These narratives are framed as reflections of deeper human desires and fantasies. Complementing this, a segment on climate change examines market-based solutions to emissions, noting that despite growing incentives, emissions continue to rise. Other segments include a sports discussion that blends humor and analysis—like a road trip bowling alley incident and commentary on a controversial football play—while highlighting fan reactions and team dynamics. The podcast also promotes various shows, such as *Dear Chelsea*, *Big Lives*, *Who’s With Me*, and *Good Game with Sarah Spain*, emphasizing personal, cultural, and societal stories. Overall, the content blends entertainment with meaningful exploration of desire, authenticity, and real-world challenges, all delivered with a conversational and relatable tone.

Welcome to hour two of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Now, here's Matt Jones. Welcome back, hour number two, Kentucky Sports Radio, 859-282-287. Shannon, can you hear us? Yes, I got you. We were talking to you during the break and we couldn't hear you. All right. I had somebody else in here talking to me, so I turned you. All right, we'll tell them to shut up. We're trying to talk to you. This next machine is 7-7-2, 7-7-4-5-2-5-4. Folks, writing in, talking about the game. I did hear something I do want to say. From someone that would know, Will Stein is friends with the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma and was playfully joshing him that he couldn't outsmart him. Not really mad at him. They are friends going back is what I was told. There may have been a little that, there may also be a little bit. Yeah, eat it. You know, we're not going to fool us anymore. We learn that a little bit. You know, they're going to be friends. I'm going to say it was friends, Joshy. You know, just a little. I'm going to buy into it. Just a little. All right. All right. Well, Shannon, I want to tell you a story before we go back to folks. All right. 859-282-287. So this happened to us Friday. And we get to have these road trip things happen. This is the first time this had ever happened to us. Yes. All right. So normally, so people know, when we do KSR, usually what happens is we either have a place in advance or like this morning will be in a hotel and Ryan will walk downstairs, Shannon, before the show and say, hey, would you all care if we set up in the lobby? Sure. We've done that. And 98% of the time they say yes. Always very gracious. Couple of times they'll say no and we'll do it in the room. Yeah. Right. That's usually how it works. Matt Mirens a little different, especially on this road trip because I don't know where we're going to be. Right? It depends on what time we get out of there. Yeah. It's random. It's kind of random. It's kind of random. And we're not going to have a crowd. So really, I don't even need to have like a good local. I really just need a seat. Yeah. So it makes it much easier. Right. So we leave Tulsa and we're driving to Oklahoma City. And the only town really in between is a town called Chandler O'Clome. Beautiful town. Population 3000. Population 3000. So we're driving to town. You know, the town is like two blocks. See a really nice coffee shop. Go in. I'm like, Shannon, this is perfect. I'll do it in this coffee shop. Yeah. Goes in coffee shop closes at two o'clock. People don't drink coffee and Chandler pass to a coffee. Nope. It's good coffee, by the way. It was good. Really good coffee. Guys, very nice. He was like, you know what? Got the perfect place for you. There's a bowling alley in town. The root 66 bowling alley now because Chandler is right on root 66. Okay, because Chandler is right now. Is it right on 66 root 66? It seems to embrace root 66 as its thing. Look, everything is root 66, whatever. Right? So we go to the bowling alley and we walk in now. To be fair, we're quite an eclectic crew walking in there. And we have equipment, etc. And we have our coffee from the coffee shop. Right. Yeah. And we walk in and I'm like, Hey, my name is Matt Jones. I want to do Matt Miron here. Do you care? And this little kid snotty knows kids working at the front. He was like, you're going to have to ask Sid. I shouldn't know. There was a problem. As you said, you should have to ask Sid. Well, Sid was walking away at that. Yeah. As he said that, we see a man turn and walk away from it. So I go up to Sid. Now you got to picture this. And Sid is eating like this nat like this sandwich. He's eating like a steak sandwich. And he's like, got cheese all over his hands. And I'm like, Hey, Sid, my name is Matt. I host Matt Miron on ESPN Radio. And I just was wondering, do you mind? And like, there's this is a bowling alley. People are bowling. They're eating three or four people in there. And it's been root 66. So there's like old timey signs and everything. It's kind of a cool little place. Very cool. And I'm like, do you care if I just sit here and do this show? I'll I'll publicize the root 66 bowling alley, etc. Now my man, Shannon is eating his sandwich. He just looks. He stares at the floor of us. And then he just licks his fingers. And goes, yeah. I'm good. And what do you say to that? He just says, I'm good through Matt for a minute. It threw me for a minute. I've had people say they couldn't do it or they wanted to ask their manager. But I've had never had a man put his finger in his mouth and lick it. And then look at me and go, I'm good. I don't need your advertising. So I said, listen, okay, like we won't be a bother. And then Drew standing next to me and Drew goes, we're going to bowl and we'll buy food while he's doing it. Yes. And then he stands back, folds his hand and looks at all of us. Like one by one. Looks at all of us and then goes, yeah. I'm good. I'm like, I've been around enough people in places like that that I'm like, all right, you're sure you're like, you're like, but I also was like, we just need to let this go. We're going to go somewhere else. Drew, for one of the very few times I've ever seen is a bald. And Drew's like, well, I mean, I'm going to bowl like, and I was like, Drew, it's fine. It's fine. Really? So I said, hey, it's good. Do you have any suggestions of what we can do? Now, most people would take that chain and it's like a recommendation of another place or something. My man walks and picks up a sign that was in a different part of their place and comes back and goes, my suggestion would be when you see a sign that says no food or drink from outside, you follow it. So that was that he was mad that we had a cup of coffee and Mario was eating nerd gummy clusters like a little child That's what he was mad at and he then proceeds to walk us out the door carrying this on carrying the sign Shannon and waving it at us as we walk out That's worse than the time we get kicked out of the Memphis Peabody hotel It was much worse than the Memphis Peabody because at least the Memphis Peabody was like we can't have a show in the middle of our thing These people he carried the sign and followed us out the door walk this out the door. I've never seen anything like you boys Laos and That's what it was like it was like You boys I've never seen I was we all were completely shook we could not believe it. I still can't believe it It's a good thing. Havi wasn't there with his hot dog in his pocket He was exactly the hot dog would have kept his off I've never seen anything like it. It was super weird It was super weird. It was so hostile. Yeah, nobody was in there I was like three or four people in a bowl people in there It was so hostile for no reason. Well, we went down the road They had a root 66 information center the women there were very nice super nigh turns out it was the hundredth anniversary of root 66 And they were having a party that night it was great and then later the people from the town had heard me tell the story on the air Shannon and they came in and apologized on behalf of the town So I'm not gonna. I have no disparaging words about Chandler Arizona Nice people. So everybody was nice, but see outside of sit See that's it Didn't bring your coffee in your nerdy guppy closet. You just didn't want us to be there. That's fine If Sid does I get it like if you don't want us to be there. That's totally fine. Here's what I think happened It goes me How do you think it was you? Yeah, cuz you're so handsome Marin on Marin on ESP and Shannon said he thought Sid was like Definitely wasn't you I'm gonna give him a more charitable view. I Think when I said ESPN. Yes, he had the look of a guy who's like I'm gonna have that mainstream media in here. That's what I think. That's what I think that's exactly I think what happened around these parts. Yeah, we don't you be bringing at ESPN in here. I think you heard ESPN and freaked him out That's what I thought but it still was unnecessarily totally unnecessary Hostel, but it ended up being perfect. We went to the sock sock application. They were all getting it ready for the big event that night But I've never what was funny about it was of all the people there. I Handled it. I think the bad thing. Oh, I was like, okay. Shookie for a minute. I was like, okay, if you don't want us here You don't want us here Drew was Drew was adamant like what is it? It's not even Drew's show, right? Drew just wanted to ball let it go bowling Get cheeseburger and ball Shannon. It was crazy and I'd be a Steve you were there Shannon. I kind of wonder if you two would have been kind of frustrated. I said look if I'm gonna come in here and bowl You don't want my business? We know coffee shop guy came by sandwich. Yeah, he came back by and apologized on behalf of the town He was like on the board of trustees whatever the town and he said he was gonna have a word with said he did Then we went happy with it. He goes man We want tourism. That's what we're trying to build up there. There may be a council meeting here coming up Shane and we're we're said is confronted about this the town is gonna turn against them. The town is gonna be upset It said come. I said Chandler Arizona. Thanks Chandler. I'm sorry. We weren't in Arizona, but nevertheless That was a really strange part of our but otherwise People very welcoming all over the street every location we've been has been awesome But there were nobody nicer than the Oklahoma fans. They were fantastic. Next time somebody asked me something I don't want to do shit and I'm just gonna lick my finger I'm good Whatever vision Shannon you have a what this guy look like you're dead Who's up next Virginia? Virginia go ahead Virginia Hey, thanks for taking my call This one of the say I was actually I actually live in Oklahoma outside of Norman in Washington, Oklahoma and got to see you all at the pregame show on Saturday and I can tell you you nailed it when you said that The fans are mad and I think the the environment in the stadium would be way better had Oklahoma not missed that fake field goal as soon as that happened That may be to play the fire to coach our body. Yeah, I mean, I think you're right. I think you're right That that Virginia you're right. And it was nice to see you. I appreciate you coming by the pregame show Thank you for appreciate the call They were mad about that Because they didn't like the call or the execution and then did you hear after the game? Vintables blame the referee for being in the way You're kidding. He did he said well, it looks like the referee was in was in the way So I went back and watched go back and watch that play referees are not in the way referees They're not in the way of the offensive player or the deep in place. I'll also note Shading the referees are standing where they always stand on a kick, right? So if you're gonna draw up that play You have to consider that the referees are gonna be there be right there. This one. I have no Referees if yeah, why why why why why I don't even understand why they were doing that to begin with why go for a fake? I don't understand it either. I mean, I Guess they thought they had his fold. I will say it was open It was it was open. He just overthrew him I mean it wasn't cause the referee was in the way he just overthrew him I like to think that at the last two games LSU and Oklahoma their cookie staff is so scared of us To the head of resort to a trick play both time lane You've been big on that and I hadn't thought of it like that But that's a good point. I mean we've had two major like power programs. Yes, feel like they had to resort to Decoration early in the game in order to in order to do so in order to try to beat us So let's respect, but she's exactly right. They their fans were furious at that play call Oh as we were checking out of the hotel yesterday morning in Oklahoma City the dude Yeah, there was Oklahoma fan. He's like John Matier. He trash. He's terrible. He trash. Yeah, we know good He trash. Welcome back. That's what he said, not nearly as nice as that. I don't know why Mario's convinced it was him. It was me. You allow for you, but you seems you look so nice. Nobody's going to be upset about it. I don't think I said cares. I real quick. Tell Shannon about the bar where you could ride bull. Oh, Shannon, it was a scene. Yeah, let me just say that. It was a scene. Yeah. Oh my goodness. It was a good bull. No, absolutely not. So you can tell it's scared. So the general pot. So this is a, when I say ride bulls, it's not a mechanical. No, it's a real real real. It's so wild, like a real bull. And like, apparently anyone can do it, but you have to like sign up like two months and a half. Two months and a half, take a couple of classes. Side a bunch of waivers probably. But so then they just push in. They just put these five people on a bull. And they're big mad bulls. They were angry. I've never seen anything like it. It's like a bar. It's at a bar. It's called cowboys. And it was packed packed. 300 everywhere, 300, 400 people, 300, 400 redneck white people right here, but it was. It was fun. And I had fun. I had fun. I thought it was a fun bar. It was an experience. Mario had less fun. He was like, although he didn't see the love of his life. Walk. No, I did not. No, no, no, no, no, no, I did not. This as we walked out this woman. I felt bad for her. As we walked out, Mario was like, yeah, I don't know about that place. And at that moment, like the second, this woman, poor woman, she was running the bar. And she went, hey, and she had one, two, four, five, four, five, four, five, four. Mario, Mario, just Mario had to look like where are where have you taken? Hello, Oklahoma City. That's where it was saying that was, that was one for the, for the books, eight, five, nine, two, eight, no, twenty, two, eighty, seven, one person writes, Matt, how would you rank the final five games in terms of difficulty? Oh, good question. Okay, the easiest one is on paper is Vandy at home. Yes, yep. Probably the second easiest on paper is Louisville at home. I think it is. So the front, the first and the last, in the middle, I'm going to rank it Tennessee on the roads, the hardest, yeah, Missouri on the roads, the second hardest Florida at home is third. I just think home field matters. Florida might be a better team than Missouri, but I think we can go on the road, although we're three on the road. Yes, yes, yes, on the road. I'm going to say Tennessee on the road, Missouri on the road, Florida, Louisville, Vandy. How would you do it? I think that's fair. I don't know about the, the Florida Missouri game. That's the only way you flip off them. But I agree with you. Tennessee is number one. The Florida game, we talked about this, you know, they hired a guy who was coach here, played here, people want him to be our coach. I think Will's time to do everything he can to win that game. I mean, he, that may be the one he's had circled all day. Remember one good thing about Tennessee is we have two weeks to get ready. Now, so do they. So do they. But I think our coach is smarter than their coach. No, I mean, I do. Yeah. They may have better players. So they. I think we got a smarter coach. They had a big win too this past weekend. They did. That's a great win for them. But I, you know, I didn't get to see that game because we were doing our pre-game show. So I don't really know how. It was a crazy day in the SEC Saturday, wasn't it? It was. There was up next. Nico. Nico, go ahead and Nico. So Matt, what's going on? What's going on? Say, you know, how excited I am about this team, you know, it's just, I was optimistic about the whole time coming in, I've never imagined to be in this good. Great year. But I'm just going to ask, if, um, if this team played against, you know, the best Mark Stoops team or the best, like, Will Levis team, who do you think would win? That's a good question. I mean, so I guess what do you consider to be the best Mark Stoops team? Is it the. Josh Allen, Benny Schnell. So the one that won the Citrus Bowl, but, uh, I think that was easier. Better than the Will Levis team. I think so. They were on both sides of the ball that year. Yeah, I agree. We had, uh, Terry Wilson, um, Benny Schnell, Lynn Bowden. Lynn Bowden, yeah. Josh Allen. Josh Allen. Yes. So I agree with you. I think that's the best team. How do you think that one would play with this one? Well, we said this team, we really don't have any major superstars. We don't have guys. We have a lot more than I thought. Really good players. Good players. Josh Allen was a superstar. Correct. And, and Benny Schnell was a college superstar. He was. He was. He was. He was. So I would say like, I mean, Lance heard, but he's an offensive lineman. So, I think, you know, we don't have the quarterback or running back of receivers that are going to be early ground draft picks. We've just got a bunch of really good players that have bought it. But let's say they played each other. I feel like, I feel like Will's going to be able to scheme stuff up. I would say that, that stoop's team was a little bit better. But if they played each other, I don't know what would happen. I'd love to see it. Was that it? Was that Eddie Grand? Was he our offensive coordinator then? He was, yeah. Yeah. That team was really good, man. But people forget how good, I mean, Benny Schnell, like you just guaranteed you, you were getting yards. Going to get in two, three. And Liv Bowden could make explosive plays. Yeah. And I think he was early in his career then, but even then. And our defense was solid too. Yeah. I might pick that team. Who's winning the quarterback matchup? Minty or. I mean, she's better, I think, than Terry Wilson. I mean, you were kind of, you wouldn't rank Minty high. Are you higher on him now? He just doesn't make the mistakes. He just makes the right read, the right decision play, every time. Right play, yeah. He's kind of boring, watching him, but you kind of want more. But in a good way. You want a boring quarterback. We're seeing him run a little bit more now as the season goes on. I like that from him. I think Minty. And he'll probably be our quarterback next year too. I think Minty is a quiet, really good guy. You're right. He's not. Did he put those guy numbers? He ain't going away? Nope. Not flashy. Probably at the end of the season when they rank the SEC quarterbacks, he won't be ranked very high just because he didn't put up the numbers. But you're not, but you can't be six and one if he's not good. No doubt. Because the other thing is, like, take the Terry Wilson team. Terry Wilson was decent, but Benny Snell was amazing. As good as our other skill position, guys, there's nobody that's like crazy. Amazing. Kenny Darby may be that one day, one day, but not right now. Well, he Rodriguez is very good, but like, it's just a solid group. Who's next? Justin. Justin. Go ahead, Justin. Hey, good morning, guys. Hey, my favorite thing that I heard maybe after the game was, I can't remember if it was calm. That's the game with Will or in the post game press conference, but somebody asked me about going forward, down instead of kicking it, and I said he hollered on the hit set, and he said immediately, everybody came back like go for it, go for it, go for it. So, the amount of. confidence that not only he has, but his staff back in him is just is so awesome. I mean, it's got the most to do with his success. I feel like totally agree with that. I agree with that. Well, on that point, I'll let you make your second point, but on that point, he did say after the game that that was one time he may have, like, he kind of questioned whether he did the right thing. Yeah. You know, the other times he's been like, I did the right thing on that one, including the fake punter didn't work at Alabama. He was like, that was the right thing. He did say on that one, I do question if I made the right decision there. So I do think that one was probably closer than any other one he's done and decided to do it. Go ahead. What's your second thing? My second thing is I love your guys' remotes, you know, almost as exciting. Maybe as exciting as the game was the post game and you're all stories and hearing everything. I'm in Meat County here in Brandenburg. Have you guys ever done a remote in Brandenburg because I have a perfect location? You guys. I have done one, but it was just me. That was when I appreciate the call. That was when my, when I was doing the book. I didn't want it that pizza place that's in a jailhouse and then we didn't want it meat county high school one time, I think. I can't remember ever being at meat. Or maybe me and Chris. I think that was me and Chris Tom on that word. So I have done one, but I don't think we've done like a one for the public. I don't think so. I don't think so. I don't think so. All right. We'll take a break. seven. It's Kentucky Sports Radio. TJ Smith, personal injury attorney, called TJ, he'll make him pay. Now more of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. What is the name of the town is Wildersville. Wildersville. We're actually we're just off the interstated hotel. There's the small town next by Wildersville population 161. That's it. Here's the fun fact. In 1999, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Ray Karuth was arrested in a parking lot of the best western hotel in Wildersville. He was found hiding in the trunk of his car. This is where he was arrested. Yes. I remember that. I do remember that. Where's the best? We're not at the best. Where's the best. I don't know. Oh, actually I saw when I was looking at the hotels. Did you see that? Yeah. That's the other side. That's where he was arrested. Conspiracy to murder his pregnant girlfriend. I remember they found him in the trunk. Yeah. And it was here. He was here. Wow. Why was he here? I don't know. I don't know what he was doing. I know if there's a population 161, Shannon three, I'm we're back here and won't shut the hell out. You got to hear what you're doing when you're at a remote. Well, I mean, they can't. They're just a bag. Do they just come here and hang out? I'll be the hangout spot. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, because they look like just three guys from the town, like right, I mean, the McDonald's is right there. Isn't that where people go? That's where the old folks go to hang out. Yeah. Not here. They go to the Hampton Inn. Hampton Inn lobby. So we're going to get our goal is to get to the other side of Nashville for Matt Meyer. Okay. I don't think we can get to Franklin. I don't think we have enough time. So we'll have to stay somewhere between get somewhere between Franklin and Nashville. We can make it. I mean, I know we can make it, but do you know a place between Franklin and Nashville? Oh, the Goodlitzville. It's where like there's this one called White House. I think it's there. Uh-huh. Yeah. Maybe we'll try there. Okay. 859-280-2287. One person says, Matt, you have to talk about basketball. They have their first game. You may not have watched it, but you have to say something about the game. Well, I mean, so I was at the volleyball game, which by the way was a great environment. Probably half the arena was blue. Half the arena was Kentucky. But the place was full. It was. It was a lot of Oklahoma fans too. I mean, it was half Kentucky, half Oklahoma. I mean, it was a firm. I mean, I'm probably 5,000 people there, right? 4,000 people. But my best vision is when the UK volleyball team came out of the locker room, and they just kind of stood and just looked around wide-eyed and smile a lot of people and a lot of people. Um, but so the basketball game was going on, and I just kept getting text messages. It was like, we're terrible. So I expected, but then I looked and we were up like 14, and I was like, why is everybody so upset? Um, look like the defense was from what I see. Again, I didn't see it. It was better. Shooting kind of an issue, although at the end, they ended up shooting like 42% and 43%. So why do you, why do you think people were so negative? I mean, you didn't see it. So I don't see a little bit of it because I was watching it in their fans. They were, they had it on their phones, but just like the offense didn't look good. A lot of turnovers, right? A lot of turnovers. At one point, we couldn't break the press. I was bad. I seen that. Me and Ryan seen that. But yeah, this offense, it didn't look, it didn't look like smooth. It didn't look smooth. It looked like, sometimes it looked like we was hard to get a shot off for Kentucky. Yeah, they, uh, I think they finally found their shooting eye. They found their groove a little bit in the second half. That's why the percentages went up. A lot of turnovers. But the one thing that concerned me the most, I heard from a guy who knows, he said, man, they just didn't seem like they were on the same page into chemistry, seem to be off. It's one game. Yeah. First game, first game, first game, first game. Yeah. It's a big game. It takes, it takes good, though, coming Friday. Well, we're going to overreact regardless of what happens where the fan base from over there. Speaking to Friday, folks, our remote Friday, you need to go ahead and put it on your count. Paul Miller. Is it Paul Miller, Ford and Lexington, we will have Milan and Malacats. Yes. Both will be there. And Matt, Matt Panaske, Matt Pondatowski. Yep. Maybe that's when I jerk. I'll jerk with him. I'm with him. You Matt because he's going to do better than him. Come on. He's going to be there. We don't know this kid. He tried. Have you tried? He's going to try. I'm going to try. I'll probably worse than Matt, but I'm also 60 years old. That's true. But you can, you can meet Malacai and Milan. Correct. Friday at the remote at Paul Miller, Ford. That's a big, that's a big remote. Susie Cakes coming again, I believe. Oh, they're coming. Susie Cakes coming. So just, just, just assume you're going to come Friday because that's a great weekend with Texas Tech and, sure, the Vandy game Vandy back to back. I mean, it's probably the best one, two weekend of games in Lexington. Cause like, when we play Florida, I think we play some bad team Friday. Oh, okay. And then we play Louisville. I don't think we play Friday. So this is the one weekend of that sort of one, two thing. I think we'll have a big crowd for that. For people who come in for the weekend, especially for the football game. To meet our two best basketball players. Two best basketball players. I'm not giving up on basketball moments. Two way to it. I mean, I hope you're not giving up. It's been one exhibition. Yeah, you can't give up. Exactly. I'm not. It's too early. It's way too early. Uh, who's up next guy? Guy, go ahead. Hey guys, I was trucking through Oklahoma City yesterday and I got east to town and then this big beautiful Paul Miller expedition flies by me. And my bigger one was that man. I mean, that was that was up. It was very nice. The Paul Miller X. And thank you to them for the car. We've, you passed me again in Arkansas. I don't know. I've ever been on road that had less of the only one I can think of his kids is it had less stuff. Treason. Well, my life. Hey guys, the thing I wanted. We're in these games now. And it's like a mood change. I mean, up until the pick six, I'm like, we're okay. We're okay. You know, attitude has changed all the games we've been so close. Then we let down and we lose. Man, we're winning. I think the confidence in the team. We've got a great team. Me as a fan, I'm like, we can win. We're going to win. And it's great. It's a great point. I'm like, man, I'm telling you, my whole attitudes, you know, and the games that we fear we got to go to Tennessee. Man, I feel confident we got to go to Missouri. The confidence is there. I think we can beat anybody. Yeah, Alabama was the lead there. Absolutely. But any game we're in now, I think man, we got a shot. No, I'm with you. Yeah, the confidence and I appreciate the call. It's contagious. I mean, I agree. I totally agree with you. I mean, three weeks ago, if we didn't kick that field goal, went four on fourth and didn't get it, I would just assume we have lost. Okay. I didn't assume that this time. Still thought we had a really good shot of stopping. They, you know, I mean, remember, we, when we missed that field or didn't take that field goal and they got the ball, didn't get the fourth down. I mean, they had two minutes left. Yeah. Three time outs and an all American kicker. Yep. That's a recipe to lose. And instead, we get an interception to pick six and then they get the ball back again. Everybody was leaving the stadium. And there are people quit. Yeah. And our people were celebrating. I think that one reason our pregame crowd was so awesome was the fact what the college has said they came here to win. They thought we were winning. They didn't come here just to go a new experience. Go to a game in Oklahoma. They came here to watch their. They thought we were in. We do need to know like we mentioned a little bit at the beginning. Drew on the post game show was just Drew. He's best. That was Drew Franklin. That was like a dream that I haven't seen in years. That was the Drew. I mean, I mean, when he was like, I'm not listening to the cops. That was when I was like, - He's like, "I drew." - He said that, wow. Yeah, I mean, the Cobb came over and was like, look, in 15 minutes, you got to get all these people out of the street. Because Shannon, we had basically, the street was closed down with our people, right? They were all in the middle of the street. And the Cobb was nice, he was like, you got in 15 minutes, you got to get these people out of the street, we have to open the street. And so, I say on the radio, like, you guys in 15 minutes, you got to get out of the street, and Drew was like, no. I am the street. I think he said, I am the street. Which I don't even know what that means. But, but, but he was on one and he, you probably will never hear me just giggle more in a post game show than I did because every time I looked at him, because Shannon, he would go back and forth between serious to funny to drunk, and it would just fluctuate back and forth and it just cracked me up. But then when he'd want to be serious, I'd be laughing and he'd tell me to stop laughing, say, what are you laughing at? Which would just make me laugh more, and his, you know how, Shannon, my arms flail around when I talk, his arms were flailing around. He smacked me on the chest at one point, he was on point, but he, but he was, but you could tell, and also the reaction from everybody seemed to say, like he was, he was making everybody feel good. I think there are a lot of our fans felt the same way, acting the same way as Drew that night at the downtown Oklahoma City in the night. One person makes a good point that that Oklahoma team was a lot like Stoops is good teams. Good defensively couldn't really move the ball, trying to just grind you out and wait for you to make mistakes, but we don't, we don't make mistakes. That's fair. That's why those teams are hard to play catch up. You know, you know, once you get to lead on them, they can't play catch up. The whole key to the game to me was our defensive front. Those guys played awesome and they continue to do that. We're going to have a bunch of chance to rest of these games. Yeah, great. Well, I think in the pregame show, it was Drew said he said it first. I feel like Adam said it first, but I'm not going to argue with Drew because he's feeling himself. But one of those two said first one to 21 wins. Yeah, and that's when that's ended up being what exactly what happened exactly whatever, by the way, all three offensive touchdowns are two offensive touchdowns was a tight end. Well, you're Audrey gives their offensive touchdown was a tight end Rocky beers. We always said the center driver ball whoever went to get Seneca all three touchdown score by tied in did I see he reaffirmed his. I think so. Home after the game. I think he did. Well, all right, you want to go lose go loose. Our touchdown score to tie it into their touchdown. Just they're tied in discord. One tidy. By the way, it is also very cool to see all of these little internet coaches, which break down plays, and they just continue to do our plays. Yeah, over and over. They love the Willie Rodriguez. I mean, we were talking about this yesterday, Shannon on the touchdown, the second, the second touchdown to Willie Rodriguez. We had to play a run the other way. Did you see that? I didn't notice that. So the touchdown that put us up 14 13. CJ, Javonte Barnes, is that who it is? Number two. Yeah, he runs out. He's by he's in the backfield. Then he runs out wide. And then when the ball snap starts running to the other in zone. Why? Well, I would not I would not have known why, but apparently according to this coach online, where he lined up. He's not an eligible receive. So if he makes a move down field. It's ineligible receiver down field. So in order to make sure that didn't happen, he runs in the other direction. But at his defender, you can seem be like, what is he doing? And he pauses. And that gives Willie the split second to get by. Go watch the play coach. Dan Casey or Don Casey. He breaks it down. But I didn't we had a player just running the wrong direction. But it was intentional. Is that not brilliant? It's brilliant. Who would even think to have a guy running the other direction? It's great screaming. It's like it's like in high school when people get on their knees and bark. Yeah. And here the BB, you're freaking out. Like, why is he running that way? And that's enough to that ball work. And then this was this was in the first drive. We had fourth and one and lined up for a push. And instead did an ender did. Yeah, we got the first day. Skinner. I think Skinner. Have you ever seen that? I don't know that I've ever seen a team do that. They lined up to do the push. Which we've done a number of times. And instead of doing it, we handed it off to Skinner who ran for like eight yards for a first step. That's why everybody so high on Will Stein and Joe Sloan, even a part of it. But like if you said to somebody, have someone run in the other direction, I've never seen that in any football ever. That's brilliant. Alright, we'll take a break and be right back, Skasa. Lisa, we should tell them about our new show. Oh my god, Lexi. We have a new podcast. I'm Lexi, you want to wear two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart. And I'm Lisa Julio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references, occasionally different opinions. And at this point in my 50s, I lived it all. I'm not gonna get any of your fighting. That is wild. I learned that about you today. Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business. And I've always got something to say. The men were just honest about this. Because you told us how accommodating you are. Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Lie. I don't really care. Vampires, Minotars, 12-foot skeletons, and apartment doors. Believe it or not, we're talking about romance. It's a Monster Romance extravaganza on Radio 831, a romance podcast. So join me, Sanjana Basker, and my co-host Tyler McCull, as we dive into the strange, horny, and wonderfully thoughtful world of falling for something not quite human. I give Tyler a crash course in Monster Romance, and the villain edit author, Rosie Dannan, joins to talk vampires, bloodplay, and finding tenderness and a monstrous love interest. Then, sentient object romance expert, Racy Delgado, takes us even deeper into the genre. Finally, I assign Tyler some homework, to read CN's cost as Morning Glory milking farm. And it's a doozy, but spoiler alert, Tyler emerges ready for more monster tales. Because sometimes non-human romances can tell us the most about our desire, our fantasies, and what we actually want. It is Kentucky Sports Radio 859 280 2287 text machine 772 7745 254, a couple of other notes from the world. A football cutter. Bowley got binched during the game. It airs on stake. I wasn't aware that he started out kind of strong, but I think he's had some struggle since then. A lot of turnovers, I think. You know, um, I mean, it looks like we were we want cutters to succeed, but it looks like we'll made the right choice. I mean, you got to let a guy, you know, what is a famous quote? I think it was Bill Parcell said, if you're going to make me cook the food, I should get to buy the ingredients. And we know, maybe it's Bill Balchick, but one of those two, I think said now, Mitch, he was a guy that they believed in, even though he had never started a game, they still saw something that could work in the way. We'll start one run his offense. Uh, when person writes Matt, what did you think about Steve Young saying that Will Stein would end up in the NFL? Yeah, I don't love it, but I mean, that's that's that I can see it. Yeah, there was a lot of chatter online about Texas. Like hiring him. And like, I don't think he'll I genuinely do not think he would go to another coach. But I could easily see no need to fill. I mean, a guy like, listen, people want to go to the top of their profession. I get it. So I don't know that that would happen immediately. But you know, if we ended up 11 and one in a playoff, it wouldn't shot me if that happened. Other schools are going to come after him. Other NFL teams are going to come after him. I had one of my friends made the argument about Notre Dame. Yeah, but but but well, first of all, Notre Dame is not going to need a coach. Not right now. Um, but why would he? I mean, if he had no connection to Kentucky and Texas offered a job, then yes. He loves it here. Like this is a dream job for him. I know he loves it. And I know he's born from here, but coaches are just by nature, just bounce around, man. They can all like to sit sit tight. He's only been here a few months. I know. He's having so much success. They're going to come. I'm just got a cake company. A wonderful cake company. Got her. Yeah. You trying to run him off. I'm not trying to run him off. There's up next. Let's go to Dan. Dan, go ahead, Dan. Uh, Dan from rocking out. I got a couple of things. Uh, I've been a, uh, a lot of half in since the 60s. I've never been so excited. My friends have never been so excited about this team this year. And look, you're all free game post game show in Oklahoma. It was fantastic. And let me ask you this. Do you think a three loss team can get into playoffs this year? Thank you. I appreciate the call. Good to hear from you. Dan. Yes, they can, but it would be, but you need other stuff to happen. You need that. You need to have like, there need to be losses. You know, there's it's still so far away. We have to wait and see. But yes, it's possible. I worry would a Kentucky three loss team make it. I don't know. But could a three loss team make it? Yes, I think what would be more likely is like a Georgia or an Alabama or a Texas loses three and they put them in. I think if we lose three, I think it's going to be hard. I think we need I think we're going to have to if we're going to get in. I think we're probably going to have to get in with two losses in order to do it. How many SEC teams you think they'll put in the 12 team? Well, I mean, that's another good question. You know, again, it depends on I think only be one team from the ACC unless, unless Wake Forest wins out. It'll be Miami. The big 10 will get in the Ohio State and probably UCLA. So that's four. Then you have the group of five. That's five. The big 12 is six would be BYU. But then you also have Texas tech sitting there. So I mean, I think the SEC will comfortably give five. So you have to sit there and think, OK, well, who are the five? And I think Georgia will be one. But the others kind of grab. I mean, all these teams play each other too. So like they can't all win, you know, on some levels. So we'll see this early and then noted in Texas has to and Notre Dame. I don't know if they'll deserve it, but they'll get it in. But they'll probably get in. So I think it's I think you're looking at five is probably four or five. And the question is, can Kentucky be one of those? That's why the Tennessee game is so important because you beat them and then you might knock them out. You would kind of own the tiebreaker. Right. I think that's the thing about the Tennessee game will be like, we don't really own the quote unquote tiebreaker against Alabama. They beat us. So we need to own it against Tennessee. I would think because I don't think Florida and Missouri. And I don't think they're going to be one of the contenders draft Kings. What's what baseball is this? Are they still playing games? Yeah. Rap it up tonight. Game six is tonight. Yeah. All right. So I don't even know who's right. It's OK. I need to know that before met him. Raise up three, three, two who you got tonight. I'm taking the raid. I don't play tonight. It's going to be a rave. They don't pours world series. Yeah, they do play tonight. All right. So you're going race. Raise, raise, roll tonight. Whatever he does. He knows ball. All right. No, it's balls. Yeah. You mean the bruhs, right? Yes, raise, raise wind tonight. Yeah. I'll take the raise. Why not? Yeah. And then the money night football game is somebody. I don't know who's playing football tonight. I need to learn. I need to learn that by the day. A couple of hours by Matt. All right. Commanders 49ers, 49ers. 49ers when they get. Yeah. All right. Hey, we're going to be back home tonight. Yes. Been a lot of fun. Thank you all who've all supported this trip along the way. Paul Miller Ford. I love. And Gary C Johnson law office as well. We appreciate it. We will be back in Kentucky. I'll be in Louisville. They'll be in Lexington tomorrow.
