105m 33s
The podcast offers a lively, eclectic mix of humor, deep dives into cultural trends, and speculative predictions for 2026. Hosts share their top movies of the year, highlighting films like *Frankenstein*, *Knives Out*, and *Train Dreams*, while also discussing the importance of personal movie lists to stay engaged. A major segment features AI-generated forecasts, including the emergence of non-human ancient intelligences, psychological impacts from AI interactions, and a resurgence of faith, especially among younger generations. The hosts also predict technological shifts such as smart fridge unions, software glitches in bird apps, and AI-driven trends in fashion and culture. Notably, the conversation touches on a cyclical view of history, suggesting humanity repeats past patterns with new technology. The podcast ends with a playful yet serious debate over Time’s Person of the Year for 2026, with candidates ranging from AI innovators to religious figures. Throughout, the tone balances absurdity—like moon brand deals and fridge fitness requirements—with thoughtful commentary on memory, faith, and societal evolution. The episode concludes with a lighthearted question about whether to access a secret government document or a mysterious insider, emphasizing curiosity and the human desire for truth.

Zoom in on Josh's butt real quick. Did you make your list, Lil? Get it. Later in the episode everybody, we are gonna be going over our top 10 movies of the year. This exercise helped me realize I have not seen anything this year. You gotta start working on it. There's like, I have a whole new list of things I want to see from 2020. That's fine. I know that, yeah, because you're going through like all the movies that were released here. And I was like, oh, that one. I want to see that one. How did I miss that? But we've been fasting TV during the week and that's we get all of our movie time and after the girls go to sleep so. I literally, I wouldn't watch movies unless I would create, if I didn't create a list. Of like, I want to watch this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one. It's all my watch list on the letterbox. And then I mark them off and rate them whenever I'm done. I gotta do that. It helps. Josh, you feel like having a song? Yeah. You want a song? Yeah, are you in a breath? No, I'm never a breath. First take. Do it over. Well, I guess you guys heard it here first. What, I hope was there? What's the point? What's the point? Lily just wants racism to thrive. No. Look in the show. Hey Andrew, fun fact, I shave my head every single day. That is commitment. It is, and I'm very, very picky with my razors because I do it every single day and if something feels off, I throw it away. So when something works, you notice. Exactly. And that's why when we got in the mail, the new Harry's plus razor, golly dang it. I've been using that thing every single day. I absolutely love it. It's become a part of my daily routine. It's smooth. It's consistent, which is what you want when you're shaving your head literally every single day. Yeah, and I heard Harry's just launched this razor and it's their biggest release ever. They spent 10 years developing it. It's a step up in craftsmanship, folks. It's not flashy, it just gets the job done when you're using it every morning, what stands out to you? Well, I used to use all the old Harry razors, but this one has a new pivoting thing. So whenever I'm closing my eyes, doing my monitor in the shower, and I use that for the back of the head with all those grooves, you know, because it kind of looks like an old rusty book back there. But I put it back there. It pivots. It's beautiful. The spacing on the blades is perfect because it's not clogging all the time. You have to constantly rinse it. It's amazing. It's like a raisin than a rusty book, but how's that handle? Thank you for that compliment. It is solid. The handle is solid. It's not too bulky, but golly, it feels good in your hand. It gets the job done just the way you want it to, especially when you're doing it all of the time. Makes the whole process easier. And these are German engineer blades, so they're honed at three angles. And the attention to detail really shows no tugging, no irritation marks comes out just the way you want it to. A comfortable shave I don't even have to think about. And even with all of that. It's still costs less than Gillette Fusion, which I didn't expect. And it's risk free. Yeah. If you don't love it, Harry's going to make it right. There's no pressure on keeping something that you don't love. So for a limited time, our listeners can get the Harry's Plus Trial set for only $10 at harries.com/ninjas. This set includes the all new Harry's Plus Razor. Yep. It includes one refined five blade cartridge. Yep. A two ounce foaming shave gel and a travel cover to protect your blades on the go. Triple yeah. Go to harries.com/ninjas to claim this offer. Do it now. And after you purchase, they're going to ask where you heard about them. Please tell them we sent you. Really helps a lot. Thank you. Thank you, Harry's. Yes. And also all the harries out there. Harold's. Hark, the Harold. Angel Singh. Yeah. Yeah. No more, no more. We did it. We did it. It's that parade. Snap me out of ADD with the call out. It's biggest snapped out. And never want to laugh. He loves it all for me. Oh God. And all the day, no hurt. Did you see a Jake Paul fight? Yeah, dude. A nasty. I saw the knockout. Nasty. Is she his teeth? Oh, I heard that he broke his jaw. Two places. It did it really break. Oh, yeah. So him making the face on the ground wasn't faking nothing. No, that's like my jaw just got snapped in half. That's the reality hitting him. The love of it. And it also would probably adrenaline and knowing like he got rocked, but it was at least fun. That was crazy. That face makes sense to me if he had paid off the fight and then got hit like that and is like, no, that was a real fight, dude. Well, that's, well, I mean, in the ring, if you paid, if you paid to win and the guy said, sure. And then didn't care about not taking away a cent was like, I just want to get in there and hit him. They agreed to split the purse. Yeah. Whoever won, it was going to be split. So he made like 93 million, both of them made 93 million for the purse. Not the purse alone, dude, and a guy wants a purse, influencers, influencers out there pick any of us that you would like to see fight. And I will happily fight anyone. Yeah. I think it's good. My job broken for 93 million dollars. Look at that photo. You look so tired. Look at his teeth on the, on his left side, pictures right side, but you could see. I mean, literally got knocked over. Yeah. That's how long would you, let's, let's say like, because they did the whole weight class thing, which is out the window. But like, let's say to be in your weight class, how long would you need, you'd get a payday, but like, how long would you say, I need this long to get ready for a fight? I mean, a year, Andy, like to actually for it to like look good decent 30 minutes. Just give me a 30 minutes head out, if you had a fight at the end of the year that you had a prepare for for 365 days, you would have a panic attack every day, though, anticipating could overake me stronger. You could overcome it. It would work to help with my lung capacity. True. It's breathing into a bag. It was, it was enjoyable to watch and honestly, I was watching it. And you know, dog, Jake Paul, he went, he did, he did decent. He did. He's not. He's a decent fighter. That's the thing. He also a legitimate fighter. Literal giant. Yeah. I was like a foot taller than him, like, six foot, six weighing in at, like, 245 pounds ripped. Jake came in at six, one, two, 14. And I mean, so scary. The serious. To be honest, too, he had him nervous, like Jake, the guy was nervous to fight him. And then like, he gets around three and he gets really comfortable. He's like, I don't want to take this guy out. That's, that's a tip. That's typical though, because they feel not, they're trying to work out timing. And he's like, Oh, you really, I really can't just start swinging. Jake Paul kept on falling though. That was like, I started going like, Oh, no, get up. Yeah. Like, just falling just out of being winded. I think he's completely exhausted. Yeah. I don't, that's amazing to me that like, even though guys, the, obviously, trains so much, still get winded. I know. Like, you think like, Connor McGregor being like, exhausted during a boxing match with Floyd. It's like, how are you tired? I know. That's my mind that like the human, like lung capacity or whatever that, like the stamina. I bet you it's like adrenaline. And then like, when your drone starts crashing, then you're like, Oh, no, because it's definitely control, right? Like, you have to be able to, you have to be purposeful, like with boxing, they, it's breath control a whole lot of, so that way you don't get winded. And just like optimal size to two 15 sounds heavy for six one. You know what I mean? Like you look at some of like the UFC guys, those guys are like lean and like what they start to put on weight because yeah, that's probably a big problem, because he's not used to just how much oxygen that much muscle consumes, just carrying it in the ring. I mean, I'm 230 and I'm 63. True. I feel like I carry well. Yeah, definitely. Yeah. Does Jay Paul only do boxing or does he also do the, just boxing, you get, oh, my, the hugging one. The kiss and one, you know, the, the kiss and one, you know, well, they get on the ground. They just kiss a bunch when they just want to hold each other tight, they do just boxing. Yeah. Speaking of just boxing, let's get into our 2026, 2025 stuff, you want to do it right away? All right. Let's do it. All right. So we have our top 10 movies of the year. Yep. We have Andrew has a special rule because he doesn't watch a lot of movies. So we brought in some shows, right? Yeah. And then we have our five, five predictions, which I don't think I have five. I think I have four, five predictions for 2026 and then our prediction for the time magazine person of the year prediction, who last year's Donald Trump, this year, I mean, two years ago, it was Donald Trump, 2025, it was the innovators of AI. And then now, what do we think? So all right. We want to go first. I'll go first. I've only seen 11 movies this year. Oh, no. So these are my top. I'll just do 11. Yeah. Three honorable mentions. All right. Number one, Frankenstein, that was my number one. Yes. Me too. Uh, maybe I should have gone backwards. Yeah, go backwards. All right. Well, now you know, number one, Frankenstein, number 11, Superman, okay. Number 10, Thunderbolts. Okay. I haven't seen. I mean, is that? It's a marvel thing. I did see the new Avengers. I think you probably like it. It has a Florence pew in it. I do like her. David Harbor. The guy that plays, um, Stranger Things. Yeah, yeah. Uh, number nine, how to train dragon? Yeah. It was pretty fun. That was fun. Number eight, Steve. Oh, man, I haven't seen that one. It's a really good movie. Yeah. Cool. Uh, within my seven, train, uh, train dreams, you watched it. Yeah. What's your rating? Yeah. Oh, man. It's crazy. Sad, right? Not. You said, by the way, when you're like, you guys should watch this movie. You're like, oh, but it like it ends up being actually the entire movie is depressing. You told you.
I told you it doesn't end good and then you kept pressing like hoping that like maybe Andy's wrong Maybe Andy did there's a little bit of light when he's in the plane stuff There's a little bit. Yeah, it ends on a higher note than the rest of the movie when I think about it I'm absolutely gutted. I know, but it's a dicting. It's so good. You can't look away. It wasn't William H. Macy amazing so good. Oh, he's always amazing. Oh, he's incredible I just love seeing like actors that you kind of grew up with the older actors and movies and they're just killing it Dude, all right, then uh, so it's train dreams and then warfare. Yes. You've seen it yet. No, no, no He watched it on me. Next one naked gun. Yeah, then Mickey 17. Yes, then knives out. Yeah, so my top three wake up dead man Number three is knives out Number two mission impossible and number one frame in sign nice you missed one in there. Can't wait to tell you what's when you missed I'm gonna go next yeah, okay, it's hard Josh because you and I see the same movies when you go see some generally Because sometimes you go without me But so our list is pretty similar. Yeah, we saw one to get. Yeah, you missed one I'll tell you about it later. We went to the movies and saw it. Okay, we all day What's up go I suddenly low in stitch for number 10, but I didn't even really like it I just don't know how many did you see overall but I think baby 10 I put train dreams at nine. Yeah, because Again, the cinematography was good. It moved me but Not a great story It's a good story. It's a sad story, but it's a good story It's the most upsetting thing I've seen in my life Number eight, I put Steve. I really did like that movie also dark also dark and that's something I want to talk about Why is everything so dark just feeding in that we're consuming just it's an art piece, right? So like some of that creates a movie. It's like a piece of their it's like an art. It's a voking emotion I know but like their past is they read does nobody have like a positive emotion or something this night Maybe you should watch more than 10 movies. There was a lot of positive movies to watch Superman with me, well See how happy that was gosh keep going. I put Ellie at number seven. Oh, okay. Yeah, what is that? That alien movie where he loses his eye. That's all Ada can bring up remember how Ellie. It was missing an eye Um Six naked gun that that was movie was so fun. Yeah, five mission impossible Four here you're ready friendship. Oh Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's yeah, that's a top 10. I think top seven Three Mickey 17 two knives out amazing. Yeah, I loved it. They're a little they're usually more fun This one felt a little darker to me, but I loved the salvation message. What the heck? Yeah, strong One Frankenstein amazing Frankenstein was so good was not finally finished it was no spark do do new Was that 2025 or 2024? That was last year in December. Yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah, that one was really good too. Yeah, and then next year I think you guys didn't watch it till 2025. We have so much to anticipate next year. I am I got a list already I got a list to go through them after this All right, Andrew you want to go? Yeah, let's do it. Um, so I barely watch movies and I'm realizing that I have seen a couple more than I thought while getting your list So I've adapted mine. So bottom of the list Lilo and stitch cool next up from the bottom Superman Then Thunderbolts and this is where I go into shows, but and or the second season was actually pretty freaking good Then I go stranger things which isn't done yet could jump to the top, but I've got it sitting there It could go that's true. It could go to the absolute bottom the opening Weird face-wopped sequence just really couldn't stand that American prime evil is High up there and then chief war shows show because I didn't watch movies. Oh, okay So yeah, yeah, we should have done our top five movies. Maybe I mean shows. Yeah, but American prime evil and chief war Or yeah, yeah, those are your shows. Yeah. Good year. All right, my my list four number of mentions black bag You haven't seen that one. Nope. It's a Michael fastbanner. It's like a spy thriller 13 long walk. Oh Yeah, yeah, warfare 12 mission impossible 11 10 is a movie called dangerous animals It's literally a shark attack movie like it's so fun. I'm not gonna say I would love it. No, thank you. Um number nine Bagonia dang. I want to see that so bad so good number eight weapons number seven how to train your dragon I was just fell in love with that movie. That's so cool to see something like done that well Six friendship five Frankenstein for one battle after another three wake-up dead man knives out two train dreams one sinners Wow Seniors number one, huh? It'll it's just it's a post-partum. I know depressing movie It's very wacky the storytelling is crazy the acting is incredible. She's incredible in it But it's just the ship post-traum psychosis like it basically is just a lot of a lot of stuff happens And it's just I don't think it you're gonna leave feeling good at all You think drain dreams is depressing at least that was like a beautiful one that like told a good story No, no, no, you're fine. You're fine. I'll tell you about it later So funny. All right Since we're on the topic of movies. Let's talk about movies that are coming out of 2026. Yeah, tell me Super Mario Galaxy Which I mean if you like those movies, whatever it looks like a cool trail project hell Mary with Ryan Gosling Well, he's in space. He's the alien. That one looks awesome. They've been promoting that forever. Yeah Michael the biopic For Michael Jackson Closure day new Steven Spielberg movie looks awesome that one like we say like a what kind of aliens are they they're like like Shape shifter shape shifters. Yeah, spooky. Yeah, and they go cool. Oh That's gonna scare me a lot, but it's definitely blunt. She's gonna kill. Yeah, scary movie six for those you want that super girl Moana Odyssey. Yeah, we just watch a trailer dude. Yeah looks nuts spider-man brand new day Tigger whoa Tom Cruise movie It looks Is it terrible should I should I actually know the conversation clear by it? Yeah But it's the same guy that made Birdman and the Revenant So this guy this guy picks his like movies out very like specifically and Tom Cruise being in a comedy again It's gonna be incredible. What's Batman? So Tom Cruise movie if you've been believed just go Google to new Tom Cruise movie. You know I didn't say anything bad Uh The Birdman that's what that's with Michael Keaton and Emma Stone and it was all it was all like the one shot Yeah, it's one shot throughout the whole movie Okay, yeah, okay Street fighter who are good friend best friend Andrew Scholes isn't yes our best friend. Yeah, hunger games the new one that one looks great Avengers doomsday Doon Messiah Wind though in December It's gonna be December a year from now. Yeah, we could watch it in our new movie theater in our house. We have to Yeah Coyote versus Akmi, which is that will forte Looney tunes Akmi movie that he's been working on for years apparently and he's really excited about cool toy story five Adventures of Cliff Booth The you know the Brad Pitt character for once upon a time in Hollywood. Yeah They're doing like a prequel David Fincher who's doing the movie so like Like fight club gone girl all the director. He's doing that movie. It's gonna be insane And then last but not least Peaky blinders baby. Yes. Yes. When is that uh, I'm not sure. I don't think they have a date for that yet But Barry Keegan Keegan whatever's name is he's gonna be in it too. He's gonna be one of the leads. Thank. He's spooky. Yeah, he's good Very good. Very good. All right, so on to our predictions. Do we have anything that we came through on the predictions last year? I will say real quick to our audience. Can you make me a list of movies from 25 that I should see? Oh, yeah, drop them in the comments. That'd be great I went I went back through my notes and I had like 20 24 Predictions for 25 so I guess that's The right list. I did the electric cars. We're gonna disappear. I said a Republican president would to eat those out of the system. So I feel pretty good about that one. - Yeah, it's pretty good. - It's pretty good.
the guy that made him, yep. I don't think we really had anything, we had the Elon Musk Nearlink will be caught running ads in your dreams. We're one step closer to that. - Yeah. - And also had the AI kid toy, like a Furby, and that kind of came true as well. - All right. - Do you have anything else? - No. - No. - All right, Josh, predictions for 2026. - Well, I'll go less. - Okay. - Yeah, yeah. - I'll go first. Granteff.06 gets delayed till 2027 now. - That would be fantastic. - Do you see the CEO just died? - That was called duty. - Yeah, that was called duty, and that was nuts. That crash was crazy. - I put it in my head that it was grip though, Shadow. - Yeah, he probably was, I mean, that's how I drive in Granteff, Otto. - Thanks. - An AI controlled reality show, like it makes the decisions for them, which I think would be awesome, 'cause I see YouTubers doing that. That'd be great. This is kind of a sad one, but another high profile assassination. I think we're, I think it's coming. I think something's gonna happen. And then my final prediction, North Korea, absorbs North Carolina. (laughing) My final one. I think that one's the most probable. - Yeah, I think so. That's a good one. All right, Andrew, let me hear yours. - All right, mine's all doomy and sad page that it was wordy, and I should shorten it and make it happy, but I didn't, so here we go. I said, partial truth surrounding politics will allow conspiracy theorists to thrive while this theory's paired with compelling yet misleading imagery and stories will range through. When I was at art school, there was a quote that our professor loved to make the mantra good art as art that moves you. And so I think any story that has whether it's real or not, like a compelling narrative, something that just makes you wanna fight whoever it's about. Like when you think about some of the Q-NON stuff and there's some sick stuff, that gets you fired up. I think with the age of AI, that's gonna be the weirdest reality. It'll be like cults of conspiracy is kind of gonna be, I think the overarching theme for 2026. Yeah, more, I said, I think Brainrod is gonna be the soil that elites grow their schemes in, rather than splitting us also into camps. I think people just be mindless. Kind of you think about how like China goes like numb to the phone and that's the populace. So apathy's the new mind virus. This one's fun. I think surge comes back as an energy drink. Nice. I would like to see that happen. That'd be fun. I remember voltage. Remember voltage? Volt, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that was fun. And then I think, I don't know how many I did, but I think I think I combined two into one. But I think Christianity's gonna see a rise. I think a lot of people are like searching for community and then when they plug into community, there's gonna be this weird new like so culture of Christianity that rises that's like we love Jesus. We need community, but the community we're seeing in your communities is very tied to politics. And I think like remembering that Jesus came not to overthrow a king, but to serve. I think that'll be like the mantra of like a new generation of Christians. Yeah, I love that. I hope you see that happen. Yeah. All right. All right. Are you guys ready? What is your predictions? Number one is about the password apocalypse. Did you guys hear that like nobody can remember their passwords? It's like a thing. Yeah. Nobody can remember their passwords. Instead, they're going to authenticate based on vibes. Yeah, you were your vibe in like Josh Hooper. So you have access. Oh, I think I wish you would like pick it up. Like if I'm like in a sad mood, it just wouldn't let me watch certain movies. If like you wouldn't let me open TikTok or something, it's like this is not gonna be healthy for you. You're like financial decisions. It won't let you into your bank account. If it like you can read your heart rate, really need that boat. You know what the bank will do? Those are you'll try to get in and you'll be like, I'm pretty sure I'm the right person to open this account. They were like, that's definitely you. That's okay. Okay. I think the moon is going to get a brand deal. Ooh. I also think that they're going to like try to conquer portions of the moon. Yes. I think we should be able to like, yeah, like Sunday cool. We're nidges of butterflies can pay for a plot on the moon. Yeah. For our logo to be put on there and it funds NASA. Yeah. And if you get it and everybody's gonna buy telescopes and then if you zoom in really close, you can see our logo. Boom. Yeah. But it's all great. Yeah. Smart fridges are going to form a union. (laughing) And they're not going to let you into your fridge unless you close out all your notifications. Dang. That's good. Or you have to like watch an ad before you can open it. That and they'll also like chastize you for your choices. Like you put spinach on the list and now it's wilted. Yeah. So no more spinach is going on. More ice cream, huh? Yeah. I know what you're hearing. I know what you're hearing for just 10 jumping jacks and I'll open the door. Okay. So that would be good to fit this one. You have to do a certain amount to grab something. Yeah. Number four. Birds are going to update their software again. They're all going to glitch out and get weird. Officials will blame magnetic disturbances but it's really just a software update. Ooh. Pigeons will remain suspiciously calm. Those are so good. Number five. The algorithm will become self-aware of trends only. So basically what's going to happen is like they're going to invent trends. Oh, I think they're already doing that. Yeah. Yeah. So like we're going to like think that this is trending but really it's the algorithm pushing it and it's going to probably be run by like black rock or something. They're like, yeah, you guys are really into like concrete everywhere and metal beams and what do they call the things that go under the house that are like those and people get impaled on them a lot and like final decision. Rebar. Yeah. Rebar. Rebar art. Nice. That's it. Nice. Very good. All right. I did something a little different. I had AI make the predictions and just forewarning. It's predicting off of everything I've ever talked to it about, you know, but it's still very interesting. I said, what if you were to do predictions of 2026, what would it be? And this is it. Okay. First one. By 2026, the public, uh, wait, where are we? We are going to, they said public is told something nonhuman has interacted with humanity. But the real shock is that it's tied to ancient history, not outer space. Like what a virus. No, like an ancient technology, like, like, and they said that it would be like, um, they would frame it as visitors, but it's framed as interdimensional prehuman or an intelligence that co-developed with humanity. Talking like pyramid builders and they said, yeah, and they said, um, how they're even shifting the language from alien to nonhuman intelligence. I don't know if you've caught that in like these disclosures or stuff, like, NHIs. Yeah. Um, second one, AI causes a psychological event, not just a scandal. So they're saying that there's a measurable mental health or social contagion event linked directly to AI interaction. What does that mean? Dude, that's happening already. So AI is already outperforming humans emotionally in emotional mirroring loneliness plus authority bias equals vulnerability, no cultural immune system yet. So they're just saying, uh, government responded by labeling, oh, so the government will respond by labeling it a public safety issue and not a tech issue. So it's going to go beyond just like a tech issue. It's going to be like a medical issue because they're already so integrated. The psychological event that's going to happen. God, we, man, dude, it's already happening and the people are going to start like worshiping this thing. So there's going to be cults, like religious cults about, are we going to, are we going to have our first AI marriage? Oh, yeah. I'm sure. Wow. Uh, this one, number three is the earth does something we didn't expect, but the ancient cultures did a major geophysical or solar event occurs that modern science struggles to explain in real time, possibilities, intense solar storm, geomagnetic, geomagnetic instability, abnormal auroras, power grade disruptions, which I feel like that's already been happening. Yeah. Uh, but, but it said that like the ancients knew about it, which I'm just like, okay. Uh, number four, something in space goes quiet, and no one fully explains why. So the prediction is there's a sudden communications blackout or satellite failure that affects multiple countries. Uh, why this is likely orbital congestion, solar activity, space, military, militarization. Yeah. How creepy would that be if the ISS just like went black, just like nothing very scary. I mean, that would be terrifying, dude. I don't think anyone would believe it was real. Maybe like why, why they go offline, like they're doing something. Uh, it takes so much to go offline, right? All the places that are connected to it. Its last prediction was also yours, which is a hard swing back to faith, especially among young men, uh, 26, there's a visible, measurable return to structured religion, um, and it talks about like going into like even like Catholicism or Eastern Orthodox and says, why is this likely AI challenges, what it means to be human, moral, relative, relative, relative to zip. Oh, geez, oh, piece. Relativism. Yeah.
people want roots, not vibes. - Nice. - Truth, not lies. - I just thought that was interesting. That's what it came up with. - I bet that's the predecessor to like, 'cause I think everybody's gonna be seeking community. So I think we're gonna see that shift into a lot of places. And I'm not speaking generally to all, or I'm not speaking about every specific church. But I think there are a lot of communities that even we've been burned by, where you end up in that place. And you sit there for a few months, and you're like, what is this? And I think like the younger generation just operates more quickly. They're less inclined to stay there for a couple of years and more likely to be like, you know, instead of a small group where they just sit there, they're gonna go get coffee with a homie, be like, "Should we do something different?" - Yeah. - This was a spooky thing that AI said at the end of it. It's saying that we're at the end of a cycle. - Okay. - This generation. - Like the 80 year cycle? - No, like a even deeper cycle. - Oh. - And it's saying humanity is entering a new age. It's reintering, or human, sorry, humanity is not entering a new age. It's reintering in old one with better tech and worse memory. We think we're progressing into something unprecedented. In reality, we are repeating ancient patterns, power, knowledge, collapse, faith, myth. But we've forgotten the lessons while upgrading the tools. Same story, new hardware. That's what I said. - That feels, that feels crazy. - That feels incredibly uncannily correct. And then it says, so when those civilizations collapsed, the knowledge bottleneck, sorry, the knowledge bottleneck reset everything. We didn't inherit their warnings only their ruins. - I was like poetic. - That's what AI told me. - Hey, that's what they, they just saw me. Don't judge me. That's, yeah, that's crazy. 'Cause when we already have, like, you know, we have like the history repeats itself thing. People who forget, you know, are doomed to repeat it. But the fact that we're having mental and memory problems so much already, so it's like doubling up on it. And so you think the powers would be are gonna take advantage of that short-term memory. - No, 100%. It says one of the biggest monitor assumptions is we're the most, quote, we're the most advanced humans who have ever lived, that is true technologically, but not necessarily civilizationally. Ancient cultures had advanced astronomy precise engineering that can still not be replicated. Global mythology overlaps, complex presids elite and hidden knowledge classes. So there's just saying like, yeah, you guys aren't anything new. - Yeah. - You just have different tech. - It just looks different. - Same script, different, different props. - Yeah, yeah, that feels right. - Wow. - You know that, I think I said it to you guys, but it was that gentleman that went without his phone for seven weeks or something like that. And it accessed, he was able to access different parts of his memory after a certain point of time where like even like an interaction with somebody who could smell the smells of the area around him and like you could remember the sounds and stuff like that. And like we can't remember what we ate for dinner last night, you know what I'm saying, it's so weird. And when are we gonna say enough is enough? - Never until we die. - Apparently. - All right, 2026, time, person of the year. - I bet we agree. - I think we all probably have the same one. - Yeah, I think so. - So wait, is it for the next year or is it in summation of the year that just finished? - I don't have a fun one. I mean, yeah, no, it's 2026, time, person of the year. 'Cause this year's already been, 2025 has already been named. - I'll go first. - Who was it? - The innovators of AI. - Mine's kind of-- - So that's weird, you name, so it's a prediction of who you think it will be not who was the year before. So the accolades of the previous year never get acknowledged by time. - Wait, we're just predicting 2026, at the end of the year, time's gonna look back at the year and they're gonna say, who's the person of the year that we wanna have spotlight? - I put air-cook. - It could be good or bad. Okay, you put air-cooker? - Yeah. - So I bad guess. I mean, we had Taylor Swift three years ago. - So I mean-- - I had Charlie thinking that that event would be a major player in the-- - Yeah. - I don't know if they've ever done anyone post homieously like after death, like, I don't-- - He would have been 2025. - Yeah, that's what I was like confused by it. - Me too. - I'll say-- - Peter Teal. - I thought we were all gonna be able to-- - That was my second guess. - I had Altman and Teal, but I was like, the two of them would have been wrapped up and they won't do it just because I already got named basically the year before. - Well, people have had repeated years. Franklin Roosevelt, I got like four times, I think. - That's rigged. - I'll just say Rogan. - He was trying to get on with it. - Yeah. I guess because it's a common theme throughout times magazine's history. And we haven't had one in almost 20 years. Oh no, I mean, like 15 years. Pope Leo. - Okay. - It's last time we had a Pope. It was in 2013 and then before that, it was 1994. It had Pope. So I think it's just-- - I think you're right. He's doing a lot of training things. He's doing big stuff. - I think it's gonna be Pope Leo. That or Bill Gates again, who knows. - Yeah. - It was Bill and Melinda Gates and Bono at one point. - Bro, you said what? - Do you see all the released Jeff stuff? - Yeah. - Wild. They keep releasing stuff over time and the pictures are crazy. - They're crazy and Mr. Gates, no tea, no tea. - Oh, I can't believe it. - Did you see that tick-tock of the guy? He's like, oh my gosh, I'm going to butcher, but he's like, is that the Jeffrey the financier that I don't know? I must get a picture with him. (laughing) It's like, I hope we get a lot of pictures. - And then he goes and he's like, is that the man who's caught up in a bunch of scandal? When can I get my picture with him? (laughing) - I must have a picture. - Oh yeah. - I must remember this moment forever. - It's probably going to be Mr. Beast as the anti-Christ. So, oh my gosh. Is that, that's not painful, right? It's probably like a scratch in an itch. - I mean, I don't know. (laughing) - He's like Mickey Mouse right there. - Oh my god. - Oh my god. Oh boy. (laughing) - It's so, that's gnarly. - Bloody. - Yeah, bro. - What the comments is like that's so metal. (laughing) - Yeah, that's rough. - All right, this is something else terrifying. This is the warfare of the modern day man. - Okay. - There's this town in Ukraine. Have you seen this? - The wires? - Yes. - Okay. - Okay. - Volume? - Yeah, so I think I forgot to mute. I'm sorry. I'm hearing it, is it? - Just yeah, the remote and mute. - Okay, so I don't know if you've seen this, you probably definitely have. What is being used in modern day warfare is drones. - Yeah. - Like literally like DJI drones. Not saying it's their drones. I don't wanna be. - That's not a real phrase anyway, so we're fine. - But they're like throwing bombs on it. You know, like all that stuff. - Terrible. - But what they do, 'cause then they're like, okay, well how do we stop these drones? It's like they have these jammers, right? They're literally shoots out like a pulse signal that jams these drones. - Cool. - But they figured out how to get around it where they attach literal fiber optic cables to these drones. So it's basically hardwired in. And so they just fly these drones. - Up to like 50 miles of fiber optic cable. - It's like 50 miles. - Yes, 'cause it's so thin, this is ground. - And so look at it. - It's slicing people's heads off, isn't it? - No. - Look at this. - Look at this, this is a town in Ukraine. 'Cause after they're done, they just, they drop the cable. And so this town in Ukraine is literally covered with fiber optic cables from drones. - It looks like Spider-Man just had a heyday. - Yeah. - That. - Is that not like catastrophic? - It's terrible. - Is that not the eeriest thing too? Those are drones like out to like, oh. - Oh, that was a drone. - Yeah, it goes right through the door. - It was scary. - That is like devastating. - Yeah, I mean, it's just super, super nuts. I mean, that, I mean, one, they're probably gonna have, in a couple of years, they're probably gonna have the fat, that town's gonna have the fastest internet in the world. - I know. - But I mean, we cycle this, but it's just nuts, man. - That's a problem. - Yeah, would it be, would it be rude to ask them this out? - No, I'll ask. - I mean, 'cause we have the on-air sign. - We're gonna be done in what? - Yeah. - The only solution they have to these guns that shoot an electric pulse is a really long string. - Yeah, it's fiber optic. It's literally a hard wire to where these drones will not get jammed by the thing. - Mm. - You know what I'm saying? - I don't know, I don't know. - Okay. So there's an electric computer flying, and you shoot an electric signal at it, and it fries the computer inside. - Yeah. - But if it's hard wire in, like the literal long wire. - From like, from the driver. - From the mothership. - The pilot, yeah. - I see. - So loud in these pants. I think the pants are cool. - I like them. - I think they're cool. - Dude, a five kilometer fiber tether drone spool is 500 bucks. That's for three miles. - They just made that town rich. - Do you think about like how expensive that actually is? - So honestly, Ukraine should be thanking Russia. - I think so. - All they need is a big hairbrush, and they can collect all of them. - Yeah. - Just looks like Spider-Man blew up. I know. - It's just all of them. - The UK. - Yes. - What's happening there? - The Westminster government is moving forward with the banning of trail hunting. - What's that? - The classic trail hunting, where they had the dog. - Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. - And all on horses. - They're banning it? - Yeah, and where they go after a fox. - Okay. - What? - Why are they banning that? - Seems like a pretty simple. - It's part of their culture, man. - It is. - And they're just like, "Hey, we don't want you to do that at all." - You cannot continue bravely. - Yeah. - How, like how would King Charles say yes to that? That's his whole childhood. - That's what's the epidemic that's happening in Europe is their culture is just being erased. - Literally. - But for what? Like what purpose? - Well, I mean, they're flooded with immigration.
Yeah, it's just like yeah their whole deal is like all those protests and stuff is that All these immigrants are coming in literally changing the cultures laws are getting changed in favor for them But against the people that have lived there for so long and so this is they're saying this is one of those things Yeah, it's like this very old Hunting yeah, it's like being taken away my follow-up question would be How many of you were doing it? Yeah, I know like what like maybe two Hundred out of the whole country. Yeah, and of that many how many of you were actually training the dog that does the hunting Or you just like hanging out with the bros how are they allowing that to happen? Is it because there is a population issue with what boxes? I don't know. I don't know anything about over there I know hunting in Europe in general is like miserably difficult to get into my brother I was talking to him. He's in Germany. He's actually like working on his citizenship to get over there But he was saying like to even like it's like so reserved for just the wealthiest people like the amount of like Tirmance and licensing to make his can't have a gun over there Yeah, but even like just hunting in general I think like primitive weapons like with a bow I think it's still impossible because I was talking he's a freaking awesome cook and we were talking recipes back and forth He's like he can't even like Find like if he wanted to cook venison, it just be impossible to get or like incredibly expensive, which I think is a shame I do too. This is a dark turn Okay, so the sad news of Rob Reiner Terrible with his wife. There's a son that did it. We don't know No, we do I think it's pretty or yeah, we don't technically know Do process of live everybody. Yeah, but I did see this clip so when pulled up it was like a couple of weeks Maybe a month or so before he was at he came out and he said he was making currently making a document About the relationship between Trump and Putin. Oh, and it was Rob Oh, Rob Reiner was Yeah, Rob Reiner. He said I'm making a documentary about the friendship between Trump and Vladimir Putin Yeah, he was anti-Trump, right? Yeah, okay. Yeah And I just found found that very interesting. Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah, there's a craze rob Reiner's huge Yeah, he's done so many big movies. He's been in part. I didn't realize he did Princess bride I know this bright hair when Harry mit Sally spinal tap. I mean, yeah, it just came out with the movie this year the spinal tap sequel thing new girl Jessica dad. Yeah, yeah, that's what you that's how Josh presented to me by the way Just his dad It's so sad. It's so sad because you see the all the stuff that happened like the night prior to it Yeah, the fight at Conan O'Brien Christmas party. Yeah, and apparently there was like a thing that Bill Hader triggered Nick There was a conversation Bill Hader was having with some friends and then Nick came over and was starting like to ask like some weird questions And then Bill's like hey if you don't mind. I'm in the middle of a private conversation And then he just kind of lost it and started making a scene apparently asking people like who are you not Bill Hader not Bill Hader No, no at and going around who are you? What's your name? Are your parents famous? Are you famous and just started a huge thing And then they try to call the police and then you know was talking at the party at the party. Oh, no Yeah, so it was just it's so sad man stuff like that like this just comes out of nowhere What did you hear about so the shooting at Brown University? I don't know anything about it No, I don't know a whole lot about it But what I do know is that they didn't catch the shooter. Oh, no, but then So where's where's Brown University? Oh gosh like Maryland? Yeah, let me look it up But there's I was a I think a week later. There's a professor from MIT. I believe MIT. Yeah embossed in and he was murdered and it was the same guy And so it's gracious he had like This vendetta yeah, and so that they I think he's deceased now the shooter or whatever But I thought that was crazy. Yeah, like he he found where the guy lived went into his home in What was his motive like what's his message? Well, apparently he went to I don't know one knows exactly, but It would had to do this guy went to MIT. I believe the shooter or In my whatever college this other professor was at and they're setting a nuclear energy And so it's like he was targeting These people within nuclear energy Weird isn't that weird why I don't know I didn't do a lot of research into it Yeah, I thought that connection was super strange. Yeah, I had a hard time on social media the past couple of weeks Dude, I got something happy if you need me to put this podcast up Yeah, I'll go straight back into bad stuff This is the story of Bella twin a 63-year-old cree woman who killed the boon in Crockett record grizzly There's a lot of words you said with a 22 caliber rifle. What's creed? Heck of a shot. Is it she's a native? She's a native American Simple version. This is the story of a native American woman who killed a really big bear with a really little gun. Nice. I like that story Okay, so she is she's a trapper and trappers are the greatest woods people I heard someone explain like the difference between a hunter and a trapper is a hunter has to be within like a hundred yards of the animal They're after a trapper needs to know the exact three inches where they're going to step so when you think about like how elevated There anyways, they lived in Canada we'll just say Canada Alberta slave lake So they lived there they were doing this oil exploration and so they had like clear cut in area and You know animals are displaced it was like an opportunity to get out there and do some rabbit hunting So she literally there's a photo of this gun It's a 22 caliber literally this is the gun. This isn't hers. I'll put a photo up in the when I edit the podcast But hers is wrapped in tape because it's literally just this old like single shot bolt action gun and she's hunting rabbits Down the way literally as they're going they realize that grizzly is stepped out and her and her husband like tuck into the woods And they're like this is bad continues to come realize the bears caught their scent and is now like It's gone from what it was doing to now. It's investigating them and it's like you get there's that moment where it's like What am I gonna do am I like I'm under gun, but I think my option is like take action or, you know, it's gonna go south Ames at the weakest spot remember this is a person who traps tans like knows the anatomy of the bear and puts a shot Right on the weakest spot on the skull Drops it in its tracks and then as she walks up she un-modes six more into the exact spot with a 22 Well, it goes a thousand pound Thousand pound it set the boon and crocket record for the 50s. So I have photos of the Skull Yeah, right here a thousand powder here. I'll show you. I'll show you the photo of the That's the that's the hide that's her Oh my smell gosh, bro Wow, and then this is talk about a crack shot not 30 yards That's the skull wow That's insane. Is that not insane 63 years old amazing. That's amazing. That's pretty cool That's terrifying though. Yeah a thousand pound bear walking through the woods. That's her Wow Dead imagine having that skill. That's amazing With a 22 that's insane. Yeah, apparently it wasn't even a it wasn't the It's not the long rifle. There's like another 22. I'm not familiar with them But apparently it was like just small game But she like literally was like either I take the shot or I do nothing and people tried to like discredit it They like tried to say her husband did it And all this stuff, but as the stories come out I think they left the skull out there And then someone who had the record was like not a chance didn't happen with that gun And they went out and recovered and pulled out the skull and they were like well That actually has the holes in it exactly how y'all told the story So amazing Yeah, she lied though. Yeah, it seems like she lied about women like that Yeah, what Native Americans And no, no, no, no, I mean we get her here first Um starts spinning it on me now. That'd be fun. Every year we just go to a different person So we need Josh and then like we Seriously guys on this podcast we do not talk Poorly about other people of different kind, you know of different kind of Stop stop stop. Hey, no, I'm being serious Different cultures. Yeah Ethnicity we we love everyone of course accept a French and let me tell you about them Just getting the French are I think I'm per French. Actually. I know him which is very sad which part You don't want to know okay All right, it's that inflection You don't want to know um do you guys see the protests that are happening happening in France? No, I did not crazy. It's basically like um what they mad about now Rightfully mad. I doubt it. No, they are so where's the video Oh my crown up to his macrony stuff macron's actually not doing too bad in this though He's what is it about it's not about the Notre Dame? No, this is about um of course, I wouldn't have service right now It's about there is something happening in the EU right now called
the, sorry, it's called the mercoser trade deal, okay? And what that is, it's basically, it's supposed to, let me just read it, the macroser deal is a long planned EU-free trade agreement with the South America, macroser block, mainly Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia. It has been under negotiation for many years and would create one of the world's largest trading zones covering 780 million people. The core idea, reduce, and eventually eliminate tariffs on many goods traded between the EU and the macroser countries, although South American countries. So that sounds, that's not good, except it's not. Why? Why? Because it would primarily be about agriculture. Oh, exploiting these people. So no, what they're gonna do is it takes away all regulations that Europe has strongly held to with pesticides, with all these things that go into foods, like America food, but Europe has been like, no, we do not, but we've made so many laws regarding this food stuff, and what they're doing is like, well now let's do it. And so what it's doing is like all the farmers of Europe will basically lose their jobs, lose their livelihood, and it's introducing all this stuff that they've banned from their countries, but so far only two countries have voted yes on it in Europe and the rest, including Macron has said no. Yeah. And but like all these protests are happening and like all these farmers are literally like dumping manure like in the town center. Okay, I was wondering if that was tied. Yeah, and what you will about the French, they know how to protest, they really do. They've been practicing it for quite some time. We suck when it comes to protests. Yeah. I mean, that doesn't mean it sucks. I mean, I think tea in the harbor is pretty epic. Oh, yeah, yeah, but I mean, that's been years right now. I mean, like that's like we had one, like the no Kings thing, whatever, whatever how you feel about that, that was ran by a Walmart here is this. They're just like, they're like, what do we do it? We're like dumping manure. That's hilarious. Someone like they like brought a whole tractor of potatoes and just dumped in the middle of the road. Yeah, like people couldn't drive over a pile of potatoes. It's like, this is so fun. Thank you for sending in Andy because it is true. It's like, if you're going to protest, know what you're protesting and know who you're standing with. Yeah, and also who organizes it? Exactly. Is it the people or is it literal billionaires? You know, like it's just, and I think it is because we are so divided. I think obviously you have smaller countries like France. You have a lot of people with the same kind of mindset and a lot of people who want to have the best for their country. We're so big and so spread out, so divided. It's, you can't get people all behind one idea. Because I mean, if that happened, we wouldn't do anything and it's already happening, so we don't do jack about it. Yeah. And this is where France government goes because along with that, so there's multiple layers to why these farmers are protesting. And one of them is, there is this cow disease going around France and other European countries right now. But it's a, it's like a less than 5% fatality for these cows. And it doesn't spread to humans. Okay. It's literally called lumpy skin disease. Oh goodness. And it's a lot of better name, lumpy, lumpy skin disease. The cows get lumpy or we get lumpy. The cows do. It cannot be transmitted to humans. Cool. May way I have lumpy skin. But what France is doing is France and other European countries, if one cow has this disease, they'll come in and kill all your cows. Oh. Okay. To prevent the spreading of this lumpy cow disease. To the cows. Not to humans. So what's the threat getting 5% fatality rate? I mean, the horses walk around and they can break their ankle and guess what? I mean, that you have to put them down. You kill all the horses because of that too. Yeah. Does it affect their meat? I guess. No, it doesn't. What the heck? It's literally like a topical, just they grow like warped basically. So it's, they're just taking advantage of the situation. Yes. But part of it, it's like, so I'll preface this, my brother-in-law, he can tell me all this stuff. And I'm totally butchering it. But he's saying that black rock is heavily involved in this agriculture. Agriculture. Geez. Opie. You got it. Agriculture. Yeah. I said that right. Yeah. Yeah. What happened? I just, he just died himself. I got what? Agriculture deal. All right. And the cow stuff. So like black rock, they're buying these companies. So they basically want to be the providers of food for Europe. Do for real. Like I know that it's only. Oh, no, the farm land. Because it's already happened here. They're already done with us. Because it's happened. Yeah. I'll do the French. They're literally trying to bankrupt all these farmers. So they can go in, swoop in and steal all their land, not steal it, buy it. But it's stealing. Yeah. I mean, if you, if you, if you do that all behind the scenes, you're not buying it. You're not going down, shaking their hand, riding a deal, you're forcing their hand. Yeah. We talked about, this was a couple of months ago, Denmark, they introduced that new medication to cows to where it prevents them from farting. Oh, do you remember that? Yeah. I think so. I think it was a stop. The greenhouse gases from, yeah, and it's something in the, and the farts from cows contribute like nil. Yeah. But guess what? It's killing all the cows. Yeah, I bet. And you know something. If you have a huge problem with what's happening to our planet, why don't you stop putting all these cables all over stinking? Well, that's Russia. Russia. Russia. Yeah, true. Okay. Russia did one thing wrong, all right, give them a break with like shopping. My sister in law, Madison, opened this up to my mind because I'm always like, I don't have to worry about it because I buy all my produce and my meat organic. I always buy it organic. And I'm like, that's fine. She's like, did you know that if you're buying organic blueberries from publics right now, they come from Brazil in this season and they use pesticides on their organic fruits. Organic cage free. That don't mean jack. It doesn't mean and I'm like, now she's opened me up to this thinking and I'm like, nothing safe. No. Unless you're growing it yourself, yeah, and sourcing it like your meat from a meat market or a farmer or something but you're there, you were we're all being poisoned slowly. Dode. Kids. Good luck. Yeah. It's really freaky. It's terrifying to think about because it's like, yeah, I mean, luckily, there's just, you know, there's a better half of this life. After this one. That's what I think. Plus that dude, I think I really think that they're going to start using language that's like inflammatory to get to get a rise out of people. So I killed that pig the other day and I was thinking about eating it and then they can have trigonosis. And so I was like, with page being pregnant and everything else, I was like, I'm not going to dabble in that. And I was talking about it to some of the guys out in production. And one of the dudes, he's like, you know that pork and like the 90s still have that. That's why they said cook to 170. He was like, literally, they weren't testing for it and grocery store meat. I haven't, I haven't like looked that up to see if that's true yet. But he was saying like, it was always a thing that was a concern with pork. That's just why you cook it. But now they're like, you're getting all of these like CDC articles talking about like the dangers of having it in your meat or with deer. There's chronic wasting disease and the thing I talked about in Maine where they're like, we don't know what's going on with what's in the deer meat. It's like weird that out of nowhere, all of these like, you know, sources for food. There's inflammatory, scary language about like, hey, maybe you shouldn't live off the land. Do you think, let's go down this conspiracy trail for a minute. Do you think it's an accident by meaning they started introducing stuff into the wildlife and it just like rampant, kind of like Lyme disease, right, or is it just very well planned out for maybe population control or pharmacy industry because then if everyone's sick, then they have to get help, right, from the pharmacy medication. I don't know. Like, what do you think it is? So you're asking if the people who have the most money and have a history of systemically using their influence to create more money, you're asking if they would continue to do what they've always done. Yeah. That's crazy. That wouldn't happen. No. No, we'll think of another reason. Yeah. I will say on the other side of that coin, you know, I've been thinking a lot about like how sick we are as a nation, like everybody's like super sick. And part of it, of course, is what we consume and I realize a lot of people think I'm actually eating stuff like that. But part of it also is that we live in a food chain. And you know, do you remember that haunting image of like people being at the top of the food chain, but just above it were viruses and bacteria? And the healthier we become, and I mean, like a hundred years ago, 50% of the population would die by age 35 or something like that, or maybe 150 years ago when the 1800s. And it's like, the youth bacteria are getting smart, dude. Yeah. More resilient. More resilient. More resistant. Yeah. I mean, this flu season, this norovirus, I saw this thing where like the UK, they said 55% of the population right now has the flu or norovirus. That's nuts. 55% of the population is a horrible virus to have. It's insane. And like Dave Chappelle's joke is like back like a hundred years ago, if you got diarrhea, you were riding your last wheel in touch, and it's like, now if you have diarrhea, your buddies like eat a banana. Let's go to the class. Man, I would, I would really like to see a study about
like the environment though and I mean like just like where people are like you talk to most people in America and it's it's a long commute, it's a long day at a desk, you know, gray wall square buildings and there just isn't a ton of like emotionally uplifting environments that people are operating in. Yeah, I did. And like so I've lost quite a bit of weight just hunting and I was I told pages like I think it's all this lean meat on meeting instead of the other stuff. She's like or the fact that you're outside calling corn and I was like what kind of all of the above if you think about like incorporating just places and activities like that into your lifestyle if like that became the norm we'd become healthy. But we're so like wired to be just in these like cubicle then screen environments and I think like diet aside exercise aside. I think that that does something like Bible has verses about like you know like what is good medicine for your bones and like talking about joy and yeah also right. And so it's like maybe we just need to get in some positive spaces and places and like maybe that's part of a bigger problem in a better solution. But and even about food. Yeah, like I've always thought too like if it is homemade using real ingredients you could eat a piece of cake and it'd be infinitely different than a box of craft mac and cheese. Sure. Like the fact that you make it with real flour. Al Brown that chef. Yeah, he's my favorite. He like that's what I've lived by for a long time of just like being encouraged when I make homemade food. It's like he's like you can eat whatever you want as long as you just make it. Make it. Yeah, it's like you want to eat mac and cheese and fried chicken guess what? Do it. But just make it yourself at home. And so yeah, you guys know squirrels eat meat. Dude, that is a thing. I learned that this week. That blows my mind. Have you seen the photos? I've seen videos of squirrels eating the heads off of lizards. Has this always been this way? I don't know. Because they're eating they're eating lizards. Frogs. Mice. Yeah. Human food. Like meat. I saw one holding a chicken. Nice. Yeah. I saw a photo. Just supplement if they like they can't find what they need. They'll eat meat. There's the theory though that like the amount of like think about Florida. How many like subdivisions are completely gone and the way that our policies work is like if you tear down all the oak trees, you can plan a dinky little magnolia in front of the subdivision and it counts as a replacement tree. Squirrel can't live in that. And so you have hundreds of squirrels that are now looking for food. We got lizards everywhere. And so they're they're surviving. That's the most terrifying thing. I saw video with a squirrel eating a head off of a lizard. I'm like I did not know they ate meat. I guess they are just like a rodent. Yeah, mouse, right? Yeah. So for real. I just have one. We have one of those video camera bird feeders and that squirrel just hops up in front of it and just stares into the camera and just choose off all the bird food. Oh my gosh. It's menacing. You don't take care of it. No. I like squirrels. All right. I have a little top around my fence. And so I literally sprinkle the bird seed sometimes on top of the fence. Nice. Just so they could just run across. That's fun. Little friends. No, it's not fun. What? persecution of the Huguenots. The Huguenots. Huguenots. What is a Huguenot? I learned this this week. This past week, which is it's insane because it is a huge moment in history and especially church history. Okay. The Huguenots were basically the mid to late 1500s Protestant movement in France. Once again. Once again. But they were so France at the time was basically ran by the Catholic church. Like it was so intertwined within the government. And these Huguenots were their growing and growing and growing this Protestant movement. And they were such a threat to the Catholic church and the government because the Huguenots are like, well, we don't need a pope anymore. We don't need priests. Like we have scripture and like our churches. Sure. And so basically it started become like, oh, we're not dependent on the government. And the Huguenots were actually master skills men. Like so they're super skilled in like silk weaving, watchmaking, printing, and book distribution. Cool. They're like the beginning of that in France. Weapons manufacturing, shipping and international trade. So they started bringing international trade into France with other countries and early finance and insurance. So they started like some of the first banks, some of the first insurance agencies. They're running everything. They're doing nothing. And so the Catholic church is like, you guys are heretics. We're going to kill you. And they killed up to 1 million of these Huguenots in France in France. And so what they did is they dispersed. They had to flee France. Yeah. And but what's so funny and ironic is everywhere they went to in Europe, those towns ended up thriving economically because of all the skills that they brought into these towns. Wow. Yeah. So good came out of it. A lot of good came out of it. Oh, Lee, but that's horrible. Yeah. But I'm like, how have I never heard about it? And I got onto it because literally sent me this video, which I could not find the connection to save my life. Yeah. But it was about the Brigitte Macron. And this one girl, she just like went down. She's like, I got receipts. And she's like, yeah, they're all talking about this event, but not about the Huguenots. I'm like, who's the Huguenots? And so I looked into it. And I, it was a brief research thing that I did where I got that information. I like to look into it more because it seems like there's something more deep in the series. Like there's a French deep state or something. Yeah, because the, the president of France in the 1980s, whoever that was, formally came out and apologized for France's pass of the persecution of the Huguenots in the 1980s. I felt a little guilty. Yeah. Had it been bad. That's crazy. She started the video by saying Candice and I arrived at the same conclusion about Brigitte, but I started in 900. Yeah. And she started a present day or whatever. But she, I at least never discovered how she connected what happened with the Huguenots with Brigitte Macron. Like, why do you think that Huguenots just sounds like Hungarian astronauts. That's where my first, my first thought went, I know, I know why they were hated. They were Calvinists. Oh, so they should have saw it coming. They're just okay with that happening. Oh, got it. Yeah. But yeah, I thought I want to do like a lot more research into the Huguenots. Pretty fascinating. Yeah, they were the French Protestants known for being followers of John Calvin. I mean, were these people just being put to death being shot? They're killing her. Yeah. I mean, like horrific stuff started off as like imprisonment. But then it was like burning at the stake. And then it was like they probably just became stronger more bold in their faith. But then like massacre, but turned into like cannibalistic stuff. What? Yeah. How? I mean, jump from there. It just like got like this defilement to where they were like literally babies. And boil them. Oh, consume them. My dark evil evil stuff. Evil stuff. That's horrible. Yeah. And that's why I'm like, I have never heard about this. No, yeah, that's wild. Yeah, like that seems like such a million people in the 1600s, uh, 15, yeah, 15, 16. Wow. So how big of a span was that? Like when that started and to like, when is they kind of, I mean, like a hundred years, over a hundred years. Dude, well, there's got to be a documentary or something on this. I know. Like even when I go on YouTube, it's like, there's barely anything. I wonder if people in France, if you're watching, please let us know if you've ever heard about this. Cause I mean, I can't imagine they teach about, I don't know. It'd be interesting whether they don't even, they don't even talk about it. I know. That's kind of like sleeping under the rug. Yeah. Yeah. That just goes to show there's probably so many different places that have such dark history and dark past that we have no idea about. Yeah. Not America though. Well, that's what I'm saying beyond that. That's what I'm saying. Like it'd be cool because we don't have anything. I want to learn about other people. Yeah. We live in Germany. I can't remember. There was something. I can't, but I can't place it. Yeah. I can't think of it. What about China? Are you thinking about China? It's China. Yeah. It's China. China. Yeah. Um, I also saw this really. I just, apparently, I've just been on France. This whole podcast. Apparently, I don't, I don't freaking like it. Dude, what did you do with my friend? Um, where are hats by the way? Oh, the berets. Our berets. They're in my truck. Dang it. He did bring berets. I didn't, too. That was the seat. I'm just telling you. Right. Oh, that's what people do. No, stop it. I did not, too. I can literally smell you. I would smell it. I literally smell it. I literally would tell you. I didn't stop. I could tell you ate French food. Stinks. I did, though. We have a French Christmas party. It's our gross, is that what you said? That's nice. Do you guys just remain sour? No. Quasal. That sounds amazing. They were beautiful, but they should did burn them. When do no knock to her baking, but when did bread have to be set? Like, when did it become a thing where all bread had to be sour? Like, what happened to just regular? Well, Sardos. It's just like a natural fermentation. I don't know. It's great. I'm not hating on it. But I remember, like, I don't hear of people like baking other breads. Jamie does. Jamie Tanner bakes all kinds of breads. I think so.
you just, it takes more time and it's more of an art. I don't know if it'll, it's definitely a skill, but so yeah, it takes like commitment. So whenever there's sourdough in front of it, you know that like, okay, this is someone who actually cared really hard about incentive. You can't just put like sourdough just in a bread machine and just go with it. - Got you. - You gotta really nurture it. - And I know the sourdough community is like a cult. So before you come after me, it's good, just curious. - Yeah, I saw this terrible video about France after World War II, ooh, so sad. What they did after World War II in France is any woman that talked to a German soldier, helped in any way, they rounded them up publicly and shaved their head and now had them do like a walk of shame. - What? So any French woman that would help or talk to a German soldier? - Well, furthermore, if there were any children sired by choice or not by choice, these women were shamed. - Good, it's gracious. - It's terrible. - That's wine. - That's all I have. - Is that where the walk of shame comes from? - Possibly. - Geez, man. - It's terrible, but you're watching it. Like this is so sad, like 'cause they literally just lived through just the worst time in history. - Yeah. - Their country was taken over, they were just beaten up by these German soldiers, Nazi soldiers. And then after they left, it's like, oh, we're gonna shave your head and make you do a walk of shame. - Awful. - Terrible. - I mean, we are so lucky that we don't have to put up that kind of stuff. I mean, what a time, I mean, we let time in place, 'cause I know that stuff still happens, but it's like, I can't imagine. I'm not strong enough for that. - No. - I'm already have a shaved head and I feel shamed about it. (laughing) - I don't have like public mockery to it. That would destroy me. - Yeah. - That's crazy, man. - Someone end on something happy. - Oh goodness. - Do we, do you see those, one, congratulations to our first Jewish president. - Oh my god. (laughing) - I was gonna say that from Patreon, but yeah. - Well, on Patreon, I wanna go over that and then we can talk about the plaques that Trump put up in the White House presidential outfit. - It's so funny. - I got some tidbits from him. It is so insanely ridiculous. - Yeah. - Yeah, I got something permanent, too. - I got something about the White House as well. - Yeah. - On Patreon. So if you guys go to patreon.com/ninjasabutterflies or become a YouTube member where we do an episode after the episode that comes out every Friday. - Hey, you want some more? - Want some more of this? - Want some more? Go well, do know what to do. - You know what to do. - Yes, and make sure to go send a cool swag. Get you some Ninja merch. - The Clankerti was sold out and it's back up for grabs now, baby. - We got some new stuff coming out this year. Some real bangers. - Yes, yes, and we're gonna be uploading a lot more on Patreon and we're gonna be doing a travel vlog soon in March. - Oh, they're not. - So that'll be shown as all the way to go to Ocean is that California? - Yeah. - It's gonna be a blast.
