehemiah said, I step into the room and the girls know what time it is. Like my energy rings. Okay. Right. Right. Right. Exactly. Sounds like a little icon. Next, he said, well, 110 hours, 150 hours, 200 hours, as if like, what did you, what did you think? I was just going to keep reading to the dogs because it's fierce. Yeah. I have straight A's like, don't at me. Why are you screaming? And the folks obviously over at the Jacksonville Humane Society, love it. This why man in a clip I watched was like, two years, a hundred hours. Maybe wonders never cease. This is so great. So shout out to one Florida, Nehemiah Turner, a name with power. Yeah. I agree. Because you said it with that Turner and I was like, I was giving Ike a period, a revolutionary for the people, for the, for the innocents, for the vulnerable. I do honestly love that. And now I need to look up like, who is reading to dogs in New York City? And when can I drop off Laney? You just let me know. Why Ike before that. Oh my God, I was thinking that I was like, well, oh no, wrong turn of God damn, sorry, I'm in it. Well, because what? It's a story. I don't know. Turner, right. Never mind. Hey, you just let me talk. I was waiting. I felt bad. Not Turner in my bed. Slow your fingers down, y'all. I'm in it. Of course, the people listening to this were like, girl, she met her. It's personal. My bad. Um, so let's get things started with our pop culture segment that we call hot tops. Where I get into the fuck, Ray, I want to talk about some more individual fun, interest, that was great. What is a good name for that, like the hot top section where we talk about things we want to talk about. Yeah. I came up with something wack ass name with it a couple of months ago, but I forgot what it was. Oh, damn. Like hot, hot tops and life. I can't say. I'm talking goofy. Banana. What? Oh no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's not it. We'll think of something. Have you? Okay. First of all, uh, shout out to David Johnson, Ryan Kugler over there working on Black Panther. Oh, yes, we did. We did. Um, we did see that. That was announced. Yeah. Over there at San Diego Comic Con. I don't understand why I still have not been to SCCC. That's DCC when San Diego is like two hours. Why? Next year, maybe. Also though. Comic conventions. Mustang. Over. Okay. Um, I was going to say overwhelming. Oh. But. Sorry. You know, that can be overwhelming too. Right. That would be what got me out of there. Yeah. It's only so much fun. I can stand. Um. But yes, I am very excited about that. I'm very, very thrilled. Um, I will discuss more of that at another segment of the show. Okay. Have you seen a trailer for Children of Blood and Bone? I have not. I've only seen the drama around it. Okay. Well, let's get forward to the trailer. That's the afternoon. Okay. Okay. You said, I don't care who ain't involved no more. I will be seated for this movie. That lady says she's not going to see that movie. Right. And let me say this. I. Feel her. And I feel for her. I'm dead ass because. I'm being so serious. Because you're really going to set up why you still going. Phone. Yeah. She. Okay. Let me do it there. I want to see if you still think it's funny. I feel hurt because the end is, that's just kind of how it is. You can write a book. You can write a screenplay for it. Yeah. Once you sell it to a studio or have you, they could do whatever the fuck they want to. They can. They can. And you're not directing it either. They could do whatever the fuck they want to with the movie. Yeah. So I, I understand the frustration that can come with that. Um, and it likely does. I don't know if I, if there's been more to it. If she's kind of like expanded on her frustrations. Um, but I immediately assumed that they were creative. Yeah. So I feel her on that respect. At the same time, I'm going to go see the movie because it looks fantastic. And I want to support this because I want to see more of it. And it's very, very clear that they put a. FD. A hefty amount of cash in this bitch. Oh, no. Because it's giving. The effects are affecting everybody name. My mother might be in this movie. Like everybody is in it. Cynthia Reeveau, Idris Elba, Viola Davis, Damson Idris, Amanda Steinberg, Regina King is in it. Everybody's in this movie. So budget for the cast alone. Right. But then I'm looking at the hair that I'm looking at the production design. I'm looking at the costuming that I'm looking at the special effects. And I know what the book series is about. I'm going to go see this movie because I. Unless the author is saying, look. I was groped or something against my like moral compass. I really want to support this movie because. I think we need to support this movie the same way I wanted the girls go out and see one of them days. I love boosters, sinners. What was the big black one? There was one right before I love boosters that we all went to go see. Feel like I'm forgetting another black movie bed job. - Oh, it's got his. - Right, right. That's all I feel about this. Unless someone's gonna come forward to me like, let me tell you about this fucking nightmare and who belongs in jail. - Right, right. - It looks fantastic. I love the books. I really want for this to have a payoff, especially if the movie be actually deserves it. I want the box office to show it. I want Niggas to understand by Niggas. I mean crackles. - Right. - To understand. - I don't, I don't do that. - Right. You see each of the. - We do. - Move around. So yeah, girl, watch the trailer. The movie looks really fierce. - Well, so the author did say, I don't mind if y'all go see it. I just am separating my name from it. So I just Googled it and found it. So she don't have no problem with y'all. She probably still getting a cut of the box office. - Of course. (laughs) So she said, yeah, don't see it. - Why do you think that? - I'm going to see you y'all. - Why do you think Joe and Kay won't shut her ass up? 'Cause every time you buy Harry Potter gummies. - Oh, yes. - That's a, um. - She'll be receivable. - She'll be receivable, fortunately. - She cashes in, right. - Yeah. - So. - Well. - I'm sure she was going to get super paid too, but. - This might be one of them ones where I buy a ticket and don't go, 'cause-- - And don't go. - Children of blood and bones sound like it's going to have a lot of blood and bones in it. - It's actually like a young adult novel. It's more about, like, magic and your book culture and-- - There's no violence. - I mean, when people fight, but it's not going to be bloody. - Oh, really? - I don't imagine it's going to be too bloody. - Hmm, interesting. I've also not read the book, so I don't know what happens. See, right. Now you just say it. You should read the book. Read the first book. I think you'd like it. - Hmm. You know, the book, I'm looking, I'm skimming it on Wikipedia and the book actually does sound good. - It's really good. It's hugely popular. - I'm not letting you. - No, I've had years to read this and just never have. So, but a lot of people compared it to other fantasy type stuff. - Yeah. - You know, the Hunger Games. And that's what I'm really not a fan of fantasy. I'm really not. What was that one TV show? Was it HBO and everybody just loved it? And I was like, "Lovecraft Country." - Oh. - I could not. - I don't know what your wasn't really fantasy. It was like a horror thriller. - Oh, but natural. - Yeah, okay. Maybe that's the thing that I didn't. - I think fantasy, I think of like Game of Thrones. Like magic and drags and maybe elves and stuff like that. That's kind of what this is, but in Africa, African lens. - Got you, yeah. - So like Oresha's and all of these different elements of your above culture. And then it's like magic was taken away from us. But now you can bring the magic bit. - Oh, yeah. - I think like a readbook. - Okay, yeah. And then y'all let me know about this movie if I can handle it. But let me see if the rating is. - Children of sh*t. - I'm sure it's going to be like EG 13. - Mm, mm, mm. - I don't know. That sound like. - Well, we all have blood. - Don't we? And it needs to stay on the inside. - That's where it belongs. And it needs to remain in there. - I don't know if the rating comes out, but I guarantee you it's going to be EG 13. I highly, in fact, if it was R, I feel like I'd have heard by now. - Oh, yeah. - If it was going to be R. - Yeah. Well, it does not have a rating yet. So we'll see. - I'm certain this movie is going to be EG 13. I think. - I think that makes sense. - Check the book out. - Yeah. - I mean, it's young, it's YA. So, yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Okay. - Yeah. - Well, you let me know what you think. I love the books. - Mm-hmm. - And that's another thing. - It deserves to get all of it. Here goes the next one. Here goes the next movie. - Oh, bitch. - What's his name, James Cameron? Can I have 18 blue polka-honest movies? - True. - Shut your ass and open your wallet. - Can and do. That's right. - The owners of a Switch, I think Switch 2. Splatoon Raiders, that's all I'm going to say. Worth the bucket. And at this point, you can go ahead and get the Nintendo Switch 2. I told you girls, I was also going to be honest with you. Listen, anybody got time for no motherfucking games and splurging and too much treacherous self. Especially not for no $500 game. - Right. And it's still $500, damn. - So I'm not gonna tell you girls to go pick it up. Pokemon Polkaopia was where I was like, okay, niece. (laughs) Okay, niece. We might be good. It was, this Splatoon Raiders and Donkey Kong and Pokemon Polkaopia, might as well just go ahead and grab one when you can. Gamers. - Oh. - Also, I think you would get a kick out of Tomodachi life and we're crossing as a Switch 2 update, but I think you would get a kick out of Tomodachi life too. - Okay. Well, I just Google Splatoon Raiders and it looks like if the-- - You won't like that one. - If the LOL dolls were doing fighting games, so I don't know what to do. - Right. (laughs) - No, so Splatoon is like a longstanding Nintendo IP and if you're little squidlings. - Squidlings? - Squidlings. (laughs) - I think they're called inklings, whatever. They're little people, they look like little, you know, LOL dolls, but they also like have the ability to turn into little squids when they turn. Like paint stuff, they spray paint all over the place and then they can swim through the paint. And it's typically like a competitive game. Like a team of maybe four, try to have the most paint on a map. I could never get into it. - I got you, so Splatoon of paint. - I guess. - Yeah. - I got you. - Yeah, whatever. - Okay. - It's very, very cute. Kids like it, I could never get into it outside of really liking the art direction and thinking they're cute. This is a game that single player, where you take your little inkling squid man, Bob Squeeze. You dress him up and you go out into these little worlds and you get loot and you collect stuff and you kill these little fish monster thingies and you get loot and you use the loot and you make new weapons. It's a really cute game. Lots of fun. So nerds out there, if you're interested in like on the fence for the Switch2, maybe have a little in your pocket waiting for the right time. She's up right now. - Okay. - She's kind of up right now, just saying. - Okay, I mean, they do, it is $500, but they do give you a download code and you can pick one of these games. Out of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong, you can pick one of those three. - Pocopia, Donkey Kong. One of the two, depending on what you want. If you want one of those animal crossing stuff, things where you just kick back and it's like, I forgot I have to turn this off because my Pokemon Center was built and I just moved in a bit. You know, all of that other shit that we did with the Animal Crossing Dirk quarantine. - Yeah. - If you want something a little bit more adventurous and fun and carefree and decompressing? - Yeah, why not? - Donkey Kong, Benanza. Super cute, great music, lovely story, adorable, sometimes tear jerky, great gameplay. Mario Kart World can, you can have a V8, no one. - And I believe that bitch is still like $79.99 on the e-shot. - See? - So, Miyamoto, who do you think you are? (laughs) (laughs) - Hmm. - Anyway, games. What's the last game you played? The Bluey Drop, Bluey Man Pan? - Probably. Honestly, my Switch is over there collecting dust. I have not turned that on in so long. And I don't know why. I go in and out of like being super into games for a while and then I fall off for a little bit. That's why I'm like, if I get this Switch too, I know I'm gonna be back in, I'm gonna be locked in. And I have other stuff I need to focus on right now. I tend to go to or I am, I am. We remember. - We remember every, literally. - Or I. - I have a 100% completion on Breath of the Wild. Like bitch, who do you know with this kind of power? Like hello, it's just me. Who else would find all 800 Koroks? (laughs) - So what's the point? - I have one more bitch and tears of the kingdom. I've done the water one. - Okay. - I have to go to, what's the desert called? - Fuck. - I don't remember. - I have to go over there. - Okay. - I did the water, I did the air with the birds. I just did the fire one. I have to go do her. I'm wrapping her up. I can't wait to finish it. A, because my god, that came from what, three years ago? - Gerudo desert, Gerudo desert. - Yes, yes, yes, yes. My favorite, actually, I saved it for less because that's where the counties are. That's where the dogs are. - The baddies are over here. (laughs) - Yeah. - Save the best for the last. - Overlapped. - But yeah, I want to finish it because also, I mentioned this a couple of months ago. Somewhere I read someone was like, if you haven't finished tears of the kingdom, finish it, the end is fierce. That's all I'm gonna say. - Yeah. - Well, like, fucking fine. Plus there's that sequel spin-off game I really want to play. So, whenever. - You gotta do it. - Avatar. watch avatars.com. and yet that's all I have to say about it. Had to watch it yet, figured somebody might say, hey, if you really have you watched Avatar and yet, and can you pass their crystal about watching Avatar again? The answer is no, the answer is probably not. - I do think somebody emailed about that actually. Like I just wanna know if you're watching something that probably-- - Here are my titties and everything that they know. - Okay. - This. - Wait, this is the show that I got bullied about in our live show. - Yeah. - Okay, no, I'm not looking at that. - Where that lady brought a concert taste. - She had a damn-- - So now you're not gonna watch it out of sight. - I have a notebook right. (laughing) - It's a fierce show. I just started-- - I'm putting it just a pitch all off. (laughing) - I just started all over, and this really good fighting game came out for me too. It's really good. I am interested in seeing the movie, but I kinda wanna watch the whole series over again. It's not that long anyway. That answers that question. I've seen it, I mean, I haven't seen it, but I have seen the trailer for the new one that's coming out the end of the year with the little black girl avatar. Very excited to see that. And most avatar fans are not absolutely hopeless and shiftless morons. - Oh, damn. - So I don't expect that there's gonna be this huge pushback about the new character being a girl in black. - Maybe her being a girl 'cause the last one was, but-- - And like, okay, so, yeah, I do it too much. (laughing) - Avatar is also openly gay and fans love it, so I can't-- - Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. We love that. - Last but not least in a little personal thing, I haven't seen the Odyssey either. I, it's still sold out. - Oh my God, what? - Full, at least I max. 'Cause that's where I wanna go see it, right? - Oh, right, the 70 millimeter, all that, yeah, yeah. - That's what I'm right. - Yeah. Oh yeah. - It's been out for like two weeks now. - In Los Angeles, you might get enough tickets. (laughing) - And then they're already over here doing press for next month, too. - Yeah, yeah. Right. Your pictures are still, oh my, okay. - Yeah. Adam's all, Adam went to see Odyssey for his birthday. He just turned 30, which is crazy. Had my brother, yes, he just turned 30. And I was like, well, what'd you do for your birthday? And he said, went to see the Odyssey in 75 millimeter extravaganza or whatever it's called. And he said it was great, so. - I've heard a single bad thing about it. - Me either, but I'm not going up, huh? You know what, I went to go see this week Toy Story 5. - How was she? - It is so good. - No, it is. I'm like, y'all just-- - Did you cry? - No, but it was theirs. I mean, I got a little teary, you know, there's some elements like that in it, but cry, no. I didn't enjoy it. - He was weeping after three. Like, that was his famous for making a cry. - Well, 'cause three, I think is where if you grew up with this franchise, and you're like, I did. - At this point. - And he's all grown. - Oh, yeah. At this point, and these kids don't want toys no more. - Yes, I'll hold Andy, he's so big. (laughing) - Fuck. - All the millennials died a little bit, so when they heard that. - Oh, no. - Oh, but yeah, Toy Story 5 was really cute, and I'm glad I went inside there, but I'm not doing the Odyssey. I'm not going. - So. - I was gonna ask for spoilers. I guess you should just watch it. - For Toy Story 5? - Yeah. - 'Cause all the promo has this that big leap frog - Mm-hmm, it's the tablet, yeah. It's just about how do we balance technology, which is here, obviously, in a huge part of our lives with what children need, which is, you know, play. Kids actually do need to play. It's important for them to develop mentally and no games on the iPad do not count like. (laughing) And you get some shots into what happens when these kids let their imagination take over and the stories they come up with, which is so cute. But. - I love that. - Yeah, yeah. I love when they just get ridiculous with this, so. - I love that. - Yeah, and it comes to a nice reasonable conclusion, and, you know, nothing. - Yeah, that's not the bad guy. - It's, well, it just needs to be used in moderation, which, yeah, you know, we should be introducing kids to these things slowly and at much older ages than we currently are. - Yeah, yeah. - Yeah. - Okay, this not see. - It's good. It's really good. I enjoyed it, I did. - 'Cause I never saw the fourth one. - Was that the one where Tim Allen wouldn't do it 'cause it was woke? (laughing) - Maybe, 'cause that sounds slightly familiar. And what the fuck else is Tim Allen doing? - Right. - Probably. - I think that's the one where Tim Allen was like, "Yeah, I'm not." Or was it the other one? I don't know. - I definitely have not seen the fourth one. - I don't even know what that one's about. - Yeah. - Well, it is, Toy Story 5 was very, I really did enjoy it, so. - All of that sounds really good. - You will probably cry. 'Cause I got a little theory. - I'm just being surprised me. - Yeah. - 'Cause a lot of times I will cry and be the only one in the theater crying. - Yeah. - Yeah. - And then sometimes, like the whole theater is beating and I'm like, yeah, I guess this is emotional, but I'm probably. - Remember when we went to go see what the fuck was that movie called and everybody was crying? A grown-up movie. - Sequel to the wedding, the wedding, the wedding, the wedding. - Acrimony. - Best man, the best man. - Oh, the best man reunion, the best man feel good. - Yeah, like the last one we're gonna call it a day. - Call it a day. - The best man holiday. - Yeah. - Oh, oh, when old girl died. Yes. The entire theater was inconsolable. And I was sitting there like, yeah, I guess this sucks. But that was the last thing I watched that made me cry, eh? I don't know. - I know it wasn't inside out too, but that's the first one that came to mind, but I know that was it. - Yeah, I was big weeping. - Yeah, yeah, that got everybody. That got everybody. - That still makes me cry. - Yeah, every adult was like, God damn, oh, oh, oh, oh. - The anxiety attack, like the actual representation of it with the characters, but then seeing her while you're having it in real time, the way her friends came, you know what I mean? A check on her, the way that Joy pops in, the anxiety is breaking down, even though anxiety was taking her through to Joy's character arc, bar back to her place where she saw her as an emotion that was also, you know, important and valid and necessary and just loved on her bitch. What was the little thing that has all her feelings in it, the little thing that they hold out? Yeah, when that was the point and then Joy just hugs it. - Yeah. - Yeah, I'm really loved inside out too. That was what it was. - It's a fantastic movie. So necessary, I can't wait for more of them. I can't wait for more of them. - Same. - I think that's probably the most important quote unquote. I was gonna say children, but like family movies. I've seen it and I don't even know how long. - Yeah, I agree. - Do you have anything else you've been into? - Um. - Besides gay women playing sport? - Oh, well, it was all start weekend, my God. - Go on ahead, go for it. - Have you, have you, do you know anything about what happened? - During I am, all sports girls. So take it away and then I provide my notes. - Okay, so who was MVP of the all-star game? - I said, take it away. - Exactly. - You see how I'm off all my entries? - Exactly. - You get started. - Exactly, like I said. - You get started. - You know, here's the thing. We, the stud buds can't be allowed to continue. This, we, the, sorry, we can't, you're the sports ball diva and you don't know who the stud buds are. Okay, see. - The stud to see. - Buds, they're the ones with the fucking thing. - Yeah, exactly. And they, it can't, it can't be allowed to continue. Oh, sorry, y'all. - And why is that? - The, so, for you and the one other person who doesn't know, the stud buds are two, I mean, stud is a strong word, but I'm leaving alone. - The studs and buds. - And they go live at WNBA all-star. They started this last year. They went live for like the entire three days of all-star weekend. So all the partying that everybody was doing, all the drinking, even at the events at the game, somebody was live the whole fucking time. So they did it again this year and drunk people said, things on camera that they should not have said. It has cost controversy. Niggas is dead. - Yes. Yes. Yes. One of the stud buds leaked that another couple had broken up, even though that was not public. Knowledge yet. - Why would they do that? but what the star of all star weekend is Dijenae Carrington because after everything wrapped up in the wee hours of the morning, Dijenae got on threads and said, "Since y'all want to be funny, I'ma be hilarious." And Alyssa did cheat on me. Yes, she did with Ali and Nadia Kelly and many, many more. So chew on that, bitch. And I said, "Oh, God." I love it. What's crazy is that Dijenae is dating Jackie Young who plays for the aces. Oh, so it's all mess. And Alyssa also plays for the aces. And Dijenae Kelly was on the aces. And the aces are playing Dijenae's new team Chicago on Saturday. And Dijenae is finally, like, I think she's getting off the injured list this week. So it might be-- - Not below. - Well, I mean, not below. Who dies first? I don't even-- It has been so messy. Oh, God, I do love it. I do. But I'll start. Yeah, that's sorry. Yeah, that's been a great deal of my entertainment over this past week and watching that Tina Fey show on Netflix for seasons. I have been looking at it. I heard it's good. I do like it. I do. They're very-- you know, it's just GeneX people getting older and trying to-- well, it's a friend group. And one of the couples gets a divorce. And I'm only like four episodes in, but so far it's great. And episodes may-- - Not even sure, but I mean, having a good time. Cautman Domingo has an Italian husband, but they have an open relationship, of course, but it still gets messy. It's a document. Is this like a duck real? Oh, no. It might be. It might be, but yes, good. Well, I'll check that out too. Somewhere in the mix of all of their shit. Don't ask the inference. Oh, wow. And how was that? I'm saving that for a piece of footage. - Love it. - For while I will compile all of my thoughts. Okay. Yeah. Wow. Right, also trying to watch Avatar. The new project runway has been flicking my titties, love it. Also been trying to-- what is the other thing that I'm watching at the same fucking time? Widows, Bay, and fuck. There's another show I keep jumping into and I can't think of what it is right now. But I'm literally watching two or three or four things at the same fucking time. And things just keep coming out. Oh, that damn Apple TV. Another highly rated show I've never heard of. They're all good. They are. They are. Oh, they're shows are so good. Damn it, Apple. Because the one with Javier Bardem, and what's her name? Amy Adams. That one's good too. Anyway. Ispice has fragrance coming out or it's out. Okay. Have you heard it's called Inha Mood? I had no idea, but if it's really called Inha Mood. It is. Oh, it is. Oh, it's really inha Mood. On TikTok shop. Wow. Oh. So this is for a very specific. This is for a very specific fan. And I am not that person. I have never bought shit off a TikTok baby. It's for something I just cannot do it. I'm sorry. TikTok shopping is huge, isn't it? It is. No, it is. And and so many people sell legit stuff on TikTok. Yeah. It's just something about it. It feels like. Weird. I can't. I can't. That's just a step too far. I just cannot. It feels. It don't feel right. I bought something off of Instagram once. I've done that. And I was disgusted. I did not like me. With yourself. Yeah. I myself. What am I doing? Why is Instagram populating my address? Oh, I'm not Twitter anymore. So I said no. I can't. That's all I felt the first time I bought something from Instagram too. Yeah. But the Instagram was like, I got something for your bitch ass. And kept after that showing me shit. That was my life. Yeah. I don't know. I don't want this to. No, I'm not doing it. It's probably like that. My question though was. How does buying a new fragrance online work? I don't think I've ever bought a fragrance I didn't smell. Is it not in Alta's for people to go sniff it? Well, it says it's online right now. Like she went on TikTok live to, I guess, do like a launch via Alta's TikTok shop. But it says it's going to have a wider release on Alta's website at the end of August. So it doesn't say anything here about it also being in stores. I'm assuming that either it will be in stores when it goes live on the website or they're working towards trying to get it to the store. Yeah. This is really an issue with fragrance. Like, you know, Beyoncé maybe can do this. I don't know that I spiked and get away with this. It's about to say give us a left on my bought a fragrance without smelling it. That Creole witch. And I don't think anybody else could get me to do that. I just don't. So this celebrity fragrances, that's how a lot of them. Yeah. They're right. They're leaning on that name. Yeah. Billy, I was just announced a new one. That's probably going to sell out. You know, and I've never smelled that, but I know the fans be going crazy for it. And it might even just be the bottle, but they go crazy for that. Oh, yeah. Clone or whatever it is. Yeah. So I mean, it doesn't sound bad, but it doesn't sound like I would like it. The notes include raspberry pear, rose, immediately know with the rose. The rose part. I do not like rose scent or flavor. And Magnolia up top vanilla and amber around things out underneath. It might be okay if it didn't have that rose. You know something. I was thinking about this too. I'm trying to put this together in my it earlier. Like, well, you know, I know on websites, they'll typically tell you like what the notes of it are. It's not the hurt, but I don't mean all the shit. Let me smell it. I still can't give me like a good idea of what it smells like and be with a smell like on my skin. Right. Right. I. You can tell me what the notes are. That doesn't mean I know what those things mean. Especially all mixed together, bitch. I don't. I'm not a perfume year or whatever that job is. I don't know what this means. I need to be able to go slip the sample and spray it on me and then walk around the altar and see how it smells after 15 minutes. Like, I. That's what I need. So. Yeah. But $80. I'm not risking it. But good luck. Travel size is 28 U.S. Oh, sweetie. Okay. All right. All right. I mean. You do what you got to do. Okay. The economy's bad. You know what? It's for the baddy baddies. I'm feeling nasty. I'm trying to see. I'm trying to find me a toothy or whatever. Oh, yeah. It's for the girls who going out and looking for that dahulia, which I'm not judging. I'm not judging. With a huka in a backpack. The whole pie. The whole. The whole thing. Yeah. This is what these kids who grew up thinking vaping was healthier than smoking cigarettes. So now they lug this chops from the. Right. Sweetie. It's giving a dog's tongue is cleaner than a human. Oh, yikes. You know, it's giving. Yeah. Like, if it falls in the floor, you have three seconds. It. Girl. Sweetie. Why did we believe that? Yeah. You know what? He used to take me out. When I was like, I think I have to be in no more than first grade. Other kids in class would say, if you got Mark on your hand, it would seep through your hands and poising. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. And that's why we had to buy non-toxic, which I don't know how true it even is. Listen. I assume, you know, that was for the niggas who'd be chewing on markers. I was never that depraved. Not to chew on the felt pin part. I might chew on the plastic, but I'm not going to chew on the felt part. I mean, we have clasps. Right. I have standards. Come on. I think this is actual gross. Be for real. I did use to put almost glue in my hand and let it dry. Oh, yeah. Sensory thinking. Children do that. Yeah. Yeah. It's nice when they can, like, grow up and have peas and get good grades because people care about them. And then they go read books and don't. I suppose it has a red font. So I guess that's what this is coming from. It says. Oh. Yeah. Okay. You folks I hear who listened to this podcast, who in your early and mid twenties and be like, I'm going to listen to you. Sometimes I was eight. Yeah. Respect. Yeah. That sounds like this is weird. This is for people age 18 to 27. I'm going to give you up to 27. That's gracious. Yeah. How wrong. Yes. That elder. Yes, that elder. Gen Z. Get your coin, ISIS. So Beyoncé has said in terms of Sir Davis, I'll be taking that. Thank you. Another one. Thank you. It was cute. It was very cute. You're welcome. Thank you, Moette. And I'll be taking this now. So yeah, Beyoncé bought out a Moette Hennessey steak in her increasingly popular whiskey brand Sir Davis, built and distilled right here. Sure. No fucking idea. But yeah, I read about this yesterday, I believe, and I read about this this morning when I got it. Yeah. According to several different reports on websites that I guess like report news on spirits in a while. Yeah, it's actually a lot of websites that do that. Who knew that it was like a real business? And I want to go, okay, like there are people who are like legitimate wine connoisseurs, they can go wine tasting. But I'm like, do you go and check a website to see what people who are deep in it. Yeah, I guess so. You know what? Probably rich. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I think this is like executives in the in the alcohol and wine industry. So they have like a seller. Right. Right. A temperature controlled room for all of their spirits. Right. Yeah. They put one on to be like this bottle is from 1781. Yeah. Yeah. That makes sense. But yeah, she bought out her whiskey brand. It was actually doing very, very well for Moette head and sea. It isn't like a this company that was housing the brand. That's like, well, this ain't doing shit, or moving shit. So here you go. How much you want for it? The company actually stood for the spokesperson. At least it was like, no, did great thing for us. Super happy for her. Dap, Dap. Go for it, thanks. So I love that. It is really good. It is. I need to get a bowl of rest and I was going to take a break from drinking. And every time I say I'm taking a break from drinking, I get black out. I don't know what it is about it because I don't get drunk when I am just drinking. I mean, I don't get drunk when I'm like outside of the times I tell myself, I'm not going to. I'm like, only drink socially. Yeah. But in those times, I'll just be like, go. I'm just fine. Whatever I'm like, I'm not drinking anything. I'm going to take a break from drinking. I get wasted. Well, maybe just tell yourself that you are going to drink like I am going to get fucking loaded and then see doesn't work in the opposite for that. I had that idea. Did it work? I was like, what if it's just worse? Oh, oh, damn, yeah, that is a risk. I don't like waking up and still feeling right. That is not fun. That is not a fun feeling. Yeah, it is. I am leaving that to the young hose who just got the license and work in the right direction. Right. They don't have medical children's licenses anymore. I'm not. Yeah, no, that's for those of you who just got old enough to go to the club, baby. Amy is out of that game for real. Uncle T had her time. I did. And it was fun. I'm fresh up the game. No, baby. I had some sangria two days ago. I said, god damn. Me? That's how you know. You okay me taking the champ out like this, not me. I'll do one shot and be like, it's you know, I'm gonna go sit down. Yeah, I'm gonna just go sit down. Where's my water add actually? Let me just. Right. I drink. I need a minute. But yeah, I'm probably gonna grab one of these bottles somewhere because right now, my empty third day of this bottle is just on the lining the like the patio. Oh, no. This door over by the patio, they go as I have like a whole bunch of empty liquor bottles that I actually like up there. Like my hands to see white bottles are up there in the window. Next to the third day of this. Next to like a what do you call it? Casay Azul or is it class? I think it's Casay. You and your college student aesthetic. It is isn't it? Classy Azul. Yes. Except we used to put bottles of any fucking thing up there. Child Mad Dog 2020. Exactly. Well, we put bottles of anything. Such a grad school. No crown royal this time. By you said this is a PhD home. Not no fucking bachelor's and communications, but don't disrespect me. Thank you. Moving forward, I this one is rough, fit your devily and literally. Did you hear about DJ Envy admitting? I know. It's the list. Without regrets. Oh, my God, bro. Telling the world that was in fact his wife who taught him how to wash his liberal arts. Okay. I'm gonna read the quote and I'm just you know what? We made it through smell and taste. We did. And that was grosser. Yeah, it was worse. It was actually worse. So Eric Renee had a clip that went a little viral not long ago where he like emailed to her or some shit and he's talking about men not watching the ass because they think it's gay. So I think I've said I think my whole life also see brush in their tongue. We're going to stay focused on the ass. Oh my God. So they discusses on a breakfast club. DJ Envy says all right, confession confession. I tell too much up here. My wife hates it, but it's all good. So do you want to stop there? Do you want to just I let anything you feel like? No, I'm asking you want to pause right here to address you. She just said it. That would have been a great idea. As soon as you have that thought of of you know what? I'd be telling too much of my wife hates it, but oh well, that is when you should actually stop talking. You should be like it's all for once. I'm just wrap it up. And considering what you're getting ready to save bitch. Just a dirty. So yes, I used to be the type of guy that didn't get up all up in there, but I never thought about it. Okay. So I hate this mind you. This is a grown man. This is an adult. This is an adult man speaking. Oh my God. What is likely the biggest radio program? It might be the biggest morning show. Right. Radio show in the fucking country. Right. It really might be. And okay. All right. I never thought about it. She's never alive tonight. Your cheeks were glued together and you just never thought about it. All right. It's not a conversation I have with the fellas at the barbershop when we out and about like, hey fellas, did you ask for or wash your ass? Okay, so I have to pull over one again. Yeah, that's it, got to. It's the sexuality versus attraction thing again for me. It's the homosexuality versus home attraction thing again for me. Why? When thinking about cleaning your ass and discussing it, you first go. Well, it's not something that I talked to my niggas about. Why would you talk to your niggas about washing your ass hole? I'm like, that doesn't happen. Women don't get together and be like, "Girl, did you rinse your pussy out today?" We just assume you didn't take place. We just assume that you did. Right. Right. I'm working under the assumption that everybody rinse their pussy today. I'm not gonna ask why this doesn't come up. Jesus. Cause you know who you should have had the conversation with? Who ever raised you? Right. Where? Okay. Anyway, this no, it's just if it got worse, like, I don't even know if I don't know how far away the actual crazy bombshell. One day me and Gia is literally the next loud. There goes. My heart will go on. One day me and Gia, this is a long time ago. We take showers with each other. We wash each other. And one day she got all in the air. And I'm like, whoa. And then I realized I'm supposed to wash my ass thoroughly then is when he realized this and correctly So ever since that I'm like I wash my ass, but you should get all up in there. You don't want stinky ass Okay, I'm trying not to throw up on my mouth. I mean because What do you mean that's when you realize you're supposed to wash your ass thoroughly? What do you mean? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, those couple apart. So what did she claw out of this? That made you go whoa. Oh, Jesus Christ Ladies, thumbs male attracted individuals. I'm going to ask you again. What's happening? Why are you not calling these niggas mammies and saying take him? Yeah, re-raise this nigga Yeah, because why refuse to do as an adult? Is Educate another able-bodied adult How to do the basic yeah of washing one so yeah Call his daddy and be like you're actually not done with this one. You're you're all the lessons haven't been taught The the main themes are not downloaded into this one psyche. There's a lot that he's missing so I'm dropping him off And I'm gonna let you take over from here because the job's not done job's not done That's ain't either You got because I didn't clean it you Why would you tell us that? And did she not look at you like Until this very day you know me we've been married for however long we've been together for however long and It wasn't until this moment that you thought hmm Maybe this needs more than one or two swipes with the toilet paper, you know once or twice a day like maybe I should actually be Even if you don't get in your asshole, you don't wash between the cheeks even like you just never separated your cheeks and went in there I Know your father and I think I know they are what do you think your booty hole does? He don't even think about that area because you know, he's so straight the straightest I don't even think about my body like that. I don't have a booty hole that's gay. I Spread it out. I bet you I bet you the thought process is something like that Just not even igniting If you did then that's gay It's a one-way ticket if they do This nothing goes up there. You don't touch it. So wow gee the money must be really nice Like you just really don't want to get a job, huh cuz I would not there's there's no reality No, in which that would take place. Absolutely. No. I have to leave I'm not going to be like I'm picking out of here right now and with all of these other things considered I Also have to wash your ass. Think about how bad it must have been no Thank you actually that week the night before whatever that you was like, okay, today's Let's do something fun. Just cough. Just just oh God you have to send date that man to get in to see the doctor This a lot of the girls like being they man's little junior mama. They actually love it So let me not take that that thrill away from them. I love it. He can't do nothing for himself. Yeah, about himself Well It's dangerous actually for men's self esteem to be too high, but Why would he tell us that I? Guess it was part of whatever conversation they was having or I don't know. I really don't know shame about it You know men also do tend to have trouble feeling ashamed when they supposed to But I don't eat that And men can get away with things up the scoop and like that let a girl say she don't wash her ass Or you know that's the exact same thing. Please it would be every bit of you dirty bitch and all that I haven't been just said that is that Oh, that's what it trended, but you know, and it's like Even if you were gonna assume that right because I assume most straight men are Terrible it I do yeah, yeah, yeah, they're not gonna clean in nothing So why would I said all the time any different? Ladies check that belly button. Oh, take the back of them ears. No Tell them to floss a random back tooth and then smell that string. You'll get out of there. You'll you'll actually be asking for doors This is just a bridge too far and I'll understand more at least even if you're gonna share that Given the conversation why couldn't you be something as simple as like yeah, I learned a little later than I probably should have full style Well, let me name my wife again Have all the goddamn public times I've embarrassed her ass Let me also name her and how The clean the cleaning of my ass worked with her and also the exclamation that I let out Yeah After she came from a spill lunging Through my my rectum Yuck And you probably said all this with a big smile and a laugh and hi everybody's just having jokes and this is so fun and so funny to just be nasty. All right Okay Kanye West has settled a Sex sexual assault sex trafficking lawsuit that came up Just about two years ago June 2024 one Lauren Peshota who was his former assistant Accused him of sexual harassment wrongful termination breach of contract and a hostile work environment. She accused him of sending her Sexually explicit text messages some of them were all right some of those alleged messages were posted shared She also accused him of masturbating in front of her touching her vagina drugging her at a studio session with Puffy Yep Neither you know wildly publicized crazy Alarming accusation Well as of July I think 23rd it's a couple of like it days ago. It's supported that both sides attorneys came to some sort of a settlement apparently Uh kind of getting his people have 45 days to Like filed a drug request the dismissal Of the case and yeah, no Word on what that settlement looks like whether it's You know a big money number something else what like we have no idea what the terms or Whatever of the settlement are at least not at the moment and what we do know is that we ain't gonna know really too much about What happens since there won't be a trial As of right now, right settled Call Something to know if you remember those uh If you remember that lawsuit or those accusations Months to know what happened. I guess we might know Yeah, cuz Uh Kanye incorporated went ahead and said how much you want It's too much going on. We gotta do what we gotta do. Let's figure this out He's still got this white bitch walking around in the G string and pace to use. It's a lot over here well Yeah, and you know every time I see a picture of them I just be like what the fuck is really going on in that relationship like What are y'all What did you do before you let Kanye West play dress up with you for a living like what All right, it's confusing whatever they got going on over there You never know you don't let's be never know what's going on in somebody else's house It gives like it's weird psychological thriller. Yeah, it's weird over there. It's weird over there It is weird over there indeed I let's talk about the bumps and bruises tour and how It's already off to a fantastic start. I was about to say isn't gonna isn't going to finish up cuz Who knows I guess we'll just have to see won't we I already saw some big-ass fights. I'm huge brawl during one of the first shows on the tour When these niggas on stage performing so it's all called new flame So you just hear them singing at a background Wow The baddies Oh, okay, I have heard that okay Um Then what really hit the social media webs was this clip of Usher trying to do his sexy shirtless onstage theduction of an audience member. And noticing, along with the entire stadium or arena, I should say, let's be clear, that that young lady was not here for it. She was interested. She seemed uncomfortable. Yeah. So Usher, not so politely requested she get her ass off stage. Yeah, off you go. You just did like a dashing hand with this motion. All right. You're not feeling it. Please go. Please. Yeah. Since then, it's been this big hubbub between this girl and the internet. And I, I felt like this was, I mean, what else, what else was supposed to happen? She got pulled up. She wasn't really feeling it. You know, I think she said off or later that like, she was really there for Chris Brown. If it had been Chris to do it, then that would have been something else. But you know, like three times. Right. So she really meant it. Like, okay, girl, we get it. You came for bruises. We get it. But what else was he supposed to do? Like, yeah, I get that it wasn't, you know, super gracious or whatever. But you don't want to be up here. Usher, I'm sure don't want no more allegations or whatever else. It's everybody is recording. So going to take you ass like, I just did not think this had to be that big of a deal. And if you go to, if you paid money to see this story, then you get whatever you get, you deserve that. What? I don't feel bad for nobody going to see this damn tour. When I watched the clip of this girl talking about it and read some, she posted on Facebook, I would say out loud, this is in my opinion, a shining example of who I expected to be at this concert 100%. I'm like, I don't even need to hear the bro to know you're a picture. Oh, yeah. It's right here. Yep. So she responded to people who were commenting on the clip. And at first, I read this Facebook post. I think this might have came after the clip. But let me read what she said. First off, nobody is declining to go on stage. I look good as fuck. You thought I was going to let thousands, you thought I wasn't going to let thousands of people see me on the big screen where you bitches will never be. My mom and I have floor seats. Oh, you and your mom. Oh, you and your mommy. You really had no. Her mom was there for running. Meanwhile, I think, yeah, I'm on there because you know, I should bring it in the old birds and Chris bringing in the young birds, but mama was proud. This is an old bird now. Oh, oh, my God. Look, you're going to have younger me. No, you're right. No, you're right. And these girls are also now old. Like, yeah, I'm not 21 or more. Okay. Okay. Yeah. She's like, she's starting doing this. Yeah. Okay. Damn. Me and my mom have floor seats hilarious. Their team approached us and moved us to VIP before the show even started pretty privileges. Something you host will never know. They don't say who you're going up there for. Y'all wanting me to get up there and fuck him at this point. Chat folks aren't used to anything. That's the most exciting thing that would have happened in y'all little less lives. Fuck y'all disrespectfully. It's the most exciting thing that happened in your little last life. What do you mean? You'll never get this much attention for anything ever again. Bad sweetie. Nobody knows who you are. You're not anyone. This was your moment. Enjoy your 15 minutes. Do you? Like, you want a baddies chain? And there's a whole process to getting that. And you know, maybe Natalie will call you. Okay. Probably at this point, you will be so special. But if you want to speak like this, you go over Zeus and you get your ass speak for it. Like every other hardworking guy. You earn this shit bitch. Pretty privileges. Did you think that you was the only bad bitch at that cost? Do you think you're the first pretty girl that's ever been seen? The time of this is so hard. It's like, I got pulled up on stage in front of thousands of people. You but just won't never know what it's like. I actually do know what it's like. And I'm not impressed by you. This, you did. You had floor seats. And then we were in VIP. You did nothing, babe. This was not an accomplishment. Right. What? You act like an honorary doctor. Her bitch like Chrysler to share his. Her name is Cheyenne. You act like that man proposed to you all stage. You are one of hundreds, if not thousands of women who will be given upgrades for being pretty and asked to come on stage because they're pretty. You think you're the only cute hoe in this world? Okay. All right, sweetie. She must have got a text from Alia Obama after she got off stage. I need you to be in space for the fuck you want or care. I am just not like you regular hoes. How are you not? You actually exactly like these regular ho. If you had pretty privileges, you would have been sucking Chris Brown's dick that night. We didn't get that part of the situation. If you was that privilege, you and your mama wouldn't have paid for the ticket. I just don't understand. But then like I said, I watched the clip of her talking about it afterwards. When I watched the clip clip, I was like, oh, you're, yeah, you can't buy this honest. You're a generational bird. You're in maybe that class. You know, like you. Okay, you didn't have to do that. Because she said some shit like, how y'all didn't know I was just uncomfortable. What are you talking about? Hello issue, right? The flick of my phone to be like, it's, are you there? Do you get it? You were asked to leave because you were visibly uncomfortable. Everyone, all the thousands of people that were like, everybody that you wanted to see you on the screen. Everyone could see the income. No. And the gag is, who would you have been more uncomfortable with on stage? Usher, bumps or boots? Well, I don't think Chris would have let me up there. So he Chris would have been like, first of all, darker than a paper bag and biggest foot. Please move around. Shit. The Jill Scott show is down the street. He would have told somebody to bring his coat 40 from the back of the stage. So he could hold the bag up to you. Like, no, no, no, no, no. I'm not a hundred percent sure. I can't. The eyeball test is not, it's not reliable, but somebody break me a bag. He got an apple in his phone with the paper bag out. So he can just check right there at the dog, bitch. Slow down, darky. Yes, not happening. Yeah, when I absorbed all the information from her slide of conversation, I was like, this, this is a Chris Brown fan at a Chris Brown concert. Like, I really can't say that I'm all too surprised, flabbergasted or moved by this output from this individual, considering how she feels and where she was at. This is what you're supposed to do. Chris Brown then had another concert. They both had another concert in Birmingham. No, Nashville. Okay. They had another concert after that somewhere. I think it was in Alabama. And during the section, the same part of the concert. Usher says, no, don't bring your ass up here. If you don't want to wait, if you don't want to be up here. And it feels like that would have gone without saying. I mean, also, I mean, you would think that, but then we did also just have somebody saying like, yeah, I didn't give a fuck about us or whatever, but y'all had to see me. So maybe you do have to spell it out. True. Maybe you do have to spell it out because one of these, one of these hours just did something very stupid. So maybe you do. And proud and proud saying she was privileged to do so. It stinks. Yeah. Yeah. Everybody stupid and proud. I'm ugly and I'm proud. I'm SpongeBob. No, you're letting them have it. But I gotta let y'all have it. What are we supposed to do about it? The girls are going to bird. I heard a white man on the news. K called, why people were sent over educated again yesterday. Just like, over, over. They do that anytime a white person that races. I'm like, oh, you're right. All right. Well, actually I didn't go to college. You know you're on TV. Is that in a major metropolitan area? Oh, look at that. I'm finished. Okay. So I hope that you, girlies, got something out of this situation. Amazing. Anything, uh, Sir Davis and, um, children of blood and bone. I can't wait to see that fucking movie. Okay. That's it. We are back. Ladies and friends. It's time for your list and letters. Indeed. Please send your letters to ask the reader gmail.com. We may read them aloud on the show. We do have an update this week from angry cat lady. If you'll remember, angry cat lady's boyfriend has these cats that were pissing all over the place. I'm going to forget. Uh, yeah. And it actually. Somebody else like that came in. I asked three. It did. It did. Okay. So angry cat lady wrote back and said the same week the episode came out. My boyfriend finally decided to get the cats neutered. I wanted to wait though to give y'all an update just in case the neutering didn't fix the peeing and shitting everywhere. To make a long story short, shitting in the tub was my boyfriend's final straw with them cats. And that Monday, he called and made an appointment to get them both neutered on Wednesday. However, the cats must have heard him making the appointment because the night before the neutering, they decided to unlock his room, unlock his bathroom, take a shit in front of the bathroom and inside of the bathroom and then went in his room, pissed on his drawers and knocked over his dirty clothes, hamper. These cats are incredibly smart. They do know how to open and unlock doors and can even turn on faucets. Yep. Dangerous. They really can't. After that, he swore on everything that if neutering did not fix their behavior, he would not be keeping them. It's been a few weeks and the cats have officially not peed or shit on anything. They are definitely more chill, but they still have their same quirky personalities that he was afraid neutering would take from them. Do the cats look at me like this is all my fault? Yes. Did one of the cats push my afro pic hair ties and share a cap into the sink and then turn the faucet on? Also, yes. But they're not shitting everywhere anymore and my man is happy, so I'm happy. Thanks, angry cat lady. I'm glad it worked, girl, because y'all was going to have to break up without question. And also, cats just do that if anything, they probably blame their dad. I think it is fierce that they might have overheard him and be like, "Okay, we got something for this kid." That's what's funny to me. They said, "All right. We got one more night. Let me tell you what we're going to do on it to speed night." Let's make it count twin. It's been shitting in front of the bathroom and inside the bathroom and in the beginning. Like the tag team. All right. I'm a shit on this side. Double your flesh or double your front and bitch. But outside of that, I feel like them cats would be knocking over your afro pic and laundry and bring all the shit in. That's just do what the fuck they want to their kids. So, there's still trouble makers but way more under control now, so I'm glad it worked out. I'm glad your boyfriend had a line. I took a shade in the top for this video like three times. Enough is enough. I got to step up and start being a damn dad. Matters so funny like they're just weird. Oh, Lord. Especially the straight ones. Okay. Thank you, angry cat lady for the update. There's a question for you here from Skull Kid who said, "I was really excited to hear your kid" if you already talk about other mommy and Coraline, which is my wife's favorite movie. But in fact, Henry Selik also directed Nightmare before Christmas. Yep. Okay. My question is what other horror novels would you guys recommend, would you recommend? You know better. And have you ever read Strange Pictures by You Ketsu? Yes. I'm not even sure if I love Skull Kid. Do you love any other horror novels? You know, look at that. I see even King. That's what I got for horror novel. That's how long it's business I really want to say. I feel like the one I read before that was probably it. I was reading that one again. Scared, the haunting of Hill House book is good. What's that one called? There's one that's kind of like, it's a post-apocalyptic story where men are like, not zombies, but they're like, "Oh fuck, what is that book called? It's so good." I think it's a trans woman who wrote it. Man hut? Man hut. Man hut. That one's really good. You gave enough details for Google to figure it out. You know I didn't know that. Those are the only ones I can think of right now. I've been reading after, I mean, before I read incidents around the house, I was reading a lot of Stephen King stuff, because his shit is just like, it's so pictureized, it's very vivid, it's also like, all bets are off. So his stuff is good, but the incidents around the house is probably the best horror novel I've had in a long time. I might end up being one of my favorites again, because it's just the way it's written and delivered is very scary. Yeah. That Stephen King got a weird mind. And we might just have to leave it at that, like something weird is going on over there, brother. Like, how do you come up with all this? Thinner? And then there is some of the creepiest shit I've ever read in my life. I think I've read that one. Oh my God. You have to read thinner. It is. I'm. Anyway. It works for fucks. Yeah. They are. They are. And I had no business reading Stephen King when I did. Who's won something? I checked out. Yeah. It is. It is. It is. Um, where who accidentally kills a Romani woman is cursed by the woman. Oh, okay. Stephen. Yeah. Yeah. Romani woman cursed him. Right. You know, they called it gypsy back in because this was written in like 80s, so it's not politically correct or anything, but I remember as a child that but fucked me up. At all. Hurts by the woman's father to rapidly lose weight. Okay. That one's going on the list. Um, all right. Thank you, Skull Kid. Our next letter comes from KJ who says, Hey, y'all love the show day one listener. A few episodes ago, you mentioned the short form video show subway takes. I am curious what each of you would pick as your subway take if you were actually on the show on the train sitting across from that dude. What would your take be? Love you guys. Thanks for reading KJ. Yeah. Some about hot takes about New York, right? No, it could be about anything. Uh-oh. So mine would be, and I know this is controversial. Okay. That's the point. It's supposed to be controversial. Yeah. And so I say mine and you either say 100% agree or 100% disagree. Okay. No. But my subway take is audiobooks do not count as reading. Crystal. Crystal. I don't care. I don't care. Listen. No, I know it's going to piss the girls off. Listen. Just listen. This is not about physical books or e-books being superior to audio books. Like it's not about that at all. I don't feel that way. Even the literature, however you need to consume it, okay? Because not enough people are engaging with books no more. So if you need audiobooks, then please, and if you want to call it reading, you can. But if you ask me, I'm going to say no, that's called listening because that's what it is. It's called listening. We have a word for when you learn a story or a book or novel because somebody else read it to you and it's called listening. Yeah. That's it. That's it. I think about which one is better or which one is real or what it is about, the word and what the word means. We have a word for that. Yeah. So that's my subway take, man, but I know the girls are mad. I know they're mad. I was just saying 100% agree or 100% agree. Yeah. That's what he says. As a hostess. 100% agree to the point where I have a podcast called for you as far as you do. I go on the podcast, I'd say whatever comes to my mind. An episode of it came out yesterday. The first, the intro to the episode, I literally said, I'm a whole jawhead on this one. Oh Lord. You didn't read an audio book. It came out yesterday. Wow. Alignment. The first thing I said, wow. You didn't read that. You didn't. You heard it. You did! Somebody read it to you and that's fine. - And it's okay. - You still learned the book. You have acquired the knowledge from the book. You can call it reading if you want to, but don't ask me to call it reading 'cause I'm not gonna do that. - I'm not gonna do that. - I'm not. You listen to the book and that's fine. - And you know what, from what I hear? - I don't really do audio books that often unless it's like, I'm really, like I'll probably listen to the incidents around the house. - Oh, yeah. - Audio book, but I already read the physical book. - Right. - The only reason I say that is because my attention span or my attention disorder. - Mm-hmm, yeah. - I can't. - I can't be disordered. (laughs) - Right, so. But audio books can be fierce like depending on who's reading them and they add like effects and ambient stuff to make you feel like you're in it. - Right. - So, it's no shade, the audio books. It's like what you just said. - Yeah. - Reading has a meaning and a definition. - Right. - Because we do that with our eyes or our fingers. If we are blinded and reading with braille. But we do not read by listening. That's, it's listening. It is literally your listening. You are listening to the story being told. And that's great. Do whatever you have to do. I know a lot of people who buy audio books to go along with the physical book because they also have ADHD and hearing somebody read it helps them. It's like they are reading along with it. Like they're reading it together. And that, let me tell you something. When you have ADHD, do you do whatever you have to do in order to function? (laughing) - Just make it over, girl. - Whatever work, like for me, I have to turn on sleep stories at night because my mind will not shut up. And I can lay in the pitch black, no phones, no screens for hours. And my mind will just keep coming up with new things to think about. But if I turn on a sleep story, I'm gonna be out in 20 minutes tops. So, it's just something about it. - Um, and I'm just going with whatever works. So, that would be my subway tag. You could be mad if you wanted to, but I did say what I said. - Of course we're gonna be people that are pissed. - Yeah, I mean, that means well. - I didn't say you couldn't call it that, but I'm not gonna call it that. - Yeah. - Agreed. - I'm not. - Be pissed at the dictionary, I guess. - Right. - We have a word for that. Anyway. Speaking of the sleepy thing, to game, G-A-Y, gamer, nerd again, for the sleepy thing, I have the Nintendo Alarmo clock. And it's like a motion tracking cog. You put it by your bed. And it has like all these different Nintendo songs and music. - A hundred dollars. (laughing) - When you finish. (laughing) - I'm sorry. (laughing) - As all these different songs and sounds, like Breath of the Wild has like a whole thing of their animal crossing. They just added Donkey Kong to the answer. It has a motion tracking thing on it. So in the morning, it's, let's say you pick Breath of the Wild. It'll have sounds that kind of, it's an alarm, right? - Yeah. - Like the sounds will moderately grow and grow and it can sort of track when you're moving around in the bed. And so it will sort of, that sounds might intensify the more that it tracks that you're moving. And so you finally get out of bed. And when it senses that you're out of the bed, it'll make like a victory noise. - Uh-oh. - But it can track if you get back in it, then. - And it will start all over. (laughing) - Okay, that's actually very cute. - But I brought it up because it has something called sleepy sounds. - Mmm. - So you can like set your bedtime or whatever and then it'll track when you're in the bed and then it'll start playing. These are really cute sounds based on like ambient sounds. - Hachu. - And on whatever. - So that's why it's $100. 'Cause I was like, this looks like a boy, right? But now I see it is a real thing. So. - It's effective as fuck. - Right. - And you hear Mario going, "Oh, like get your voice out of bed." - Yeah. - And then when I do get out of bed, it goes, (humming) No, what's the one that just, (humming) - Whatever, it gets you to do the Mario, I got a star thing. - Oh, oh, (humming) Oh no, that's the mushroom. (humming) - That's Mario part where you get a star. - Yeah. - I'm talking about like when you get a star in Mario, like when you beat a level. - Oh. (humming) - Yeah, that one, that one, that one, that one, that one, that one. That one. (humming) - Yeah. - And then you get back in the bed and Bowser is like, (humming) - I'm like, I'm dead. - I'm so serious. - Okay, that's really cute. - It's really cute, but. - So that's why it's $100,000, okay, yes. - Yeah. - It was like, wow, it should be 20 max, but nevermind, I get it now, that's a real take. - Ah, a hot take. - Oh, yeah. - Niggas can take a break from Uno. - 100% agree. - There are other games. - Wow. - And you know what else? Monopoly wouldn't last so long if y'all played by the fucking rules. - Say 100% agree. - Monopoly would wrap up in 45 minutes tops if you niggas would play by the real rules. - At most. - It doesn't, it goes off ever because y'all don't play by the fucking rules. - Y'all borrow money from each other and from the bank and do all kind of niggas shit and you wanna build hotels when you don't have all the colors yet and all kind of shit, y'all make the game hard. - It just happened to get you through all. - Cutthroat gate. - It really is. And that's when it's the most fun. - It's capitalism, it's supposed to be mean. - Yeah. - Do you know that when you land on a property and you can't afford it, it's supposed to go to auction? - Niggas never play the auction. - They never ever have it. - That is fun. - Niggas have to play with the auction. - That is like I can, like I'm, why you play it? - Oh, anyway, I'm like, that's why no shade. I probably have racked up the most hours on Monopoly on Nintendo. - Yeah. - Because you can play it with niggas. - I can play by, now we've played Monopoly. - Actually, we've played the game one with you. - Oh yeah, I have so many, but I don't like the Monopolys. Oh yeah, I'm good at it. But that's because I pick which properties that I'm going to target. And I don't spend a bunch of money. - Yeah. - I know how to play the fucking game. - Yeah, I completely agree. You niggas, part of the reason, oh no, turns into a problem is 'cause you don't play by the rules, but that's fine. - You don't play by the rules. - I'm not against house rules. We can have house rules. We just got to say that before we get started. - Thank you. - We cannot be like, oh yeah, you got to draw until you get a card after we don't already started. 'Cause that's not the rules. So just say it, you got to say it first. - Thank you. And you'll always want to take things too far. I'm not, you're not going to stack a draw two on a draw four. Are you okay? - Niggas. - Are you okay? - Yeah. - Yeah. - You're doing that draw four, you're drawing that four. And we're changing that color. - Right. - And honestly, it should start there. - Right. And you don't get a turn if you had to draw. - You don't get a turn if you had to draw. Like, we be letting shit slide. And then the girls just be like, well, two plus four, but also I have another two and I'm skipping you. - Girl, you're not doing that. - You're not doing that. - Who's up for some mother, may I? You make us don't like rules, which is why you don't want to play new games because you don't want to learn. - Learn. - You don't want to play Uno with rules. And you also don't like, you have an issue with rules so much that you play nothing game and you don't want to tell nobody how to play it. - Right. - Spades. - Spades. - Niggas are not telling you how to, it's all, just watch. - Just watch. - You'll learn. - Yep. - You'll figure it out. - Just watch. - You just sit and watch. And you have to sit and watch for approximately seven years before you'll be ready to sit at the table. But that's what Niggas wants to do. - And someone will still cut you and never speak to you again. - Oh, don't you be the one. (laughs) Don't you be the one to re-nig. - Whoa. - Then again, I did throw an uproarious tantrum when I lost space in it. - Oh yeah, you did it. Yeah, you are not good. You, you don't have the temperament for board games and card games and such. - For phase 10. - You really overreacted. - That was the first time playing that game. - Really overreacted. - Phase 10 is brutal. Like when you're playing by the rules, too. (laughs) - Yeah, it is. 'Cause you watch other people go out to other phases. You like, bitch, I'm still on phase two, the first. - I'm still on two. (laughs) I want to play the game as well. (laughs) - Yeah, you did, you threw a tantrum. - That game. - I was embarrassed, eventually. - Well. - Like years later. - Okay. Well. - So yeah, I guess that would be my, my take. - That's a great one. - I shared it already. - It's great. - I'll also say, can we talk, poison, and this is how we do it. Take a break. I'm not saying erase it from the culture. - Right. - Take a time off. - Take a time off. - Let us miss it. - Right. - Before I let go, I've already let go. - Oh, man. - You know. - I've already let go. Both versions, you could take a break. - Yeah. [BLANK_AUDIO] to be outside when it's time. We can, well, we'll revisit it. - We can revisit it. - Oh, okay. - Well, thank you for that question, KJ, as you see you got home started. - You're fine. - All right. Oh, like, and another thing. - We'll see what comes from that, right. - Does the girls are gonna be cracked? - Well, I mean, what would you feel like you better be? 'Cause you actually ran the thing. - Maybe. - Maybe I do. - But the thing is, I'll happily be the one to be the rules. I just need you to niggas to listen. I'll tell you what the rules are, but you don't even wanna listen to somebody else tell you what the rules are. It's like, so do what before the two of you here. - Oh, okay. Anyway. - A draw two on a four is die of alcohol. Y'all are-- - You're not doing it. - And it like, okay. - All right, our next letter comes from chicken baddie. Who says, well, while I was out of town this past weekend, my best friend of 13 years agreed to come by and make sure that my chicken Abigail had water since it's been over 100 degrees. - Oh, an adjunct. - Yeah, invacus. - Damn, it is. - It is how this fuck out there. - I mean, it's, yeah. - Imagine my surprise when I got home with my nine-year-old daughter and found sweet Abigail dead in her run area. - No, Abby. - Mind you, her sister died last week, so now I'm down to zero chickens and two kids who are distraught about their mean-ass pets passing away. Upon discovering Abigail, I texted my friend to ask if she had time to give her water. Her response was, no, I forgot, I'm sorry. I responded, oh, Abigail's dead. She said, is she actually, no, it's fine. She said, is she actually, I said, yes. And she said, oh, gee, I am sorry. I didn't respond after this and she didn't reach out for the rest of the evening. No phone call or nothing. To put salt in the wound, she and her husband had stopped by my house earlier in that day to drop off the dog, but nobody went outside to check on Abigail. And to make it even worse, when she and her family went out of town for the fourth of July weekend, guests who checked on her chickens, every day she was gone. That's right, me. So what the hell? - Yeah, I just got chicken. - They end up, well, I actually cannot talk, 'cause my friends in Oklahoma got chickens, but I expect that out of Oklahoma. - Right. - So yes, what the fuck do I do? I know people will say it's just a chicken, but that chicken was part of my family. I'm going through a divorce and an awful custody battle because my baby daddy is my biggest hater. And the chickens helped maintain normalcy for my girls. They brought joy and the kids found comfort in coming home to check for eggs and having conversations with the chickens. No, I don't have many friends where I live. I would consider this girl to be one of the most important people in my life, but this feels really unforgivable. Please help me process this and find a way to be more mature. I'm a retired crash out but this situation has really tested me. Love you lots. Thanks, the chicken body who is now a saddie. - Oh. Sorry to hear about that. - What do you mean? - I would be devastated. - I don't think that there's a maturity thing. I think that you had a pet that you loved and cared about, that your kids loved and cared about. And negligence caused it's death. And negligence from a friend who you trusted to look after it. - Mm-hmm. - You acknowledged, hey, it's Vegas, it's hot here at Christmas. We're literally going through a wave all across the West Coast. - Right. - Can you please give my pet a water? - That's not outrageous, that's not unreasonable. Yeah, yeah. - You named the chicken, it wasn't just. - Right. It wasn't funny gender in four months, this was a pet. Like. - And you don't talk about this girl got chickens too. So it's not even like, right. - You are, you would forget about your friend having chickens or not used to it. - The fact that you took care of her chickens when she was gone and she let yours die. I think I would have to let the fresh have die. I think I don't know that that would be forgivable for me either. Like, oh, I forgot, OMG, I'm so sorry. Talk to you later. - Like you didn't even call me? You caused the death of my chicken and you did not even call me. Like, it's like you don't give a shit. - I would have called and I would have been sobbing. - Oh, I would never forgive myself. - Ever, ever. - Like, I'm bringing you two of my chickens and I'll never stop apologizing. - Like, flat out bare minimum. - Bare minimum. Yeah, 'cause this is fucked up. - I would have tried to pull some raven backs or family matches, and be like, okay. I'm just to bring up a bunch of chicken and be like, oh, we found Abigail. That's how you did it. - No, that is really, really awful. I don't know outside of confronting her. Maybe like in the best, calmest mood that I could muster and confronting her. And I would let her know why I was disappointed. Wow, I think I could be friends with her anymore. - Yeah. - But. - I agree. - Your kid's pet chicken diet. I mean, you know, dogs tuck at my heart string and heart strings in a specific way. But a pet is a pet is a pet. - Yep. - If I would have been like, hey, can you look after link for me while I go with you when I come back and my dog is dead? And do you know that almost happened? - To you. - To you. - Years ago, oh, Chris is gonna be my ass. (laughs) Years ago, not that she all- - Don't tell me, I don't want to know. I legitimately don't want to know. - It wasn't, I don't want to know. - She wasn't actually in any danger. She just like, he was with her, she was with him for something. And she was trying to, she was about to like, try to take off, run in. And he grabbed her just in the nick of time before she like got out of his car. So it was really not that serious, but that's why I'm like, he probably told you about that, but not like. - I did not know. - Okay, well, so yeah. Imagine how she actually got away. Nah, nah, you, Chris would have been dead. Yeah. - And that is my dog acting a fool and being a hood rat. - Yeah, it was, you know. - It's not like, oh, I forgot to take her out in the eye. - Right, it was Link's fault. (laughing) - Right, it was her being fast. - Yeah, I don't, yeah. I think I would for sure have to rat that friendship, but such that it's like the person she said she would is most important friend. - Yeah, yeah. - So you'll find new friends, babe. You're not gonna just let my chicken die. My kids pets chicken. - Right. - A pet that was also helping to bring some peace and normalcy, you know, settling into the dynamic with all of this, and you have chickens and I took care of your chickens. While you were away, you let my kids chicken die. - It's a wrap, but not before I cut you out. - Yeah. - Try not to cuss her out. Try to, try your, do your best. - Yeah, do your best, but I mean, do your best, if you actually want to still be friends with her, but I think I would be like, at this point, I don't care what I say to you, 'cause I don't care if we have a speak again, like. - Bear. - So you, only you can make that decision, but I fully understand and I agree with you. If you're like, maybe most people don't think of chickens as pets or like something to be attached to, but you can get attached to any living thing. You can get attached to non-living things. As a child, I used to rotate my teddy bear. So none of them would feel left out or like I didn't love them. Oh, I used to rotate who got to sleep next to me at night. (laughing) 'Cause I didn't want nobody's feelings to be hurt. So, you can get attached to anything, child. - So true. - Yeah. - Yeah, I mean, if this was like a pet scorpion and this happened, I would be pissed off for you. And I don't understand why anybody wants to be. - Even keeps those, right. Even, why do you even think that? - I had a pretty little habit of living, right? - And I was like, right? - Not even mouth. - That is, yeah, mouth's even, but a rat. - A pet rat? - That's the thing. - I mean, this was like 20 years ago, but I was just like, girl, the fuck has a rat, yuck. So yeah, I agree. This, wait, we don't have a problem. It's the way you act like you just don't give a shit what happened. Like, you didn't even call me? - Hey, sorry. - When I told you my chicken is dead, you didn't even call? - That doesn't make sense. - That chicken and you were supposed to take care of. - Like, I would have called you if you would just been like, I woke up this morning and Abigail was dead. - Right, even if I didn't-- - But Abigail was dead. - The next lecture, right. Even if I didn't, the next lecture chicken, I still would have called, wow, wow, yeah. - Yeah, she sucks. - I'm sorry, that really, that blows, but it would be hard for me to get over it. over that one, I'm not going to lie. - Woo! - That's how the kids didn't see the check-in. - Ooh, the nine-year-old probably did. Oh, poor baby. This is why Laney only goes with people who are licensed, bonded, insured, all that because if something happened to my child, you're getting sued. (laughing) Literally, I got a scope of place out. - Yeah. - I'm not. - Oh, yeah, no, I'm going on visits. And she got to go there for daycare a lot before I tried to show the keeper overnight. - Yeah, yes. - We feeling this out, 'cause do she even like y'all? Do she even like it over there? - Yeah. - So I'm a paid-of-five every time. - But I get the videos. I can be as a first city. - Oh, yes, every day. (laughing) - Sitting up in the office in this blade chair. Would have just captions like, "Well, Lynx, running the office today "as usual, close to close." - Yeah. - There's the same shit in Harlem. - Yeah. - She runs the place. (laughing) - Oh, they sent me a picture. - Oh, but she almost got her ass killed. She runs with Korea. - See, I, and I knew I shouldn't have said no. - Oh, she really didn't. It wasn't that bad, you know? - I know it's not that bad. I thought he was like something about his pants. (laughing) - No, but Lynx's daycare sent me a picture of her on her dog bit. And the worker was carrying around Lynx on, sitting on her dog bit. And they were like, "Yeah, she's full of princess "and the pee today." (laughing) So normally when I'm like traveling and crying because she's not with me, they'll send me some pictures and she's having the time of her fucking life. I'm like, "Okay, just carry her ass." - Just cartwheel. - And a passenger. - Yeah, yeah. - On the Nile bit. - Yeah, they treat all like royalty. - They sent you her sex tape, so. I mean, - It's pretty wild. - Listen, she goes to daycare and she has a good time, okay? - Damn sure does. - I wish you could go check in somewhere that's full of baddies who want to eat your pussy and then you get to go home to a full meal and a nice nap. See, y'all are just jealous of Lynx because you want her life. - Pretty privilege. (laughing) (laughing) - What an idiot, that was a good one. - Now, had it been bluey to bring her up on that stage and would have been totally different. - Completely. - Me, you bitches. - Uh, okay. - Sorry about the chicken love. - Yes, sorry chicken, buddy. Good luck moving on, but yeah, I get your anger here. All right, let's cut the letters right there. Again, if you have a question you'd like to ask us, send us an email, [email protected]. We'll be right back. - We're back ladies and germs. It is now time for our segment that we call the read. I'm not trying to make mine quick. It is two quick things. One, David Johnson, I mentioned earlier, Star of Alien Romulus, The Long Walk. I think he was an oasis man. He has been brought in to the MCU by one Orion Kubler, via Marvel Studios to play the son of T'Challa that we were introduced to in The Last of My Panther, Bill Motonda forever. He is going to be ushered in as the new Black Panther in Black Panther. Three, I'm very excited about it. I knew that this was going to take place. I just didn't know who was going to be playing the character. But apparently y'all had a lot of choices. A lot of you had many, many opinions and it seems like most of you feel like Europeanian is the sensible, valid, educated and professional one. It isn't, it isn't because your name's not Ron Kubler and you don't work for the MCU. So your opinion, your demands are relevant. Now, I don't think there's anything wrong with being like, I really want to see this person play this character or this person be perfect for that role. I think it's fine. Especially if you're talking about an existing IP or whatever, but when someone's cast and then you're like, ugh, well, that shit's going to flop. - Oh yeah. - 'Cause it really should have been fucking moneybag, yo, or whatever. What are you? Oh, the next one. You don't know shit. Shut the fuck up. What movie have you cast ever? Pipa, I don't hear you. - Yourself and your TikTok skit? - With the 30 views and the three likes, I wouldn't be leaning on that. - Shut up. - Rob Gugler has an Academy Award. - And his movies are good. - He has smashed the box. Yes. - They're good. They're good. - Miss Bapes. - He's fine. I trust Rob Gugler over random internet user. I do. - It's just the incessant and unnecessary bitching. Of course, being like this person to be cool or I thought this person to be cool or I'm looking forward to this. We do it all the time for whoever will be playing Storm, right? But if they cast LaShana Lynch, I'm not gonna be like, well, should have been Cynthia Bailey. Like what does that do? Especially as a black person talking about black art. That I have no reason to believe will be terrible. - Right, right. So I wanna also just nitpick at two specific things that I've been seeing spoken about as far as this. One being the age of David Johnson when three things. One being the age of David Johnson compared to Letitia Wright. They're both the same age. Some movies Letitia Wright's sherry is playing is would basically be the aunt of this character. - Right. - So Niggas are like, well, how the fuck is she gonna play his aunt when they're the same age? - Well, this is pretend. - Okay, so there's a sitcom from just before my childhood. It's called The Golden Girls. My favorite sitcom. - Oh, what? - There's a character in the show named Sophia, who plays the 80-something-year-old mother of one of the lead characters, Dorothy. It's born-act. With my head, I was just seeing Beatrice. - Did you know that Estelle Getty, who plays Sophia, is younger, was actually younger than Be Arthur and played her much older mama and many people didn't even realize that the lady won't older enough. - Yeah. - Was, in fact, younger. It's called acting. It's called makeup. It's called Make Believe. That's where I'm gonna start. Where I'm going to end is that we're talking about superhero Make Believe fantasy magic shit. We're wrapping up a saga called Multiverse. You watched the last Avengers movie that heavily, heavily revolved around time travel. So, is it out of the realm of possibilities that these niggas could act alongside each other and it just be a multi-verse time traveling situation where they do same age, but that's my uncle. Did you not watch any game where niggas got blipped back into the, or post end game? When niggas got blipped back into the world after five years, Ant-Man going up to see his daughter who was eight, not a bitch like 15, or what, why are we struggling? Why are we struggling? Why are you nitpicking? Oh, another British actor. - Let's just write it, let's just write it's British. - I said, another one. Wow, how dare you with the diaspora. - And it's not even like, oh, why not an African actor? Why not? Y'all don't even know what you want. You want them to hire, like, young Miami or something. Like you want somebody from here, which doesn't make any sense. - Lastly, they want somebody from Wakanda. - Lots of people. Lots of people were saying, "Damson Idris." Like, they were dying to see this nigga play, Black Panther. - Oh. - Damnson Idris, British. - Right. - Damnson Idris. - The lead male for Children of Blood and Bone. - Oh. - Which again, I'm gonna encourage you to watch the trailer. - Beautiful. - Not incredibly unlike the imagery and tone of Black Panther. Lower, very different. Basis very different. - Damn, a three-minute trailer. Goddamn. Save some, put a movie. - They even put a-- - Oh, they got Beyonce. - It's a song, yeah. - That's how you got me. - I was like, okay, energy did not need to go in here. - You fired them for skinning? (laughing) - Okay, I'll put it through the trailer. - But when you watch that trailer, are you seeing-- - Are you seeing contacts? - Oh, get me out of here. Sorry, go ahead, finish what you was saying about it. - So you're not getting damnson as Black Panther, but you're getting him as Blood and Bone Panther. Your holes are ungrateful. And you'll complain about any fucking thing and I'm tired of it. We're getting another Black Panther through all of it, through the tragedy of Chadwick Bozeman passing through the MCU basically being tits right now to this other Black man being ousted as the next Thanos because of a domestic assault case. We're getting a Black Panther III with a talented actor, with an award-winning director that has never steered us wrong. And then they're watching then it. And we know that because then they're watching and didn't give a fuck to tell us. Why are you bitching talking about this person's not gonna sell tickets, he's not gonna pack out theaters. I guarantee you who he is, he is. Because there are more people who are happy, excited and supportive of this than niggas bitching about it than you. You're gonna go watch it regardless. So I don't even know why you run EMF. And Ryan Kugler is the director. So he's gonna sell tickets regardless. And, Denzel Washington's gonna be in the fucking movie. What do you want? Does your boss know you wasting our time? There's a greater overarching conversation here about us like nitpicking at unnecessary things when it comes to our art. - Yeah, yeah. - Like color contacts in the, I'm joking. - I could not trust that window fast enough. Ooh, I couldn't get out that tap fast enough. - I don't know why I forgot about that. I should have at least given you a disc. - You should have, 'cause I was supposed to look at that. I'm not looking at that. - They're probably gonna give storm color contacts in the MC's as our eyes are blue. - Right, and storm is a mutant. Are the children of blood and bone mutants? - UAPA. (laughing) - And you didn't think I knew that. (laughing) - Thank you, I'm not even human. - Work. - Lastly, I want to talk about the Anthony Joshua fight really quickly and mostly, specifically, I want to talk about you also have a nerve to disrespect my baby father and act like it was like rigged. - Oh. - So Anthony Joshua fought Christian Pranga. - Oh, he is cute. I had to Google him. - Yeah, we have children together, calm down. - Oh. - Okay. No, he's like my favorite boxer right now, not just because he is fine, but also because he's black, he's incredibly good at what he does. And I don't know how he is with women, but outside of that, he seems like a really good partner. - That's true. - He's like the type of person who know everybody name when he walk into a room greets everyone, great with kids, but he also can fight. And he got that like, that like child of Tyson spirit in him. 'Cause Tyson, for me at least, terms of boxing, go. - Okay. - Not just because he had hands, but he had, he has that spirit where he could just look at his opponent and they'd be like, I don't know if I want to do that. (laughing) As soon as your spirit is broken, I'm going to wreck you. - Damn. If you fight scary, you likely to get your ASB. - Got you. - So, yeah, I'm a big fan of AJ. Also, he hasn't fought anybody since he knocked out Logan Paul. And not long after that, he was in an accident that took the live up to his very, very close friends. - Oh, that was him, yes. - So this is first fight since then. So I was very, very happy that he got that second round knockout of this time, because that first Ronald was looking shaky. That first round was looking shaky. And this is how I know I'm a sports fan. I was in here, hollering, like y'all bitches do at the finals. Like y'all holes do at the Super Bowl. When he knocked that man out, I was afraid that someone was gonna send the police here to shoot my dog. I'm so serious 'cause I was like, in fact, let me back up from the microphone and take a give you like a real time. - I see. Yeah! Like it was one of those. Because first of all, I get excited when I see somebody beat somebody else's ass. - Yeah, you do. - I'm feral in that way. But also someone who deserves it and underdog story and it was looking weird. So, specifically to the people who are saying, oh, it was a rigged for one reason or not. Do you watch fighting? Do you know anything about fighting? Do you understand how it works? - Nope. - There have been countless, I might have just fucked my throat up bro. There have been countless fights where somebody is wrecking a bitch for 10, 11 rounds and then gets cold cocked at the end and then that's there. So, this wasn't even really that. They had one round result, it was looking real sketchy. AJ was doing a lot of hug and like, that right is not coming over here again. - Yeah, I've got you. - But by the end of that first round, I could tell Pringle was like, okay. Okay, this nigga ain't going in a couple of them legs. I felt them. - Came back second round, even though how long do you, the whole fight was like six minutes. - Oh, damn. - Grand Closer. - I knew off of it. If he kits this nigga with a good cold heart, he's going to shatter this man's spirit and wrap this up and that's exactly what fucking happened. Still walked away with a black eye. So, I don't understand why y'all are hating on the father of my children so intensely, like they're professional fighters. This is how fighting works. He won that fight because he trained very, very diligently for a very, very long time. - Yeah. - And because he was better at fighting. - And he does, he does do that. - Get off his dick, that's my job. No, I really just, he's an amazing fighter. And he's like, I think my favorite boxer right now. - Okay. - Okay. - Five minutes. At least I watched the whole card, girl. If there's anybody to clear that I'd be happy to clear shit up in two rounds is him. He got a knock that nigga on 30 seconds and I would have been sharing. But, where any of the other fights? - Good. - No, there was another fight that was really T. I can't remember. - Hmm. - Okay. - That's it. Anybody rigged on motherfucking fight? Okay, Prankas Bat got rigged to the motherfucking floor and second round babes. That's what happened. Cold cock, three good ones, wham, wham, and another one. And another, hmm, they just met the black man one. I don't know, everybody get up in black. I don't know. - No, I don't know. It's just, he's like a celebrity, I think, now. - Anthony Joshua is. - He's like a priest. I don't know. Yeah, he's one of the biggest boxers right now. - Oh, okay. - So, even in just like in the fighting world, you would have someone that's just like beloved or whatever. I think that's just, in most interesting stories I get if people just like, "Oh, I think it's gotta go." - You got to go. - One thing to tell. - Oh, I love it. It's just small. I think that's what some of what it is. - Yes. - That's another part of the reason why I like fighting so much because it's a place where shit talking is expected. - It feels like it's a part of the experience, regardless of how you do it because you're literally getting ready to beat each other up. - Right. - And if individual, right. Like you yourself have to back up the shit you talk about. - Right. Yes. - He goes from T, but, you know. - And one, we go into a, to Tyson Fury next. - Oh. - And one. - I said it. - And one. - And one, what, like the shoes? No, what an end one make. Didn't they make a peril? - Oh, and one. Okay. I was like, why are basketball terms in basketball terms? - Okay. - But isn't and one also a-- - Yeah, yes, it's at leisure. - Okay. - And it's a-- - And it's a underwear. - And, and tournament. - Oh, okay. Yeah. - I think. - What for the key? - It's also an end one festival or tournament or something. And where are basketball players go? - Love that. - And one live. - And and one fast. And one first division. - Yep. - And and one. - No, that's not. - Yep. - Okay. So, love all that fighting Jabbie Jab punch punch. - Correct. - And hook. - Oh yes, hook. - Upper cut. - Upper cut. - But, um, okay. So this actually, I was tagged on TikTok like 30 times and I was devastated to see this. So, Dee Dee Magno Hall, who is the voice actor for Pearl of Stevie Wonder. - Oh, I heard him talk to his-- - Somebody went through her following on Instagram and found out that she follows a lot of right-wing MAGA accounts, including turning point USA and the dead Charlie Kirk. And although she does not follow Donald Trump, I guess that's where she draws the line. - Oh, yeah. - Her whole Instagram is just Bible, American flag, White Husband, you know, it's very giving, it's giving focus on the family, type vibes, et cetera. And so, this is what I'm saying. Not only did you play a lesbian and maybe you didn't think about it 'cause I, I, I, I was like, what is happening to my world view? Like, uh, everything that I thought was real is crumbling. (laughing) And somebody said that they had met her at a con or something and first of all, she's saying, um, was it over? is a big deal. It I think yeah, so she sang that but then she kept singing him instead of her It's like don't be that straight. That's so annoying like just sing the fucking song Diane just sing the goddamn song So there's that but like girl not only did you play a lesbian you played like the Diakiest lesbian like this is the most lesbian She was literally in love with this girl for like 5,000 fucking years and even when she left her for a man And had that nigga a baby and killed herself to do it She was like well now I got to raise her son. That is how deeply in love. She was That's how deeply in love she was with this woman they they were rock dikes for eons You and once you did her jacking performance Ha Yes, even in the episode when she went with With Steven and his daddy to empire city and they did the musical number. She had on a fucking suit with tails like she's a day How are you? I don't know. How are you This felt personal because Mm-hmm a lot of people have said crystal you're kind of anal like pearl and I take that compliment because Yeah, although pearl, you know, she could be a bit much. They would have fell apart and died without her many many times Like Virgo's are annoying and necessary. I'm sorry. It is what it is y'all need us every y'all Y'all be mad at the perfectionist until some shit need to be perfected and then you wonder right you looking for me Wanted around where I'm at How the same bitch who trained Connie to help Steven in battle is How can that person be a fan of Charlie Kart? I mean Pearl has nothing to do this one you right, but it feels this is it does This is like joke Rowling like what do you mean? This is a beloved series that means I have a lot of Steven universe shit in my home I've got the fucking soundtrack on vinyl I got all the little and I got all the little figurines bobble heads and Funko pops and all that got assigned I have an autograph poster with your autographs probably fucking on the poster Literally, I have all the moon niggas. I have all them little Funko pops everywhere. I only had to take three steps to pick this lesbian bitch up Why why To even take a Pearl song and straight it is just girl Like leave that beloved sweet innocent care mostly innocent character Of your hateful bullshit the only way this could be worse if it if it was a still cuz I'm sorry. I'm sorry. She cannot ruby and sapphire's voice artists Cannot be homophobic cannot be maca cannot be like I'm sorry. I just Yeah, I don't know who she is Outside of Pearl even in the later Seasons when Bismuth came back and all of a sudden Pearl was talking our air behind our ears and showing a little bus How is it that you can be this I was so I mean when I say Pointed I didn't even know I still had expectations for celebrities or actors, or I didn't even know I still had standards for these people until this came out sick Like what do you want why did he and then the comments the Filipinos was like oh, y'all don't have no filipino Antis and it shows unfortunately This is how they do. I'm like damn damn. I mean, I'm not gonna say cuz I don't know y'all culture like that But they say yeah, I do have quite a few of them gen X Filipino aunties and they don't give a fuck about none of that like They'll be they'll act like You know like there is certain shit that don't bother them like they when they around joke a friends They won't say nothing outwardly crazy or just like so homophobic they have they know the line But baby in private I'm like this ain't even private. Did you know we could go through and see who you was following who you was supporting right? Did you know you can be a jeep follower without being a Charlie Kirk fall that's the thing if you were just religious That would be fine cuz nobody cares, but you tapped in with the hateful niggas. What is that about? I would love I would have loved for you to do like a reaction Those reaction series where you and Charlie Kirk watch Charlie Kirk would have had a meltdown Probably they're showing this to our children. He probably wouldn't anyway That man was a fierce advocate for Christian nationalism. He was a terrible person this This really And she ain't said nothing about it which leads me to believe this is not one of those oh well, you know I just don't want my social media to be an echo chamber You got to be you got to follow the opposition to see what they say Well, blah, you know sometimes journalists will do things like that for example, but you're not that No, you're not that and if somebody went through my following and saw some crazy like this and now I'm trending on threads and tick-tock because of it I would have gotten on Instagram and said whatever I needed to say in order to clear it up if I wasn't a Charlie Kirk fan But see but see It's been days and she ain't said nothing almost like oh, I guess I'll just figure it out. Well Shows over so kiss my ass like damn damn It's so fascinating to me the people who like consider themselves like like so religious or like Like in a radical sense that they will just here Things coming out of a place is like turning point Mao's like truly Charlie Kirk or who claim to like lead with Christian values first And it's just like oh, well, I love God. You don't love God. What's wrong with you. I'm gonna sit over here with these people, right and but you like Do you just like your water your ears fill up with water when you hear all of the other things right? These don't matter all of a sudden like what is it? What is it Said not Pearl show and you know it's worse than sugar light because I can just skip Nicki Minaj's episode I don't really want her to Light is it's very easy to realize that this is a sugar light episode and keep going pearl is in every goddamn episode of this series And so do I don't speak in that one episode right right? Pearl is an integral part of the program. I'm just glad this is not Rebecca Sugar and It never would be I think I would cry no Right because you know don't ruin my whole goddamn franchise. Okay, like I can still support Steven Universe because D.D. Magnohal did not create Steven Universe and and Rebecca Sugar. I'm sure would literally Would literally never that that non-binary is not gonna do it. So I'm not even worried about that, but I know There is gonna be Every time I watch Steven Universe in the back of my head is gonna be Every time Pearl talk damn damn. That stinks. This bitch would it this bitch would would actively fight against them like you you would be You would do everything you could to legislate them right out of existence. How how dare you? I'm gonna do some little fury imagination shit and just tell myself that that voice is a is a From another. Oh, yeah, a lot of you show. She really hates that lady. Hmm Like this is the the good Got you whatever I name it because I don't even know what they're like look like no shade. So Yeah, I didn't until this right I didn't until this but yeah, this it really hurt my feelings more than anything because Steven Universe is one of my top three Programs of all-time across all genres and so To have a key character act like the actor act like this is just yeah Devastating you know, let's talk about how like wholesome the show is. Yeah, how it moves with such amazing intent. It's Not overbearing and anyway, it's very very focused on the story that it's telling without feeling like it's trying to shove any one ideas thought theme into your mouth are into your head and mind But you can still feel the intent behind it right which is to me as always Been to make people of all ages feel seen and heard and felt and comfortable and and like open their mind to What it like fun accepted imaginative being oh man, and yes, in self acceptance that could that is seen to me like that intent, all the more in Steven Universe future. - Yeah. - Which just brings me right back to, how could you? - How could you? - How could you? - Pearl. - Pearl is such a fucking dyke, bro. How, how did you get through it? How did you even get through all of the scripts? I don't, we're just sitting there like a check is a check. - So on this earth and this reality, Pearl basically, she didn't get rose. And so what happened is that she developed internal homophobia. - Oh. - Patriot. - Period. - She turned to, you know, dark side. Our Pearl, as we know it, from the Steven Universe. - There we go, there we go, yes. - That's the real Pearl. - This is the kind of lies and delusions that I can tell myself until I eventually forget that this even happened. (laughing) - So that's what we can do. (laughing) - Make some shit out, chill. - I'm just glad, once again, I'm just glad it's not Rebecca because then I would have to cancel the program itself and that, I would have to go in morning. So, and then right, and then scoop up all of our Steven Universe. - Right, oh no. And then the read will be on hiatus, 'cause what do you mean? - What do we have to say time off? - We have to cope. (laughing) - There's a Steven Universe art book right behind me on the wall. - You got a giant garnet (laughing) doing like a-- (laughing) - Right fucking there, garnet's right there. It's like a lifestyle poster. (laughing) - Asia Barbie, Asia, Asian Barbaralee. - Oh, can't do anything like that. - People garnet acrylic painting for me. Shout out to you, girl. - Yeah, man. - Yeah, Steven Universe matters. - It does. - Bigly. - A lot, a lot. So. - Dear she. - I'm just trying to count my blessings that it's not Big Beck acting like this, but wow, DD, wow. - I couldn't see it. - No, no, no, no. - No, because Rebecca actually is queer, see? - Yeah. - So. So, you know, you know. - I know, I know, babe. Hopped into a group chat like. - This. (laughing) - Bitch. (laughing) - This bitch. - Ah. - It further gives me the Ick that she would sing that song and change the lyrics. - Right, right. - Pearl is not you. You are not Pearl. This is not your property. - Right. - It's not a character you created. - Yeah, and they were saying they didn't know if she was doing it on purpose. Like she would say him and then correct it and be like her. But it's like, does that mean you went around singing it a different way to yourself? - I would never say him if I was singing that song 'cause I never have. It's her. Those are the original lyrics that's how it's recorded. That's how it's been her the whole time. So that leads me to believe that you sing it privately to yourself and you just put men in. You just changed the pronouns. But why would you do that? That's so weird. - She probably gay. - You know, she's probably gay. - I hate to say it, but she probably gay. - She's probably gay. But this ain't the way to express it, Diva. - You gotta do that very nice. (laughing) - You gotta work through whatever you're answering. - Charlie Kirk. So. - Oh, she probably just liked him 'cause he was Christian. Charlie Kirk is Christian the same way that I'm an American in name only. Please be for real. Please be for real. - She probably, she was probably like, well, Sugalite is up on stage. So I don't understand why. (laughing) - No. - She was booked. I'm just a fan. - Right. - Won't you mad at me for where? - I'm gonna go. - We coming off a lot. - Girl, yes. Exactly. Fuck both of y'all, but you're not going ruined this perfect show for me. Kiss my ass. - Not at all. - Oh. - Not mine. - Not my emotional support Steven Universe. - I'm not Steven Universe Universe. - No. The way I actually own Jim Stone's now because of that show, leave me alone, bro. - Girl, I know them. I know them. - I know Stone's now because of that show. - You won't take this away from me. I have this, not only do I have this Steven Universe game. I'm pretty sure I came on here at one point and read the mobile company that made that game like whizing it on the switch. - Attack the light, yep. - Yes. - That was such a fun game too. - It's really good. - It is. - Lady move around. - Yeah. - Fuck her. - Fuck right off, girl. You won't take this from us. One of the most loving character arcs in the show too because she comes off as just being super anal and judgemental and all of this other stuff and to organize and you get to know a bit more about her. And you realize all of the things that she was dealing with at the time, loyal, she had been to the cause and to this person and feeling completely undervalued. - Right. - And to find her in the rest of the system and then looking after her chick that she had with this human ex-girlfriend's child who is a minutes like he just be fucking shit up all the time and want them to eat like they don't even have a purpose for eating and just want to tag along. And all of you like are you kidding me? Raising my ex-girlfriends baby that she had with this bomb ass and it got like. And Pearl had the fierce assumptions. - Oh, did, did, yeah, something. All I wanna do is see you turn into a giant woman. - A giant woman. - Now imagine I'm singing them like a giant man. - Yeah. - A giant man, like. - Like, yuck, yuck. - Boo. - Yeah. - Fuck you girl. - JK Rowling, my the one with Harry Potter, but you won't. (laughing) - You're gonna be like a woman. - You're gonna be like a woman. - Yeah. into her mind and then into her mind and into her mind and into her mind and into her. What the most about that episode of the whole fucking series, you're not taking it away from me, bitch. You're not. I think what we're saying here is if you guys haven't watched it, you got to, there's no reason to wait. And especially if you haven't seen it, but you bothering me about Avatar, or whatever it's called, I'm in the, I'm in the element. See now you're getting personal. He's definitely a, and the issue with that is that when M. Night Shyamalan made that Avatar film that is legitimately still one of the worst films ever made and I'm not saying that it's, it's, it's widespread, yeah, reactions that I've found. He decided for absolutely no reason to refer to that character as on, oh, even though it's always been Ang, it's never been anything, but oh, it's, so here you come reopening old people, I didn't even know that I had no idea, wow, that's never been my business, but see, I think one day you'll watch it, and you'll be like, okay, this is cute, but you're not gonna like it as much as Steven Universe. No, I'll watch it when I'm 75 and no one cares, yeah, just a piss y'all off, that's fine. You're not gonna like it as much as Steven Universe, it's very good because it has like, a lot of the same lovable child, like Steven is a lot like Ang, because they're both very, very powerful, they don't understand how powerful they are and they're a little bit more occupied in being a child, even when they, a lot of times they have to take things more seriously and people around them are like, girl, get up off that girl, we have to save the world. Like so. Steven's like, not without art together, I break this. Right. Like, okay, just let me grab a cookie cat and do it. Which if you don't get your, and that would be Pearl, snatching his little dumb ass up. Come the fuck on, Steven, before you get blasted with some of the reeds. Yeah. Okay, so the watermelon is you, what else can I do? I don't know, the one where Steven had cat fingers, I can't look at that, but the one where the-- That one was very strange. That freaked me out. That one was-- Oh, back. What was the strain when you wrote this shit girl? Oh, my God, I love the one where they all have the beach day with the, the family that has the pizza shop. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, Reagan Gomez voices those, those girls love that. Oh, yes. And I love the one where the pizza shop man gets into it with the fried shop man. Yes. Perfect. That's Steve. Oh, fuck it. That one is so funny. Because that man was like, oh, bitch. You and, you, you stepping on my tear, oh, you selling fries, oh, I'm going to sell pizza. You don't sell good fries and you don't sell good pizza. Everybody needs to stick to what the fuck they know. But yeah, anyway, excellent show and fuck that lady, you ain't, you won't rest shit over here, bitch. Yeah, not bad, you may not bad for you.
