The Carl Nelson Show opens with discussions on current events, starting with recent mass shootings in Virginia, Florida, and Louisiana, framing violence as a public health crisis exacerbated by depression and urging the use of mental health resources like the 211 helpline. The conversation then shifts to sports, analyzing the trade of Dexter Lawrence from the New York Giants due to his dissatisfaction with the team. Political segments cover the DOJ's focus under acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and the start of tariff refunds for businesses. The core of the episode features an interview with Pastor Anthony Williams, who criticizes Donald Trump for attacking the Pope, suggesting racial motivations given the Pope's African heritage and current tour of Africa. The pastor also condemns Trump's self-comparison to Jesus as sacrilegious and politically motivated, aimed at galvanizing evangelical support. The dialogue underscores themes of mental health, political accountability, and the intersection of race and religion in public discourse.
[MUSIC] >> You rockin' with the most awesome mission. >> The Carl Nelson show. >> All right, let's go. [MUSIC] >> [INAUDIBLE] >> And grand rising family, thanks for starting your week with us. Later, best selling off the psychologist Dr. Jerome E. Fox will return to our classroom. Dr. Fox is the author of the best selling workbook addicted to white. The oppressed in league with the oppressor ashamed based alliance. Dr. Fox will unpack Donald Trump's obsession with religion at the same time explaining why many of Trump's followers agree with him. Before Dr. Fox marketing an expert, Overton Wilkins will break down why so many young people have different social and political views than their elders. But to get us started, we'll check in with Chicago activists past the Anthony Williams. First, let's get Kevin to reopen this classroom doors. Grand Rising Kevin. [MUSIC] >> Hey, Carl Nelson. Grand Rising indeed sir is Monday morning and it's the 20th of April. How you feeling? >> I'm still lying, Kevin. >> Excellent. And so a great position to be in what they say, do a little bit more often. And you'll continue to grow that way. Because sometimes software can let you down just a little behind the scenes. So I'm over here learning more technology than the average guy my age I think. But what he does, it gives you a test, Kevin. That's what he does. He said, okay. >> Oh, I always look at promises tests. How am I going to beat this? I'm going to deal with this. It's not really a problem because you're going to learn something from it. Because the next time it comes around, you know how to deal with it. >> Okay, professor. I certainly concur with that. I'll let you know the results of this. Hey, look, the Giants, the football Giants, agreed to trade a guy named Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals. You got any thoughts on that? >> Yeah, it was interesting because he's one of the best players all pro. And all of a sudden they're giving up to the Bengals. He had some issues with, I guess, the front office and wanted out of New York. But, you know, hopefully they'll get in draft picks. So hopefully they'll get someone, you know, who can make up for it for it. Because that's going to leave a big hole in the Giants. So hopefully they get somebody to really step up and replace him. That's going to be some big shoes to fill out. >> Well, was he injured or something? >> No, he just wanted out. I'm not quite sure if it was money, but, you know, they never gave you the real deal what it is. But when you have one of your best players, say, you know, long ones play for you. The best thing to do is find a way out because if he's disgruntled, he's not going to perform well on the field. So that's what they did. >> No, because he's disgruntled. You could get hurt. You go out there, have stepping, though. Couldn't you? I've never been on an NFL football field. But it looks like you could get hurt if you're playing, you know, at half a speed or something. Doesn't it? >> Yeah, but he wanted to reduce your eyes. He's a professional, so, you know, he's going to give it all. He's got to know that. So, you know, it's the easiest way just to part company and get, they got drapics. So, you know, hopefully you'll get what he's worth. >> Well, the next question is whether the Bengals will address Lawrence's contract on the way in. They're saying that hasn't happened yet. And Lawrence was the 17th overall pick in the 2019 draft signed through 2027. And it was due to earn $20 million in 2026. But I guess you can turn your nose up at $20 million. >> Right. I'm not going to restructure it, you know. The thing is, I get to take most on the back end or the front end. They'll figure a way around it. It's interesting watching how these millionaires play with their money. And it's like a big monopoly board there. >> Yeah, because some people like their money upfront. Because, you know, they're not sure what the future holds. But some people say, "I'll take deferred payments. So, when I'm retired, I'm still getting a check." So, all that, they'll probably structure his deal. >> All right. And for political news, according to NBC, acting attorney General Todd Blanche says the DOJ isn't focused on Trump's enemies. Blanche was named to the job after Trump fired Pam Bondy, and part over his frustration that she hadn't had more success in prosecuting his political enemies. So, if you can't do the job, get to stepping, I guess. And so, Blanche said, "What we've been doing is changing the department." And he was named to the job, of course. And he said, "He read the stories about why Bondy lost her job." But, side step to the questions, whether he was worried he'd meet the same fate. It's not, it's win, right? >> Right. Because you know why you got the job. You know why Bondy failed? And this is what you got to do. And, you know, don't start, like you said, side step in what the president wants. He wants, what he wants is revenge. And he wants you to, but he wants it politically done legally. And there was no legal way that the Pam Bondy could do it. So, she failed, she tried, because she was doing what it just following orders, but she failed, you know. And again, those are the New York folks that he hates. >> Right. >> So, she had to rewrite a whole lot of rules to pull that in. >> Yeah. Wouldn't she? Because he's on the impression that anything he wants can be done. You know, this solution, any, as he says, just do it, just figure a way how to do it. That's basically it. And Pam Bondy couldn't do that legally. So, we'll see what Blanche can do. >> And Blanche said, "I don't operate every day trying to second guess when the president Trump or anybody is thinking." Now, remember he said that, "Okay, let's look." >> Yeah. >> Remind him later. >> Yes, sir. Trump's tariff refund is set to start today. The US business that paid tariffs that the Supreme Court rule were illegal can start applying for refunds today. The Trump administration's launch of an online portal for tariff refund applications marks the first phase of its efforts to comply with court orders to reimburse billions of dollars in paid tariffs and interest to importers. The Supreme Court didn't address how the government should refund the tariff paid under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. But the Court of International Trade last month ordered the administration to begin the reimbursement process. So, give me my money back. >> Why not? >> Yeah. And so, just before we bring on your guess, Carl, it's been some sad occurrence that's going on. The shooting in Virginia, the Lieutenant Governor kills his wife. And then there's the shooting in Florida that you were telling me about off mic. And then the shooting in Sreefport, the killing of eight children in Louisiana, the deadliest US mass shooting since 2024. In the words of Marvin Gaye, what's going on, Carl? >> You know what? Because Kevin, we usually are not involved. When you hear about mass murders and these kind of murders, they're usually not our folks. You know, maybe we're addicted to white more often. We talked about the Florida one, the first one that she was the vice mayor of the small town in Florida called Spings. Her husband just shouted. And for days, he just shouted. And they asked him why. And he says, I couldn't take it anymore. He's not speaking beyond that. And then he talked about the second one, the Lieutenant Governor in Virginia, a former Lieutenant Governor in the shot, his wife. And the shooting in the home, you know. And man, the Sreefport, this guy, those crazy, you know, and shoots up some of the children were his children. And then, you know, he gets a reticle, a suicide by cop, he gets killed by the police. But all of these things, you know, these, and anybody I think, got emotional problems thinking that way. There's a number to call. That's 211. You know, you got to help. You know, if you see someone in that kind of condition, and these help, you know, figure out how to help them get them baker, I could have something, figure out how to help them because it's got to stop. What are your thoughts? Depression, I believe, depression is a serious disease. And, you know, you might think that person is okay, but that depression can really take them out. And they might do X that are certainly unfamiliar and inhumane, even, because after the Virginia Lieutenant Governor shot his wife, he killed himself. And the guy in Sreefport killed all those children. It's just, it's got to be a result of that depression. You know, we can pray, but we also need, like, I think, some real medical expertise involved in these things. And look out for your fellow man to keep yourself safe. And that's the way it is, Carl, on the 20th of April. And you guess it's standing by. Have a great day. Thanks for your time. All right. Thanks, Kevin. 10th of the time. Okay. Grand Rising, Pastor Anthony Williams. Welcome back to the program.
program. Where rising Mr. Carl Nelson, thank you so much for this opportunity, sir. Let me just talk to you first before we, you know, just since Kevin mentioned those, those unfortunate killings of where our folks are involved. As a past, how do you comfort families like that? Because I know you've been through this before. Look, it's very difficult to comfort families. It's something like, this is just so traumatic and earth shaking. And once again, you know, my position, Mr. Nelson, that America is not dealing with his violence problem correctly. Violence is a public health crisis, it's a disease, and sex is but not contagious. And yet, our, unfortunately, our medical community and our epidemiologists and others have for years being led in this nation, know what was happening. We still refuse to properly respond to this disease. That's the great tragedy, but hopefully, when they will address the issue, we don't all kill each other. Yeah, hopefully we'll deal with, especially on our side of the chess board. I mean, usually there be other folks who hear when these things happen. You know, we see what some of our people are now doing that. But again, it explains what I guess coming up later, Dr. Fox's telling so many of us are addicted to white. And white folks don't get mad at me because, you know, when I say these, we can usually, when we hear these mass murders in today, they usually don't involve our folks straight up. We don't do stuff like that. But let me just say this to anybody out there who's, as Kami mentioned, I haven't depression and having those thoughts. I know there's a number to call and it's two one one. Just call that number for help. Because we never know what people are really going through in their minds. All of these is pre-meditated. So they're thinking it's not just a reaction. So family out there, if you're going through this, you know, kind of things, are you getting these kind of thoughts? Don't know who to turn to. Just dial to one one. You can get help. But pastor, I'm kind of rising again. Thank you for allowing us to have this discussion because I think it's needed since it's shown up so, so quickly, so often in the last few days in our community. But one ask you though, we usually call you here because Donald Trump has taken on the, the, the Pope, the Pope is from your ear out there in Chicago. I just want to get to your thoughts. First, what do you think about it? When you when you heard him attacking the Pope or going against the Pope? Well, once again, it just shows that Trump is the narcissistic person that he continues to be. You know, anytime you attack the Pope, who was basically spoke true for me, the Pope is the shepherd of the Roman Catholic Church, the Catholic Church speaks for one voice and that voice is the Pope. So, when Pope Leo talks in terms of peace, when he talks in terms of tyranny, when he talks in terms of there should be no war, there should be, they should be able to, people should be able to reason without killing each other. His position was correct. That's his background. That's his job. Just like Trump, and let's believe it's supposed to be the president of the United States to conduct a civil government that should be his job. That's his job as a policymaker. That is the job of the Pope to address the serious moral issues and crises of our day. He's only doing his job. This, this Pope is, if it's difficult to poke, he's an American pope. So, he understands the American culture, very well, very well. This Pope has great insight into the world. He lives there, and don't forget, this Pope is black too. Let's never forget that. He's black. Hold that though right there. Hold that though right there, pastor. Do you think that's part of the problem too? Is Creole Roots, and the fact not only that is Creole Roots, he's got some African in there. He has a shot away from it. And the fact that he's currently touring Africa. We know Donald Trump's sentiments about African-African people. Do you think that played a role into that attack? Oh man, look here. He can't do D.I. whatever with the Pope. The church showed their leader. And you can believe that Bans and Trump sit around on the cabinet table and call the Pope and make them, I'm going to say it just like that. Just like that. Because that's how he thinks. And I'm pretty sure he'll post it on his social media. That make a pope is running the church. So, when you understand how he thinks, he will never change. The Pope, my prayers, he continues to do what he's supposed to do. And that's to stand on the gospel, the good news. And so as a positive clergyman, as a positive clergyman who has had a extensive training, a seminary graduate, I understand how the Pope was approaching the President of the State. And as a matter of fact, he's primarily saying, I'm not trying to debate Trump. This is opposition. This is our stand. And this is according to the scripture. This is according to the gospel. So the pope is doing his job. And my prayers, he continues to speak out against the injustices, not in this nation, but in the world at large. This man has a national platform, international platform with billions of people father. He goes over to, he's an angel in Africa right now where the Catholic Presences exploding on the coming of Africa. And we could debate whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. There's so many Catholics and a continent who's incredible for folks who are looking at them. Where are all these Catholics and Protestants are on the continent of Africa? Well, listen, we come up on a break. When we come back, though, I want to get the issue that's closer to you, not the Catholicism, but Christianity, where he, you know, he closed himself through like Jesus Christ. I want to get your thoughts as I, as a Christian minister, and I'm going to put you on you now to speak for the Black Church, what's your, get your thoughts about that family, you to control our conversation, our guest, pastor Anthony Wins, his pastor, out of Chicago is an activist. You know how to reach us 800-450-78-76. We'll take you for a call next. (Music) Thank you, Grandbrides and family. Thanks for waking up with us on this Monday morning. Thanks for starting a week with us at 21 minutes after the top of the, out with our guest, the pastor, Anthony Williams. He's an activist pastor out of Chicago and the question I posted right before I left the break was if he felt away when he saw that, you know, Donald Trump, Donald Trump behind in front of the American flag and, you know, supposedly I guess inclined that he was Jesus and you, a man of the cloth, you know, make you feel away or there was just, or some of his opponents, that's Donald Trump being Donald Trump. So we should just just accept it. How did you see it pastor? Well, what's, I saw it as a bastard, a sacrilege, Trump got about as much as God and the men just dumped you very well. So, you know, I mean, it's just just about focusing on these things and you got a lot of people, but I'm into this talk to you. And she didn't get close to that phone because it's sounding kind of hollow there. So she didn't get close to that phone. Appreciate it. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I mean, you got people out here and it's just buying into this apartment. You see them being some type of Messiah. So that's very important that human being is going to track and go talk to people. But that's a, that's a joke. That's a joke. And you know, tomorrow is going to have this Bible reading at the White House and he's going to have people, they'll be reading Bible verses. How do you, do you see that as a political move? Because, you know, I guess the date was already before all this started. He was all decided they were going to do this, but I'm not sure if he was decided we're going to do the White House and have some of the members of his cabinet, you know, taking part as well. But it's just a political move because he, you know, what he did with the Pope, what he did with Christian faith, the white evangelicals are stirring up and asking questions and he may be losing vote. Just think this is, he's doing this because he loves God or is this a political expediency? Well, political expediency and what they need at the White House is electricity. That's what they need at the White House instead of reading Bible and they need that vaccine, which is what I thought the Trumps. But unfortunately, you know, historically people have used the church and it loves the church. That's consequences for that too. You will read what you saw that I believe when you say examples of it every day. Unfortunately, what we have is a demagogue who now believes that he is God. That's what we have right now. He's a demagogue and to attack the Pope who's certainly doing his job and telling the truth. You know, I'm one who's a practitioner of liberation theology. That's my roots. I'm a product of the Black Church graduating from this
historical black college, Bishop College, and down his Texas, which produced preachers, man. It was a preacher's machine. But the same time, you know, all was understood to witness at the church and my commitment to my community and to me and the Lord. And so when you see something like this and the positive Benjamin, you had to stand on the right side of history. The Pope has certainly did his job. And the Pope is not afraid. Donald Trump will not win a fight if he keeps coming at the Pope. He will continue to lose the popularity he has. He will go down in history and the disaster. You can just look at this moment of history. You've got to get United States president fighting the Pope. That's crazy. That's crazy. So it can't be a man's being sucking and having been the 15th century. As you know, brother, Nelson Martin Luther, who started the movement of the positive resolution was an Augustine in the month. He was an Augustine in the month. Now, Saint Augustine, the Bishop of Hippon, was black. Now, he spear out Catholics who don't want to admit that he was black. The early church was black and he had some of the first of the bishop, some of the first folks in the Catholic Church were black. I can recall when that upstop my hair is Saint Belatian. And so the black brothers has always been in the Roman Catholic Church. They let the news. You know, let me jump in here because I'm glad you mentioned it. I guess an opportunity to remind the folks that the late Dr. Rinalke Rashidi, and he rest in peace, always told us that in the basement of the Vatican, there's a picture of the Madonna and Child. And Madonna's black and the Child is black. And this is all over Europe in the Catholic Church, but they keep this picture or this monument to the Madonna and Child in the basement. So you have to have special request to go there and see it because they don't want the rest of the congregation know that Madonna and Child was black. For them, they know the truth of Jesus is black, but they don't want to share that with their parishioners because in case they'll get upset. But thank you for giving me the opening to mention that. But continue, Pastor. But see, this Pope lived in an all-estinian month. He's a black-- listen to me-- black, old, not a black, old, monk. Luther was a black, old, monk. And what did he do? He spent the church, processing in terms of the existence because he said, you know, we are justified by our faith. So it is not a usual to me for Pope Leo to take the type of stances that he's taking. The sect that he comes from, they have stone, theological beliefs in terms of the issue of social justice. It's like the form of Pope Francis, he was thrown in the area of social justice. Now, historically, we know that the Catholic Church made a lot of major mistakes. You had fast forward. You have a Pope that appears to be trying to rectify the issue. But he's going to ask him, now a lot of folks who say, well, you know, he's willing to divide those Colorado and Southern cities. And that's true, too. And that's true. But for me, I know that it is the job of the church, based on Romans and 12th chapter, not to conform to this world, but to transform this world. So if you are committed to the ministry of Christ, your job is not to conform to the transform this world. There is no compromise, but you must be wise. And so when you talk about within line of the separation of church and state, that's just going to be a fine line. But at the same time, clergy, who are, clergy and other faith-based people don't recognize the move that he's making against the Pope, then something wrong with it. As a you coming at the Pope, but let me, you don't start. And let the people to. - And 20 and half the time, the hour of family just waking up, our guest is pastor Anthony. I'm for the Williams out of Chicago. So actually, it's pastor. That's where the pope is from, the Chicago land area. And Pope Leo, we're talking about, of course, and he is an Africa right now winding up his trip to the continent and stopped in Angola. Stop the church linked to slavery. And again, people say it reflects on his own complex heritages. Many of you know, well, hoping many of you already know, the pope has some lineage back to Louisiana. Creole lineage, if you will. They should have put it another way. He's got black blood, the pope is black. But you know, in phenotypically, he doesn't look black, but the pope is black and he's connecting with his roots. But the church that he went to, a pastor, had, you know, did a lot for helping brothers and sisters who were enslaved in Angola. And it draws attention to, again, the slave trade. Do you think all of what the pope is doing is, is, is, is, the Donald Trump the wrong way? Because he's drawn attention to stuff that Donald Trump doesn't really care about. Do you think that this is, this is why he jumped in? Because he could have ignored the pope, whatever he's doing. And he wouldn't have all these issues now that he's facing. Oh, I thought, I mean, look, the pope is a, he's the shepherd. He's the shepherd of the Catholic Church. He's doing a job of the pope. He's standing on the gospel. He's standing on the Word of God. He's doing his job, you know, Trump is about to step into a world that he's not the step there. And if he continues to do these acts of America and with this, the pope is going to backfire. And as the pope says, you know, I'm not going to bathe here. But the baby for what? But the thing is, is that what I'm saying at the pope will start saying, and hopefully I will possibly can have some dialogue with the come out and say to adjust the issue of violence directly as a disease, to deal with this and to push forth civility. That's very important. Very important for me. And therefore, the world we live in, the pope is a civil person. He's not going to take a sweat over Donald Trump. Donald Trump will lose his battle. He will even go down in history. And the biggest food that ever came out of America. Pretty many South of the top. Let me ask you this. Why do you think it picked a fight with the pope though? Why? The fight with the pope and then he tried to portray himself as Jesus the Christ. Why do you think he picked a fight? Because it could've just be like I said, he just ignored him. You know, everything you know, pay attention, I have to respond to everything that's thrown at you. It wasn't even thrown at him. Why do you think he, you know, why do you think he went on the offensive? That man, he's got what really the world is. This guy actually wants to rule. That's also the movie where it's either anybody wants to rule the world. This man wants to rule the world, man. That's just it. And the bottom line is he has used his white privilege to be able to ride, to stand and do anything he wants to do. So I mean, you don't have to be a rock of science to see what his, his, his, his, his, his, his, his, his psychological profile. He was an emphasis, but yet he was deviant enough to position himself to do what he's doing in his lifetime and become the president of the state because of his white tricks. His white privilege is why he's where he's at. If he was a black person, a spanic person during the war, people have been, took before firing the squad. But as a relates to the Pope, Trump won't win that battle against the Pope. And as the Pope was, Patty even tell JD Vans, you know what I'm gonna be? I'm gonna excommunicate you, man. Yeah, I'm gonna kick you out the church. I'm gonna excommunicate you, but the Pope has been certain that he's been talking to you, going about doing doing the law after that. So, you know, and, and that's a part, and you know, that's, that's a little bit of an excommunicated in the church, particularly the Catholic church. They don't play about that. You cross the line where excommunicate you. Like Joe Biden and Catholic. They said, okay, you believe in abortion, Joe? You won't give you to me. So while he was a pretty nice, they could go to a Catholic service, but he was, he could, they would not, he could not participate in the community. Right, 27 away from the top of the, I passed the wrong, one of the things too, his followers, I know we're gonna deal with this later with psychologist Dr. Dr. Jeremy Fox, but his followers, how do you, would you say about his followers? 'Cause it seems like he can do everything and they still, you mentioned JD Vans, who just converted to Catholicism recently, and they're all bending over backwards to the police down the Trump. Do you have any explanation over this? You know, they don't see that, hey, this can't be true. This man, he's not, he's not God. Why are they still supporting him? That's my question. I just wanna figure out if you have any idea, 'cause we're gonna leave it to the psychologist, really, to break it down, but what are your thoughts? - I mean, let's first of all, human beings are intrestable creatures, intrestable. And somebody started walking down the street on the head with a, on the, walking down the street upside down top of the head.
within the month that would be the new fire. And unfortunately, one's training was background, was understanding why it makes them who pay off. And also human beings are traducts and creatures. The human beings are messing creatures, man. And when you got a leader who rejects mess everywhere, he goes, who creates chaos everywhere he goes, you got a lot of people walking around with these chaotic spirits. And that's wrong to that, man. It's like people were drawn to Hitler, drawn to Mussolini and other evil figures in history. And so unfortunately, those type of people will always get wrong because they can't think for themselves in their frustrations. Donald Trump gives the right races an opportunity to hate more, because he was just saying, just not really saying something crazy. He believes in what I believe. You know, it's a rough idea. - Hold a thought with that. How can you be a call yourself a Christian and believe in God or not even a Christian? What's the more religious person, man? And say that you hate. Isn't that the cornerstone of religion to love? - Yeah, it is. It is. To love. Now, I could love you for a distance too. I could recognize all of which you from a distance too. We don't have to be around each other, but I can love you for a distance. I can recognize all of that, just a, but no civil minded person can truly hate, hate is a dangerous disease. And it erodes everything within a person and it takes more humanity away from them. We have a president who has no humanity. You have a Pope that's trying to speak to the soul of humanity. And say, look, hold up. Can't do this. You can't do this. So, you know, we're in a unique moment of history. And so those of us who are consciousness, just continue to do what we have to be in the lead, the teachings and understand, you know, continue to understand what's going on in this world and work together in collaboration. - All right, hold a thought right there. We got to step aside and get caught up with the latest news, traffic, and weather in our different cities. When we come back though, Mark and Baltimore has a question for you. Family YouTube can show on our conversation in this Monday morning with our guest pastor, Anthony Williams, out of Chicago's in activist. He's been talking about the Pope, you know the Pope, that's his era as Chicago land and his brother still lives there. And his brother, Donald Trump says he loves his brother 'cause his brother's a maggot. What are your thoughts on Trump's foray into religion and still getting support from a lot of people? You know how to reach us? 800-450-78-76. Those are magic numbers. Well, take your phone calls after we check the news, traffic, and weather in our different cities. That's next. - Thank you, Grand Rising family. Thank you, Starnio Weekly. That's 17 minutes away from the top. I guess the Chicago activist pastor, Anthony Williams, discussing Donald Trump's issues with religion. Took on the Pope and then he's trying to portray himself as Jesus Christ. I wanna get from Dr. Pastor and Williams. What he thought about that is a black pastor. Before we go back to you, let me just remind you, come up later this morning. We're gonna speak with psychologist Dr. Jerome E. Fox. And I think Fox is also gonna take a look at Donald Trump's foray into religion, what it really means. And also he's gonna share with us why some of his followers, despite what he said, the disparaging remarks about Christianity and the church and all that, why some responses still following him? They haven't left him. He's so Dr. Fox is gonna share that with us. And coming up before Dr. Fox, I'm gonna speak with marketing expert over to Wilkins. He's gonna break down why so many young people have different social and political views than their elders. And later this week, and here from the move sister Pam Afghers, she's gonna give us an update on Maria Bogemon. I think this entire week is being dedicated to Maria. Also a traditional and holistic doctor, Dr. A will be here. And Chairman Fred Hampton will also check it. So if you went Baltimore, keep that radio light in tight on 1010 WLB. If you're in the DMV though, we're on 1450 WOL. A pastor of Williams, and I said, I mentioned before 11 for the news update, the marketing Baltimore has a question for you. So I'm going to grand rise in Marquis on past Anthony Williams. Hey, grand rise and God is so good to hear you guys. And like the pastor said, Carl, he needed accesses in the White House. He's just doing that because I'm trying to distract. But I agree with you pastor, 100% Pope Leo, we have to deal with him the violence as a whole, especially in our communities. And I have a question for you, after I invite Carl, you and everybody, April 24, the 44 town hall meeting Baltimore Collegiate School for Voice, 6 to 8 PM, 25, 25 print, Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. And that's going to be this eye date. Everybody in the DMV area, because after they trying to close the voice school here in Baltimore when the number one killer of our boys in Baltimore is murder. We've lost 2000 young men to murder, just as 2015. And everybody that's making the decisions looked like us. But this is my question. Yesterday, we had a youth Sunday. And it was so man, the young pastor, she called up, and all the young people, she said she's just so many calls, call about young people wanting to commit suicide. These are young people that's in church and all that kind of stuff, but they have to manipulate life. So, Mark, could you please call some people that keep saying, the young people are left with church and there's that in the other, we have a real abundance of young people in church. And 9/8 is the national number that we have to deal with, that is tell people that 9/8 is the national number call for a Dixon Health, counseling health, veterans crisis line and homeless themselves. We got 9/8 because 100,000 or more, mostly white people died from overdose. That's how we got the national 9/8 hotline. Thank you, guys. - All right, thank you, Mark. Pastor, do you want to respond to any of your remarks? - No, no, I would encourage Mark to be a user citizenship card now. And if he can find some decent state rep that he can work with and call for hearing and call for hearing on violence as a public health crisis, half hearing, half hearing. And he can look at the Illinois Health Reform Bill, which we got passed on April 27th, 2021, six years ago. And he can reach out to me because you still have to use the matrix of the system to your advantage as a citizen. And that's very important. And he really talked about young people. I deal with young people every day, 13, 14 years, and years of age, some of them are, they don't want to live anymore. So we've got some serious problems when the young person say they want to die. And this issue of suicide was all, it was all a part of this coalition that took around violence. If we don't address the number one problem of the 21st century being violence correctly, then we are doomed as a society. - We're going to be going to ask you this, Pastor. Are you seeing that what Mark talked about these young, his pastor mentioned that young people want to commit suicide? Are you getting that in your church as well? - Oh, I get that. I'm not so much in the church, but in the streets. I work with young people every day. And I get an opportunity to dialogue with them and see them in their own world. And you know, many of them have just, they're giving up at a young age. So we've got to encourage our young people like never before and to understand them. I know sometimes they're difficult to understand, but we're difficult to understand too. So we've got to be very wise right now if we're going to survive as individuals and we're going to survive collectively. This is not a game. So when you have a person like Trump going around here threatening the Pope, you know, you know, you talk about one, but he has a brother and a Florida as a brother here still in his car on that area. Now that brother is being threatened right now because of what Trump sees. So he is the post brother 1000 miles away from his brother, but yet his brother is being threatened. But every time Trump opens his mouth, he causes harm, but his mouth is about to get shed because he won't win. It is a politically stupid to be talking about fighting. You are the Pope. You will not win a battle. A politician, a politician, no better. You don't want to get into a fight with a church, because they are right to church with a right to pass. And right now, thus far, his bill is showing the meal to be on the right side of his. So I have to stay with him. He's taking the right position. The position of truth, the same position that Christ would take. - Gotcha. Turn away from the top there, Pat. So they've got a three question for you. And Grant rising the tweet that says, "Asha, guess, does he remember back in the 80s when a black man named Stolings in Washington, DC broke away from the Catholic church and opened his own church?" He said, "He did not like that. He had been true."
while being there as to you know where he is now. Do you know what happened to that past the stallings? I remember that incident. I'm a big, big, big, and a DCM for years. So I don't know what happened. I don't know what happened to stallings. I remember when he broke away. But I don't know if he's still around. I guess somebody can prove who I'm up to see if he's still around. And just because the person said he started his own church and I think he did started his own church. But that goes back to the fact that all religion and correct me if I'm wrong pastor because you know I've heard that all religions were made by man. Because religion is not made in you don't hear any of the I guess the religious books that don't mention the religion how religion was started. Well in the Christian tradition, Christ established the church with Peter when he says upon this rock I will feel my church and the grace of here will not prevail. Now that's how we look at it. There's obviously that Christ established the church. And he did it because this is what he said is upon this rock I will feel my church and it gives the firmman in terms of mega churches. I don't think Christ was a component of that. Because when you look at the book of Acts and the early church, they were communal. Yeah, but we're not talking about church. We're talking about religion itself. You know the Catholic religion. Yeah. Well what we talked about that but I only can speak I speak from the tradition of the Christian tradition and the tradition and the tradition and the tradition and the Christian tradition. Scripture tells us that Christ established the church we have in the gospel. When he says upon my rock so Christ established the church it was not man it was it was God do Christ that established the church. Yeah, but the different different denominations I think this is where the conversation should go. The different denominations came into being because of the oldest the oldest body known in terms of we look at the history of Christ of them is the Ethiopian church. The Ethiopian church is older than the Catholic church. The Christianity was not born in the soul of Europe. Christianity was born in the soul of Africa. So we look at that. The denominations came in the plate when we get to the 15th century when Martin Luther, when he writes the 95th BC, he lails them to the wall of Whitonburg and that that's when the church occurred. The politicians at that time like Henry who wanted to divorce him as wife. They needed Luther because the Pope had he was all behead a nepotent power in the Pope in their area. They had armies as well as arguments too. So you think you think secular politics is something else? Wait, wait, wait, hold that thought right there pastor. We peed that last line that you said for the folks in the back of the classroom because I don't think they feel good. I said many of these early folks had armies and talked about folks. I mean they had I mean they had total authority and that's why so when Luther comes along and challenges the Pope because he challenges the Pope because of the issue of indulgence. People would have to go and pay the priest to pray their families from keeping from out of damnation to pray that they go to pervert or and from you pay up some more man they go they they go to heaven. So they were hustling in the church. They ain't that new about hustling in the church. So Luther comes along and sees the corruption but also he looks as the scripted and along with him and says, hold up. We're just defied by faith. I don't have to go confess my hands to another. I can take my stuff to cry. So they come about. So when that happened then the split and then what happens? Presbyterians come along with John Calvin, excepting settles, etc. So over time bears denominations came but that's okay too because Christ talks about that Christ is the root. He is divine with the branches. And so that's just a branch of of Christ's work. I mean the Pope is a branch of the church. He calls himself a Catholic but he and I believe in the triumphant God and ironically in my situation I live in the community that he grew up in and when I moved into daughter with my family many years ago his father still lived in doubt. The old church is still here. The village of Dalton has bought the house and now it's become a historical site. So and we both attended Catholic Union Catholic theological seminar. I had to take courses there as a pilot. So we're living in unique terms. I think this is this Pope is a unique individual. I pray for his safety and I just pray that those of us who are believers in the fight of Christ would do one thing not conform to this world but transform this world for the better of all. All right hold that thought right there. We got a step aside and get caught up with the traffic with the differences when we come back sister for human Washington DC has a question or comment for you. Family YouTube controllers and our conversation with past Anthony Williams at a Chicago discussing the Donald Trump's obsession. It appears to be obsession with religion now. 800 450 78 76 what gets you in and we'll take you calls and we check the traffic and weather. That's next. And grand rising family thanks a ton of you week with us. submitted after the top the armament teller we're going to speak with marketing expert over 10 Wilkins right now we're on with Chicago pastor Anthony Williams and pastor Williams sister for human Washington DC has a question or a comment for you online seven grand rising sister for him and we pastor Williams. Good morning Mr. Nelson and greeting to your guest. I wanted to make two points of what answer the person's question and then in keeping with the topic. She's the person that called about the Catholic he's talking about racial, William, Augustus. I'm sorry George Stalin. Pastor George Stalin he woke away and saw the African American Catholic congregation in 1999. I went to Ghana with him along with Marcello Mark Thompson and they moved to suit the Maryland and they have an African American Catholic congregation in the region. It was a money temple over over in Northeastern they moved to suit the Maryland. But I wanted to mention one of the topics that the pastors one of his topics the issue of violence and this month alone in April they've been 10 black women murdered and this month is not even out one is Barbara dear in the Chicago area who was murdered of victim of murder suicide her son Taylor killed her she was the widow of the former county commissioner commissioner dear and we know about the situation with Mr. Fairfax and the woman in Africa but they have been 10 women murdered by people who you know family members and it's been keeping with the issue around violence. There's really something going on in people we had some spaces over the weekend dealing with the incident online where someone had threatened someone and made some barrage marks but but but the fact of the matter this there's something going on and we're really not talking about it and there are those that try to dismiss the issue oh black people don't commit to a yes we do because we have been subject to the pressures of life micro-degression etc and I've you know as a licensed permission I've you know provided services to people and can you talk a little bit particularly a light of misdeers and I really thought that you were because you know your your issues around violence I thought you would have mentioned this and maybe you did before I turned in I just want to raise Barbara Deere's name again a woman who did not to be died she did not to did not deserve to die particularly by someone she brought into this world and I'll just land there. Pastor oh yeah she brought up once again you know I feel about the issue by this brother Nelson unfortunately a ex-public official by a kind of commissioner Deere who passed where a couple years ago I knew him I didn't know him personally like that but I had met him and he was always very very kind towards me yet the three children I believe are daughter and two so the two sons were twin and allegedly it was a murder suicide where he shot the mother three times and shot himself and once again you know we won't deal with the issue of violence correctly as a disease it's a disease infectious but not contagious and we can help this nation and being example to the world by just an issue correctly first
of all starting with educating people. People need to educate like I said, what is the word violence mean? They don't look at you. They don't get it wrong. I said it was the violent that start like that violence means the violence. So I not only is the individual violent but structural violence, really living in violent times. America was built on violence. There's only one civilization that did not build on violence, but eventually you had to move your society towards being violence, the best it can and that's the process of civility. That's why institutional collaboration is very important because American institutions have violated America's citizens of slavery like no other group on this planet. So we must address the issue correctly, but what happens, you got too many people, I didn't hustling the issue of violence, it's been trying to cure the issue. All these up, just money being poured into these violent projects. People doing some good and noble things, but if you don't know what you're fighting, how you're going to solve the problem. It's a disease and so we really if it's, but until we have a nose, what's going to happen, but we just got to continue to be steadfast and move forward and that's why I'm grateful to come on the Carl Nelson show and to talk to the nation of law and give my insight from the work we're doing in Chicago. And passing, let me just say they say anything because with the sister of a hemer saying all these murderous, these killings of our sister who people who look like them, people are related to them. And when we saw what happened or heard what happened in Shreveport, if you've got those thoughts family or you know someone's going to phone just out to one one, that's the number to call. You know, if you want to check out, check out yourself, you know, I shouldn't put it that way, but that, you know, it was, it leaves folks alone. If you got those issues, again, that number to call is two one one passed down to one one. Thank you for joining us this morning. And thank you always been on the case when it comes to violence. You're always up there speaking out. You've been doing that for years. I just want to appreciate what you've been doing trying to convince folks to join in your crusade against violence. So we thank you again, pastor Williams. Oh, Father, thank you. Nelson, for this opportunity and God bless everybody. Have a peaceful day. God bless. Before you go, though, how can folks if they want more because you offered to help, I think was Mark and Baltimore. How can folks reach you? I make it real easy. My, let me give my phone a 708 690539 708 690539 and people will call me and we'll pick up the phone and return the call. All right. That's it. Thanks, pastor. Peace. Peace. All right, families. Move on eight after the top. The else going marketing expert. Over to Wilkins, grand rising over to welcome back to the program. Good morning. Good morning. You miss me. Yeah, you know, we have this conversation about our young people that they think differently from us. There's, I've seen some reports come out now and at least it's all political. How young people feel about what's going on in the world today? For example, there was a report coming, the polls are coming out and they're looking at the polls. Many of the people who were not supporting Donald Trump, young people, Jannex. And then I saw another report about, though, this is a poll to take into Ohio University and it was like 70 or 80 percent people, you know, the Sunday they don't like what's going on with Israel. They support the Palestinians. Have you ever heard this kind of polling before? What's going on with our young people? Why are they seeing the news? So we see the news and hear the news. It's till they're processing it differently. What's going on there, over to? Well, which is just said, the younger people are processing information of a variety of different ways from a variety of different outlets. Well, we used to, you know, I call the baby boomers and the millennial. The baby boomers got their news traditionally every day at 6 o'clock in the evening or five o'clock in the evening. And that was it. But now the baby's, the millennial's have grown up. One day, I call it 24-hour news cycle. Meaning their whole life, they've seen any kind of, they want to get any kind of what they want to get it. And some different perspectives on what's the topic is. And that's why I think the younger people are more leaning toward the power of things because the traditional way of telling you all these people are bad and these people are doing bad things versus, hey, this is more information than this. And they're getting that more information so they're taking that more information and looking at it from the prism of what they've been told and seeing that it doesn't add up. And that's smart enough to know that goodness that it doesn't add up. And so that's what's going on. It's just a new way of trying to get information that young people have heard it. I mean, they've heard the new age here. It's not coming, it's not around the corner. It's here. And if anybody here have a business out there and you're not getting onto that, what I call the way, then you're in trouble because the whole way of doing marketing or doing sales, the nature of business at all, it's changed. The whole pendulum has changed. The boomerang generation, I'm part of the boomerang generation and proud to say it's a transformation that's happening. The boomerang generation being transferred over to the millennial. And the millennial way of doing business, getting information, air hacking is totally different. Like they totally different. It's a total different delivery system. Sometimes it's same information, but it's totally different than the delivery system. All right. In turn, I have to talk about, I guess there's a marketing natural, it's in real terms. Well, over to this. Is this all because of the internet? It's partially on the internet. I would say 95% is on the internet because, like I said before, the access and the information and availability is such a younger age than we had it. And I mean, more in depth information. It's like they can be variety of newspapers outside of the United States. I'm not going to name any papers, but there's a variety of papers out there that they can access and give a whole different view of what's going on in the world today with the United States. And that's what's going on right now. It's a battle of information. And the information is winning. It depends on which side you are on. That if you declare victory or not. But the battle is definitely there. It's not only traditional. Just pick up there for the map and then look at it and then, okay, they believe us and move on. That doesn't work with the millennials. That's not happening there. They're questioning. They're looking for. They're researching all information. I mean, I've had conversations in groups and I've said something and two minutes later, less than two minutes later, someone went and Google just verified what that thing was true, right? Then they met and when we were going up, that would not. That would be nine thought of. That would not hurt us. So now you have instant verification. I mean, and you see it on TV is fact checking. They can fact check you live. That's what that is. That's the whole transformation before there was there was another little fact checking of anyone making a speech or doing anything of that nature. You know, you make this agree with afterwards, but there was no fact checking. But now the whole concept of information and how you speak to people or try to relate to people in our world and the marketing world, we call it giving our all attention. It's much harder. It's much harder because there's a variety of different ways to go about it. 13th and top. That family just checking in. I guess this over to all the countries of marketing expert is based in the LA. Over to now, I'm going to ask you about influences though. Keep hearing about influences. Did we as an I'm like you part of the baby boomers, did we have influences or just is this part of the internet age as well? Well, we have celebrity. I just use the word celebrity. They were our influences at the time. And you had to be a bona fide celebrity. Meaning that she had a dance in the Jackie Robinson or Jim Brown or three. I do you bar. You had to do something with people that look at you. Yeah, that's the, you know, as far as them. And, you know, that was your influences at that time. Well, that's all changing them. You can have a person whom you don't even know. And that person can have 15 million followers. Why are they following that person? They like with the content that they're providing. But they're not a quote unquote to the language that you would see walking down the street like you would see a magic Johnson or any of those, any of those two of that. That you can go, Oh, look, there he is. That person can walk right by you. You didn't even know that they had that kind of influence. And influencing is a big thing. And marketing now. It's a very big thing. Especially with me, trying to get to the millennial of the Gen Z demographics because that's what they follow. They follow those kind of people. And they respond. I mean, give me an example. I think his name is Paul. The box. The young man who boxed my Tyson and all these people. He's an influencer. That's what he is. Jake Paul. I'm sorry. I didn't try to get to make the world shut up. But Jake Paul, the prime example of a person who is an influencer, who's influenced his way into boxing. They got people to pay that kind of a sponsor to pay that kind of money. The people who do not have any to me personally quote unquote feel something being professional boxer. But it may be to elevate him to the same level as a professional boxer. In generate, millions of dollars. I mean, he generated. He paid people big money. Simply that moment. They did it. And you know, enjoy the fight. 20 million, 30 million dollars. Just to go and win really a fight fight. It was just a stage fight. And but that's what influencing has done. It's all across the country. You see it all the time. And I've been this big because we're looking for young people that can attract.
that we're trying to produce actually. 15 hours of time over when you're you're marketing a product. Is there a cutoff age? You still market into the baby boomers or you're just looking for young people who are out there who you know buying their first home and buying big ticket items like cars and wash machines and and refrigerators or the older folks who have all of that. Are they being ignored in the market? It's not so much ignored. It's just a good way to transition. The market is transitioning right now from baby boomers to money. You see that in like the NBA with the playoff, the play-in situation and things like that. I don't care about the baby boomer then. You know the different ways of trying to attract people to the game or track people to television shows. It's like you want NBC and you have peacock. What's the difference? NBC and peacock. They're the same company. The peacock is a streaming system that you don't need to have traditional cable to get. Meaning I don't have to buy the whole big package that the cable people give me. I can just stream pickup. And that's what they're doing. It's like what happened now. A lot of young people say, "Oh, I'm streaming that." Or binge you know that. Streaming that means that they're looking at shows not traditionally on or delivered by traditional method which is cable TV. You know that's why all these companies are looking at ABC. NBC, CBS. They are transitioning to platforms where they are they free themselves from a cable situation where they can now go back to where they were controlling their own product and content. All right. Hold that door right there. Over to we got to take a short break. Let's look at the political scene this fall. They have to recalibrate their marketing now to get those young people, those young voters. If you were advising any of these parties how to reach young people, what would you tell them to do? How can they get the because the old folks are going to vote anyway. The young people they're not watching as you mentioned traditional media like we do. They're getting their information from somewhere else. So how would you how would your market, if you're a politician and how would you market yourself to these young folks because you need their votes. Family you to can get in a conversation over some wealth. So he's a marketing expert. You know, I had a conversation with the president. He just eight hundred four five zero seventy eight seventy six. I'm taking phone calls next. Thank grand rising family. Thank you. Starting your week with us at 21 minutes after the top there with our guest, the marketing expert over to Wilkins. Oh, it's a the question I actually before we left for the break. You know, we we the elections coming up in the fall. And of course all these folks are running for our so trying to get that youth vote that young people as we mentioned earlier. They they politically and socially they think different from us as adults older adults or or baby boomers, if you will. So if you from running a campaign or even just an ad and just trying to buy something what we sort of method would you recommend that we use it to attract these young folks? Yeah, we call it a layered layered approach. Meaning that you have to have traditional. You have to have digital. You have to have on the ground without reaching the politicians. And I would tell you politicians that they know to definitely invest in a robust digital campaign to go on after the young of vote. Like we said before, I mean, not to take it for granted. But baby boom is a little vote that we voted traditionally either standing in line or mailing in our ballots, but we're going to vote. And the young people are voting too, but the whole mission now is a political meaning like you said about the Palestinian situation. They're taking individual situations and after that, the rallying there support around. If you are, quote-unquote, a politician and your support of other country that don't align with your belief system, then it's a good chance that person not going to get that young person vote because they're looking at a myopic sense of voting. Meaning one issue, that one issue is power thought. Okay. Do you against that? Regardless of what all other stuff you're doing, that one issue is not clearly defined to young people. They're not going to cancel you out. Meaning that you're no longer going to be relevant to them as far as they might have done anything to all follow behind. Or vote for. So what you have to do now, you have to have teams of basically digital people, young people. We'll be older digital people also, that who basically are using your platform to reach and to where the young people are, attach themselves to influencers, things of that nature that can help you when you can't pay them. And because of well, why would I use the influencers? Well, believe it or not, you know, you sort of have the last campaign. You sort of the Cardi B. You you sort of, you know, the different athletes and singers and Beyonce, all those people throwing their weight behind different candidates. Well, when you bring on a Cardi B, you say to yourself, behind sheep political, where you know about this, where you know about that. And I have no idea about her political knowledge at all. But she has a robust followers of quite a few million people. And if she says, I'm voting for Ed, then 90% of those people are going to follow her and vote for Ed. So it will be room to tap into that digital influence of the world to give those people, but they already have the followers. They just have, they need somebody to give them a mission. I got to ask you this question though. I understand what you're saying about Cardi B and her followers. And the scene says, I'm voting for X, they're going to follow on info for X. What about AI, artificial intelligence? We've seen that, they've created songs now and singers who made it to the top of the charts and people think they're real people. How do you navigate this, you know, this maze of ideas that are coming out on the internet if you know of the real or not fabricated by AI? If somebody comes up and say something flattering about particular candidate, also something negative about the other candidate, you know, most of the, that's where the young people live. Most of us, it is still using traditional means to get our information. That's where they live. How did they decipher which, if this is real or this is created by AI? Well, that's the scary part of the whole new age of marketing. And in the last day of scary part, it's just, you know, I think the more transition, the AI generation is going to be, like you said, it's going to require a lot more work on your part. I think, oh, AI is going to be easy. You can do this for you. Oh, yeah. From a marketing point very easy. But from a consumer part, now that, now the, I guess the information is now on you to research what you see. Because every time you see something, and I'd be what it is. Like those things, what you see, it's not what it is. Don't believe it was lying on it. That nature, and AI is going to bring that to the forefront. Because it will, like you just said, it will present different products, different people in very flattering ways, very sliding words in the home of New York. But if you don't need a research, then actually find out if that's true or not, now you set yourself up for failure. Because that's the key. And the advertising business, our job is to get you to look at our product, look at our current product, and purchase our product. And that's what we're in our relationship with the consumer right there. But the next thing that it gives behind is finding out from the consumer, what they're real concerned are. And the reason for the consumer don't not research the product, and then you're out of young people, they do that. A lot of baby boomers don't. Can we take you by your word? And that being changed. It used to be your word with your body. Not so much now in the market world. It's a lot of great areas where we can, we can basically nudge the, the good and the bad. So that's why I'm telling people, please research for you to get information that comes to you, either through about some security, about tired, about anything. Research it first because the AI movement, like you just said, is easy for them to generate a song or even that nature. And you think it's true. I mean, it looks real and let you know in the business like I am, or you're in an audiovisual business, you can see the AI product. Because this AI means it is made by humans. So it is always a glitch for a mistake because they're pasting stuff together. So unless you have that fine eye to see, oh look, you move the cup, the concept in the cup didn't move. That's impossible to happen, but that's AI. You can do that. And vice versa. So AI generation in here is going to be with us. Just like I said, it's transforming marketing capacities now. A lot of people say, I don't need a marketing person to like to get AI. AI is just what you put in it. It doesn't do anything else, but what you put in it. Created for creative wise. No, it doesn't do anything creatively. It doesn't take your information and re-urgitate it into something that you want like to see. That's all it does. It has to have human input for the world. Yeah, so let me ask you this. So folks who think about marketing, and they want to, you know, exclude your side of the business, get a marketing expert. They say, we're going to ask chat GPT to write this. Or we can use AI to create the visual aspects of it. We don't need anybody else to do it. Or you do store the information in it. And it'll spit out something that seems polished and acceptable to the public. How do you see that? Is this a job thread for you? Or do you see that you can you can get involved in that as well? Well, everything's a job thread to you. Every day we wake up to do something that can change you. But the thing about marketing is not just the limited system. It's the research information behind the limited system. AI can, like I said before, take what you say and put it in there. Okay, now you have this. Let's say you have this.
add. Now, do you know how to place the ads? Do you know the best place to add? Do you know where your ads are going to get the most disabilities? Do you know what platform is the best for your ad or for your demographic? There's a lot more things than just putting the ad in the throw up on the wall. That's what a lot of people do. They get an ad in the hotel. Put in the moon statement. Okay. Who's your demographic? I'm looking for 18 and 18 and 25. 18 and 25 are going to read the news statement. You just wasted $23,000. Yeah, but let me jump in here for a second over to. But you can ask a G G B T to do that. You can say, I want to I want to reach 25 to 45 year old single man who likes sports. And where do I go? How do I position this? And how do I how do I write it to attract that particular cell of persons? And you can still do that, but you still have to have, can I get it online? Can I get it to the right platform? It can tell you what go on. Let's let this you pick out of NBC or any other book. Okay, let's go on that show. Okay, what time frame do you want to go on? Okay, but you're going to reach people at different time frame. Even if you say I want 25 to 54 or I want 18 to 18 to 25, which shows you what I have? You know what I told you. Okay, go let's say I say you want 18 to 25. Let's go on ESPN. Okay, what time do you want to go on ESPN? I'm going to ESPN with talk show. I'm going to ESPN when there's a game. I'm going to ESPN when there's a follow up on the game. So there's still that person has to say, where did you want to fit in? But it's been out. Where's your budget? Go. How do you how do you place your budget in the budget area? Where you want the money to go? Do you want to be having on this side and lying on that side? Or do you want to go all in in the middle? So it's still the human factor. It's still available and needed. But the red work I guarantee the leg will be definitely a lot better. You know, we try not to use too much AI because you can, you know, they have now have AI fact checkers. Meaning you think you wrote something and people say, oh, he's a genius. He wrote this. They can fact checkers find out. No, he didn't write it. AI wrote it. And so now your credibility goes out the window because it's all based on credit. And that's the best thing about I like it. I have nothing against it because I think it's just transformed my business to a much better situation because we get help a lot more clients and also get back copies to them that we can say okay. Instead of taking us two three four days or I copy for personal and take two three hours and we get a response by following that they like it and then we can move forward to the next step. So I'm not you know, not that works. I mean on my side, I'm more close to the retirement side but I am to the just getting into the business side. But if I'm just getting into the business with a young person, all that is just like from what I grew up and what I and the trick of doing the marketing business is it's night and day. It's night and day. The change that you think and the availability and what they can do is night and day. So I got to ask you 20 28 minutes away from the top of the family just drawing us. I guess it's over to Wilkins. It's a marketing expert telling some of the changes in the industry now that we're going through. Oh, to me, have you ever had a client that dictates you? This is what I want. This is what and you know, he's paying the, he's running the check to you and he's telling you to do all I want. And you know, deep in your heart that, hey man, that's not going to work. I got a better way to reach the people that you're trying to reach. How do you deal with that particular situation? I think one of my friends told me a long time ago and I kept it in my mind all the time. You have to always manage your plan, expectation. And then expectations and you have to tell them what they say and what you just said. What's going to happen? And you can tell them, okay, we're going to go on with your program or do it, but this is what we think we should do. And it will go on with your program. And if it works great, if it doesn't work, you can say, let's take a little bit of what we tried to explain to you. Sometimes people in their heart, you know, they think one way is the only way to do it. And they find out after they spend their money that it didn't work out the way they should have gone work out. So it's like going to a dentist or a doctor or anything else. In that time, put myself on any of those platforms. But when you come down to what the services or the knowledge that you have and the marketing department, the marketing world and a person trying to tell you a different way, you can open to it. It's their money. It's always the client's money. So you always want to go with the client's field comfortable. Because at the end of the day, if it's central swim, it's on the client. We just think of them options and they choose option they want. Then they bought that option. It's like, you know, there's nothing we can do about it. But we try to inform them the whole way down the line. It's going to work for them. But we think we'll work for them when they go to the best paying for their dollar. But they feel like they want to get their best paying for their dollar so well. So we're going to put it in their pool because the client is the boss. That person gets to choose at the end of the day, hiding what their products are their content displayed. And we have to follow that. But again, I always go back to the fact that we manage their expectations and tell them, you know, if you do this, this could happen. We do that, this could happen. So when it happens, nobody can scream in the hall because we basically manage their expectations, what they can expect to get from, you know, what kind of response they're going to get from the money that they've been. Gotcha. 26 away from the tough out of the over-the-earth of the world. There's a market next to it. Overton, we talked about marketing to young people as opposed to us. Is it a natural that the younger folks are different in their social and political views from us? Because when we're growing up, my house, everybody with my parents were like Martin Martin Luther King, the picture of the king up there for me. It was Malcolm. We have these discussions about what Malcolm wants and what Martin wants. We want his better. My father told me that Muhammad Ali, it should be Cassius Clay and all of this. His name is Muhammad Ali. I don't know if he did it just a week, some sort of a conversation we could have in parent and son. I'm looking back on it now. If he really thought that Muhammad Ali should have kept his name the Cassius Clay. So these are the conversations we had. But at the time, we seem like a parent and a young person growing up. Then when you become a parent now, you see that your children have varying ideas that almost, diametrically opposed to what you have, socially, political, even with sports. Is this what we've seen? Is that dynamic a play or is it just something that's totally different? This generation that we're here now is just totally different from when we grew up. Yeah, well, it's similar to what the pastor you had earlier was saying about violence and how it had this country's violent. Well, it's the marketing. You know, everything is marketed to young people in a way of trying to listen to some from, you know, the money's trying to say that I always kind of grew the pastor's marketing. The violent, it's been violently marketed to us. You know, me like think of them, you know, the young people seeing that, you know, violence is the way, you know, I hate to use that way, but they see that. Like they see it in the movies, they see it in the politicians, they see it in the school, they see it in the family. It's just like the pastor in the standup that people heard earlier about the young lady that was killed by her son, okay? That's something that didn't normally happen. You know, the violence in this country is being marketed to it every day through movies, television, through music, everything. And what do you think you're going to get into today? You're going to be a violent person. A person that can move more open to violence because it's been marketed. Peace is not marked maybe. We notice the most first thing is peaceful marketing. Like movies don't get marked peacefully. It's always violent movies are the number one movie in the country. And that's because we are acceptable as a violence in the country. And the young people are seeing that every day and that's how they, they look at their prison moment, they look at I spoke to the young people who just lose themselves from a civil rights movement. And some of them leave it a lot that we don't need that anymore. And because they have moved away from, you know, a distant kind of thing. Hold a thought right there. We got to step aside. We got to move away too. We got to check the news traffic and we're in different cities. When we come back though, whose fault is that? Or is that somebody else's fault? That's one question I want to ask you. Also because you talked about the images that are created and violence and hip-hop, the music. Who created that? Why so much violence in that? Was that done organically? Or was it was a group of folks decided this is how to market to get black people angry at themselves? Family YouTube can get in on this conversation with over some real things. You know how to reach us 800 450 78 76. We'll take you for our calls next. And grand rising family. Thanks for starting your week with us at 15 away from the top there. I guess it's over some Wilkins. So it's in this marketing expert and discussing how to market to our young people. They see things differently politically and socially as well. Before we go back to know them, just remind you kind of believe this morning with speaker's psychologist Dr. Jerome E. Fox. Later this week in here from the news sister Pam Africa also traditional and holistic doctor Dr. A will be with us. And chairman Fred Hampton also join us. So if you're in Baltimore, keep the radio locked in tied on 1010 WLB or film the DMV area. We're on 14 15 WL. All right, over to him. Let's talk about the differences. So you know, we're talking about the civil rights air. Some of the young people that you spoke to and have had that conversation as well. They don't understand the civil rights here. They think that
uh. american was is like it is today now donald trump is rolling back the the pages quite a bit because they had a black president so that they feel we arrived how do you do with that situation well it's it's it's it's it's funny in a sense of that it's a marketing campaign it's like they've been they've been markedly to all this time to to assimilate to join in and to be part of and they've been quite for our hard work that's been achieved in a sense of able to work in you know law and sports management all the traditional business that were hard for pre-1970 people to get into and now that that that the door we have open the door and they walk through when they walk through unharmed like they didn't have to go through any at least we say you know hard hard times really i mean it has an individual hard time but it's a dynamic hard time now they've been able to walk in and achieve success and sometimes in your case that way you forget that people may be foundation for your success that they get success built on your own uh. you understand that that that that that's the fact that anything and the young people that are the problem i thought that i'm all behind whatever they want but that disconnect right there it was scared me the most of anything else because you're falling into line with but the power of one to the fall in line with which is money which is capitalism which is consumerism that's what they want you to fall into and that's what a lot of young people falling into taking back you see online insurance or stinking that nature but you see other people who do who use their instagram is sort of the hard living life and this is the life you should have with the car is in the money and all that and a lot of that's fake but people think it's a fact reality it's a bit they strive for that and sometimes they reach it and sometimes a lot of them they don't and it's not that you get to disconnect the world is bad it's not fair and things about nature because they're going to think that everything's going to be fair and things are legal and when they get out in the real world they find out it's not quite that way well that's only probably right there with young people and that I'm behind the money but we have a lot of young people that we work with with our associates of ours and their ideas and their and their methods are new to me but they get results and I'm always surprised by it because we've been in the meeting sometimes and people say we should do this to connect with that and my own baby boomer comes down to us nobody's going to pay attention to that and I go back to a quote I remember when I first got into sales I was in Washington DC and I used to work for district television before the game I don't know if the transform into now but I remember talking to the gentleman and he asked me to come to his house and explain him cable TV and he said to me he said this will never work nobody ever going to pay for television and I said there it says okay and today you can see we all pay for television to change you may not think it's one change you may think that's not going to be the way it's going to be but it will change you don't change with it it's going to go right past you and no need for that I mean the opportunity for everyone I hear is great but young people I'm seeing a more leaning towards identification politics and I guess it earlier they identified with one my object issue and that's the day they stole premises all right tell me away from the top of it let me jump in and ask you this question though how much of this is predicated on the fact that they're trying to you know erase our history so our young people don't know about a history you mentioned the civil rights era they don't know about it this is done being done deliberately it's not just impacting us it's impacting everybody because they think we you know we can't make it without help the D.I. effort as well so how do we how do we get these stories the struggle that as you mentioned earlier that our ancestors had to do so so some of them now can enjoy because they think it's just the way the world was all the time and it wasn't and and many of them again awake up called now so how do we how do we deal with that well it's going to be interesting it's actually seeing face-to-face talking to young people that's something we don't do the same way we criticize young people all of them their face in the screen of facing a wife in the computer or wife in their telephones something like that well we don't and I think parents or as baby boomers older people we have to actually reach out and and explain to them what's going on and connect with them at their level and since the nine thing or the no sister or no cry to be concerted to connect with your kids or whatever but actually have that conversation with them you know just if you're if you're watching the latest play the felt it you have a conversation with your people your children and your young adult you know you have to sit down actually talk to them because they're really open to hearing it but we don't communicate we are we're in the same bind and everybody else in the fact that we've brought forth their eyeballs from the computer and from the telephones and not actually sitting down with the opportunity that in our or I had any kind of function that we had and having that conversation with them and sharing with them because when we share the stories and tell them how hard it was about what we call a no-black dictate and they're like what I see it used to be in what they call a no-black dictate meaning companies actually told their agency not to buy black radio black newspaper but anything of that nature they told moving when our our product wasn't there and people didn't know that was happening we used to go and buy no-thing products you know not knowing that they were telling there are ad people not to pay black radio like WL or anything like that any ad dollars and so they always think now that well why why United big is kept in set and set well you don't understand the history of reason why we're not that big it's because of that situation of going on that you would never heard about it because you never spoke into someone in the advertising or marketing business actually sat down and asked some questions like well how come we can't do this how come we couldn't do that back then we couldn't do because it's already dictated as the word said not to buy your own it meaning we don't want our product to be listened to we don't mind if they go purchase it but we don't want to be seen as supporting a black company that's talking to black people that's what will happen again so we tried to explain that to the young marketing people never really like I never heard that never seen it because it was never written down like in black and white words for you to see but you found that out very easily when the marketing anybody out there was in the marketing business in the 80s the 70s 80s and 90s they know that word they know exactly what that meant but we didn't run around telling the whole country about it it wasn't like we could do you know about it that's just a situation that existed at that time and then goodness that's not there but again unless we explain that share that with young people they'll understand that they think we just didn't try or in the word of infamous Kanye West you know it was a choice it wasn't a choice it was a lead case and it's nothing we can do around that there's nothing we can do to get that kind of money so that's what we're I say if you have young people in your home if you connect to the young people talk to them share with them your experience share with them the information because the information they're getting is that we didn't try or we didn't we could have done this this way or why do we do it this way not understand the whole context and what was going on at that time so that's the biggest problem I think they don't understand the context of where we were back in the day to where we are in the day world we just totally you know if you're a young person you can't even imagine someone telling you that or a business saying that they're not going to buy you because you're black you can imagine that today you know yeah but hey let me jump in here six away from the top they say so how do you deal with with DEI though because you know they're the other folks you said that we can't do anything without we're getting a special break and you heard what one of those guys that said well that's Charlie Kurt before he died he's told him when he's on a plane and he's a black pilot he's concerned he's anxiety level increases because he didn't know if that pilot is qualified enough forget about the pilot to have the automisers uh this uh um probably the automisers around the to the to the to the moon around the few weeks ago but he's saying that he and this is a prevalent thinking amount some some of the trumpsters as well that we we're not qualified to even carry a loaf of bread we can only do it because we you know because we we we we we got it we got a little break and then there's a feeling of it and if we get something or we achieve anything it's taking something from them how do we how do we cross that bridge how do we navigate that bridge that that's a bridge that I always say it's not for what our community problems is their community problem because they don't want to look at the facts and see facts and opinions are different you can have your opinion but facts and facts and I say that in the sit in the sit amount they have all the programs in this country that were developed none of them have been really geared after the American they've been sold and marketed to the masses is something that's going to help African Americans to get African Americans to point for this passage or for its acceptance but you can go back I mean knowing the book you were what affirmative action that was just now used to be the book you were a affirmative action we give all the jobs to black people the only people that really really get off on the affirmative action world white women they were the most beneficial people of room of activity the same thing with D.I.
didn't think Martha did say, oh, you're giving the black people a break. If you look at DEI, it's not just black people. It's just handicapped people. It's white women. It's different groups of people. It's not just for black people, but it's marketing. You know, anything to destroy you's marketing is for black people. Everybody loves it. Everybody, the dashboard about how, the most tiny people will say, oh, we're against it. You know, it's just like snap. It's like anything else. They put the picture of a black family, blind soldiers and champions and things with that nature. We've got to stop these people from using this money for that. But they won't tell you that the majority of people will snap are white people. Not black people. There's no programs that have been made to help quote unquote black people. It's been marketed to seem like it will help black people to get the passage of the folks that needed to get it done. When you read it, when you read it, and you restart it, you find out this is not a black, you know, this only for black people. All right, and I'll let you finish your explanation on the other side. I think a quick check of the traffic and weather in our different cities. Three minutes away from the top. They had over some Wilkins. He's a marketing expert. You want to speak to him? Reach out to us at 800-450-78-76. We'll take your phone calls after we check the traffic and weather. This next. Thanks for starting your week with us. I'm going to tell you we're going to join by Dr. Jeremy Fox. You're just kind of conscious. His best setting book, of course, many of you know it. Addicted to white, you know, pressing, legally, the oppressor. A shame based on lines. When I finish up with over some Wilkins, a marketing expert. So, over to them, I'm going to finish your thoughts. Well, I was just saying, you know, this is changing what we see in the political world. I was tempted to take a look at this as an example. You see right down the civil rights bills being under attack, being rolled back. And this means the attack is a marketing attack because they have to soft sell the reason why we have to roll back. And really, the impetus of the reason why they're going after the civil rights act is not just about the black people. I mean, yes, we're always going to talk to the charts and going after it. But the real thing is immigration. The immigration and civil rights are tied together in a sense of the rights that people have. And when they did the civil rights bill, it wouldn't just black people, it can do this and black people can do that. No, they've already been wearing open that of a rising in people to speak. And if you look at our country from 1965 or 1970, when you start seeing a small influx, and a large influx, and a much larger influx of people from different countries coming into the country, they will protect the buy of those same civil rights. Now we have, that we receive the reform, we voted for, we've led for it. They had a chance to enjoy the fruit of it. And that's what that's what they're going after it now. That you can, the marketing of it going after it. No, the national civil rights bill is the first thing in their mind. It's black people. You've got to be a psychoan, let me tell you, like, should a person of color, what's the first thing they gonna say? Oh yeah, that's the problem. And that's what they do, and that's the marketing campaign now. Let's be really black people's right. The question is black people, if I'm gonna write. How many of them are gonna ask you this quickly though, over to, is that a good thing for our young people? They don't believe what we had to go through or what our parents went through. Is this good that they're rolling back these issues now so they can get a taste of what it's really like? Some are in some of them, not all of them. Some are in a slumber of feel that it's the country. You know, what they went through previously before Donald Trump was how the country was all the time. So is this a good move for them? Well, I never once see our rights roll back, but it is what I call right now. Because this thing is real time. Things of, you know, our opportunities didn't cut off. They actually seeing it now. They're seeing the rollbacks and the entertainment business. They're seeing the rollbacks and the educational business. That's what it is, educational business. Don't people even want to make that mistake because that's the financial situation in this country. So I understand this thing. They're seeing those things roll back. And they're finally getting a wake-up call, because that's why you see a lot of them turning away from the Rau Rau America first. You know, make America great. And then the marketing campaigns and find out, "We didn't have any basis for me." It was just a campaign slogan. And now, they're starting to see that. That's why you see a change in the voting pattern, which you just said earlier in the conversation about the polls coming out. People are changing. Those same kids board into the America first and make America great again. I call it marketing campaign. Because it gave them all the things that they wanted to hear. They were getting more money, be more free, less taxes. They heard all those. But they didn't need the contact of it. The big beautiful bill. They didn't need the contact of it. They just started with, you know, slipping. They're going to help them. But now, knowing that the overall bill is going to destroy them. You know, so that's why I say, "Young people out there, you know, we have to talk to them." Because they're still young people. Their brains are still forming. And the marketing campaign has been put on them every day. It's serious. It's deemed to believe. Give me your own right. It's like you don't call out your own after this. And you're going to pull the plug. And that's why they're marketing these young people. They do pull the plug on themselves. And it's been so far, I have to say, it's working. And if we don't get involved, we don't just raise our voices more. And they're trying to instead of going to gist young people, and grace young people, and grace their ideas. Even though someone may be different than ours, that's all they need. It's different. Because I know a lot of people out there are different from their parents. And when their parents do up, when we had an awful lot of get-through, that was crazy. You know, they didn't have that. You know, we had that. We had the black power movement. They didn't have that. They thought that was attacking them. They were going to get us in trouble. They'll make the whole quote, dumb society mad at us. That kind of mindset was there, and we worked through that mindset. We were able to transition to what we are today. And the young people were with past and the baton of them to do the next step. But we have to educate them and understand it up. Look at the whole picture. Not one mile out of the view. We're here. We didn't get here because we weren't trying or we weren't working hard enough. That was the kind of stuff that you get into the stage. But you're at. You know, they're making the way they walk in and make great money. And their first job and have opportunity for jobs. They think like you said earlier that that was always the case. And it's not always the case. But we don't share the bad part with them. We hold that back. It's not. Even that the shame to be just giving people more information so they can have a better context of what they're working with. And that's what I see happen. I try to do that with my family, my child, my niece and nephews. I tried to explain to them, you know, don't take this for granted because they can be taken away. You know, because I had a conversation before I leave, I had a conversation with a young person that said, "Well, how can we even have a house and we even have this and we don't have the same thing that my friend and college did show me here?" Well, they don't understand that when their dad came home from World War II or something like that nature, they were allowed to get the GI bill to get a house and start the family wealth. That's what family wealth comes from on in their homes and land. That was the only group of people who came back from World War II that would deny that was after the market. And that was to keep us from not having our foundation to have wealth. And now we have young people today questioning why Grandpa didn't have a house or how to move in and have a house. You know, they don't understand the context of even what you didn't have because they only moved in. Well, I'm going to switch over to Dr. Fox over to him. Before we let you go, though, please, he talked about your friends and relatives. So please shout out to your mom in Temple Hills. And let me just say, and you can tell the entire family about your mom before you go out. Let you get into that. Well, my mom is my heart and my mom is a lifelong Washington in. She caught two of the teacher and a counselor for public school system. And my mom will be turning 99 and make and she is still is feisty, is still is functional. She doesn't drive because you don't want to drive because she thinks you can get out there. But when I know that's not going to happen, but she's, you know, she's good. Well, I mean, she still talked about traveling. She's still like the gold plates. She still makes church every Sunday. You know, and she's filled and she mentors all my my nieces and nothing which are great. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren and great grandchildren. But she's mentoring all the time with she and them that information. But she was a product of the movement. She was part of the civil rights movement. And she did it today. She watches the news every single day. She comments to me every single day of what's going on and what you need to be doing. You know, so I shout out to my mom, my brothers, my sisters, my, my wish friends from high school and college that got it in. I got a shout out to my archbishop, Pearl, friends and colleagues and, and players. They grew up together. So again, my hardest feeling DC. I just had my living LA. All right. Thanks a lot to say hi to your mom. All right. All right. That's over to Rulkos, Tony's from LA. Native Washington, by the way, 800, four or five.

so they will follow him because he represent their uh. um. um. racism i don't think we have to call a thing a thing uh. i think they have been for ever one thing to have that perhaps ever since the civil rights movement and maybe you can before them they've been wanting to have a leader of this nation and that is so um. openly uh. racist and uh. as i say in my book one of the first uh. characteristics uh. of our of the white oppressor is this this uh. i'm trying to turn to it real quick is this desire to justify uh. their whole mentality uh. because it's a bit it all begins with the mind and if they if they are are secure in their um. view of the world uh. i guess that to them everything is okay even if their poor stupid uneducated whatever as long as they can hold on to the best their identity which is rooted in racism they're fine and he knows that uh. he's a dummy but he's smart enough to know that if i'm going to keep my uh. uh. followers be they thirty three percent of this nation or forty percent of this nation i've got to uh. uh. um. you know be it all with these cultural so-called cultural uh. issues they all revolve around racism and in their minds is going to see their racist there uh. a grand wizard uh. racist in chief they're okay uh. as i said the world has paid a uh. on page eight forty six of my workbook uh. the world has paid a catastrophic price for ignoring the cycle pathology of white oppressors white oppressors are personality disordered individuals who are are unperturbed by their symptoms of their disorder though they uh. though they're behavior a cause considerable hardship for the targets of their hatred they systematically feel to correct the distorted lens through which they view the world indeed their lenses are framed so snugly by their personal and cultural identities that to change spectacles would feel like self annihilation so these saying white oppressors narcissistic sociopath clinging fiercely to the ideology of white supremacy uh. uh. these uh. which is the the essential organizing principle of their psyches promoting basic cohesion and race based pride among its adherence regardless of age gender socio economic status or religious and political affiliations and that's the crux of it and until we uh. um. realize this confront that fact uh. people uh. these pundits or whatever are always wondering why are these people still sticking with um. trump you know their poor their their rule their poor their ignorant whatever well here's the answer because he's a damn racist and they are racist and he and they've been longing for that of forever to have for decades to have of racist and chief in the white house and no more complicated than that but having said that we get that but what about those who call themselves religion or uh. religious or white and valiant i think i sent you i don't know if you've got that uh. uh. a list of scriptures that describe um. trump and um. i sent it to linda and uh. his followers let me first say that uh. uh. this nation claims to be religious uh. but it has never uh. been a christian nature uh. nation not even from its inception uh. no christian would be in slaving other people and particularly in the cruel way in which uh. we were uh. treated as captives so it you know we need to disobey our self of this notion uh. best been as your uh. previous guess market uh. which they marketed to us that uh. you know the and the all the stories about the puritans and all this other nonsense who are slaughtering the native people uh. here while they were so we don't call praying on the news this this nation has always been a nation of hypocrites of people who put themselves uh. uh. before god and certainly money and creature comforts before god uh. uh. the whole institution of so-called slavery or what i call captivity was really had a financial economic uh. motivation um. any business and farming is a business uh. will tell you any business person will tell you that their greatest expense tends to be labor uh. hold up all right there dot we got to get a quick break here let we pick it up on on the marketing expert about labor as an expensive looking at slavery if you will seventeen minutes of the time they are family want to get in on this conversation uh. doctor Jerome Fox reach out to us at eight hundred four five zero seventy eight seventy six and we take a phone calls next uh. uh. uh. and to just miss of this being a christian nation well let me tell you is that is that why they got reparations uh. doctor Fox the the the owners of slave owners got reparations for lose after the anticipation as i was about to say that the uh. let me just mention this is about labor labor it is the visit a big is expensive any business including farming uh. so people who are greedy and and unethical are always trying to find ways to violate uh. what Jeremiah uh. chapter twenty two verse thirteen says will unto him that bill that his house by unrighteousness and his chambers by wrong that use his neighbors service uh. like trump u_c_ to ukrainian construction workers uh. without wages and give him and not for his work the christian bibles is will onto those kinds of people however uh. these monsters that we've had to deal with from the inception of this united snakes of america have always tried to find ways to violate that point and other words not to pay for labor and they're still doing that today that's why i'd love these uh. mexican immigrants believe it or not uh. uh. that they can control their uh. they don't stop uh. them coming here but they just want to be able to control the of the flow because they use
of the Mexican, where a worker is for cheap labor. So they're constantly looking for some kind of system to replace their system of so-called slavery. So by that, if you can't live by the principles of your own religion, then you're not a, an exponent of that religion. They've claimed to be religious. They have used religion as a cloak to justify their wickedness, but they have never, not even from, once again, not even from the beginning of this nation, have they ever been a Christian nation. And to this very day, we have fallen for this idea of calling, and I believe the last time I was on air, calling these demons, Christian, so-called Christian nationalists, white nationalists. They certainly are so-called white nationalists, but they're not Christian. They are white nationalists who call themselves Christian. And I would, to cover their evil in the same way that they so-called evangelists, these white evangelists. They're not Christians, they're not evangelists. They are people who call themselves Christian. That's the most accurate way to describe them. They call themselves Christian, and I would add to cover their wickedness. So once again, no matter what sector of society, you find the white racist oppressors, as I said in my description, it doesn't matter whether they are male, female, their age, whether they're ritual poor, so-called Christian, or somebody other or harry Christianers, it doesn't matter. They put themselves first, they will abuse anybody else and to be able to uplift their own status of living, but above all, they are not Christian. And we need to get that solidly in our minds. - And you also listed a bunch of, I guess, Bible verses to one of the school, what you just said. - Right, exactly. Yeah, can you share a couple with those panelists? - Yeah, I mentioned to you, I said, who is described and worn by these biblical scriptures, a dine-owned mouth condemnedly, not I, God said, but yeah, a dine-owned lips testify against the batch Trump. A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul, Trump again. Behold, God puts no trust in saints. The heavens are not clean in his sight. How much more abominable and filthier is man, which drinks iniquity like water, that not him that is deceived trust in vanity, because vanity shall be his recompense. Those things are describing Trump and people like him. The his followers are described in the Bible this way. They that observe living, lying rather vanities, forsake their own mercy, that's from Jonah. They have set up kings, but not by me, me being God, of their silver and their gold, have they made them idols. For this country, money is their God, and has always been this country's God. For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind, that's from Hosea. I have seen also in the so-called prophets of Jerusalem, a horrible thing. They commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen also the hands of evil doers, this is Trump supporters, that none of his wickedness, God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The Bible has a lot to say about truth, and fact God is true. Well, therefore, thou shall not make the any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, of that's from Deuteronomy, Deuteronomy, less ye corrupt yourselves. For ye saw no manner of image of the Lord on the day that the Lord speak unto Moses and Horop out of the midst of the fire. So these images of Trump trying to play Christ or being so-called embraced by Christ, and that phony picture of a white boy, so-called embracing Christ is just that a complete fraud, but you're not to be making any images of a rather really black or white of Christ, God, the angels, or anything above. We have no conception of what these beings actually look like, and the descriptions of Christ that we have in the Bible are all pointing toward him looking as black people look today. So the whole thing is just false. And interesting in this whole, as they say, with the Pope, when the Pope was responding to something that Trump had said, and one of his interviews, you saw behind him a picture, supposedly once again of Christ, but that picture was of a black man as Christ. I don't know if people noticed that as the Pope was speaking. So this is all kind of like, foolishness people will try to, people from the beginning of time have tried to use the authority of God to justify a religion, to justify. (upbeat music) (upbeat music) - And grand ranting, family, thanks for starting your week. We've been doing this 20 minutes after the top day with a guest, Dr. Jeremy Foxch, his psychologist, Dr. Foxch, before we left you discussing the labor enslaved instances, it was harder than it's been. - To just miss of this being a Christian nation, well, - Well, let me tell you what, is that why they got reparations, Dr. Foxch, the owners of slave owners got reparations for lose after-lancepation? - Well, as I was about to say that, the, let me just say this is about labor. Labor is the biggest expense of any business, including farming. So people who are greedy and unethical, are always trying to find ways to violate what Jeremiah chapter 22 verse 13 says, "We'll unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness and his chambers by wrong, that use his neighbor's service like Trump used Ukrainian construction workers without wages and give him not for his work. The Christian Bible says, "We'll unto those kinds of people." However, these monsters that we've decided to do with from the inception of this United Snakes of America have always tried to find ways to violate that point and other words, not to pay for labor. And they're still doing it today. That's why they love these Mexican immigrants, believe it or not, that they can control their, they don't want to stop them coming here, but they just wanted to be able to control the flow because they use the Mexican workers for cheap labor. I mentioned to you, I said, who is described and worn by these biblical scriptures? Dynon Ralph, condemned thee, not I, God said, but Dynon let's testify against the Batch Trump. A fool's mouth is his destruction and his lips are the snare of his soul, Trump again. How much more abominable and filthier is man, which drinks iniquity like water, let not him that is deceived trust in vanity because vanity shall be his recompense. I don't know if people notice that as the Pope was speaking. So this is all, you know, kind of like foolishness. People from the beginning of time have tried to use the authority of God to justify a religion, to justify the authority of God to justify a religion, to justify their evil and wickedness. It's nothing new. All right. 30 minutes at the top of that Dr. Fox, and then in Bunke, Louisiana has a question on comment for you. So online one, and rising, and you're all with Dr. Fox. Dr. Fox, you know, I was reading, I'm not allowed to call when I was reading, and that father is three and 31 in the mouth of your person. And then when I got to a book, and I was reading and I went up on that. What a coincidence. You know, it's so very true. Yeah, it's one of the most important scriptures that a person can read, but whether you're so-called biblical scholar or even Christian, because it's a formula for liberation. Envy not the oppressor. Much of our protest has been steeped in envy. We envy these damn crackers, pardon the expression. You know, man, modeling our lives after them. And that's a problem. Yeah. You know, we are our own culture. Now, I was not taught this. You know, and our education still messed up in this country. But we're our own culture. And I used to ask myself, everybody that you know, I'm saying, one, one, one, I never say my dad of grandpa say they're hating them. Oh, one of you will want to destroy them. I say, say, how can I be like that? Because in my heart, I want to go to negotiate and take with everybody. My own brothers and sisters, my neighbor's right on the street. I say, I don't hate a place enough to run a kingdom. I'm my own culture. And I was discussing that with the off-short one day. I say, I say, look, look, you like Carl ison. I say, but this is what we have in the past. I say, come on. I hear everything else on the cow. And he had the last, he had the last, he said, well, we need to try some cow ice, but they all might try it when they, but right now, I'm going to stay with the tribes in the meat. I say, because that's meat in my culture. We didn't eat the cow ice. But you know, the cow is the state of your body. But each culture, it seemed like my wife's brothers and sisters don't want to believe that we are different and got to look at each other. I don't know why we can jade rock at home. Well, I think certainly we, when you sometimes people living among people, even your own relatives, their behaviors teach you more about what you don't want to be, than what you want to be. So even if you don't have any kind of solid grounding in us being a separate culture, I would think that a rational human being could look at these oppressors and quickly conclude, this is not how I want to relate to the world. And the people and the trees and the animals, obviously repacious white oppressors try to, you know, devour. This is not the way I want to relate to the world. Just by observing them, shoot to you how you don't want to be, whether you're religious or not, or really grounded,
and uh. and your culture twenty seven away from the top of the i think slum itself dot dot so what you say to the followers though of donald trump today not read the bible the and those who call himself evangelical christians as well what do you say to those i will tell you uh. um. as uh. let me see uh. i think one of the things uh. right okay let me just read it and with all deceives uh. deceival bonus of unrighteousness and them that perished because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved god shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie that they all might be damned who believed not in the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness for the preaching of the carus to them that perished uh. is foolishness and i added that that's why obviously irreligious people despite how they describe themselves but obviously irreligious people who have no moral core like p_x_s_ and trump feel free to misappropriate scripture uh. scripture to cover up their wickedness and that's not all of the so-called uh. uh. white it even jellicles are doing we're on one day confronted with the choice uh. of letting go you know as the a christian picture says uh. then you have to deny yourself pick up your cross and follow christ well and when they are confronted with that uh. um. um. instruction they choose to follow their own wicked hearts and pretend as if their following christ because uh. the the cloak uh. of being religious has some benefits you know people will respect you believe you et cetera promote you so they don't want to give up the benefits uh. being and uh. and uh. uh. uh. considered to be uh. uh. uh. a religious you know group of people but they don't want to follow the rules of that religion uh. and this is for both of us as well as anybody else uh. catholics whatever they want the benefits uh. of being considered uh. religious without actually doing the work uh. to prove their religion uh. and these so called and evangelicals are no different uh. all that the right there got a step aside from a few months and when you come back i'll take a spout on that and then i'm a question to you then she's all of this was going on a lot of biblical quotes are here from you doctor fox tell us if you think we're in the last days family what are your thoughts you want to get in on this conversation that guest he's a psychologist doctor johm e fox you can reach us at eight hundred four five zero seventy eight seven six and we'll take your phone calls next and rising family thanks for starting your week with us uh. guest uh. doctor dr. dr. omey fox doctor foxes a psychotic is the author of the best selling workbook addicted to white the oppressed in league with the oppressor a shame based the lines that's a part of the best a shame based the lines well it's here this morning we're talking about religion and how don't come stepped into the religious aspect in fact they're going to be some bible readings uh. in at the white house uh. tomorrow some of the uh. so i'm a man and i'll try to get me reading scripture before go back to doctor foxo let me just remind you uh. over the shot at we did a chat about it over to the world to get pride to doctor foxo his mom was ninety nine years young she was in temple health in peachy county also uh. since the son geronis and one of the chartered listeners here she was here when she was turned on the radio station uh. so i'm just celebrating ten years of marriage today so congratulations to both those ladies also later this week you hear from the movie sister pan africa's games and update on the me a book tomorrow i think it's entire week is being celebrated as when we are both tomorrow's week also uh. traditional and holistic doctor doctor able to be here and chairman Fred Hampton also checking so if you are in Baltimore keep that radio lighting tight on ten ten wlb her favorite mv family rolling on fourteen fifteen w o l alright doctor foxe from from which you this research you did about all those big big little skips which is right well let me just to fit uh. finish that by i think that uh. uh. uh. uh. uh. the uh. bible describes uh. these uh. acolytes of trump so so quite all these angeles as walls and chic skins all so as dead bones and white sepulchris or tunes so just remember that uh. i am not a the allusion you know i can read scriptures uh. from the carand or the bible or or whatever and uh. hopefully uh. you know comprehend their meaning uh. i would never put myself in a position of trying to predict uh. when uh. this all will end if it will ever and and um. so that's not an area of my expertise from the reading of the uh. bible it seems to indicate that no one really knows and every time a uh. leader uh. rises up a religious leader a clerk uh. rises up uh. and captures the imagination i guess of their followers by predicting uh. on the end of time it never occurs uh. and i uh. uh. with suppose that's because they're not even following their own scripture that tells them that no one knows uh. the end of time our task here is to uh. our end of time comes into into into into into visually as we die off so i'm mission is to make certain that we are uh. treating this world and the inhabitants of this world right right to sleep and and to me that's my only concern and uh. now let the end of the world take care of itself um. that's really it's not a concern of mine got you sixteen away from the top the G-Pose checking in from silver spring and mail in this online one grand rising the brother G-Pose the question for doctor Fox good morning family good morning ground rising good morning i'm trying to i'm trying to pick the doctor's mind as morning in the old testament when several free the slaves the leader did not i's his people there are people to assimilate they did not i for reparations it doesn't let the land of captivity what's wrong with us and you're pointing that what point being that what are we as a people i've continued to want to assimilate with our useless rather than returning to the land of our ancestors right um. i think you know that self-controversial um. issue i would say that that whether or a uh. um. black person elects to stay here because uh. they feel all they have aren't the right to be here that uh. really this us a is built on the uh. backs of the african people who were bought here not on white folks um. so some want to claim uh. this land because they know they built it up uh. that is economic engine with us built on our our our ancestors uh. free labor uh. captive uh. captive labor so but what there are you choose to be here or go elsewhere uh. i would agree with you and that uh. we should not be trying to assimilate with these demons um. the but we have to understand human nature uh. all human nature uh. white black or indifferent as motivated but basically by a three um. um. you know instincts one and i discuss all this in my workbook one instinct being the pursuit of pleasure and another instinct being avoiding pain and the third instinct being what they call conservative energy.
or just in some instances, just being lazy. So we're fighting those native instincts, the instincts that we've been born with, in other words, to manage all of the nonsense that we're confronted with when we enter this world. So part of it is that people find it easier, in other words, a way to avoid paying and to some degree pursue pleasure to just go along to get along. It's just an easier path for some people. You may not see it. I don't see it. Some people feel that it's just easy to assimilate, in other words, to go along to get along. Others think that it's worth trying to reform what the sea is being wrong in this land. I think only takes people so far. Their efforts to reform is based on a vision of this society that has been defined for them by their enemy, their white enemy. So that doesn't work that well. You make some progress like the civil rights movement, but ultimately the foundation of the nation's ideology remains intact, which is a white, supremacist ideology. And there's a third category of people who are truly revolutionaries, who, that if they decide to stay here, it's on the basis of radical restructuring of this society. They devote their lives to doing that. I can't criticize any of that ladder strategy if people are understanding that there's no benefit to trying to emulate or copy our enemy. If we're going to stay here, we're going to have to be constantly engaged in radically restructuring our environment. That's what we have to, in my view, devote ourselves to. That's why I wrote this whole workbook, because I know that that radical restructuring begins with restructuring our mind and our affection for these people, which we should not have. And I guess that's my answer. All right. Turn away from the topic. I thank you, G.P.O. It's going to each Baltimore Daryl's wedding versus online two, grand rising Daryl, the only doctor fox. I don't like to say I'm going to be a plumber since '16 to '19 real quick. And you tell me who does this describe. Why? It says, "The list 7 of the eight is testable to God." Harkie Eyes, a lion tongue, hands that said innocent blood, a heart that divides his wicked schemes, be quick to listen to evil, a false witness point out lies in a person who stares up conflict in the community. Who does that describe everything? They're double. Absolutely. Absolutely. And for the more you're reading from Proverbs 16, you said? 16 to '19. Right. And Proverbs 17, we want to be a scripture as I sent on Carl. It says, "He that justifies the wicked and he that condemns to just, even they both are an abomination to the Lord." So who does that describe Trump's followers and Trump himself? So the Bible does not in any way support this stuff that Trump and his so-called evangelicals are trying to push at this point, just like drug pushers. The Bible is very clear that it is on the side of the oppressed and not the oppressor. That's right. Well, can I say this right quick? I'll mask it all, especially bad people. We need to stop using the word slave and instead of saying slave, we were enslaved. The first saying slave, we say we were enslaved and slaves are meant because it puts the focus on the act. And when you tell our babies that we were slaves, what does that make them feel like? When we tell our babies that they were enslaved, it's a difference. Right. Stop using white supremacy because it's not the point. It's white nozzles. That's the point. That's it. Well, it's an ideology that is incorrect. I agree with your instincts regarding referring to ourselves as slaves. That's why I used the term captives. As I said in my book, if you don't have it, please get it. Slavery is a state of mind. It is not a physical on state. Our physical state was captivity. Slave is a mentality that, as I state in my book, is consumed with fear and shame. We were made into slaves, if you will, during our captivity. Well, we were never slaves in coming over here. We were simply captives. We were made mentally into a slave, which, of course, this nation took great pains to try to convert us into slaves. Unfortunately, they have succeeded in too many instances. But I agree with your instinct regarding that. So when Kanye says, "Slavery took so long because we must have enjoyed it." He's totally off. How do you see that? We were threatened. As I said, one of the three basic human instincts is to avoid pain. So given that instinct, we were beaten down, so to speak, over the centuries. We were forced fed, as I say, in my workbook, this ideology of so-called white supremacy. So no, it wasn't that you enjoyed. That we were given ribbly no choice except that or death. And unfortunately, our ancestors chose that, as opposed to too many of our ancestors, chose that as opposed to just saying, "Okay, kill me." Before I be a slave, I'll be buried in my grave. I'm going to fight to the death, not to be your slave. But that's not the instinct of most people, most human beings, are about self-preservation. And we're different from many other human beings. So unfortunately, only a small minority of our ranks were willing to put their life on the line. Hold that thought right there, Doc. We got to take a quick break here so our stations can identify themselves down the line. When we come back, I want you to explain to them, they said we're physically, but also when we're beaten mentally as well, to accept. So I'll let you explain that to the family. Folks, you can get in on this conversation with Dr. Jerome Nefarch, reach out to us at 800-450-78-76. And take your phone calls next. And grand rising family, thanks for staying with us on this Monday morning. I guess this Dr. Jerome Nefarch's letter of funds, of course, is the author of the best-selling workbook addicted to white field, pressed in league with the oppressor-shame based alliance. Dr. Fox, we're discussing the Donald Trump's obsession with religion. He's taking on the Pope, his exchange in Bob's with the Pope, and now he's taking on Jesus the Christ. And Dr. Fox, before we left, was saying they're always trying to beat us into submission. And many of you can recall that I guess I've seen from roots where Kuntek Kinte, who they beat him until he said his name was Kuntek Kinte, they said, "No, your name is Toby." And they beat him until he beat it out until he confessed his name is Toby. But we saw that physical abuse. What about Dr. Fox, some of the mental abuse that we suffered? Can you share some of that for us? Well, of course, the physical goal, the physical goal and the mental are not separated. you know, they're intertwined. So you beat a person down.
Physically, you're also, at the same time, attempting to destroy them spiritually. And of course, all kinds of references to keep us ignorant of our history, of our culture, all these things relate to beating you down emotionally and psychologically. And given the fact that our captors had complete control over our education, both technical and spiritual, it's pretty easy to, after a hundred of years of reinforcing their wicked ideas that you and you have no access to any other viewpoint, you're going to submit to their world view, their distorted, wicked world view. And that's exactly what happened to us. You take up people, you isolate them from their history, you separate them from their culture and after a while, it becomes easier and easier to convert them to your way of thinking. Even if your way of thinking is self-destructive for them, you know, and you reinforce that effort with the threat of death, there is, this is why any group of oppressors are so threatened by people who can't be scared. All of our leaders who die trying to seek our liberation were people who were fearless basically. And that's why the system goes after them with all their might because they know if you become fearless as a people, their game is over, you'll do anything to defeat them and probably win as a unit. So their eyes are focused on getting rid of anybody that could inspire the masses of people to be fearless because they know how to fearless people is their demise. There's no way that this nation could succeed and continuing their oppression of us as a people if we as a people on mass were fearless, but we live in fear. I have a quote of that in something I'm writing now with Shaky. I can't, I think it's from the Ezeko, or maybe Jose, but that really reminds us that those who live in fear will really never succeed as a people and unfortunately that's how we're living so to speak right now. All right, hold up right there, I've got a bunch of folks on the talk to you all across the country. Let's start with line one, Christians, colonists from Malibu, you're on rising Christian, your question for Dr. Fox. Christian, you're on line one? I can hear you now. It's a lot worse than what we think and what it is that we have to look at how we up to here to over people. We put on these legs, put on these fake eyelashes and we don't want to show our natural India as a black person. We've got some of these things. That's all based in shame, by the way, but go ahead. That's exactly right. That's what I'm trying to say. And they've always been using inwardly and complex, you know, put on these tongue dealers like Bumpy and Rick Walsh, they put them on the air, basically castigated. They're saying those people and that's the problem. We don't want them to dress the real history. Now we're the book by John, where even when we're talking to a Louisville did, they both don't know what we need to do. That's what we need to do. Take all that makeup off the high picture and Jail's, which I'm killing yourself. Let me just say this, that we get locked into describing the problem. And I say this in the preface of my workbook and we just go round and round and round describing how messed up we are. I've been by our enemies. And it's really futile. Nobody can disagree that the way that we're behaving, particularly vis-a-vis, our white enemies, is not going to lead to any kind of good result. Sadly, it's not going to lead to our liberation. And we can say that in a million different ways that we apparently have been training to do. But that's not going to solve our problem. If indeed we are acting like a sick, distorted people. We have to understand where that's coming from. And beyond that, because if I'm understanding by the way, I will help show compassion toward another. But beyond that, we have to address that sickness. If a person who has cancer wants to continue to live, they're not going to sit around talking about how bad the cancer is day in and day out. And never do anything to address the cancer, to get rid of the cancer. And that's a sad state of being that we are now currently locked into. We love sitting around talking and about the cancer on our soul. But we are extremely, unfortunately, extremely reluctant to do anything about that cancer on our soul. And in truth, there's only one thing that we can do. That is to address it directly. We go around the cows, barns, you know, begging white food through protests after protests and march after march, begging our enemy to not be our enemy. And they keep laughing at us because they have no intention of not being our enemy. And we think that's effort and that's progress. But in truth, the cancer begins with our mind because once again, if we were fearless people, we would be fighting to the death right now in order to liberate ourselves. But because we're not doing that, there must be something wrong with our minds. So let's address this mental issue first and foremost. And it's that issue that we refuse to vote most of our energies to vote. We're voting most of our energies right now to begging our enemy to lighten up. And they keep saying no, slapping you back. No, no, no. And we keep coming back for more punishment. Instead, we need to turn our attention to the state of our mind. And as I said, slavery is a mental state. It is not a physical condition. Captivity is a physical condition, but slavery is not. So we need to turn our attention to decluttering our mind with all those ideas and values that we have been force-fed by our people. And we need to turn our attention to the state of our mind. And we deal with those. But our minds have been twisted to see each other as the enemy and as opposed to our true enemy, the white oppressor. So that too is obviously a mental sickness. And as we address,
at the root, which is our mental state, that the fact that we have adopted the same kind of attitude toward blackness and obviously, therefore, black people, that our enemies have, which is that we are worthless and worthy of nothing but death. So we adopt that and start acting it out. Just as they have over the centuries, no respect for black life whatsoever. And we can, you know, research that history, the history of lynching, even to this day, that people receive, basically, death care that they call health care that result in us behind even in hospitals at a rate much higher than our white counterparts, our black women and die of pregnancy at a much higher rate than our white counterparts. So we've adopted the same attitude toward our black life that our oppressors have. And so once again, that's a mental problem that can be solved if we apply our attention and our effort to what I call in the book, detoxifying our brains of these white ideas that destroy us. Got you. 13th of the top. Tom is reaching out to us. He's in Virginia, his online three. Grand Rising Tom, is your question for Dr. Fox? Grand Rising to the WOL family, revolutionary love. I would just wanted to make a comment, Dr. Fox, I highly respect you. And I wanted you to talk about a subject that we had last week. Many of the revolutionaries believed the necessary strategy of using whatever method to break these chains of oppression. And we were speaking on the Willie Lynch letter. It being a fake. And some of us said it was a great purpose. It did a purpose to break those shackles. I want to know how do you feel about that and knowing that in today's history, the myomyel and Castro are the number one guerrilla warfare, revolutionary ever in history. This is what they say. And they were never defeated. So they used whatever method they had to use to break that and win the war. You can't. Well, I just want to do it. And I just want to and that's all I wanted to say. I want you to comment on that of using that Willie Lynch letter as a strategy, no matter what we had to do, even Harriet Tubman's way of tricking our people as a strategy, no matter what we had to do, even Harriet Tubman's way of tricking our people into slavery and she used the gun and threatened to kill people if they did not come out of force. But I want to comment on that. All right. You mentioned that twice Thomas. You get it. You know, he gets it. Thank you. Thomas. Thanks for your call. Dr. Fox. I did. I wanted to bring them to broach. Let me say that. Let me put it this way that we have also been trained to delight in arguing with each other. And I think we've been trained to do that because that takes our focus off of our enemy. One of the things that our enemy, what enemies want to control is our attention. So if they can focus our attention on bickering and fighting, as you said earlier, killing each other, they are home safe and free while we're doing their bidding for them, which is to destroy us. So we have to ever be ever so mindful of that as a principle that we're not here to destroy one another or to be constantly in conflict and arcane with each other. Obviously, we have to try to persuade each other in the right way. But this desire to, you know, just debate and fuss with each other is misdirected energy. And the way out of that. We got to think of quick break. I'll let you expand on it when we get back. And this is what it's talking about. You have people who follow the A-DOS and foundation of America. He's talking to you right now. 17 minutes after the top of the hour, I think a show break is on. You want to join this conversation with Dr. Fox. Hit us up at 800-450-78-76. It will take a phone call next. I'd rather I see family. Thanks for standing on this Monday morning. Dr. Jerome Fox, Dr. Fox, of course, is the older the best selling workbook addicted to white, you're pressed in league with your presser, as Shane based the lines. A lot of folks want to talk to you, Dr. Fox. So I'll finish up explaining though, because this is one of the five core white values you talked about. I'll let you finish up on that. We love that. And that is the fifth white value, unfortunately, that we engage in. But in response to the brothers comments, the way out of this constant arguing and bickering with each other is to extricate yourself from the argument, get out of that track and then rise above it. We say grand rising. Well, let's implement that. And our daily response to each other, let rise above our enslavement, which again is a mental condition, not a physical one. That we still suffer from rise above it and try to see where there is common ground. So going back to the brothers initial compliments about the Willie Lynch, you can get it barred down into an argument about whether it's read that document. It is real or not, but it doesn't matter because we have another intelligence to realize that whether there was a real with the Lynch or a Willie Lynch document. When you read it, you see the truth in it. How we were conditioned to surrender to this wickedness in these United States of America. So it doesn't really matter whether it's fictional or nonfiction. When you look at what has been done to us, you realize that that method was used on us. So just realizing that extricates you from the argument, let's look at it as a blueprint that whether it was written out or not. It was certainly used, those methods were used to enslave us in other words to capture our minds. So that's one way to just get out of that. Now forget the other stuff that he was saying. And in terms of if you get the book and read my section on fear, the only thing that keeps us from doing what that brother is suggesting, fighting to the death for our liberation is fear. And that's a natural impediment to doing anything that's risky. And that's why you need to put yourself in a boot camp of sorts to train yourselves to overcome their fear. That's why soldiers go to boot camp to train them not only to handle a gun or weapons or other weapons, but it's also to continue.
condition their mind to recondition their mind to overcome the fear enough to confront the enemy. You may never be free of fear, but you learn how to proceed in spite of it. If that takes training and this whole workbook of mine is about retraining our brains to become fearless with a strategy for securing our liberation, but once again it all begins with the mind. 25th of the time there is a bunch of folks going to speak with you Dr. Fox go out to LA's women you deserve to be protected. What did you think about Robert Kennedy and his and that mess that came out of his mouth regarding our children because wife folks if you wanted a war mess with our children and that's exactly what you'll get. And then two I mean three I wanted to know can you tell me where in the Bible that it is. I think that's the right to dictate where we set up or decide we want to live with land. I recall driving to Las Vegas before it was built up so much and that we could see nothing but land. And I remember my ex-husband sent me we were not created to pay for that. We were created to enjoy that. So I'll take my comments off the air. Thank you. Well that's that that's a lot. I can save once again that all of the issues really point to doing something about changing our perspective on our lives and on the people that are attempting to control our lives. In terms of Kennedy's comments here again we may get bogged down into talking about the problem. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do that. So drugs that control hyperactivity. Let's take a look at that as a people not because he has directed us to but because it is an issue. The issue of raising children properly is an issue in our community. Obviously we're not going to hate our children over to people who have an even bigger problem in raising their white racist children. So that's not an issue. But I can almost thank him for being noticed too direct our attention on how we're treating our children. I speak about in the book and something that I've spoken about on this air. And even I think the initial, so I'll call it in. It relates to this as well. About us not having a young, not having a sense of our history and being therefore more vulnerable to whatever this white society hands them to think about it. And to aspire towards. Well, that's our fault because we're not teaching. You can't expect your enemy to educate as Malcolm said. You can't expect your enemy to educate your children. And if we don't do that ourselves, of course, we're going to see the result that we're seeing today. And I would hope if we lived in a society that was favorable to us, you wouldn't have to worry about your child's education because you would know that they're getting a proper education that suits our culture and that is designed to promote their well-being as they grow into adulthood. But that's not the case here. So we have to accept reality as it is and then intervene. But I'm not doing that. So therefore our children are falling by the side or with these wrong ideas about America and how good it may be. Until the show, once again, is turning back the clock. Our anti-black society is and has always been. But our children shouldn't have to be surprised by that because we would have already taught them. So you rise above and see what you can take what people are saying, what our enemies are doing and use it to fortify ourselves. And as you refuse to do that, then what it is to once again sit around and complain about how we're not. You're something to make us a better people. We talk about why aren't our people more like Malcolm X because you have to be trained to be like a Malcolm X. You have to be trained to be fearless. It just doesn't happen automatically. And as a matter of fact, in a hostile society, you have to definitely fight again. The counter conditioning that really not only are children, they're day in and day, but also ourselves. With these phones that we can't get away from that's feeding us all kinds of improper information, disinformation. We ask our children not to fall for it, but we fall in for it. So just take these instances like that Kennedy idiot as an opportunity to re-value how we're not fortifying ourselves and begin doing sit-on. And the only way to be motivated to really counter condition ourselves and our children is to have a desire to do so. And you have to develop that desire under horrible circumstances. And to me, the only way to do that is through a process like the ones that I have written in this work, a concerted, concentrated effort to re-condition our minds so that we're not vulnerable to all this nonsense. 27 away from the top L.A.T. wrongs. There are other men and some bunch of folks who want to speak to Dr. Fox. They're on Los Angeles, though. Dorothy is there online for Grand Rising Dorothy, a question for Dr. Fox. Good morning, Carl and Dr. Fox. My call had recently mentioned the movie movie. And I just wanted to mention that the movie movie when it came out in the late 70s, it was a powerful movie. It captured the brutality of slavery. And that, that creativity for there, but that captivity caused the mental issues that we have today. And I just wanted to point that out. My business was invited to a trade mission by Nelson Mandela in the late 1990s when he became president. 3000 homes built for the community.
in the town of Toledo, outside of Toledo. And when we were going to various meetings, getting up at 5am, packing the van and things of that nature, people were getting up, they were cooking in their little bridges outside and walking, change the tone of mouths every morning to downtown Johannesburg. And with the number of black people in Johannesburg working, it was quiet. You could stop us now. And because of that, our trait mission is that that's how black people were, you know, in the '50s and '60s in the United States. That's exactly how we were. We had to beat down so much. We were weak. We said, yes, man, and more, man. And that part of the issue of what you're talking about, means how it's in that we have. And I just wanted to make that conclusion. Thank you for your input. I feel a doctor, Fox, I'll let you respond to what Dorothy said. We're going to take our last break here. It's 24 minutes away from the top. They have family. I guess if doctors are only fortunate, I mean, they're selling off of the book addicted to white, they'll press in, leave with their press, assuring based balance. You want to speak to them? And we'll take your phone calls next. [MUSIC PLAYING] And grand rise in family thanks for rolling with us on this Monday morning. I'm just on your week with us. And I guess the doctor, Jerome, he Fox, Dr. Fox. I guess a bunch of folks want to touch you. But let me let you finish responding to Dorothy's question about the physical and mental pain that we're going through. And some of us are still exhibiting of residual effects of that torture of human. Right. Well, she was highlighting the residual effects of our captivity. And that's what I deal with in my workbook. I was just simply suggest that she get my work book and then work through it because everything she said, we've been discussing earlier or during this phone conversation. And it's also rooted in my analysis in my workbook. So there's no argument there. Gotcha. 19 away from the top. They have family with Dr. Fox. What are the crimes caused from Baltimore Online 5, grand rising, career question for Dr. Fox? Hey, Pete, Dr. Fox, Pete. I'll call how you're doing. What I've acquainted with, too, is like black people and swimming. And how deep you go into the depth of ocean is how low you'd be going to yourself. So we have to swim 9,000 miles back to Africa to our home land. And if you want me to swim, you have to be willing to be quiet and calm to be around sharks. Because these people are all foster parents. They're not our parents. And once we understand that, we can conceptualize that. You can see that also. But we also have to understand what it is to be like Dr. Jason. Sometimes we get caught into how a Jason, how white to our white counterparts become. And we can build out. I think if you can build out, it builds up. And not having an understanding it could be better than it has been. Well, yeah, precisely. That's the point of my whole thesis in the workbook. Once again, there are three things that oppressors try to control about the oppressed. One is your body. That's why we are thrown into preaching. Often, more often than we ought to be, they try to control your money. And obviously, when you're in prison, you're not early. Whatever work you're doing, it's for pennies. And third, they want to control your attention. And the only way to be free of all these things is to decide number one that you want to be free. And again, to detoxify your brain of that white addiction. Because as you say, we want to be a Jason, we're more into fighting not the oppressor, but fighting in each other to be like the oppressor. The more money, the more money, the more money, the money is their God. It should not be our God. It's their God. Their whole system, value system, is based on narcissism. I'm better than you, or my people are better than you, which is the subcategory of narcissism. Greed, money, money, money, money, above everything else, and violence, and do any kind of violence, social violence, physical violence, to maintain their wicked system, and their position in the privilege in that system. So we have to detoxify our brain from wanting to follow that same world view. 15, wait for the top. They are 800-450-787. The six Marvin's online one is calling from Baltimore. What moment your question for Dr. Fox? Dr. Fox, how you doing today? Yeah. Fine, thank you. You write books, right? You wrote this book, I think it won't. Listen, I can't blame you because your man and business is like everybody else. But I was for the last year's question. I think people can write books just black and put out there for people to buy this black. But you had at the same time, people just trying to buy that book may not have the money to learn that information. Why don't we just give them the books? Why don't we just give them the information that all of us come together as one, instead of writing books and selling to them? I mean, I understand you want to make money in the business, but the people are hurting for information. They need it. Well, first of all, the task of spreading information is everybody's responsibility. Personally, I have not made one cent off of this book. I published it to get the information out to our people and using the available avenues for doing that. If you have the money to purchase this book and read it, it is your task to spread the information. My objective is to get this process of people trying to detoxify from this white system. And I don't really care how that is accomplished. The book is a means 20. And which one? It's again, I have made not one cent off of this. It's just a way of distributing the information that you suggest. And then it's your task. If you have the resources to get the book to spread the message, one of the principal methods I prescribed in this book is for black people to form these groups that I call into blessedness groups that are similar to the Mike AA group, which are all free. So you have the responsibility that you have the resource to get the book or know somebody or can as a group come together and just buy the book, which would lessen the financial burden on any one person, do so. But that's the public. The message of our people's responsibility to do so. Let me just jump in here. Mommy, that's the wrong one person to ask that kind of question. Not only does he not make any money from the book, he pays out of his own pocket to advertise for you to buy the book on this radio station. He doesn't have to do that. All the authors we have on here, not many of them who've told him, "Brother, did it?" When they've got a book, they advertise the radio station so they know that's how they can make people know about their book. So he's the wrong one. 10 away from the top there.
Now, Islamolaykum brother Ali Muhammad Kholas from Richmond, Virginia, your question for Dr. Fox brother Ali Mzon, Lane 3 Kevin. My comment is not personal, not to engian the brother, but all this being talked about has been done since 1930. The black educational system was set up for our people by the most honorable age of Muhammad years ago. Black education, knowledge of stealth, knowledge of others, much of what we are writing about is a waste of time and a way if we want to be honest, the subject matter that your book is about all comes under the teachings of message to the black man. To the black man was a solution to our problem. That we still haven't solved by the way. So we need as much, we need as many soldiers on the field if you want to call this book another soldier on the field as possible. So there is really no contradiction, no conflict with anybody putting themselves on the battlefield and their ideas on the battlefield alongside another soldier be it the message to the black man or some other source even before that by the way. So until the problem is solved, we need as many soldiers on the field as possible. Got you. Nine away from the top here. I'm moneymikes and xn online. Two calling from Baltimore. Money, Mike, your question forgot to Fox. Yes, good morning, Paul. Good morning, Dr. Fox. I'll y'all go a little quick. Morning. Okay, Dr. Fox, you made one statement that talked about it just caught my attention, kept attention. You talked about the mindset that you got a condition and train your mind and that's what the biggest problem is in our community. You all would you think about it. We got to change our thinking. That's the only way we're going to get out of this. We talk about educating our children. It's our responsibility each parent, each grant parent, each aunt and uncle to teach. All of this stuff has to be towards. Thank you, Dr. Fox. Please just comment on mindset. You got to change our mindset, our thinking, nothing's going to change and teach you change your thought. Well, that's what this whole workbook is about. As a matter of fact, you are trying to illustrate even giving examples in the book as we work on recondition or detoxifying from this wide addiction. And more specifically, you value. They have taken captive of our values. We have the same values as our white counterparts have. And as I point out in the book, another black, colleges, late brother, Williams point out that any group of people that can control the value of another group of people are basically in control of that people. We have to change our values the way that we look at this world. And that's why I have identified five white values that we serve until we stop serving those values. We will never be free. Can we run down real quick at those five values? Of course. Obviously values are ideas about what is worth pursuing in life and what isn't. And there's five white values. Starting on page 11 of the workbook, white value number one quickly is basically everything white is good and everything black is bad. That's why we have problems with our hair texture or putting money in resources by these false hair. And just a whole lot of other stuff. But everything white is good. Everything black is bad. And the second value number two basically is that our superior to relationships. So we put all of our effort into getting money if and cheating people, our own people and poisoning our own people in order to get money to buy these things. And we value these things just as our white counterparts do over relationships. White value number three or our response to build a two B our brothers keepers. Brothers and sisters keepers. White value number three, white oppressors are trustworthy, recorders and interpreters of history and reality. That's why we don't challenge their thinking as we encounter it on newscast or in their history and books. We have to start challenging all of that nonsense that they publish to the world. That value number four individualism is better than collectivism and the gay that we have to our own group are subordinate to a personal gain. Once again going back to a white value number two. I'm trying to get as much out of this existence for myself as possible as opposed to thinking about the group sharing with the group. And then white value number five the best way we can feel good about our is by surpassing out doing and defeating someone else in an activity achievement or personal characteristic. And there was I can only feel good when I think of myself as being prettier than you, smarter than you or even and blacker than now which leads to constant competition among ourselves as opposed to cooperation. And if we are ever to defeat these enemies we're going on to have to be unified. We got a good right there Dr. Fox. So we flat out of time. But I thank you for sharing your thoughts with us this morning. Hey family that's it. Classes this may stay strong, stay positive, please stay healthy. We'll see you tomorrow morning six o'clock right here in Baltimore on 1010 WLB. And also on the DMV on 1450 WOL.
