# 185 I'm Starting an AI Agency from Scratch (Episode 1)
43m 54s
The speaker launches a four-episode series to demonstrate that anyone can build an AI services business from scratch, using only cold outreach and working no more than 60 minutes per day. The goal is to secure a first paying client—defined by actual payment received—without leveraging any existing audience or network. The target niche is tree services in Charlotte, North Carolina, chosen for their high-ticket, emergency-prone nature and lack of tech adoption. Backup niches include pressure washing, junk removal, and concrete companies. The offer is a simple $500 bundle: a hosted website, an AI lead intake agent that provides instant quotes, and a Google Business Profile cleanup. To streamline operations, five AI agents are built inside HyperAgent: a Prospector to scrape and clean leads, an Opener to draft outreach scripts, a SiteSmith to generate free websites as lead magnets, a Fulfiller to deliver paid services, and an Account Manager for ongoing maintenance at $100/month. Episode 1 focuses on building the Prospector agent and preparing the outreach foundation. Episode 2 covers sending 50 daily outreach attempts (texts and calls) and delivering lead magnets. Episode 3 demonstrates closing and fulfilling a sale. Episode 4 reveals results and gives away all agents for free via the HyperAgent marketplace. The speaker emphasizes that by focusing only on high-impact activities like outreach, anyone can land clients quickly, even with limited time.
I am going to absolutely destroy every excuse you've ever had around starting an AI services business because in this series I'm going to be starting a brand new AI services business from scratch to prove that if you do the right things for 60 minutes a day or less Landing clients is easy and fulfilling the service can be done by anyone even if you're non-technical I'm not going to be using my audience. I'm not going to be using my network I'm going to be doing 100% cold outreach and I can't work for more than 60 minutes a day That is the rule everything else is going to get done by AI agents while I'm not working I'm going to be running this whole thing using AI agents inside hyper agent Which is the sponsor of this series and they're giving you a thousand dollars of free credits at the link in the description And in the show notes so that you can run the exact same agents that I'm about to build so during the series I'm going to be giving away every prompt every script every template even the agents themselves Completely free so follow along and let's jump into episode one of four The purpose of this series is very simple. It is to prove to you beyond the shadow of a doubt that you watching this series Are 100% capable of landing an AI services client whether it's your first or whether it's your 100th Using the methods that I'm going to show you guys in this series now The most common complaint or objection that I get by far is look I know how to build the tools. I know how to fulfill the service But I don't know how to find clients It's everybody's biggest bottleneck this series is going to absolutely destroy that and I'm going to show you guys how step by step I'm going to be showing you everything that we're building every call that we make every text that we send By the end of this series it's going to be impossible for you to do what I do and not land clients So the purpose like we said is to watch me build an AI business from scratch This is going to be a four episode series We're going to see how many days it takes for me to land my quote-unquote first AI services client from 100% code outreach now the scoreboard in this case is going to be the days that it takes For me to actually land that first paying client now when I say paying client I don't mean like a verbal yes. I mean the payment is physically in my account I've sent the stripe invoice and they have paid the invoice that is when the day counter stops So we're going to see how many days it takes for us to collect our first payment And our constraints around the series is this has to be 100% code outreach So I'm not going to be using my audience. I'm not going to be using my network I'm not going to be I'm trying to make it as much of a one-to-one comparison to me and the average person in the audience So that anybody watching this there's no excuses left right everybody can do this because I'm going to be stripping away Every advantage that I would normally have the other constraint and I think this one is important as I can't work more than 60 minutes per day on the series and the reason that's important is because a lot of people watching this probably have full-time jobs This is a side hustle or you have kids or you have other obligations and I'm going to prove to you that if we just focus on the things that actually Move the needle which is outreach then we can get paying clients and accomplish what we want to accomplish And way less time than you would probably think we're not going to spend time Doing the stupid things that look good on paper, but don't actually make us money Right so how are we going to go about doing this? So we're going to be targeting a very specific niche. So I live in Charlotte, North Carolina We're going to be targeting first and foremost tree services for a couple of reasons For one Charlotte is a very we have a lot of trees right we're one of the most Tree dense cities in the country believe it or not So we have a lot of tree services Tree services are an industry that have not yet been Solidated by private equity. There's a lot of mom and pop operators It's a high ticket service the average tree service client is going to be multiple thousands of dollars This is something that has a lot of they get a lot of after hours inquiries a lot of emergency inquiries Where the person reaching out is going to hire the first person that picks up the phone Typically because again if a tree falls on your house or a tree falls on your yard You need somebody out there ASAP and the first person to get out there is typically the first one to get the deal So this is kind of the perfect storm for why tree services are going to be a great fit for what we're actually offering and most of them don't have websites Right a lot of them are mom and pop operators who have been doing things the same way forever who aren't thinking about AI and aren't Looking to or have not created the good website or web presence for themselves And if there aren't enough tree services that we uncovered during our research our backup niches are going to Be commercial pressure washers junk junk removal companies and concrete slash Driveway building companies again all blue collar services that Traditionally aren't very tech savvy, but offer a high ticket service where one additional client per month means thousands of dollars in additional revenue Now we're going to talk about so what's the actual offer that we're going to sell them? We're going to make this super simple right? We're not going to go and sell them some like crazy fancy automation or build some crazy agent to do a hundred different things for them We're going to be selling them a simple bundle that consists of a fully built and hosted website an AI lead intake agent So this is simply going to be a speed to quote form that sits on their website and provides an instant quote to the customer and then captures that information For them to then follow up with and a Google business profile cleanup service that is all we're going to be doing It's nothing fancy. It's something we can build very simply and We're going to be selling this for five hundred dollars flat now We could be charging way more than that, but the idea is if this fails It's not going to be because of the price we want this to be such a no-brainer offer and for the folks in the audience for this to be so obvious to them that they can do this that we're going to be pricing it basically had to give away price to get clients very quickly now the agent fleet that we're going to be building inside of hyper agent and now keep in mind right because the series is sponsored by hyper agent We're actually going to be packaging up every single one of these agents one by one and we're going to be giving them all away in Episode four right so that's your incentive where if you're tuning into episode one today Watch every episode in the series because on episode four we're going to be literally giving you guys away every agent that we build as part of the series that you can Copy and paste into your business to do exactly what I'm doing in the series We're going to be packaging them up in the hyper agent marketplace as a simple Download into your hyper agent account and then you can plug and play so we're going to make it super easy for you guys So the agents that we're going to be building for ourselves in the series That we're going to be giving away at the end our first and foremost the prospector agent right that's the one that we're going to be building today in Episode one Which is the agent that is going to scrape the internet to find us the leads right? It's basically the lead prospector and then it's going to clean the lead list So it's going to look at all the leads that it finds it's going to De-dupe any duplicate leads It's going to take the phone numbers of all the leads and make sure that we're only reaching out to mobile numbers It's going to basically do a lot of the heavy lifting around finding us the leads right super simple Very effective agent that you could literally package up this agent and sell it as a service if you wanted to right The second agent that we're going to be building is the opener agent So this is the agent that is going to write our scripts both our text message scripts that we're going to be sending to the leads via text message The call scripts that I'm going to be reading off of when I'm cold calling these These prospects and then any scripts that you know if I want to show up in person if we find a hot lead I'm going to show up at their door and I'm going to record the process of me doing that and I'm going to have the opener agent Actually write the script that I'm going to read when I show up in person at the door of these prospects and this Opener agent is also going to write any of the reply scripts as well So this opener agent think of it as like our setter agent. It's basically nurturing the lead from Closed outreach all the way to book sales call right and we're going to be of course like I said giving you guys all these agents So you can copy and paste into your hyper agent account next is going to be the site Smith So this is going to be the agent that actually builds the websites for the client right now you'll notice during the series We're actually going to be building the website up front and sending it to the client as a lead magnet, right? So we're that's kind of our outreach strategies like the opener is going to draft the text while the site Smith is building the site and our text to the lead is going to be something along the lines of hey This is obviously a very abbreviated version of the text, but it's going to be hey, you know I see you have no website. I built you a website. Here's the link check it out if you want it If you want me to install it for you, let me know like that's literally what we're going to be saying and the reason we can do that is because the Sitesmith is going to be just churning out these websites on autopilot very high quality websites and we're going to be giving them away to leads to prospects as a lead magnet So it's going to be a no-brainer like this is we're going to crush with this offer for sure Next is going to be the actual fulfiller agent So this is the agent that's going to deliver the paid engagement So this is the agent that once we have a paid invoice from a client is going to take that from paid invoice all the way to Services fully fulfilled right so this is the agent that is either going to you know Put the website up with the hosting company right make sure that it goes live for the client if If they choose the Google business profile cleanup service It's going to actually go through and clean up the Google business profile like it's going to fulfill the paid engagement a DZ so that we literally don't have to do anything except maintain the relationship with the client and even then The account manager agent which is something that we could sell as an upsell is Something that's going to keep the client website fresh right so this is our
sell opportunity. If we say to the client, "Okay, great. You're a paying client. Here's your website. We clean up your Google business page. Everything is there. Everything is done. But if you want us to maintain that for you, if you want us to keep the site fresh, whether that's with content or whether that's with updating the reviews, whatever that ends up being, we can do that. And that's going to be $100 a month. And if they say yes to that, then we are going to have the account manager agent handle all of that maintenance for them every single month from here on out. So like I said, in episode four, we're going to be packaging up all five of these agents and giving them to you guys for you to just basically import directly into your hyper agent account. So let's talk about what does each episode going to look like. So this episode that you're watching right now, this is episode one, in episode one, we are going to be building the outreach machine. So I'm going to show you step by step here in a couple of minutes, how we are going to build the prospector agent. So we're going to build it live on screen. I'm going to give you guys the prompts that I use to build the prospector agent. We're going to have the prospector agent build us a basically a CRM dashboard where we can track every one of our leads inside of hyper agent in the dashboard that the prospector agent built for us. I'm going to be showing you the exact scripts that I'm going to be using. And then we're going to have the prospector agent clean the list. Right. And so the milestone, the episode one milestone is going to be everything is completely ready to go for us to start doing outreach. So this is going to be that foundational work that's going to take us, you know, 20 to 30 minutes to do one time. And again, the agent is doing all of it. And then once that's done, we will start doing our outreach, which is the fun part of the series, which leads us into episode two. Right. Episode two is all about outreach and then creating and delivering the lead magnets. So when it comes to outreach, again, if my time constraint is 60 minutes per day spent on the series, that's going to allow me to send roughly, you know, not just 50 text, but I'd say 50 total outreach attempts per day, right? A mix of text messages and phone calls and delivering the free websites along with those and then doing follow up as well. So that's going to be all about episode two. And the end of episode two is going to be once we have the first sales call booked. So we might find that it takes us five, six, seven days to book a sales call or we might book one on day one, right? We don't know. But episode two is going to be all about outreach and lead magnet delivery. Episode three is going to be showing you guys a full paid engagement into end. Everything from we close the sale, we fulfill the sale, we tested the deliverables and we handed it off to the client. So that's going to be the full paid engagement. The milestone there is going to be we have the $500 invoice paid, the money is in our account or in our strike account and we stopped the actual day counter. So that is where we determine how many days it actually took us to finish the challenge, right? Whether it was four days or whether it was 23 days, we don't know. But that's going to give us the full results of the series. And then last but not least, episode four, that's the one you are absolutely going to want to tune in for because that's where we're going to go over the results and that is the episode where I'm going to give you guys basically a link to all of the agents that we created in HyperAgent that you guys can import directly into your HyperAgent account via the HyperAgent marketplace. So we're going to review the scoreboard. We're going to be publishing the fleet of agents in episode four. And that's going to be the milestone. Obviously, is that the five agents are published in episode four along with the results. Now the payoff, right? The full the full purpose of the series and the results of the series is going to be how many days did it take us to land the client and then the agent fleet is live for the audience. So that's going to be the criteria that we need to hit for the series to be complete. Now with all that said, let's jump into the fun part of episode one. I'm going to jump into HyperAgent here, show you guys my screen. And we're going to build the prospector agent from scratch and get all the way to having our foundation in place for us to start doing outreach. All right, so once we log into HyperAgent, this is going to be what we see inside the dashboard. Now again, if you use the code and the link in the description in the in the show notes, you're going to get a thousand dollars worth of free credits to start. I don't think you guys realized how much that actually how much you can actually do with that. You can do everything we're going to show you in the series multiple times over and still have plenty of credits left over. So before you even start, be sure to grab that disc or that those free credits, right? Now inside of HyperAgent, we're going to come over here on the left, we're going to see our agents. We're going to click New Agent, right? And we're going to create manually in this case because I want to show you guys everything that these agents can do. So first and foremost, we're going to come over here. I've got a Google doc that I put together with all the prompts that I'm going to be using to build each of these agents. So you can either go to the description or the show notes, download the prompts that I'm showing you here completely for free today and start building it yourself or you could wait until episode four where I'm just going to give you guys the finished agents to import directly into HyperAgent. So again, if you want to follow along, grab the prompts at the link in the description. I'm giving you guys the exact one that I'm showing you here. So the prompt we're going to use in this case, this is going to be the system prompt for our prospector agent. Right? So it's basically saying you're a prospector, you're a lead research agent for a local AI service business, your job, research, local service businesses, produce, outreach, ready, lead lists. And then we tell it all the fields that we want it to capture for every business it finds. Right? Business name, phone number, phone type, website, Google rating, Google review, account city, and the rules that we want it to follow. So what we're going to do is we're going to actually just click copy up here. We're going to come back into HyperAgent and anytime we create a new agent, it's saying what should this agent do? Right? So this is the system prompt for the agent. So we're going to paste in that system prompt that we just copied from the Google doc. And then we're going to click draft identity. And so what that's going to do is that's just going to apply our prompt as the system prompt. So now this agent knows, okay, I am a lead prospecting agent. That's pretty much all we're telling it. Now what we're going to do next is there's a lot of different ways we can customize our HyperAgent here. So we could, you know, give it its own icon, we could give it its own colored theme. But for the purposes of this series, we just want to get right down to business. So we're going to go to model next. We can choose the model that we want it to use. So we could have it use Fable 5 if we want. Or in this case, I'm probably just going to use Opus 4.8. I think that's going to get the job done for us. Or GPT 5. So actually I'm going to use GPT 5.6. So we're going to use GPT 5.6. Next we can choose the reasoning effort. So in this case, we could go, you know, high extra high max. Again, all we're having it do is do research for us. So we don't necessarily need to put it on max. However, why not? Right? We've got a thousand dollars in free credits from HyperAgent. We might as well use them. So next we can go to tools and integrations. This is where we can give it access to any tools that we want it to access. Now you'll see out of the box, HyperAgent come with a lot of tools that we really, the ones that we need are already here. Right? It has web search, it has browser use, it has the ability to create documents, it has the ability to create web pages slides, it can generate images, video, audio, it can transcribe, it can look at maps, and it can create video avatars, which is really cool. So there's not really any additional tools or integrations that we need it to have. However, if we wanted to give it additional ones, we can just click that plus. And there's quite a few integrations that we can give it here. For the purposes of this agent, though, we don't really need it to have anything extra. Now invocations. So this is where we can connect our agent to telegram. We can connect it to Slack. We can connect it to our email. We can set up a web hook for our agent. But again, we don't necessarily need to do that because we're just going to be working inside the HyperAgent dashboard. Next, we can give it skills. So we can even allow it to find and use any skill if we turn the discovery button on. But in this case, we're not, we don't need any specific specific skills. We're just having it do specific tasks. We could save the prospecting task as a skill if we want to run it again, which we probably will. But again, this is where we could just give it skills from the start or we can always go back and add them. And then for knowledge, right, this is another really cool feature that I haven't seen any other tools do. This is where you can choose how the HyperAgent's knowledge is structured. So we can give it access to all of its memories, to certain linked memories. We can allow it to edit its memories and skills. We can allow it to self-improve, right? So there's a lot of customization that we can do at the memory level. But we are just going to give it all the default settings here. We're just going to keep in place. And then we're going to click create agent. So now we've got our lead prospector agent in place. Again, we can always come back here and edit these the settings that we set for it in the beginning inside the settings page. But now we're just going to go to new thread. All right, so we're going to click new thread. And in this case, we're going to come back to our Google Doc and we're going to copy prompt two, which is its first assignment. Right? So this is when we're telling it, hey, you're going to find every tree service company in Charlotte, North Carolina. You're going to cover all the surrounding cities. You're going to search Google maps and Google search for tree service, tree removal, tree trimming in each city. I want you to target 300 plus raw results before you duplicate anything. And then you're going to deliver one master lead table with all the fields from your instructions plus a summary up top total business is found total with mobile numbers, total with no website flag every no website business. Those are my priority prospects. So we're literally just going to copy that prompt come in here to hide.
hyper agent, click paste, and in this case, we can have it put together a plan. So if we send it to hyper agent in plan mode, what it's going to do is it's going to review our prompt, put together a plan, and then ask us if we want to approve the plan or if we're, if we need to edit the plan. Now because this is a pretty straightforward prompt, we didn't necessarily need to do this in plan mode. We could just have it go straight to execution, but just to show you guys how plan mode works because anytime you're doing a more complex or multi-step prompt, plan mode is usually a really good way to start. So in this case, we gave it the prompt. It's in plan mode. It's saying I'm checking the lead prospector field requirements. The scope is clear. I'm confirming the exact schema. And now it's going to put together a plan for us. I'll come back in a couple of seconds when that's ready and we will approve the plan. All right. So it just delivered the completed plan to us. Now it's asking us if we want to approve the plan, request changes, or reject it outright. Now one thing I want to mention that I think is insane. This is so cool and this is unique to HyperAgent. As while it was doing its plan, it actually went to the HyperAgent marketplace and discovered a skill that's already in the HyperAgent marketplace called Small Business Website Builder. And if we click on that skill, this is literally a skill that somebody built in the HyperAgent marketplace that says it's the end-to-end playbook for a local web design lead engine. Find Small Businesses in any area that have great Google reviews but know or bad websites. Then build them modern concept sites and package it all as a single click through operator dashboard for pitching. So I didn't ask it to do that, right? It literally went to the marketplace, found that skill, figured it would be useful for what our use case was, and installed it so that it can use that when we actually go to execute. So it's very smart, right? These agents are super smart. Now if we look at the plan that it gave us, again, I'm not going to read it line by line, but it basically, the plan that it put together is it's going to run Google Maps or Places and Google Search around Charlotte. It's going to capture 300 raw results. It's going to normalize the names, addresses, domains, and phone numbers. It's going to verify that each business is currently operating and materially serves the target Metro. It's going to verify the official website and classified as valid. It's going to verify contact details. It's going to assemble the master lead table and then it's going to quality control itself, right? It's going to check and make sure that the output is actually accurate. So in this case, let's click approve plan. So we're going to approve plan, send response, and then it is going to go to work. Now chances are it's going to take it probably 10 to 15 minutes or so to really do all of this work because this is a pretty hefty task. And we have it set to maximum reasoning. So it's going to take a little longer than normal. So while it's doing that, what we're going to do is we're going to come back up here to our lead prospector agent. We're going to click new thread again. Now what we're going to do while it is finding us the leads, we want to have it create the live pipeline dashboard. So it can work on multiple tasks at the same time. So basically in our Google Doc, it says, send this while the prospector is scraping. Same agent, new request. So while it is doing the work, we're going to come back to our Google Doc and copy the code or copy the prompt that says, well, this great runs, build me a live pipeline dashboard as a web page artifact. This is the scoreboard for a four episode video series. So make it bold and readable on camera. So again, it's just going to pretty much lay out the full pipeline of every business we've contacted and the status of the series that we're going through right now. So I'm going to paste this into hyper agent again. In this case, I don't necessarily need it to put together a plan. This is a pretty straightforward request. So I'm going to set it to execute and set a plan first. And I'm going to set it to on auto mode. So it's not going to stop and ask me permission every time it feels like it needs permission. So I'm going to have it do that. And now, you know, if we go back to our other thread, it is going to be working on our, it's going to be finding the leads and building our pipeline funnel at the same time. So I will come back as soon as that's done. And we will review both of those outputs. Now one thing I'll mention while it's working right while it's finding us all these leads, it dispatched eight sub agents to do a lot of the research, right? So right now our main lead prospector agent deployed eight sub agents and each of those sub agents is browsing the web and looking for leads. So we can see here on the right hand side of the screen, these are all the sub agents at work doing different things. So for example, this one is looking for tree removal and mint hill, North Carolina. This one is looking for tree service and Matthews, North Carolina. This one is looking tree removal and hundreds of North Carolina. So again, hyper agent is smart enough to know when it should be delegating big chunks of work to sub agents to keep the costs down and just make the task a lot quicker, right? Because if the one agent was having to do this whole thing, it would take a lot longer. But because we technically have eight sub agents working on the same process, it's going to be much quicker, right? So again, I'm going to come back when it's done, but I wanted to point that out because these agents are smart enough to know when to deploy sub agents versus when to do a task itself. All right. So both tasks are complete. We now have our fully interactive live sales funnel pipeline dashboard, which I'll show you in a second. We also have our full leads list ready to go. We can hit the ground running, start contacting these leads in five minutes if we wanted to. Now one thing I want to point out, and this is just being fully transparent. So it went out and found 494 businesses. It realized that 98 of those were actually solid active leads and of those 98 or to find those 98 leads and to do the deduplication and do the scraping and do all that work, all the sub agents that it spawned. We go up here to the top. It tells us exactly how much it costs to run that task. So so far, we've spent $151.18 just to get the leads ready. Now remember, hyper agent is giving everybody in my audience $1,000 worth of free credits to start. So theoretically, you could run this exact workflow six or seven times before hitting your $1,000 free credit limit. So I just want to be transparent about that, right? It costs money to do this research and to do this scraping. If you were to do this at like another platform or to spend your own money doing it and not use the link in the description of the free credits, right? So I just wanted to be clear about that. Now we've got our 98 leads and let's go and see. So I took a little peek at these. So I put them all in a master table. So we'll go full screen and then we'll open these in a new tab. Now again, I took a quick look at some of these. I'm so excited about the opportunity here. Like you're going to probably laugh. The audience here is going to laugh when they see the actual websites here. Like this is our competition, right? So let's look at this first business here. Treecare LLC based out of Belmont, which is like 20 minutes from where I live. We've got their phone number right here. And if we click on their website, treecaresharlott.org, nothing comes up. It's literally a blank white page, right? So this business doesn't even have a website. This one here, Caddy, you tree experts, click on their website, site not found 404 error, right? So they do not have a website. This one here, divine acts of valor, which is a tree service and drainage service out of Concord. Again, 20 minutes from where I live, click on their website site can't be reached, right? They do not have a website. Centrel a tree service. This one's interesting. CentrelatreeService.com. We click on that website. It literally redirects us to a gambling website, to a crypto gambling website. Do they even know that that's happening, right? If I were to call them up and say, hey, I tried to go to your website, but when I do it, literally redirects me to a crypto gambling website where you aware they probably don't even realize that, right? This one here treeworks out of Matthews. Again, 20 minutes from me treeworksnc.com. You can't even get to their website because it says your connection is not private. It says attackers might be trying to steal your information. Those are the first five companies on our list, such low-hanging fruit, right? A $500 website that's actually legit and actually drives leads is such a no-brainer offer. I mean, it's astounding to me how much opportunity there is. If we keep scrolling down, those are ones that the scan found that they have a website listed, but they actually don't work. So the other 90 plus leads on this list that either don't have a website at all or they only have a Facebook page or a next-door page that redirects to their website. Some of these do have a legit website, but let's look at some of these at tripleatrees.net. This website is not terrible. They're pulling in their Google reviews. They've got pictures of the team. This is actually one of the better websites that I've seen in terms of these leads so far. Let's look at some of the other ones. We scroll up here. Let's see if we can just pick another random one. Combstreeservice.com. Taking multiple seconds to load. But then here on their website, they have a form that you can fill out. Get a free estimate. That's great, right? That's what we want to see. Have an emergency request service phone number. That's like every tree company should be doing that. But for the most part, those are the exceptions. Let's look at Gomez Tree Services LLC.us. This is their website. It just does not look good. It's very sloppy. There's a lot going on. This is a pretty, pretty bad website.
And like where can I go and get a quote? Can I go and get a quote? Okay, request service or estimate They're request service or estimate form is literally just a Google form that it wants you to fill out Then you submit it and I bet every dollar that I have to my name it will take them more than 48 hours to respond to me So that is kind of the leads that we're dealing with here. We have a ton of opportunity So that is our master leads list It's verified 98 different businesses for us to reach out to so if for some reason we blow through this list and We don't get a sales call out of it Then we will go back and run the same workflow the same search for like we said either pressure washing companies or Driveway and concrete installers other similar style businesses and then if we go look at these sales funnel pipeline that it built for us So what I like about this pipeline will will open it up here in full screen It actually used my personal branding palette and my brand kit to build this so it used my exact font They use my my color scheme. So we open it up here. Let's open it in a new tab and It's a super simple just like one page dashboard, right? And this is interactive. So Right now it's saying that we are on day one of the challenge We're here currently in episode one so like it even took that into account Then it's showing us our pipeline funnel. So it's showing our the number of leads found right now It says zero because we had it build this before the scrape was complete So we could simply go back into the thread and say hey update the leads found a metric to Correspond with the actual number of leads found which is 98 so it would be leads found Then the number of text messages sent the number of replies that we got the number of interested replies the number of Free sites delivered the number of calls booked and the dollar amount of the closed deals from those leads So it's really the full pipeline from the top of the funnel all the way down to the bottom We've even got a recent activity section. So that's where it'll show us the date the exact business that we are reaching out to here in the stage change whether they move from you know tech scent to reply to interested whatever that looks like and This is going to be what we use to track our funnel So it delivered those two deliverables in a span of just a couple of minutes and Now that we've got our leads and we've got our pipeline built We are going to build the open or agent now remember This is the agent that is actually going to draft the outreach Messages as well as the replies as well as handle any objections that we get so we're going to come back up here to agents We're going to click the plus sign and we're going to do create manually again And then we're going to go back into our Google doc and again We've got the prompt here for the system prompt for the opener agent and guys remember just as a reminder all these prompts That I'm using here to build these agents and to create these assets are going to be available as a free download In the description and in the show notes. So we're going to copy this prompt here Which is basically telling it you are an opener a cold outreach copywriter for local AI service businesses run by Cory and Charlotte North Carolina your job is to write text messages to local business owners that get replies and then manage reply Scripts for every scenario. So we give it a couple of non-negotiable rules for first touch texts Never exceed 160 characters no links no emojis no mention of AI websites marketing or any offer So what I love here is it's saying sound like a local human never accompany sign off with just Cory One personalization variable minimum meaning you know, we're going to personalize these text messages These aren't just going to be like templated generic outreach Text messages. So we're going to personalize it with things like their city their first name if we have it and then the goal of Text one is to get a reply. It's not to make a sale right we're going to use a casual direct tone and we're going to write like we would be texting a neighbor So that's going to be the system prompt We're going to grab that and then we'll get into the actual script writing here in a second So we're going to grab that back into hyper agent paste it into the identity field. We're going to have it draft that identity And then just like before once that's done we're going to select so we're not going to change the theme or anything else Associated with the agent under the hood. We're just going to come to the model and choose GPT 5.6 again And then for reasoning effort we again we can keep it on max Probably would make sense to lower it. Let's actually put it on high because this isn't like a super high IQ task the reason the previous You know going and scraping all the leads the reason that was more expensive than it would have been otherwise is because we set it to max So again if you want to take your tokens and and stretch them out as far as you can the Reasoning effort selection is going to be the best lever to pull for that Then we go to tools and integrations again We're just going to have it use all the standard tools and integrations nothing fancy that we need to give it access to For invocations we're going to leave that blank for now again We're just going to interact with this agent inside a hyper agent. We can add it to slack if we want we can add it to telegram if we want But we're just going to use it inside the web web portal for now for skills again Nothing special that we need to add for skills for knowledge nothing special we need to add for knowledge and then we're just going to click create agent All right, so as it's building the agent let's look at the next prompt that we're going to give it so we're going to give it the actual Task to write the scripts so this particular prompt is going to be it's going to say you know write my episode one script pack For texting tree service owners in the Charlotte metro area and so it was pretty clever with with how it drafted these Templates so it said for the first touch text You're going to create three variations of something along the lines of hey Do y'all still do tree removal in Charlotte found you on Google Corey and I like how it it put the word y'all right? Specifically said y'all which again, we're in North Carolina That's coming around here. It seems a lot more casual. It seems like you're texting a neighbor like if you if they get a text from someone that includes the word y'all It's probably not a pitch or it's probably not an AI so they're going to be a lot more likely to respond I liked it it included that there and then for the reply pitch it says when they respond yes It's going to reveal that I noticed that they have no website and I build free ones for local tree companies No catch no charge end with a question that makes yes easy right so once they reply That's when we say oh, well by the way I built you a website. Here's the link no strings attached Take it do what you want with it naturally. They are going to want us to install it and build it for them Then it's going to draft anywhere from two to three Objection responses and then for anybody that ops out We're going to it's going to draft one polite line confirming I'll never text them again And then it's going to draft a variant for any of these leads it actually has a website So it's going to it's going to create a has a website variant of the reply pitch and this is for interested prospects Who already have a website but the angle here is that their site is losing after hours leads and I fix that Then we're going to it's going to format everything as a single reference document that I can read from my phone while responding live all right, so we're going to take this Prompt here. We're going to copy it back into our agents. We're going to click new thread inside of our agent here And actually let's oh never mind. Okay, so we're going to come back into our agent here and we're going to paste that there And again, we don't necessarily need it to plan. We can just have it go straight to execute because it's a pretty straightforward ask So we paste it in the prompt. We're going to let it go to work and I will be back when it has our one-pager ready with all of our scripts and templates ready to go All right, our outreach scripts are ready to go. I actually had hyper agent go ahead and output them in a Google doc because that's just easier for me to reference So inside the Google doc we've got our scripts here ready to go so it created three variations of a first touch text So in this case it shows the simple option of hey the alt still do tree removal in your city found you on Google Corey Right, the next option is hey, this is is this the owner of company name are y'all still taking tree removal jobs around city Corey and then lastly a short and casual hey Corey here found your company on Google while looking at tree services around city Quick business question. Do you still handle tree removal there? Right, so chances are these three are going to perform relatively similarly. They're all about the same I will probably just be sending option a to pretty much every lead because it's short and sweet the goal of the first touch Tax is just to get them to respond We just want to get a response and then once they respond That's when we actually go in and let them know that we do what we do so we say awesome So whenever they say yes, right? Hey, yes, we still do tree work in Charlotte awesome. Well, I actually reached out for a different reason I build Tree companies a new lead converting website and put an AI on your site that answers and books inbound leads 24/7 I even went ahead and built the site for you so you can see what it looks like It's yours completely free. Want me to send it over and so that way If they say yes to that I can send them the actual mockup of the site that we built using hyper agent and you know I'm telling the truth here. This is free me sending them that link them seeing the site that I've already built That's free like theoretically they could take that link turn it into an HTML Convert it into their own website and take it and run with it Are they going to do that? Absolutely not nobody is ever going to do that so again We're being truthful by saying it's yours free But then if they want us to actually implement it for them and host it for them and maintain it for them and put the AI on their site That's what they're going to be paying us the $500 for so
That's our way of just getting a foot in the door, providing a ton of value upfront, and then using that as bait to get them on a sales call. So here are some of our objection responses. So if they say something like, well, what's the catch, I would respond with, look, fair question. It's a one page preview and a starter build that I just sent you, it's completely free. There's no obligation for you to use it. However, if you want any sort of extra features, or if you want us to build the full thing out, I'm happy to quote you a price and I'm not gonna do anything without your okay. Next objection we might get is like, a who is this? So I could say, hey, I'm Cory, I'm in Charlotte. I found your company on Google. I built simple websites for local tree companies and I reached out because I couldn't find a website for your company. If they ask how much, then I can say the one page site that I built and that I sent you is completely free. It's yours, you can take it and run. If you ever want anything outside of that, I'm happy to show you the price beforehand. Would never sign you up for anything automatically. If they say something like not interested, I'll say no problem. Thanks for letting me know. I won't follow up or keep pitching you. And then if they say, is this a scam? Say not at all, this free site is my way of providing value before pitching you anything. If you feel like it's worth a further conversation to see what the full site looks like, we can set up a caller I can swing by your office next week. And that is my goal. If we get people on the hook, if we get people who are interested, I want to show up at their door. I want to meet them face to face. If I can get face to face with a business owner, I can close them, no problem. And I will record that conversation to the best of my ability. It might just be an audio recording of my conversation with the business owner, but either way that will make for some really good content. If they opt out, we could say something like understood. I've removed your number and I won't text you again. Now for those companies that do already have a website, that first or that reply template is going to be a little different. So we'd send that same first text outreach message. And then if they reply and say, yes, we're still doing tree work or yes, this is the owner, I'd say a little something different on the response. It's able to, that's awesome. I actually reached out for a different reason. I build tree companies a new lead converting website and put an AI on your site that answers in books and about leads 24/7. I took a look at your current site and it seems like there isn't a super easy way for people to get a quick quote after hours. I can build you a free mobile website that gets leads to a quote request faster. Want me to send it over. So a very similar approach. It's just slightly tailored because they already have a website. Now that is the episode one, that's episode one, right? So right now we've got our pipeline dashboard that HyperAge and is built for us. We've got our full leads list of the 98 companies that we can reach out to in Charlotte in this rounding areas. And we have our outreach script. So the full foundation is in place. We can hit the ground running, we can start sending text messages, we can start making phone calls, we can start showing up to these businesses in person and pitching our services. So a couple of things I would ask for you guys. One, keep an eye out for episode two, right? These are gonna be probably a couple of weeks apart just to give me enough time to put good effort and good production value into these episodes. Two, be sure to go to the link in the description and then the show notes and get the $1,000 in free credits to HyperAgent. You can do everything that I showed you in episode one today, multiple times over, using those free credits. Three, be sure to grab all the prompts that I used in today's call, right? So here's that free Google sheet again. If you're watching this on YouTube, every single prompt that I use to build those agents and create those assets are gonna be free as a free download in the link in the description and the show notes. Stay tuned for episode two, which is when we start making cold calls, we start sending text messages and we start doing the outreach, which is the only work that matters. That's the only work that's actually gonna make us money. So I'm looking forward to episode two. Thanks for watching back soon.
