#36 Make Your Bed

The transcription features a casual conversation among multiple speakers, touching on personal anecdotes and broader life philosophies. A key theme is the frustration of being misgendered over the phone, particularly when voices are perceived as feminine. Speakers recount incidents where they were called "ma'am" despite not having particularly high-pitched voices, highlighting the awkwardness and embarrassment of such moments. The discussion shifts to the habit of making one’s bed, which one speaker advocates as a transformative daily practice. He argues that making the bed provides an immediate sense of accomplishment, serving as a "checkpoint" that can improve one’s day even when things go poorly. The conversation also critiques the common male tendency to overestimate fighting ability, with speakers noting that most people lack real combat experience. They propose that anyone claiming they can beat someone in a fight should be required to actually fight. Lighter topics include selling items online (with caution about sharing addresses), a fossil tooth from a shop in St. Augustine, and a brief debate about the correct pronunciation of "errand." The overall tone is informal and humorous, blending self-reflection with everyday observations.

I moved on me. I'm the one that moved him into the bathroom. That's Speaker 1 fine. The oh, yeah, if you guys are interested, remember the interested you want? Some sobs Betty got two guys, now that are interested. Well, anyways, I was Speaker 3 texting a guy and I don't know a lot about them because I haven't want to haven't used them in a long time into. I got them when I was like, 16, I guess which was a long time ago and I just don't notice anything about that stuff to begin with. And so I just basically said like, hey, I don't know a lot about this but like you're welcome to come check it out. Speaker 2 Has anyone showed up at the house yet? No, Speaker 1 and that I'm not giving out our address Speaker 3 anymore. I did that once. And I just don't think that I've done it. It's Speaker 2 scary. I've had people, I have the amount of people I've had in this house to buy some. Yeah, and stay for conversation Speaker 1 that like, dude, we're too trusting. Where way dude. Speaker 2 I know. I know. I don't think I Speaker 1 Never once it something bad happen. Speaker 3 I know me either. I'm just it's bound to Speaker 2 happen. The guy who bought. My drone is talking to me about how he like fishes illegally and, like, some Hidden Speaker 3 Ponds. And Speaker 2 he, I think with, I want to say, he both fish is in these pawns. I don't know, but it was like a legal when he was telling me. Yeah, blatantly illegal. So but nice guy. Hey, nice guy, Speaker 1 which goes back to do, Speaker 2 Troy, Troy and practice. We're doing a Why set in goes out of Julian? He goes Julian, did Big J. Yeah, bitch. Yeah. Speaker 1 Tough Big Jay. He's one. Is that that Sun Devil? Oh, Speaker 2 yep, that's fun devil. He goes, he is nice guys, right guy. Good-looking guy, too. Yes. Good looking guy. He goes Julian. Speaker 1 You're the worst flight. Excuse me. Join your the worst flyer here. You're not bad because through in that you're not bad. Just the worst one here. So Speaker 3 technically is that true worse than Enzo, you think? Speaker 2 It's not great. He's not good at fly. Speaker 1 Maybe know. There's two sides of the pool and he was at the big boy Speaker 2 end. Yeah, and so is that the Sprint end, so I think that might have been why we didn't we do soccer. Pretty good. Flyers nine group, dude. Speaker 4 So yeah. Hmm. Speaker 2 All right. Let me just show it off real Speaker 3 quick so we can yeah, go ahead Hungry shop. I thought Eureka for my fire extinguisher. Speaker 2 I got a Megalodon tooth in st. Augustine. I didn't find it. I just got it. Five million years old. Doesn't think it's real but it was from a river found in Florida. I don't know the name of the river, but it's like a fossil shop down George Street and st. Augustine. Super hype. But yeah, my back went on to so pretty huge Flex to be quite honest. So we're adding it Speaker 3 to the vehicle was real, that's cool to the collection Speaker 2 piece. Anything. You want to stick over there, Speaker 1 anything you just shatters? Absolute Absolute Glass and then you are Sheriff. For I freaking start ripping. You apart. My first topic here. Speaker 3 No, please. I'm so anxious to hear what you have to say. I'm about to call you out. Oh my God. Speaker 1 Alright, I've noticed, your room has Speaker 2 been very cleanly. Okay, like Speaker 3 thought that was going to be bad thing. Speaker 2 No, I didn't say it was gonna be bad. Just going to call you out. There's a call-out. Have to be bad. Well, Speaker 3 you said I'm going to start ripping you apart in a second. Speaker 2 Is that a negative connotation? Speaker 3 I think so. Okay. I think you and I can I agree that there's a negative Speaker 1 connotation. There's such a skeptic. Okay, y'all thought it was like, oh, I don't want to get Speaker 2 into it on the podcast sheep. Okay, so I want to talk about. I need you to talk about the importance of making a freaking bed, dude, because every time I see your room, every Speaker 1 time I see a room, we, I just want to touch on topics that were big in the beginning. In case people are joining us Speaker 2 late. I think maybe you're better something and change your life and I noticed, Every time I walk by her room, your bed is to me. Dude. I make that it's made. You do make a bad bad. I think. Making your bed is something that can change your Speaker 1 life. Is that something that you did before? Speaker 2 We had that legendary talk with Troy? Yes. Wait, Speaker 1 when we were in it was like first or second, you know, it wasn't so you never met job. You talking about the with Lieutenant? Frick frick frick, Speaker 2 heat, the Texas, Lieutenant Dan, the Texas commitment specie. I read his book. Sure called make your bed. Literally. I read a book on making your bed. That's how into this I am. Speaker 3 So, but before that you never were a guy freshman year, I didn't I've always been that guy. Think that's that's why it hasn't really changed my life so much, but I definitely agree that it's like, Speaker 2 well, how terrible would it be if you stopped making your bed, maybe that's what you should look at Speaker 3 if I have to like You know, there are days where I'm like just an absolute panic and it doesn't happen often. But if I leave and my beds not made, I Speaker 2 you'll be late as and show you. You will leave without making the Speaker 3 bed. I don't like to. But it mean every once in a while to Speaker 2 happen. It's rare. I walk by her room in the beds, not made. That's what I'm saying. I'm just saying Speaker 3 it every once in a while. If that does happen, I think about it all day. Speaker 1 Really? Yeah guys. This is Speaker 2 important stuff. As you can hear the sheer panic and Ben's voice over Speaker 3 here. And as I'm saying this, I'm like, did I make my bed today? But of course, Speaker 2 I did all the days where I have to get up early like if Megan's night with me. Yeah. First of all, I'll literally leave my I love you. Don't forget to make the bed. Wow, I'll dude, and she does make it but like she Speaker 1 knows it's very important. So I guess we should get into maybe Speaker 2 why? Why is Speaker 3 it important? Yeah, Speaker 1 I think I think for me Speaker 2 I think the biggest thing is throughout the day you have throughout the day with your routine. You'll have little check marks. That's the very first one I do. That's one tat. The very first task I do in the days, make my bed. Yeah, and that's one thing you've already accomplished. You have the worst day ever. That's one thing you can already accomplished check off the list. And you have these little checkpoints, which I think guide you through the day. That's why I think a routine is such a beautiful thing because it keeps you in check. So maybe you're going like Yes, you're going down. And then you hit one of those little checkpoints you have in your routine. Then you shoot back up. You could keep having a crappy day. But either way, it will be going up and down rather than just straight down. That's why I think the checkpoints are beneficial for such as making your bed taking your supplements or me knows. I'm taking your mean as dude. I take my mean as before every freaking practice now and I've been cranking and I really Speaker 1 don't want to admit that it's aminos. Speaker 3 Yeah, but I dude I don't want it to be. That's who's a guy who stays on top of you about that. Speaker 2 You do and but you hate, you literally hate supplements, so, Speaker 1 I don't hate you. And one other guy keeps me in Speaker 2 check with my are there. Yeah, they're guy. Here's another guy. Speaker 3 We are very consistently on top of Speaker 2 you about it. Yeah, it like subconsciously and for the better. Look at Ya, look at me, dude. What are? What are some other things for you? At least besides making the BET guys, if you don't check lists. Yeah. If you don't make your bed, you're listening this. Stop listening to it and go make your bed, and then come back. Speaker 1 If you start made your bed, then, don't ever Speaker 2 ever. Think about talking to me and Ben. Again. Speaker 3 Don't ever talk to me again. I don't know. What's a Speaker 1 different? Put your mind ever? Put your mouth on the mic? Because I find it Speaker 2 so reassuring Speaker 1 because you can't see what I'm doing. Speaker 3 Like they're things that I do consistently every Speaker 2 day. It's got to be like a chore. Can't be like I drink a coffee. All right, were you going to say that as I'm slamming a coffee right now at 5 p.m. Speaker 3 Anything? Sometimes, I sometimes if I have a lot of coffee, have to go to the bathroom more than once in the morning. So Speaker 2 more than once in the morning, Speaker 3 it's happened. Yeah, recently. Wow, so I don't know if that's really where you were going with that. Speaker 2 But now I like that. I like that. Speaker 1 I think the main thing, I Speaker 2 think why it might be hard to think of something is the you make a bed every morning. No matter what's on Speaker 3 the agenda, like, really something. I'm like to make my bed today or like, even then. I thought about it Speaker 2 many men that it's all I live. Just Speaker 3 something that happens. Without even knowing dude, you just Speaker 2 take pride in that be like I just accomplished something that you think about it. I love. I love making my bed. Yes. Speaker 3 I don't ever think about I'll make mine is why I think that I've done it my whole life because I'm That kind of person. Like, I'm just working a lot more organized. I got it's hard for me to in my nature. It's hard for me to like, leave a room and have it Messier with. So it's just like, it's that AI for you. Yes. It's definitely a. I, but for you, it's you kind of had to bike trainer. Speaker 2 So I did, I did. But I still to this day and like, when I make my bed, I'll do. I'll take a look at it and be like, wow, I feel like I've already accomplished something amazing today, and then go absolutely eat. Heard it practice. But still be like, yo, Troy, I made my bed. So like it's fine. Yeah, I think, I think it changes every day with what we do as well. Like I have a different checklist every day. Make my bed is always on a checklist but like, I might have to run a different erendor errand. There's an errand Speaker 1 with the D. There's a d, Speaker 2 Aaron never said that. So, I'm going to say Aaron, I said are end there as a I got tongue-tied right? Errand, Aaron really so different days. I might have different errands. Speaker 3 I was wrong. I think you're wrong. You're saying, Speaker 2 I think you're wrong. How Oh, really Speaker 1 Journey. That's an I'm going to run an errand, a short Journey, Lord of the Rings, dude. Yeah, they were just running errands in Lord of the Rings. Speaker 2 A short Journey undertaken in order to deliver a collect something, especially on someone else's behalf. Speaker 1 That's literally Lord asking, Lord. That's the plot of Speaker 2 learning Board of the errands. Speaker 1 That's what they were wearing. The ring, the errand of the Rings dude. That's what I heard. They were gonna name it, but they they went with Lord or something Speaker 3 stupid and they had to settle for something else because An errand is just Much Too Short. Speaker 2 Yeah, that might be the only edges, the moving images. Aaron. Speaker 1 It's got all the like Hobbits and Frodo in the front. Speaker 3 You don't last time I watch Lord of the Rings. Speaker 2 Hmm. I tried to watch it with Megan. We actually started like two months ago. We like watch 20 minutes of the first Speaker 3 half. That's so weird. I did the, you Speaker 1 know, did you actually like a month ago Speaker 3 and look with kelp Hodge? Yeah, we would have. Watch all three in a row. What? I wouldn't have been for her Speaker 1 soul of those. It was very well. I'll watch it with you. Speaker 3 That's fine. I'll do that all Speaker 2 day. Okay, I didn't know that. I know you were that into it. Speaker 3 For some reason. It just makes me happy. I like those mood. Speaker 2 Lord of the Rings. I'll watch learnings with you. Okay, Frank. Yeah, because I think I need a recap. I haven't watched in a while. Speaker 3 There's so Speaker 2 good. Let me let me get off this frickin bed topic. Yeah, guys, make your Speaker 1 bed. Frodo yelling Speaker 2 think he yells Gandalf, at some candles Speaker 4 and now Speaker 1 I had a sword when I was a kid Speaker 3 Frodo's. Yeah. Oh the one that glows Speaker 2 blue. Yeah. SEC is plastic, but Speaker 3 sick. Yeah, that is actually really cool. You know, who he ends up, actually. Sam ends up. Slang. Speaker 4 Shelob, Speaker 2 dude, that little I Speaker 1 forget I saw the only reason I knew that I sold the I saw Speaker 2 in your eye, what you're about to say. And I went back to like episode that 12 or something like that. Dude. Yeah, it was early on was that is obviously it's well, I'm insane. Speaker 3 Try to look it Speaker 2 up now now because I am not Speaker 3 what we're talking about. Make your Speaker 1 bad guys. Make your freaking bad. Look, it's the first thing you get done throughout the day. You already got one thing accomplished at the day and it's about creating a momentum. And if you have Worst day ever. The Speaker 2 worst day ever. You could have come home to a nice clean Speaker 3 bed. Yeah, you know what? Like, that's definitely true because Are the days where you feel like lazy and like let's say you don't do anything one day like you don't have practice or whatever and you're just laying around. Do you most likely feel like if you if you get to the end of the day, I'm like, wow, I didn't do anything today. You probably didn't make Speaker 2 your bed pride and make your bed either. Speaker 3 I don't know. It's just one of those things. It's like, it's like the Domino. It's like a domino effect. If you don't do that. One thing. It's hard to. Speaker 2 Whoa. I like Speaker 3 that. It's hard to really like get Speaker 2 going. I think it goes. It can be a bad or a good domino effect. Because once you make your freaking bed, then you're like, oh, I'm gonna brush the crap out of my teeth. I'm going to poop the poop everywhere. In this toilet and I'm going to I'm going to leave early for practice get there on time like fresh. Yeah my yeah some Speaker 3 s that Stanley this that Stanley. Whoo. Yeah some of this dude. Speaker 2 I mean, it's domino effect. Choice is yours. Which Domino which side your dollar is going to fall on? Whoa. King of Spades. Yeah, freck. All right. Let me call out all of the male population. Okay. You ever notice how at make your freaking bed? I'm done Joe. Okay, I'm not not doing it all. Now. I'm just pissed is I'm about accomplishing a task. Make your bed or alright, stop. Okay, you ever notice how every every male ever? Besides me. Yeah. Yeah. Thanks. Thanks. That they can fight Speaker 1 you notices every got. Dude. I would have punched him in the face. You can actually fight. So yeah, so everyone except me in bed would be no big deal. I'm not about a gate keep this. I mean, I've even done this, everyone's like do no. No, guy Speaker 2 really knows how to fight. Speaker 1 Except if you actually fight Speaker 3 trained to fight, or Speaker 2 yeah, been in a lot of Speaker 1 fights. Yes, like, no, I mean, everyone Speaker 2 knows like, You some of this, some of that and then you taught Speaker 1 you, you know, you know what to do, but no one really Speaker 2 knows. Yeah. What to Speaker 3 do. So don't know what it feels like to get punched in the face. We'll just right Speaker 2 here. Yeah. So yeah exactly. I don't know. I've never you have been in a, I've never been Speaker 3 like punched in the face or Speaker 2 I never been punched in the face. I've been pie. I mean, I've been body shots. I've been punched a couple back. But yeah, the punch. ADI. The like I've never been in a real fight. Yeah, I don't know. But stock guys, guys. Stop. Don't act like you can fight. Yeah, stop it. And Speaker 1 dude. There's a new rule, if you Speaker 3 catch yourself or somebody saying that you could beat somebody in a fight or something like that. You have to fight Speaker 1 them. Yes. Speaker 3 Yes, you have to at least try Speaker 2 bet. I'm betting money right now. There's a guy in the comment section. Dude. I can totally fight and then he's here. He's like, oh, oh, he had to stop me. Comment, believe it or not to say it about you Speaker 1 doing talking, totally beat. Someone's gonna comment, they can beat Speaker 3 us up. I mean, I Speaker 2 could be me up. I don't know a lot, I would be willing to Speaker 3 bet. Over. Speaker 4 I don't know. Speaker 3 I want to say half, but I don't feel like half maybe, like, 40% of the population hand fight, and beat me up. Oh, could be. Oh, yeah. Well, population, ya eatin women. I would say, maybe 30% Speaker 2 20%, I bet 30 percent of girls can. But, you know, it's very humbling is every, every girl ever, that's in boxing kickboxing or MMA or UFC can beat me Speaker 3 up. It's not even Speaker 2 close. No, it wouldn't. No. No not at all. Like if you know the technique What to do. Like, I don't know. There was. What fight was it? I think it was a fight with, like, Rhonda. I think like, a lot of comments like, oh, I could beat her at night. You can't. Yeah, there's no, there's no chance that you can beat a professional fighter up guy, or girl like, there's just no way it would be bad. I think it'd be worse because I would try. Oh, try really hard and it just be worse. That are, you would like have a Speaker 3 little bit of Reserve because you'd be like, how do I want to do? That's menu again. Just absolutely destroyed even more. Speaker 2 Yeah, maybe, I'll, I'm gonna say that. Speaker 3 Yeah. I wish there was a way to like, do it, but they're not really be any risks involved. Yeah, like they numb you or something or like, you're not going to get arrested Speaker 2 for it. Oh, I mean, I'll fight Speaker 3 you if you're like him. Speaker 2 Well, oh, dang it. We just made that rule to where you've we say that. We have to do it. They'll be our next video is just me and been fighting Speaker 1 is that legal? Keep posted on YouTube Speaker 3 fights? I think there's I think you can but there's going to be some kind of age restriction. Sometimes you get in those those rhythms, you know, everybody dies. We're just watching videos of people getting in fights and that's Speaker 2 It's got out of that. Guy's got a diving accident. Yeah, accident. Oh, yeah, he watches those still couldn't find any. By the way, Speaker 3 really? I can literally show you one right after we get off this, right? Speaker 2 That's fair. Totally fair. Yeah, you can't fight. Stop saying you guys can fight. I can't fight Ben, can't fight. No one really knows how to fight unless you actually can fight a fight though. Speaker 3 Okay? Like yeah. Okay. What going to watch the movie with someone with Mark Wahlberg Speaker 2 the other guys? Speaker 3 No, One Speaker 2 Survivor? Oh Ted. Speaker 3 Okay, the one where he's the boxer and his brothers with Christian Bale is it called The Fighter? Speaker 2 Anyways, I'm gonna watch that Speaker 3 40 times and I'm going to be so Speaker 2 good. Dude, don't like stuff like fights here. Yeah. Wow, you're not kidding. It's called the foul. It's called The Speaker 3 Fighter. I'm gonna wash that so many times and I'm going to be so good. Great movie, by the way, looks really so bad. It looks incredibly bad actually talking about. It's actually good, actually good. I guess. I also think about okay. I know you're not like a huge movie guy, but think about for a second, a movie Speaker 2 about a Cop movie, a cop, a cop movie. You guys a lot. Speaker 3 Yeah. In the past. I don't know. 10 or 15 years. Yeah, and it takes place in Speaker 2 Boston or New York. Speaker 3 You know, I'm just giving you a scenario, okay? Yes, place in Boston. Speaker 2 Yes. It's about cops or some Speaker 3 sort of law enforcement. Speaker 2 Okay. Speaker 3 Imagine Mark Wahlberg, Speaker 2 not being not playing that part. Yeah, it's impossible. It's impossible. Now, I think Speaker 3 about it. It's literally impossible. They tried honestly, recently to have a movie in Bostick. They canceled it. Yeah, and they had to Speaker 1 cancel it, cancel it because the cop, the real cops show up and said, who's the lead Speaker 2 part here? And I said, oh, it's it's Dwight. It's Dwayne Johnson. They said, can't get rid of it. Yeah, scratch it while already wrote a A letter and that was it. Yeah. I know God isn't that Speaker 3 crazy? I'm trying to think of a movie. I'm not a huge movie. I either like Aunt. Bailey told me. He watched a movie the other day about the Boston Marathon Speaker 2 bombing. Oh, yeah, Bailey says really good. Turn off, Mark, Wahlberg's in it. Is he actually told you that? I had no idea that that was even Speaker 3 a movie. Is he actually. Yeah, that's what he said. Speaker 2 Wow. I did he live in Boston. I do want to watch I die. I do want to watch that got swine documentary on the Boston because I don't know why I really don't remember. That, Speaker 3 that it's hard for me to Part 2 Speaker 2 and it was recent. I don't like, I was alive to. I should have remembered it. But I don't remember, a few years ago. Do you remember where you're at, with? 911 know some, some people remember being in school, when like they Speaker 3 do on TV seeing the news when it was happening, but I remember Speaker 1 like, really know. That's what I'm talking about. You really? Speaker 2 I don't at all, dude. That's that's fascinating. Speaker 3 Yeah, that's one of the only things I remember from that age because Speaker 2 Like I, I don't remember anything. I have a terrible memory. Do you long-term Speaker 3 results or time both? But long term? Mainly I'm really, actually, no. Actually, I'm glad you talked about this. You know, how, maybe you don't know how I was talking to? I think it was Pages family, and they were knows my family, and my dad was saying how he remembers when he was three and four dolls and like his sister and his mom even Were like yeah, I remember this dude. I don't remember anything before I was like Speaker 2 12, who knows if I yeah, I think I was just born at the age of Speaker 3 12. You think. Here's my theory. Speaker 1 What, here's my dear. You haven't whoa. Whoa, I didn't think you're going Speaker 2 to go ahead and say this is wrong. I'm Gonna Play Your Part now, it's just wrong. Oh, go ahead. Okay. Well tell me a theory first. Speaker 3 You think that has anything to do with the fact that we use technology on our phone so much to Memories, We can look up things on Google and not have to remember who is actor in this movie or what was that thing called? Again? We can just look it up on Google. We don't have to remember anything. Do you think that's one of the reasons why we have bad memories like as a generation. Speaker 2 Those are generation. Have bad memories. Is there? Is there? I was just Speaker 3 noticing because myself I can't Speaker 2 remember my dad remembers his like grade school teachers. Speaker 3 No because Speaker 2 I don't know I dude. I'm gonna Center view with Elon Musk talking about The freaking phone, our phone is literally like a subsidy is out. Is that the word I want to use. It's like an attack. That's not the word. I want to use. Is it? It's a, it's a I mean note that Speaker 3 is subsidy. It's like sounds cool. Yeah, that would be like if Like I said, means under so Speaker 2 like, Speaker 3 oh no, like owned by something else, I guess, Speaker 2 subsidy. As I subsidy, I just that's the first one I came. I had it's basically help me find a better word. Let me say this dumb dumb lie, which is also not a word men coming tonight. Let me Speaker 1 tell me say this dummy to our phone is Speaker 2 basically an attachment of our brain, because it's information. That's directly available to us to use. Thank you. That's exactly what a it's an extension of ourselves. Speaker 1 So whether or not boarding my Speaker 2 theory? Yes, whether or not yes. Yes, whether or not we actually do have a bad memory or not. We still have something that can like reclaim that Speaker 3 information and that's why. Speaker 1 So do we really Speaker 2 like our physical memory? Yes, but if we have a freaking phone to say, oh, let me just look up who my fourth grade teacher was like, Speaker 3 yes, and that's the beauty of Like the time we live in, hmm. Because we have, we can we have the ability to like, have that, like you said, extension of our own memory is like what we have on our phones and computers and everything. Speaker 2 But like do you think it is like a real extension of ourselves? Our phone, you don't you don't view it. As that even with be it's every bit of information available, but it has nothing to do with your own body. It doesn't matter. It's on us at all Speaker 4 times. Okay, Speaker 2 it's like like we are as our species. I can't run faster than a cheetah, but I can go hop in my car and go way faster than it like, okay. So, I think the phone is an Speaker 3 extension. If whatever makes you sleep at night, you know, if that's if telling yourself that a Speaker 2 phone, watch this, whatever. Watch this, whatever makes me sleep in my made bed tonight Speaker 1 guys, Speaker 3 seriously, Speaker 2 seriously. Yeah. I know. I don't even care. Okay, dude, I have to get to this. Speaker 3 So bad, I'm gonna grab another Croix, Ashley. Speaker 2 Don't say what you I'm not. Don't do not say what you told me earlier, because I was actually upset. Speaker 1 Okay, good piece of good piece of information. Here we go. Boy. Good. Okay, and you said Speaker 2 it, good piece of information. Actually. I have a question for you. Very satisfying. So as you know, jumped one skydiving. Whatever. I'm not. I'm not even sure. Yeah. Fuck. I'm not even going to try to talk about that. Maybe I will later because it was freaking awesome. Yeah, dude. Megan on her leg interview thing. I was watching it and interview. Yeah, they like because we bought the like camera package or whatever. So they interview you think Speaker 1 how was it wasn't like even before even? Yeah, even before and she was like, like, whoa why you do like on the plane ride out there? Like why do To do this. She's like, well, I didn't want to, that's why I had to because Sawyer thing, dude. Okay, so I mean, you know, me, I freaking dive Speaker 2 wait, way too into like quotes or things people say, where do you draw the line with that? Speaker 1 Don't want to, but I had to don't want to but had because that was my same thing. My first Speaker 2 thought Sharon was like, yo, let's go skydiving. I was like, yeah. And then I was like, I don't Speaker 1 want to. Yeah, but that's if that's Speaker 3 why I want to. Yeah, I'm with you if there's no like Impending deadline that you have to do something. It sounds great. Yeah, I want to go skydiving, but if somebody told me you gone tomorrow. Yeah, Speaker 2 that's why I was. I was so cuz I actually could have booked it like in two days from wichern ask me. I was like, oh no. And then it turned into, prepare. It turned into two and a half weeks because I was out of town. Think goodness. Yeah, Speaker 1 it definitely made it easier having Speaker 2 like time to like prepare. But where do you Speaker 1 draw? Maybe we need time to think about it for next Speaker 2 week, but like because I don't want to I don't I don't want to break. My leg, that doesn't mean I have to do it. But like I also don't want to I do and I don't like I don't want to have a really sucky hard set in practice Speaker 3 reasons. Not to do a lot of Speaker 4 things. I mean Speaker 3 such an exact kill you. Speaker 1 Yeah, but like I know the Speaker 2 obvious ones of like something that causes harm to yourself or others, of Speaker 1 course don't want to do that. Like things that you really don't want to do. Where do you draw the line Speaker 3 with far as like just making you uncomfortable like getting yourself out of your Speaker 1 comfort zone? Yes, but like, I don't Speaker 2 know. Phone call. Like you can't I can't do it. I can't take every phone call. You can't. You can't call it. You can't help every person. Where do you draw the line with? I don't want to do this, but I know I After I know I should. I'm genuinely asking sad. I Speaker 3 mean, that's such a big question. There's a lot of different. Things, I don't know. I mean, like I said, there's things that there's great reasons why you shouldn't do some things like that's gonna hurt you or hurt somebody or okay, whatever. But there's, there's also situations where you might not want to do something because it pushes you out of your comfort zone, but that doesn't Speaker 1 also necessary. Some saying it's a hard, it's Speaker 3 a hard question because I don't think there is a line that you can just say like here it is. And that's what everybody should do, but I'm but like I think it's a valid question. Like there's there are times the definitely when if you don't want to do something, maybe it's a you know, your mind or body or whatever. Speaker 2 So, you know, I think telling got feelings real. You believe in got feeling, Speaker 3 got feeling. Yeah, I think so. Speaker 1 Hundred percent a hundred percent. Yeah, percent. I'm going to do, I'm going to need Speaker 2 time to think about this question because I I popped it on you. I didn't have an answer. I didn't really have enough time to like, actually think about it. I was to look at this whole chunk is about. Speaker 3 Dad's, I'll be surprised if you come up with an answer. Speaker 1 You'll Think I'm Gonna Speaker 3 think there's I don't think there is a good answer. Speaker 2 Now that everyone just stop. What? Now, maybe there's Speaker 1 not and going back and do something. I'm gonna take your mic away. Sorry. Maybe there's not a good answer but that Speaker 2 I don't know. Maybe there's not a good answer, but maybe that's what the answer is. I don't know. Speaker 3 Hmm. Yeah, I don't know. It seems like a case-by-case thing, dude. It depends what I guess. It depends what the feeling is. If it's a feeling of like This makes me uncomfortable Speaker 4 and Speaker 3 it is something that's not going to hurt me or anybody else. And Speaker 2 it go ahead and eat something good. Go ahead and do it. Speaker 1 Maybe, I don't know. I'm just saying. Oh it can lead to something good. Maybe that's it. Maybe. Yeah, holy crap that you, that's it. Where's a pen? Speaker 3 I don't have a pen. I want. Put the Speaker 1 right answer. That's it. If it leads to something good. Yeah. Whoa. If it's uncomfortable it goes. Whoa. Speaker 3 Whoa, Speaker 1 Frick, dude. Got your also really good at fighting Speaker 2 I heard. Whoa. So you're kind of in the Speaker 1 moment if it Speaker 2 sucks in that moment, it's alright. As long as it leads to something good. Even if that's years down the road. That's it. That's it, man. You nailed it. I know I'm stupid. Speaker 3 Whoa, all you need look all you need to do and that goes for anybody Speaker 2 out there hiking you can we definitely just like shut off. All right, we still got sound. Speaker 3 All anybody needs to do is say here's a problem. I have Speaker 4 hmm. Speaker 3 Give me the see the details and give me maybe two and a half minutes and I will give you the right Speaker 2 answer and and they'll be rich all the sudden. Speaker 3 And I want to promise that, but more than likely. Yeah. Yeah, you'll be rich Speaker 2 just from talking to you in two minutes. You'll say, hey, invest in these stocks, and here's how to solve your problem. I've seen that Speaker 3 happen. Yeah. I'm still trying to figure out the stock market. I'm not going to lose you money. You know what? No, actually what something that's fine that did happen Pages dad. There was a period where Speaker 2 Peters Dad. Should I put a picture right here in the Speaker 1 he gave he Speaker 3 gave her as like, a graduation gift. I think some of his like stock accounts and he said like, why does the best this? However, you want. Speaker 1 What were they already invested with the stocks invested? Some of them were. Speaker 2 Yeah. Please tell me should not take them Speaker 3 out. She had, well, whatever the situation was. I'm just saying he gave her a gift. Some of it was already invested some of that. I think you just said, like do whatever you want with this. He just wanted to give her something to start out with. Yeah, and so there was a period where me and her were both like, kind of interesting like, oh, what stocks going to be good. I didn't do a lot of research, but I found a couple that I was like, oh this might be good and she of course, was like Dad check this out, whatever. And he invested in. Speaker 2 No, did Speaker 3 it only lost Speaker 1 my no? No. And he just listened to page. Yeah. I mean does he know? You didn't do it too? So like he's Speaker 3 not like every time I saw him, he was like Hey, like Sox Speaker 1 losing money, you know, I just wait, just wait. Yeah, Speaker 3 have to wait but last time I saw he's like, hey, I made Speaker 1 money on. Yeah. It really lets went up $4 just in that our Speaker 3 this out. At that point because it's gonna go back to Speaker 1 do. You know, what companies I was? Speaker 3 I don't remember the name of it. I'll have to look at the thing. I have in my phone, but Again, I don't know a lot about it. I just looked I looked up something and I was like, oh this would be probably pretty good but the frick. Yeah, but I'm so it's going up dude. Speaker 2 So I mean it has to go up. It has to unless the company just absolutely Speaker 3 dies. Yeah, I guess I just felt good that it wasn't gonna lose Speaker 4 anybody money Speaker 3 out of felt really bad. Speaker 2 Alright, Kroy Kroy sent us all. What about 35, Corey? Kilroy? Oh go away. Yeah, oh like guy going like way khoikhoi. It's not. Is that like Speaker 3 it would be crying guy, but instead of Santa Cruz De La Speaker 2 Croix, I actually say LaCroix.
