12 Reasons Why You Should Do Network Marketing - Episode 309

The speaker presents 12 reasons why network marketing is a great business model, emphasizing that only one reason relates to income. First, they address common criticisms by comparing network marketing's hierarchy to organizations like schools, churches, and the military, clarifying it is a pyramid structure but not a scheme, as long as products and fair compensation are involved. Key benefits include product advantages, no need for qualifications, and a positive environment that fosters growth—environment beats will. Flexible hours offer freedom but require discipline. Financially, network marketing provides security through a side income, has low startup costs compared to franchises, and offers unlimited earning potential, though income can be volatile. The lifestyle allows working from home or anywhere, enabling travel and family time. It provides purpose by allowing mentors to be mentioned in others' success stories, and it promotes lifelong personal development through continuous learning. The speaker concludes that network marketing is a powerful opportunity for those willing to commit and grow.

Hey, in this video, we're going to be talking about why network marketing is one of the greatest business bottles. I'm one of the greatest ways for you to make money in the world right now and most lightly for the long future ahead. So I've got 12 reasons why network marketing is so great. And only one of them is to do about the income. And before I do get started, I just, I've got to say that a lot of people hate on network marketing because they think it's one of those pyramid things. Only the people at the top make all the money and like, you're going to be this world class person and you've got to be a top one percenter and all this fun stuff. Yes, you do have to be a top one percenter. Yes, the people at the top make all the money and yes, it is a pyramid thing. But you weren't expecting me to say that. But it's definitely not a pyramid scheme. Only to think about the school system. There's one head master. He makes all the money at the top, right? He's a top one percenter. If not point point one point zero zero one percent. Only to think about the church with the Pope being at the top. I want you to think about the army, the military where there is someone right at the very top. Every organization needs a CEO. Every organization needs an owner. It happens every single time. Think about it. Christmas time. A lot of people love Christmas time. If you look side on it at Christmas tree, it probably looks like a pyramid thing too. Guess what? The star is on the top. You don't put three stars on the top of a Christmas tree. You put one. You put an angel or you put a star. And then you have lots of different decorations and you will find there'll be more decorations at the bottom than there are at the top because there's more space at the bottom. But underneath the Christmas tree, the thing that we love the most are all the gifts and the presents that you're going to be giving to your friends and also going to be receiving from family. And that's the idea of net marketing. There's always going to be one star. There's always going to be an organization underneath. But as long as there is a gift to give at the bottom, you are going to be on to a winner. So as long as your company pay you one time, deliver good products on time and have a benefit to the end user, you're in a pyramid thing. It's a pyramid hierarchy, but it's not a pyramid scheme. So let's get into point number one. Point number one is that you get benefits from the product. Okay. So there are benefits from the product. A lot of companies out there, whether it's skincare, health and wellness, weight loss, travel, financial, whichever sector you're in. If there's a benefit from the product, amazing. It's one of the reasons why a lot of people are in net marketing businesses. Right. A lot of people start as customers. They fall in love with the product. They fall in love with the community. They fall in love with the system. They fall in love with the mission behind the company so that they then become a promoter of the product. Eventually a builder of the business and then a leader of an organization. So number one, it's a benefit of the product. Number two, you don't need any qualifications. All right. So I went to university. I studied construction management. I wanted to be able to build houses and my dad, my mentor, used to always say, "Fraser, instead of building houses, instead of building other people's dreams, you need to help build your own dream. You need to help build other people's dreams in a business environment." But it's so true. I got a qualification and I didn't use anything from that qualification in order for me to build a network marketing business. So you could be a stay-at-home man with no qualifications. You could be a stay-at-home man with qualifications. You could be someone who has a law degree. You could be someone who has no degree. You could have someone who's got a load of ideas. You could be someone who has no ideas. There is no barrier to entry. It doesn't discriminate against anything. That's why net-on-marketing is so great. So number two is there's no qualifications needed. All right. Number three, you're going to be in one of the greatest positive environments. In fact, did you know that environment beats will? In fact, if I take the world's worst seed and put it between the greatest soil known to man, it will grow into a big tall tree. But if I take world's greatest seed and I put it in between two rocks, it won't grow at all. So environment beats will. In fact, there's a great clip of LeBron James and LeBron James, he gets given the ball, this moment's left and he passes it to someone. And the guy he passes it to looks at the three point throw. They've got to shoot it to win. There's moments left and instead of shooting, he goes, no, I'm going to turn on a pass it back to LeBron James. He's the best player. He knows what he's doing more than anyone else and LeBron looks at him in disgust and throws the ball back to him because he believes that his friend, his colleague, his teammate has been in the right environment. He believes in him so much. He'll make the three pointer. He shoots, he gets it. They win the game. Environment beats will. And in net worth marketing a lot of times when you're in your job, you're not in the right environment. You hate the person you work for. You don't like the people you work with. You're not that feeling positive when you leave or if you are feeling positive, it's because you have left. You need to understand and appreciate their net worth marketing. You are surrounded by positive people on the same mission. Now, yes, there are going to be people who try and pull you down. Yes, there are going to be people who try and stop you in the tracks. Yes, there are going to be people who try and make you feel bad for the idea of you growing yourself, but that's the whole thing about changing. The weak mind, it's a, oh, you've changed. The strong mind, it congratulate you for changing. And if anyone does come to you and say, hey, you've changed, I like you before. Just say, hey, thanks so much for realizing. I've been working hard on it, right? If you change your body and it was got better, you'd be proud of it. But if you change your mindset, people seem to think it's bad. Why? Because people will try and limit your success in order to keep their power. People will try and hold you back from succeeding just so that they feel that they're going to be able to be surrounded by you. Why? Because you've probably heard this before. You are the average of the five people you spend most time with, right? If you hang around five broke people, you'll be the sixth. If you hang around five rich people, you will be the sixth. So point number three, is net worth marketing provides a positive environment. Point number four, flexible hours. You get to choose when you go into work. It's a good thing and a bad thing, right? You get to choose when you go into work on a Monday morning, you're going to work. Yes or no? Are you going to do 20 hours, 30 hours, 40 hours of those 40 hours you commit to how many of those hours are actually productive? If you're not feeling great, do you go to work or not? If it's a Saturday night and there's an event happening, do you go to it or not? So although flexible hours is such a great reason why net or marketing is such a great business model and an amazing profession to be a part of, you also have to be committed and disciplined to the hours that you set. Otherwise, you'll fail. A lot of people, when they go full time in net or marketing, they leave a job, they go part time or they go full time into net or marketing. They have a struggle, but they just sit there doing nothing, twiddling their thumbs, fiddling with it with their fingers, twitching, fidgeting. And the moment that they realize what they actually have to do is the moment that they realize hang on a minute, net or marketing can be powerful just doing 10 hours, 20 hours a week. You don't need to be 100 hours a week to be able to crush it. You just got to be structured and that's what I love about net or marketing, flexibility. Point number five, security, right? It's crazy. I was speaking to a friend of mine, he's got a really great job and I said to him, I said, "Do you feel safe in that job?" He said, "No." I said, "But hang on a minute, there's a big supply for the job and small demand." Like, surely you feel safe in this job. He said, "No." Because as soon as someone younger or better comes along, I'm at risk. AI is in the situation now, in the conversation now, like I feel at risk. And it's funny because people think about net or marketing, people think, "Oh, you're only the top percentile maker. It's a scam. It's a scheme. It's this. It's that." But the reality is, having two incomes is surely better than having one, right? Just like having, if you were to have a seat, having two legs on the chair is way better than having one leg on the chair. Four legs on the chair is way better than having two legs on the chair. So having that side income that a lot of people call it, having that side hustle is super, super, super secure. And if you want to be able to sleep at night, start a business that can pay you the extra one, two, three, five hundred a month. I'll also say a security from a family perspective and a relationship perspective. They say the majority of the votes is now happened because of a lack of money. But what happens if you don't have a lack of money? And it could just be the difference between maybe two, three, four, five hundred dollars a month. What happens? Better relationships, less divorce, better family environment, net or marketing is incredible because of the security it can provide. All right, point number six, it's very, very low startup costs and the overheads is super, super, super, super, super low, right? It could be five hundred dollars to join and a hundred dollars a month. It could be a thousand dollars a join and two hundred dollars a month. It could be five thousand dollars a join and ten dollars a month. Right? Each company has their different price points and that's totally cool. But what I really want you to understand and appreciate, imagine if you were to start a Starbucks franchise, a McDonald's franchise, any franchise, how much does it cost? In some situations, it's five hundred thousand, seven hundred thousand, a million plus dollars to be able to have this franchise. So how long is it going to take for you to actually be in a profitable situation? It could take years and years and years. Heck, you might not even reach profitability. And this is why it's so important in net or marketing to understand you can join today and break even tomorrow, meaning that you can be in profit straight away. Out of friend of mine, he left school before I did, he left school before we did the university, I went to university, I did three years, racked up all this debt and he was like, hey, well, she'd been racking up all that debt and learning that one skill. I've been going to work, I've got three promotions already and I've been able to save this amount of money. I'm on the property ladder. That property is grown. So I've made X amount of money while you're in the minus. Now, yes, although I have a degree to show for it, I didn't necessarily use mine in my net or marketing business. So again, I'm not saying that school is good, bad, whatever. I'm just saying that it's very important to there's no barrier to entry when it comes to qualification, but also a financial commitment. All right, number seven, the unlimited potential to make an unlimited amount of money. You know, one of my biggest fears is someone comes to me on the first minute of the first of January every year and whisperes into my ear, hey, Fraser, this year, you're going to make $30,000. That is my one of my biggest fears. The idea of knowing how much I'm going to make means it there's a limit on what I can make. The idea of signing a contract to say how much I'm going to make, it doesn't motivate me. I don't wake up thinking, oh, I can't wait to go to work and get my set amount of money. Now, it's great. A lot of people have these situations and I'm super appreciative of all these different people. But in net market in one month, you can make $1,000, the next month, you can make $500, the next month, you can make $5,000, the next month, you can $2,000, then you can make $10,000, $20,000, $30,000, then back down to $200, and it's the roller coaster. And again, just on this, the roller coaster of entrepreneurship. I want you to think about the last time you were on a roller coaster and you were going up and it's as you're going up, the tracks up to the top on the this roller coaster. Some of you might be nervous, some of you might be excited, some of you might have full of energy, some of you might have anxiety. If you meet anxiety, hate it, nervous, want to get off, don't like roller coasters. But then when you're about to go down, there are people screaming, shouting, arms in the air, people are trying to grip on for day life, people are worried if they're strapped in and then you see a flash, the flash of light, which is the camera to document the most powerful part of the entire ride. The moment where you have lost all control, you can't control your face and it slams to a stop when you finish the ride, you get off, you're guided through the exit route and then you see a big screen in little boxes, right? A little big screen into little boxes and you see the number 32 and you see your face with your friends face, your friends got a zone in the air, you're hanging on for day life, it looks like you've vomited on the side and the vomit has hit someone behind you. That happens and here's what I really want you to realize, the massive growth are in the dips of your business. The massive growth is when that income goes from 1,500 to 500. It goes from 10,500. So yes, there's an unlimited potential, but one thing that people don't give net remarketing the true credit for is that you have the potential to make a lot of money and you have the potential to learn the most insanely powerful lessons that you will learn when you're in a life dip because there are more lessons to learn when you're going down than when you're going up. When things are going good and things are going up, life is easy, man, but when you get smacked in the face and the hard times hit, you're going to learn so many lessons. I think it's Mike Tyson who said everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. So true. Point number eight, the work from home or work wherever you want lifestyle. Imagine this, right? You've got your laptop and you decide that you know what? I'm bored of working in the Starbucks. I'm going to work from home today or I'm bored from working at home. I'm going to work in a hotel lobby or I'm bored from working in the hotel lobby. I'm going to book myself a one way ticket to Thailand and I'm going to work on the beach. Why? Because I'm making more money than I'm spending and I'm able to do it. I'm able to work from my laptop. It's the dream for a lot of people. There's books like beach money. There's books that can help you earn financial freedom and financial freedom really is having the money to be able to do what you want when you want with who you want. People come to me and they say, "Frazer, when will you retire?" And I'm only 36, right? So retirement is not really on the cards. But true entrepreneurship inside a net of marketing is the choice. That's what that's what retirement looks like in net of marketing. The choice of whether you're going to do the work that day or not. When you have a salary, when you have the job, retirement is, I know longer work and I get a retirement package. But in entrepreneurship in net of marketing, the idea is that you choose whether you work or not. That's what retirement looks like and you can do and live the laptop lifestyle. If you've ever wondered, how do I work at home around my kids? Net of marketing is for you. If you've ever wondered, how do I travel around the world and make more money than it costs to do it? Now, there will be moments in the year where you have to be at certain places at certain times. Those are the annual conferences, the net of marketing meetups, the team events. Outside of that, you can pretty much build this business wherever you are. If you have an international company, then you can go build the market, the different markets in France and Italy and Germany and the Philippines and Thailand and the US and Canada and Ecuador and different parts of the world. So working from home is one of the greatest reasons why you should consider net of marketing. And if you're in net of marketing, be proud that you're able to work from home. You're probably watching this video right now and it's counted as work time for you and you're thinking, how grateful am I? How blessed am I to be working from home right now? Point number nine, it gives you incredible purpose and direction. You know, there's many definitions of success, but the best measurement of success that I've ever heard was from a legend called Jim Rohn and he said success is determined by the number of people who mentioned your name in their success story. And I want you to just think about it. How many opportunities, how many businesses, how many models, how many professions, do you have the opportunity to have 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100, a thousand people say, I'm so grateful that I am at this position. I'm so grateful that I've been able to make this amount of money. And I just want to thank not just my family, not just my team, but my upline, my mentor, my hero. And then they mentioned your name. What else gives you that opportunity? I remember speaking to my mom a few years ago after I'd left home and I said, like, mom, like, did you always love being a mom? She said, yes, but now I've lost my identity because instead of everyone in the house saying, mom, mom, mom, I'm now in a situation where no one's calling me mom. No one's asking for my help. And I feel like, you know, getting involved in something like building a brand would be highly beneficial. And there are so many mums and dads in that situation and net remarketing gives you such great purpose, drive, ambition and direction to make a big change. I'll tell you later in point number 12, my absolute favorite reason why you do net remarketing. And it is tied to being a parent in net remarketing. As I was the kid, and I'll tell you more about that in a little moment. Number 10, one of my favorites, the opportunity to be surrounded by a lifelong journey of personal development. Personal development is one of the greatest things. In fact, people say, how much time do you spend reading books, listening to podcasts, watching YouTube videos? And I don't count the amount of time. I count the amount of time that I'm not doing it because I know that if I can do 24 hours a day, seven days a week of personal development, I am going to grow no one will be able to grow faster than me. I might be thinking, how is that possible? Get an Alexa. Get a Google home device, an Apple home device. And just say to it, Alexa, play the net worth marketing ninja podcast. And guess what? It will just keep playing episode one, two, three, all the 300, 400 episodes that we have at the podcast. Now, you might be asleep. And the Alexa might be in another room, but I'll tell you subconsciously, you're learning all the lessons because personal development finds its way through the cracks and the walls of your home. When you step into the car, is the radio playing? Is the music playing? Or is there a podcast playing? When you're at home, what about to watch Netflix? Are you watching Netflix? Are you watching educational YouTube videos? Because if you just get one percent better every single day, you will be three percent, you will be a 30 percent, you'll be 300 percent better at the end of the year, depending on how much personal development you actually do and take action on. Remember, you have to learn and do, learn and do, learn and do. So being in an industry that supports and is empowered by personal development can put you leagues ahead of so many people. Number 11. This is the first incul related one that I'm talking about, which a lot of the haters will go, oh yeah, it's only all the people, only the people at the top make all the money, oh, it's a scam, oh, it's a pyramid thing. To pyramid scheme. Residual income. Residual income is defined by the amount of money the income that you generate from the work that you did in the past. So if I do some work today and I get an income a year from now, two years from now, three years from now, five years from now, ten years from now, without any effort for that from that original business, that is class as residual income. Michael Jackson, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, all these legends earn residual income. From their music that they created, they created the music once, they recorded it on an album once, maybe they did a few different takes of it, but it's on an album once and every time that album sells on iTunes or in the stores, if that's still happening, then they get a commission of that. It's a called a royalty, also known as residual income. So imagine that, working one, three, five, ten years, solidly, whilst going through all the other points I've just mentioned with the idea that you can actually retire on an income that you are, is way beyond your wildest expectations and dreams. That's what net worth marketing can provide you. But here's one last reason that I love more than the more. And that's number 12, which is leaving a legacy legacy beats currency. And I'll tell you really, really quickly, quick story. My net of art in career started in 1987, but I wasn't born until 1988. And people often kind of think like, well, how's that possible? It's not possible. And my mum and dad, they were living in a home at the time and they rented all the rooms out, five bedroom house, they rented all the rooms out to complete strangers. And my dad one day woke up, my mum was pregnant with me. He went downstairs and he saw a newspaper open on the kitchen table. And there was a picture of an Aston Martin sports car on black and white. And above it, there's three words, MLM, MLM, MLM. Now MLM was known for multi-level marketing, which we now know as net twerk marketing. He did not think that. He thought it stood for Make Love Monthly. So we called up the guy, the guy invited him to an event in black pool. And I was in the room in the room. And since that moment, I saw my mum and dad join the profession of net marketing, go all in full time, big time, and it build an incredible life for themselves. And because I saw them around persons element, I got in person's element. Because I saw the make money from home, I wanted to make money from home. Because I saw people calling them their heroes, I wanted that. I saw them as my heroes. And if you're in net marketing right now and you're around kids, let me tell you, as the kid who grew up around net marketing, it is the greatest thing for you that you can ever do. And if you're a hater looking into net marketing, complaining and moaning about only the people at the top me called the money blah, blah, blah, blah. What I will say to you, when you took your kid into bed at night, do you think to yourself, my kid is going to be so proud of me in 10 years from now? Or do you think my kid is going to be so ashamed of me 10 years from now? Now, this is not an attack on you. It's just I want you to open your mind to the idea of making a change. Because if the things to change, you got to change. The things to get better, you got to get better. And all it is is making a decision to take a real careful look at what net marketing can do for you and your family. Because true success, I know there are many definitions. The measurement is determined on the number of people who mention your success story. But true success in my opinion is when the people that you've been responsible for all your life, mainly your very, very close friends and your family, the day you're about to die, they whisper into your ear and say to you, Hey, you're my hero. That's true success. And net worth marketing allows you that ability to make that happen. So if you've got value, here's what I would love you to do. Take a screenshot of what's on your device right now, post it onto your Instagram stories, put the link on there to help other people and also make sure you tag me, phrase, a Brooks online so that I can share you on. FAQs

Network marketing is a business model where you promote products and build a team, earning income from sales and the sales of your team. It's a pyramid-like hierarchy but not a pyramid scheme, as long as products are delivered and benefits are provided.

No, it's a pyramid hierarchy, not a scheme. It's similar to other organizations like schools or the military, with a top leader and a broader base, but it's legitimate if the company pays you, delivers good products, and benefits the end user.

You get benefits from the products themselves, such as skincare, health, or travel perks. Many people start as customers who love the product and community before becoming promoters.

No qualifications are needed. There's no barrier to entry, so anyone—regardless of education or background—can join and build a business.

It surrounds you with like-minded, positive people on the same mission. This environment beats willpower, helping you grow, just like the world's worst seed can thrive in good soil.

Income potential is unlimited and can vary month to month, like a roller coaster. You can earn from hundreds to thousands of dollars, with growth often happening during dips in your business.
