Terima kasih kerana beli nampaknya. Nampaknya. Verse 11 says, "No good thing that God withhold from those who walk uprightly." You see, God never withheld anything from those who walk uprightly before him. Romans 8 tells us that God who did not spare his own son but gave him up for us all. Will he not also along with him graciously give us all things? He has given us his very best. And that's what Christmas is all about, right? The incarnation of God in the person and in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. You see, ultimately, a Christian is a true worshiper of God because of the Lord Jesus Christ. A true worshiper who longs with passion for heaven? Whose whole life is a pilgrimage to heaven? And who trusts the presence and promises of the God who is in heaven? So today, how we long for passion to worship God in church? Today, how we seek God's strength to help us make pilgrimage to the church for worship? And how we trust the presence and promises of God when we gather to worship? In this life, on this side of eternity is a reflection of and reveals whether or not we are true worshippers of the living God. Are you a true worshiper of God or run to Christ? May God help us. Let us pray. Our Father, we thank You, Father, for Your grace and Your mercy that has been so richly bestowed upon us. Sinful creatures made of dust who rebel against You and continue to rebel against You at times. Yet, Lord, You demonstrate Your love towards us in sending Your Son to come and live and die in our place. That we who are sinful may be reconciled to You, a Most Holy God. Indeed, You have come to seek true worshippers. And we thank You, Father, that we are a worshiper simply, solely and holy because of Your Son. And today, Father, help us to examine our own hearts, whether or not we even have passion to worship You with Your people, whether we seek Your strength to make pilgrimage to worship You with God's people, whether or not we even trust that You are present with us and that Your promises for us are altogether faithful and true when we come to worship. But if there be any among us who is yet outside of your kingdom, we pray for them that today may be the day of salvation, that they may run to Christ and to find Him and able and a willing Savior of their souls. Thank You in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
