⏰ 3 Players Not To Overthink & 2 Underdog Drafts

A fantasy football draft discussion explores simplified decision-making strategies using Occam’s razor, emphasizing the value of focusing on clear, high-impact player potential rather than overcomplicating evaluations. Players like Buka, Drake May, and Jeremiah Love are recommended as undervalued picks due to market mispricing and strong talent profiles. Buka is highlighted as a high-ceiling wide receiver with elite target potential, especially in a favorable offensive environment. Drake May is seen as a solid, often overlooked option with improved receiving corps and a strong chance to exceed expectations. Jeremiah Love is considered a savvy value pick at a low draft position, given his potential to thrive in a strong offense and the fact that his performance may outpace expectations. The conversation also touches on the risks of overvaluing fantasy players based on injury history or narrative, suggesting that talent evaluation should prioritize objective metrics and context over sentiment. A full-point PPR draft is conducted with a team featuring top-tier wide receivers, a strong running back core, and value tight ends. The analysis concludes that simple, data-driven strategies—like focusing on target volume and offensive context—outperform complex stacking or overanalysis. The segment ends with a lighthearted reference to a new makeup product from Mabelie, New York, tying the fantasy content to a relatable, real-world product. Overall, the discussion promotes a balanced, rational approach to fantasy football drafting, where key players are evaluated based on their actual talent and opportunity rather than market noise or hype.

And today, I might do my first ever full-point PPR draft on Underdog because the PPR Frenchie is still live, although it is nearing a close. And we're going to talk. Shop, a little bit of things we might be overthinking right now. What is the Occam's razor, the most simplest explanation for how the 2026 season could play out as it pertains to these beloved players we draft across 18 rounds on Underdog. I'm Pete with John and Nez, this is off and on the clock, let's roll. All right, we are here with the bros, Nez and John, Nez are those a blue blocker glasses? Yeah, these are phenomenal. I've gone through so many different blue-like glasses and every time I could buy a new pair, they just get. They're like, they get better. I didn't know that the technology could improve or had to improve with blue lights, but these are actually phenomenal. Now that I don't have them on for the show, because there's an intense glare and I don't want to look like I'm larping. It does kind of like. It is a little harsh on the eyes without it, I'm not going to lie. Did you see on After Dark on Saturday, I got nicked up by April on my nose and I had to wear a bandaid. And I think it was easy in the chat. There were people who thought I was stolen valor stealing your nose strip Nez bit, but it was a bandaid. It was a bandaid. I'm not going to lie. I saw it and I didn't say anything, but I was like, "Okay, sure." Yeah. I'm going to go ahead. Okay. - Oh! (laughing) - At least you also have a look at that. This glare is like so intense. You can see my entire office. So I can't, can't dox my entire set up here. - When we were just first year out of university, I had a buddy who was convinced he was giving me the richest man in the world because of these glasses. And like started a company and made them look cool. And like he kind of did like the shady, what was the company shady raise or something like that? - Yeah, some glasses. - Some glasses one? - Yeah, he tried to do that but with blue light glasses and like make them cool. I didn't go very far. - There's so many companies. - So what have you guys been drafting this past week? I'm in the middle of a ton of eliminator slows. Otherwise pretty much just BBMs on stream for me. But what have you guys been getting up to? - Yeah, we didn't pass puppy streets pretty heavily. - Ooh, okay, you know 150 that one or what? - Oh yeah, oh yeah. - Yeah, yeah, working on that, hopping into whoever streaming at night, hanging out with them and stream sniping them. So that was a lot of fun, I was in a jeery lobby last night and he took Keenan Allen from me in the 17th. That was a pretty upset power view. - Is that a reverse stream snipe? - Yeah, I think so. - I think the viewers. - Yeah, he was mad 'cause he was talking of CJ Stroud and I took CJ Stroud and I did his exact plan. He's like, if I take Stroud here, I can probably do like a nice backstack and I did the exact same thing and he'd say he was pretty pissed. - CJ's the hot piece of conversation right now after Dank was spilling the beans on yesterday's show there Pete. - Yeah, he had the post about that. He followed it up on Twitter. He said, yeah, I think people have gotten overly fixated on Stroud's playoff struggles last season and it's heavily discounting his 2026 price. He was legit good in the regular season eighth year in EPA by play them on qualified quarterbacks. EPA play not necessarily a direct correlation. I should put my glasses on for this. EPA play not necessarily a direct correlation to fantasy production, but seems very wrong to me for someone like Kim Ward to go ahead of Stroud and fantasy drafts, shout outs to Aaron Schatz, my hero, my Lord and Savior and David King, protruding me onto the Stroud search based on his comments on Greg Rosenfahl's pod, discussing the Texans fun fact. Greg Rosenfahl's cousin and best friend, not cousin. It's Anthony Jesselnick. Did you guys know that? - I had no idea, there you go. I'm actually supposed to see Jesselnick at next month. I love Jesselnick. - Yeah, I don't know why he said cousin. They grew up together and they collaborate on a podcast occasionally as well. That always implies too close to the sun getting canceled because of things Jesselnick says. (laughs) - That's good shit. - Cousin in the Chicago sense, where you call everybody's cousin. - Cousin, exactly. - Yeah, so yeah, the Stroud stuff is certainly interesting and as you had mentioned before the show, maybe thinking through or talking through some of these, guys we might be overthinking right now, and I guess that does kind of dovetail with thanks thing here about CJ Stroud, this stuff where we may be overly penalizing some of these guys. Did you have anyone else that came to mind there? - Yeah, I brought up a guy behind in the green room, but just looking at this to one other person I'm thinking about is like Drake May. I think Drake May got two good pass catchers to improve his receiving core, and I think people still have some trepidation on selecting him in fantasy drafts, and I do not, it's hard to get too overweight on a QB, but I think Drake May is set up to smash once again, but the guy that I was thinking about more and more lately, and I've been drafting more and more lately, he's a mecheg Buka, and just the Occam's razor argument is like, "Hey, this guy was extremely good right off the rip." And yeah, he was running hot, but he was extremely good, and I thought a lot about the OG fantasy on ship chasing and his arguments for Buka, and just like, this guy's always played with the most elite talent that was ever playing on a college football field, and yeah, he never was alpha among those receivers. I mean, he was there when a lobby was there, he was playing with Jeremiah Smith, he was playing with Karnel Tate, but he was still always very, very good, and then he came out, got good draft capital, and was good right away. Mike Evans isn't there anymore. Chris Godwin's ankle exploded two years ago, and he hasn't looked the same. What if he just dominates targets? I mean, we're all kind of excited about Ted Hirsch and Jalen McMillan, but let's be real, I think Buka has the opportunity to be far in a way the best receiver in that room, and just thinking about guys that can just absolutely eat up like 30% of a target share, like JSN style, I think that could easily be a Buka this year. So just trying to simplify things in terms of whether or not I take him. - Wait a second, who's excited about Jalen McMillan? Is there someone out there that's excited about Jalen McMillan? - I think the ADP of 140 would indicate people who are a little excited about Jalen McMillan? - Yeah, Chris Godwin, but I am not. - It was crazy right 'cause we had that momentary spike in ADP where Ted Hirsch, like moved up a little bit, but it didn't really move in tandem with Jalen McMillan falling. People have just kind of been holding the line on that one. - Yeah, and I do really like Ted Hirsch too. I think he's like a super fun pick, maybe comes on late, but he has the chance to kind of, I think be a very exciting player. He just turned 22, had 1,000 yards last year in college. He looks great. Honestly, like, and this is a little against the grain from what I've seen is I'm just really betting against Chris Godwin being productive and betting on Buka in the second year, hopefully full health this time around, same with Baker, and just being a guy that dominates targets. I think that's just such a clean bet in fantasy, especially when the talent matches up, and I think Buka's talent absolutely matches up with the opportunity that could be a balance for him. - Yeah, I mean, like the, the Occam's razor oversimplification of things is like, hey, what games do we stack up and shoot out every damn week in our B.Rs? Oh, NFC South Games and games that include domes and whatever, like would it surprise anybody if bucks are just going past funnel again and they're just going toe-to-toe shootouts with, you know, Tyler Schuck in the boys every weekend? What, why not, right? - Yeah, I'm kind of counting on it. - Yeah. I guess my only pushback to like the Occam's razor thing is isn't, is it something that the market's overthinking? 'Cause he's wide receiver 16. He's going like sandwich between Higgins and Lad. It seems like priced pretty well in like the market being like, yeah, you know, he really tailed off last year, but it was probably because of injury. I'm willing to draft him closer to where I think he'll finish than, you know, with a discount in mind. - It could be a little bit of an echo chamber thing. It just seems like every time I'm watching content listening to streamers or something, they don't like a mechic book. They think he's ever priced. They'd rather take Chris God. Like, I hear that from a lot of different people and I just think among, like, it's like the Josh Allen thing. Like, streamers and like sharp drafters, Maxgers don't take a lot of Josh Allen. I don't, you know, I could be wrong. I don't think these people are taking a lot of EG Booga either right now. And I'm making the argument that a Booga should be like, head and shoulders over T-higgins, you know, like, this, that's the type of play I'm making, the type of bet that I'm making on a bouquet that like, hey, we're looking at a potential like 170 target player here. If he's like that good and separates from the pack at, in Tampa at that level. Like that's, that's the type of, type of craziness I'm talking about. It's also a very ambiguous tier that we talked about like the other day, right? But as you're looting to nobody pounds the table for a bouquet in said tier, right? Like, I've been a little bit of the lad guy and almost everybody in their dogs been a little bit of the lad guy. But that whole little pocket right there of the wide receivers, you're right, nobody jumps up and pounds the table for a bouquet. Yeah, and I would say in this range, you know, Zay flowers definitely been catching buzz lately. No one ever seems excited to draft a lobby. Higgins just feels like a shrug your shoulders pick. If we're just like gauging sentiment, there's definitely excitement for lad. Everyone spooked on neighbors right now. I don't ever hear anyone who's just like over the mood to draft Teterroya McMillan. Like, it is like a weird, you know, I think the the thing is, right? It's pretty a long tier for me. Like after Devonta Smith comes off the board, this like a lobby like all the way through Devonte, I think you can argue is a is a flat tier. And I mean, you look at the ETR ranks that have Devonte like well ahead of multiple of these players, it really is kind of picking your your flavor. Yeah, fully agree. It's very flat. So what what what would be your target exposure? You're looking to get to on Igbuka. If you do think this is flat or it sounds like you don't think it's flat as far as Igbuka. Like you do think he rises to the top. I think Igbuka has like high, like I think he has the highest ceiling, just all things equal where without, you know, contingency. I think he just has the chance in a vacuum to outperform ADP the most out of this range. So I'm looking right now to be like 16% Igbuka. I'm trying to get there quite a bit with the low dollar stuff. That's what I'm hammering right now. And I'm saving a lot of BBMs for August to be ultra sweaty about it. But I would say like I think like 16% Igbuka would be like more than enough to have an outsized bet over the the maxors that, you know, ultimately competing against. Yeah. What would you say if I told you I saw a screenshot somewhere and see if I can find this? I believe someone said that in his stream yesterday Liam took a book at 205. Yeah. Did you see that one? Yeah, because my buddy Dave was in there and he's in because he and I have been talking about it. Boocies like I'm about to take a book at the one two turn here or the two three turn. He had the one on one and then Liam took him and he sent me a funny message tilting about Liam. Well, that's, but you just told me all of the streamers don't like it. Booc got out our goat out here taking about 205. I mean, yeah, breaking news. Liam Murphy going against the grain. Incredible. John, anyone that you've been thinking about lately that might be just as simple as is clicking them and not overthinking it? Yeah, I think well, I think you brought up the most obvious one on the draft board in your newsletter. What was it last week or whatever in and just being like, why aren't we drafting a guy who is a generational first overall running back style talent because we think the offense might be bad or we think there's too many running backs in that room there. So I think Jeremiah love would be that conversation, but you could speak to it better than than I, but I think it fits the mold of the conversation. The other one that I was thinking about is just if we look like what's the most simple benchmark metric for running backs? It's like running backs on good teams with high implied run totals with touchdown equity and we're looking at a team that won the Super Bowl last year and people want a pattern match with the CEH year there with Kansas City coming off of the Super Bowl and being like, oh, we're going to take it back and first round running back. Like, why don't we just look at the depth chart and be like, Ken Walker is gone. Do you hear him price? Just go burrow. This is your backfield to run with first round draft capital. You're free in the fifth round and sometimes slide to the front of the sixth. So those were the two that kind of stand out to me as if we had given, if we just agnostic of the draft class and whatever, it's just two running backs that could go burr and in years past we probably would have treated as if they were going to go burr. Yeah, and the price thing, I was talking about it with Kendall yesterday because we did a show where we just were like tier ranking the best fits from free agency in the draft and like being agnostic to like the player talent and everything and I put the price one in like the nutted dream scenario landing spot. It's like a run heavy team that just let their bell cow back who won MVP and the Super Bowl walk in free agency and then they draft the guy in the first round as they continue to try to defend their title with a quarterback that's fine but not necessarily even an elevator of talent. Like on just pure paper, if you just looked at that, it's like this is the smash of all smashes in the early sixth round and I was even thinking like, what, there were stretches where we were drafting RJ Harvey in the early to mid fifth last year. Like with these rookies that we got so excited about and I think you could argue the setup for price is way better than even Harvey had heading into last year. Yeah, and I mean we're talking about, we're also talking about depending where you look like strength is scheduled wise, like they have a pretty soft schedule for a team coming off of a Super Bowl and they're a 10 and a half implied win team, 11 win team pending where you look. So it's like, yeah, good team, good presumably good talent, job to himself, go score touchdowns, easy game. The thing I was writing about with love and I feel like I fell into the trap. I didn't want to fall into the trap with because I remember when he was drafted to the Cardinals, I ended up being like, I think this is going to be a blessing in disguise because he's going to be way cheaper than he otherwise would have been like, you know, commanders was kind of a popular spot. Like if Jeremiah Love had gone to the commanders, what he'd be 108, 109 around like Jefferson and Lam right now probably. I think people would push for the bouquet over Gentie. Yeah, like there would have been a ton of enthusiasm. And so I was just looking at it last year, like Gentie was drafted as the R before. He finished as the RB 16 and he was the bust of all bus because Jonathan Taylor and cook who were going right by him finishes the RB 2 and RB 6. So it's like you were not recovering from that. And Jeremiah Love right now is getting drafted as the RB 13. If he has the Gentie season and finishes as RB 16, it's a small miss. Like you probably still have a decent advance rate. If he's RB 16, as like an early third round pick assuming like none of those wide receivers go like completely nuts. And so I'm just like, shouldn't we just be gobbling this up because he's probably priced closer to his floor in the upside scenarios where he does have like a Zeke or Leonard for net rookie year role are pretty exciting. And again, obviously the situation isn't good. There's a million reasons why he's going at 33 instead of 17. But it kind of seems like the ultimate bet on talent bet at that price. Yeah, I think too, man. I don't know. I'll be I'll be bored enough to say I don't know that Jacoby Berset is like awful. I don't know that he's like absolutely terrible to the point where what if they kind of trip and fall and accidentally win like three out of the first six games or something. You know, and they're like three and three and they're scoring a bunch of points because their defense is terrible. This could just end up being a really, really awesome fantasy environment every single week in Arizona just because of how bad the defense is. And we just saw last year the ability for them to be garbage time merchants in Arizona. Obviously, that's not something that is sustainable because there's there's there's bench risk. But I think the sum of the parts in Arizona is very strong. I mean, we've got I'm I'm hoping for a Marvin Harrison breakout. I'm drafted a bunch of them. Michael Wilson just broke out. Tremick Brad just got targeted 200 times last year. I mean, we just talked about Jeremiah love. Hey, man, what if this is a good offense because there's a bunch of good players on it that we're drafting. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, just everyone's so certain that this offense isn't going to be good. Meanwhile, we draft four players in the top 100. Yeah. And I think you have you have two outs then, right? And like I'm looking at Dwayne's running back tears and looking at some of these rookie year usage things. And you know, the one thing he says is like if the team is bad, like we need him to have all the high leverage touches. Like we need him getting the goal line carries. If he loses those to Algier and the team is bad, that's where you get the recipe for for downside. But to Nez's point, if they are better than average, it's like, hmm, both running backs could could eat here. If it's just two and or he just they're like, all right, we can't keep Jeremiah love off the field. Like, yeah, Tyler Algier, we paid you. I get it. But like Jeremiah love is staying on the field. In either of those scenarios, he's going to be a big win at cost. Yeah. Everybody likes to make the Trent Richardson, like lazy ass comp, right? Of like, uh, money back on my share for genty. Yeah. Yeah. I just say like, uh, let's give the benefit of the doubt to front offices now that like even though we all thought this was a terrible decision by a cardinals team that needed to do a whole bunch of other stuff other than overpay a running back in that spot or whatever. But can we say like through the lens of like talent evaluation from like 2012 to like 2026 or 2025 or whatever the draft class would be classified as that he that like we've gotten so much better that like a prospect even though they were both the third overall pick in those two windows is probably significantly better now than they would have been then to take them knowing what we know now about the running back position. I remember you said I was I always thought about that too that it like and yet I feel like these front offices and then you know it feels like they never learn the lesson right I mean how many year after year do we still get these top 10 you know running back selections. Right yeah it's true. I guess this year's the whole talking point was that it was a really weak overall class and everybody's big board was like yeah Jeremy I love is the third best player in this class just across all positions and so people were like not willing to sacrifice value just to get a probably you know better position but I mean didn't the like the analytics pros had like love is more like worth a mid first round pick just in more objective measures. Yeah definitely yeah. Any other names here that you guys want to say we might be overthinking? No no I don't think so I just wanted to get on my soapbox about a buka but you know Drake made like I mentioned earlier those one that I that I really do believe and he has a rushing upside. He was so good throwing to Keishan Booty last year and yeah what what a FJ Brown and Romeo dubs are just like incredible upgrades for him you know. You have one draft one draft for your entire season they have basically an identical ADP there's no stacking considerations are literally drafting one quarterback head to head Drake May or Jayden Daniels this year. It's making me fully rethink my exposure to Jayden Daniels because now I'm getting scared and I kind of think the answer should be Drake May but right now it's Jayden so I don't know maybe I maybe I got too bullish on the sentiment that they're gonna bring in another wide receiver or that he can stay healthy yeah. Yeah good in my head I would say Drake May but I think Jayden Daniels is getting either Keenan Allen or Diggs so that'll that'll make you feel better. Yeah and I do think there is an element of that with Jayden where you know I always I feel like we probably all feel similar you get into the middle part of the sixth round and you're not loving the wide receiver running back options and looking at Jayden just starts to feel real nice but I do that move with Jayden way more than I do it with Drake May and I don't know if I have a good reason to always be doing that move with with Daniels and not not with May. Right exactly I think I think it's probably because we don't feel compelled to stack him as much and or we feel we like the backstack options better because basically all it is is is is um hunter henry after right dobs yeah I don't like dobs but that's why that's why I mean like that I'm doing the mental game I like I don't like dobs for some reason. Dude it's so dumb. Sanderson did this this tilted me so hard on ADP chasing said that dobs was better than Coral and Sutton last year I mean there was no data that I could possibly find to pack that up but god he got me so good when he said that he really just full straight face just like it's better than Sutton like totally shit I'm gonna lose it like there's no there's no stack that couldn't point at you that direction. I guess the one thing if you do look at Drake May vs. Jayden Daniels I feel a lot better about the New England running game this year you know I think with Ramon Dre and Henderson that they could have a ton of success on the ground being a lot more positive game scripts where it does seem like the commanders could have that kind of one the run game they don't necessarily have the horses if they are you know chucking it more like there could just be more pass volume for Jayden Daniels. Yeah that's a good point. People man in the discord someone says dive into a draft we got Michael here maybe actually this is both Michael in the discord and in the in the chat let's get this draft going you guys want to want to start drafting here. Yeah let's see let's do the PPI one first. Have you guys done any of these? We didn't do one on a Friday. Give me that like how much is ADP getting shifted around like how much or things changing. We drafted when there was no updated ADP so we're about to get a look at what people were doing for for the first time alongside you here but people just in our draft the way that they were drafting it was essentially like what you would expect like Derek Henry it was following quite a bit wide receivers getting getting pushed up like just exactly like what you would expect but I don't think there was enough people pushing up the elite tight ends that was yeah the elite tight ends kind of stood out to me because they scored better obviously in this format like in the way in which they separate so that one didn't seem like they were getting pushed up enough but the with the weird things we saw in our draft we saw H& go at eight and we saw Nez make me take Puka over Chase because #PPR. Welcome. Well that I feel like that makes sense. I know. Can we do one more Aakka's Razer one that I've been thinking about and I want to be the guy what if the first wide receiver off the board who was really good and productive despite having potentially a generational talent alongside him coupled with the first overall pick from last year and a coaching change can make the Titans go bare and what if Carnal Tate is just that dude. I you're preaching to the choir man I thought that they made like two excellent hires this offseason to put them in a position to succeed. I thought Dable and uh my god why am I forgetting that Robert Sala were like two excellent hires for for the Titans to to put around to put around ward plus adding pass catcher two pass catchers to to his arsenal with Calvin Ridley healthy yeah I am I'm excited about that that passing attack. All right PPR this is actually a good one you know Taylor and Lam with the same ADP I'd be inclined to go with a Lam or Jefferson here. Yeah yeah you guys have a favorite I mean actually Ned you're down on Lam right now. I know I'm the I'm the I'm the Lam bear so I think we have to go Jay Jetta's I'm going to get I'm going to get receded. Yeah remember what I say get get hit the people with that take that you floated on the X machine. Yeah so this year this is like sort of in line with like the Booga thing where I'm just looking at like the opportunity to just have an immense target share on a team like compared to to their teammates and I think Jefferson is in is in that mold um more than more than CD is I think CD ceiling uh is is hampered not on a week to week basis but on a season long basis is hampered with uh the George Pickens emergence I think it's a it's a it's a big time problem because Pickens is extremely extremely good and I don't think we've going to see the CD lamb 1800 season with Pickens healthy really ever again and Jed as we were taking 101 when he had good quarterback play and he had historically bad quarterback play the coaches on podcast saying like yeah the quarterback is able to do what he's supposed like the way that KLC is talking about last year with Jay Jay McCarthy is uh it's pretty hilarious just like yeah the quarterback can like do what he's supposed to do we're excited about that so I am believing in in the Kyler Murray uh bump for Jed as in believing in Pickens being a legit problem for the CD ceiling over the course of the season uh PPRB damned I'm good with Barclay here find winning the center brown what do you guys want to do it's crazy take sake one yeah yeah I guess the uh I do agree you know as I feel like part of me wants to say you know is this part of the kind of pendulum swing we always see with these really good wide receiver twos where it's like they come off of a year where they score a lot of touchdowns and then they get pushed up there and we kind of forget right we've done it with T Higgins and then it's like actually Jamar Chase is really fucking good I would buy the argument that the gap between lamb and in Pickens is smaller talent wise and Chase in Higgins yeah but I do wonder too if it's like you know Pickens score is a couple less touchdowns this year uh you know do we kind of swing back to thinking like yeah like Pickens is a really really strong wide receiver too but not someone who should have us overthinking CD lamb yeah that's that's totally fair like I'm not trying to say CD lamb is going to be a bus it's just like man in terms of plays that I feel like I'm going to get potential outperformance at ADP I do feel better about like James Cook and in regular bestball I feel better about Jettos and regular bestball the ability to be those like like overweight advanced rate players, whereas CD, I think, yeah, he's gonna probably pay off costs and he's probably gonna be a really safe pick because of the Cowboys offense is I think going to be extremely good this year, and not to talk out of both sides of my mouth, like that's not the point that I'm making. The point that I'm making is that we are drafting round one players, man. Like these guys gotta be absolute, like these guys gotta be able to win when you're the season. You know, that's RNG, you're picking at the back end there. With the running back meta, like man, I'll take my shot on James Cook whose back-to-back seasons have been incredible, might get more work in the passing game based on some conversations as off season. I just feel better like about James Cook and Derek Henry than I do CD. - Yeah, yeah, and I kind of, I guess I kind of feel the way about both Jefferson and Lam, where I do think you could justify or argue that some of those running backs should be going ahead to those guys in Lam and Jefferson should be more aware the Lam and Omen Raw were a few years ago, just more at the one-two turn there. - Yeah. Yeah, you can definitely just play into the meta, for sure. - Well, speak of the devil, X-spin, let us do it. Give us pickins. Yes, he did, there you go. At 31, I guess, is that the PPR doc happening to pickins here? - Yeah, if you want a Docker guy for catching 80 bulls, like, I don't know if there's just still this like, think on pickins from being a stealer and people just think of him as, you know, boom or bust, but he's made improvements every single year. He's been in the league and was only a second round pick because he liked to punch people at Georgia. I mean, he's. - Yeah, people forget it was the off field stuff and then the injury, but he came back for that SEC championship game or semifinal game, but yeah. - He's really good, man. Yeah, he's only gotten better. They're gonna pass a ton in Dallas. - Hopefully, hopefully pass a ton in Dallas. - Oh, dude, they're gonna pass. It's like, it's between. It's like Dac and Joe Burrow, as far as who's gonna lead the league in the passing run. It's this year for my money. Yeah, Dac is gonna be, he's gonna be fun. So we start, we are in a full point PPR here. This is a new thing underdog's been dropped in these fun time box contests on Fridays. This is the PPR friendship. We start Jefferson and then we do a little value-hounding, Barclay at 17 pickins at 32, about to pick here at 4.5. Wide receivers definitely going a little higher here than normal neighbors McClure and Burton Evans Adams. Javonte, the slider, if we want to go all in on Dallas, we're gonna do a McClure and our loved one here. - Too much capital. Did neighbors go? - Yeah, he went right before us. - Terry or Skataboo or loved one? - Want to do Terry? - Yeah. - All right. And then we don't have to have the Drake Mayvers, Jane and Daniel's combo, we just take care of it. - There we go. - It's all over. - You just do it. - It's all over, so. - That's right. - Oh, I'm looking back at this city lamb season. Yeah, the 1700 yard, 12 touchdown season there where they were like 12 and whatever. Like they were really good. And I mean, like, that whole offense just kind of went burrow that year. But Ferg was the guy I was interested in. And like, 'cause when CD wins and CD wins big, it's all out of the slot. Like the biggest thing was made of like CD lamb being like a move around guy. And when he wins in slot. And then like, I was just kind of like, brosizing a take that like, since they gave Terrence Ferguson money, has he played less slot based stuff than whatever. - Terrence Ferguson. - Sorry, Jay, like I always do it. Jay Ferguson. And Jay Ferguson had 102 targets that year. And I was like, oh, okay. So. - Yeah, I mean, did Ferg, Ferg is, I mean, like, I'm not trying to, I don't think people would take me serious if I was like, yeah, I can't, can't dress CD lamb 'cause Jay Ferguson is there. But like, I'm with you, man. You yearns targets, too. - People dropped around formally in the 13th round as well. - Yeah, that feels like a Michael Gallup ass pick. - Michael Gallup had some moments, brother. I know. - Yeah, man. If Tyke won Thorton had some moments, so did Michael Gallup. - Hey. - Tyke won. - Look, I'm still kicking over. I'm not even a, I'm not a Ryan Flornoy guy by any means, but I will say it's like, it's, isn't it the better vert? And this is how I get really getting as going. Isn't it the better version of Jeremy Bernard, who's like my most drafted player in that, it's a guy who's gonna be on the field in three wide receiver sets, but in an offense that's gonna throw way more. - I only draft Jeremy Bernard because the overlords tell me, too. There's not a single person that sells best ball tools that tell me not to take Jeremy Bernard. - Des, I can't keep it straight. Are you the free thinker that's taken Josh Allen on the Meckay Booga, or you a slave to the AI overlords? Which what is it? - I, I can't have you both. Why can't I be both, man? - I mean, every one is more gifted yet. - If the machine's gonna tell me to draft a stealer, you think I'm gonna, do you think I'm gonna know a way of that? - That's right. No, Jeremy, I mean, we're doing, we're doing fucking Devonta Adams at 56, right? - Yeah. - Or what's good about the full point PPR. - No, I think it's Devonta and Bucky. - Here's also like, yeah. - Good to see you there. - Yeah. - What are the day's Occam's razor take Devonta? - Yeah. - Yeah, and this is like, obviously people, I think, you know, so I guess Terry McClure, and we took it at ADP, but pick and slides, Adams. It is like how much are people, you know, putting their thumb on the scale a little bit too much, just because it's like, yeah, McClure and then Pickens and Adams, they're touchdown guys there, but I don't know. They can also be huge target owners as well. - Yeah. - I have to debunk this notion. Fantasy Pills, he's going hard in the paint since his big appearance on the bash there, but I don't think a single Dallas Third-Word receiver has ever eaten. I'm looking through, I'm looking through a year over year. And it's always a second guy that has like 608, but a third guy has never eaten in that offense. - Imagine setting your makeup, then forgetting it's even theirs. - Meet new grippy setting mist from Mabelie, New York. Gel to mist technology locks in your look for up to 24 hours with flexible all day comfy grip. Try new grippy setting mist from Mabelie, New York. - Maybe it's Mabelie. - Michael asking for these are separate ADPs for PPR Frenchy. These are not the generic ADPs. They had to create an entire new thing. Like if you go into the rankings tab, you can upload unique ranks for the PPR. I have that correct, right? - Yeah. - Correct. - Yes. - Yeah. - Yeah, they're seven. - Yeah, these are all unique. - Okay, so running back, Jadarian Price, Jane Daniels with Terry. - Let's do the price one. Well, we just had the price conversation. Let's do the price one. - Well, do you want Daniels, do Daniels, do Daniels, do Daniels, do Daniels. - Let's go talk to Tower, go Vito Daniels. - Well, let's do, yeah, let's do Daniels. I'm not worried about running back quite yet. - Okay. Yeah, I'm used to the old format where I'm like, if I don't have a running back in the Flex, I literally just like throw the team in the trash, but we're gonna flex a tight end or a wide receiver here, so it's all good. - Here's the squad through six rounds. Jefferson, Barclay, Pickens, McClure, and Adams, and as we foretold, Jane Daniels in the sixth. - Are we two BBM-pilled right now? Because I'm like, this, we could never get this team in BBM, and this is insane. Or is that just what, yeah, is that what, or is this just like a normal PPR draft and we're just taking guys that are better in a different format? That's what I'm asking. - Yeah. Why is this available? Like this feels really good. - Well, it's funny, right? Because you think about, you know, the differences between half point, full point, and obviously having the full point, I think raises the floor on some of these guys who aren't slightly more targets, but what are the things that still win weeks, that still swing pod groups that help you win a BR? Like you're gonna need the touchdowns, right? So maybe you're slightly lowering your floor, you know, taking, you know, a guy like Pickens over, I don't even know, like Waddle, I'm trying to think who are some of these guys that will be maybe project for slightly more target to Garrett Wilson, but then you think about what the team totals are gonna look like for the Cowboys, you know, down the playoff stretch, and how many more expected touchdowns there's gonna be, and it's like, that's still the game we're playing. We're still trying to finish, and we should check in on what the pod dynamics are here. It's two of 12 to get out like normal, then two of 10, two of 12, a hundred and 24 seat final. So a one of five, one of six, and 15, 16, and then a bigger final there, so to speak. - Yeah. - So you could go DAC [BLANK_AUDIO] that. I mean, running back, we could grab a Rico if Nez is getting sweaty there. What do you guys think? Oh, I can show it down. Sure, I forgot that this whole time we were having the lamb conversation. I forgot that we took Jefferson over him. Like I thought we were excited about the double stack pickings and lamb. No, it's like an absurd fall for pickings. I mean, to be fair, it plays better that we don't have lamb on this team and we get a falling pickings. Yeah. But when we were having that conversation, I was doing all my lamb research because you had the bullish take on Jefferson. I was like, oh, I assume we're just have the double stack right now when pickings fell. Raise it. Maybe I missed this discussion about how in the world did you get pickings in the middle of the third round in any contest? Yeah, I think people just overreacting to the the full point PPR and I think misapplying, like John said, I mean, what he had 93 receptions last year, pickings. Yeah, with CD missing time, but still even when CD returns for like two games, there was a buy week. And then the two weeks following the buy pickings just mod like back to back weeks. Like they're he separated over CD like CD never separated really over him other than like the first week when it was his first ever time putting on a Cowboys uniform in a regular season. Once they got going, it was just like, yeah, dude, pickings is the guy he's looking at. Yeah. All right, let's see here. Rico comes all the way back. If we want to back, that seems great on this team. Yeah, I think that's a good vegetables pick. Yeah. Like obviously like not awesome in PPR, but he should he's good. I mean, we like Rico as a pick. He's a good value. Yeah, I think he's the type of pick you make here to make this work. Did I see someone recently maybe I can hold it up? Someone had pulled up the the Steelers season long numbers for Warren versus Rico and Rico was pretty massively ahead of him. I think in yards, maybe it was total scrimmage yards too. So like the market is definitely on Rico over Warren there. The way I think about it is we were so into the like the Kenneth Gainwell world last year was so strong. And yeah, they bring in Michael Pittman to, you know, some of those targets that were, you know, just dump us to Kenny Gainwell will probably be, you know, better, you know, better targets to Michael Pittman. But I think Warren is in line to have like a career year receiving wise while still being a threat to run the ball. Yeah, that's my cope is that I still think that Jalen Warren is like just a just a good football player. But the people that are Rico over Warren, like I think they make good cases because I'm this is like, you know, definitely a biased, you know, take from me. We're like, I am still like hoping the best for Warren because in most of these ambiguous backfields, I favor the guy who's going to get the goal line work. And while I think Rico is going to get most of it, I don't know that he'll get all of it, but I think Rico is definitely live to be the goal line back. Oh, for sure. Yeah, I would use the favorite. Yeah. Is that not? Yeah. No, for sure. The favorite. But I don't think it's like, I don't think Warren's a zero at the goal line. Ah, man, I really like Dobbins. I know again, he's probably not going to catch a ton of passes. What else do you guys like? Yeah, Dobbins are pits agreed. All right, let's get another running back here. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, RB two, you know, we're probably hopefully flexing a pass catcher, but it's good. We want to backstack tight ends too. Yes. One of the things too that I was I had written in the fantasy life newsletter a couple weekends ago, just again, because Dwayne had done some research and found at least for for redraft stuff that just previous season, finish was even more of a predictor for future year success, even then current year ADP, which is kind of crazy when you think current year ADP bakes in free agent movement, movements, injuries, you know, theoretically, but like both Rico and Warren are priced. I think it was nine spots lower for Warren and like 11 spots lower for Rico, relative to their finish last year. Like you're getting a discount even on what they did last year. And I mean, I think you could argue that both are in pretty similar spots again, as far as being in kind of a two man backfield there. Last year. I'm a kiddo guy. I also like golden a lot. What do you guys like? Kettle. Yeah. I'm I'm Kettle Pilled. Let's do it. I am warming up the golden. He was hanging out at the Cubs game last night with big cat. The vibes are high. Who was Kettle? Yeah. Is that bar stool sports is big cat your referencing? Dan Katz. He was being rewarded handed a big check for what hitting the 50 50 jackpot. Really? Yeah, it's pretty pretty. Was that like real or rigged? Yeah, no, no, he really did win. Like every time he goes to the Cubs game, he gets like $250 worth of 50 50s. And he actually hit I think last year. And then they just now gave him like the big check for everybody. I was I did my the Scott Fishbowl draft live in Boston on Sunday. And they had the raffle in my guy Matthew Wood. He's yeah, comes out with a randomizer and all that. He bought a shit ton of tickets and he looked like one of those kids. You would see at Chuck E. G's after he hits the the the top prize. And he was just sitting there for like literally 20 minutes like holding his tickets up one by one. I was like, what is going on? That's awesome. All right. Here's the squad here through 11 rounds full point PPR. We got Jane Daniels and DAC at quarterback Barclay Rico in Dobbins at running back Jefferson, Pickens, McLaren, Adams at wide receiver, Kittle at tight end. This is a sick team. Yeah, it's pretty good. I think I think Ferg would be my next guy. If he comes back here, could also talk myself into digs too. Yeah, I think I think Ferg makes too much sense on this team, especially because it sounds like I don't have a bunch of Ryan Florida heads drafted with me. No, I think it's fine on like a DAC stack team. For sure. We took we took Ferg on our FFPC main event draft. We did the other day on ship chasing. And there were like a lot of people in the comments who are like Ferg socks, Ferg has no feeling. Yeah. Oh my god. There's a lot of gift. He's a gift in FFPC. Yeah, if he went like 808, like nobody would bat 9. Yeah, this is actually the pairing we did too. We did Kittle. I finally got those guys to get me a Kittle share. And then we came back and got Ferg there. Also, who got our best ball Bob in the chat. Got to meet him at SFB Boston. Great chopping it up with you Bob. Glad you got the glad you got to make the live show. I know you said you know, normally I always get to check in live here. One of the good guys. Okay, who had more fantasy points last year, Rico or Warren? I think it was Rico, right? Dude, it was 177.3 to 177.1 on your full. Yeah, I don't know. That's just on pro football reference. I was looking at. Wow. I don't know what their base scoring is, but I just thought that was pretty funny. Good for me. That's a feather in my cap. I'm good with Jaden Higgins, Dipperino here at 137. Anything else you guys see? Yeah, Higgins is a pretty mag eye to me. So I'm like I don't have a clue. I don't think they want more over. Yeah, I agree. This is a mega range. I'm cool with Higgins. That's second year breakout, potentially. Yeah, another guy who's getting, you know, discounted because, you know, envisioning him more as a touchdown guy and not as high volume. Yeah, kind of kind of getting more into the Houston passing game. Yeah, the danks comments helped and just remembering rookie your CJ Stroud and how awesome he was. I don't know, maybe he can be good again. Trevor in the chat says, why do we keep letting the host take all the ADP followers? You know, when you go over to someone's house, you know, for a cocktail party or something and you bring over a little gift for the host, that's what everybody's doing in this room. They're saying, thanks for hosting Pete and badge bros. Here's a little ADP gift for you, a little piece of China, a fruit cake, a puzzle, just a little something for you. What year? What decade is this analogy, Pete? We're bringing it over China and fruit cakes and puzzles. I won't go into offer options at different price points. What happened to bottle of wine in us? Yeah, bottle of wine works. There you go, some flowers. I'll tell you what, this chat often has a feels like a bottle of whining to me. That's a good one. Yeah, a little Jaden Higgins for you. Thank you. I appreciate that. Yeah, let's sprinkle. And we kind of played that well too. We like, we're in the business or in the market for running backs and wide receivers and it's been like all quarterbacks and tied in. since we picked pagans. We got hunter, Mcmillan, Trey Tucker, Joanne Jennings, Boston, Patecheko, probably a wide receiver here. Let's just do the floor noise thing and get the chat off our screen. No, we don't have to do that quite yet. Don't capitulate? Nes, pick one of these guys. Hunter. You. 10 picks, fast ADP. He looks like a robot cop right now. It's all good. I was going to lead the horses to that trough of water, but I couldn't make him drink, but Nes took a big slurp from the Travis Hunter trough all in his own. I didn't want it to be my idea. I'm glad you did it. No, 10 picks, fast ADP. I mean, that's more than enough permission to take a little Travis Hunter. Look, I'm going to have a party, and we're going to call it a puzzle party. And everybody's going to bring me a pocket puzzle. Forty-eighties or forty-eighties. April is really into puzzles right now, so that's probably why it's on on my mind. Like whenever we go to, like, Goodwill or Sabers or the second hand stores, I'm just trying to find more puzzles because she's, she's insatiable with the puzzles right now. That's awesome. I always wanted to be, uh, I always feel like it's like, a classy mood to be a puzzle house where like, you're like, there's always a puzzle on the table. You're working. Yeah, you know, you can't clear it off. You know, we're like, we're still working on it. It's got like a really, there's like a thousand pieces to me. That's like a sign of class. I think I like it too because like, when you have the kid right, like hobbies and especially like really leisurely hobbies kind of go out the window, like I would never, like, Lauren and I are going to sit down and do a puzzle like on a Friday night after April goes to bed. So April being into puzzles, I'm like, oh, this feels very leisurely right now, just putting together a puzzle. And now I'm going to throw a puzzle party. So, uh, there we go. Uh, back on the clock. I mean, Ryan, Lauren and I, come on, fellas. I mean, come on. We don't need to check it out. Oh, the check go. No, we do need, we do need running backs, but we don't need to check. Oh, what's going to happen? We need, we need running backs and you offer up as if a checkup. What's going to happen? What's going to happen when nobody signs in Detroit? He's going to move up one and a half spots at 80. And then probably just 20%. And as it'll come out here, it'd be like, I can't believe you guys were letting me get Isaiah Pecheco at pick 162. He's now going at 159. I mean, I will, I hope somebody signs because I'm saving so many BBMs for August and late August. And then, and if nobody signs there, man, like, I'll take 80% David Montgomery in round 16. Like, I really, or whatever round he does. Wow. I really don't, don't care. I think skill is totally agnostic for that role. I just can't imagine that he gets no work whatsoever. And on an offense that a lot of people think he's going to be the highest scoring offense in the league. Imagine setting your makeup. Then forgetting it's even theirs. Meet new grippy setting mist from Maybelline, New York. Delta mist technology locks in your look for up to 24 hours with flexible all-day comfy grip. No tightness, no stickiness, no residue, just plump, dewy, hydrated skin that still feels like your skin. Try new grippy setting mist from Maybelline, New York. Maybe it's Maybelline. I mean, it's just, it's the cream hunt thesis all over again. Like, yeah, maybe falls into the end zone eight times, whatever. Uh oh, they're see that now they're coming from you. Yeah, they're coming for you. You just did the Sanderson to you. You rage baited our audience with that take. We people used to hate David Montgomery. Now all of a sudden you call somebody 80 percent Montgomery and they bring the sports out. What the, what the hell happened to everybody, man? Vision of sake. That's what that's what they're going to give us the checkle coming back at 176. Oh, you can't take them. There you go. See, Dad, I just wanted you to be patient because I knew we could get him a full round and a half later. You're right, man. Who am I kidding? Who am I kidding? I'm not just sheep in here. Oh, we just got 80 percent David Montgomery. Look at this. Hey, hey, that at the door. They just came through with a new Pacheco puzzle for the host. I can hear him stomping all the way to the end zone. And can't wait to reconstruct his knee in the puzzle. I mean, let alone the contingency upside that he holds, dude. I'll just forget about it. Two, four, seven, two, three, fifteen rounds. Jaden Presck and Indact Prescott, Barclay Rico, Dobbins, Pacheco, Jefferson, Pickens, McCloren, Adams, Higgins, Travis Hunter, Ryan Flornoy, at Wide Receiver, Kiddell, and Ferg at Tidein. Three more picks. Hey, now to tweet this morning about running backs, hit behind like when not hit behind the line of scrimmage, like how many yards they gain. And it's like all the guys at the top that you would expect, right? It's like H.N. Gibbs, Henry, and then Jordan Mason and then Ken Walker. And then two of the worst that he cites in comparison with the Ken Walker stuff is Pacheco and Hunt, like since 2022. Speaking of good contingent backs where talent doesn't matter, can I interest the boys in a Brian Robinson here? Yeah, let's hope B-Rob at Lanna by week 11 goes goes ham this year. Yeah, we need another running back. And I mean, if he's, you want to talk about 80% of a replacement, I don't, I think, Robinson could definitely be that out, that 80% out-gir, maybe 100% out-gir. When he got, he seldom got carries for the Niners, but when he did, he looked shot out of a cannon. Like it's so, it was, it was, he looked like pretty decent. At this price, I would say, Nez, we just need him to be 92% Pacheco. Fair. If floor noise hitting this lineup, this team is in trouble. It's like not how, like best ball specifically in the pods work. Like we've made a massive bet on DAC and you're trying to get the the spike week in a shootout game from a lower-owned piece on an offensive already bet on. I think I found the CD drafter in there. And then you sneak a low-owned George Pickens into the PPR-Frenchy finals. He's 2.6% owned. Because floor noise went nuts. So yeah, we have a 2572, probably another running back in a tight end. Yeah, I think we're done at wide receiver, for sure. Yeah. Our PPR stud, Brian Robinson, who had 8 catfish last year. That's not the thesis and you know it. Brian shot out of a cannon, Robinson, with a long play last year of 19 yards in a shiny scheme. I mean, he barely got run. That's CMC played 99% of snaps. He got 92 attempts. You guys got a running back, you like here? Yeah, everybody's telling me to draft him on Claiborne. There's a little buzz on him on the timeline today. Okay. Param up with Jefferson. Yeah. Sure. If this office, there's a chance for just like a lot of like fun cycle pieces in this offense. Did I catch you being a non-free, free thinker again? Everyone telling you to draft him on Claiborne? Listen. Is the Mont Claiborne or Nick Singleton for the umpteenth time? Are the people ready for the public facing Nick Singleton take? I don't know, are we? Nick Singleton career, our Chuba Hubbard. You made that case on the last show? No, it was after the show. I said it to you guys after. That was in the green room, damn. Yeah. And the people are ready for it. He was supposed to be the 101 draft prospect for the running back. He gets hurt. Doesn't look the same there after. Exactly. Same thing as Chuba. Chuba supposed to be 101 in his own draft class gets hurt. You get a discount on it. He rehabs on an NFL roster and then usable, serviceable grinded out guy with a little bit of juice. Who's got to tie in here? Are we doing Mount Washington? I've been on the Theo Johnson train, man. Let's take Michael Mayer. So many different suggestions here. Mayer is fine. Fine. Fine. Give John one. Talk to me about Mike. I want to hear both of you. You know, this is for so you think you can tout. I'm getting the pitches from the three finalists. I need to hear one pitch up. Theo Johnson hit one on Michael Bayer. Former second round pick with a coach now who was an offensive coordinator that was a big proponent of two tight end sets. I think they're going to look around those rooms and be like, Hey, our most talented second pass catcher is also the other tight end. When Bowers was hurt last year, displayed a little bit of juice. I don't want to get too carried away. But, you know, he had a 89 yard game with 10 catches or something mixed in there that we played him in week 16 or 17. So contingent bet plus might be the second best pass catcher on his team. Any free. Okay, Nez, I will now hear your pitch on Theo Johnson. The New York Giants are very, very likely to be down their star wide receiver to to start the season. - Furthermore, Theo Johnson had games-- - You just hit me with the BBG, the further more. - Do you call it the reference? Theo Johnson had games of 15, 14, and 20 fantasy points last season. How many games did Isaiah likely have of 14, 10, or 20 last season? I'll give you a hint. None. He had no games with those levels of fantasy production. We are really, really burying Theo Johnson, who was like a better tight end than Isaiah likely, because Isaiah likely has signed there. And we all can't wait for Isaiah likely to not get blocked by Chexonotes, car accident, Mark Andrews, who he could never usurp. Brother, why are we drafting Isaiah likely so high and just fading Theo Johnson to oblivion? It's the same thesis as Michael Mayer. They're probably going to run a lot of heavy, because what the hell else are they going to do? They're going to throw out Juju Smith Schuster with Darnel Mooney and Darius Slaton. I don't think so. - All for accident, Mark Andrews got me. - After listening to those two pitches, I wish I would have taken Theo Johnson instead of Michael Mayer. One of them's competing with Isaiah likely, and the other's competing with Brock Bowers. I should have helped this through more before clicking the button. - The further more, always wins. - Here's the final squad 2673 reviews pouring in the chat, what did someone say? Where was it? Can't even find all these reviews. Oh, here it is. This might be the most non-PPRS, PPR team ever. Your half PPR is showing. I mean, that was kind of the thesis of this. We were scooping up the values where people were overreacting. So I will show you. - Here's the secret. These pass catching backs that only have pass catching work are the biggest rug pulls in fantasy. I mean, you want touchdowns. You don't want one point, because you caught a ball for three yards. - Right, yeah. - Yeah. - J. Daniel Stack, yeah, man. Wow, Jarvis Lane, that feels like a guy that Giants would have signed this off season. - Yeah, I mean, probably not the LSU. - Yeah. All right, J. Daniel Stack Press got Barclay Rico, Dobbins, Pacheco, Brian Robinson, Demon Clayborn. Yes, that team is going to collectively average 2.3 targets a game, relax. Justin Jefferson, George Pickens, Terry McClure and Devonta Adams, Jayden Higgins, Travis Hunter, Ryan Floor and I. Just you guys wait, when Parker Washington gets her, Travis Hunter is going to have a 34% target share this year. And three tight ends, George Kettle, Jake Ferguson, and I hope I don't make the wrong decision for so you think you can tout in the same way I did, selecting Michael Mayer over Theo Johnson. How do we feel about the Frenchie? It's like, yeah, I don't know, it's a back end running back that it's a PPR scam merchant away from being better. Like a theoretic, a Dane Verine, a Danny Woodhead ass, Austin Eckler, like just, we needed eight points at the running back position instead of the contingent bets. And the contingent bets are the half PPR bros. - We only need to start one of those guys that aren't safe one though. You know, we're flexing a wide receiver like every single week. And we might even flex one of these tight ends, you know, once Kettle gets going and you know, Michael Mayer totally, totally, Mog's Brock Bauer, you could be flexing him. We're definitely flexing a wide receiver. So, and I'll say with two running backs and one of them safe one, Barkley. - Yeah. - Ryan Floor and I, he's going to be hitting our flex 14, 17 weeks. - You heard him at first. - Wow, I mean, Nez, you just got Theo Mogged. - Thank you. - 30% Theo. - Wow. - That was me last year. I had so much Theo last year. - Remember, was it? - Did he Sanders? - Was it Theo Gettin? Was it through the puff piece last year where he was like, Dave Ol, like said, he was wrong. Was it bad? - Probably. - Yeah, that was that really set to fall. - Or like, okay. (laughing) - All right, Charles wants us. He drafted a team from the 101. - This should be good. - Love Baker and Bryce Young, Gibbs Hendo Price Harvey Gainwell. Zay Igbuka at 25, we see you. DJ Moore Worthy, Keenan at 169. Brassel and Tess Johnson. - Check it, Conquell. AJ Barner in Mitchell Evans. - What? - He was talking about Mitchell Evans in my Best Paul Breakfast Chat. - I think he was talking about Mitchell Evans in my afternoon and I had no strip, too. - Who? - If he was tilting 'cause he queued on Mitchell Evans and he got odd at somebody else. He was so mad. - Mitchell Evans. - 65-258, fifth round pick. - He has a cult following. - It's Notre Dame. - It's weird. - The cult following is just Notre Dame. Means he got Natty TV buzz, he was on NBC at nighttime. So people just saw him. Dude, do you think Jacob Gibbs had like a come to Jesus moment when he posted this tweet on July 4th? Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers, tight end year one, every reception. (laughing) Who is this video for? Other than GoAZ cards. (laughing) - Manually clipping Mitchell Evans film? Like put it in his eyes. - Yeah. - He needs a Boston Canton for this. Like he's so fucking awesome. I cannot imagine hitting press said on this tweet. - God, who is watching this? Apparently 10.8,000 people. - All right, here's a question for you. Who had more targets? Mitchell Evans in 2025, or Charlie Kohler in the years 25 and 24 combined. (laughing) - Nice. It's a very good, crazy. The answer might shock you. It is Kohler, but he only had one more target than Mitchell Evans. - That's great. - Man, can we, we gotta just get all the Charlie Kohler and Mitchell Evans people in the same room. Let them have a mixer. Let them do some puzzles together. Knock them, knock themselves out. You guys wanna do one more draft? - Yeah. - Squeeze out one more draft. - What do you wanna draft this time? - Haven't you eliminated him in a while? - All right, fine. - No, go ahead, John, what do you want? - No, no, yeah, yeah, we'll do whatever. - Let's do one of the funky formats so we can help people feel contest. Let's do, we're gonna do weekly winners next week, so let's do a eliminator, sure. - I think it's in two weeks, right? - Yeah, it's two weeks. - Wanna do a eliminator? - Sure. - We can, you know, this will actually do a little dent in my slow draft. - Are you doing like a ton of slows for the eliminator? - Yes, sir. - Love it. - Well, I'm having it paced out where I want to be, I wanna be able to get, I have it paced to where I'll be done with the eliminator once the clocks go shorten, but I'll leave, I'll probably leave, you know, like 10 or so for doing some fast drafts, but I didn't wanna be on the hook for, I wanna max it and I just thought it'd be easier to just pace myself with the slow drafts, although I guess pacing's a relative word, 'cause this is what we're doing. - Wow, dude, you're in it. Oh my God. I told people that I was in it. I told every, every Monday, every Thursday I had 15 more eliminators. - You gotta make a, you're about to auto weekly winners, Tim. - Oh shit, what? - 20 wins. - Okay, you guys helped me make my weekly winners pick. - All right, all right. - All right, this is a Jane Daniels Matthew Stafford team. - My most common paired quarterback, so far. - Breeze Hall, Juddkins, Ramondra, Jonathan Brooks, and Bill, Puka, Drake, London, Garrett Wilson, Jacobi Myers, Antonio Williams, Chig, Sedeek, and Henry. Definitely need a wide receiver here. Let's see, Jeremy. Jeremy's here, Calvin Ridley Cooper Cup, Pat Bryant, Tyree Kill, Shad Bayman, who's got a name. - Is Wix, Wix is gone? - Yeah. - I think so, yeah. - Okay. Well, I'm doing some cross schedule reference stuff here. See if we can get some one correlation going on. - I have a ton of week seven and 11 buys, which is not an issue in this format. - I love Calvin Ridley. - Sometimes it's better, too. - Yeah, yeah, Ridley, Tyquan. - Tyquan's a great weekly winner's pick. - Yeah. Way higher, or much higher ADP for Ridley. All right, let's not belabor this. We'll take Calvin Ridley. Let's do it together. - Yeah, let's see Ridley. - Yeah, we brought a few people in the chat. - Four more for Elividator. - Liminator ass team. - I don't know if you guys understand like the way our deals work with underdog, they require us to have at least one rug pole a month to kind of help boost entry fees. - Literally just had a set of meetings. They said, "Please." - "Please, rug harder." - It's like your doof. - Your doof for your monthly rug. We've been keeping tabs. Too many puzzle parties, not enough rug poles. A nice draft and next to Charles. This should be fun. - Sorry, Vesbal Bob. - It's a bad beat. - Yeah, it is a bad beat. But look, the real ones will multitable to get in the stream draft too. - Can we, I have a random question. And it's just swimming in my head with the Charlie Cooler Theo Johnson Mitchell Evans. - Grab. What? What's the statute of limitations on collegiate athleticism, mattering and giving players the benefit of the doubt of like them getting better, changing their bodies, growing and evolving? Changing bodies. What a turn of phrase. Well, you know what I mean? Like you're not the same man you were five years ago. You know, I'm not the same person, whatever, like, but sometimes that's for a good thing. Like maybe that's, you know, your body might be healthier now, Pete. Then it was five years ago when you were coming out of college or whatever in parentheses. Like I was going out of college. Yeah. But you know what I, you know what I mean, right? Where it's like now that you've learned how to like, you know, you have resources that you didn't before with the cold plunge and stuff set up in your, your gym and stuff like that, right? Yeah. CMC CMC over JSN. Yeah, and pretty much every format. Okay, let me come up with a format where that would be it. Five wide receivers. Yeah, points per distance from electrosubstations. If we're doing efficiency metrics, then yeah, JSN, probably the 101. But no, I think CMC is on his way to flipping JSN and BBM, for sure. Yeah. 30 year old Pete Lactosada. It's true. It's true. You guys don't have JSN. It could be class. Just like the way you said that, like it did really sound like you were teaching a sex ed class. With all of your changing bodies, you're going to be feeling a lot of new things. This is, this is the expanded version of, uh, of Sucks or Fox, the expanded version. Now it's just me teaching the Fox. Jesus Christ. I don't know. You guys know what I mean, though, right? Because like people make arguments and they'll make bullcases and I hear so many of them. And they'll cite like this guy's 40 time or whatever, but it was five years ago or it was four years ago. Or it was, you know, or we don't give players who tested poorly four years ago. The benefit of the doubt that they've gotten better faster, stronger and improved with age because like these are still only 26, 27 year old men when they're in like year four. To your point, it is absurd with technology. And I know we have next gen stats and it's like ball carrier hit this top in speed or whatever, but it is insane that we don't have the technology to basically update or have a proxy for 40 times. Relative to your on field speed, right? Is it a way we could have a formula you take the next gen top in speed, whatever, try to standardize it to a 40 time. Like there has to be someone who can do that for us. Yeah. Just to know like where, because they would be fascinating to know. Like I would love to see Keenan Allen's 40 time, like over the years, like each year based on it. Right. Redacted, redacted. I mean, not even a step, a step further, like I'd like to see relative razz score. So like just like overarching athleticism relative to injuries and years played. John. Cloud Fables included with the pro plan. So there you go. Yeah. I like London. I'd also be down for Jeremiah Love. If those are the options, I'll take London. Yeah, I'm cool with London, I'm cool with London week 11 by going to have a nice high floor every week. Yeah. It does that we go and buy us sort of a curse just because of the six good teams that share that by, but at least it's different from from CMC. Yeah. If you guys had to pick that league winning wide receiver, like this little pocket right now is London, the guy you would pick, he's always the guy who goes first. To me, I guess there would be like a difference in discussion. I think you can easily argue he's the best round two wide receiver pick. But I think if there's a guy we're drafting next to Puka chase or JSN next year or who's really jumping an ADP, it's probably not London. Yeah. Yeah, I think you're probably correct in that unless like the quarterback situation. That's how dramatically improves, but I don't know how that would take place. Right. I think London is kind of insulated in terms of the like we don't know who to stack them with, but I think they're both fine for him no matter who plays. Yeah, I think that's getting wiped here by ADP, Devonte, Alan, Rice, ETN, Flowers, a lobby Jacobs, ETN. Double eight buys. I like Devonte. Yep. Oh, I thought I see you as six. Yeah. No, no, that's, that's tough. Yeah, because don't you can't you see like say if the Stroud thesis hits again, we could easily be drafting Nico like back in round one again. And then the AJ Brown, a guy we've previously drafted in round one, like if he smashes with May, like he's for sure back up into round one. Yeah, we did this revisionist history exercise last Thursday or Friday, Pete, and we looked back at like a couple different boards from last year. Yeah, it was a lot of fun to like just reframe our mindsets of like the places where we think we know shit, but we don't actually know shit right now. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I mean, just I just assume what just littered with us and bad guys everywhere. Yeah, and just bunch of zeros all over the place and every running back in like a June draft and every running back in July draft in the whole back end of the like 15 and down. There was like two that mattered. I think it was Rico and Quorum and maybe Kareem hunt in the last round and like fake CLV on like a guy like Dylan Samson. It's like all the Judkins things, you know, turned in my favor. And the year before like the fake CLV on like the Broncos guy. Yeah, whatever Austin mayor, what, Audrey, yeah, that was two years ago, I think, wasn't it? Two years ago, yeah, like just like many such cases, the Gus Edwards year, where somebody got, I don't even remember who he was behind Ravens running back about hurt in training camp. Or maybe it was Gus Edwards who got hurt in training camp, one of the two and then the other guy vaulted like 12 picks and then didn't matter at all. There's no such thing as fake CLV though, man, it's just, it's either CLV or it isn't brother. And that's yeah, yeah, A one A one has a really good line about that. There's no such thing of CLV at all. You're either like Swift here, unless you don't like two week 10 buys. No, I'm, I'm cool with the under Swift. He feels like a good eliminator pick. Yeah. We'll go Swift with CMC London with the Vante. But yeah, I mean, it's, it's, it's kind of messes with your mind, right? Because specifically in redraft, we know like the hits are worth so, so much more than the misses. But with best ball, it's like a small hit is worth so, so much more than a total zero. So it's like, there is this element of mitigating risk at points across the whole roster where you're just like I just want to have a click here that when I do review the board in one year, you aren't laughing at how awful of a pick it was. Right. I mean, like, maybe that's the whole tie a bow on the show wrap around thesis back to Occam's razor discussion is like take dudes who you're going to play ball. You know, like that's like the, the most simple general one, right? Maybe that is it. It used to be the old thing just just draft the good players, just graph the players be like just graph the players who are going to play. Yeah. I'm going to take a step lower. Well, I was going to say if we do have that, then the Charlie Colour Bros are going to come cool aid Manning. Yeah, that guy's going to play. Oh my God, he admitted it. All right, two running backs, two wide receivers headed here to the middle of round five by ADP Lamar neighbors, Loveland, Hendo, Jamo Watson. I've been good with Loveland in this range, although it is another week 10 by he goes, uh, Hendo at by week 11 could be interesting. I don't know what you guys want to do here. Yeah, Hendo or price. Okay. Yeah, Hendo or price is cool. All right, let's just do we'll go with the earlier guy here place. I've actually been getting Hendo a decent bit my, my slow drafts even later like hill, he'll fall to the five, six turn. I'm fine with that in some running back heavy starts and again, knowing that if I think it'll probably be a little slow at the start, but man, to have like a late season hammer play. If Henderson does really kind of flip Ramandre, certainly see the appeal. Yeah, he, Henderson, I think, I think the market did a pretty good job of pricing Henderson this, this season, like it is a little expensive for the, the regular season production, but I think that we kind of like for given how much he smashed when Ramandre was out, like he could have, we could have easily gotten way over our skis on like a second year running back because he was so good. Andre was out. There's another one that we were victory lapping last year, Hendo CLV didn't get a matter, yeah, because because I mean that will forever be probably like the poster boy play of like why we shouldn't get too excited about preseason like results. Mm-hmm. That singular run. He reflects in the exposures on the timeline all over the place. I was like, yo, Wadi, I got so much of him in the badge. Browell, let's go. You did. Yeah, get out of time. Yeah. Yeah. Michael being a little tongue in cheek here late season hammer play in the aluminum. Nice. But you know, ask ask Yosh what a what a winning team looks like and you do need to hit on the breakout selections. Like Michael Wilson is a good one and obviously the cost is a little different, you know, the price Michael Wilson was so cheap. I guess McBride would be another good one. Like McBride was a fixture of a lot of the top teams there. And you do need to get these massive hits because what happens is there is this like survival of the fitness element to the teams, obviously, right? Like every week you're facing a stronger and stronger team. And so the whole ability of like, yeah, you're mitigating risk early, especially week one, where then you are trying to get out of the six of 12 into the one of twos. Like you do need the guys that can single handedly win you weeks. And so that I think that's why it's such a fun format because the quote unquote eliminator asked teams, they might be very live to make it to weeks six or seven, but they could be drawing dead to make it to week 12 or 13 if you don't have that firepower. Right. Yeah. Perfectly articulated. The other the other end of the spectrum is that like the Michael Wilson, you need that back end breakout guide to who scores for you every week that was just going to be a once in a while score or, you know, yep. We got the quarterbacks Parker Washington DK Metcalf Rico doubt all anyone have a name. Let's take Drake May. We talked about it last time. You get that little bit of Hendo correlation. It's a week 11 by I'm with it. Yeah, let's do it. I was I was tempted at Rico, but I think there's still like, we've got like a couple more rounds until last call at usable running back. Yeah. So May was a really fun pick there. Oh, I still got my Rico stuff pulled up. Rico's caught like 40 balls each of the last two years. Guess how many Jalen warnings caught each of the last two years? 51, 40 last year and 38 the year before. So like man, so many of the things like are similar, you know, he played 15 games the year before dude. He was hurt. Like playing. He got hurt and then was like continued to be hurt that year. Yeah, I mean, yeah, it is interesting because the thought was that Rogers would be checking down way more. I guess the thing is, is like, are they going to use these guys interchangeably interchangeably like changing drives? And look, Rico comes back. I think that's that's there. Yeah. Yeah, that feels great. We can always in getting Drake wanted into Vante Smith. Again, you have that those two high end guys who can carry you there. But then we can build out some depth pretty easily, I think in these, these next rounds. Yeah, I'm trying to get on board with the not caring about buys buy overlap. But I just think intuitively it just makes too much sense to not like pivot off that if you can help it for limited projection sacrifice. I think one, especially to like you think about how massively your equity increases, you know, even like us with week 11 buys, I mean, making it to week 11 in this contest is like, you have built an absolutely sick team. And then essentially you are kind of flipping coins and you kind of do hope you get on the good side of randomness where you play another team that week who has a couple of week 11 buys and then you squeeze that team through like that really is kind of like what you're doing. You can't protect your downside every single week of the contest and still draft the best possible team every time. The other thing about the backweighted ones too is that when you show up like that late in the contest and you have a team that's worthy of still being there that late in the contest, that you will then overlap more with the remaining player pool then. So it's less impactful that you have an 11 buy. Yeah, that's a good point. Yeah, especially if those buy weeks are some of the lead winning picks that I carry. Like if Drake May and Hendo are the dudes this year, there's going to be a lot of people taking zeros that week. Right, exactly. Yeah, and Yosh says the Sims are definitely melting my brain re re buys. Yeah, that's interesting. What was, does anyone remember off the top of their head what Arizona's buy was last week or last year, rather? Thanks seven for some reason. I do want to get single digits. Oh, interesting. I was venturing. I guess it was late. And that's why the McBride stuff and the Michael Wilson stuff was so, so strong. They were 14 last year. Wow. Again, wow. Yeah, we're 14. I saw we gave. We gave, okay, let's see. Wow, everybody's all over. Yeah, it's we gave it. It's we got a we got to punish AI man. It was eight, it was eight. I like, I like downs here, like over QJ and peers for a liminator. And yeah, either that are craft good with it. I'd rather have downs. We need while I receive your help more than we can backstack three tight ends. I love craft, but I think down just like the picture. Can we get on the same page? We gave week 14. What is this Mandela effect that's happening? NFL. Um, it was we gave. It's, it's week 14 this year. It was week eight last year. Yes, it was week eight. I'm calling it here, folks. They put the brand on week 14. That was. Yeah, dog both. Bring me back to school yard before. I'll just make shit out loudest voice. That's arrived in that environment. Wow, that was yes, word Smith right there. Blue list is correct. It was Panthers giant San Francisco paths for those week 14 hammers. Panthers, baby. Sorry, Yoshi, you just vacated your title as current eliminator champ by getting the Arizona Cardinals 2025 by wrong. Yeah, that's a proxy. You're waiting, I have to split your winnings with us. He didn't care. He didn't care about buys enough. And look, he won the whole damn thing. So it's a fact. I think I'm crafty back. Yeah, you want it craft. I'm good with craft at this price. Yeah, one, one quick peek at the running backs. Yeah, we got Brooks Mason Jones. All these guys suck. All these guys suck actually. I want to do it with Mason. I'm warming up all these guys are terrible. Okay. Yeah, yeah, they do suck. Good point, Ness. I think they're all like 94% David Montgomery brother. They suck Pete. They're so down. They're going to see Rod 102. Yeah, it's over. We got some some Ian Rappaport's slop right now. Oh boy. I remember and JJ McCarthy quarterback battle will go in parentheses right up to the start of the season. Oh, I bet. Dude, I hope we can we get cheaper Kyler would be. Let's do it. You know how this is going to end? He's going to well, actually, no, this is a obsession spoilers. So I don't want to. I haven't actually seen that yet. I haven't seen it. Have you guys seen the Odyssey yet? No, two weeks. A couple of Saturdays from now going to see 70 millimeter, baby. The way my go intended. Can you explain what that means to me? I've seen all these people with different screens and then seeing that some faces are condensed. It's a different. It means it's a different screen size and he only filmed in 70 millimeter. So if you're not watching in a theater in which there's only like a handful in the entire country that actually shows 70 millimeter, you're getting a cropped version of the movie a little bit. I download it on my phone. So I hope no one's not pissed about that. Well, I said the Odyssey from a bootleg the Kramer record that. I want one of those old school like with you know, like lime wire and those first hit you download a movie. It was someone literally at the movie theater recorded the screen. So I want to watch all Acre man got to get Acre man right now. So many so many would cough while they're holding the cap quarter. And it'll be like like 40 minutes into the movie and be like, oh man. Man, those platforms back in the day. you never knew what kind of viruses you're going to get lime wire like bear share back in the day. All those bear shared. That's what John's body was really changing. That's a good joke. It's a very strong it's very strong material there feet. Thank you. I like some of these wide receivers. Jacobi, pier saw golden, wandel. I'll feel pretty good here. Yeah, wandel gives you that. Backstack. Last call Bill. Jacobi. Okay. I'm going pier saw. Exact. Exact decision. Pier saw at 116. I think that's I think it's like the PPR half PPR thing. I think that's too big of a penalty for pier saw here. I think you'd be a big hit. I love pier saw. Yeah, big fan. Yeah, what did you guys think of this? I saw this the other day there's a chance craft might open up what on camp pop or whatever any concerns with craft. I hope he does because then we can get him even cheaper. Thank you, agers. They're talking about giving this guy an extension. I think they feel pretty confident in his health. Imagine setting your makeup then forgetting it's even theirs. Meet new groupie setting mist from Mavily New York. Delta mist technology locks in your look for up to 24 hours with flexible all day comfy grip. Try new groupie setting mist from Mavily New York. Maybe it's Mavily. That one's going to be no audio listeners don't get to get this joke. You got a watch on the YouTube for that one because audio listeners are sheltered from the the relentless trolling of of this guy. They don't know what we have to deal with. I mean, at least for me, it's more on a weekly basis. But for you guys, I assume it's it's daily. It's every day, man. It's the best. We are drafting an eliminator team. We are not drafting a suck at agers team. Drake May, CMC, DeAndre Swift, Trevian Henderson, Rico, Drake London, Devonta Smith, Josh Downs, Ricky Purcell, Tucker Kraft at tight end. Last call Tyrone Tracy. Nope. He goes, keep Mitchell. If you really want to get frisky. No, shout out, Grash. He put out a good article, but I'm not doing that. I'd say Kelsey. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Stop making early buy. Yeah. Speaking of like, John, you were talking about at what point do we stop, you know, accounting for college stuff? Grash made a did make a pretty interesting convincing argument for Keaton Mitchell on behalf of his college workload, which I think people would assume was really light. But he was like, he was essentially a workhorse and handled more work than Devon H and who he's the same age as I did not know that. That's all we need is more pattern matching, you know, fuel for the Devon H and Ricky year. Mike. I'll break out. Yeah. I mean, it definitely made me more comfortable taking him in some slow drafts that I was in. Yeah. Because I was I was a stone zero before then. Yeah. I was too. I think I think there's a show on the internet somewhere on the fantasy life airwaves where I said he was the worst pick on the board in in round 11. Yikes. Asking them to scrub that one. They said why? And I was like, well, Ben Grash broke 2500 words calling you a boomer. So. Oh, Tuesday. I can always wrap it. It's just like it's going to be a lot more tricky and read draft. You know, basketball, whatever, all the week 17, there you go. You're a redrap, bro. People forget. People forget unless they see that eliminator slow cue. And then they'll remember. Yeah. I'm looking for the actual quote. But you guys do realize like the quote before of like where McDaniel's went into the GM's office and like how to list of players that he was like, we need these guys and Keaton Mitchell is at the top of the list. Yeah. That was a big part of the thesis that Gratius putting out. Right. Okay. As long as we're all aware that he just really wanted this guy. It's hard to take it. It's just hard to take Michael Daniel serious. Yeah. On the clock, Shaheed here, no buy. Danny Dimes, pardon. I think Dimes. Oh, you're right. I forgot we're down to just two quarterbacks here or one right now. Good call. Good call. 713 downs as well. Good stuff. Yeah. This is a good eliminator team. I think we got I think we got a little bit of upside here mixed in with like some solid floor. I'm I like how this seems coming together right now. Do we do we definitively know the does anybody had an article up yet or whatnot with the report dates for camps like I saw like a bunch of rookies and you know, they have they do the rookies first like pictures and catchers style. I saw some rookies reporting today and yesterday. Do we know when like everybody reports for camp? I didn't use any quad credits on that. So I'm not sure. Sure. You know, Google do this for you for free. It looks like most of the dates are some starting today Texans 722 724 lots. There's a 725 in there 726. Yeah. It's it's all happening within the next week. Yeah. Next next week basically. Okay. Cool. It always fluctuates based on like this years a little bit later of a start to the season. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It relies on. Yeah. The market for a wide receiver here. Trey Tucker nailer have the week 13 buys. What do you guys think Jennings has a week since I just eat the week six. I think Jennings feels like instant roll kind of floory. I agree. I think Jennings feels better. Yeah. What have you guys been doing with Trey Tucker? I don't I don't click him a ton, but I was given him a long look right there. I don't know. What do you win when you win Trey Tucker? Yeah. I don't I think I'm maybe at like 2% like take him when I have Michael mayor to make the Fernandes Mendoza pick, you know, feel better than the in the 16th. You would you take Michael Bayer the 13th? Yeah. That was that was that was a 20 slip of course. Alright. Here's the squad 2 4 5 2 May in Daniel Jones, CMC Swift, Hendo in Rico up top. Drake London, Devonta Smith, Josh Downs, Ricky Peer, Saul Jawan, Jennings at wide receiver, Tucker craft and Travis Kelsey at tight end. Not bad, not bad. I mean, the nice things you could say about Trey Tucker is like he was pretty he was pretty productive last year, 25 year old guy around three guy who's now on an expiring rookie deal. He's going to want to get paid next year. They brought in Nailer to get paid though. You just you can't fathom that may I mean maybe Mendoza is good and you know all of the auxiliary Vegas pieces are underrepresented right now, but like man, I just can't think that broken back, broken shoulder, hurt cousins and then a rookie coming in behind and support the ADPs of all these guys. Last year looked awful. It is it is a like who else is their thesis? I feel like for these guys and I don't know. Jalen Nailer does have stands and you know, Trey Tucker did did much better than people thought and he has like you know, a couple seasons of being semi productive, but these are just not picks that I'm typically making in an eliminated or best ball. Yeah, I don't see the vision for Nailer at all, but I see it I see it with Tucker because he's he's consistently been able to earn targets and spike there. And again, like if we're going to boost powers, if we're going to boost genty and talk about improved offensive line play, improved quarterback play like Trey Tucker as the wide receiver one is also going to be the benefit of that. Denzel Boston, Hawkinson, Brian Robinson, Calvin Ridley, Rodgers, if you want a third quarterback. I like Ridley. Now get with Ridley. Let's see, do I get it in here in time? And there we go. I always work by ETR rank to get Ridley up there at the top. Yeah, there you go. Trey Tucker scored five touchdowns last year. Three were in the same game. Trey Tucker broke 62 yards once last season and it was 145. Yeah, I mean, like if it was an it was a disaster for the Raiders entire off. And that's why I'm kind of making the thing like we're all on board with the Raiders. resurgence with bours and genty, but kind of not waving the other pieces. Yeah. Except Michael Mayer, who you just made an impassioned case for less than 30 minutes ago. Furthermore. I still think there are a lot of design, one of these receivers. We'll see. There got a lot of money to play with if they feel like spending it. Let's see, this looks like it could be third tight end territory here for us. We're in the Siddeck Barner, Hawkinson, Helm range. Probably want a third here on a craft and Kelsey team. Yeah, I think so. Let's see. I think Barner is kind of like a tear above if we want it. Aughton. Yeah. I like Aughton a lot too. Sure. Think good with either. Get a lemonade or ask click. Doesn't overlap the buys and it's a late buy too. Yeah. Yeah, craft 11, Kelsey 5, Aughton 10. That was nice. A little tight end run there. Hawkinson, Siddeck, Aughton, Barner, now Helm. Yeah, this is the light. The lights just went off and on for tight end. It's last call. It's right. Off and on the clock. There you go. Another double entendre to the name on the clock. Don't even ask me how. I am excited to get back to our true off and on the clock time, you know, the late Friday afternoon. Yeah. I heard that title. And now we're here. Monday at her Tuesday at 1.42 p.m. Eastern. Not so much off the clock, but. Yeah. If you're, if you're fortunate enough West West Coast alarm clock off. That's what that's what I call this one for you. Marvin moms ask for a liminator how good would your QBs generally need to be to feel good only going to. For me, like the draft capital spent is pretty similar to traditional formats. I just tend to push it at QB a little bit more in a liminator and end up with more 3QB builds, I would say, but would you guys draft like if you get like what we just did right Jane Daniels and DAC like I'm okay in a liminator shutting it down at that. Yes, I'd be fine with the one we just did in a liminator shutting down it too. I don't know. I think the sediment is like our mindset's like wrong about it. It's like the reason we want three investment mania is the ping pong effect and the pods and stuff and the reason we want three in the liminator is floor, not roars, right? And it's like, aren't those kind of just the same thing, you know, where you're just looking for useful scoring weeks anyways. So I'm kind of just 3QB pilled overall, but I fully agree with the draft capital thing where it's like if you're taking your second one after like round 10, I probably want three. What's interesting is like the S words are like pretty comfortable with two mid quarterbacks in the liminator. Interesting. Yeah, which I'm like trying to rationalize and I think I think it makes sense. I think I kind of get it. But that did strike me as a surprising. Well, if you think about like home league head-to-head scoring, what's the easiest position to punt? It's always quarterback and you stream a quarterback because mean projection is so high. Speaking of which, I do like Mendoza late if you guys want a third quarterback here. Yeah. There's nobody that I'm like thrilled about here. Yeah. I wish we had great talker with him now. That has to just be like a small sample thing. It's okay. We can go four tight ends here and put put a little Michael Mayer on this one to make it all make sense. I've drafted and now this is this this team has Theo Johnson written all over it. Dude, what do you guys think about a liminator point scoring bar being lower to hit in like threshold to enter your flexes lower in a head-to-head than it is in a pod-based format where you have to finish two out of 12 so that like four tight end builds are considerably better when you go back and look at all the zeros that everybody else is just taking in the back end right now. That's what I had seen too when I made the video last year with Christopher Davis and the four tight end builds showed up more frequently than I think you'd imagine probably for that very reason. I would agree with that, John. I think you're you're like far less likely to take a zero. Right. Or yeah, and like if you're we always talk about it on showdowns, lates and stuff like that. If you're if you're touchdown hunting, where do you where do you find touchdowns from? It's like, you know, just throw dart at that back at back up tight end. Throw dart at that second tight end. Yep. So we have two more picks, three, four, six, three. I wouldn't mind a step here on like a march on Lloyd as like a late RB five with big swing potential. He's the only like running back left that kind of intrigues me and then we just got the usual suspects at wide receiver. Yeah, I mean, at least cups not a zero in this format in my opinion, but yeah, I'm good with taking a swing. I like Lloyd. I've slowed down on Lloyd just because he I was honestly taking like quite a bit of him and in some slow drafts, but I I I like Lloyd. So I'm cool with that. He he's I'm excited for him to like if he is healthy to be healthy and like see what the workload split actually looks like with him and Josh Jacobs because a lot of talk from the get go that he was like really going to like interchange and and just as like never been healthy. So if he's healthy, I'm excited to see like what this split can can look like for Josh Jacobs who's efficiency just continues to to decline. You want that you want the propaganda this actually just article posted on Packers dot com. So consider the source, but they count the camp series. They say after a recurring hamstring injury and it is 2025 season without a member appearing in a regular season, gain the former third round pick traveled to California this off season to meet with Dr. John Meyer of the Meyer Institute of sport, a battery of tests, determined that Lloyd's issues may stem from the tornels ACL that caused him to miss his freshman year at University of South Carolina. Yada Yada, they say the 24th five year old running back avoided any setbacks and quickly reminded the Packers of what he's capable of when healthy should burst out of the backfield and explosive one cut ability while nifing through the interior offensive line. This is in regards to the Packers offseason program. So basically a little puff piece that he is back to full health and they are envisioning big things for him this year. Turn me up. Turn me up. There you go. Let's see here, fourth tight end one more wide receiver. Some some talk about Keenan Allen in the chat here. Yeah, I didn't get a chance to speak up and tell you to take Keenan over Marchant Lloyd because I've heard his name in a minute. Tight ends. Yeah, you're basically a sicky bait. That's probably a pretty good eliminator pick with the round 13 buy in the fast start. Yeah, I'm good with Christian Kirk. I'm good with bait man. I'm good with Giseki. Kirk's good. Kirk's real good. Yeah, what about are there any giants receivers playing the neighbors angle. Yeah, sorry, let me just get the cue going here. NYG Slayton and Malachi Fields, Kuju Odell. Probably Christian Kirk. Yeah, pairing him with Pierce all feels like a good little duo there. Yeah, that team's going to score a lot of points. And we do have CMC as well. So here's the squad 3573, Drakemate Daniel Jones and Mendoza at quarterback CMC Swift Hendo Rico Doudal in the rebuild Marchant Lloyd, a man whose body is unrecognizable compared to what it was just a couple years ago. Drake London, Devonte Smith, Jostowns, Ricky Pierceall, Juan Jennings, Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, some eliminator as picks to close it out there. And then Tucker Kraft, Travis Kelsey, Kate Atten. What do we think? I like this team. I mean, I take a lot of these guys. To me, running backroom is probably the most important thing for me in these eliminator drafts. And I think we got a really good one. High ceiling wide receivers mix in with some floor plays there. I feel pretty good about it, man. Like, yeah, I think we did a good job with that. Agreed. It leaves me the way a lot of these eliminators believe me. It's just like, this is an eliminator as team. And, you know, we got guys who could score fantasy points on it, but it's not going to like, it doesn't, it doesn't jump up and down like a break the slate kind of, kind of team. But maybe that's how an eliminator team should feel. I could never get out. I've only drafted with him once or twice, but high low from one week of season. I always laugh because like, you finished drafting a team with him. And I always remember like, ask him that question. How are we doing? He's like, another one in the portfolio. I'm trying to move out of that. And that's how I felt when you're like, what do you feel about the team? Another one in the portfolio. There's another bullet in the chamber brother. I mean, imagine Henderson getting off to a faster start than people expect and just being an efficiency monster. Yeah, CMC remaining healthy. Steam this team will, a team will smash. This uh, if I had to sum up this team within, with three words, it would be suck it, eggers. Easter egg there. No pun intended. Yeah, the audience, uh, I don't think we're, uh, I have time for one more draft. Sorry, but you guys can go back and watch the PPR Frenchy. And look, I mean, here's the thing. I mean, you guys can do your own overflow. You guys can do your own rug bowl, you know, hop in the discord, organize. You won't get a banner that says suck it, eggers on screen while you draft, but you can still foster the friendship and that community drafting together. There you go. And you can come draft baseball with me. I'm going to do an abbreviated version of what we normally do for the members only, but that probably means with me it's probably still going to be an hour. There you go. What else do you guys have on top this week? So John's doing that today. Tomorrow and Thursday. Uh, I think it's business as usual, some baseball. Yeah, some baseball football. Yeah. And then we're both out Friday and then I'm out all next week. But I will say Thursday, there's there's little T's. There's a surprise coming. Thursday. Surprise coming on Thursday. Yeah. Not just even for me. All right. No, it's not as we were just not a call where you were hearing about the surprise. So you think you can act. Guess not. Just like you take a Michael Bayer and round 13 to set up your Mendoza stacks. Anything else for you guys? No, good. No, be right over on the Badgebrow's channel in six minutes here. For me, I got Swolcast today at three. Liam, Mr. We'll see who can be a high man on the totem pole with a booka love today, filling in for life of leisure, Maddick now going on week three of missing the show. Yeah, I know. ADP chasing tonight 7 30 as usual. He's somehow going to be back for that, but not this whole cast. You probably saw on Twitter, we are going to have the randomizer coming back this week with the three finalists for so you think you can tell squares, cups, and PPR Tyler. That show got moved from Thursday to Wednesday. So that's now kicking off tomorrow at 11 30 a.m. Eastern. We'll have shift chasing tomorrow. We're going to do a show looking at the ambiguous positional groups where league winners could come from. So like Minnesota running backs, Packers, Wide receivers, you know, Jacob's been doing a bit of that series on his substacks. So that'll be a fun show. And then I have two more AfterDarks on tap. I did AfterDark with cups on Saturday night. I'm going to do one with squares tomorrow night in PPR on Friday. So all kinds of tout content and then the best ball bash on Thursday, which I'll plug one more time last week's best ball bash. So, so fun. All time. Just a trio there. Fantasy Pill was who was in the chat. And then we had a little Trev who's known to the max and then Teegard and his dad Drafton from the medical supply warehouse. It literally had everything. It was funny. You know, it brought, you know, brought some tears to my eyes. It was it was everything, man. Beautiful. All right. Go watch, John. Walk you through the best ball or the MLB slate I should say. And make sure you guys are subscribed over there to the Bad Bros. Become a member.
