Toinen aihe on Broadway-musikaaliin sijoittaminen.

Literally I'm the worst with names. He's crazy. I'm the worst. I ran into Emily. She showed up at Vantage, creating union. And then I had to like stare into her. And then she confronted you when she passed it up. She's like, "I'm the person who called the wrong name." And I'm like, "Which one?" I literally had to say that. And then you die, Ria. Because I don't remember. I didn't tell her about it. She said she saw it. And then she said she saw a video of us posting it. Which is like. Like you don't usually see someone that we post a video about of the interaction. True. And then have to be like face to face with them. And then I got to meet her kids. Did you fuck up their names? And I got their names wrong on the Instagram video. Oh no. Oh like you said. I was like on the video. I was like, "Oh my god." This is Braxton and it was. Oh my god. And it was like, "Body." It was like called a "Body." Or is it a name right? You just need to not call people by their names. It was so bad. I just need to be like, "Oh, like king." I remember. Here's the thing that I remember things about. Like I remember Emily Michelle. I remember who guys is face to reaction. I remember the Joseph's. You remember always remember stories. I remember all stories. They're names. And I tried all of those secrets. But what I was talking about with Emily Michelle is I think it's an important part of people and who they are. And I think it's kind of an asshole thing. You mean their name? Yes. It's a big deal. Kiituali, jossa. Täni accessory on eihop mitta keltuu. Täni ei ole koko ajan. the 50,000 obviously and it says, you know, you invest 50,000 and then you get two tickets to opening night. Oh, okay. Oh, that's it. Still though. That's all. Yes. And then if you invest, I think it was 40,000. We're the money back of the money. If the money, yeah, yeah, we put many,000 in. You're going to get money back if it does well. I would assume, but what if it doesn't do well, you know, it's just kind of like a gamble. Maybe I didn't even know the question is asked because he's like, I've never been like, oh, I was just like, yeah, send me this musical. I need to watch the producers. I think 40,000, you only get one ticket to opening night and then 20,000. Yeah. Don't even get a ticket to opening night. Which is crazy to me because if this musical comes to Broadway and I want to see it opening night, normally they start around $1,000. So I could just spend $1,000 if I wanted to see it on opening night. Maybe it could sell out. That's not for the opening night. The part of investment is to hopefully get a return on it. It's crazy because I would think investing any amount of thousands of dollars you should get a ticket to opening night. But I guess that's just not how these things work. But I mean, there's a lot of people that one, I think one of the things that I think has been cool about kind of exploring that podcast side of things is the how much money and time and attention to create something. A, B and I have really discovered. And I do think that sometimes we think this must have a handful of investors and it just costs, I don't know, a handful of amount of money and then they make theater, they make a movie, they make anything. And I bet like to get it going, they would fill out the theater with the comp tickets. Because there's probably that many people that have to invest. There's that much money they probably have to raise. Which is crazy. I ultimately emailed her back and said, I can't spend that amount of money right now. You should have made it. I love you said, I'm like, now, like, I mean, next day. I told her, keep me in mind for other things because I don't know years from now that could be something that I am. I do have enough money for who knows. But and she was like, oh, no problem at all. I'll just keep sending you things. So now I'm just going to be getting sent all these musicals that are coming to Broadway but aren't like released or anything. We should be using her to book guests on our podcast. I think that's the next step. So I ask her if she wants to do anything for our podcast. But I also, I thought it was interesting that she, she only knows me through Instagram. Looked at my Instagram and thought I had that amount of money. Like Evan said, that's just so crazy. What could you find an investor and maybe get the tickets that way? I think AB helps promote it. They eventually, I don't know if you get opening night because what did you, you went to and was it opening night or just that actor's opening? Just that actor's opening. So see it's gotten calm tickets for bro. I don't know if you'd be. But they do. I mean, probably be out early. Broadway throws out those influencer opening night because they want everybody to go see the show and to promote it. No. I think it's less about being an opening night and more about I think it's really cool that you are in starting to get into this world of seeing stuff before it hits Broadway before it hits live theater because your career is taking you into that world. Yeah. I think that's really cool. Like I remember when I did a couple of interviews for movies that were like we're past, we're protected. Like I interviewed, I think it was a Zach Efron when he was doing what he played. It was a 10-bundie or one of the serial killers. It was Reese. Well, Reese it was like 8, 10 years ago now. This one's crazy because it was when I was in Dallas. It was 2019. Does that make sense? I don't know why that. I'm looking at it. I'm looking at it. That's like seven years. Seven years. That was a great move. Yeah. But I had to do it. And so Netflix has sent it to me and I got to screen it. It was like cool. You go into your Netflix account and you like log this password in and then it's like only that movie pops up. That's cool. The serial killer and like seeing it before it was like it was I think it was like a month before it came out. It was a while before it came out. It did really, really well. Yeah. And so I got to see it before you say that because Zach Efron is on your Mount Rushmore of a month. No, he looked really ugly in it. They like messed up his teeth and his face. Yeah. He did well who he was playing. It's I think it's I think it's a I think it's a Monday. Yeah. Yep. Why is it so I would just from filmography and I went, you know what? Maybe you're on to something with it being on your Mount Rushmore. You know, oh my God. That's what I've been saying. He was he on his own. By the way, he was Ted Bundy. It was the film was extremely wicked, shockingly evil and vile. Yeah. And then afterwards when it had come out, came out in 2019. 10 years. I've talked for some reason I was like looking this up recently. That's all I think. Zach Efron does not belong on anyone's Mount Rushmore of famous people. Kevin get off. I think he put him out there is crazy and the Kevin got lost. I be he is like, maybe she has a point in the greatest show. And he is fantastic. Yeah. He's one of those guys that you could see. He's multi-talented. I lost him. He was awesome. He was awesome as one of mine. That's good on two big of a Zach Efron tangent. So awesome. I thought Zach Efron was going to be our generations Leo, not our decapra. Like young, good looking guy. Would you like the Titanic? He cares too much about living his life. You don't think Leo does. Leo looks like he's living great. How does he Leo with his supermodels? Zach's like the opposite where he's like outdoors. Like kind of what Shawn Mendes has become where like they don't wear shoes outside anymore. And they just live in the forest. You know what I mean? He's become a Matthew McConaughey. He likes his life. Yeah. That's Matthew McConaughey. Yeah. And like Matthew McConaughey has been nominated for Oscars. Like he is like a top 10 of all time. I think he cares about that stuff. I don't know. Yeah, you don't think he cares about the art of acting anymore. Yeah. I would agree. Like I do think he's more of an extreme guy. But I was wrong about him. I really do think I thought he was going to be like I'm asking the con a you know, the depraved to big movies. I thought he was a really good actor. He could sing. I thought he was great and the greatest showman. There was a movie where he played like a soldier coming home or something like that. Was it a romance movie? And I thought it was really the lucky one. The lucky one. Yeah. Oh my gosh. He could really act in that movie. Yeah. And sorry. I saw him on the IMBB. I really thought he was the lucky one. But he like he like kind of the biggest thing he did was like his Netflix like into the wild. Zach Alfredo. Then he got some of Zach Alfredo got body shaved. That made every man. Yeah. He almost died. Oh yeah. He like had to get facial reconstructive surgery and everyone like was telling him he looked ugly. He's like what do you want me to do? Yeah. And now his brother is like more famous than him. So, he's got a pretty good. You know. Oh, he was the voice of the law. The law. He was Ted. I didn't know that. I've never seen the law. I do. Well, I do. I do. I do think it's cool that AB is kind of flirting with that world of learning. That is very cool. That's cool about her career and this industry is it like opens up all these different things. And I think AB when she first walked into the studio, she had pled for 60 jobs and got one. And I was like I just showed up here to get a job. And now it's kind of realizing and someone who didn't see herself in radio has realized that like radio like crosses over to these worlds. They don't even realize it exists. Like the things that she was passionate about was probably Broadway and more social media and video and realizing that like podcasts, video, Broadway, all kind of rolling to one. And you can do a little bit of everything. There are especially people in radio that do a little bit of everything. If you do it right, you can. I think that's cool. Do you have to tell somebody if you're going to return something they got you as a gift? You have to give them a heads up like I'm taking this back. No. I don't think you should do that. So Hannah did that. I think that was a bad move. I thought it was the right move. Everyone said no. I didn't think it'd be judged on that. So I think it's an interesting conversation. I don't think I want to hear Hannah's perspective because I don't think you need to tell them because it's your gift. But I understand why you would tell someone out of respect. So Bessie said it got me a ring doorbell camera for my housewarming gift. And I had my brother install it and then it stopped working kind of right away. And it gave me a notification that like the type of transformer I have at my house couldn't give the doorbell enough power to work. So I asked my brother what to do and he's like you need to return it and get a battery operated one instead of like wired. Okay. Well, yeah. That's like, okay. Well, get reason. Instead, send me the QR code to send it back to Amazon when I first got the gift. So I texted her and I'm like, hey, love the ring doorbell. It's just not really compatible for my house. So my brother suggested that I get the battery operated one. So I'm going to return the one that you got me. But thank you. I'm going to get the battery operated one instead. And I didn't think that would be rude. I just didn't want her to see it like or get an email or something that said I returned it and then have no explanation. Right. Because it's Amazon and Amazon's like an account that people look at all the time. So I didn't want her to see that I returned it and think I didn't like it or that I wanted something completely different. I just wanted her to know the information in case she did see it and then got her feelings hurt. I don't know. See, I think it's an interesting conversation because I think if you get the gift, it's your gift to do whatever you want with, right? That's true. But I would understand like, her friend comes over to her house and she doesn't have that ring doorbell up. It's awkward. It is. So you need the explanation behind it. Yep. Yes. And so do you have to give the person a heads up? Because I've like like, oh, can you just bring the gift I got you over and like, no. Like what if they got you something they would be together? - I will get too formal to say in a text. Like that almost made it too formal. Like I would have waited until I got the new one and the next time I see or just been like, oh by the way, I don't know if you got a receipt saying I returned it, this one was just more compatible. I got the new one. I don't have to. - I don't even need to be like casual. - Yeah, more casual. I'm never casual about anything for one, but for two, I felt guilty for returning it for some reason. - I think people do feel guilty when you're returning a gift. - If someone gets you something, you feel like back. - I feel like in your case you're returning it and just getting the same thing that just works better. - I know what for some reason I still was like, oh like I don't want her to feel bad that it wasn't compatible for my house. Like I don't know, I just didn't want her to feel bad at all. - It's a big gift to her. - Great doorbells are expensive. - Right, and it was, it's very important to me in the house. And so I wanted to make sure it was like completely perfect. So it was a little bit awkward that I had to. - I did. - What did she respond? Well then she was like, well for the wired one, like my husband can come out and then like get a transformers like $25, but we might have one that you see. - That's why I would have done it after it was done. - Yeah. - You know what I mean? So then she doesn't have to be like, oh sorry, my husband will come over and do this and I'll fix it and you can be like, oh no I already did it. Like it was no big deal. - No, I just, I didn't know what to do. - 'Cause then it's reverse. 'Cause then she feels like her gift was an inconvenience. - Yeah. - Oh, that's why when it's already done, it's done. - Yeah, like I don't know what to do that way. - It's cool. - It's a different thing. - Sometimes I don't tell people stuff until after it's over then I feel like I've been lying and I don't like that. - Oh. - It's just a weird thing to feel like you're lying though. - Do you feel like returning? - I feel that guilty though, like I don't want to offender. - Do you feel like it's sneaky? - But we're trying to, it's like returning to a return of gift. - Yes. - Oh just in general. - Just in general. - Yes. - I don't know that I ever have. - Never return a gift. - What was like the wrong size or what? - There's like a whole sign full that this sort of thing. - You already gave me a gift. - Would you do them? - Yeah, I mean, I don't think it's sneaky. I mean, I think once the gift leaves you to somebody else, it's theirs to do with what they will. - People say that, but it depends what it is. I think if it is a heartfelt gift, you have to keep it. But I think if it's just kind of like a candle or a blanket and you're like, this had no meaning to our relationship. - Oh I would have. - Then I think it's okay. Like a lot of people re-gift candles and stuff like that. - See, like there are situations where like, if you re-gift something, like there's a whole sign fold. - Yeah. - And it's like in a different apartment. And like, where's that gift I got you? It's like, is that a B's apartment? - One time. - Like that would be so fucked up. People would be mad. So like, but like, I'm guilty of this. Like, I don't care what people do with my gift. But like my wife, like when we go to kids' birthday parties, I feel like so many kids like the same thing. They just like all in the same group. And so my son, we want him to pick out the gifts for the kids. So he has some like choice in it. But it'll pick out the gift. And probably every other kid is gonna pick out. And so the parents will text like, oh, did you guys get this gift? And we're always like, I feel like the last people to pay out a gift for my wife. Like, I texted these moms. They already got the gift. Like, cool. They get all of three of them. He'll return and get to pick his own gift. She's like, you want to give a gift that you know they're gonna return? - No. - Yeah. - Yeah, like you're- - I don't like that I just show up. And it's the third lightning queen card. - It's a hassle to return shit. I hate returning stuff. - And then you just return your friends. - I know. - It should be defending me. - It's looking all the guilt that I had about it. I don't like it. - You should be defending me. - I'm not gonna give- - I'm not gonna give someone something that I know they're gonna return. That's just a waste of fucking time for me in. - Oh, so your friend wasted your fucking time. - No. - Oh, that's not her. - She didn't know. - You had a return gift. - She didn't buy it. No, it wouldn't fit my friends. - No, no, no. - It sucks when you have to return a gift. I can't believe your friend made you have to return a gift. - It does suck. - You should be defending me and saying, "It's no big deal to take a gift back." - Oh, so I just can't believe your friend made you do that. - One time my aunt bought my mom a scarf and my mom regifted it to her mom. And we had this huge family birthday something and everyone was at our house and my grandma wore that scarf. And she wore it, she didn't take it off when she came inside and my whole family was sitting there like, "Oh my gosh, Grandma take off the scarf. What are you doing?" And she never did. She left it on for like three hours. And my aunt just kind of like nudge my mom being like, "I see that scarf over there." We all were just kind of like, "Dae!" - It's not good. - But it was so awkward. So don't regift things to people that know each other. That's in learned, that's a lesson. - Regifting creates awkwardness is the bottom line. Speaking of awkwardness, I found someone or a fun Instagram reel that has the six worst days in human history. So if you ever feel like you're having a bad day, Lisa's not one of the worst days in the years. - Are these like scenarios? - Are these disasters? - No, these are like 9/11. - I know, I was thinking 9/11 as well. - This is a real thing that happened. In 1850, the day Mount Tambourora, I'm probably saying it wrong, erupted. One explosion caused a global year without sun. A global year without sun. - Oh, I've never heard of this. - I was gonna say. - Props failed worldwide and millions starved back in 1815. - Wow. - How have we never heard this? - I don't remember that. - Out of all the dumb shit we learned, we never learned about that. - You never learned about the Mount Tambourora. - Year without sun, yeah. - In 1970, the Hale Fix explosion, two ships accidentally collided. Triggered in the largest man-made explosion before NUX, a whole city was destroyed in seconds. - Oh, is that Halifax? - Yeah, the Halifax. - What was on these ships? - The night of Black Death arrived in Europe. In 1347, one infected ship, kind of like almost like this parasite that's going around, stocked in Sicily. That single moment triggered a pandemic that killed a third of Europe. It was like that cruise ship. Remember the cruise ship that were like, don't let it come. - Oh yeah. - It's because they probably knew about the night of Black Death that existed. - How was like no one bringing that up during COVID? - I think they did. And we just ignored it. And that's what we're like. - What are you making me think of TikTok? - We were the you're making me think of TikTok. - Waiting in line for toilet paper. (laughing) - The burning of the library of Alexandria, chain of accidents destroyed the ancient world's greatest library. It, tire civilizations history vanished overnight. - That was one of the seven wonders of the world, I believe. - Yeah. - At the time, one of the ancient seven wonders. - It just destroyed Babylon. - It didn't know what happened to these two. - Was it intentional? - Something in me. - Somebody didn't return. Somebody didn't return their book and they were pissed. - Yeah. - To find. - And then the great molasses flood of 1990. A massive tank burst into Boston, releasing 35 miles per hour's wave of hot molasses. Building, - Oh my God. - Streets flooded in the city, drowned in molasses syrup. - Oh yeah, oh it's horrible. - In 1990, that was a very-- - Like that was a very-- - Yes, molasses syrup. - And it was just in the streets. - Like, - These are like-- - You put on pancakes was like, I mean like, - I read about these words, I never heard about any of these. I'm like, - I love the molasses. - These are the worst things. - I love the molasses was lava. - I know. - No, you're onto something. - That's molten lava, as everyone thinks of it. - Oh, that's what it is. - You're onto something. - Oh, you're onto something. - I was like, no one make fun of her yet. - Yeah. - I'm on her team. - Wait, wait, wait, okay. - This is liquid. - So it's-- - Here, that's what it was, - It's like, make up so-- - Yeah, it's like molasses. I'm trying to think what-- - Where you would-- - Why do I never hear of this molasses? - You've never heard of-- - Loads molasses. - That's what you've heard that say. That's what the saying comes from. Now you just learn-- - You're on the filmography on molasses. - I thought molasses was melting something. - What? - I feel like you're not completely wrong. - I know. - No. - I think whatever we learned in school is different. We're aligned on the 50th grade molasses. - It's like Rammals molasses. It's like syrup. - I've heard of Rammals molasses. - Molasses, what we learned in school. - Other liquid sweeteners like maple syrup, honey, or dark corn syrup. - You wonder why people-- - Slow oozing stuff. - Worry about Gen Z. - Since we were taught wrong things. - Yes, it was our education. - I'm worried that one of the worst days and history is on their way with Gen Z. - Well, we know one of Kevin's worst days and we can't talk about it. - That's right. - That's all I could think about when you first brought it up. - That 9/11. It's when I got into the fight with a coworker. - No, no, it's not that. - It was terrible. - Kevin literally puts it one wrong below 9/11. - It was bad, it was horrible. - As days on air in this studio. - You guys thought it was bad, by the way, what's the name of Mason's mom? - You can't repair it. - Oh, yes. - Stop, you put it on the spot. - Oh my gosh. - Fucking genius, that's how this podcast ends.

Summary:

Toinen aihe on Broadway-musikaaliin sijoittaminen.
