# 187 7 AI services boomer businesses are BEGGING for

The speaker outlines seven AI service offers that are in high demand from "boomer businesses" (older, established companies), each with a clear "what, why, build, and price" breakdown. The first offer, an AI assessment, is a paid diagnostic (45-minute call plus a report) that identifies 3-7 off-the-shelf AI tools to save time or money, priced at $999, and serves as a lead-in to other services. The second, an AI concierge, is a monthly retainer ($1,000-$2,000) where the provider works with the business owner on Zoom to implement AI, primarily by converting manual processes into Claude skills, achieving hourly rates over $1,000. Third, process redesign fixes broken workflows (e.g., cutting a 25-step process to 10) before automation, priced at $3,000-$5,000 per process. Fourth, simple automation builds use Zapier or Make.com for concrete, repeatable tasks (e.g., onboarding flows), costing $1,000-$3,000. Fifth, knowledge systems involve creating custom GPTs or Claude projects trained on client data (e.g., a business broker answering buyer questions), with a $3,000 baseline. Sixth, custom workflows include bespoke skills or templates for complex tasks that require judgment, ideal for clients already using AI. Finally, the speaker teases a full implementation offer and a retainer model at the top of the ladder, ensuring recurring revenue. Throughout, the speaker emphasizes selling value based on time saved, not hours worked, and offers templates and community resources to help others replicate these offers.

These are seven AI service offers that boomer businesses are begging for right now. I sell every single one of these before in the past anywhere from $1000 for an AI assessment up to $1000 an hour for an AI concierge retainer and five additional offers that you can sell for $3 to $10,000 or more. I'm going to be breaking down all seven. I'm going to be showing you why people are buying them, how to build each one the exact price to charge. And if you stick around to the end, I'm going to show you the full implementation offer at the very top of the ladder. Plus, the retainer model that keeps clients paying you every single month, so enjoy and we'll dive in right now. So the first offer in our arsenal is going to be an AI assessment. Now, there's a couple of reasons why this is the absolute best offer to start with. This is kind of the foundation of every other one that we're going to cover for a number of reasons. One, you don't need any experience or expertise to sell an AI assessment because all we're going to do here is basically tell them what they need to do. We're not building anything with an AI assessment. We're not implementing anything. We're not automating. We're just uncovering opportunities. So we're going to go through the what, the why, the build, and the price for every single one of these. So when it comes to AI assessments, the what is a paid diagnostic? So we're going to be doing a 45 minute interview with the business owner to uncover their bottlenecks. We're just going to ask some specific questions around, you know, what are they doing manually? Where does work tend to pile up? What are the opportunities for AI to come in and help? And then the deliverable in this case is a full report showing them three to seven just off the shelf AI tools that they can implement immediately to save time or money. So that is the, that's the what at the end of the day is the discovery call and the report deliverable. Now, I've actually open sourced the exact report template that I use to deliver these assessments. So we're going to put the link to that in the description and in the show notes or you can go to audit template.ai and download that template for free. And that's the exact one that I use to deliver these assessments for $1,000. So the why here, like why would somebody pay for this? Because think about how many business owners are soaked in the weeds of their existing business. They're working 50, 60, 80 hours a week. They don't have time to figure out what specific AI tools are a fit for their business and their industry. So this report is meant to cut through the noise and clarify exactly where they can use AI and then quantify the ROI that they're going to be able to get from these tools. And this is before they even spend a dollar on the tools themselves or on the build, right? So we're just giving them a roadmap. We're kind of just giving them a prescription, almost like a doctor. So the build itself, how do we build this offer and how do we fulfill it? So on the call with the business owner, the 45 minute call we have an AI note taker sitting in on the call, taking the transcript. I like to use an AI note taker called Fathom. So once we're done with the call, we take that transcript, we feed it into Claude and then Claude will identify the exact pain points the business owner mentioned and then go out on the internet and find the tools that fit their pain points exactly from there. We can build a report in a tool like gamma or Claude design. Claude design is what I use these days to build this report. And then from there, we do a 30 minute review call with the business owner where we're just screen sharing their report and going line by line saying, Hey, this is the problem that we found. This is the tool that can fix it. And it's pretty much that simple. And then from there, we ask, do you want our help in implementing what we found, which leads into all the other six services that we're going to be covering here today? Now as far as how we price the assessment, I like to, or I guess when I started, I was pricing it at $499 just to get my foot in the door, get some of those testimonials. Today we sell this exact assessment for $999. And the beauty of this assessment, the reason this is the first one we're covering is 50, 60%, sometimes even more of clients actually convert into implementation, which are some of the offers that we're going to cover next. Now again, reminder, go pick up that report template audit template, AI or in the description. If you want the exact one that I use to deliver these reports, it's plug and play. It's super easy to implement. All right. Next we've got our AI concierge offer. Now this is my personal favorite offer. This is actually where I'm currently making the majority of my personal income is with this offer right here. So what is an AI concierge? AI concierge is it's a done with you, monthly subscription or retainer. However you want to phrase it, where we are actually sitting side by side with the business owner on Zoom, of course, and installing AI into their business with them. Right. So we're actually telling them where to point, where to click, what to prompt, how to implement AI. And we're doing like 99% of what we're doing with them is helping them use clawed clawed co-work and turning their manual processes into clawed skills. Now if you want me to do like an in depth video on how we actually build the clawed skills for business owners, comment skills below because that's a request I've gotten before in the past that people want to see that like exactly how we build the skills, then comment skills below and I'll do a deep dive on how to actually build skills because that's literally the whole engagement. We're looking at their manual processes and we're turning them into clawed skills. Now why is this something that people pay for because these small business owners, they're not big enough to have like a full time AI employee in house or expert on their team. So you're kind of coming in as their de facto AI expert, helping them install the tools, helping them automate their workflows, helping them learn how to use clawed co-work. And the beauty of this engagement is the value actually compounds monthly. So while we're charging them anywhere from 1 to 2K per month for the service, they're not just getting value one time. It's like what we're building in month one is compounding and what we're building in month two, month three, so on and so forth. Now the build process itself consists of an intake form that we build in Jot form and that intake form, we take that intake form and we have a clawed skill that reads the intake form and then turns that information into six context files that we then take and put into a clawed project specific to that client. So that way any time we're doing any work for that client or any fulfillment work for that client, we're doing so inside their specific clawed project. So that way clawed has full context on everything that that client is doing, everything about their business, everything that we're working on together. Now that intake form, the skill that turns the intake form into the project files as well as we've got three additional skills that intake the entire that automate the entire admin side of the AI concierge process so that all we need to do is show up on the two 45 minute calls each month with the client, all those skills intake form templates, etc. We actually include inside our AI operator academy community in school. So if you want this, basically the AI concierge and the AI assessment business in a box, all the skills and deliverables associated with that, join us inside AI operator academy. The link is going to be in the description or in the show notes or you can go to a.o.a. community and join us there. We've got a ton of people inside the community having a ton of success selling AI assessments and AI concierge because we give them this entire business in a box. Now again, the build process is relatively straightforward on the calls. Like I said, we're just turning their manual processes into cloud skills and we're doing that on two 45 minute calls per month. So we are pricing this. I'm currently pricing this at $2,000 per month. I have clients paying that much and that means that if I'm doing two 45 minute calls a month, I'm making over $1,000 an hour. Now when people are starting out as AI concierges, they're usually charging $1,000 a month. So their effective hourly rate is going to be roughly $750 per hour. Once you're charging $1,500 a month, you are making $1,000 an hour. If you're charging $2,000 a month, then you're making roughly, I think it's like $1,250 an hour. The reason that we're able to price this high is because we're not anchoring on the hours that we're working. That's irrelevant. What we're anchoring on is the actual hours that we're saving our client. A great example of this, one of my clients, he's the CEO of a large Fintech company. We built a Claude skill during our AI concierge engagement that automates the process of him sending a company wide memo. It does all of the research for him so that he could just have to essentially give a quality control pass to the memo, make a couple of edits and click send. This is a process that was taking him two hours per week previously and we've gotten that down to about 10 to 15 minutes. So this is a guy whose time is worth thousands of dollars per hour. So we basically saved him thousands of dollars per week permanently by implementing that during our engagement. So he's more than happy to pay me $2,000 a month to find opportunities like that. That's exactly what an AI concierge does and that's exactly what we teach people to become inside AI operator academy, help them start their AI concierge business. The next offer that we can sell that I've sold myself is a process redesign. This one is super simple at its core. This one actually has nothing to do with AI. It has nothing to do with automation, but it feeds into the AI step or the automation step because what this offer is, it's literally just fixing a broken process. So we're going to have a look at the process. We're just mapping one broken workflow, stripping out the waste and redesigning it around AI. So a good example of this, and this is an exact one that I've sold myself, is we had a business owner come to us. He was an e-commerce seller. He sold primarily through Amazon. And he had a workflow that was taking him about 10 hours per week, and it was his process of analyzing his advertising spend through Amazon. So when he came to us, this was a super manual process. It was taking him 10 hours a week. It involved a bunch of different steps, like looking at different tools, pulling data here, copying and pasting all across different tools. And so what would have been actually a bad thing for us to do is just automate that process. Because it was a broken process. Why would we automate a broken process? That's just going to speed up inefficiency. So instead, what we sold him first was actually a full redesign of the process. For $3,500, where we told him, hey, we're going to fix this process first. And just the fixing of the process is $3,500. We're not going to automate anything. We're not going to add any AI. We're just going to take your 25 step manual process and cut it to 10 steps. And that was $3,500. And he paid for it because there was value in that. So we were able to cut that manual process from 10 hours a week down to about an hour per week, which then teed up the second engagement to actually automate that process, which is an entirely separate engagement. So again, there are think of like customer onboarding flows or proposal generation flows or all of these different workflows that a bunch of these businesses have that are incredibly manual. And before we actually automate it, we've got to fix the process itself, cut out the waste and make it a process that's ready to be run by AI. That's exactly what we're doing here. So what's great about process redesign is when we do the AI assessment, it's a really good upsell into the process redesign. So the assessment might uncover a process that's bleeding hours that there isn't necessarily like an off the shelf AI tool that can easily fix. So we can prescribe a process redesign as an upsell after the assessment where, you know, just fixing one process would pay for the entire engagement. That's kind of the ROI that we anchor on. So the build process for a process redesign is interviewing the business or the process owner figuring out how are they doing the process today, document the current state and then design the future state, right? What the ideal future state looks like with the waste cut out. And then the deliverable in this case is the the current state process map and the after state process map and then a build plan for how we would automate that using AI. So basically the deliverable is the blueprint for how to automate and then if they want to hire us for how to automate it, that's an entirely separate engagement. So we've priced process redesigns before anywhere in the three to five K range. This is a fixed price engagement. We scope it to one specific process. And if they have multiple processes for us to fix, then that's going to be multiple different projects. Therefore, multiple different fees. So the fourth thing that we can build and sell are just simple automation builds, right? When you think of automation builds, think of things like Zapier or Make.com, these tools that have been around for 10 plus years at this point, they still have relevance. They still are great. When the process has a very concrete input and a very concrete output, it's going to happen the same way every time. That's where workflow automation tools like Zapier and Make.com really work well. As well as when the process involves off the shelf tools that easily connect to a Zapier or Make.com. So a great example in this case that we've sold in the past is we had a wedding venue business. They had an onboarding flow for new customers when a new customer joined or when a new customer paid their invoice, their project manager had to go into Asana, which is a project management tool. And basically duplicated a bunch of templates and manually assigned a bunch of owners to each process, but it was the same input and the same output every time. She was doing the same exact duplication effort for every new client. They were getting about, I think, three to five new clients per month. And it was taking her about 30 minutes per client. So this was a two to four hour per month process, about one hour per week. This is an employee that they were paying, you know, 80 or $100,000 per year. And as they scale their business, this is something that's going to take the work required is going to scale with it. So we sold this simple process automation to them for, I think it was about $1,500. And that took their project manager out of that workflow entirely and 100% automated it. So that a year from now when they have, you know, 10, 15, 20 new clients per month, it's not taking up more time of their project manager. It's actually taking her no time at all. So again, the input was simple and clear. The output was simple and clear. It was the same process every time. It's just a fast, visible win where you get hours back in week one and the behavior change required from the team is zero. So that's an example of just like a simple workflow automation build and how we actually scope that and how we build that is we take the top manual task from the assessment. So we ran an assessment for them first. Then we simply built the workflow in Zapier and then we recorded a walk through video and a reference document to explain to them, Hey, here's how this works. Here's how the process works. If anything gets stuck in the future and then we hand that off to them and from there they were good to go, right? And so the pricing here, we can usually price anywhere from, you know, one to three K if it's a pretty simple workflow. If it's a more in depth workflow with multiple steps, you could obviously price more than that. But typically this is going to be like a one to three thousand dollar deal. This is the easiest here to sell other than an assessment. And it's the best entry point if you're new to AI or if you're new to automation. The next offer is what we call a knowledge system, right? So this is either like a custom GPT or a cloud project trained on the clients, content or data for a very specific use case. So a good example here is we have a client who's a business broker and every time he goes to list a new business for sale, he was getting four to 500 emails from interested buyers and every buyer was asking the same five to 10 questions. So he was spending probably one or two hours per day just responding to these buyer questions with the same copy paste email templates. And so what we decided to do was actually create a custom GPT trained on the marketing package for that specific listing so that when buyers had questions, they could just talk to the custom GPT instead of sending our client an email. So when we tested this with him, instead of getting 500 emails, he got about 10 emails. And the buyer and the seller both said that this was one of the most positive experiences they've had with the broker because they were able at any time 24/7 to get any answers about the listing that they needed by talking with the custom GPT. So that's an example of a knowledge system. In the why in this case is pretty obvious, but it's like, again, if you've got, if you're get constantly getting the same questions or in the case of our business broker, this is a repeatable process where you're going to be asked the same things over and over again, it's much easier to create a knowledge system where the team or your clients or whoever can query the system instead of interrupting the client or interrupting the owner. Now the build in this case was relatively straightforward. We just collected the marketing documents from the broker, right? Any transcripts from him with the seller. And then we structured that into context files and we loaded that into a custom GPT. You could do the same thing inside a cloud project and then it's a matter of just training the stakeholders. In this case, the potential buyers that, hey, when you have a question, you talk to the custom GPT. You don't send my client, Ron, an email. It's that simple. So the price in this case, we charge them $3,000 for that build. That's usually the baseline for what I would charge for a knowledge system because it's so high leverage and it compounds over time, right? You might save the client two hours and month one, but you're going to save them two hours and month two and month three, so on and so forth. And as his needs scale, it's going to save him more time over time. So 3K is kind of the baseline for what I would charge for a knowledge system. Next would be any sort of custom workflow. So this is going to be things like custom prompts or templates or in 2026 at this point, especially this is going to be something like a custom skill, a Claude skill or a codec skill that turns a manual process into a one click operation. So this is for, this is ideal for clients who, you know, they've got a process and it's not necessarily a straightforward input and output where we could set up a like a Zapier automation or make.com automation. This is for those workflows that, you know, are specific to the business, their proprietary, maybe they require a little bit of judgment. Well, that's where creating Claude skills is a really good solution. So this is really ideal for clients who are already using AI in some capacity. You know, they're already using Claude or they're already using chat GPT. And this is an offer that's going to take them from dabbling in AI to really being systematized with AI. They're going to be able to get consistent output from any team member. using skills built around their existing workflows. So, you know, a good example here is one of my clients, we built her a Cloud skill that automates her podcast production workflow. So, for example, previously before we built this skill, every time she recorded a podcast, she was going in to chat GVT and pasting in the transcript and asking for a LinkedIn post. And then she was taking that same transcript, starting a new chat and asking for an email to send to her list. And she was basically taking that same transcript and doing four or five different things with it inside chat GVT, one thing at a time. And even though she was using AI, the full process was taking her 30 to 45 minutes per episode just to get the output that she needed. So, we actually took that process and turned it into not just one Cloud skill, but a few different Cloud skills. And then we created what we call an orchestrator skill to where she only had to run that orchestrator skill and Cloud would then run all these subskills under it one after the other and give her all her output that she needed just by running that one skill in about five minutes. So, if she's doing one podcast per week, which she is, then that workflow was saving her about 45 minutes per week, every week as long as she's running that podcast. So, that's an example of what I call a custom workflow, something really valuable to a client who is already using AI, but now we turn their AI use into a much more systemized process. So, how we actually build this is we audit how they're using AI today, and we look for opportunities where they're using the same prompt or they're doing the same workflow inside of AI, but they haven't yet turned it into a skill. And then we simply take that process and we turn it into a skill, right? And then once we built the skill, then we train the team on how they run that skill and when to run that skill and how to edit that skill. So, if things change in the future, they're not having to come back to me to help fix the skill, we can empower them to edit the skill easily and adapt it to however their workflow changes in the future. So, for a custom workflow, we would price anywhere from three to $5,000. This is a more of a fixed price opportunity, and this is where we're gonna price per the actual workflow library, right? So, if we're building, you know, in the example of my client, four or five different skills, the price is for those skills, right? We're not pricing per prompt, we're not pricing per hour, we're pricing based on a fixed deliverable, and in this case, usually that's going to be a skill or a set of skills. And then lastly, we have the full implementation, right? So, this is kind of the full package, which in my mind consists of everything that we've talked about thus far, as kind of like a mix and match, right? So, there's some clients who maybe they need three-cloth skills and a knowledge system and a couple of workflow automation built in Zapier, or maybe they need, you know, two months of AI concierge, and they need a couple of called skills and they need a knowledge system. Bottom line, a full implementation is where we kind of mix and match any of the offers that we mentioned previously. And this is where we can charge, you know, five, 10,000, or more for that full suite of work. And this is where we really get into the weeds as far as like, what do they actually need and then getting out and scoping that and pricing that appropriately, which is why the range is so big here. So, you know, why this is important? And this is an offer that works great for that business owner who's very AI forward, and they want a lot of their operations to run without them in the loop, or at least without them having to approve every step. So this is gonna be like the biggest transformation out there, the biggest ROI, which is why you can charge the most amount of money. This is for the business owner who wants almost like an AI operating system across certain divisions in their business. Now, the build process here is usually we don't start with a full implementation. Usually this is something that we kind of progress our way into. So if you're new to selling these services as well, and not start by pitching a full implementation, I would only want you to pitch a full implementation after you've done five to 10 smaller projects, and you're always going to want to scope from the assessment. So the assessment is always the baseline, which is why I say start with the assessment, and that'll pretty much tell you what to sell next. So once we've done an assessment, once we've sold five to 10 smaller projects in the past, so we have some experience, we kind of know what we're doing, we know what we're talking about, then we can build agents, or we can build AI operating system or full workflows for a business and sell it for five to $10,000 or more. Now, for a full implementation, not only are we going to charge five to 10K plus for the build, but we're also going to want to charge a monthly retainer to maintain that build. So this is typically going to be 10% of the build price as a monthly retainer, anywhere from 500 to $1,500 a month, just to maintain that system, and make sure it doesn't break, and to be on call when it does, to proactively fix it for the business owner, so they feel good about continuing to pay you that retainer every month. So again, to summarize the full implementation is just a mix and match of everything that we've discussed thus far, every business is going to be different as far as what they need, but this is kind of the highest rung of the ladder, and what we can charge the most for and therefore make the most money from. So I hope this video was helpful. Again, if you want to learn in particular how to sell AI assessments and AI concierge, which in my mind are the two not only easiest offers to sell, but also the easiest offers to fulfill on this list because they're very productized, then I invite you to join AI operator Academy. This is where we help people land their first AI assessment or AI concierge client in under 90 days, and if you don't, we refund every single dollar that you spend to join our community. FAQs

An AI assessment is a paid diagnostic where you interview a business owner for 45 minutes to uncover bottlenecks and deliver a report with 3-7 AI tools they can implement. It typically costs $999, though you can start at $499 to get testimonials.

The AI concierge is a monthly retainer where you work side-by-side with a business owner on Zoom for two 45-minute calls per month to install AI, like turning manual processes into Claude skills. Pricing ranges from $1,000 to $2,000 per month, with effective hourly rates from $750 to $1,250.

A process redesign fixes a broken workflow by mapping it, stripping waste, and redesigning it around AI, without automating anything. It's valuable because it cuts manual hours significantly, like reducing a 10-hour weekly process to one hour, and costs between $3,000 and $5,000 per process.

Simple automation builds use tools like Zapier or Make.com to automate processes with clear, consistent inputs and outputs, such as onboarding flows or data duplication. They cost $1,000 to $3,000 and are ideal for fast, visible wins with zero behavior change from the team.

A knowledge system is a custom GPT or Claude project trained on a client's data for a specific use case, like answering buyer questions for a business broker. It's priced at $3,000 as a baseline because it saves time repeatedly, such as reducing 500 emails to 10.

Custom workflows are tailored solutions like custom prompts, templates, or Claude skills that turn manual, judgment-based processes into one-click operations. They're ideal for clients already using AI, and pricing varies based on complexity, often starting higher due to the proprietary nature.
