12 ADPs we're adjusting after preseason week 2

Big show for you here today. That's right. It is a fantastic, a banger of an episode for you. Mike Wright, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway of the fantasy footballers joined me to go over the 12 Yahoo ADPs that are incorrect right now. That is right. They've got 12 players that they think need to be going much, much higher in Yahoo Drafts right now. We've got running backs. We've got some wide receivers. We've got a quarterback somewhere along the way here. Also, we get into the Gichon Watson news. They asked Gen T news, K Sean booty traded to the Houston Texans. Oh, by the way, that's not all because Justin Boone joins me at the end of the program to go over his league winners. That's right. Who are the players that are going to bring home some titles for you fantasy players out there? All that and more kind of on today's show. Let's get into it. What's going on, everyone? I'm Matt Harmon. Welcome to the Yahoo fantasy forecast. And it is a hell of a data talk ball. And I always say it's a hell of a data talk ball. But today truly is. It's one hell of a data talk ball because it's a big show. And I always say it's a big show. But today it's the biggest show is because yeah, later on in the show, Justin Boone's going to be joining me. Of course, he always does here on Mondays. But before that, what a treat to welcome to the show. The fantasy footballers themselves. We've got Mike Wright. We've got Jason Moore and surprising me today because yesterday, I didn't see that he was going to be on the show. Andy Holloway is like, listen, we're going on Harmon show. There's there's no way I'm sitting this one out. Boys, it's good. It is good to see you guys again. I just hung out with you guys a ton at the fantasy football expo last month. And here you are, gracing me with your presence. I am just thrilled to be talking with you guys today. It is most definitely August. And we are happy to be here. Andy, that's my that's what Jason, that's all you got. Those are those are those are fact is all I expected you guys to just come alongside me. Yeah, but what you normally have or more, it's nice to be able to return the favor. Harmon was on our show back when we were in a bedroom. And so yeah, it's been a long relationship here. That's all you has. And a good relationship, by the way, too, a good a good relationship, not just a long one, but a good relationship. No, for those unfamiliar with our long term relationship, I used to work with these guys doing reception perception in the ultimate draft kit. It was a hell of a partnership for a long time. And these guys are still absolutely crushing it without me. And things are going okay on my end as well. So listen, at what's on the free agency. Yeah, well, what can you do? What can you do? But things are going well for all of us involved here. And this is going to be a great show today because these guys are going to tell us what's wrong with current Yahoo ADP. They've each got some players that they think need to be going higher than they are currently on the Yahoo platform. So we're going to take that feedback. And you guys are going to bump all these players up your board. We got a ton to get into there. But before we do that, we got a little bit of fantasy fallout today. We got three news items to hit boys before we jump into these ADPs that needed adjusting. First of all, the Sean Watson has been named in quarterback week one starter after I said yesterday, he was probably never going to take another snap with the team after the press conference where he basically had the self-awareness of a potato tough. He has more self-awareness than the Browns do. I mean, that's what's crazy. It's like he has no self-awareness. But the Browns are like, did you not read the situation? No one wants them there. The fans don't want them there. He doesn't want to be there for the fans. And then to just the icing on the cake, he gets outplayed by his shoe door standards and preseason. It looks terrible. And then they're like, hey guys, hey guys, it's time to name the starter Watson. What a fantastic timing by the Cleveland Browns. Yeah, no question about that. Here's the reality, guys. I feel like what this tells us is that they were going to do this no matter what. Like there was no real competition. They were going to roll these, these, this, this out there. Shoulder Sanders is going to be the backup. Watson's going to start week one. I would say, though, first two weeks, Jacksonville Jaguars, a way game, Tampa Buckneyers, a way game. Week three, they're home against the Carolina Panthers. Do any of you three, Mike, I'll ask you, do you think there's any way that Watson is still starting for this team by week three when they come in and home against the Panthers? I don't mind that theory. The problem I had is I was with you of there's, there's a zero percent chance that Sean Watson's going to start ever again for the Cleveland Browns after the multiple what Achilles injuries. It was like, you kind of got a, the Browns were, you don't want anyone to get hurt. So that's not what I'm saying, but it's like the situation was, was handed to you. You can get out. You made a horrible mistake. You made a horrible PR mistake. You made a horrible football decision. As it turns out, you destroyed your team. You burned all your picks and then your cap has been destroyed by this guy. Like you had an out. You could have just said, we're going to put him like at the back of the bench where we need to try something new. We need to see if she do where it could be the future. It was right there. So the fact that they decided to even go week one week of Watson at the start when the other guys are healthy. It blew my mind. I, I, week three, I think I, I expect Watson will be starting for this team for the, for the foreseeable future. It won't be the entire season. We know that, but I don't know. Maybe that'll be a crazy, crazy game if he flops the first two on the road. Yes. To run him out there in front of the home crowd. That's, I mean, they have a path to number one. Regardless of the old. But man, that will be that's just, I mean, this is the bed they made, I guess. I mean, we, we, you didn't have to do that. Cleveland, you didn't have, you didn't have to. But, um, here we are. Pretty outrageous, by the way, that the Browns spent the 94th overall pick on a quarterback last year. And there has been 0.0 buzz on Dylan Gabriel, even making a dent in what is one of the more pathetic quarterback battles. I can remember in recent history. So things are going great in Cleveland. I, I do love the fact that Casey Concepcion is one of my favorite receiver prospects to come into the league for the last few years. And I've got to like convince myself that now, we just got to get should or sanders in there by week three. And then things will be all right. Uh, I'm in the coping corner. And it's not even week one boy. So, uh, that's not a good spot here. Justin Jefferson last year without good quarterback play. I mean, it's gonna be, it's gonna be tough. Concepcion looks awesome. Love him. I'm completely with you. I'm like, I really want to be in. But then you just have to go shoot. It's a, they, he still has to catch balls that are thrown to him. And it's probably not going to be thrown to him. Well, well, at least he won't be running routes very far down field. So there's, there's the coping going even further. Uh, speaking of the coping corner, I think we avoided a situation where Ashton Genti drafters have to be thrown into the coping corner here because this news broke quite literally with about five minutes left in the show last night with Scott Pinauski and I talking about this. So we did not have a full reaction to the Ashton Genti news, you know, five 30 PM yesterday, it felt pretty dire. Honestly, we got off kind of the best situation possible here. It looks like Ashton Genti only has a sprained ankle coming out of the practice injury from Sunday. Now to be fair, we don't know how high this sprained ankle is. Which is obviously the, the concern that does matter, Mike. However, it looks like we've waited like a season ending catastrophic injury for Ashton Genti. So, uh, Andy, I'll start with you here. If you're drafting a team right now today, what where does Ashton Genti fall in your rankings? What do you do with Mike Washington reaction to this news here? The Raiders backfield. It was absolutely insane yesterday because people were in the middle of their drafts trying to hedge. We were sitting here with our rankings going like, how you don't pull them necessarily off the board without conclusive news, but we don't necessarily want to have people drafting him in the exact same spot. So it was, it was a tough situation. I'm in a draft today in an FFT open draft. I was sitting there in the late second round. Genti was on the board and I took him. I took Genti at that spot. I felt like it was worth it. You know, whether it lingers a week or two into the year, I feel like the value on him late second. You know, if I get Mike Washington later, I mean, maybe I think about that, but at this point, I think we just avoided one of the worst injuries on one of the worst draft day situations and, you know, the alarm that was going out on Twitter, all the unverified reports of what happened and us trying to draw conclusions from them turning the music on the boom box off at practice. I mean, this is what it is now in fantasy. We got to react and we got to react quick, but you know, I know there were some people that made trades probably on the first bit of news and drafted Mike Washington very high, but as of right now, I think we're all breathing a sigh of relief. As long as that like high ankle sprained doesn't go so high that it becomes like a knee, I think we're going to be okay. I think that would be a deal I will say just yeah for me personally I dropped genty behind guys I honestly kind of wanted to drop mine anyways Kenneth Walker Derek Henry. I was like kind of look at as Scott And I were talking about that's at the beginning of yesterday's episode I'm just kind of looking for a reason to boost those guys like I think I felt a little more confident in those offensive ecosystems Anyways, even though I'm really a big fan of what genty can be for the Raiders this sort of gives you an excuse to push him down I think the right move is into that maybe early third round range for me late second I think is is appropriate for the action genty fall after the injury But yeah, I think we've avoided the worst case scenario here last piece of news to get to before we jump into our exercise of the day Keishan Booty traded to the Houston Texans for a 2028 seventh round pick and Jalen Reed safety there I think this one makes a lot of sense obviously losing Jaden Higgins was a was a huge bummer last week for Houston Texans for the season they needed a starting outside receiver Jason thoughts on Keishan Booty getting sent to the Houston Texans. I mean, I think it's one of those trades It's good for literally everyone might not be good for the Patriots as a team But from from a fantasy football perspective it opens up pathways one. It's good for stride I think you know, this was a real problem if you only have Niko and then the the hope of Tankdale You needed another wide receiver Booty's good. He's a good wide receiver. So I think he's going to make an impact on this team Whether or not he is very fantasy relevant on his own That he you know, I imagine he's more of like a a flex option But then if you look at the pay the Patriots side you've got things opened up a little bit more Kyle Williams Romeo dobs who gets absolutely no, you know, I mean just crickets around him He's going to be a relevant player a relevant player. So, um, you know, this and it doesn't I don't think the loss Here is enough with with the weapons. I have to hurt Drake May so similar to the DJ Moore to You know the bills. I think this is just one of those trades that every single fantasy asset is an arrow up Mike any any different opinion there No, I it's I'm curious how he's going to fit in, you know the the majority of the stuff we saw from that Booty was asked to do for the Patriots is like, you know get down feel be a deep threat and it's like Just how was that going to work with the where Niko really succeeds, you know I just when I watch Niko I just feel like his you know the dig route or like that in that the deep in route is just like He just destroys people with that going on So it's how will that fit with it is booty a complete enough player that he can slip into what the Texans actually need from him So some questions, but I'm overall I'm with Jason. It's like this is it's just it's great. It's great news for For everybody involved Yeah, I'll go ahead and back you up there on the deep dig routes being the strength of Niko Collins's game That's been something that's like a just stood out with him ever since he really broke onto the scene here in 2023 Especially I mean he was always a good player kind of an underrated player in my opinion before he really broke out in 2023 But that's really been the strength of his game the last three years and I think what's interesting is Keishan Booty kind of was A little bit of a sacrificial extra seaver for the doing the Patriots last year and then you know Jason You brought this up. I'm 13 spots ahead of ADP on Romeo dobs even before this trade happened because I think there's almost no way That dobs lines up as the primary extra seaver in on this Patriots offense like he's gonna get moved around and get some really interesting Layup matchups and then flipping it over to Houston that push and pull between Booty who I think can be a little better Utilized as a Z receiver and like kicking into the slot then a pure X That'll be fascinating with Niko because I mean he's basically just lined up outside on the line of scrimmage And that's it like at a higher rate than any receiver over the last three years Does he get moved around the formation because I think there's a I think the entire fantasy Community has been sleeping on the fact that like Niko Collins has wide receiver one overall in his range of outcomes before this trade Is certainly after this trade still to so he's a guy that every time in the second round even with this Keishan Booty trade Like I think that only could allow Niko to even if it moves around like 10% more than he did last year That would be a huge improvement, and I still by the way like Jalen Noah is a as a late round sleeper. He's a yeah He's a slot-only player potentially, but a guy that I think was better on filming the stats So I think that you guys are right on about this that the real takeaway is that basically everybody involved is a winner from this one And I think it makes both offenses just a little bit more clear in terms of the distribution But that's the news of the day had to whip through some of those, you know Maybe unfun headlines to start, but we got into a good place with the Texans and the Patriots there now Let's get into our exercise of the day. We're gonna identify some players that need to have their ADPs Adjusted we're gonna start with you Mike your first ADP on Yahoo that needs to be adjusted Give us your guy here So it was funny because you you mentioned the player it's it's Kenneth Walker and you were like I just moved genty You know after Kenneth Walker welcome to the club Where we've been here all year bro. We we're not grafting ash to genty above Kenneth Walker. It's all right I couldn't I couldn't get into it the team environment is just like What the Kansas City Chiefs can do when they are fully functioning now we haven't seen a fully functioning Kansas City Chiefs offense in Multiple years and you're like there's there's a bunch of different reasons that you could say maybe it's this maybe it's that Like maybe it's Matt Nagy and but now he's gone and I think Kenneth Walker, you know, I am I'm more so on the side of like a running back doesn't really transform your entire team But this is a big move. I think for the Kansas City Chiefs They haven't had a a quality back like Walker in I mean since the since the heyday of cream hunts when he was on the Kansas City Chiefs and on top of that like when you think about cream hunt with Andy Reed the dude was the bell cow He was getting everything on that team and Kenneth Walker can really do everything we had Maybe some concerns of the prospect not you know in college wasn't really used as a pass catcher Well over the last couple years We've seen no is the hands are they're fine. They can work out. He can catch some boss from from Patrick my homes And he's just he is truly a special player. We know the advanced metrics of like breaking tackles He is since he's been in the league. He is among the league leaders of those things of just being a fish And he can hit a home run. He's he they finally have a player who can score from anywhere on the field if if the play Unveils itself in in the right way and I think it helps the receivers to they just the chiefs have been They've been lacking fire power for so long. So this was a huge move a necessary move and you know the cheering on top of You at least are what we're getting the reports out of training camp is like Kenneth Walker's doing everything They're gonna they're gonna have this guy touch the ball forever the only arguments against Kenneth Walker is injury Which I think Kenneth Walker gets a more of a bad rap for that than he should it's like his first two years in the league 15 games played like When you have a running back at fantasy football you should automatically assume they're gonna miss two games This is just how the NFL works. So that's not bad. Year three the 11 games. Okay, now we have a season where we truly miss stuff Then he appears in all 17 last year I think that he I think the rap he is taking for that is just it's unwarranted and it's truly the only issue with Drafting him for fantasy. So up heat to me. He's a easily a first round pit the fact that people are getting him in the second is just Absolute theft Mike Mike has been there Yeah, I'm a day one with Kenneth Walker so I'm pretty passionate all his dreams came through a long time for this moment, you know I mean listen, I was gonna you you pitched it there perfectly at the end Mike So I was gonna say I mean you want to say his 80p's gonna be higher He's currently drafted 14th overall So this is a guy your rubber stamping like you're late first round pick your picking on the turn You're taking Kenneth Walker if you get one of those spots. Yeah, 100 percent. I think it's like You know, it Gibbs B. John McCaffrey And cook those are the four. It's like I think those guys deserve to be drafted over Walker after that And I put John Taylor there. I think you can take in a walker over Taylor and feel just fine Yeah, I think that's fair like I said. I've wanted to get there with Kenneth Walker Um, I'm not clearly as much of a hipster as Mike right over there, you know, I get it I'm coming in like hey, have you heard of this band Mumford and sons like they actually They do some pretty good stuff and Mike's like bro. I was there the first album. I heard the banjo wait for you the beginning Harman Unbelievable. I can't believe I've been outstomped on the Kenneth Walker situation No, yeah, I think at this point he makes total sense is one of those turn players right now for me And you know the genty injury absence just kind of allows you to smoothly get into that Let's stick at the running back position here and go to Jason your first player a little bit later in the draft But still at the running back position. You need much much later Yeah, and honestly you're saying we need to have these guys adjusted please don't leave them there That's why I like him in the 10th round Jordan Mason Is currently being drafted as the running back 38 There are 32 teams and so you know, you're already behind backups. You're already behind other situations what you you know, like we see with the Steelers, uh, you know, we don't know is it Rico or Jalen Waddle? Jordan Mason's well beyond all of these players. And again, the question comes down to well, is he the starter or is it Aaron Jones? To me, it is a definitive, it's not a question. It is absolutely Jordan Mason as the starter. What Kevin O'Connell did this off season completely what he has said and what he has implemented, uh, a vertical wide zone scheme totally changing how they run the ball from previous seasons. They're bringing basically over what the San Francisco 49ers have done where Jordan Mason thrived since Mason came in the league. Literally, it's only Jamir Gibbs and Devon H and with a higher yards per carry because he is a tackle breaking machine on that scheme. So now they're switching their scheme to focus on that run game. And even last year with a really, really bad offense, if you look at the games where, uh, JJ McCarthy didn't start, you already had Jordan Mason over 10 and a half half PPR points per game. So Kyler coming in, a trust in Kevin O'Connell, a scheme that fits Jordan Mason's skill set and an older Aaron Jones says to me, there's no risk when you're taking him in the 10th round as running back 38. But that is a depth piece that matters. And I fully expect him to be a weekly guy that is played in all 12, you know, if you're in a 12 man league, he will be started every single week. I believe most of the season and you're getting him for free. Andy, do you have like strong feelings on this Vikings offense because I originally probably back in June. Remember saying Joel on the show, Joel Smith on the show, I'm like, I think I'm going to be a Kyler Murray guy this year. And you know, that was pre-Europe vacation me. That was like a different person back then. I think I came back, you know, maybe just a little more loose, whatever, not sure what happened. But ever since then, I have just felt a little less, little tempered on this bike. Tempered on the Vikings offense because you can sit there and say like, there's no question there's going to be a quarterback upgrade. And I think this will be a quarterback upgrade. And it's going to happen. However, you guys watched Kyler Murray for many years as, you know, tortured Cardinals fans as you are. And you know, it's not like there's some flaws to the Kyler Murray profile overall. We booted him out of town. Yeah. I mean, Kyler free personally. I don't know. But yeah, we actually need a participant. Got him an Uber. But no, it became a frustrating exercise out here in Arizona where Kyler, you know, he had an MVP start to the season years ago in Arizona. He started out whatever was seven and seven or eight. No. And, and you saw the potential that was always there. But ever since the injury, you also saw a more skittish quarterback in the pocket. Somebody that was kind of unwilling to step up and, and make the throw in necessary lower a dot opportunities. I mean, he was able to support the Andre Hopkins to a fantastic fantasy season. That's what you're hoping for with Jefferson. But you also have like a lot of other pieces here in this offense. Right now, I mean, Jordan Mason in the 10th, I don't mind taking the shot there. At the same time, it's going to be multiple backs. It's going to be an offense that's relying on Kyler Murray. Can you support, you know, enough, can they be a top half offense is my question for those goal line opportunities. And, and you know, Kyler, I'm praying for the Jefferson managers to get what they need out of him. I don't think by any indications, we've gotten the impression that it was a great camp for Kyler. It was just better than McCarthy. That, I mean, that was, it's a real two-opinic situation going on, or Shadour Watson. You don't get glowing reports. Oh, you had a great day. It's more like which guy threw fewer interceptions at camp. I mean, it, it's a little bit, um, you want, you want a guy to come out and win the job. And instead it's just getting close to the season where it's like, well, we've got to give the job to someone. Like, it's like you said about the, the Watson thing. Like, that was probably always going to be the plan. Kyler from the moment he signed the, it was going to be the plan. So, um, it's going to be a trying year for Kevin O'Connell in terms of like what we believe about him as like fantasy managers and fans. And what he's able to execute because if you go back to back years, not really able to get your quarterback across, you know, to where you need him to be after losing Darnell, it's going to be wild. So yeah, I would say I'm like, I'm very tempered as well. I'm hopeful for the fantasy production of those white outs. But, um, yeah, we'll never not be nervous for Kyler. Well, and Jason, I think one of the points that you made there that really does ring true and it kind of dovetails what Andy was saying there about this is really a, I think a bit of a statement year for Kevin O'Connell. Every year, he kind of says like, we, this is a, we got to commit to the run game. We really have to build that out. But this year, I think there's actually a chance he does really commit to that hiring Frank Smith over from the Miami Dolphins. I think is a big deal and kind of bringing in a zone scheme that does fit Jordan Mason. So, you know, I'm playing a little bit of devil's advocate on the whole Viking situation. But I am with you, man, I actually have Jordan Mason ranked a little bit at ADP as well. I think he should be a guy that's taken in the 90s somewhere. You know, it's good. Yeah. Yeah. Hand the ball up to Mason. Make it easier on your, on your quarterbacks. That's what that's okay. Oh, that was a quick work right there. We, we are all on the truck of why is Kyler so gigantic or driving him out of town? Okay. I get it. I get it. Good work team. He's way bigger than us. Yeah. That's not the scale. Yeah. Well, you know, I don't know if Kyler can take up the entire back of a pickup truck. If you're listening to this on the audio version, by the way, this is a great opportunity. That's a nice game for some reason. Yeah. Listen, we don't need to get into Arizona geography here. I just wanted to show. However, we do need to get to Andy's first player that he needs to, you know, push up the board here a little bit. Andy, we're sticking it running back here. Who is your first ADP that needs to go up on Yahoo? Yeah. I think this one's, this one's super interesting and people are going to have different opinions. But I think Jadarian Price in Seattle is right now where he's being drafted. That's pretty much how I see the floor for Jadarian Price. You're going to be outside the top 24 right now. I see it's ADP of 65 overall. It's like RB 26 or seven. To me, you, you look at what this office is and it's, it's perfect. It kind of works with what Mike brought up with Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker was a huge part of a Super Bowl winning offense, Super Bowl MVP. And here's an opportunity for a guy who was platooning. That's probably too generous. Who was the bottom of the backup committee situation with Jeremiah Love in college. And so you had kind of a question marks, right? You want to see all that production and those production metrics. You want to see more opportunities in the passing game. But we have to see them now on the NFL field with the opportunity. Seattle is going to give him. This is a player that has elite vision. I think that's his biggest strength. We've seen in training camp so far. I don't know if you're tuning into the hard knocks world and how much hype that builds up. But a lot of passing game work for Jadarian Price and a lot of excitement from the coaching staff and being able to utilize him in the receiving game. And that's something we didn't see in college. So at the end of the day, you're looking at Sharbon A coming back from injury. You're looking at a first round running back, first pick off the board from the Super Bowl champs. And I just don't think, you know, what did they have to top 24 running backs last year with Sharbon A and Ken Walker? I think there were in that department. I think Walker was maybe 20 was he higher than 20 right around there. I don't have it in front of me. But some were in that one too. Usable options. Usable options and especially if one guys off the field and we'll see where Sharbon A is. But I just think the versatility, the vision, the explosiveness, the ability to accelerate in the open field on a team with weapons like this. I'm pretty excited about it. I think the opportunities there. And again, it's all about in fantasy, the value, right? Are you getting a player that, you know, you think can outkick the ADP? And I think that's the situation for price. Yeah, Mike, I don't want to overthink this one because I've been kind of just in line with ADP on generic price. And at the same time, Andy does make a lot of compelling points about this. And especially like this is an offensive ecosystem, we should want to be tethered to. So like, give me your read, Mike, on on where you think price it like is the appropriately priced or should he be going a little bit higher? I think you're he's at the appropriate spot. If if I were going to move him at all, it would be, you know, a little bit up. There's, you know, the red flags of just what does this team want to do? How do they want to use their running backs? Because the utilization, why they yes, technically, Charbs and Walker were both usable. It was like, why are we do we keep forcing Charbony onto the field? It's, you know, like, oh, big explosive play. We're in the red zone. Get Charbs in there so we can get two yards of carrier, whatever. So I don't know. Make you some add they want the Super Bowl with that strategy, Mike. Well, one of them was the Charbs was gone. Super Bowl MVP. Yeah, the one was for the one that kept him fresh all year just for that Super Bowl run. He would have been just fine either way, but, but going to that team, that situation, it's a place you want to be. And the first round running backs are, you know, bet against the Metro on peril. You know, it doesn't always work shout out Clyde Edwards a layer, but the majority of the time and actually Rashad Penny, same team. But Normally first round running backs are really strong bets and the fact that it's You know, it's not a first rounder like we have with genty last year where it's you're You're spending your your first round fantasy pick on that running back or it or even Jeremiah love this year who The talent is absurd But what happens in that cardinal's environment and you're paying a second round pick so his ABP I like it for price Yeah, like I said, I kind of want to be in line with this one. I don't know if I want him to go too much higher But that is also still you know withstanding that I have yet to learn and I keep asking this every time I talk about him What is Zach Charbonne's peptide routine if he's gonna be returning in like week three or something? Okay I'm still looking someone in the YouTube comments needs to do an investigative report I don't have time for it somebody out there needs to do an investigative report on the Zach Charbonne peptide situation, but with that we're gonna take our first quick break and we come back. We're running through more ADPs that need to be higher According to the fantasy footballers. We'll get into that right after this All right, we're back. We're continuing to go through some ADPs here with the fantasy footballers that they say need to be higher and listen first three Solid work boys solid work, but Mike for your second one. This is when I'm absolutely rubber stamping This is a guy I can't believe people don't want to draft. So hit us with your second ADP that needs to be higher right now I can tell you why they don't want to draft him is because this guy has just it's been It's he has been a what if player his entire career even though he is like I think it's over the last five years Only him and Derek Henry have been top 24 running backs at the end of the year we're talking about Deandre Swift Of the Chicago Bears. Hey, oh six years. You got our little stat up there. Nice Yeah, I don't like I have I've been the by far the most vocal of disparaging Deandre Swift over the course of the fantasy footballers I've always felt like he is a top tier athlete Maybe not the best football player, but we did see you know on a couple years ago before he got the bag When he was on the Eagles when he's on when he has a great offensive line He's such an athlete. He can make stuff happen And then Goes to the Bears. It's not it's not necessarily the best But then Ben Johnson comes in and says we have to fix the offensive line throw all the money in the world at it Doesn't always work but it works for them. They had major improvements over any Any category of offensive line that you care about the Chicago Bears got way better last year And Deandre Swift is still being barely drafted you know as as a running back to type where he's coming off of his best career In terms of you know most yards and like the categories that we actually counted that we care about So the fact that you can get a part of the Bears offense which we all want it I mean, yeah, we're all clamoring. We're all getting in gang fights of are you team loveland burden roam And it's like little Swift is over here man. He's gonna be the primary running back and calm when unguy is Dealing with his hyper extended me at the moment. I don't know how long he'll be out Does that increase his chance of maybe missing other time with certain injuries Meanwhile here's Swift He's just gonna score a ton of fantasy points on one of the highest powered offenses in the league and people just don't want him So I don't I'm legit don't don't adjust Swift. He is just an absolute steel and drafts right now for me I love this one and it's for the reason that you said there I mean, I've been saying all offseason my answer to which bears player do you want is just yes That definitely goes for the three pass catchers But it also extends to Deandre Swift I mean your point about the offensive line is well taken Mike and you know Ben Johnson like in that by week The early by week they had last year They came out in was weeks six against norland saints just Laying the hammer from a rushing game perspective and Ben Johnson takes like an abnormal amount of interest for an NFL head coach in Installing their run game every single week. I mean, this is like his we think about obviously all the cool stuff They do in the passing game designing guys open everything and that's a huge part of it But his bread and butter is designing an incredibly Well-constructed super buttoned up rushing attack and yeah for me running back 20 ADP for Deandre Swift I haven't running back 17 like when you get into the forties and you're looking at like this guy's I like Travis H and I'm not taking Josh Jacobs I'm not taking Camp Scataboo there like 100% the guy that you want in that range is Deandre Swift any dissenting opinions Andy jason The nice thing is is that we know how sincere Mike hears because there have been years in which he's tried I mean he hates Deandre Swift. I tried to replace Swift last year with Monunguy Yeah, I mean he has tried so hard over the years to just wipe him from the NFL relevancy Even even you know the successful year in Philadelphia right we saw We all kind of are like well look at those holes. He's running through. I mean this is just anybody could do that Like we haven't wanted to give him credits since he got kind of ran out of town in in Detroit. So For Mike to be this convicted for our excitement for the Bears I don't really have a dissenting opinion there. I think it's a strong pick Yeah, I think he is worthy of being picked there and we'll finish as I'm running back too because he always does I don't think he has the talent To be one of those top six like total breakout. This is the year where he breaks out But he's gonna be ahead of where his ADP is right now. Yeah Yeah, that makes a lot of sense look at the growth the personal growth On Mike right here as a Deandre Swift backer in the year 2026 I'm a man of the people Speaking of personal growth The next player that we're gonna talk about here Jason's second player This is a guy that his quarterback just last week in an interview with the athletic. So this is his favorite teammate Journey that Jared Goff has ever seen that is a wide receiver Jamison Williams So Jason tell us why Jamo needs to be going a little higher right now Jamison Williams has been a player. I've been slower to fall in love with as well I loved him coming out of college. I mean he was unbelievable He was my number one ranked wide receiver then he was drafted number 12 overall and then if I'll draft He's just a special player Took some time to get going a bit of a knucklehead to start Had to stop betting on games stop betting on games But you look two years ago two years ago. He had a thousand yards. He was a top 20 wide receiver Last year and this is something I think most everyone out there will be like what that's not right He was the wide receiver nine in half PPR. He was a top 10 fantasy wide receiver last year He got off to such a slow start and then if you remember halfway through the year You know Dan Campbell took over play calling duty was like we we got to fix this from that point on they they had a buy week I think a week nine week ten on the rest of the season He was the wide receiver five in fantasy from that point forward on pace for 1400 yards It's like he is the wide receiver two for a great offense the bears. We all want pieces of them. They might be a great offense We know the Detroit Lions are great offense. They have been a great offense year after year after year And when you know that tea Higgins. He's you know super highly drafted as the wide receiver two four to the bangles George Pickens super highly drafted, you know as the wide receiver two for the Cowboys I don't believe that James would James and Williams isn't even being drafted as a wide receiver two He's outside the top 24 in ADP and this is a guy who just finished top 10 and Currently Sam LaPorta is dealing with an injury that you know Maybe it was a contact issue on the hip. Maybe it was kind of a complication of the surgery. He had last year Time will tell on that, but we do know that when LaPorta misses games Williams goes nuclear so to me where he is in the draft. I think He has an upside on this offense that most of the other players in that range and that you know fifth round six round They just they can't compete with the Lions offense 67th overall ADP on James Williams right now. I have him as a top 50 player I love that you point out that you kind of get to do the choose your own adventure is the way I've been putting it with Or choose your own narrative really with the James and Williams first half second half split Was it because Dan Campbell took over the play calling was it because Sam LaPorta got hurt? Well, I see we're gonna have kind of both those variables at this point I mean Drew pettings the offensive coordinator, which is I think is gonna be fine But is so will be Dan Campbell's vision for this team But let me ask you this Jason What what do you what is your response to what I guarantee is already some of the comments here because I know we've gotten them previously When you say like James Williams is a good pick. I can't do it. I can't do the weekly roller coaster He's got me like four zeros last year whatever it was. What do you say to those people? I would say that when you get to draft a player like that After the first four rounds, which is where he's going then you can take volatility You can actually volatility is not bad for fantasy football because if you average a lot of points But not enough on a week to get a win We've done the studies that show like you actually want the massive Outpourings that get you the W on a week That's what James and Williams can do. So if I if he was a second-round pick a third-round pick That might be tough because you're saying he's my wide receiver one He's my wide receiver two he could be your wide receiver three easily Where he's going in drafts right now you tell me I get that kind of high upside on the weeks where he does hit That's fine. I'm not afraid of volatility at that point in the draft All right, Andy for your second player. You're gonna be telling us about someone. I don't I don't believe as many people have spoken about here in August. I don't think he's been brought up on this show. - Oh, you never heard of him. - I haven't seen anybody tweeting about this guy. Who's your second, any of you? - He's a little adjusting. - Yeah, I was gonna say it kind of feels like the layup here, but obviously, Dejan Stribling, 49er wide receiver, one of the last remaining living participants on the team after the attack of the substation. But Dejan, I mean, this is a unique situation where he was drafted above where people expected him to go. There are opinions out there and general managers that believed he was one of the best wide receivers in the draft. At least one. But it's a team that has historically taken some shots at guys and TBD on Kaelin Black and company, but taking shots on guys a little bit ahead of where people have expected them to go and not necessarily seen it come to fruition. But here we are. You almost look at the pre-season performance of Stribling through two lenses, right? One, everything's been on display and it's been super impressive. You see the elite ball tracking. You see the acceleration. You see that vertical speed. You see the fact that he's got the big catch radius and he's a yak guy. All the stuff that you hope for, you've seen it. But then for fantasy, you're like, just like keep it quiet. Like keep it quiet for a couple more weeks. Like Karnel Tate, you're doing a great job. Karnel Tate, you're doing a wonderful job. Keep in your ADP low. But ultimately, I mean, look, we don't catch up fast enough on some of these guys. Every other practice, Mike Evans, unsurprisingly going out, no pier saw, Christian Kirk's heard. You've got Kettle coming back from the Achilles. I mean, these are not hard arguments to make. But right now, it looks like an offense that we've trusted historically year after year after year with a big body talented wider server that's checked every box in the pre-season. That's sitting there at a huge discount just because they don't have the notoriety of, you know, a Karnel Tate or Jordan Tyson. So to me, this is just one of those easy picks. I wouldn't presume, I'd say, that people take him in association with the ADP that they're seeing printed up on the Yahoo boards. So if you want him, you may have to spend more than you think. But I still think he's at a place where you can pull the trigger and end up with a wider server one on this team. - Yeah, I'm, listen, we've talked about Stribbling so much on the show. I don't even know if they're gonna take it. - I'm sorry, I'm sorry. - No, listen, it's good. - Are you different opinions? - I haven't heard yours. Are you two thumbs up, two thumbs down. What were you on Stribbling? You say you've talked a lot about him. - So I've made this reference that the most, the highest viewed video in not this YouTube channel. My personal YouTube channel's history is Dachon Stribbling is my favorite day two sleeper-wide receiver, which went like mega viral because they took him so early. So shout out to the 49ers for that one 'cause we put that up like probably a week before the draft where I was like, no, this guy's gonna get taken on day two and he's well worth being taken on day two. He got taken with the first pick on day two, which, you know, am I not a done that, but at the same time, I thought he was a rock solid kind of second round pick receiver with a lot of inside, outside versatility. And you've seen a lot of the traits so far. You're talking to this Andy, like great hands. He's such an obvious coaches pet receiver. He blocks, he makes plays with the ball in his hands. So I know the college production isn't there and this is like the college profile probably doesn't check all the boxes, but I think this is a guy that is going to be a good NFL player. The long term ceiling maybe has a question, but right now for fantasy football this year, this is a guy that I don't really care about that long term ceiling. I think he will be used and get some burn with this 49ers offense. - Do we remember like how difficult it was for like Brandon and I, you can Dante Pettis to allow Kyle Shane to be satisfied with the work that they're doing? So that led to your coaches pet point. I mean, we would hear that all the time. We get, you know, come on step up, step up block, do something, do something right, get on the field and it's just been all roses for stripping maybe because they have no one left, but hopefully because of the talent. - Yeah, Andy, when I stopped doing perception perception for you guys and started my own website, that year 2021, one of my biggest flag plants was, Brandon and I, he was going to be a great pro receiver. And that was the year he started off in the dog house. So, yeah, if anybody remembers, I was like, oh boy, this business is going to be pretty short lived. I do remember how tough it was for Brandon and I, you to get on the football field. So pretty encouraging stuff we know. - That makes sense because it's crazy. We didn't know that then, but now it's like now we know. - I see why Shane and Han did not like him. - Oh man, like I said, - Stribbling blocks everything, every scouted before like Dame Brugler wrote this up. Son of a military family, blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, I think we know why Stribbling is going to get a lot of burn for this team here this year. Mike, your third ADP that needs to be adjusted, who do we got here? - Oh man, Mike's playing the hits today for you. - He's playing the hits. - He wanted the good stuff. It's JK Dobbins of the Denver Broncos. This is going to be number one, like I like to start at the team level. They're going to be great. Like this is just overall, this is going to be a team that wins a ton of games and then it's Sean Payton. It should be a very strong offense. And you know, so looking at what happened last year, Harvey goes unexpectedly in the second round. And so us fantasy nerds are like, well, it's going to be Harvey, I suppose. And then the beat reporters are saying, no, no, no, no. Dobbins is going to be, like I hope he's going to be the starter in the primary running back for this team. Well, but Harvey in the second round, then JK Dobbins comes out, he is the guy. And he was tremendous for fantasy football. We're not saying JK Dobbins is a top 10 running back by any means, but I mean, just a string of double digit point performances for fantasy or for a player that was drafted extremely. And yet now he barely moves up into the middle rounds. I know. Now, if you want to talk about a player getting hurt, yes, you can, we don't like to call players injury prone. JK Dobbins body doesn't really like to play football as much as he likes to play football. Call them JK one leg. Yeah, yeah, there was that when you had the year, I think with the chargers where he basically, when he's running, you're like, he's got one strong leg and one week leg. But like for a career, JK Dobbins has a 5.2 yards per attempt over his career. Like this is a good running back that has just really gotten the worst possible hand when it comes to injuries, you know, last year to not, yards of per attempt isn't everything. But he's at five, right? He's at five last year. He goes out with injury. RJ Harvie comes in and RJ Harvie is on his sub four. Behind this, this is the same team. One player is having a ton of success. The other one is not. And then before you know it, Bonix is leading the NFL in pass attempts. It was because RJ Harvie could not get it done on the ground. Harvie will work into passing down's work, of course. But we talk about on the footballers like, you're like, oh, I want the third down running back. The vast, the overwhelming majority of fantasy points are scored in first and second down by the running back position. Yes, it's a nice, we love when they play all three downs so they never come off the field and you can get those cheat check downs and things. But that's not, it's not where you cast your lot. And so for me, Dobbins on a team that projects to win a ton, I think that Jonah Coleman is honestly the biggest hurdle in the way of Coleman, you know, coming into this year's draft. Coleman was my RB two. He ends up going in the fourth round, which we know that betting our fourth round, running back isn't the best. Things might be shaking up here a little bit though as we're moving into the modern NFL and I'd have to adapt. But I think that this is Dobbins job. He's going to have a whole bunch of touchdowns. Yeah, he's not going to catch a bunch of passes, but you're not drafting him to be a top five running back. You're drafting him to be like a running back three. And I think he easily slots in to be a running back two. I've kind of said the whole off season. JK Dobbins is the free running back square that's just been sitting there. Like if you mess up in the first rounds or you're a wide receiver, one Z position constructor, right there. JK Dobbins can give you tons of running back production. Until he's probably hurt. Yes, that is seems like an inevitability, but he promised. He promised that he's going to play. He's going to have to have that. Yeah, pinky, pinky's up. Picking promise. Be careful. If I've just, when Dobbins is on the field, he's a great player. And as of right now, he will be on the field. Yeah, and listen, if your 93rd overall pick gets hurt, after the first month and a half of the season, that's why there's a way everywhere, okay? All right, go pick yourself up, someone and start. Go get Colman. Because then Colman will be awesome. Yeah, go get Jonah Coleman. Yeah, that would be awesome. It'd be great if you could work that out perfectly here. Listen, if we're high on the Broncos offense, Jason transitions perfectly to your third ADP, and he needs to be a little higher here. Yeah, I mean, Jonah Coleman was my number two running back as well. They add that to a good core. And then you add Jalen Waddle, a player that was so desperately needed for this team last year. I think this offense will be good. In which case, Bo Nix, the quarterback who's going to benefit from the entire offense being better, is being so weirdly under drafted. I think people were upset with some specific performance last. year maybe people are afraid of the ankle surgery looked really good this last weekend didn't seem like the ankle was bothering connected to Jalen Waddle. This is a player who in his two years he came into the league as a rookie was the quarterback seven. Then last year was the quarterback six. Then they had Jalen Waddle and they're like, "Yeah, let's draft him as like quarterback 14." What do you think? Ninth round? Somewhere around that. It's just like, this is a guy who can rush for 400 yards. He literally led the league in passing attempts last year, has a good offensive minded head coach. The weapons are there. Although I did notice on your graphic of potential offense for the Broncos, Mike would be so mad. You had no Pat Bryant out there. Excuse me? I did not see it. I was not the graphic guy. Yeah. No, I'm just saying. You got to throw that back. You got to throw that back up. Throw that graphic up. We got to see this. That's, I mean, it's my boy's Troy Franklin, who I love. We got Franklin up there. No. Let's see. There he is. Troy Franklin. My dude. I mean, I love Troy Franklin. But Pat Bryant has been getting all the amazing accolades this off season. I think he's good. Everything is coming up roses right now for the Broncos offense and Bonix is just completely unwanted in fantasy. This is a great point. It kind of goes back to what Scott and I were talking about yesterday where, and it's a little intellectual honesty, look yourself in the mirror here a moment for me. We're sitting here saying like, oh, all those Packers receivers. I want to draft them. I want to draft Tucker Graph. They might play more with more pace. They might throw the ball more, and yet no one wants to draft Jordan Love. And I've been sitting here all off season being like Jalen Waddle is one of my biggest flag plant players at the wide receiver position. I think obviously his ADP has gone up a little bit, but at the beginning of the off season, I was like, this is the most misprice player in all the fantasy football period. End of story. And yet, I don't want to draft the guy who's going to be, you know, delivering the football to him. Yeah. Probably do. I agree with you here. Uh, Bonix, certainly. It's a great point, too. It's like, yeah, QB6, QB7. Let's give him a great playmaker that fits a perfect need. And yeah, let's take him to QB12. It doesn't make any sense here. So yeah, I do think Bonix is a great late. It's a great year to go late round quarterback in general. Oh, it is. It is. It is. So or something beyond this, you know, I, I, I dare you, I know, I know that it's a great year for lay round quarterback. You're going to Kyler first. You're going to name it like Trevor Lauren. Well, I would have gone with Jackson Dart, but you also don't love Dart, but there are, there are quite a few options. I could go even lower Malik Willis than I get. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Intentionally agreement. I'm interested. I mean, hey, who is interested in the little Malik Willis in the, you know, 15th round or something like that? Right. All right. All right. We're back. Our final four ADPs that the fantasy footballers say you knuckleheads that are drafting on Yahoo right now are letting them go way too low. It's time to get your act right. Andy Holloway. Who's your third player here? Well, look, I'll make it quick, but this is a situation that drags the player. Yes. I'm going to go Ramondrae Stevenson drafted as the RB 31 right now, finishes the RB 25, but in points per game last year was the RB 17 and everybody wants the flashy sexy Travion Henderson, all indications, Boston sports journal, Boston Globe, not even a discussion from Ramondrae's better at everything. We've got an injury now to Travion. We all want Travion to succeed, but it's going to be Ramondrae this year. And it's a tough pill to swallow, but it's a good discount in fantasy. Yeah. Listen, I'm with you on this one. Honestly, I've been saying since the Super Bowl ended, I was like, I'm not going to be able to get out of my head when we're drafting fantasy teams that when this team was in nut cutting time, trying to win the biggest game of them all. They shelved Travion Henderson and just played Ramondrae Stevenson and you know what? We're here on August 24th, and my opinion has changed 0% on that one. So I'm with you 78th overall ADP on Ramondrae Stevenson definitely looks like a nice value right now. Mike right. Taking us back to the wide receiver position, who is your fourth and final player that these knuckleheads need to be drafting higher? We're going with Zay flowers, am I good sir, number one, very, very good at the football. The touchdowns have definitely been down, like they're lower than we really want from a true number one wide receiver. But the, you know, those things fluctuate, targets matter and the target share for Zay flowers has gone up every year 24 to 25 to last year's 29% target share. He is an absolute stud. The Baltimore Ravens agreed and then they backed up the Brink's truck and gave him all the gold Boolean and he's going to be their guy. I'm excited for the new offense of, like, the targets are still going to be there, but now that you have a change of offense, I think there's a chance that we're, we see maybe eight or more touchdowns from Zay flowers. And if he's scoring eight while putting up the yardage that he put up last like 1200 with on 80 sick receptions, you just bump up those, the touchdowns just a little bit. He becomes an elite player that's going outside of the top 12 wide receivers, despite having a top 12 wide receiver target share. Yeah, listen, Zay flower is a big flag plant player for me this year as well. He's the guy that we talked about a lot about in the off season that didn't talk as much now that we've gotten into preseason time, but since a flower is under the league 2023, 90th percentile success rate in zone coverage, 98th percentile in 2024 and 91st percentile this past year while also taking a big jump against press coverage, I'm not going to say he's going to be deployed like around the goal line as, you know, I'm on Ross St. Brown has been, but I mean, Declan Doyle coming from Ben Johnson's tree, like we've seen it with a guy who doesn't fit the prototype wide receiver one size, I mean, obviously Z flower is smaller than St. Brown, but still if we get eight to 10 touchdowns season out of Zay flowers, you're going to be very happy that you took him at the 33rd overall pick. So yeah, he's someone that fits into that tier two receiver group for me here, Mike, I'm going to rubber stamp that one as well. Jason, let's talk about a player that everybody is just fired up to draft right now. Oh, man, this is the fourth and don't fire it up to draft. You're talking about on average draft position, you're tied in 22, baby. Oh, well, so this can't get a lot of drafted player. Yeah, I mean, it doesn't matter. He could be 28, 38. It doesn't matter. He's undrafted. Um, here's what I believe about the tight end position. If you don't get one of the absolute tip top players, I like punting the position. And my point here is that this is a guy, you don't even have to draft a tight end, grab them off of waivers if you want. He scored 0.7 points different per game than Travis Kelsey, who was the tight end three last year. Like the tight end position doesn't really matter. He had eight games where he was a top 10 player and you're starting the season with, you know, unfortunately, Jordan Tyson down to the hamstring injury. I think you will definitely not see him for a while. All the camp report has been the juan Johnson is just in a mind meld with with shock. He's, he's the number two target. So I feel like getting off to a start of the season, you can plug him in even if you don't draft a tight end. You don't have to be so fearful because I, I think the worst picks right now in fantasy are those middle round tight ends where you're wasting a sixth, seventh, eighth round pick, where there are running next to white receivers that are good there. And those, those tight ends, they might be better than juan Johnson, but like maybe less on how much it's, it's, it's an irrelevant shot to take. So I, I like highlighting some of these undrafted tight ends that are, that are good enough. Yeah. I mean, when you're sheep league made or just like, well, I've heard of Mark Andrews before. I've heard of Dallas, Goddard before because I've been drafting them for the last decade at the tight end position, like just take juan Johnson instead because he's probably going to outscore those guys based on Tyson injury real quick before we get to the final name. We're getting to hear just because you mentioned this Jason, like, what are you doing with Jordan Tyson at this point? Is he a guy that people should even consider drafting or is the timeline too mysterious? If you've got an IR spot in your league, then I would be, I'd be willing to take him in the late rounds. I, I believe that he is an exceptionally talented player who's my wide receiver one personally coming. I think all three of our wide receiver ones coming out of this year's draft. When he gets on the field, he will be special. So it's, it's worth a stash if you have an IR spot. If not, then that might just be too hard because I think you're going to be at least a month without him. Yeah. Listen, if you don't have the IR spot, just pay attention to the news, okay? And pick him up off waiver wires. I think it's the right way to do it. Andy Holloway, fourth and final player for you that needs to be going higher in Yahoo leagues is who what are we doing with Chris Godwin? Huh? What are we doing? Just letting Chris Godwin sit out there as old busted look, a mecca, Buka has to take a step forward. We expect it to happen. But with no Mike Evans with the Baker Mayfield relationship with Godwin, I think you just came out and it was just on a radio show the other day talking about the fact that there it is. It looks like the best version of Chris Godwin being back in the system is going to help him be successful in spots he does things really well in. I think that that, you know, when he steps back to pass, Godwin is one of those top targets that people are ignoring because of the excitement of a Buka. It's not too dissimilar. to the Ramandra situation and the fact that you get a massive discount on a guy that is kind of the bin there done that. He's not the same Godwin that he used to be. But we're talking about, you know, full PPR leagues around the goal line. I still think he's going to be involved and he's, you know, really cheap. Can you kind of convince me to not be worried about the fact that I thought the film was really rough on Chris Godwin last year coming back from the injury? And you guys know that this is one of my like all-time, no reception, perception guys. Like this is one. I mean, I linked to the piece I wrote for you guys when I wrote up his profile for my site this weekend. So what do we do about the fact like does does the cheese get unbad here at 30 years old for Chris Godwin? Cheese gets better with these brother. Yeah, cheese is not the top. I don't think so. I don't know. No, I wouldn't expect the same Chris Godwin from years ago. But I'd say that we have the evidence that it took Godwin when he had his first major injury. It took him longer than we hoped and expected to get back to a reasonable form. And so far all indications are that, you know, the time has gone by. He has had a great training camp. He has got the report going, you know, do we expect McMillan and Hurston test Johnson to, you know, be top targets in the softens? I think that's a hard thing to ask of them to be consistent for fantasy. So beyond Ibuka, to me, it's still Godwin and you're just looking for more of the what we got out of like, you know, digs last year in New England. You're not talking about a wide receiver too for your team necessarily. But somebody that you can go put in the flex that you know is going to be on the field for a ton of downs. And that's always going to be a threat for a touchdown with Baker. So that's kind of the way I look at it. Yeah, the argument for the film being bad last year is that he was coming off that injury. That's the injury is all of it. And what you'd expect if that was the case is that you'd be hearing crazy reports about the explosiveness being back. And that's what we're hearing. So obviously, it's hard at 30 to to assume he's, you know, going to get more explosive. But if he's coming off of that injury, that's that's the excuse making for the bad charting. I'm sure you did. Yes. He did terrible charting charting. You charted so poorly. Well, it wasn't, listen, it wasn't great for Godwin. I'll say that. And yet, because 97th overall ADP, I'm still like four spots ahead of that from an overall standpoint. So you'd actually donate this is one of the situations where it's like, you know what, you saw a lot of red on that chart there. If he was going at the 79th overall spot, the 60th, that'd be a different question. There, we just need to see a slightly better version of this. And at 97 overall, it's still a nasty chart, though, Harmon. That chart, that chart doesn't factor in Baker being hurt. You're stupid charts. You think that you think that brought me any pleasure to put out on my website? Yeah, it did. So do you think he's done? Is that where you're laying? Do you think he's cooked? No, I don't think he's done. But I think it's probably about 95% likely that we've seen the best days from Chris Godwin. But that might, yeah, I think that's the deal there. But you made, you made the allusion to like a step on dig season. I think he could give a keen an Allen season. There you go. Some last year with the chargers to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, you know, 80 catches leading receiver. Yeah, by the way, yeah, 80 catches 700 to 800 yards. And at 97 overall, that makes him a really good pick. Because this is still going to be an excellent Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense. So yeah, I'm pretty fine just kind of saying that happened for Chris Godwin last year. And he's probably going to be a little bit better this year. And that's all you really need at 97 overall. So, you know, I don't want to, I don't want to see Anyla. He has 80 catches this year. Look at the stupid chart. All right. I'm telling you. Don't worry about it. That's why you read the words. But, you know, hop in in for this segment because he's been doing a lot of work. Okay. This guy, Justin Boone, has been doing a ton of work for the eye who product, including you just wrote a piece about league winners. So, Boone, welcome to show. Appreciate it. League winners. No pressure. Yeah. Yeah. Just a little tricky to try to sort through, right? And a weird spot for me to be in today. I'm used to being the starting pitcher. I'm coming in as the closer right now. So, I got to bring the heat here, Harmon. And these seven guys we're going to talk about. I think they are pretty, they're pretty fine. We're going to have good seasons and maybe even career years from all of them. I definitely think we are in line for some pretty excellent performances here with the guys you got. Before we jump into the specific players, though, do you actually have a definition of what constitutes a quote league winner? Because, you know, this is a constant, frankly, nauseating discussion on social media. But like for these players here, you know, you're not looking at this guy's going to be that random running back. You pick up off the wave wire and it's the league winner of the season. These are players that are actually being drafted. So, when you think of the term league winner, what comes to mind for you? It's players who are going to carry your team to a championship. It's not necessarily guys that are going to break out. Though there might be some breakouts on there. It's not necessarily sleepers that are going to come out of nowhere and leads you to a title. It's guys that I think are very strong picks. And also, spoiler, it's the guys that I'm trying to get on all my teams, right? These are the players that I find myself drafting all the time. And then I'm trying to build like the core of my teams around. And every year when I do it, it's always seven players. It's one quarterback, two running backs. There's three receivers and then a tight end. And I try to do it in a way where you could almost draft all of these guys on the same team. It's tough in the first round because you're kind of locked into a certain area. But you can almost get all of these players on the same team and build it that way. But if not, I recommend just trying to get as many of them as you can. All right. So let's get into it here. And we'll start with the quarterback if we're putting together the league winners of 2026, the roster for Justin Boone. Who's our quarterback here? Well, when the off season started, this guy we knew was probably going to lose his star receiver. He was coming off a very disappointing campaign. And you wouldn't think that in the summer, I'd be talking about this guy as somebody that I'm drafting so much, but it's Jalen Hertz. And I think he is set up so well right now. I'm writing off like there's, you know, the sources coming out of joint practices at the Patriots saying, oh, he's throwing interceptions and the offense looks terrible. Well, yeah, the offense isn't going to look great right now. They don't have their receivers. They didn't have to want to Smith. He practiced, but he wasn't out there in the team drills going against each other. And McCoy lemon their first round pick. He's still working his way back. And we think he's going to be fine for the start of the year. So we're going to see this offense hit week one. They're going to have a couple weeks right now to get it all sorted. And they get that very easy start that we talked about. Harmon, you go back to those at last week's episode. We were going over schedules. And they start off with the commanders. They start off with the Titans and they start off with a banged up bears secondary. That's basically like going to be an extended preseason for them, right? They're going to have a chance to have these receivers in there. You know, work out some of the issues and some of the wrinkles and really get things going the rest of the way. When oh, by the way, Jalen hurts as the easiest fantasy quarterback schedule for the whole season. And this is a guy who's been so good for fantasy like QB eight last year. And that was the down season. But you look back to the last five years, QB six, QB two, QB one. He showed us that he can be that number one overall quarterback in fantasy. And then the year before that, QB seven. And we've talked all off season long about the things that are different that could really help them rebound this year, right? The offensive coordinator change going from Kevin Petulo to Sean Manion. I think that's going to be such a massive upgrade in the way that this offense kind of modernizes starts use motion a little more starts to do some like things that most offenses are doing. And last year, it just got so stagnant. The players were unhappy. This is going to be a breath of fresh air for them. We also are going to see him hopefully have a little more time to work with in the pocket because the offensive line was banged up all last year. We know when they're healthy, this is one of the best lines in the league, right? Nate Tyson, our buddy, he had them ranked as a top five unit when he did his offensive line article recently, Brandon Thorn of established a run. He does great work on offensive lines. He's got them as the second best set of blockers. So the key is just can they stay healthy? Can we avoid some of those injuries like when Lane Johnson goes down? There is very different splits for this offense when he's not out there versus when he is, so let's hope we can get some better health there. And man, I think you look at the weapons. And yes, AJ Brown is gone, but Devonta Smith was always this overqualified number two receiver. So he's going to step into that number one role. We're here. Great things about on TV and Wix. I have a lot of belief in McKay Lemon. I think he's going to have a good season. And we haven't gotten the hype about him because he's dealt with injuries going back to OTAs. And for most of training camp here, but eventually he's going to get out there and show what he can do. And this guy is a really, really strong player. But the main thing here, Harmon, is even in the down year last year, right? Jalen Hertz, the receiver, the passing stats weren't as great. The rushing stats were down. They weren't giving him as many designed runs. But guess what? Sean Manion, he's like, no, no, we're getting back to that. We're going to run the ball with him. We're going to keep the touch push. He also clarified the touch push. He's not going anywhere. And if you just take the down year that he had rushing, keep the passing stats the same, the down year that he had rushing, 421 rushing yards and eight TDs. Prior to that, he had four straight campaigns where he had over 600 rushing yards and at least 10 rushing touchdowns. So last year, if we just bumped up that 421 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns to the low end of what he was doing, those four years prior, just give him 600 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns. That would have made him the QB three last year behind Josh Allen and behind Drake May. So why can't he do that again, Harmon? There are so many reasons why I think Jalen Hertz is going to get back to being a really, really big difference maker in fantasy. I like it. He goes in a great area. I'm in line with that ADP for him. And I really believe like if Sean Manion has the goods, Boone, and I feel pretty good about where Manion is, like this offense is going to be better for everybody involved, especially once they figure it all out. Right? Like, and this is one of their early season schedule points that I really love from you because it's when they're going to need and a good early season schedule because I think they will be sort of figuring things out like the receivers getting back up to form and everything. But yeah, I mean, it's such a good point. That practice clip that went viral of Jalen Hertz, where Queen Young Mitchell picked him off and people freaking out about like, how could the team post this? I'm like, well, you idiots know that the guy who intercepted the pass who made the highlight does also play for the Philadelphia Eagles two. Number one, and number two, so you know, you don't want to highlight. You want to highlight other players. Me on this accord. Okay. Okay. Number two, the receiver targeted on that is like Hollywood Brown. I'm like Hollywood Brown is supposed to be like one of the top three receivers on this team. And you can make an argument. I know it's hard to angle, but like that he flattened the route off in a weird way that led to Hertz throwing an reception. I don't mind at all that we've seen some up and down offseason reports here from the passing game because of those receiver injuries that you mentioned. Yeah. And also, I feel like I say this all the time, don't overreact to interceptions or poorly thrown passes in practice, right? Don't worry about that stuff. That's when they're trying different things. This is a new offense. They're trying to figure it out, right? So yes, there's going to be some bumps along the way. I remember what wasn't their year were like Patrick Mahomes through like five interceptions in practice and people were like freaking out about it. It was like relax. Now, if it's cam ward and we're seeing it over and over and we haven't seen him do it in real life. Okay. Maybe that's a little more concerning because you want to see a little bit of a positive drum beat on some younger players that are trying to prove themselves. But even he's a guy who's in a new offense trying to learn. So let's relax on some of the overreactions that we have to practice. Well, we're going to get there. We're going to get real football pretty soon. And then we can adapt and figure things out on the fly. All right, Boone, give me your first warning back here that's a league winner. So this is a first round pick. And again, this kind of, you know, depends where you're picking in the first round. If you're picking first overall, you're not going to take this guy. This is more a middle of the first round pick. It's Jonathan Taylor. And he's somebody else that I've talked about on the show and my love for him. And why I'm one of the people who doesn't have Christian McAfry over him. I just, I can't, McAfry scares me so much this year, Harmon, like the 450 touches last year, the age, all of it. It just really, really scares me. And if you think back to last year, Taylor was actually out producing McAfry. If you look at what he was doing when Daniel Jones was out there the first 13 weeks of the season, it was Taylor who was averaging 23 fantasy points per game. And he was the number one scoring back. Yes, there could be some regression in terms of touchdowns. He was having like games rescoring three touchdowns. That's going to be a little bit tough to do, of course. But when this offense was humming, and it will have a chance to get back to some version of that with Daniel Jones out there and not the corpse of Philip Rivers and not Riley Leonard and those guys that were basically just placeholders. You're going to get Daniel Jones out there might not be 100% Daniel Jones, but it's going to be Daniel Jones. It will elevate this offense back. Maybe not to the number one amazing unit that they were when he was out there early last season. But again, it's going to be much better. And they're going to rely on Jonathan Taylor. This is another team with a very good offensive line. They're very strong going back to our guys, Tyson and Brandon Thorna at ETR. Both of them had the colts line inside the top 10. So that's a positive and could we see him actually maybe get a little more work in the receiving game? Last year, he stepped up yet 46 catches last year. Now you take Michael Pittman out of the picture. Alex Pierce, obviously, we don't know when he's going to be back to full health. He's coming back from the ankle issue. I think we could really see them have to lean on JT a little more through the air. And why not? This guy is phenomenal. Another easy schedule situation. Seventh easier schedule among running backs this year. So there's a lot of reasons here where I think we should be excited about taking Jonathan Taylor. And one of the main ones is I think his passing numbers might be a little bit better than people realize. I think people look at him and kind of associate him with like the Derek Henry type where he doesn't do that much in the passing game. Well, he might have to. And last year, he showed, I think he's capable of that. Yeah, listen, you get a mid-first front pick this year. I love taking Jonathan Taylor. I was in a draft. It was a full PPR draft. So I hit the fourth overall pick. I was really tempted to take him because Christian McCaffrey went ahead. I was really tempted to take him ahead of Pukka Nakua, but ultimately went with Nakua. But the fact that I even thought about it is just a really good sign for where Jonathan Taylor is right now. Real quick here, your next running back is Kenneth Walker. We don't have to go too long on this one because we had a pretty robust conversation about Kenneth Walker earlier in the show with Mike Wright. But give us the quick pitch on Kenneth Walker. Well, this one, this should tell people how much that I actually like Walker this year. Because when I went to write this article, I looked at last year's article and guess who was the second running back? I'm sure I recommended in that article, right? It was kind of tough. I'll do it again, baby. I hesitated. I sat there and I deliberated like, I can't. I can't put him in here again after what happened last year. But it was like a tale of two seasons, right? I felt like in the end, I was weirdly vindicated in terms of talent and what he could do on the field. It just didn't help anyone's fantasy teams. It didn't help people in a fantasy title. So that part of it was awful. But remember, he started the season strong last year. You know, he was top 10 in terms of fantasy running backs, two of the first three weeks. And then he finishes incredibly, right? The last six games, including the playoffs, 128 and a half scrimmage yards per game. Just was phenomenal. Goes on, ends up winning the Super Bowl MVP. We know he can do it. And now he's going to a team in the chiefs that brought him over really to be that guy. They're going to give him a chance to be the workhorse. They're going to give him a chance to catch passes. And he's not that old man. He's 25. He's going to turn 26 during the season. We know what a game breaker he could be. Third and explosive run rate last year. I can't wait to see what he's going to do in Kansas City. And there is still a part of me that's a little bit worried that by putting him in this column, Harmon, and by talking about him here, that I'm somehow going to run it again and something bad is going to happen and injure something knock on all of the wood. Let's hope that he's going to be healthy. And let's hope this is the massive year that we've been expecting from him. Uh, I'm with you on this one. So I am very much hoping that you are right here in 2026 that he is that league winner. Your next guy is Devonte Smith. I'm going to skip past him because you talk Jaylen Hertz. You already mentioned it. Like he's an overqualified wide receiver to for a long time. If you want to get more analysis on it, we are reading again in 2026 people. So you can go to the website and check out Boone's article on Devonte Smith and all of these guys. But let's get to Jaylen Waddle here. Again, I feel like we've been beaten this drum for a long, long time, Justin Boone, but tell the people why Jaylen Waddle is indeed going to be one of those league winners. I don't know if we've like properly given you enough praise for I remember the show when we were talking about Waddle and I was saying that I like him. And then you told me you had him ranked in like some wild spot, like wide receiver 12 or something overall. And I was taken back. I was like, I thought I was high on him. And you were way higher than I was on him. And it made me go back and look again. And I was like, yeah, Harman's right. Like there is something here. This is a great scenario. Everything's lining up for him. And Harman, I want to give you props because shortly after that, I wasn't the only one in the industry that started talking about him more that moved him up my rankings. So apparently people listen to you when you're talking about receivers and who can have a big year? Who thought Harman? Who would have thought? Listen, listen, listen. Before we say like, let's give you the praise or credit for this. Let's see how the season plays out. Let's see if I'm actually correct about what's going to happen for Jalen Waddle. But yeah, I think we all agree. I mean, when we did the episode on, you know, who's going to be this year's George Pickens Jalen Waddle was our pick there. And yeah, I mean, I've been high. on him ever since the Broncos trade and we talk so many reasons why, right? It's just he's going to fill this really critical role. I'm, you saw the catch in the preseason where it was the exact usage that I've been painting here, Boone, where it's out, you know, off the ball, moving around pre-snap, vertical route from the slot. I think, I think we're all in agreement. Like, Joe and the Lotto is going to absolutely cook this year. I mean, you get him every time I'm on the board and he's, and he's on the, every time I'm on the clock and he's on the board in the fourth round, he's the guy I'm picking there almost with no hesitation. I have him ranked as a third round pick and I have to kind of like figure out where to take him, right? I know. Of course you do. You try to do the game with yourself. Yeah. Yeah. You're giving you time for moving the needle, not for being right about it, but yes, when it comes to trying to figure out where to take some of these guys, you don't want to, you don't want to jump up and overpay too much, but if you want to get him, you might have to go after him in the mid to late third or even the early fourth, even those ADPs a little bit later than that. But yes, he showed us the kind of player he could be. He's had good fantasy seasons before. And even last year, amidst like that kind of bad dolphins year, you know, he's top 12 in targets per row run, yards per row run, first downs per row run among qualified receivers. Like, he has it. We know he has it. We know the Broncos think he has it. They want him to be the number one. Everything is pointing in the right direction. There's going to be more volume there. And let's hope he could stay healthy because we had an injury scare or, you know, the preseason here. So hopefully he's going to be fine for the year. Hopefully he'll stay out there. And if he does, man, the sky is the limit. He could end up as a top 12 wide receiver one here. Speaking of wide receivers, your next guy Parker Washington Scott called him this year's Tucker craft for the pod, like basically the one that we we're all higher than consensus on like we, and it's just honestly been like, I do have some questions long term, like where's like exactly the upside for Parker Washington and everything. But he's just so easy to get in drafts, at least on Yahoo right now, even as the ADP has climbed. Yeah, he's still like in the drafts I've been in tends to go seventh round. I'm willing to take him in the sixth and you know, the times I've done it, it's another one of those where it's like, did I go to early to grab him and then you just go, no, I'm happy that I have him because if you're getting him in the sixth round, he's probably your wide receiver three. Maybe your wide receiver two, but often my wide receiver three. And he's a guy that has just a much higher ceiling than that, right? When his playing time became more consistent last year was in week seven and beyond. There was 10 games there over the next 12 weeks. He missed a game because of injury and there was also a buy in there over those 10 games, though, 14th in receiving yards, the rest of the way 15th and yards per row run, 18th and fantasy points per game. And he ended the season so strong, right? And the final seven games, five of those outings yet at least 90 yards and or a touchdown. So he showed that he can do it. There's no reason for them to put that back in the box. Travis Hunter, he is going to be playing mostly on defense. So have his moments on offense, but he is no longer in that equation as a meaningful part of that passing attack in my mind, at least not this year. Maybe that will change down the road. But right now, everything that we've heard, the beat writers are saying he's like, uncomfortable in practice that Parker Washington is the clear number one guy. Again, someone else who the injury seal has been broken. He has dealt with an injury, but it's not supposed to be anything that's going to keep him out long term. He'll be fine for week one. And man, this Jags offense, this Liam Cohen offense, we want to be a part of this. We saw how hot they got down the stretch last year. Again, very easy schedule this year. Top 10 terms of easy schedules among receivers. He's going to be able to come through with another solid year. And where you're getting him, you don't need him to be top 12. If you get him, and he gives you, you know, top 25 season, that's a huge, huge value. 75th overall on Yahoo over the last seven days, which is way up from the ADP that started in the 90s. So we have definitely moved the needle on, like actually moved the ADP on Parker Washington. So there is that your final player is tight and Tyler Warren. But once again, I'm going to tell people, go to the website, read the piece here on league winners from Justin Boone. But real quick, just give us the quick, quick pitch on Tyler Warren because we got some promos to read before we get out of here. Titan six and fantasy points per game through week 10 last year with Daniel Jones out there and then injuries hit for Daniel Jones and for Warren, he dealt with that the rest of the way. So we saw that. But even if you look at think about Tucker craft last year, why do we like him? He had the yak ability, right? Warren also brings that. There were 14 tight ends last year. So at least 75 targets. And so these are the best fantasy tight ends, obviously. And guess who led that group in yards per catch and yards or yards after the catch per catch Warren 6.5 yards per. So he has that in his bag. This is a guy that can get points a lot of ways, including out of the back field, they can deploy him that way. Somebody that I think is going to be up there with the elite names at the position by the end of the season. Love it. I absolutely love it. Boone, it's way too short of a time with you here today, but those are your league winners.
