A Birthday Quiche: Friday, November 6th, 2026

The hosts, Jackson, Claude, and Jackie, celebrate Jackie’s 34th birthday with an energetic, in-studio birthday extravaganza, marking a rare moment of connection after years of remote work. A special gift—a signed copy of Sophia Franklin’s memoir *Daddy Issues*—is shared, highlighting its exclusivity and emotional significance. The episode also reflects on a memorable late-night dinner with partners, blending humor and warmth with stories of collaboration and shared experiences. A major discussion centers on the rumors surrounding Jen Affleck’s divorce and Zach’s public statements, where the hosts analyze the videos with nuance, emphasizing that early marital conflict is not definitive proof of current issues and calling for balance and empathy. They also critique the new Met Gala theme, which they view as a troubling shift from high fashion to everyday items, calling it a loss of tradition and prestige. The hosts advocate for respectful, private family dynamics in public disputes, particularly in high-profile marriages, and stress the importance of protecting children’s well-being. Throughout, the tone remains warm and reflective, acknowledging the complexity of fame, relationships, and personal truth, while urging listeners to approach such stories with care, context, and emotional intelligence.

I was fighting for my life in the night. We went out to dinner with some bigwigs at Patreon. Yes, we had just sort of, like, a collaborative meeting of the minds. You're a traditional gal. In that sense. Mm-hmm. What are the stories like today? Oh, I mean, huge. I mean, have you seen Jen Affleck's TikToks? No. Okay. Was our hypothesis right? No. Well, so, Zach Affleck spoke first, and he made this, like, five-minute-long TikTok, the high-level. The high-level things were that a year ago, at the end of Dancing with the Stars, Jen asked for a divorce. He begged her to stay. We're, like, let's work on it. I'll change whatever you want me to change. I'll fix whatever you need me to fix. And then, now a year has passed, and he felt like he was her biggest supporter, yada, yada, and it wasn't enough, and she filed. He found out via TMZ. Right. And she filed on the daughter's birthday. The daughter. That's what I heard. Jen Affleck posted two of the craziest TikToks. I guess she just has a lot of photos. zach spoke out yesterday saying that he found out about the divorce from tmz and then he also said like he didn't say this in so many words but like he wasn't necessarily blindsided he wasn't like this has been an ongoing conversation and then one other thing i wanted to share is like a blind item that's taken the community by storm i don't know if you know about it alleging completely alleged i have no proof besides a blind item that he was not faithful and um that unfaithfulness resulted in a pregnancy with another woman and a child well i don't know if the child's been born yet but like okay that's what the rumor all alleged is and that's like the thing that's been going on for a long time and that's what the rumor all alleged is and that's the thing that led jen to finally filing well that will do it and that's like what we said something crazy yeah that's something crazy yeah you're right right i'm just trying to be real with you guys um that's the first one oh you know if i did how long the ground what is there no i mean no no other towels i've been doing all your laundry so the past forever i got a little bit more help maybe it'd be nice maybe we have some towels i'm not putting that in there i'm serious yeah the first one is really bad yeah that one like it's it can be chalked up to like a marital dispute like how many times i might get your towel off of course and like if so out of like if someone just filmed that and like it would just it just looks so nasty but of course seeing that like he looks terrible that first one is really bad he has responded to yes he said this was a video from 2022 obviously horrible and should have never been said when i saw the video today i was absolutely shocked i had said that i said a lot of horrible and hurtful things but i've tried my best to learn and grow so the person who said that is the exact person we saw in chippendales i think that this has been huge for the group of people who don't believe zach affleck have changed but this doesn't prove that he didn't change this just goes to show like really how awful he was back then and we know that the second video does look more recent because we can see what he looks like and his hair has been through a journey his hair tells it like a timeline that's more recent yes because he had his very long hair and then he had his buzz and now he has like a sort of like lob and he has like a mid haircut right now i think it's in the last year oh but i feel like we can tell from her that it doesn't look recent well she does look is she not a little pregnant in that video i don't know and i guess she's had multiple pregnancies but right like which one could it be no the first one is clearly like so old you can tell by their house and her hair yeah and she said i'm trying to be an influencer right right so that's even before the show was filming and it's just funny because that's the job that ended up like paying their bills for five years of course and we know that like he didn't support like this whole world of mom talk and influencing which is a shitty thing for a husband to do to like not support your wife's dreams especially you look really stupid when she goes on to be so successful i'm trying to see if anyone in the comments has context clues as to what it is it doesn't really matter um no but it does matter in the sense that like there is this growth that we thought we had seen right yeah And we know that he was shit early days of their relationship. So this just like confirms that he was shit and actually shows really like how nasty he was. But like the argument is that like he had changed. He said that he was trying to work on himself for the last year. And if these videos are recent, then yeah, he hasn't changed. But if they're old, it doesn't like disprove the fact that he just changed. Yeah. I also feel like I could see him having been like a really like very stereotypical bad husband. And like definitely hated like as she got more successful. And that sort of like put him like on the balls of his ass a little bit. And he didn't handle it well. But I also like I hate when people like, what is this, a seven-year marriage? And you're taking like videos out of context. They are bad videos, but you can make anyone look bad. I agree. But they are bad. They're bad videos. And I feel like sad watching them. For her. And I feel sad for her that like that's what she experienced when she's trying to put herself out there on the internet, which is hard enough. And then you like have someone like clowning on you. Oh, and by the way, she ended up doing it. Right. But I also feel sad that I'm watching it. Yeah. Because it's like that's two days ago, that was your best friend. Jackie, that child in your stomach is half his. Like, I know he's bad. He's the father of your children. You are family whether you like it or not. And like you don't do that to your family. Yeah. I do think Jen is definitely like a victim in all of this. I do think he was probably like a really, really awful husband. But I do have to look back. I have to look at all of this also just through the lens of like she has this like relentless pursuit of success and fame. And unfortunately, things like this, like curry favor with the public. And, you know, they're obsessed at Secret Lives of Mormon Wives with what like the audience thinks and the comments. And so I just I don't feel like it's coming from a good place. But she's free to, you know, share her truth. She is. I know I'm very torn. I'm I'm I'm I know how I feel, but I'm torn on what to say. Oh, OK. Because I feel like the day after she posted is not the day to start being like hard on her. Yeah. You know what I mean? But I have additional thoughts. I mean, feel free to share them. This is where we share like our most. I feel like it's it's too soon, actually. You know how we always say like there are things where it's like the first person to say it gets so much. Jussie Smollett. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't want to be the first. Right. And you kind of already are. You can put me down as the coward. Yeah. I'm not going down for this. No, I hear you. You know, I play. Yeah, I'm not going down for this. Yeah. Um, I'll say this. I think everyone's wrong. Yeah. And I think the person that he was in the early days of their marriage before the spotlight shown a light on them and sort of like and when when you bring light into something, it does clear out, you know, a lot of people say that darkness. Now, of course, reality TV is so bad for marriages, but a lot of people say like even friendships are just different relationships, like seeing themselves like that was so amazing for their and that could have been the case. They didn't work out the afflux, but a lot of people say that like seeing yourself just like completely third party, like kind of like floating out of your body, it's very disorienting and it can be very challenging for relationship, but a lot of times it can be very beneficial for it. And like you say, and you see like, that's not who I want to be. Like, that's who I am. And it's hard to see something when you're in it, but like you can course correct. And so I did believe that that's what happened to Zach Affleck. I agree. And I'm not seeing anything that shows that he didn't change. And so I'm curious if he really did not change. And that's like what I think she should be proving because we all agree. Like he was seriously the nastiest motherfucker that first season. Everyone was telling her to get a divorce, like everyone. And who even knows what happened before they were on camera in their marriage and their gender dynamics were like, so traditional and toxic. And like, he had like, you know, was thinking about things. He's going to be a doctor and comes from this family and just like, just thought he was like better than her and look down on what she was doing. And like the worst guy, seriously, the worst guy. But I, I did think that he had changed. I haven't seen. Anything that says that he hasn't. So I still don't understand why today they're getting a divorce. You said you were going to put on your sash and your crown. What happened to that? We just got distracted with like birthday festivities. Yeah, definitely. I got a headband. You guys know I love a headband. Yeah, we do. Thank you so much. It's literally made for a small girl. So cute. And then the sash is behind you. You don't have to put the glasses on. They're obviously like, like decorative. I mean, I can wear them if you want. Yeah, just celebrate. No, no, put the sash on though. It's so cute. Celebrate good. I will say net net. This is excellent for Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Although I have heard. Now, when I say I hear, you guys, I'm just in the TikTok comment section. Yeah, sure. That he has not filmed like a lick. So it will be like 100% from her perspective, which I would like to hear. But I do need to hear both sides. To me, this is not so cut and dry. Like he's bad. She's bad. He's good. He's good. You know, I'll say this based on like what we've seen in the disputes amongst the women historically on the show. Like she's not really the most reliable storyteller. Yeah, you look so cute. Let me take a picture of you. You're going to love it. Oh, my God. You seriously look like a little girl. Like, you know, I do. And I'm like wearing. You guys can't see my wearing like these little shorts. Yeah. Historically, she has not been a reliable last season. And in the early seasons, I like liked her. I thought she was like really neutral party when she was going through her mental health struggles. I was seriously like everybody fuck off and leave. Yeah. Like that's my girl. Yeah. But the last few seasons, I'm like, what are you saying? Yeah, she does. Like, I don't want to say lie, but I think she just experiences reality and processes it differently. Then others. Yeah. So she's really not someone who you can like just blindly trust. You can't blindly trust anybody's version of events, especially in a divorce. So I would like to hear his side. But I think like. So she's living in O.C. And did you want to show just get some clarity on like where they are? Or this was filmed during a period where she was. Yeah, that after dancing with the star that. And so maybe we'll see sort of the beginning because after dancing with the stars is when they've decided, according to Zach's timeline, to continue to work on the marriage. Yeah. So he should. He should be in it. And get pregnant. Like, we can't forget that she is pregnant. We can't forget about the pregnancy. Which is like typically a good reason to stay a little longer. Barring, of course. Barring. And also if he has had an affair and had a child or is expecting one, like, good day, sir. I'm. Yeah. I just sort of like need to know something to like there's a piece to this puzzle missing. Mm hmm. And I can't really lay down my hammer. And while these puzzle pieces that she just shared. Are helpful. Are huge pieces in the corners of the board. It's not. The whole piece. The whole piece. And we knew most of this. Yeah. We did. But, you know, it gets you feeling some type of way to see it again. Oh, my God. It's very triggering. That's how it felt watching Chippendales. Like, what on earth? And how are these. Like, of course, the first video is so awful because, like, first of all, you commenting on your postpartum wife's body like you should be in jail. Literally lock you away. Throw away the cape. Agreed. Two, like clowning on someone for trying something new and ultimately something that will benefit your whole family. That is major, like, loser ass behavior. Beta. And the fact that she ended up becoming uber successful to the point where, like, she kind of retired him out of medical school is just funny. But, like, a lot of people don't. A lot of people just do social media because they make it like it or they make a little bit of, like, side money. It's. Regardless of how it pans out, your social media career, like your husband responding that way is legitimately evil. Now, we knew he was a legitimately evil person. We know he was a legitimately evil person. Yes. I would love to find a date for the second video, even though. I don't find the second video to be as damning. No, it's like. It can be. A good marriage has moments like that. Like. Yeah. You used the last towel and you threw it on the floor. Now we don't have towels. And it's like, I'm about to shower. And, like, could you. Literally, could you care less about my shower? Like, I get it. Relatable. Yeah. No, I have had that conversation with Ben for. I was just telling you guys that, like, Ben does not know how to hang up a towel. He doesn't leave it on the floor. He, like, leaves it, like, on a ball on the rack. Yeah. Which is just as bad. No. It's like, there's just one towel left. Like, you literally don't care about my hygiene. When Zach and I are out of the home, like, if we're at a hotel or something, he puts, like, the dirty towels on the floor. But, like, then they have no chance of being, like, repurposed. And it's like, even if we want them to be swapped out, like, at least hang it. I could wipe my hands dry. Oh, I'm actually kind of with Zach on that. No, no. The volume. When I go to a hospital. A hospital. God forbid. Oh, my God. Not good. When I go to a hotel and a towel has been used, like. Literally, like, one time. Yeah. It's in the dirty pile. I saw the funniest one. I saw Sebastian Maniscalco. I'm going to butcher the joke. When I saw Sebastian Maniscalco live, the guy who opened for him did a whole bit about how, like, we act insane in hotels. Like, you know, at home, if you, like, are walking in a pair of socks and you step in, like, a piece of shit, like, you literally don't care. But, like, when you're at a hotel, if there's, like, one thing on your towel, you're calling housekeeping. Like, you're. I act. So, I actually am with Zach on that. It's. But it's copious. I don't. I think you would be shocked to see the amount of towels. Well, he's, like, a man. And, obviously, men are crazy. But the philosophy, I agree with. And, also, I'm just saying, like, towel politics are a thing. Yeah. So, you know, you could see that video of any married couple, and it would be shocking. But it's not necessarily, like, a diagnosis for divorce. Like. There you go. But I would like to know when it is. I think that if you had a window, and we happen to have it because she films her life 24-7. I think if you had a window into a lot of people's, like, random moments. In the bathroom, you're sharing a sink. Out of context and without any of the good moments. Like, I think people. There would be a lot of this. I agree. And Zach is a content creator, but not in the same way. So, I doubt he has an arsenal of, like. Fluttering footage of her. Yeah. Like, men just don't. And, like, if he did, he'd be like, oh, that video sucks. Let me delete it. No, and then, also, it's like. So, these videos are very old. She knows that those moments exist. She didn't just find them yesterday just to show that he hasn't. Like, they're hanging on to them. Yeah, I do have to keep in mind her relentless pursuit of fame. I mean, we all, of course, want to be famous. But, like, hers is just very ambitious, parentheses, negative. Not, like. I think Whitney Leavitt is, like, very ambitious. In a positive way. Yeah. Not to pit woman against woman, but. You love pitting them against each other. Jen and Whitney or women in general? Oh, I meant Jen and Whitney, but. But women in general as well. Sure, yeah. Additionally. I don't think there's an issue with that. It's not pitting. It's just comparison. And you know what? I feel like I've sort of even like self-imposed, but I allow people to say like, oh, that turdy. She's like a woman hater. Like I sort of wear that with that badge with pride. And what I've learned actually is that that's not the case. We don't hate women enough. No, no. Everybody hates women. And it's the women who claim to like love women. Like, I'm sorry. I know nobody wants to hear. We're like, like, I've never seen women hate anyone more than they hate like Lively. I've never seen more hate for a woman by other women. Emily Kaiser. Like, I don't hate any of these women actually would defend them to the death. And then like, and then, but these are the same. You hate women because you hate those women. What they do to women. I, yeah. Yeah. So then you wind up having to hate women, unfortunately. Yeah. But like at my core, like I'm always defending the woman. Carrie Ann Inaba. No one is meaner to her than the women. So yeah, I've sort of flipped that narrative on its head. Back to the situation at hand. Oh, right. The divorce. So are you team woman? TBD. I'm waiting for like the first Jesse Smollett soldier to fall. Yeah. I guess what I'll say, which is what they've said on the show a number of times, is that like Jen very like relentlessly pursuits like victimhood. Yeah. It's hard to be completely. If I'm being honest. It's hard to be completely unbiased here, just given what I know about her and especially this last season, which is the most recent version of her and the version that I saw was like, yeah, obsessed with being a victim, kind of retelling history in a way that was completely not factual. I think that she has like a really bad processing of things. So yeah, I just don't feel like she's like a reliable person to back. But I see this video and I'm a human being and I'm a woman. Of course. And I don't want to be on that side. And I'm a content creator. Can you show me what he posted? He posted yesterday that caused her to post these videos. So I don't know if she was like mad about the videos and that's why she posted. No, but she said, but no, but it was snarky because she was like always been my biggest supporter. He opened the floodgates with like discussing with the public, but, and maybe that's why she felt like she could post the videos because he started it and she finished it. But let me see what he started. Yes. Like it's long. All right, guys. I'll get the gist. I wanted to come on here. I'm going to put it on 2X. And just kind of address everything that's happening. I don't have a PR team. I don't have even a manager right now. So I feel like this is the right thing to do. So I'm just going to speak from the heart. And anyways, so yes, it is true that Jen filed for divorce yesterday and it is true that I found out from ATMZ reporter about the filing. But regardless of that, this is something we've been talking about for a long time. Jen came to me about a year ago after Dancing with the Stars and told me she was unhappy and wanted a divorce. And I basically begged her to stay, begged her that, you know, tell her to work on things, fix things, become however she needed me to be. And ultimately just, just we couldn't make it work. And it sucks because I really do love Jen and I still love Jen. And yeah, when I first met Jen, she had this light about her unlike anyone I've ever ever met. And I dimmed it. She really does have such a good heart and I will continue to support her and be her biggest fan. And I really do believe in her. I think anything with acting scene, wherever she goes, I really do believe she's going to be successful. And yeah, I guess we're just trying to figure out at this point what's next, what, how we handle this with the kids. And that's really my priorities. I feel like probably the thing that's eating me alive the most is I feel like I've. I just want to say if he had like a pregnant mistress, he would not make this video. Like I'm sort of not believing, but crazy people do crazy things. Like what do I know? Yeah, I know. So she's challenging like the support. Because I think like she's mad that this video like makes him sound like a good guy. Like I love Jen. And I wish her the best. And it's like, you didn't always wish me the best. Right. I just feel like I failed my kids and I'm worried that I'm going to cause them damage. And I just hope that we can still give them a normal childhood. But as far as that goes, Jen and I are definitely on the same page of wanting to give them the best life we can, the best childhood we can and be teammates and work together to do that. So anyways, I really do hope and pray for the best for her. And I don't want anyone speaking bad about Jen. I don't. I'll just be the first to say I've made plenty of mistakes in our marriage and it just really time for us to go our own ways. We got married so young and it sucks because I really didn't feel like we had something pretty special when we got married. But she, yeah, life happened. We had four kids. We signed up for reality TV on a show that's really hurt a lot of people's lives. And. That's true. Yeah, there's a lot of. It's just hard. Marriage is hard. Having your marriage in the public is hard. Raising kids is hard. And I think we just slowly over time, we lost that spark and life happened. So I'm just going on here to shut down any narratives. I've seen all sorts of things and there's no teams. Zach and Jen, the only team is just trying to give these kids the best life we can. And. Go ahead. Yeah. And the other, just supporting each other. And I think we're going to continue to do so and try to show what a healthy co-parenting relationship can look like. At least that's my goal. I know Jen has said the same. So, yeah, guys, please just remember we're human. We're. Honestly, this video not only makes him look good, but it also makes her look good. Because if everything he's saying is true, it's like, we're devastated that this is happening to our family. But like, we're committed outside of the reality TV and the fans and the followers to just making sure our kids aren't damaged from this and having a normal life. And she honestly should have just let that be the narrative because it makes her also look good and mature. And it's like, we want to protect our kids. This is a hard thing for them to go through. Respectful, please respect our privacy. But then when you post something like she posted, it's no longer respectful and you have no privacy. You can't even be in your own bathroom. Yeah, I'm just reading the comments. I think people are really going to disagree with our take. I think so too. Because even when we said he had a good season last season, they were like, what? No, they didn't. And I think a lot of people feel vindicated now, like having seen those videos. But I do think that they're at the time that we thought they were. I think they're old. And they don't prove anything. That happened today that would like cause a divorce now with more, like you've had more kids since those videos. You've committed to each other further. Also, like I watch that video and then maybe I'm just naive, but like he sounds like upset and he sounds nice. Like, and he's not a professional actor. So like, are people just like legitimately evil and duplicitous like that? Well, that's the thing. That's like, here's the, I'm taking everything at face value. So if what he's saying is true and like he's being like who he is, then that video, I don't think warrants what she posted in response to like drag his. Like really tarnish his name. If underneath the surface, he's a Dakota Mortensen. That's what I'm, oh, Jordan. Then go harder, Jen. Agreed. But that has yet to be even. Proven true. Proved or even argued at any point. Cause she's not saying everything he says is a lie. She's once again saying. She's saying he's not supportive. She's once again saying, look at who he was. It's true. So I'm, I'm open. Cause, and that's like the big, I keep saying like, there's a big crazy thing that happened. Like I completely understand, but if it's just like more of the same of this marital spot that we've watched him do for the last couple of years, um, and it's essentially a giving up, then I don't know why you can't just part amicably and let that video be the narrative and protect your children. Even if your feelings are hurt and he was mean to you and well, to a degree, but like this is what we always say, like Kelly Clarkson, you know, people who Kim for many years, like really refuse to speak negatively about the father of their children. It's very difficult and it's very admirable. And as a consumer, of course I find it annoying. I'm sure. It's so frustrating, like beyond frustrating. And I feel like for Kim, like these are, and Kelly Clarkson, like husbands who really did bad things, either like financially, of course, Kanye, like, and still like the protecting of your children being paramount. It is a really respectable thing. I don't know if I could do it. Like if somebody slated me that badly, like I don't know. I'm sure Kim has the craziest videos of Kanye. Right. So barring like any sort of extreme circumstances, which have yet to be proven. Like, I don't know, I don't know if I could do this, but like, I don't know if I could do this, but like I don't know if I could do this, but like I don't know if I could do this, but like I don't know if I could do this, but like I don't know if I could do this, but like I don't know if I could do this, but like I don't know if I could do this. Yeah, okay. Let's see how that goes. Yeah, looking forward to people's reception. But it is what it is. Next story. New Met Gala theme has been announced after John Galliano backed out of original panel and due to backlash and like that doesn't really exist. Wait, this is the same Met Gala? That was supposed to be Galliano themed. Wow, it's been a long year. It has been a long year. I just hate this story like in every single way. I know. Because of course people blame the Jews. I'm like, we really don't. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I literally didn't even care. Please, like genuinely, excuses from this narrative, one in which we never actually heard of. Chose John Galliano. Like seriously, just stick with it. Stick with it. And now the theme is Extraordinary Fashion and the Poetics of the Everyday, which will be curated by curator in charge Andrew Bolton alongside Stephanie Kramer and Emily Mushabin after Fashion's Biggest Night on May 3rd. It will open to the public on May 9th. So that's the new exhibit. It will be devoted to the undersung beauty and allure of quotidian. And it's going to be a big event. think the aforementioned t-shirt and jeans plus raincoats sweatshirts puffer jackets and more no i want to say i hate this like i usually misinterpret the theme but i think i get this one it's quite simple it's made for me um and i want to say i hate it in every way the mech outlet is like sort of the last remaining black tie event we talked about this on the patreon yesterday um we actually did an amazing picture on like am i the asshole but it was am i the weenie and people would write it being like oh i'm doing this with my friend like am i the weenie and like sometimes you are um and someone was talking about their wedding and like they're sort of feeling like people aren't taking the dress code seriously and we were talking about how like yes this day and age like black tie is dead people don't understand what it means people wear jumpsuits to a black and khakis like no as the guy who wrote and said like this is not your quarterly sales meeting this is my wedding people don't take black tie seriously enough and so the So, Met Gala was sort of like the last remaining formal event. Yeah. And now the theme is sweatshirts? Seriously, Anna Wintour, step down. Like, you are no longer fit for this role. I think you're having mental issues. Like, this is insane. No, and, like, to go from John Gagliano to sweatshirts is so bad for the Jews. It will ask visitors to, quote, see the everyday anew. I just know someone's going to wear, like, a Balenciaga gown made out of a sweatshirt. It has, like, a hood at the top. First, exploring how designers have reinvented and elevated archetypal garments to runway-worthy creations. And then secondly, highlight how humble, even disposable materials like paper, aluminum, and plastic. Oh, it's giving the unconventional materials challenge of Project Runway. are transformed into wearable objects. when they have to dig through a dumpster like use a box of old straws to make a corset they will literally be wearing garbage wow this is really crazy like the mecca has fallen question mark i would love to know what people in the industry are saying i don't follow like fashion podcasts or whatever um but i would love to know like what they think about it every year like people have like things to say but overall like the themes are always like high fashion and like about art and sweatshirt is not art yeah it'll be interesting to see like how people dress i feel like you think the bezos are financially involved again i'm just curious uh probably to a degree to the degree that they were who knows but like they're definitely museum donors and i've like i've really been waiting for taylor and travis to attend a mac alla but sweetie you can skip this one you don't have to wear a garbage bag no it's literally tim gunn better be like i hope that's just like the designers just really loosely interpret it like maybe a lot of years they like don't follow yeah like puffer you puffer like fabric material into like a gorgeous dress and i hope they lean in honestly like have tim gunn and heidi kluin be the red carpet correspondents because this is an unconventional materials challenge get christian siriano in there like i guess that's what we're doing now we're wearing garbage yeah okay now i just i enjoy watching like beautiful people wear expensive like things that i can't even understand um unfortunately i will be able to understand this and that's the problem yeah everyone feel free to ignore the theme just look beautiful okay and i just feel like this is going to stop certain people from coming like beyonce's not going to this you know you think yeah like people who like are just like desperate will go honestly i feel like it's like it's not because to me it's gonna be a bad sign to go don't go do not come do not come like kylie's not going i don't know i think she is she'll wear something like cool and they always do it nice but like i just hate this yeah like what happened to when did everyone feel like that woman who falls out of the window in texan city when did everybody stop having fun you're like so annoying yeah no let's all sit around in our pajamas like that's my job okay not yours extraordinary and it's like a play on words because it's just it's like extra ordinary not more not extraordinary ordinary right we're gonna have more ordinary for you guys right e is very very extraordinary love is all that we need to know we should watch a parent shot it's been a while well that song was playing this was it yeah when i walked in it was goodbye i love that song it's so good classic are you ready for our third story lady gaga shakira jack white and boy george lead the 2027 songwriters hall of fame nominees okay yes many impressive artists are up for the 2027 songwriters hall of fame class we have lady gaga shapira pink boy george jack white sia been skilled neo see us not even in there already like blondies debbie harry and chris stein also are on the ballot are a bunch of other people that you wouldn't know by name but are musicians and do um like just just as one person win like how does this work no i think a lot of people get inducted every year um lady gaga is an extremely talented songwriter also notably candy burris is nominated give it to her i love that will.i.am is nominated yeah these are people who um i think a lot of people don't even realize write so much music for other people will.i.am writes so many popular songs for country fans like someone named tim tom douglas is nominated he wrote the house that built me oh i love that song and tin mcgraw's grown men don't cry yeah the person who wrote the house that built me deserves to be in the songwriters hall of fame the person that wrote the house that built me deserves to be in heaven like immediate pass through heaven i don't care what he's done down here on earth that is one of the most upsetting said that about the person who wrote i believe i can fly okay like thanks for that um it's a gorgeous song but i don't feel that way i like obviously i like i believe i can fly but i don't think it's the most beautiful song ever written i know a lot of people do yeah a lot of people do i would argue like actually um the world's greatest by r kelly is a better song but no i think none of his songs give him an entry into heaven no i don't you don't think they're good enough i think they're good but they're kind of corny not as good as the house that built me the house that built me is the house that built me is so beautiful like good luck listening to that song without crying especially if you've ever had to like sell your childhood house like and it's some people write about like everybody writes about the same thing right love and heartbreak love right but to write a song about a house that built like it's such a unique idea for a song and it is yeah sorry straight to heaven mm-hmm r kelly locked out of heaven by bruno mars the person who wrote that song should go to heaven i love that song i'm trying to think of like the world we gotta see bruno mars it's he's so good i'm trying to think of other songs that get you on the straight to heaven list i would say the climb i wouldn't okay unfortunately and i don't know if wrote this song because i hate him but in case you don't live forever um by ben platt i know i hate to send him straight to heaven but i think maybe he didn't write it let's just fingers crossed on that i'm trying to think like other songs that like honestly that song how does it the painter you know what i know exactly where to look for my birthing playlist i put like all those like songs that make you want to die on my birthday playlist okay oh piece by taylor swift well taylor okay so taylor yeah what if it's a jack right on that i'll tell you i think it's aaron desner it's an aaron so i guess aaron desner is going straight to heaven um oh i guess yeah like leonard cohen's hallelujah would go straight to leonard cohen can go sure yeah um you are loved by josh groban josh groban straight to heaven question mark i think there are a couple of songs that would get him in there yeah i think so too um well this is a cover but don't let the sun go down on me by elton john elton john straight to heaven i happen to love miley version but you wouldn't say the climb no you can say the climb we're now playing fast and loose a little bit oh i'm not i'm being like very selective the house that built me is on that on this playlist um there's not a lot on here um i think i would also send the person who wrote faithfully by journey to that list i'm forever yo there are certain songs like if they come out on the radio like i just get chills down my spine like i have to start crying to me that's a straight to heaven song but obviously it's very personal you guys might have your own straight to heaven feel free to make a straight to heaven playlist like yes but yes yeah well good luck to the nominees um yeah i'm happy for lady gaga i feel like she gets recognized in a lot of different areas but not always so much as a songwriter yeah as a performer as a vocalist as like a you know she's created this like beautiful imagery but not as a songwriter but she is like sort of that bitch yeah she is you and i will be announced in early 2027 so what's the space written lady gaga song in terms of songwriting like storytelling overall like what's best lady gaga song i guess yeah it would definitely be from like that glory album i don't want to be so corny but born this way yeah i might say you and i you and i is amazing and you know what else is amazing gypsy shizer shiver yeah probably shiver exclaiming us to be clear it's not the monster xfc oscar be going no the ooster monster probably shiver yeah and actually like the chorus is shy but the rest of the song is in english um it's actually like an amazing song how does the chorus go ever you'd like ever you like oh i wish that i could dance on a single prayer i wish i could be strong without somebody yeah so good also edge of glory you know my trauma with that that's an insane song but you know my trauma color boy oh graduation oh did you sing it yeah we had like a performance at my college high school graduation saying it i wish we had a performance at my college graduation excuse me high school graduation and we sang edge of glory and like obviously i got a solo um and i was like so excited and i had tried out for a different solo actually i didn't want this one because there was a note in there i genuinely couldn't hit um but they gave it to me anyway and i was like practicing at home so much actually posted this on my um instagram i had this like facebook video of me practicing it was so embarrassing and i sing so good until the end and i was practicing at home like sometimes i hit it and sometimes i didn't and of course the day of i did not hit it my voice truly cracked i have a video of it somewhere i will it will never see the light of day but i'm sure i could hit it now because i'm obviously like much more trained it goes like this this was my part and there was like a chorus behind me and they were doing like like very glee okay it's hard to feel the rush to brush the dangerous i'm gonna run right to you to the edge with you where we can both fall far in love i'm on the edge you have to say okay and then it keeps going this is where i couldn't hit it ready oh i thought no no no it gets worse i'm on the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge the edge okay like that wasn't even good but i hit it yeah guys the day of i was like and i could see like my friend's parents in the front oh my god it was horrifying so unfortunately that song is not straight to heaven it's actually straight to hell there's actually a lot of good graduation songs that are straight to heaven like my wish Yeah, that's more of like a camp song. Rascal Flatts can go straight to heaven. Doors right here. Yeah. What do you think is the best Rascal Flatts song? Oh. I know what mine is. Oh, Lordy. Maybe Yours If You Want It or Fast Cars and Freedom. What is the name of mine? I can't even remember it. Did you make him laugh or make him cry? Or did you hide? That's your favorite. Yes. I don't know it. What the hell is that song? Just in case anyone's looking for a good song. Rascal Flatts, did you make them laugh? Did you make them cry? I haven't listened to it in a while. How They Remember You. That's beautiful. It's a really good one. It's obviously all about our time here on earth. Straight to heaven. Yeah. Also, Nothing Like This is a beautiful song. Everything Rascal Flatts. They really. They know how to take apart strings. Literally, don't get me started because you have to like. Because we have like a show to do. Continue with the stories. Yeah. Are you ready for our fourth story? Yeah. Julia Stiles and Ezra. So sweet. So reveal matching tattoos. You're kidding. After Dancing with the Stars elimination. I thought that was kind of crazy too. Yeah, because like my theory that like he didn't like her, I guess is wrong. I felt like she was like every time in the clips, like kind of snarky with him. Oh, I guess they. Yeah, but that's like, you know, like a married couple, like a little bit of bickering, you know, intention. But they got eight stars inked on their wrist. One star for every time we got to dance together. Oh, that's cute. I just feel like it sets a high bar. You know, hopefully Ezra's going to be on the show for a long time to see if he got a tattoo with every person. Then if he doesn't. Or like looking in. Oh, he hates it. Not every partner like wants to get a lot of tattoos. Yeah, I guess some people like might not even have any tattoos. Yeah. So then that partner wouldn't want to get tattoos with him. If you had to get a tattoo. Uh-huh. Where and what? I don't know. They just like wouldn't look good on me. You know? They would look so bad on you. That's so true. Yeah. It doesn't go with like the sort of like fair skin, like Madeline schoolgirl. Not at all. Like. Sometimes if I have like something on my, like a. Stamp. If you go to like a kid's club. Yeah, a stamp. Or like if you ever wear a bandaid and it leaves like a. Track marks. Yeah, from like after I give birth or something and it just looks like a tattoo on my arms. It looks so out of place. Yeah, no, the fair skin. So like wherever I could hide it best. Yeah. I would want it hidden too. So, because I don't want a tattoo. Correct. That's why I would do it like that. Correct. Why? You want to get one? No, I don't. Mm-hmm. I'm glad that I. The things I'm limited by. And my religion and like most of them don't bother me. Like, of course, like hanging Christmas lights and a Christmas tree. Yeah, that's another like tough thought. That's sort of like my only real issue with my religion. But I'm glad that I don't crave a tattoo and I don't struggle with it. Right, because we can't go. Mm-hmm. Are you ready for our fifth and final story? Most people assume that if they're taking supplements every day, they're getting the benefits. But the reality is the vast majority of supplements have incredibly low absorption rates. So that means most of what people are spending their money on never actually gets used by your body. The Absorption Company is focused on fixing that exact problem. They offer pharmaceutical grade absorption technology designed to help nutrients actually work. Because no matter how powerful a supplement is on paper, it only matters if your body can absorb it. So The Absorption Company is singularly focused on this problem, which is low absorption. Actually, most supplements absorb less than 16%. So that means all the money, time, energy, swallowing pills you're doing like could be for not. Well, The Absorption Company uses cutting edge technologies. They make supplements up to 149 times better than standard supplements. And actually, absorption is the one thing that affects all supplements. So whether that's a vitamin D, a magnesium, a CoQ10, or any other supplement, it only works if it absorbs. And they make all different types of supplements. So if you guys are, you know, in your CoQ10 era or, you know, I love magnesium. They also have a WLP1, which is a daily weight management solution, which helps with ingredients that are clinically proven to increase a natural GLP-1 by over 300%. Thank you, Minted, for sponsoring today's episode. Thank you, Tinted. You're welcome, Tinted. Our fifth and final story is breaking news. Oh, my God. I love when breaking news happens. It's a big, like. It's big. You're kidding. Who's it about? Thomas Markle has been arrested on U.S. soil. Meghan Markle's. How dumb is he? Why would he come to the U.S.? He's been living here. Oh, oh. That's where he's been the whole time, and the claim was made in the Philippines. Is there a picture? Yes. Turn around, turn around, turn around, turn around, turn around, turn around, turn around. There he is. Oh, giving Tom Girardi in the. Has he had his leg amputated? You're kidding. Yeah. Wait, turn around again. I need more. Zoom in. He's in a wheelchair, you guys. He's in a wheelchair. The FBI is wheeling him out. He has one foot and one leg? Yeah. Looks like he has a knee. Yeah. I guess the bottom half was amputated. He was living in a senior living home specializing in dementia care, and that's where he was arrested, at the Maravidia Senior Living Care in Florida. What? After droves of indecent material. Materials were discovered at locations connected to him in the Philippines and in Mexico in recent weeks. He was arrested for possession of child sexual abuse material. The arrest on U.S. soil comes just days after the Daily Mail alerted the feds to a cache of child porn found inside a storage unit he had rented near his former home in Rosarito, Mexico. So I guess somehow the Daily Mail got access to his old storage unit? Well, you know, if you don't pay your storage unit bills, they go up for auction, and I'm sure somebody at the Daily Mail figured out, like, that's their wet dream, Thomas Marshall. Sparkle's abandoned storage unit. So then they report it. And like they have a photo of the storage unit that looks like a dump. First of all, slay it to the Daily Mail. When you zoom in, there's open boxes. The book on the top of the box is The Invisible Children. Next to it is a magazine called Hollywood's Lolitas. Then in another box. Well, do you think that they just like rearrange some things in the storage unit just for the photo? It's how you would stage a child pornographer's storage unit. In another box is a photo of a young Brooke Shields. Classic. Yuck. You know, just her headshot. But like obviously liking young girls. If you saw her documentary, you know she was sort of like the face. So yeah, well, I would say they rummaged through it and then they took a photo that would be compelling. But that's also like tampering with evidence. So maybe this is the photo right when they opened the door. I'm in shock. First of all, I didn't know he was living here. And it just felt like too good to be true that like he would actually get arrested. And of course, like he's like an amputee. With dementia. I don't give a fuck. Lock him up and throw away the game. I love this more than anything. This picture will like be framed in my house. He looks terrible. Thomas Marco Jr. had discovered the trove in the Philippines. I don't know. I saw something like weird about him. Oh, please don't tell me. You know what? Yeah, but I wouldn't just be like TMJ. TMJ! And he claims to have told the FBI about the location of two storage units at a site in L.A. So that's not even been seen yet. This is so funny. This is so like old school, like physical pornography. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. The keeping of it. Like seriously, how crazy do you have to be? Or you just like really get away with it for so long that you don't really have to hide? Yeah. Crazy. Really crazy. So now we all have ourselves a trial with evidence and such. And we were wondering if the U.S. would get involved because he was here. But I thought he was in the Philippines. So no, no, no. They found it in the Philippines, but he was here. They said he was in Pennsylvania, though. Turns out he's in Florida. Well, he's in like a local, like a little old living facility. So, yeah, I'm sure the people at the facility were shook. Oh, yeah. Crazy day at the facility. Yeah. I don't think they got a lot of action over there. So that's exciting. Yeah. I love this. And it's a multinational case at this point. It's like Mexican police raided his storage unit, the one that Daily Mail saw. He's been reported in the Philippines. Apparently there's two storages in L.A. Storage units in L.A. He's a global criminal. Global pedophile. Global pedophile. I can't believe this. Allegedly. It's insane. Crazy. Yeah. Really crazy. Well. I didn't know this was an option. That's wonderful breaking news, honestly. I didn't know it was an option either. It just felt like. He was sort of like out of breath. There are a lot of pedophiles walking around. And it's like if he has child sexual materials in the Philippines, but he's here, like, is there anything that can be done? They had said that there was precedent, but this is obviously different if there's materials here. The wheels of justice turn slow. Mm-hmm. That's just. But they grind mighty fine. Even though they turned pretty quick here. Yeah, they did. Good job, everyone. Everyone's all over it. Good job. Let's head into our final segment of the week, which is Queenie and Weenie of the Week. Every Friday, Jack and I like to just sort of wrap up the week, take a look back at what we've been through, and deliver two awards, Queenie of the Week and Weenie of the Week. It's pretty self-explanatory. Don't get too bogged down if you're Weenie of the Week. It's a seven-day title. And, you know, you could be Queenie one week, Weenie the next. So don't get too comfortable, sweetheart. Okay? We'll start with Queenie. Yes. My Queenie is not a person. It is a thing. A thing. It's a thing. It's a food. It's a food? It's a food. It's the sweet potato. Oh, I love this. We sweet potato maxed hard this week. It was a dream of mine to do. And it has been a lovely, wonderful experience. And I will be doing it again. The sweet potato is an extraordinary food, an extraordinary vegetable. And I urge you all to sweet potato max. That's right. I'm really chilling. You know what? My Queenie, I've just changed it, is also a food. Hang tight. Is it a frittata? Spinach and goat cheese frittata? Oh, my God. It's in a pizza box. This is legit. Did you find the best? Oh, my. It's a quiche? Okay. So we fear the facility confused quiche. But I like quiche. Yeah. We asked for a frittata and a quiche was delivered. In a literal pizza pie box. Just hold on. Hold tight. Take the box. Okay. Jackie wanted a sad girl. I'm protein maxing you guys. She's protein maxing. This is so good. We're going to feel amazing today. We? No, we also got donuts for the normal people. Oh, my God. I'm going to just get my lighter. Hang on. I need to. Where did I put that? Oh, wow. Look at this flaky crust. Buttery flaky crust. Flaky crust. Not entirely healthy, but I'll allow it. Oh, my God. Microwave? We have donuts for everyone else. Don't worry. I know you guys want donuts. My queenie of the week is this quiche and also our fearless leader, Jacqueline Follet, for whom we would be lost without. Happy birthday to you. I got the pictures. You just enjoy. Happy birthday, dear Follet. Oh, my. It's so cute. Yay. Have you seen? I've seen on reels. I love the smell of candles being blown out. I just. Smells like Carvel. Yeah. I saw this reel that was like when everybody's filming, like, you know, how everyone feels films the person on their birthday, like blowing out the candles or whatever, like standing there alone. You should actually, if you are a fan of the show, you should actually, if you are a fan or the birthday person, film the room because it's everyone you love. So then it's just like everyone filming and nobody enjoying the moment. Like the people who are filming you, like, I don't need to see myself blow out candles. We did that for my gender reveal. Yeah. You guys filmed me, but also we set up a camera to film you guys. And so now, like, whenever we celebrate, like, all together as a family, like, I want to film the room and, like, remember the moment, like, from my POV. You're supposed to be thinking of your wish. No, but, like, my POV is more interesting than your guys'. Agreed. Agreed. But you're supposed to be, like, connecting with your ancestors and thinking of your wishes. I'm connected with them. I'm connected with them because I also had practiced last night. Yes. And I had to make a wish. And so now I have, like, my wish, like, lined up and I can really be present. Now, weenie of the week. I'm very excited. I actually had two weenies. Well, I'll take one because I didn't. Okay. Did you see that the wardrobe stylist for Justin Timberlake's Super Bowl is, like, coming out being like, we plant it. Like, and him doing this whole documentary pretending that he's not is a joke. So it was giving, like, Justin Timberlake. But who's the weenie? Justin Timberlake. You're just going to take someone's word on this huge thing? Yes, I am. Yeah. I want to hear from, I know we've heard from her, but I wasn't paying attention. I want to hear from Janet. Yes. Oh, but that's not who I chose. I chose, I don't know the name of this person, but the person who ever books for Watch It Happens Live. Like, the opportunity that was missed in giving Sophia Franklin, like, genuinely the most insulting role of bartender. I was upset. Yeah. And by the way, Jackie said that while I was doing the ads, she read the foreword. The prologue, which is two pages. But I read it live. I'm not going to read it out loud. But just, like, I want to read it to myself. I react live. Yeah. It's two pages. Oh, she dedicated it to her mom and her brother. That's sweet. That is sweet. Okay. But if anyone's curious, the book breaks down as a prologue. I think you're sharing too much. Oh, okay. They gave it to us. They literally didn't want anyone to share anything. Okay, okay. So I'll just read the prologue to myself. Yeah, it's two pages. And I'll take a knife for my quiche. Dream birthday. Oh. Oh, wow. He's a very beautiful reader. Yeah. Hope you enjoy the silence. Oh, wow. A real knife. Thank you. For the quiche. Oh, wow. Anybody want quiche? No. Yeah, everybody's like, no, we're good. I'll take one. Oh, wow. That's really good. I wonder how that, oh, you know what? Exciting, right? I'll wait. Yeah. I'll wait. Well, how do you feel about that? Happy birthday to you, to us. Thank you. And I hope everybody enjoyed the show. And I can't wait for the donuts. I'm going to have to find out why you guys got this. Good quiche? Yeah, I've never seen something like this. Well, that's what you can expect.
