#199 - Are You Garbage?

The podcast episode features a candid, humorous, and heartfelt reflection on the personal and professional lives of the hosts, particularly focusing on Foley’s late arrival and his journey through health struggles. After years of comedic, chaotic camaraderie, Foley undergoes a transformation marked by significant physical challenges—including back pain, a toothache, and extreme weight loss—prompted by his GLP-1 medication use. The hosts acknowledge the intense side effects and the emotional toll of these changes, yet they celebrate the positive outcomes and personal growth. The narrative evolves from a joke-driven open-mic friendship to a more grounded phase of life as a father and team leader. Foley’s delayed arrival is reframed not as a failure, but as a sign of his real-life struggles and resilience. The conversation is rich with humor, including a deep dive into Wawa vs. Sheetz loyalty, suburban parenting challenges, and the absurdity of late-night food runs. Despite the chaos, the hosts emphasize mutual respect, emotional maturity, and the importance of stability. The episode concludes with a celebration of authenticity, showing how personal growth, even in the face of adversity, can lead to meaningful connection and self-improvement. Their evolving dynamic—from misfit friends to committed family figures—reflects a deeper truth: real growth comes not from perfection, but from facing discomfort and continuing forward with humor and heart.

Opa! Welcome everybody to Stobby's World. 904-800-STOP. Call the Stobby hotline sponsored by Visible. We'll solve all your problems. And today on the couch, very happy to have, for the time being, half of my, one of my favorite podcasts. Because, because one of our fat idiot friends couldn't be less than 40 minutes late to a podcast recording. At noon, by the way. At noon, yeah. At noon. Dude, I'm not even, I hate this shit on a guy who's not here. No, no, no, don't worry. We will do plenty of it when he gets here, Kevin. I think you know. On Thursday, the last time I saw him, I go, hey man, you gotta lock in. And he goes, I swear to God, he goes, I'm more locked in than I've ever been. And I went, we're in big, big trouble, guy. We are in big, big trouble if you think this is funny. It is funny though, because I just saw him. Look, guys, sorry, you know how this works. We record a little differently. The Tires premiere just happened. And I thought, I was like, wow, Foley looks better. That's a guy who's locked in right there. He looked locked in. He actually did. He looked, somehow he lost like 100 pounds instantly. Like I saw him when we were shooting Tires. He was, honestly, I was like, well, it looks like I'm not going to be the first one of our friends that dies. You know? And then I saw him at the premiere. I was like, holy fuck. Yeah, he really, listen. He was looking great. His energy was good. He's doing it. He's doing well. He's making the steps. And then immediately. And then immediately drops the ball, dude. He can't get right. And the thing is like, look, ultimately, I don't really give a fuck. But I see how much it's eating at you. This is your life. Dude, we're just missing like 2 p.m. deadlines. This is crazy. I'm like, dude, I have to tell him, I'm like, listen, we're not like, we're not working at fucking Walgreens. Of course. Of course. We can break the rules. We want. But at some point, you got to. You have to have some base professionalism. I'm like, this isn't even our episode. Like, there's a, Stavi's got a team of people. You know what I mean? Like, there's people who are at work right now. Yeah, yeah, that is true. Including, we should say, our boy is here getting ready to take Eldis' job. Eldis training his replacement. Or he's maybe taking my job by now. Depending on the order these have come in. That is true. Depending on when. By the time this comes out. Eldis, we'll have put him, we'll have put him on paternity leave. Yes. And when he comes, when he tries to key back into the building, the fucking door won't, the door won't unlock. You're going to dilute all these shares? Hey, you kicked me out of the Instagram account. What's going on? Don't worry about it, Eldis. I just wanted you to focus on your new child. That's sick, dude. Yeah, screw him over for sure. That's sick. I don't know if you've ever tracked podcasts, but the OG producers, gotta go. That is true. I don't know if that is true. I'm not talking about anybody specifically. Just look at, I mean. I would, there is, there is an awe. So everybody's OG producer is, leaves at some point. On their own will. We would really, yeah, I can't wait till Eldis tries to start his own AI podcasting company. Red band rip off YouTube coming soon. I'm like, Stavros called out the anti-woe comedians in the industry. You started. You start a reaction channel. I need more Eldis. What's that gossip about you? Eldworld. H. Foley didn't show up to the podcast. That's what he's doing. I respect it. I'll feed you inside dirt. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me wet my beak on the back end, guy. I got all these guys dead to rights. Eldis wants to be, Eldis wants to join the comedy TMZ fray. Downstream, baby. Downstream. I'm going. I'm going downstream with my water tub and just catching what I can. Eldis goes to like very low level comedy festivals and just acts like a fucking celebrity. He's at an open mic. He acts like he's a scout for Stavi's World. He's like, yeah, you got it, kid. How? We're so close. That's probably already happening. Can you say come 47 times in an hour? Dude, I just realized there's probably producers going to like shitty shows, like producers of like mid-tier comedy podcasts and trying to fuck like open girl open micers right now. I am so involved. That's disgusting. I'm so involved. It's not even movies. We don't even make anything that matters. We're waiting on our fat, retarded friend to show up late, an hour late to a movie. To us hanging out. Yeah. Our job is hanging out. And that was too, I cannot wait till Foley gets here. And we should say also, you guys have a, maybe the last special you collaborate on. We have a YouTube special, I believe, out now or maybe not in some way. No. Yeah, right. On our YouTube page. I believe we're going with American Garbage. So check that out. Okay. Love that. It's all, if you've ever been to a live show or seen any live stuff, it's me and him on stage at the same time. We play AYG with the crowd. They send their garbage questions in like, is he garbage of you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Love your uncle when you were whatever. Uh-oh. Look who the fuck it is. Look at him go. Wow. Come on. Sit in. Sit in, you piece of shit. Holy shit. I didn't know. I didn't know. I didn't know Henry was going to be here. Surprise guest. Yeah, we should have played it that way. I do have good news. Okay. I might have pink eye. Get a little too buck wild at the fucking tires premiere, Foley. That's not pink eye. Put the sunglasses. This guy comes in with the only lie I can prove right away. Look at my eye. It's completely fine. That is the classic. My right eye? No, it's not. What were you eating ass, Foley? Dude, that's like the inside. Were you eating ass cheeks, Foley? Yeah, I did a little bit of that. I apologize. What's going on, man? Chilling, buddy. All is well. How are you feeling? No, no, no. Nice try. Living the dream. Why was the noon deadline too much for you? What was going on in your life? I literally woke up at like 11.45. Okay, respect. In a panic. Okay, what were you up to? Which you should. Yeah. So I mean like in an absolute panic. Okay, well I'm glad you were panicking. I went to bed at like 11 o'clock. I just slept right through the fucking night. That's good. You know what? That's good. I feel like you need some sleep, Foley. Thanks, pal. Yeah. How are you? How are you doing otherwise, man? Fantastic. I saw you three days ago. I know, I know. It was beautiful. We don't live in the podcast world. I just had lunch with you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was a very, I texted him, sent a text to him personally. Of course. Just me? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, 10 o'clock. Hey, I'm getting to the office early. Maybe we can powwow before. I'm like, if you want to link up, we can head to Stavi's together. Sure. Right through. Remember that. I then text our group with like all the AYG guys. Right, right, right. And I'm like, hey, this is what I'm thinking for this. We've got the special coming. Of course. This is like all hands on. You've released the special. Of course. It's all hands on deck. I mean, we're in the middle of it. You're in it. We're away. In fact, Uncle Stav on Netflix right now. Yeah. Check it out. Hopefully by now it's been number one for three weeks in a row. Is that true? Has it? No. It hasn't even come up. I think I'm getting to your brain. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You have pink brain, conjunctivitis on your brain stem. No, it hasn't come out. Through the magic of podcasting fully, it has not come out yet. You're hoping by the time this comes out, it'll be number one. It'll be a phenomenon. That's exactly right. So even though you're late, you're sharp. You came out swinging. So yeah, and American Garbage is already- American Garbage is out. It's number one on YouTube. That's what they said. Yeah, yeah. It's taken over videos of that Brazilian guy grilling. He's doing meats. You guys ever fuck with him? I don't know who that is. Who you talking about? I believe his name is Duda or some shit. Do you know him, Aldous? We got different algos, guy. Yeah, my algos are- Salt Bae guy? No, Salt Bae guy. First of all- Did I ever tell you I went to one of his restaurants by accident? Awesome. That was the worst. Yeah, of course. Dude, this guy, it wasn't even him. I had like a bootleg Salt Bae. So they have guys that look like him? Just- Pretending to be Salt Bae? Yeah, it was like a Tuesday night downtown. It wasn't even the main restaurant. That's brutal. My wife made the reservation just 'cause we were in that area and this guy was like sensually feeding her meat. No. What? I was like, "I'm gonna fuck this dude up." That became a huge problem. "I'm gonna fuck this dude up." And then he came over to me and was like, "I'm like, dude, I'm even more mad." Trying to feed you? Getting cucked at dinner? Also, dude, we're in an empty restaurant that holds 550, it's like an airplane hanger where they're the only two in there. That's so fucking funny. I hated it. I hated it. That's so beautiful. Two of us to eat. It was so bad. And there's probably dog shit. Yeah. I hated it. I do remember, what I remember about Salt Bae is Ian doing this like two years after it was a reference. I just remember a video. That's all. I haven't seen Ian probably in a year and all I remember are times he's embarrassing on the internet. That's my relationship. And you know what? He brings me joy when I remember those moments. Of course. It's like, "Oh, that's fucking hilarious when he was doing that." Well, he's actually doing very well and he's a good guy, so how about that? He doesn't like- Wait, what is this? Yeah. Hold on, man. You cannot be late and also fucking be a wet blanket on the podcast. Oh, look. Guys who wake up are always hilarious. Yeah. That's my friend Ian Fridays. Okay? He doesn't like when you make fun of Ian. And I just saw him five days ago- Okay. All right. When he welcomed me into his home. They're living together. Really? Theoretically. Theoretically. I stayed there one night. Holy shit. Now that is awesome. We've got bigger issues. That is amazing. That is a beautiful thing. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Beautiful roommate. You and Ian in your 40s as roommates is so fucking awesome. You know what's even cooler? Forget the cats. He's 50. You know what would be cool? cooler holy fuck you that's a reality show i would actually pay that i would love you got to put coming soon on are you garbage patreon that's right gopros on every corner of the house i don't think so well there's that yes end sure i'm sorry um yeah yeah i'm in ian's basement oh the old pot in the podcast studio right next to it yeah you're sleeping they record on tuesdays okay so you gotta be out of that you gotta be out yeah yeah when you see the door the the sock on the podcast studio door handle you know they're recording it's a steel door with a slide on it in my door awesome yeah there's no windows no air conditioning and a funk that i really can't quite put my finger on the mix of podcasting and ian's lifestyle i think is that yeah it's something i don't know what it is but i do have a half a bath down here which is that's beautiful yeah that's big there's no no going upstairs to piss he's not going upstairs to piss he's not going upstairs to piss he loves me up there he sleeps with the door open it's fantastic it's a real home stop it is it is i mean he's lived there for like what 15 years he's been there he lived there and then moved back to philly then moved back to that apartment had the apartment because he had his boys in there right right right yeah smart that is his ian's best move is like being a very very low level slumlord is like he's holding on to that apartment and like renting it out and just taking a little bit off the top you know just just a little bit and that allows him to put up his friend hank in a time of in a time of need yeah good man not charging me at all wow until three months after i move out and then you get the juices running then you get an itemized bill every snack you ate i didn't know you were flushing the toilet 45 times a day uh i'd like to say ian does not sound like that and rethink doing that voice uh next time kevin sounds like that you haven't talked to him a lot's changed hey he's a good friend of mine all right foley we get it you don't want to pay rent at ian's house i feel like me and me and foley are going to jail together and i'm chained to him he's just fucking mugging me i can't pay rent you can't no why is that no i could but he's being nice okay yeah i thought there was like a legal thing you can't for some reason he legally doesn't have any money i think it's the legal little mix-up down at the bank they say i'm broke i'm pretty sure i had something yeah you got a little something in there yeah how you doing brother you're looking i i we were talking before thank you i remember i remember before he's just nice to be spoken of i remember during tires we were both in pretty rough shape my back was fucked i felt yes filming tires filming tires we were filming it that was about rock bottom i would say yes it seemed like you were about to fucking lose your mind every moment of the day yeah and i was very happy to see you look like shit too what are you doing now granted you were still extremely wealthy and doing very well at the time wait have you do you really have you really lost your money you motherfuckers make like so i'm doing all right yeah i know you're doing fine he's killing it i see you in the suburbs with a fucking child this fucking guy's 50 in ian's basement he is the one you're leaving off of is crazy dude and i can't bring myself to stay there stability that's crazy which i think it actually works out we're a good family over there i i do think you guys are very close to each other we're very compatible in a very funny way we kind of are he's the roommate or the friend i've always been looking for because he's like me i feel like i've been pretty good with yeah yeah keeping you alive for the past four years yeah but you don't build a pretty good guy you don't build forts and make rice krispy treats and stuff like that that is true whimsy you're right you're missing whimsy you're right i could i could describe you as whims no i'm a very fucking meat potato even as a young man i didn't you were never whimsical no no we were it was kind of funny when we built our studio we were sitting in you know we had an and we were like somebody's making fun of me they're like hey you know you don't have any imagination i'm like you're sitting in my fucking imagination your imagination that's just a room that we all grew up in it's a room with three microphones and a table it's a family room i'm like yeah fuck that's fucking hilarious but anyway my point is what happened man i'd love to hear how you turned it all around it is the is the are the glp ones finally working for you they are glp ones are finally working and i'm working with them you know what i mean you stopped fighting them yeah i did well you wanted to oh yeah did you fight it for a while i'm still you look great too every day i'm fighting dude i have i have the joke in the special but uh it's but just sorry to do my act but this is kill the chain show by the way that was fantastic that was all that was very fun but i have a joke where it's like it's working but every game goes seven every series goes seven sure every game goes to overtime like i push i push these drugs to the limit i've lost maybe a pound and a half a month on the world's most popular drugs and i've lost a pound and a half a month on the world's most powerful medicine you know what i mean like well you don't want to lose it too fast though right right god forbid yeah me and you of our top two health problems i would say losing weight too fast now you want to be you have to worry about believe it or not actually i also have a glp one joke in my set as well yeah interesting feel free to do a bastardized version of it now if you like i just did you know better oh that was kind of just the setup i watched avi said that was just an opening riff i watched avi said on saturday's saturday and everyone was dying i sat there in silence like fuck there's another fat guy out here doing fat guy material what he does the same exact jokes that i do but a million times better then brings it all back together and kills with something smart like fuck i'm sorry to make you feel that way hank you have a natural charm look you got all your hair you know what i mean look at that would you really trade it let's let's be honest well here's the thing about that yeah you uh i think you're way more interesting on camera so it's actually better okay all right you know what i mean yeah dennis franz thing i look like a fucking moron i see what you mean you're sort of in no man's land you're the most handsome obese former addict yeah and that's kind of you're not getting any leading man roles for that can't be a leading man might be too good looking or too young looking to play like let's pause it on young for a second my dick's what are you talking about i gave you good i gave you good looking i don't let's pause it on young do i look 50 also too good looking yeah yeah yeah yeah what the fuck might say that yeah he says something just me i have to call that out i can't that's my my i'm too good looking to play the buddy no no you're not that's not what's been holding you back you're not losing weight you're not in danger of losing weight too fast and you're not too good looking to play the buddy but fair enough but you are wonderful in this season of tires you are sort of my nemesis right yeah we were boys i love it uh that was the most that you and i worked together on anything it was really fun and i remember leaving there every day when we did the strip club scene oh i remember and i think i told kevin about this but you have like a confidence on set to operate in your own way that i don't have that's great for me well you should yeah i mean first of all it's our friend show of course you know it's like what i mean choices choice right right in in the scene you know what i mean right right that you the way you operate is uh good for me to see yeah you know i love that let your nuts hang you're a great actor foley thank you buddy i appreciate it and we do the we have some incredible stuff i mean we we do hit it you know it's out on that tires has been out now for about a month surely you've seen it but we have a wonderful strip club scene we do a lot we work with bobby lee a lot he was fucking hilarious we work with mr bobby lee bobby lee also killed at that show he did he did wild bobby the funniest thing i saw i love bobby he came out he came out shane's you know south carolina shane gillis show there was what twelve thousand fourteen like something crazy right the arena and actually maybe it was a little it was a small arena um hilarious to that that's when i used to do those that's even in like yeah like shane's like oh just a small arena you know i mean yeah hilarious like yeah not we will never touch that but comedy zone's pretty cool too though on a tuesday night you sell that out that check's pretty good yeah yeah they throw in a pizza you sell it out uh bobby comes out the first thing he starts going he starts singing we are charlie kirk is that what he was singing to that lady yeah yeah yeah we carry the flame he gets the biggest pop of the night because it's bobby lee yeah and then immediately starts singing the charlie kirk song and everyone is kind of mad at him and then he immediately wins them back like two seconds later he's so he's such an incredible he really is he can like even when i'm talking to like it's like hard to track it in conversation totally as a as a performer he's fucking yeah he's the man he's so magnetic and he literally went from zero to a thousand in two seconds as soon as he got on that stage yeah took it over yeah yeah no he's the fucking man but it's good stuff i love horrible actor but not good looking enough to play the best friend no not even close no he kills it and so does the guy that plays his dad yeah yeah he was great he was great i love a stern japanese guy i believe he was korean okay fair enough yeah yeah which i'd make a lot of money for that is a joke that is a joke in the show about us being racist and you did it for real i was like these guys are japanese businessmen and somebody yelled out they're korean i was like what bobby you're korean well and now cuisine wise would you take korea over japan what do you think yeah this is his real house let's talk it's tough man um i never fucked with korean food until i met my wife she was from she's from Hawaii and all that little melting pot stuff. Sure. And, I never thought, like, when I smelled kimchi for the first time, when her mom came to visit, and she opened that. I mean. Did they make chicken fingers? Yeah. It was like, what the fuck? Yeah. And then all this stuff for Korean barbecue, I don't know what it, I can't identify all those little side dishes. I like that. Korean barbecue is good. Now, Japan just has sushi going for it, has ramen going for it, and they have a version, which I'm sure is just a colonizer stealing a good thing from the country they colonized. They have their own little barbecue called yakiniku, I believe. Yakiniku, yeah. Yakiniku, something like that. So, unfortunately, I hate to say it to my Korean, you know. Brethren. Brethren, who I do consider myself an honorary Koreans for some reason, only because I've eaten so many short ribs, you know. But I do think, unfortunately, now look, Korea, come at me. If I'm wrong, if you have some kind of. You're talking about North Korea, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. The People's Republic. If I'm wrong and you have some kind of, something that goes toe-to-toe with ramen and sushi, I'm all ears. Because your barbecue is better than yakiniku, but. Wow, I forgot about ramen. That's tough. Ramen's tough. Japan has a nice, they got a lot of good stuff going for them. I heard a pretty good take on ramen, that like the ramen you kind of are first introduced to always stays your favorite ramen. Thoughts on that? Absolutely untrue, because the first ramen I was introduced to was 25 cent. Not that. No, not that. Oh my God, Jesus Christ. Thick head. That was the. Oodles of noodles. No, I mean, the first ramen I had was. Like first real ramen. That you're like, it's in your neighborhood that you get a lot. Becomes like the primark. Which was, when was that? This was, I mean, the first ramen I ever had was in DC. Actually, Brandon Wardell. Shout out to, shout out to Brandon. Shout out. Who also, it was in, he grew up in Hawaii for a lot of the time. And then, and he's, he's half Filipino. So he, you know, he's, he's more, he's, he, he was more in touch with Asian. And I remember when he was like, let's go get ramen. I was like, what the fuck are you talking about? Because all I knew it as was the fucking Marushan or whatever the fuck. Yeah. Sure. Beef. I didn't know that was bad. I was crushing them freshman year of college. Of course. No idea. Of course. College. Oh, a nice college way to do it too is a little cream cheese in there. Get it, get it, get it. Like almost make Alfredo. Make white trash, white trash, fucking ramen Alfredo. Put some hot sauce and some cream cheese in there. Pretty nice. Damn. Pretty fucking nice. Yeah. I used to make like a spaghetti out of it. Not put the packet in, but put ketchup and ground beef. Okay. All right. I'm like, we. Yeah. Ground beef. We're innovators. A box of pasta is like a dollar 49. True. But did you like the, the texture? Yeah, I like the noodles. I'm with you. The brains. I get it. Yeah. We didn't even, yeah. We just had kind of a fat mind meld there where I was like, I knew what he was doing. I was like, hey, I'm out of my depth. Yeah. Plus spaghetti takes longer to cook and it's messy and shit like that. Longer. Longer to cook is where you're losing me fully. We're talking about. Spaghetti cooks way longer than ramen. Six minutes versus, you know. And as a kid, I was. You got to brown the ground meat too. Right. That was already done. I mean, it's. What? It's already done. Ah. That's a leftover. Got it delivered. You were kind of doing. You got it delivered. Yeah, that's right. No, I had to do the ground beef. I thought it was a leftover situation, you know. Leftover ground beef. That's not a patty foley move. That would go to the dog. Respect. Yeah. Most of her refrigerator now is for the dog. You can't tell. Sweet potatoes, ground turkey. So the dog's eating better than you are, basically. At the house these days, yeah. So your mother's dog lives in a loving home and gets cooked for her. And you're in Ian's basement. That's very true. That's very true, baby. So remember when you said tires was your rock bottom? Mm-hmm. No, you're building back up, and I love that. Thank you, baby. We're going to get back in there. Yeah, you had your bad tooth. You had your back. Oh, the tooth. I forgot about the tooth. Which was wild. That was another thing I gave you so much credit for. I forgot about the fucking tooth. What was the bad tooth? I had to get my fucking, I had to get a fucking tooth pulled. You got bad, you got bad teeth all the time. Dude, I got bad everything. You had a constant toothache the whole time. I had a constant toothache, and I had, and my back was fucked. And I was, I got a little buck wild off the GLP. I tried to fight them one week, because they were having, because they had some, like, some guy was visiting, or like, producers were visiting, and then a reporter was visiting. Oh, yeah, I remember that. You were shitting your brains out. So we had a couple very decadent lunches. Yeah, that was a nice lunch, too. That was a nice lunch, but then I was, the only stunt day on tires, I had wild diarrhea when we were whipping around that course. Yes. And I was just, like, holding my asshole shut, dude. It was tough. It was tough. Have you ever had a, what was the, what's the greatest distress you've had off the, off the GLP-1s? He gets it. He's bad with it. Yeah. I get it. Usually, which it's calmed down a little bit, because I really have stopped eating to the point of where, you know, I get full. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And at night and shit like that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I get it. I would, if I ate too much at night, I would literally wake up the next morning, have sulfur burps. Oh, I hate those. And then everything in my stomach would liquefy, and I would have liquid diarrhea and cramps for, like, the next three or four days. Brutal, dude, man. Which is a great way to thin down. Of course. Sure. You know, because when, the opposite of that. After a week, you're shitting your brains out. Yeah, the opposite of that is I'm all backed up. I don't shit good on it at all. I've had zero, no complications. Not one. Not one side effect. That's crazy. Nauseous if I, like, really push it. Yeah. If we don't, like, there have been a couple times we went out to dinner as, like, a team, and I'm, like, drinking fucking martinis or Manhattan's. The drinks will get you, too. The drinks will get you, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then, like, we're doing apps and desserts, and let me try that. That'll. Absolutely. But. And you started heavy, too. You didn't, like, start out small. No, I went to some, like, quack doctor in Midtown. Some Hollywood doctor. I walked in, and she was, it was empty. Oh, that's a good sign. And just her, and she's like, you gotta buy it through me. I give it to you. Straight needle, no pen. Heavy bite needle. I still do it. So you would go in, and she gives it to you? Yeah, I get it from, they hand it to me. It's like, I tap my credit card, and she hands me a vial of drugs. Like, Brett Favre getting Percocet. Yeah, it didn't feel good. Do you know it's the, is it at least labeled, is the vial labeled? I sent it to a doctor, I know. Did you? To get synthesized, to get, to check what it was? No, like a picture. Oh, okay. Well, I don't know what was in there. It was definitely generic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And she did give you. She did give you a cocktail. It was a mix of, what are the two? Manjaro and Zeppelin. Yeah, we were. She gave you a cocktail? Are you supposed to mix them? I was snakebiting it. And a little bit of, a little bit of vermouth, I thought, was in there as well. A little gimlet. I tasted some triple sec on the back end. Yeah, it was, yeah, but that stuff, because now I'm on the regular whatever. We go to, like, I, because it was so expensive. It was, like, really expensive. Because you're paying cash. Because I'm just paying cash. No insurance. And then I switched to just, like, one of the services that's less expensive now. But that shit. That shit would hit you, and you would be, like. Yeah. It was, like, fucking, it felt like chemo, dude. Yeah. Yeah, it's brutal. It was really fucking bad. Yeah, you never got sick or got Zeppi burps or anything like that? No. You lost way quick. That's nice, dude. I think for us, I think we're the same type of guy where, because it took, I was, I remember you watched, like, the first tour doc, and I kept saying, like, man, I keep getting food poisoning. And it was, like, it was, like, wait, are you? Or are you just overeating on a medicine designed to stop you? Food poisoning. And I truly had to hit, it was, I was, like, it's, like, I had to hit the electric. I had to hit the electric fence for a year before I learned how to do it. And even now, I just feel like I know the rhythms of the, of, of. Yeah, you can, like, I can, I can get, you get caught with your hand in the cookie jar. Like, I can see a little bit, but I know how to knock it out, kind of. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Before the mousetrap. Get the cheese before the trap hits you. First day, you got to be real careful. First and second day are very. I'm opposite. First two days, I'm still in, I'm, I'm still playing with house money. It hits you later. Interesting. Yeah. No, no, for me, it's definitely the first, if you overeat that first day, you really pay for it. Wow. Oh, yeah. It doesn't, you don't feel it. And that's the danger day. The day, the day you take the shot, because your body's still like, it hasn't kicked in yet. But the second, if you have too decadent a day, that next day is brutal. And the last day, the day before the shot, that's like, I think the analogy, I, I don't know if I've said it on the pod or just I did in conversation once, but if you're playing like a stealth game, like Metal Gear Solid or some shit, where like, you know, you have to wait for the guard to go to the end of the hallway and then for the one second that he turns his back on you. You have to like dart. That's the last day where I'm like waiting for the warden. And I'm like, you know what I mean? Then I'm like eating chicken wings. And that's when I'm, that's when, that's when I'm scheduling team dinners and shit like that. But then, you know, you pay, you know, if, if you try and, and, and mathematically see how many calories you can get without getting sick on this medicine, it completely defeats the purpose of the medicine, but you know, whatever. But at the same time, like you said, it took me a year hitting the electric fence. It's like, you know, well, you had 30 some years of, you know, you had 30 some years of the opposite behavior. It's like one year to correct 30 years of bad behavior. Yeah. Isn't that bad? It ain't, until, you know, in four years, we all find out our kidneys have been liquid, liquid, liquefied. No way. They've been using it for 30, I mean, it's generic at this point. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's like. We're fine. I don't think so. We're using it as a weed killer for 30 years. It might round up. A 12.5 roundup? It's way cheaper. You're just spraying it in your mouth. Spray a little weed killer. Spray it on the food. I only ate half a pizza. This tastes like shit. Ellis, you're fighting it, huh? You're never, are you, do you think maybe you, are you, do you see these svelte three gentlemen? Do you get jealous? He doesn't. I'm ready to come around. Yeah. My sister just started it. She like, you know, has two kids and she fucking loves it. Yeah. And it's like one of the most positive reviews of GLP-1s I've ever heard. And I'm like, you know, I'm fucking 37. You have a child now, probably. By the time this comes out, you will have a child. Exactly. I don't know if I'm going to be fighting. So you want to live to at least 50, 55, you know. Dude, I got to say, I did it for when we were getting ready to have the baby. And it's like, I don't know. I would be a significantly worse guy without it. That's why I did it, too. For Kevin's son. I wanted to be a bad uncle. Well, a big reason I'm really open to it now is because I've had some fucked up knee pain. I don't know if it's because I'm fat. Let me stop you right there. What do you think the other option is? Your years of top-tier athletic performance? Yeah, all those dunks I did. You should have done the windmill. I won the home run derby, but was it worth it? You don't need it, though. I think I need it. Yes, he does. You think so? Stand up for me. No, he's big. I mean, he carries it better, but he's big. He needs it. We should be dead. We have evaded nature for so long. That's what a guy who actually needs it looks like. We needed intense medical intervention 10 years ago, me and you. Eldest is a guy who needs it. I haven't been able to get under 300 in a long time. Now, you could say, have I been really trying to exercise and diet? No, but I'm ready to just put poison in my body that makes me hate food a little bit more. You're over 300? Yeah. He's tall, though. He's 6'6". 6'6". I know. I know I'm built like LeBron James. I didn't say that. Thank you, Foley. Yeah, you two should just talk about how handsome you are. I don't want to kill it too hard with the chicks, you know? Well, do you have like an addiction with food? Do you like that with food? Yeah, of course. Okay. Yeah, that's when you need it. Food. Which a lot of people don't understand. Of course. All those naysayers out there. They can go fuck themselves. Of course. Why don't you work out and do this? I do it. Fuck you. Yeah. Well, there definitely is a type of, like, being fat is the one. It's the one thing that crosses all cultures. Everyone, no matter how downtrodden you are in society, the fat version of that is even more downtrodden, right? Oh, for sure. So it kind of unites humanity across races, sexualities, genders. Everybody looks down on the fat version of who they are, and then they can say, like, I'm better. At least I'm better than them. Sure. So it's like, you know, and some of these guys who have no personality whatsoever, we haven't had to develop personalities because the world looked at us. The world looked at us and was disgusted. Once you stop being cute at, like, eight, then the world's, as a fat person. It's a smelly fat kid. Yeah. That's a tough kid. Those awkward years. The first time you get a stain. Throw in a bad haircut. The first time you get a fucking ice cream stain on your sweater, it's over, bro. The first time you're fat and sloppy. Dude, I saw a guy. I was at a Wawa yesterday, and I'm like, I'm fucking getting a sizzling. I'm driving. I'm like, I'm getting a probably two breakfast sandwich. I'm having a bad day. I'm like, a cheat day. I'm getting it. Yeah. At Wawa. And I'm parking. Did you have a drive ahead of you? Were you driving up? I was driving from the shore. Yeah. Oh, that's great. And I'm like, the baby was sleeping in the back. My wife was in the back seat making sure he was sleeping. She was, like, nodding off. And I'm like, I'm just. You're in the zone. All you have is. I'm going to get two Wawa iced teas, two sandwich, and a cup of coffee. Wawa's your co-pilot. Absolutely. I get that. And I pull up, right? And I'm like, dude, as I'm loading the car, I'm like, I'm getting it. I'm getting it. I'm getting it. I'm not getting it. I'm getting it. You're doing that whole fucking. That dance. And I'm like, it's just whatever the wheels lands on when I get there. I don't know. It's a real. I know exactly. Maybe I go, fuck that. No, stay true. Or maybe I don't. And there's something so. You don't even know. I don't know. I have no idea. You surrender yourself up to the whims of the universe. And I, you know. Meanwhile, what happens is you get it actually even more than you would have just planned to get. Oh, sure. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I will say, and this happens every now and then. And like, I get. It gets. It gets burned into my brain. And I use it as I get out. And honestly, like, if I didn't move to New York, I would. I would be 400 pounds at a Wawa. Like, I would for sure. That's where I would be. Which it's weird that I did move to New York. And I moved 400 pounds. Isn't that crazy? Foley would be a piece of ass. Eating sweet potatoes with his dog. And ground turkey. And ground turkey. They're munching meat in the middle. They got a piece of ramen they're sucking. Yeah. A big ramen noodle. Lady in the tramping it. When we stopped taking the subway. Oh, he blew. I knew you had a car in New York. That's when. Yeah. I attribute everything back to that Jeep. He really turned into a different guy. Took it everywhere. That's so funny. Dude, this guy's coming out. And he's got. He's got my order. He's got the double stack of the sizzlies. He's got. He's got a gallon. A half a gallon of Wawa iced tea. And you know that's just for him. Dude, that's a serving though. He's one of those fats that's like. It's like he's about to pop. Like. If you hit him with a needle. Oh, the neck swollen. Yeah. The everything. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. And he gets in a fucking 2004 Cavalier. And he doesn't even. Dude, and he's on the dash. Wheel goes low, dude. He's most difficult. Wheel goes low. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I went. Don't be that. Don't be that guy. And nothing against him personally. Like I said, that is genuinely who I would be. Don't give in to your addictions. Yes. That guy is an avatar for what you could be. Could I. What I could be. Yes. And I went. Man, and I didn't. I got the egg bites. Which. Shout out to the Wawa egg bites. They are. Really? Yes. Stellar. Really? Huh. They are. Eldest, have you had them? I know you're an egg bite champion overall. Where are you? An egg bite? You and egg bites at Starbucks? I love. I love the Starbucks egg bite. I haven't had a good one otherwise. Yeah. Starbucks lost it. Oh, really? They cooked them. Some of them are cold in the middle. They're mushy. I will. I will give you that. It's not. He doesn't know what he's talking about. He's crazy. No, no, no. Me? The consistency is not there. It's insane. I'll give you that, but they lost it. Still a fantastic organization. If you get a good one. You know who likes Starbucks? Ian Fidance. Good guy. What do you do? You know who works at a Starbucks? Ian Fidance. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm kidding. You do the red pepper ones? The white ones? No, I got to get the bacon Gruyere. Yeah, you do. That's crazy. I like the white. Because you're a heavy bite boy. This is so funny. I also like the veggie ones. Yeah. And I started with the. Obviously, you start when you're fat as shit. Obviously, the first one you order is the bacon one. Yeah. But even that, I'm like. That's the point. But then I'm like, this is just, it really feels like too much. Gouda even sounds like a fat cheese. It is a fat cheese. I know, but Gouda. If that, the bacon Gouda egg bite feels like it should be spread onto a fucking thing of sourdough. It's not a bite on, it has no crunch. It has no nothing. It needs a texture. They miss on the texture. They do. For sure. Sorry, I'd get the ham and Swiss baguette and throw a couple egg bites on there. Now we're talking. That's beautiful. I am past that part of my life. If I ever get back there, I will. It's over for me. 100%. My back is, like, honestly, having back pain is unfortunately like the reminder where I'm like, this is because you're fat as shit. Yeah. Like, I always thought it would be, I always thought it would be blood work. I always thought I would get diabetes. I always thought I'd have a heart problem. The gout, something like that. Luckily, we've avoided that, you know, but I never thought it would be structural. I never thought about just the weight you're putting on your fucking, you know. Yeah. What is it? Lower back, the vertebrae, something like that. I have a couple of vertebraes very fucked up. I should read it. I should read it out one day so that some doctor can diagnose me via the podcast, but I have spondylolisis or some bullshit. I don't know. I don't fucking know, dude. I just don't have a man back. I'm so fucked. I'm so fucking fucked. But before we move on, I want to say to all the Wawa people out there, the egg bites, they sit there in the heat lamp, so they stay warm and they're constantly crisp. That's all I want to say. Try them out. All right. We will have to do some investigation, Elders. We will. We do need to weigh in on that as well. I'm always down. I'm a big Sheetz guy. I love the Sheetz food. This is crazy. Funny you mention that. This is crazy. Uh-oh. He's a Sheetz guy now. I'm not a Sheetz guy now. Wow. That's crazy. You think you start a podcast with a guy? Your best friends are 15 years? You can't become a Sheetz guy. I didn't say it was become. Listen, I've been taking a lot of heat on the pod for my new life, my hip ways. Yeah. Give me some of that. Hanging out, new music. Tell me. Getting a tattoo. Oh, what's the tattoo? Butterfly. Come on. Come on, man. Where is it? You joined a band? No. I'm mixing around with a couple of guys. We're working on some stuff. He's in the middle of a midlife. He's in a proper midlife crisis. Yeah. I mean, I would say three-quarter life crisis, but yeah. 90, 95% likely. Yeah. He's now a Sheetz guy. All that aside, he's a fucking Sheetz guy. Sheetz guy. I got to live it up the next few weeks. Sheetz. Sheetz guy is nuts. I mean, look, being from the greater Philadelphia area, that feels like being a traitor to me. Let me ask you this. Sheetz is like Western. Western Maryland. It isn't like- Ohio is where I live. Ohio, Western Maryland. Like, Frostburg, where my brother went to college, was the first place I encountered a Sheetz. Frostburg? It's like the middle of Pennsylvania over. Oh, exactly. Yeah, Pittsburgh, all that stuff. So to me, that feels ludicrous for you to say that. But if you're driving out there and there ain't a Wawa, are you going to stop there and get something? No, you just say, no, you just stop at a fucking gas station. You don't just become a gas station guy. Like, if I fucking stop at a random gas station- Sitco. I'm not all of a sudden a Sunoco guy. Because I got a fucking horse. You don't come on and go, you know what's great? It's a Sunoco. Yeah, yeah. Well, that's what I'm saying. I just happen to stop at a Sheetz, and I give a glowing review of that. The glowing review. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They got a lot going on. They got the cooler with the beers and stuff like that. Okay. Slushies. Look, Sheetz to me does feel very Wawa adjacent. I'm not, I don't mean to- There's a big beef. I don't mean to- I mean, there's a proper rivalry in the state of Pennsylvania. That's what I'm saying. If we're being, if, look- It's like rooting for the Cowboys. Exactly. There are apples and oranges. If that chain symbolizes a way, then yes, they're both fucking good, if we're being honest, right? But it's not about the actual offerings. It's about what it means to your, like, I'm a Royal Farms guy, and I will always be a Royal Farms guy. They got that chicken. The chicken. The chicken. I've never had it. Think about it all the time. You've got to get in there. They're not anywhere close. It puts it in a different class. I can objectively say the greater offerings of Wawa, there's more at a Wawa. There's more at a Sheetz. But we nail what we do well. I respect that. And it matters to me. It is emotional to me. I have a sentimental bond with it. And you will never hear me say I'm a Wawa guy, ever, because I'm a Royal Farms guy. Sure. Do I like Wawa? Yes. So I just think you need to think about who you're loyal to. I never said I was a Sheetz guy. I'm kind of throwing him under the bus, though. I went there once, and I liked it. All right. All right. All right. Jesus. I think that's Kevin just misled me, then. I thought you had some. Hey, who's side are you on? I thought as part of your midlife crisis, you were now, I denounce Wawa, and I am Sheetz only. I'm getting a Sheetz butterfly tramp stamp. Start dating a girl from Sheetz? That I would believe. That's funny. That is the least far-fetched thing I've heard so far. She gets a 10% this year. I like mozzarella sticks in my sandwiches. Nothing wrong with that. That is very interesting, though, because you guys are, this is, there is a, as an enjoyer of your output, it's, this is, I know there's, you guys are kind of at very, you're treating this part of your life very differently in a very artistically interesting way. You're the subvert. You are literally. You're literally a suburban dad. That's good PR. You're literally a suburban dad with an above-ground pool. How you doing? $288. Wow. $220. Did you have a good time with it? Yeah, it's currently green, but the neighbors don't like it. But the maiden voyage was nice. It was great. It was nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. A couple of beers in there. But he is getting an actual, he is getting an actual pool. I am thinking about getting an actual pool. You got to. What's the fucking point of becoming rich by accident? But I don't live in the, that's like, we don't, I'm still here all the time. I'm still in New York. We just go there. Your vacation home in Jersey. It's my country home. Your country home in Jersey City or wherever the fuck it is. I mean, who am I? It's Metuchen or whatever. Interesting. I like that. That's a nice move. You want your child to fucking frolic a little bit. Is that the idea? Oh, it's also, yeah, you just do the thing where like, yeah, I woke up this morning with him and I took him out back. He's in a sandbox. I got the dog run. I'm having a coffee. The dog's chasing a fox. And then we come up here and it's like, you know, some guy's, you know. Of course. Out there. Out front of your, just shitting on your door, literally shitting on your doorstep. No, no. I, we had a, we had, we had a friend of the program who said that was a big problem for him. And he asked us to cut it out because he told the story about a guy literally shitting on his doorstep over and over again. And he was like, Hey man, I have a baby. I don't want to explain to my child this. This is a little early to explain. Grown man shitting on the, especially imagine trying to potty train your fucking baby and they just see a grown man shitting outside and they're like, well, he doesn't have to fucking shit in the toilet. Why don't I? Is this in the city we're talking about? This is in the city. I mean, weird in the suburbs. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that would be insane in fucking Metuchen. Borden town. That's awesome, man. So you're, so. I like it. It's. Are you enjoying fatherhood? I'm enjoying fatherhood. Yeah. It's really, it's fucking awesome. But you do realize. You change like that. Yeah. It's like it happens. He changed? Yeah. Oh, okay. I see. I see the, I see the tensions. No one's upset about it. Yeah. I see the tensions here. He doesn't even get blackout drunk with me four times out of the week. I still do that. I still booze in a little bit. Yeah. I still do that. Not with me though. Oh, I see. With his suburban friends and stuff like that. Oh. I got it. There's, yeah. Like my wife has made friends. He don't like it. Here's the tension. They're hanging out. This is interesting. So maybe some of Foley's, maybe he's acting out, Kevin. For sure. Maybe he's, this is his way of saying, hey, pay attention to me. You're over there. Wait, he gets a lot of attention. And that's bad news. But dude, I learned one thing. He gets one. He gets more attention some weeks than my son. Unfortunately, that's where we're at. Talk about the electrical fence. I finally learned to stay off Kippy's radar. Right. Oh, okay. Okay. Interesting. So this is, yes, your relationship is, this is phase three, basically. Of us. Of you. Because phase one is, you know, open micers together. Sure. The initial friendship. Phase two is when you. I was in charge running the operation. Right. Because you're 40 years older than everybody else. At one point, he was in charge. Yeah. And I looked around. I'm like, you got to get out of the way, guys. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me start getting. Let me start getting some shit done. Well, as an open mic, or if someone's a decade older than you, you're like, well, that's a guy I need to respect. For sure. And then you start realizing like. No, they didn't. No, I don't. No, I did. And I still, I still respect you to it, obviously. And the things you're good at. Yeah. There's certain things you just like, you know. But he was the kind of guy where he would start hanging out at like an open mic. And then he didn't have cigs. So he'd bum cigs off you. Right. You know, which I'm pro CAA. Of course. Everyone's smoking cigs. Let's smoke cigs. Of course. But then he'd be the kind of guy like, yeah, let me get a ride home. I'm like, all right, well, I park, you know, this way. And then you're walking to the car. He's like, how fucking far did you park? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's mad at you. I'm like, what is this guy's deal, man? I did recently. I went to, I went out to eat with a couple of buddies. It was in LA. And they, they were like offering me a ride home. I was like, oh, great. That's awesome. But they had parked up a hill. And I was like, I'm going to take an Uber. I was like, I'm not walking up a hill. You only offer a ride if the car's right there. What the fuck? You asked for a ride. It was a nice, it was a nice gesture from my friends. And yeah, yeah. But it is very funny to complain. Basically, I was trying to avoid being, doing that exact thing. Halfway up the hill. Like, what the fuck? Come on. What are you guys, out of your fucking minds? Making me walk all the way up here? I had a drive to a show with Cassidy like two months ago. And he lives in Sunnyside. He parks about seven miles away from his fucking apartment. Had to hoof it down there. Brutal, man. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry you had to get 12 minutes of cardio. I hate when I don't know where I'm going. And he's like, it's right over here. It's not right over here. He doesn't know where I'm going. It's too much for me. Yeah, you. Well, they can't give you the information because you'll get mad. If you know how far the walk is. Yeah, it's also. They used to do that. We used to lie to him of what, dude. Yeah. He's also. I don't need it now. He's lost the weight and he's been doing great. But it was always, we would always clock it. The team would clock it in the airport. Right. He'd see the gate and go. Hey. 84. What the fuck? And they put the distance on it now, too. 15 minutes. I'm like, that's not good for the team's vibes. Of course. The second you get one piece of information, it's like, fucking fuck. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we would like leave him and then he's like, you're not waiting for me. But now he'll charge. He's right up there with the pack. I love that. Sometimes leading the pack. I love that. Yeah. That's beautiful. You're going back to becoming a leader fully. No. Today's a little speed bump. I walk away from him. I do my own thing. I see. I see. I see. Okay. So yeah, this is interesting. So phase three. So phase two is AYG. Phase three, I think, is- And phase three is now family man and whatever's going, whatever he decides to settle into. Yeah, it's not great. I believe in you. You're doing great. So I got to give him that. And it was a, I remember when I saw him change, like into a dad. Right. Which made him- Started to smack him around a little bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It made him- Oh, it made him more stern with you. A hundred percent. And he would throw things at me like, you know, my time is more valuable now. Right. I got this. Which is true. Which is objectively true. One hundred percent. Yeah. Hey, Stavi, what would be your response if you drove an hour to work, got to work, and then the guy you're supposed to work with was like, I'm not coming in today. Well, let me tell you something. You're going to be like, well, you can't do this. I will find out soon when Eldest has a kid. We're going to be in the reverse situation where somehow it makes him more, it will make him less responsible, you know, at his job. Why? Is he late and stuff like that? Huh? Is he late? Eldest does a great job. Eldest will do a B at any task you give him. He will never do better, but he won't do worse. I respect that. Thank you. Yeah. I'm sorry. I should say he's capable of reaching a B. Gotcha. At some point on any task you give him. Now I'm leaning Stavi's way. And he's there. He's there. But I am actually very curious to see. I actually think Eldest is going to be, he is going to be an incredible dad, but I also have all the people who have a kid I'm the least worried because Eldest, you can throw anything at him and he will not fuck it up. Now, will he do the best job ever? No. Is his kid going to be a genius? No. But he's got a great mom, you know what I mean? The kid's going to have a great mom that's going to pick up a lot of, and there will be slack, but Eldest is sort of like a pack mule. You could just keep throwing stuff and he's going to keep going up. Yeah. He does roll with the punches. He does. He does. I've never seen you emotionally. I've never seen you height emotions one way or the other. Exactly. He's a steady hand, which is very important as a tour man. That is his A plus skill, is his steady hand as a tour manager. That's great. That's needed. It can be insane. Now, sometimes he forgets to make sure we have a place to park the bus or something like that, but that's okay. That's a lot of shit, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You got to give him that. It's funny how a bunch of you guys got thrown into being actual tour managers. I know. It is very funny. That's why I know Eldest is going to be a good dad, because he has no business doing this job the way he has no business being a father. Jesus. He will do. He's done. Look. The podcast is fun. Look where we are. New studio. Fucking Sirius XM deal. He's killing it. He's killing it. Eldest is, for my money, the number one- You got a Sirius deal? The number one podcast producer. Yeah. What the fuck, Yippee? Spending all the time with the kid. You think it's his- Maybe he shut up the meetings on time. We'd have a deal. This kid's not in the trouble. Hey, the guy who's late to everything? You don't want to give him a bunch of money? All right. We'll try again next year. It's all political. Yes. You're staunch politics, Foley. Your political views- Sheets vs. Wawa. Yeah. The Sirius guys are big Wawa guys. They heard you- You believe he turn-coded us? They heard your dalliance with the Wawa guys. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. That's not true. with sheets in there. They've turned on you. - I'm probably too good looking for you. No, yeah, I never thought about it like that. I guess we are in a different phase a little bit here. - I think it was said pretty good on one of the Patreon episodes that we did of just like, you know, we just need a little separation of church and state. - Of course, of course. - Right? - That's all. - I drove him nuts last time. - We all have, no, no, but the way- - And a little bit this time. - Of course, but the way that- - But joke, all jokes aside. - We've all been thrown into some, like none of us thought we were gonna be this successful. None of us were ready for it. And as much as I shit on elders, I don't wanna run a business. That sucks dick. I wanna do standup and I have to fucking have meetings. That sucks. You guys have no fucking, I mean, Foley actually is the only one behaving the way we all should be. All of us should be like, what? We have responsibility? No, thank you. I'm gonna go eat a hoagie and sleep in a basement. Meanwhile, me and you are pretending to be something we're not. I have to give Foley credit for staying true to who we are. - True to himself. - We all have been our entire lives. - Thank you very much. - Guy's a goddamn genius. - I appreciate that, Stoddy. - You got it. And look, we'll get into all your dynamics when I come on "Are You Garbage" very soon. - Yes, sure. - But for now, I think we need to- - It's out now already, I promise. - It's already out now, you're right. We've already gotten into your dynamics on my episode of "Are You Garbage?" But now let's take the new expertise you boys have gained in the last six months and let's apply it to some of our callers. What do you say? Let's hit the Visible. - Let's lock in. - Let's hit the Stobby Hotline sponsored by Visible, Eldis. - Can I say this first? - You absolutely can. - I'm very confused by the timeline. I don't know what's going on. - You don't have to, man. It's kind of like "Tenet." - Yeah. I saw that on a plane with bad audio. I almost jumped out of the fucking back of the plane. - We watched it on Christmas on mushrooms. - Yeah. - And it was awesome. That was one of the most fun holidays I've ever had. - You thought it was awesome. - Well, we were so fucked up. - Sure. - I watched it sober, too, and I still loved it. - I'm going to have to watch it sober. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - I like Robert Pattinson in it, but that's where I came to a certain point with Nolan and his fucking scores. - It's like, "Dude, pull it back a little bit." You know what I mean? What the fuck? - He's got crazy taste. - You heard it here first. Christopher Nolan's scores are too intense. Now, let's play us some calls, Eldis. - Play some hits, will you? - Stobby, Elvis, esteemed guest. First time, long time. - I am calling because I have tried to stobby's way of having conversations with my buddy who I am letting crash on my couch. - Mm, Ian's calling. - He keeps eating all my snacks, man. - Ian's got weird snacks. - Oh, I believe it. - It's like beet juice, cherry juice. - He is in great shape. - My couch, let me explain my living situations. I live in a one-bedroom apartment. - Yeah. - I live in a one-bedroom apartment. Oof. - You have to walk through my bedroom to get to my bathroom. - Ooh, well. - I decided to allow my buddy, who was suicidal, sleep on my couch so that he could be in a city where he could get access to work because he was in a very rural area with no access to transportation. So, he has been on my couch-- - He's just probably lying out there. - For two months. - Yeah. - I told him, three months max. At this point, he has. I told him I'd give him a little bit over three months, but I told him at the end of a certain month, he has to get out. My problem is, for this last month, how in the hell can I get him to leave my apartment so I have some time to myself? He has essentially just not left my apartment. He worked one, two, three days a week. I'm not even gonna lie to you. He doesn't have a job. Hopeful he'll eventually find a job, but in the meantime, I can't even jerk off. - Right. - In any meaningful way. You know, I'd like to take a little time, stretch out on my bed, spend a little time, not just get the venom out. And I have tried to tell him like, hey, it'd be good for you to get out and talk to people. And just be out talking to people. - The guy just shot him. - I'm not going anywhere! - Is that Stobby? - That was basically it. - Nice, Elders. You're fucked. I mean. - Yeah. - I mean, you, at least you, he did a good job of setting that initial boundary, right? And you gave your buddy a chance. He squandered it. What can you really do? For you to want that, this last month to yourself, it's like, buddy, that's not, you know that's not happening. - Your month's cooked. - Your month's gone. - You just gotta go, you have to do more work. You have to use this month to go, how are we gonna get you out of here? What's the next step? - Every yes. - What more can I do for you to get my life back is what you have to do. - Yes. I would say, from a different perspective. - Sure, give the guy a chance. - You can't make a deal with that guy and then say, you gotta be out in three months. - Yes, you can, Foley. - I think it's gotta be an unconditional thing. - No, it does not. - You know who does that in finance? - Yeah, yeah, okay, so this guy should become president. - You can't say you got three months and then fucking, you gotta get out of here, man. Where the fuck's he gonna go? Guy's suicidal, he's got health problems. - Yeah, so he gave him a three month window to figure his shit out. He gave him a place to stay, he gave him a place to crash. He gave him access to opportunities. And yes, that's more than enough time. - Access to opportunities. You gotta walk through his bedroom to get to the bathroom. Whatever he's living, the city he's living in apparently has more opportunity. - Oh yeah, that's right. - So I would say, and I see why we have two dueling perspectives here. - We have to say, we got him a corporate lease for three months that ended and now he has nowhere to live. That's why he's at Ian's. It's a little too on the nose. - That's so fucking funny. - I had my own place. - Eld is doing good producing by accident. Yes, you could absolutely, so both you and our caller, Foley, three months is absolutely enough time when you have, especially if you have a good job, but this guy doesn't even have that. - Hey, he has some medical issues. - He does have some medical issues, that is true. And that's also weird. What does that mean exactly? But look, I agree with Kevin where it's like, this month's gone and actually what you need to be doing - More work. - Is make sure the rest of your life is not cooked. Make sure he doesn't creep in another month. Make sure he doesn't fucking go act like a fucking asshole when you finally are like, all right, man, I told you. So you have to set him up. You have to be like, hey man, what's the plan? Like, what's the plan for getting out of here? 'Cause I gotta, I love you. You're my guy and I'll continue to help as much as I can, but I kind of need my life back. I need to do this. I can help. And so try, but always in every interaction, make it clear. - Yeah. - That there is no, we're not extending this. - Every other month, you gotta be out. - You need to start doing that work 'cause he's for sure not. The work he's doing is, if I just don't, like he's trying to extend it. That's what he's doing in his head. He's going, if I don't do this, if I don't bring it up, oh dude, it's two weeks. He hasn't fucking said shit yet. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - So you have to say it now. - Maybe if I never leave, he'll be cool with it. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. This ain't so bad. Just the guy smoking weed on his couch. - Yeah. That's a lose-lose situation right there. - You going to work again, pussy? Playing fucking Switch all day? - Yeah, that sucks. - Yeah, you have to, that's a great point. You have to shake him out of that mindset. - Yeah. - 'Cause right now, he is trying to extend and you have to, he clearly hasn't pulled himself up by his bootstraps. - No, not at all. - It'd be one thing you could extend him if he was like, you know, hey, I've only been working, it took me two months to get a job, but I got the job. - Right, right, right. - Like if he's gotta give you some sort of initiative. - That's a great point. - Like if he was in a band or got a tattoo, lost a bunch of weight, he's killing it, sure. - If he's like probably too jealous of your good looks. - Yeah, yeah. - I get that. - You think joining a band and getting a tattoo is equivalent to getting a job fully, is that what you're thinking? - Looking cool, yeah. - Then the money comes, guy. - It's sad to say this, but it's like you seeing the fat guy at Wawa, I can tell you right now, this kid is not ready to leave this place. - No. - It's not, but that's not, that's neither here nor there. - Yeah, you have to, you have to cut ties. - Yeah, and look, this guy, maybe he was a little naive about how easy this was gonna be. That happens a lot, right? When people, you put yourself in the head space of a friend who is fucking insane or as mental or as severely depressed. - That was his problem. - And yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, truly. - Hey, you ain't lying. - Yeah. - I know you fucking lying. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Caused him a lot of heartache. - Yeah, Kevin was like, "Well, obviously Foley will behave in a reasonable manner." - To go back, sure. - And that was your biggest mistake, Ryan. - There's been a lot of discussion on the team of like, I keep using my brain to solve his problems. - That's it, yeah. - And that's my flaw. - 100%. - Is to think he's gonna go, "Oh, this is how logically you would do it, A, B, and C." So you just gotta go. - But look, that is hard, right? That's hard for this guy to figure out too. - It's hard for all parties involved, obviously. - Everybody, especially, I mean, you know. - That's pretty easy for me. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Having a good time. true true so you see you've seen the mind of these people this is you're looking at a very successful version of your friend and he is still arguing for getting more than three months so you're a fucking unemployed guy you know with chronic with tuberculosis or whatever the fuck he has that he can't even do one day of hard labor yeah for all we know this kid can start doing crowd work clips or something like that and be killing in a month yeah he's gonna be asking he's disabled send him to kill tony let him do a bucket pool this guy this guy might be able to fucking tour with uh you know some guy with cerebral palsy um uh so yeah those are your options either make get him a bucket pool or fucking or give him you buy him a couple months of indeed or some shit like yeah you got it but you got it you're gonna have to do the work because he's not doing it yeah you're fucked up letting him in there and i can tell you that from a perspective exactly it's like a it's like vampire rules it's gonna have squawking squatters rights yeah exactly well this guy in fact this guy's probably googling squatters rights before he's applying to jobs like this i'm telling you so yeah get him out of there one way or the other and get ready to get him out of there that is a funny way to look at it you think of how you would solve the problem you know yeah yeah because if i had three months like crashing i would be like jesus this is fucking miserable i gotta get the fuck out of here like i the first month in new york i did crash on my friend's couch and it was fucking horrible first of all they were insane they were like addicted to meth or not real meth like they were crushing adderall sure and they were cheating on each other constantly and then i got bed bugs from from the fucking from the place and i had no money i just moved to new york uh and i took i had like you know i had maybe like three grand in the bank right or like jesus really i moved up here with 186 respect yeah no i had i had like uh because me and eldest were me eldest and our friend christina were moving in together and i had like just enough for you know yeah first month whatever and it cost me 750 dollars to fumigate like i had to put all my balloons into a truck and fumigate them and i did not have that 750 yeah yeah that was a fucking but even then i was like i cannot be in this situation yeah we gotta get the fuck you gotta you gotta move so you're kind of somewhere in the middle between me and kippy a little bit i think i am yeah no i i i can really let my like when my addictions take over i am more useless than you fully financially and stuff like that with life you lean more towards kippy but you know i also say i can get in the zone i'm just a man of your homeowner i'm a man of extremes yes yes i know it's crazy that you make me look responsible like i'm i look like warren buffett and meanwhile i'm blowing i have no idea i only look like exactly you're also grading on the comedian's curve is that a shot at me what's going on that you know warren no no he that's not he didn't mispronounce buffet that's a that's a guy yeah me margaritaville um so anyway yeah you're probably fucked but try and get your friend out of there yeah you're fucked next question let him in he's be stern you gotta be stern yeah yeah he's gonna kill himself oh god and if he does we have no league we are not legally responsible at all this is for entertainment purposes only what's up scabby baby an ld and esteemed guest um i am a wife and a mother of two i'm 28 years old my husband's 29 and i'm also a bisexual lady so ain't that repping for those nice um here's my question my husband and i before we've had kids have been known to step outside into the dating world together just in terms of like sleeping with people i.e we've fucked girls together um we haven't done so we've had kids and like gotten me you Duane Reilly: that's no one should be using shit like that yeah girls together yeehaw um we haven't done so since we've had kids and like gotten married and kind of settled down but we've talked about it and it's something i would like to do for him as like kind of a gift because what a good wife you know like a fun night to be a little bit more youthful but my question is how do we go how do i go about it i don't know i don't know i don't know about finding this person i haven't dated anyone other than my husband in almost a decade now um i don't really want it to be anybody we know intimately i would much prefer it be like a safe stranger so how do i find a safe stranger in you know not a super crazy populated area right okay i was gonna say a dating like a fuck forward dating app like field or some shit like that sure yeah is that they're there's like i don't i mean the old one was thrinder yeah i don't know like yeah you like you like either go on as a couple or a single looking for couple interesting interesting yeah uh do you ever get in the mix what we do in the burbs do you ever get in there me yeah yeah yeah no what i got chicken fingers going on there is the single dude looking for a couple i mean that's crazy yeah yeah yeah but they're looking for it so it's like you know why yeah but they're not looking for you for us no they're looking for a hot chick we're not really the bulls even if they want guys they don't want fucking no the comic hold on a second just give me a second to get hard they want they want their wife plowed you know what i mean which i will not do yeah me neither me neither yeah i can't wrap my head around that yeah i don't know but then like you're public i don't know if they want it public like if someone else sees it then people know right small town small that might not be great i don't know yeah i mean in which also the like uh this is i mean i would say my first piece of advice would be like how did this happen in the past right when you guys are younger or what was the situation how did you do it because if you want a no work no you know no strings no you know nobody to know about it then perhaps foley's immediate suggestion of a pro makes the most sense right like for sure like getting a getting a you know and maybe you get maybe you spring for a nice uh uh third week they have the gfe they have the girlfriend experience do they have the do they have the third third experience where you go out get some drinks grab a drink you know what i mean if you want it to be just sex whatever that's and you're worried about like you know like she said public place whatever that's probably your that's probably your most direct that's kind of a fail safe to have like yeah this is there's a level of uh inconspicuous that goes with this or whatever yeah confidentiality exactly exactly however yeah the problem with that is they might want it to be a normal you know uh not a regular person but a person that that's not a sex worker yes yeah that might be hotter for them hotter for them sure i'm just saying well yeah we're giving them options so this is your first number one option then i would say a very fuck specific app because even that the people you're worried about finding you they're not on field you know what i mean like maybe they're on tinder like maybe your neighbors or whatever on a regular yeah they're also in but the free people in there are in there the freaky app i think is the way to go now i will say the way she's framing this is it is this is the hardest difficulty threesome to set up i would say is like hot girl trying to convince a different girl to basically take one for the team and also suck her husband off you know what i mean like i don't know is your yeah is your husband hot is like what does he bring to the table because the way to do this otherwise is like and if you want to feel a little more youthful if you don't want it to be a one-off then it is you and your husband live the kind of lifestyle you used to where you used to maybe some fine chicks together go out to the bar you gotta be out in the field you gotta act if you want if you want a moment exactly that's that's the way to get to it unless you want it to be like a completely you know completely no strings attached whatever in which case i do think yeah you know patronizing a sex worker i think would be the the the way to go if you want it as simple and then i would probably go you know fuck app in the middle um who knows who's to say i like how she put the uh the rule down that you can't be anybody we know her i mean of course that's yeah that's but you guys are in a better place than most because most people i would say if you were trying this for the first time i'm like don't do it you're not going to pull it off you have fucking kids but you know if you guys have done it and i do think it works for some people yeah then it's more nostalgia than it is yeah it's like more like if you if you went to concerts a lot then you had to right we're going to a concert yeah yeah let's go see the the backstreet boys reunion um yeah i i think that's probably your move i will say are you getting anything out of this because she's only framed this as a gift for her husband i think that's bullshit i think she thinks she wants to eat a little pussy as well i mean she's writing into it or she's calling into here like she's invested in which i like i like if i mean look we we are for horny women should be more publicly horny they shouldn't be shamed for their sexual urges so don't so don't feel like you have to say well i'd love to give him a present it's like if you want to suck some titties sure but that doesn't mean you necessarily you know want to do she because i'm not wrong right in her speak in her speaking she said she positioned it it was she wants to do that for him for him i guess that is the leading but she also yeah she did but she didn't she didn't have any anything hinting at contempt in her not at all she seems pretty excited to do it as well so yeah for sure i would say my number one thing would be like think back to how you did it in the first place because that's really what you're trying to recreate yeah go to a fucking bar get on even if it doesn't happen that sounds kind of fun like i i'm not kidding you're at least out there with your husband that's fun that's a team building a couple apps stuff like that yeah it's also funny if it doesn't work fully fucking jumps to the mozzarella you want somebody's wings honey before we go back and do it that also could go very that's yeah you don't want i'm gonna say don't load up on uh don't go to tgi friday's endless appetizers then try and get pussy with your husband i would say keep a a light lunch and go into it go into it that way you have mustard on your shirt she walked away uh but yeah that's that's beautiful and that's i hope to one day find a love like that hell is that true absolutely it sounds fucking awesome is it true no i don't do i want 10 billion dollars just dropped on my doorstep no foley uh good luck good luck sister let us know if you suck some titties with your husband i'm sorry hey dog you don't have a podcast you guests and or guests um i've got an olympic scenario that i don't think i've heard so for context me and my high school sweetheart we've been together 10 years married for three um when we graduated high school we were in pretty decent shape um and pretty shortly after we started college um we just kind of started piling on the pounds um we were living in her parents attic uh for several years times are tough out here um we turned 25 moved out and pretty much immediately uh started sharing the weight um we just frankly stopped drinking a case of beer a day and stopped eating best food every day um honestly that's also that's another beautiful type of love early 20s in your parents attic drunk together eating fast food together if i found a girl like that man my life is so different my life is so different right now and my college girlfriend wanted me to achieve things unfortunately next question i'll keep going on this yeah i just said all right anyways a year later after we we had moved out and started you know getting clean um we i had lost 40 pounds sorry 30 pounds and my uh wife had lost 70 pounds um which was huge great for her she feels better um her self-esteem is a lot higher um naturally we're just kind of posting more on instagram on the stories stuff like that it's been great um until we had a positive confidence is up yeah yeah posting more on instagram is really funny i never even thought of that as a metric for sure it's like i show my fat face in public now i know where this is going this guy's fucked yeah okay let's find out um until we had a family trip um and these everybody that was on this trip um hadn't really seen us in the last year um so they were all blown away um by you know just the physical change and that's great but um my brother-in-law asked me if we were taking ozempic and you know fair question i guess uh you know 70 pounds in a year is pretty steep but we we didn't take ozempic and i'm kind of in my head now thinking is he the only person that thinks we we needed that to lose the weight um is it a one-off don't give in don't give in to what our thin oppressors have yeah to the context they've put these medicines under good for you but you hear in his voice he thinks he's better than fat people you're taking a little offense to this i didn't take ozempic i am i didn't take ozempic i am because he's he is one of us this happens all the time on his side because you're a fucking fat traitor as well what do you mean you you you think he's better than us i don't think he's better i didn't first of all he didn't say that he did he no you would it's implied no he's he's no no he's i'm not on ozempic but does everybody think that yeah exactly who cares if they think that sounds like a real fun vacation but but like why i guess i guess what i'm wondering is why do you care these that is the that is the framework of the anti-fat coalition that you have you've you've sort of he's saying he's one of the good ones he's saying he's one of the good fats well stavi you gotta look in the mirror you know what i mean we gotta stare into the abyss this guy's not better than me no one's saying he's better than you he did it differently though yeah yeah he did it differently it's a i think it's a different kind of situation that some people have than what maybe he has and he's younger sure we all had runs when we were younger a hundred percent lost a bunch that's actually you know what that's a good this guy's gonna be fat like four more times you know what i take it back man yeah enjoy it hit me up around 40 i do remember losing 40 pounds in my mid-20s and getting a girlfriend yeah so you know what i'm sorry man uh but i would but but my point does stand in that people do see it as like cheating or i agree i mean i agree with you for sure where it's like is it cheating if you fucking take you know blood pressure medicine is it cheating if you fucking if you have migraines and you take fucking you know medicine to stop the migraines so you can have a regular life or whatever sure i guess like but i think in his his like his point of view is like i've worked crazy hard for a year sure to lose 40 pounds and then his dickhead brother-in-law comes up like oh what are you doing this and it's like just to assume that you're quote-unquote taking the easier route out rather than being like sure not even going how'd you do it what what are you what are you lifting are you running like just and it's disrespectful disrespectful to his journey at that sure sure sure and but my point would be you are by even being bothered by your dickhead brother-in-law you are buying into the the thought process that leads to that even being an insult i got you anyway let's let's finish maybe you know i don't want to cut him off and i get it he's he's in his mid-20s and he is proud basically just don't want everybody to think that we only lost the weight because we took olympic um and not that we started working out and dieting and had to make some fundamental life changes um that's it appreciate it love you no i stand with what i said yeah i got back on your side i stand with what i said he thinks he's better than me yeah and you know what in some way look congratulations huh we it's just like if we the guys that are dickheads you know that say you know oh my god people they take that stuff i work at every day what's the problem we would just be a part of that if we didn't recognize the fact that not that it's the easy way out but if you eat right exercise and do the right things that's a much harder journey than taking then you know for sure that's a much harder liquid diarrhea for seven days sure look my point is we're different is there anything worse than someone who used to be fat and all of a sudden thinks they're superior to fat people brutal that's what there's still a fat person at heart exactly and this guy i'm on i'm on board and this guy is kind of halfway there where he's like he he thinks he's better for losing what he he's like i don't want people to think that it's like why not what do you think that says about you if you did yeah first of all by the way okay they're gonna think that man i don't know what to tell you yeah that's the world we live we're at a time if you're losing a bunch of weight in a year now people are just assuming yeah like if some if somebody if somebody in the 80s you know had a parasite and they lost a bunch of weight and had dark circles under their eyes everyone's like well that guy has aids you know you live in the time of aids we live in the time of ozempic you know what i mean like they're just gonna think that interrogate why you think that's an insult that's what i would say and don't think you're better than uh you know than than other it's like all you locked in for a year come see me in five years before you start fucking turning your nose up at other fat people there but for the grace of god go i and don't forget that i would say i don't like this superiority you have over fat people because it's the same strain of thinking as somebody thinking you know you're less than for using and look obviously this is a personal thing but it goes for anything else it's like people really think they're better than you you know they just why are we finding ways to think we're better than you know it's kind of like you got sober and it's like you're judging the the way you got sober yeah the end result is every right right these three people are sober depending on how they got there right right right so anyway i would say why is it bothering you and they just are going to think that because that's how the fucking world works now we're at a time where there are miracle drugs but if you just like look there was a time where i remember uh maybe like in college as you just talked through a burp yeah yeah i had to burp through my everything it was turkey bacon it was a turkey bacon egg and cheese thank you very much with somebody huh on a what on a everything bagel i eat that that's all i have all day i'm fucking doing two podcasts after this you fucking assholes i need sustenance that's a very fat guy i think it's the only thing i ate today yeah it really is it's the only thing i ate a pizza and wings combo i called dude i remember i remember at the first he's like dude i'm starving i haven't eaten all day i went that's about six hours in fact i landed because you're counting back yeah i was like damn you're right we were on bleaker street i love that um anyway that was what i would say you're not don't feel superior don't be one of those fat guys that starts lecturing other fat people about it and you it's tough when you do first i remember when i i you when you first kind of lose it you are you do don't you don't realize how hard how long life is in this journey yeah the struggle is true that's like yeah i just cut out grains yeah like it's like that easy it's true it's true you hit the perfect timing of mind state or you know willpower metabolism all this stuff to make it not to say it was easy but to make it easier and by the way i am proud of you that's No one is saying what you did is not impressive. But don't be a jerk. And you should be proud of yourself, but don't take it out on fat people that have worse food addiction problems or metabolic problems or diabetes or whatever the fuck than you do. That's all I would say. It is very impressive, and you and your wife should be proud of yourselves for cutting out drinking a 30-pack together every day. And also remember, he did come in second to his wife, who lost 70. That is true. That is true. Actually, you're a fucking piece of shit. I'm impressed by your fucking wife. Next question, Eldis. Hey, Stavi, Eldis, esteemed guest, first-time caller, long-time listener. Long story short, I am a plumber in the South, licensed plumber. Beautiful. I do okay. Money's fine. But recently there is a surge in a specific type of job that people are looking for. It basically pays 3X what I'm making now. And that job happens to be at data centers. It's a very hot topic in my area about voting him in, voting him out. Here's what you do. Protests going on. Here's what you do. You build them shitty. You take the money and you build them faulty. You're like the guy who, when he built the Death Star, put a little square that if Luke Skywalker shot it, the whole thing exploded. Put in a little square so that one rock thrown right, hit at it, explodes the whole data center. Take their money and make it so that it fucking is destroyed. - Is that really what's going on where they're like, obviously the data center needs plumbers to help build it, right? - I guess, I don't know. - But they're paying more than- - Well, they have to 'cause it's evil and they're bankrupt. I mean, they're fucking up our natural resources. And it's like, it's kind of the Riyadh of plumbing jobs. - I know it's a hub, I don't know anything about it. - They're so, I mean, it's like, it's the most, it's like, they're building data centers. They're building data centers that are fucking up, you know, they're taking up too much water. They're fucking up the environment. Some communities have like, there's like a buzzing noise that makes it in, you can't even live in this neighborhood anymore. They fucked up the water. I mean, there's so many other things. And we haven't even gotten into what this is being used for, which is probably comes back to like fucking Palantir and all these things that are spying on us, right? That's why we have, what do they need all that data for? What data are they putting in the fucking data centers? It's the shit they're stealing from us. - My Instagram posts. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - It's like his formerly fat wife's new bikini pictures. But- - Listen, I think you gotta do it. You're in this- - Hold on, let's let him finish. And no, that's fucking insane. Finish up. - I'm voting him in, voting him out. Protests going on and I'm torn because I understand that they're problematic. There's a lot of misinformation on both sides about them. - Oh, brother. Misinformation on both sides. One side is corporate propaganda and the other side is, hey, I'd love fucking clean drinking water, what the fuck are you? This guy's already gonna do it. He's fucking bought the property. - He's already did it. He's calling you from his new cell phone. Keep going. - But yeah, I would just like to get your opinion on whether I should take the blood money or whether I should stay true and just see where these data centers go and maybe give it a while before checking back in. Thanks, love you. - Well, listen, there's no, this will in a year or two be, these will be, hopefully if there's any justice, these will be being torn down in a year or two. Now is the time to do it because public opinion hasn't, - Fully turned. - Fully, isn't fully, - Still up for debate. - It's still up for debate. - It feels. - I mean, I guarantee you, when you say there's misinformation on both sides, the amount of money people are spending to put pro data center information out there versus anti, I think you're gonna find a much, I think you're gonna see who's actually propagandizing what. Obviously, I would say, are you making a good living right now? If you are, don't do it, is my perspective. If you're, look, I'm not gonna judge anyone for having to do something fucked up to take their family out of poverty or whatever, right? Like if you're broke, whatever, obviously it's like, I mean, that's how the fucking, that's how America works. How does our military work? We keep so many fucking people in poverty that they have to sign up to kill fucking brown children overseas, or you know what I mean? It's like you put a gun to people's heads and make them be evil, right? Is the gun to your head, is my point. If the gun's not up to your head. - It's not up to you to his head today, but it's also like, in that blue collar life, I mean, I come from it. - I get it, me too. - It's not guaranteed. It's like, yeah, hey, I had three good years. I could be destitute in five. - Yeah. - So it's like, that's where I'm coming from. Like, if you can do it, if this guy was like, hey, I work for whatever, it's a pretty stable job. I make X amount a year. I don't need to do it. - Right. - But if your income can fluctuate. - Sure, I would say if you are, if you feel like you are at a good, good place and this would be like a crazy amount of money, I guess like, the point is you would be doing something bad. There's no way around that. You would. - But he's putting it in the toilets. It's not like, I understand what you're saying, but it's like, it's not, first of all, it's going out. - Somebody put the toilets in the fucking Nazi, in fucking camps. - I think they're slightly different. - No, no, honest, but what I'm saying is, where do we put the, where do we draw the line of something that is fundamentally destroying our, possibly could destroy our society? If somebody's paying you three times, it's not fucking good. There's no way. - I'm not making a case. I'm not saying it's good. - I'm just saying you are doing something bad. I just think there's no way around. - That's fair. - There's no way around the fact that there is some, there is a moral component here. It's okay. And by the way, if you need to do it, I won't judge you. Right? That's all my point is. And I get it. My dad was a fucking, you know, we were, my dad was a carpenter who, we had some fucking horrible years. - Sure. - And I bet you if in 1990 fucking four, when they're, you know, they want to build a fucking super max prison that black teenagers are going to go to, and they offer my dad a crazy contract to do it, he would have had to take it to put, 'cause we were fucking poor. - On a beat on a Monday morning. - Right? Yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. - My dad would have done it. He would have blown all the money in a year. He'd be like, "That was the retirement." - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever you want, I do for free. Put the block in jail, yes. I do it, I give you money back. But like- - I do think, I'm just saying, I think there's shit, obviously it's a moral, there's a moral compass connected to it. I like, I think if he was like, hey, I'm putting in, some different kind of system, other than a toilet and a fucking hand sink. - No, but that's, it's still infrastructure necessary for them to run. And sure, maybe the fucking Nazi camp is, but there's somebody putting toilets in ice camps right now and he's not, I guess that's not what he's saying, but I would say that these fucking data centers are, I just think it's fucking evil. You're just- - I got you. - Big tech right now is completely like, the path we're on is so fucked that it's just, there's something to think about. Go ahead, Mr. Foley. - Who's Palantine? - Yeah, I really don't know. - Don't worry about it, sweetheart. - I like this, I have to say, this is the first time I've seen this side of you, this passion. - It's just, yeah, yeah. And I just have to say that we are at a point right now- - He's a real commie. - No, in our, yeah, I mean- - Get him! - Yeah, you're like, I'm not a commie, I am a, you know, social, I think we need to- - It's a nice red shirt you got there. - Yeah, I know. I'm not a- - I like to see your passion about it. - I'm not a patriot like you guys. I'm not selling out to big tech so that I can get a fucking above ground pool three months faster. You got me there. - That's Raytheon, folks. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - That's our new ad deal. - We're all data center all the time. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. Are you garbage? Sponsored by the IDF. Anyway, I think, Israel Defense Force, guys, just to let you know. - I thought it was something. - Anyway. - I thought it was that shop in the mall. When you shoot the paintball. - FYE. - I'm talking about Spencer's. - Anyway. - Listen, the guy's gotta take the money. What are we doing here? And you think those are gonna get taken down in a year? Yeah, right. This place is gonna look like Skynet. - Yeah, but that's the thing. They have to pay for, they have to- - Who drinks water anyway? - Yeah, you're right, you're right. You're right, everything's just Mountain Dew now. All I'm saying is, if you have to take it, I'm not, I'm obviously not judging anybody for having to do something for their family to survive. You are offered no, in our society, people are offered really bad choices, and you just have to do what it takes to survive. I get that, right? That's all I'm saying is, if you don't need it, if you're doing fine, even if, and you make a good point. If blue collar, it's like if you're a small business owner, it fluctuates. If you're having a tough year, if you don't have shit put aside, it's okay if you have to do it. If you don't have to do it, don't do it is my point. - Well, I get that. I get, listen, if you, it's easy to make a decision when you have a bunch of money in the bank. I totally, I understand that. - Yeah. - And from, but at the same time, I think he is in this kind of gray area where it's like, it could be beneficial. I'm doing okay. - It'd be huge. - It could be beneficial. - I don't know. - It is, you know. - Make three times what you make in a year. - I mean, I think that's why he's struggling with it. And he, he shows to have a pretty good moral compass if he is going, I'm not sure what's right. - All I'm saying is, I agree with you guys, and all I'm saying is he has to make that distinction. - 100%. Only he can do it. - And I will tell you. - I would have done it for two times. - Yeah. - Like I fucking, I, look, we don't take gambling money anymore. Like on Comptown, we were fucking doing, you know, mybookie.ag, like the most off-brand shit. 'Cause yeah, we needed the shit to get going, right? And when this, when this podcast started, I didn't realize how fucked up gambling was gonna get. And the first year we had some gambling ads. Now I think it's completely out of control and that they're taking advantage of how fucked people are. And they're basically just, they're gambling too much 'cause they, everyone needs a fucking way out, right? Desperation makes you do fucked up things. - Just so I know what you're talking about. you say gambling sites, you're talking about sportsbooks. Reap that out. Don't let that fucking cocksucker get an extra couple fucking bucks on his deal. I know what I'm saying is it should make you feel bad to take data center money. Is the trade-off. Which I think he's struggling with. Is the trade-off. And all you have. And the calculus you have to do is will the data center. Does that. Do you need it more than it will make you feel bad? That's all. People have to do fucked up things for money to feed their families. I get it. Of course. Like people, you know, it's like whatever. That could put his kids through college or something like that, you know? Maybe. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know how different it'll be. I don't know. Get him a couple of jet skis or something like that. Yeah, exactly. That's probably. Get a fucking $80,000 pontoon boat. That's probably more where we're headed. But that is my only point is that like just think about it, make a decision, and I err on the side of don't fucking support data centers. This is something that is completely fucking our country up. And if something is too good to be true, there's a reason. That's all. There is never money at that level with no catch. That just doesn't exist. So anyway, good luck, buddy. Don't do it if you can not do it is my advice to you. Look at this. Look at you, Stabi. That's right. How about something fun to go out on little LD? Sure. He's an update. Remember the Rufat episode someone called in? They had a co-worker from New Zealand who was like 60 who gave preferential treatment to patrons with big titties. I don't, but that's awesome. That's awesome. Yeah, yeah. Well, here's an update on that guy. Hey, Stabi. They worked at a bar, right? Yeah. This is an update, actually. So I was a caller that called in who works at a wine bar with like a horny New Zealand guy. And you guys call me gay a bunch. That's pretty funny. So it was about he just gets like hypnotized. Like he gets locked into women's big ass titties. And like the big thing is that he would like hold up the line like real bad like while he was doing it. Hold up the line. Send this guy to the data centers. Let him fuck it up. You were right. I was like, what the, why do I care so much? And so you know what? I stopped caring. And you know what? I even leaned in myself. And I'll tell you what. I'm a dirtbag too. It's awesome. Is that what he said? Tell you what. It's awesome. Okay. But that being said, I just want to update you about him. He is getting deported. He is going back to New Zealand. He basically like decided to be like a parking attendant. And like for like our lot. And like there was like a handicapped guy that was parking in the handicapped spot. And he like wanted to, he like got in his head that the guy was like frauding. Oh my God. Oh my God. Handicapped. He did a, he did a citizen's arrest because he thought he had a counterfeit placard. You're not retarded. So he blocked him from getting out of his car, which is illegal. It's also illegal to like ask people to show you your handicap thing. And then the guy threatened to kill him. That was one thing. And then there was a time where he thought a customer's dog was biting him. It wasn't. And he body slammed the dog to the ground. This guy's nuts. Yeah, he's back in New Zealand. There you go. There you go. I'm safe. Christ. That's fucking awesome. Listen, not everybody who loves big titties acts like that. No. I just want to come out as a big titty lover. That's a state on the community. I love dogs and handicapped people. Me too. Have you worked with anybody? Who's the most like insane coworker you've ever had? Is there one that looks. Is that a fucking serious question? Him. What the fuck? Hello. All right. We're not going to do better than that. Guys, thank you so much. Thank you, brother. I love every time you're on. I love you. It's one of my favorite pods to do. I can't wait. I have already done AYG, as we already know. It's huge. And it was a blast, as always. We love you, buddy. I love you guys. Tell Ian I say hello. Tell your landlord, Mr. Finance, I say hello. And watch the special. Yes. On our YouTube page. On our YouTube page. Check it out. Please keep running up Uncle Stav on Netflix and Tires on Netflix, which you can see me and Foley did some great work on this season. We love you, and we will see you next week. Bye-bye. Peace.
