Really? Yes. And we get in, like, a little bit of some fights about it. Yeah, it's scary. Because it's in public. You know how cringe that is for me? We're, like, across the street, about to cross the street, and he screams and people are like, what happened to that man? Like, he's dying or something. Yeah. Like, the response is horrible. That's true. If it sounds like someone's in trouble. He woke up cold once, and I was like, you're done. And he was like, I'm done. And was he able to stop? Yes. So it was a choice all along. And I have to ask you, do you ever look over, or are you just like. Oh, you got to stay looking at the tile. Wait, look at the tile. You do not look to the sides, because you just don't want to look. Because they want to start a conversation, you think? Uh, no. No. But I am not able to talk while at the urinal. Some dudes will be talking at the urinal. No, no, no, no, no. One time, I was at a movie theater, and after the movie, the urinals are just packed, right? So, like, I'm at the urinal, but I hear a guy, like, as he's trying to zip up, he says, pretty audibly, he just goes, oh, fuck, I pissed myself. Me and my buddy walked out of the bathroom, we were just dying laughing. Okay, wait. So, we filmed a sketch called Every Bathroom Ever, forever ago. Like, a long time ago, where we were in a, and you guys had me in this crazy, costume as a guy, like, yelling at the urinal, and I was like, this is funny, but that never happens. That's an exaggeration, but no, some guys are, like, kind of loud. They're, like, kind of like, they needed to pee really bad, so I guess they're feeling relief, and they're. That's so funny to me, because women are another level. Yeah. See, they're trying to, like, keep it quiet, but what comes out is not quiet. Racehorse. They'll, like, be like, click, click, click, click, click, click, when they're choosing to go in, it's like, yo, boy. Bro. It's frying. Chicken. And they're, like, oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. Yes, it's very campy. And I think I need to reinvent purple because amethyst is my birthstone. Yeah, I mean, you could go more of like a lavender. Like, lavender is really nice. I love lavender. Yeah. It is. It's so pretty. I literally used to wish and pretend my birthstone was amethyst when I was younger. I wanted it to be my color so bad. I mean, it can be. You can wear it. You can wear it. I do. She does. Relax. Okay. But I am curious about this alexandrite. Rare color changing, you said? Maybe it changes in the sun. Do you care more about color or like texture or like tone? Because I realize like when people ask me what's my favorite color, I'm like, it kind of just depends on. Isn't it orange or yellow? I would say like overall, like I would pick orange, but really what matters to me is more like. Tone. Kind of the shade, but more the texture. Like the texture of things. Like, you know, red can be really nice, but like a red gemstone versus like a red like paint job on a car. Like some context. I like the car paint job rather than the gemstone. Yeah. Like I like earth tones a lot. So I almost like any color if it's an earth tone. You know, I like that a lot. I like reddish orange. So I, to answer your question, mine's tone. Mine is like the shade. I prefer more earthy tones of certain colors or more like paler. Colors like, like a red, like a bright red. Like I don't love that bright red, but I would love like that mixed with that orange. Okay. Yum. Cool. I love red everything except for can't wear red hats anymore. Yeah. It's sad because it could be a jump scare from the back. Yeah. I did have a hat. I got, I got like a red corduroy hat and I wasn't thinking about it. It's such a good vintage hat. It was a really cool hat. And I walk in and Kiana kind of looks at me and she goes, Oh, jump scare. And I go, Oh, ah, fuck. Yeah. It's like, Oh dang. They worry and they have a deep desire to be very helpful and solve problems. Yeah. I struggle sometimes with work where I'm like, what is the purpose of this work? I really struggle with that. I think a lot of things with me can go back to that. Right. Cause I've talked a lot about like things that I enjoy doing, right? Like, Oh, like watching TV shows or playing a video games or even like trying to pick up new hobbies, like, like drawing or something. I, I tend to go like, what's this lead to? What's the purpose? Like, what's, what does this serve? You need to have a purpose. And I'm like, if there's like a community thing that it leads to, right? Like, like if I was like, Oh, I'm going to pick up knitting and then I'm like, what am I doing this for? But then it was like, what if it was like, Oh, there's a shortage of blankets in the community. Yours has to be like. And they need people to knit. I'd be like, Oh great. So I'm doing this thing for a thing. Connected to solving problems. You don't want mindless work. I, I, the only Virgo I have to compare this to is my mom. And we're so alike. You guys. Honestly, it's hard to, it's hard to tell. Honestly, you kind of are a little bit, she is, she is hilarious. You do get to meet her. I've met her a few times and she has said hilarious shit to me. Yeah. You met her a few times. She says the funniest stuff that I cannot repeat here. Everyone's like, would you ever want your mom on? And I was like, honestly, I would. There's also something. Cause your mom has been such a giving person throughout her life, like her career and everything. She's such a conscientious person. But sometimes those people are the ones that say the craziest shit. Yeah. They say the craziest thing. And also like my mom. This is how my mom thinks about me. Yeah. She thinks about a job is she'll work until 10 at night, which she did pretty much every night of my childhood so that we could go on a trip. That's how she thinks about work is like, I'm only doing this so I can get cash for this. Right. Like that's what she would do. She would massage all night. And then if I needed cash for like a school thing, like here's the cash. Right. Like that's just very sweet. But she also is just like, she works really hard and she plays really hard. Yes. Like she plays really hard. You were telling me about stuff she's doing now at 70. And I was like, dude. She's not 70 yet. Two years. Oh shit. Oh, she's almost there. She's the same age as my mom. No way. Wow. Yeah. My mom's 68. Yeah. She's, she's almost 70. Wow. And she wants to do a big thing. But she's like my mom where she's talking about like, well, for my 70th, I want to do that. And I'm like, that's two years away. Why do you? Yeah. No, she's, my mom's like on her way to Sicily too. That's awesome. It's nice to have things to look forward to. Because she just works so hard. She'll never retire. Wow. It's so hard to do. She doesn't do materialistic things. She like works to. It's awesome. But yeah, you guys are similar, man. Yeah. I would say like sometimes you can just do things for you and you is enough. I know. And like, you know this cause you, you, you're there for me like every day, every week where I'm like, yeah, I just don't, I don't know what I should do. I I'm like, and I'm like overthinking everything. And you're just always like, you should just be good to yourself. And I'm like, I know I should, I think the craziest, the craziest thing was when Smosh you're doing, you're doing Smosh and when you were a regular on the Goldbergs and other stuff you were doing and you're like, I don't know if I'm doing enough. It was like, bro, you have two full on jobs right now. I like you do more in a month than some people do in their whole life. I still really struggled though. Like I, cause like I love working here and like we, we put in so many hours here and do so much stuff here, but like I am still sad. I really want to, and it is a genuine goal to like upload more on my own channel and just like not worry about it. But obviously. The video I made last year was like on perfectionism cause that was me trying to get past it. But I still am like, Oh, if I'm going to make a video, it has to be good. to be all these things and then i put too much pressure on it and then i don't do it i'm kind of i'm kind of similar yeah to that but i think what i when i say that it's like oh i want to do more things like i recognize deep down like i want to do more things for me and just for the process of making which is really hard nowadays in our society that's just we're so like everything's so scrutinized and we're all every like everybody's judging themselves so hard unlike the quality of work whatever and um but i'm like i want to get past that i want to be someone who is like free and just making stuff for fun so that's that's been a goal for a long time be free i know be free what have you just filmed yourself like tending to your plants and you were just talking about this recent book you read i think i i my my plan and i even filmed a whole video last year that i then scrapped of me talking about my favorite books and that's probably going to be the next thing i think truly i will record myself for like you know 10 minutes and i'm going to record myself for like 10 minutes and i'm going to record myself for like 10 minutes and i'm going going to record myself for like 10 minutes and i'm going to record myself for like 10 minutes and i'm going to record myself for like 10 minutes and i'm going to record myself for like 10 minutes to 30 minutes like talk about something and then like i can't help but think i'm like why would anybody want to watch this like that's the voice in my head going like why the fuck would anyone want to listen to this or watch this like it's just me talking um but then again i then go on youtube and i watch people talking but i i in my head i'm going well these people are so interesting and they have such an interesting point of view unlike me but then like sir it's tough when i'm also by myself like i do so well playing off of people that that's what i've gotten good at so but it's another muscle that i want to work on and it's such a skill that i'm so impressed by youtubers who are just alone in a room talking i'm like that's such a skill that is a skill and i'm very impressed by it and um but they just do it for hours and hours and hours so they get past that point because sometimes we'll bring in youtubers to hear where we're such an ensemble and you can tell there's like that layer of discomfort and crushing it you can tell they're just like not used to this yes and it's like yeah because it's a different muscle but i'm not used to it and i'm not used to it and i'm not used to it and i'm not used to it and i'm not used to it um really quick have you seen all the pictures of you around in this room oh yeah have you looked at them all though no like there's new ones for you oh my god i didn't see them oh wow why what is this clip of you on is that henry danger when you're that is henry danger where i was obsessed with socks these the tom holland's relationship because they are like the top celebrity couple and they're a gemini virgo couple wait really yeah it's the gemini tom holland's the gemini zendaya is the virgo which i think like um whoa i feel like i'm the zendaya of our relationship i saw some comment recently that said people are saying we give that energy i'm like that is the biggest compliment to ever give Big surprise books? No, just a big surprise that he wants to talk about books. Oh, I thought you meant like a big surprise. I don't know if that's like a semicolon, colon, or something. Big surprise, colon, books. Yeah, I love books. I feel like it's been coming up a lot of books I'm reading, but I really love books. I'm trying. My goal this year is to read 52 books. Last year was 50. 50, and I was like, can I read a book a week? I am behind by eight books right now. A book a week is crazy, man. I know, it's tough. The problem is more so, I at this stage think book goals are kind of stupid because books vary in length. So it's like, you pick, I'm like, I'm reading 52 books, but what if I read a book that's 500 pages? What is the typical length of a book that you read and enjoy? It's probably averages between 300 and 400. Like, that's kind of the average novel length, but I've been talking about, I've been reading this series called Dungeon Crawler Carl, which is awesome. But these books now are like 500, 600 pages, right? And they are like, you can kind of read them fast because they are, you know, it's like, it's a story that's moving along at a certain pace, which makes it easier. Sometimes literary. Fiction, like something that's a little more character focused, even if it's like 200 pages, it can take a while because it's not like, oh, you're just following a story. It's kind of like delving into a character. And so you can use your place a little bit easier. Like a lot of like classic fiction, right? Like, you know, you read like something like old school. It's like, okay, you got to really follow along. You know what I like? Because smut books, I swear to God, they're way too long. I love them, but they're like 800 pages. Damn. You know what I like with some of them is the first. Almost like three pages. They'll have almost like a glossary of characters. I love a glossary. Dungeon Crawler Carl, my biggest, my biggest gripe with it is that it really doesn't have enough of that. And not only are there like 5 million characters, it's kind of in within a video game, which means everybody's kind of got a bunch of items on them. And that stuff comes back up a lot. And it's really cool that in the book, they're like going along. It's like, oh, they found this, like this stick of dynamite. And he's like, oh, I put it in. I put it in my pocket. And then it's like, it doesn't get brought up. And then suddenly, like two books later, it's like, oh, we're facing this monster. Oh, throw the dynamite that we have. That's a fun little surprise. I know. But it's like, I wish I could keep track of it because I see a little work in like, truly, I need to like be writing stuff down. And I'm still it's a habit I've not gotten good at is like annotating, not necessarily to go back and look at my notes, but to annotate while you're reading, like just helps you remember stuff. Yeah. Like if you write stuff down and just circle, it's just like, OK, I'm just I was doing it a bit with. I was just reading where I'm like kind of just highlighting names. I'm just like, OK, I'm just keeping track of that name. And then as I move on, I'm like, OK, now I remember the name a little better. But I wish there was a little bit like of an inventory stuff. You should have like a mini workbook in the book. I love that. You could have like with pencil. With big fantasy books. I don't want to go to work. I'm already reading. Sometimes that's fun for me. I hear you. I do. But with some fantasy books and sci-fi, you need it because my God. I bet. There's so many. Holy shit. This is why I like almost every single. Every single fantasy book that I've ever read has a map, which I enjoy. I'm like a beautiful map. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Or they'll have like how you say things. But I think a glossary. Didn't Circe have a glossary? Am I crazy? I think she does. I was going to bring her up. So Madeline Miller is probably my favorite author. She wrote Song of Achilles and Circe, which she majored in like Greek mythology and Greek history. So she knows all of the Iliad, the Odyssey and all the myths, but she kind of retells them and fills in a lot of. Gaps or like in the best way, the best way. And so she tells the story of Circe, who is a sorceress. Probably that's probably like a very bare minimum explanation of her. But I haven't read it in a long time. God of the Sun, I think. But she keeps like she has all the like info of these gods and heroes and stuff in the back. I love those books so much. I know she has a short story out now. And I know I think she's working. Her next book is on Persephone. That's what I'm reading right now. I need to read Circe still. Dude, Circe. I've read Song of Achilles. Song of Achilles, I think, is the better story. But I think Circe is a better book, if that makes sense. Yes. That's your opinion. Circe was really fun. That's my opinion. That's my view. Circe and they're both incredible. I'm reading Receiver of Many. I don't know if many people have heard of it. Oh, is that smut? It's smut, but it's like, I know it sounds. But no, that's Hades. One of his names is Receiver of Many. I know. Sounds smutty, but it is God of the Underworld, Receiver of Many. So it's Hades and Persephone's story. But she originally started as Kori, which means maiden. Cool. And her mom, what's her mom's name? Demetrius or Zeus's wife? Oh, no, you're thinking Hera? No, Demeter. Demeter's not Zeus's wife, though. Hera is Zeus's wife. One of Zeus's lovers that he had a baby with. Many. Persephone is promised to Hades. Giver of Many. Receiver of Many. Could mean double things. But that's what I'm reading about. And I don't know a lot of information on Persephone, actually. Most of my info for Greek mythology is from those books and then Hades and Hades 2. So it's probably not accurate. I have very, like, neat retellings, fun retellings of it. So fun. I am listening to, and I listened to the previous ones a long time ago, but Stephen Fry has a bunch of books of retellings of the Greek mythology, Greek heroes. And then I'm listening to his telling of Troy of the Iliad, which has been incredible. He tells it in, like, the most simplistic way possible, which I love. And then he has the next one. Which is the Odyssey. That's great. It's a blast. I love it because in his telling, like, in all of Greek mythology, like, the gods are there, but they're just, it's kind of like a reality show. Like, they're all these jealous assholes who are also just affecting the things that people are dealing with. I love it. Reading is so important. And I, like, I forget who has said it, but it's like, if you've read many books, you've lived many lives. And, like, Shane will be reading so many books. Like, I'll see, like, every day I feel like I see a different book in his hand. And I'm almost, like, I feel like I'm missing out on, like, a party. In your life. You know, like. He should give you a book review. I mean, he does. Sometimes. Sometimes. I don't see this. And you go. Sometimes. I love you. Sometimes. I love you. Sometimes. I know what you're going to bring up. I know. I'll be eating a meal or doing something, and then I'll hear something, and I'll look up, and suddenly he's explaining a book to me. Oh, I've seen this occur. I've seen this occur at lunch. Yeah, but also simultaneously. Simultaneously. Yeah, like, I'll just. And it's oftentimes I'm just talking out loud. Because, no, because it helps you remember the book. Yeah, I'm, like, just kind of like, yeah, this is crazy. And it's good, and I want, and I should, I want to listen. No, you do. But sometimes it's like, oh, okay, I'm on a roller coaster. I didn't want to get on. No, do you know what? I actually relate to this so much because I'm similar. I'll go up to H and just talk about something that's happening. Yes, I do, too. So I started to go, hey, do you have a second to listen to this right now? I will have to do that because sometimes it's like he's in the middle of something, and he's very narrow focused, like, when he's focused. Yeah, me, too. And so I have to, and it's, oh, totally fine. But I'm like, do you have a second to talk about this? And then it's like, then I get the attention because I do similar things. Yeah, and to bounce back, like, there's plenty of times, Courtney, where you're calling. I do it back. You're calling me, and you're, like, telling me about your day. And I'm like, that's so crazy. And then you're like, are you playing video games right now? And I'm like, yeah. I also relate to that, too. No, but I love it. That's so, that's crazy. I also fucking relate to that, where H goes. Yeah. Click, click, click, click, click. Oh. Oh. Uh-huh. I'm like. Yeah. Are you on again? And for people listening, though, like, you and I are kind of almost in a constant dialogue because, like, we're together all day, every day. So it's like those moments happen. You did, the other day, though, we were eating, I remember, and you were asking me about the book that I was reading, and, like, it's a very literary fiction book, and I was truly, like, I remember just being like, yeah, it's crazy. And you're like, what's it about? And I'm just like, it's just this crazy book. And I was truly, because I was like. I was like, I still don't know what I'm reading right now. And I was like, do you like it? And I was like, yeah. And now that I've finished it, like. What's the book? So it's called Audition by Katie Kitamura. It's getting all sorts of awards and stuff for this year. And it is a really good book. It's short, but it's hard to follow. And basically, it's a woman meets this young man who claims to, like, I don't want to actually explain too much because it's so short. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But the book is basically split into two narratives and two completely competing realities. And by the end of the book. Trying to be like, which one's real? Like, what is her real life? It's kind of interesting because it's, like I said, this is one where it's not a straightforward story. It's a little bit more of like a challenging literary experiment. And it kind of challenges you on like what your judgments and assessments of are of people. Oh, I like that. What lies we tell ourselves and what it's it's a fascinating book. I wonder what it would be if it was audio. I wonder if they would. Have two different audio. Maybe. I don't know. I'm always listening to an audio book and reading a book at the same time. And usually it's my favorite. Not like at the same time, but like you'll switch back. I listen to audio books for nonfiction mostly. But I have people were telling me to listen to audio books for Dungeon Crawler. And I have been listening to that. And it is insane. They do so many sound effects. So many. Oh, it's kind of like D&D vibes. It's the immersive. The guy who does the narration for the for the books who reads them. He just got cast. as one of the main characters in the TV show. Because he does it so well. Because there's so many characters. It's going to be like a Peacock original or something. Yeah, there's so many characters that aren't. Basically, it's a guy. I don't know how to describe it. It's basically like a giant alien civilization comes to Earth, turns Earth into a giant Hunger Games situation. And this guy and his cat. And his cat. And so. Are going through it. And there's like 10 books or something like that. There's going to be 10 books probably. There's going to be 10 books. But there's eight right now. It's nuts. That's awesome. I love audio books. The weirdest thing happened. I also listen to audio and then read. But I like more thriller audio books. Because I find the reading is so awesome. And I was listening to one. And I watched. I was watching The Beast and Me. And I was like, this woman was in the scene for maybe two minutes. And I was like, her voice. I was like, that voice sounds so familiar. I paused it. I looked it up to see if she was the audio book reader of my last book. Yep. That's awesome. And I was like, that's so. It was so trippy to see. Because I feel like a lot of these narrators. Some are like narrators. That's what they do. They're audio narrators. But like some are acting. Yeah. On camera. And doing audio. Yeah. I think people who read audio books are so talented. Oh my God. How you. Especially with multiple characters or like fantasy audio. Like how you're able to switch. It's so impressive. And you don't need to do crazy. Different voices. But like you need to follow like their emotions and their POV. And it's a lot. What the fuck do they. It is a very impressive thing. I'm extremely impressed by it. I actually, you know, people talk about the debate of audio books versus reading like physical books. And I'm kind of like, I don't ultimately care. We've had plenty of comments that by professionals and librarians who say there is no difference for your brain. I truly struggle with audio books. And I'm like, I need to do that more often because that's where I struggle with focus. And so, like, for me, that's more the practice because I'm like, for me, that is more challenging for me. Well, it's hard. I, I tend to multitask with audio books. I do it a lot when I'm driving, but even then I just my brain can wander. And so you might not have a good audio book. No, it's, it's, it can be great. I just can get lost in, but that's why I do nonfiction because I can come back to it. I haven't lost my place too bad. I get less is why I like thrillers because I get lost too with audios, but if it's like a thriller. And it's like an awesome voice that I'm into, then I'm, then I'm like, I'm in. Yeah. Like I said, for my own channel, I'll probably be uploading a video where I just talk about my favorite books because I get a lot of DMS and people are like, Oh, you should read this book. And it's already one of my favorite books. So I'm like, I need to get the low down. I love getting on TikTok or something, but, uh, moving on, moving on Shane, really quick NFL, uh, the season has already started by this point. Uh, what team do you think is going? Who's going to win the Superbowl? That's all. That's all this, this segment is pick a pick a team, not the chiefs fair. Okay. You can go to the Broncos, the bills. I was, I was going to say like, people are saying this is probably not their year, but I'm going to go with the bills. That's what I'm just saying. No, it's what you said. Why are people saying it's not their year? Cause it was kind of like this last year was probably their year. Like they were making a push. I mean, this is a problem with that. Weren't they like the, the last team, didn't they lose? So they lost. So the Broncos, the Broncos beat them in the playoffs and it was a kind of a heartbreaking situation. And it was the Broncos and the Broncos beat them. But then the quarterback of the Broncos broke his ankle in the same game. So then the Broncos go off to play the Patriots. That was the game that I was at. And, uh, the Patriots won the Patriots were really good, but they just weren't ready for a Superbowl. And, um, and then the Seahawks just kind of nobody could stop them. I think the Seahawks will be really good again this year, but I, you know, it's rare that a team wins the Superbowl and goes back and makes it. It again, the chiefs were such a outlier. I think the bills, like, I think because it doesn't look like it's their year, I think it might happen, but I don't know. Who do you NK in my question? Which team do you think is going to have the funniest mic'd up moments? Ooh. Oh man. Chiefs. No, I don't think it'll be the chiefs. I love those videos. I don't think it'll be the chiefs. So Broncos, Bills. Yeah. All right. I hope I'm wrong. Let's see then. And I hope Courtney's right. Moving on to. Oh, NFL was such a short section. Well, I want to, I want to get to some different things. Really quick. Really quick. I wanted to bring up, uh, psychology, which I love. Love. Please. Let's talk about it all day, every day. And I mean, uh, it's so funny. Like people, it's obviously become more of a meme, but people bring up so often like, Oh, Shane's psychology, uh, degree is showing up most. It like almost never, it's never applied to anything. I was going to say, I don't feel like not, not really most of like with Reddit stories and stuff. That's just me going off of vibes and just human experience. Your psychology degree is like when we're talking off camera. Honestly, but I also think, I think you continue to exercise that part of the brain. Speaking of reading, like you've been reading some really interesting books about like just the human brain and yeah, I'm trying to read more books on, um, I talked about it, mentioned it the other week, but I'm trying to read more books on like, you know, um, autism OCD. Like I want to, I want to get more into the field, like understanding those because it actually didn't get covered a lot. Right. Like when you, when you get a bachelor's degree. You're getting the general of like everything in that field. So like those were often just like a chapter in a thing. And a lot of those classes I took like 10 years ago and so much understanding is so different. So many diagnoses are so different, but I'm really fascinated by it because you know, so many people who watch this stuff, um, have, have different things and, and, um, so many stories we come across have possibilities of different things. And I just want to understand it more. Like I don't want to be any sort of spokesperson or, or, uh, professional on any, but, you know, but just understanding it so that I can avoid, I want to avoid speaking on things that I shouldn't, you know what I mean? Like, and it's hard to know there's so much going on, but, uh, but I'm still also fascinated by psychology. What I think I love the most is behavioral psychology. I love couples. Like I love couples therapy stuff. Cause Orna is a psycho psychotherapist. Is she? She's a, yeah. She's a psychotherapist. I don't think I know the exact definition between a psychotherapist and like a behavioral therapist. There's many different categories, right? There's clinical therapists. There are, uh, clinical social workers. There's, um, you know, there's different types of degrees, but they all fall into a similar category. And then there's, you know, psychiatrists, which is more of a doctor. They, I think our sound person, Dina, she has a degree in behavioral psychology. Oh, cool. I believe so. But there's so many different, um, so many different, uh, aspects of it. But, uh, but I'm really fascinated by it and I'm fascinated by how humans work and you can even branch out. I even like sociology and stuff, but it's just, there's too much to keep up with. It's wild. Um, I will say I recently cracked open and I haven't gone very far in it, but the, there's a book that's like women with ADHD and like one of the first things it says in it, it sounds like such an obvious thing, but I think I needed to hear it like from a book that was recommended by my therapist. It was like, there is no perfect brain, like sitting in a drawer somewhere that is perfect, unaffected and has nothing. Cause every single person in this world has had some kind of trauma, some kind of something that has affected them in some way. And like, yeah, I don't know why I was like there, we're always striving to be that brain that doesn't exist. I feel like, or comparing each other or judging each other to try and like, you don't have that. And so, yeah, I just thought that was interesting. It's better to work with, I feel like the best, we were talking about self-help the other day. I feel like the best thing is to work with the, work with your brain, figure out your patterns. Figure out your triggers, figure out your beliefs, figure out your behavioral things, like how you respond to certain things and how that's connected to past trauma, past relationships or relationships that you have right now. I mean, some people, you know, might be with someone or friends with someone that this, this dynamic is actually bringing out either really great things or not really great things. So it's bringing out triggering things all the time. It's like, that's, that's, that's my favorite. My favorite thing to think about. I love relationships as in friendships or sisterhood or parents, or I love digging into that so, so much. Me too. Yeah. And what I really love, and you know, this brings it back to reading too, is like everything I learned kind of always highlights how little I know. And I kind of love that. And I think with psychology, the main thing I learned from studying it was how little you know yourself. And that's very scary. Right. But it's very true. It's just like you, people who think. They think they know themselves. You often know that person, right? And that person is someone where you go, they don't know themselves. They think they're like, they're like, well, I know I'm a very kind giving person. It's like, you're not. Why are you saying it so aggressively? It's like, no, it's just like, but I'm just thinking of like, you know, I'm a kind giving person. I just, I've known so many people in almost the more assured you are in who you are in your behavior. Sometimes the more far away from it you can be. Yeah. But, um, but that goes just kind of for everything. So there's a sense of humility. And honestly, doing Red stories has been such a gift. I've mentioned this before of like, kind of like I read these stories of situations I've never heard of before. And then it's seen by so many people around the world that then kind of get back to me and, and, and highlight when I've missed something or when I don't understand something. And I'm like, that's fascinating that I don't know that. Or highlight how you respond to something. I think, I think the other thing is cool and also tricky when you're friends or dating someone or whatever, they tend to call out things about you like, Oh, you always do this. You always do that. And sometimes it can be really helpful. Like, Oh, I never noticed I did that. And then if you can go back to past experiences and goes, Oh, I do do that. Or sometimes people call out things. Oh, you always do this, but it could be a projection of what you always do or like, Hey, you miss this thing. Or, and then it's like, I always am like, how do you decipher the truth from what you're doing? And then it's like, I always am like, how do you decipher the truth from what is put upon you, right? Yeah. That's like, I have loved therapy so much. I've been in it for like seven years now with like a few months break in between therapists, but like that has helped me learn myself. And so when things like that happen, I feel like I can better discern like when things are being put on me versus like that gut. And it's also like, how do you do the work to listen to your gut? How do you really start to listen to your gut? Because then if you get to a place, your gut will automatically, that doesn't feel right. Like that doesn't feel like something I can, I can put on. And then you have to be like, why is this being put on me like this? What did I do to trigger that person that they're looking at me? Like I'm their mom or something, or I'm their sister or something. That's why I'm like, I'm so fascinated with that stuff. But I think my, my journey in, in this is why like some self-help books or psychology is why do I respond to like that? Why do I feel like that? Why, when someone says that, that makes me so angry or sad or like, I really have to ask myself these questions. That's been like lately, my journey is I was so like focused on others. Like, Oh, why did my sister, why does, why did my sister have this relationship? Why did my sisters, why does my mom and my sister have this? And now I'm like, why do I feel this with, you know, person A or whatever. It's like, I think if you start to like go down that journey of your life, you're going to be like, Oh, I don't know. I don't know. I don't yourself then you could be like but what's tricky is you are on camera millions of people are listening to reddit stories yeah and then it's like they're listening to your response to and it's it's a it's very scary because it's a immediate response and you know people call me out plenty of times on on biases and stuff and my only response is correct like you know i and i watching it back it's fascinating and it's such a gift to get to see my biases and my things come out and you know that's something that is true for everyone so it's like oh it's nice to see it so i can you know kind of yeah come about it with a sense of curiosity of like why why do i do that why do i respond that way and and to continue to evolve and i've mentioned before that like um you know for red story it's fascinating often where by the time an episode's come out like my view on that story has shifted yeah drastically i remember like seeing a comment when someone's like oh he said that i wonder i wonder which story i'm like it's kind of every story and it might not be that my opinion has changed it's just like how i viewed it like over time you have more time to think about it and just also i'm changing day by day with experiences and sometimes even it's the comments that i read and i go oh like that they offered a new thought about that that i didn't have and like so it's just a constant you're reading a story with not a ton of context sure and it's like it's it's interesting to see when you're reading a story with not a ton of context sure and it's like it's it's interesting to see i put context in that wasn't there you know and i see that plenty of times but um it's i do that i do all the time i'm borderline like psychic like i have a feeling i do it all the time i'm like oh it sounds like he did this what's really a problem now with that show is that i've read so many stories that now all these stories i've read are impacting how i feel right new stories and i gotta sometimes be like do this as if it was the first episode hard um but it's a very very fun challenging show in that way our job is vulnerable in that way like if you look at us when we first started smosh all of us like it has been a like journey of growth and evolving and like it's vulnerable to have all of that online for people to watch and see us grow and change and just like yeah and i've mentioned before like it's i'm so grateful for it but it's also um scary for me to have such a we have such a diverse audience of people like from different places different more than ever different backgrounds different uh different minds you know a lot of night neurodivergent people watch the shows and and i'm like oh shit like that's why i'm that's why i'm like i want to do my best but no i will spend the rest of my life uh trying to read up and and learn things and i will still not know well that's what makes anything interesting is you you're your own person with your own opinions your own pov like you can't be this this oh this person for everybody that's but that's what makes it interesting you spark debate you spark absolutely thoughts of like absolutely well i feel this oh wait why do i feel this yeah i said that yeah i think if people were blindly i mean listen i have a lot of really positive influence youtubers that i listen to and i'm like i believe whatever you believe because i know you are but i think it is with a show like ours we are taking the stories of all different types of people too and like yes it is nice to hear your own opinion on the show but also like a stream on my youtube channel where i made like the first few characters so it was like the chosen sarah christ and professor miller and then i stopped streaming and i was like i want to make other things and so it's literally i have right the latest i have ariana maddox i have bad bunny i have chapel row and i have sabrina carpenter i have raven and starfire from teen titans i have nebula and gamora from guardians of the galaxy amazing i have characters from buffy the vampire slayer and then i recently made arasha tommy and i have a lot of characters from ariana maddox and i have a lot of characters from ariana maddox and chance tommy and arasha did not hit it off they did not like each other from the get that's crazy because they love each other in person and then tommy and angela met and angela bored tommy and no no tommy bored angela angela started cracking her neck boredly as he spoke to her oh my god whoa oh i made bailey bailey married dominic i made dominic my character bailey married dominic and then they divorced she divorced him married and divorced in how long fast relationship i married for a while like they were married for a bit she was almost a nook was after her church nuts roasting on an open fire a nook a nook is on the island he's now married to starfire and starfire and bailey are very similar so clearly he has a type sarah christ married to anybody sarah christ is married oh oh she's married courtney has shown me this whole saga who is she married to uh courtney oh yeah yeah i forgot so of course so sarah christ you haven't told her the chosen i have no control over this by the way this game just operates on its own he wishes you guys had a kid you can have kids on this island and the kid unfortunately looked a lot like spencer so that's what i named him oh and now spencer's walking around hanging out with slenderman now we can never have a chosen sarah christ like they team up because all we know is they're not going to get the crime done they're just going to be fucking in some abandoned warehouse this is the tomodachi version of it no this is alternate and their child is spencer hey you guys even um i can't even that was wild that's crazy it is wild and professor miller is married to chapel ronan he's not happy oh unfortunately a lot of people don't like her on my island people were like constantly having issues with her oh yeah was i like a fan favorite on your island sarah christ was she she's one of the ogs she's an og bad i just i feel bad every so glad so as they as they level up they get more quirks like they become very custom like their own personality the way they walk the way they stand things that they say like um and a lot of them have like the fashionista quirk so they can change their clothes with all because you can give them new clothes all the time i refuse to give sarah christ anything that isn't the look she can't have any other clothes could you imagine her in a dress she'd be like no no no what is this trash she always has to have the red scarf which i in my mind in my canon the scarf is red for sarah christ so that's the island uh i am married to angel from buffy the vampire slayer i'm not happy about it oh no not angel angel's not my favorite you like spike yes spike's problematic i hate spike spike is so hot spike is a nightmare six of buffy and she hates it is like is problematic but he's all the characters are problematic and buffy's so hot he was hitting ladies left and right i hate it yeah it is true but i get it defend him angel i liked him but you know who i liked more riley that which is crazy uh if you're a fan he was the military guys i liked him because of marvel he's like a he's so civil war like captain america coded i liked him i think if people get a fresh perspective on the show now spike is problematic as hell oh right angel is just fine okay and riley was lovely and we deserve more spike is toxic it's just wild like i do picture all your boyfriends in boston like when you're a teenager looking like spike they none of them looks like that they all had like the big wide you know jean shorts that were like this oh shit they all they were limb biscuit coated they all looked more like um italian looking okay if that explains no actually i did have someone who kind of looked like spike with tattoos okay who was a skateboarder it's just interesting i like flawed characters but there's some characters nowadays in tv shows there are certain things that if a character does it there's no going back they are a bad person and murder murder beating women oh beating women yeah of course yeah that's a that's a hard thing that's a hard no does spike beat women lots oh dang i forgot when the popular girl becomes a vampire later like he's just he's just a bad bomber man spike i think you were watching it and you were like oh my god and i was like yeah she she's also a vampire so i mean she's strong uh you were trying to like stop because you knew what was coming which is that um i don't want to spoil the show for other people but like couples change and shit he is old like he's a villain he is never like painting as like a full hero he's a villain this happens a lot with like old school tv shows or movies like i have a film club with my friends and i showed urban cowboy i was like oh such a good movie and then i played it and i was like everybody is beating women in it it's awful i was like john travolta no you know what a lot of that is too is a lot of vertical dramas go there it's really weird it is really weird i'm like no and watching watching any movie pre two hollow man don't watch it oh well nobody's gonna watch hollow man anyways what are you talking don't worry about that i these old movies that are like oh classic i put it on i'm like oh what we start in reddit stories in a reddit stories episode that i don't know if it's aired yet or not we somehow brought up wedding crashers and you were just like watching it back you're like oh my god i was like multiple that whole montage of women falling in the bed going like yay topless because that's how many that's how many women these guys had sex with like during the wedding and it was a montage to shout the song shout yeah and it was just them every time the word shout happened another lady flew to i watched it recently and i went did i just black out this whole like topless topless and they're all laying down like having the best time like vince vaughn you wish buddy yeah and owen wilson i was like no no and i like to think about how like when they shot those of the women those guys were home they weren't on the like vince vaughn and owen wilson weren't there they weren't there so it was just like a shoot with just like time for a women jumping on bed day also how hot do you really look when you fall backwards on a bed topless come on it's hard you know like your tits like knocking you in the head you're like oh my god oh my god you choke you're like oh god you're like ow my back yeah oh man i can't even it's not a graphic like that in tomodachi island no no you don't see anything so sarah christian shows and that was just like it happened no they literally it goes they have a like if you're like viewing your town because one of the most like fun parts is you can just kind of put your little cursor on a character and then it'll track them like follow them like a camera through the town then like interacting with a vending machine talking with somebody if a bunch of them have like a jogging quirk they'll go on a group jog it's really cute um but sometimes then a notification if someone wants to talk to you and then it'll take you into their house and then they have a baby and they and so they'll be like we want to name it geronimo what do you think and i'll be like i'm gonna name it something else and then go oh then i think you must have a better name for our child that's awesome wait what is the name of our child it looked a lot like spencer what's up spencer oh spencer oh my god it's fully spencer oh my god um olivia olivia i forgot i made olivia she's married to anthony bourdain classic good for her although she's gonna be on her own you know she's he's that's crazy i'm so sorry i love him i love him too but he's no longer with us two kids oh i guess in the game i have a few people who have for me and i'll throw this out there um is uh it would be really fun i don't know if it would get the same views is um the remake of ocarina of time is coming out this year and you would think it's very cool um because it's zelda let's do it and it's like the best zelda ever made i i you were explaining skyrim and i was actually interested in that skyrim's awesome that sounds awesome um but but zelda follows a little bit more of a streamlined story okay a little bit more like uh it's like resident evil but like super fantasy fun time um but when it comes out i'm gonna be like i'm gonna be like i'm gonna be like i'm gonna probably try to push to see if i could play it on games that sounds awesome because i'm sure i'll play it with you at home at home but you guys should play it you and angela it'd be so fun it's just not as like i just don't know if it's as exciting as resident evil But Resident Evil is a different beast. Well, he was homeschooled. And I'm like, uh, I went to elementary. And middle school, middle school is the trenches. That is the one that matters most. Commenters. I love you guys. It's not that many comments, by the way. You don't know us. It's like a few people. You don't know us that well. It's it's it.
