#159: United Struggle in Difficult First Loss for Carrick

Täällä on tullut, joten on seuraava. - The new castel is. - The new castel is. - Yeah, I think what I was gonna say is, "Carrick switches to the back four, which means we play fewer forwards from the start, which means theoretically you have better forwards on the bench." Now, plus the boost from very few availability knocks from amongst our four personnel since Carrick's come in, plus no Afcon has meant he's had impact forwards to bring off of the bench. So I don't wanna say that the late winners are just pure fluke. Like I do think, like, under Carrick, there's been more impact coming off the bench in an attacking sense than there was under Omram. And whether you wanna attribute that to Carrick or not, I don't really care, but I think that is a fact. I think you could possibly attribute it to back four versus back three. Yes. I would definitely attribute it at least in part to that. - Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I also think Carrick has probably shown more willingness to change the side in the last few matches than he did before, which has helped. And I arguably think that that was a pro, I would go as far as to say that was a problem under Omram. There were things he was doing that didn't make sense and he didn't change them. But I don't really know, like ultimately, I think that we can conclusively say, this will have been a successful interim spell because United wanted to make certain changes and get certain results and they basically have. I think that applies even if they throw this position and finish six. I don't know where you go from here. And I think it emerges more and more every week that I'm not 100% sure where the next uptick is gonna come from this team. I think like you said, it's possible it comes in the press with more time and more coaching. I'm not sure where else other than signing better players this summer, you're gonna get this team to be very good. And to be fair, that's not to say the team is bad. Like I think if you went and signed very good players and kept Karek next season will probably be fine. But I just don't know whether fine is good enough compared to some of the other possible directions United could take this. I'm still unsure exactly how that maps out. - Yeah. - Yeah, I'll be honest, I think at this point, I have limited interest in Karek being the permanent appointment based on what we've seen. I mean, I think I agree. I think he's done it like all the things you've said are true. I think he said a good job as an interim. I think he's gotten some things very right. But overall, I'm not that compelled by what he's done tactically and I think the results are flattering. And between those two things, I just, I think yeah, you can say perhaps he's done well with the man management. But the overall weight of the evidence to me does not make me think yeah, we've gotta keep him. - Yeah. - And I think, actually let me rephrase that. The overall weight of what he's done so far with this team to me is very much in line with what I would have expected. His burrows from his burrow sides and I wouldn't have hired him full time to coach United given what I saw from his burrow size. Does that make sense? Like he hasn't done anything that's made me think, oh, this is a different manager from that manager. That handled those sides. Does that make any sense? I don't know if I've got-- - It makes sense. No, it makes sense. - It's an articulated thought and I'm not sure it's coming up. - It makes sense. And I think I share that point of view. My main reservation is wanting to see what the alternatives look like. - Yes. - I agree. - Because I don't think that this is like, when you had Tenog, I think it was like you could sack Tenog and bring in many coaches and you would be better. And I don't necessarily feel that way. There's a possibility you end up doing a lot to stay the same or you get someone in who ends up being worse. So I'd be curious to see who ends up being available, which with coaches, I think the only real way to tell is seeing what rumors emerge. And then I think based on that, I'd be able to make a more informed decision. I think there are definitely coaches where I'd have a higher level of confidence than I would with Karek. But I don't know if there are many who will come up in the next two months, which is the timeframe we're looking at now. - Yeah, I don't know. It's a difficult conversation to have, which is again, why I wouldn't say I would rule out Karek staying. It's just I wouldn't be enthusiastic about it based on what we've seen. - Yeah. - I don't think he's making the most of the players that he has quite frankly, which is not a cardinal sin. He's been here for eight matches. And I've said this before, literally every manager when they come into a new squad at first misuses players. Like that is just part of coming into a new squad. - Yeah. - But I don't know. A lot of his usage of players to me reads, not as like fan driven or even necessarily board driven, but like very much, it feels a little simplistic sometimes. Like for example, I think EmboMo as a center forward, I think this is a good example. A fact of player getting in behind, yes. It worked against city and arsenal to a degree. He kept on with it longer than he should have. And then he adjusted, which is all good. But I think ultimately EmboMo, as a center forward or EmboMo as at right wing, both of those are gonna have some uncomfortable trade-offs. And I think this is really what it is. I feel that some of the players are being treated as a winger or a striker or a midfielder as opposed to the collection of attributes that they have. And that concerns me because I just think that's the wrong way to arrange players on the pitch. Yeah, I kind of hear that. I think to another extent, I feel like a lot of the time, the structure of the team in possession is defined by the player's attributes as opposed to what the team needs to be doing. So I don't know, it's a difficult, like so for example against Newcastle, I actually thought the attacking structure of the team was much better and it was because the personnel allowed you to, at the same time, have Kunea come in centrally and provide with and provide depth, which is something I've been complaining about over the last few weeks on the podcast. But I don't know. I also to some extent understand what you're saying. Like for example, I think you had 45 minutes against Newcastle here against 10 men and it was still very much like Maynu as the deeper midfielder and Bruno as the number 10 and like trying to get crosses into the box, tight play. When I think you could have really transformed it into getting more attackers on the pitch, spraying more passes from deep and taking advantage of the fact that Newcastle can't press you as hard. I also to some extent think, not necessarily that I'm advocating for playing Ugarte, but Maynu and Cassimiro were visibly not equipped to handle the demands of this match, which I think erodes a lot of the advantages you create by having them in the team in the first place during this run and having roles that suit them. So yeah, I don't know, something, some things are just not, it's not even that I think I know how I would fix these issues, but in another way that's also part of the problem, I think. I don't know where you go from here with Carica's coach next season, you just other than buying new players and resetting. Like you could buy a natural left-winger and buy two new midfielder's and, you know, drop Kunia and drop Maynu and Cassimiro and then maybe it would all make more sense positionally, but I don't necessarily think that that is the best way for the team to go. And I don't necessarily think that that's even what Carrick wants. I don't have any conviction that he, that this is something he particularly cares about. I think it's kind of the-- You've made better to get the best out of the players. I think you've made my point better than I was making it, which is essentially what you just said. It's, I think you know, I didn't have a bunch of talented players. I don't think most of them are being maximized. And I think other players who are, less talented or have more handicaps are being quote unquote maximize like they are in their most comfortable positions and I don't think that makes sense. And if this is the approach that he's going to go forward with into next season, even if you get rid of Casimiro and you bring in a super talented like who will insert your defensive fielder of choice, I think you're I think there's inefficient choices being made in a lot of different places. None of them are catastrophic choices, but I suspect that the the aggregate effect is ceiling limited. And this is just a feeling I have right now. I don't I don't feel great conviction in this. I'm not again, I'm not saying like carrots doing a horrible job or that carrot absolutely shouldn't get the full-time position, but I watch this team and there's I feel myself scratching my head at a lot of small stuff often that seems deliberately chosen by the coach. And I think like what you said is a great example. Like once you go up a man, I think that you throw on another forward, you take off one of those midfielders, you drag either Bruno deeper or Casimiro deeper. Like and this is like arm room got a lot of flack for not being more aggressive latent matches, but he did do a lot of this reconfiguration stuff based on game state that I think made sense. Like Bruno would get pulled into the back line when United World chasing games to get on the ball more when the opposition was pressing up high less. For example, he tried to get creative players at the wingback positions, especially latent games when we were chasing matches when he had them available. Again, which is not to say that like arm room makes better substitutions or something like that. It's just that I could see him reacting to circumstance within matches in a way that I found at the very least intentional. And I feel less so about some of carrots in in match decisions. And also pre-match decisions. Yeah, all of this I think is adding up to kind of like an amorphous conversation because ultimately where we are is like very much middle ground. Like there are not, I don't think he's failing catastrophically. I also don't think he's doing an incredible job that makes me think like, oh, we just got to give it to him. Like all of my my concerns are gone. And so we're left with like, I like some of this and I dislike some of that. And I'm not I'm not leaning too hard one way or the other. Yeah, here's here's what I'd say. So I think rounding this up, I think he's definitely done what needed to be done. I think from the perspective of looking forward what I'd want to see from this team is and someone actually remarked to me. I don't remember who, but I believe was on the Reddit that in the next so in the 39 days after the new castle game, you know, I did have two matches because they're not playing the FA Cup this weekend. In three weeks, the first week of April, I believe, is also an FA Cup weekend. That's actually in four weeks. It's it's also an FA Cup weekend. And there is a lead game. There are two lead games in the middle, but United are going to have a ton of time on the training pitch between now and when they play leads on April 13. Yeah, I mean, I would say I'd be interested in seeing a clearer idea of how this team is going to apply pressure to opposition in their half, but also in settled defensive situations. How they're going to restrict like the time opposition have to play crosses or take shots or make passes into the box. And I would like to see a clearer idea of what the structure looks like. Regardless of who the players are on the pitch, that's not to say it has to be exactly the same no matter who's on the pitch, but more so to say, I think the same components have to be delivered regardless of who's on the pitch. And right now, it's not that I think that those are impossibilities. It's just that I don't really see them. And I think maybe to some extent, you feel the same way like it, it feels like there are some things that are just amounting to ebbs and flows as opposed to feeling like there's an overarching principle that the team is going to play by in these specific areas. But that could be as a result of him being an interim as well. Yeah, I also think he is leaning very heavily on the qualities of the players to solve certain problems, which is not again a sin like ultimately players are meant to solve problems. But I do think it means United are very subject to the conditions that the opposition imposes upon them. IE, United will play really well if the opposition sets up in a way that suits the qualities of the players United have on the ball. United will play a lot less well if that is not the case. And the opposition has a lot of control over those circumstances, whereas you know, a different manager under different tactical circumstances might try to impose certain circumstances on the opposition that would suit certain players on their team. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, I do. Like you're saying it's not a sin. It's a natural outcome. But I think I'd like to see more to reverse those natural outcomes when they're unfavorable. Right. Exactly. I mean, I think that's a big part of the tactical side of being a Premier League manager. So yeah, like when opposition are have poorly structured press and are willing to press up, you know, you'd have really talented players at attacking in space and playing fast between the lines. And you wind up with an effective attack inside when opposition have an athletic block less so it's a lot more challenging. And then you put on sesco and sesco what some of his qualities lend themselves to breaking down those more athletic blocks. But then, you know, the opposition can count like Newcastle, I aren't a low block side. They're just super athletic and well drilled in the press. So it's again, again, I said this one million times on this podcast today already. But this is not a condemnation of him. I just think when you try to weigh up the pros and the cons, you wind up in the woods at this point. And I think it is a good point that you made that it's 39 days now with only two matches. The sort of the run in is going to be telling, I think, about, you know, it's actively to an extent. But then on the other on the other side of it, Aaron, you know, I'm going to play midweek again this season, I believe. So I don't know how much you can really learn, especially given these two poor results that United have had have been in the midweek under care. And so yeah, I'm not sure. I'm not someone someone else who asked about that in the right. I'm not sure that matters. But I don't think like, I think the question was something to the effective. Is this more noise or is this due to fatigue? It's certainly more noise because United have six wins and no losses, no draws on the weekend. And one draw and one loss during the midweek. Like that is inherently mostly noise because if United played more midweek matches, they would win some of them. And if United played more weekend matches, they would draw and lose some of them. So definitely mostly noise. But at the same time, I do think United being dramatically more rested than a lot of their opposition has been a huge asset. And I don't think that's dismissible. Like I think that was true. No, no, that matters. And earlier in the season as well, not just under care. I think United benefited from playing less. They did and they do. But I also think I don't know to what extent that applies more on week ends versus week days. And I don't know that I've seen it in the differences in the performances on weekends versus week day. Like a lot of people are saying United looked tired in this new castle match. And I very much felt like a lot of the same things were occurring in this match. It just didn't break in United's favor. And if you look at the matches, like in the last since in the last month. Prior to the game, Newcastle played Brentford on Feb 7th, talking about Feb 10th, Villa on Feb 14th. So they got to break that day. Carbog on Feb 18th city on Feb 21st. Carbog again on the 24th, Everton on Feb 28th and then United on March 4th. So they played two leg champions league. knockout tie. They played an FA Cup knockout tie. And so in the month leading up to the match, Newcastle played three more matches than United. Like, yeah, no, Aaron, I don't, I, I, I, I, I still think that I'm managed applies during the week. I agree, but the point about the week versus the weekend, I think is that when United play in the midweek, it means that they don't, they haven't had a full week of rest. It's just like on how many days of rest are United playing. And I think they have put in two of their lesser performances when they've had less than six days of rest, which I don't think is pure noise. Like, I do think there's something in that. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, I totally take your point. New castle were certainly way more tired than United were by any empirical, uh, yeah, measurement. And I would add on to that. Use most of the time when I think fans talk about, oh, we just looked not up for it. We looked tired. A lot of the time that is because they're perceiving their side to be late to doles. And a lot of the time being late to doles is because of structural things about opposition build up or press as opposed to exhaustion or athleticism. And I think those things are just harder to pick up on. I think in this match, Newcastle were just dramatically better drilled out of possession, like of the two sides. Um, so that plays a part of it. But I also, I don't want to discount like, players get tired. And I think it could definitely, like I definitely think, especially if you're on a custom to playing in the midweek, especially if you were already getting a lift from being less tire than your opposition at the weekends. Yeah. Yeah. Playing in the midweek, I think plays some part. I don't think it's irrelevant. No, I agree. It's not irrelevant. And I, I also think Newcastle season's kind of evidence of that, right? Like they, they went semifinal of the BFL cup. They're gone to the round of 16 of the Champions League. They're playing Barcelona next week. They, they just lost in the fifth round of the FA Cup to say, um, they played what, 15 more matches than United this season. And they are 12th in the Premier League. Um, last season, when, if I recall correctly, they were out of Europe, they finished fifth and United were in Europe and finished 15. Um, there's clear, this is clearly something that matters. Um, I, I think my main, my point is that it's just probably somewhat neutralized by the fact that United have just, like, it's not just that it three days since their last match. It's like three days since the last match, but then a week in between a couple of their matches before that, which also contributes to the teams overall fitness. But, but anyway, I, I think you know, it's, it's tough to say I will see what it looks like during the run-in and I agree it'll be hard to get a very good picture, but what I'm looking to see is more about the principles, I think, than um, the ability to do it 60 times a season, which is a different battle altogether. And probably one that United will face next season, whether they make the champions that you're not. So, agreed. All right, let's go to a break. When we come back, we'll take, we'll take a couple questions and then we will bid you a due for the Aston Villa Match next weekend. Stay tuned for that. Welcome back. Let's look at a couple questions from the audience. Thank you for sending in your questions. We had some really good ones. By the way, our Reddit is our slash doubles ITD pod. You should get involved. I think it's really cool. Men with Ben asked, what future do you envisage for Kunia? He's obviously a great player, but the left wing position could be a little bit awkward at times. So, do you think we need to target a left back who can offer width and thrust, or is he eventually going to move into the Bruno position? I mean, I think probably the best thing to do would be to sort of shift things so that you have like someone else who provides the width and sort of a more advanced role than a fullback, but then you have maybe two players who play his tens and drop into the space. I'm trying to get three, four, three. But, short of that, I don't know. I don't know what you do because I don't think that he is a creator in the same mold of Bruno. I also don't think that he is a traditional winger. I also don't think that I would want him as the primary center forward. That said, I do think he is probably our second best player. Certainly one of our three or four best. I mean, I think he's been, he's very difficult to replace. The results weren't very good, but he's been the main play driver, I think, the last few matches. Against Newcastle, a lot of the chances just came from him dribbling. Yeah, true. I do think in general, though, he's been less productive under character than he was on the armoring. I don't think that's great. I do think that this role suits him a lot less. But I think it would be really stupid to drop him or like move towards a system where he isn't, his skills aren't emphasized because I think he is one of the most skilled players in the team. I don't really have a good answer, but I mean, I'll be honest, I still think this squad is better suited to playing a back three than it is to playing a back four. This is part of the reason why. Good luck with that one. I think there's no appetite amongst the fans for it anymore. No, there isn't. I also think that other issues do emerge that were, it's easy to discount. The left wing back thing was, I think it's a problem now. I think it was absolutely a massive issue prior in the three, four, three, like getting any output from left wing back with the current set of players. I agree with you, but I also think midfield is a massive problem now. In the summer, it's going to be a massive, a bigger problem than left wing back was, especially in the system. You're going to need to buy a new midfield. I also think this really shoe horns, both Konya and EmboMo into sub-optimal roles. I think it gets, I think it's better for Bruno's individual output to be playing the way we are. However, I think he was playing really well in central midfield. The centerbacks, I don't really care to go through like one by one, but I don't think it's, I think it's difficult to make an argument that the back four is dramatically better or worse for any one of them. I think this squad was designed to be a back three squad and it was in the midst of being transformed to that. Now, you're in a weird place where you wound up like betwixting between. I think it's going to be difficult to optimize your best players. In this back four formation, I think that's true. That's not me saying you have to go back to back three. I just think in the long run that's going to bear out. Yeah, I don't feel as strongly. I think I agree with it. I don't feel as strongly as you do. In terms of the centerbacks, how do you use Konya? I think this is a huge issue. I don't think this is a small thing. How do you use it, Bermow and Amad? I don't think you have to use EmBermow and Amad. I agree, but I do think you need to get EmBermow high up the pitch, especially in transition phases. Yeah. So he can't be tracking back in the same way that Amad does. Yeah. I think some of these things are match dependent. I mean, like much of the body of matches upon which EmBermow was signed, who had been playing at right wing in a back four formation. I'm not saying he can't play. That's not my point. I know. I know. But I think you can still make both Konya and EmBermow very effective by making a couple of changes to this team in the transfer market. Those, for example, one is I think right now maybe part of the hesitancy. see I would have about playing Bruno deeper and Kune at number 10 would be the fact that I don't really trust Cassie Miro to hold the entire like I don't really trust him to carry the burden of the team and in or out of possession. Whereas I think you have the opportunity to fix that in the summer and then I think there are more matches where you can just play Kune as the number 10. And play Bruno. Not deeper. Yeah, yeah, play Bruno deeper. Like you would have under under Umorim, right? You had Bruno deeper and Kune in the in the 10. I don't really think that Carrick sees that as viable and I partially disagree, but I understand based on the way the team has been structured why he feels that way. May news usually inside the opposition block. And I don't think that would particularly suit Bruno. But I think there are ways that other coaches could get around that and play Bruno and have him be super effective in a back four formation in specific kinds of games. And then I also do think that signing signing and a left back that can get up the pitch really effectively would would be helpful. I just I that last bit to me just sounds. I don't know. I think the issue with playing Kune out there is that he's not like I've said this so many times. I'm almost sick of saying it. He's not a volume dual or out there. He's not like in a dead sprint like dominant. So he's not he's also not a volume crosser by any means. I don't think that there are a lot of left backs who are United caliber who are those things. And I don't even I think it's a very strange thing to optimize for like let's get a left back who's basically a winger so that we can play Kune in this sort of hybridized role. I don't know. It just doesn't sound like good team building to me when you like there's a there's a formation where you don't need to do that. Like if that's if you're if you're committed to Kune being a part of the team. Yeah. Yeah. I hear you. I I guess if I could go back in time. I don't want to even say I wouldn't have signed Kune because I think he's very good. And I think if you signed a winger instead in the similar like age group and profile like by profile I don't mean tactical profile. I just mean like stature. I think that they would probably be a worse player. Yeah. I mean they got some men. You know, I think they're I think he's just worse like like I wouldn't want some in yeah. So it's yeah. I don't know. It's a weird. It's a weird problem. But I don't think that like I don't know I still think Kune could be very good playing like a playing like 30 to 40% of his matches at number 10. And then the other 60 as a as a left side attacker with a like good fullback behind him. I don't think that and I think you know to need a left back anyways. I don't think it's like you're reshaping the trajectory of the summer to make this happen. Because if you look at the team like you just have Shaw. I agree they need a left back but I don't think most left backs solve this problem. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think most solve it entirely. But I think many can make it enough of a margin better than what you're getting with Shaw to to make it less of a problem that Kune is playing on the left. But I don't know maybe like I still agree it's not perfect. You're not like optimizing both Kunea and Bruno at the same time. But I do think that is what you do and I think it's probably ends up being fine. Yeah. I just I'm not convinced it winds up being fine. I think I think it'll be better than what most teams have because Kune is a supremely talented player. But I just I don't like a team building plan that's on its face suboptimal. Like you're you're immediately going in like yeah we're shoe horning this guy in there but ah. Yeah. He's been 60 something million on him last like less than 12 months ago but ah. We'll just put it. How do you how do you feel about like how city managed to play players like Bernardo and Foden both wide and centrally? How do they how do they pull that off? What's your like? I mean I think they're very different from Kunea is part of it. Right. How like I'm not I'm not saying I don't agree but. I mean neither of them are the ball carriers that Kunea is. Yeah. I think also city play like a this positional play approach that means you don't have players just drifting randomly like the way Kunea does when he's at his best into deeper areas without compensating by moving other players into different zones. Um. I mean I think that's that's the main thing is city play in this hyper structured way that demands profiles. Be like it demands accommodation of profiles less and as a consequence in certain ways suppresses certain skills of certain players. Um yeah yeah yeah. So yeah you could like I think you could put Kunea in that city team and he's hyper technical so I think he wouldn't be out of place but he looked he would he specifically would probably look a bit stunted in the same way that we've e-gree-lish did. Um yeah. So yeah. I don't know it's it definitely is tough and I agree that with Kunea as plan A it feels suboptimal but I do think that's what you probably have to do like I don't think there's another choice I don't think you can unless you sell one of them like I don't know which I would be against. Um I don't think you can I don't think you do go back to three four three and sign a wing back. Uh there's no way they're going to know just because of the optics which is which is dumb like not that like not playing a three four three is dumb but ruling it out as a consequence of optics is dumb. Yeah yeah I don't know yeah. I like I to whatever extent think it's dumb I also think you pick one and stick with it or you start to build teams in a way that you can switch between them because like you can like I said before United sign Kunea and a bum oh like you could you can build a team that can play in both three four three and four three three but you didn't and then you abandoned it four months after you made those signings. So either you say we're going to play three four three for the next five years no matter who's the coach if I'm reading leaves item like top five items on the list for the next coach includes plays back three formation or you don't sign those players um I don't know me I still think I still think it matters less than BOMO like I think you probably still get a lot of them BOMO at right wing um but I just think the again this this goes back to what I was saying earlier about carrot is like I don't view these guys as right wingers or left wingers or center forwards like I viewed them as a bucket of attributes and and BOMO to me the things that he's good at the things that make him effective that allow him to create chances and score goals. Yeah it's getting in behind and playing off the striker is being high up the pitch in transition phases playing if you're playing a four four two block and he is the right most of the midfield four he's not going to be high up in transition phases that seems wrong to me like that seems like a misuse of the bucket of attributes that he is again this isn't to condemn carrot but more to be like I don't there's some stuff going on here that I think is sub optimal I don't think it's wise and it needs to be considered as you go into this summer. Do you think the only way to fix that is to play a three four three like to fully fix it? With these specific players yeah it with kunya broo it's the only one that I'm it's the only one that immediately occurs to me and that's probably partially because it's immediately available in the mind but yeah I think it's very difficult to configure aside with a back four and a center forward kunya and bomo and bruno that that uses all of them optimally and that's tough. Alright international clock 18 asks what's a reasonable expectation for next season if we assume a similar strategy level of spend and player quality from the summer transfer window. I would say the range of outcomes is between first and seventh on narrow that way. I think we can win the league next season I think that's a pretty big I think it's not literally [BLANK_AUDIO] like the league is very weird right now. It's in a transitional space and we have a couple of really talented players who can break games open. If you got the right coach, if you got the right transfers, if other sides had the wrong, made the wrong decisions, I don't think it's literally impossible. But it wouldn't be my guess, but yes, for a range of outcomes. That's my range of outcomes. Approximately one half of the possible league positions. I think you could be like pretty confidently, the fourth best team in the Premier League if things break your way this summer. And then you're depending on the top three doing things wrong to be worse than you. I don't know. And that's primarily based on player quality. I think it's hard to, which I think is what this question is getting at. I think it's hard to build a squad this summer that's better than cities, arsenals, or Liverpools. I think in terms of first 11 right now, you know, you did have probably the fourth or fifth best first 11. The squad is a lot worse than that. Yeah. How much of a dent you can put in that over the summer? I don't know. Because I don't know how much they're going to spend. I don't, I'm well, we will wrap up after this bit. You have the reins. What do you do? You got, you got 200 million. You don't have to give specific players. You got 200 million. And you have to hire a coach. Like where do you, what do you look to? Two midfielders, a left back, a forward, and noggosman. Okay. Yeah. And how, and do you think that makes you the fourth deepest, the fourth best depth of the Premier League? No, fourth best depth. No, but maybe, maybe even like a top three first 11, maybe. Okay. Yeah, I think I can get a part of it. And things are weird enough. Right now that like, yeah, yeah. And if you got noggosman, like I think you could compete for the Premier League with that. Yeah. Maybe. I don't know. Would, would noggosman play back three? That would be so funny, bro. That would be my Roman Empire. All right. I think with that, we're going to wrap it up. Next week, Aston Villa, which should be very fun. We'll be here to cover it for you. We're interested to learn more about this side. And we'll probably have some time to talk about the summer a little bit more over the next few weeks as we are without matches to talk about. Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. Puhujat analysoivat jalkapallojoukkueen väliaikaisen valmentajan Carrickin suoritusta ja hänen mahdollista vakituista nimitystään.
