Alright, before we start today, Jayden. Doesn't. I want you to look down the barrel of the camera right there and I want an apology for Saturday. I'd just like to say I'm sorry. Things happen, you know, I slept in. I'll be the first one to put my hand up. No, I'll let the podcast down, but I'll let the community in. You know, and I've been trying to pave my way to last few days. I'm starting to make it up for Rokin. No, you're right. I was going to wear me, Sonny's just saying, I'm sorry, but I'm taking me sonny's whole quarry worth and tenang. But now we're back, episode 12, a dozen. A dozen deep. A dozen deep? That's not going to be the name, dozen deep. Deep. It's been a bit since we've sort of had one. We've just been flat out both of us, I think. So what do you been up to anyway? It's been a flat out, bro. Like I've probably spoken this podcast for, I'll go to ballon for work of a weekend, but last weekend I did not went during the week. So I had last weekend off. So yeah, spending time with mates and family had a few beers to be honest on Friday and Saturday. And then spent some time watching the sharks play Sunday and not really want to talk about that. But other than that, yeah, just mentoring. Just pretty flat out to be honest, bro. And I got New Zealand coming up in a couple of weeks. I'll be good just to tell me phone or phone. I'll go snowboard and I'm, I hope it's good at snowboarding. Yeah, it's going to be good. No, I'll be good. And these last couple of days have been windy as of freezing. I've never seen snow either. I think we went to Barronton Topse once when I was just now on a little bit. When I was eight, I was like a little bit of Austin's side of the road. Other than that, now I haven't seen it. I don't really know what to expect. I need to go full shopping. I reckon to get some out of those. Well, that's I was been looking in the middle of our, our, our, our valley. That's go today. I reckon. I reckon it's, every time I go to Audi, I'm like, yeah, I'll just go out and assess the middle stuff. See, my, my thought process is bad with that stuff. I'm like, oh, I can't be that cold. Look, I'll pick up the beer in. It's boiling me. Yeah. I'm a top of person like if I'm cold and really cold, I just can't function like you know to me when you're that cold and you're like, yeah, it's sort of in survival mode. And you're just like, I can't even do anything. So I'll be, I'm going to get it mad just to mad jacket, but they're just freaking layers. If you, if you layer up, then you're like, it's like a shirt long sleeve jumper and then like just a mad jacket. So I'm usually right in the cold, but my new job, it's freezing. And they're like, because it's, it's an old cop shop. True. So like, or brick. Oh, and then there's this one room where all I stood, like five was a store and it's with the old cells. Right. Eat like 80s for a reason. Well, good to see you taking this, I'll land back one step at a car. Yeah, look at the cop shop. What do we got next? Yeah. Yeah, we're just taking a look at that. Yeah, should be fucking cold down there. But it's nice. What is it like, is it like, I'm the ground. No, no, just next to it. It's weird. Yeah, but it's just freezing, but the air conditioner does nothing. Yeah. But then if you don't put it on, it's even colder. Yeah. But I mean, a bit sick actually lately, just bad on a video, right? Yeah, we said that yesterday, now I think I'm maybe, I've been sick this year touch wood. Well, I didn't get the flu shot. Yeah, I didn't get. Yeah. Well, I used to and then I stopped and now I've been a bit crook, so I don't know. Yeah. I'm like, I say this all the time, but I'm always big on no cold and flu tablet or pen and I was only thinking it started the sickness, just let your body fly out and it's a guy. And pump it towards the end. So I had some cold and flu this morning, ready to drop and I'll see it. But yeah, I'm kind of just, this is my last week of freedom or my last week before I start uni. So I'm kind of just kicking back really, doing a bit of the things that I like to do, like things that I would probably classes, I don't know, like luxury or use of time, like gaming and stuff like that. Is it starting next week? Yeah, Monday, first day. First day, boy, fucking hell. Are you nervous? I'm heaps, no, it's because like I went and picked up my student ID card the other day. I probably didn't have to. I probably could have waited, but I wanted to just go over there and get my, my over the land and just get his bearings. He's just like, yeah, it's like, oh, I have dreams like pretty frequently that I'll go back to school and like on the heaps older and like everyone's maybe shang, and I'll just start wiggling out. Yeah. You'll be like, it'll be like the first day of school backpack on. I think the good thing for me is like, like I have that bit of life experience, probably over everyone. And I think that like, I'm not really the end of make friends either. I just do my own thing and whereas like there'd be a lot of people fresh out of school that like thinking like, you know, that a wig in and I'm just kind of like, or I'm at a point now where I don't really care what other people think. Yeah. I don't really care for social norms and stuff. So yeah, obviously don't pee. So like the first subject on Monday is like court striking game. So we do like netball. True. Softball, volleyball. Basketball. So you have a little boy, you know, so and then what so you do obviously theory and practice that stuff. Yeah, practice every second week where it's like you got to demonstrate the fundamental skills. True. That's alright. Break it up. Yeah. If you're a pro, just say boy, bang. Yeah. That'd be good. So I said to Raleigh, you want to look out of him doing netball at uni. I'll be coaching that netball team. Hey. Yeah. The nation's one. I can't. No, the other thing. The other thing. Oh, yeah, true. True. Guess what? I went on the weekend for the first time in about probably 10 years. Yeah. Tom's own. It's underrated. Matt. That was heck. Fucking takes him on a quick bar. Yeah. We met with Raleigh's two sisters. Right. I was like getting stuck on that punch and things. I was getting so close to the high school. I was like wanting it up too, you know. And then you do that and you're like, cuts like. I did that to someone. I'd break the skulls enough. I'm good at the basketball one, bro. Yeah. That was my. I'm good at just going bang, bang, bang. And yeah. There's this one. I'm going to the back wall and it's called. Oh, I mean, what it's called, but it's got like full rope off. You're going there. And it's like, I guess, tempered glass. I guess floor and like walls are not glass, but like whatever. Clear, like see through. And you have like everyone works as a team. You can play one to six players. And then you've got to touch all the blue squares, but you can't get touched by the red squares. So you're running around touching blue squares, dodging the red squares on the ground. And then like it gets harder and harder and harder and you have like six lives. True. And like I was getting frustrated because I'm mad like strategic brain. Yeah. Like I was coming like we were up to like level 14 and it was coming to a point where it was like. There's no red squares at all. And then you can touch blue, but then randomly like every like four or five seconds, the whole thing's red. So you got to get back to your green dots. True. So we lost like blue, burn like four lives. And I was like, guys, I've worked it out. You've only got, you've only got like four or five seconds to do it. I was like, just grab a couple and get back. Grab a couple, get back. You just can't do on that. No, I'll Riley may just stand on red squares for fun. Trying to create her own story. Yeah, but no. Session needs stuff from the bottom. Well, I love time zone. I said, well, especially with my nephews, a little bit younger, like every Christmas or birthday, they get a time zone voucher. So that means I'll be able to take them and play with them. We should do a create your story. We get 50 bucks each so you can get the most tokens. Yeah, that'll actually be mad. Oh, we know. I'm strategic in which games are played with. I know which ones get the more clean. Yeah. But it's yeah, like I said, it takes him any pretty quick. I did some mentoring with the young players. I just want to go to time zone. And then he just kept, he kept low. He tried to ignite himself on the hammer thing. I said, perhaps take him $2.50 each time you do it. Get in that tent, okay? Hey, so I just start from the bottom. That's one fifth of a rent again. It'll work your way up. Work your way up. That's it. That's it. No, but that's exciting for you, bro. I like it. Yeah, it's sort of like starting a new job, but in a bigger, in a bigger sort of way, because obviously you haven't been to school for a while. And it's just a whole different environment as well. It's like to have this feeling of like, and with that sound, I ring in like, I've dominated my industry for like the last probably five, six, seven years. Yeah. And to have this feeling of like uncomfortability and like this feeling of like, don't want to expect it out of my comfort zone. Like it's. I'm going to race in it. No, I'll be interested. I just never got a round to do it. And it was something that we spoke about before where I was like, oh, I think I was like 22 at the time. Like, oh, I finished bottom 26, but I'm like, if I did it then, I think there's no bit of time like we say than the present. So that was one thing that helped me back. So I'd be interested to get your feedback of your experiences and how it was. And just a whole dynamic of it because I know, even from probably before I was 10 years, Guy Unis changed a lot. Yeah. Yeah, I think that's the biggest thing that I'm doing. Aboriginal studies is like my secondary. So the first course is online for that. And it's called Black Australia. And I was like, I get a wide detail. I'm going to be like, no, it'd be interesting. But he's Blackfellow. It'd be interesting. Interesting. Interesting than the content. Yeah, that stuff too. Yeah. And how that's progressing. Yeah, they put a thing in there and was like, I don't think he meant it until next week. But it was like, introduce yourself, tell your story. I'm not around. I said, you do your census. He goes, what the fuck's that? And I don't ring him. And I'm like, oh, he's like, what's, what's census? And I'm like, oh, I'm excited to be like, fuck that. He goes, they're just trying to work it what I'm doing. And then he's like, what? So it's a 360 dollar fine each time I said apparently. Yeah. Like, that's what they are. I don't really agree with the whole. They just try to track me because that's a very new age that the government try to track everyone's COVID. But census is being on for years. 100. It's just that's statistics and stuff like that. Some of the questions I ask are pretty rogue. Honestly. But I was going down, I was deep diving into the questions. And I'm like, I think Ali answered one last yesterday. She's like, um, it was like who will be staying at your house and actually put more name down because I was staying there. That means you don't go to do it now. I've really done a part. Yeah, true. I don't know. I'm just, well, you wrecked up system because you only do it early if you know where you'll be staying on the limit, which is at your own house. Yeah. See, well, I did, I did man rightlys because like, if, if, everyone's staying at home, you can just do everyone in the house. Yeah. So, I'm like, oh, Riley, I'll put you down for zero hours of cleaning. Well, so far, I was working away. They're not put that address down. Um, if you were working away, you, you would have done it last night and you would have just set away from home. Oh, yeah. Yeah, mate. I don't know, 360 a day. Yeah, I say something on a community page yesterday and said, guys, um, may I please ask everyone if you're atheist and you don't have religion, can you please just put Christian in it down because they'll use the information to build more things and we don't need any more mosque or anything like that in our area. I'm like, car's relax. You need to just worry about yourself. Like, yeah, yeah, create your own story. All right. If you want to get on here and tell your story, they're probably not going to, um, you, they're going to probably not even going to use them for. No, they'll use it to what they, yeah, the, what, how suits that. I think it's more so like they update the populations where we town and everything with the census. Yeah. Well, it's like, um, and then I think for average, for Aboriginal people, it's good to know, average percentage, um, and see how that climbs. Yeah. But it's also like with anything, right? Like a data, you need data and data and percentages and stuff to back things up. It's like, if you run a program where you do this or do that, and if you don't agree with the census, then how else are they ever going to track population? That's right. And I think that only way to scare people to do it is at $360.4 each day because it's a fuck out of me. Like you need to know what the population is. And that's how you, that's how you generate money. Fuck it. Yeah. It just frustrates me, bro, because I'm like, everyone's just been scam mungered into this whole, like, government's trying to track me, like, and I'm just like, bro, like the census is not a new thing. And how do you think they sit there and go like, Gangogo, he has grown by 48%. We better get stuff out there. Yeah. And then yeah, he'll refuse to do the census. Then you'll wonder why a small town like that doesn't have anything. Or we've grown where there are high as growing some urban and hunt of alley. Well, we didn't do the census. Yeah, did you do your fucking census? Like, oh my God. But some of the questions are like, why do you got to know what we're doing? But I think they all kind of tie into each other. Like if you look at it like you're volunteered, you work full time. And then they'll look, I'll break that down a bit more and go like, now we have at 70% of mum and dad's both working full time. Whereas 15 years ago, it was only this amount. Or it's the cost of living like. Yeah. So get your census in. And relax. Can we stop with the whole like government? Not everyone's around us. Okay. But have a look at what you're posting all this information on your mobile phone. Have a look what name that phone's in. Have a look what, you know, every, they already got your info. Because they're already tracking you if they want. Right. You work at Audi at Greenwood. No one gives a fuck what you do. There are CCDV cameras in literally every single shop, every single street. You probably drive a vehicle like, yes, what registered in your name. Guess what? It's probably got a dash cam in it. It's probably got a number of paid attached to as well. You got a mobile phone in your name, maybe an Apple watch, maybe AirPods, whatever else you got. You put your name down in all these other things to try and get money. You're probably doing surveys. You're probably completing 20 surveys for 20 bucks and put your name to them. Who knows? And you're worried about a census. You're posting selfies and you're fucking work. Uniform. You probably use a lot of 360. Hey, yeah. Wait, what about the other day? I can speak about census in the first income tomorrow. I'm one of those people that come door knocking, trying to sell you something. Yeah. I come around the other day and I was like, no one ever got fresh. No one ever knocks on the door. And I was like, this young fella, I'm like, anyway, yelling up. He's like, oh yeah, talking about soul panels and shit. And I was just sort of, like, Janie, but I was and I was like getting heaps info. And we're talking for like five or ten minutes. And he goes, would you be interested? I said, I don't know. I'm just renting here. I'm like, yeah, he goes, well, this doesn't apply to you anyway. I'm like, sorry, bro. He goes, he was a good conversation, but. She said I was keen on half a cell panel on my car. Hey, fucking get a coffee machine. Yeah, I'm a good. I got a phone call one time from someone selling like wines. And I just jean him up. Yeah, it's mad. Like, no, you got anything a little bit more like a bit nicer of a drop. And like full talking for ages about it. And then we go to the part where like I had to pay for these wines I'd selected. And I was like, is it alright? Like if I'm only 17 and he was like, oh, I can't really do that. And I was like, oh, real? And she's like, yeah, I was like, I won't tell anyone. She's like, no, I can't. The old you would just. Yeah. Remember like AVE on. Remember that? Yeah, bra. Yeah. Gabbled always start up this old phrase we had in the shed and was putting stuff in there and then by fair, there's a lot of Chris go fishing that left in it. But yeah, we used to love Chris go. And if anyone remembers this place or can leave me in the right direction, I'd love to be. But as a kid, this is shame. So as a kid, we went to this joint and at the time I just thought like it was like what Costco is now, for example. And we walked in there, and there was like so much food in there and it was all like $1.50. Now, from what I know of it now was like, I think if you need help with food, you can get a voucher for this joint. And it's all like, it's all like out of date food. Yeah. But we went in there and went ham noodles, like milk, like whatever you name it, like we just got all this shit from there. It was down like Toronto somewhere. It was wild. And I used to walk around like, yeah, I wouldn't go back to that place. I was hectic. So that's like 50 cents. But yeah, I would love to know what it was called or anything like that. that's still around where you can just, I think maybe that big warehouse in mainland London. - That's a bit say, it's like a wholesaler, right? - Yeah. - And you can buy bulk. - From what I can gather, I think it was like, it wasn't open to everyone. - Yeah. - We've got people that like, struggling, I mean, we'll live in a tenant. - Hey, give us some noodles, fuck it. - Yeah. - That made me think, do you remember the Morrisett mega markets? Do you ever go down to the end of the cut? Remember those, do you remember back in those baby mollo jumpers? - Do you remember? - No, fuck, I'll try it. Oh, I didn't even know if I had a photo, but like, adds like the Morrisett mega markets, and you go down, you can buy like cheapest, fuck monster jumpers and that, you'd wear it after one time to get all those wooly, you know, those little condings. But everyone would go down there and there, it was a brand and I would have been, 'cause my brothers, my brothers had been older, so I'd try and wear what they're older boys wore. I would have been like eight, and nothing fit me, but I was, everything was oversized. But yeah, I still remember these baby mollo jumpers. People listening would remember, they were the fucking shit for a bit, I shared it baby mollo if you're listening bud. - What I was gonna talk about was just how, how rubbish TV in general is these days. Like, I've been watching the block with Riley. - Yeah. - More so just 'cause it's like, it's good to do that. And I've actually been getting into the idea, but I think I never used to watch it as a kid, but I think I don't get an older and I'm understanding how I'll see the baby more. And hopefully one day my mom in our house, but I'm really enjoying the putt, I guess, and what they're doing. But bruh, some of the AI and the music and the jokes that the producers put in there, it's just that cringey. - I think, I don't know if I watched it last year, but I've watched it previously, and I'm watching it this year, but I've just noticed how much AI is in it now. Like, you know how they do, like they break to something, and it's like, I think last time I was able to dress up as thumbnails. - But she mentioned one direction, so I started playing the music. - Yeah. - Oh. - And did you see on, was it Sunday night, how they stitched up the budget, and said they were out of the budget, 28? I was sort of off that couple at the start. - I'm still off of them. - I'm off them, but then I was thinking, fuck, that's actually pretty rogue to put them on show and say, but, - But they cheated at the stale cheat anyway, 'cause they got the fucking carpenter in their painting. - And if you, um, - It's not that big of a deal. Like, if they stood there, granted didn't come back, I would have respected them for it. - Yeah. - But you can't fold on that. You can't sit there and be like, you destroyed my character. Oh, I own my own business. So I know your own business probably isn't doing well if you also support work or in your also this and you also that. That's the first thing I picked up. I'm like, 'cause if you're a business owner and you're doing three jobs on the side, how's the business? And then when I got the budget wrong, I'm like, maybe that's why the business is struggling, but it wasn't even there for. (laughing) - But I only smack these head. - Not when they was walking in. - Yeah, I'm like, bro, you can't sit there and blow up the locks about your own character but then fold and say I'm coming back. - Yeah, no, you, no, well, like he was questioning his integrity. Yeah, it's, - But I remember as a kid, we used to come home, that would always watch five o'clock news, like only in the five o'clock news. - Yeah. - And then I'd probably tune into it about a five, 40 watch the sports section, bit of weather, six o'clock symptoms, six 30 neighbours, seven o'clock home and away. - Yeah. - Then depending on time of the year, the 730 slot was like always matchos. Do you remember hole in the wall? - Yeah, well, yeah. - Or you know, match the shapes and like, - Ha ha ha. - Big brother was a way to do it. - Big brother games was gone. - Yeah, and Friday night games. And then a minute to win it. - Yeah. - That was hectic, bro. - I'll explain that again. - Remember where it's like, they got to, they win all this money. And then they got, they, it's random games selected. - Yeah. - And they will have to do these things. It's like you got a minute to win it. - Oh, yeah. - You've got to like, one of the games was like, bats, they'd be like four tables set up, bats and ping pong balls, four four and get it in, they've got to get three in. - Yeah. - But I just remember how hectic, like the noises were like when the time ran out or when they got it and then they kept going and stuff. Like that was hectic. - Ninja Warrior. - Ninja Warrior. - Warp out. - Warp out. - Warp out. - Nah. Oh yeah, I agree. - Oh man. - They were all mad shows. And nowadays you got like block the voice. - Yeah. - They're just not good. - Nah. - But I think like Netflix and stuff is just taking over. Like he's like, you can watch whatever you want at any time. - Well, I think that's really, it takes the experience out of a lot of things, but like you said, you'd be like, oh yeah, right, I can't make, do your stuff when you got seven, 30. But now kids can like, oh no, what's this? - Bang. - That's what, no one knows. - I used to program the old school, like I'll, like the other day, my quick quick, we got to put it on 7.30. And when I was like, if we missed first half now, we'll just watch it on the app from start. And I was like, oh, it's not the same. But we got this like mad smart TV. I don't even know what it is, him something. But bro, they've got all these wild channels that are like not, it's not Fox, I don't pay for Fox, but you got your normal channels. And then there's like a 24/7 wipeout channel. - Yeah, right. - It's all these old episodes. - True. - Like a sport channel, like there's all the, like there's a highway patrol channel that plays all highway patrol, crime scene investigation. Like it's weird, on demand. - Highway patrol is good boy. - Yeah, they used to have a highway patrol and the force would be on straight after it. - Yeah. - And all the security. - Like just stuff like that, bro. It was just way better. - Always wondered on highway patrol, like 'cause some of the people that get interviewed or some of the people get filmed, some like fuck bath holes, I would not allow that to go on air. Dricks, they'd have a choice, hey. They'd have to, wouldn't they? - Like you look as. - They must be 'cause some of them are blood out. - Yeah, but yeah, I think I'm not a must be. - I think I'm not a must be. - Some of them must be that dumb, then if they're like, yeah, put that out. - They probably give permission before it happens though. - Yeah. Like the Simpsons would be like the 24-hour marathon. You just could watch them all. - It was always mad growing up as a kid, because we would play Fuddy at like nine or 10 o'clock. I'd get up at seven, but I'd boom Saturday Disney. - Yeah. - It wouldn't have Fuddy would get to watch like top 40 count down. And if you didn't, and that was like music, 41. - Yeah. - You didn't know what the top songs were. Like maybe the radio. - You remember Rage? Did you ever watch that too? - Yeah. - Fuckin' bring it back. - Like mortified. - Mortified gun. - Blue one higher. - H2O just had water. - Aye. - Mm-hmm. - But yeah. Nah, she's all changed now. The block is the first thing that I've watched in a while. Or if there's like something interesting that I wanna watch on like 60 minutes or a counterfein, then I'll put it on. - I don't mind them, eh? - Sometimes there's some good like, like crime investigations on 60 minutes or like. - I liked them, yet like the shows that they'll do where it's like, what was I watching in a couple months ago? Like events that change the nation or something like that. - So you're all regularly going YouTube and they'll be like the episodes from that, and I'll just watch that just for something to do. But if you sit there and let that just sit with you and eat your lie, which it would do to me would just sort of spoil me out. So I think being able to just speak how I feel and have that one chance, whether they accept the apology or what, I feel like I just need to speak my mind and speak the truth, whether I'm in the right or wrong. Even if I'm on in the wrong, I'd like to have that chance to be able to apologize. And like I said sitting there, what I'm knowing, trying to work out the what if, or what if I didn't do that, what if I think I probably care more about, is in the burden of hurting someone than rejection.
