#2: Losing MILLIONS and Finding Jesus: Colin Yurcisin's Testimony | Sovereign Radio

What's up guys welcome to episode two of sovereign radio. I'm here with my guest Colin Euricheson Colin is a phenomenal entrepreneur a born again Christian someone who I just recently connected with through our mutual buddy Arlen and There's Colin has an incredible backstory an incredible testimony We just did a podcast a couple days ago and after we finished the podcast Colin was like you know what dude like I Feel called to go deeper into my testimony and really share like the raw aspects of it and That's our primary goal for our podcast today. It's a crazy story Colin has one of the craziest testimony stories I've heard in a while There's also a very strange aspect to this whole meetup where you and I actually DM'd Two years ago almost exactly two years ago. I DM'd you. Yeah, you left me on red. I did You're so famous my apologies, bro So back to that it was like I was at the time You know kind of seeking out Jesus I guess in a way I was interested in it and I saw your videos popping up on my feet and also Arlen had sent me Your page and that was when you were going super viral on the whatever pod and I loved a lot of the things you were saying And then you partnered up with Ryan King. Yeah, and you guys were giving away Bibles Yeah, and so I had reached out. I was like wow like you know I've been meaning to get into the word. I want to start to learn and know who Jesus was at that point in my life And I sent you DM and I was like hey man I would love to take one of those Bibles and luckily I sent the same thing to Ryan Ryan ended up answering He sent the Bible and then when I got it I tagged you and I was like thank you boys because you did like a partnership together You were giving them out. Yeah, and and I think you did like that story and then you posted that in your Little highlight reels. Yes highlight folder. Yeah, yes. Yeah, and so I want to give some context on who Colin is We we met like two days ago for the first time in person. Yeah, and we've been and we didn't know about this Yeah, yeah, exactly everything exactly our our mutual friend Arlen Yeah connected the two of us our mutual friend Arlen saw us interacting on social media and he was like dude I know both of you guys and Arlen was like I got to connect these boys. We should do a podcast So we did it spur of the moment and then after recording the entire podcast We discovered the sequence of events and it was like a mind blown moment where it was like holy crap We were connected two years ago and like I played some small role Ryan played a role and like it got took everything full circle to where we are right now two years into my journey now my walk with Christ And now I'm your first guest on your first podcast, but we're so back Insane let's go God's plan. So I want to give you guys some some background on who Colin is so Colin currently runs a business called leveraged mining Yeah, this incredible Bitcoin mining operation. You help people you've helped your clients save over five million dollars in tax right off 10 million though through Purchasing leasing Bitcoin mining system purchasing. Okay on the entire business. Yeah start their LLC They purchased the mining machines on that business and it can write off a hundred percent of it Yeah, because it's bonus depreciation And then all the other business expenses are also write-offs So you're able to you know take all these write-offs and offset your other income You know if you have a W2 income or you have you know another You know business that you're getting income from you can offset all of that so you're accumulating Bitcoin and you're wiping your tax bill Okay, and so part of the reason I wanted to do this episode with Colin is because after speaking with him personally and hearing his story This guy is like such a maverick and also his his story is like a freaking roller coaster ride From like being a normal guy to making millions to losing millions losing everything being in the darkest place of his life Finding Jesus and then building the right way with Jesus back into a place where he's on sturdy ground But now this time around after making your wealth back and building a righteous business as opposed to being full crypto D gen mode and like riding the roller coaster of shit-coining And I was like I was like Saul bro. I used to persecute the shit-cointers and then I joined them And then I paid for it Yeah, so you're you're on sturdy ground and it's it's one of the craziest testimonies I've ever heard so I want to give some background on who Colin is so from 15 to 23 years old, you know when you were growing up you had some you grew up in a Catholic environment Yeah, you weren't really serious about your faith You were baptized and you were confirmed, but you never really developed a personal relationship with Christ So you're totally lukewarm probably paid at zero attention to it You know I went on holidays like we go for Christmas Easter. It was always the thing I looked forward to least on that day Yeah, and then I'd get home, but like I would tune out everything in the sermon I wouldn't know anything that happened. Yeah happened my whole life. Okay. Okay, and so you Around 15 years old you started just like partying drinking doing drugs throughout high school in college. You're living for the world Focused on getting pussy and hooking up with girls and getting it's all I cared about. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I watched I'm smacked like to pick which college I wanted to go to like biggest party school in the world was University of Arizona Went there immediately as soon as I was accepted just main goal is just part of your hard as possible get as many girls as possible You joined a frat join a frat which one I was an A pie. Okay. Yeah. Okay. So yeah, you were you were living it up Is a Jewish frat too really? Yeah Why have all frat to do it because the two frats that I wanted to join when I got there just got kicked off campus Okay, and the Jewish guys partied hard and I was like whatever. Let's do it. Okay. Okay. That's so funny. How crazy Did they were other Gentiles in the Jewish frat? Okay um And uh, so then you you were assaulted at 19 years old. Yep. So my freshman uh summer coming home from college Went to like a you know a party in my neighborhood. Yeah, and there was college kids there high school kids there was huge Parents weren't home and there was this kid that was just blacked out of his mind some speculate He was on steroids and had like a roared rage and um, he essentially tried to like beat some kids up there at the party And he saw me on the back deck just like with my head turned like this and he chose me as the victim to just come up behind and just Start wailing on my head And it was like a free contact like I don't remember anything. I was really talking to my ex-girlfriend And then I woke up on the floor with like 25 people around me like bro like are you gonna die my whole face was like down the here E essentially broke like 15 to 20 ligaments in my face I had to have major Facial reconstruction surgery. There's a spring behind my eye now Plates holding my whole left side of my face together and I you know could have died like if he would have just hit my temple He punched me like 10 times plus until people ripped them off and beat him up and got him out Wow, so it was just a freak like you know perfect perfect environment for me to play the victim game Yeah, you know, and at the time I was also battling with self-image issues. I had horrible acne when I got to college Um, it ran in my family my dad at acne too So I was I was battling with that already like I was not confident myself I was gonna go on this acne medicine and now because I got the face surgery and my face had the heal I couldn't do that because it affects your bone health and you can't heal Was it acutane? Acutane that's what I wanted to take but my act you know going back in the sophomore year my acne got so bad And I was already so like angry deep down because of what had happened to me um And things just kind of spiraled out of control, you know going back in the college I was a pledge master like just full just like anger taking it out on people Not happy with who I was as a person and continue to do that for a very long time So you were like super depressed for how long? I was really depressed until um, I actually took LSD Because I was just searching for some kind of meaning and I had heard you know a lot of my college friends You know doing psychedelics and they're like bro like you should really try this like I think it'll help And it actually like opened my eyes to like the possibilities of like you know, we can take our own control And we can you know create whatever we want. Yeah That's what I fell on that and actually when I looked in the mirror on LSD I could see past my acne and I could see my future self being like this like Warrior almost and for the first time I ever got confidence from that And then long story short I went on the acutane. I cleared my acne and then by junior year We got the biggest pool party house like moved in my acne was clear and I thought you know, it was like It's go time and and it was I had a great time the rest of the two years of college was Incredible, you know for my priorities back then women and drinking and having fun Um, but once again, you know just complete debauchery Life lived very far from God, you know looking back at it now. Right. Yeah, right and so All right, so you graduate college. Yeah What I what I really want to get into Con is like that entire roller coaster of like entrepreneurship. Yep. You racked up millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin. Yeah You lost nearly from DGEN, SHITCOIN, Gambler. How do you get from college to that place? How did you get from there to there? Yeah, so, graduate college, and I'm working at ADP. Outside sales, I was trying to follow my dad's footsteps. My dad built a great family. We had a nice house, nice living. He was in sales this whole life. I thought that was great. He got to travel everywhere. So I'm going to just do that. And so, you know, very quickly, a couple months in, I was like, this is horrible. I cannot work for anyone else. This is not matching my personality. And I also felt a calling like that I was meant to do more. I can't really explain it, but I just knew that there was more out there for me. And so, essentially, I quit my job, about $50,000 in debt. I had been trying a bunch of different side hustles, e-commerce, a clothing company, ATM business. Real estate, I was knocking doors and a hundred degree heat in Arizona trying to do a wholesale deal. Failed it all of them pretty much. And through that, I had about $50,000 of debt. Credit cards. I had a $20,000 personal loan. I had $20,000 in student loans. And I gave myself like 30 days before I was going to run out of money. I was literally living off my freedom unlimited credit card. And this is all documented, you know, on my Instagram. In 2019, I was like filming the stories of me. Like, guys, I'm learning credit repair. I'm sending in the credit letters. I tried to get this removed, you know, teaching as I learn. And it all clicked one day. And all the work that I'd done on the credit stuff paid off. And I was able to remove all the negative items off my file. And I took my score from like a 600 to a 730. I applied for seven credit cards. And I got approved for all of them, like over a weekend. So now I had like $100,000 of, you know, credit that I could use. I got business credit at 0% so I can actually invest and paid off over a year at 0% interest. And so it gave me a lot of my time back and power back. And I was also able to turn that problem that I just solved for myself into a business. And that was called credit class. It was teaching people how to leverage credit, build income, and travel the world for free. And I quit my job in August of 2019. And by November, I launched that business. And then I made the first month. I made, I think about 15K. I made 6K on launch day. And then I made that month like 15 grand. And then my lease ended in December. And I flew to Bali in January to like start my new life. And it was crazy, you know, going from 50K and debt, you know, kind of hopeless about to give up to just powering through and building something from nothing. And then being able to offer it to the world and helping kids my age, like, get out of debt, get cards so they can go on vacation with their girlfriend. Like, it was just very cool to see something born out of like a major problem that I solved for myself. So, crazy story. I landed in Bali and the first day there, I meet my wife. It was her last day there. And I run into her in Bali. And, you know, we ended up over the next six months. I flew her out to Mexico. And at that point, I was like, this is the one. And so I think God kind of gave me that gift early on. So I wouldn't fall too down the rabbit hole of women and having money with women is just not good. I already had that time in college. And so I'm very grateful to have no enemy coming to my life, like right as I started to see some worldly success. Yeah. Because I was able to focus much more. And so moving into entrepreneurship now, you know, I'm traveling the world all of 2020. COVID happens. My credit business is exploding. Credit class has hundreds of clients now. I charge my prices, you know, from, I think it was 250 bucks when I launched to a thousand bucks for entry. And so I'm making multiple six figures now. And yearly or monthly? No, yearly. Okay. Nearly, yeah. Probably like the first year, 2020, my tax return, I think I paid five hundred, it was 550K in income. I mean, in year one. Okay. And so COVID happens right in March. I'm in Hawaii, staying at, like I'm like travel hacking the whole world, bro. It was so cool. And I'm staying in this big suite, a two bedroom penthouse in the Weston and Maui by myself, and lockdown start, and COVID crash happens. And like Bitcoin drops all the way to like 5K. And at this point, I have, you know, 30, 40, 50K in my savings through all my business accounts. And I'm like, I think I should invest right now. This is like what the billionaires do. They buy the fear. And so I literally without really knowing much about it, I just plowed all my money in the Bitcoin. And I bought five Bitcoin at around $5,000. And that started the whole Bitcoin journey. And I continued to do the credit stuff, but then I got into affiliate marketing. What happened was with all of the credit knowledge I had, there was another business happening around the same time called Amazon Automation. And it was these e-commerce stores that you could basically pay for. And a team would automate it for you, and you could make, you know, three to ten thousand dollars a month. And you would need the credit to buy the products for those stores. So I was in the situation where I had all the credit knowledge. People could verify it. I had a very successful course. And these e-commerce automation owners needed their clients to have the credit to run the stores. So they all reached out to me saying, hey man, like we would love to work with you as an affiliate. If you can refer your credit clients over to our business. And if we could refer our people to you so you can get them the credit, we can pay you out if they buy a store. And so that's when I saw a massive jump in my income. I was getting paid out. At first it was like 20% commission on these stores that were like 35 to 50k. You know, so going from a thousand dollars a product to now getting commission checks of like 7,500 bucks every time. One of these stores was sold to then eventually me seeing that opportunity and structuring my deals better with the affiliate partners to eventually where I had like 50% commission. And so now I went from making 500k a year to in 2021 making multiple six figures a month in profit from the credit class business, coaching and the affiliate marketing stuff. And this entire time I'm plowing all that money in the Bitcoin. Because I caught Bitcoin at the bottom. I've never had it go down yet in my life. It's just like, I'm a genius. Everything I've put in here just keeps going up. Like my returns were mind blowing. I'm telling my dad and like, you know, I'm asking like, where do I put my money? He's like, check out the S&P 500. You know, there's these indexes and I'm like, dude, I'm up 300% in like two months. Yeah. What? And so I'm thinking I'm like a genius this whole time. I'm making money quick. I'm throwing it in the Bitcoin. I'm accumulating more Bitcoin than I knew anyone had. My age or even in my circles. Like it was crazy. And so, you know, towards the end of 2021, my net worth peaked in November of 2021 is when the top was. I think I had about $3.2 million in Bitcoin. And so from going from 50K in debt in, you know, 2019, late 2019 to 2021, having millions of dollars in such a quick time, it definitely did something to me, you know, ego-tistically. Yeah, what do you feel like it did to your soul throughout that time? I mean, it just made me think that it was so possible to just do anything. Like I really thought that I was going to be worth $10 million by 25 years old. Yeah, that was your goal. That was my goal. It was like, that literally was everything to me. I wrote it on whiteboards. I started writing love letters to money every single day. Like, I will make this much. I will do this with the money, you know, very into manifestation visualization. I had all these, you know, these visual, what are those called vision boards? Me and my wife were making. And it was just very like, for what? Like, why did I want that money? I just wanted it selfishly to say to the world that I'm 25 and I made $10 million. And maybe that stems from me going through all that trauma early on and, you know, getting assaulted and not really being able to find my place and having the acting and all that stuff. And then finally I found something that I was good at. Yeah. And so I think that just fueled my ego. And it just made me so in love with the world and everything that I could do with money. And so I hit that $3.3 million. I thought Bitcoin was going to $100K in 2021. Top that's $69. And it just went down only. And so this is when some-- So wait, wait, hold on. So at this time, you own 60 Bitcoin? About, yeah. What was the total value of that? Like 3.3 million. 3.3 million. And so then you eventually got down to-- One million. I never sold the Bitcoin. So this is the first cycle. So Bitcoin now is heading into a bear market. Right. I'm starting to come into realization like, hmm, maybe it's not going to $100K this time. And I essentially made $1.2 million in 2021. And I had zero tax write offs, zero depreciation. I was traveling full time. I didn't have any business expenses. And so 2022 came and I go to this networking event. And I meet this guy, Carlton Dennis. He's a huge tax strategist, big personal brand. And I'm talking to him and I'm like, hey man, I got a massive problem. I just got my tax bill for 2021 and for $469,000. And I'm like, how is it possible that you're paying zero dollars in taxes? But you're making all this money and you're driving all these cars. And he's like, it's because I have tax strategy. And he's like, this is what I do for a living. So I'm like, I want that. So I signed up for that. And through him looking at my structure and everything I've done, he's like, dude, the reason why you have no write offs is because you've literally taken 90% of your income. Bitcoin with it. You can't do that. You have ordinary income. You're taxed on all of that no matter what. So he's like, what you can do though is you can buy the Bitcoin mining machines and you can write them off 100%. And then those machines are just going to earn you your Bitcoin over the next couple years as they run. So you're still going to get the same outcome, but you eliminate the tax problem. And I was like, bro, like let's do that. So starting in 2022, I started mining. I stopped buying Bitcoin altogether and he introduced me to his neighbor at the time, this guy named Jason Les who's the CEO of Riot Blockchain, publicly traded mining company. He went on a Zoom call with him. I had no idea what I was just thrown into. This guy just gracefully just gave me all of his connections in the space. He gave me his mining manufacturers in China. He gave me three different co-locations I can mine at. He gave me a software. He gave me his pool provider. And overnight I had a Bitcoin mining business. And so I started to share that on Instagram. And at the time, I didn't know how to operate it. So I went and I got a partner, a kid who I grew up with, who was a good friend of mine. He was very in the Bitcoin and I always ignored him about it. But he had been mining and he told me about it over Thanksgiving break. He's like, bro, we should partner together. All run the full operation. You just do what your best at with your social media, market and sell it. And I was like, perfect. So we joined together. And in 2022, this is when we started it going into the bear market. We still did great that year. We had like 30 clients sign up immediately and instantly ran into a bunch of problems. The operation part of it completely failed in New Jersey. We thought we had four cents a kilowatt energy and it ended up being ten cents. Then our $80,000 worth of immersion cooling machines that we bought to cool down the miners. They leaked and broke completely. So now we have all these clients that we're fulfilling and our mining operation doesn't work. And so I took charge and I went out and I used all my resources to find us cosites, to mine out. And I basically just kind of turned my back on the whole situation because I had all these other businesses. And I just let Connor just stay in the business and we were 50/50 partners for the next three years as I kind of made all the moves and got us all of our sites and all the connections to make the business actually run. And so that's very important because what just happened recently, I just wanted to let you guys know how that all started. But then for the next three years, I kind of turned my back to Bitcoin and I started getting distracted with just quick money, easy money, affiliating for trading bots, forex, trading bots, just silly stuff. I did ERC, which is employee retention tax credit, another affiliate thing. Just because I was so impatient to wait through the bear market, in mind, you got this time, I have 60 Bitcoin and cold storage. I'm going to be retired if I just waited out. I can literally go to Bali and just chill on the beach and just wait a couple years and I'm set. But I'm so addicted to this quick money and my lifestyle also got so crazy. I was so used to having hundreds of thousands of dollars come in a month. But now because we're in a bear market and the Fed is contracting the money supply, people are getting laid off. There's not a lot of money flowing anymore from the stimulus. So the people that were buying those e-commerce stores stopped. The e-commerce business completely failed, stopped working. We had to start refunding people. So it went from the highest highs to everything just unraveling. And for the first time in two years, I started to get hit with reality. Business is not just up forever. It goes in waves. And I was now entering a down wave. But during this time, you're still like fixated on your goal of I want to have 10 million dollars by this day. I need this in order to feel good about myself in order to feel worthy in order to feel valuable whatever. And you're also addicted to the fast money and all this stuff. So you're like knee deep in being used to fast money, wanting that dollar amount, absolutely dead set on getting it and willing to do basically whatever it took to try and get it, right? Yes. So let's talk about how that led to just destruction. Like it's getting wiped out, bro. Dude, I was so close to just making it to the other end of just like, you know, once the Bitcoin cycle started in 2024, all I had to do was do nothing. Yeah. But I thought that the Bitcoin cycle, the bull market was not going to happen until 2025, because that was the normal four year cycle. Right. But it actually started a year early this time. So I actually would have got everything I wanted quicker. And because I thought it was happening later, I wanted to take more risk in the meantime to have the money to just like 100% hit that 10 mil goal. So let's now fast forward a little bit. It's like mid to late 2023. The Bitcoin mining business is getting, you know, good, good deals, good traction through my partner Carlton. He's a huge referral partner. He's bringing in clients. But remember, it's a 50, 50 business arrangement. It's a 30% profit margin business. For me, that's nothing. Right. So like even though it did 2.3 million in 2024, you know, when you do 30% margin, you split it. It's like, eh, the capsule is not that great. Let me focus on quick money. So I started doing coaching. I got this mentor in Miami that was literally the opposite of what Jesus would want in the world today, right? The guy's got seven supercars. He's dating, you know, these, these Latinas with BBLs, like the whole thing. And all of a sudden, I started like, I started to, to idolize this guy. Like I don't know why because his whole message was like, you can get it now. You can have everything like level up, like buy all the stuff you want. Like if you want it, go get it. Like, and I'm just sitting here with all this Bitcoin that I've never touched, I've never spent. And I'm like, you know what? Like, why would I wait till 2025? Like let's start freaking taking some action, taking some risk. And I completely went against all my values. And so in the end of 2023, I moved into this massive 3500 square foot house on the water. It was $17,000 a month. I bought a Lamborghini Urus Perfomonte. Was paying $6,500 a month for that. I bought a Patek Philippe for 120 grand. I'm selling my Bitcoin at like, I don't know, like 30k. I sell like 8 Bitcoin just because I'm so impatient. And I think that all this stuff is going to help me attract more clients and more attention for my personal brand coaching business. So now the personal brand coaching thing that I start, I start, you know, the whole thing is revolves around just living that lifestyle. Yeah. Like you got to show off to attract more money. Right, right. And I don't know what happened to me, man. I always looked at people who did that and I was like, that's so stupid. I'm building wealth and these guys are flaunting all this stuff that I know they're renting. And then all of a sudden, I'm doing it. And so what was your monthly income at this point in time? So in end of 2023, I'm probably making like 150k a month. Okay, it's in all these business. Your monthly expenditure at the time. Probably 36 to 50. Okay, okay. You know, I'm doing crazy dinners whenever I want, just anything, like not looking at prices. And I realized once I moved into the house, it was very stressful. Like the expenses and I used to pay probably 15k a month for everything. Now I'm paying like triple, almost triple. And so, you know, the stress goes up and I start to like hamster wheel, right? Like I'm not going to touch the rest of my Bitcoin. I already sold eight of it to buy the stuff and I don't want to keep digging into that. So I'm going to work extra hard on this hamster wheel right now to get more clients, to get more income, to get all this stuff. And so, I think that already jaded me and I already went against my values and what I had been doing for four or five years to build this incredible network to have these savings. And it just started to spiral out of control. At the time, I'm anticipating the bull market, right, to be in 2025. And it was crazy because towards the end of 2023, the altcoins started exploding. And at this time, one of my businesses, which, when is this exactly? This is like October, November, December, 2023. Okay. And so this is around the time when you and I connected on Instagram for the first time. In November. Yeah. And so for context, for those that are listening, at this time in my life, you know, 2023 was crazy for me. Like I went from being like someone that literally no one knew I go on the whatever podcast. I do like six or seven episodes. It's cool. It's a dating podcast and I want to project Christian values into the discussion of American dating, which completely lacks Christian values and is totally degenerate in general. And you know, I do six or seven episodes in 2022. And then in the beginning of 2023, a few clips from them just go nuclear viral and all of a sudden, all of my friends are texting me because I'm showing up on their TikToks and their Instagrams and their YouTube shorts and everything like that. People are recognizing me on the street and supermarkets and airports, everything. Like it's crazy. Like dude, I would go through, I would go through TSA at airports and like dudes in their 50s would like pull me aside and they'd be like, "You are, are you the guy from the podcast?" I'd be like, "Yeah." And they'd be like, "Dude, I love your stuff." It's amazing. And so like my, my life was totally changed and I'm like, I'm in this place where, you know, I had gone on that podcast because I just wanted to bring glory to the Lord and I wanted to insert some truth into discussions around dating and stuff. And God took that and just multiplied it a gazillionfold far beyond what I ever could have imagined. And so all these people, hundreds of millions of people are seeing these clips and I'm just like totally overwhelmed by all of it. I mean it's insane. I'm receiving thousands of direct messages per week and I'm just trying to keep spreading the gospel as much as I possibly can throughout this period. So this is this began in the spring of 2023. At some point in time you found me in 2023. Yep. While you're going through all of this, you started following me on Instagram. Why did you start following me on Instagram? I just love what you said man. I loved your values and you just felt so different than the people I surrounded myself with at that time. You know I was looking up to all the wrong things that people that were obsessed with the world, net worth, crypto, quick money, no moral values, no godly values. So I was like I need to like this is crazy. I want to get into this. I want to know more about that and that's why I reached out for the Bible. And once that Bible was sent to me man, that's when it all started. So Colin reaches out to me. At the beginning of November 2023, almost exactly two years ago. Literally. He reaches out to me. He's like yo like bro I'd love to get my head. I was posting about the Bible and a friend of mine on Instagram, Ryan King, shout out Ryan King, total King. Yeah, absolute legend. Ryan King is offering to send people free Bibles and copies of more than a carpenter, which was the book that brought me to Jesus from being an atheist 10 years ago. And so you saw that and you were like whatever that guy has, I want some of that. I want this Bible. I want more than a carpenter. You're like in this place where you're just feeling the need for something more. I'm at my most pride full time. Yeah. But I think deep down I felt what was going wrong. Right. And so there's two conflicting energies. It's like my walk with Jesus started and my pride was just at an all time high. Yeah. And so I asked Jesus. I remember I vividly remember reading Proverbs and I saw that verse when Solomon asked for wisdom. Yeah. Right. And God says I'll give you anything you want. What do you want? He says I want wisdom. And then he had you know everything ranted to him. And I was like that's the most important thing. Like wisdom is better than gold. It's better than anything that I could ask for. So I'm going to ask for wisdom and I prayed for wisdom and everything in my life started going wrong. Everything. Every single thing that I had dreamed of happening in the bull market my YouTube channel that I just started. Right. Like the YouTube for example, I'm envisioning like hitting 10 mil in the next 12 to 18 months without a doubt. I have everything lined up. I have 60 Bitcoin at the time. It was like $2.5 million liquid. Like I'm going to multiply this a 4x and crypto easy like no problem. I'm in this big house. I'm going hard on YouTube. I move a videographer in and my greed bro just started making me take the dumbest decisions. Like I remember I was on a plane. This guy sent me this this crypto coin to buy. This I had not traded yet. I had not gotten a trading and it happened so quick. He sends me this little coin. He's like, yo, pull 5K in here. This one's going to rip. And I'm on a plane. I'm like, all right, whatever. I have Wi-Fi put the 5K in. The next day it's a 50 grand and I cashed out. I was like, oh, this altcoin thing is going to be crazy. And I have this network. You know, I'm hanging out with like Luke and that. He's like the owner of Pudgy Penguins. He's coming over my house. Luke Belmar, big crypto guy surrounding myself with all these guys that, you know, this is their life. They've been in that stuff. I've avoided it and just been Bitcoin only. And I used to literally persecute altcoiners. I had YouTube channel that was talking shit about altcoins in every video. Right. And so now I'm just like, these guys are right. You can just make quick money and then I'll just buy the Bitcoin after. Right. So this is all my head. I also start this crypto mastermind with a partner who his strategy is altcoins as well. It's like Bitcoin, but we use altcoins to make more money to then buy Bitcoin. And so I'm just like all of a sudden switching everything I'd ever believed in because I believe that this is the ticket to get to the 10 mil fast. And so basically what happens is January, ETF is approved. The first Bitcoin ETF, January of 2020, uh, 24, 24, exactly. So a few months in, uh, to living in this house. And so and this is like two months after you've started dabbling in the Bible, pursuing Jesus. I'm reading the Bible daily now, um, going to Voodurch in Miami. And I'm like, Jesus is going to get me everything I want. Like Jesus is going to be that ticket. And like, this is the perfect timing. And I'm like journaling to him. Like, yeah, like Jesus, thank you for, you know, helping me with my trades and all this stuff. Yeah. And so I Are you still writing love letters to money at this time? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm, I'm combining new new age spirituality and Jesus. Like I'm just making my own little world. Yeah. Yeah. Um, so I, I'm very bad idea. Very bad. Very bad. Very bad. Meanwhile, you've changed from first principles business and entrepreneurship to literally just building my own religion now, building your own religion and you're just gambling. Yes. And I, I don't think I'm gambling. Yeah. I'm winning. You think you think you figured out the game. I figured this out. It's a joke. Yeah. I'm like, everything I touch is turning the gold. So this is where all the bad decisions start. Okay. I think, mind you, I think the, the bull market's happening much later. I'm like, this is crazy. Whatever's happening right now, it's going to dump. Like we're going to have a big sell off. Like we're not there yet. So the ETF gets approved. And I'm thinking it's going to be a sell the news event. So I sell all of my Bitcoin when Bitcoin hits, I think it was $48,000 on the ETF approval. It was like January 10th or 11th. Cash everything out. I have 2.5 m's liquid. And Bitcoin starts to tank. And I'm like, oh my gosh, I nailed it. I'm looking at my value in Bitcoin with my dollars that I'm holding. And I have this little app that shows you how much Bitcoin you could buy with what you have. And I'm just watching it go from 50 Bitcoin, 55 Bitcoin, 60 Bitcoin. Because remember, I sold some the buy all that stuff. So now I'm back at my OG amount that I started with. And I'm like, holy shit, I just made 10 Bitcoin on this trade. Yeah. And I'm thinking it's going to keep going lower. Right. And it doesn't. And I just like zone out. Right. I go snowboarding and ask him, I'm not looking at the charts. I'm not looking at the markets. I'm just like so convicted that I'm right. And like we're going to sell off. And I'm going to just buy back in later. I'll buy all coins. And I'm going to make way more money now. Solana at the time is like $80. Ethereum's like at, I don't know, $15. Everything's super low. And I got all this cash. So I'm like, you know, I'm taking my time. Whenever all of a sudden, everything starts to pump again. I'm going to ask my keys are back at the house. So I can't trade because all the money's back at home. And when is this in 20? This is like February like 10th. Okay. Okay. So I'm snowboarding. I'm just my egos through the roof. I got all this money. You've got to figure it out. I got to figure it out. Dude, I'm hitting 10 mil in the next couple months. You're making your own religion. Get a good joke. Yeah. My own religion teaching people the love letters to money. And you know, I miss the big pump. Like Bitcoin now goes to 55, right? And I didn't get back in. So now in my mind, I'm like, well, I'm not going to buy back Bitcoin. I'm like having a panic attack. I'm like, Holy shit. Like I now have to buy back higher than when I sold. And that was what my partner at the time of the crypto mastermind. He told me he advised me, do not do what you're trying to do with this little short trade to make 10 Bitcoin. Bro, you have all the Bitcoin you need. Just be risk off and just stay there and then play a little alt coins. But don't take that money out. I'm thinking like, nah, bro, like I got this. No problem. Yeah. So I instead of buying back the Bitcoin and just getting defeated you know, and losing a little bit of money, I still would have been fine. I could have bought like 50 Bitcoin. I buy all alt coins. I'm like, I'll just buy all the alt coins. They're going to outperform. How much money do you put in alt coins at this point? Like 2.5 million. How much of your net worth was that? Probably like 90%. Bro. So insane. Literally 90%. The ballsiest, riskiest, most degen move possible. Yeah. And so how does that go? So at first, it goes well. So and this is even worse. Like I wish it weren't bad. And then I maybe would have realized and like went back in the Bitcoin. But all the coins I picked came from like, you know, all the people I was surrounding myself with. I got tipped off on like these gaming coins, like all these degen, like memes and stuff. And my portfolio over the next month went from 2.5 to like 3.4. It was up a mill in a very short time. And then we had this massive macro event with I think something with Israel, some war scares, crypto, especially alt coins dropped like 50% overnight. And I had never been through a crypto crash with anything other than Bitcoin. So Bitcoin drops maybe 20. Alt's dropped 50. Now my ports are like 1.67 or something. So you just lost 50%. You just lost a million and a half dollars instantly. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's still in the coins. Okay. But I'm thinking, oh, it's all good. It's just a dip. It's going to come back. No problem. I'm literally just like sold on the ones that I own. And I'm not going to trade in and out of them. I'm an investor, right? So, you know, the next six months are pretty rough. It's summer of 2024. The markets were very stagnant until Trump gets in the office, right? So Trump gets elected. And this starts the whole next wave. This was really the blowoff top for alt coins. At the time, I had gotten even more degen and I got into these like little meme chat groups on Telegram. And so I got in this group and I actually got kicked out of the group because I was such a new group and I was asking all these dumb questions and like spamming the chat. So the owner kicked me out. And I reached out to him, this was God trying to save me. I reached back out to him and I'm like, bro, like put me back in, he's like, dog, like you're not meant for this stuff. I'm like, what do you want? He's like 10K. I sent him 10K to get back in the group chat that they kicked me out of. Once I get back in, I put $1,000 in this token and it goes to 100K in one day. I did 100x. So I'm like, okay, now I'm good. I got back in, let's go, let's rock. This is when meme coins on Salon are just going absolutely nuts. And I just lose, I just go full balls to the wall, bro. I take my money out of Salona, like I have the top coins still. Like I got ETH, I got Salona, I got like BNB, I have like a portfolio that like is in the top 10 in the top 20 coins, which I should have just kept. Even though that's very risky, should have kept it there. But now I'm rotating out into these dog shit ones that are doing like 50x's and I'm just thinking, like I'm just gonna put all my money in there and it's gonna go great, whatever. And so once again, my port goes from like 1.6 to 3.3. And this has happened in 2021, also got capped at 3.3. I don't know what's up with that number. It's 3.3 and then everything happens. Trump then announced his tariffs in January. The tariffs literally destroy and decimate crypto. And I'm thinking that it's gonna play out just like last cycle where in 2021, in January, February and March, we just went up only. It was like incredible. It's like the four year cycle, it just continues. It always is the same and the exact opposite happened. The year I think I'm gonna do a 3x on my 3.3 million, it's gonna hit the 10. All my hopes and dreams are just shattered, bro. In 45 days, my 3.3 million goes to $500,000. Okay. And that is when I finally just realize and just sobered up to the fact that there's no going back now. Like if I would have just held the Bitcoin, I would have like 3 million right now. But that's after the crash. And because I just did all this crazy shit, I blew it. How are you feeling internally at this point? Well, this is when I actually stopped. This is when I took a step away. This is when I cast out the 500k sold everything at a loss and these coins continue to drop after that. So I'm very happy I did do that. This is around February of 2025. This is when I think, you know, I'm literally thinking I'm living an alternate reality right now. I'm like, I had everything I needed and I literally threw it all away for what? Like for what? Now my wife is, you know, we got married in 2022 on paper, but we're having a wedding in May. So she's coming to me like, maybe we got to make these payments for the wedding. Like, we need 20 grand. I just lost like $3 million in 40 days. And I wasn't even being transparent with her. I didn't even tell her what the hell was going on. And so she started to realize like how depressed I was. And then I just broke down. I told her everything, bro. Told her the whole story. I knew deep down the moment I sold my Bitcoin was the moment everything went wrong. And I just for the last year and a half, I had just been going backwards and backwards and backwards. And at this point in time, it was like the meme business that I started a telegram chat. I was selling the meme calls that I was doing for like $10,000 for entry into this group. And the kid that made me pay him to get in the group became my business partner. And like we are all selling membership to that. That just overnight just stopped. Because-- Did everybody get wrecked? Everyone got wrecked. The memes were done. Like literally still to this day, Solana meme coins on chain are over, right? So it was literally decimated. And you know, not only did I get wrecked, everyone in that chat got wrecked, right? So-- Was that-- Did that weigh on you spiritually at that time? So much. So, dude, I just realized all the destruction that had just happened. Like I moved out of that house. I moved into a smaller apartment for like a couple grand a month. I sold my Lambo. I sold all my watches. And I just stopped posting on social media. And it was a darkest time of my life, bro. To think that 2025 was the year for the past couple years that I thought was going to be the best year of my life that I was going to make $10 million and being in the exact opposite place was the scariest thing on Earth, bro. And I just-- And at this time, I'm still reading the Bible. I'm still talking to Jesus. And I finally just come to terms that like, I need to give everything to him. I need to just take whatever I have left and just offer it to him because I-- this is what happens when I try to take control. And I've decimated everything that I ever had worked for. Because I had no solid ground. I had no foundation for the past five years. I was just spinning off just my own greed and my own selfish goals and desires. Yeah, you were chasing pride, ego, quick money. You had completely abandoned first principles business thinking. And I have-- remember, I had this mining company. That is an incredible business model. That because I'm so greedy and we're 50/50 partners and I don't like the profit I'm making, I just-- I'm not even focusing on. You're just-- you're fixated on that-- My personal value. That worth of $10 million before 30. And it's-- I think that's super interesting. That was my God. Yeah, exactly. That was your God. You were worshipping. You were literally worshipping money. Every decision I made in my life was to attain that. Which is so interesting, too, because I think so many people base their own value and self-worth off of all of these worldly metrics. And for you, it was that dollar value. 100%. And the process there is, if I hit this dollar value, then I have true value. Then I'm truly worthy of love, admiration, of truly made it. Whatever it is, it's different for everybody. And so many people-- this is the devil's trick, bro. He finds a thing for women. It's often beauty, right? Like beauty, vanity, whatever. For men, it's how much money am I making? What does my physique look like? How much attention am I getting from chicks? What are the cars and my garage? What's my status? All these different things. And so people find these different things, and they chase them. They chase these vanity metrics. And they end up-- in some cases, in your case, they end up reaping a path of complete and total destruction and the process of trying to attain it. And then you find Jesus, and you discover, actually, no, my self-worth is in the Lord. And he's got a plan for my life. And was your realization that Jesus, like following Jesus, was the only way forward at that point? Well, let me keep going, because it gets darker. So at this time, I really-- What is this time, by the way? This is when I cashed out. I have 500K in cash. And I'm just like, I'm done with the crypto markets. I don't have any active business right now. But when in the year? Oh, this is March. This is like March, April, May. OK. This is the darkest time of my life. OK. Talk about that. Tell me what you were going through. Yeah, so at this time, I don't believe in myself anymore at all. I really thought that I was a loser, bro. For the first time in my life-- well, in the first time in five years, I had no longer have a million dollar net worth. Like, how is that possible? I had more money in 2020 than I had right now. And so I'm just self-destructing internally, because my identity's dying. I'm losing the person I thought I was. I'm going to the gym with my friends. And I'm like, why are these guys still talking to me? I'm not worth millions of dollars anymore. Like, I actually felt so degraded and so unworthy, because I didn't have the net worth anymore. And so-- you had built your entire life and self-identity and everything on QuickSand. Talked about that a lot during our podcast the other night. Everything was built on QuickSand. Jesus talks about this, too. Yeah. He says-- He's filled the house on the rock. You build your house on the rock. When the storm comes, it'll still be standing. You build your house on the sand. When the storm comes, it's going to be destroyed. It's gone. And this was-- this is all Jesus' plan, bro. Like, I would have never met him unless I lost everything, because I was so distracted by the world and everything in it that I couldn't even hear or see him. But for the first time ever, he stripped all distractions away. My whole identity taken from me. And I was left with essentially nothing. You go from millions of dollars, 500K to someone that's had millions liquid, is like nothing. And I know it's hard for some people to hear that. But-- People are going to hear-- I know, I know. But it gets worse. So I'm still trying to stay in the fight. I'm like, I don't want to give up here. So I take a couple hundred grand, and I put it into a Purps exchange, which is like a leverage trading exchange. Which, for those that are listening, is literally-- this is crypto gambling. This is heroin for gambling on it. This is the most degenerate crypto gambling you can possibly do leverage trading, allows you to make a tremendous amount of money or lose a tremendous amount of money instantly. Correct. So I plow in a couple hundred grand in there, and I proceed to blow another 150 to 175K in a weekend. And this is already when I'm down, because you're trying to get back-- Trying to show the market to get back up. You're trying to get back to where you were. Revenge trading. Yeah. And you always hear, do not do this. And so now I have like 330K. And so I finally, I fully give up this time. I take the money. out and I'm like I'm gonna get back to just making active income. Right and I don't take any time to like just chill like maybe a week. I think I sat with my wife on the beach for a very long time and I started to really read the Bible and this I went to Tulum actually and I brought every man's Bible I brought the action Bible which is like the comic book one and I kid you not posted that on my story. I read the comic book one in two days finish front to back and then I started going super hard on the actual word and that is when I was like I don't have any plans left. I'm not hitting 10 mil before 30. I'm lucky if I even get back to a million in the next couple years. I have no active business I have no belief in myself. I think I'm a horrible entrepreneur. I'm gonna just try this Jesus thing full-time with all my effort and that is what I did and for the next two months I read the word more than anything I did throughout the day. I would dedicate my mornings to gospel music reading the word and then doing like Bible study apps. There's like the holy Bible app and you could go through all these practices and it teaches you lessons and stuff. So just fully immersing myself in that but it got to the point where I was like you know I still thought I was gonna have the wedding so I needed to like make some money because I literally hadn't made money for like a month and the mining business not one sale all year. 40% was the bonus depreciation in year one. It used to be a hundred percent when we started the business. So now the write-off is only 40%. So it's not even an attractive business model. I've written that off completely. My coaching business that I was doing. Remember I was doing personal brand coaching. All of the kids that I had coached were now the top dogs in the space. So I gave it another shot. I get back out there and make a couple of posts. Hey I'm gonna teach you how to build your personal brand and almost feel like humiliating bro. Like the kids that I had taught were now doing the best and now I was so far removed from that and so behind. So I was like well it's feeling like absolute shit internally because you've literally lost everything. Yeah you went from having a three million dollar net worth losing 90% of it. You're at 350K. And all the materialism with it is gone now. So I have nothing to show for it. Yeah as well. All of your pride. All my pride is your entire identity. Straight from you. And so I really like completely humbled myself and I hit up a buddy from the gym and he owns this loan shop business and I actually thought that I was gonna quit entrepreneurship and I went in as an intern at his loan shop business in April and I sat on the desk and I learned from these kids on how to sell loans to people for like three days. And God told me man like I think God that was he was so happy that I did that. He was like okay I got him now you know like he's fully humbled himself. Let me now give him a little bit of hope. And so God started to speak to me and he was like you're an entrepreneur like stop this. So I told my buddy like shout out Jake Demilio for giving me the opportunity but I told him my bride I'm not gonna do this and so I went back to what I had originally started with which was credit class and I ended that business model because I got so distracted with the affiliate marketing it was so easy. So I never made that business what I knew I could have made it. Now with AI out I was like I'm gonna combine AI and credit and make this thing incredible. So I locked in for two weeks literally didn't leave my office and I built this incredible product credit class 2.0 where you come in you upload your your credit file and AI literally scans it and teaches you exactly what cards to apply for how to wipe your credit I refill the entire course and I made it like a done with you program with live calls and I launched that in the first 30 days of launch I closed $132,000 in sales and so that gave me my confidence back I was like okay I am an entrepreneur like what are the chances that someone can just sit in a room for two weeks and make a product that makes you a $132,000 and I did every sales call myself I learned scripts higher sales trainer like I was back right so that all happened and I'm feeling great about it summer now I go to Europe with my wife and we go visit her parents and I'm running my business from from from from Spain and I hire a sales guy that next month it goes to 60k opposite direction I wanted to go in and all the sun I don't feel called to the credit I'm like I just built this whole thing I just spent all this money got coaches built a whole system the AI and I just no passion for it all the sudden and so now I'm I'm praying every day I'm like God like what do I do what do you want from me like I don't know what to do right now and it was so crazy because I had this calling to look back at the Bitcoin mining business and at this point it's like June zero sales the whole year you know seven eight months into the year nothing and Carlton my tax partner had been telling me for the whole year that there's going to be the bill passing the big beautiful bill and Donald Trump's gonna bring a hundred percent bonus depreciation back yeah and so I I wanted to take a bet that it was gonna come back and I finally wanted to confront my business partner that had been my childhood friend and let him know how unfair this agreement is now that you're not operating anything and I'm basically doing everything and so we came to terms and I basically said hey look man I'm either gonna buy you out or you're gonna buy me out and he didn't want to buy me out because he knew the business wouldn't work without me and so we essentially came to an agreement on a mount that was comfortable for both of us sign paperwork I wired him six figures from the business account that needed that capsule to operate and pay for our operations I took a massive risk I paid him out and I got one hundred percent ownership of the business the next week the big beautiful bill past and Carlton called me and Carlton's also a man of God and Carlton is the reason for this Bitcoin mining business even existing because he introduced me to all the right people and told me to create it back in 2022 and so Carlton hits me up he goes dude the big the BBB has passed I have a challenge tonight so I'm not gonna be able to make my group call so I want you to lead the entire group call there's gonna probably be a hundred thirty people on there and I want you to pitch mining as you know the big beautiful bill you know best number one solution to getting a hundred percent right off I go in there crush it we have twelve people make deposits we do seven hundred thousand dollars in sales in the next three weeks out of the people from that call since then so I I now I'm like I need to quadruple down on this business I go I completely credit cost is still running and like I'm just not doing any marketing on it anymore I'm still fulfilling the product I'm doing a live calls but I'm like this is it like that was a test God tested me he sees what I have he I have what it takes I'm going all in on mining now and so I go I hire a CFO I take my sales guy over from credit class and bring him full time and mining I train him create new systems I find three new cosites we can mine at I get our electricity bills down I find a new mining partner out in China to buy machines from I take our margins from 30% to 35 40% like I just improve the entire business and I create all these systems like it's go time I then get five other accounting partners signed on like Carlton that I can go on to webinars with and I realize that if I can just get the tax partners the strategist to refer their clients as an option for right off this year in 2025 this is where all the business will come from and I did exactly that and literally bro in the past four and a half five months we've done over five million dollars in revenue insane so inspiring dude it's all God's plan bro and it's originally what he had led me in right like this is my longest standing business this has been the hardest business with the most twists and turns I had a battle for all of it you know I had to buy my partner out who's a good friend of mine and that was one of the hardest things I had to do and it's in total alignment you know with what we've been talking about like sovereignty being your own sovereign individual you know you think of what Jesus would have wanted out of money it's like Bitcoin like why would you want people printing the money supply and degrading everyone's wealth so for me it feels in total alignment with what God wants me to do in business and the best part is I built a business that I don't have to be a hamster on a hamster wheel for out of the five million dollars in sales that came through I didn't make one post on Instagram that attracted a client it was all referral partners so my brand now has been given back to me as an empty canvas to literally teach my my testimony and shine light on Jesus and what he's done for me and I was in a place where we just met two days ago well I was unsure of it because God has given me so much peace in my life over the past four or five months you know Jesus said that you know you will be offered a piece that transcends all human understanding and I never knew what that meant but I but I was finally experiencing it for the first time he had wiped all the things out of my life that didn't serve me through all these twists and turns he had rearranged a business that actually makes sense and helps people and solves a huge problem and he gave me everything back that I had ever wanted and I don't have any of my selfish desires I don't I don't have a Lambo I don't have any nice watches all I care about bro is my wife my family I bought a puppy that I love you know we we go to Tulum we just rented this house in Tulum for a year you know and and I've been spending a lot of time there, and the peace that I've been getting over the past four, or five months has been something that I would never trade $10 million for. I would not exchange this for $10 million. - Why do you have that peace? How has pursuing Jesus given that to you? - Because it's taken my eyes off of what I thought acceptance was, like I was looking at the world in algorithm and the people around me for that acceptance and now I'm looking at the kingdom. And I'm looking at Jesus for the acceptance. And once you realize that it's already done, the work has been done by Jesus. Jesus died on the cross for us 2000 years ago. He rose from the dead and anyone who believes in him is saved and is going to heaven. So once you know that and if there is heaven and you believe that there's a kingdom up there and there's all these things of this world that are so much better, there's no death, there's no sin, right? That all exists. And we have it at our fingertips and you have access to it forever for eternity with him. Then why do we care about a little couple million dollars, oh, Lambo, all this stuff, like none of that gives me fulfillment. And I'm not gonna say here and say you can't have that stuff because I do believe God wants us to build kingdom on earth as well and be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor, but that can't be the God. That can't be the goal. I can't be what you pursue every single day. And I wanna bring up a verse that really has changed my life. And it says Romans 12 to do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. And I believe the only way you can get there is if you do what he says in Matthew 6.33, but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. And so what is he saying there? Do the exact opposite of the world and I will give you everything. We are told that money is everything, right? And when you go on social media and you scroll for five minutes, what do you see? You see guys with hot chicks and cars, you see Lambo's, you see mansions, and instantly, you see a 22 year old with five supercars. That is what we're sold is the goal and that's where happiness is. And what you will find pursuing that journey is you either get it all and you're gonna have a very hard awakening to reality that holy crap, like I got it all, nothing changed. I don't have that peace. I still wake up with anxiety. - So I have to do this. - I still wake up with problems. There's nothing that came out of me attaining all this worldly possession. And I think God did me a massive favor. He saved my life by not giving me what I wanted. I think if I would have got what I wanted, it would have been too late, you know? Like I would, the image I was portraying online, the YouTube I was building was all off boasting in myself, my profanity, the lifestyle, the partying, all that stuff. Like I was doing that last year, man. Like that's why my YouTube didn't work because it wasn't the right messaging. God wanted to use me. He wanted me to go through all this stuff so I could bring light to the world that is not the answer. - And this is one of the things that I appreciate so much about the direction you're taking your social media, dude. Like I started falling calling a few weeks ago. One of his reels came up on my Instagram and you were talking about how God uses storms in our lives to rearrange everything and draw us closer to Him. And it was a righteous message and it was truth. And I was like, yo, this is a real one. And he knows God and he's pursuing God. And you're, dude, you've just been obsessed with Jesus. Obsessed with Jesus, obsessed with the scripture. And constantly pointing at the cross. Constantly pointing at the cross. And in a world where so much is dominated by money and fame and vanity metrics and all of these different things, when I saw you constantly pointing at the cross despite having this wealth and all of these things, I was like, I was so stoked, dude. And for my audience, this is one of the reasons why I wanted to bring you onto the pod and have a deeper conversation with you and give you the chance to share your testimony. 'Cause you have a network around you. You and I've talked a lot about this in the past couple of days. You have a network around you, Colin, of people that are so focused on pursuing those things of the world. And I'm not gonna sit here and judge them, but what I know about so many of those people that are in that sphere is that pro-the volatility of the markets and the world around us, if money and material success are your metrics, you can get wrecked so easily and be left with absolutely nothing. Spiritually, physically, all these things. And you know guys that are in a super dark place right now because that's happened to them recently. And for my audience and those that know me that are listening, like, I'm so stoked to see you on this journey because you are like the lighthouse in your community. You have the opportunity to be the lighthouse and to point people towards the creator of the universe and literally the only thing that matters. - That is the only thing that matters and that's why I'm sitting here on camera right now when I didn't wanna do this. - You didn't wanna do it. - I told you guys, and I was very careful about doing that last podcast we did with Arlen. I didn't wanna speak up, man, because I was so much enjoying my presence with God and just being in that relationship with him alone, dude, in my quiet space, my prayer room. I've been off social media and the only thing I'm doing on social media is posting about Jesus. That's that video you saw. Going from that, compared to six months ago, dude, or a year ago, when my whole life was social media, telling people that they need to buy this and do that and get to all these material places, like, oh man, it was just such a weight lift off my shoulders and I didn't wanna come back. But after you're talk with me and after I privately told you my testimony at dinner, bro, it was so clear that God is ready. I mean, it's been literally less than a year since the exact opposite place I was in with all the materialism, doing all the wrong things, the meme, all that stuff. That was like November of last year. I wanted to just be done, man, but God has a different plan. - He does, dude, and you've found the treasure of the Kingdom of Heaven. You've found a new identity in Christ. You've discovered the true inner spiritual treasures that Jesus offers a person that-- - The wisdom, trans, and that means the trans. - That means the trans. - That means understanding the wisdom. - Ask and it will be given to you, and you'll seek and you shall find knock, and the door will be open unto you. I asked for wisdom two years ago, and he gave me it. - He did, bro. - But I have to go through it. - And he had to strip everything from you. - Everything. - Everything from you. And this is what God does. We talked about this on the podcast. This is what God does when God wants a person and he wants to draw them to his son, you know, from a biblical perspective, Satan is the God of this world. And he puts all of these trinkets in all of these temptations that he tries to lure us in with. And it's constant distraction away from the truth, the logos, Jesus Christ, the one who made us, and the sacrifice that he made on the cross. And so we, all of us, when we haven't discovered Christ, like we get distracted by all of these different things and we get lost on all these different rabbit holes of the world, and when God wants a person, he often will take everything from them. And I've noticed this especially with men, bro, like dudes that are hard chargers that have a strong will, that have the ability to create worldly success for themselves. The men that are the hardest chargers with the biggest pride are the hardest targets to take down. You know what I mean? Like it's like they're the ones who have to have absolutely everything stripped from them to the point where they have literally nothing left. And then when they're in that place, you're finally so humble that you're actually like, oh my gosh, I can't do this myself. Yeah, I need God. That was my story. That was what God took literally everything from me. Because the will was so strong. You were so out on the other end, you thought you had everything that God wanted for you, but it was the exact opposite. Bro, I was the God of my own life. Yes. My pride couldn't have been higher. Your number one prayer should be God, align your will for my life with my will for my life. Can we have the same will? Yes. That's it. Yes, God helped me want what you want. Because now, bro, that I'm in tune and my conscious is connected directly with Jesus Christ. Bro, I was just told by him to do the podcast. Like I'm hearing him. I'm seeing him more than ever because we are in alignment right now. So I can pray in my prayer room and I can hear him way more clearly than being completely in my own will. When you're in your own will, you have to reverse everything you've ever learned and everything you've ever done for yourself to get to that humble position where you can become a servant. So tell me about how reading the Bible over the past couple of years, Colin, helped you understand the actual will of God. The Bible is the truth. So when you are creating your own religion and you're your own God, you have your own basis for truth that you've created yourself. And then when you read the Bible and if Jesus is the way, the life, and the truth and the only way to the Father is through Him, then you have to take that as everything. Everything he says is 100% truth. So then you read the Bible and you're like, "Wait a second, that can't be right. I don't agree with that. Who cares?" - Doesn't matter. - You're not a God. - God said it. - You're not God. - Yeah. - This is God speaking. He was the Word. He was with God at the beginning. And then he manifested, came human, and became flesh, took on all the sins of the world. He taught us everything that we need to live for. And now we have it in a fricking manual that we can actually live out. And so you have to completely reverse everything and use that as your truth. And that takes a lot of discipline, bro. - Yeah. - Because a lot of our lives are not aligned to that at all. - Yeah. - And the world teaches you all the opposite of the Bible. - It's one of the craziest things about pursuing Christianity. And people will be like, people will make the claim, oh, Christianity is just a man-made religion. - Yeah. - Right? Like it's just, it's man made this out, they made it for control, all that kind of stuff. But when you actually look at the scriptures and the Bible, what you see is it's constantly telling you to do the exact opposite of everything that you want to do, that your flesh is calling you to. And that's where the real paradigm shift starts. We talked about this a lot on the podcast the other night. God takes everything you think you know in the world. He takes all of the world's wisdom and flips it on its head. And basically tells you to do the opposite. - Those who want life, you'll have to lose it. - Yes. - And those who have life, or those who, what was it? - Those who try to save their lives will lose it. Those who are willing to lose their lives will save it. - Exactly. - The first. - You have to die to your flesh. - Yes. - And you have to be reborn to Christ. - Yes. - And so when I decided to go all in on this journey, I was baptized. And when I learned about the significance of baptism and what that is, it's exactly that. You are dying to your old self. You are throwing away that life and you are raised again. - You are born again. - You are born again with Jesus Christ. And that is when all the stripping away of everything you built before, it needs to go. Or else you're carrying around a dead body with you everywhere you go. You have to cut that dead body out. - When was your baptism? April, 2024. - That's interesting thinking about that relative to the timeline of destruction. - Oh, you know how Jesus was baptized and he was tempted for 40 days and nights by the devil immediately after. It was the same for me. I felt fully into the temptation, but God wanted me to, right? God wants you to get destroyed by your own temptation so that you'll stop. He leads you, like, you know, God is clear. When God speaks to you, it's clarity. It's confirmation. When the devil speaks to you, it's confusion. You can't see clearly through it and that's the whole world I created for myself was that. And so God let me be destroyed by that so that I would humbly give up and come to Him and say, just take it, take my life, rebuild me. - Yeah, and it's interesting too 'cause for a lot of people in the year after they find Jesus. So you started pursuing Christ in the fall of 2023 and this is the case for a lot of people. They start pursuing Christ and then they experience the hardest year of their life. - Correct. - And that's oftentimes, I think my personal opinion that's two things. It's the devil coming in and being like, yo, you're about to find the savior, you're about to find salvation, doing everything he possibly can to rip you away from that. But it's also God coming in and using the whole situation to strip away everything standing between you and his son. And so for other people that are listening out there, this is, I have a feeling that there are people in your audience that are going to be impacted by your testimony here that are probably going to relate to a lot of it. - Yep. - If you start pursuing Christ, persevere, stick through. - Yes. - Do not quit, endure in a manly way. You have to endure as you continue pursuing the cross. Because the devil can throw everything at you. God can strip everything away from you. And it can feel like the worst thing in the world. But God, this is exactly what we were talking about. - He's processing you, man. - Yeah. - It's all for you. - Yes. - It's all his beautiful design. Everything needs to happen the way it happens because that's where you build the character, the perseverance. - Yes. - All of your faith is built in that moment. And then when he does redeem you, you're just like, I could have never, I could have never dreamt this up in my wildest dreams. - Yeah. - Yeah. - It's only through him. And all the glory goes to him. And that is the most important thing. When I do things now, all I wanna do is glorify God. When I eat food now, we're praying before I eat. When I'm getting a big deal in business, like I'm so humble about my success in business. I don't wanna share it. I just want it between me and God. I really just want to enjoy those fruits with my family, with my loved ones. I don't care about any of the materialism that I had before, but there's zero urge to ever go back to that stuff. I will, for the first time in my life, I actually believe that I can build wealth because I know exactly what to do now. - Yeah, and the Bible tells us that God, God, the blessing of God will bring wealth and prosperity and all of these things without suffering along with it. And the purpose of following Jesus is not to get wealth and prosperity and all of these things. The purpose of following Jesus is to know God's Son. But that is one of the things that God can bring into a man's life with no suffering attached to it. That's when you know it's the mark of God. There's no suffering attached to it. When do you, sorry, what do you, what kind of impact, Colin, do you feel called to make moving forward? - Just a little bit of, I wanna be a force for Jesus, bro. I wanna be a force for him. I'm on fire for him every single day, man. I wake up and I just, I love to pray. I love to pray for people. I pray for my friends, my family, and I see God answer my prayers so immediate right now. And I know that there's so many people hurt in this world. And especially I've led people to the hurt, right? Like I was, who people looked up to. And I went from, hey, story of wealth and Bitcoin to buy all this stuff and trade and be irresponsible. And I never cleared that up until today. So I just wanna let everyone that I've hurt know that I'm dearly sorry and that I have a lot of work to do to bring people to righteousness and to be a good leader and a good servant for Jesus on earth. And that's my mission, that's my mission right now. And all my content will be related to my testimony and to pursuing Christ.
