- Hey son of a boy, dad listeners. You can find every episode on Apple podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen, add free on Amazon music. - It's Fran from Chicks in the Office. The weather is getting cooler and Abercrombie's fall drop has everything I need for the season. The best selling A&F Sloan Taylor pant is a closet staple for me. I'm always wearing it to work events, happy hour, anytime I want to be a bit more dressed up. And the viral Dylan dress is easy, one-and-done perfection. But my fall uniform will always be denim pair with a Henley sweater, a bra-free top. It's comfortable, effortless, it just never fails. Find your fall capsule at Abercrombie, shop in the app online and in stores. - The course is calling and your Chevy Equinox can take on whatever the day throws at you. Stylish and ready for anything. Equinox handles your commute, weekend trips, and even those last minute tee times, easily load up your clubs and gear with plenty of cargo space, plus hidden storage under the rear floor to keep things neat. And with a big standout touchscreen, the Equinox puts all your tech right where you need it, bold and confident, Equinox looks just as good on the road as it does down the back roads. From the first drive to the final put, Equinox is built to do more so you can focus on the game. - Folks, we are in that sweet spot of summer where we are trying to squeeze every last drop out of summer, right? And there's no better way to do that than with high noon. Okay, I'm a big fan of the tequila. I know you're a big fan of the tequila. - I'm obsessed with it. - But I actually like the vodka ones better. - You wanna do a spot swap? What's little? - We can do a trade. - A little. - And though I am obsessed with the pineapple as well, but this is the best tequila drink on the market. There is nothing that tastes cleaner, and I think that's because there is no malt. It's gonna be refreshing, it's gonna be fun to drink, it's gonna be easy to drink, and you're gonna do it responsibly while you're having a great time, maybe at the ball game. If you're cooking out, if you're grilling, imagine throwing some charcoal on the grill, maybe some fresh fish or a slab of meat that you've seasoned perfectly, and while you're tending to the grill, like an absolute adult, the thing that you have in your other hand, is a beautiful high noon. - An ice cold high noon, and now you can get full packs of single flavors if you are a peach guy like me, so you don't have to just kind of work your way through the flavors that you're not as fond of to get to the ones you really care for. - The thing with me is there are no flavors that I'm not as fond of, so throw me whatever one anybody else is issuing. - Wow, an equal opportunity high noon enthusiast. - Real fruit juice, sparkling water, natural flavors, and block of tequila in this one, block over there, you're going to be enjoying it. Get some high noon in your life today. - Make sure to visit highnoonspirates.com to find high noon near you. - All righty, welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dead podcast. It is August 24th, it is 4pm, and we are here live from HQ Trays. Welcome back, everybody. How are we doing? How are we doing? - Fantastic, fan-free, fantastic. Falls damn near upon us. I treat this, I treat the last two weeks as August. That's my pumpkin spice season, and I get out before September even starts. And early adopter, you get the best batch of pumpkins, and then you kind of get off of it before it, it hits the critical mass. - Have you already been pumpkin picking? - I had a pumpkin beer. - Wow, you're the friends and family of pumpkin spice. I noticed that Jolly Rancher released a new candy, pumpkin themed, and that's a little early for that. - I think this is the hot spot for it. This is the perfect time for it. And then you can be like, "Can we be done with the pumpkin spice already by September 2nd?" - Yeah, that's true. - Yeah, you get ahead of it. - You buy the shade on everyone else. - Or something. - Shipyard in main beer. Shipyard, nevermind. - Is that a good pumpkin? - Well, they made a great pumpkin beer. Yeah, they had the best one, pumpkin head maybe. - There's one called pumpkin druglick. That was really good. - Very nice, isn't it? - That is nice. - I love that. - This genius level ready. - Love that. - Whoever wrote that shit, pumpkin druglick. Is that a new piece? - No, not even close. - What the? - Well, my Fitbit? - Yeah. - No, no, I've been had this. It was a years old. - You've never worn that once, and you're gonna try to tell us you've worn it a hundred times on the podcast. You've never worn it. - I promise you, I've worn it on the podcast. - You've never worn that on the podcast? - One a hundred times easily. - What is it to your benefit to introduce a new thing and then convince us it's old? - It's literally not. I've been using the Fitbit since I moved to New York. - I don't, I obviously had year stretches where I didn't use it at all. But you can find episodes where I've worn it for sure. - Are you, like, embarrassing to be discovered to have bought new things? - Why would I lie about buying a new Fitbit? - Exactly, why would I'm asking? - But it's what I'm asking. - Guys, just assume that you have this rock solid memory when you're both fucking goldfish. (laughing) You don't remember anything. Like, I would never, if I got a new piece of gear, I would be showing off the new piece of gear. - No, you don't do that. - Yes. - You got a new piece of gear. We ask you about it out of excitement and you're like, you guys are fucking with me. You know I've had this for that. - The last time I wore this sweatshirt, you are sweater. You guys both said the exact same thing. - No, we sucked it off. - I like that. I have no, I knew not to comment on that. - When I wore it, you're like, you've never worn this before. That was the last time we had this conversation. - That was the first time you wore it. - Or was that with the button down? I don't remember. It was one of those two. And you guys said, I never, we were like, this is brand new and I said, no. - It's not. - What's your biometrics today? - 99 sleep score, sleep fucking phenomenal. - Good for you. - That's impressive. - Or no, no, no, 99 readiness score, 92 sleep score. - That's pretty good. - I'm fucking ready. I'm ready to do whatever it takes. - I need to do. - I felt that way. I honestly, I'm so glad you're saying that. - No, I don't. I don't actually feel that way, but my Fitbit is telling me to feel that way. - Dude, there's a guy that maybe you've seen on Instagram. I think his name is New Age CEO. He's this black guy who sits in a chair and just wears sunglasses and gives out advice about how to take back your life and stuff. - Yeah. - And these clips pop up for me all the time and sometimes I'll watch the whole thing and it's all pretty vague, but it's also very good. And the one today was about making a comeback and how people, whatever, I'm not even gonna get into it, but it got me so fired up that I came here to tell you guys, I'm ready for my comeback. - Oh, hell yeah, love that. - It all starts now. - The cord's back on. - No, no, no, no, but it's comeback season. - Okay. - I am ready to take the bull by the horns, hell yeah, fuck around and find out. - Oh, yeah. - Sometimes other people will. - Yeah. - Is what they'll do, is they'll fuck around and find out. They'll fuck with me and then they'll find out that I'm coming back with friends to hurt them. - Come back season. - It's time for some people to find out. - They're gonna find out. Whose album was that? Is that Nipsey? Who's comeback season? - I don't know. What is that noise? - It's the drones. - I thought that was someone's phone at first. I don't know who comeback season is. - Oh, great. - I think it was Drake from 2007. - I'm not paused. - So this is basically you, comeback season. What was Drake doing coming back in 2007? - I know, right? That's not his first time. - We hadn't come. - He's just entering the scene first time. This is my comeback season. - Maybe Drake thought that his peak was when he was like an actor. So this was like the big comeback. - Yeah, that's probably the EP on which he did best I ever had. Would be my guess. - That's a great, great question. - One of the best songs he's ever done. - I think it was later than that. I think that was on that 2009 release or 2010 release, but regardless, so far gone. - Oh, so far gone. - That's classic. - That's a classic. But I love the idea of this because like what if your whole life up to now has been Drake's acting career and you still have Drake's music career in you? - Yeah. - And it's like your comeback season. - Yeah, now that's actually a big possibility. And it's also like a great way to live, you know? - What if my, yeah, what if my comeback season is upon us? - Yeah, like what if you thought it was comedy, but like you don't even know. Like there's a voice in there that is gonna change the next generation? - Well, I made room for that by giving up comedy. - Yeah, yeah. Just letting, waiting for something else to come up. - I said to myself, this isn't right. - Yeah. - You said Drake gave up DeGrosse. Why can't I give up comedy? - What if you became like a painter? Like an insane painter? - No. - Well, your paintings are going for like 50 million. - That sounds nice. That sounds nice. Admit it. - It is funny you say that 'cause I texted my group chat of all my closest, you know, friends from the last 15 years of life or 20 years that I've known since college. And I was like, I was like, guys, does anyone have any ideas on what I should do for work because I'm not gonna do this anymore? (laughing) And they were like, are you serious? - Yeah. - And I was like, yeah, I don't, I'm not interested. - And what were their recommendations? - One of them. - Why is you just open a Fortune 500 company, for instance? - Yeah. - One of them was like, you should advise billionaires on whether or not they should invest in sports teams. - I don't know if you've followed what's been happening with the Lakers, but it's an absolute cluster. - Oh, I've been following it sort of. - Someone was buying the Minnesota Timberwolves for 1.5 billion, which is nothing. - Yeah, where did the Lakers go for 9 billion? 8 billion? - 14. - Really?
year after going for 12. Or no, 12 a year after going for, they went up two billion in a year. - With the end LeBron left. - LeBron left and the price just went up two billion because now they're basically like a trading card. - Yeah. - They're just like a hotly traded Pokemon card that like super rich guys just pass back and forth. There's no actual money involved. - Who just bought it? - Bob Eiger and Josh Kushner. - Yeah, Jared Kushner's brother. - Yes, that's what it was. - Disney and Jared Kushner's brother. Who's like 39. - That's crazy. - That's so good. - He's 40 years old and he just bought the Lakers. - That would be sick. - Yeah, you should definitely do that. Is that on LinkedIn? Is that a job that's available? (laughing) - You got to get that job friends. - That's a tough one to get, but once you get it, you're gonna be happy. - I think comeback season starts with a big pivot, but what if you're wrong? - We need a big pivot. - Like that's probably not one that you can really just, like be wrong on. - Yeah, you should buy the Lakers. - No, oh, I see what you're saying. - I thought you meant choosing my next. (laughing) - Luke had just did a school shooting. (laughing) - Fuck. - That would be a nightmare, logistically. - Sure. - It can't go down. The only bad thing is that they always packers with the WMBA team with it. - Oh, really? - Yeah. - So they got the WMBA team. How much do you think that team is worth and that deal? - If I bought Sophie Cunningham's team, do you think she'd be forced to go out with me or is that some violation? - That's probably a violation. - I thought you were told you're not allowed. - Well, we could do. - To what? - Date Sophie Cunningham? - Yeah. - He said that. - Oh yeah, they were mad at me. - She was furious with me. - Really? - Saw the clip and was like, "Are you out of your fucking mind?" - Why? - I don't know, she hasn't liked her. - Damn. She said, "Francis, you're not allowed as your advisor." Oh my God. - Oh my God. Holy shit. - Wait, can we go down and see more of this? Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. We are where we are. We can cut it if we have this. - Actually, this would make me sick to my stomach. No, no, no, it's not fucking me up, but that guy's literally beating Danny's ass. - Oh my God. - That's gas. - Lot of core. - He's activating that core. - Who's that? - Who's that ass crack out? - Get a shot in right there. - He's got a helmet on. He's got a full base helmet on. - He's. - Rob. - That's so crazy. - This is right when I arrived. - That is the guy. - There were 17 dudes on him. And I was like, "All right, I can't help." - It was Chick-fil-A, officially confirming. - Okay, now let's say what happened. Let's say what happened. - Francis, you're most equipped to tell the story. Oh, is that another angle? - I mean, Dave explains it there. It looks like, so as I understand it, Gia ordered some food and Uber Eats delivery person brought it somehow that handoff of the food did not go well. And then that guy ended up throwing a drink at our security guard, Danny. - Maybe he threw the drink at Gia or Danny. Oh, Danny, you're right, you're right. - Like he threw it at Danny and then Danny pushed him into the elevator to be like, get away. And then the guy started attacking Danny. - And luckily, this is New York City. So that delivery driver is free. (laughing) No worry, he did his walk by the jail. (laughing) It's like when you get blessed on Ash Wednesday and don't even have to go into the church. You just go past ordained and you served your time. - I saw him outside. - Time to be backing up, it's tough. The, you can't film that from point blank range. - You gotta help, you gotta help the guy. You gotta help your coworker on the ground. - Well, who is filming it from point blank range? - One of our many social people. - I think yeah, I think Gia. - Can we read Dave's caption really quick? We had a crazy scene today at Barcell World headquarters. Uber Eats driver got in a fight with Gia in the hallway over her order. Our security guard, Danny, Dan went into the hall to tell the guy to leave and he attacked him. Beat him up pretty good. Gia's saved the day, pulling him off. Thankfully, it was Gia's and not Mincey who arrived first. - Mincey. - Rick, you're so short, like you read about. - Then the rest of the troops rushed in, followed by Cody and Travis for the boys to help out. Now what we got to pay, very close attention to in the security footage, we pulled as how Tommy, Tommy Smokes and Red handled this explosive situation. Bravery like this cannot go unnoticed. Total secured and locked down the office. The police did show up and arrest the guy. Danny may need a few stitches and a couple beers, all in all another day at the stool. Shout out Mom Donnie's New York City. Oh my God. - Well, they said that the delivery driver knew he was going to be out, so he was screaming round two tomorrow. I'll be back, order another fucking spicy chicken sandwich. Danny is such a G. - Yeah. - So great. - They should have dropped, I mean, that's why you can't film it too. They should have beat that, they should have beat the guy up. - You were wearing a full-base helmet. He had like a helmet, he looked like fucking-- - He came to attack. - Ledanian Tom Onsen. Like how do you-- - Yeah, he had the tinted visor. - He didn't want to come in. I think that was the problem. I'm just saying that from a third party observer, he didn't want to go up to the thing. I think he wanted something-- - No, I heard that he saw Gia and he's a Scooter-Brown fan. - He's like, I'm not giving her that. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, that would also make some-- - I mean, side-tailored shoes. - Yeah. - When I walked into the building, there was a guy outside, Uber Eats guy, holding Chick-fil-A, and a drink, and he wasn't budging. He was standing right outside. I opened the door for him. He did not want to come in. And it was a little weird. He had a weird vibe to him. - What'd you see? - He was standing outside and he was just perfectly holding the drink and the food. And just standing at the door, just waiting for someone. And then-- - Oh, he probably wanted her to come down-- - Yeah, that's what I mean. I think he wanted someone to come out. He didn't want to come in. And so clearly he came up to assume with an attitude. But do you think he's going up? Like this is about to get real? - I'm about to be the girl. - Like I'm about to go up and start just swinging on everybody. Like he surely didn't, I didn't think that. Like when I was walking in, I walked past him, took the elevator up. Gia and Danny let me in. Like she was waiting for the food, I think. Like no one knew like this was about to become a brawl. - Can I also say, it always shocks me how many people at our office ordered their lunch delivered. - Oh, yeah, yeah. - We are one half block from every food option. - That these people are ordering from. - Yeah, now this is probably the closest-- - I can't take three minutes out of my day to walk outside and go get those things. - It's probably the most accessible food location in the entire city, realistically. - Maybe America. - You can get anything. - And you have to leave the henhouse to do it too. - Yeah. - Because otherwise you're going to let a fox in. And that's exactly what happened. You let a fox in the henhouse. Honestly, if I'm Danny, I'm pissed at Dave for putting this shit out. - Oh, I'm furious. - So fuck Dave, at least run it by him. You can't just have a ass beat, a fucking non-solicited ass beating on camera. Dave needs to slide him fucking at least 10 bands of like low cat. - 10, I'm going for 10 mil. - Yes, that's it, he's calling Morgan and Morgan on full. (laughing) - Well, 'cause he's still here. Like I would definitely, I'd be taking the day off. - At least it's the day off. - Yeah, it's some Perkins, but-- - That's when they come back though. - Yeah, but he's not there, he's gone. Call Pat, call Mike. - So you had to come in. I just got the shit kicked out of me. Time for one of you boys to take a beating. (laughing) - Oh my God, that's so fucking brutal. Poor guy. I mean, yeah, that's a nasty, that's a nasty Monday. - Yeah, no, that's a awful Monday. - Do you think this happens often? - What are you talking about? - Not obviously not here specifically, but yeah, like do you think that's happening at like a, just like an accounting firm? - No. - No, shit, our secretaries in a brawl with Uber Eats guy. - No. - There's 10 dudes coming over to pull them off. - I don't think it happens often, but I would bet that Uber Eats drivers get attacked themselves often by drunk people who are like, "I told, I wanted the low main with shrimp, not chicken." - You think? - People drunk at their home, the food takes too long. Something bad happens, yeah, I bet that happens. - I think it's time. I think we got to move on from this as a society. Like I think the delivery needs to go. - I was, we were saying that it'd be like a sick horror movie if the sleeper cells of the delivery drivers were like activated all at once and they're like, "Oh, last thing, you order." And just fucking go off. - Yeah. - Like if they all, if they realized that it banded together,
how powerful they are. (laughs) - I mean, 'cause I was saying cavalry. - We had to divide them. - They all have motorized bikes. - Right, exactly. If they rode on city hall, or something like that, or like a war. - On exclusively on the sidewalk. - Yeah. - On the side of their bike. - We're gonna do a ride in. Someone, 'cause someone was, someone was struck in a story of today as well. - That you know. - Yeah, no, not that I know. - Oh God. (laughs) - But someone got hit by a nober eats bike, flew, had to go to the, had to get an ambulance. And then the, the bike or took off, gone. - Yeah. - That got, that time I saw the guy smoked with his like skull cracked open in, Lolita, hit, that got, that Uber eats driver took off on bike as well. - Oh yeah, oh yeah. - When I got hit, I'm a victim as well. When I was struck by the Uber eats driver on my bike, he took off. But I was spelt, so I also took off. It was a reasonable takeoff. - That ain't easy. - I said we gotta exchange insurance on the city bike. (laughs) I really don't want to get insurance involved here, so let's just do a cash exchange. You cover my fare. I need a dollar and 80 cents. - No, it's pretty fucked up though. I really think the bike's got to go. Like it's really, like I've been biking back and forth a little bit. I've been biking too and from. I think the bike's got to go. I've been biking. - Well, you know what I mean. I'm talking about the bikes that are not bikes. They go faster than any car has ever gone in Manhattan. No car has ever gone the speed of these bikes in Manhattan. - Yeah, I agree with that. - Like the bikes you see on the Manhattan bridge, sometimes run. - No. - Dude, that's exactly what I was about to say. - When I was about to cycle. - Like I bike up like the Queensborough bridge. - Yeah. - And that's where the two people died. - Oh yeah. - That people going by, there's not a single actual bike on the bike path. It's scooters going 700 miles. The scooters go faster than the bikes. Scooters going and they beep at you. And it's like, bro, I'm the one doing the normal thing here. - Are you talking about scooters that you stand on just one board or are you talking about ones you sit on like Vespas? - No, I'm talking about the ones where you stand on them. But the Vespas as well, you're on the bike lane on a bridge and a Vespas goes by you. - Yeah. - That guy needs to die. - No really, like I'm surprised. - I actually do die. - I'm surprised that there's not like 30 pile-ups a day on those bridges. - The bike lanes are better. They have been made better in the Mamdani presidency. But unfortunately he has, there are evil demons that are riding on them. It's Mad Max Fury Road out there every day. And there's just Ubreach guys with chains. - Yeah. - Like whip it literally. - Playing like fucking guitar on the back of a. - It's fucking insane. It's crazy. I apparently he sent a cease and desist to all of those companies that sell those electric bikes like the illegal ones. So he's trying to get them off the street. But I think he, I mean, I hate to be that guy. I think we need some flock cameras in New York City on every block. I want one on every single corner of the entire city. No, I don't think we need that, but I do think that they got to set up like, I think they got to set up like barriers like on the side of like, like when you're getting off the bridge. I want a team of cops just locked in arms. - I've seen them waiting there to just drip people off those bikes, throw the bike into the water. - But they're a network though. Like they're all like the same neural network. So like one of them blinks twice all of them will turn around off the bridge. - Yeah, yeah. - It's fucked. And the guy was dressed up like the robot that comes on the commercials at the Fox Games. That's always doing like the dining. (laughing) - We'll send a fresh one. - Ba-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra. - We're going to send a fresh robot cop to deliver you a new fucking bottle of rice. - God damn, Danny, go home. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Danny loves to travel. Danny wants to go to Japan. I think Danny was supposed to be in Japan like right now. And then he didn't go on the trip. And instead he's getting his ass beat behind the fucking desk. - Stop. - They've asked to send him to Okinawa or something like that. - Can you play the clip of the fight one more time? - I haven't. - It's four minutes long. - This feels like all the footage. - There's a real fight. I mean, he's kneeling on him. Got him against the wall. He's pulling his leg. - Oh, that was amazing. - He's on top of this guy. - This guy kind of sees what he does. - He's got shin guards, he definitely does. He's pulling his legs, he's yanking him by his legs. And now he's about to mount. And Danny gets him to the ground. The camera. - Oh, Chase. - And then he's. He's got a good angle. And then now he's on top of him. Danny's fighting and then guys gets in there. Actually, he doesn't look that bad, but then he gets sideways. It looks pretty bad. I honestly am pretty shocked that that happened. Like, that's crazy. - This is crazy. - This is dark. And I would definitely not want that out there if I was Danny. - Why do you think this guy, was this just, he's like, if I swear to God. - That's what I mean. One more person tells me I brought the wrong episode, I'm gonna throw it in their face. - That's what I'm saying. Like, do you think he knew, like, I'm there's gonna be a, I'm gonna get in the front today. - Yeah, I think he was like, I'm this close. - Yeah. - The whole, he just was like, today's the fucking day. Don't try me. - Man, woman, I do not care. And it's also like, Danny is the chillest guy. Like, he's the best and like, he's just so chill and so relaxed. No one works the front desk more than him. And he's just like, you could tell he just wants, he doesn't want any problems. He's not trying, he probably got out of police work. So he could have a chill job, a funny job, like bullshitting with Sparky and Ebony. And now he's fucking in the line of duty in a more, at least on the police force, you have a partner. His partner right there is like, the branded content team. - Yeah, when you're on the ground and you look up and the only person there is Geo with her phone, you gotta be thinking, like, I'm gonna die here. Imagine that there's a dude on top of you in your workplace and you look up and the only person there is like, it's just like Geo recording. Like, I would literally be like, this is it. - Geo is yelling. - Geo? - Geo was yelling. - Well, Geo went and got the help. I'm not blaming Geo at all. - She was just yelling really loudly. But, you know, I thought it was a podcast. I was like, I thought maybe we had some kind of goofy fit. I thought like, Moobie was doing a TikTok trip. - Yeah, yeah. - That's what I heard. I was, I heard it being like, no, stop. And I'm like, oh, there's some goofy shit happening. It took a long time. It's very hard to discern what's like a problem here versus just. - We remember when that guy Alex Stein came in. And he was like being an intensely an agitator. And then they kind of had to push him out. But he was kind of like, like, giggling. He'd be like, no, like, don't push me out. But they had to physically remove him. But he never had an intentional fighting back. - Didn't he bring a dude? Didn't he bring a homeless guy with him? - But it was an actor. Is that actor that you see in all kinds of videos? He literally pretends to be a homeless guy. But then like, that's like a joke. And like, obviously, you have to do, you have to get, remove them physically, because he's not going to leave. It's that top video. And then the, this is obviously not a joke and actually violent. Yeah, this is before we had security. And so it's, oh, no, that's Danny. Okay, okay, this is good. Danny needs to get this video back on the timeline. - And then spider comes walking out and say, "Danny's, yeah, Danny's wrestling with this guy." But this guy's not throwing punches. And then Ebony gives a little shove. - This is hilarious. - Why is Danny the only one that gets action, bro? And see, he look, he's laughing. - You know, like, for me, Francis, he's mad that I, because this was right after that, I got caught on a hot mic saying that I thought Tucker Carlson's show was bad. And then he comes back, this guy comes back in, and he's, I mean, like, this is kind of like a blocking drill. Like, they're all kind of laughing, but he's just got to go rep in. He's not, he's not getting bludges. - Oh, my God. - That's, he needs that on the highlight tape. Like, he needs to edit of that multiple angles. - Yeah, I think, I think, because I think this current video is going to, I think Danny needs to get this back on the timeline. There should be a compilation, honestly. It's time to start working on a Danny edit. - For sure. - Yeah. - It's also like, (laughing) - Actually, he'd be retired. - Oh, man, a Danny highlight reel would go crazy. Just him just dropping fools. - Or just him like hitting the button to open the door. (laughing) - Yeah, I think he's got to, I think he's got to start being a little bit more careful with that button. - It is dystopian and dark that you also have to like, run and press the button to get out. So like, you're just getting beat up and like, somebody's like fumbling with the button. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Like, it's saving private Ryan. The guy's like outside the door fumbling with the gun. As you're getting, yeah. - Why doesn't this happen in Chicago? - I think it does. - They got to, because they had the fucking burner. They had the fucking glow. - There's just too many straps in that office to keep up with. Too many guns. - Yeah, it's like good. - But, I think it also did happen at the old, when they were at that old location.
They were there were a couple altercations. Oh damn people were getting like robbed right outside the office. Yeah. I think there's people I mean this office there's been some stuff with this office as well. Oh yeah. I'm going to order a bunch of Uber Eats tonight and see what I can do to bring it to physical violence and it's going to be just it's a social experiment like I'm not going to do it. It's like when Liam Neeson got out there after a friend was killed. Yeah he's like I'll kill any Uber Eats bastard. I see that bastard on a bike doing door dash that I see him. Call it fight grub. Most people will do whatever they can to avoid a fight. Yeah. I'm going to see what I can do. Your assignment is to fight a door dash. Yeah. Cyclops. And then like right when it about when it's about to get violent I'm going to say hold on let's take a tea here. There's cameras here. This was a social experiment. Yeah come on out. Yeah. His name was Muhammad. Because I mean I'm very curious now like I've always wondered because they I mean it's tough because it's like yeah those guys they have a really shitty job and they're probably paid nothing and they're treated like shit by everybody except for me of course. But you got to wonder like is this a frequent occurrence? Is is are the employees over at Black Rock? Are they are are their Uber Eats drivers coming up and throwing stuff at them? Right or was this just a deadspin employee? Yeah. The number of people who work in pest control and reached out pair said that specifically the little ones the Germans are the worst. Yeah yeah no i said that too they're resilient i mean they've got a lot more fighting than the big guys do but i'm i mean i would i wouldn't say it's completely eliminated but i would say i have done as good of a job as an exterminator. I think they're regrouping yeah see that is a possibility there is a possibility that they're like we got to find a different route in what i have not seen around. You're going to get paratroopers they're going to be like jumping out of airplanes to come in. I think they faded back to sort of strengthen their lines and they're there's a small village called Navy. Just back there mating like mad right now just tripling up numbers yeah adding soldiers it's definitely a possibility but i really think like i i i think i've handled it for the most part i have not seen a roach in almost a week. Yeah i i i'd be worried about it too because the people are saying to me as well that the Germans are the the ruthless the ruthless and they spawn very very quickly. Yeah yeah i did have a guy DM me and he was like he was like sass you got to uh i'm an exterminator yada yada you got to use the gel bait and then he replied like an hour later and he was like my bad i didn't listen to the whole thing you said you do use the gel bait. Someone said that the gel bait was the worst. Well it doesn't matter what's the worst. I've have literally every single trap down that you could have. You just put put them all together in a potion. Pretty much yeah i have using gel bait. No gel. Oh. I have gel bait. I have liquid bait. I have the roach motels and then i have just the regular poison as well and the spray on top of all of it. What is gel bait? Is that like a gel bait is when you are a when a girl that's underage. God and you've been trying to kill cockroaches with that. Yeah. Underage good underage women. Hey. It's freaky but whatever works. More power to you. Whatever gets the job done. Very a story of you but um cool. How was it? Did your friends come this weekend? They did yeah they just left last night or yesterday. How was it? It was good. It was uh how did you did you show them a good time? Yeah if I mean they definitely had a good time. I don't know if I necessarily showed them a good time. What do you mean? Um they got into bow and mat got in on Thursday night and then we had a good day on third on Friday. We played basketball. We played tennis. A jogged personally. Kind of YMCA summer camp as a story of games. Um and then it rained or no that was Thursday night poured and then Friday night they went out. They all went out and I stayed back because I was like this is not going to be a good time for me and I'm going to bring the vibe down because they were like really going out and they were like no bro like we're just going to be super chill night. We're just going to like go to a couple they got back at 5 a.m. Who was it? It was all of them. The whole crew. Peter's Nate and Bo. Yeah. Wow. They got back to your apartment at 5 4 45 and you were awake. Yeah. Of course not. Sound asleep. I actually I was not sound asleep. I was um I was lightly sleeping I would say because space of time between you saying your truth and then immediately walking it back is gotten very short. Which is your credit. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Take a while for us. But also it's correction. You would have gotten away with it. No one knew when you got but like Yeah. I know it's true. Well because I'm saying I did I I want to be like to be known I tried to wait up. I waited up until probably three and then I was texting them and I was like what's what's the up because I texted and I said let's try to be back by three. Three is kind of my cutoff like I get very tired of three. Sure. As most people would um what kind of demanding girlfriend should are you on or they left my apartment at seven like I don't think so and get I was like if you guys can try to be back by three. Why do you need them back at a certain time so that I could let them in and not have to get up from a sleep. You couldn't give them a key. We didn't think about that we got that was a little I thought about that once they were already gone. You didn't think really yes. Hey you guys going out who won't be able to get back in unless I stay up. I have a key but I'm not leaving my apartment all night. Why don't you take it. Well I didn't know what my plan was. I didn't know you know maybe I'm going to go out. Maybe I'll go out by myself and you were like I'm not going out and then you went out. Yeah.
- That would be the most you thing of all time. - No, I wouldn't do that. But no, I definitely did realize I was like that. I should've just given them a key. I could've been way easier. But. - So they got back at 4.45 and so you had to get up. - So I had to get up. - But I was real quick with it. I buzzed them in, then I went back into my room and I closed the door. I was like, I don't want to know part of this. - Oh no, and they were probably corousing. - They were hammered. But like, I thought they were gonna be like super loud when they got back, nothing but respect. A lot of respect in that apartment this weekend. A lot of boundaries just being. - Good guess. - They all slept in the living room? - No, Nate lives in New York and Bo and Matt slept in the living room. - Oh, so Nate didn't come back. - No, Nate went back to his apartment and then they got back and they went straight to bed. - How did you set them up to sleep? - Someone slept on the couch and then Bo-- - Pro-Broad air mattress. - Oh good, okay, good, good, good. Where'd they, what'd they do all night? Did they hit the stripy? - No, no stripy, no stripy. They went to, so they saw some live music and then they went to some bar. - The rest of the time? What do you mean? - They were at the bar until four? - Yeah, they shut it down. - Wow. - Lights came on. They said, "Do you know what bar it was?" - No, I'm not sure exactly what bar was. - I'm sick that they didn't invite Francis. - I know they went to a place called Cap. They went to Cafe Waw, which we bought in there. - Cool. - I went there with you. - Where's that? - Cafe Waw, right by the cellar. - This was like years ago. - Really? - You live music? - My buddy hired a band from Cafe Waw to be his wedding band and they were one of the best wedding bands I've ever seen. - Yeah, I'm not spending, I mean, that's like their shit. They just play hits. - They're awesome. - Do you not remember that? - I know Waffung. - Oh, that's most of them when it was. (laughing) - I don't Waffung deliver Waffung Chinese food? - Yeah, yeah. - They fight you when you get when they get there. (laughing) But, yeah, it was fun. I mean, they had a good time that night. It was, I honestly, I had a great time in the next morning, just like watching them all be like, "Oh, I'm gonna fucking kill myself." - And I was like, "This is hilarious." - People are at their funniest when they're hung over the next morning. - Yeah. - It's like a very giggly nice time. - Yeah, it's a great time. And it's like, "I felt great." - And did you get bagels for them or anything? - No, we went out and got stuff, but it was funny 'cause I woke up at like nine and I went and I took Matt has like a, he has like a jewel, like the vape, and I stole it naturally, brought it back into my room because I was like, they're not gonna be up for hours. I'm gonna just hit this vape for a little bit, chill in my bed. Immediately, Matt comes into my room and he's like, "You take my jewel." (laughing) It's like, bro, you were just like dead on the couch 30 seconds ago. Like how did you notice that? - It's like a cop who sleeps on his gun. (laughing) - Yeah, and then he took it, went back outside. So I was like, "Oh, I guess they're up." And I went out and then immediately Matt went back to bed. (laughing) - Where was his jewel when you grabbed it? - It was sitting on like the ottoman next to the couch. - Were you not like slick about it? Or are you just like clunked out there? - He was sound asleep and it wasn't like, I didn't have to like move anything to get it. I just went over and grabbed it. - Yeah. - When he steals the ring. - Yeah. - Wasn't he guarding the ring? - It's a great question. - I've never seen Lord of the Ring question. - That's from the hobbit, right? What is smog guarding? Gold, but like Gandalf or, excuse me, Frodo takes Bilbo. Jesus Christ, I give up. This is like Harry Tung and joke. (laughing) - I don't remember, I've never seen either of those movies. But then the next night we went out. We got some tie on Saturday night. Went to a great tie restaurant. Had a good time, walked around a little bit. And then we went back to my place and we've just played video games until like two. - Great time. Do you think that maybe, you know, I understand not wanting to go out because of the drinking element. But do you feel as if maybe you missed out on the live music and some of the cool experiences that they had? - No, not at all. Because I knew what the night was before. Like I hung out with them the whole day and I hung out them all the night before. But I was like, they wanted to go to like a club. - Oh, they want to get real around. - Yeah, they wanted to get crazy. - But they didn't go to a club. - And I think they went to one of those like hybrids. - Did Bo come with that girl that he was supposed to be with? - No. - Chill, bro. - Well, I texted him. - Did he go with her to come with him? - No, no. - Chill, don't blow, bro. Bo spot. - Yeah, blowing up his spot. - Okay, all right. Sorry, bro. - Crazy. - Sorry, Bo. - Federal. (laughing) - I dropped her up in the last episode. - I know, I'm joking. (laughing) But no, part of me was like, maybe I was stupid not to do that. And then I was like, no, it was definitely the best bet. 'Cause I would have been like, at two, I would have been like, we gotta go back. This is crazy. We gotta go home. You know, I wasn't trying to damper the vibe. - Could you not have just peeled off yourself at midnight or something and gone home? - No, 'cause then that would have failed. That kind of feels like storming out in a way, you know? - Okay. - Like I'm ready to go home. - Yeah, you know, I'm somebody who my friends know that I have a, when I say I'm going, they don't try to convince me anymore. - Yeah, right. - So that just comes with like age, where you can be like, I'm going home, don't fucking try. - Yeah, yeah. - And they'll be like, all right, off you go. Thank you for coming out. Great time. We'll see you later. - Yeah, no, there definitely was. Your friends don't respect you like that. - No, that was, there was a lot of respect. Tons of respect. Like I usually I would go. - And then I would just kind of like. - Maybe like you could have got some new jokes. Like that's where like the good bits come from, you know? Being out with your buddies, like making a joke. They all laugh. You're like, maybe I add this to my act. - Give it up on Sunday. - It was with them from Thursday through Sunday. So we got to have all those jokes. - You ever go out with your buddies to Cafe Wa? - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - I was there recently with my friends and they wanted so much more than I did. - Yeah, yeah, exactly. - For white guys walking to a bar type of thing. - Yeah, so I mean, it was the great compromise. We compromised and everyone had a good time. Everyone had a great weekend. - I was having a great time with my buddies at Cafe Wa, and I said, I'm going home and on the way home, I was sober so I bought a Fitbit. - Mm, yeah, I stopped at Dicks. - For the first time ever. - I stopped at Dicks on the way home from Cafe Wa. - You ever get, you ever get some Thai food? You realize there's no winner? Guess that's why they call it a Thai. - That's how you feel like that, you know what I mean? - As you can do, use that, use that. - That's gold. - We're all very rattled by the attack on our friend Danny. (laughing) - There was a silent disco happening in the story. - Someone knows how to do that. - I was just telling me about a silent disco recently. - It was very interesting to observe. They looked like they were all having a fucking blast. - They do it in Dumbo. They do a fucking silent ballet in Dumbo. - What? - Those headphones look cool as fuck, and I wish I had them. - That you walk around the neighborhood and a pair of people like do a dance at different locations in Dumbo. - Yeah, they're trying to gentrify the silent disco. - Yeah, we're not gonna have any of that. - We're not having it. - It's old school in the story. There's a bunch of people. - There's a place in the story I wanna go so bad. I saw Joey Langone actually tagged you. It was like a story of fish fry or something. - Oh yeah. - There's a live fish market and you pick your fish right in front of the giant prawns and stuff like that. - I know. - Go everyone's there. - You've never been in your life. - You've never been once. - Go every week. - It's a Greek spot. - It's a spot. - No, but I know exactly where it is and I've walked by it a hundred times. - You didn't even like the video that Joey Langone tagged you in. You didn't even like his comments of tagging you. - Were you checking? - It came up on my algorithm naturally. - You can't see who likes what comment. - There's no likes next to his comment. - Check again. - No, no, no. - I just gotta make sure to like it before this episode comes out. (laughing) - No, no, no. I just think it's very disrespectful. Francis, you would have been a great addition to his friend group though. - I would have liked to have been there. - We had a great time, especially on Saturday. Well, at least because that was when I was, I was really thriving in the environment. But like we were gonna go out in as in Queens and I was like ready to go and they were like, I think I'm just chill tonight and I was like, that's exactly what I was hoping you guys were gonna say. - So you guys got on land and bust it down? I played some Black Ops 2, split screen, four screens and one I got smoked every time. And then we played some UFC, which was pretty fun. And then we'd be at the end of the night with some NHL 16. Didn't want to buy the new one. (laughing) - That's all the same game. - Yeah. - It was a fuck, just different dude. - It's different jersey. - If you don't follow hockey, it doesn't matter. - Yeah, that was the last time I followed hockey. Patrick Cain's on the black hocks where he's supposed to be. - Isn't that where he is now? - He just went back, but he was on what the Red Wings for a couple of years? - Yeah, Francis you would have thrived. - I would have liked to have been there with them. - What the hell were you doing? - I was with my family in Maine. - Oh yes, yes, yes. Which was really nice. - You as playing a split screen? (laughing) - No, although I did have major breakthroughs with my nieces and nephews. - Really? - By the way, this scratch on my face is from my niece - I didn't see it. - Who's one and a half. - I missed it. - She gored me with her nails. - I thought that when I first saw it, I thought it was from the scrap. - I'll tell people that going for it. - You got hit with like a rogue ice cube? - No. (laughing) - That's why we need paper straws. (laughing) - This happened from an 18 month old. But we had a great time. I played a lot. I was in the pool with them the whole time 'cause you know, the pool was my backyard.
- Yeah, of course. - 'Cause I live in the pool. - Yeah, is that the house? - Yeah. - Do you say it's like your pool? - No, but it's my bathtub. - Yeah, you don't want anyone in there when you're not home. - Well, what bothers me is that everyone comes up and then they make a mess and they leave their wet towels around and it's like, I have to clean it up 'cause that's my space. - Yeah. - It looks messy. - Yeah, but at one point, my nieces and nephews are very shy, so they've been pretty skeptical of me. And each time I see them, I try to progress with them a little bit and earn their trust and get them to like me a little bit more. And this time, I really had made so much progress with my nephews, specifically, he's three. And I asked him if he wanted me to take him to get ice cream in town. I actually asked that of both he and my, him and my niece. And they agreed and then my niece backed out at the last second, I was getting them into the call. - How old is she? - Wow. - She's five. - Oh, God. - Oh, I thought she was 18 months. - She, no, well, I have one who's 18 months and then I have a three-year-old nephews. - Getting backed out on by an 18 month old. - Yeah, I'm actually good, I'm just going to chill here. - When she learned that her mom, my sister, wasn't coming, she was like, I don't want to do this. And I was like, you're ruining it. (laughing) Because now I figured Theo was going to want to back out. But Theo is brave and stayed true to the plan. - Yeah. - And strapped himself into his car seat. I drove the car and we got to Freeport to go to Ben and Jerry's. - Oh. - And it was Saturday night and we parked the car and we walked up through this like shopping center kind of where this outdoor shopping center where Ben and Jerry's is now. And dude, it was so abandoned. And so empty on a Saturday night. - Really? - There were very, very few people and it was quiet. - I thought you were going to say it was packed. - No, it was quiet and eerie. And he's shy. So he wouldn't hold my hand as we were walking. So I was walking like three or four feet in front of him. And I was like, man, this really looks like human traffic. - Yeah, yeah, that's tough. - I was so conscious of how the optics of me, escorting this child that doesn't really want much to do with me, but like doesn't really know where to go. And I'm bringing him to get ice cream to like indenture, trust, engender trust from him. And not indenture, engender trust. - He looked like your indentured servant though. - Yeah, he was like, it was so, I was so conscious of that. - Why didn't you walk next to him? Why are you guys single file? - He was walking so slowly that I felt like if I walked next to him, we would just stop. I had to mush him on a little bit. - Yeah, definitely looks a little human trafficking. - But like him walking behind you makes it seem like he's like your Muslim wife. - Yeah, did he pay for himself at the counter? (laughing) - I want to split it. I don't want you to get that long idea. - And I'm like, he wants this, I read all the flavors and he was like, I want those two. And I was like, okay, so she starts scooping them for him. And I'm like, yo, you don't need to scoop them that big. - Yeah. - It's like, this is the smallest size we do. And I was like, adjusting. (laughing) - I go smaller. We'll pay the same. - What the fuck do you mean? You're incapable of giving less ice cream for the same price? She's like, this is a kitty. And it's like two giant scoops. I'm like, he can't eat all of that. And sure enough, he didn't. He probably didn't even have half. And then I ate the rest of his in addition to mine, which is why I did cardio this morning and I'm going back for weights later. - You should have explained that. You should have said, he's not gonna eat it. And then I'm gonna have to eat his entire thing. - You should have pulled up your shirt. You should have like, showed her your midsection. - Look what you're hurting. - She was not aware that I am training. - Training the Olympics. But no, she'll know soon. - When you're walking in with that gold on your chest. - When you have the rings tattooed. - The pride of free for it. - Next time we walk in, where are you gonna put the tattoo honestly? - Yeah. - For also like, everyone can see it. - Chest meat shaft. - No, but. (laughing) - So that they- - It's just two rings. It's like the back of a mad man. - It looks like a slinky when I'm flaccid. - Yeah. - And then when I'm hard, it's the Olympic Grandflake. - Yeah. - That's great. - I went to the zoo this weekend with my seed. And we switched to the wagon instead of the stroller so they can stand. And on the way out, we got a dip and dots for them. Two different flavors of dip and dots. First dip and dots experience of their life. - Wow. - And it just turned into such a fucking crime scene. And I felt myself in the same scenario just wishing that there were less dip and dots to give. 'Cause they lose their integrity so fast. Like as soon as the dip and dots hits the bottom of the carriage. And I made the mistake and put my sweatshirt at the bottom and there it's fucking tight eye now. - Covered in dip and dots. - It's covered in dip and dots. - And dots. - Yeah. - It's fucking brutal. - It's the worst. - It was so nasty. - I'm not a big dip and dots guy. - Nor I'll say it. - It's the idea. - Never got the idea, never understood the hype. - Probably had 'em once. - Hated 'em. - When they came out, it was supposed to be like the future. - Yeah. - It was supposed to be the ice cream. - There was like no one's gonna have ice cream anymore. They're just gonna have dip and dots. - Right. - Wasn't it branded as ice cream in space? - Space ice cream. - Space ice cream that they gave to the astronauts? - And they had like to go dip and dots. Like I remember getting him out of any machine inside of a tariff, yeah. - Yeah. - But they like somehow they like burn your tone. - Yeah. - It's like a freezer burn, your tongue. Like it's so cold that it's actually painful. - Is it really like it's that cold? Are they all in like a container? Like they're all pre-packaged. - They weren't pre-packaged. There was like a woman working the dip and dots booth. - What does that mean? So she has like a big thing like ice cream of dip and dots. - Yeah, she's like scooping them. - Scooping the fucking beads. - That just can't be. - Well, it was there, and they're all over the zoo. - Oh yeah, of course. - They're everywhere in the zoo. It's a fun town, splash town, USA, where American families come to play. They had dip and dots, but they were always just single cup. You didn't, no one was scooping it. - Yeah. - They were pre-made. - Yeah, that's what I had. - They were made in space. - Yeah. - They're moon rocks, basically. - They were so cold. - Yeah. - That was all I've ever had is the pre-packaged. I've never gone to an official dip and dots vendor before. - It's pretty rotten. - Yeah. Is it like a store locator where I could like find them? - No. - They're every five feet of the zoo. (laughs) - No, there isn't a store locator. - There should be. - That's like asking if there's like a store locator for snickers. - I'm a big store locator guy. - Make sure they have exactly what I'm looking for. - Okay, bananas. - Yeah. - Going on to the store locator for dip and dots, we'll get you on a watch list. - The fuck do you have to like find? - What if you're like not an ice cream guy? - It's probably a snake operator. - You want a cold treat. (laughs) - I want something that's like ice cream but it's not actually like it at all. But I have to eat it with a spoon. - It's pretty much, you're looking for a popsicle with a spoon. You're looking for an Italian ice. - And these kids were just going in my children. We're just going in with like fistfuls of dip and dots and just trying to crush it into their face. Which in that theory like that should be like ideal. They could just eat them like peas or something but it was terrible. - They don't break down either. - What zoo did you shoot them right out? - The Bronx Zoo. - That's one of the better ones, right? - It is the best zoo. - In the country? - I mean, it's the best you ever been to. I think the San Diego Zoo is supposed to be fantastic. - Which zoo was this? - The Bronx Zoo. - We just talked about it. - I know what I was saying made a funny joke when you guys were talking. - Say it again, say it again. - I said they don't break down like you come out whole like corn. - It was funny. - But you was funny. The comments still talking about the dip and dots. - Yeah, yeah. (laughs) - 'Cause we moved on to the zoo. - Yeah, the Bronx zoo. - The kids, they literally had so much chocolate dip and dots on their face. It looked like the old Justin Trudeau pictures. - Oh no, that's tough. - In the Bronx. - Oh, you had chocolate dots. - We had the chocolate and the rainbow. - I've only ever had the fruit kind. - By the way, now we're back on the dots. - Yeah, yeah. - So you wanna hit that joke? - They don't break down. (laughs) - In the stomach like corn? - Corn, corn, corn. - You should have right out. - Right, it's a good one. - Okay, let's talk about zoos. So the San Diego Zoo they say is the best. - But the Bronx. - This Bronx zoo, it feels like it's fully immersed in nature. And the Philadelphia Zoo is like concrete everywhere. There's no part that like tricks the lions into feeling like they're in nature. The tigers that we saw, I think thought they were in nature. - Yeah, yeah. I've only been to the one in Chicago, I think. - And the one in Central Park. - The one in Central Park is small but mighty. - Yeah. - It's amazing. They've got snow efforts there. - Snow efforts in them. - I'm not a zoo, I'm not really a big zoo guy to be honest. Anti. - Why? Captivity. - Captivity, bad treat. - I'd rather eat my animals than have them live in captivity. - But we're not eating snow leopards. - I bet they're good. - I'm sure they are. They probably better if they're not in Central Park. (laughs) This is a natural place for snow leopards to exist. The center of Manhattan. - They do convince you as you're leaving, they're like these two lions being in captivity has actually replenished.
the lion population. They make it seem like just because these two gave up their lives, like their martyr lions that all the other lions can now live, like completely forgetting about the lived experience of these two lions that are actually in captivity. I wonder what's bad news. I wonder what the justification there is that having two lions in captivity would somehow help the population. I think it raises awareness that the lions exist or that these lions are maybe losing or a percentage of the proceeds of the lion's exhibit goes to these people in the creature. Imagine a guy who's going to that zoo and seeing those lions and being like, these are fucking lions. I didn't think these existed. I thought I was killing raccoons. Out of the Sahara, I've been killing these things. This is the first time hearing about this. It's bringing a lot of awareness, a lot of awareness situation. You might have to go there. Or no, you didn't kill any animals. No, I didn't. No. You wanted to. You met a guy that killed animals. Who's that in your joke? When you just remembered it, forgot about that. Yeah. There were bears. There's fucking big-ass bears terrifying bears. Like what kind, black? Polar? Brown, but they're really big. But are they brown black bears? Oh, it just said brown bears. Yeah. Yeah. I went. May as well. I've just gone to a dog shelter and a dog. These were fucking huge grisly cats. You saw a couple cats. You're thinking of the ones that like people see and like breaking into their air being bees in the coconose. You're like, hey, bear. And they go out the window with a loaf of wonder bread. That's what they had at your thing. It probably weren't even. Were they moving? Dude, they were fucking terrifying. The tigers too. The tigers were terrifying. Tigers is always cool. Tigers were so cool. Tigers are my white whale. Oh, my God. I just remembered. Well, anyway, I'm sorry. No, no, I'm done. A bit about aquariums. Are we fan of aquariums? Do we believe in aquariums as a podcast? Yeah, I like them. I'm a I'm pro aquarium. Antazoo. Why? Just feels right. Cause fish are dumber. They're way dumber. And they're also existing in their natural habitat in the tank. True. The tank is more similar to their natural habitat. I kind of agree. It doesn't feel that way, but it does. It feels I don't know. If you're one of the big sharks in the tank, you're getting fucked. But if you're one of the little guys, you're like, you wouldn't know the difference between this and the ocean. And you're probably living a lot longer as a fish. Oh, yeah, a tank. Then it might be if you were out in the big bad. I think that they said the Tigers lived to 16 years, but in captivity, they lived to 25. Oh, wow. That's significantly longer. But it's not a net. Like you're probably they're probably after 16 years, they're probably like confused. Yeah. Like I was supposed to die 10 years ago. Yeah. The fuck is going on here. Tyler, can you look up whether any zoo animals are allowed to kill live animals? Like, do lines at the zoo get to hunt the Niala or the Kudu or the springbok at the zoo? Yeah, they got one of those fishing rods. There should be one day of the year where they let them all go into one pen together and see what happens. Yeah, they spend the wet wheel and see who has to pay their own blood. They do not at all. Because like, I feel like the like a snake in captivity, they still get to taste the sweet kill of a mouse. Of course, of course. A snake in captivity might have it worse than anyone else. You think? Bro, they're never seen a snake fully extended in captivity. They're always like purled up into like a ball. They're dying to stretch out. Do you think they are? Of course. Because they're nocturnal. That's why you see them all sleeping like that. But they don't even have the room to stretch out if they wanted to. Oh, they do. My ball python used to stretch out in the all night long and make weird sounds. Wait, if a snake stretches out, doesn't that mean it's like planning to kill you? I think those are venomous snakes probably that are strike, you know, a constrictor. I don't think that's what's happening. I thought constrictors would like people would find their constrictor embed next to them fully stretched out because they're literally sizing you up to see if you'll fit inside their body. Oh, really? I've heard. Yeah, I'm anti-snake. So it doesn't really matter to me if they're comfortable or not. I'm anti the entire species. Hate them. Disgusting. Same Patrick ass. Yeah. It's like those like years, those videos of people being like, wow, we didn't know we had a python living in our ceiling. And it's like collapsing through the house. I would just kill myself right there. That's exclusive. I'll never get over this. Yeah. Like that shit is not happening locally. No, no. But you never know. Good. Actually, it happened with my sister's house. No, no, it didn't. Gigantic snake upstairs. Where does she live? Oh, Bo went to the 205 club. Oh, hell no, bro. Yeah, like shit like this. I'm blowing my head clean off. You're killing yourself. Yeah. Before I kill before I kill the snakes, I'm killing myself and coming back as it's just like I won't be able to recover from this. I'll never sleep at night again. I mean, like, sorry, yeah, sorry, that noise. We just pulled a 40 foot python out of your attic. Where does your sister live? I need to know Bethesda. What Maryland? Yeah. There's a fucking python in her. Marathon. Maryland's got rattlesnakes. No, I swear. I swear it does. And so does Pennsylvania. It's got a timber rattlesnakes. I don't know where this. They had a forest though. They're not like in people's houses. Yeah. See, I got it completely right. Timber rattlesnakes. Wow. Harry, nice job. And I know that because I was I went camping in Pennsylvania and I was looking it up and there were like, beware of timber rattlesnakes. That actually makes it less impressive. And then I was fishing just made on that. I was fishing just a timber snake. They called me Mr. Snake. Timber Timber Timber Snake. I was I was fishing in Maryland and I looked down to the left of me and there was a snake in the water. That's quit fishing. Never. I didn't fish again that day. Blue your head clean off. Yeah, I killed myself. You've been a ghost ever since then. No, but I was wondering. I was like, I wonder if that was a timber rattlesnake, but I don't think it was. I think it was just a garden snake. I can't believe he had such a fall from grace. To me, Justin Timberlake was the coolest guy forever. Forever. I'll never turn on him. Me neither. I won either. He was just on stage with somebody and he was fucking he was being really cool. You'd have to show me some really bad stuff of him. All right, everybody. This podcast is brought to you by Wayfair. I was out. I went out in Portland in Maine on Friday night with my buddy Ryan Oaks, who is the funniest person alive. He's just the most manor guy I've ever met in high school. Like literally, we would go. I mean, he would get into fights for fun. Like it would be him against some guy from Portland high school and we'd meet at the train tracks. Now he delivers uberies, fight them with like people around. Yeah. But this is before we would just like square up. Yeah. Well, that anyway, great guy. Sounds like it. Really, really great guy. Hilarious. He and I went to dinner first to even tie, which I've. Favorite restaurant being one of my favorite. Those oysters looked incredible that you posted. Probably my favorite restaurant in the world. And is it Thai? Is that what you said? Even Thai? Even tied. Oh, okay. And I had a show. I did a clip on on largest show where I talked, yes, you know, what's if you could go to one restaurant. I said that one and I talked about it a little bit. And that clip blew up. So they knew I was coming and they kept bringing shit out. That what we weren't even ordering when they hit you with like stuff that wasn't on the menu. They had this tomato dish. And he was like the chef just threw a whole bunch of crab on there for you. And I don't know, all kinds of stuff. So we had a very big meal with lots of drinks for dinner. And then we went out to this place called the port hole in Portland, which I'd never been to before. And it's it's like a lie. Well, it's a bar that's got a DJ and it's loud. And it's all outside right on the dock on the wall. And dude, I kind of went to Maine and I was in pretty poor spirits about just life. And you know, I get into these funks sometimes. This night brought me all the way back. Oh, love that. I haven't felt more like loved and embraced and celebrated. Then I did in Portland, Maine on Friday night. The number of people who came up to me and like wanted pictures. And we're like, where's where's Ronan Sass? Like you guys are killing it. Just super, super nice. And honestly, I felt like a hometown hero. It's fucking awesome. You are. Love that. Dude, at one point though, there was there were two bars where you could get drinks. And at one of them, there was one person servicing it. And there were kind of like two places to stand in line. And I was on the left. And then there was like a line on the right. And I thought she was going to come over to me, but she kept like hitting just the line on the right. So I was like, oh, fuck, I need to get in that line. So I went to go get in that line. And then some guy who was in front was like, Francis, I got to buy your drinks for you. And I was like, no, no, no, I got other people. I'm buying drinks for you. He's like, I insist. I'm like, come on, dude, I can't. He's like, trust me. I have to do this. I was like, whoa, okay. So then he buys my drinks. And I'm handing them to the people in my party. And they're like, wow, thanks, Francis. And I was like, no, no, no, I can't take credit. This guy bought the drinks. And I put my arm across sort of the line to point out. And the guy who was standing behind my arm goes, don't you put your fucking arm in my face. You just cut everyone. And now you're putting your arm in my face. And I was like, whoa, shit. And he was the oldest guy there. He's probably in his 50s. He's wearing a hat. He's a salty dog. And I've been in a fight in Portland, Maine once before. And it did not go my way. And so immediately, I was just trying to like, deescalate. I was like, no, I was just trying to give that guy credit. I'm sorry. And he was like, yeah, yeah. Okay. I saw what happened. You cut. I was like, I didn't cut just the guy offered to buy me the drinks. And he was in front of you. And I tried to fight him off, but he wouldn't. So he wouldn't. Wasn't having any. Yeah. Well, what would you have done in that situation? I think it's an easy win. You fight this guy. He's the oldest guy at the bar. This guy's got to get redemption. This guy's a salty dog. I mean, I personally, yeah, was I in the wrong? No, no. But I mean, I would have dropped that guy on the ground. Sure. Yeah. I mean, but for co-cat him, yeah, I killed them, but filmed it for you. I want to say you know, you, um, now it sounds like he's just a random pissed guy. Whatever. I handed the drinks out. Then we went back. I was a little rattle. That was a little like red in the face. And I didn't, I didn't want to. I was in such a good mood that I wasn't going to be like, fuck that guy. Then I saw him later. And I went up to him. And I just went, I was wrong. And he goes, you know, I, I appreciate that. Like I get it. You know, we're coming down from Massachusetts. And I was like, you're not even a fucking loak. Oh, come on. I didn't say that. But I was like, I was like, I'd like to buy you a drink if I can. He's down on our driving home. We can't have any more than what we got here. And I'm like, okay. We shook hands. It was fine. It's good to squash. It felt good to squash. It is good to squash. That's all people really want a lot of the time. It's like the acknowledgement that they feel seen and like validated in how they feel as opposed to you explaining your side to them. Right. But I just, I just act we asked even though I was not wrong. Yeah. By the way, when I say I put my arm across like if you're standing in line facing that way, I went like this. That guy. That guy bought us the drink. And he like took my arm and he was like, get your arm out of my face. It's crazy. It's not like I was like this thing. I didn't do that. It's pretty crazy to. Yeah. I don't know. I mean, he was mad that I he thought that I almost had cut by proxy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know. I know. I know what he means by like the, I don't know. Yeah, it's not your fault. I didn't ask that guy to buy me the drink now. Now he's very nice. It's not your fault at all. And that guy was probably on his way to like protest some woman, murdered trial or whatever the massachusetts do. The Clancy trial, the Clancy trial, Karen Reed. I said earlier when you were in the meeting, I was like, it was me, Francis and Sean. And I was like, oh, the, the Clancy Clancy's lawyer just asked for a mistrial. And Francis was like, Kevin Clancy. Oh, you go, you guys hear about this Clancy murder trial. Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, no. Only people from Massachusetts care about that, but you guys care enough for the whole nation. Yes, dude. I know. Every time I look it up, the video is have like 10 million views. And it's all the fucking central mass people. So it's another, it's another Karen Reed test. It's exactly that. And it's just like, it's like going to the courthouse. It's way worse. Why? It's no one. It depends on if you how much you value a cop's life. It's cops again. No, no, but if a cop's life equals three children, then they would be equal, which it could. I'm not just saying whatever you value that life as. It was bad. It's bad. They're both bad. I don't know any of the specifics. Yeah. She killed her kids. They think that he did it or a lot of people think that he did it. And she jumped out the window. No, she's paralyzed in jail. No, she's not paralyzed or in jail, but close. Well, I don't care. My thing about this trial is I don't give a fuck. She is not paralyzed at all. I don't think so at least. She blamed it on postpartum psychosis. Bro, like this is from ductsbury. That's where you're from. It is. Yeah, it's the deluxe people. Very closely. The deluxe berry trials. The deluxe berry murders. They're calling her the devil of ductsbury. Her house was too big. No. Yeah, I don't know. There's a lot of weird shit. I'm not saying she did it or he did it or what. But Yeah, that's just what happens to girls when they get pregnant. Yeah, that's the thing is like that's definitely not what happened. Postpartum psychosis is like, you cannot blame some shit. You cannot blame something on that. No, but I can't blame something that this magnitude on that always psychosis. He's got a lot of sketchy shit too. There's a lot of stuff that he's saying that does not make sense. Did you ever see that the true crime doc about the guy who was having an affair. So he ended up murdering his wife and two killed kids and buried them in a grain silo? Of course, as if that would just solve. But that's like, I think that is what these dudes do. Well, they're like, they're like stressed out and they're like, I don't know what else to do other than just kill my entire family. I mean, what was no worthy about that was that that dude had become obsessed with fitness. And like whenever he got stressed, he would just start working out. Oh, yeah. And I was thinking I was like, this morning, after I leaving, I went to the gym this morning, you did 45 minutes of incline treadmill work. Not bad. What was the incline? What was the rate? I was at 13 incline on 3.5 for 45 minutes. Not bad. 3.5. Is that a sprint? 3.5. That's nothing crazy. It's not anything over three is pretty fucking fast. Well, I'm anyway, I need to lose 10 minutes when you have that fucking brace on your leg. It is brother, because you got a fucking garment on because you've got even two miles in fucking in your chuck tailors. Doesn't mean that somehow you're some fitness expert. I know a thing or two. Yeah, he has been running. That's why he's wearing that. Yeah. The incline left the incline treadmill behind. Well, I hit that and then I knew I was going to go weights this afternoon. I mean, I know I'm going to throw some weight around. Of course, right? Because I'm doing two days. And I thought to myself, I was like, boy, that guy killed his family, was working out like this. Am I going to kill someone?
I started thinking about that like is this level of obsession with working out? The first step is like no Frogs for carrying my children. No, no, no, no, no, because what probably happened to see probably stopped working I don't even know where I'd find a green something. No, it's a chill day. They have some upstate. Yeah No, I don't think so because I think like for most people that working out helps Which for him it seems like it it was not it was not helping You didn't really have to I'm almost strong enough to kill Just about there once I get my deadlift to Finally have the strength to carry my entire family to the top of a grain style. Yeah, I mean that's tough You got to get like snowshoe like I had to he not fall through the grain. You have snowshoe's honors of them That was the smoking guy. Yeah He never thought about it. He never thought about the no Training, I think in like he had to have some sort of cross-country skis. Yeah, something something to help him not Yeah, wiring breaches It is gonna kill your entire family. You've got to make sure you've got surface area on your shoes You have to drink some piss first The the dude in this the the big reason that everyone's looking at it is because Patrick Clancy the husband Was like in Costa Rica like three weeks after they all were murdered with like his new girlfriend who then he ended up marrying Oh, yeah, okay, so similar. Maybe he's having an affair and did some drastic shit Yeah, or she punished him for the affair by Killing the entire family. That's another angle possible It's definitely possible. It's crazy that some of the guys who like trained to the point of being able to kill someone that you wind up on this In this no man's land or like you're on a ledger could go either way into like Violent murder or like just vigilante justice. Yeah, like if he had been caught on another day Maybe he doesn't throw his body his family's body into a silo and he like stops Someone that attacked his family and then he gets the gratification of the murder and everything is satisfied But you don't have to have been the villain. I think that's a good idea Have like someone like you like stage home invasions Right for like and the people that do them are like deeply suicidal Death by home invasion when wind wind situation death by fax symbol home invasion. Yeah Because that's what a lot of people want a lot of people just want to like Stop home invasion. That's a really elegant way to go a lot of people like that Everyone that has a gun. They're like I'm just waiting for that one day. Did either of you see the rest of someone comes in? Did either of you see the Reggie Watts video? No, oh my god, dude It's the it's the great. Do you know who Reggie Watts is? No, he's the guy. He's this guy Do I do know who I thought that might be who was do I want to see this video? I mean, he made a video talking about his girlfriend who had killed herself. Oh, and he was like she picked the really elegant way to have gone gone out and I love myself I think he just started talking it is just like the most dark and narcissistic video that You could ever imagine. Oh, is he a comedian? Yes, yeah, but he loves himself I think he got her hooked on ketamine or something like that and I think there's maybe been a behavior of that type of Or a cycle of that much behavior, but the video was just I don't know the kids in also the case, but the video was just extremely disturbing What happened with that actress that died? Oh Yeah, what was that all about? Yeah, yeah, she was killed. Did you know that she used to date Vladimir Klitschko? Oh The box right for God came with the mayor of Kiev Yes, and is in the streets fighting the Russians. Imagine running into him in an alley if you're some fucking grunt in the Russian Army That's talk six foot nine former heavyweight champion of the world And imagine and she's like four ten. Yeah, yeah It might have been his brother, by the way I get those two completely convenient. Vitaly of Vladimir Kritsch Klitschko. Yeah, Vitaly the youtuber. Yeah, it was Vitaly By the way, prankster A lot of it. Oh You think prankster. Yeah, yeah, they suck pranking is over. Yeah, I think I think we're past pranking. We're post-prank We are a society post-prank. I think it's just It's everyone's too on edge. It was ever since that Don't tell Jenny Jackal That's true. She's keeping the flavor alive Did you see that clip of it was an old clip of action-culture on punk? Oh, yeah, I've seen talking about Hillary Duff Yeah, and he's like she's one of those girls that yeah Everyone in Hollywood is waiting for to turn 18 and then he give her and the ulcer There's a list of girls that are waiting to turn 18 He's like and he says it. Yeah, he's just so He murdered he murdered his ex-girlfriend, too. Yes For you're waiting to turn 18 because it changes the murder statute. Yeah, did you guys know about this? We have that we've talked about this on the podcast, right? Of course. What? Ashton Kutcher murdering his ex-girlfriend. He showed up Oh, the house actress. Yeah from Clueless no, not Britney Murphy. I don't know clue. I just know that there was like a there's some some weird thing where He showed up to her house when they were supposed to go in a date and there's blood all over the floor And I think he thought it was like spilled coffee or some shit like that. He bailed wait It was she was killed by a serial killer Michael Garg Giello known as the Hollywood Ripper real convenient real convenient Wow He has to be pretty psyched about that name the Hollywood Ripper. Yeah That's crazy We can't be like given serial killer's sick names like we have to call him like the gay clown Like they can't be like prideful like The Hollywood Ripper is like you're going into a bar with like you got a little bit of an ego You don't know who I am do you on the Hollywood Ripper? Yeah Drinks on the house we're big fans of yours here The butcher of the story the night stalker. Yeah, I'm the night stalker a Stock you in the night legend holy shit. You're actually him Can you solve me? Yeah, can I I have to buy you a drink If I was like Netflix or like HBO and your company that's probably widely relying on True crime documentaries. That's like one of your main sources of Output like this is the biggest thing they do yeah, you're probably anti-flop camera like if I'm Netflix I'm donating to anti-flop campaigns because like that's going to kill any potential for there to be a serial killer or Untal murder exactly what are you just get a lot more footage? But it's kind of like been proven I feel like that no one really wants to see these like Not crazy like no one wants to just watch a documentary about someone getting murdered in my opinion You want to you want there to be some mystery involved? You want there to be mystery and you want there to be like you want it to be a crazy case Like I don't want to just wash random documentaries these garden variety murders are boring us No, I don't even they're probably boring. It's just like it's too. It's like weird. It's like more dark I feel like we're just nobody I mean yeah, I don't know man at people were at least they were obsessed with serial killers That was the thing. No, that's what I'm saying. I'm saying you need it to be a serial killer So cameras would mean they'd just kill one or two people. Yeah, but I mean they can't it's just sick and twisted We need them to get away with a lot of it before Why don't they do a documentary about whatever's going on in Austin because haven't they killed like 50 just dudes by the lake? Is that still going on? Yes, that's been happening for years. Yeah, that has been happening for years. I remember Doing Vulcan gas company. Yeah, five years ago and people were talking about. Yeah, I remember that I remember that too It's still hot. Oh no active serial killer. We just shut up grok Yeah, cuz AI is like trained not to tell you that anything is bad. Everything's fine. Yeah, now is a perfect time to get a serial killer ever Serial killer. I've never heard that word before. I'll add that to my vocabulary and that's just fine And that's fine. I love those. I love that like AI tone so funny All right Oh, yeah, what happened to Steven the cat? Oh wait, we had to call a gillian wallow bro gillian wallow came in and use the studio and now Steven the cat is going did they abuse him on camera? I heard that they tore it apart. That would make me so sad and sick because I don't even know how I could get another Steven the cat And I don't want to have to put a fatwa on gillian wallow, but like we need our cat return. Isn't there a mood? Is that what John Wicks about yeah, that is it is We need you. I think there's a movie with key and peel about going to get a cat. Yes, or that or something There's now it is very on it. It's very similar to mix the key and peel movie with John Wicks using your training I don't need to go in like taking.
- Well, they better bring the cat back. - We'll be here Wednesday. - Gilly, Wally, we want our cat back. - No questions. - I think Busta Rhymes is in here with them. - So also Busta is suspect. We have an eye on Busta Busta. - That's pretty cool. - I'll Busta him if I have to. If he doesn't return that cat, I like Busta. - Return the cat. - Cool, thanks guys. - All right, we'll be back on on Thursday. - Goodbye. (upbeat music)
