A Week of Father's Day, A Drive-By Beauty Contest, and My Accidental Elevator Toot
82m 2s
In this episode of *Andy Cohen’s Daddy Diaries*, Andy and co-host John Hill discuss Andy’s Father’s Day weekend, which started early with excited kids bringing him signs at 5:45 a.m. Highlights included a screening of the Minions movie (which John was not invited to, much to his mock dismay), a playground visit, a rare family breakfast, and a barbecue with his "dad squad" of gay friends, where Andy gave an emotional toast about their support. He also admitted to taking an edible, which made him feel calm and reflective.
Andy shares an awkward morning elevator incident where he passed gas in front of a SiriusXM employee, heard it through his noise-canceling AirPods, and felt mortified, joking about how to find the woman anonymously. He then recounts his LA trip for *The Valley* reunion, criticizing American’s new first-class seats as "caskets" and a hotel bed’s sagging middle. At the hotel bar, a fan told him he’s "nicer than people think," which he found insulting. He later had dinner with B.J. Novak and was captivated by Brooks Nader’s looks, sparking a playful conversation about attraction and possible threesomes.
John discusses his successful stand-up show, which he prepared for thoroughly for the first time, and his weekend at Mother Disco and Rawhide. The episode also touches on Jackie Warner’s compliment, Charles Oakley’s visit, and Andy’s first-time farting in front of his boyfriend and trainer, leading to a lighthearted discussion about bodily functions in relationships.
Hey, it's Andy Cohen here with this week's chapter of Andy Cohen's Daddy Diaries podcast. The high highs and low lows of my life is a daddy to two kids and dozens of housewives. Joining me is always is my co-host John Hill. Hey John. Hello. Darling, this week I recap the Valley reunion my father's day weekend, my accidentally work, my accidental work elevator toot, may have given a random guy body to sleep. This morphea, my kids wanted to watch me shower, all sorts of boundaries were broken. I mean, I was published in architectural digest. I got in a fight with a chat pot, and a whole lot more. This is Andy Cohen's Daddy Diaries podcast. Monday June 22nd, 2026. Good morning everybody. It's very overcast. Is it going to rain or not? Yeah. It is. Post it all afternoon. Oh, is that true? Yeah. Oh God. Got a schlep to the gym and the rain today. Yeah. Great. Good morning John. Oh, starting at around 1130 it's going to start. Oh, good. I precipitating. Oh God. Good morning. Good morning. How are you? I'm very good. I'm a little duck on your shirt. This is from my favorite brand that I found in Madrid. I found it available here yet. Well speaking of you finding brands in Madrid, Ben put on his Spain. I saw that. Sure. Today. It looks great. It actually looks perfect. It looks absolutely perfect. Yeah. And he came in and I go, wait, I said this is crazy that you're wearing this because I had said to him last week I go, where's that Spain jersey? I go, it's the World Cup, dude. You have a jersey from Spain. Anyway, he remembered it on his own. I was like, oh, okay, that's good. It's a nice top. It's a great top. We are coming off Father's Day. Happy Father's Day. Thank you. I had such a nice Father's Day. It started at 545 in the morning. You know, my daughter is so bad at keeping a secret. It's like so on Saturday, she was, they were making me signs. And of course, she walks in my room. She's like, daddy, I go, yeah. She's like, there's nothing for Father's Day. I go, okay, okay, very good. She's like, but we'll tell you tomorrow. I'm like, okay, very good. Anyway, they were so excited to bring me their signs at 545 in the morning yesterday, but we had a really, really nice day and nice weekend on Saturday, Universal Let Me Host A Screening of the Nominions movie. Oh my God. I should have invited you to come with the kids. How would you have come into the city for that? Yes. Oh, shit. I'm sorry. It's okay. It was really good. Okay, good. It's like the minions make a movie. And it's, it's a little meta this movie. I mean, there's like a movie within a movie within a movie, but they loved it. And it was really fun. Ben ate a like five gallon thing of popcorn. And your kid eats something like that. All I think about is the poop he's going to take after. And popcorn really does a number on poop. It does, doesn't it? It's so salty as well. Yes. Oh God. I mean, it is good. By the way, can I make a confession? I was in the elevator this morning with this woman who works at Sirius because she got that. We're on two floors, 35 and 36. Do you already know the story? I'm going to tell you. Is this re-reached you? No. Okay. Did you find it? I was standing. I got in. I was in the back of the elevator. She was in the front. I don't know what I expected. But yes, not only did I pass cash. Are you sure? No, I did not. But I guess I just expected it to be silent. And by the way, when you're in an elevator with one other person, I mean, it's just where your AirPods in. Yes. Because that can kind of distort your perception of volume. Guess what? I heard it through my AirPods. Were they on noise cancellation? Yes. Oh God. And I heard it. And I was like, oh my God, this is so embarrassing. So I slowly look up to see if this gal had hurt your plugs in. She didn't. And I was like, okay. And now I'm wearing a bright blue shirt on. I have a gray afro. Like it is, I am unmistakably me today. So anyway, sorry to the gal. Celebrities are just like us. Yes. You farted. It's terrible. I was like, I'm just trying to have the same situation. Everyone probably heard this. My sister just texted me in regards to this story and said, you are your mother. I mean, old people though, they should just fart. I know. Well, I mean, as long as let it go, I guess I'm now that. But it was very, it was pretty embarrassing. I was, it's gay pride. You're loose. I was, no. I was very embarrassed. It was, it was bad. We know what that lady fart's to. Yeah. The elevator was the worst part. I mean, don't forget that I went on a date with a guy who farted in the elevator and that was that. I mean, I'm the face of two channels on this system. I mean, it's bad. Anyway, we went to, anyway, Father's Day was great. We went to the minions movie. It was so fun. Then we went to a playground. We had a really great afternoon after and then they got home and it's the night before Father's Day and they both just decided to become complete assholes. I just send them both to bed early Friday Saturday night. It was bad. It was really bad. But then yesterday they were lovely. We had a family breakfast out yesterday morning, which we never do. And it was so fun. And I went to a lunch for some gay, some gay dads of mine, friends of mine through. That was really fun. And they, and then last night I had a barbecue on my terrace for these gay dads and then Anderson and Benjamin and then Bruce showed up halfway through. And I was sitting there with them and I realized before dinner, I was like, I raised a glass. I was a little in my rosé, but I was like, you know what? You guys are my, you guys here have been like an incredible support system for me as a dad. Like this is my dad squad. And by the way, because of this specific group of dads, my kids have not felt weird about having one dad. And it was just really nice to be with them on Father's Day. It was absolutely lovely. It meant, it meant a lot to me. So that was, that was very nice. It was a really nice Father's Day and one of the gay dads that was there who I had been to his brunch earlier said, wow, oh, after my toast, he goes, did you prepare that toast? I go, no, but I took an edible. So, you know, I'm feeling feelings and he goes, well, just out of curiosity, were you unenetable at my house? And I said, no, not on any level. And he goes, well, you were so calm and you were clear. He goes, it was so chaotic and loud and there were so many kids screaming. He goes, did you, he goes, you cleared up the whole room. Like I bust the entire room. I threw out all the paper plates. Everything. He goes, what, that, he said, I just figured you were like unenetable and that's what you were doing. I said, no, I said, you know what? My boyfriend has made me super calm. I am a calm person with him. So that's, that was nice to kind of realize. Do you think I'm calmer, John? Yeah, I do. Oh, yeah. Well, not the answer I was expecting. Thank you. Yeah, you seem very settled. Yes, I feel settled. How was your show last night, John? It was amazing. Good. Yeah, honestly, you were, you had mentioned and then we, we talked last night, you were, it was like a task. You were like trying out a whole new show. Yeah. And what did that feel like? It felt good because I'd prepared and I never really prepared well or at all. And I memorized the whole thing from start to finish. And so by the time it started, I was ready to go and not nervous. And then like, there was nothing to worry about. It was so, it was kind of easy. Right. And I had just done it for myself and my living room. So it was, I needed to do it in front of people. But it was like, I, it was, it was great. Good.
happy. It was definitely the best show I've ever done and I'm excited to do it again. And for the folks who want to see you, where can they see you? Just for now, I'm taking it slow. I'm going to be at P-Town in the red room of 15th and 17th. And I know we have some radio-handed listeners coming there. Kathy, who called in our show last week. Kathy. Kathy is going to be there. She lives in Truel. Well, by the way, we have the first reviews coming in. Brigham from Albany, just emailed. Saying John's show was great. It was very sharp and funny. Okay, this guy, he was just staying at the hotel and he's a radio-and-y listener and he happened to see my face and goes, "Oh, I'll get it take it to go to the toilet." Are you kidding? No. So that's like, that's amazing. I was happy to hear that because. That's great. Yeah. And I liked that he liked it so much, having not known really much about me. That is really great. Thank you, Brigham. And he stayed after and said hello. Very sweet. Brigham. I went to LA last week, last Thursday, for the Valley reunion. Flew there and their American has debuted a new first class. How's that? So bad. Oh, no. It is. And I will be because my fella has told me that there is a new first class coming up on Delta. It is. But he said it's like a year and a half away. Yes. But I probably will be coming Delta Gurley then. Now, I like my privacy. So the first class on Delta now, it is, I think, two seats together. So I don't want one aisle that is. Well, there's one aisle that is. That is a lot right. The middle is two, but you have a divider, but still it's not the same. Yeah. But you can. I always go in and make sure that I've gotten the seat I want. Right. Well, I want to be alone. Yes. They have crammed what was described by the flight attendant. I go, what is this? And he goes, they are caskets. And I was like, oh my god, they are caskets. They are a, they are two rows of diagonal caskets on either side. They are crammed in. Yes, they are private. Yes, they are. You can lay down on it. Yes, they are flat. And I napped the electronics are very good. You can put your phone down and it charges automatically. I don't care about that. I want to comfort. I got to tell you it was, and of course, once the guy, you know, once I felt like I was in a row of coffins, I was like, well, you can't unsee this. Thank you, Flight attendant. I like a coffins. I am a Scorpio. I like a small tight space. I like a tour bus bunk. I like that. Well, they're not comfortable. Like, at least make it comfortable to lie on. It was rough. Delta has some old planes with the old first class in there. And those are the same. They are diagonal. And everyone can see what you're watching. You don't feel private. It was bad. And then, you know, I get to my hotel. What? I will, you cannot unsee the fact that a hotel bed sag and there's a mountain in the middle. And it does not matter. You can be at the Bruce was at the Ritz in Paris last week. And I go, I bet you the bed sag. Like, it's just it's everywhere. It's an epidemic. I sleep in the mountain in the middle. I think I think more expensive hotels have that. I've never noticed it in cheap hotels. I don't know. I go. So I get to the hotel and I got there at 730 at night. So I'm like, I'm going to draw a bath. I'm going to get a cocktail from the bar, bring it up to my room, listen to music and go to bed, which is what I did. I go down to the bar and I say, and I'm sitting there and I'm talking to bartender and he's making me my drink. And this girl comes up to me at the bar and she goes, my mom and I love you. I said, Oh, thank you. And I'm talking to her and she goes, you know, you're a lot nicer than I think people think you are. And I was like, well, that's bad. And I turn to the to the bartender. I go, well, what do you think of that comment? I'm nicer than people think I am going to be. So like everyone thinks I'm going to be mean. I don't know. I don't know. I think the takeaway is that people who come up to say stuff to you, it never really lands. If you ever want to come up, just say, Oh my God, love your work. Thank you for everything. Just say things. You don't need to really weigh in. Even if you think it's a compliment, it's not. It's never a compliment. Yeah. You're so much better looking than I thought you're so much taller. I think I was going to be ugly. You know, I mean, just not great. We had the Valley reunion. It was really good. Very engaging. We laughed. We cried a lot of tears, a lot of drama. And then I had dinner with BJ Novak after my body. And we sat at the table next to Brooks Nader from Love Thy Nader. Gorgeous. And Baywatch. And Baywatch. She's in LA shooting Baywatch. I stared at her the whole time. She's gorgeous. She is so hot. She's got big boobs. She looks like a Barbie girl. Yeah. Like a Barbie doll. And I like a booby blonde. Yes. I do. I liked Jenny McCarthy. Vicki Gunnvelson. I liked Lonnie Anderson when she came on the scene. That's what, you know, it's very gay guys love that. Gay guys because we want to be that because we want guys to think we're hot. I don't know if it's because we want to be it. But I think the same way that I used to like an international male catalog when I was growing up. It's like a stripper look. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's like very, it's like strippery sexy Suzanne Summers. Palm show. Pam Anderson. I like it. Marilyn Monroe in the first, the first Palm show. Brooks Nader left her dinner and then here's class sent BJ and I drinks. I mean, she came over the table. We talked. She's like, I'm here shooting Baywatch. I go, when are you back? Let's have a drink. Whatever. I'm like, I I'm attracted to Brooks Nader. Like, there's no question. I need to tell my boyfriend. I'm attracted to maybe. Yeah. Maybe I get a pass. Maybe I get a whole pass. What if she has a fantasy about being with two gay guys like Samantha and Sex in the city? Would you guys ever do that? Eiffel Tower, DP? You know what? Here's the thing. It would help me out a lot if there was another dude there. So yes. Yes. How come you can't handle it? Just don't taught me. Yeah, you want someone to pick up the slack. You want to maybe focus on one area. Well, I like, I don't know teamwork. You're a team player. You know who I heard from yesterday? Speaking of teamwork. Telling me I look great and wanting to like text with me about Madonna. Jackie Warner. Oh, wow. I heard from her recently, too. Yeah. So I was very excited to hear. Yeah. Yeah. And I was like, you know what? High compliment. High praise for Jackie Warner. Like a high praise. Yes. The original. Yes. And it less be in telling you you look hot is such a compliment always. I agree. It's like, by the way, it's like a gay guy telling a woman. Now, you know, you are Jackie Warner's Brooks Nader. There you go. Exactly. Maybe we had Angela Oakley in the clubhouse last night. So fun. She had on this next Jersey dress that was so hot. It was so fun having Charles Oakley in the house. Talk to him a lot about the next. We had a lot of Nick's fans showing off. It was great. It was really, really great. What else did you do this weekend, John? I went to Mother Disco at $3 Bill. My friend Tom created this party. He's, you might almost Christopher Street reader on Instagram. Finally went there. I've been trying to for years and have never been around. And I had so much fun. Good. I ran into so many people that I like and love and ran to a friend from college. My friend Matt invited into my show. He came. All my friends from the gym were there. A few bunch of friends. And then I went home and I practiced my show. Did I ran through it twice? And then my friend Manu was DJing at raw hide. So I went to raw hide at 11 p.m. which is a new bar right by my house. I went to the original raw hide in 1999. Yes, of course. So they just revamped it, reopened it. Now it's on 26th Street. I went there and I had such a good time catching up with my friend Jake. They have a back room. It's a kind of a new space. So it was for a minute. It was sparse and then it got crowded. But I only have like an hour in me. So I left around midnight. Okay. My friend did a great job. And then I went home. Then I did my show yesterday. Yes. Yeah. And worked all day on it before. That's great. It was a beautiful day in New York City, yesterday. It was a great weekend. It was great.
I'm so sorry I didn't invite you to that thing Jordan. I'm still mad about it. Yeah. Minions. Minions. I mean, I have had to explain, I have had to have the premise of minions explain to me so many times. They are minions looking for a bad guy to serve. Yeah. I mean, you can't think about it too hard. Right. They're funny yellow pill-looking guys. Right. Yes. They had two minions come out before the movie and after the movie. Like people in costumes? Yeah. I wonder who those people are. Well, you know, they're little folks. But none of the kids really wanted the adults were more excited. The kids were not that excited to get pictures with them, but then after then the kids were all into it. Were they vocalizing? No. They were just quiet. They were quiet. Minions. They were so cute. Andy, are you and your boyfriend at the stage where you can fart around each other? You know what's so funny. I want to say, I won't say who let one rip for the first time. Just break this deal. We were so close. Yeah. Yeah. And we were shocked. I had my train, I had coach Chris, my trainer and famous DJ on my show a few weeks ago. We talked about farting during squats and stuff. I was like, I've never done it in the other day. We were training and I had forgotten about that and I did fart. And I was like, oh my God. I need it. It wasn't funny. You know, trainers, at least Danny, there have been times where I'm doing sit ups or I'm doing this and it like makes you pass. You can't even train in whatever you're letting air out. You're bracing. I, anytime it happens, I'm always like, oh no, move away. I pass cat like wanting to warn him because he's usually like on top of me or helping me or whatever. And he literally every time it's like, I don't care. Yeah, that's what Chris is. They don't care. He's like, listen, if you're not doing it right, if you're not for that. Yes, right. Yeah, they don't care. Eggfarts are nothing. But I mean, this poor girl in the elevator, I mean. And she looked like she was my demographic, I hate to say, you know what I mean? Like she looked like my kind of person. Oh, then she probably loved it. She liked it. If you're listening to the show, call in. Slack me. Or just come down and be on the show. Yeah. Up on the my ass. To lack a deeper analysis. I'm sorry to the serious ex-manployee. I mean, she could rank it, give it a 10 out of 10. Can we send out a all staff email who learned the part? Even now, let me ask you this. There is a way I can send out a little APB. Is there a anonymous way to do? Is there, do you think it is better that this person worked at serious ex-man or worse? Like would it have been better if they were on that law firm on 34? Either way, I think it's bad. It would have been better if it was a random law firm employee. I think, yeah. Because now this person's going to be like, she's spreading it all over. She's spreading it all over. Yeah, you want to know what it's like to work with Andy Cohen? Fardy Cohen. He farms. You know? Okay, I'm going to see if I can figure this out. See if you can figure it out. Because by the way, I wouldn't mind if we had the girl call in on Wednesday morning or something. Yeah, this guy's her voice. And just be like, okay, yes, I know. I just want to know if she noticed in what she was thinking. I'm sure she works on 35 just to make that clear. It's a young gal. Okay. Put in there like they can write in anonymously to the, yeah, they can write you anonymously their experience of that situation. I would like to know the other person's side. And I also want her to know she has a voice. Yeah. Just like your ass. She has a voice. I don't want her to feel unsupported. I don't want her to, you know, I mean, we, you know, tell Adam and HR that I'm, you know, looping around. Where did we just see Adam and HR? Was he just somewhere that we were? I feel like we saw him. Did we see, was he doing another tour walk in Kits by? No, I don't know. My daughter, I read somewhere that girls get all their confidence from ages like we heard we had a caller tell us that was it. Yeah. Did a caller tell us that last week? Well, so I've just been all weekend. I've just been like, I'm like a one man hype squad. So she was, she got in bed with me this morning and I was just sick. I'm whispering in her ear. I'm like, you are strong and smart. You are so strong and smart. But like, why do girls, why don't they just, I mean, why do you need to tell them that this is a dumb question? Like, why don't, why don't they naturally just need that? Yes, yes. I think that is kind of a crazy question. It is a crazy question. But like, well, why do these idiot boys have all the confidence just naturally? I think one thing is like, even if it's subliminal, walking around as a woman in this world, I think the messaging you get is that you are less than and small and not worth as much as the boys. I agree, but are they getting a messaging at three years old? That's what I'm saying. I think they are surrounded by it the way people say hello to them. The people ask them questions is different than they how they talk to boys. Hey, boss, what's up? And with the girls, like, oh, you're so cute. Like, I think it's, they minimize a lot. I don't think it's malicious. It's just the way our society is, which is why I think you're right. But for me, like, these girls are, it's like, do your princess get whatever you want? Well, that's because we're us. And we think that about women. But I think the larger cultural situation is that women aren't respected. Yeah. Well, no, I mean, I totally, I totally agree with that. Yeah. Unfortunately. Yes. But yeah, no, you, but that's how you create change. And creating a woman who does have, she's going to have a lot of confidence. Yeah, I mean, I am, I'm, I'm hyping this young lady up big time. You're doing the world of service. Well, you are. I hope so. I got to tell you something. The way she loves on me though, it is so sweet. And she really, by the way, she's not giving up this kitty cat thing. I mean, it's it, she went back into her like, oh, nah. And yesterday, all day, she was like, daddy, you can do whatever you want because it's Father's Day. It's Father's Day. And then this morning in bed, she's like, it's not Father's Day anymore. I'm like, Father's Day. I'm like, all right, Edith Bunker. I mean, is this accent is wild? I wonder what it is. Well, her nanny is from long time. Okay. So I guess it's that, but I mean, it's so specific. I don't know. You know, it's not like an impediment. Oh, no. Yeah, I don't think it's an impediment. I don't know. Like, is their speech kind of clears up a little bit later anyway? I guess so. But she liked the thing about it is also she likes curling up into me, which is I think part of the reason she's doing this kitty cup thing. Yeah. What little girl doesn't like curling up into her daddy's strong arms. Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Good morning, everybody. I'm Andy Cohen in New York with John Hill, hey, John. Good morning. How's the day? Really good. Good. Yeah. Very good. I gotta tell you that I am a little annoyed. Maybe you can talk me through it. Okay. Madonna is doing all this press for her album. I am sure that I'm not going to be interviewing her. I am a huge fan. Why do you say you're not going to be interviewing her? You might. She's not doing what I've been saying. I mean, Ms. Madonna is doing Grindr and the Abbey like these. She's not. No, I know. I'm telling you, it's not looking like this is I think she goes. I think she's about what's cool. What she thinks is cool. And I think she thinks I'm not cool. And which is fine. I think that it's very easy to look at me and say, well, that guy's not cool. And that's right. Well, I think that that's where she's at. Maybe she thinks you're making. By the way, Scott is nodding vigorously. Yeah, I am. I mean, we've been trying to get Madonna for over 10 years. Exactly. Yeah, she did this grind. Yeah, like John said. Yes. So like, it's not happening. So then I'm just watching all these shitty interviews come out. And I'm like, wow, I could have done. I could do the interview that Madonna fans actually would want to hear or see or whatever. But so any.
I mean, I'm sitting in my gratitude. I'm grateful for what I have. Bbaba, bbaba. Well, yeah, I mean, it's good for your personal talents and skills to know that you could do a great job and to be really going through that and thinking what you would do if you could interview her. That's good. That means you're supposed to be interviewing her. You know that. I also think, well, I get it. She's trying to stay with the quote unquote, cool crowd, the young gaze. There is a generation of people who want to hear from her that are still alive, you know, and like maybe she should think about that as well. But I also think she should zoom out a little bit and think you're at serious XM. There are 33 million subscribers on this platform. Like you're going to be blitzed into every radio in every car that's driving across North America. Well, and that's pretty cool because you want to sell shit. Right. But beyond that, I know the inner view that I do with her will generate so much practice. Exactly. And you're trying to get press that. Right. Right. Yeah. With regards to the cool thing, I don't, I think that you are such a fan and you love her so much that you don't present to her that your shit don't stink and that you love her. And I think that probably telegraphs to her that you are not cool, but you are cool as a thing. Right. And that's not bad. I think that's great. And if she were smart, she'd realize it. I think she needs to get over our attitude. Well, that's not going to happen. She's my daughter. I think if she can go to the Abby, I mean, honestly, she can come to serious XM. I mean, like the Abby, no offense. I love Tristan who owns the Abby. I grew up at the Abby. I just think like if you're judging on a cool scale, like the Abby is not like up here and you're down there. Yeah. Pretty cool. I was walking by. I was walking down Hudson Street yesterday going to get some grilled salmon at Ready to Eat, which is. Which is. Predamined. No, at Ready to Eat. Predamined. Oh, right. That's what Predamined. Yes. No, but ready to eat on Hudson Street, which I love. And it's like, I love that place. They have very healthy food and it's really good. I walk by White Horse Tavern. White Horse Tavern is like this super hetero. Sounds like a whorehouse, a brothel. No, it's great. It's a super hetero kind of bar. By the way, White Horse is where I went with Craig and Austin and Shep after our John Mayor dinner a few hours later. But anyway, there's always there are all these tables in front of White Horse people eating outside. And I walk by and there were these two guys sitting there. Sorry about my hiccups. And this guy says, oh my God, Andy, like, hey, I said, hey, I kind of slowed down. This guy just had like a twinkle in his eye. I was like, I like this guy. And he's like, he goes, oh man, he goes, my mom loves you. He goes, could I get a selfie? I go, yeah, of course. And he's sitting with his friend. I go, you know, do you two realize that you have the exact same haircut? And they go, well, that's funny that you say that because we go to the same barber. And I said, oh, well, just so you know, this barber is given you guys the same haircut. So whatever. So then the guy says, well, which of us do you think has the better haircut? And I go, well, you have the same haircut. So I can't do that. I go, what else do you got? So the guy said, which one of us do you think is cuter? And I said, okay, these are two straight guys. I in their 20s. I said, you want me to tell you who I think is cuter. And go, yeah, I go, when I walk away after telling you which one is cuter, how is this going to be okay? Are you guys prepared? Because one of you is going to win and one of you is going to lose. And I know these kids in their 20s, they can't handle it sometimes. So winner and loser. So they go, yeah, yeah, tell us. So then the other guy who I hadn't taken the photo with, he goes, okay, but let us stand up first so you can see us fully. And I said, okay, so he goes, because I'm much taller than him and you can't tell. So he stands up and he in fact was like six to and the other guy was probably like 5, 11 or something like that. Straight guys really, they value their height. I know. I don't. And you know, Austin Crowell, he's very tall. Right, but if it's a busted face, I don't care how tall you were. Right. So and then the other one said, well, you know, I'm, he goes, I work out more than that guy. And he said, he had like a beefy body. And so they sat down and I said, well, you're better looking to the shorter one. And the other, the tall one was like, wow, I said, I'm sorry, I go, would you like to know what sealed the deal? And they said, yeah, I go, yeah, body. I go, you have a good body. And I said, you, Mr. Tallman, need to spend some time in the gym. If you know, if he wants to attract the gay male, gays, girls don't care about that. Whatever. But I was, yeah, you're right. Don't tell him he's. And I said, I go, look, let's meet back here any year. I go, you go to the gym. No. And you gave him a complex, that's the, you, you've urged into some toxicity. By the way, then I go to the gym. I go to dinner with my fella. And now if I can objectively say, my man is the finance bro. Okay. This is what he is. His wardrobe is not anything that you're going to be thinking about. Okay. It's very nice. It is very conservative. By the way, when we went to chemo, Sabe in Aspen months ago, he got like, he of course finds the one kind of finance bro vest in this place. You know, these finance bros wear those. Right. That's politely. It was like pleated. Yes. He found one in there. I go, oh, this is perfect for you. You're a finance bro. So we walk in the building. Now we walk in my apartment building and my door man, my, my man is wearing a button down shirt, short sleeve blue that is so nondescript and whatever. And my door man says, Hey, wow, love your fit. And I go me and he said, no, him. And I was like, you're cut this man. We get in the elevator and I say to my man, I go, you know, I have like a hundred suits. I walk in and out of this place looking sharp on the daily made up hair done on TV ready. This store man has never once commented on what I look like on any level. And here he is like commenting on this boring. And my guy was like, well, no, I mean, well, it isn't I shirt. I'm like, um, maybe he's not about you. Maybe like Kevin get a compliment. Yes. Well, you're right. You know, you have millions of people watching you all night long saying, how great you look. You don't need your door. Let Kevin have that. Well, listen, I let him have it. But I just thought it was interesting. Well, maybe that maybe your dormant liked that particular color. Yeah, well, maybe he liked that particular cut. Maybe blue. It's very door man. I mean, I was just he wanted to give him a compliment. Yes, listen, he might have thought, Hey, that guy needs something because he's with this guy and maybe he still sees the wind beneath his wings and he needs a pick me up. I made some. What does that have to do with you telling a poor guy that he needs to go to the gym more? He probably is inundated with that on social media and already thinks of a bad body and now you confirmed it. And now he's really happy. Now he has a needing disorder. Now I'm a tax. Now he's shoving creatine up his ass. Whoever you are, you have a perfect, beautiful body. Just the way God intended. You don't need to go to the gym. If you want to contract a gay man, then yes, guess what? Girls don't give a shit. You can't get a gay right, Jordan. If you want, if you want my take on who's cuter, you got to be willing to accept the verdict. You can say who you think is cuter because you have a better body but then don't say you need to go to the gym more. You can leave it at all I said was, let's me back in a year, go to the gym and then I'll reevaluate. If you got out your red marker circle the problem. Yes, whatever. Listen. The other one had highlighted that he goes to the gym. Right. So he said it.
I didn't point it out, but I had noticed I was like, oh, see now this one's got big arms. I like this. Anyway, very excited for our July 3rd show on CNN. Anderson and I are gonna be doing such stupid things and Anderson doesn't know yet. I'm trying to figure out, I keep saying to him, when do you wanna be looped in on everything I've planned? We are drinking beer all night. So I'll be very excited to see Anderson beer drunk, which is what I plan to get him. And that looks like what? Well, we're gonna see. I don't know. What he'll be like beer drunk. You know, is allegedly kind of a man of the people. You know, so we'll see. We will see. July 3rd, you'll be in Berlin, John. I will be in Fire Island. Oh, wow. How long are you in Berlin? Four nights. Oh, okay. Then you come back and you go to Fire Island. Yeah, I'm here for two days and I go right back out there or right out there. I gotta tell you something. I've been having some Fire Island foam out. Well, you're gonna get out there for a second. We're gonna be out there at the same time. Labor day. Yes, I will be out there for a second. I think I'm gonna be there for like one night over Labor Day. Fun. It's fine. Yeah. It is what it is. I'm all locked down now. So the store is closed. Yeah. The candy shop is closed as it were. So you're not polyamorous and open? No. We'll see. It's all the rage. Jordan. Jordan didn't hear from yesterday for this party part show. Yeah, yesterday I inadvertently passed gas in the elevator next to a serious ex-employee. She did it. So Jordan put out like an APB wanting to find the person who was in the elevator with me and she didn't hear back from that person but she did hear back from Adam and HR who wants to know what it's all about. Dying to know. And did you respond to him? I did. Did you tell him? Well, yeah. Andy farted in a friend of mine. And what did he say? He actually never responded. Yeah, because he's looking in his manual to see this is some violation. Adam looks like a woman from behind. Sometimes he had that long hair. So maybe it was Adam. Well, I mean, John, that's. Could you imagine? That's a compliment. That hair is enviable. Yes, it is. I want that long hair. He's got to cut that hair. No, I love it. He is more attractive without it. Again, to your gay male gaze. Yeah, to my gay male gaze. I think a beautiful long flowing quaff is gorgeous. Yes. Actually, Adam, he keeps it very healthy and. He does. He does a really good hair maintenance. All right. Anyway. I had two pieces of my face hacked off and biopsyed the other day. Can you see my nose? On your nose? Yeah, yeah. I can barely. It looks like maybe you had a little scrape or something. Right. I went and got my thyroid bi. Our ultrasound, because I have a little growth that I found in the pre-new Voscan. Yes. Send it to my doctor. He's like, "Okay, it's just right at the size where you do need to have it." The ultrasound did. Okay. And then he was like, "Yeah, okay, you do need to get it biopsyed." So he's like, "Here's the number." Called them. Like, "We can give you an appointment in two weeks." And then she called back. She's like, "Oh, no, you need an appointment with the endocrinologist before you can get a biopsy." And that, the next appointment is in September. And I was like, "Pretend I'm rich. Then what do I do? I don't want to wait to September." What did she say? We're still in talks. I don't want to wait. What if it's doing something bad? I think that the question then becomes to your doctor. Yeah. And you say how urgent is this? I did. And what did he say? He was like, "If you want to use your endurance, you're going to wait to September." Oh. And that's when it all becomes, "I turn into Luigi." Right. Yes. What if I'm dying and I don't know it? Yes. I had to eat. What if those are my three, my next two months to live? I had an advanced cancer blood screening at my doctor the other day. And I had not heard back. Now I also had kind of forgotten about it. I had gotten my general blood work back, but not the cancer thing. So I got a text on Saturday morning being like, "Oh, we got your cancer blood work. You're all fine." I'm like, "That one guy went." I had that done too. It's interesting that you're sending this to me on Saturday. It kind of makes me feel like somebody dropped the ball, but all good. But anyway, my dermot came in just for me on Saturday morning to hack this stuff off my face. And I came home. My kids were so sweet. I was like, "I just had stuff cut off my face." Lucy's like, "Oh no, daddy." I go, "I'm going to lay down." I was, I of course was being such a drama. You're milking it. And I came in. I was like, "I laid down and Lucy's like, can I look at it, daddy?" And she like puts her face right in my face. She's like, "I see it. I see it." I'm like, "Yeah, you do." She's like, "Well, anyway, it was, it was upside." Back with more from this week's Daddy Diaries after this. Wednesday, June 24th, 2026. It's Wednesday. I'm Andy. John's here. Hey, John. Hey, how are you? Good. How are you? What a beautiful day it is. It is gorgeous. Oh, perfect day. Absolutely spectacular. Woo! Hot in the sun, cool in the shade. I mean, it is just, it's perfect out. We are both hunched over. Wait, I do like to scoot down. John and I just had a photo shoot, which I forgot was happening. I came in looking like garbage. You don't look like garbage. You look like trash. Yes, thank you. Well, I agree. And we did this photo shoot. And first of all, they took pictures of John and I talking in our chairs and we had a little tussle because I pushed my chair up to make it look height wise. Like, I was taller than John. If a doctor said, "Hey, John, don't you go to school?" The doctor said, "Hey, John, don't you go to school?" Scott said, "Why don't you go down a little bit so you guys are both even." But Andy interpreted that note to me as he should raise up, which then made him way taller than John. John didn't like that. Well, I just think it's lying. I'm not really into dishonesty. Right. Well, here's, I'm not going to lie to you. I've bad news, Jordan. I just taped Marco Polo. My hair is crazy. I look like Larry Tate from Bewitched and I doubt you're going to be using any of those photos. Just to see you know. I felt like I looked good. I have bad news for you. What? The photos I'm going to get used. Well, you have crazy hair, not? I do. It took me months to get a photographer slot. Our friend? Yes. It took months. You wouldn't believe the harassment. Every day. I have harassed her for months. Well, with all due to her, maybe we should get a different photographer. Oh, no. Well, I mean, she's in, she's here every day. But I think this was more of an official, this has to go on calendars. Yes. It's a process. We could probably take our own photo and just filter it to look amazing, but we can't use it because it's not official. Right. We're a team player. We're a team player on our Instagram account. This was for our Instagram account. Well, that's for all. Multi-purpose, but for social media stuff. Oh, yeah, that's fine. And she's going to, she's going to want to see the pictures. You're going to retouch it. Can't we touch this hair? Oh, yes, she could. She could put it through a little AI hair filter. Is there any news about the gal that I passed gas in the elevator with? No. Oh, wait, you never heard? I was all over Slack. Try to figure this out. Did you have to explain? Did you put it out there that the person you were looking for was in the elevator with me when I passed gas? Well, we talked about a choice on the air. So at this point, what is like? Well, I mean, that seems very official. What is your post like? Hey, did you hear Andy Cohen fart today? Or was it more like two common diplomatic? My initial call out was, did anybody ride the elevator with Andy Cohen this morning? I have a question for you. Just general. That everyone was dying to know what this is. What is it? And then they were like, the person's probably afraid to come forward. So then I was like, this is a good thing. I just need something happen in the elevator. I need your side of the story, but this is fine. And then I got a lot of side slacks. And I was like, he farted in the elevator. What are you doing? There you go. Yeah, you got to be. Jordan Slack was so concerning to people that HR Adam reached out to her. That's right. Yeah. Well, I mean, that just shows to me that HR Adam doesn't have a lot crossing his death. It was a slow, fast, fast, time. Yeah. just means the woman works for
for NBC or whoever else is in the building. - No, no, no, she got out at 35. - Oh, yeah. - Maybe she was a PR person for someone appearing on some show. - Maybe. - She hears parts of PR, here's all the parts. - Yeah, no, she was coming in. She was coming in. - Maybe she farted too. - I don't mean. - Anyway, I had Ben, Ben has been saying when you get home from your show, I want you to come in my room and wake me up. - No. - Wake me up. He goes, "I don't just want you to kiss me good night. I want you to, 'cause I'll be like, you don't remember, but I kissed you good night last night." So I go, I went in there and I said, he goes, "I want you to wake me up and make sure that I am awake. I just, I wanna see you in the night, whatever." So I go in last night, there is a note on my bed, that on his bed, that said, "Daddy, please wake me up. Wake me, this is urgent. Urgent spelled, you are GNT." I think, I'm like, oh my God, this is so cute. So then I'm like, trying to wake him up. And what he says to me is, stop talking to me. - Oh. - And don't touch me. - I call that a beaten switch. - Yeah. And I'm like, okay, well, I'm gonna respect you right now and leave. So I left him a note this morning saying, Ben, I tried to wait, you know, whatever. He brings the note into me. He was so pissed. He's like, no, you should have tried harder. - Oh no. - I'm like, this is not what, I go, I have to meet you where you are, Ben. Anyway, I took him this morning for bagels at Apollo bagels, which is that. - Yeah. - Does that die down? - No. On the weekends, there is a line down the street for Apollo bagels. So we went on the way to school early. We went at like 7.45. And, 'cause you gotta get there early, because it does take a minute for them to make the bagel. Anyway, we went, we had such a great morning. And he turned to me this morning on the way to school. And this is why, and I put it on my Instagram. It's like, daddy, which do you like better? Ladybugs are butterflies. And I'm like, in my mind, this is the world I want this child to live in for the rest of his life that we can talk about what we like better. Ladybugs are better flies. Until anyway. - What is your answer? - Well, I really thought about, I said, you know, this is really hard. I said, they're so, they're both so cute. - My ladybugs. - I said butterflies. So I put it out to the audience. I put it out to my Instagram audience. So so far, I've got, I've got 7,000 votes. And what do you think this brand is? - Everyone's gonna say butterflies, 'cause they're showy. They're showing out. They're doing the most. - Ladybugs have one job to give us luck to look cute. They always look the same. They're consistent. A butterfly, extra, show off, pick me, fucking pick me. And also they are disgusting before they're pretty. - The other thing is. - Their roaches. - The other thing is that they are so cute both of them. I mean, Jordan, which would you pick? Butterflies are ladybugs. - Ladybugs hands down. - Yeah, you can also get 'em off, you roll fast. - The butterfly, like, oh God, that's something that's butterflies. - Also, if you touch their wing, they die, then you're murdering some of the ladybugs, like Tim, - The billion of those. - Tim's here. - Definitely ladybugs. - No, sorry. Butterflies, ladybugs, like, - They're gorgeous. - Okay, well, with 4,500 votes, 74% of my audience says butterfly. - Of course. - That tracks. - They're gorgeous. - Why? - Are you demeaning my followers? - No, they're beautiful. - I'm saying they're beautiful. - Get the argument, I just personally prefer. - Anyway, so that is, - I don't think all that. - That is what's happened. That's what's happened on my knees. - The lines around the block for bagels and fro-yo and whatever in the city is embarrassing. - It's crazy. - It's like these white girls from whatever town come here just to stand outside and they're like a freshman at whatever college. And they have to get that fro-yo. And the fro-yo's not even good. You have to shit that bad. - No, it's crazy. - That you have to get the real culture. Just, we brought Ben's teacher a bagel with cream cheese from Apollo. He was very Apollo bagels, yes. He was so excited to do that. And, you know, last night he was like, before I left, he was like, daddy, he's like, can I watch you take a shower? And this is a measure of how badly he just wants to be with me. And I said, yeah, if you want, you can talk to me while I'm in the shower. And then Lucy goes, can I watch you while you take a shower? And I was like, no. And she's like, why? And I go, well, and now I'm explaining, go go, well, there are like boys locker rooms and girls locker rooms and it's not, like that was the right call, right? I mean, I think that's an interesting discussion. I remember being in the bathroom with something that would take a shower with my mom, dad, like, you wanna see your mom naked? I did, yeah, I did see it. Yeah, and it was, nobody do, it was like, that's a different kind of body than I have, but that's my mom. Jordan, I was taking a shower last night. Jordan was on the phone. So, you were in my job. Well, no, I'm doing your job. And Ben's like, can I watch you take a shower and talk to you? And I said, yes. And it's like, this kid is never gonna wanna talk to me again starting in a year. So, I take every minute and then Lucy said, can I? And I said, no. And she said, why? And I said, there's boys rooms and girls rooms. That was the correct move, right? You know what, I'm currently battling with this myself 'cause I have two sons. So, it's like there was a time where I would, like, they're so young, there's a little, it doesn't matter. But my eight year old is like now, like, yeah. But then it's like, I don't wanna be like, weird. And be like, you can't see bodies. And I think there's something to be said about, like, kids seeing like real bodies. - All right, around six or seven is when I stop seeing my mom, Buck Niggas. - Yeah, so now, like, have, there's more privacy with the eight year old. But like, different, yeah, I think also it's a different gender. I mean, I have a, maybe I don't wanna share this on the air. I have a memory, I started this year. - Yeah, vaginismus. - Yeah, vaginismus. No, I have a memory of like showering with one of my parents when maybe it was like, I don't know, but. - And then you kind of realize like, I don't know, it wasn't weird, I don't wanna be weird. But you know what I mean? - I think you made a great decision. - That's a perfectly appropriate, like, modest way to have it. I also think, I see why Ben wants to take a shower with you. I think he's at that age, just like I think he wants you to wake him up because he wants to get a sense of like, this is daddy going to sleep. I go to sleep, like, he's learning about the world. He wants to see how you wash. So he can know how he should wash. - He had a lot of comments about my. - Did he critique you last week? - He came in and I was naked and he was like, whoa, daddy, like, and I was like, all right. Anyway, I was at the valley where you know it's last week. And I think it was Kristen Dodie's makeup artist was wearing these Adidas jeans. They're like super loose jeans with the Adidas stripes and I was like, oh my god, I'm obsessed with those. Where did you get them? - I know it's those, they are on the site right now. So I on the plane home ordered a pair. Yesterday I got a notification. Yeah, that's them. Those are cool, right? I got a notification, John, you don't like them. - Those look like, you know those pajama jeans? - Yeah, well, that's, you know, that's my- - I wouldn't have been my go-to, but that's a- - Why, they're not pajama, but they're like a little baggy. - Yeah, I think they're- - Isn't this sterile? - They're gonna be cute for you. - Yeah, so anyway, I get a notification. - Did you get a notification? - They were not able to be delivered to me. No one was home. I'm like, well, I have a door man. - That could be a lie. - Well, that's what I think. - Sometimes they do. - So I start interacting with the Adidas chat box. - No, don't. John. - Don't do it. - It was the most frustrating thing. - No, you're caught in the sludge. - So then, you know how I ended it? - Throwing your phone. - I said, you suck. And do you know what the chat bot did after I said, you suck? Disconnected me and the screen went up. - Clang up on you. - Yeah, I told. - I was like, I told Claude, I said kill yourself. - Oh, that's fun. - Claude didn't like, Claude didn't like. - No, but Claude sent me on a wild goose chase and I was so mad and we were going through it and I was like, oh, kill yourself and Claude. Instead, he was so, he was so like, disappointed and was like, I'm not gonna pretend like that's an okay thing to say. I'm like, bitch, you're not a lie. You fucking piece of shit. - Wow. - Oh, so mad. - Oh boy. - Don't shame me. You work for me, Claude. - You have a bitch. - Suck in all our resources. You know who's working overtime right now. The love island producers. - Do you watch it, George? - Andy. - I don't know for the time. Big brother was my summer thing. - Last night, you started watching. - I watched too.
episode last night. The last two I hope. Well, those were the ones they the entire game has been switched on its side. Yeah. Casa Amor came, which is basically they set up a whole other house. On Monday night, they took all the guys out of the house who and all these guys were coupled in relationships. They bring them to Casa Amor where they bring in these bombshells who just come in and make out and basically strip in front of all the guys. But what the guys didn't know is that they were had a live feed of what was happening in the women's villa who were watching their man with these whippers and they were and the women were so pissed the women went to bed pissed. They wake up the next morning. So begins Tuesday's episode and here comes Ariana Maddox and Ariana's like girls. I have a surprise for you. There's six girls. What if we double the fun girls and then 12 guys came out and the girls were like, oh yeah. It's on. It's on. You know what's kind of sweet that's happening. The guys in the villa are now all they missed their girls and some of the girls are missing their guys. So it's very actually it's making it. Real feelings are happening. And so you were in. Who do you think is hot? I think they're all hot. I think like the take away from the show is that old adage of beauty is wasted on the young. These people are dumb. I love it. And maybe they'll grow up to be smart. But right now they're leaning into their dumbness and they should be dumb. They're young. They're hot. They're some of them are so hot. I can't believe they're on love Island. They're so hot. Like they should be doing something. Yeah. Like making I don't know. Maybe this is this is what will launch them into traders and they'll be really famous. They're really hot. I like all of them. Some of them are I don't think will age well. Also, you know, when I was a little kid, we weren't allowed to watch television shows that had someone saying like, oh my god. Oh, we weren't this. Every other word is like, well then I fucked him and then you got to know it's crazy. I didn't bounce on his dick. So then he ate his her titties. No, I mean, Kenzie was like, yeah, this guy's like, she's like, I never tried 69. And I was like, if I was watching this as a 10 year old. That was my daughter. Right. Well, as a 10 year old, but also, yes, now it's crazy. But yeah, like on peacock, I guess if you have parental controls, you can't find it. If you're if your parents don't want you to, but I mean, it's on peacock. How are you going to get it you'd access? But yeah, it's like we weren't allowed to watch when Dallas was on. That was a major. It was a different like wow, a sexy, sexy show, but they weren't saying, J.R. Fuck me. Yeah, right. Right. Oh my god. It's crazy. I love they're just bouncing all over the place. They're just like horny. They're humping the front. They're literally humping the furniture. They are. And that's what they're there to do. Exactly. That's crazy. Yeah. And if you go on, there don't you know that if you have a quote unquote connection with someone, don't you kind of know that you have a connect going to erupt. It's going to go sit up real fast. I guess. I don't know. You know, Clive Davis passed away. I saw I don't know. He was bisexual. Yeah, he was fascinating. And you know, there's a lot of discourse about Clive Davis online. And I think the thing that really stuck out, you know, when he had that party hours after Whitney Houston died and she was dead in the bathtub upstairs at the Beverly Hilton. And he threw his annual Oscar party Beverly Hills hotel. Yeah. That's where she died. Beverly Hills Hotel. No, I think it was Beverly Hills. She died. Yeah. And that's where he has his Oscar party. Beverly Hilton. Yeah. And there was a clip of Wendy Williams having him on the show Clive Davis. And she was like, you know, I really didn't agree with you having that party. Like Whitney. She was and he was like, well, Whitney would have wanted it. And we had all these people performed and it turned into a tribute to Whitney. And Wendy's like, sir, her body was still upstairs. Like it was and I loved Wendy. I was like, wow, Wendy is going for it. And his answer was he was in a, he was in a tough spot. But it was as I looked at that, I was like, wow, that was a, that was a decision. You know, he goes, well, the Grammys went on the next night without her. But it's like, all right. It was a night before the Grammys. It was Clive. He's like, you know, Whitney loved that party. She, you know, I would like to you soon. I would like, you know, I would like to weigh in on this. Bavvy Robin. No, Bavvy. I bet you Bavvy has a very clear answer about this. What else I want to tell you, John? I don't know. I'm glad that you started watching Love Island. I watched two episodes of Love Island and I watched in the city. Is there a guy that you thought was like the cutest? I'm not. I don't know. I don't know. You don't know. Yeah. And he descriptor that you were like, oh, that one is a mixed race guy. Corbin. Okay. And KC, who is a man of color is just absolutely beautiful. And he's a, he's a, he takes care. He's a caregiver for old people. Oh, that's nice. Well, maybe, maybe, yeah. Can you imagine there's a future for you? I have a caregiver. Oh, maybe by the way, speaking of me judging those people, it's funny because I was at dinner at the Polo Bar. And with my fella and some friends. And we were talking about, I went to meet his family a few months ago. And by day two of this trip, I started to get very provocative with them. And I was like, so let's, like, which sister do you three think is like the most conventionally good looking? And which sister is smarter asking the sisters? And he, my guy was like, what are you doing right now? And I was like, well, don't invite me to a party if you don't want a little of my sauce. You know, I mean, this is kind of who I am in a weird way. You know, I mean, don't you think? I'm not going to cosine causing that kind of, like those are, those are things that can break a family apart. And they don't speak to each other for years. I thought who's prettier with a group of girls, successors. He was like, stop. I'm like, okay. Yeah, well, because you get to leave. And then he has to deal with his family. I know. And then they were, well, do you have an opinion? Well, they were also beautiful. All right. Thursday, June 25, 2026. I'm Andy Cohen. John, it's our last show for a week. I know. I feel like we're just getting started. I know. I grew. Anyway, yes, we are off next week. And of course, you can see Anderson Cooper and I on July 3rd at on CNN all night. Exciting. Independence Eve. Little summer New Year's Eve show for us. Now, Anderson has not been involved in the planning for this. And he now I spoke to him yesterday. And I was like, oh, you know, we're thinking we'll take you through it all on July 2nd. He's like, oh, I would like good to be sooner than that. I'm like, okay. So couple announcements. Oh, yeah, you have big announcements for us. Well, we've got two new AC two dates for Anderson and I. We are presale starts tomorrow morning. We will be in DC October 10th. And we will be in Philadelphia on November 14th. So come see Anderson Cooper and I and look on my socials tomorrow morning. And I will get you the link to those presale, that presale info October 10th in DC. Philadelphia, November 14th. Maybe I'll come to DC. Maybe we should make a field trip. I'll go to that reflecting pool and take a dump right in the water. We are well speaking of algae filled gardens. We you know, we've made this kids garden for my kids. Yeah. And it we my landscaper. I mean, I've done nothing, but it really is a testament. I mean, it was planted about the month ago. John, it is. There are cucumbers. There are strawberries. Squash is starting to grow basil, rosemary, watermelon. I mean, it is so cool. That's great. Yeah, it's really, really cool. And did you import those lady bugs as?
as you said, you might. - No, I haven't imported Ladybugs, but so this morning we were in there looking at the strawberries and they're ripe and ready to go. And so we picked one and Ben got so upset that we picked it. And I'm like, let's all take bites out of it, like your mouth see. - Yes, and by the way, I was like, well let me go wash it and then I'm like, I don't need to wash it. - There's our pesticides. - Pesticides, there's rainwater. This is beautiful. - Outdoor showers spray. - Yes, so we each had a bite, but the kids were upset about eating it. I'm like, this is what this garden is for, children, it's gots bounty. - That's great. - It is good. - My plants are dead. - You're what? Your plants are dead. - I spent a lot of money on some very nice plants and I said, just give me the plants that have, they don't require any light at all. And they were like, yeah, this rubber tree is gonna be great. - That one died. - Wow. - They're not cheap. - Yes. - I'm not eating that. - Excuse me. - Wow. So you leave for Berlin tonight? - Tonight. And there's a fella there waiting for you? - I have a little, yeah. A friend. Casual, no press, not like a serious thing. Just, we enjoy each other's companies, my friend, but also a lover. - Oh, very nice. - But I mean, again, with like the no AC, I don't really wanna be touching anybody with no AC. - Right, right. - Yeah, so you're staying where? - With him and his home. - And he doesn't have AC? - I believe he has a fan. - No, but when you said they don't have AC, I didn't know you were specifically speaking about him, but I'm telling you, a lot of these apartments don't have. - No, I know. Well, like a hotel would. - Text him right now. Oh my God, my phone is writing everything I'm saying. - I love that happens. You know what, I have to say, I didn't have AC and LA for years. I slept with the windows open and it just kind of cooled itself off, and I know it was never that bad. So like there are places that can exist without AC. Like Mexico City, my hotel didn't have AC, and it was fine. - Text him right now and ask him via ZC. - We already have talked about that. So I'm saying he has a fan. - No, oh, you mean, oh. I thought that was speculative. - In fact, he went to buy a fan for me. - Oh, that's sweet. - He is the sweetest guy, yeah. - Okay. - Yeah, it's gonna be fine. I think it's the best. - How many Europeans, sweetie, it's just. - Oh my God, that just feels so hot. - And by the way, I don't like to have sex in bad air. I don't like to have sex period. - What? - Yeah, hot air, that's not good, from Oz. - My other thing that I wanted to mention this morning that I'm very, which has been in the works for a very long time is this morning, you may have seen on my social. There is a big architectural digest spread about my beach house. And so the pictures are out. And you're John, I don't, you didn't. - I think you've shown me that before. - Oh, did I? - But I'd like to see them again. - Now, when you are a rich person with a beach house and you're designing it and you're talking to your designers, is it like, do you get a little something like a deal because it will end up probably in a big magazine? - Well, that's a really good question. - So, he could say like, oh, I'll do all this shit. - Yeah. - If you let me, I'll give it to you. - So that you get in a magazine. At this point, the designer is not gonna give you much. But so my apartment that I remade on Horatio Street, that I sold, that apartment, when we were remaking it, we went out to El Decor and we said, will you, do you want to feature this apartment, whatever, I think we showed them the plant. Well, I don't know what it was. They said yes early enough that I think my designer was able to get some discount on like Ralph Lauren Wallpay forever. - By the way, I would think so. 'Cause you could say this is gonna be huge exposure for you. - So for this one, I wasn't sure that I was gonna publish it and my apartment in the city, which I talk about all the time in the terrace and the outdoor shower and whatever, I have no plans to publish that apartment. And I told my decorator, I said, sorry, he said, you know, I said, sorry, I'm never gonna do this. And I just, I will say that when I sold my Horatio Street apartment or when I put it on the market, Ryan Serhant had the apartment photographed and the photos were everywhere online. And I have to say it was one of those times, the comments were so mean. - Oh, that's right, you talked about it here. - And I was kind of heartbroken by, I was like, this is my home. I spent so much time planning it with the air cues and I lived there with my kids and I loved it. And it was my home. And to hear mainly by the way from gay guys, yeah. Like the horrible jokes and terrible. Not even jokes, just mean. Anyway, so the question that you're now asking is Andy, why would you put yourself through this? Why are you publishing your beach house? Are you selling it? Which is the first reason that a lot of people publish their homes? No, I think I will probably never sell this house. The reason I am publishing it is that my, one of my oldest friends, Jackie, who is Ben's godmother, who I grew up with, she decorated it. And she did such a great job. And I said to her while we were planning it, I said, and she didn't ask, but I said, let's get this home published because I would love to showcase your work and I would love to give you the business and her Instagram is Jackie Greenberg interiors. - Well, let's also say, when we had, I've had it ladies on, there was, we had a discussion, decorators different from interior designer, we can call Jackie an interior designer. Decorators like Chef versus Cook, so we say interior designer, not decorator. - Yes, you're right, you are so right. And I'm falling back on an old trope. But yes, she is an interior designer. - Where's matter? - And I am not selling my beach house, I really wanted people to see her work. - And she did do such an amazing job. - She did such a great job. - Also, it's much cooler that you're not doing a high AD, we're gonna take you on a tour of our, I am. - Oh, you are. - Yes, okay. - I mean, your apartment here. - Yes, stop, my apartment. - I like that you're not publishing that. I think you have something just for you, for your family. I say for the beach house, it's great. You should show that off. - Yeah, so for your home home, I think it's nice that you're not doing that. - Me too, so I did the, so the AD video should be, the teaser actually should be up on my Instagram. - Well, by the way, though, there's so many videos that are of people showing off their crazy apartments, but I don't see a lot of beach houses. - Yeah. - I think it's great. - Yes, I wanna see that. - Good. - And I've been there. - Yes, you have. - I've had sex in your bedroom. - Oh my God. Not with me. - Not with you. - I am excited for y'all to see my beach house. It's where I'll be next week and you will see it. And I have gotten through the years, people writing into the mail bag saying, you know, you talk about your home, will you ever publish it? I will start posting more pictures where you can kind of see my apartment in the city, just incidentally, but I have no plans to publish it. And, but here you go. I am putting my beach house up for discussion, I guess. It's heading into a very nice thirst trap on your deck in that beach house that I don't think I published. So maybe now I can. - Now you can. - Absolutely. Now you can. Yeah, so there you go. Did you want me to do a mail, a mail bag? - Yeah, let's do it. - Listen, a mail, listen, a mail. - Tammy, Andy, I just watched the Watch The Watch happens live episode with Rosie and John Early. I must say I love seeing how happy and natural you were. It was a great show. Are you and Rosie friends? - I would say we are friendly. - Sure. - We are friendly. Like we've never been out to dinner together. But every time we see each other, we have a really good geeky. Nice. - Nice to know mail. - Lindsay from YorkPA. Hello, I know the Summer House reunion was recorded for 10 hours and to be honest, would have loved for that entire life taping to be aired. We could all see the viewpoints of everyone. When these are edited, a lot gets cut out and all of us Bravo lovers would watch it all. Please consider moving it for all you before. Just air it all, redrop this reunion. Thanks for your time. - I advocated for that. I said, you know what? Just put it all out there. So, I don't know.
Nick from the UK, can I please ask that at least one of you are acknowledging that Kyle is actually getting away with being a totally Shit husband you can actually see the relief in his eyes at times and he managed to go back to being a literal lover boy with no blame in his corner He's loving this well a couple things can be true. He I mean he might be seeing the silver lining of this I think he is and I said it at the beginning of the reunion I was like you were the one that I thought was going to be on the hot seat for this whole thing so yes Shrine sent a lovely email about our little Discussion we had last week. So did Kristen in Boston. I don't need to get into all of that Thank you very much. Thank you. I think we did kind of clear the air though. I think we did I think the point was that We both acknowledged that we would like to see each other more right yes exactly Also moving here from LA after 10 years of not living here I think it's been a bigger adjustment that I anticipated because I I did move slowly I built a friend group, but also it is a big change in the you know I'm still in the first year of that so I think that's part of the adjustment. It's not necessarily anything About I get to about a few other things, you know, I mean like this has been it is a bigger adjustment, you know, right to move to a different city I mean like new here.
