Hello everyone, back again on the "Bahasa Indonesia" podcast with Winda. This podcast can be heard on Spotify, YouTube, and many other platforms. In this episode, I want to tell you about the good and bad life in the city, especially Jakarta. I've been living in Jakarta for almost 6 months. I've been used to living here, but there are still some things that I don't like. I've started to be used to the fact that I've been living in Jakarta for a long time. The way I live is fast and everything is moving. Since I was in Jakarta, I feel more productive. Maybe because of that, I often make new episodes on this podcast. Even though I'm tired or not feeling well, my ideas and inspirations always come. So every Saturday and Sunday, I go to the cafe to work on the podcast. Well, because of that, I rarely rest. Since I'm in Jakarta, I want to find time to rest, it's hard. Because everywhere I go, I want to go to one place to another place to eat a lot of time. Especially in November, it's raining season, so it's getting worse. Luckily, my workplace is nearby. I've been walking for 20 minutes and it's already here. But I still have to go to the physiotherapist after work, 2-3 times a week. Well, the place of the physiotherapist is actually only 10 kilometers from home. I have to get on the car for 30 minutes already. But this is Jakarta, so every time I go, I eat more than 1 hour. The problem is, it always rains when I go home. So because of the rain, I eat more than 2 hours in the house. So to go to the physiotherapist, I eat more than 4-5 hours per day. Every time I go home, I'm so tired. I immediately go to bed. I can't watch or read my book anymore. Well, Jakarta is really complete. There is nothing, starting from health, food, to entertainment. Everything is in Jakarta. But if I want to go there for half a day, I think it's better to rest at home. Well, if you want to try food, you can order online. Well, it's different, the taste. If it's been wrapped, it doesn't taste good. So finally, I just eat that. Rest again, the important thing is health. Well, talking about health, I always try to take care of my health. But since living in Jakarta, my body feels lighter. Not as strong as before. Maybe because the air is hot, plus pollution. The cities I visited before, the air is clean. Like Salatiga and Cuhai in China. That's why my body often drops. Not as strong as before. In my opinion, it's just the taste. Taking care of health and health. But not as strong as before. So I've tried to stop taking care of my health. I didn't go to the gym for a week. Well, because I don't have a diet, I feel like I'm falling. Well, maybe Jakarta is just for me to find an experience. In Jakarta, there are a lot of choices. We can learn and grow. But if we talk about Gaji, in fact, Gaji in Jakarta is not too high. Let's talk about UMR. Regional minimum treatment. Which is the smallest Gaji in the city. But UMR is usually just a big business. For small businesses, they usually don't follow the UMR rules. So Gaji has a lot of UMR. Including me. UMR in Jakarta is indeed higher than other cities. 5 million rupiah. And other cities in the area of Jabodetabet. Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tanggerang, Bekasi. Also less or less the same. About 5 million. If compared to smaller cities, for example, Salatiga. UMR is only 2.5 million rupiah. Wow, only half of Jakarta. If so, it's better to work in Jakarta. It's good to have a high Gaji. No, it's not. Because the life expectancy is much higher. In my opinion, high Gaji in Jakarta is not compared to the life expectancy. In Jakarta, everything is more expensive. Since I live in Jakarta. Many people use their Gaji until the end. Only to maintain life and everyday needs. In Jakarta, I feel more bored. My money is almost over. Even though I don't buy anything. I only buy daily needs. My life expectancy is also not higher. It's still the same as before, when I was in Salatiga and China. There are still other people who, since living in Jakarta. Not only the Gaji is higher. But the Gansi is also higher. Because Gansi doesn't want to lose to other people. And doesn't want to leave the trend. Because Gansi is a person who is very bored. Because he wants to join. For example, in his friendship circle. All have a million branded bags. He can also join. Or maybe, he can play with padels. Padels are the trend in Indonesia. Padels are not cheap hobby. In my opinion, sometimes things like this can't be prevented. If we live in a metropolitan city. For example, people who go to work often continue to eat. And can finish hundreds of thousands per person. Not yet, there are those who continue to bar or nightclub. Well, once you go, one person can finish millions of rupees. Well, I actually don't know. I don't fit, I don't feel comfortable living in Jakarta. Especially, for a long time. In my opinion, life in Jakarta is just to add experience and learn. Not to build a life, especially for the family. So I plan to live in Jakarta only for 2 or 3 years. To train my strength and my mental. One day, I really want to live in a small city. And more relaxed, like Salatiga. But not Salatiga either. The important thing is to live calm. So that the life is less. The air is fresh and clean. Listeners, how are you? Do you agree with what I said? Do you prefer to live in a big city, a small city, or maybe in a village? I want to hear different opinions. Honestly, I still don't understand this topic. Why there are people who live in cities like Jakarta? For example, when I went to work a few months ago, there was one person who resigned, taking care of himself from work. And moved to Jogja. Well, until now, I still buy a lot. If he was a fast person, so he didn't like super slow life in Jogja. I think in my heart, oh my god, a calm life, living close to the mountain, in the house behind it, yellow green, that's my dream.
