If you're a coach or you have any kind of service-based business, or even if you're
selling products for B2B for other businesses, and you haven't figured out how to use a LinkedIn
to bring a constant inflow of clients to your business, then stay tuned.
You're going to learn four methods to start signing clients for your business or even
make sales for your B2B business without going into the feast and famine cycles or without
depending on referrals from other people.
So I'm sure you know that nowadays a business without social media presence is not going
very far, right?
You'll get clients, you'll get one client here, one client there, you have your friends
who refer some clients to you, you have some conversations and you get a few coaching clients
or whatever other business you have.
But the problem is that this is not constant, you're constantly going up and down, but it
doesn't need to be that way.
In fact, LinkedIn is responsible for initiating at least 80% of all B2B deals that happen
online on social media.
So if you think a lot of people are making a lot of money on Instagram or Facebook or
even TikTok, think again, because when it comes to selling business to business, LinkedIn
is responsible for initiating 80% of those deals.
So I've been building my business through LinkedIn and helping clients and other people
build their businesses using LinkedIn as the primary source to reach out to new people.
For over a year, I've been interviewing experts on this podcast and I've had two amazing
co-hosts with different expertise and I'm going to share four of these, four of the
most efficient strategies to start building your business through LinkedIn.
You can take some pieces of one and use with the other one all of these work and you can
start signing clients next week with some of these strategies.
So number one here is content plus conversations and what do I mean with this and you're going
to see if you start engaging with people on LinkedIn, if you get on LinkedIn, you're going
to start seeing everybody talking about building your personal brand, creating content, being
visible.
So being visible is the first step to build any successful business online these days,
right?
So you need some visibility.
You don't need hundreds of thousands of followers.
Sometimes a hundred followers is enough.
I've signed clients through this podcast, which doesn't have immense amount of downloads.
Most of my clients are signed through LinkedIn content and I don't get thousands or hundreds
of thousands or tens of thousands of impressions.
Each of my posts gets hundreds of impressions.
So it's easy.
You can do it and you can do it really quickly.
And when you start publishing content, focus on what your audience wants to read.
And you don't need to be a copywriter.
You don't need to be a ghostwriter.
Don't fall for that trap.
Obviously, when you open your LinkedIn account and you start scrolling through the feed,
the most prominent content you're going to find is ghostwriters selling their services.
So they're going to try to convince you that you need ghostwriting services.
You don't.
You can learn this yourself.
It's very easy.
You just need to sum up your content very, very strategically.
Talk about the pain points of your audience.
And once you know who your ideal client is, and if you've had any clients in the past,
all you have to do is think about who have you worked with?
Who have you helped in the past that you would love to work with every day?
That's the person you're going to target.
So everyone else that you will attract will be as similar to that person as possible with
the words that you put onto the feed with everything you post, because you're focusing
on this one person.
You're focusing on helping this one person.
If you've had any clients in the past, you also know what they struggled with.
I'm going to give you a couple of hacks to find this out.
If you're coaching clients, download a tool called Fathom, F-A-T-H-O-M.
And this is an AI tool that will record your coaching sessions, and it will summarize your
coaching sessions.
You can then input that summary or even the transcript into chat GPT and ask, find whatever
this person is struggling with the most.
And then with that, you can just grab it.
If you haven't heard of hooks, it's basically the first line of your posts on LinkedIn.
It's what attracts, makes people want to read more.
With those struggles, when you speak about them, that's all you have to do.
And then you very quickly, in a very summarized way, explain how to solve that problem.
You know it, you're the expert, so it's very easy for you.
All right, so that's your content.
Now, how do you make your content be visible?
And I've tested, I've worked with data analysts, we've tested extensively.
There's many ways to be seen on LinkedIn, but there's only one way at this moment, and
I'm going to share later on, I'm going to share a little algorithm update that might
change this a little bit, but right now, the fastest, most efficient way to get people
to see your content is to engage with other people.
In other words, to comment on other people's posts.
What happens is, every time you engage with someone else's post, and they engage back
with you, so if they reply to you, this is going to sign to the algorithm, and your publication
is going to be seen by these people, right?
Almost certainly.
What you'll have to do here is make sure that the people you're engaging are the right one,
so that they match your ideal client profile.
As I mentioned before, you want these people to be the right ones, don't just engage with
people who are going to engage back, not out of reciprocity.
I'm not saying you cannot have some people that you engage with, that you like their
content, but the majority of your engagement of your comments should be dropped on accounts
that are active, but that match your ideal client profile, or the person in charge of
the company who you offer services to.
This is one, this is what you have to do about content, and this is method number one, content
plus conversation.
What I mean with conversations is these comments.
There's one other thing that you should know, that apart from the public comments that you
leave on other people, there's another thing that actually shows your content to someone.
When you open a DM and you start a conversation with someone, they're going to see your, that's
almost 100% assured, they're going to see your content or your post in their feed.
This is how the algorithm works.
If you want to use it, start doing this and you're going to see a very quick growth in
your account.
Now, let's move to strategy number two is worm outreach.
Worm outreach, this is not my favorite, but it works.
The fastest to sign a client is worm outreach.
What I'm talking about called worm outreach is not called, so you're not just going to
reach out to people who never heard of you.
As you start posting content and you're engaging with other people, if you've had a conversation,
an engagement publicly on the feed, whether it's in your content or in their content,
they've started to see you.
You're not a nobody or an unknown person to them anymore.
Now they know who you are, they've seen you, they're warmer to a conversation with you.
And once you reach out and you send them a direct message, these people are going to
be very primed to engage in a conversation.
The reply rate of this type of outreach is very high, so preferably, and if you're already
at a place to do this, you would reach out to people who have visited your profile, who
have engaged with any of your publications.
So if they liked or commented on your post, you open the conversation with them and talk
about it.
If you want to know the exact script of conversations that convert 25% of these conversations into
sales, just look for it here.
We'll, I'll leave a card to an episode where we break down the strategy and Dana explained
exactly the strategy to get up to 25% conversion rate of these conversations into a sales call.
So that's where I'm outreach.
People who have seen you before, you reach out to them, you start a conversation and you
try to get them on a discovery call.
This is much easier than you think.
And all you have to do is follow the script in the, in that video that, that I mentioned.
It's the most efficient, the fastest way to start signing clients.
Now number three, this is my personal favorite is content plus email.
It gets a bit complicated now, but it's not as hard as most people think.
So your content is starting to reach some people.
And if it's not, the strategy works alternatively and that, that will be number four.
Number three is once your content is reaching some people, you have some, you don't need
a lot, hundreds of views on your, on your posts.
And I have 200, 300 out of which I book two, three sales calls per week from my content
from 200, 300 impressions.
It doesn't go over 600, I tell you on each post.
So I do very little engagement in this way content plus email.
What you're going to do is on each of your posts or the majority of them, you offer a
related resource that helps them solve a problem that you know they have.
They are your ideal client.
You already know who they are, you know, the problems they have, and there will be resources
that you use to help out your clients in your daily work and your, with the service that
you offer, with the coaching that you offer, or even if it's a product, you can still give
a free resource that leads to the, to the purchase of, of that product.
Right.
So now what you do is every time you publish or most of the times you mention, I have this,
do you have this problem?
Here's how to solve it, go and download it.
This leads them to your email list and you're going to receive them with a welcome sequence
that starts to nurture them and bring them closer to you and tries to get them on a sales
call.
This is completely automated.
This is my system.
This is how I book two, three sales calls per week.
On average, they, sales calls just appear on my calendar.
I, I do nothing but post content.
If you want to see the breakdown of this system, again, look over here in the cards and you're
going to find a video where I break down this entire strategy as well.
Now, number four, this is the last one that I'm going to share with you today and it's
basically the same as number three, but easier.
So even if you're not posting content right now, or if you just started posting content
and your content is reaching very few people, it has one like two likes and so people aren't
subscribing to your email list.
What you're going to do is a mix of number two and number three.
So basically you have your resource to give to people.
You're going to reach out to them and this works especially if you are like me and you
don't like to pitch services, you don't like to just try and get sales done, you know?
So what you do is you're going to offer to help them, right?
So you, you reach out to them, you started a conversation and you say, oh, by the way,
are you struggling with this?
If you are, I have not pitching anything.
I have something here for free to give you.
So then you, you just ask them, would you like it?
Yes, I would.
I use this with one of my clients, exceptional results.
I signed the five-figure deal last quarter using this strategy.
So basically you just tell, you just send the resource at the end of this resource,
depending on how you format it, it can be a PDF, it can be, it depends on what you're
giving.
At the end, you always send them to a call with you.
They might go, they might not go, but you follow up through email.
All of these emails are automated and they, they are now primed.
They know that you are an expert because you offered this specific solution to things
can happen.
One, they see that you're the expert and you can offer the solution, even though they
have the, how to, in front of them, they don't have the time.
They don't have, they don't have the expertise to do it themselves.
So they decide to hire you or two, they have the solution that you gave them.
They can do it themselves.
They will choose to do it themselves, but you can offer the next step.
So for every solution, there's a new problem that comes up.
And once that happens, your emails again will follow up and we'll tell them, hey, if now
after you, you fixed that, now you're experiencing this, I can help you with that.
So that's number four.
And now, as I promised, there's a rumor going around that LinkedIn is going to start limiting
comments on other people's posts.
I don't know if this is true or not, to 30 a day, if this happens, what's going to
happen, it's going to bounce the scales a lot for most of us.
Because there are big accounts who have VA's doing this, who have pods, engagement pods.
These are huge groups of people massive that comment on each other's posts just for distribution.
So people like you and me, we don't, that choose not to do this 30 comments per day is more
than enough.
Actually, with 15 comments, I do maybe two, three comments.
And just because they appear on my feed in the 10 minutes that I'm on LinkedIn.
If you do 10 to 15 comments per day, your content will be distributed.
Just make sure that you're doing it on the right accounts, which is your ideal client
profile.
All right.
So this is what I have for you.
