In this episode of "The Basement Yard," hosts Joe and Frank start with energetic banter about energy drinks and pre-workouts, reminiscing about intense supplements like "The Curse" and "C4" that made them feel superhuman. They transition to announcing a new interactive segment for their live shows, encouraging fans to submit photos online for a chance to be featured on the big screen. The conversation then veers into nostalgia for early 2000s media, including dance movies like "You Got Served" and "Stomp the Yard," as well as classic video games such as "Def Jam Fight for NY," "Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3," and "Twisted Metal," sparking playful memories. They also discuss sleep habits, nightmares, and lucid dreaming, sharing funny stories about snoring and defending themselves when caught. After promoting their sponsors and Patreon, the duo dives into a philosophical debate about spirituality, touching on meditation, crystals, astrology, and numerology, with Frank expressing skepticism while Joe shows openness. The episode culminates in a live tarot card reading where each picks a card, leading to amusingly accurate interpretations, such as Frank getting "negative thinking" and Joe getting "abundance." The hosts wrap up with jokes and a reminder to follow them on social media, ending on a lighthearted note.
Welcome back to the basement yard. What do you do with your fingers? I don't know. I had one of those energy drinks and now I feel like I'm moving faster than ever. Go real fast. Run in your seat, really fast. Run, run, run, run. I know that's not how you run. Whoa, dude. What's going on? I got a line to edit. Please don't go down. You don't think you've passed out doing a fake run during the podcast. That's just how shitty my shape is. My shape is not in shape. I got my my shape is bad. My shape is not in. It's not in too far. My shape is off. I'm just shaping. You don't do that. Like when you're like really energetic, you feel like you're moving faster than ever. I feel like I could feel on my hair. Like when I drink an energy drink, I feel like I could feel all the hair on the butt. I feel like I could feel like I could shoot lightning out of my fingers. I get that too and I also do a lot of this. You know what? That's weird. I do this and I crack my fingers crack sometimes. I do it. I just feel like I become very aware of my arms and I'm like I can move them. I just get like I get like really like I can feel my eyebrows sometimes and I'm just like yo what like I hear my where I hear my blinks that fucks me up. What? You don't hear your blinks sometimes. I don't know. When you blink you're just like it goes like not not like I'm a fucking shy guy. Yeah. Yeah. What does that mean? It's a marry. That's a thing for us. Oh shy guys. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh. That sounded like Yoshi. No. It did. That's Yoshi, baby. That's pretty good. You just got them all in. I got to come. I mean I have kids. I do this regularly. You just do a show. You will too when you have children. That was a bit like daddy daddy picked me up out of my bed made of solid gold and do a fucking impression and you're going to be like all right I could do an impression of Rick Rubin because that's all that's the book you're reading at the time. The fact that you know Rick Rubin's name is fascinating to me. He was a music guy right. Kind of yeah. Yeah. Long white beard. Yep. Yeah. I know. Yeah. How is the fastest you can do this? What? Go as fast as you can go. No just two fingers. Ready? Stop. Ready? Oh slow down. Why do I have to stop? I'm doing it. I'm saying I want to see how fast you can just one. How fast you can go. Ready? I don't know which one I'm better at this one. Ready? No this one. Set. Go. This is stats. Nothing dude. That slow is fuck. Hope you're all entertained. You're not even doing it. You're not even kicking your feet there. Like switching. Yeah. Wow. That's pretty good. I wish they made bigger chairs. I'm sorry. I got to stop. Yeah. Yeah. One thing she's drinking is going crazy. One thing. Anyway before we start this episode which I mean we've already done. Just wanted to let everyone know if you are coming to the shows this year we're doing a very fun segment where we're we're going to allow everyone in the audience to peg Joey to that'd be pretty difficult to set up. Nobody loves you more than you. Nobody loves you. God damn right. It's just self love is the best love. Yeah. That's not. We have this segment in the new show where you guys can submit photos for us. So last year we had the cards and that was like the people in the crowd submitted those cards. So if you're coming to a show you can go to thebasementyard.com/submit and you will see this landing page. So there's a drop down menu where it can show you which show you're attending. You put in that show then you upload a photo. It can be of pretty much anything. It could be like an embarrassing moment or a funny thing or just a crazy thing that you have in your camera roll within reason here. And you submit it and then we can put those things up on the we're going to put them up on the screen. So it's going to be all things. All the things that we put on the screen are going to be from people at the show that night. So go to thebasementyard.com/submit, submit your crazy photos and yeah maybe you'll be on the big screen at the show. There were some of those shows where those cards were so incredibly memorable and just out of fucking left field insane. I can only imagine what these pictures are going to be. I know. Do you have a picture you could think of that you would submit for this that just needs context but has none? I'd have to go through. You have to go through. And find some of the anals of Joe Sanogado's old pictures. I have to go all. Yeah, I have to go back in my camera roll and find something. There's some that I have. You save like every photo, don't you? Oh, I don't know about every. I have a lot going back. Could you have like a laptop that has like thousands of photos? I honestly haven't checked it in years and I don't know if it's like one of those things that like I need to save or like they just dissipate into the fucking the cloud or whatever. It might not be but there are I have pictures of like because I was the one like I said when we do Vegas trips, I was the one that had that life proof case. Yeah, so like I would bring my phone everywhere and people would just take my phone and take pictures and stuff like that. Yeah, it was it was a fun time. It was an interesting time. Yeah, so we're going to find out about these people in the crowd. But again, this is what it looks like. Go to the base mirror dot com slash slash submit, send those photos in for each of the cities that you're going to be at and yeah, that'll be fun. Also, there's a there's an option to like tell the story behind the photo and you could put your name or you don't have to put your name, whatever it is. I think I'm going to submit one and see if I can get it. Throw it up. Slide it by. Yeah, I can get it by whoever's going to be reviewing this. Yeah, let's hope it's Greg because if it's you, you're going to be a sick freak with it. I would be good. Yeah, could be talking like I don't I couldn't think. I would be good. I've had a it's it's, you know, we're chilling. I've also had one. So the words, the brain's going faster than the mouth. Okay, I love when that happens. Well, yeah, no, your mouth goes before your brain for sure. Sometimes I can just tell that sometimes you start talking and then you start looking around the room. And I'm like, oh, he's looking for the rest of it. What is that all the time? Maybe when we record, but I'm a very well-spoken and and it fucking I compile my thoughts. I compile my thoughts well. No, yes, I do. What the hell does that mean? No, I'm talking about when we were recording. Oh, yeah, no, no, no, no. What I'm recording is you just let it rip. Yeah, well, and then we have to figure out what we're doing here. You know, that does happen sometimes if not a lot of it. You know, but so what? I don't need this. I don't need the whole. So what? I'm whimsical and we used to have there used to be companies that would see what he's doing. I just know. I just know you're attacking me. Honestly, this is becoming a form of a full blown attack assault. We're assault. You're assaulting me. Speaking of assault, that was the name of the the brand that I like the pre-workout that made me feel on my hair. Brother, if you in the early to mid 2010s wanted to have a successful pre-workout, you needed to name it something that sounded like a crime. Yeah, that would make a conservative just like get horny. It'd be like, blood fire. Yeah. Welcome. It's called chimpanzee come. You know, just like, no, it's the first place your mind went because I was on a different vibe there. I was thinking more like dragon come. That's a better one. I wasn't thinking come. The chimpanzee wasn't the problem, Frank. I was thinking more like bullets and guns and fire. Well, the first one I remember was C4, which lines up with your explain. And I remember taking it and like, they still have it. I know, but it's not what it used to be. Oh, I don't know that. It's not, I mean, I took us a pre-workout like a couple of years ago and I was like, okay, I feel like I've been pre-worked, but like, but like, it's nowhere near what it used to be in like 2013. Now imagine just a full eight ball. Bang. Well, I think a lot of those old pre-workouts got in trouble because they had some shit that's like, this is pretty much methamphetamine. Yeah. Like they're closest, as close it could legally be to methamphetamines without getting arrested. What a crazy concept, man. I remember I had one called the curse. The curse. Yeah. What did it have like a fucking mission? I think it still exists. It just had a skull with like, like eyes, like bright red eyes. The curse? The curse pre-workout. You know, come on. There it is. Oh my god. Is it still there? Yeah, brother. That's what you bought. Yeah, that's shit. It's still around. I'm not kidding. You would be able to count the amount of times that your dick is fucking puckered. This made you feel every part of your body. I'm not going to lie. Sometimes you feel your dick. I can feel it, like, living. Like, yeah, I can fail my ween or living. Yes. I'm like, yo, is it breathing right now? I don't know what it was, but like, there was a point when I was like a teenager where like, I had like, it was brain and dick. That's all that mattered on my body. And I like knew like, I had like a, like, I was in step and lock step with it. I knew what it was going to do. I had a summer like that with my nipples, where like I knew I could feel my nipples at all times. Now I just have nipples. I don't even think about it. It's like a fuse. You look confused. You've never been in tune with one part of your body for a summer. Well, you're fucking giant fucking balls and shit. It would take you four hours to get a thought from your nerve endings to your balls. You guys are locked in. I'm here for the ride. Okay. I'm telling you,
these old pre-workouts. - The curse is crazy. - I know. There's other ones that are like, it's called like, you know, assault and battery. - Yeah. - C4, insane veins. Woke AF, no disrespect, that sucks. - Yeah, that's terrible. - That sucks. - Woke AF, pre-workout, oh god, what are we gonna do? - Find some other ones. - You gotta go. - Just type in like pre-workout, insane pre-workouts. - Yeah, like, yeah, yeah. - Because there are some that just like, I'm telling you they were the closest to drugs that I've seen. - Just one call, just motherfucker. (laughing) It's like, yo, take this, it's called motherfucker. Bulge, bulge. (laughing) - Wait, he's called that, we gotta see these. - Hold on, wait, wait, wait. Pimp blast. - No, no, no. - I mean, we need, - These aren't like, hold on. We need a better, - You need, you need to, - Go to the images, - Go to the images. - Go to the images, we'll see. Okay, so what do we have? Chad mode. - This one's called psychotic. - First of all, that one says, I am God. (laughing) - It's in labs. - I am God. - I am God. - That is fucking awesome. - Apple flavored, Adam and Eve. - Ooh. - You know what I mean? - That's a good one. - Yes. - There's a look at the other one. - In Jakumax. (laughing) - And it would be maximum male support. I don't know if that's real. - Oh, wait, this is for a bigger explosion. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - How does that even, what is it? Just put gunpowder behind your giz. - No, no, no. - No, no, no. - Yeah, I think. (laughing) - Come here and hey. All right, let's take a look at the other one. Can we scroll down here? - Yeah, yeah. - We got an edge of insanity. - That's what a lot of them are. - Psychotic. - Yeah. - They are trying to show you that like taking this is going to put you in a safe, state of psychosis so you can work out better. - Bulls, you're so good. - This one's called #NotForPussy. - Not for pussies or just not for pussy. - It's not for pussy. - Oh, okay. - If that's real, that all the way sucks, dude. - That's so bad. - And it's funny because these are the worst people in the world taking these. AKA two dots. - Okay, that just says pre-punk. - That's what. - That says pre-punk. - That can't be real, dude. - Yeah, I don't know if that one's okay. - That can't be real, I can't be real. - Bulls. - There's bulge. - Demon dust. - Yeah, baby. - Gorilla mode madness. I love it because you know what's crazy? Is you take it and you do feel like this stuff. - Mother-bucker. - Yeah, baby. - That would make sense. - That does. Wait, what does that say? Does that say what daddy? - Pump. - Pump daddy? - Pump volume two. - Volume two. - Volume two. - Okay, party volume two. - V2, I'm telling you right now, the worst person, you're gonna, next time you go to the gym, the worst person there that's taken this is gonna see you and beat you with a fucking lead pipe. - Just type in like funny pre-workout names. - Let's narrow out. - I mean, are we not seeing them? - No, we are, but I feel like-- - Like, duh. - Christopher's juicy pumps. - Yes. - It's insane. - Specified who made it. - I think the insane ones and funny ones are one and the same here. - Spit pre-workout in my mouth. - No. - I can't believe I am God. - Bulge is unbelievable. But I gotta say, you do, like, the closest I've ever had to like a psychotic break where I feel like I am a deity is when I've taken an old school pre-workout. - Yeah. - Well, also when you're on pre-workout and then, or any sort of caffeine, at least for me, some pretty sense of the caffeine, and then I am doing a workout. If I'm not breathing properly and then I finish my set, I'm kinda like, and like, my whole world is closing in. - Gunk, gunk, gunk, like it feels like, you know when you play like "Call of Duty" and like, you're playing the first person shooter and you get shot and it's like, you're almost done, you're almost here. That's what it feels like when you take these things. - Yo, the other day I went for a run and then it felt like I had like a headache. I was like dehydrated, but I went for a run and I was like, I felt my, it felt like only the top half of my head was pounding and I could feel it moving. - Yo, I'm not kidding. I've had headaches where I'm like, I feel like mega-mind. Like I feel like my head is bigger. Getting bigger to the point where it's gonna fucking erupt. - Yeah, that shit is scary. - I know, and that's what I took my hat off 'cause I'm like, let me let my big head breathe. - Yeah. - Do I have a big head? - No. - Do I have a normal head or a big head? - A normal head? - Do I have a big nose? - If anything, you, no. I think you're pretty normal like. - I guess your head's a little big. - It's a little big? - Sometimes I feel like-- - But you have a smaller head than I do. - I got a big neck, I know that. - Here, put this on, this fitted, this is a fitted so it'll tell you if it's smaller than my head. One size is this, seven, three, eights. That's good size. - Yeah. - I think you have a normal head than me though. - Yo, has your TikTok been giving you what it's been giving me? - That's not how that works. - Have you? (laughing) - No, sometimes I think because I got a TikTok the other day and it was like this guy going through the comfy issues and then I saw you post it the shoes and I was gonna buy the shoes, the Nike Vimo premiums or something like that? - The Vameros? - Yeah, I was gonna buy them 'cause these are the comfy shoes in the world and then I saw you wearing them and I was like, "Well, now I can't." (laughing) - Have you seen, I don't know if your TikTok algorithm has brought you here, to Hat Toss and Queen? - No. (laughing) - I'll try. - It's just like people that live in upstate New York. It's like Yonkers and it's just like a guy who catches it and catches it and his girlfriend and they're just dancing. I honestly am a big fan of that. - They look like they have a modern love story. I don't know. I love when people are doing the, they're like getting light and then they have the hat and then they put on their elbow and they catch it with their knee. I'm like, "Yo." - You know what we need to watch, which we haven't watched and I'm saying we is a collective we. When's the last time we watched you got served? Or like any of those mid 2000s like competitive dance movies. You got served, stomped the yard. - Yo, when I, the first time I watched stomped the yard, I'm like, "This is what I wanna do with my life." - When I heard that-- - I almost put a fucking hole in my bedroom floor after I watched stomped the yard 'cause I was in my room just like. - Oh, yeah! - I wanted to be Columbus short. - I was like, "Yo, it's got a van." - Honestly, that's a good, dude had it going. - Yeah, it was cool. - Good looking dude. You can dance well. - Backflip it in shit. - Yeah, bro, mad backflip. - Didn't Chris Brown get shot in the first five seconds? - Spoiler alert. - Oh shit. - I mean, the movie's 400 years old. It is probably 20 years old, but I loved that movie. - Yo, that movie-- - You got served as great too. - But like, yo, when I heard you got served, I was like, "This might be the single greatest cinematic experience that might've ever existed." (laughs) - Well, I was like 14 at the time. It came out and I'm just like, you're seeing Omarion and fucking Marquis Houston. I'm pretty sure that's who's in it. - Yeah. - Like, "Get mad at this white dude with cornrows and a fucking, not even a band had a headband." And I was like, "Yeah, the fuck this guy." - Yeah. - And they're just doing like the floating thing. And I'm like, "Yo, how do they do that?" Steve Hars is like, "Now, we're gonna take it to the street." Yeah, maybe you don't do a Steve Harvey impression joke. - Why? - I don't know if that's gonna, you know. - Sit on it. - Sit on it. (laughs) - The dude, it was a little Kim's in that. - Oh yeah, she like is like the judge at the end, right? - Yeah, I remember her being very oiled up in that movie. - She was oiled. - I don't wanna speak ill of Lil Kim. - Who's speaking ill? I'm saying she was oiled. - I'm just, I would go, I was gonna go into, why would this person be oiled? I don't know. - She was oiled up. - Was she? - Yeah. - Can you? - I can't search Lil Kim oiled up. - Yeah, no, no, no, no. - I would never ask. - Yeah, I know. - I would tell you that, right now. - Shout out to Lil Kim. - What was the, it was like the song at the end of it. - Pomp it up. - Pomp it up. Pomp it up. Pomp it up. - No, it was "Pump It Up" by Joe Button. - Remember a little saint? - Was it "Freeway" in there, too? - The "Freeway" song, yeah. - Yeah, clap for me, man, yeah. - Yeah, yeah. - Just play, oh no, yeah. - Just plays on the beat. - What was the, what was the, God, there was another, there's another. - It takes to make the fight. - Loud it? - Yo, you know what game I bought recently? - Well. - "Deaf Jam Fight for New York." - "Deaf." - For those who don't know, "Deaf Jam Fight for New York" is a video game where you just fight as rappers. Like "Fifty Sense Fight" and "Loot of Chris." - Yes, then like-- - I don't think "Fifty Sense" was in it 'cause he wasn't signed to "Deaf Jam Records." - But it was like "Fat Joe." - It was like, you could be exhibit and you could have a four-way match with Lil Kim, Snoop Dogg and Fat Joe. - And you would just fight each other. - Yo, this game was incredible. The roster was out of control. It was like, "Jarool, met with man." - Red man was in it. Then they had like random people like fucking, I think like Sean Paul was in it. - Slick Rick, hell yeah. - But yo, this game has become like a collector's item. - Really? How much do you think I paid for this game? - Oh, you bought it recently. - 18 bucks. - 14. - Am I going-- Am I hot or cold, brother? - I'm freezing? - Yeah. - It's $62. - 150 bucks. - Why did you do that? - You really wanted it? - I saw it and I said, "I want to have it." - I would like this, so I'm gonna pay 100 for the last one. - Yeah, a good game, dude. And then like-- - Did you play it? - I have to pop it in and play it because I'm in the middle of playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. - Who are? Who what? - Come over here. - Is that the gold finger one? - That's the one, uh-- - Who here I am? - Who are everything I am? - I'm in the middle of the world. - No, it's the one where I'm in the middle of playing Need for Speed Underground 2 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3. Yeah, dude. It's a life.
Electric in the Alvarez household. That's crazy. Yeah, you're playing games from like 2008 So what 2004 who's counting? Oh, you know, it'll be like you know those games have not aged well if we could you know Because it's like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 will be like the challenges get the secret tapes Grind to this rail near this near this dirty fucking hobo, you know, just like Grind the rail and fuck up this hobo's cart It's not nice dude It'll be like do a fucking fakie Ollie with Bam Margera and absolutely ruin this homeless person's encampment And then like need for speed on a ground - will be like go to a drag race on this crowded highway with a woman of bikini You know what I mean? I loved that game listening to the Snoop Dogg remix of writers on the storm You know, that game is fantastic and I had a great car in it and that was the game where it's kind of like open world and the cops Just start chasing you. No, so the cops didn't chase you in that one. That was most wanted when they'd start chasing you Oh, I love that but those game oh god fucking spin around fucking do this. Oh, I loved do you remember? Not only I love the game burnouts Fucking not only that I love the game burn out you remember burnout where it was like the whole idea was that you had to make your car crash in the craziest way Do you remember Keith was like could have gone pro if that was like a competitive game? Sounds like a Keith. It was like burn out three take down and Keith would be like I if I hit this car at this angle and he would make like a $50 million crash or so That sounds so vaguely familiar. You definitely remember these games wow, but Yeah, I wish if you could be in a video game. Oh my god. Yes Yeah, dude these games are sick. That's so weird that you remember that well, it's because I have it You have burn out. I don't have burnout. I have all the other ones, but I can go get burned out if you want it What was the one vigilante? Was that a was that a vigilante? Yeah, I don't know which one I mean, I'm sure there's a game called vigilante, but like it was like two prime streets of LA Yes, there was that there were you know hit like the hitman games. Wait, what the what else have you bought? Uh, I Random random it's games that we had grown up. I bought I have two towers. I remember I Yeah, that games fantastic. I remember I took a game from you once Tarak Tarak evolution. I have it you you just you're killing I remember with bow and arrows bro. I still remember the like all to unlock all the cheat codes code To Tarak. Yeah FM and fb It makes it means nothing to anyone unless but like you could like it was like big turn on big head mode And you shot a gun that had like Bugs in it and it like popped their heads and shit like that Good game, man. Good games. Do you know any of these? I know Tarak. Okay, and you played twisted metal For hours at a time. Bro twisted metal too was one of the best cinematic like gaming experiences I've ever had my entire life where you knock down the thing besides Was cinematic experience was was fucking You got served. Oh, you got some video game is twisted metal too. Yeah, when you break the the uh, yes When you break the Eiffel Tower and it leads you to another part of the level Nothing got made me happier than twisted metal at a certain point in my life like it was like It was everything I cared about. It was so good. You're the show is good. Have you watched the show? No You're the show is fun as hell. Yeah, Anthony Mackey. Anthony Mackey. Stephanie Beatrice. Who's he play? Anthony, he just plays like a dude. I remember if he played I think he ends up playing like one of the characters from the games But like sweet tooth is in it Yeah, yeah I used to get nightmares when I should do last time you had a nightmare a couple days ago. You're the nightmare. Yeah, I can sleep Oddly enough. It was after I finally watched obsession. Oh But I didn't it was like someone I woke up like Like out of the movies someone broke into my house and was injecting me with needles like plugging me with needles Oh, like and they woke up to them like and they were listening to some 41. That's what I remember Some 41. Yeah Sounds like a nightmare to me. Yeah Could you have nightmares? I don't where you a big nightmare kid when you were younger like your parents always had to be like Yeah, you definitely were mommy daddy. Let me sleep in your bed. No, I don't think so. I'll be honest I love sleeping in the bed with my mom That's fair. I like you. I don't know where as a kid. I used to go my parents For some reason our parents generation It was like a thing to have like a bench at the end of your bed Yeah, they love that. What the fuck was that? I don't know well I remember I used to sleep underneath the bench and like that was where I got like a cat Let's give it sleep like a cat. What if they stepped on you? It's under the water. They're gonna step on the bench. You were perfectly. Would you like high? They would know Yeah, they'd wake up and they'd be like what the fuck is this kid doing under here? Do you ever hear anything? Definitely not in my parents house If I heard anything it was just like I'll sign the papers Hahaha Definitely not in my house 100% no Wow, that was the last time you had a nightmare. I think I had one the other night And when I have nightmares, isn't it funny to say nightmares? No good word, adults. Yeah, like bad dream. It's even worse. Is there a difference between a bad dream and a nightmare? A nightmare sounds way worse. Definitely. I think it's the severity of it A bad dream could be anything. Nightmares is like it haunts you Yeah, whenever I have bad dreams, they always involve Keith in some capacity Okay, and I'm just like I don't know like it makes me sad, I guess Or do you subscribe to like there are people that believe like if you eat certain things before bed You'll get like more vivid or lucid dreams um, I don't I mean, maybe that's true. I not my experience like I know like chocolate was one of those is like you eat chocolate Then you have like weird dreams or something, but like I have done that and I don't think that like really lines up with my experience However, I think that if I'm I think I sleep a lot better when I am really hydrated when I go to sleep Oh, that's worse for me because I'm gonna get up twice to piss Well, that's the thing is like you do get up, but I also feel like I have vivid dreams because I'm sleeping hard Really? I don't know why so you sleep better when you are like well hydrated. I guess. Okay. It's interesting. You ever lucid dream? Yes, I mean, I told a story that I had a I had a lucid dream that his brother-in-law or friend Danny growing up I was in my apartment two apartments ago. I was in my apartment and I realized like oh, I'm in a dream because I walked out It was my my actual apartment at the time and I walked out and I saw a giant spider on the window sill Like in the kitchen and I was like oh, this is a dream and then I turn around and her name is Christine And she came walking out of one of the rooms and I look at her and I'm like this is a dream It's not real so I picked up a chair and I held it over my head and I slammed it over her head But it bounced like she like they were both made of rubber So I just kept slamming the chair over her head. Okay, and then I woke up I heard a gun that is really texting her and I was like I fucking knocked you over there with a chair the other day I've lucid dream like a couple times and I can't get the flying down. I wasn't flying I those are like the dreams that I get where it's like I can fly at will. Yeah But like it never gets to the point where I'm just like what the fuck like where I would consider it like lucid Like they don't ever really get really really weird But I also forget about them like five seconds after waking up. Yeah, that's my it's because they say if when you realize that you're lucid dreaming You're not really supposed to do anything that'll get your heart rate too high Because then you it'll bring you out of it really because I was having a workout being a rover that you were really going So that's impressive to be fair It was short. I probably could have kept going and doing another stuff Sometimes I wear my apple watch to sleep and I don't like it doesn't like spike the times that I've had dreams So like I guess they're not as lucid as if anything I think it would be like whoa because you're like not moving and you're so what he's talking about getting your heart rate up And shit like that when you're dreaming. I'm pretty good. Yeah, you know I wonder if I'm like a dog like if you have a dream you're like, huh? What? No? Probably brother. I for sure. You talk not tall moan Why is that the next place you go? We'll just like make noise is like Yeah, oh like a puppy. Yeah, it's like oh he's dreaming a catching a bone. Well, you're not gonna be there like hey Hey, well apparently you want to help one two three one two three That I can't explain. No, I think I know that I have like I believe they call them sleep spindles It's like as you're approaching like as you're falling asleep. I'll be like And I'll just I'll do that. I hate that bro I do it and Becca will get like sometimes like freaked out because you'd be like what and I'm just like Yesterday last night we were watching because I was exhausted by the end of the day and we're watching um Breaking bad and I'm falling asleep She's like you're falling asleep, but I'm like no, I'm not I don't know why I get so mad Don't accuse me of falling asleep, but I'm asleep. I'm literally awake Like I realize it after it gets to the point where like after I've done it I'm just like well, I have to I can't admit I was wrong. I have to like double down on like no. I wasn't But like already here. I'm not like I'm not me when that happens. It's not like it's a different person It's a different person entirely. Yeah, you know, and it's I there's nothing I could do. He's sleep. Frankie takes over that in between You're a different person and you get so angry and people like hey Like if I fall asleep in the couch or something like me and Nicole are watching something you should be like Why don't we just like go into the bed? I'm like for what? We're sitting out here having a good time and I'm like out because yeah, Becca you've been asleep for 20 minutes
dumbass. She'll be like, you just snored. I'm like, no, what do you, like, what do you even fucking mean? You just snored. My throat is itchy. Yeah. What do you mean? But there are hard times where I've snored awake. So that, that, that is like my only defense. I've done that too, where I like, or I don't know if it's a snorer or whatever it is, but I'm like, and then if Nicole's up, I'm like, that was me. She's like, yeah, well there, we on two occasions, back and I have gotten like couples massages. And she's like, where are you sleeping because you were snoring? And I was like, no, I was fully awake. I was just so relaxed. Massages? I don't know if I fall asleep or not. To be fair. I just, I, I can't conceptualize the fact that I've sat there without stimulation for an hour. You know what I mean? Like, what do you mean? Because it seems to go by so quickly, but I've been awake the whole time. But I guess I was in such a state of like euphoria that I'm like, you know, like I snore, but I'm fully aware. You're doing it now. Yeah. It's defending yourself. Definitely. But I don't think I'm. I do think that it puts you in this like purgatory of sleep. It's like that. You ever see that thing where it's like that monk reached the state of Nirvana and they've been in like they haven't aged and they've been sitting for like 80 years. You definitely have seen that. A monk like is not moving. Yeah. Look it up. What? It's like motionless. It's like a mummified monk. I said it and I will stop doing that because I know after Joe easy be like, stop telling people I'm going to show my asshole on this show. And I'm going to say, I'm sorry. I will stop saying that Joe Santa got to show his ass hole. Okay. This month, I couldn't really find at all what he was talking about. Go ahead. Why don't you try and pronounce that for us? I was going to say a so kushin butsu. I was pretty good. I can't believe you said that about my mom. I just found a Japanese Buddhist practice where the monks would indeed mummify themselves to try to reach Nirvana. That's what that's what I'm talking about. But this is a it's a practice but you're describing one. I've seen I guess that maybe I saw an example of this practice. So what is this? They they mummify themselves which requires so they would like diet and then they would mummify themselves over a process of like a thousand days. So they would like get in a position, be like in case have a little breathing tube and then F and a little bell and after a while the bell would stop ringing and that's when everyone thought that okay they've reached Nirvana and then they would take out them out of the tube. I guess it's possible. We don't know for sure. Sounds like they just died. It sounds like a thousand days brother. They would have died well before that. That's true. But apparently that's how they reach Nirvana. So maybe it worked. I don't know. If I put a human being in a box and gave him a straw to breathe and they made it a thousand days. I mean that's outrageous. That's three years. Yeah. That's insane. I don't think that's that can't you can't live without water and food more than like five days or something like that. The monks are so there's there's a I actually don't know what qualifies as a monk but there is a man that I believe identifies as a monk and I saw videos of him and he was like
So well spoken and the stuff that he's saying felt like it was like unlocking things in my brain and I'm like How are they Getting there. How are they getting maybe that's it? Maybe maybe it's I mean may I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't want to speak on do you meditate? I don't but I heard that that's a thing that a lot have you ever done it? Maybe in like fourth grade for like 30 seconds or something like that like you meditated in fourth grade Everyone like used to do that where they'd like sit criss-cross applesauce and then go like this and they would say like Or something like that. Right. I mean that clearly is what I'm saying like it's racist anyway, is it? I don't know. Oh, I if it is I I don't think that's meditating. You're like Geo like well, I heard aren't there a bunch of comedians that do like mini meditation and shit like that? Huh? I think Jerry Seinfeld is a big one. I'm not meditations I think it's like he does like the process of like mini meditation. There's something like that. I don't even fucking know We had a giant argument about this. Danny says that he meditates during call of duty I mean I would you know what look up the definition of meditation because if it's just a place and whatever helps you get to that place Is it possible? I will say I download an app once that Does guided meditation. It's like a very popular one And it it there is like I definitely believe in it like I definitely believe that it's helpful to like Especially because I think that we're just overly Simulated screens and whatever your eyes are always darting to have nothing and just kind of sit there and it like plays music And it's sort of like guiding and like guides your breath afterwards. You're like that is lovely. Oh, yeah, I mean I I'm sure I need it Like I'm sure I would benefit but it says here. It's a set of techniques used to focus attention quiet the mind and enhance overall well-being I mean It's just that doesn't sound like killing people in color. Yeah, I don't I mean I don't get it But he was like what's the difference between meditating and being locked in you know what I mean like is that not Like people like get so locked into something that they reach I'm sure a state of meditation and they're able to just kind of do the thing well. I guess I I am not I have not tried it. I probably would benefit from it But there are a lot of people that openly like and especially comedians say that they like do like mini-meditation Never heard that. Have you do you meditate? Have you done it? No, I I'll try to like Clear my mind, I guess, but how just like trying to like stop thinking please. I'll just try to do something like that Just sounds like anxiety stop thinking please stop thinking of things Something like that The Apple Watch has like a thing where it's called like mindful meditation or like something like that But like it is like it goes off every day at like a different time and it like Show it like breathes in and breathes out and it's like think of a time when you felt the most love from your loved ones and stuff like that I'm sure it's good for you. I probably I would I would recommend it, but I don't know enough about it Interesting. I'm not sure I need it yet yet yet. I'll need it eventually. If anyone needs it, it's you Mr. Mr things are going too well and the world's about to come crashing down tomorrow. That's not exactly. Yes. Do you meditate? I don't currently but I've I have gone through like patches where I would try to be consistent with it because it's nice When you like do it a couple times you're like okay, like I'm now I'm looking forward to that and then I don't know I just kind of fell off. I do want to go to one of those Things and not because I think it's gonna work for me But just because I want to see what it is. We're like I think they're called like sound baths or something like that We're like they like take a bowl and hit it with a metal thing and then just like wave it in front of you or something like that I got a massage. Where was I? I got a massage Oh when I was in Portugal and they were that was part of the massage. It was like a sound bath thing. Yo Yeah sound bath gets you. It's kind of fire really. It just feels like the vibrations are doing something dude like it's like Oh, I can't do a vibration sound, but you know what I'm saying like you know the sound when it hits like a Yeah, like that and it's like oh Like it feels good around my head. Ah, maybe we're all vibrating on frequencies. Yeah, we are Recently had someone tell me that like there's like a frequency to standing next to a b hive that makes it healing or something like that I don't know if I'm fully there tech technically. You could create a weapon that is the opposite of our frequencies And it could just like tear your atoms apart Poof. What is technically and what is anything you said? Like we're all vibrating at a frequency. So there's opposites of that So if you can like match the frequency and just like disrupt it. Oh, it's like it's like when you can the frequency to like shatter glass Yes, exactly like they can just find the free. We have that for a human. Yes, I guess you could technically it's called a 50-cal rifle That'll do it as well. Yeah, that will definitely explode as well I don't know I don't know if I subscribe to like the the like sound healing stuff like that. I definitely Believe and you'll know if I do because I will not shut up about it if I do I feel like you're not You're not open to those things because you don't it's like a hard thing It's like a blind faith that you kind of need yeah correct to be bought in absolutely like this logically has to make sense one But you don't you don't Do you believe in like Oh, we're talking about leave now. This is gonna sound so stupid, but do you believe in like energy? Everything's in it. I think in like a like not like electricity is energy. Yes, like I don't like I don't think of it in literal terms Like I don't think that as a human like if your life is going well You give off like a real actual energy that is going to attract or deter or repel excuse me like Good things happening to you. I actually do believe that yeah, yeah, I do I just think that like I think it's a mindset like you're more willing to like if your life is going better You're more willing to look at things as positively like I don't know if there is like a physical like tangible like measurable Like thing you know what I mean? I don't know how to say it, but don't you agree that there are some people that They light up a room almost you know, and it's not because they're doing a show or doing this like This whole thing. It's just there's just something about them. They're very likable They're very like well that deals with the charisma and like who that person is to you like but not always like I could say that about like Becca like legitimately like She lights up a room, but it's because of who she is to me. You know With right. I'm just two different points. Yeah, like I mean you're in love with your wife That I feel like is a different feeling that I'm describing I'm describing like just a person like a ran Not a random person, but like if we were all at aunt's house or something and There was a person who feels like oh this person is sort of like brought a different energy to this room now And it feels like different and it's a infected every but I feel like you get that by how that person acts So it's not like it's it's like it's not a metaphorical or like a quiet energy that this person It's like how they're conducting themselves and like how loud they are How playful they are but if my if my If my actions are having a real effect on your mood Is that not a form of like energy because I'm not like no because I haven't something to point to To say like that's a measurable thing It's what this person has done or is saying or has done or is doing that like Makes me feel uncomfortable. It's not like if we sat in a room together and neither of us talked I'd be like There's there's something in the air. That's just me like and it's the same with like crystals and I'm sure vibes What's that vibe they're just like it's vibes is just like again? That's like a that's like a personality thing like You could tell by like how like chill someone is and like what they're like how they're Actually acting And maybe I'm maybe I'm just being a big rough so do you think that being happy and being sad It's not like energy. It's just physical like I'm like I'm acting happy so I'm happy. I think that You're like how you choose to carry yourself depending on your mood is is giving off a Non-measurable like it's not like someone could say like the the electrons are more stiff in the air or something like that like Well, I don't even know if I'm if that's what I'm trying to say I just think that it's more than just like my action like if someone To him to think two people could do something the same thing But if someone has a different type of like vibe to it it feels different. Yeah, that's what they're doing though It's their approach to it is how they're conducting themselves like those are actually is that not like energy I guess I don't think of it that way, but I'm sure someone else would call it that It's just not how I approach it or think of it But like let me ask you this and and and I don't want to offend anyone, but like If I were to put it a rock down in front of you And just be like this gives off a very specific energy, right Do you subscribe to that or do you think because there are people that are that are firm belief of that like a crystal if I'm wearing a crystal Yeah, yeah, yeah I don't know enough. I think that I have heard of people
talking about crystals before. And some of that seems a little out there for me, but I'm open to the idea that, I mean, I 100% believe in like, if you're standing barefoot on the earth, that is doing something. - Of course. - Like I believe that. - That I believe, but I don't think that rock is like part of the earth. - But I think, yeah, but like. - So it makes sense. - I guess I think a bit in terms of like, if I'm sitting in a room and someone puts, you know, amethyst next to me, and it's like, this is giving off the energy of like, passion and love or whatever it may be. I don't think it's just a rock. - I don't think it's like that, but you know how like, lead can block a Wi-Fi signal kind of, like it can't pass through. - Yeah, but that's a, that's a physical, miserable thing. - I understand. - But like, can't other things possibly be blocked or opened up too? - But lead is not giving off something that is an energy. It is preventing because of how, to my understanding, and I'm not a scientist, actually I am closest to a scientist. - Right. - It's physical properties are preventing something. - So what if the crystal's physical properties it's just more conducive to certain, like. - And I guess that's possible, but like, how do physical properties give off confidence? - I'd see that, that I think is just like. - I think, but I think it's more nuanced than like, well, I'm not confident, I'm more confident, I'm holding the rock. - And yeah, maybe I'm, maybe I'm, you know, simplifying it to a disrespectful point. - No, I think that it's, and I don't say, again, I don't know enough, but I don't imagine that it's like, I will get results if I wear this. I don't think it's about that. I think it's more about like, to put it in video game terms. - Like monon. - Do you know, and like, you put, like, you're holding a shield, so it's gonna give you like, 10% more confidence. - 10% more confidence, yeah. - It's not like, this, changing of the, whatever, it's like, it's, it's, you know, slightly more helpful in the vibrations and whatever. - Yeah, I would say like, 0.01% of that's a difference. - If you were to say like, if you go into these minds in, you know, Tahiti or somewhere, and they're like, natural courts or whatever around you, I could see that in there being physically like, measurable because like, there is, there is a physical like, like, literal energy and electricity in the earth that is going through those things. But if you were to get it from a gift shop on the corner of fucking, you know, like J Street in downtown and say like, that's doing the same thing, I would just be like, - That, come on. - That's fine. Just where you're saying that, it does feel like you're like, right there. Like, you can make the jump though. If you believe in the cave around all these crystals is like, conducting energy at you, you could get there. Think about heat. - He is. - I mean, but that's what I'm saying. Like, that's where I could see like, if someone were to be like, let me show you how this is like an actual measurable thing. I would just be like, cool. And I'm also not one of those people, it's just like, you're crazy if you believe in that stuff. If you do, awesome. I just, for me, don't see, I would need to see like a study or something to be like, yeah, it is a real thing. Not like, you know, just like a little, it's a little woo woo for me. I think that's the best way to put it. - I got a question for you after we get to these last ads here. - Okay. - I love how we started about like pre-workouts cold blood. - Yeah, yeah. - You know, gorilla death. And now we're talking energy from crystals. - Yeah. Well, listen, we also have Zach Dock here. And lastly here, we have Kachava, okay? Kachava. This, and this has been, you know, in my apartment for years now. And I'm super hyped that they're a sponsor, 'cause you get these for free now. But Kachava, it's great. It's all the nutrition your body craves and one delicious simple shake. And nostalgia has a flavor, okay? And cinnamon French toast. If anyone knows anything about me is that, this right here is gonna be on my tombstone. This is my number one flavor of things. So the fact that they made this, it's like they're listening to me, my energy, and they know this is made for me. I will tell you transparently, any time Kachava comes in here, we fight over the flavors, 'cause of how good they are. And the minute we saw this flavor, we each have been like, who's taking it? It's unbelievable. This is made with real cinnamon bark, okay? So there is everything you need in here. With nutrients to support your energy, metabolism, cognition, digestion, strength, and immunity. This is what you need, ladies and gentlemen. There's other flavors as well. This is their new one. Okay, kachava.com spelled K-A-C-A-V-A.com slash basement, get that 50% off, 15% off your first order. Enjoy that, folks. Gotta make a cup of that. So here's my question for you. What happened to my laptop? - I saw it, I wasn't gonna stop it. - How do you feel about any of the astrology I am not bought in? - No, I'm not, I'm sorry. - Like, I just like, I can't. I just, I struggle. So I'll throw you a bone here. The part of it where it's like you're a very creative person or stuff like that. I'm not necessarily asking about that. I'm asking, do you think it's possible that there is some sort of connection to stars or the time you were born or any of those sorts of things? - I don't, I guess I am more inclined to say no because I feel like there's more reasons that that doesn't make sense to me than there is that it would make sense. - Why doesn't it? - I don't know, I guess I really am just not, I'm not bought in. So I'm not one of those people that's just gonna be like, oh, check out such a Leo, you know what I mean? Like, one of those people, and like, it almost feels like it sometimes takes responsibility away from people. Like, if they're acting like a character to put it mildly, where they'll just be like, well, they can't help themselves. It's an Aquarius. And it'd be like, well, or they're just not a good person. Like, I don't know if I am really in a position where I like see that stuff and I've seen enough evidence to be like, yeah. Do you know about the life number thing? - I've tried to look into that and I think it's way more interesting. - It is pretty interesting. Can you look it up and we can get Frank's and see this? - And just again, as I did mine and it's extremely accurate. - And again, like, it is not, we did an episode years ago on Astrology. I am not like poo-pooing the people that do believe this. That is cool, that is your thing. I just don't know if I can subscribe to it. - It's something like this, right? - Yeah, the life path number. But usually I have to, I'm probably-- - I think my sister-in-law said something about this to me and she told me my, I don't remember what it is. - Yeah, I honestly like, I don't know, but-- - Because for every three things that don't make sense, one makes sense and people are just like, "Huh, okay, that's spot-on." (laughing) - Put in, let's put in Frank's birthday, so put July-- - July 30th, 1992. - Okay, July 30th? - Yep. - That's 2026, sister. - All right. - 1992? - Dude, doesn't it depress you that you-- - Yeah, we're scrolling-- - We gotta scroll, bro. - We gotta scroll, bro. - You gotta scroll, bro. We gotta scroll. - This is a lot of years. - Okay. - Was it Thursday? - That's kind of wicked, isn't it? - Oh no. - Why would that be Thursday? - No, 'cause I thought, wait, never mind. Okay, you're for the builder. You are practical, disciplined and hardworking. You build lasting foundations through dedication. Let's go down. - That is so, like-- - Hold, there's more, there's more. - But before you go down, that's so like, it's so vague enough that it can work for anyone. - Okay. It's the most important number in numerology. Are you bought in? (laughing) - Where are we at? - How to calculate your life path number. All right, it's a free one. - Okay, so it's not gonna give a lot of-- - They make you pay for the moment. - Oh, do mine. - Do mine. - Like, okay.
February 25th, 1992, it was a Tuesday. - It's being born on a Tuesday. It's the most boring day of the week, I just wanna say that. - It's the day that I started posting on YouTube. - That's one of the most. - I am a three, the communicator. I'm creative, expressive, and socially gifted. Self-expression through art, writing, and speaking as you're calling. - I mean, self-expression through either art, writing, or the three forms of expression, you know what I mean? - Well, yeah, like that's what I'm saying. Like it's like you're either really good at writing, or speaking, or thinking, and it's like, yes, you know? - This is you? - The seeker, you're analytical, yeah, spiritual. - And introspective, truth and wisdom drive your journey. - Brother, I've seen you like-- - Say what's up, say what's up, talk shit. This actually said it was like you're analytical, spiritual, and you love Jameson? - Yeah. (laughing) - Say what's up, the seeker, seven life path. - I don't, I see like, that's what I'm saying. And I'm sure people are immediately gonna jump at this and be like-- - You're being pretty practical right now. - Yeah, pretty logical. - See, that's what I mean where it's just like, this doesn't sound like I need to be logical and practical, and it's like, oh, you're like-- - I wouldn't describe myself. - That's kind of like what conspiracy theorists do, where they'll be like, it's a conspiracy, and they'll be like, yeah, I don't know, it doesn't line up, they'll be like, that's what they want you to think. - Like the lack of an answer is enough of an answer. - I don't think so. - I don't know what this is, but I don't-- - Oh my God, dude, our comments are gonna be loaded with people like, please let me read you. - I would love for them to like, in-depth more into the number charts. - Would you be interested if we did like a tarot card reading? Or you're like, no, that would scare you. - Really? - I'm one of those people that like, I don't believe, but I also, I believe enough to not fuck with it. 'Cause like, I'll get like the one where it's like, you're gonna die today. - Oh my God, you got the black death. (laughing) - But like, there's also like, with tarot cards, so my understanding, and I don't wanna like, upset any like, tarot card readers that are watching this. Like, it's not only about the cards you get, but it's the placement, it's the way it comes out, if it's left or right or up or down or up. - I think they're all kind of connected and, you know. - I don't know, man, again, that's one of those things that like, I don't know if I'm bought in, but I'm also bought in just the small amount to not even fuck with it. - It's a lot of fun tarot cards. - Like a Ouija board. - You've done tarot cards? - Yeah, a bunch of times. It's a lot of fun. - I've had them red once. - One time it wasn't fun. - I don't remember what any of it said. - There was one, like, she was flipping them, and she was like, this last card is very important. I was like, what does that mean? - Yeah, like, I just, I don't know. Like, again, I don't, like, I'm really trying to specify that I'm not trying to be disrespectful, 'cause I don't want anyone to put like a hex on me or something, but like, I just, I can't, I am not in touch with any spirituality. - Yeah. - To like, are you open? - By, I guess. - It doesn't sound like you are. - No, I am. I'm saying, like, I'm not like a, one of those people, it's just like, that's all stupid, that's ridiculous. I'm not gonna, if you believe it, you're an idiot. I'm just like, not, not that. - I am definitely not that. - You're not not. - I am not. - You just shit it on all that. - I didn't shit on it. I just said, I don't know. - You said, I don't wanna offend people. But like, yeah, you see, this could be anything. But like, that is just pointing out, like, if something is general, like, so general. Like, that's my issue with it. Is not that, I think that if you subscribe to it, you're an idiot. - Well, it's for everyone in the world, Frank. It can't be specific to Frank Alvarez. - I mean, but I know that they also get down to like, where we, when you were born, where you were born, what was the rising moon, the setting Venus, where is Mercury and retrograde? Like, it gets so specific that it is almost basically, down to the minute that you as an individual were born. - I believe in a number thing way more than a star thing. - Than a star thing, because like, math and science, like if we lost every book we've ever had, we'll have a math textbook again eventually. Like, all the formulas and calculations are in the universe, they just exist. They just have to be found. But the problem with this is like, with the calendar, we made the calendar. - Right. - That's the only thing about me. But that was such an awesome thing to hear on this show of all shows. All the formulas in the world exist, we just have to find them. - That's true. - It's true, honestly. - Like, if all the books we've ever made were burnt, a math textbook will come again. Same exact way. - But what is it, why are you saying that? - Because it's just the math, math and science is just, it is what it is. - It's just here. It's just about how you get to the answer. - Math. - Yes. - Like, gravity will always be, - Oh, careful. - Because there are people that don't agree with that. - But like, Newton's law will always be that 'cause that's just the calculation. It's what, which is what weight does in the world. - God, I got it, God, I see what you're saying. - Correct. - Like, honestly, and I know you might, like, fucking punch my ass for this one, but like, that's why I loved mathematics so much. And because it is what it is. - Full name, oh. - You can't, first and last. - Yeah, I'm giving the government a name. - That's why I love mathematics. - Like, mathematics, there is, it is what it is. There is nothing you could do. Like, it's just like, it's completely, and like, sometimes it could be two things, but it is just those two things. Or like, sometimes it could be like pie where it's like, it's everything, but nothing. - It really makes sense why you would like math. - I was recruited to be a logical and practical. It is what it is. - Oh, there's an answer. - That's what we're doing. - There's nothing for me to blindly believe and I need an answer right now. - I mean, but there's also people that are born at the same time as me that don't feel that. And like, our forves that are just not like that. I just, yeah, maybe not through it all, like, I mean, I don't really know. I'm not really a well-versed in any of it, but I imagine there are some people that are like, this really does speak to me. - No, I know. And that's, if that's for them, cool, fine. It's just not for me. - It's a carocard reader in here. - Ah, all you brother. - Oh, you can do this. - What are you afraid of? - What are they gonna say? - I just don't know, like they scare me a little bit. - But that requires belief. - A little bit. - That's why I said, I have the smallest amount of belief to not fuck with it, like a Ouija board. - Well, that sounds like more than belief. - No. - It's just like, I'm not playing with it. - But if I-- - I've seen enough horror movies for like the guy that's just like, this is all garbage and then they get mulled by ghost. - But you don't think that's gonna happen. - It's a good point. - It's also not gonna happen. That's not what it is. - I'm just not, I am, like I said, enough. There is the smallest amount of belief that is enough for me to not fuck with it. - It doesn't curse you. - You never know. - If anything, it'll tell you you have a curse, which is helpful. - Right. - And then what, you had a curse. Now what do I do? - That being aware is good. - Yeah. - Oh, I'm aware of a curse. - Yeah, that's almost worse. - I mean, if you're a curse. - Like this guy, and that shitty is curse ever. (all laughing) - They did a bad joke. - Honestly, I'd be like, "Curse me more." (all laughing) - Oh yeah, 'cause your life is so hard. - I'm not the one saying it. - Yeah, that's right. - I'll do one. - Yeah, I mean. - You'll do it. You do it for Joe show. What you do, you can do it for that. We don't need to put it on you. - It's so funny that you're afraid of it. - I'm not afraid, I just don't, you're afraid. - I just don't want to fuck with it. - That's fear. - I'm not afraid of sharks. But I also am not gonna fuck with it if the opportunity presented itself. - You're describing fear. - No, it's not. Fear is like, it's like, I'm scared. - Consistently like, oh, avoiding. I'm not avoiding, I'm just not presenting the opportunity to be around it. - Fear is almost like you won't go too far in the ocean 'cause you don't want to see anything. - I went into the ocean. - Too far, I said. - He went up to his knee. - I went far enough. - He snorkeled and screamed. - I breathed like a bastard. - Let me tell ya. - All right. - Yeah. - Well, I'll get the tarot card reader in here. We'll just, we'll just, we'll just get someone up here. You want to know they'll just pop up. - That would be worse, dude. I would just sit here and just be like, yo, I'm not contributing. That would be the worst episode of our show. - You're just not gonna contribute? - Well, you don't have to do anything. - If you had a tarot card reader in here to do your cards in front of me, fine. But I'm not just, I'll be like, yo, respectfully. Keep me out of it. - This is so funny. - It is because that's like, I mean, the equivalent is like, if you got a cockroach and threw it on me and over here you're like, don't read my tarot card to me. - I just, I feel like it'd be an invasion of privacy. Like, it'd be like, don't tell me my tarot cards. Dude, don't look at my cards. - It sounds like you believe pretty heavily. - Again, I believe to the point, like, if I hear it going on, I'm just like, that's nonsense. But I believe enough that I'm not gonna invite the opportunity into my life. - It's not there, you have everything. - You're afraid to learn. - Yes. Ooh, you got me. That sounds like a real number four. - That sounds like a real thing for a therapist, honestly. - Oh, no, I mean, it's not that deep. - It's not about it being deep, just about. - Oh, I need to, this is the part of the episode on the monthly basis where you tell me I need therapy. - Yep. (laughing) Not only that, but now I'm going to do something that is probably very ill-advised and surprise you with the tarot card. - Oh, yeah, I thought someone was walking out right now. I was gonna be like, "And here she is, Madame Zaroni." - I'm terrified at that one day. You're just gonna, like, spring something upon me during an episode or some shit like that. - No. - It's like, "Here, you hate snakes?" Well, bring in the cobra. - No, dude, I don't like snakes. - I mean, I'm okay with snakes, but I'm telling you. - I wouldn't want a cobra here. - I'm telling you, right now, open that door. I'm bringing in centipedes for you.
I'm okay with Santa Feeds. Just not all over me. I'm bringing in I'll lock you in a pod and I'll fucking dump a Santa Feeds on you dump us out of feets Okay, so no tower cards. I'm not gonna force it upon you Is there anything else spiritual that I could force upon you though? Yeah, I don't like how you're doing this dude, which part? The shoving your spirituality in me. Yeah, yeah, I Don't know it's your advice. It's not nice. I'm asking if I can I Don't want it It's not nice It's not yeah, I'm not doing anything dude relax. I'm there's no one here school is trying to turn me turn you into what a Spiritual guy. I'm not trying to make you a spiritual. Are you in you want someone to come in here and read your cards? I think it would be fun. It is fun. I don't think it's gonna go the way you think you think that they're gonna be like This is like it's not Harry Potter. I will be very aware of every like I twitch they have and like every like They're not gonna be like you know what the Harry I just watched it the other day But when she like they have like coffee cups and she's like oh, yeah, she's like you've got the black death or whatever Fuck she says Yeah, no, I'm gonna be like that you would see like it's like in a cup of tea you could see like some did like evil shit I don't flip it over and be like oh, it's a thousand swords like and yeah, and I'd be like what the fuck is that? Yeah, I mean, I don't know because it sounds cool. I'd love a thousand swords. I do remember when I got my tarot cards red There was one that flipped over and I'm like that sick and she's like, oh, I don't think oh, okay Like they all look like like they're like an old school style where like they look like the arch They artistry behind it is cool. Yeah, but then you like it's like oh, that's the maiden and it's like what the fuck does that mean? Yeah, it's not good. Yeah. Yeah. I love how they're like so random.
