"87" - Is Sunscreen Making Us Less Healthy? | Dr. Jack Kruse
23m 17s
In this episode of "No BS with Brad Smith," host Brad Smith discusses with Dr. Jack Cruz the phenomenon of accelerated biological aging among people born in the 1990s compared to those born in the 1960s, referencing a recent study. Dr. Jack traces this to humanity's increasingly artificial lifestyle, highlighting factors like diet, sunscreen, electromagnetic pollution, and the Earth's shifting magnetic North Pole. He contends that sunscreen blocks the skin's magnetic properties, which are vital for health, and links it to brain shrinkage and increased cancer risks, citing a UK Biobank study showing higher cancer rates with sunscreen use. Dr. Jack argues that mainstream medicine is influenced by pharmaceutical interests, prioritizing drugs over biophysics, and points to Russia's physics-based approach as a better model. He suggests alternative practices, such as using copper water bottles to reorder electrons in water and offset electromagnetic fields, and encourages listeners to verify these claims independently. Brad Smith shares his personal success with some of these methods, noting reduced chronic pain after adopting practices like using a copper water bottle. The conversation challenges listeners to question conventional medical advice and consider biophysical optimization for better health.
[MUSIC] You ready to rock? >> So my killer music, ladies and gentlemen. [MUSIC] This is no BS with Brad Smith, the podcast baby. He's the man, he'll change everything. Or maybe he's here to change. >> Absolutely **** nothing. Time to cut the beat. Let's go. >> Well, it is a, I don't know where you are listening to this right now, but I hope it's a good day because right now it's a little bit of a heat wave in Toronto, but I don't, I don't actually mind the seasonal changes. I don't get upset when it goes from extreme cold to extreme hot. I love it. When I lived in the United States, I kind of missed it. I lived in LA for like four or five years and it literally would be fall for eight months of the season where or fall weather for what I'm used to, right? It's probably I'd say for Canadians, 12 to 14 degrees for eight months out of the year and then you know gets blasted hot in the summer. So every time it gets really hot here in Canada, I'm just like, okay, I'm okay with this. I'm okay, we can do this. We can do it. And every time I get cold, I'm like, okay, the snow's coming and you just get excited, but it's hot, you're sweating, you're out there. So you got to make sure to, you know, kind of get your water and get your electrolytes because that stuff zaps you're really crazy. And it creates a conversation around like how you prepare for the sun because the sun is one of those things that's being talked about now as if we've never talked about it before. Why? Because the sun is being called a nutrient, that nutrient being vitamin D, vitamin D, which is a nutrient that our body needs so much of. And there is this interesting article that was going around that I sent to a guest who's been on the show a couple times. Dr. Jack Cruz. Now I sent Dr. Jack this article because it was saying that people born in the 1990s, so just kind of the generation after me, but people born in the 1990s right now are biologically older and aging faster than those born in the 1960s. So that 42 year old version of me right now, compare that to a 42 year old version 30 years ago. Gosh, different. It might look aesthetically different because of all the stuff that's happened with TV and social media and how we dress up and present ourselves, but the inside clock, the biological clock for everybody. It's ticking a lot faster now these days. So we're going to dive into a great conversation with Dr. Jack himself or as he asked me to call him Uncle Jack live from El Salvador in his compound where he does a very unique retreat with a lot of high level athletes. And he's going to break down why we're biologically aging faster now than ever before. Here he is. Dr. Jack, thank you so much for joining me, man. It's going on, young man. I'm good, sir. You say young man, but I started, you know, not paying attention to my body more, but listen, I took so much of beating in my football career, even though I wasn't that great. And I never took care of my injuries. And now as I get older, I go, okay, well, you've only got one body, one life with this thing. And so why not try to walk around and not pain every day? But as I see, you know, all this medical information coming out, we don't know what's real, what's not real. But one stat that hit me kind of crazy was that, you know, the version of the man that I am today at 40 in 2026 is aging a lot faster than someone 10, 20, 30 years ago. Why is it, why is that happening? Why are stats saying that's happening? Well, there's a lot of reasons towards it, but if we distill that idea down Brad, kind of like we've talked about in the past, we live an artificial life. Let's just face it. Look at you and I right now, the main difference. I know it's radio, but I'm sitting outside here. Well, but remember when you and I both crawled out of the vagina, we were the same. We had skin. We didn't have a hat on. We didn't have earphones who weren't listening to the radio and every wild animal that you know about in Africa is born the same way, but humans are not like that. We don't cruise around the way we were born and society and civilization has changed that many of the beliefs that we have have adapted that. So when you think about like the foods, the sunscreens, the glasses, and then you add in some of the more nefarious things like electromagnetic pollution. And now we have something else to talk about, probably the most dominant part of the reason why that paper and nature that you're talking about was written was we have a magnetic decline or the magnetic field of a planet. We can guess what happens? Things die and they die faster. Okay. You said this all. Dr. Jack, you said the poles of switch. You've said that on two occasions. I didn't stop in the moment and go describe this to me because people say it and it's just one of those things. You're like, okay, I agree. I might not know about that. What happens when the pole starts shifting? Well, it's a process that's natural on earth. It's happened about 500 times in 4.6 billion years. This is the latest excursion that we're going through. It started in 1859. So if you think about that nature paper, you realize that that encompasses kind of the last two or three generations of humans. So it shouldn't shock you why you as a 42 year old guy is older today than maybe previous renditions. Why? Because you have to make the assumption was the magnetic field saying Canada the same 150 years ago as it is today. And we now know from 2012 that the magnetic field used to be buried in Canada. It's now in Siberia and it's run there. 55 kilometers a year. So you would say if that happens, what would be the effect? So for example, as you mentioned on your segue, Brad Smith 42 years old is older. Why? Because the Russians stole this magnetic North pole. And it's not that the Russians did it on purpose. It's that mother nature said, let's see how this goes. And that's what an excursion does. The problem is Brad and Uncle Jack, especially medical school, weren't taught about how this affects our biology, but Brad came to understand this because he read the nature article and he said, Hey, what is one of the big reasons why something like this could happen? And guess what? That is probably the major driver right now. But I don't want anybody in the audience who's driving around in Toronto to think that that's the only player. It's not. There's a lot of other artificial things that are in our environment that we've all adapted to. To begin to understand how they all play a role, you begin to realize that your choices are the hinges of destiny. And that's the reason why 40 year olds are different today. 60 year olds are different today than they were yesterday. And I will tell you in the next 20, 30 years, when you're 65 like I am, it's going to be substantially different again. I'm jealous of your background, but it kind of is a perfect background for what we're going to talk about because this one is setting the internet ablaze. And I want to hear your thoughts on it because when we're talking about someone like myself, 42 years old, being 2026, we're aging faster than previous generations. You said the first reason that you brought up was from the magnetic pole shift from what used to be in Canada to Siberia now. But another one that's come out is that sunscreen is now going through a phase where people are starting to question it. And I wanted to get your idea of this because the McCullough Foundation has been huge in talking about this UK bio bank study. 470,000 people, the largest study done. Now it's saying that it's not a causation, but just equating the two that the higher use of sunscreen is coming out with a almost 300% increase in certain cancers. Where do you stand on this? Where do you stand on sunscreen? Well, that was pretty simple. For me, Brad, 25 years ago, I came out and said that I didn't need to wait for the bio bank study. And the reason why actually said, what we said in part one of this little interview, actually sunscreen on your skin blocks the magnetic chemicals in your skin. Those are melanin and cholesterol. So guess how this works? If you give me a little leeway here, I'll explain to you how magnetism works. So oxygen comes in two forms on earth. It comes in single and triplet states. I'll explain to you on the video and you can do this. Oxygen has two unpaired electrons. They should spin up when we're in health. When you put sunscreen on, they go anti-parallel. One spins up, one spins down. When one spins up and one goes down, it loses its magnetism. And what happens? Then you get oxidative fires, which is what Brad Smith called 42 year old Brad Smith. So why do I need Brad Smith and the sun with those sunscreen because we want his electrons spinning up all the time? The state builds coherence in cells, doesn't allow cancers to happen. So here's the interesting thing. When Brad was in school, he never learned the difference between single and triplet state. The reason for that is the Rockefeller guys and the Rochelle guys who own the copper tan franchise. That's about it. I think right now, a trillion dollar business. Remember if you use sunscreen, you use more drugs. So when you understand how incentives dictate outcomes, you'll understand why Uncle Jack 25 years ago was way ahead of the UK guys. And when you consider a Canada's high latitude, you consider UK's high latitude. Anybody who's high latitude that uses sunscreen needs to come down to my clinic and get a cat scanner of the brain because it's probably shrinking. You don't want to do that. Explain that. You can't leave us on that cliffhanger. Your brain's shrinking. Well, I mean, you can't.
it means that your brain is atrophy. When you wear sunscreen, there's documented proof that your brain shrinks. And Brad, how does this work? Let me give you this, this is really basic, you know, of neurosurgery. The skin in the brain come from the same part of the embryo, which is called neuroactoderm. So your skin is the solar panel for your brain. So if you put a tarp over it, let's use a common sense kind of thing, because I want this to really hit for the people in Canada. If you and I went to your backyard, put a tree in the ground and orange tree, your producer put the water, the other guy who's prompting you is putting the nutrients in the ground, and then some moron in the audience comes and put a tarp over the tree. Are we getting any oranges? The answer is no. You know that, that's a third great thing. So now I just told you that the skin is the solar panel for your brain. You put a tarp on it called sunscreen. Why would you expect the brain to stay full? It would travel and shrink. So it's the same process. Remember, same process. Why? You learn about photosynthesis. But the rock and fallar paradigm in medicine doesn't want you to understand the biophysics of animal photosynthesis that works with cholesterol and melanin. Therefore, they sell you something that actually creates a market for their products in pharma. That's exactly how this works. And you have to realize who are their foot soldiers, the dermatologist and ophthalmologist. OK, so everyone's going to come back right now because they're screaming at the radio. Well, what about skin cancer if you don't wear sunscreen? Well, the skin cancer, unfortunately, that's Brad Smith's problem right now in that studio. There's the difference between you and me. You mentioned outside here where you like my background. Well, you see, I have no windows in my house. The sun is coming in. It's beautiful. The brads inside a studio in Toronto are radiating self-blue light. What do we know about blue light, which is artificial light? It stimulates melanocytes to form melanoma. It stimulates brown cells that women who put their makeup on in front of their LED lights. That's how you get melasma. But see, the doctors will tell you it's all kinds of other things. But when it's really the light that you choose, remember, first segment, what I said to you. The choices are the hinges of destiny, the light that you decide to live under determines the diseases you get. So I'm going to hit you with this final one, Brad. This is a big one. Yes, sir. If the dermatologist and optimologist are right, right? You know that the sun makes vitamin D. Let me ask you a question. That means every single skin cancer, no matter what type it is, should be associated with high vitamin D levels. When you go back to the literature and read the dermatology and optimology literature, do you know what the number one thing is for all skin cancers and eye cancers associated with low vitamin D. You got it, brother. So how about we do this? How about we start? Like I try to tell people is I don't know if this will fly on your radio, but I'm going to say it anyway. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I'm a bullshit analyzer. And I got to be honest with you. The bullshit that is being fed to people through centralized medicine is the things that are harmless. So I believe Brad Smith, 42 years old, former athlete who doesn't feel great. If I can get him doing optimization of light water and magnetism, biophysics, you have an unbelievable surgeon inside yourselves, my friend, that can regenerate you. But guess what? Right now what we're doing, the way you and I are communicating is harming Brad more than it's helping him. And I want you to understand that. Yes, sir. It's important. You and I have talked about in the past about hockey. Hockey used to be played outside in the elements. Now it's paid in the saddle dough. And here's the problem. You wonder what the effect of that is when you have young men in NHL going long term. Well, I can tell you, I'm going to share this with you. I have an NHL player, son, in my clinic right now on Coastal Dose Soul. And he had to quit hockey. For some of the reasons you and I are talking about now, and his dad played in the NHL for 15 years. And he's Canadian. But he's in El Salvador right now. Very, very tied to what Brad wanted to talk to Uncle Jack about. So I would tell you why it's here. As a 20 year old man, he doesn't want to face what Brad Smith is facing at 42, because you are not told this information. You didn't know about Uncle Jack 25 years ago. And I started talking about this. But now you do. And now I'm going to tell you, not only is it good for Luke, but it's also good for Brad. Doesn't matter what age you are. That surgeon that's inside you that will renovate and regenerate you. You don't have to pay. All you have to do is make the correct choices about light, water, and magnetism. And you can win. It's like, you know, when people have these conversations, Jack, and they're, you know, they want to jump to conspiracy. That's not what we've been taught. That's, you know, I always debate. I was like, well, why don't, like, we're not saying at any point, just cut everything. Like the idea of having alternative discussions is so broadly insane to so many people right now. And without discourse, we really can't come to other different understandings. And I want to ask you this because Emily Kaplan, she's been on the show before, other people have come out and they're like, listen, these textbooks that we're being given in medical school, they're at least 50% wrong. Now, like higher up people that would never have said anything before. Now they're coming out. Where do we stand on what's being taught versus what the actuality of medicine is? All right. So I got to give you a little bit of history lesson here. You may not know this, but I did a pretty famous podcast. About three years ago at Rick Rubin is one of my patients and Andrew Uberman. Rick Rubin is a patient. That's amazing. Yeah. They're producer. Yeah. So when we did the podcast, he had a guy, Uberman's friend Eddie Chang is the head of UCSF neurosurgery. And he asked him this question about the 50% rule that you just talked about. Rick asked me the same question. I told him it's 99% and then I explained to tell him why it's the case. Do you know who controls the journals in medicine? In other words, who polices the science? It's Maxwell. Maxwell, Femme and Glee and Maxwell and Robert Maxwell. Why is that? Because they're paid for by the Rothschilds and Rockefelers. Remember, this is the whole scheme that's there. So if you control what is believed by doctors, that means you can get them to sell drugs. So what's the answer? It becomes pharma over physics. If you look at a system that was built the opposite way, which is in Russia, it's always physics over pharma. And what you see there, there's no central bank present in Russia. There's no big pharma present in Russia. Why? Because their system is organized differently. And they think differently. And for example, I want to give you something that you're using right now in your job that I've noticed off screen when you take the swig of the water out of the copper. You don't know that the copper and the water that's in there. Do you know that that reorders the electrons in the oxygen in the water you're drinking? So you're actually helping yourself offset the EMF that's present in your environment. So I want to applaud you for doing that. I hope to people who are driving around Toronto, see a video of this later that you're doing it because what did you just do? Who came up with that science? The Russians that we're talking about. They used this with their cosmonauts to try to build an artificial magnetic field. So they wouldn't die when they went in space. That was one of the things that they did. That doesn't happen in the United States. If you remember, Communist Russia used to have on every corner these CO2 machines that anybody could drink free. And they used to give people CO2 water in copper cups for free. And they were doing that. Why? They were testing how this would work on the people, the astronauts on the tectonic plates before they used it in space. And they found out it worked. And guess what? They continued to study this over time. And I found out about this 25 years ago that this I translated almost $200,000 worth of papers back then because there was no books that ran my medical school. And when I realized it, I said, wait a minute, if this effect is in water, what kind of other effects happen with breathing and things like that? And I found out they were working on all these things. That's where I learned the point about singlet and triplet oxygen that I mentioned to you before. Because if you don't know this, and most of the doctors in Canada don't know this, so why would anybody right now driving around Toronto listening to me and you talk? Know this? So of course they're going to think it's conspiracy theory. But here's the cool thing about no BS with Brad Smith. Were you and I can sit down and chat about something like this and people cannot trust Uncle Jack, go verify this fact. And when you verify it, then you go back and say, to see the dermatologist next time and say, yeah, I don't think I'm going to be dealing this sunscreen thing because I looked at your literature. And all these cancers associated with low-vitamine, D not high-vitamine, D. So why would I ever go out of the sun? Why would I put a tarp on me? I don't want to shrink my brain. I don't want to shrink my pituitary. I don't want to shrink my ability to make love to my wife. It's crazy. Why would I do this? There you go. That's the point of no BS with Brad Smith. - Dr. Jack, you're just the most phenomenal. And if anyone didn't catch it, yeah, I do. Dr. Jack, I've been out of this copper water bottle for about two or three months right now. Because again, I felt like,
Just that old saying, like you only have one life to live, you only have one body. I walked around for 15 years, probably post football, maybe 13 years post football, with at least a number five level at a 10 of pain every single day, back tips and shoulders. And over the last year, I've made a concerned effort, fixed my posture, fixed my movement, fixed my kinesiology in my shoulders and my hips. And it's just been great. And to top it off, hearing you say this stuff, and really bring attention to conversations that need to be happened. And just not let people roll through this. Good on you and keep raising your voice. And I can't wait to have you back the next time. Thank you so much. - Ain't no problem. Good seeing you, my friend. Enjoy the weather out there. (upbeat music) - And God, I love that guy. He's got a great way of breaking it down. Like a former top neurosurgeon, who is now devoting his life to these methods that he's produced over years and years of research, not just in neuroscience, but over the entire medical field. And what he says there is crazy. This conversation that we're having about the Western medicine that doctors being taught, a lot of the high-end doctors, top-end doctors, some of the most reputable people in the world are talking about 50% of those textbooks being completely, yes. Now, do your own research. Always take your doctor's advice. I'm not saying don't do that. But great to have open conversations like we can now, especially with people all over the world. You can communicate just like this. Now, like share follow, you can do all that stuff. But I'd rather point you to our website. Because right now, we have launched as of Canada Day, this fundraiser. And a lot of you who listen to the podcast and a lot of you who listen to the live show nine to 12 week days on I Heart Radio. I've been asking me, Brad, where do we download your intro music? The Wait What section, the propaganda breakdown music. And now with this con, con, con, con, man, Carnie song for Eurovision, just a joke, but my submission to Eurovision, I've made it possible for you to download all of them. And what we're going to do in return, do something good for people. I know money is tight right now. So I'm not asking for a lot. You can donate as little as you want. You could donate a dollar. You could donate as much as you want. And it's all going to Food Banks, Canada, where we're going to help out the 2.2 million Canadians that are activating Food Banks every single month. And again, I say this to click into your heartstrings, the 700,000 kids that are part of those 2.2 million that have to activate food and are living through food insecurity right now. It's important to do that. So go to nobs withbs.com/playlist and you'll see a donate now button that's right directly to Food Banks, Canada, or just scale down onto our menu type music, or sorry, click the music button, and all the options are there as well. Why not do a good thing and give you something back in return? I could give these out for free, but let's put our money where our mouth is and do something good moving forward. It can cost you as little as you want or as much as you want, but we appreciate every dollar that you send. And all the beautiful people that helped us raise almost a thousand dollars on day one of this, a thousand dollars. I know it sounds like not a lot for a fundraiser, but that is a lot of money for people in need. So as always, say something great to yourself, something great will happen today, something great will happen this weekend, this month this year, it's gonna happen. But for me right now, I just gotta say to you, peace, I'm outta here. (upbeat music)

FAQs
According to Dr. Jack, this is due to living an artificial life, including factors like diet, sunscreen, electromagnetic pollution, and a decline in Earth's magnetic field, which accelerates biological aging.
The magnetic north pole has been shifting from Canada to Siberia since 1859, moving about 55 km per year. This change in Earth's magnetic field is a major driver of faster biological aging in recent generations.
Yes, Dr. Jack argues that sunscreen blocks the skin's natural magnetic chemicals like melanin and cholesterol, leading to oxidative stress and potentially increasing cancer risk. He cites a UK Biobank study showing a 300% increase in certain cancers with higher sunscreen use.
Dr. Jack claims that sunscreen can cause brain shrinkage because the skin and brain originate from the same embryonic tissue. He compares sunscreen to a tarp that blocks the skin's ability to absorb sunlight, which he says is essential for brain health.
Dr. Jack states that all skin cancers are associated with low vitamin D levels, not high levels. He argues this contradicts the common advice to wear sunscreen to prevent skin cancer.
Dr. Jack explains that copper reorders electrons in the water's oxygen, helping to offset the effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) in the environment. This practice was used by Russian cosmonauts to build artificial magnetic fields.
